My experience in this beautiful hotel was amazing. The staff are great. I would really recommend. Unfortunately in the day I arrived for Check-in there was a guy from a country in Europe really impolite with the guests over there. It was quite uncomfortable to see that situation and I had to ask him to just wear a mask that the staff was asking him to wear but ironically he puts the mask she kindly gave him in his head saying that no one demands him to do anything. I would say that I also don't like to wear a mask, but I follow and repect the authorities in my country. But this situation was over after this guy got away from there with his wife. She even ripped off their reservation papers in a unbelievable way. I have just to say thank you for the staff from this hotel. They are really good in what they do. I really recommend this hotel. And I am confident that when I be back to Ilhéus with my future wife I will stay there.

Tried to do a check in here. Resulted in conflict with other guest that didn't like that me and my pregnant wife prefer to be without the mask. So for everyone prefer feeling super safe with all covid-19 restrictions, be free to visit. We are normal people sad to say prefer enjoy our stay in pleasure not pain. So left the paid room without possible check in. As the other guest was calling screaming to call the police on us. If the hotel prefer this guests and the business they bring it's there choosing. We left and checked in without problem at Jardim atlantic instead

The shower did not work and they were able to fix it only one day after we arrived. In spite of staying in the " Luxo" category, the firniture eas old, the bathroom was really small and the sink was linking.

The food quality is questionable—one dish (bife à parmigiana) was spoiled, but the chef refused to admit it. Dinner was better, which makes me think different teams work in the kitchen. The hotel doesn’t provide an ironing machine or a space for ironing, and when I asked why, the response was simply, “That’s how it works here.” Common areas, like the pool bathrooms, were extremely dirty. The pool itself was small and overcrowded, with a security guard who was rude to guests. Staff were generally friendly but slow to clean tables after meals. Rooms were basic but clean. In the end, my family and I decided to switch to Jardim Atlântico, which was 10 times better. I’m sad to write this, but I have to be honest—think twice before booking this hotel.

The people of Bahia is always very kind. The hotel have private parking with security at entrance. The breakfast is far beyond complete. You can have everything you want and a bit more. The room itself is functional, but very clean and spacious. The wifi is very fast and strong, without any access restrictions. You can have wifi even on the beach. I can really recommend this hotel.

In the north region of Brazil the service is really bad but in this resort it is above average. Great food, the restaurant is the 3rd city best. Ilheus beaches are awesome, the one in front of the resort is great. Great with kids.

I am giving 3 stars because we had the bad luck of getting a bedroom with a clogged toilet and the way the issue was solved was very weird (we had to move at midnight to another room just for the night because there wasn't a way to unclog our toilet). Also, the rooms were very moldy, but after we mentioned it, the ceiling and walls were cleaned. However, there was no compensation for any of our troubles. Also, we found the food expensive and the portions were not very big. Other than that, the pools and recreation areas were awesome! The group that works with entertaining the adults and kids, tio Dan, tio Cabrito, tia Pudim, tio Eder, and all the staff were amazing! We stayed mostly in the resort and we did not feel bored at all. We could stay more and 6 days easily. We played games, we danced by the pool, we participated in trivia with prizes and all. I would recommend.

Seriously good value, excellent service, no nonsense. Went there for friends' birthday party over the weekend (with kids), and liked it so much that decided to extend our stay until end of next week. That should say pretty much everything... but those of you who need more detail, do read on. Starting from day 1, the service was absolutely excellent. All staff are polite, attentive, and fully professional. A big shout goes here to Junior, who was our favourite host. He made our stay there even better :) As to facilities, They have dedicated kids' entertainers available all day, everyday, so all age groups will find something to do there! You can leave the kids with the entertainers, and go enjoy a cold brew in the pool bar, or go to the beach and enjoy a chilled coconut and listen to the waves, etc. The only service they didnt have was a babysitter... as we have a 5 month old... but then I believe this would no longer be a 3-star hotel ;) The food is just amazing. Starting from the breakfast buffet, through the bar snacks to restaurant meals, they are all: - relatively cheap (comparing to prices at other resorts) - very well prepared (not had a bad meal even once) - served quickly (the longest we waited was I believe about 15-20mins...for a moqueca, but had snacks in the meantime). - have a nice variety. The breakfast buffet has a few staples (eggs, omeletes, bread, etc.), but the rest changes and is freshly made every day of the week. The restaurant menu is what I would describe as Italian with a Brazilian twist. You will get a pizza, pasta, etc. but with Brazilian flavours, and add-ons... and also more local food such as fish, moqueca, or seafood in many different styles. They also serve Vegan food, and FYI... vegan Moqueca is to die for! As to the rooms, they are clean, no nonsense, with everything you may need. You won't sleep on silk here, or have water fountains in the room, but you will sleep in a clean, air conditioned and well cared for place. Again however, if the rooms were more modern and stylish, this would no longer be a 3-star place! One caveat here is the fact that some rooms are close to a noisy street... but you can choose a different room most of the time, as the place is rarely full... so not a problem ;) Overall, honestly can't complain about a single thing. For the price we paid for a full week of indulgence here(eating in, drinking and ordering room service as well as using the mini bar in the room), we would be able to afford 2-3 days only in some "all inclusive" resorts. Definitely recommended.

Great place. Actually cheaper than nearby 'pousadas' which another categorie below. This hotel is great from reception to access to the beach. Pools are nice and restaurant has good variety and better prices than most of other restaurants nearby. It has kids activities, karaoke.. sports cours, pool table and much more. Rooms are spacious and comfortable.

Just stayed here for 3 days. Excellent service, very clean and centrally located from the airport and not too far from town. The breakfast served had homemade style food from Bahia.

Our stay at Hibiscus Ilhéus was fantastic. The staff are great, they are very professional at their jobs and at the same time really pleasant to deal with.
