Dar Al Madinah Museum, located in Madinah Knowledge Economic City, is the oldest museum in Madinah dedicated to the history of Islam. It offers a rich depiction of Islamic heritage and culture through striking images, paintings, and rare artifacts. The museum also provides detailed information about the life of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and holds seminars on the city's history and culture.
Dar Al Madinah Museum is a hidden gem for anyone interested in Islamic history and the rich heritage of Medina. The museum offers detailed exhibits, artifacts, and visual presentations that beautifully showcase the history of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), the early days of Islam, and the evolution of Medina. The models and illustrations of the Prophet’s Mosque, Masjid Quba, and the Battle of Uhud make the experience truly engaging. The guided tours are informative and provide deep insights into the life and times of the Prophet (PBUH). The museum is well-organized, clean, and air-conditioned, making it a comfortable visit for families and individuals alike. If you're in Medina, this is a must-visit spot to gain a deeper understanding of Islamic history. Highly recommended for history lovers and those seeking spiritual enrichment!
Shakil Q — Google review
I am giving 3 star for guide improvement {Urdu section} and for false information of Mud and saa ( by receptionist). The museum is good — they give enough time to observe everything without rushing, and you can visit multiple times museum on the same ticket during the same visit. The guide explained things fairly well within his limited knowledge, but they really need to visit these historical places themselves first. That way, they can explain with more confidence — like the village where Prophet Muhammad’s (SAW) mother is buried. They should read authentic historical books and personally explore these sites so that their explanations become more engaging and informative for visitors. While promoting Mud and Saa’, the Pakistani person at reception wearing Saudi Toub with short beared told me it costs 500 riyals. I asked, "Why should I purchase it?" — just to check his intention and understanding of Aqidah. (Mud and Saa’ are traditional Islamic units of measurement used during the time of the Prophet Muhammad SAW ) He replied, "There is barakah (blessing) in the Mud and Saa’." I responded, "But it's made by you people." He said, "There is barakah in the measurement itself." Such beliefs need to be based on sound knowledge, not just cultural assumptions.

Words will not do justice for how wonderful and enriching this place is. The history of Islam, made beautifully in models and explained very well by the guide. They have guides speaking different languages. Overall experience was excellent. The entrance to the museum is 25 sar. There are stalls outside the museum where you can buy souvenirs. The museum also has the history compiled in books. We bought the book for 250sar.
Tahira K — Google review
A wonderful experience inside the museum, very beautiful ❤️❤️❤️ While visiting the Dar Al Madinah Museum in Madinah, I stopped by a small stall that turned out to be truly special. They had beautiful handmade misbahas, each with its own charm. One in particular caught my eye — a misbaha made from white agate. It was so elegant, with a soft shine and peaceful color. The seller was incredibly kind and knowledgeable — he even gave me a small perfume gift along with the misbaha. I was touched by his generosity and warm attitude. This little stall is a hidden gem in the museum — a place where you don’t just buy something, you leave with a memory and a smile. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Madinah.

Great place to visit and visualize the seerah of the prophet (PBUH) Multi language tours are available. Unfortunately the sales point don't accept cards !

1. Far away from Masjid Nabawi (city centre). 2. No public transport available. Have to hire public taxi. 3. Museums near Masjid Nabawi are better options. 4. SAR.25 per person Entrance ticket is on higher side. 5. Instead of using models in congested place with a guide, it would have been better to use AI techniques with individual ear phones with various language options.

Must visit museum if you are into history and lifetime of Prophet Mohammad PBUH. Recommended!

Dar Al Madinah Museum is an absolute must-visit if you’re in Medina! It’s a treasure trove of history that brings the early days of Islam to life. The exhibits are beautifully curated, with detailed models, artifacts, and displays that really help you visualize the rich history of Medina and the life of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable, always ready to answer questions and share fascinating insights. The guided tours are excellent, making the experience both educational and engaging. The attention to detail in the models and the way the stories are told is truly impressive. You leave with a much deeper appreciation of Medina’s history and its significance in Islam. Whether you’re a history lover or just curious to learn more, Dar Al Madinah Museum is a fantastic place to visit. It’s informative, inspiring, and leaves you feeling more connected to the city and its incredible legacy. Highly recommended!

Uhud Mountain, located in Medina, is a significant historical site where the Battle of Uhud took place in 624 CE. This imposing rocky ridge offers visitors the opportunity to learn about the early history of Islam and reflect on the events that unfolded there. Hiking up the mountain provides breathtaking scenic views and a chance to explore war relics and visit the graves of martyrs.
The historical significance this mountain has on islamic history is undeniable. It is hard to believe it in today’s world but I would request everyone to put your shoes back during Prophet (SW) days and imagine the war zone during that time.
Tas A — Google review
Visited here to ziarah cemetery of the fallen syuhada in Battle of Uhud. The space is big. You can view the cemetery from multiple sides. You can try to climb up the hill but be careful as the slopes are full of rocks. I took this opportunity to say my salam and prayers to all the martyrs.
Sekai P — Google review
This is a secret place for Muslims in Madina. The site is massive in terms of the views and the space for walking. A few disadvantages; the square near the mountain is very filthy with the rubbish, but the cleaners are always here to clean after the tourists. It is just so sad that most of the visitors throw rubbish on the ground. Really shameful and unacceptable behavior. They distribute water bottles free of charge.

Visiting Jabal Uhud was an emotional experience. It’s not just a mountain, it’s a symbol of courage, sacrifice, and love for Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. You can feel the weight of history in the air.
Muhammad M — Google review
Visiting Mount Uhud was a deeply emotional and memorable experience. Located in Madinah, this mountain is not just a natural landmark — it holds great historical and spiritual significance in Islam. It was the site of the famous Battle of Uhud, which took place between the Muslims of Madinah and the Quraysh of Makkah. Standing at the base of the mountain, I could feel the weight of history. This is where many brave companions of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) gave their lives in defense of Islam, including the beloved uncle of the Prophet, Hazrat Hamza (RA), who is buried in the nearby Martyrs’ Cemetery (Jannat al-Shuhada). The atmosphere was calm and reflective. I saw people praying, reciting Qur’an, and sending blessings upon the martyrs. It reminded me of the sacrifices that were made for the religion we follow today. The mountain itself is beautiful and stretches across the horizon, standing tall as a silent witness to the past. Mount Uhud teaches us lessons of patience, unity, and faith. It’s a place every Muslim should visit, not just to see a historical site, but to reconnect with the spirit of Islam and honor the legacy of those who came before us.

Lovely mountain, that loves us and we love it. It's one of the key sights in Medinah and can be seen from all over the city. Some people climb the mountain using some of the off road trails. The mountain is very rocky, but from below it sometimes looks as if it's very green. Great views from above.

Nestled in the serene landscape of Madinah, Al Baqi Cemetery, also known as Jannat-al-Baqi or the Garden of Heaven, stands as a significant historical site. This ancient cemetery is revered for being the final resting place of many esteemed companions and family members of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), including his beloved daughter Hazrat Fatima-al-Zehra and grandson Hazrat Imam Hasan Ibn Ali.
Jannat ul Baqi review The authorities decide where you can go, where you can stand, what you can see and where you can pray. The time slots are also severely limited. Just allowed to walk on one short path and then exit. In my experience, they made us use an alternate entrance despite there being no crowds or rush. They did not even allow us to stop and say a prayer. Behaved rudely as per Saudi tradition. The place is very close to the heart of hundreds of millions of people. It has the graves of the family of Prophet Muhammad Peace Be Upon Him.

Al Baqi Cemetery in Madinah is a deeply spiritual and historical site. Resting place of many of Prophet Muhammad’s family and companions, it evokes reflection and reverence. A serene, sacred place to visit, especially for Muslims seeking a connection with Islamic history.

Jannatul Baqi, also known as Baqi al-Gharqad, is a significant Islamic cemetery in Medina, Saudi Arabia. It's considered one of the holiest cemeteries in Islam, along with the graveyard of Masjid-i-Nabawi in Medina, as it is the final resting place for Prophet Muhammad's family members, wives, and many of his companions. The cemetery is the location of the graves of four Shia Imams, making it particularly important for Shia Muslims.

Timings are after Fajr prayer for a longer time and then after Asr prayers for maybe half an hour. Females are not allowed inside. Jannat al-Baqi is a historic and significant cemetery located in Medina, Saudi Arabia, adjacent to the Prophet's Mosque (Al-Masjid an-Nabawi). It is one of the most revered burial sites in Islam due to its association with several important figures from early Islamic history. Many of the Prophet Muhammad's family members, companions (Sahabah), and prominent figures of early Islam are buried in Jannat al-Baqi. Among those buried there are: 1. Umm al-Mu’minin (the Mother of the Believers) Aisha – The Prophet's wife. 2. Uthman ibn Affan – The third caliph of Islam. 3. Ali ibn al-Husayn (Zayn al-Abidin) – The son of Husayn ibn Ali and a great-grandson of the Prophet. 4. Abu Hurairah – A renowned companion of the Prophet who narrated many hadiths. 5. It is a historical site where the Battle of Khandaq took place. A mosque is available for prayers, along with clean washrooms and a well-maintained ablution area.
Zahid S — Google review
The battle of trench is in Islamic history which took place 1400+ years ago when people of Quresh and other tribes tried to attack Madina by laying a siege to the prophets city, companions and their properties. The seven mosques were built in that time signifying the companions of The Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ و سلم and a chapter in history when Muslims despite their lack of resources overpowered the enemies by digging a trench to defend the city. Highly recommend visiting this place for exploration.

This collection refers to a cluster of six small historic mosques—often called the “Seven Mosques” because many pilgrims include the Masjid al-Qiblatayn when visiting, making it seven in practice . These mosques serve as markers of the Battle of the Trench (Ghazwat al-Khandaq), where the Prophet (ﷺ) and his companions defended Madinah. Each mosque is named after a companion or event linked to the battle .

Masjid Khandaq, also known as the Mosque of the Trench or Mosque of Conquest, is a historical mosque in Medina, Saudi Arabia, linked to the Battle of the Trench (Ghazwa al-Khandaq). The mosque is situated where the trench was dug during the battle, on the northwest side of the Prophet's Mosque and the western side of Mount Sela. The Battle of the Trench, a significant event in early Islamic history, took place in the fifth year of the Prophet's Hijrah, when Madinah was besieged by an alliance of Jewish and non-Muslim Arab tribes. The mosque was recently rebuilt in a modern architectural style, accommodating 4,000 worshipers, and features two minarets, a designated women's prayer area, and parking lots.

It was built during Ottoman Era, the train used to run from Damascus to Medina, through the Hejaz region of modern day Saudi Arabia. And with a branch line to Haifa on the Mediterranean Sea. It was a part of the Ottoman railway network and the original goal was to extend the line to Istanbul & beyond Damascus to the holy city of Mecca. In the midst of the vast desert, the Hijaz Railway Station stands majestically in the city of Madinah. Built during the Ottoman era, this station witnessed the long journey of trains connecting Damascus to Madinah. Every day, the Hijaz train carried pilgrims and merchants with their goods. The sound of the locomotive rumbling and the steam puffing out became a daily sight at the station. The Hijaz Railway Station symbolized progress and connectivity between holy cities and trade centers in the Middle East. To this day, the station remains a historical witness to the journey of trains.

Masjid Quba, located south of Madinah, holds a special place in the hearts of Muslims as it is the first mosque built by Prophet Muhammad. It is considered a significant pilgrimage site and is mentioned in the Quran for its Islamic importance. Visiting Masjid Quba and offering prayers there is believed to bring great spiritual rewards, with some traditions equating it to the reward of performing Umrah.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Masjid Quba – The First Mosque in Islam Masjid Quba holds a special place in every believer’s heart. It was the first mosque built in Islam, and every step within its walls feels filled with blessings and peace. The calm atmosphere, the gentle breeze of Madinah, and the pure serenity here make it an unforgettable spiritual experience. The mosque is beautifully maintained — clean, organized, and surrounded by peaceful courtyards. Praying here brings a deep sense of tranquility, knowing the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ himself prayed in this sacred place. Simple yet full of divine beauty — Masjid Quba is a must-visit for every pilgrim in Madinah. Each visit leaves your heart lighter and your faith stronger.

A Visit to Quba Masjid: The Foundation of Piety Quba Masjid holds the unparalleled honor of being the first mosque in Islamic history, its foundation laid by the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) himself. Today, it stands as a breathtaking architectural masterpiece that beautifully marries profound historical roots with striking modern design. The mosque's exterior, clad in pristine white marble, features four elegant minarets and a cluster of domes that glow majestically in the Madinah sunlight, symbolizing purity and grace. Inside, the spacious prayer halls are cooled and the layout is symmetrical and welcoming, creating an atmosphere of deep tranquility and spiritual reflection for the thousands of pilgrims it can accommodate. Important Visitor Logistics While Quba is a spiritual sanctuary, visitors should be aware of a few logistical points, especially for elderly visitors or those with young families. Please note that children under the age of seven (7) are typically not permitted to enter the main mosque halls. For ladies, the dedicated entrance to the women’s prayer area is located towards the far rear of the complex. This requires a significant walk, which can be challenging for the elderly or those with mobility issues. However, the mosque does offer an intermittent golf cart shuttle service that provides a convenient pick-up and drop-off to cover this distance. This service runs in intervals rather than continuously, so a short wait may be necessary. If you are coming from Masjid an-Nabawi (the Prophet's Mosque), a convenient paid bus/van service is also available, offering a direct trip between the two sacred sites, which is an excellent alternative to the scenic but lengthy Quba Walkway for those short on time or seeking comfort.

Masjid Quba holds a very special place in the heart of every Muslim. It is the first mosque in the history of Islam, built with the arrival of our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ in Madinah. Praying here is not just an act of worship, but a deep spiritual experience filled with love, devotion, and connection to Islamic history. The atmosphere of Masjid Quba is peaceful, pure, and full of tranquility. Every prayer here brings inner peace and a special sense of closeness to Allah. According to Hadith, offering two rak‘ah of prayer in Masjid Quba carries the reward of an Umrah, which makes this place even more precious. May Allah grant every Muslim the chance to visit this blessed mosque and pray here again and again. A truly beautiful, sacred, and unforgettable place.

Masjid Quba – The First Mosque in Islam Masjid Quba holds a truly special place in every believer’s heart. It was the first mosque built in Islam, and every step within its walls feels filled with blessings and peace. The calm atmosphere, the gentle Madinah breeze, and the deep serenity make it an unforgettable spiritual experience. According to a hadith, whoever purifies himself at home, then comes to Masjid Quba and offers two rak‘ahs of prayer, will receive the reward of an Umrah. The Prophet ﷺ used to visit the mosque every Saturday, but you can visit at any time. The masjid is grand, spotless, and carries a pleasant fragrance throughout. However, one disappointing aspect is the behavior of some guards, especially when it comes to women accessing the upper levels. It can be frustrating for families when women wish to wait for their husbands or mothers for their sons, and they’re not allowed to do so. Despite this, Masjid Quba remains a deeply spiritual and blessed place, one that strengthens your faith and lightens your heart with every visit — truly a must-visit for every pilgrim in Madinah.

A pure white mosque which seams twin sister of Masjid e Nabwi to me MASHA ALLAH♥️♥️ It's a sacred place and has historical importance as qibla's direction was changed at this place, while the Ashra mubashra sahaba were promised Jannah🌹 The mosque has a peaceful atmosphere and beautiful modern architecture, while preserving its deep spiritual and historical value. It is a must-visit place for those travelling to Medina.💕

Qiblatain Mosque Qiblatain Mosque is located in Madinah, Saudi Arabia, and is one of the most historically significant mosques in Islam. It is named “the Mosque of the Two Qiblas” because it was here that Muslims changed the direction of their prayer (Qibla) from Jerusalem to the Kaaba in Makkah, following a divine command during the second year after the Prophet’s migration. The mosque symbolizes obedience and unity among Muslims and is admired for its elegant architecture and profound historical value.

A beautiful and historic masjid where Allah Subhana Tala changed qibla for Muslims dure namaz of Holy Prophet Muhammad PBUH.
Imran J — Google review
Masjid al-Qiblatain in Medina holds profound historical and spiritual significance in Islam. This mosque is uniquely known as the "Mosque of the Two Qiblas" because it is the revered site where Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) received the divine command to change the direction of Muslim prayer (Qibla) from Jerusalem to the Kaaba in Mecca. This pivotal moment in Islamic history is commemorated here, making the mosque an essential landmark for pilgrims and visitors to Madinah. Built in the second year of the Hijra, Masjid al-Qiblatain originally featured two prayer niches (mihrabs) indicating each Qibla direction; however, following renovations, only the niche facing Mecca remains. The mosque's architecture is simple yet elegant, with white walls, two minarets, and ample prayer halls capable of accommodating around 2,000 worshippers, fostering an atmosphere of peace and reflection. Visitors report a deeply moving experience, appreciating the mosque not only as a place of worship but also as a symbol of Islamic unity and obedience to divine commands. Though smaller and less busy than the Prophet's Mosque, it offers a tranquil space for meditation and spiritual connection. The mosque stands as a vital educational and religious site, beautifully preserving an important chapter of Islamic tradition and history for all who visit. Overall, Masjid al-Qiblatain is a must-visit destination in Medina that leaves a lasting impression with its historical significance and serene environment.

Wadi E Jin, also known as Wadi e Jinn Al Baida, is a mysterious and enchanting mountainous area located about 30 kilometers north of Medina. It is famous for its rocky roads where cars seem to move without any driver input or acceleration. Local legends attribute this phenomenon to the power of jinns, with some claiming to have heard eerie voices urging them to leave the area. Geologists, however, explain it as a result of reverse gravity.
Just experienced the mind-blowing Anti-Gravity Flow & Drive in Madina with my brothers! Watching a car zoom in neutral gear without engine power was unreal! Allah's creation is truly amazing. And what a surprise! Compared to my last visit a few years ago, the roads have been upgraded to one-way streets with a speed limit of 110 km/h (from 80-90 km/h earlier)! The new infrastructure makes the experience even more thrilling! Highly recommend a visit to entertain you and your loved ones! 😍

My visit to Wadi-e-Jinn left me stunned and amazed. It is a place where nature shows a phenomenon beyond normal explanation. I witnessed the strong winds of the valley, and when I placed a bottle on the road, instead of rolling in the direction of the wind, it moved in the opposite way. It was both shocking and fascinating — an experience that made me pause in awe. What makes Wadi-e-Jinn even more special is the deep tranquility it holds. Despite the unusual occurrence, the valley is peaceful and calm. The silence of the desert, the rush of the mysterious winds, and the serenity of the surroundings create an atmosphere that touches the heart. This place reminds you of the greatness of Allah ﷻ and the unseen realities of this world. It makes you reflect on how vast creation is and how limited human understanding can be. Truly, Wadi-e-Jinn is a place where one feels humbled, reminded of the unseen (ghayb), and connected to the power of the Creator. Every moment spent there was not just a sight of nature’s wonder, but also a reminder that the universe is filled with signs (ayat) that point towards Allah’s majesty and wisdom.

Nice place to visit. It has very basic facilities. It seems cheerful for kids too.

Wadi e Jinn has gained a reputation for being a place where strange things happen. One of the most talked-about phenomena is the "apparent gravity anomaly". Vehicles traveling in the valley often appear to move uphill by themselves, even when the road is supposed to have a downward slope. This optical illusion or magnetic anomaly has fascinated people for years, leading to various theories about the location. Some attribute it to the presence of Jinn, as per traditional beliefs, while others point to natural explanations like magnetic fields or geological oddities.
Ali B — Google review
Wadi e Jin is unlike anywhere else I’ve visited. The valley is surrounded by beautiful rocky mountains, and the atmosphere feels both calm and surreal. The most famous thing here is the natural phenomenon where vehicles seem to move on their own, even uphill, without pressing the accelerator. It’s an experience you really have to see in person to believe! The road is well-maintained, and the drive itself is very scenic. Many people stop to test the “gravity hill” effect, and it’s always fun to watch. The place has a unique charm because of the mix of natural beauty and the mystery behind it. If you’re in Madinah, I definitely recommend a short trip here—it’s only about 30 minutes away from the city. Best to visit in the morning or evening when it’s not too hot.
Sufyan M — Google review
Anti gravity flow and drive was a unique experience. My Kids enjoyed it a lot, an exciting place with a very high gravity force. Hence, the car is traveling at high speed in neutral without starting the engine. Masha Allah, we are amazed during this trip

The Mosque of Al-Ghamama, located in Medina, Saudi Arabia, is a centuries-old stone mosque believed to be the site where Prophet Muhammad performed the Eid prayer in 631. It is also associated with Salat ul-Istasqa, a prayer for rain during a period of drought in Medina. Although it was temporarily closed due to its proximity to Al-Masjid an-Nabawi, it has recently reopened for worshippers.
What a beautiful mosque and hospital reminder of where our Prophet used to pray his Eid prayer. Try to visit in the morning after fajr, the way the light reflects off the stone and the beautiful green trees surrounding make it perfectly serene and stunning. Thousands of pigeons to feed so take kids of bird seed and watch them fly. Beautiful creatures. Perfect mosque. Not to be missed

What a beautiful mosque and historic site — a wonderful reminder of where our beloved Prophet ﷺ used to offer his Eid prayers. Try visiting early in the morning, just after Fajr, when the soft sunlight reflects off the stone and the surrounding green trees create a peaceful, breathtaking atmosphere. You’ll find thousands of pigeons around — bring some bird seed for the kids and enjoy watching them flutter about. It’s a truly heartwarming sight. A serene, spiritual, and must-visit mosque — not to be missed when in Madinah. 🌿🕊️

The mosque was built during the reign of the Caliph Umar bin Abdul Aziz between 86 AH (704/706CE) to 93 AH (711/712CE), and renovated by the Sultan Hasan bin Muhammad bin Qalawan Ash-Shalihi in 1340 CE during the Sharifate of Mecca era. It was renovated again by the Sharif Saifuddin Inal Al-Ala'i in 1622, and at the time of Sultan Abd-ul-Mejid I in 1859 during the Ottoman era, using new tools and the appearance resembles more or less what it is today.[2] After that it was renovated again during the time of the Sultan Abdul Hamid II and by the Saudi government.

Masjid Al-Ghamama is a small but incredibly meaningful mosque located just a short walk from Masjid Al-Nabawi. It is believed to be the site where the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) performed the Eid prayer and prayed for rain (Salat al-Istisqa). Standing in this historic place gives you a powerful sense of connection to Islamic history. The mosque is beautifully preserved, with simple architecture that reflects the era it comes from. It’s usually quieter than the larger mosques, which makes it a peaceful spot for reflection and prayer. A must-visit for anyone in Madinah who wants to connect with the Seerah (life of the Prophet) on a deeper level.
Sufyan M — Google review
It's a small mosque near the Zamzam Water Collection Gate, also known as Gate 310 of the Prophet's Mosque (Al Nabawi). It is historically significant as it stands on the same spot where the Prophet ﷺ prayed for rain (Salat al-Istisqa) and offered Eid prayers in 631. The name "Ghamamah" means "cloud," referring to the rain clouds that are said to have appeared following his prayer. The mosque appears charming after sunrise since the sun's rays fall directly and reflect around it. Thus, I suggest visiting after Fazr prayer or after visiting Jannatul Baqi. Hundreds of pigeons roam throughout the yard, and many people enjoy feeding them. Masjid Abu Bakr is very close to it. Many individuals get confused, and the simplest way to differentiate is that Al Ghamamah has multiple mid-sized domes, whereas Abu Bakar only has one large dome.
Mehedi F — Google review
Masha Allah. Unforgettable experience. One of the most historical mosques in Madinah near the Nabawi Mosque. Nice! With two other mosques nearby, the mosque of Ali bin Abi Thalib and the mosque of Abu Bakr.

The mosque of Al Ghamama is another historically significant mosque in Madinah. It's situated southwest of Masjid e Nabawi and was where the Holy Prophet (PBUH) led Eid prayers, a funeral prayer in absentia for Najashi who was the Abyssinian king who gave early Muslims refuge and a prayer for rain. Clouds appeared after this prayer giving this mosque its current name. It was built originally by Umar ibn Abdul Aziz and has been restored using the volcanic basalt rock native to the hills around Madinah giving it a historic feel. It is open for daily prayers.

The Cave of Bani Haram, situated in the northwest of the Prophet's Mosque, holds great historical significance as it was a crucial location during the Battle of Trench. This cave played a pivotal role in providing shelter to the Prophet Muhammad and served as a place for him to pray and seek refuge during this intense battle. Visitors can immerse themselves in the ancient cultural and historical events that unfolded at this site, offering a unique opportunity to connect with Islamic history.
8/2/25, Saturday, 9am: Gua Sajadah (also known as Gua Bani Haram or Gharr Al Sajdah), though it is not as widely documented as other Islamic historical sites. It is a cave in Bukit Sa'la (also spelled Jabal Sela) near Masjid Nabawi in Madinah, Saudi Arabia. What is Gua Sajadah? Gua Sajadah is believed to be a place where Rasulullah SAW prayed, sought solitude, and reflected. It is most famous for the event during the Battle of Khandaq when Muaz Ibn Jabal found Rasulullah SAW in deep, prolonged sujood, leading him to fear that the Prophet had passed away. According to the story, Rasulullah SAW was in sujood after receiving a message from Angel Jibrail (Gabriel), who conveyed Allah’s greetings and asked what he wished for his ummah. The Prophet’s response, "Allah knows best," was followed by Jibrail returning with the reassurance that Allah would not forsake or disappoint him regarding his followers. In gratitude, Rasulullah SAW performed sujood for an extended time, which Muaz mistook for death. Historical & Religious Significance Connection to the Battle of Khandaq – The cave served as a resting and prayer place for Rasulullah SAW during the Ghazwah al-Khandaq (Battle of the Trench) in 627 CE. This battle was crucial in Islamic history, as it was when the Muslims defended Madinah by digging a trench to prevent the Quraysh and allied tribes from attacking. A Place of Deep Worship – The prolonged sujood symbolizes extreme humility and gratitude to Allah. The story highlights how Rasulullah SAW always turned to Allah in times of distress and joy. Spiritual Landmark – Though less known than Jabal Nur (where Hira Cave is located) or Jabal Thawr (which contains the cave where Rasulullah SAW and Abu Bakr hid during Hijrah), Gua Sajadah holds deep significance for those who know its story. Current Status Unlike other well-known Islamic historical sites, Gua Sajadah is not heavily promoted as a tourist or religious site. Over time, its location near Masjid Nabawi has become harder to access due to urban development. Some reports suggest the cave is now within restricted or private areas, making it difficult for visitors to reach. Alhamdulillah, at the time of our visit, the place was accessible despite a signage inducating that the place us inside military zone . There were also not too many visitors. #healing

Cave Bani Haram This small structure is where a cave existed on the western side of Mount Sila. It’s known as the Bani Haram cave and also as the Cave of Prostration due to the incident mentioned below. Muadh-bin-Jabal (رضي الله عنه) was once looking for the Prophet (ﷺ) and kept enquiring after his whereabouts until he finally found him in prostration in the above cave. The Prophet (ﷺ) remained in prostration for a long time, then said, “Jibraeel came to me and said, ‘Allah, Blessed and Exalted is He, gives you His salam and says to you, “How would you like me to treat your community?’” I said, ‘Allah knows best!’ So he went, then returned saying, ‘He says to you, ”I shall never distress you on account of your community.’” So I prostrated myself, for the best that a slave can do to draw nearer to God is prostration.” [Al-Haytami, Majma al-Zawaid] the Prophet (ﷺ) is said to have spent some nights in this cave during the Battle of Khandaq, for it was away from the front line.

Its a very beautiful and neat shopping mall. We can spend our free time here. Because it’s very beautiful and also lots of shops are available inside including carrefour and different branded shops. Top floor is available only for food court and different games for children. There is a big area for dining is available. There is a artificial pool and Ship are settled in the basement. The view of that pool and ships from escalator will give you a nice experience. Still they are following covid protocols. There is a big parking area available outside.

A visit to the King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Holy Qur'an in Madinah is less a typical factory tour and more a profound, eye-opening spiritual experience. This vast institution is the world's largest facility dedicated to printing the Holy Qur'an, embodying the Kingdom's deep commitment to preserving and distributing Allah's word globally. The Experience and Atmosphere The atmosphere inside is one of reverence and quiet dedication. Visitors are guided through the different stages of production, from the initial digital composition (using the famous Uthmani script penned by calligrapher Uthman Taha) to the printing, binding, and final packaging. While you view the process from viewing platforms, the sight of millions of copies being prepared for distribution worldwide is incredibly moving and inspiring. It deepens your appreciation for the rigorous scholarly review (each copy is checked over 200 times) that ensures absolute textual accuracy. Value and Takeaway Beyond witnessing the advanced technology and meticulous process, the best part is the generosity of the institution. Every visitor, pilgrim or otherwise, receives a complimentary copy of the Holy Qur'an upon leaving, a truly blessed gift. This factory show you processing to printing Al Quran, They gave 1 Quran for 1 visitor. if you come with your group tour will be fine but if you want to come by taxi I would recommended to take for round trip because this place is outside city and there haven't taxi service around there. When you order taxi please make sure you bargain the price correct. Take time about 30 minutes from mosques Al Nabawi to this place. Not many driver understand in English and understand where you want to go.

Mosque
Nestled in a sprawling complex adorned with lush trees, the Dhul Hulaifah Miqat Mosque, also known as Shigarh Mosque or Abyar Ali Mosque, stands out as a significant landmark in Madinah. Spanning an impressive 6000 square meters, this mosque is steeped in history and tradition. It marks the last stop of Prophet Muhammad before embarking on his Umrah journey after signing a peace treaty.
Miqat Dhu al-Hulayfah, also known as Abyar Ali, is the designated miqat (station for assuming Ihram) for pilgrims traveling from or through Madinah to perform Hajj or Umrah. It is located approximately 11 kilometers southwest of the Prophet’s Mosque (Masjid an-Nabawi) in Madinah. This miqat is the farthest of all the miqats from Makkah, about 450 kilometers away. It holds great historical and religious significance as it was the miqat chosen by the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) when he traveled for pilgrimage. Today, it features a large mosque with modern facilities, including ablution areas, changing rooms, and spaces for donning the Ihram garments. The area is well-maintained and organized to support the large number of pilgrims passing through each year.
Navid W — Google review
"Awe-inspiring doesn't even begin to describe this masjid, the designated miqat where hajis eagerly prepare for Umrah or Hajj by wearing their ihram. The immaculate surroundings and stunning architecture are truly divine."
Mustafa Z — Google review
This is Miqat, the designated station where Muslims intending to perform Umrah must make their Niyyah (intention) and wear the Ihram (two white big shawls, one as a bottom like "tehband" and other one as a shawl on the chest). Observing this practice is a Sunnah of the Holy Prophet Muhammad صلی اللّٰه علیہ وسلم (peace be upon him)."
Hamza J — Google review
Dhul Hulaifa, also known as Miqat Abyar Ali, is a sacred and beautifully maintained Miqat located about 9 kilometers from Masjid al-Nabawi in Madinah. This is the Miqat for the people of Madinah and those passing through it intending to perform Hajj or Umrah. The mosque area is vast, peaceful, and well-organized, with separate sections for men and women to change into Ihram. The facilities are clean, and there are plenty of washrooms and ablution areas. Ample parking is also available. It’s a spiritually uplifting place where you truly feel the beginning of your sacred journey toward the House of Allah. اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أُرِيدُ العُمْرَةَ فَيَسِّرْهَا لِي وَتَقَبَّلْهَا مِنِّي "O Allah! I intend to perform Umrah, so make it easy for me and accept it from me." This beautiful supplication is often recited at Dhul Hulaifa Miqat, marking the moment when pilgrims make their niyyah (intention) and enter into Ihram, beginning their blessed journey toward Makkah.
Umair R — Google review
Another major holy site in Madinah where pilgrims enter ihram before going for Umrah. The place is beautiful and very well maintained, with all necessary facilities available, making it convenient for everyone.
Jaseem M — Google review
This is the Miqat for those traveling from Madinah to Mecca for Umrah. Masha Allah...! Lots of washrooms for getting fresh and taking a bath for wearing Ihram dress is there. Even if you didn't wear ihram from home, there is well maintained, clean and neat washrooms.
Raeez M — Google review
Dhul Hulaifa Miqaat Mosque, also known as Masjid al-Shajarah, is a very special and peaceful place located about 10 kilometers from Madinah. It is the miqaat point for pilgrims who start their journey for Umrah or Hajj from Madinah. Every person traveling from Madinah towards Makkah stops here to make niyyah (intention) and wear ihram before entering the holy boundary. The mosque is large, clean, and beautifully maintained. It has spacious areas for men and women, with proper arrangements for wudu and changing into ihram. The facilities are modern, and the air conditioning keeps the inside cool and comfortable even during hot days. There are clear signboards in Arabic and English that help visitors understand where to go and what to do. The surroundings are calm and full of spiritual feeling. Standing there, one can truly feel the beginning of a sacred journey. The management ensures the mosque and washrooms are kept clean, and there are shops nearby where pilgrims can buy ihram clothes, belts, and other essentials. Overall, Dhul Hulaifa Miqaat Mosque is a well-organized and blessed place. It is not only a historical landmark but also a reminder of the beautiful Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), who himself started his ihram from this very spot. Visiting it is a peaceful and meaningful experience for every pilgrim.

When exploring the spiritual heart of Madina, a visit to Al-Ghars Well is an absolute must. Nestled near the serene Garden of Salman Al-Farsi, this historic water source holds deep significance as it is believed that Prophet Muhammad drank from its waters and even requested to be bathed in them after his passing. The well, which was dug by Malik Bin Al-Nahhat, has been secured with a sturdy metallic grill for safety.
I have visited many time but I recently visit I saw that now this is place is renovated and make it more attractive... Like the make entrance with check point ....to check if you have empty bottles if yes they they will take it from you as it is not allowed, only the difference is from before is to take the water in big quantities u have to buy soul bottle , water is free, but if u want still free more water then when the person during the route will give you plastic glass asl him extra glasses so you can fill all glasses and then take it out then fill in your water bottle in the car, if need more then go back and do it again....but if there is rush then some time this process take 10min to 15min or more due to waiting inside and outside the entrance.

Ghars Well is one of the historical prophetic wells in Medina. It was named after the lush greenery that surrounded it, consisting of trees and date palm shoots (ghars). The well is located in the Al-Aalia area, approximately 3 kilometers south of the Prophet's Mosque. This well stands as a testament to the virtues of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), his noble position, and his immense contribution to humanity, as he dedicated his entire life so that all people, without exception, may attain happiness in both this world and the hereafter
Nayab M — Google review
Ghars Well is one of the most blessed and historically significant wells in Madinah. This is the well whose water was used to wash the blessed body of our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ after his passing. Visiting this sacred place fills the heart with deep love and connection to the Prophet ﷺ and the early days of Islam. The Prophet ﷺ said: "نِعْمَ الْبِئْرُ بِئْرُ غَرْسٍ، وَهِيَ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ" "What a good well Ghars is, it is one of the wells of Paradise." (Reference: Ibn Mājah, Hadith 3083) The well is located in the serene area of Madinah, and though it’s preserved and not accessible for public water use, standing near it brings immense spiritual peace and reflection. Truly a must-visit for anyone who loves the Prophet ﷺ and wishes to connect with the history of Madinah al-Munawwarah.

Ber e ghars best well in madine tul munawara Prophet Muhammad's Connection: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) drank from its water and performed ablution (Wudu) with it. He is reported to have praised its water for its freshness. He is said to have instructed his companion, Ali ibn Abi Talib (R.A.), to wash his body after his demise with seven waterskins of water taken from the Ghars Well. (This instruction relates directly to the incomplete quote you originally provided, which was likely referencing this event). Location: It is located in the Al-Awali neighborhood of Madinah, relatively close to Masjid Quba (about 1.5 km to the northeast). Historical Status: The well was dug by Malik ibn al-Nahhat during the time of the Prophet. It is sometimes referred to as one of the Wells of Paradise (Jannat ka Kuwan) in local tradition. It is a significant landmark and a popular stop for pilgrims and visitors to Madinah.

A historic prophetic well in Madinah, known for its pure and fresh water. This is the well from which water was used to wash the blessed body of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, as per his will to Ali Ibn Abi Talib (رضي الله عنه). The well is about 5m wide and 11m deep, built with black volcanic stones, and is located nearly 3 km south of the Prophet’s Mosque. ➡️ Entry is free. Visitors can drink water from taps connected to the well (not directly from the well). Bottles are not allowed inside to take water out. A must-visit site full of spiritual significance.

Most important. It's closed by 9 am. Please confirm the timings before the visit. Very cold water and refreshing but you are not allowed to bring your own bottles, they will take your bottles on enterence and sell their own traditional bottles. I put the QR code for assistance and in details information. Entry is free, but visitors note there may be a 15–30 minute wait, and security restricts filling bottles directly, though water dispensers exist onsite . 📍Location & Access Located at 6539 Ali Ibn Abi Talib Street, Qurban, Madinah 42316, Saudi Arabia . Approximately 1,500 m northeast of Quba Mosque, in the Al‑Awali neighbourhood along Qurban Road . Visiting Hours: Typically open daily from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM (some sources say 9 PM closing) with breaks midday and early evening . 🛖 Story of Prophet Suleiman (Suleman) and Farming You asked for a memorable and positive farming story involving Prophet Suleman (Solomon). Here's a well-known inspirational account: 🌾 The Wise Farmer and King Suleman Once, Prophet Solomon (Sulayman ﷺ) was travelling with his grand caravan. They passed a farmer toiling under the sun. Allah inspired Solomon to stop and ask the man what he intended to say. The farmer shared that while Solomon is responsible for all in his kingdom, he himself is only accountable to Allah for his own deeds—and this brought him inner peace. Solomon responded: “You are right.” . Lesson: True contentment lies in fulfilling one’s personal responsibilities—not being burdened by what does not belong to us. It beautifully illustrates humility, reflection, self-accountability, and partnership with Allah in good deeds. 🧑‍🌾 Other Agrarian Lessons in Islamic Teachings A notable Hadith in Sahih al‑Bukhari describes a man in Jannah asking to cultivate land. Allah grants him permission, and within an instant, his harvest grows into mountains of produce. Yet Allah reminds him: “Nothing satisfies you.” This underscores the eternal nature of human desire—even in paradise . Companions such as Umar ibn al‑Khattab are reported to have personally engaged in farming, encouraging self-sufficiency and meaningful labour in Allah’s cause . 📝 Summary Table Topic Key Points free entry but with some queueing and water restrictions Farming Story Solomon meets a humble farmer who finds peace in focusing on personal accountability Prophetic Farming Theme Cultivation is praised in both Hadith and Companions’ practice—reflecting reward in sincere, purposeful work

Well of Uthman bin Affan Radi Allahu Anhu (بئر عثمان بن عفان رضي الله عنه) or Well of Roma (بئر روما) is a well in Madinah Al-Munawarah (المدينة المنورة) since 1400 years ago in the North West of Prophet’s Mosque (المسجد النبوي الشريف) in a small area of Al-Aqeeq, still irrigating the city’s inhabitant with it’s water and surrounding farm that consist of 100 meters and more than 1500 palm trees. It is famous after the migration of our Beloved Prophet Peace Be Upon Him (نبينا الحبيب صلى الله عليه وسلم) when people of the city found that all the other sources of water dried except Roma Well. To get the water people has to pay the owner who was a Jew named Romat Al-Ghiffari (روما الغفاري) from Ghaffari tribe; the payment was not possible for many residents those days. Our Last Prophet Peach Be Upon Him (خاتم الأنبياء صلى الله عليه وسلم) speech that whoever buy the Roma well will be granted paradise, incited Uthman bin Affan RA (عثمان بن عفان رضي الله عنه) the third Caliph of the Prophet Peace Be Upon Him (الخليفة الثالث للنبي صلى الله عليه وسلم) to buy and free of charge public endowment. He offered to buy the well, but owner refused and mentioned that he is dependent on the earning from the well. Then Uthman bin Affan RA (عثمان بن عفان رضي الله عنه) offered to buy half of the well with an agreement that each one fetch on alternate day. The owner knows Uthman bin Affan RA (عثمان بن عفان رضي الله عنه) as a successful businessman, agreed him as his business partner that could increase his sales. Uthman bin Affan RA (عثمان بن عفان رضي الله عنه) paid a heavy price for the half well that is around Dirham 18,000 (silver coins) and opened it for the Sake of Allah allowing people to fetch according to their requirement. The people fetched two days supply on the turn of Uthman bin Affan RA (عثمان بن عفان رضي الله عنه) and no one purchase on the Roma’s turn. Then Roma offered Uthman bin Affan RA (عثمان بن عفان رضي الله عنه) to purchase the remaining half ownership in Dirham 20,000 (silver coins), so kind Uthman bin Affan RA (عثمان بن عفان رضي الله عنه) he accepted the offer without any negotiation, even known that there is no worth of the remaining ownership. It is mentioned at some sources the total price of the well as Dirhams 38,000 (silver coins). The story of Well of Uthman bin Affan RA (عثمان بن عفان رضي الله عنه) has no end, since the purchase till the current period it is charitable and kept for free use. The palms harvested in surroundings were used for charity purpose. A never ending story of a charity that is continue since 14 centuries.

The fortress of Kaab bin Ashraf Bani Ka'b ibn al-Ashraf built this fort so that he would be protected from enemies, so that this fortress would serve as a place to resort to in the event of war and emergency. This historic place did not witness any excavation or excavation of the hidden monuments beneath it since the Jews of Bani Nadeer left Medina. The length of the fort is about 33 meters, and the height of the walls is four meters, and its thickness is meters, built with huge stones, joined together. And the sides of the fortress from the inside ten different rooms of the measure, and the top is destroyed.

These are the remains of the fort of Ka’b bin Ashraf, an extremely wealthy Jewish poet who stirred up great hatred for the Prophet (ﷺ) and the Muslims. He was killed here in 3 A.H. on the orders of the Prophet (ﷺ).

A place to learn the lesson that the end of disbelieversis not good. This guy Kaab Bin Ashraf used foul language against the prophet Muhammad PBUH and Muslim men and women in general. He conspired and went to Makkah to encourage the polytheists to wage war against the muslims and vowed his support. The companions when they heard about it decided to kill him. 2 companions with prophet's permission became close friends of Kaab and one night came to his fort, called him out and asked to smell the nice perfume he was wearing. As he drew close, one companion held his head by the hair and the other slit his throat. Kaab's wife had warned him not to answer the call of the two companions the night they called him out to kill him.

I witnessed These ruins and remains of the Fort Kaab bin Ashraf, who was a wealthy jew poet in the time of Prophet Mohamad SAWW. There can be seen the fort external and internal walls, rooms and abandoned structure of the fort. The place gives a fearful thought at first sighting. The black rocky stone was used to construct this structure.

Wouldnt suggest to visit. There are more better areas n locations to visit. This is just one of the many to go. The exhibits are now just remnants of houses and u cant enter. There are many other locations that can be visited to learn about our religion n prophet's journey. And this place is not worth the journey to enter. If u are a tourist, pls make sure that you still respect the place by not littering/vandalizing. As a summary, do skip this place ya Cheers!!

Jabal Ayr, located in the city of Medina, offers a stunning panoramic view of the city from its mountain top. Visitors can reach the summit by embarking on a hike or using a 4x4 vehicle due to the unpaved road with steep ascents and descents. It is advised to use 4 low for both ascending and descending, while also engaging engine braking during descent for safety.
It's a nice place, gives you a bird eye view of Madinah city from mountain top. You can hike to the top or visit by a 4x4 vehicle. Road is unpaved, Forget about going by car as you will damage it, go by proper 4x4 with reasonable ground clearance. Road ascent and descent is pretty steep, use 4 low for going up and coming down as well, while coming down in 4 low use 1 gear to provide engine braking as conventional brakes could overheat quickly and fail. Be safe and enjoy.

The experience was pleasant and the reception was welcoming, but the road is somewhat rough and needs improvement still newly opened . However, the view from the top overlooking the city and the Holy Mosque is beautiful, especially in winter when the weather is nice. Entree fee 25 online and then 25 at the reception so 50 SAR

I went to see this mountain with my husband, we are not even sure why we decided to go up other than we thought we would learn more about the mountain the day it was suggested to us. As soon as we came in to book a ticket the man who spoke to us was kind however we asked him for information about the mountain he only spoke about the height he never mentioned the Hadiths of the mountain (interesting). the lady collecting the payment from my husband was incredibly arrogant and rude. when we paid 50 riyal each to go up we realised it was a waste of money and boring, the staff mentioned when we go to the top we can spend 200 more riyals to drink coffee (we did not come to sit and drink coffee we came to learn about the mountain). When we reached the top I felt the ambiance a lot of people were angry looking and I can understand why. The Hadith mentions this mountain is the opposite of Jabal Uhud the gate of hell it hates us and we are supposed to hate it so why in the world are people chilling at the top of the hated mountain relaxing/ drinking coffee and tea. There is a reason we did not see international visitors there and why the ambiance feels as if the hated mountain has made the staff miserable. please avoid going to this mountain I learnt my lesson visit uhud (mountain which loves us) instead.

A Mountain of Steadfastness and Faith Jabal Sela in Madinah is far more than a historical landmark; it is a profound testament to the steadfastness of the early Muslim community. Walking the slopes of this blessed mountain, where the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and his noble Companions stood firm during the harrowing days of the Battle of the Trench, fills the heart with awe and spiritual energy. I recently had the immense privilege of visiting (a month ago), and the feeling of Sakinah (tranquility) that descends upon you here is palpable. It is a moment to connect deeply with the sacrifices made by those before us and to contemplate the Divine Help that secured the victory of Islam. The very ground seems to whisper tales of patience, prayer, and unwavering belief. For every believer performing Ziyarat in Madinah, a visit to Jabal Sela is essential. It is a powerful reminder that with patience, devotion, and collective unity, Allah grants victory. May Allah accept the efforts of all who visit and strengthen our faith through this inspiring place. May we be counted among those who follow in their footsteps.

Situated to the southeast of the Prophet's Mosque in Medina, in today's Saudi Arabia, Jannat al-Baqīʿ—also referred to as Baqīʿ al-Gharqad—serves as the earliest Islamic burial ground in the Hejazi region. This cemetery is home to the graves of several of Prophet Muhammad's family (PBUH) members and close associates. Given its unique standing as the final resting place of many figures closely tied to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), the site is esteemed as one of the two most sacred cemeteries in the Islamic faith. Jannat al-Baqi, also known as Baqi al-Gharqad, is a historic cemetery located in Medina, Saudi Arabia. Its history is deeply intertwined with the early Islamic period and holds significant religious importance for Muslims. The cemetery gained prominence during the time of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) as it became the final resting place for many of his companions and family members. Some of the Prophet's closest companions, such as Osman ibn Affan, Aisha bint Abi Bakr, and many others, are buried here. One of the most notable burials in Jannat al-Baqi is that of Imam Hasan ibn Ali, the grandson of the Prophet Muhammad, and other members of the Prophet's family. These graves are a source of reverence and reflection for Shia Muslims, who hold a special connection to the descendants of the Prophet. Over the centuries, Jannat al-Baqi has witnessed several expansions and renovations. During the reign of the Abbasid Caliphs, the cemetery was further developed and landscaped to create a peaceful and serene environment for the deceased. However, one of the most tragic and controversial events in the history of Jannat al-Baqi occurred in the early 20th century. In 1925, the Saudi government, under King Ibn Saud, ordered the demolition of many of the structures and tombstones in the cemetery. This act sparked outrage among Muslims worldwide, as it led to the loss of countless historical and religious artifacts. To this day, the cemetery remains a simple, open space with minimal structures. Despite this, Jannat al-Baqi continues to be a place of great significance for Muslims, who visit to offer prayers, recite Quranic verses, and pay their respects to the prominent figures buried there. The history of Jannat al-Baqi serves as a testament to the rich heritage and profound religious devotion of the Muslim community, honoring the memories of those who played pivotal roles in the early days of Islam.

Masjid Abu Bakr Siddeeq RA, located in Medina, Saudi Arabia, is a historically significant mosque named after Abu Bakr al-Siddique, the first caliph of Islam. Situated about 5 kilometers from Masjid al-Nabawi, it is believed to be built on the site of his first house after migrating to Medina. The current structure dates back to the Ottoman period and has been renovated over the centuries.
We felt tranquility surrounding this historical mosque, beautiful and reflect peaceful within.

It's a small mosque near the Zamzam Water Collection Gate, also known as Gate 310 of the Prophet's Mosque (Al Nabawi). It is historically significant, as it is named after Abu Bakr, the first Caliph of Islam, who also offered Eid prayers in the spot as the Prophet ﷺ, following tradition. Masjid Al Ghamamah is very close to it. Many individuals get confused, and the simplest way to differentiate is that Al Ghamamah has multiple mid-sized domes, whereas Abu Bakar only has one large dome. A few pigeons from the mosque of Al Ghamamah also fly around here. You can sit on the surrounding tree-adjacent seating places and spend some time in the afternoon as well.

Masjid Abu Bakr is a small yet historically significant mosque located near the Zamzam Water Collection Gate (Gate 310) of the Prophet’s Mosque (Al-Masjid An-Nabawi). It is named after Abu Bakr (RA), the first Caliph of Islam, who continued the Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ by offering his Eid prayers at this very spot. Nearby, you’ll also find Masjid Al-Ghamamah, which often causes a bit of confusion among visitors. A simple way to tell them apart: Masjid Al-Ghamamah has several medium-sized domes, while Masjid Abu Bakr features just one large dome. You can often see a few pigeons from Al-Ghamamah flying around here, adding to the calm and spiritual atmosphere. There are also comfortable seating areas under the nearby trees — a lovely place to relax, reflect, and enjoy a peaceful afternoon.

Masjid Abu Bakr As-Siddeeq is a small but very meaningful mosque close to Al-Masjid an-Nabawi. It is named after the first Caliph of Islam and the closest companion of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. The mosque is simple and quiet, but its connection to Abu Bakr gives it great value. Many people stop by to pray, reflect, and remember his closeness to the Prophet ﷺ. It is usually not as crowded as the larger mosques, so it feels peaceful.

Masjid Abu Bakr (مسجد أبو بكر الصديق) in Medina, Saudi Arabia, is a small but historically significant mosque located in the southwestern part of the Prophet's Mosque (Al-Masjid an-Nabawi). It’s also known as Masjid Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq. Key Facts About Masjid Abu Bakr: Historical Importance: It is believed that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) used to offer Eid prayers at this location. Later, Abu Bakr As-Siddiq, the first Caliph of Islam and close companion of the Prophet, continued this tradition, which is why the mosque bears his name.
Suad T — Google review
It was a site where the Prophet Muhammad (SW) used to offer Eid prayers and the same tradition was continued by Abu Bakr Siddique (R). Following the Prophet (SW) passing, Abu Bakr Siddique (R) continued to lead Eid prayers at this location during his caliphate, leading to the mosque being named after him.

We visited the Museum of the Prophet’s Biography in Madinah yesterday, right next to the Prophet’s Mosque, and it was an amazing experience. I've gone here more than three times now! Prices are decent and the food portion size is good. The food is also pretty good with a Western breakfast selection. I appreciate how helpful the waiters are and how there's no music or they'll turn it off at your request. It feels nice to be able to enjoy your meal and talk to person in front of you without blasting music. No complaints really. Only the furniture is a bit antique like perhaps that's the theme so some appear old/unclean. Also, once I put in an order (was not entirely crowded) and waited a while only to be told they ran out and to select something else. Thankfully, only happened once and I was able to order without any issues the following visits. I would return again.

A Disappointing Experience Despite the Beautiful Setting. Me and my wife visited this restaurant in Madinah after seeing the positive reviews and beautiful aesthetics on Google, thinking that an intercontinental menu would ensure a satisfying meal. There's no doubt that the place is visually stunning. We ordered the steak omelette and the veggie omelette, with a side of chipotle mayo to add some extra flavor. Unfortunately, both omelettes were overly salty due to the excessive American cheese. This made them the saltiest dishes we've had in Madinah so far. The chipotle mayo (4SAR side order) helped a bit, but not enough. The steak in my omelette was also quite chewy, and I would suggest cooking it a little less next time. The biggest disappointment came with the "karak chai." As a Pakistani, this drink is a staple of my culture. Upon receiving it, I noticed powdered milk, which was already a red flag. The chai was overly sweet, so I requested one without sugar. The staff member argued that this is how they make their chai, and even suggested I make my own tea with Red Label. He repeatedly mentioned that the chai had already been served and I would be charged for it, despite me stating that I had no problem paying, but just wanted one without sugar. His frustration was evident, and he seemed angry throughout our interaction, which was very disappointing. In the end, we paid the bill and left, feeling that while they got the aesthetics right, they completely missed the mark on customer service and the quality of the food.

The Anbariya Mosque (Arabic: مسجد العنبرية, romanized: Masjid al-‘Anbarīyah; Turkish: Amberiye Mescidi), also known as the Hamidiye Mosque, is a mosque built by the Ottoman Turks in Medina, which is nowadays part of Saudi Arabia. It is named after the Anbariya Gate, next to which the mosque was located. It was closed when we visited so couldn't take photos from inside. And it doesn't seem to be well taken care of!

Historical place
The House of Syeda Fatima bint al-Husayn, situated in Madinah, holds great historical and religious significance as it was the residence of the granddaughter of Imam Ali and daughter of Imam Husayn. This sacred site is a symbol of the Ahlul Bayt's contribution to Islamic history and knowledge. Visitors are drawn to this place not only for its spiritual aura but also to explore its rich cultural and historical importance.
Visiting the house of **Sayyida Fatima al-Zahra (رضي الله عنها)**, the beloved daughter of Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), near **Umar bin Khattab Road in Madinah**, is an incredibly moving experience for any Muslim. This sacred site holds deep historical and spiritual significance, as it was the home of **Sayyida Fatima** and her husband, **Imam Ali (رضي الله عنهما)**, where they raised their children, including **Imam Hasan and Imam Hussain (رضي الله عنهم)**—the noble figures of Islam. Standing there, you feel a profound connection to the **Ahl al-Bayt** (the Prophet’s family) and their sacrifices for Islam. Though the original structure no longer exists, the location serves as a reminder of their simple, pious lives. Many visitors are overwhelmed with emotion, reflecting on **Sayyida Fatima’s** devotion, patience, and her close bond with the Prophet (ﷺ). May Allah bless us to follow the footsteps of these righteous souls! 🤲💖

It's the house of daughter of Prophet Muhammad (saw), Mother of Imam Hassan and Imaam Hussain and wife of Hazrat Ali (as) Bibi Fatima (RA).
Abdullah S — Google review
Unlike what's mentioned in several reviews, this is the house of Fatima as Sughra (ra), the daughter of Imam Hussain (as), not the house of Fatima as Zahra (sa), the daughter of RasulAllah (saw) which was adjacent to the original Masjid Nabawi and is not marked in the grounds of the Haram currently. It was built away from the city due to the political circumstances of the time and includes a well from which Fatima as Sughra (ra) would provide water to travelers. She was a very pious person who ended up marrying Hasan Al Muthana (ra), one of the sons of Imam Hassan (as). According to some traditions, this is one of the spots where the Ahl ul Bayt stopped to mourn after returning to Madina from the court of Yazid in Damascus following the battle of Karbala. This site should be preserved and at the very least turned into a museum in the future.
Taha Z — Google review
It is preserved by Saudi Heritage department by fencing the complex. It required development and deployment of guides. Other amenities also to be placed on ground like water and restrooms.

The house of Syeda Fatima (R.A.) in Madinah is not just a place, it is a chapter of Islamic history filled with both light and sorrow. This sacred home belonged to the beloved daughter of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, where moments of love, sacrifice, and devotion to Allah were lived. After the Prophet ﷺ left this world, this house became a witness to deep trials and injustices. It is narrated that great zulm befell the Ahl-e-Bayt here, and Syeda Fatima (R.A.) often wept due to the pain and grief she endured. Standing at this blessed place reminds us of her patience, purity, and strength, and at the same time fills the heart with sadness for the hardships faced by the family of the Prophet ﷺ. Truly, this house is a symbol of both honor and tragedy in Islamic history.

Alhamdulillah I had a chance to visit the blessed Rawda of Prophet Muhammad SAW PBUH. It was crowded but worth the wait. This jiyarat will bring tears in your eyes. Please read the follow carefully. Few important tips: 1) keep refreshing your app every hour (specially at midnight) to get appointment 2) They don’t allow entry more than 30 minutes before. So be there like 45 mins before, so that you can be on line before 30 mins or so. 3) The line is long, but stay calm and walk inside calmly. Keep reciting Salawat to Rasul SAW. 4) Women don’t get to see the Rawda from very close. You will see it from a little bit far behind the barriers. Say Salam to Rasul SAW when you are in line standing. Remember he is in there as “Hayatun Nabi” alive in Barzakh life and replies to each of our Salam. So be mindful of that when you enter. 5) 2 rakah of Salah in riyadul jannah - I could pray only 6 rakah within 6/7 minutes real quick in 3 spots. I plan on going there again إن شى الله. May Allah give us all a chance to jiyarat the rawda mubarak.

Established in 1961, it offers a wide range of study programs across nine colleges and an institute. The university follows the Salafi ideology and aims to spread Islam's message through education and campaigning.
Visit to the Islamic University of Madinah (IU Madinah) must have been an unforgettable experience, especially since it was a long-cherished dream from your high school days. The university holds a special place in the hearts of many students worldwide as a center of Islamic knowledge and scholarship. Being able to visit this prestigious institution during Umrah trip makes it even more meaningful. Meeting your high school friends there must have been a moment of joy and nostalgia—recalling past memories while standing in a place that once seemed so distant. IU Madinah is not just an academic institution; it is a place where students from all over the world come together to seek Islamic knowledge and higher education in Shariah, Hadith, Quran, and Arabic studies. Walking through its campus, seeing its libraries, classrooms, and Masjid, must have been an inspiring experience. Moments like this remind us how beautifully Allah (SWT) plans our journey. The university campus is huge with no clear guidance on how to get to specific places on the campus. The interiors is disgusting for some of the building such as the Arabic Language school the inside of the building was absolutely disgusting there was literal pigeons nesting inside the hallway on top of a wall protrusion and the protrusion and the wall below was covered in bird feces there is a tv monitor hanging from the roof in the hallway as well it's caked in months of bird feces. , inside the indoor court yard where the cafe is where students can purchase food and drinks it's just as disgusting if not more the tables are littered with garbage as is the ground students and staff alike make no attempt to pick up their trash after they eat and cleaning staff basically just knock the trash off the tables onto the ground. The staff were very abrasive and rude they walk around and interact with students with an air of superiority as if doing their jobs and teaching is something beneath them in my years on this earth I have visited many university campuses never have I experienced once where the staff made me feel as if they have a disdain towards me and others.

This site is associated with Salman Al Farsi (ra), one of the earliest and closest companions of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). It contains a small museum with posters, a well and a spot where Salman (ra) is said to have prayed along with nearby date farms which are a visual reminder of how things were here back in time. The site is located on the Ali ibn Abi Talib (as) road. The word Fuqair in its name comes from the word Tafqeer which means to dig a hole to plant a date seedling. This is associated with the miracle of the Prophet (PBUH) which led to the freedom of Salman (ra). He had been advised by a monk to go to a land with palm trees as that's where a prophet would emerge. He left his native Persia and eventually ended up as a slave to a Jew in Madinah. When Salman (ra) accepted Islam and asked for his freedom, the Jew asked for 300 (in some traditions 500) date seedlings to be planted and bear fruit in return (as well as an amount of gold in some traditions). Salman (ra) went back to the Prophet (PBUH) with this who asked Salman (ra) to get the terms in writing so that the Jew does not renege on his agreement. Once that was done, he asked Salman (ra) to bring the seeds and gave them to Hazrat Ali (as). Together they went to the farm. The Prophet (PBUH) would dig a hole (do Tafqeer), ask Salman (ra) to plant the seed and then cover it up. As soon as he did this, water would spring up to allow the seed to germinate and take root. In this way, the trees were all planted and eventually bore fruit which allowed Salman (ra) to be freed from the slavery of the Jew. In the traditions which talk about the Jew also demanding a quantity of gold, the Prophet (PBUH) lifted a stone which turned to the amount of gold demanded. He then gave it to secure Salman's (ra) freedom. Sites like this remind us of the power of Allah and that He will provide us a way out of our troubles if we trust in Him and seek proximity to Him alone.

Spiritual place .. Salman Farsi (Persian: سلمان فارسی; Arabic: سَلْمَان ٱلْفَارِسِيّ) was a Persian religious scholar and one of the companions of Muhammad. As a practicing Zoroastrian, he dedicated much of his early life to studying to become a magus, after which he began travelling extensively throughout Western Asia to engage in constructive dialogue with non-Zoroastrian groups. His quests eventually prompted his conversion to Christianity and later his conversion to Islam, which occurred after he met and befriended Muhammad in the city of Yathrib. He was a prominent non-Arab companion and one of Muhammad's closest friends; Muhammad had once stated to a gathering of his followers that he regarded Salman as a part of his family.[4] In meetings with the other companions, he was often referred to by the kunya Abu ʿAbdullah. Prior to the Battle of the Trench in 627, Salman suggested to Muhammad and the other early Muslims that a large trench be dug around Yathrib (citing a technique commonly used by the Sasanian army) in order to help defend against the Quraysh, who were marching from Mecca in order to besiege the city.[5] After Muhammad's death in 632, Salman became closely associated with Muhammad's cousin and son-in-law Ali ibn Abi Talib and is claimed to have participated in the Muslim conquest of Persia, aiding the territorial expansion of the Rashidun Caliphate outside of the Arabian Peninsula.[6]

Visited Al-Faqir, a historic site connected to Salman Al-Farsi's legacy! The well, which once supplied water to his gardens, is now dried up, but its significance remains. Our knowledgeable guide shared Salman's inspiring journey from Persia to embracing Islam, highlighting his remarkable path. A concise video summarized his life, and we even enjoyed complimentary Ajwa dates and refreshing water, a thoughtful touch. Despite the well's current state, the experience was enriching, connecting us with the life of this revered companion. 5/5 stars! Would visit again to deepen my understanding of Islamic heritage and appreciate the preserved history. Also there's salman al farsi gardens opposite to it ,where you can buy dates for cheaper than anywhere else.

Historic spot where the Prophet used to shelter after a battle. The cave is not accessible, but the entrance is so narrow that you can stand in the Prophet footsteps. Access to the base of the site is easy, but getting to the cave involves about 100 m climbing over rock. You can park almost right beneath, there's plenty of space there and in the neighbourhood.

The Al-Madina Museum is located in the historic Ottoman train station of Al Hejaz Railway Station in Saudi Arabia. The museum showcases artifacts and relics from the heritage of Al-Madinah, including archaeological collections, visual galleries, and rare images. Approximately 2,000 rare artifacts are on display at the museum that capture the culture and history of Al-Madinah over time.
I had a fantastic time at this museum! It had ancient scriptures, stone writings, Ottoma Era artifacts, Saudi history, and many fascinating Islamic history items. Although there was no air conditioner, making it a bit stuffy, the exhibits were captivating enough to make me forget about it. I recommend bringing your water bottles since there was no drinking water available, and please note that the train station nearby is closed. Despite these small inconveniences, the overall experience was enjoyable. If you have a passion for history, this is the place to be! I especially suggest bringing young kids along, as they will also find the exhibits intriguing. Don't miss out on this museum if you're interested in learning about the rich history of the region.

I went there last week, though for some reason it wasn’t open to the public. Still, this building carries the weight of history. You’ll often see Turks walking around, perhaps searching for the faded light of a past that once stood at the center of attention. It is undeniably historical and holds deep significance. The station is only about a 10-minute walk from Masjid al-Ghamama, and one can easily fit in a visit between Asr and Maghrib.

I visited the Railway Hejaz Museum in 2023, and it was a truly peaceful and fascinating place to explore. The museum is located at the historic Hijaz Railway Station, and it beautifully showcases the rich history of Madinah and the old Ottoman-era railway that once connected this region to distant lands. Inside, I saw many ancient artifacts, preserved stones, and even an old copy of the Holy Qur’an, along with other historical items that tell the story of the city’s heritage and the railway’s importance. The whole atmosphere was calm and reflective a perfect place to appreciate history. Unfortunately, the museum has been closed to the public for the past two years, which is quite disappointing. I really hope it reopens soon, as it’s one of Madinah’s most meaningful and educational sites.

Hejaz Railway Museum is an excellent tourist attraction which is the restoration of the old Ottoman railway station. Opened in 2006, this museum has a grandiose platform that will teleport you to the Ottoman empire times. You must visit the exhibition on the Prophet’s life and take in facts about the artifacts and relics from Medina. It will feel awe-inspiring to know about how people lived prior to and post Islam besides it will also put the Islamic history and culture into perspective.

A true gem of a museum of Islamic history! If you come to Medina for tourism or Umrah, if you are lucky and have a chance come to this Museum. I was able to visit here. The museum contains historically very old important Islamic artifacts, letters, pictures and different pieces of historical timelines. It's probably the most important and worthwhile Islamic museum there is in the World. It's free as well.

Hejaz Railway Station in Medina, Saudi Arabia, is a captivating historical landmark that offers visitors a glimpse into the region's rich history and the evolution of transportation in the Arabian Peninsula. Stepping into the Hejaz Railway Station feels like taking a journey back in time. The station's architecture is a beautiful blend of traditional Arabian design and functional railway infrastructure. Visitors can explore the station's museum, which houses a collection of artifacts, photographs, and exhibits that provide insights into the construction and operation of the Hejaz Railway. The museum effectively narrates the challenges faced during its construction, making it an educational experience for history enthusiasts. However, it's important to note that the Hejaz Railway Station is not just a relic of the past. It serves as a reminder of the region's enduring commitment to its cultural heritage and its role in the global history of transportation.

Masjid al-Areesh marks the site where Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) established a shelter (known as an “areesh” or thatched canopy) during the Battle of Badr. This shelter was constructed for the Prophet to pray and supervise the battle while being protected by his companions. It is believed that he spent time here in intense supplication, asking for Allah’s help and victory for the Muslim army, which was vastly outnumbered by the Quraysh forces. The mosque was later built at this location to commemorate the Prophet’s presence and prayers during this historic event. Though modest in size, Masjid al-Areesh serves as a reminder of the faith, courage, and reliance on Allah that characterized the early Muslim community. Visitors to Badr often stop by Masjid al-Areesh to reflect on the significant lessons of the Battle of Badr — including patience, unity, and divine support — which continue to inspire Muslims to this day.
Imran M — Google review
Masjid Al-Areesh is a beautiful and spiritually significant mosque located in Badr, the historic site of the first battle in Islamic history. This mosque holds great historical and religious value, as it marks the place where Prophet Muhammad ﷺ prayed and made strategic plans during the Battle of Badr. The surrounding area is peaceful, and visiting this masjid gives a deep sense of connection to the early days of Islam. The architecture is simple yet elegant, perfectly reflecting the sacred history of the place. Arabic Verse: "هُنَالِكَ دَعَا النَّبِيُّ ﷺ رَبَّهُ قَائِلًا: اللّهُمَّ أَنْجِزْ لِي مَا وَعَدْتَنِي" Translation: “There, the Prophet ﷺ supplicated to his Lord, saying: ‘O Allah, fulfill for me what You have promised me.’” Standing in Masjid Al-Areesh truly takes you back in time — a reminder of faith, courage, and the divine support that marked the victory at Badr. A must-visit for every Muslim seeking spiritual reflection and historical inspiration.

Masjid Al-Areesh is a small yet historically rich mosque located in the Badr region, the site of the first battle in Islamic history. It is believed to mark the place where Prophet Muhammad ﷺ set up his command tent and prayed before the Battle of Badr. The word “Areesh” means “shelter” or “canopy,” symbolizing the humble structure used during that time. The mosque’s simplicity perfectly captures its deep spiritual and historical significance. Visiting Masjid Al-Areesh offers a moving experience — a reminder of faith, courage, and the divine support that led to victory at Badr. A must-visit for anyone who wishes to connect with the early chapters of Islamic history and feel the tranquility of this sacred site.

The term 'Areesh' refers to shade provided by date palm branches. The mosque is believed to occupy the very ground where the Prophet’s makeshift shelter stood—and where its pulpit (minbar) now stands

This place offers a wonderful combination of entertainment, education, and culture all under one roof. The Museum and Parkl is conveniently located about 3 to 4 minutes from the Rowdah Rasool, making it an ideal spot for families and visitors who want easy access to nearby attractions. The surrounding area is lively and especially the 3rd and 4th floors of the complex, which have with a wide variety of restaurants offering great food options for both adults and children. In addition to dining, there are many shops to buy gifts, essentials, and souvenirs, making it a one stop location for most of your needs during your stay. After completing your prayer, you can easily stop by for a quick bite or spend some time relaxing before the next salah. This convenience is especially beneficial for families with young children. The area also features a museum giving them Kids enjoyable activities while adults rest or shop. Overall, with its great food options, excellent facilities, and prime location close to the Haram, it is a great place for families, especially those traveling with children. You can pray, eat, shop, and enjoyl within a few minutes walking distance.

I recently had the chance to visit the “Story of Creation” exhibition at As-Safiyyah Museum and Garden in Madinah, and it was truly one of the most unique cultural and spiritual experiences I have ever had. The exhibition is beautifully designed to take visitors on a journey starting from the creation of the universe and the heavens, moving through the story of the prophets, and highlighting important stages of human history. What impressed me most was how the entire experience is presented in such an interactive and immersive way. The interior design of the exhibition is stunning. The lighting, sound, and visual effects create a dramatic and emotional atmosphere that makes you feel completely engaged with the story. The displays are not just static information panels – there are 3D models, panoramic screens, and sound effects that make you feel as if you are walking through different stages of history. It’s very well organized, with a clear sequence so you never feel lost. The multilingual narration is a huge advantage, as it makes the exhibition accessible to visitors from around the world. For me, the highlight was the combination of modern technology with a strong spiritual message that leaves you reflecting deeply on the greatness of creation. Overall, I highly recommend visiting this exhibition if you are in Madinah. It is not just a museum, but a powerful and inspiring journey that combines faith, culture, and art in a very impressive way.

We really enjoyed the park and the top floor restaurants. The park is clean, quiet, and well-maintained, perfect for a peaceful walk or family time. The design and decorations of the place are incredible, adding a special touch to the atmosphere. The restaurants upstairs have a nice vibe, comfortable seating, and good views of the city. It’s a calm and refreshing spot to relax away from the city crowds.

Nice enough, however every visitor should join a dedicated tour (there are several tours in different languages available). Since I visited by myself, I have to wait until there was a group so I could jon. And the tour seems only a one-way communication--very little room for the visitors to ask or discuss. And no room for visitors to strolling around by themselves; we have to strictly follow the guide from room to room. Nice place with good installations and strong museum storyline, but not-so-good tour experience.

I recently had the chance to visit this amazing place, and it left a lasting impression on me. The surroundings were beautiful and also rich in history and knowledge. The atmosphere was peaceful, and I left feeling refreshed. Highly recommended for anyone who loves to explore, and appreciate beauty in its purest form.

Really informative and interactive session. The speaker was very clear. Follow their instructions of not videoing the entire session. Short photos and videos are fine but not the whole session. Respect their wishes as the speaker does get tired of repeating this and it interrupts the season for everyone else. When booking your tickets you are given options of which languages to choose from, if I recall correctly English, Arabic and Urdu were offered but there might be more languages on offer. The video sessions in each section are voiced over in Arabic with English subtitles (or your chosen language). It would be great going forward if this could be in the chosen language as well so the children can follow more easily. Only point of improvement would be having a little more time to view the artefacts and contents on display each of the sections. Nevertheless really good experience highly recommended.
Ajhar A — Google review
It was a pretty good tour. Great videos, guides tell stories with loud and clear voices, and the story is meaningful (from our creation until the afterlife). However, in a museum visitor should be able to enjoy the objects in the museum. They put multiple items like rocks, sands, with some informations on it, and also names of prophet with stories on the wall, yet they don’t give visitor enough time to read it. “Let’s go to the next one” always like that. Would be better if visitors get enough time to read and learn all the writings.

The Prophet's Mosque Building Exhibition is a captivating experience that showcases the architectural marvel of one of Islam's holiest sites, Masjid al-Nabawi. Nestled in Medina, this sacred mosque features exquisite traditional Islamic designs that leave visitors in awe. While non-Muslims can explore the area surrounding the mosque and capture stunning photographs from outside its perimeter, entry remains exclusive to Muslims.
It has detailed view of the history of building Al Masjd Al Nabawi, since the beginning when it was just a land, and how the prophet Mohamed Peace Be Upon Him selected the land and how the construction is started with 3D and video demonstration. It is great place and I would recommended for the Masjid Nabawi visitors. Additionally you may visit other museums which nearby such the prophet story which I have added it in a separate review. The exhibition/museum is amazing. The tickets were cheap only 15SAR per person. There's a lot of educational information you get from here and it is very interesting. It is also accomodating to people of all countries. It's worth it. There are also many historical appliances and it's very interesting. The models of the masjid are beautiful and accurate. Just a fun experience overall. At the end you enter a shop where you can buy some models of Masjid Al Haram or Masjid An Nabawi. It's a great place and we had lots of fun.

I found this exhibition so beautiful with lots of information & artefacts I did not know about regarding the architecture aspect of the Prophets (pbuh) mosque and how it expanded over time. The exhibition is located opposite Masjid Al-Nabwi through gate 7 if I remember correctly. Lots of interactive displays to use aswell as headphones provided to listen in 9 different languages as you walk around. There is also a giftshop at the end of the Exhibition which is expensive but which giftshop isn't.
Inam G — Google review
Beautiful exhibition showing the different expansions that has been done on the Prophet's mosque since it's establishment. They also provide headphones to listen to audio descriptions in 9 languages. There are different photos, videos, holographic display, mosque models to see. A good place to learn about the Prophet's mosque. It takes about 30-45 minutes to see this place.

Beautiful exhibition showing the expansions that has been done on the Prophet's (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam)masjid since its establishment. They also provide guide who explain in different languages depending upon the language you have selected at the start. There are different photos, videos, holographic display, Masjid models to see. A good place to learn about the Prophet(Sallallahu alaihi wasallam)masjid. It takes about 30-45 minutes to see this place. Must visit this place when you are in madinah. You can see the utensils, lanterns of that era, replica models of masjid how it was in different periods and also how the old city of madinah looked like. There is also an Mimbar of the Masjid-e-Nabwi which was around 400+ years old. They don't allow 📸 and 📹 of the tour but at the last stop they allow you to take the pictures of the Mimbar. The ticket price for per person is 15 riyal.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Prophet's Mosque Expansion Exhibition in Madinah is an amazing place to visit for anyone who wishes to learn more about the history and development of Masjid al-Nabawi. The exhibition is well organized, with detailed models, rare photographs, and architectural designs showing the expansions from early times until the present day. It provides both spiritual and historical knowledge, making the experience deeply meaningful. The environment is calm and respectful, and the staff are very helpful, offering guidance in multiple languages. Families will find it especially beneficial, as children can also gain knowledge in an engaging way. The location is right next to Masjid al-Nabawi, and the exhibition is wheelchair accessible. I highly recommend this exhibition to all visitors of Madinah. It is a truly enriching experience that adds depth to one’s visit and appreciation of the Prophet’s Mosque.
