Barozzi Naxos Restaurant is a farm-to-table dining spot in Naxos town, offering a fine-dining experience with a focus on Naxian cuisine and local ingredients. The menu, designed by acclaimed Greek chef Gikas Xenakis and executed by chef Kostas Votanos, has received the Aegean Cuisine certificate and various distinctions. Housed in a renovated 1930s building, the restaurant provides an upscale option for gourmet enthusiasts.
We had an amazing dinner here two years ago. We are still thinking about how delicious it all was! The naxian cheese and the slow roasted goat are still gems we remember fondly. We left feeling full after the menu we had. We felt the portions were generous. We hope to return soon and for the restaurant to be open for years to come. ❤️

Probably the best meal we’ve had in Naxos. The quality of the food was fresh and unique, and even though some flavor pairings were hit or miss, the execution and the originality made it an interesting experience. The service was accommodating, fast, and kind. Island time is usually slow but Barozzi was prompt. The atmosphere is gorgeous and the resutarant was clean and classy.
Michelle W — Google review
What an amazing dining experience. We got the 5-course meal plus wine pairing with 6 wines and were thoroughly impressed. Each dish had some serious attention to detail and brought a new spin to some classics like a Greek salad. The highlight of the meal for us was the goat which was melt in your mouth good. We each got a different wine pairing too which I would recommend as it gave us around 10 different wines from across Greece to try. Don’t worry about the price, it’s all well worth it!

Not often you are wondering the streets of a foreign island looking for something to eat (nothing special, just local fresh food), and you come across a true hidden gem. The restaurant itself looks like an art gallery, very modern with an elegant touch, simply put a very pleasant place to be (regardless of the exquisite meal that’s coming ahead). The service was fenomenal. Gave us very good wine recommendations and were very accommodating with my nut allergy (I have been to places where the chef would not alter his/her creations and you would simply need to skip the dish). They only serve Greek products (from the bread, to the olive oil, to the wine and the raw materials that make every single dish), and I must say they surpassed all expectations. The wine menu (while only offering Greek options), was varied and quite original. We started with an Orange wine (refreshing and crisp - Kind of a mix between white and rose with a light citrus touch), and continued with a delicious Syrah (very flavourful - one glass was enough for the full meal, and kept the flavour pretty well). The food was extraordinary (top 10-15 I have had in the world). We went with the 7 course tasting menu, which was the best decision we could have possibly made. An image is worth a thousand words (so see a pic of each dish). The key highlight was how the chef was able to create an incredible “espuma” that accompanied several dishes, which was very light and at the same time incredibly tasty. A mix between foam and purée (I am calling it foamée). Surprisingly, the restaurant hasn’t been caught by the Michelin guide and is yet to be awarded at least 1 very well deserve star! It was a perfect unexpected experience which makes it even more memorable. Worth the trip to Naxos just to try this place. We will be back!
Felix R — Google review
While food look pretty. Most of the dishes has fundamental critical errors when eating. Makes a lot sense y why the restaurant was so empty on a Friday night. I sound like such a hater, but appearance cannot compensate for bad flavors. Spent $259+ after tip. Just spend that money on Elliniko, so much more worth it.
Eujin L — Google review
The service is excellent. The food were very creative and presentation was well done! We both enjoyed this fine dinning experience, appreciated the pace on the food delivery, as they always arrive at the right moment. We ordered 2 different 5-courses meal, they delivered 8 dishes to us(3desserts in total). Thank you so much!! It started with Amuse bouche (very tasty), We LOVE the Naxian Beef, Grilled Squid, Slow Roasted Goat (so soft!), they are all must try!!! The dessert was amazing, it brought a perfect ending to the meal. Wine was very very good as well. It definitely worth the money!

Amazing dinner in Naxos! Everyone was extremely knowledgeable and helpful for dishes and wine pairings. Beautiful space and decor. Truly representative of the Naxos terroir and cuisine. One of the best meals we have had in Greece.

Oniro Wine Bar Restaurant is a hidden gem nestled in the heart of Chora, offering an intimate atmosphere and friendly service. The restaurant boasts two roof garden terraces with breathtaking sunset views over the village, castle, and sea. Their menu features delectable Naxian specialties made with locally sourced ingredients, such as kalogeros (beef stew) and gruyere kataifi (local cheese wrapped in shredded phyllo).
If you’re looking for the perfect authentic Greek sunset restaurant, this is your place’ The perfect sunset dinner spot. The food is really good, service is super kind, could be a little bit more attentive (but really, they are so nice, it’s just a recommendation for improvement). Would come back every time.

Most beautiful place on the Island. The food is out of this world, best mashed potatoes in the milky way. You should definitely visit!!
Swisswhite 2 — Google review
This is a hidden gem. Approximately 5 minutes walk from the overrated, highly priced, poor service of the Avaton. We accidentally came across the Oniro direction sign, took a chance & walked towards the restaurant. We noticed it said rooftop dining with harbour view so went up 2 flights of stairs, came out & was immediately hit with the view. There is a side balcony as well as the main rooftop dining area & both offer views. The food was absolutely amazing & delicious. Admittedly it is a small family run business so it does take a while for your food to arrive, but when it comes out of the dumbwaiter(the food is cooked 3 floors down)the aromas get your mouth salivating. The ambiance is chilled, laid back vibe with jazz/lounge music in the background & not loud at all. The staff are friendly & genuine.
John C — Google review
Intimate restaurant with a creative menu and a nice rooftop. Ideal for date ambiance. Music was a bit dirge-like and dishes weren’t generous, but some evenings don’t require a moussaka gut buster.
Greg W — Google review
The restaurant is located a few steps from the main streets. It acts as a peaceful Greek lagoon a small distans from the busy touristy street. It’s a bit tricky to find but it’s worth the slight confusion among the narrow streets. When you reach the restaurant you will be greeted by a nice gentlemen. A small climb up two stairs take you to the roof. The roof acts as an oasis where you can relax and watch the magnificent sunset. Just make sure to book a table at the right hour. The food was immaculate and amazing. We order the vegetarian moussaka from the special menu and the tzatziki meets the avocado. And also the Greek salad. You come for the sunset and the atmosphere you stay for the food. Book a table now!
Rickard J — Google review
Gorgeous rooftop restaurant with stunning views of the sunset. We originally went to Avaton just a 30 second walk away however we spotted this rooftop bar on our way up to Avaton so went here instead and so glad we did! Much much better views and amazing service. Food was BEAUTIFUL! Definitely recommend the naxian cheese starter wrapped in the crispy birds nest style pastry.
Rhianne C — Google review
Amazing wine bar! Very affordable when sharing plates. Super fresh ingredients, interesting twists on traditional Greek classics. Highlights were the octopus and the whole fish.
Alice A — Google review
We stumbled upon this place as it was next to where we were staying and absolutely loved it! We went for sunset and dinner one night and got a table with a great view. All of the food was delicious with traditional Greek options as well as some more modern takes. It was quiet and they had a great playlist going to set the mood. Ended up being one of our favourite dinners on our trip to Greece. Would highly recommend!

To Elliniko Restaurant offers a laid-back atmosphere and serves traditional regional cuisine. It is located near the police station and features live music. The restaurant is known for its good food and great service, making it a popular choice among locals and tourists alike. The cozy indoor seating provides a warm escape from chilly temperatures, while the outdoor terrace offers a pleasant dining experience. Reservations are recommended as the restaurant tends to fill up quickly due to its excellent food and inviting ambiance.
The best place to eat in Naxos main town by far. We went there twice because the food was really good. Moussaka was very good. Loved stuffed peppers and tomatoes. Lovely cats sleeping around. Great atmosphere! Reasonable prices and decent portions. Would recommend booking in advance as this place is busy all the time and you won’t get a table unless booked
Kernius K — Google review
I ordered the baby goat. It was absolutely wonderful and the portion was generous. I could not finish it and had to so takeaway. The Tzatziki was so refreshing but the best was quite tough. Still the best meal I’ve had in Greece. They also served orange cake as complimentary after bill. One thing, It was an outdoor restaurant, we went in daytime so it was pretty hot. Would recommend to come for dinner.
Sarochinee J — Google review
Great restaurant with an amazing atmosphere, attention to detail. Very romantic and picturesque garden/terrace. Great local food and delicacies. We visited it four years ago and had to come back this time again to check if it was still good. While it got super touristy and packed with American tourists, the overall experience was very good.
Vahap A — Google review
I don’t usually review places right after visiting them - maybe many months pass after I get a reminder do I write a review, but today’s visit To Elliniko merits an immediate shout out, and sharing with the world what a worthy visit this was. They had the best food we’ve had in Greece so far (including having been taken out to eat by Greek friends in Athens), they had the most generous portions, and above all they had a superb family friendly atmosphere and vibe that just made you jive with the place. We’ve been meaning to come here all week (we’re staying a bit far) but made it today with our 6 month old baby, a little weary about potential rain… the staff were attentive, they kept giving kind smiles to our baby, and the owner even offered to carry him for 10 mins while we ate (he was a bit fussy got his first tooth yesterday)… we’ve experienced first hand how much Greeks dote over babies here, it this was above and beyond 5 star service. The atmosphere is unpretentious yet refined, the taste is five stars yet the portions are very very generous, especially given that the prices are quite fair - we had the moussaka, which is easy to mess up, and this was easily the best I’ve ever tasted! My husband who finds lamb gamey, said he’d eat lamb every day if it tasted like the grilled lamb chops we ordered. We still had leftovers to bring home. Do yourselves a favor and run, don’t walk to this beautiful, family-owned restaurant if you’re lucky to be in Naxos. The many reviews don’t lie. Gracias por una linda experiencia.

Excellent meal with a sassy cat friend! Loved the vegetarian moussaka and the Naxian salad was perfect. Best dolmas I had in Greece (order then for sure!). The seating, service, and general vibe was great. 10/10, definitely recommend coming by. I can see why so many locals recommended it!
Casey L — Google review
Wow! Wish we ate here earlier, would have come back a second time! Food is really nice and amazing value for money! The vine leaves are a must with the yoghurt dip. The moussaka is unbelievable and the orange cake 😙👌 — thank you for having us! 🙏🙌
Matthew H — Google review
We went back here twice during our stay. The service is great plenty of staff on hand. We have the whitebait appetiser, beetroot salad & lamb chops (4) which comes with roasted vegetables & potatoes. We shared & was so full. The portions are generous. Super tasty. Chops are €17. We had 1lt of local white wine at €14, cheapest yet. You can't go there if it is raining as it's open air, very small undercover area. Thank you for proper food.

I was recommended this restaurant from my accommodation place as I was looking for somewhere special to go for my birthday. I was not disappointed. The food was amazing. I had the Kleftiko and it was like unwrapping a birthday present. The lamb was melt in your mouth and the flavours were so good. My companion had the Pork Rosto and it was equally tender and flavourful. We both left with full bellies. I highly recommend.

Faros tou Alykou is a restaurant located at Agia Anna beach in Naxos, offering organic dishes and a stunning view of the beach. Visitors have raved about the delicious meals, including tender wild goat, grilled shrimp, Mediterranean salad, and delectable fries. The wine selection is extensive, and diners can enjoy their meal in the courtyard with an ocean view. Guests have also praised the hospitable and friendly service.
We just spent a month in Naxos and ate at Faros at least 5 times. The ambiance is quiet and cool, trees growing throughout the restaurant. If you get there before dark, there is a beautiful view of the water and sunset. Food and service was a 10/10!! We loved the fried zucchini and hummus as well as the pumpkin w/feta. We also really enjoyed the octopus and the beef pot with eggplant and cheese. Cheesecake was also a fan favorite!! All the service staff were highly attentive and the owner was very kind and personable as well. Would highly recommend and we can’t wait to return!

Freshest salad and fruit I’ve eaten since arriving in Greece. Their little hot pots were delicious. Lots of options on the menu and the staff were wonderful every-time. Consistently great. Perfect serving sizes and value for money. I’m staying in a villa here and every meal has been amazing. So many people outside the hotel stopping here throughout the day for the great food and views. Easy walking distance to Hawai and Alykó beaches. I honestly cannot rate this place high enough 🇦🇺🫶

Lovely food! But massive portions. Hubby and I definitely didn't need a mains each. One mains and salad would have been sufficient! They had live music on a Saturday which was good fun to watch. Sadly we didn't get to try the liquor shot that others were given at the end of the meal.

If I had to describe culinary perfection in one word, I would use “Faros”. We fell in love with Faros 7 years ago, when we discovered Naxos. And now, a total of 50 weeks spent on the island later, it remains our favorite. The food is authentic, fresh, delicious! Only a family owned restaurant could ever achieve this quality and perfection. Faros is not a business. It is passion and cooking for everybody as if they are part of their family. So many thanks to Stefanos for welcoming us year after year!

Been coming back every year for 3 years—always worth the scooter ride! Great atmosphere, amazing food, and Stefanos never disappoints with the warm welcome and thanks for tonight lovely bottle of wine. See you again soon! 🍷🇬🇷

Excellent food and service! My husband broke a plate when the bottle slipped from his hand and they were very gentle handing the situation. Besides the service that was TOP the food was delicious (best tomato croquettes ever) and the beer was super cold! Do not miss this place. It’s a gem!

Located in the charming Naxos Old Town, La Vigne is a hidden gem offering a unique wine experience. Tucked away near Agios Spyridon church, this intimate wine bar boasts a constantly changing selection of Greek and French wines hand-picked by the French proprietresses. In addition to its diverse collection of local and international wines, including organic options and French champagne imports, La Vigne also serves top-notch Greek, French, Asian, and Caribbean-inspired cuisine in a cozy setting.
Amazing food, with beautiful flavour combinations. The ladies that own the restaurant are the heart and soul, which made this a highlight of our culinary experience in Naxos. This is a must do whilst on the island
Zac F — Google review
Always a gem. A great gastronomic experience. We had visited ten years ago, were enthused by its plates and the wine list. So we came back and the French ladies amazed us again : Myanmar was a main dish with monkfish and prawns, with ginger sauce and other flavors. Only one word: divine! The ambience great as always.
George P — Google review
Truly a hidden gem in a very narrow street with cute little church under the castle. Would you try Asian flavours with Mediterranean fusion and local ingredients? This is THE place created by two Frenchies who moved permanently to Naxos many years ago. Loved my local seabass with coconut ginger sauce (if I’m not mistaken) and the #burrata with frozen basil tomato and the ceviche were to die for! The wines from Crete and fantastic desserts makes it a perfect combo. Don’t miss it if you want to try something different than the typical local cuisine.
Kostas K — Google review
Interesting greek-french-asian cuisine, full of flavours. Probably this gives a chic touch. It is hidden in Chora streets.
Codrut D — Google review
An excellent restaurant and lovely French owners. We found it by accident on our first night and liked it so much we went back the following evening. Delicious fresh fish and other very good menu options.
Lindsey M — Google review
The foods and wines are amazing. They know well what that are doing and give good recommendations. Their service is cute and honest (not everyone appreciates it, but they are always full and busy). If you catch them when they almost finish their day, you’ll have a lovely talk and a wonderful experience in this restaurant!
Thierry L — Google review
Strongly recommend walking RIGHT PAST this place and into the Labrynth or Naxos Cafe!! Attached is a screenshot of the Google description “wine bar”, as well as several travel guides who have this description including their website listed also. We sat down to purchase a bottle of wine and small plate from here and were literally told to leave because we did not want to order two full dinners! We walked over 30 minutes to get to this specific “wine bar” and were so excited for the experience. We were shocked to discover the owners would rather abruptly turn down at least €75-100 in wine and small plates to kick us (party of two adults) out due to not wanting a heavy meal? We enjoyed several glasses of wine and a much better atmosphere at Naxos Cafe just around the corner! Such a rude and unfortunate interaction that could have very easily been a wonderful evening. We should have read the responses to previous reviews on both Google and TripAdvisor prior to our visit as there is clearly a VERY nasty undertone to the interactions with many others as well. Beware!
Sarah — Google review
This is THE secret hidden gem of Naxos. The owners are the sweetest humans I’ve ever met with such great stories and conversation. The food is creative and delicious. And the atmosphere is quiet and hidden and beautiful. We felt so welcome and charmed - definitely a highlight of our whole Naxos experience.

Palatia Beach Restaurant is a traditional eatery situated conveniently on Agia Anna Beach. This charming restaurant operates all day from April to October and serves delectable dishes prepared using authentic Naxian recipes and locally sourced ingredients. Adjacent to the restaurant, Palatia offers beachside seating for an affordable price of 10 euros.
Must stop by! A beautiful little rustic tavern right by the sea. Located directly on Agia Anna beach on the island of Naxos, this charming place immediately wins you over with its warm and welcoming atmosphere. Behind it all is a positive, smiling, kind, attentive, and efficient team — led by a great chef — who truly care about the satisfaction of every guest. The dishes are excellently prepared with high-quality ingredients. When you stop by, you must try something from the sea, but don’t miss the “Rosto” – a local Naxian specialty. Whatever you choose, I hope you feel the same special vibe we did. Highly recommended! Love it. 💥💫♥️
Ajda E — Google review
I stopped here for a late lunch/early dinner because it is right on the beach in a beautiful spot at Agia Anna. Since it is the end of the season I had my pick of seats so I initially chose to sit outside but then moved inside as the sun started shining too much in my face. Both seats had beautiful sea views. The atmosphere in the restaurant is nice. It is open to the beach and the decor reflects its beachy location. They had low music playing - covers of well-known tracks done in a laid-back style, which suited the place. I had the pork souvlaki and it was good. I don't have any other souvlaki experience to compare it to (I don't usually eat pork unless I know it's free range), so I've included a photo for reference. The waiter was young and doing his best from what I could tell. He wasn't particularly friendly but it is the end of the season after all. Overall I would recommend this place to others and I would eat here again myself.
Ana M — Google review
We passed by this place earlier in the day on our way to the beach, checked out the menu, and decided to come back for dinner with the whole family. We started with two Spritz, juices and a plate of fresh anchovies with herbs and pink peppercorns; which were super refreshing and flavorful. For mains, my wife had the grilled squid, while I tried the stuffed squid with tomato, green pepper, and cheese; which gave a bit of a twist and unique taste. The kids went for the carbonara pasta, which they really enjoyed (and they're quite some experts!). The sunset setting added so much to the experience. The service was professional and kind, though not the most cheerful. A smile or a bit more warmth would’ve made it feel even more special, but everything else was on point. All in all, a great spot for a relaxed evening by the sea with solid food and a beautiful view.

Great place to sit by the beach and have a meal! The water was crystal clear and the food was great. We had some drinks and the waitress was very attentive and friendly. We had a salad with octopus, calamari, and sundried tomato, and a fava bean hot appetizer. We would love to come here again!

Our family and I were looking for the best seafood restaurant around Agios Prokopios and we found Palatia Beach Restaurant. We had the best experience dining at the beach, next to the ocean, overseeing the lights at nearby Paros island while treating ourselves to the most exquisite Naxos cuisine. We had the Guna fish, the shrimp with feta cheese and for my non-seafood lover kid, the pork slouvaki. We are going back for more tomorrow, can’t wait!
Christian L — Google review
We really love this place, and every time we’re on Naxos, we visit (several times). We always reserve a table on the upper deck, outside the restaurant and above the beachside tables. Although passersby do walk by here, the view of the sea and the sunset behind the mountains of the neighboring island Paros is simply breathtaking! We love the atmosphere, the relaxed, attentive, and personal service, the excellent Greek wines (and Ouzo & Raki), and the delicious food! This time we had stuffed vine leaves, saganaki with sesame, honey & bacon, and for the main course, grilled stuffed calamari. Next time we visit Naxos, we will definitely come back here again…

This place is delicious! The fried cheese, steamed mussels, white sangria... Everything was so good!

An absolute favourite. We tried other restaurants but kept returning to Palatia as the quality of their food and variety of their menu was exceptional. I really can't get my head around how the chefs and the service staff together serve such quality food to so many so quickly. Scorpion fish, rib eye steak and prawn risotto all favourites. Oristos was such a friendly and professional waiter.

It's conveniently located near the bus stop, making it an accessible choice for beachgoers. The restaurant offers delicious fast food options, with a special mention of their spit-roasted pork and lamb during the day.
Amazing authentic gyro and kebab spot steps away from the beach. The chicken and pork gyros were both incredible and some of the best I’ve had anywhere in the world! Very good prices too.

Highly Recommend! Busy at night! Will wait for table… can’t wait, take out and sit by the sea and enjoy the water with sunset, no people no problem. Get the pork gyro plate for major meat! With a cold Greek beer. Delicious tavern on the Naxos island… maybe the best who knows… it is popular for a reason. Love the head mama in charge. She is sweet accommodating, hard working and no nonsense. You got to love it!

Very solid gyro! The fries and veggies were fresh! The onions were a little stringy though so keep that in mind. The meat could be a little more juicy/fatty but this was nearly a perfect gyro to me. I also really liked the cheese in their salad.
Sameet S — Google review
Absolutely delicious food and great service! The Greek salad was incredibly fresh and flavorful, and my partner's Yiaourtlou kebab was just as tasty perfectly seasoned and cooked. The service was friendly and efficient, and the food arrived super fast. We were pleasantly surprised by the value: only €28, including a large bottle of sparkling water. The restaurant is just a short walk from the beach, and the prices were much better than nearby places. A top choice for quality, service, and value highly recommended!

Great place to get authentic greek gyros and souvlaki. Pitas are also very tasty and so is tzatziki. Service is impeccable and waiters are cool. We went there almost every day two years ago and are happy to see they are still a top place on Naxos island again this year!

Great chicken fillet and lamb chops. Amazing food overall. We came here once and had to return again while in Naxos. The service is great, atmosphere very pleasant. This place is packed and there’s a good reason why. One of the best kebabs in agios prokopios. Thank you very much!

We were in Naxos for 4 nights and we ate at Lefto’s each and every night. After we tried the chicken and pork gyros on night 1 we were hooked. The kebabs (especially the Yiaourtlou Kebab) are out of this world! Most importantly, the staff are incredibly warm and welcoming. You must come here if you like incredible food and incredible people!

Best Gyro and Souvlaki in Naxos and Greece. Thank you Katia and Clif for always making us feel like family. We can’t wait to come again, many times!!

Stou Vasilarakiou Steakhouse, located in Kinidaros village, is more than just a steakhouse - it's a versatile restaurant offering a variety of dishes. The outdoor seating by the grill provides an authentic BBQ experience, with Vasili and his family running the show. While parking may be challenging, the charming surroundings and delicious food make it worth the visit. Known for serving some of the best meats on Naxos island at reasonable prices, this spot is perfect for meat lovers.
One of the best restaurants in Naxos is located at the charming village of Kinidaros. Here, you can enjoy delicious food made from local produced daily fresh ingredients. The service was excellent, and we had a nice time with our kids.

had a wonderful lunch here! large portions so come hungry/with a group cuz theres lots you should try. the tomatos were so sweet and juicy. absolutely incredible. the fried zucchini is also a must-order theyre so crispy but also impossibly light. the cheese was also really delicious and perfectly salty and paired really well with the sweetness of the tomatos. the steak was delicious as well, though we ordered it medium rare and it came out more medium-well on the thinnest parts of it. was absolutely delicious and still juicy nonetheless. overall incredible meal well worth the trip from town

Exceptional traditional tavern with high quality meats and premium cuts. I ordered beef steak and it was grilled exactly to my preference. The service is impeccable and everyone is friendly. The place is nicely decorated with items from the past and there is a collection of old bottles of spirits on display. The cheese platter is a must, especially if you are into discovering the variety of cheese produced in the island. You need a reservation if you want to be seated in the outside areas. Will definitely go back!

We made a reservation. We got to sit outside which was very cute. We got the Greek salad with their local cheese (kind of like ricotta) which was incredible. The pickled peppers are very good too. We also ordered the dry aged beef fillet which was cooked to perfection and expertly seasoned. If you are looking for an authentic Greek meal that won’t break the bank, put this place on your list!

Authentic place where you can enjoy proper meat, as they are meat specialists, also butcher shop in case you want to cook it home. Good wine menu too and excellent desserts. Definitely a recommended place.

An incredible experience. The real Greece. Tradicional food and excellent service. Specialist in meat.

Absolutely delicious! My wife and I came to Naxos a couple of years ago and a local told us to come to this restaurant for a visit. We came, we ate, we left very happy! Two years later we find ourselves once again here at the restaurant and just enjoyed yet another superb meal of fresh cheese and cold cuts, tzatziki, pita bread and stunning lamb chops. Wonderful experience, we look forward to returning again when we visit Naxos in the future!

Great recommendation from our guesthouse. A nice drive up there. We also had great meat and an outstanding service! After 4 years we came back and it is still a great restaurant for perfect meat!! (Don’t know about the other food 😬) We had the fillet and the sausage with chilly and cheese what was outstanding!!

To Spitiko Naxos is a charming family-run grill house located at the port, offering a wide variety of meat and vegetable dishes made from locally sourced ingredients. The casual atmosphere makes it perfect for enjoying the sunset or grabbing a quick bite before heading to nearby bars. They are known for their souvlaki and gyros, but also offer an array of other Greek delicacies. Additionally, they serve excellent Greek beer and wine.
Perfect spot for a quick lunch. Right on the water, the service was quick and friendly. We indulged in a chicken and mixed gyro, Greek salad, chicken kebab, and OJ. This was the perfect quick bite leaving us very satisfied:)

Just had a quick pork gyros as we’ve eaten so much already in Naxos! Gyros was tasty enough but when we asked for the bill the server didn’t give us one (which is unusual but didn’t think anything of it), just asked if we wanted to pay by card or cash. Said card, paid and asked from the receipt. Used google translate and it says that he added a tip of 10% without asking us. Haven’t experienced this anywhere else in Naxos or Athens. We left a cash tip to it’s very dishonest to do that and hope that tourists won’t check the receipt. Would not recommend this place, there are other gyros places that won’t try to scam you.

It was a beautiful night after seeing the sunset at the Temple of Apollo... our group felt like gyros. After a stroll down the main road along the waterfront, we came across Spit Naxos... And we had a wonderful experience. Waiters were very accommodating to our group of 11. An extra table taken from the inside and extra chairs brought out for us. It took a while for our order to go in ... many other patrons already seated and their takeout service was very steady, as I could see. It took over an hour to get order in and food brought to our table. Thankfully, it was a beautiful night -- mild and slight breeze. Overall, food was excellent -- wonderful taste, great portion sizes. Only one our group was disappointed -- the chicken on a spit ... flavor was great but was lukewarm. Perhaps the chicken was done first and the rest of the order slowed down the delivery. Otherwise, a top notch dinner.

Very friendly staff and great food. I got the pork Gyro and my wife got roasted chicken, both were very good. They seemed to also have plenty of outdoor seating. Prices were on average. One last thing I noticed- the fries in Greece are generally just OK- much better in the USA. But the fries here were probably the best I had during our stay in Greece. So that's something!

Very friendly owners and tasty food. We didnt have any expectations since it was the first Gyros restaurant we went to after arriving in Greece for the first time. We both ordered pork gyros and it was very good. We also enjoyed the beautiful view on the harbor while eating.

Nice location on the main street by the water. Service is absolutely dreadful, the guy was so sassy and rude to us. He originally wanted us to move to a smaller table but we didn’t want to because it was much windier there. Because we hadn’t moved he was so pissy at us, even though someone else had sat down at the table he wanted us to move to. So what’s the point of being mad since there was nowhere for us to move to? There was a party of 3 he wanted to seat at our table. It took forever for him to take our order, he even put down a placemat and immediately removed it when we said we were just getting one gyro. I confronted him and asked why he was so angry at us and he said because we didn’t move. I asked what he wanted us to do about it since the table is now occupied? Another table opened up so he moved us to that one. We went inside to ask if they could make the gyro with mayo instead of tzatziki bc we forgot to tell the waiter when ordering, and wanted to let them know asap before they made it, and they said to tell our waiter. And he wasn’t friendly about it. JjWhen we caught the waiter, we asked that it doesn’t have tzatziki because we’re lactose intolerant. He rolled his eyes and said “then what do you want on it” and stormed off. Then when the gyro came, I asked if there was mayo on it, he rolled his eyes and then had it adjusted. I had a bite of the gyro and it wasn’t even that good, there are better ones out there. But the service here all around is awful - the guy who waited on us outside needs to learn proper customer service, it completely soured my experience and made me lose my appetite, even the guy inside was rude. I don’t know what the deal is with this place but they need to learn to treat their customers better.

Perfect spot to eat a very good pita gyro just before/after the ferry! The waiter was really nice, the saganáki was spot on and the gyros were flavourfull🤤

Quick service and super friendly staff but not the best gyros I’ve had. €4 for chicken gyros. Chips were cold.

Nostos Studios in Naxos offers beautiful and comfortable rooms with brand new bathrooms and nice kitchenettes. The location is amazing, centrally located above the sea. The reception and service are great, making for a pleasant stay. Guests appreciate the modern rooms, lovely balconies, and convenient proximity to the beach, shops, restaurants, bars, and clubs.
We had a brilliant stay at Nostos Studios. Sandy met us with a smile at 1am after our ferry was delayed which was hugely appreciated. The room was lovely and modern, especially the bathroom which had the best shower 😍 we had a gorgeous balcony too. It’s in the perfect location to walk to the beach and the shops and restaurants, and a few streets away from the bars and clubs so noise isn’t a problem. Would recommend staying to anyone! We booked directly too which was really easy.

I have nothing but amazing things to say about this place. They were so hospitable. The place was so clean and comfortable. The lady was so sweet. She gave us an umbrella when it was raining and I felt so at home. I would recommend this!

Nostos Studios. We had an excellent stay at Nostos Studios, when we arrived Sandy greeted us and showed us to our rooms and brought us an ice cream as a welcome. The beds were comfortable and the showers had plenty of hot water. It's in the perfect location, just outside of all the shops and local restaurants all within a 5 minute walk and very close to the water. You can also see the temple of Apollo from the terrace. Check out is at 11 but our ferry wasn't until 3 and Sandy was kind enough to let us keep our bags there while we walked around the town and killed some time, the epitome of Greek hospitality (she even gave us some fresh cookies to take with us) you should definitely stay here on your trip to Naxos.

What a great place to stay in Naxos! A perfect location, right between the beach and town. In a lovely quiet neighborhood that made you feel right at home. The staff were incredibly accommodating, letting us leave our bags before check in and allowed us a late check out after a delay in our ferry. The room was spotless and cleaned every day while we were away exploring the island. Highly recommended and hope to come back in the future!
