Unpleasant experience - subpar food, mediocre service, and questionable atmosphere. Would strongly advise against dining here. We opted for the mezza menu for two, which came with a fixed number of rounds. Regrettably, each round left much to be desired. In fact, we couldn't bring ourselves to finish half of the courses due to their lack of flavor and appeal. Adding to our disappointment was the exorbitant pricing of the dishes, which felt unjustified given the quality. While the ambiance was passable, the presence of cats roaming around the establishment did little to instill confidence in its hygiene standards. In conclusion, I strongly recommend seeking out alternative dining options, regardless of the restaurant's convenient location for resort guests.

Great food! We were pleasantly surprised, I had the chicken kebab which was lovely and my partner had the beef stew that that was unreal.

Superb food & very welcoming, friendly staff. Cannot recommend this place enough, Demetri catered to all our needs, especially as we were a large booking. Will definitely be back soon!

I wouldn’t recommend it at all. I gave 2 stars because staff is friendly but food is far from good and way too overpriced. It seems like they just don’t care as they are working with the tourists. Every time I went for dinner I ended up disappointed. There are other local taverns with better value for money and better food around.

We love this pub, the service is amazing the men that work in there are so lovely. We have been multiple times and tried multiple items, all has been fantastic apart from the fajitas which where quite tough. The steak and cheese wrap is my partner’s favourite! The cocktails are always on point!

This pub had a lovely atmosphere, the staff were all friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and a good range to choose from. It was all served hot and very well presented! The prices are a little on the expensive side but definitely worth paying that bit extra for!

Anoi Pub is located in the food center of Aphrodites Hills Resort. Since we had a wedding the next day, we decided to go for a chill pub dine-in option, so Anoi Pub was the best option…at least we though it would be. The pub was full, since there was a premier league game but the staff seemed few for the capacity of the pub. We were a company of 7 people which we order 2 wings portion and 1 cheese sticks portion for starters and main course for each of us. Cheese sticks was a portion of 6, but only 5 pieces came and after we mentioned it to the waitress, she immediately ordered another portion on the house of course. Wings were below average, really small and not enough meat on them (as you can see from photos). Next, was the main course, I have ordered the “steak and cheese wrap” which included french fries and coleslaw, sandwich was pretty good but french fries were cold, never though until now I could not complete a portion of french fries 😢😭 We ordered a “Caesar salad” which was room temperature which made it really weird and unpleasant 🥗 We also ordered “Angus Burger” with egg…gosh please make that an Angus burger 🤞🏼patties were like elastic and egg was over cooked 🍔Last but not least, we ordered chicken fajitas which was ok and shrimp fajitas which was ok but had only 4 medium size shrimps 🍤 Overall, staff was very friendly and helpful but I would only recommend Anoi Pub for beers and watch football games ⚽️

I recently visited Anoi at Aphrodite Hills ! Everything about the experience was absolutely outstanding from the welcoming atmosphere to the attentive service and, most importantly, the incredible food. Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and cooked to absolute perfection. If I could, I would come here every single day! The combination of delicious food, relaxed yet elegant vibes, and top-notch service makes Anoi a true gem. Highly, highly recommended a must-visit if you're anywhere near Aphrodite Hills! Ps. Had a great pint and wine with a friend and enjoyed watching some football. All round great service and a very enjoyable experience. The next evening I popped back and the atmosphere was wonderful, tonight I enjoyed cocktails - Alex creates stunning cocktails and even if it's not on the menu, if they have the ingredients they will make it. All round wonderful experience!!

Definitely not recommend. The cashier was a very unfriendly and unmotivated worker. Given the quality of the food, the price was excessive. We paid €17= for 2 chicken souvlaki in a plain pitta bread ( no salad no French fries no sauce).

Ordered the mix platter for 2. After a 45 min wait the food arrived cold and looked like dog scraps with very little meat content just fat. 25 Euro for horrible food.

Tonight we had dinner at Gabriel’s, the second taverna in Kouklia village square this week, on holiday in apartment at Aphrodite Hills. Food at Gabriel’s was delicious and incredibly good value for little money. We had half carafe of wine, shared hot mezze of baked haloumi, giant beans and garlic mushrooms, plus garlic bread. I had vegetarian moussaka and chips. Hubby had mixed grill and chips. TOO much food, we took a ‘doggy bag’ away with us. The whole bill was only 52 euros 😀.

Perfect taverna for a Cypriot Mez Lunch. Get the large one...nice spread. Quiet cute town. Super friendly host. Don't Miss!

Tried the food on a weeks holiday with the family absolutely super food and atmosphere

We ate here twice on our 2025 holiday. The food is great, beef stifado is really delicious & there are children's menu options available too. Service very friendly and excellent value for money. Easy car parking a stones throw from the square. Definitely recommend booking in advance as this place seems popular. We'll be back next year.

Excellent, genuinely very very good, we went on a Saturday, we didn't book however it's probably advised. The food was great, atmosphere we lovely. They made a fuss of my wife for her birthday. Will certainly be back. Mixed grill hit the spot for me.

Well, my friends, my wife and me visited this one in one of the cozy spring evening in May. It's a family business that's why I guess there is so cozy and staff/ family provide u a highest level of hospitality ♥️ It's a nice place with a good kitchen, authentic photos and some historical agriculture stuff in the restaurant area 🌻 I would like to recommend to visit this one P.S. Complementary orange cake was so delicious! 😋

Lovely taverna in village centre. The food was great value for money. We had 2 courses and half carafe of wine for just 49 euros. Our main courses were only 15 euros each and we shared mix of local appetisers for starter. The sea bass, cooked to order, was delicious, with yummy fried chips. Recommended.

It's a very traditional, colorful, authentic restaurant in one of the most famous villages in Cyprus. Restaurant is on the main square which shares with few other places, but this one is the best representative of Cypriot food that you can get there. It has wonderful feel sitting on the square while being served by very friendly and hospitable staff. Menu is good and standard, with few exceptions from local cuisine of the area. All main dishes and meet is fresh, so no issues there. Very nice experience and would definitely be come back again 😀

It’s one of the best places I’ve tried traditional Cypriot food. The food here is much tastier than in the city restaurants – very authentic, fresh, and truly delicious. The atmosphere is warm, friendly, and family-like, which makes you feel at home. I will definitely come back and highly recommend it!

Update: Yep, as promised I returned - and Ms Maria welcomed us like old friends. Totally consistent and excellent food like the previous time. Those home made fries - amazing!! Will be back - again! —————————-/// Excellent food, excellent location, excellent setting. Massive pork chop cooked to delicious perfection. The chicken was marinated nicely and not dry and tasteless which happens a lot in Cyprus. Beer glasses were chilled in the freezer and helped to cool us down in the sweltering heat. The halloumi salad was very tasty and well presented. Highly recommend a visit to the ancient sites nearby and lunch or dinner here. You can’t go wrong. Maria (?) the owner is lovely, she can take a joke and works hard - serving, cooking, cleaning etc. Will be back with more tourists soon!

If you want a village experience and taste of local food - Efraim is the place. On every Thursday they organise a buffet - eat as much as you can with plenty of tables set on the street and around the main square. Live bad playes traditional Greek songs. Beautiful experience. The buffet comes with plenty of options....

Unique salad, good food and very chill atmosphere.

Nice place in a typical old style village, with a modern international menu mixed with Cyprus food. I highly recommend the smoothies, and the Meze for sharing. Average price, nice service and installation.

I visited here for lunch the other day with some friends. New to the area we didn't know where to go, we found this place on Google and the photos looked good so off we went. Upon arrival in the village there was many other places to choose from, but we stuck to our plan and went inside. The restaurant is very large with multiple indoor seating and an outdoor terrace. The staff were very friendly and helpful. At the time we were the only customers which seemed shocking to us as its a huge venue with a vast menu. I guess it's seasonal? I opted for the mammoth burger as I was pretty hungry. My friends ordered various sandwiches and salads all of which are very well priced, I would even say cheap. The burger arrived after a little while and it certainly lived upto its name. It was HUGE! accompanied by chips and side salad, I was more than happy with the value of the meal. The food itself was genuinely fantastic, the burger cooked to perfection and the taste was sensational. All of us thoroughly enjoyed our food and returned a week later with more of of friends in tow. I had the same main again because it was genuinely that good. This time I managed a dessert too, which I can also say was brilliant. Their choices are fantastic and the staff more than helpful. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxed environment with well priced food and drink. Coffee's are available too for afterwards.

We took our kids here for a meal, the milkshakes were delicious, as was the food, service was very friendly. The mammoth burger was so huge I could not finish it! Great value, well worth a visit - recommend sitting outside if there's a breeze

The place itself is lovely but the food was not. Probably we were just unlucky as it was 8 am: the bagel was so stale - could not bite/cut it, pancakes & waffles were also not freshly cooked. The lady was very nice though. Payed ~€20 eur for 2 cappuccino and 2 dishes.

Stopped for food and was very pleasantly surprised. Good quality, and just the right amount of food at a fair price. I would recommend it.

We have seen sign to the restaurant from the road. So we thought why not to try it?. I have ordered cheeseburger. What I got served already did not look good.But I was hangry so I try it after few bites I could not eat it. Piece of meat was burnt and the taste was bad really bad. The meat was Pork (I do not understand why?) My boyfriend had Beef and it was also nothing special and a fat meat. Fot the quality the prices are high! I recommend to go there and have a drink. The view is really nice.

We’re at a restaurant overlooking Aphrodite’s Rock, and we absolutely loved it. The atmosphere is great — good music, excellent service. The fish was fresh and perfectly cooked. The local keftalia was just incredible. And the dessert — a homemade carrot cake — was unbelievably fresh and delicious. Highly recommended!

Excellent view of the Aphrodite's rock and the coastline. We had the traditional moussaka and some appetizers. Service is good. The environment is quiet. There's free parking on premises. Quite a nice place to stop by instead of going down to the rock.

Do not recommend! Only good thing was the view.. Food was too expensive for something like that and place was dirty. Dessert was fine, but nothing special, better go to city Paphos and eat there some good food

This is the best seafood restaurant. We visit it often and highly recommend it! Endless views of the sea and mountains. The seafood is cooked exquisitely and melts in your mouth—every gourmet will appreciate it! The hospitality is very warm and heartfelt.

Very disappointing experience. We paid €60 for two people for fish meze, and the portions were extremely small – six small fish, two tiny pieces of calamari, two pieces of octopus, and two mussels that were poorly cooked and slimy. The fish were uncleaned, which made it even worse. The food definitely did not match the high price. On top of that, the whole place was dirty and poorly maintained. I wouldn’t recommend it, especially considering the price and food quality.

Good food with a great setting in Aphrodite Hills. We did not have a reservation but we managed to get a table quickly (reservations are however recommended). Service was fine (some staff could be a bit more friendlier) but a bit slow. Food was good and tasty. Prices are reasonable considering this is in Aphrodite Hills.

Pretty nice café overall. The views around are beautiful. The food was good — the risotto portion was huge. We also had a pizza, which was fine but nothing special. The only downside was the very slow service, even though only about a third of the tables were taken.

Amazing food, great place. Shame the ambiance is totally killed as there are really bad behaving kids playing ballgames and roll on the floor screaming right next to your table. The ball hit us several times so the enjoyment of the dinner was impossible. When you host such ignorant parents management should get involved and save other guests by restricting ball games and running around other people tables.

Nice pizza, if you are lucky to order one… waited for a bottle of water for 10 minutes while 3 different staff members refused to take our order saying “my colleague will come and take your order”. It took 15 minutes for the right person to show up :(

Great pizzas to be enjoyed here. It's all part of the giant hotel/villa complex so no local feel to it but service was super good.

Tavern is is small lovely village. First impression was really bad. I have parked a car with red plates car (I am living in Larnaca bur this day I had group of tourists), lady from restaurand stared to shout that parking is private for restaurants guests. Afterwords i have ordered 4 meze, we were 5 adults and 3 teenagers. We received first cold appetizers (as usual). Pots of olives, hummus, tahini, beetroots was TINY. It was not even a spoon of each one to try (i am saying for 4 meze not like for people - I know i ordered less meze than people but usually on Cyprus no one order same amount of meze as people who come to tavern). I asked lady whi served to be sure that she understand me well while ordering the meze. She was quite grumpy that I had complain. I asked her how the cold appetizers for two meze looks like while colds appetizers for four persons was not enough? She was surprised while I said that I ate meze in maaany places on Cyprus. She finally changed her mind and brought us another amount of cold appetizers so everyone had a chance to try it. Another impressions: lovely food, perfect souvlaki, sheftalies amazing, ribs, lamb chops - everything was really tasty. Afterwards we got two plates of fruits and delicious bourekia with anari cheese. I can truly recommend the place even with that wrong first impression which I experienced. Hopefully the lady who served us food - will have a chance to read that and improve her communication skills and impression of the lovely family tavern not to loose future guests.

Not good - would not recommend. We couldn’t even eat our food, paid and left. The meat was tasteless and like it was frozen or recooked - no idea but was not decent at all. And I’m not even a picky eater!

We came to this Tavern as it was the only one open on Monday (they don't work on Mondays in this villeage). We took meat meze for 2 people as we were very hungry. Unfortunatelly, the food was almost non-edible. Bread was hard and not fresh, after asking for fresh bread explainaton was that it is home-made. We found a hair in the salad. The "spreads" were tasting really bad, we thought it's just not our preference. But, then the meat came, it was completely unedible, I believe it was not fresh, but deffinitely not tasty at all. I tasted everything but had to spit out some meat. In the end everything was untuched, we payed the bill and left. Waitress didn't even ask what's wrong. I'm sorry but this is the only one-star I ever left for a restaurant, maybe it was such a day, but it really deserved it.

The SOUVLAKI plate for 10€ was excellent because it was very diet-friendly. 🥗 With no spices, no excessive salt, and, most importantly, it came at a great price and without yogurt marinade, making it suitable for people with allergies. 💰 The food here is genuinely prepared by locals, so you can be sure of its authenticity. 👨‍🍳 The potatoes in the souvlaki were slightly overcooked, but they were homemade, not store-bought, which made them delicious. 🥔

The food was quite delicious, and we were fortunate that this restaurant was open because we arrived during the off-season, which meant this was the only restaurant open at 10 PM. We tried the lamb chops amazing. The staff was very pleasant and even surprised us with a complimentary dessert.

The best slavonian (Eastern European) food I have ever tried in Cyprus by miles! The soup with pickled peppers is ‘the dish to die for! The Napoleon cake is very yummy too. Also, I’d strongly recommend to try the white mulled wine. Yes, I know that it’s a Xmas drink, but for some reason they had it today and I actually enjoyed it.

Pleasantly surprised to find an authentic, Ukrainian spot in Kouklia. I arrived here this week from NYC to visit relatives and they brought me here for desert. The black current tart and cottage cheese pastry (“sochneek”) were to die for!!

This lovely cafe serves yummy dishes including Russian salad, Borsh, Kiev cutlets, stews and many more. I enjoyed vegan Borsh and zucchini patties. It must be booked during the weekend as it gets crazily busy. I highly recommend Eda cafe!

Really cute restaurant in Kouklia, very interesting flavors, different than any other and they also have their own products!
