Eastern Orthodox Church
Natural history museum
The Monastery of Ayia Napa, originally constructed in 1500 CE, has been transformed into a museum and garden. This historic landmark is a significant religious and architectural site in Cyprus, with a captivating legend about the discovery of an icon of the Virgin Mary. The monastery's Venetian-era architecture adds to its centuries-old charm. Visitors can also enjoy nearby attractions such as Aiya Napa beach, known for sunbathing, water sports, and shopping.
People there were so kind, specially the priest Vasilis. He read for us a prayer and then he spoke to us, consulted us and we felt like he knew us, like the God talk to us through him!
Danae S — Google review
The beautiful monastery, unfortunately, only the chapel can be partially visited, the other buildings are closed to tourists. In the chapel you can pray and light a candle "for a known intention"
Paweł P — Google review
We walked down from the hill toward the Ayia Napa Monastery, and on the way we passed a beautiful new-looking church with a round dome on the right. Just before reaching the monastery entrance, there’s a huge fig tree also on the right. The figs were small and the leaves looked quite different from the usual fig trees, I wish we could learn more about the story and the variety of the tree. A peaceful and enriching place, both culturally and spiritually. Definitely worth a visit! I also stopped by the gift shop, where the staff was very friendly and welcoming. He introduced me to a unique type of incense made from the dragon’s blood tree, the ones found on the island of Sokotra, Yemen. He explained how it's been collected from the tree, and burned over charcoal. The smell is fascinating for me.
NANA D — Google review
A peaceful oasis in the lively heart of Ayia Napa. The monastery is beautifully preserved and offers a wonderful sense of calm amid the energy of the town. The stone architecture, old sycamore tree, and shaded courtyards create a serene, almost timeless atmosphere. You can feel both history and spirituality here — it’s easy to imagine what life might have been like centuries ago. Whether you visit for a few quiet minutes, to take photos, or simply to reflect, this place is absolutely worth a stop.

Very nice olase to visit with family. Entry it's free Better go here afternoon I will visit this place again next time

There was an open air concert lasting a few days. Really great fun with lots of local market stalls. Some even have away some bits and tastes for free. Glad made the effort to walk up there

Beautiful. Not busy… open until late. Good energy.
Jullieth R — Google review
I have very fond memories visiting the monastery as a child and I'm was a bit disappointing to see that it was closed for renovations and after 3 years is still not open. The monastery is built on the old foundations of another small Byzantine church dedicated to Virgin Mary, and it was built in the middle of the village. When it was built in 1500 AD it was in a form of a Medieval castle. Outside the church is the famous ficus sycamore tree which is over 600 years old. November 2025 Returned to this lovely monastery and i'm was impressed how well they have restored it. Now it has a small museum with some old icons that gives you the history of the monastery, and who was Ayia Napa. Very interesting to watch the short films that they have provided. The museum is free to visit but their shop was closed.

The Sculpture Park in Ayia Napa is a captivating 20,000 square meter landscaped park featuring contemporary sculptures of mythical beasts and ancient gods. Situated at the crossroads of Cape Gkreko and Kryou Nerou Avenue, this park offers stunning sea views and a serene setting for leisurely strolls.
What a great location! The scenery is absolutely breathtaking, with the sculptures and the sea so beautifully mingled; and the entrance is free. The sculptures are made by artists from all around the world and there is so much talent to behold! I wish I would have had more time to admire every detail, but the sun was very hot around 2-3 PM, so I tried to be fast. I would definitely go back to visit it, it is worth the trip!
Ioana P — Google review
Very interesting place to visit, much bigger than you can tell from the outside. Free entrance, clean toilets and parking nearby. A lot of beautiful sculptures from international artists, although I would like that it has some instructions or directions where to go, otherwise you can literally go around and still miss something. With cactii park, it really is something different from other vivid parts of Aya Napa, worth visiting. Take some time to enjoy, at least 1 hour.
Marija S — Google review
Absolutely loved it! A unique open-air art experience overlooking the sea. Each sculpture is different and worth spending time to appreciate — beautifully set against the stunning coastal view. We were lucky to visit on a breezy day; otherwise, it can get quite hot, so best to go early morning or late afternoon. We spent about 3–4 hours here enjoying the creativity and peaceful surroundings, then walked a bit further to the Lover’s Bridge to catch the sunset — a perfect Cyprus-style evening! There’s easy and free parking nearby with ample space. Entry is also free, making it a great family-friendly outing. A must-visit in Ayia Napa if you enjoy art, photography, or simply beautiful views.
Parul A — Google review
An excellent place to visit, just on the outskirts of Ayia Napa👍 The GOOD👍: So many Sculptures, it's free, there are Toilets, There are lots Drinking Water Fountains. The BAD👎: Nothing In DETAIL🔎: This is a brilliant place to visit👍, there are hundreds of Sculptures from all around the world to view👍 It's easy to get to, the Buses 101 & 102 stop right outside, so handy if you're in Ayia Napa or Protaras 👍 Some of the Sculptures are really amazing 😎 There are decent Toilets on site (which is handy👍) there is also Drinking Water Fountains spread around the Park 👍 There are Benches spread around the Park which is great, but there's a great shaded Bench by the Stream (that runs under the Argo Bridge) - a great place to chill or have a Picnic 😎 It can get hot there so avoid Midday 🥵 TOP TIP: There aren't any Sign Posts to direct you, so you can find yourself walking down the same Paths🤦‍♂️ If you view Google Maps in 'Satellite' Mode, you can plan your route much better 👍
LuDster — Google review
A beautiful and peaceful place, early morning visit, so many sculptures!! I was amazed that it was free to go in and wander around. The sculptures are by various artists from different countries. I have to say my favourite thing was The Argo Bridge. I have always been a fan of Jason and the Argonauts and this was such a beautiful homage to it ❤️ Personally one of my favourite things I did whilst in Cyprus.
Suzie P — Google review
It was a pretty cool experience and I liked the path a lot. A cool feature was that we could see the ethnicity of the different artists. We liked the sculptures a lot. The whole concept was cool and the path was about 20-30 mins walk if you look with ease and are interested. All in all very recommendable. Bus station directly in front of the park.
Renis L — Google review
A fascinating blend of art, nature, and sea views! The Ayia Napa Sculpture Park, together with the nearby Cactus Park, is a truly interesting and unexpected attraction. Spread over a hill overlooking the Mediterranean, it combines hundreds of creative stone sculptures with native desert plants and cacti. You can easily spend an hour wandering among artworks from international artists while enjoying panoramic sea views and fresh air. Peaceful, open, and inspiring — a perfect spot for photos, a quiet walk, or a sunset visit.
G W — Google review
Great for a walk at sunset ! In a large space totally unused a very good idea with this sculpture park. Some of the sculptures are really amazing ✅ The view of the coast is wonderful! Entrance is free. 🎟️ Worth a visit if you are in Ayia Napa. Visited November 2025

Located about 7.5km from Ayia Napa, the Sea Caves at Cape Greco offer a dramatic coastal landscape with rugged bluffs and natural formations overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. These caves are popular among divers and cliff jumpers, attracting both locals and tourists. The area also features Hellenistic and Roman tombs, adding to its historical significance. Visitors can enjoy a leisurely walk while taking in the captivating scenery shaped by nature over time.
Beautiful part of the coastline. The colour of the water below is amazing and it seems to be very clean. Up by the viewpoint near the parking lot, however, we saw some trash that seemed to be left behind by tourists, which is a shame. This is a popular place to jump and dive, but I wouldn’t really recommend doing this. It seems dangerous and not worth an injury or worse just for a video for social media. And I couldn’t understand how they came up to the viewing point from down below, it mustn’t be easy. Just enjoy the views and do not litter 😊
André M — Google review
The Sea Caves in Ayia Napa are an absolute highlight and a must-see for anyone visiting the area! We drove there with a buggy on an unpaved road and couldn’t believe our eyes – the water is incredibly clear and shines in the most beautiful shades of turquoise. The natural beauty of the place is simply breathtaking. If you’re in Ayia Napa and don’t visit the Sea Caves, you’re truly missing out. A full 5 stars and my highest recommendation!
Ibo Ü — Google review
The sea caves did disappoint me. Nothing special really. But I get that to a lot of people it is wonderful. Its a good 15 minute ealk from the bus station. By car you can get there pretty fast and there are a lot of parking slots. Walking back to the bus station might be a little bit stressful because of the heat and its uphill.
Renis L — Google review
Perfect spot if you enjoy cliff diving! There are plenty of people always there however few of them ever jump, the cliff is around 11 meters, great if you are just starting out. The water is perfect in the summer especially in August. You can usually find parking but the location is hard to get to if you don't have a car.
Cristea — Google review
If you're visiting Ayia Napa, a trip to the Sea Caves is definitely worth it. You can get there easily by taking bus 101 from Ayia Napa, and return with bus 102. A single ride costs €2, but if you're planning to explore more, a daily ticket for €6 is a good deal. From the bus stop, there's a short walk of about 0.7 km to reach the cliffs. Make sure to bring water and a hat if you're going between 11 AM and 5 PM, as the temperatures can be extremely hot during those hours. Once you reach the area, you'll be greeted with a stunning view of the sea and impressive rock formations. The caves beneath the cliffs cannot be entered, but they are still beautiful to look at from above. It's a great spot for photos and to enjoy the natural beauty of the coastline.
Cami — Google review
Great place to visit and swim You can also jump from the cliff, around 10 meters high A lot of place for parking, beautiful colors and beautiful nature There are no showers, no caffes, but if you need something it has a van, like a shop for drink or water
Jovan J — Google review
Amazing view You can either jump from the top or go down to the lower part.
Ayah E — Google review
It is a good place for the "Instagram" photos. One small cave and that's it. You will spend there 10 minutes to make a photo and wait in a line if there are a lot of people.

With the purchase of a Premium Wristband, guests can enjoy unlimited access to selected attractions, ensuring an evening filled with excitement and fun. The park features various rides such as the Sling Shot, giant Ferris wheel, merry-go-round, bumper cars, and train rides.
Amazing view from the Ferris wheel! The view from the top is absolutely breathtaking - definitely worth it! The token prices are quite reasonable, which is a nice surprise. I only wish there were more attractions to enjoy. Overall, a great experience!
Sienna B — Google review
Well located, easy to find thanks to the Big Wheel which can be seen from a distance. Rides and carousels with prices of 3-4 euros per 3-5 minute ride, very loved by children. For those under 8 years old it is worth buying an access bracelet with 25 euros per day for all the rides suitable for their age. There is no shade there during the day and at night it is extremely hot and humid. But there is a fast food with air conditioning and normal prices
Mircea S — Google review
The park is fun for kids, but the prices are way too high. The worst part: an unfriendly staff member refused to let our child in because they weren’t wearing socks – even though the day before it was allowed. She insisted we buy socks for €2. Pure rip-off. Really disappointing, especially for the kids.
CD C — Google review
Lots available for young and old. Prices reasonable, clean park, lots of food and drinks available. Easy access from the main strip. Great views from the big wheel. Best waiting till the sun goes down to avoid the heat, also much better vibe when all lit up at night
Danielle A — Google review
Fun for all ages! In the middle of the season, we did not have to wait more that 2/3 minutes to get on any of the rides. Fun colours and amazing rides! The staff was always nice, double checking the safety features for each ride before it started. We went on the yellow rollercoaster (very fast and fun), the crazy frog (truly crazy moves, it was super nice!), the mini roller coaster and on the cars. It was so fun! Nice music, nice lighting, I highly recommend it! And the prices were decent as well.
Patricia P — Google review
Amusement park is easily accessible by buses, and its easy to spot in the distance. Rides are nice, there are mini roller coasters, haunted house ride, fishing game, spinning rides, and of course, a large Ferris Wheel. The issue is with the cost of tokens, or actually the policy that you have to accompany the kid that’s under 115cm and of course pay the same price. That really gets expensive, and fast. Secondly, 4 year olds and 5 yo have to be accompanied either way, no matter if they are higher than 115cm because they are too small to be riding alone in the first place. I understand that pricing is like that for a Ferris Wheel, but caterpillar ride and such, yup, burns a hole in your budget. Price per day if you wanna catch 10 rides is around 30-40 euros. Park is super clean, and everybody is also very kind.
Tihana L — Google review
Nice experience for all ages. Limited number of rides but still great fun. Worth spending an evening there.
Rafi B — Google review
A lot of fun rides, kind staff and a general uplifting atmosphere. It wasn't too crowded when we went, and the kids had a blast.

Nature preserve
Cape Cavo Greco, located east of Agia Napa and southeast of Protaras, is a stunning national park and conservation area spanning 385 hectares. The rugged peninsula features cliffside hikes, a turquoise lagoon, and a natural rock bridge. Visitors can explore nature trails lined with Calabrian pine trees and Phoenician junipers, perfect for hiking and cycling. The Aphrodite Nature Trail offers a scenic route along the southeast coast of the promontory.
Lovely scenic, grand picturesque views. Managed to get some lovely shots at Cape Greco, especially upon an edge of a cliff - still beautiful later on in the day!
Ella — Google review
Absolutely beautiful spot with breathtaking sea views and crystal-clear water — perfect for swimming and snorkeling. Plenty of parking available nearby. Great for nature lovers, short hikes, or just relaxing by the cliffs. A must-visit when in Ayia Napa!
Parul A — Google review
It was a nice view point to check, but it's only for snorkeling and you can't stay there comfortable because of the rocks. But again, very nice views and crystal clear water. We wanted to arrive to the Sea Caves, but here are not the Sea Caves. We came by a car and the road it's very tight, so be careful. And it's a lot of place to park around really close to the Cape Cavo Greco. So don't be afraid you won't have a parking spot. We don't recommend to walk till there because the sun it's very hot, and you have to walk a lot. There was a lot of people also, and a lot of boats. We still enjoyed and had a great time .
Bianca T — Google review
Such a wonderful place. You can go there anytime and it’s gonna be gorgeous, especially at the winter time when it’s not that crowded (just try to go when it’s not cloudy so you can see sunset)
Evnykiia R — Google review
Beautiful place! Dangerous to swim since it is very slippery and easy to hurt your legs. But very scenic and amazing for pictures
Samanta — Google review
Do visit the Cape Cavo Greco. Don’t do it without a car or your own transportation. I took a bus from Aiya Napa to the visitor center, trekked out to the blue lagoon and over to the sea caves, and back to the sea caves bus stop and back to Aiya Napa. It’s totally possible, but it was 4+ miles of hiking in the sun (no shade - wear sunscreen) on unmarked paths (download offline maps or have cell service), and I wore my flip flops (wear gym shoes). The paths are dusty, rocky, uneven, and have some thorns. I saw no one else on the 2+ miles between the blue lagoon and sea caves hike. Also, take water. You’ll want it! The sights are beautiful and it’s nice to get out in nature, but be prepared for the sun, heat, and trails if you opt to go on foot!
Julia W — Google review
You have to visit Cape Cavo Greco and Blue lagoon and to swim in the so clear water that you can see the bottom 20 my below. Beautiful !!

Green Bay is a picturesque small bay located to the south of Fig Tree Beach in Cyprus. It offers a serene escape from the more touristy beaches in Ayia Napa and Protaras, with its idyllic setting backed by dense trees. The area is known for its volcanic rock formations and is also home to turtles, making it a popular spot for scuba diving. Visitors can enjoy snorkeling and may even spot some underwater sculptures.
Amazing. Thia is the right word. Stunning colors, beautiful rocks.
József P — Google review
Amazingly beautiful place and very fortunate to see 2 turtles in the morning. Lovely coffee at the shack there too. But must say we were very disappointed in the amount of rubbish/litter around the bay. Considering there is commercial activities, like diving, run from there to view the beautiful wildlife and area, you’d think they would make more of a concerted effort to keep it clean 😕
Hannah W — Google review
Very good bah with lots of wildlife and a good place to swim, nice beach next to it with plenty of toilets and lifeguards on the beach and paddle boards for hire
Harvey N — Google review
Visited on the 19th Oct 2025 The bay stretches for quite a while and even though it can get busy with divers, swimmers and people enjoying all kinds of water sports, you can still easily find a spot for yourself and have a great time. The color of the water is incredible! It's vibrant turquoise with blue and green shades and it's crystal clear. We've rented a pedal boat (€25/hr) and it was well worth it as you can easily explore the area while jumping into the crystal clear blue water. There's also a sandy beach, free shower and toilets, big free parking place,a snack bar and water gear rental shops. ABSOLUTELY WORTH VISITING whether just for a picture, a quick swim or a whole day of diving or sunbathing.
Anna K — Google review
Everyone promised us turtles if you come in right time and right month. We did all that and no turtle in sight, but beach is still nice, you can also find underwater sculptures. Personally I think there are better beaches tho:)
Klára N — Google review

A lovely beach. A good chance of seeing turtles. For snorkellers and divers there are sculptures beneath the water to spot.

I have added this missing point on google maps after i got the exct coordination from our airbnb host which he was a local fisherman, now the place is public to everyone, We have seen 4 turtle directly on our first visit we spent half day snorkelling in this area. There are also some sculptor under water. Amazing place you will also see lots of divers. Luna Park is a small amusement park that offers fun and adventure for kids, teenagers, and even older visitors. The park features a variety of rides including ferris wheels, carousels, and the popular "caterpillar" ride. With affordable prices for tokens or unlimited wrist bands, it's a great spot for families to enjoy an evening out. The facilities are well-maintained and the staff is friendly, making it a pleasant experience for all visitors.
Fun park! Lots of slides for all ages. My smallest, aged 6, found slides she could do on her own and was very independent. My biggest, aged 11, did all the sludes including the tallest, fastest ones. We visited October, and the park was not crowded and we had no queuing for slides. The park has public transportation from Agia Napa and also from Protaras (bus stop in the parking lot). We spent the whole day there. Came home happy.
Noam B — Google review
This is a small Luna park that’s overpriced for the rides and games that they have. The kids will have fun though if you’re in the area.
Tony R — Google review
We have a 3 and a 5 year old and they could only go about half the stuff. Would advise a walk through before buying tokens first
Colin R — Google review
Have to say disappointing… €30 for wrist band ages 7-11 quite expensive for the rides and height restrictions. Staff were too busy on their phones playing games than watching the rides and children making us feel like we were an inconvenience to request to go on a ride and also some were rude! No smiles apart from one out of the 20 or so workers. Rides finished and guests having to unhook themselves and even open gates to release themselves from the rides as the person in charge is too busy on their phones to notice the rides finished or people standing next to them to get on the rides. I get people can’t be smiling all the time but the fact they are all on their phones is not great!
Lucy W — Google review
Nice mini fair ground. Rides require token 12 token for 10 euros
Nigel R — Google review
Good selection of rides but not cheap. Managed 3 rides for 2 people, 20 euro. The Mini Coaster was quite unusual - started off like a Wild Mouse but then some fast drops and turns. The operator didn't check the lap bar was locked which has never happened to us before. Edit: Back to the park one year on and the operator on the coaster still didn't check the lap bar was locked. Also went on the bumper cars this time - pretty fast and worth a go
Steve B — Google review
Very nice place to spend couple of hours. It's more for kids but I was enjoying the colliding cars and the octopus (not an official name)

Nissi Bay in Ayia Napa, Cyprus is a top attraction known for its stunning shores. It is the most popular beach in the area and offers a unique experience even at night, especially during the off-peak season. The region boasts 14 Blue Flag beaches, including Nissi Bay, which is surrounded by other beautiful coastal spots like Konnos Bay and Glyki Nero.
(Translated by Google) A beautiful beach, neat and sandy. The water is crystal clear. A large part of the beach is shallow, so it is suitable for children. There are a lot of sunbeds and plenty of places to sit on the sand. Hearty recommendation 😀 (Original) Prelepa plaža, uredna i peskovita. Voda je prozirno čista. Veliki deo plaze je plitak tako da je pogodna za decu. Ima puno lezaljki ali i dosta mesta da se smestite na pesku. Srdačna preporuka 😀

The sea is turquoise and warm, inviting you to stay in it for hours. Fantastic tip: 2 sun loungers and an umbrella cost ONLY 7.50 euros on the entire island, even if you're on the most beautiful beach in Cyprus. Behind the beach is a nice bar where they play house music in the afternoon and then make foam for those who dance on the dance floor. A fantastic beach, definitely worth a visit.

Wow - there is already a lot going on here at the beginning of April. The beach and water is a dream. Very nice - the Nissi Bay Beach Bar is also great. Always cool music and a good atmosphere. I'll be back. Best regards Frank Koop (Original) Hallo, bin im April 2025 das erste Mal auf Zypern und bin sehr begeistert. Gestern war ich am Nissi Beach. Kapparis (M.M.A.D) Beach is a small but vibrant spot with a lively nightlife scene offering various entertainment options, from bars and clubs to cosy taverns. The beach itself features a small rocky bay with pebbled shores that provide a foot massage as you walk into the clean, calm waters. It's an excellent spot for snorkeling due to its clear waters and visibility of small fish.
This is a small, cute beach that wasn’t too crowded when we went in the beginning of September. While the water was clear and calm, we couldn’t see much marine life through our snorkeling mask. Nice place to swim, though.

Beautiful little public beach. Very peaceful not busy when we were there late September. Place to park the cars before you walk down. With a good value cafe at the top. Mix of stones and sand. With a nice shallow decent into the sea. Lots of rock formations under the sea bed which is great for snorkeling. Enjoy 😎🏖️.

I was thinking about leaving a review as I would like selfishly to keep this beach from others as it would be a shame if it becomes popular/overcrowded at some point 😬 Our favourite beach on Cyprus. It is small, sandy, it has a natural shadow in the afternoon. The water is clear and shallow. It’s a very nice place to swim and chill out. Above the beach there is a super nice bar, with an amazing view. Even though we prefer to visit a different beach every day, this one we visited almost every afternoon to enjoy and relax. I would say the locals are mainly visiting it, so over the weekend it can get crowded.

Very nice, small beach. Lots of parking space, quite steep walking path down to the beach from parking space. Parking is free, sunbeds and umbrellas 2,50€/per item. The beach is sandy, no visible stones. Very clear water. Kids and adults like to snorkle and watch the little fish. We came to the beach on Saturday morning (11th of Oct) around 10.00 and got the last 4 sunbeds. Little shower for feet is for free, normal shower 0,50€/40sec. Free toilets and lovely beach bar up top on the rock.

Small but very clean beach and water. Restaurant a the top is handy to grab a quick bite or evening meal.

Excellent beach. Perfect for swimming and snorkeling. Very clean. WC on site and good little beach bar for lunchtime snacks and drinks
John M — Google review
Definitely worth a visit, not as busy as some of the beaches on Protaras, plenty of sand, sunbeds and umbrellas available to rent for €2.50 per item. There are toilet facilities and a beautiful cafe serving hot and cold food. Highly recommended
