Makka Restaurant in Aswan is known for offering the best of Egyptian flavors in a welcoming setting. The restaurant boasts a diverse menu featuring local dishes that keep guests coming back for more. Visitors can expect prompt service and top-notch hospitality from the attentive staff. Despite its reasonable prices, Makka Restaurant never compromises on the quality of its food.
Outstanding place in Aswan. Meat is delicious. Service is very pleasant and quick. Coffee was okay, but make sure you spell out that you need no sugar, if you prefer the coffee this way. Otherwise you'll get it with sugar.

Excellent restaurant near the train station, market and the Nile River. We went there twice during our 2 days in Aswan and loved the variety of grilled dishes we tried. Prices are reasonable, and the staff are friendly and welcoming.
Dieu C — Google review
Very good Egyptian food here. Highly recommend. Must try when you come to Aswan. The most delicious Egyptian restaurant I’ve had during my trip so far
Annie — Google review
Terrible experience. The worst restaurants I have ever been to, the waiters have bad attitude. I understand that it is Ramadan at the moment, but they shouldn't rush us while we are eating, and they try to take the plate away even though we haven't finished everything. It was expensive compared with other Egyptian restaurants. The portions are small, we ordered 3 dishes for 3 of us, which were not enough for any of us, we still needed to Mcdonald's for 2nd meal. If they don't want to serve us or just want to provide the people after Ramadan, they should have told us before we go in.
Scarlett S — Google review
Makka Restaurant in Aswan is a local favorite, popular among both tourists and residents. Located not far from the Corniche, this simple and unpretentious spot offers fantastic food that more than makes up for its lack of fancy decor. The beef legs soup is a standout, rich and flavorful, and the lamb chops are absolutely delicious, as well as molokhea. For a refreshing drink, don't miss the Karkade. If you're in the area, it's definitely worth a visit!
Anastasia T — Google review
The bbq chicken is super good and tender! The meat is not dried! It follows with vegetable and rice. For the vegetables, you can change to molokhia on request. The environment of the restaurant is comfortable.

Today 13 of February our nice guide Hassan bring our group of four persons in that really very good place in centrum of Aswan Perfect starters and main dishes, very tasty all of them and good finish with their no so sweet cream caramel From other side very clean inside including comfortable clean toilet and kind stuff Strongly recommend that place for eating having in mind other no so clean and comfortable places in the city

Restaurant
Nubian Dreams Restaurant & Cafe is a cherished project of a Jamaican family with 50 years of hospitality experience. Situated on Elephantine Island, it offers an authentic Egyptian culinary experience with a variety of local dishes and barbecue options. The traditional Nubian setting provides stunning views of the Nile River, making it an ideal spot for a wholesome meal.
The day before we left Aswan, we happened to come to this small restaurant. The owner and his mother made us a sumptuous meal. It was the most delicious, happy meal we had in Egypt. The owner loves China very much. His small shop is in a great location. The children are swimming in the river. It looks very warm on the Nile. We like everything here, and we hope to meet again.💕
元江 — Google review
Elphantine Island had a really enjoyable chilled out island vibes with farms, interesting small streets and a gorgeous sunset over the water. Was great to have a pre-sunset dinner at Nubian Dream Restaurant overlooking the water. The team was super friendly and welcoming. Zero pressure, rush or upsell. Food was simple and tasty. Very laid back and nice to relax and play a few rounds of Uno after a day of adventuring around in Aswan and beyond.
Esslin T — Google review
I had an incredible experience at Nubian Dreams Restaurant & Cafe. I ordered the camel dish, which was absolutely delicious—flavorful, tender, and perfectly cooked. It was a true taste of local tradition. What truly made the visit special was the service. Mostafa, who attended to me, was not only attentive and professional but also a great connoisseur of traditional Nubian cuisine. He made sure I had a wonderful experience and even took the time to share stories and tips about the island’s tourist spots, adding a personal and cultural touch to the meal. The location of the restaurant is simply magical. Perched on a height overlooking the Nile River, it offers a breathtaking view, especially at sunset. It’s conveniently located right next to the boat terminal, which makes it very accessible for travelers. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with a cozy vibe that makes you want to stay longer and take in the beauty around you. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Nubian food, excellent service, and an unforgettable setting.
Ariel L — Google review
Wonderful experience there. Very nice view on the Nile. Very friendly staff. Delicious food. Very good prices too. Even if the preparation of the dishes takes a little time. Be patient and enjoy the place.
Sisouk B — Google review
Trust me, if you come to Elephant Island, you must visit this restaurant! It’s cheap and delicious. The owner does all the cooking, so it might not be super fast, but the amazing food is absolutely worth the wait! Just order a beer, sit back, enjoy the view of the Nile River, and your mood will instantly brighten up!
Honey F — Google review
Three of us visited here for lunch to relax by the waterside. The view from our table was unobstructed over looking the Nile, the beers were cold, prices were very reasonable, and the food was incredibly delicious. For the 3 of us we shared the following dishes which came with a big pot of delicious rice: -Grilled chicken with lemon -Nubian Vegetable Tagine with Meat -Aubergine Bechamel Tagine Service was great and spoke English. They also had to-go containers for our leftovers Would defined recommend
Shane C — Google review
We had dinner with some drinks, it was a beautiful view looking east over the Nile at sunset. The food was very tasty, you could tell it was made from scratch, and the service was very kind. Would definitely recommend if you are on the island
Kate D — Google review
Amazing experience, we liked it very much. We had the nubian breakfast that was served in pottery, it was very delicious, and we liked the bread very much. We also had the nubian dessert with tea afterward. The place has a good view on the Nile. To get there, you should take the ferry that is next to KFC. The cost is 10 for all nationalities as for the time I wrote this review (July 2025), when you get to the other side there will be stairs on the right, that's the entrance. The breakfast took a long time to prepare. They even wrote that on the menu, but as soon as you try it, you'll know that it's worth waiting. I am very happy with the experience!

Nestled within the opulent Movenpick Aswan resort, Panorama Restaurant & Bar offers a top-notch dining experience in Aswan with its stunning views of the Nile. The restaurant's floor-to-ceiling windows provide an enchanting backdrop for a romantic candlelit dinner and capture breathtaking sunset vistas. Renowned for its intimate ambiance, it is considered one of the finest dining establishments in Egypt.
It's a wonderful dining experience in the restaurant. The best view of night view, the excellent dishes and best service. We had seafood stew, Nike fish, Veal , some vegetarian starters. All are very delicious !
Catherine W — Google review
Dined here during our stay in Aswan. It’s located on the 13th floor of the hotel and has a beautiful Panaromic view of the city facing Nile. We started off with bread basket. Breads were a bit dry. There were very few vegetarian appetizer and nothing particularly appealing. We ordered veggie penne pasta and pea risotto for main course. Pasta was flavorful but only a little less cooked. Pea risotto was delicious. The portions were filling. We got Key lime pie for dessert and it was a bit disappointing. The manager quickly replaced it with crème brûlée. The service was generally great, just a bit slower. Overall, the food was great compared to other options available in the town. Great date night place. Recommend!

A Wonderful Dining Experience at Mövenpick Aswan The panoramic restaurant on the 13th floor of Mövenpick Resort Aswan offers breathtaking views of the Nile and Aswan’s beauty. The food was delicious, with a great selection of dishes, and our waiter, Ahmed, provided excellent service, making the evening truly special. A must-visit for anyone in Aswan!
Alia F — Google review
Amazing view of the Nile and Aswan. The service was great too; the staff were friendly and very helpful.
Fares H — Google review
Service is incredible. I went to restaurant tower two days ago and just after two days of recovery my health I can write that I was sick for 2 days, maybe the fish with risotto I took was not good or maybe the fresh butter done with milk caused some issue into my stomach. After some hours I started to felt cold, sick and weak! Only drunk water for the 2 days after and a lot of diarrea, sleeping 16 hours per day. Now I'm back on track and ensure Movenpick will check on it!
Tommaso C — Google review
Delicious spot. Views were awesome and we had the place to ourselves! Loved the lamb shank and duck. Risotto was also delicious. Great prices, around 35-40 usd per person with drinks. Have to boat to this location, even if you’re staying on the island.
Magnus W — Google review
Food was below pair. We lived at the elephantine island, and the local food from the local places was much better, and much cheaper. All the meat they had was overcooked and close to uneatable (we could not eat it at least). Price was $70 for a very horrible buffet. Nice view though.
Morten B — Google review
Since when is added services charges been a thing anywhere in Egypt on top of tax already. If you are by your self forget it as there is a minimum charge also that they fail to tell you about when entering. Money grabbing tourist trap.

Egyptian restaurant
Located on the Nile River Corniche, Salah El Din Restaurant offers a delightful experience with its authentic Mediterranean vegetarian dishes and captivating sunset views over the river. The outdoor seating area is a major draw for both local and international visitors, who appreciate the warm hospitality extended by the restaurant. Specializing in tagines, kofti, pizzas, freshly pressed juices, and well-seasoned grilled fish, this establishment is renowned for its delectable cuisine and picturesque setting along the Nile.
It is also a cafe, and we visited here as cafe twice. They have a great view of Nile. we watched the sunset here. They have a very good ethopian coffee fresh grounded...
Enis E — Google review
Absolutely disgusting and dishonest. While visiting this restaurant I found a dead cockroach in the bathroom — completely unacceptable for any place that serves food. To make matters even worse, after I had already paid my bill, the waiter shamelessly tried to rip me off by charging me extra. This is not just poor hygiene and terrible management, it is a complete lack of integrity. If a restaurant cannot maintain basic cleanliness and allows staff to treat customers this way, it deserves zero stars. Save yourself the disappointment (and possible health risk) and go literally anywhere else.
Carla S — Google review
I had a very tasty sish tawook (grilled pieces of chicken) dish here with chips that was great. It took a bit long for the dish to come but the staff were very apologetic about it. The only downside is the lack of card payment at lunchtime - bring cash!
Renata — Google review
Very friendly staff Love Mr Khalid Food was better everywhere else and very nice.
David B — Google review
Food was delicious, view of the Nile is unmatched - beautiful sunset. Service from Khaled and Mr Flower was excellent.
Daniel P — Google review
Excellent riverside restaurant right on the Nile. Tranquil atmosphere, attentive service and superb food. Perfect for sunset.
Brian W — Google review
Perhaps it was just the day I went. The food was subpar. The chicken was extra dry, the steak was well done and rubbery. Portion size was no where near the 300g of chicken and steak. I don’t think I got my money’s worth. I had to go to McDonald’s down the block to get a fill 🫤
Sabrina M — Google review
We loved the view of the Nile from the outdoor dining area downstairs. We sat in really cozy chairs and enjoyed babaganoush as a starter, then fish kebab which they serve with choice of rice or fries. The food was simple but really nice!

Aswan Moon is a restaurant offering a variety of cuisines, including Egyptian dishes and European foods like moussaka and pizzas. One of its highlights is the opportunity to relax with fresh juice while enjoying views of the Nile. Although service may be slow during peak hours, the promise of delicious food combined with a great view makes it worth considering for dinner. Additionally, it offers fiteer, an Egyptian pizza-like delicacy made from thin sheets of pastry.
I wasn’t expecting much I thought it would be a normal cafe but the drinks were amazing .I ordered a strawberry smoothie and my friend ordered Nescafé they were both so good . I recommend this cafe if you want to come a have a nice time and drink something and go .overall experience was great .

We made the unfortunate decision to try pigeon here. It wasn’t that good but my husband ended up getting it extreme food poisoning. He was not well for two days after eating this which really affected his trip. I also got a little sick afterwards, but his was much worse than mine.
Lilith — Google review
This place has one thing going for it. The view and atmosphere. It's a nice cafe with good weather, nice drinks and well priced items. Just make sure to ask exactly what is in the items you're ordering. We got a couple of pizzas which were mediocre at best. Again great view, mid food.

All TOURITES and foreigners PLEASE NOT eat at this restaurant. They do not welcome people other than Egyptians!!!!!!!!!!!中国人如果不是嫌钱多的话一定一定不要来这家餐厅!!!! This restaurant has two menus. The English menu is twice as expensive as the Arabic one. After we asked for the Arabic menu to order, they still charged us the high price at the checkout. When we asked to change the bill, the male waiter of the restaurant loudly tapped the chair with the menu to show his dissatisfaction. In the end, the menu price they gave us was still not completely correct and they charged us 200 Egyptian pounds as service fee for the 700 Egyptian pounds we spent. The service in any other restaurant in Egypt is better than theirs. When we pointed out the incorrect price, several male waiters made us feel in danger at 11:30 p.m. At the same time, when I ordered food, a lot of dish they don’t have and also finally we had to wait for almost one and a half hours for the final dishes.
Yuxiao K — Google review
Aswan Moon Cafe, once a popular spot along the Nile Corniche for its beautiful river views and relaxed setting, has unfortunately changed in a way that makes it no longer suitable for families or female visitors. While the cafe does have a valid license to serve alcohol, the atmosphere has shifted dramatically. A growing number of guests now openly consume alcohol throughout the day, creating an environment that many find uncomfortable and even unsafe, especially for women and families. The once-cozy and peaceful vibe has been replaced by a setting that feels far less welcoming for those looking for a quiet meal or coffee by the Nile. Service remains slow, and some guests have reported a lack of hospitality from the staff. Additionally, a mandatory 50 EGP service charge is applied to bills regardless of order size, which some customers find unfair. While the views are still impressive, the overall atmosphere has changed for the worse. As a result, Aswan Moon Cafe is no longer recommended for families or women looking for a comfortable and safe place to relax. There are many other spots along the Corniche that offer a better experience without these concerns.
Sarah R — Google review
Very dirty from the tables, to the dishes. Very old oil used to fry the food and food with to much fat.
Júlio B — Google review
Most important to notice, that waiters’ english is quite bad. When we came we asked if it’s possible to pay by card, he said that’s not possible, but we can pay by euros/dollars and he reassured us, that he would have change for our mentioned sum. When we wanted to pay he refused to take given euros cause he hasn’t got change and refused to take coins. He didn’t suggest any option just left us to come with solution.
Kornelija Š — Google review
We ate delicious Chicken Tajin and grilled pigeon. The staff is very friendly. The views on the floating restaurant are incredible. In front of the restaurant there are many Felucca drivers that want to sell you a ride. But they are very friendly and a no is enough.

Fast food restaurant
Chef Khalil Restaurant, located in the old city of Aswan, is renowned for its diverse selection of fresh seafood and local Egyptian dishes. The establishment offers a variety of delectable fish options such as fish soup with shrimp and calamari, grilled or fried Nile perch, and traditional local bread. While it may be on the pricier side, the high-quality seafood makes it a must-visit for seafood enthusiasts.
As a restaurant critic, I would like to note: the soup with seafood is perfectly cooked; the eggplant appetizers are delicious; the salad is fresh and excellent; of course the fish is cooked correctly; please note the correct serving (not all expensive restaurants will offer a soup spoon); I definitely recommend visiting this. restaurant in Aswan!

This place was recommended by a couple of locals as the best seafood place. Not an understatement, food was delish we chose our fresh fish and how we’d like them to cook it. Everything was spot on the extra salads and dips were delicious. If ever in Aswan I defo recommend this place.
Rayhana J — Google review
Food is good but not honest in payment method. Asked before order if card is acceptable. Confirmed three times can pay by credit card. When pay for the bill, say only cash accepted. Need to find an ATM to take cash out to settle the payment. Hard feeling for such dishonesty
Dave L — Google review
Someone recommended this place to us for the best fish in Aswan. Not sure if it was the best but it was good enough that I recommend it now as well :) We ordered several fish from the Aswan dam and some seafood. Everything was fresh, delicious but nothing was out of the ordinary. The tahini and baba ganush on the side were one of the best I had in Aswan. The seating arrangement and the interior could have been better. Recommend for fishy dishes :)

A delicious and a huge meal. You can try local Nile tilapias 3 ways - grilled, fried and in a casserole. They are all yummy and come with rice and a selection of salads and spreads with pita bread. It's a little pricier but totally worth it.

The fried shrimp was super delicious! Not so cheap as other places but it was good

You will love this restaurant for sea foods. I ate crabs and shrimps here. Check out these photos to see the prices. The place is not far from Aswan train station.

Usually I'm writing only a very good or very bad comments. And this time unfortunately we faced a not nice place, indeed I should be attentive to bad reviews. As today it was really True! Poor atmosphere, toilet was dirty. Service as well was not welcoming. Food was nothing special, only sea-food soup was really good. The rest is just average. But the price!!!! Almost 800 Le!! We ate previous days 2-3times less price and were completely full and completely satisfied with food and service. Today first time we feel that it will be nice to eat something else, as portions were really small. Highly not recommended!

Nestled on the picturesque banks of the Nile River, El Dokka Restaurant is a charming family-owned establishment that has been delighting guests since 1993. This culinary gem specializes in traditional Nubian cuisine while also offering a selection of international dishes, making it a must-visit for food enthusiasts. The dream of this restaurant began in 1983 and has blossomed into Aswan's first dining destination, renowned for its exceptional hospitality tailored to every guest's preferences.
Beautiful place on an island 🏝️ in river Nile. Almost at the end of Nile river towards Aswan Dam and close to Nubian village, the Dokka restaurant is known for excellent Nubian Cuisine. We tried their chicken recipe with Tahini & Humus, and also Fish and rice made in Nubian style. Very spacious restaurant offering breathtaking view of great Nile and villages nearby. You have to take a boat to reach the restaurant since the place is on an island.

This place was recommend for lunch by our tour guide and it was worth the recommendation. The food was very good in quality and flavour, the ambience is well set with a good view of the nile and it's tributaries. Very good service too, based on your taste or need, they do suggest from the menu what suits the best. Worth a try while you are in Aswan. One can also enjoy the locally brewed coffee that's fresh and refreshing.

Nice location, good view, you need the boat to arrive at the restaurant. The grilled fish and beef stool were delicious. Lemon juice with peppermint was great. By the way, the drink may be over charge for the foreigners.
Tat O — Google review
It is located in the middle of the Nile with an amazing view and premium location 👌. The welcome is very warm and the service is very friendly, they also have good menu. The food was so 🫣 disappointing in terms of taste and quality, maybe because the place was empty. Overall experience is below average.
Tarek R — Google review
I went with mango juice, lentil soup and grilled chicken with fries, the mango juice was good, the lentil soup was good, when the chicken arrived, I found a hair in my fries, the chicken was well cooked but not seasoned very well, the fries were ok. I then went to pay, and they charged me 800 Egyptian pounds, not sure if service charge was included but it was more than I thought it was. Friendly staff and a welcoming place but let down my the food and hair in the food, and a possible over charging.
Jack P — Google review
Recommend a visit to this restaurant on a little island next to Elephantine Island. Getting to the restaurant is easy via a free boat service run by the restaurant accessed from a small dedicated pier opposite the Egypt Air office in central Aswan. Good view of the temple on the island across one of the channels. Very welcoming staff and would really recommend the koftas, they were superb. The Baba Ganouj was very tasty.
Alexander G — Google review
This place is situated on an island with a beautiful view of the Nile. However, the food is quite average. It’s likely a tourist trap with overpriced food.
Marwan — Google review
I recently visited Eldoka, and overall, it was a good experience. The atmosphere was nice, and the location is perfect, especially with the amazing Nile view. The salads were really delicious and fresh. However, the taste and portions of the main dishes, especially the grilled chicken, could be improved. The portions were a bit small, and the flavor didn’t quite meet expectations. Also, some meat dishes weren’t available, except for the kofta, which was a bit disappointing. We had to wait about 20 minutes for the boat, which wasn’t ideal. It would be great if they could schedule and announce the boat trips so customers don’t have to wait so long. In general, Eldoka is a good place, but with a few improvements, it could be even better.

We ate here 4 days out of 4. Best restaurant we found in Egypt. The food was awesome. Big portions for big value. Staff spoke good English. No hidden fees/tips We enjoyed the burger, chicken, wraps, chicken liver, and more. Coffee is great, frappe's are great. As a family of 4, we had 4 meals, juices, and frappes/coffees for 800 to 1000 EGP. Bargin. Would go back again again.. if we could!

Horrible . Mixed grill was as stone . Even the Rice. 10people, could not eat a bite. Manager did not do anything and even charged 3big bottle of waters and did not say" sorry for everything water is on us". He just shrugged his shoulders. I am a tour leader and been in this business for a long time. In Egypt people are careless I know but neşter the rest or the agency took the Blake. Don't waste your time

Great restaurant!! This place is cheap, delicious and very aesthetically appealing. The prices are very very reasonable, my family and I all got 1 main dish, smoothies, extras and even desserts and the total price per person was 10 USD per person. This way not sound very cheap but we ate a lot. We got seated just in front of the huge window outlooking the Nile River and since we went during golden hour, the sun. All the food was great, I recommend the chicken sandwich. One bad thing about this place is that the service is a bit slow. And the most important thing was that they didn’t accept credit card, which I found a little confusing. We ended up paying in dollars since we didn’t have any local money. But overall, this restaurant is great and we will definitely be returning.

Don’t come here unless you like bone dry bad food that takes 1 hour to come. We came to this spot with our family after getting excited by the reviews. We didn’t know that there was a change in management. We ordered shishkabab, burger, chicken thigh, fried rice and drinks — everything highly recommended by the reviews. It all came horrible. After more than an hour of wait, the food was not worth the wait. The beef is dry like the desert. The worst restaurant we’ve had in Aswan and Egypt. Avoid at all cost!

1902 Restaurant offers a great atmosphere, stunning decor, and excellent service. The space is filled with history and provides a lovely dining experience. While the food is very good, some feel that it may not fully justify the price point. However, it remains a fantastic choice for a special night out or in if you're staying at the hotel. The restaurant's professional and accommodating staff ensure an enjoyable dining experience.
We had such an amazing time eating here every morning and having dinner at 1902. We stayed at the Sofitel for two nights and thought 1902 was the best food out of the restaurants, although the others are close 2nd! Ahmed Baghat was so nice at breakfast. He remembered my breakfast order each morning and helped me speed off as we had an early tour. Then at dinner Essam and Said were outstanding. We had family come with us to enjoy dinner and they were funny and very helpful. Food was on point too! Can’t wait to come back sometime!

Have you ever had a night out where everything went perfectly? Tonight was unforgettable at 1902. Stepping back in time my wife and I enjoyed the grand and opulent location in the Old Cataract. Five stars from us. The phenomenal food and friendly service made us feel right at home. The maitre’d even took THE coolest pictures of us at the piano!

Went for my birthday celebrations - easily one of my favourite nights out in Egypt. The fish? Incredible. The dessert? Wow. And the live pianist? Unreal. Everything felt special.
Pigment P — Google review
Advertised as a gourmet restaurant, here are the facts: You have to walk through a hallway of "celebrities" to reach the restaurant. Very outdated; it's been a long time since any celebrities have been here. Upon arrival, you are required to wear a jacket and are then directed to tables numbered like in a fast food restaurant. What a contrast! The gourmet bread served: brioche. The tap water is not drinkable, so a bottle of water will cost you €9. What a rip-off! The service is not that of a gourmet restaurant. The beef fillet I ordered rare arrived well done. The presentation of the plates is simplistic. The pianist adds something, but it feels more like attending a concert than listening to background music. The restaurant is outdated, the seats are dirty, and the candle holders with electric candles are outdated. The only thing gourmet about this restaurant is the price, certainly not the service or the food. Don't waste your money; instead, go to the terrace to enjoy the view and have breakfast at Le 1902 instead. It will be less painful.

It is not our habit to leave bad reviews, but after months of planning and looking forward to this experience, the menu we were offered was awful. The inedible seafood was not fresh and the lamb was overcooked and impossible to eat. The staff are nice, but the food is not worth their efforts. One in our party ate the dessert, but overall, we hoped for much better from such a venerable fine dining establishment. Perhaps ordering a la carte would have been better than going for the prix fixe, but one will never know. Travelers tip—stick with The Terasse or one of the restaurants at the hotel where people are dining over the much lauded 1902, which had only one other group of diners in addition to us throughout the evening. The hotel itself is absolutely amazing and overall we enjoyed our time. One other thing to note—cocktails are $26 each (ouch!).

Superb original room. Dated menu - not really a French restaurant - nor is it interesting. Good service. Go for the experience of dining in this great historic room (albeit stuffy), not for the food.

Basmatic Nubian Restaurant & Cafe offers a delightful culinary experience that captures the essence of Egyptian flavors. Nestled in a picturesque location, it boasts stunning views over the Nile from its terrace, creating an inviting atmosphere for diners. The aroma of freshly prepared dishes fills the air, making it hard to resist trying their specialties like lentil soup and chicken tagine, served alongside flavorful sides such as rice and fresh salad.
Very nice location and good food, we tried the moussaka, it was amazing!! The staff is very kind and friendly.

Not to recommend for vegetarians. The taste itself is not bad, but the portions are too small and the price is completely exaggerated for that. I left hungry. It made me sad to see that the women is alone in the kitchen and has all the work. I feel so sorry because it is definitely not her fault.

Mustafa (who owns this place) studied tourism and service at university. It shows, in his friendly, efficient, and lovely atmosphere of the hotel. The pick up service (from the ferry dock), the check in and check out routine, the cleanliness of the room, and the delicious food are all excellent. I would highly recommend this hotel and restaurant.

We have just eaten some wonderful food at the Basmatic restaurant. Great view from the terrace over the Nile. There are mouth watering smells from the kitchen as everyone's food is freshly prepared. Today we had some wonderful lentil soup and a Chicken tanjin, the tanjin is served with a potato dish, rice and a fresh salad, the taste was amazing. The staff are fantastic, friendly and give tips on what to see around the island.

Restaurant
Nestled along the banks of the Nile, Mezze Restaurant offers a delightful culinary experience that captures the essence of Egyptian and Middle Eastern cuisine. With its stunning views overlooking the Tombs of the Nobles, this charming eatery is perfect for those looking to savor authentic local dishes. Guests rave about their eggplant specialties and seafood grill served with rice, showcasing a commitment to quality ingredients and traditional flavors. The atmosphere is inviting, making it an ideal spot for both casual dining and special occasions.
I had a wonderful dining experience at Mezze Restaurant at Mövenpick Aswan. The view was absolutely spectacular and so relaxing, making it the perfect setting for a meal. I’d like to give a special thanks to Sana, the hostess, for her outstanding hospitality and warmth throughout my visit. I tried the staff pigeon and Egyptian soup, and both dishes were incredibly delicious. The flavors were rich, and the portions were very generous. Overall, it was a great dining experience with wonderful food, great service, and an unforgettable view.
Ihar B — Google review
Excellent warm and timely service, but the food was widely ranging in quality. The cold mezze plate was very disappointing. The batata harra and mixed kofta platter were excellent, as were the 3 soups we tried. The stuffed zucchini was decent but not the best I’ve had. The prices reflect the location in a ritzy resort, but I’m not sure the value of the meal reflected the final bill.
Lara B — Google review
We got food poisoning from the chicken skewers and pretty much all the dishes were not fresh, probably a couple days old. The food was sub par, a lot of rice and little to no meat, especially the stuffed pigeon, it was all rice with pigeon skin and bones

The food was really good, nice moment. Ibrahim, our server, was attentive and friendly, which made the experience even better. Definitely recommend !
Hanina T — Google review
We're a little bit disappointed. The food was just the average. Their service doesn't reach our expectations especially waiters. I felt that they don't perform as a professional. It was a bit hard for us to communicate with them because of the English. Having a dinner at 5 star hotel was no value at tuis restaurant.
Ako S — Google review
I give this three stars because the restaurant is not where Google indicates, which is in the OLD Movenpick but the restaurant is actually in the NEW Movenpick that is way further. Google needs to update the location. We were staying outside the hotel at a guest house on Elephantine Island and got so lost following google directions. We ended up asking a local whom showed us the back way by Ibiza restaurant to get into the hotel. To make matters worse, we then had to go through a gate with security who thought we were trespassing. Following that, we had to ask a staff who then told us Mezze is in the new hotel and we were going to wrong direction. Not great for getting to the restaurant if you are not staying at the Movenpick. Food and service was delicious though.
Luna A — Google review
Great food, excellent and friendly staff (especially Ali the manager). Have eaten at 3 restaurants within Movenpick Hotel and all have been excellent!

We recently visited Egypt for about 10 days including a stop at this restaurant. We had been in Egypt for three or four days by this point, and were a bit more familiar with the cuisine and dining experiences. That being said, this particular restaurant impressed us even more. The venue was Exquisite, overlooking the Nile River. We came in early evening, and the waiter and service were superb. We chose a couple of local dishes, which were prepared to perfection. The amount of food was astronomical, we actually saved it for two more meals after this dining experience. Our time in Egypt encouraged us to utilize the hotel experiences. This again followed this trend, and they provided local flavor and dishes, exquisite Egyptian service, and yet still provided a high quality dining ambiance as well. I would highly recommend stopping at this restaurant if visiting as one. It is definitely worth the 5-minute boat ride to the middle of the Nile.

Abeer Restaurant, situated in Aswan, Egypt, is a renowned eatery that offers an extensive menu of authentic and popular Egyptian dishes. This establishment attracts numerous tourists from around the globe with its delectable cuisine. The diverse array of dishes includes molokhia with rice, okra soup, beans, mouthwatering stuffed pigeons, grilled chicken and various types of kebabs and grills.
This place wasn't as easy to find as I thought. We saw a small entrance but the guy took us further back and into another room so they have several rooms. Service was friendly and kind. Portions are large as they give you many standards food items that come along with your meal that we barely finished. The meat was hit and miss. I ordered the Tarab which was juicy and tasty. But we got the liver/kidneys and they were super tough and overcooked. The cleanliness will be left to your own devices but this is pretty local and it was great eating here. Would recommend for sure. Very well priced as well and they accepted credit card.

Great local food with friendly, honest staff. We ate here four times during our stay in Aswan. There is an English menu but prices seem to match the Arabic menu (no hugely inflated tourist prices here) and are very fair. The tahini is amazing (maybe the best in Egypt!)
Ash W — Google review
Not dirt cheap but a local place with good food. Couple of staff speak English. English / Arabic menu available. Had fish soup, stuffed pigeon, beans, rice, with small salad and tahini side. Asked for "today's veg" as a side also. This did two of us nicely. Postscript: been back twice since I wrote the above. It is clear that a number of local cafes/eateries have switched onto the opportunity that tourists give them. Same food, but at higher prices (two menus, one in Arabic, the other in English). A cheat really. So we kept coming back here. My wife felt comfortable here too.

Not meaning to be rude, but this place is hard to find and when you see it (particularly if a soft westerner like me who is careful where they eat overseas) may be somewhere you skip. Don't. Al Masry is a sophisticated yet comfortable hotel located in Aswan, just 1 kilometer from downtown. The hotel offers a quiet atmosphere, clean rooms, and a restaurant for guests on the roof terrace. Guests can enjoy an evening at the bar and experience the exciting oriental atmosphere where food and culture are combined. The restaurant offers true Egyptian food with the guidance of knowledgeable servers. While the service may be affected by crowds, early visits are recommended to ensure availability of menu items.
Best food in Aswan! We asked a local for the best and most hygienic food and they suggested Al masry! Honestly one of the best feeds I’ve had in Egypt and this is my third time visiting the country! Make sure to get the potatos in sauce (best potatoes I’ve ever had) also fully air conditioned! I’m from Australia, Melbourne and the food was just as good, if not better than most restaurants there. Also for meat main grilled chicken
Tess R — Google review
We had dinner here on the first day of our stay in Aswan after reading the Google reviews, but it was a deeply disappointing experience. The menu is heavily overpriced for tourists, with a 10% service charge added. However, let’s assume the pricing is acceptable—was there any service to begin with? Absolutely not. The service was poor, the food portions were shockingly small (see the photo for reference), and they charged 555 EGP for what can only be described as a kid-sized portion, plus service charge and tax. The food was bland, the hygiene standards were unacceptable, and there wasn’t a single positive aspect about this restaurant. This was, without a doubt, the worst dining experience we had in Egypt. Avoid this place at all costs.
Mohamed A — Google review
This restaurant presented a bit of a puzzle. Based on the very casual decor – think plastic tablecloths and water in plastic cups – I was expecting budget-friendly prices. However, the menu was surprisingly expensive, placing it in the same range as much nicer establishments in Egypt. The food itself was actually quite tasty for a budget-friendly meal, and if it had been priced appropriately, that would be the end of the story. The service was friendly and attentive. However, the final bill was significantly higher than anticipated, roughly a third more than the total I calculated from the menu prices. I'm still unsure how they arrived at that total, as there was no clear breakdown of the service charges. This underhanded tactic completely negated any positive impression from the friendly service and decent food, and ultimately left a really bitter taste. Please be aware that they don't accept card payments, and locating a nearby ATM proved to be quite a challenge.
Tarja — Google review
I usually don’t write negative reviews, but I feel it’s my responsibility to share this experience for the comfort and safety of others. We visited this restaurant based on a recommendation. The food was actually quite decent, and the ambiance pleasant. However, our entire experience was deeply ruined by the unprofessional and shockingly inappropriate behavior of one of the young male staff members. This individual made unsolicited, intrusive, and even vulgar comments—crossing every possible line of respectful interaction. His jokes were offensive, his remarks disturbingly personal, and his overall behavior completely unacceptable in a space that should be safe and welcoming to all guests. We chose not to confront him at the time, as we were the only guests there and didn’t want to escalate things. But we left the restaurant feeling upset, uncomfortable, and frankly, disrespected. This wasn’t a simple case of poor service—it was a violation of personal boundaries and a failure in basic human decency. As long as individuals like this are part of the staff, I cannot recommend this restaurant as a safe or respectful environment. I truly hope the management takes this seriously. No customer should have to feel unsafe or demeaned simply for choosing to dine out.
Javad M — Google review
I tried this place for dinner. Had the stuffed pigeon, each dish comes with many side dishes . Food was mostly good. Quite a lot of food for 1 person. The atmosphere was quiet and calm. Overall it was a decent experience with friendly quick service. Wouldn't come back though as i prefer cheaper places to eat.
Jack P — Google review
It’s air conditional, clean and service was prompt. The downside was that the price you paid at the end will not be the same as the menu due to their “tax and service fee”. We ordered kofta set menu at 515p and ended up paying 700p.. but the guy was upfront, told us the new price when we ordered. Good humour from the old man, food was alright , nothing bad. Come here only if you are willing to pay the service and tax fees.
ShuZhen C — Google review
Restaurant is nice, staff is incredibly friendly food is 7/10. All the garnishes coming with the mains are amazing. BUT incredibly overpriced 500-555 for a main dish. Also that does not include service+tax so add another 26% to your bill (no warning on the menu about this). No card accepted we paid for 2 mains (nothing else ordered) 1400 EGP

The spices smell great. Hibiscus tea is good. Cumin is high powered . THE SAFFRON IS FAKE. The atmosphere is good as will most stores offer you hibiscus juice and peppermint tea, just know what your buying. I should have known better with the bogus saffron. King Jamaica restaurant & Cafe and breakfast (Ayman Jamaica) is a top-rated dining spot located on Elephantine Island in Aswan. The restaurant offers a quiet and hospitable atmosphere with clean rooms for guests to enjoy their meals. The owner, Ayman, is known for his kindness and fluency in English, having lived in Australia for some time. Guests can savor freshly cooked food with great flavors and generous portions while taking in the incredible view of the Nile.
For lunch, we went to King Jamaica Restaurant, recommended by the owner. We ordered camel meat tagine, fried chicken, and chicken Negresco (which is like a pasta dish). All the dishes, along with the flatbread and rice, were delicious! However, the wait was incredibly long — we were almost going crazy. I don’t know how the Europeans at the next table managed to stay so calm. The camel meat was very flavorful and went perfectly with rice, and the texture was so tender it almost felt unusual. -3/1/25

This was probably the most unique restaurant we ate at in all of Egypt! The blue paint and murals were gorgeous! And sitting right next to the Nile with boats passing by, makes it the perfect location. The food was OK, but it took a REALLY long time for it to arrive.

Beautiful view but it’s a tourist tramp. Very higher prices comparing with other places , and the portions are super small! We have been in many restaurants and all of them were cheaper and bigger portions. The view is beautiful tho and offer go and back to Aswan but definitely I wouldn’t go back.

Absolutely delicious food. We ordered the vegetable tagine (potatoes and peas) and the jerk chicken - both were excellent. Tasty and seasoned well but still healthy. The main dishes all come with rice, tomato/cucumber salad and some bread. Service is friendly but not overimposing. Restaurant is on the waterfront and operates its own periodic free boat to/from the mainland (1 min journey).

Pretty groovy place to eat. The atmosphere is alive. The food is next level but a little pricey. The service is a little slow but it’s expected particularly when busy. As a customer you’ll get a free ride back to the mainland. Just ask.

Loved it! Great vibes and food, lovely service. Recommended by the host and will recommend to friends! Tried the camel tangit and surprisingly it's soft like beef brisket. Taste like beef too so don't worry if the taste will be funny. Barbecued chicken is SOOOOO juicy! Honestly i'm a roast chicken lover this ranks one of the best ones i've had!!!!! For nubian coffee it's like egytian coffee with some spices and ginger. Love their juices too it says it's made with local ingredients (may not be true as we ordered strawberries.. delicious!) Beautiful place with complimentary ferry boat!
NEIHO H — Google review
After nearly a month in Egypt now I can say without doubt that King Jamaica had the most delightful food I've had. The taste of the food was magic, and even the salad and tahina were beyond anything I could have imagined possible! I had the joy to meet the owner on the first night and he has helped me as much as he could given the way I am traveling. I have been coming everyday ever after. What he and the people who're with him have created is a really impressive and wonderful space for anyone to spend time, enjoy, talk together. It is a big space where you can seat in many different sections. A boat service has been arranged especially for the customers of King Jamaica which is so practical but the most important thing here is the level of involvement behind the taste of the food, providing such a great service to the customers, making this place beautiful, practical, pleasant for all kinds of people, groups, families, single people and you won't have anyone asking you for anything at the end. Finally a place where you can just relax, enjoy and know that you can trust the people 200%. I recommend anyone to come and get a taste of what is there because it's a one in a country this kind of gem. I only know one place in Nepal and one place in France where such a beautiful ambiance is also there. Please enjoy! ❤️😁

We had a wonderful dining experience here. Started with the Iron Bloom — rich, flavorful chicken liver with a perfect balance of pomegranate and hummus. The Beef Fillet with Black Garlic Crème was exceptional — tender, juicy, and full of deep flavor. The Chicken Ballotine was beautifully done, with caramelized onions and pine nuts adding a comforting sweetness. For dessert, the Nile Moonrise was the perfect finish — light, tropical, and refreshing. The Strawberry Rossini complemented everything beautifully. Chefs Khaled and Moustafa truly know their craft, and the warm hospitality from Iman and Mahmoud made the evening even more enjoyable. A special mention to Sherif, the golf car driver who picked me up — friendly, helpful, and added a personal touch to the whole experience. A place where every detail — from flavor to service — feels genuinely cared for. Highly recommended.

Unwinding at the Zen Wellness Retreat was a serene escape, complete with spacious rooms, plush bedding, and scenic views. From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us with genuine warmth and hospitality. A thoughtful touch awaited us after dinner—a beautifully crafted towel swan adorned with fresh flowers atop the bed. Dinner at Juzoor, the on-site farm-to-table restaurant, was an exceptional experience. We were graciously welcomed by Manager Ahmed Abd Elaziz and our attentive server, Ahmed Nasr Eldin. The restaurant’s calming décor and our perfectly selected table with a stunning view of the Nile set the tone for a memorable evening. The meal began with a refreshing glass of freshly made cantaloupe juice, prepared and served by the manager himself, followed by an enticing variety of artisan breads. Our server ensured every detail was tended to with precision and a warm smile. The highlight of the main course was a masterfully prepared spaghetti dish with mushrooms and chicken, seasoned to perfection and elegantly plated. We were delighted to be personally greeted by International Chef Tamer, who took the time to converse with us and ensure our satisfaction. He also crafted our dessert—a remarkable creation of warm apples in a delicately sweet cream sauce, topped with a flavorful blend of nuts, all thoughtfully made without refined sugar. Each person we encountered exuded kindness, attentiveness, and generosity. It was a truly enriching and restorative experience.

Ali Jamaica is a great guest house in Aswan, with delicious food and amazing views of the Nile River. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the rooms are comfortable and clean. If you're looking for a relaxing place to stay in Aswan, Ali Jamaica is definitely worth considering!
Loved this place. The atmosphere, food and its very gracious hosts made our dinner here a memorable one. The Home cooked camel Tagline is worth the visit alone, but the entire experience was great and I would highly recommend.

I went here on my first night staying on Elephantine island and had the fish and vegetable tagine. It was so good I came back and had it again the next night. The very popular restaurant nearby is big, busy and loud but Bob Marley restaurant is quieter, relaxed, with amazing Nile views. The staff are lovely. Food is fabulous. If you’re staying on the mainland it’s so easy to get here by public ferry in under 5 mins and they run until midnight.

Great place to eat. Good food, great staff, amazing view, nice vibe. Have outdoor cooler fans if it’s hot, but the Nile breeze keeps it beautiful.

The music, waiters, location, cleanliness and taste of food were the perfect combo! 🌞 The vibes are so friendly and laid back. We spent only one night on the Elephantine island, exhausted from the daily activites, but dinner on the cozy terrace made us so happy. You will not regret enjoying your time here!

This is by FAR the BEST restaurant for food on Elephantine Island!!! We’ve stayed on the island for 4 nights now and tried all the main restaurants, so we say with confidence their food, service, and cold beer was truly the one that shone through. The view of the Nile was amazing and they were so accommodating. We’ll be back again before we leave!

Porto Sonu, located in Aswan, is a remarkable structure that was relocated to an island in the area due to the construction of the Aswan dam. The temple's reconstruction is awe-inspiring, with every brick and column meticulously numbered. Visitors are treated to a wealth of historical knowledge by guides like Bassem who bring hieroglyphics to life. In addition to its historical significance, Porto Sonu also offers dining experiences and event hosting services.
Excellent Service/ Good Food nice atmosphere. Recommended 100%

Came here as part of a tour group. The layout of this place does seem to cater towards such groups, with set meals and a salad bar. While the chicken was excellent with a crispy skin and a tender interior, the salad bar was less than satisfactory with multiple flies swarming the partially covered food trays.
Belle T — Google review
Nice little restaurant in Aswan. The salad bar is good, tahini and baba ganoush better than most places. The beef tagine and fried beef are great dishes. Staff are very friendly.

It was ridiculous, I and my friends came over and it was my treat but when we were waiting we didn’t get a menu nor a great service they kept glancing at us and serving others bc we were teenagers so they might’ve assumed we can’t pay or came for the aesthetic but dawg why can’t you even ask us if we want like come on???? And when I got to them and told them yeah I want to order FOOD they said oh really and toke our orders just to give other people who came after us their and we wait 15 min adding to the 40 min we were sitting and in the end my friend saw that there are some uncooked chicken in her food what the helll????? + the place died and the reputation died more

Food is not bad. They are catered more for tourist groups and foreigners and priced as such. Yes… you can get a pizza but you are in Aswan and you go out for some amazing local food.

Porto Sono Aswan is a nice place for enjoying tasty meals and proper place for people who are looking for wedding parties. The provided services are good with table services but expensive in comparison with some other places inside Aswan Governate.

Good restaurant with variety of food. The taste is very good and the portions are really good. One of the best restaurants in Aswan. The decoration and the furniture are not that good. The place has some tables with nile view although it is not directly on the nile. Prices are moderate if you compare to other restaurants in Aswan.

Oriental Kebabgy is a must-visit dining spot in Aswan, offering excellent service and delightful food. The restaurant provides a stunning view of the river, especially during sunset. Guests can savor the light and flaky Seabass along with other local dishes for a truly satisfying feast. While the smoke from fish dishes brought tableside can be overwhelming at times, the overall experience of enjoying Egyptian cuisine by the Nile River is unforgettable.
Beautiful setting with live music in front of the Nile. The cool was good with great choice. Staff was very helpful in choosing and providing great prompt service
Pietro C — Google review
Located within the historic Old Cataract Hotel, this spot is both convenient and a must-visit. We chose to dine outdoors, and the view of the Nile was absolutely stunning. We ordered the lentil soup, fattoush salad, falafel, potato harra, and koshary. Every dish was delicious—the falafel were perfectly crispy and warm, the koshary was flavorful with just the right amount of spice, the vegetables in the fattoush were fresh and juicy, and the potato harra had a wonderful texture. The portions were generous and more than enough to satisfy the hearty appetites of the two of us. We didn’t even have room for dessert! The staff was incredibly accommodating, and the service was excellent. Highly recommend - both the restaurant, and the hotel!

Foodpoisining: We were looking forward to a nice dinner. The location is beautiful, but the service was chaotic, and unfortunately next day the two guests that have eaten the eggplant main dish suffer a severe foodpoisining. This ruined the last day of our stay in Egypt. Kitchen hygienics and staff service management need serious improvements.
Leo B — Google review
This is one of the best restaurants in Aswan, IMHO, given that we didn't have much time spent in Aswan and the food in our hotel was not good at all. We came to the Old Cataract hotel restaurant over two nights. The price is higher than the usual restaurants in Aswan but the food quality was really good. This is an Egyptian restaurant and reservations are required to get a table. They have live performance of Egyptian music which some of them is quite pleasing as we dine. There is outdoor and indoor seating. The outdoor is really nice if the weather is less windy. Indoor is a little cold with the air condition but it beats having sand blown into the food as we sit in the windy weather. We ordered the oxtail tajine and hot mezzas and their dessert platter. They were delicious and we ate very comfortably.
Pauline Y — Google review
We were staying at the Old Cataract hotel and this was definitely the best food we had there! The atmosphere is lovely, right on the river and though it doesn't have the WOW factor of the 1902 Restaurant, the food here was much better for less money. Service is also fantastic. We loved this restaurant!

Solaih Nubian Restaurant is a must-visit dining spot in Aswan, offering a delightful experience for both the palate and the eyes. Situated overlooking the ancient Philae Temple, this Nubian-themed restaurant serves a blend of traditional and contemporary Nubian dishes that will transport you back to the flavors of grandma's cooking. The eco-friendly establishment boasts furniture and tableware made from locally sourced materials.
One of the best restaurants to go to for authentic food! Right across from Philae Temple so its great for lunch after you visit but make sure to reserve first
Osama M — Google review
The restaurant is right across from the Philae Temple, just a short boat ride. From the patio you get great view of the many temples across the water. The food is surprisingly good, I expected basic tourists food but maybe I was hungry so everything was tasty. Our beef and chicken clay pot was super hot and flavorful.

The place is truly magical! It is located right in front of the Philae Temple, offering a breathtaking view of an island embraced by the water, surrounded by rocky islets. The fresh air, the enchanting sky, and the sun, which feels like it heals the soul, make the experience unforgettable. However, the service is poor, and the staff is unfriendly, which detracts from the overall experience.

Amazing Nubian food. We had soup, veggies, beef, fish and a refreshingly chilled crème Brulee like dessert. Everything served piping hot and deliciously seasoned. We totally didn’t expect the food to be that good. The view is directly across the water from the archaeological wonders can imagine a better place for lunch.

I'm a little bit skeptical after reading these reviews, but I had a positive experience here. It was Ramadan so most things were closed, and I was hungry. So the guy walked a while with me to find something that was open, but we couldn't find anything open. So he gave me dates, water and coffee. He then just genuinely seemed interested in showing me his massive collection. It's hard to say what was or wasn't legitimate, but an enjoyable experience nevertheless. He didn't ask me for anything, but I offered him 400 EGP for the coffee + water + dates + his time. Then he gave me a small gift to come home with, for free.

We walked by and a guy started talking to us. Really nice, wanted to show is the house and the collection of random things. We went up on the roof terrace where we found little statues. They seemed to be handmade and heavy. They said its basalt stone. So we believed them. We also got a little present. 2 rings made from the same material. Sadly a few days later when I wanted to wear the ring, it broke into little sandy pieces. So its a scam. Watch out the figures are NOT made of real stone. Very sad because the guys seemed really nice and we had a great talk.

Restaurant
Kato Dool Nubian House is a charming hotel with friendly staff who can help arrange local trips. The colorful hotel offers beautiful Nile views and serves a generous breakfast, although vegan options may be limited. The cozy rooms are bright, but it's best to avoid room number 18. Guests can enjoy lovely evening parties with Egyptian songs. The on-site restaurant offers tasty food and Instagram-worthy surroundings.
We enjoyed our stay here. Booked a family room which was a triple. There were 3 twin beds but 2 were pushed together to make a US king size bed (as long as you don’t mind a tiny gap). We found the bed and pillows very comfy (I like a more firm mattress and soft pillows) and slept well. The room had a much appreciated AC unit as well as bottled water. It also had a mini fridge. This hotel is right at the heart of the Nubian Village. Our particular room did not face the Nile, but had several small windows facing where the boats come to pick up and drop off tourists at the village. I’ll say this area can be very busy as long as the sun is up, however it didn’t bother us as we got up with the sun most days while in Egypt to beat the heat. Everyone we encountered here was very helpful, regardless of their ability to speak English. Sometimes the service felt slow, but it is a different vibe from what you get from servers in the U.S. Breakfast is included at the on property restaurant on the rooftop. They’ll offer you a to go box for breakfast if you’re going out on a tour. We took a day trip at Abu Simbel by car which was about 3.5 hours. Leaving at 9 am got us back in plenty enough time to beat the early morning temple crowds and have an early dinner around 5. The decor is very pretty around the rooms. The patio upstairs where the food is served was spacious, and we saw that people just enjoying the area were stopping in for food and drinks. It overlooks the Nile almost at every angle. The only cons would be the heat of summer and the flies. I’ll note that I believe some of the reviews or images on this listing are for the wrong place. At the time of writing this there’s images of a swimming pool, which this place does not have. There is a similarly named hotel in the area (likely the same family of hotel) with different features. There are some reviews that comment on the price of the food and drinks, but honestly any place that caters to tourists are going to have slightly higher prices. Everything is printed out online as far as pricing and there is a service fee applied in addition. We at all of our meals here and found them satisfactory. As others noted, finding a driver to properly take you to this hotel can be a challenge. I don’t know why they don’t use google maps, but if you can, I’d suggest arranging pickup through the hotel. We tried, but the hotel wasn’t responsive enough so we had to do it ourselves, but perhaps you’ll have better luck.

I had been there for a night’s stay during my Egypt vacation with my wife. This place is a real gem and surreal on the banks of the Nile. The balcony that is by the Nile makes your mind so tranquil. Even the food was great. I would seriously recommend the Nubian chicken tagine that’s there on their menu list.
Nidhin A — Google review
The hotel itself is very charming in an interesting location, heart of Nubian village, river front. The room was comfy and very clean, exactly like in the photos. We felt very relaxed and welcomed. The room was silent good sound isolation, we’ve stayed at the last room of the hotel corridor. The restaurant was excellent, big portions, great fresh local products, exquisite cuisine. It was the best kebab we had in Egypt. It has also beautiful views to the River. First, we came from Cairo with some stomach illness and the manager of the hotel Samir and all hotel staff did everything to make us felt better, he even went to a drugstore and bought us medicine and gave us as a gift. Thank you very Samir and Hamo, restaurant manager, your sympathy and attention made all the difference. Hamo also offered us local tea for all discomfort every day and it has helped a lot. Samir booked some transfers for us, they were all good and responsible drivers. Last, we had to leave the hotel early morning for a trip and they prepared us a breakfast box, with good variety and quality products, even boiled eggs. I don’t understand why other guests complain about it. Bottom line, I loved it and totally recommend.
Paula C — Google review
This is the best location to stay in the Nubian Houses! Samir, the main host, is really attentive and kind, as well as all of the drivers, servers and other staff. They always had the best interest in our safety and had great prices for us! The room was really clean, everything smelled great and the view of the Nile was incredible! Of course the experience is rustic because of the area it is in but getting in and out in tuktuks is no big issue. I would recommend this for people who want both the adventure and the commodity.
Victoria M — Google review
This was the best stay during our trip in Egypt! The hotel is within Nubian village, a vibrant location filled with colored and unique culture. There is nothing that I can complaint about this place, the staff is extremely friendly, the food is amazing (You have to try the Nubian Chicken), and stay is stunning. We were welcomed with local hibiscus tea upon arrival. They checked us in quickly, no force upsell of other services. Shout out to Somaya, she was lovely and kind. The room is just stunning. Its a traditional Nubian house, high dome ceiling. The room is AC and does not feel stuffy and extremely spacious. The balcony oversees the Nile River, amazing sunrise and sunset. I can't say enough how helpful the owner and staff were. They are willing to show us the best place to shop and avoid paying the tourist price. Important!!! I can't stress this enough, as I stumble across this in a stroke of luck! There is a pier right next to the hotel, meaning you can take a boat ride right back to the hotel from Aswan. Me and my girlfriend were able to enjoy unrivaled sunset from Aswan back to our hotel every night we were there. The pier has not cause any noise issue during our stay, it starts quite late in the morning, and ends early at night. Folks, this is the place to be.

The location is close to crowded boat anchorage, and at times really busy. The place is beautifully designed, and as well as the rooms. The quality of food could have been better. In addition, the staff were really hospitable and friendly.

I have been more than patient trying to work with the team at Dolty Kato. The customer experience with the booking process is absolutely horrible. It takes days and even weeks to respond to messages via what’s app or email and you can never get a hold of anyone on the phone. I own a travel agency and have been trying to bring continuous business to your establishment but your treatment and lack of professionalism is unacceptable. The last guess I had was an elderly man and you didn’t even bother to tell us the roads are closed. He was unable to ride a car to your hotel and had to use a local tuk tuk. This is fine but at least give us the Courtesy and tell us this AHEAD of time. We stayed in August and were able to access with a car no problem I have been patient for long enough enough is enough.

Lovely little hotel in a beautiful Nubian village right on the Nile. Would definitely recommend the balcony rooms! Honestly, the best food we have had in Egypt. We arrived and had tagine for lunch. It was so flavourful and beautifully textured. Ramadan and Nasir are the sweetest and kindest gentlemen we have met here so far. We shared laughs and chats as we enjoyed the wonderful view out over the Nile. We stayed the night and the room is beautifully decorated, with glass bottles in the ceiling so the multicoloured light dances over the beds in the midday sun as you shelter in the air conditioning. It is the perfect place to rest and relax. Would definitely come again.

If you arrive at the hotel to check in they only offer you to eat Tajine for 400EGP which is extremely overpriced (and not that tasty). The location is beautiful but wildly impractical, especially if you have an early tour the morning after. The room was great.

The owner of the guest house is very rude and he doesn’t have the least way of respect as we were there and felt so hot and we didn’t want to sit any more and even the order wasn’t ready yet, then we felt that we want to leave specially that there were guests before us and they felt that they were scammers specially that bill wasn’t like it was written in the website,so we asked the stuff to leave and they were so rude that we asked them to leave and we found the owner called “Mostafa” coming behind us and shouting with loud voice and asking us why are we leaving ?, we told him the reason, he told us ok leave now and don’t come back !!! We were shocked and we didn’t respond to that, he kept saying this my restaurant and don’t come back, he was really crazy and you will n’t feel safe at all while you are there as if you are kidnapped so i really don’t recommend it at all neither as restaurant nor guesthouse or rooms.

Habesha Market Carry Out & Restaurant is a delightful gem for anyone craving authentic Ethiopian cuisine. This compact eatery doubles as a market, offering an array of Ethiopian grocery staples alongside delicious prepared meals to go. Known for its generous portions and affordable prices, it’s a favorite among locals who appreciate the convenience of grabbing flavorful dishes like beef tibs or shiro at any hour—open until midnight on weekends!
Delicious Ethiopian food with many vegan options. I went here 3 times during a week-long visit to D.C. and was glad I went each time. Service was prompt and friendly, the food was great, the atmosphere is unique in a good way since this is part store, part carryout, part sit down restaurant.

This is the kind of spot that I had a feeling going in would be awesome. It’s got that mom and pop vibe without crazy decorations or luxury ambiance, which means you know the food is fire. I’m not too familiar with Ethiopian food so I asked for recommendations. The girl working the front helped me out and I went with the “pick 4” option that allows you to pick 4 meats/veggies. Food was so good, and i have enough food for the rest of tomorrow as leftovers. Really great pricing too. Awesome spot!
Billy T — Google review
Just my honest review, I’ve had a number of veggie combos from different Ethiopian spots. This is not my favorite from a quality / flavor standpoint. The vibe is also pretty much like a takeout spot rather than restaurant. That being said they seems to be always open which is a huge plus like if you wanted Ethiopian food in the morning or later at night. The spicy potatoes were really delicious. Huge portion sizes for a great value. Food is good so nothing negative to say. There’s some places with nicer ambiance but here everything is as you expect, the food comes quick and the service is friendly.

Very nice, helpful, and supportive staff. Explained the items/food in the restaurant/menu and was willing to let me be adventurous. Hole in the vibe with enough, but comfortable waiting area and to sit down and eat. Food travels fantasticly and cannot state this enough excellent place to get Ethiopian food before hopping on Amtrak. I ordered the fish dullet, minced fish somewhat spicy with salad, yellow lentils, and injera.

Best, best, best meat dishes...been coming here & the sister location Dukem for like 20+ years. Loyal customer, I now go to the Habesha location weekly for at least 10 years. I now no longer eat meat & their vegan options are elite especially the 16 item dish served in large platter during the vegan fasting (tsom) season.

I recently visited Habesha Market and Carryout and was blown away by the incredible flavors and authenticity of the food. I ordered the Goden Tibs, Lamb Tibs, Beef Tibs, and Beef Stew, and every bite was outstanding. Right from the start, the presentation was inviting—each dish arrived on a large piece of injera bread, with vibrant colors and enticing aromas. The Goden Tibs had succulent pieces of meat that were crispy on the edges yet tender inside, coated in a savory blend of spices. The Lamb Tibs were equally delicious, offering that characteristic rich lamb flavor balanced by a hint of heat. The Beef Tibs stood out for their juicy texture and perfect seasoning, making them incredibly satisfying to scoop up with injera. The Beef Stew was another highlight: hearty, with a slow-cooked depth of flavor that soaked right into the injera. The stew’s spices were bold without being overpowering, giving the dish a comforting warmth. Accompanying sides—like the lentils—added even more variety, rounding out the meal with earthy, fragrant notes. Beyond the food, the restaurant itself felt welcoming and relaxed, with friendly staff who were happy to answer any questions about the dishes. If you’re looking to experience authentic Ethiopian cuisine in a casual setting, Habesha Market and Carryout should be at the top of your list. Everything I tried was so good that I can’t wait to return and explore more of their menu. All this was 50$ as well, Incredible value!!

I came to Habesha Market Carryout and Restaurant for the first time. It's an One Stop Shop. The place was clean. The ambience gives an Ethiopian Feel making feel like the establishment is Authentic. I ordered the Lamb Tibs Fir-Fir with Injera. There were plenty of tables to sit. There were Ethiopian People ordering food, which let's me know this place is legit fire. The bathroom was clean. The food was ready quickly and hot. I Loved it.

Such an awesome neighborhood spot. It was my first time trying this spot out after years of chercher and I think my go to spot has officially shifted. Such great food in a sit down/counter service hybrid space. Plus there’s a little market at the front if you need any Ethiopian spices or bread!

Saraya is a renowned restaurant known for its outstanding scenery, professional and kind staff, and exceptional service. Visitors have praised the breathtaking views from the terrace, which offers a feeling of stepping back in time. The atmosphere is fantastic, especially after sunset. While some experienced delays in getting terrace seats, the attentive staff made sure they were well taken care of. The food received mixed reviews with some mentioning that it was not bad but expensive; however, others found it to be worth the cost.
Great experience! the atmosphere and the view are really amazing, make sure you visit by sunset time so get the most of the place, we just walked in and didn’t make any reservations
Osama M — Google review
We walked in to this restaurant as the other restaurant in the hotel is already full. We were seated indoor as there was strong wind at the outdoor and we didn't want to risk having sand and dust in our food. The menu is a mixed fusion of western, Asian and Egyptian dishes so we didn't think much of the taste and quality. However when they served, we were really pleasingly surprised with the quality of the dishes. Every dish we had was so good! We had 4 starters / mezzas and beer and the portions are really huge so it's like having 4 main courses. Firstly the bread basket is beautiful and great quality bread. We had lentil soup, and the stuffed eggplant dish. The homemade Alex sausage was sooooo good, it has a special sauce over it. The Indian samossa was also amazingly good! The only disappointment is that the wines they serve, the foreign wines are very expensive while the local wines I didn't have good experience with. So we had local beer which was delicious. Service is an area that needs improvement. There was one guy serving the whole area and he seemed unhappy, can also smell strong tobacco on him. Otherwise, this restaurant is highly recommended!

Came here ONLY for the view on the terrace (indoor terrace reserved for guests at hotel), and had a bowl of soup. Soup was deliecious with bread. Service was extra slow, even in Egyptian standard. But the view was just wonderful.

Perfect fine dining place. They have indoor and outdoor (terrace seating). Mandatory 1000EGP pp purchase before entering if you are not a resident. We went for lunch and it was quite busy. Excellent food and service. You get good views of the nile river from the terrace. Very quick service

Kero was absolutely kind and amazing.. So polite and friendly! He made sure we had a great time! We came for my friend's birthday celebration, he was kind enough to arrange for the cake! Huge thanks to Nagy for the amazing cake! The bar is very elegant! Amazing views of the Nile, pool and the hotel! Must visit when you're in Aswan! So much history here! Iconic experience!

The terrace has an amazing view overlooking the Nile river and Elephantine island. The perfect place to enjoy the sunset over high tea after a long day of sightseeing. Excellent service. I emailed the hotel a few days in advance and made a booking online for the high tea - they expected me at the gate snd did not have to buy a ticket. The food was excellent, would recommend the more expensive option, I think it was worth it. The service was impeccable - Mohamed Abdelazim was the best! Visited early January. Such a beautiful place and in my case the perfect ending for my stay in Aswan.

Came here just for their sunset high tea. To enter Cataract Hotel, it is compulsory to buy a 700EGP voucher for each person. 2 choices of high tea set. One with shrimp pastery at US$50 and another at US$40 without the prawn and another goat cheese pastery. Definitely not worth the extra US$10. The rest of the pastries are not too bad but the fruits are not up to expectation. The watermelon, pineapple and melon dew are just bland. No sweetness like what good fruits should have. The ambiance is very relaxing and the view of Nile especially towards sunset is spectacular from the outdoor seating. This itself is worth being here. The service is superb as expected from a hotel of this stature.

This restaurant has outstanding scenery and service. The restaurant staffs are very professional and kind. I am very satisfied with their service. I ordered spaghetti bolognese and somehow it was smelly to me (only smelly to me. Not my colleague). I told them somehow it’s smelly so they served new one. But I already lose my appetite so I didn’t touch new one. When I received the cheque, they didn’t charge for my spaghetti. I didn’t meant to it but the restaurant staffs offer their best service. I really appreciate their kind service.

Grand Restaurant & Cafe is a renowned dining establishment located within the luxurious Sofitel Legend Old Cataract Hotel in Aswan. With a history spanning 15 years, this top-rated restaurant offers an extravagant dining experience that attracts visitors from around the world. The restaurant's ambiance exudes an age-old charm with its copper lanterns and oriental style-stained glass ceilings. It boasts a wide selection of exquisitely handcrafted French delicacies, redefining culinary art at a different level.
It's not my first time here however it really needs recognition. The place is an amazing one with the sunset view and the team is absolutely in my opinion the best place in Aswan. The food is amazing, the drinks are super. If you like it quite with no crowds try to go there before 8.30 PM if you like it quite to read like me. I always recommend it to my friends.

WARNING!! Do not eat there! ITS A SCAM! My husband and I are big foodies so our guide suggested a private beautiful lunch, which we found out was set up by our cruise manager (head of scamming because he gets paid) at the very end of our trip, after having to pay in advance an high price with guaranteed authentic great Egyptian food, we were taken to a rural area, and brought into this restaurant. Should have known right away when I noticed Not one other person was dining there. The scenery was horrible as well as the food.. watery hummus, cold store bought pita, salad with no dressing, chicken plain fried in a pan, French fries and plain white rice.. I thought they were joking. The windows and glass doors were so dirty. We realized it was a complete scam!! Don’t go by the other ratings, they were probably friends rating their place, and there was no roof top we were brought to, I honestly think those pictures were from somewhere else. It’s in the middle of a dirty village .
Heidi H — Google review
The service is good but the food is absolutely terrible. Very sad presentation and tasteless dishes. They usually take you for lunch here if you book a tour using an agency. Try asking to change the restaurant if possible.
Suciani A — Google review
Most probably if you ended up here it is part of a cruise experience of some sort, or an organised trip offering you a traditional Egyptian meal. You will get none of that, food is not great and prices are insane as you can see from the pictures. There are better restaurants 5 minutes by foot. If your cruise has a planned meal here, just skip and go to the Matta Restaurant 5 minutes away. Half the price double the quality
Niko F — Google review
We were taken here as part of the "lunch included" (but not drinks) in our city tour. The wait time for the set menu was incredibly long. The portions were very small. US$4 for juice is ridiculous.
Eriq — Google review
BEWARE! When they see foreigners walk in, they give you a menu which is ridiculously overpriced. They have another menu that they showed us by mistake after we paid and everything on that menu was 60-70% cheaper. For example a bottle of water is sold to foreigners at 60 Egyptian pounds, but on the other menu it's just 15. When we went back again, we specifically asked them for the other menu and paid a fraction of what we did the previous day. The food isn't anything special, below average at best. We went here a second time only to see how much they would charge us. There are many better restaurants in Aswan, so avoid this one if you can. Tour guides will trick you into going to this place as they get a commission. Tell them you want to eat elsewhere if you can.
Z G — Google review
The place is nice, but it specializes in scamming tourists. They have different prices for foreigners and "they are wrong" when making the bill.
Alejandro M — Google review
Brought here as part of a pre paid package. Very rude service. Food is below average. The chicken breast is plain and dry. Typical tourist menu. Purely a scam.

Krouma camp is an incredibly picturesque green area surrounded by granite rocks. This charming spot offers various amenities such as a beach, a restaurant serving delicious meals at affordable prices, and even a library. The campground can be easily reached by walking left from the Saheil ferry and following the cement road. One should pass by the Famine Stella museum before turning left again to cross over to the next island.
I highly recommend this place due to it's location, accommodation and friendly staff, it's quite far from central Aswan but it won't be a bug if you like to stay in a peaceful and calm place far from crowds and busy life. The staff made us feel at home, Mr sherif is exceptional friendly and helpful. The food was great and varied. I would like to thank the whole staff once again for the beautiful hospitality we felt during our 4 days stay. We will be back :)

Was a great stay, the rooms were large and airy, the staff were lovely and very helpful and the location was great. It was by far the most relaxed place we stayed in Egypt I wish we could have stayed longer.
Ru M — Google review
A completely heartless owner. During my stay, my money was stolen. I asked them to assist in coordinating with the police, but they simply said it was none of their business. A terrible hotel that only cares about making money and has no concern for its guests. If you plan to stay here, you’d better bet that your money won’t be stolen. Otherwise, you’ll just have to suffer the loss, because the owner has no conscience. I’ve been in Egypt for a month, and this was the worst experience I’ve had.

I came across this place by chance whilst travelling through Aswan. It is a version of paradise. The setting is amazing, the plants and flowers, kittens, birds, beautiful food and great drinks. You can even swim here or take a boat to the mainland. The hosts are very friendly and the whole vibe is very laid back, with great music. Would certainly come back!

We were brought by our tour guide to this wonderful space while visiting Aswan. They served the most flavorful food while we were in Egypt! The views are unparalleled and you can feel yourself communing with nature and its cats.
Deodat G — Google review
We stayed 4 nights in one of the cabins in Krouma Camp and enjoyed it a lot. The atmosphere is very relaxed (perfect after hectic Cairo) and the nature is beautiful there. You can even swim in the Nile - a must do (everyone tells you: don't swim in the Nile but we swam there everyday and we didn't have any problems, just try it but be aware, it's really cold but so refreshing). It is located on an island and you need a boat to go to the mainland (2 min) but it always worked very well. Sometimes the taxi drivers made problems with driving to where the boat leaves because the roads are a bit bad. But the manager can call a TukTuk for you to the main road for 20 EGP (about 10 minutes). The food was very delicious. The vision of the owners is to teach people about Nubian culture so that it won't get forgotten. One of them spent some evenings talking to us about Nubian culture. Esra, one of the owners, speaks English very well and sometimes translated for us. We booked a tour to Abu Simbel with them and everything worked well. Best hotel concerning the atmosphere and for everybody who seeks something different and natural.
Floresa B — Google review
Absolutely the perfect place to stay in Aswan! The Nile is just two steps away, the atmosphere is magical! You are in contact with nature, but also with all Nubian culture as music! The service is really friendly and the organization of the activities was great and adapted to all our wishes and possibilities!
Mariateresa A — Google review
What a totally beautiful green place surrounded by granite rocks. There's a beach, a restaurant with great food and good prices, and even a library. It's an easy walk, turn left from the Saheil ferry, follow the cement road, walk past the Famine Stella museum, turn left and cross to the next island, in winter there's no water in the channel, probably the same in summer. They also have a boat to pick you up from the mainland. There's nothing else on this small island, just this camp, it's green, clean and beautiful, with views on Aswan and Gharb Saheil. The owner Zizo is a musician and has a dream to turn this place into a hub for cultural exchange. They already have music events and seminars there. The food is the best I had in Egypt, the prices are very good too. The camp has some stone bungalows, a few tents, a beach and some rocks to climb, some with traces of pharaonic quarry works.

Koshary El-Safwa is a must-visit spot in Aswan for anyone craving authentic Egyptian cuisine. This eatery serves up delicious koshary at very reasonable prices, making it a favorite among locals and tourists alike. The atmosphere is clean and welcoming, with friendly staff who are more than capable of engaging in conversation in English. While the bustling environment can get quite loud, the generous portion sizes and flavorful sauces make it all worthwhile.
Fantastic place, really tasty food, friendly staff and you pay local prices even as a tourist. I can highly recommend eating here!
Pancerny M — Google review
The sizes of the koshary are very small, we ordered the "family size" to share for E£80 but it was only enough for 1 person (maybe he changed it for tourist prices?) It was our first koshary and was nice. It is vegetarian/vegan, with the tables are kept really clean which was great 🫧

Rice with milk is so good! pasta tajin is also good but koshary is testes not so good. I’ve been many koshary places in Egypt but this restaurant koshary portions too small (small size is not small,I’d say it’s super mini!). And they have local prices and foreigner prices(foreigner prices are 2-10LE higher than for local).it’s Egyptian business.

And the most important thing is the food is awful , it's pretty wired teste

Overall the food was fine, no problems at all, but also not the best we have eaten. We ordered a mix BBQ and the burger, both were good sized portions and came with the associated sides. The one sour note was the waiter confirming how we would like to pay, and offering credit card, great, our preferred method. He then went on to say, that he would like his tip in cash. I found the presumption of a tip a little off putting, I appreciate tipping is appreciated here in Egypt, but I feel you should leave that up to your guests rather than just assume.

The chef, Noha, brings three generations of family recipes to life in the flavorful dishes served in a comfortable and colorful Nubian setting. Guests can enjoy delicious meals such as fish and lamb while taking in great views from the terrace. Despite some slow service at times, visitors appreciate the fresh and familiar flavors of the food.
This has been the best meal I've had in Egypt thus far. Home cooked, flavorful, the right sized portions. Fish and Lamb are fantastic. Cairo-born chef Noha brings resplendent tastes of three generations of her family's recipes to us guests seated in a comfortable, clean, and colorful Nubian atmosphere. This place is a must.

I had the best Nubian food in my life. You literally eat very delicious home cooked meals with organic foods. The atmosphere is so relaxing and the service is very welcoming. I highly recommend this restaurant. Everything was perfect, one thing to keep in mind, it takes time to prepare the food because they are actually cooking it freah for YOU! :D

What a lovely place! We stopped for a snack as we were not very hungry and were completely surprised by the lovely food. We had the Nubian okra with bread and drinks. The bread was so delicious and so was the okra. The staff were very friendly and service was quick. The view was great as well as we sat out in the terrace.

While I’m the Nubian Village we googled ”Best restaurant near me”, and it certainly was! The food was outstanding and the staff were well trained. Great place to relax and get away from the crowds.

Food & drinks took over an hour & 15 minutes, with us 3 of being the only people in the entire place. Grilled chicken smelled funny. No bread with our tahini. We got a mix of grilled meat, with the smallest portion of beef & a huge plate of chicken. Would not go back. No offense to the teenage boy who was our server & the woman with her daughter in the kitchen cooking the meals for us.

The terrace and views are great but we waiting 45 minutes for our food. The chicken was undercooked, the kabob had bone or sand in it, the beef in the Tagine was really tough. The waitress was very kind and apologized.

The restaurant Strawberry is a great place to eat meat dishes. The view of the Nile is beautiful and the meat dishes are delicious.
Great place and beautiful view of the Nile Enjoy the calm while eating The place is colorful and beautiful I recommend this place

Pros: the place is quiet, has beer at reasonable price (60 LE), and the view over the Nile and Botanical gardens (the other island nearby) is good, it’s a good spot to observe the sunset. Cons: we ordered grilled fish and had to wait for 2 hours to get it, it felt like instead of grilling it was cooked in old oil as we both ended up with stomach ache later in the evening, and the food is definitely overpriced for what it is. There are better options for food in and around Aswan.

Pretty sure I was served the left-overs from the people that were eating when I arrived - for 285 EGP not worth the wait.

(Translated by Google) A chaos. Nobody understands anything, nobody speaks English. It seems that if you are a tourist you are in the way. They have to serve their native public first, who go before you to order, to be served, to have your food delivered and even to pay. Be careful because they will try to make you pay more for being a tourist. (Original) Un caos. Nadie entiende nada, nadie habla inglés. Parece que si eres turista estorbas. (Translated by Google) Foreigners, run! ! ! ! ! ! The English menu is five times the price of the local menu. When he pointed it out, the boss looked indifferent. In Aswan, it is normal for foreigners to pay half or even double the price, but the shrimp in this shop is 1,499 Egyptian pounds! ! It’s scary. It’s much more expensive than Switzerland.

(Translated by Google) Less than normal. High prices. Poor service. I canceled the authorities and want to be held accountable under the pretext of the bill. It is difficult to cancel it. Haha. Their shrimp are excellent. (Original) اقل من العادي اسعارمرتفعه خدمه ضعيفه لغيت سلطات وعايز يحاسب عليه بحجه الفاتوره صعب الغائهاهههه الجمبري ممتاز عنده
