Very nice mosque, I think it has been forgotten by the state, isn’t as clean and good looking as it was once upon a time. I hope it changes, but from a historic perspective it was very nice to see that it is still an active worship place. I feel like they should clean the name board of the mosque, it was full of dust…

It's nothing you haven't seen before, but it's worth the time, we couldn't go in due to our belief, but the gardens were really nice and well-maintained. I would also recommend walking along the salt lake path in summer and in winter...overall, not a bad experience, but nothing crazy.

Placed by salt lake, good time to sit on the bench and relax for the while. If flamingo 🦩 season -> extra special. If want to visit mosque than good dress is mandatory 😉

It is slightly off the beaten track but is still worth the effort to visit as it is a very nice mosque indeed. Perhaps it isn't as clean as it may have been in the past but still it was OK. Our only mistake was that my wife was not dressed properly and was refused entry. and so many stray cats around .... not pleasant.

Beautiful setting by the edge of the Salt Lake. Peaceful and scenic place, especially around sunset. Remember: ladies must wear full-length pants covered clothing to enter — no entry otherwise.

The Hala Sultan Tekke mosque, which is very beautiful, is located near the salt lake. It is essential to wear an appropriate long dress; otherwise, entry will not be permitted.

This mosque has been described as the third holiest place for Muslims in the world (some say the fourth, after Mecca, Medina, and Jerusalem). During the Ottoman Empire, Ottoman-flagged ships would hang their flags at half mast when off the shores of Larnaca, and salute Hala Sultan with cannon shots. The mosque was built over the grave of Umm Haram, who was believed to be the sister of the Prophet Mohammed’s foster mother.

From an architectural standpoint it’s a very pretty building and the interior is spectacular. I didn’t take any photos as I didn’t know if it was appropriate or not as it is an active church. But the paintings and reliefs inside are quite unique. And the building itself has a great history that’s interesting to learn about as someone who’s not tied to the Christian faith. The surrounding neighborhood is very quaint and has many good shops and restaurants/cafes.

This is amazing Church is a must visit if you are in the area. Beautiful structural architecture on the outside and inside to the amazing things you will see when you enter. If you can try and be covered up because there is a sign outside saying no shorts for men and women should ideally have their hair and shoulders covered but they do have robes for free on the outside to cover just in case you forget. Situated in the church are the most amazing icon pictures all over and the whole church is almost covered in gold. It is a particularly busy church with tourists in and out at all times. When you enter there is a lower two level where Lazarus bones used to be kept before they were moved, but his tomb still remains.

Hearing about this church and seeing some of the photos doesn’t really prepare you for the experience and history you are about to feel walking up to and inside this master of a monument. The outside is stunning, well preserved and sits on a lovely open space. When you enter it is very typical of a Greek church and lovely. Make sure you visit the tombs also under the church.

Beautiful church, very peaceful! We went there around at 1400 and it was closed. Advise to check the opening hours before you go. It opens in afternoon at 1530 but if you are there early, there are few souvenir shops that you can visit, enjoy lunch, take photographs, enough things to keep you occupied.

Visiting the Holy Church of Saint Lazarus was an unforgettable experience. I was deeply touched by the atmosphere and the spiritual energy of this sacred place. Bowing before the relics of Saint Lazarus filled me with peace and gratitude.

It's a wonderful beach. The location is perfect. There are restaurants, places to stay, and an amusement park nearby. It's a great beach for a family vacation.

A great end point if you are walking along the salt flat trail. The 18th century aquaduct is in great condition and is another part of Cyprus' long history with water movement and storage. 10min is enough time for a casual observer to take in enough of the structure. The wetlands directly behind it are home to many birds and the calls make a nice backdrop.

Surrounded by the modern city, it seems surreal in a way. It's an impressive structure and it's in good condition. Parking is available nearby and there are also hiking trails.

Super cool piece of history. Looks a lot more grand in person. There's a small walkway that takes you through the base of the aqueduct though not fully constructed or maintained.

Not worth a detour, what you see when driving by is everything there is to see. Looks nice though.

The Kamares Aqueduct in Larnaca was built between 1747 and 1750 by the Ottoman Governor Bekir Pasha to provide the city with a reliable water supply. This impressive engineering feat, which cost approximately 50,000 qirsh, was funded by Pasha himself as a public project. It draws water from the Tremithos River and other springs, channeling it to the city through a 16 km long system that includes a 75-arch bridge, a part of which is still visible today.

Went in April, no Flamingo. Learned from the local that they only come to salt lake between Nov and Mar. If you go in other months, the lake view is still enjoyable, just no need to feel disappointed or not seeing any bird.

Beautiful lake, flamingos can be seen only in the cold season. Visited in November and the water looked like a mirror, with lots of flamingos. Definitely worth visiting. Do not walk off the path, it'll startle the birds. There are 2 observation decks at the lake. You can get there with public transport.

Larnaca Salt Lake fills with water during the winter and dries up in the summer to reveal a salt crust. This natural cycle attracts large flocks of migratory birds. Thousands of flamingos arrive from November to feed on the shrimp that thrive in the salt water.

Pink flamingos 🦩 visit the lake in winter. When I visited in mid November there were 2 big groups. Should bring a good camera to get a good picture. However you can walk around and enjoy the views. Various parking around the lake.

I visited it in November, and there were no birds, no water. Just a mud and salt. Large area covered by mud and salt. The guide said in winter there will be a lot of flamingo and water. It is located near Hala Sultan mosque.

Nice place for a walk alongside the salt lake, where you can watch the flamingos and other water birds. Great view of the Hala Sultan Tekkesi - this place has a ridiculous number of cute cats, it must be their sanctuary. There is several benches throughout the path, ideal to contemplate those magnificent birds.

A small museum, not very spectacular. Many very old ceramic vessels, Roman glass, remains of statues. You only need about 30 minutes to visit it.

The Roman glass has to seen to be believed . So delicate, but survived in Tombs . The Pomos idols and the flat idols are amazing . The pots and other artifacts are very special. Well worth a visit . Entry €3

Located a 3 minute walk off the main square. Cost :3 euros and they take credit cards. It’s a single floor of 5 rooms and a corridor. Different historic periods of vases and pots, figurines and statues/ heads and artefacts. Description could be made easier with number going in a systematic order as well as the description. Descriptions are put into one page of say 1-5 and objects maybe on two different levels in two different panels of display making it difficult for the visitor to follow a systematic viewing of the displays. Also description not at eye level but a lot of bending down is required for reading inscriptions, the font could also be bigger.

A small private museum with exhibits from Stone Age that Pieridis family acquired through the generations which they showcase for the public to enjoy. The museum is housed in a private colonial style building which it was a family house before built in 1825 and which it has been occupied the site for more than four generations. Each room is sectioned on different afterfacts from bronze, clay, glass and more. My favourite section it was the different coloured and shapes of blown glass. You can spend easily one to two hours there and is accessible for wheelchair users. It has a small gift shop at the back and toilets in the back yard. Entrance is €3.00 and is well worth a visit there.

Great building with loads of historical items including maps, statues, lamps and coins all displayed on a professional way. An interesting history of ancient Cyprus. Well worth visiting.

Not very big, seems recently modernized/restored, decent looking. Not very spectacular, the exhibits are mostly pottery and other clay objects. You can also see remains of statues, ornaments, some gold jewelry and coins. The exhibits have explanations in English. You need less than an hour to visit it.

Worth a visit, along with the Kition ruins. Free entry and an interesting view of the region's history mainly focusing on the prehistoric origins. Make sure you don't miss out on the Mausoleums downstairs.

If you visit the site of Kition nearby you may be disappointed that there wasn’t many artefacts but you will be happy to see this museum which is full of antiquities. They are well presented and the museum is air conditioned which in the immense heat of summer is a saviour. There is a small gift shop also with some lovely souvenirs too but the artefacts impressed me the most.

Free entry, friendly staff. The exhibitions (neolithic era, bronze age, iron age) are extremely detailed, there are plenty of artifacts on display. Crazy amounts of pottery remains, with detailed explanations in every exhibit. The place is air conditioned and very cool which is a welcome thing in the 30 degree midday Larnaka.

Nice museum with good display and description of artifacts. Organized chronologically from the prehistoric to the Roman era and a bit further with interesting potteries and crafting tools mostly. The visit takes around 40mn to an hour and it's free.

An absolutely must see dive spot if you visit Cyprus! Huge wreck, many interesting things to see, for example plenty of trucks. For technical divers there are special routes inside the hull. One of the best wreck dives I've ever seen. And it's possible to dive year round.

Absolutely beautiful place to dive, definitely recommend, though made more for advanced divers. Especially recommend booking it before going on a holiday, since there are a lot of divers and we have heard you need to book in advance. Really a must visit for any diver who can handle big cargo ships.

This awesome wreck is in the top ten wreck dives in the world and no wonder. It's an amazing scuba dive and definitely my favourite. The Zenobia lies on her side at 42m and depending on your diving exams and specialties, you can go though the bridge, under lorries chained to the deck, the cafeteria and out of the bow doors. This is my second time diving here with Cydive and big thank you to Pavlos for making it so special once again 👌

Excellent dive site. The zenobia wreck is for advanced divers (30m depth). The beat is to have also an nixtrox certification to stay longer in the water. The stern is interesting to see with all the lorries at 30 and at 40 m depth. At the front of the wreck, you can find the canteen and the bridge. Recommend doing at least two dives on the wreck with a good dive center. The water temperature is 18°C so expect to wear a thick wetsuit with a hoodie and booties.

An Incredible wreck to dive and I will be diving it again soon. It really does shock you of how incredible this wreck is. Anyone who does want to go onto the advance parts of the wreck, I would advise you take your Advanced Open Water, Nitrox and Deep Diver courses to get the best out of it.

A not very big marina, with nothing out of the ordinary. Several dozen sailboats and other types of boats and a promenade where people can walk. There are no benches to sit on. Quite beautiful but common.

A nice marina, with a small pier that enables you to look at the boats. Be aware that some of the planks are old, stick up, and are unsteady. You can not get much other access to the marina to see the boats any closer on foot. You can, however, get boat rides from here, and booking is at the start of the pier. The marina itself is clean and well kept. Parking can be found close by or a 10 minute walk from 2 car parks next to the bus station. Both are free. Toilets nearby on the beach. Worth a quick look if you're in the area.

Beautiful little marina, lots of wildlife to see in the water. Boat owners friendly too. Would recommend having a wander here if staying nearby. Good boat trips to look at going on too. I went on semi-submarine, see my review for that :)

It's so beautiful and the view from up the infinity pool is breathtaking. Visited the Marina Spa and after had a drink by the pool. It was so relaxing.

I visited Larnaca in August 2024, and the weather was quite hot. I stayed about 15 km away from the town at the Murcure Larnaca Resort. While looking for a place to have dinner in the city, I discovered this area. I walked around for over an hour in the evening, and it wasn’t crowded, which made it very pleasant. The area is quite large, with boats, a beach, restaurants, and more. It’s worth exploring, but I recommend visiting Nissi Beach, which is too crowded but one of the most beautiful beaches in the World.

We had an exceptional experience at Larnaca Marina. The marina is beautifully organized, well-run, and affordably priced. From the moment we arrived from the Suez Canal, the team provided a warm and welcoming reception. Giannis, the Marina Manager, was instrumental in ensuring a smooth experience, sending us all the necessary information via email. When we arrived, we contacted Stellios on the radio, and his instructions were clear and easy to follow. He and Athos met us at the fuel dock with smiles, took our lines, and escorted us to the customs and port police offices. The check-in process was super easy and efficient, thanks to Elena's kindness at the office reception. The team went above and beyond to assist us, even helping with our first stern tie. Athos took our lines, and Stellios was ready in the dinghy to lend a hand if needed. Given the marina's comfort and amenities, we decided to haul our boat out for hull maintenance. The lift process was seamless, with Georgios handling the travel lift and Mohammed ensuring everything was in place. What truly made our experience stand out was working with "Dino" and his colleague Kamil. Dino's business offers a wide range of services for boat exteriors, and his work is stellar. Both Dino and Kamil take immense pride in their work, and it shows. They became like friends and coaches to us, offering valuable advice and support throughout our stay. We were sad to leave Larnaca Marina but happy to set sail with our boat looking better than ever. The marina's daily rates are very affordable compared to other European ports, making it an excellent choice for sailors. We highly recommend Larnaca Marina to anyone looking for a well-run and welcoming port.

I loved all the details, there are so many interesting tools and insights from early medicine; it was history beautifully mingled with art, and also modern day objects. The host, Dorothea, was so passionate and friendly, she offered us a tour and explained the practices of those times. This museum has a lot to offer and is worth hours of scrutinizing, there are so many things to learn and discover. I really loved this experience and I dearly recommend it, I would come back any time! (The entrance is free, but you can make donations if you wish; also, you are allowed to touch the exhibits)

We stumbled upon this beautiful little medical museum by chance. We really appreciated the way the objects are displayed like a cabinet of curiosities filled with intertwined stories, all very well explained. We enjoyed diving into this medical universe through its different eras and narratives. The museum is very comprehensive, as it covers a wide variety of medical topics through rare antique objects that you won’t find just anywhere. This really helps visitors grasp the evolution and challenges of medicine over time. We also particularly enjoyed the many artistic creations, all centered around the theme of medicine. They were made by Dorota, the person who guided us during the visit. She has a true artistic sensibility that we found very moving. Her creations about dental equipment are not to be missed make sure to ask her to show them to you! So, if you're ever in Larnaca, we highly recommend taking the time to visit this wonderful museum.

THE MEDICAL MUSEUM of Larnaka is a quirky, magical, educational micro-museum also known as THE KYRIAZIS MUSEUM after the eponymous Dr MARIOS KYRIAZIS MD,DSc whom it was a delight and an honour to meet and chat with ( and even receive kind and helpful medical advice from!) on the morning of our visit. Many of the exhibits were spine-tinglingly gruesome but also, awesomely thrilling! I liked the fact the museum space was small, only a couple of rooms, but they were chock full of fascinating medical objects. The lovely Dorota gives you a whizz of a tour around then you can peruse the exhibits again at your own pace. The good Doctor was so lovely I bought his book which I think will be an amazing and humorous read! Best Google to check the Museum opening times. My Lonely Planet Guide said it was only open Wednesdays and Saturdays until 1230 hours but this is incorrect. It’s open much more frequently than that. Definitely worth leaving the beach for!

We had a wonderful time at the Medical Museum! The exhibit features a wide range of medical equipment and various surgical instruments of different age. You are also allowed to touch and interact with the majority of the exhibits, which makes the experience truly engaging. There was also a really friendly guide who provided us with a comprehensive excursion, even after the working hours had passed. The owner of the museum is a doctor himself, and if you’re particularly interested in medicine, you can talk to him about it, as well as purchase his book (English/Greek) and have it signed. By the way, the museum is entirely free to enter, although you can leave a donation afterwards :)

A unique museum in every sense. It is the only medical museum in Cyprus. The stories of The items are amazing. And it is the only museum in the world where you can touch all the items. It is definitely a must see museum.

The Kyriazis Medical Museum in Larnaca was established in 2011 and displays medical items, books and framed documents relating to the practice of medicine from antiquity to the 20th century. It is the only medical museum in Cyprus and all the collections belong to a Nobel prize nominee. You can touch all the items there and feel for yourself how they work. Its founder is Marios Kyriazis, a descendant of four generations of doctors and pharmacists in Larnaca. The hosts can open anytime by appointment. Most days they will open from 10 am to 7 pm.Tours in Greek, Italian, English, German and Polish.

The museum is very interesting and the exhibits are very impressive. Everything has been collected with great effort and care. We were given a spontaneous short tour, which we really enjoyed. You get a vivid impression of what medicine used to be like. An impressive contribution to everyday history. The current state of science is tomorrow's error. Science is continuous advancement.

Hmmm - not too sure about this. I guess it would be OK if you had nothing better to do, but there are better to see. It is an old fort from the 12th century which had multiple purposes along the centuries. The cost to visit is only 2.5 euro; so, it is not overly expensive and is really only a short visit. There are old canons, and some chambers and a prison; and the view from the top is pretty good.

Very simple. The museum part is practically nonexistent. They need a better use for the upstairs room. Charging deterred many people from visiting when I was there, especially because nothing is reeling people in.

Had some time to kill so for €2.50 we thought we'd have a look. Not much going on, could really do with some information boards as you go around. There is one QR code by the tombs which give you a bit of background, but otherwise you need use your imagination. Good view from up the top out over the beach.

When you visit this archaeological site your first impressions might be that there isn’t really anything to see. But when you start reading the story of what used to be here and what the site represents, paired with a visit to the museum not far away you will get an understanding of the life and culture of the people who used to live here. A tip is to bring an umbrella if it’s hot, there isn’t any shade.

This is a great site and it’s currently being renovated. It really takes you through the history of the site of Kition. It was busy, but did not feel crowded. My only criticism is that the information is limited and there is no real route to walk. The language used on signage isn’t in basic English so for second language speakers (and it’s not great for kids to understand). It could be made more fun by having activities for children and providing for information. The staff are pleasant but don’t go out of their way to provide support or guidance.

Hard to not give a star rating for this place. It’s a great example of original and outstanding architecture. You can walk all around it and take it all in. Pretty cool to see and try and imagine how it was built all those years ago.

Ticket per adult 2 euros, Childers under 12 are free .,no guider , you guide yourself 🤨… no canteen bring your water with you … 2 hour is enough for whole tour and reading notes … rest rooms are available… the place is clean .

There's not much to see, but still, you do learn a lot about the ancient history of Larnaca. I visited the site after my visit to the Provincial Archaeological Museum of Larnaca and saw a lot of the finds from the area. The entrance fee of 2.50 euros is not bad to get an idea where they have found most of relics in the museum.Also the Department of Antiquities can issue special entry cards for 1, 3 or 7 days at a reduced price and also a pensioners special entry card. This important site cannot be more than it is, which is incredibly old and hence quite hard to make sense of, despite the text guides dotted around the place. I had a thoroughly pleasant time wandering across the paths and noting both ruins and pomegranate trees. Half an hour would be plenty of time to allow for this visit.

The Great Mosque of Larnaca, Djami Kebir (Al Masjid Al Kabeer) which is located in the heart of Larnaca with a few steps away from the beach. A very beautiful, calm and peaceful place that I visit often as a Muslim since I moved here, and even as a tourist it is worth a visit. Djami Kebir is perhaps the first Ottoman mosque in Cyprus and it lays just next door to the Medieval Castle.

what a beautiful turkish mosque in the heart of larnaka. you can offer 5 times prayers in congregation. very well kept. visitors welcome but they need to dress modestly.

My experience at Djama Kabir Mosque in Larnaca was truly wonderful. The mosque has a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere that made me feel comfortable from the moment I arrived. The architecture is beautiful and reflects a rich cultural heritage. The people there were very kind and respectful, which added to the overall positive experience. Visiting the mosque gave me a sense of tranquility and spiritual connection. It was a memorable visit, and I would highly recommend anyone to experience the serenity and warmth of Djama Kabir Mosque.

Nice Mosque with a friendly Imam. Me and my wife and my son visited and for the first time in a Mosque it was very nice. Exactly like I expected it to be a piece of the Cyprus culture. My wife had to cover her body, but they have already prepared coats with hoodies so it worked out just fine.

After the conflict of 1974 and the division of Cyprus into two parts (Greek and Turkish), the mosque was closed, but Cypriot President Makarios III allowed the mosque to be opened after a visit by Libyan President Muammar Gaddafi to Cyprus in which he formally requested the president to open three mosques. The mosque was renovated in 2002 with the support of the United Nations and under the supervision of Saleh Lamei Mustafa, Director General of the Center for the Revival of the Heritage of Islamic Architecture. But still the historical mosque is in need of restoration inside out !

A great independent pottery shop, with excellent service. The pottery shop is in the old Turkish quarter of Larnaca and has the pottery making business next to it. The owner was very kind and showed us his workshop with the kilns and explained to us how it works.

We liked this experience very much. First time we made 2 glasses and 1 plate. Then we came to paint them and next time we will come to take them home. The attitude is very nice. We were taught how to make pots, everything was explained in details. Everyone will be able to make their own pot without any problems. If you fly home back and need to take the pots with you - you can pay extra and they will prepare your pots faster. I highly recommend it. It is totally worth it. Thanks a lot to the owners.

Visited the pottery on the Larnaca tourist information free tour, Michael gave an interesting demonstration on how to create a Pythagorean cup - a practical joke device in a form of a drinking cup, credited to Pythagoras of Samo. The shop itself has some lovely items.

A fantastic family experience! We had a wonderful time at the ceramic shop and workshop. Our kids enjoyed creating their own pieces during a hands-on session led by Michael, who was incredibly kind and patient. A unique and memorable activity for the whole family — highly recommended!

The beach in Larnaca is a great spot, especially in March. While the water was quite cold, I enjoyed dipping my feet in. The beach is spacious and not too crowded, which is perfect for families with children since the water is shallow. Overall, it’s a lovely, relaxing place with a welcoming atmosphere.

The sand was fine, but hard, perhaps from the water. The water didn’t have the same color as in Nissi and Protaras, for example, but it was warm. A sunbed and umbrella cost 7.5 euros, but for some reason nobody came for us to pay. There’s also a lifeguard. There were waves in the water, which was extremely clean. The sun set very early around 5:30 PM, but maybe because it gets dark much earlier here. There’s nowhere around to get food if you get hungry, or water - you have to go out to the waterfront street itself.

Wide, not crowded and relaxing beach with a view of landing planes. There are many kiosks and bars around. Parking is paid - 2.5 euro as for September 2024, located 5 minutes of a slow walk from the sun beds.

Lovely warm day at Larnaca beach today. Parked the car at the marina car park which cost 3 euro for the day. After a nice walk along the promenade, went for a snack and a cooling drink at the Navymarine restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed it. Also enjoyed a little retail therapy in the shops behind the promenade. We'll be back soon.

I love this place, i ordered here Pasta Carbonara which was really good, like in Italy. My friend was so pleased about the food she ordered. I tried here a Limoncello Spritz which was good. Nice location, you have to call before or to be lucky to find a free table. Prices higher than usual.

Delicious food, great Italian recipes. We tried the pizzas, the truffle pasta and the sea food pasta. Everything was delicious. Well situated by the beach with a good view. Prices are reasonable, portions are huge. We had a very good family lunch. Service was great and the staff friendly. Would absolutely recommend eating here :)

Great experience from start to finished. We went there during dinner time service and it was very busy. Quick to get us seated, service was fast and food was delicious. Dimitris looked after us and had very good attention to detail, making sure the experience was best as possible. On the way to the toilet I walked passed the open kitchen which was very clean and organised. A tightly kept ship! After we finished they were very patient and relaxed which made us feel even more appreciated. Would highly recommend if you like tasty Italian food and exceptional service.

We had a great experience at Aldente Restaurant, Finikoudes. We ordered the Spaghetti Carbonara and the Penne Truffle, both dishes were delicious, but the Penne Truffle really stood out and made a strong impression. The atmosphere is relaxed and it’s a lovely spot for a weekday lunch. Definitely recommended!

What a place… Great food at reasonable prices and friendly service. The Maitre D was on top of his team like a hawk making sure everyone was seated immediately and served as quickly as possible. We had the Takis burger, octopus and the Las Vegas sushi. Everything was spot on; the food, service and atmosphere. It’s also technically on the beach so you don’t have to walk far. You can also see airplanes coming in to land as it is next to the airport. This place has everything.

The sushi wasn’t that good, it had many people and is a little busy at night. They have loud music and you can find a seat easily. Although, I think there are better places where you can get sushi at.

A great place at Mackenzie for lunch. Exceptionally clean place. when we arrived in the morning for a take-away smoothy (which was great) the cleaners were deep cleaning, and you could tell they were attentive in their efforts and walls, nocks and crannies were getting a good scrub. We were in and out of the venue all day and on every occasion the toilets were immaculate. We walked off the beach at lunch and we shared all 3 salads and the beef skirt. it was fresh, crisp, exceptionally tasty. The staff were friendly and attentive. went back for sun-downer cocktails later and those were also good.

Now to the full review: After two visits with friends and family I came up with a few key points that I'd like to mention. 1) The Atmosphere: The music is EXTREMELY LOUD, making it almost impossible to hear anyone near. There are real drummers, who play along to the prerecorded soundtracks, which overall makes the atmosphere more lively. The interior offers a breezy summer vibe, in the evenings you may witness colorful disco lights. 2) Taste: The food itself is pretty mid. I took two dishes - "The Hungry Takis Burger" (apparently the only burger on the menu, photo attached) and "Brooklyn Love" rolls (also attached). Though I ordered a medium fry, the burger arrived well-done, which made it taste a bit too dry. The bun was a regular package, not some fancy brioche, but eh, okay. [€16]. The rolls were pretty good: the rice was sticky, the fish was fresh, as well as the unique presentation made it a pleasant experience. [€10] Overall, the food was fine, nothing superficial, though its worth mentioning that the ingredients were fresh and the meals were neatly prepared. Despite the odds mentioned, the place is overall cool if you're looking for a warm-up before a night club, as it's very clean, the staff, well, *exists*, and the overall interior makes up for a fine place to be at.

I visited yesterday, and I have to say, the location is absolutely stunning, with so much potential. The setting is perfect, and the food quality is top-notch, with delicious cocktails that really hit the mark. However, the service left a lot to be desired. It was painfully slow and disorganised. The staff seemed to be running around, but there was no clear system in place. It almost felt like they were “headless chickens” trying to serve everyone but no one at the same time. We placed our drink order, only to watch the waiter stand on the other side doing nothing while the staff bar had no orders to fulfill. After waiting for 10-15 minutes, my husband had to walk up to the bar himself to reorder the drinks. When the food finally arrived, the wait was long, and while the steak presentation was impressive with a nice “theatrical” touch at the table, the whole process was slow and the steak itself ended up lukewarm by the time it made it to our plates. We also ordered French fries, which were forgotten and only arrived after we asked three times, right when we were nearly finished with our meal. All in all, it’s a real shame because the food and cocktails are fantastic, and the beachside atmosphere is one of a kind. But the poor service definitely dragged down the experience. I really hope they work on this, as it could be a truly amazing spot with a bit of improvement in the service department.

A great spot to get some loungers/bean bags/cabana type beds. We got the bean bags and they priced us at a minimum spend of €20 per person. So once you've had a couple of drinks and food the seating pays for itself. Very hard working staff. Tasso is great. Amazing food and drinks.

Nice modern place , can be considered as a high end lounge. Perfect wine list and choice of cocktails. Sweets were very impressive. Food though needed a bit more sparkles and little touches. Risotto with truffles needed more taste. Indoor tables had poor lights, was very difficult to read the menu. We were 4 people, ordered 2 starters( prosciutto and buratta/ avocado 🥑 salad) , 3 main courses( ravioli with crab, truffle rizotto and grilled calamari) and 2 desserts. One bottle of very basic rose wine of 26€. Total bill came over 160€. Service was very good !

We indulged in a fantastic dinner—tender salmon, creamy risotto, juicy chicken souvlaki, luscious cream pasta, and more—and every single bite was delicious 😋🍴. The beachfront setting, upbeat tunes, and full-of-life crowd made it such an immersive, feel-good experience ✨🎉.

Arrived at the venue and ordered for my friends that were on the way. My friends brought their baby and dog with them passing by several waiters on their way to our table that raised no problem to their small dog being present by that time the food had arrived and until they got settled 15 minutes pass by and had just started to eat the food. A person from the staff likely some kind of manager came to inform us that we must leave because they don’t let pets even in the outside area the photo below shows the food that the staff was comfortable letting us pay without even touching. Terrible service and way of treating customers.

A special wine shop that also offer wine tasting. The tasting was 10+1, that is 1 rose, 4 white, 4 red, 1 sweet wine and 1 liquor, all are made in Cyprus. The owner is very knowledgeable and was explaining about the wineries and grapes in Cyprus. If you like wine and want to learn about the wines made in Cyprus this is definitely worth trying. Only 17€ if you pay in the shop, you can reserve places on the phone. If ordered online the price is 21€ pr person. Aside from the wine tasting experience, this shop offers an excellent selection of local and international wines for purchase. Thank you so much for your hospitality, exceptional service and wonderful Cypriot wines. We realy enjoyed it.

We enjoyed a relaxed wine tasting of local Cypriot wines. The owner is an expert with a lot of knowledge of local and international wines. It worth going out of your way to attend this wine tasting. Owner also ships wines all of the world. If I had to give feedback, I would have to note that the owner is an expert, and the tasting is focused on the wine, entertaining is not the main purpose.

Sergios is such a lovely knowledgeable wine connoisseur. He highlighted local grape varieties that most people haven't heard about and was so patient with all my questions about the grapes and terroir. The shop itself is such a gem. The wine tasting was a lovely experience led by a clear expert in Cypriot wines. We learned a lot and tasted amazing wines and liquors. Definitely recommend to anyone interested in wine or just interested in learning more about the Cypriot wine regions. The price cannot be beat for the quality of the experience. Aside from the wine tasting experience, there is an excellent selection of local and international wines available for purchase.

We were very happy to attend a The Oak Tree wine tasting with Sergio as a host! Lovely atmosphere in the tasting room + talks with Sergio about wine + great Cyprus rose/white/red wines, orange liqueur makes this experience very special 🤩 You can also order a wine that you like during the tasting if you are traveling with backpacks only 🙌🏻 So we are planning to order Persefoni Xinistery, Project X Xinistery and Vlassides Shiraz in the nearest future! We were never considering wines from Cyprus and now we definitely will. Sergio was very knowledgeable about wines and wineries, attentive to our questions and gave us small lecture about the whole process of making wine. I was also amazed to hear a lot about the wineries all over the world, that he has visited. All in all, it was a great value for 20€. Hope to visit Cyprus and the Oak Tree wine tasting someday and try new Cyprus wines.

A large beach in area. Although the sea is clear, the beach has hard, pressed sand. It has many tourist shops, restaurants and bars. The sad thing is that many of them do not take care of their exteriors and this has the consequence of leaving you with a feeling of old and untended. On the edge it has a very nice castle that functions as a museum and if you go further into the narrow streets it has more picturesque places.

The umbrellas have started falling apart a bit, but the beach itself is big, the distance between sunbeds is just right, so you don't feel squished with other people. The water is shallow for at least 100m, which also makes people scattered all over, so no one is in your way. The sand isn't "pretty" but it doesn't stuck to everything and it's nice to stand on in water. The water itself is clear and clean.

A long beach with lots of beds for rent. Restaurants all around. Clean clear water. Life guards all around. The issue is with the closeness to the airport which makes it a bit noisy when the planes land and takeoff.

It's a... convenient beach. Is it the most beautiful? No. Is it the best beach I've ever been to? Also no. But it's in the middle of the city, easy to get to, there's an intercity bus stop nearby. There are toilets and changing rooms. The water is shallow and not really suitable for swimming but I took my elderly mother with mobility issues with me and it was perfect for her. There's really no sand, just hard dirt, but the loungers are cheap. Water has no rocks.

Love this beach, mostly because the water is so clean and cold. It’s not the biggest beach but it certainly has a lot going for it. The sand is kind of construction sand and there’s plenty of old cigarettes on the sand too. You can order and pay for drinks or snacks from the guys coming from the different cafes or just cross the street and find a heap of restaurants.

Decent, but a little short on most counts. Included breakfast was quite good, but the rooms are (only) a bit run down and in general everything was serviceable but no better. Helpful staff at all hours. Would stay here again for the discount price, but would note that we also stayed at another local place, lucked into an even better rate, and it was very much nicer.

The location of this hotel is excellent — right in the heart of Larnaca, close to the beach, restaurants, and the main sights. The breakfast was good with a decent selection, and the service was friendly and helpful. Our room had a small balcony, which was a nice bonus. The room itself was standard nothing fancy, but it had everything you need for a comfortable stay. The bathroom could be slightly better, but for a short stay or a layover to explore the town, this hotel is a okay choice for the price.

This is a lovely hotel situated in the heart of Larnaca and a few minutes from the beach and the old castle. The rooms are spacious and clean, our room had a balcony and a beautiful view of the old city. Naturally, it is noisy at night because of the tavernas below, but music and noise stop around midnight... The breakfast is rich and tasty, though a smell is always there and that's a bit annoying. All in all it is a nice hotel. Recommendable.

The location is super nice, close to everything in the city center. However the rooms are not clean, there was even a cockroach in our room, dusty airco, spider webs. The reaction of the staff was careless, Ok do you want another room?

Hugely disappointed by the Municipality of Larnaca! Yesterday they tried to close 20 minutes early and only because one of the artists insisted they stayed open and today it has its doors closed half an hour into the opening time, with about 20 people waiting!! I have come from Limassol! Artists have traveled from all over to exhibit and be here! Such disrespect to the artist, to the people of Cyprus and to the world of art!

The 1930s schoolhouse-turned-gallery's floors still bear ink stains from students' desks. Curators discovered that the natural light in Room 3 matches the spectrum of Cyprus' autumn sunlight perfectly for viewing seascapes. The basement holds a collection of Cypriot naive art painted on salvaged airplane aluminum.

The old part of Larnaca is beautiful and well worth a visit. Larnaca is a very old town, so Google it to find out more about it. It's fascinating with its picturesque narrow streets but new boutiques and good hotel accommodation. A bit contradictory. People into culture will love what this city has to offer. Plenty to see and do and of course you have to taste the Greek and Cypriot cuisine. Essential for all food lovers. The 4 star rating is because i had an issue with my room which was otherwise very spacious and rather cheap. See pics below.

The best taverna in the Larnaca area. Modeste & his sons were the perfect hosts and looked after us like their family! The taverna has been renovated and looked amazing - it was like stepping back into the 1950s! The atmosphere was very relaxing & very busy even on a Monday evening- bookings are required!! The food - we had the most amazing snails, a pork chop & lamb cutlets cooked to perfection!! We will be back and recommend Kazani to all our family & friends !

What an incredible experience, truly unforgettable. As someone who is half Greek and half Australian, I’ve experienced both cultures, but the hospitality my family and I received here was next level. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with open arms, warm, kind, genuinely hospitable, and incredibly accommodating. And that’s before I even mention the food. The dishes were absolutely phenomenal. The meat was tender and juicy, the vegetables fresh and vibrant, and the dips and sauces packed with flavour, rich, authentic, and perfectly balanced. The atmosphere, beautiful. Live singers created an amazing vibe, and the restaurant layout was thoughtfully designed for both comfort and experience. I’d recommend this place to anyone and everyone. It wasn’t just a meal, it was a full cultural experience. Easily a 10,000 out of 10.

We had such a great dinner at To Kazani! The pork souvlaki was some of the best we’ve had in Cyprus - tender, smoky and perfectly seasoned. It’s a cosy, family-run spot with the warmest service and real local charm. You can feel the love they put into everything they do.

Let's just say that the designer is better then their 👩‍🍳 chef. Once again google good reviews trap. It is not in a touristic area, so if I am eating there it should only be for the food. Unfortunately it is not the case. It's a pity for the region to serve such tasteless dishes.

One of the highlights of the experience is the chef himself — he comes out to greet the guests, shares his personal stories, and makes you feel truly welcome. It’s a charming and heartfelt touch that adds to the overall warmth of the place. To finish, the South African pudding was absolutely delicious — a comforting and sweet end to a fantastic meal. we had a perfect evening here. not only was the food (a perfectly cooked steak and duck breast) amazing, but the owner/chef and his son were such good hosts, coming out to chat with us and even writing down a list of local recommendations for the rest of our trip. they were so kind - we were the first people in there - and gave us a complimentary homemade desert (unreal) and soup starter too! I can’t recommend Red Pepper enough, you will be so well taken care of here, and it’s not just about the food for them. it also notes on the menu if you are vegan they will make something special for you which is a lovely touch too.

The food was superb, every single dish was delicious. Pina and her English husband (the owners) are hands on and make sure all is up to scratch, often personally preparing the food. In between the dishes we ordered we were treated to a yummy soup made by Pina's husband (I'm sorry I can't remember the name) but remember the lovely soup - OMG! When visiting next time most definitely will be dining at Red Pepper as there isn't a better restaurant in a whole of Larnaca.

A wonderfully warm, relaxing atmosphere. Family owned and operated, we were greeted by the owner and the chef upon entering and treated like friends immediately. Cosy seating and a great looking menu. Service was brilliant with jokes, recommendations and waiting on us. Brilliant wine list and complementary amuse-bouche. We were considering dessert and were convinced by the waiter, 10/10 one of the most amazing desserts I’ve ever had. It was then given to us on the house since we weren’t sure which was such a lovely thing although we did really enjoy it. Would really recommend for a quiet date night.

Red pepper is a hidden gem in Larnaka. A daily menu means the food is always freshly prepared. We really enjoy the steak, which is really tasty and not covered with creamy sauces. The homemade pasta is also very nice.

The staff were friendly (Chrissy was super lovely) and efficient. The food was great and the setting was lovely. The only thing that was a slight let down were the cocktails; very basic but ok. Great place! We ordered a seafood plate for 2 and the portion was quite filling. The staff were very friendly. The atmosphere was good. They give you complimentary dessert and fruits after your meal. The only thing I did not like was the sauce of the mussels.

One of the best meals I have had in cyprus! The location is very right by the beach. We ordered the fish mezze for three and the portions were generous. My favorites were the shrimp pasta, the octopus in ink sauce and the sea bass. Will definitely come back the next time I’m in Cyprus!

Delicious food, especially the seafood. Fresh, beautifully presented, and a portion for two is enough for two people. We also got a delicious dessert, which isn't always the case. The price was fair, and the service was friendly. The food was also complemented by a beautiful view of the sea.

Platter was nice as were the dips, however they charged €14 for a so called salad which was just vinegary lettuce and a small amount of tomato and feta, a five year old could do a better job making that and the price did not match the menu. Unfortunately I would not go back as they would rather rip off customers than have repeat business

I ordered kleftiko today and it was terrible! Instead of potatoes, they put fries in a cross. And the lamb was nothing but lard and bones. I've attached a photo. The staff here are incredibly dishonest if they gave me such terrible kleftiko for such a high price.

We visited Charmers Fish Tavern & Steak House in Larnaca and ordered the seafood platter (€34) along with a Greek salad. The salad was served with cheese but surprisingly had no olives. When we asked about it, the staff told us that this was their version of a “village salad” and that it’s served that way. It wasn’t a huge issue, but it would have been nicer if we had been informed in advance. As for the seafood platter — unfortunately, it was simply inedible. Everything tasted bland and was deep-fried. I can’t say for sure, but it really felt like most of it came from frozen, pre-packaged products, except maybe the small fish, tiny crabs, and squid. The cuttlefish was overcooked and burnt, making it impossible to eat. The only things we truly enjoyed were the service, the beer, and the complimentary dessert at the end (watermelon and a traditional sweet). We decided to try this place because we noticed a lot of locals and a generally busy atmosphere in the evenings, but sadly we couldn’t understand the hype — the food really didn’t live up to expectations.

The food was ok, fish was much better then the steak, wouldn’t recommend to order other dishes than fish or seafood. The steak also came without sauce as promised on the menu. We then asked for pepper and were given a pepper shaker with finely ground pepper. A restaurant that serves steak should at least have a pepper mill ready if the pepper sauce is not available. Although the fries are homemade, they were rather soggy. Plus points: great and attentive stuff and located directly at the sea.

Went here for dinner, there were some mixed reviews but we decided to give it a chance. Had the fried garlic prawns and the halloumi as starters. The prawns where not fried, no garlic detected in the sauce. It was more of a cream and paprika sauce.. the prawns was not cleaned/deveined and the taste was very bland. The halloumi was bland, meant to be grilled but you couldn’t see nor taste that. On every table you’ll find olive oil and vinegar. The olive oil was very light and didn’t taste like anything. Thought that was a bit strange. We had the pork kebab fad the main dish. The pork was extremely tough to chew and the fries were damp and dull. We couldn’t finish any of our dishes. Very disappointing. You did get pita bread on the side which were good!

a few years ago we were in this restaurant every Sunday, then everything changed, what upsets me most is the service, the waiters are rude, when we asked how long we need to wait for the table to be cleared, he answered 20 minutes, the table was washed with a dirty rag (I attach a photo), a tablecloth old with holes and very sticky. The quality of the food has changed a lot, it has become much worse, the potatoes were raw and cold, the octopus was cold, the salad had rotten tomatoes. When we were there the last time we were served rotten, stinking octopus, in response to our remark they answered that they would convey our wishes to the cook. We decided to give them another chance, but it was a big mistake! There is nothing left in this restaurant except a beautiful view!

By far the best fish tavern in the Larnaka district. Breathtaking view, fresh fish right next to the water. 😍 I had fresh grilled red mullet, and it was so so tasty. My company had mezze, and i’ve never seen so much fresh fish delivered in the mezze in Cyprus. Highly recommended!

Nice restaurant, we tried the fish meze. Very Nice and intersting, Way too much food, we could easily have fed 4 people with the amount of food we got. I recommend you order a table at the seafront if it’s not too windy. It looks a bit dated from the street but behind the building you get a fantastic view.

We went to Pelagos for the restaurant, but they also have a hotel. The restaurant is simple, rather typical for a Cyprus restaurant, terase at the seafront, with exotic trees just near the sitting area, beautiful sea view. One can even go for a swim 20 metres away. The menu was offering local dishes. We took a large platter of mixed fish, fried. It came with fries and also a starter with pita and olives, on the house. Two people, we couldnt finish all that food. The fish was tasty, but a little dry. Maybe some sauce would have helped. The service was fast and friendly. The prices fair, rather low for so much sea fish on the plate. Surprisingly, i didnt notice the horde of cats that seem to rub on my legs and look beggingly for food in all Cyprus terrases. We liked tge place, might go there again.

I purchased the seafood meze...fantastic. Okay it's 50 euros...but what a special way to eat. I should have saved more space for the feast so be warned. Lovely fresh food...go easy on the chips and dips.

The place looks amazing but everything else isn’t. The table service was not good: we had different waiters throughout the night, they weren’t the nicest staff, they would bring dishes before clearing the table (we had to make room and pass them plates), they didn’t clean the wet table before dessert (we had to). Some food was good: the pork chop. Some food was bad: the salad with the truffle. The “sangria” I got tasted like Vimto with a splash of red wine. When we came in, we told the waiter not to put candles on top of the birthday cake, instead put them around the cake and they put the candles on the cake.

Good restaurant, convenient to have a lunch after swimming, offers outdoor toilets, no shower, fair pricing, good fish and meat 🍖 dishes. Service is good depending on the server. The boulevard cuts the patio and restaurant so people pass through the restaurant. It is very close to the Larnaca Airport, you will enjoy watching the planes landing.

The food and service are much better than at other places in the area. The coffee is also very good. I especially love the quiet atmosphere here in the morning! It's my favorite breakfast spot. I can recommend the restaurant wholeheartedly! Ask for the Stake Sandwich with an extra poached egg!😋

One of the best bars in larnaca situated at the started of this particular area that sees many trendy bars and restaurants all in a row by the sea front in Mackenzie larnaca. You will find mainly Cypriot people here enjoying a bite to eat especially after a day at the beach or having a drink or too with a very classy chilled vibe.

We really liked this place. The food was very tasty and the whole atmosphere felt friendly and relaxed, like a family place. All the staff were very polite and friendly, but I especially want to mention Konstantinos Akriwths, who served us. He was incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. He made sure we had everything we needed, offered helpful suggestions, and created such a positive impression. Thank you for the great service, people like him make all the difference! Highly recommended.

One of the best brunch spots in the city! The food is excellent and the portions are generous. A great choice for a quality brunch with delicious flavors. The only downside is that you can’t make a reservation – you have to show up and most of the time there’s a waiting list for a table.

The food is really good and nicely presented, with plenty of options to choose from. The restaurant itself is also very nice inside with cool decoration and atmosphere. The queue “system” is chaos with no organisation at all which makes it a frustrating experience. In the past you could put your name and number on the list and it worked well. This time it was just chaos and no one knew what was going on or whose turn it was. Not sure it’s worth all that.

I visited this coffee place three times during my holiday in Larnaca, and I’ll definitely be back again next time! The food is absolutely amazing, fresh and flavorful, and beautifully presented. It’s the kind of place you want to return to again and again. Just a couple of things to keep in mind: they don’t take reservations, so you may need to wait a bit for a table, especially during peak hours. Also, according to the staff, takeaway orders aren’t available. That said, the atmosphere and quality more than make up for it. Highly recommended!

I had the famous Eggs Benedict at Edem's Yard in Larnaca and everything was simply delicious! There were free tables available, the staff was very friendly, and the prices were quite reasonable. The place has a beautiful décor that makes the experience even nicer. Our order arrived in just 5 minutes, which was a pleasant surprise. Highly recommend this spot!

We came here to have a couple of glasses of wine and some desert. We tried a couple types of Cyprus wine, which were nice, but they were also out of a couple of others that sounded appealing. The deserts were good, but they were also out of one of the deserts that really sounded good. The local wines are definitely worth a try. The service was great, and overall, we enjoyed our evening here.

I arrived with high expectations but left a bit disappointed. The setting is a cozy courtyard, which had potential, but unfortunately it was quite empty and lacked atmosphere. The wine list was impressive, with a wide selection to choose from. We ordered 10 small plates (tapas) to accompany our wine. Sadly, 8 of them were underwhelming—some lacked flavor, others seemed like pre-cooked or frozen items, and very little felt freshly made. Overall, the quality just didn’t meet the standard we were hoping for. Not sure we’d return, but if we do, we’d be much more selective with our choices. Sorry to say, but this visit didn’t live up to the promise.

We went there based on the reviews and they weren’t wrong. The dishes we had were fabulous, the best part is each dish is a small share plate so we got to try many dishes, each were delicious. Our waiter Joi was perfect, if we were staying here longer we would so go back again.

The wine is good and there’s a huge selection. We had the chilled Romanian Pinot Noir which was excellent. The food is OK. We had a cheese and charcuterie board. The meats and cheese were not amazing quality but the fruit was delicious. Waiting staff are a bit weird and we unable to help us pick out a wine, which feels kind of crucial for a bar that sells itself on the wide range of bottles they have.

We visited recently during Christmas season. The place was well decorated and service was great although the shop was full of people. It is better that you make a booking before visiting, especially during holidays or weekends to avoid disappointment. They serve small dishes like tapas but from different cuisines. Dish preservation was good and food was tasty and balanced. There is a huge variety of drinks especially wines for those who want to try something different. I would visit again for sure.

Blu Pine is an amazing place with several unique areas to enjoy. There’s a beautiful garden section with a fountain, a cozy pub-style area with two fireplaces, and an indoor first-floor restaurant decorated in a charming vintage style. Everywhere you look, there are old posters, radios, decorative pieces, and little treasures—you can walk around and always spot something new. There are also plenty of TVs, and they show both local and international football matches as well as other sports events. During big games, it can get very full, so reservations are a must. There’s even a hidden pool table, which is a fun surprise. Perfect for drinks – the selection of draft beers and cocktails is excellent. The food is great, and portions are huge. I loved the chicken souvlaki: big, juicy chunks of chicken with a fresh side salad. The spare ribs are massive—definitely not a one-person job! They come with a BBQ or Jack Daniel sauce. We went for BBQ that was less smoky than usual, which I actually preferred. The meat is super tender and falls right off the bone. If you’re not too hungry, the ultimate tacos are perfect with a beer, and there are nice sharing options like mini burgers as well. Parking is easy, with lots of spaces available in the surrounding streets or nearby land. Highly recommended for great atmosphere, drinks, food, and sports!

Good, but we were 4 and they forgot 1 meal, and another 3 were waiting with meals, while the 4th will come, another 20 min, diissapointed. Mozzarella sticks did not like, burgers are ok.

My girlfriend and I went to the Blue Pine to watch football, it was only our second visit but we had vowed to go again. Although we couldn't watch the English premier football in the downstairs area , as it was Cypriot football that night as well we still had a great night. The portions of food all seem to be quite large (one of the reasons to return) and very tasty . Also I would like to mention that the staff were very attentive and there was no problem getting another drink especially when they were going down so quickly. I would highly recommend this place to any fun loving person.

One of the most interesting and good places in Cyprus to my experience. The interior is unique and it really feels the owner put all his heart and soul to this place. Hundreds of small decorations creates cozy interesting atmosphere. That was my 3rd time here. Always nice service and the food is really delicious with huge portions. One of my favourite places I always would love to come back.

Many options for breakfast,sweet and salty, including vegan dishes (that are marked in the menu) , and they also willing to adjust the dishes for vegetarians . They have small garden and also indoor sitting are. The bagel bun was really good, with a generous amount of salmon. Though the lettuce on the side was not fresh.. The road leading to the restaurant is currently (May 2025) under construction, so it is a bit difficult to arrive.

I also tried the iced rose latte, and it was absolutely lovely – delicate, aromatic, and super refreshing. The service really stood out as well – warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. This place is a true brunch gem.

Everything was perfect, the staff is so friendly and nice. Doing above and beyond for the customer! Around 10am it's pretty full, I had to wait for an inside table. Food taste is amazing, however it's on the pricier side, I got Mingle pancakes, orange fresh and water.. total was 19 euros but honestly worth it. My mom said that they make exceptional cofee. Definitely recommend, will be coming back!

A lovely place with great food and service. One comment I have is that the breakfast available between 7.30 and 10am is a set menu only at 15 Euro per person and it’s just TOO MUCH. You have to have a „main course” and „dessert” plus a hot and cold drink and you also have access to the very well stocked buffet. After 10am you have a la carte menus for brunch and lunch with bigger variety and choices.

Cool place where you can get a delicious coffee and a yummy breakfast. Google Maps informs it should be open from 7:30, but it wasn’t. I tried to buy a morning coffee 3 times, but I couldn’t, cause the cafe was closed - and that’s the only disadvantage. All in all recommend!

Cute spot with lovely service, and I really appreciated that water was available for free - as it should! The highlight for me was the beautiful ceramic cups our cappuccinos were served in. Unfortunately, the coffee itself was burned, and the taste wasn’t great. A little advice would be to check and adjust the coffee machine settings, as it could make the experience truly amazing. With that small improvement, this place would be great.

My 2 year old daughter loved it! I think for 2 year olds it’s amazing. It’s not too big of a museum and not too small but just enough to keep their focus on it and to do another round to see the things they loved the most. A very good first introduction to animals, shells and fossils.

The museum is technically poor. The items are common, the taxidermy is bad, the insects in drawers are rotting to dust, the few labels provided are often wrong. But the displays are absolutely charming. Something in the honest optimism of this place feels like a child proudly displaying his finds and it is utterly endearing. It is a good sized collection for the scale of the building and I wish them the greatest of success. May it one day rival the best museums in the country. My few photos don't do it justice - it's definitely worth a look.

The WWII exhibits include a Spitfire engine that starts up every Sunday at 11am - its roar shakes the display cases. Personal letters from Cypriot soldiers are preserved under glass with their original wax seals intact. The curator knows which photo album contains hidden images of resistance fighters.

Good place with AC, but guy who working there didn’t wants to let us inside at 12:20 (he said that it’s open till 13:00) and was really unhappy about the fact that we still wanted to entrance there. Museum is for 10-15 minutes max.

Small but lovely 😊. A large collection of flora and fauna of Cyprus - very impressive collection. My kids (4 & 7) loved it. ✅ Signage could be improved. ❎ Nice large safe playground and public library next door. 👍🏻🤸🏼‍♂️

Great for a 3-Star Hotel For a 3-star hotel, this place exceeded my expectations. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was quite spacious, with nice extras like slippers and a bathrobe. The location is excellent, making it easy to get around. The only downside was the breakfast—it was quite average. However, considering the price, it was reasonable. Overall, a great stay for the value!

A nice small hotel located very conveniently close to the beach, Bars & Restaurants area, Big and comfortable rooms and Staff in mostly kind. However, No noise control - our room was facing the street, we had strong noises of traffic at night and strong noises from the floor corridor early in the morning.

Exceptional service. Breakfast meets anyone expectations. Room was clean, renovated, cleaned daily. Bathroom was spacious and shower was very powerful. Dressing gowns and slippers provided. Electronic safe. Air con. Staff was very friendly and polite. Highly recommend. Walking distance to the sea and historic places. Finicoudes beach is the best in Larnaca. Thank you very much for our welcomed enjoyable staying.

A 5/10 minute walk from Finikoudes beach which is very convenient. It is also a reasonable commute from other areas of cypress, so if you want to go for a walk, or catch a bus or cab nothing is too far. The hotel is fit for use, the breakfast is served every morning and staff also can take specific orders. There is a pool if you don't want to travel to a beach.

I’ve just returned from spending four nights here whilst in Larnaca visiting friends for a baptism. To be really honest, I think it offers incredibly good value. They have a 24 hour front desk, so were there to greet me when I arrived at 1:30am, and also to say goodbye when I left at 4am. They honoured all my requests and my standard room was perfect featuring a comfortable bed, bath, well-functioning AC and a desk. It was quiet for sleeping, had perfectly good WiFi for working and was cleaned each day, with extra tea and coffee provided so I could work in the room. They also supplied an iron upon request. The pool is also perfect for a morning swim, and it’s a short walk to almost everything in Larnaca. I do think the quality of some of the breakfast items could improve (I didn’t eat the cooked breakfast options, but they, along with some of the cured meats, could probably do with a review). All-in-all though, the room rate was already fabulous even if breakfast hadn’t have been included, so wouldn’t worry too much about this and it would not deter me from staying again and recommending to all.

I enjoyed this hotel very much, even though I spent only one night there. The staff was kind, the location is in a few minutes walk from the beach and they also had a minimarket attached to the hotel.

Had a very pleasant experience. Room was minimalistic, but very clean, all amenities worked. On overall, the place gives the impression of being well maintained. Location is also great, 5 minutes to the beach, 5 minutes away from a few local markets (one working till late in the evening), 10 minutes away from the airport by taxi. And a special thanks to the staff for finding me an accommodation late in the evening.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The shared spaces are beautiful and the pool was great for relaxing. Our room was clean and had good air conditioning. The food was tasty, and the staff were amazing – everyone was so friendly and helpful. The location is perfect too, close to everything. Excellent value for money! We stayed at Cactus Hotel in Larnaca for 4 nights in October. The rooms were nice and comfortable, breakfast was good, and the staff were kind. It’s a simple but pleasant hotel with great value for money — perfect for a relaxed stay near the beach and city center. 🌴✨ I would like to mention Evdokios for his wonderful special customer service with assisting us with all our special requests

We booked this hotel for 10 days and are really happy with our stay here! The hotel is located in a quiet neighbourhood, close to the airport, beach and city center. The room was cozy and clean. We really liked the pool area since it was nice and new. The staff was always super friendly. The value for the money is great since it doesnt feel like it only has 2 stars.

I really liked the hotel. It's 5 minutes away from a clean beach. The hotel is comfortable and has everything you need. The pancakes for breakfast were delicious. The staff was friendly, and special thanks to Evdokios for the pleasant atmosphere. We will definitely come back here.

A very clean, tidy, but basic hotel. The staff are great and go out of their way to help, but you'll have to pay extra for a fridge, and there's no kettle, or glasses. But you get what you pay for. Location is great, quiet residential area 3 mins from the beach. Plenty of free parking. Would I stay here again? Yes, but would be more prepared!

Stay with family and friends in two rooms. This hotel offers all the amenities you need for its category. The breakfasts are delicious and consistent, including hot and cold drinks, cold cuts, eggs, cheeses, vegetables: tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, milk, and cornflakes. Desserts and yogurts are always available. The hotel has a clean swimming pool with sun loungers. The staff is helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean, with daily housekeeping. Towels and linens are changed every three days. I highly recommend it.

It's a nice pier, because the whole area is nice. It enables you to go out a bit further to take pictures of the coastline. The pier itself is very small though and quite basic.

Very beautiful place to walk and enjoy the view

At the end of the pier you can see the whole of Larnaca bay and the beach front known as the Finikouthes (palm trees). There is a medieval castle also along with an old mosque. You can just see the tower. Look back up the pier and in the distance a Greek Orthodox church known as Saint Lazaros church were there is an basement floor housing the tomb of Lazaros himself through a glass cover that attracts many pilgrims to visit. Also the airport is beyond the medieval castle and planes come in from the sea direction to land at the airport only 400 feet approximately as make their decent. But be careful of the boardwalk because over time they are not even. Well worth a visit.

Pretty clean. Good thin sand. Clean water. Many pubs, tavernas, coffee shops, medieval museum, playgrounds, no parking places. McDonald's KFC Ocean Basket etc Food is good, mostly tavernas and restaurants have properly conditions to take a good meal. Single problem I found is the lack of original cypress seafood cuisine. All is pretty comercial and despite of the fact that Cyprus is an island, the don't offer good seafood products.

Nice place to take photos and check out the castel and the whole beach. There are some boats around however I do not think it is used much in that purpose. Nice to visit when walking.

Beautiful pier, it gets quite windy but it gives you a great view of the beach and the ocean!

The hotel is in a good location and gets good reviews. However when we tried to book it each time we looked the price increased and overall it increased by 10%. This hotel advertises that it participates in Booking.com Genius program. I am on level 3 which should give me at least 10% discount. When I logged in a different account without the Genius discount I got a better price. Go figure! Booking. Com website recommends hotels that participate in the Genius program NOT to use dynamic pricing. I don't appreciate to be misled. They lost my business.

From the most completed hotels I would say. Amazing sea view with the street from the balcony. Location is on the right spot as everything is very close from the hotel. The breakfast has so many options you will have to decide what to eat out of the variousness of the food. All the staff was very friendly and kind with a smile especially the reception, Ms.Anna answering every question and giving us everything we need without hesitation with a very happy and hospitality attitude. I would defined recommend this hotel again and again.

I just LOVE Ciao Stelio so much. We come over for work a lot, and it’s our most favorite hotel in Larnaca. The staff is fantastic, friendly And helpful. I feel home every time I come back here . The only downside can be the music from the near by hotel which usually stops by 11 pm. Thanks to all the amazing staff and my favourite Ana.

We were not able to arrive at the hotel due to extremely unique circumstances. Although we booked the hotel three days prior to arrival and had to cancel the reservation the evening before the planned arrival, there was no consideration what so ever on behalf of the hotel management. Yea, according the booking contract- the hotel was allowed to deny any refund - so legally they acted according to the agreement. However, even though we requested the hotel’s manger contact to see if anything can be done - we received no answer. I would definitely not recommend, due to poor communication and zero consideration of special circumstances.

I'm so pleased I found this place. We only staid for one night but what a lovely night! The staff were polite, friendly, helpful and attentive. We were greeted with smiles and a welcome drink of the best lemonade I've ever had! We were given a sea view room which was exceptional. The facilities in the room are five star, the bed was huge and so comfortable. There were chairs and a desk, as well as a fridge, tea and coffee making facilities and several lighting options. The rooms were wonderfully clean and the view from our balcony was amazing. We had dinner and breakfast here and both meals were of fantastic quality with very good service from the staff. We made a few requests such as spicing up a pizza at dinner and some coffee options at breakfast which the staff effortlessly accommodated which was really nice of them. 10/10 absolutely recommend and will be going back again myself.
