We just got into town and there’s an approaching storm so we placed a delivery order (gave a large tip and it wasn’t raining yet, we’re not total jerks) and everything was FANTASTIC. We were able to get pizza, beer, and dessert delivered directly to our hotel and everything was hot and delicious. We will definitely stop to dine in later in the week!

Extremely disappointed with the management. I went out to dinner with my girlfriend, ordered pizza and drinks, and ended up biting into two pieces of glass that were baked into the pizza. I don't expect amazing pizza this far north of the city, but I do expect my utensils not to have food from the previous diners on them. Also, you really need to add more tomato sauce. The place looked great for a pizzeria and everything else seems to run like a well--oiled machine, though.

Came here off season on a Saturday night. Place was busy and service was good but food was not at all. Nothing was fresh and probably all bought frozen and re heated. first the Fried Mozzarella Sticks were nasty and we only ate two of them, the cheese ravioli were the same grocery store ones, and the Penne Alfredo with meatballs were not eatable. On our first trip to Maine, stumbled across this fantastic seafood restaurant on the beach in Ogunquit. Beautiful views, friendly, attentive service and delicious food! Started with the bacon-wrapped scallops, a local IPA and an apple cider sangria-all excellent! We had lobster sliders and lobster roll-both came with crunchy seasoned fries and both were fabulous! Of course lobster is pricey, but when in Maine, you kind of have to do it. Recommend you do it at Ogunquit Beach Lobster House!

The location is right off the water with huge windows that brings in a lot of light. The interior is beach themed and the staff were quick to get us seated. There's public paid parking across the street.
Got the hot with butter lobster roll that was very fresh and satisfying. For the price, I would have expected slightly more lobster, but if you're hungry, get the colossal. The fries were equally great and the coleslaw was refreshing.

The staff was really friendly. They were kind and patient (not that we were a pain, but just with us asking about dietary restrictions). They were a bit slow. We didn't get an appetizer and regretted not getting one because the entrées took a while. The portions were a bit small but they give you a lotttt of fries if you get an entrée with fries.
The blueberry pie was yummy, just a bit tart. For the banana split, they did not have whipped cream. They also did not put a cherry or the chocolate sauce.
Overall, it was okay there. Nice view.

From a service standpoint, it took 45 minutes to get our food. They’re short staffed - they did have a sign at the front explaining this… but, my kids drinks were not refilled until I asked, my wife and I had beers - but we also had water. We had to ask for more water. We also, when we asked for our check were ready to go, were taken hostage while we had to wait for 15 minutes to get our check, to pay the bill, and tip the server… please let us leave when we asked to leave…

Me and my wife went on our honeymoon and we immediately felt welcomed. They had a male staff seating people and he was kind, kept us updated on wait times and was extremely friendly! 10/10 loved his energy. Being a great attraction and seaside community, Ogunquit has something to offer everyone. The Front Porch is a unique place for those that would enjoy singing along with a pianist. A happy place with a vibe for relaxation and fun with friends and family. The Piano bar is on the second floor, and during the live event times, seating can be a bit hard to find, especially in high season.
On a recent dinner visit I was fortunate to find a spot by the stairs and towards the back, but still with a bit of the view of the pianist. The menu has a lot of options and will appeal to almost everyone. I had the Crispy Calamari as an appetizer; quite the quintessential seafood dish when in New England. It is a generous portion and very well prepared. For the main course, I went with the Jerk Spiced Salmon, which was delicious and flavorful. Being a very busy place, one might expect a bit of a lag in service, but not so in my case. Madison as busy as she was, was fantastic and did a great job attending to not just me, but every table she supported. She was very pleasant and added much to my very satisfying experience.
The pianist performs a variety of hits that would be a perfect sing along for most music fans. Bring an appetite and anticipation for joy, and you will be very happy to have stopped by.

We made reservations for a birthday lunch today that got missed all together! Assuming you can make it through the front door, there's enough room for two people and it feels really awkward (I seriously doubt it meets code). Our waitress was clueless and nowhere to be found. Let's get to the food, should we? My g.f. ordered fish tacos that according to her were the absolute worst she ever had. I can get the same or better burger at any sub shop and it will cost me half of what I paid. Lobster mac & cheese was barely ok. We ended up wasting $150 at TFP (we had no drinks) but this was one and done. BTW, hire and electrician to install the lights properly. This and the restaurant across the street are clearly cash cows for the owners.

Cannot hear the piano player from all areas as the place is so loud. Would be helpful if tv screens would show what he/she is playing so if you can’t hear the music you have a clue as to what the song is.

Fun place. Here's what to know: for the piano bar, which is upstairs, you can't make reservations; they just fill the space with voices to sing along with the pianist. They don't serve food up there. I know this place is highly rated by reviews and some locals we talked to. But we found it didn’t hit the mark. The host greeted us warmly and that started out the evening well. But our service and food after that was average. The risotto was more on the undercooked and crunchy side and both that and the mac and cheese were average in flavor. The server never came back to ask if our food was good and didn’t ask if we wanted anything else before bringing our check. We’re not overly demanding with high expectations but going to a place with a reputation like this you do think you’ll have great food and friendly service.

The chowder looked and tasted like water. The strawberry salad was soaked in a dressing that tasted like pure vinegar. The rest of the meal was just OK. The atmosphere would have been nice, but there was a birthday or bridal party of at least a dozen women, yelling in a room that only held two dozen people. Four of us had breakfast here today. We got there at nine and waited about 20 minutes for a table. The host was extremely friendly. The server was pleasant, knowledgeable, and attentive. This place is great!! We had a short wait (<10 minutes) and then we were seated and greeted right away. The bloody Mary was flavorful and perfectly spiced, and the coffee was very fresh. I had the Crab Sarasota and I was blown away -- the flavor was amazing, the eggs were perfectly cooked, and the sourbread toast was delicious. I loved how creamy the scramble was with the addition of the cream cheese. Our server was super busy but still remained kind and friendly :) the prices were reasonable and the decor was lovely. Super nice people make great food! Crab cake Benny (Benedict) was hitting a spot so well. And portions are large enough to satisfy any hunger level. On top of that, coffee and Raspberry muffin are an excellent combination! Well sorry stopping by! My family and I had a great breakfast here. I almost forgot to get pictures! The service was great and fast. We were here after Labor Day so we got in and seated right away. My mom had French toast and bacon loved it! My dad had #5 Mixed Grill omelette he said it was the best omelette he has ever had! My hubby had the #4 The Lorraine said it was yummy! Everything was fantastic. Amazing selection of oysters. Serves expertly, as you can see. The sangria was tasty and we had a nice little view of the ocean from the end of the bar. I didn't catch the bartenders names but both of them were awesome. It was the first day on the job for one of them and she was very sweet, nice and fun. All the components came together perfectly. I had the broccoli salad which was amazing. I’ve tried to duplicate it at home. Our server said it has poppy seed dressing. My husband had the steak sandwich which was also incredible. We shared the Jenks run cocktail and loved it. All around it was a perfect meal with enjoyable ambiance and great service. We came back a couple of days later. I had the salmon with a coconut curry sauce that was heavenly. My husband had the haddock Rachel sandwich, once again excellent. And we had another Jenks cocktail. When you find the perfect place there’s no reason to go anywhere else. I wish we lived here so I could eat here more often. I highly recommend it. The prices were so reasonable.

We ate at the Maine Catch for Father’s Day this weekend, and everything was perfect! The weather was nice, so we sat outside on the Patio with our dog Reggie… we were surrounded by beautiful flowers and the decor was great. We each had a cocktail, and that was delicious. Next, we had the Shrimp Cocktail appetizer, and it was the best we’ve ever had. The Shrimp were huge, cooked perfectly and the cocktail sauce with extra horseradish on the side was spot on. Our entrees were the Baked Haddock (I substituted broccoli for the rice with no questions asked) and my husband’s Scallops were seared perfectly and enormous. The plating was beautiful and the service was excellent. Couldn’t have had a better meal anywhere, in Maine or in Boston. Can’t wait to come back again!

We were told about this place by a sweet gal at the Colonial Inn . It is this quaint looking establishment from the outside … Lovely rustic decor inside . Excellent service by Drew … They made my granddaughter a delicious mocktail and our cocktails were perfect .. The fried clams and crabcakes were the best we’ve ever had. An absolute gem in Ogunquit, the seafood is as fresh as it gets, and flavor of the dishes are amazing. We had oysters, crab cake, Brussels, lobster risotto and the seafood Newburg. While everything is delicious, the Newburg gets a special shoutout for the unique flavor profile, would come back just for that! Our server Drew was attentive and had spot on recommendations. Serious food, unserious service. My companion had the baked haddock and it was delicious, well seasoned and accompanied by grilled broccolini, which elevated the dish.
I opted for the seafood newburg, and though it did not have the standard puff pastry, the grilled bread was enough to suffice, and it was fantastic.
The downside was that I felt like we were bothering the waiter, i handed in a dirty fork that was in my service, and I was five minutes into eating my meal with another service that was brought to me by the kitchen runner, before our waiter asked if he brought me a fork.

We were seated on the back patio which looks out over Perkin’s Cove. The fried calamari was dressed with a delicious balsamic dressing. The shrimp tempura was served with a sesame/Mayo sauce along with two fried rice balls. Both plate were a surprise to my tastebuds!! Excellent dishes. Service was friendly and very efficient!! I have been waiting to try out this restaurant after visiting Perkins Cove a few times. They are the sister company to The Lobster Shack right next door.
We were looking for a quick place to eat lunch with a view. The seating if available is right on the beach over looking the ocean... Just beautiful.
The menu is a great mix of what you expect to find in Maine and some other nice modern additions. The Hawaiian Poke Bowl caught my eye! My wife got the crab cakes.
The crab cakes were ok, not our best that we have had in Maine, but still pretty good. The Poke bowl was delicious and fresh. Think of it like a deconstructed tuna sushi wrap with sides. It had the rice, ginger, wasabi aioli, cucumber, seaweed salad, greens, avocado and the Poke...yum.
I would definitely come back again!

This is a secret hideaway which my wife and I discovered as we walked the tiny streets of Perkins cove. This place is very safe! April the hostess greets you at the front door, hands you a menu and gives you few minutes to decide on what you would like to eat and drink. Then you proceed inside to place your order. Once you place your order and pay you are seated . We sat outside overlooking the sea. We had a selection of items which were all top quality, fresh and delicious! Haddock and clam chowder had good amount of seafood, and tasted like the sea…it didn’t have bacon and heavy cream to mask the flavor. Oysters were from Maine and very fresh. Shrimp tempura was top notch, not greasy, very fresh flavors. Now for the entrees… Hawaiian poke and a grilled yellow fin tuna sandwich. Wow the poke tasted just like I had in Hawaii…I loved the ginger, and seaweed salad (wakame) . The poke was over white rice. Simple but bursting with flavors. The yellowfin tuna was perfectly grilled rare. It was so tender, I was able to cut it with my fork. It came on a bun with arugula and a wasabi Mayo. The next time I will ask for it deconstructed since part of the bun got soggy. Hey everything was perfect except for a soggy bun…no big deal …we will be back next weekend to have another wonderful meal overlooking the beautiful sea. Decided to visit the last night of our stay for some late night drinks & dessert. The drinks were amazing! Sunset at the footbridge, margaritas (alc & non-alc). The nonalcoholic margaritas were delicious, best we’ve ever had to be honest. The live music was great, added a fun chill vibe, very fun. We did order a slice of blueberry pie, which was ok & the reason for the 4-stars. It unfortunately was burnt, so that was disappointing as our favorite pie place closed years ago and we’ve been looking for some good pie. Overall it was a great place, we’ll be back again & would recommend it to others.

This lively restaurant, located on the corner of Route 1 and Shore Road, has a great menu. We sat at a high top table and enjoyed the view (seriously, it’s chaotic! Me and my family stayed here for 2 days. It was a great experience, the rooms were nice and clean, the beds were comfortable, and everything works. They don’t clean the rooms but if you need anything you can get it easily. They have a machine in the hotel so you can get hot/cold filtered water and it worked nicely. The curtains in our room did a great job blocking out any sunlight, and we weren’t interrupted in the night at all by people in the halls. Overall, a very nice hotel, and if we come through the area again we would gladly stay here.

Arrived late on a Friday and stayed two nights. The desk clerk was cheerful and helpful. They were having a crochet lap blanket class the next day in hotel welcome area from 1-4 and provided all the supplies and teacher for $125 with your choice of yarn color. I decided to try it! Wonderful class and I left with the softest, beautiful hand (no crochet hook) crocheted lap blanket! Our room was spotless, bed so comfortable and the towels were so soft! Located close to shopping and dining. Excellent place to stay!

We had a wonderful time here. The hotel and rooms were very clean and the beds and pillows were super comfortable. We stayed Saturday through Monday and it was nice and quiet. The age group staying here was more on the older side with very few kids. Which I liked. I’m past the kid stage and just want peace and quiet. The restaurant was ok. Nothing spectacular and the food took a while. I wish the location was a little closer to downtown but it’s a manageable 20 min walk. Overall we would stay here again!

Hotel was very nice. Love the spacious lobby. Very clean. Restaurant always great. Have eaten there many times, but first time staying. The only issue was no grab bar on back shower wall in the ADA room. Was quite difficult for my husband to get on shower chair with nothing to hold on to. We enjoyed our stay at Gorges Grant! The location and rooms were great; however, our room was located next to a family with young children. We could hear everything including loud conversations and jumping at 6:30 am. Our breakfast food and server, Brian, were wonderful. The person who checked us in spent several minutes answering a couple’s questions about nearby restaurants (That couple had already checked in. They had no belongings with them.). We had to wait in line while holding our luggage. When the staff person finally spoke with us, she never told us the location of our room; it was in another building. No map of the grounds was provided, so we spent extra time trying to locate our room. We ended having to go back to the front desk carrying our luggage to ask where our room was. This was not a very positive, welcoming experience, especially since we had received many helpful emails before we arrived. Thank you for asking for our feedback.

My friends and I stopped at Gorges Grant on our way back from Acadia before heading home to New York. The hotel was clean, and the receptionist was friendly and welcoming. The room we stayed in, (sundown rooms ending in 7, might’ve been 207), had a sliding door that opened up to a shared balcony that is literally right over the sand. My jaw literally dropped when I saw the sunrise on the first morning. One of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen. Easy access to the beach too, if you want to walk it for sunrise!
- The rooms: nice, clean, and comfortable! Ours had a modern and clean bathroom with a big shower. Cozy beds, no issues!
- The area: the town of Ogunquit is walking distance from the rooms. The town is full of delicious restaurants, charming shops, etc. My grandpa said there are no chain-restaurants allowed in the town, and I didn’t see any. We had Robert’s seafood one night, super good. Roberto’s pizza another night, AMAZING, and very friendly staff. The town is SUPER WALKABLE. Where I’m from, no one ever walks anywhere, so it was a nice change. I’m usually very cautious and can get paranoid about safety. I never felt unsafe, the rooms and the town, especially with people walking around everywhere, felt very safe.
- The weather: We went the 3rd week of October this year, weather was perfect, the ocean breeze was so cool and beautiful in the morning. Temps got to around 70 in the afternoons.

Great location is about all I can say positive. Felt like I was in a weird motel hell place. The room was over 200 bucks , dated and ugly. For $200 expected at least some semblance of a decent place to stay. The bathroom was probably clean I couldn’t tell because it’s so dated and grass looking. The location is great steps away from the beach but that location isn’t worth the money. It was quite a hike to get downtown where everything is happening I would rather have spent a little more and stay downtown and walk to the beach the next day. All in all a very disappointing stay I wish I could do it over again and stay somewhere downtown where it’s more walkable and cleaner or at least updated. I don’t mind paying the money but I do expect it to be worth it very disappointing.

The Neptune Inn is in a great location, within walking distance to the downtown area and right on the beach. The hotel is older which isn't the issue, cleanliness is the reason for the two star. The beds were old, bedding was old, curtains old and somewhat tattered. I'm ok with old but these items didn't appear to be very clean. There was funky odor as well. Our door to our room was a patio slider door, upon opening it, you immediately had to step down into the room. Again, I am ok with older hotels, my husband and I enjoy the historical " mom and pop" hotels but this one could use some new linens and a deep clean.

We have been to Ogunquit before but this is our first trip to The Neptune Inn. I visited with my boyfriend and his parents and we all absolutely loved our stay here at the Neptune. The rooms were modest but clean and had A/C, a working fridge, TV, and a clean bathroom/shower. The beds could have been a little comfier but honestly they were fine for our needs. We loved being so close to the beach; you really can't get much closer than this. There is a trolley stop here which makes it easy to get around town. The footbridge path is a nice little shortcut to Marginal Way or Perkins Cove. We will be back again.

Once again we stayed here for 2 nights on a last minute getaway. Would have liked a room that opens onto a porch, but since it was last minute, we took what they had. Not a modern resort hotel, but it is clean, everything works, and it is on the beach. No driving, no trolley. Just out the door and there you are on Maine's finest beach. We love it and will continue to return.
