The views are stunning, alot of the animals are not visible or out when we were there, it's all uphill so with kids in buggies it's a nightmare, the cafe is up the very top. Exhausting on a warm day. There's no sign posts, you'd very easily get lost with no directions as the map doesn't help an awful lot.

The zoo was enjoyable. Saw lots of cute animals like meerkats and penguins. Only two downsides is that I didn't see some of the animals like the bear and the wolf and it gets tiring walking up the steep hills. My legs were very sore afterwards.

Visited the zoo on a cool November midweek visit. The last time I had visited was over 6yrs ago. Cafe closed, hot food vender on site, however no option to get a tea or coffee. Well the zoo has not changed much, if anything it is showing signs of it needing a refresh. Granted there is a new lion enclosure and seating, but in its day you could see polar bears - this enclosure is now home to a bear. Maybe generous with the 4, but having availed of discount through a third party, did not pay the full price

Loved how quiet it was as I visited on a wet bank holiday. I only saw a few other families. All the staff were lovely and food was tasty when I bought a toasties from the tree top tea rooms. I loved seeing the gorrillas and Scottish wild cats! The zoo is very hilly. It was a decent day out.

Nice enough zoo, though not many predators and the bear didn’t make an appearance. Get ready for some hill walking - the only open cafe was at the very top of the park so no choice if you didn’t bring your own drinks. Never saw a meerkat eat a whole rat before but it was impressive.

Didn’t think it was the most well kept zoo comparing to other zoos I’ve seen before. The cafe area was not working at all and the vending machines were impossible to get a hot drink also. In a cold day would be great to be able to grab a hot drink while visiting. Unfortunately most animals didn’t come out so we didn’t get to see them.

Lots of animals to see, some of the glass is a bit grubby from the inside so it's hard to take photos. Spoke to a few of the keepers, very sociable! It's a big walk with steep hills but the views of Belfast (and the chimps!) is worth it! A lot of the place hasn't been fixed up or renewed sadly, very sad to see the Floral Hall is still a derelict ruin.

What a gem! Such a fascinating house with mix of different eras a Ross the family generations. Staff were a delight and we had an unexpected personal tour of the house. Thoroughly recommend you go!

Lovely historic farm house, possibly one of my favourites. Not your average manor house you'll find dotted everywhere across the British isles, a much more familiar and "lived in" place where one can truly take a plunge into the old way of farm life... Staff was excellent too!

A nice place to visit, small but with a nice coffee shop. Interesting history. We went on the European Heritage Weekend and really enjoyed the story telling!

Beautiful place on top of the hill. Worth exploring. Can be a bit problematic to see everything with a pram. They do have a place to leave your pram at.

Very enjoyable and interesting experience with wonderful views. It has a small but lovely garden and is situated in rolling country side. The guides were very kind and the shop had a good variety of products.

It is a beautiful, calm, and quiet area for families and children. There is a stunning dancing trees garden and walkway near the sea.

Beautiful park with amazing views. Public toilets nice and clean! Nice place for a walk (with your dog aswel) or a picnic, benches everywhere so you can enjoy and relax.

Nice peaceful place we come across when visit northern Ireland. Park where you can do your daily exercise, walk along the sea side get you fresh air and watch big ferries surfing to port. Enjoyable place would recommend to visit.

Have always wanted to visit here so today we did, just as a taster. It is really lovely and was surprisingly free of litter. The King Charles and Queen Camilla Royal Garden is well worth a visit. As this was a quick visit we will definitely be back to enjoy the fantastic scenery and numerous walks.

Spent a perfect first night in our campervan here after staring from Dublin ☺️ Nice view, very quiet and also quite even parking slots. Public toilets were also fine!

Playground under maintenance. Busy at the weekends. The beach is full of rocks and seaweed. Lots of rockpooling opportunities. The sea is lovely 😍 🌊 🦭

We stayed for 2 nights at the end of May. (2 Adults and a 6yr old). Lovely compact campsite on the shores of the Lough with a fantastic play park and green area for children just outside the gate. Facilities were spotless. Lovely cafe next to the premises. Bus stop right outside the gate. Great spot for exploring Belfast, Jordanstown, Carrickfergus and the surrounding area. We will be back

The park sits right on the lough, offering great views across to Holywood. You can get teas, coffees, snacks and ice-cream at the café and there are toilet facilities. There is a large open green area on either side of the car park which is great for family outings and picnics. There is also outdoor gym equipment if you're feeling energetic! The area on the right of the car park has a well equipped playground for kids of all ages. Lovely place to relax and watch the world go by. You might even be fortunate enough to catch a brass band playing in the bandstand.

Very nice but somtimes cold and windy beach, walk is great, playground good. There are ice creams and toilets. Up to 5pm there is some food, snacks served in the cafe.

Great spot for walks with good carpark including electric charge point, toilets and coffee shop. Play park with variety of swings for younger children. Can safely walk along shoreline towards Hazelbank and even on to Belfast (Duncrue Street).

The gym is very spacious with excellent machines! Absolute fantastic treadmills which can be set to benifits all users. With guides to improve you posture and proper use of the machine. The staff are really friendly and extremely helpful. Very clean and easy to get help and advice on any questions on equipment. Amazing gym and I would be lost without it. Excellent service from the minute you walk in the front doors! Keep up the super work!

I’ve been using Valley Leisure Centre for a few months now and really enjoy it. The gym has a good range of modern equipment, and it’s never too crowded. Staff are friendly and always happy to help. The pool is clean, well-maintained, and perfect for both casual swims and proper training. Great value for money and a solid choice if you’re in the area.

Been at the valley for years then moved away for 11 years and now back. And have been made to feel as welcome as I was back then. Love the place and the gym staff and reception staff to all very helpful and couldn’t ask for any better. Great guys. Keep up the good work it’s because off people like you that people like me want to come back in the lowest off times especially with our weight issues. You always encourage people in every way. Nice pool fun place my kid went there and loved it. except the place was filthy hair everywhere and the kiddy pool was really dirty but overall nice place. The badminton pitch also wasn’t half bad

Very good leisure centre, the place is spotless clean, swimming pools are a good temperature for the kids, plenty of changing rooms and family changing rooms and loads of onsite parking. Gym is a decent sizes with the the equipment you'd expect. There's a fun zone but wasn't open when I was there.

Fantastic experience with young kids. So many levels, so educational, could spend days here and not see or cover everything. Very reasonably priced, a play area and a climbing area for kids. Plenty of places to get food and snacks, a great gift shop and very friendly staff all around. Each level has its own attractions and will keep kids of all ages busy, could not recommend it more. The only downside is they could do with more lifts as they are very busy, and the fact that you have to book online is a little frustrating.

I can't believe how amazing this place is and how great it is value for money wise. We spent around 4 hours in here today and it is definitely the best science centre we have been to so far. So much to do and loads of fun things for kids of all ages and adults to do. I especially like how your ticket lasts all day and you can leave and come back. My favourite thing about this place though, was that they have accessible bathrooms which have changing stations for adults with disabilities to get changed on. This is the first time I have seen this and it's a fabulous idea, as a carer I have had to change adults on bathroom floors which isn't hygienic nor dignifying. We absolutely will be back here for a day out again and have recommended it to friends and family, coming to visit.

Very well organised, and enjoyable experience. Catered more for smaller children so my teens were a bit bored. The coffee lab is lovely and the cake is delicious! Gift shop downstairs is also great.

So many hands on activities, the kids (and I) thoroughly enjoyed our visit. A downside was my daughter forgetting her barbie doll. However, the staff at W5 searched and found it, and went so far as to post it back to us in Norway. Truly above and beyond. Great experience all around.

took our ten year old son to see the dinosaur exhibit, excellent!! the other floors where filled with exciting interactive things that even amused myself and the wife, but a huge shout out must go to the staff off the giftshop they went the extra mile to round off our sons trip to perfection, a credit to the W5 complex

We spent around 5 hours at W5 Discovery Centre with our 5-year-old and 1.5-year-old, and it was an amazing experience. The interactive exhibits kept the kids engaged, and even we, as parents, had a great time exploring the different sections. The science shows were fun and educational, making learning exciting for the little ones. The staff was friendly and helpful, always ready to explain and assist. However, there are a few things to keep in mind: - Book tickets in advance to avoid any hassle at the entrance. - Parking at the Odyssey Arena is very expensive, so be prepared for that extra cost. - Although W5 has five floors, two of them have no real attractions, just a viewing gallery or conference rooms, which feels like a bit of wasted space. - Toilets could use an upgrade – the doors open inward, so after washing your hands, you still have to touch the handle, which isn't very hygienic. The sink faucets are quite outdated, with no touchless features, which is a bit disappointing for a modern science centre. - The available Quiet Rooms are not really that quiet. They are not properly soundproofed, so while they are slightly calmer than the main areas, they are still quite noisy, with a lot of sound passing through. - To fully explore everything at a relaxed pace, more than one visit is needed. There’s so much to see and do that one trip simply isn’t enough, especially with young children who aren’t patient enough to go through every exhibit carefully. Two to three visits would be ideal to truly experience everything without rushing. Overall, despite these minor drawbacks, W5 is an excellent place for a family day out. The variety of activities, hands-on experiments, and climbing structures make it a fantastic experience for kids and adults alike. Highly recommend visiting, just plan ahead.

Attended last night for the Our Brewery x Sleepy Hollow Tasting Menu event and it was absolutely incredible. The food was gorgeous, service was brilliant and the staff were so lovely and knowledgeable about the food and drinks! The food was served on ceramics that had been hand-crafted by the chef which was a really nice and unique touch and the quality of everything was top notch. Can’t wait to come back!

Visiting from Manchester while working away, I had the pleasure of dining at the Sleepy Hollow – and what a gem it is! I started with the soup of the day, which had a lovely texture and just the right balance – not overpowering with celery as can sometimes be the case. For my main, I went with the special rib eye steak, cooked medium rare to perfection. It was tender, juicy, and beautifully complemented by the rich béarnaise sauce. Drinks-wise, I enjoyed a smooth latte with what I’d guess was a medium roast bean – full of flavour and a great finish. I also tried the Belfast Brew tea, which was delicious and had a really pleasant, distinct taste. The staff were warm, friendly, and made us feel genuinely welcome. High five to this establishment – I’ll definitely return if I’m in the area again!

Visited Sleepy Hollow recently and the meal was absolutely delicious. The food was fresh, full of flavour and presented beautifully on the plates. The restaurant was busy but the staff were friendly and attentive as always. This is our favourite "treat" place to eat and we look forward to our next visit. Thanks Sleepy Hollow, keep doing what you're doing! Ps: We had Goat's Cheese to start Turkey and steak as the mains Sticky Toffee Pudding and crumble for dessert ....

We drove down a narrow lane canopied by large trees swaying in the wind, and there we discovered Sleepy Hollow restaurant. Great ambience, wonderful cuisine, attentive service and excellent cocktails.

We were lucky to find this place in the middle of our Ireland trip, we weren’t expected they used very unique pretty plates, looks like the coastal rocks. Very nice. We had the “day night 75” The food is amazing with beautiful settings. The pork was the most tenders pork I ever had! Love it. 😋

You have to give Sleepy hollow a visit, food is to die for and the service was with a smile and super rapid. The setting was lovely too so go on....treat yourself or a loved one. Fantastic. ❤️❤️❤️

Visited 30.10.2025. Food was amazing and the Sirloin Steak was perfect cooked. Really relaxed dining environment and the service was excellent. Would give any top notch restaurant in belfast a run for their money. Couldnt fault it

This was our first visit to this theatre, and we were most impressed. The seating arrangement is excellent, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We have already booked tickets for another show, as it is well worth the trip.

Fantastic show tonight with the Elvis spectacular show. From start to finish we had an amazing time, Ciaran was the best we have ever seen, all staff were helpful and friendly. Thanks for a great time. Very well recommended.

Fantastic place. Watched phantom of the opera performed by the Belfast operatic. Great food at the yarn which has to be pre booked 24 hours in advance. Recommended to check website for all information. All set in idyllic surroundings.

Took a visitor to see a concert here. Beautiful building and theatre. Tiered seats means no-one in front hiding the stage from view. Superb line-up of top class local musicians. Visitor thoroughly enjoyed the show. It was a good evening out.

Was there on Saturday night to see The Bourne Identity tribute band to my favourite group ABBA they were absolutely brilliant and the staff at the theatre were friendly and helpful there was plenty of parking and a big plus there was lots of disability parking 🙂

This was my first visit and I was very impressed! Plenty of car parking spaces and not too far of a walk to the Theatre. Lovely Bar area and very efficient friendly Bar Staff. The seats were very comfortable and quite a large stage so everyone had a great view. I didn’t notice any obstructions anywhere in the Theatre. Very friendly staff from start to finish to guide you to your seat. Top marks to all, we had a great experience!

Had funeral teas for my mum here. Cakes, sandwiches and pastries were much better than I expected, got lots of comments from people about the quality of the food. They were very accommodating and well set up for us when we arrived, the prosecco flowed nicely and the girls there were lovely. Highly recommended, and appreciate the support on a good sendoff for my mum!

We booked for 4 kids to go to the inflata bounce for 1pm. Our friends were running slightly late so I was told that I would have to switch to a later session because of the safety video- we had to change coloured bands on my kids. The staff were rude and verbally forceful. Our friends arrived 2 mins later and we're shown straight into the 1pm safety video that hadn't started yet. Even though, I was told we would have to change session. We then had to get my 2 kids bands changed colour again. The staff didn't seem to know what they were doing, nor did they communicate with each other. It was very stressful for us parents and the kids didn't know what was happening or where they were supposed to go. The set up is awful. There isn't enough room. There needs to be a designated waiting area. Staff need to communicate more. Staff need to be retrained in how to speak to customers. For having so many staff on, it was very disorganised. The toilets were very unclean and clearly not checked on regularly. Once the kids were actually bouncing, they had a great time which is why I allocated 3 stars

Booked 2 games of laser tag here for 10 children and 4 adults and we had an absolutely brilliant time. Everyone said how much fun it was. The only gripe I had was that multiple times during both games some of the vests ran out of battery and then we had to go and ask the attendees to replace the vest which took a good 5 minutes out of a mere 20 minutes of actual game time.

Was good for 45 mins but not as big as it's rivals. Kids bored a bit after 45 mins. Really Noisy, incredibly loud , I love a rave back in day but this was bedlam. Arcades ok too on way out. Big issue trying to get out carpark, needs access rethinking as impossible to turn right onto main road, had do detour.

We booked inflata party for my son's birthday. He and his friends were really enjoyed all the fun. Staffs are very friendly and courteous. Party room is very nice.

Booked a kids party which the kids really enjoyed, the only aspect that was lacking was the safety video process, it was really busy and a few different parents stood outside the barrier, which in theory was only an extra 6 inches away, we had watched the video, but then said your gonna have to watch it again, because you weren't inside the box they have made. The box is not fit for purpose as it's way too small, as this proceeded another girl came down and told the girl of taking the video in front of customers (time and a Place) saying you should of made sure they where all in, all very unprofessional, aside from this, the kids had a great time.

The children all enjoyed the Laser Tag party. The food was very nice also. I just felt it was very rushed in the end with being told on two occasions that they needed us out so they could prepare for the next party. Possibly 45mins would be better for eating and having cake as young children cam take a while to eat no matter how much you try and rush them.

Took my children to the first session, 11am. The safety video was late in being started as they couldnt get it to work, staff said they would get 10mins extra at the end however they were still called off at 12pm. I said to member of staff who replied, well send them back on then, with what can only be described as an attitude. When they were finished, I took them to the toilet only to find there was no toilet roll or soap. Given this was the first session and the toilet roll had the capacity to hold 3 rolls, this really wasn't great.

Great spot for hiking. Best time to hike is to watch sunrise and sunset. Easy accessibility from Belfast City Centre. Good spot for a morning walk.

This is the best walk in Belfast, in my humble opinion. The parking is convenient, if a little small, but the walk is easy or challenging depending on your mood, there is the most beautiful view of the city from a Norman Fort from the 10th century. And there is a farm settlement from the 4th century. And a small waterfall. And if you can find them, there are some amazing caves.

It was pretty much fun climbing up the hill, stressful but it was an exercise to stretch the body and the legs. It was an adventure I will love doing again, the view up the cliff was amazing and everyone was helpful to each other if you lost the way climbing up or climbing down the hill.

Really nice walk with an abundance of mushrooms in autumn. And great views as you climb. Multiple trails for different abilities. Not very accessible for those who use mobility aids though. Lots of dogs off lead which worries me a little.

Fantastic hike up to the top of “the nose” to enjoy some of the best panoramic views of Belfast on a clear day. Hike itself was fairly easy along a maintained path and we saw a few runners and bikers out enjoying themselves as well.

A nice lovely place with history and also a great view of the whole Belfast. Amazing Belfast Castle. You can take great pictures. No parking fee or other entry fee. Take your family with you or go for a walk. Very friendly staff members.

I wish I could post pictures of the inside, but it was not open today on my visit. Also, its not much of a castle as most would think of them, its really just a large house on a hill. We were both pretty disappointed in it and didnt spend much time here. The gardens are beautiful, though.

Belfast Castle is a beautiful historic site with breathtaking views over the city and Belfast Lough. 🏰🌿 The castle itself is stunning, with lovely gardens and walking trails all around, making it a perfect place for a peaceful day out. The interior is elegant, and the little café adds a nice touch for a break. It’s well-kept, full of charm, and ideal for photos, relaxing, or just enjoying the scenery. A must-visit when in Belfast! 🌟

Was here today as a coach driver with a group of elderly people. They & I enjoyed the visit very much, been here before, mostly with cruise ships, but today was the first time I had the pleasure to have lunch here, I can only highly recommend the food, absolutely amazing, very tasty, good quality and high quality! Well priced for a decent price! The service was also excellent, very friendly and attentive staff. Again, it’s highly recommended here, definitely deserved the 5 stars!

Such magical place. Enjoy the steep uphill walk to the castle to be rewarded by the lovely view and drinks or food at the cafe.. beautiful gardens with different routes lengths and difficulty.. Plenty of car parks. Could be very busy though on holidays and weekends.

A great old restored castle in a beautiful setting. It was built in the the 1860s and today it is an event centre. The surrounding grounds are stunning. The restaurant is a great place to stop for a bite to eat or enjoy one of their delicious meals.

Belfast Castle was a beautiful place to visit. Its high up and you can see the whole Belfast city and bay from the nice garden. It's not big, and unfortunately the restaurant, cafee, and interior was closed due to renovation. But its such a nice and peaceful atmosphere if you need a break from the busy city centre.

Usual spot a few years ago then moved away and haven’t went back. I was in the area thought I would go for a meal for old time sake picked the sea bass for the main, thing came out looking like a deconstructed fish finger, the prawns where thicker than the fillet of sea bass and the thing cost £23. I then asked for the dessert menu and the waitress threw it on the table while walking past without acknowledging us and walked past at that point I had to ask for the bill, place has went down hill in the last few years was an A+ now a D-

Great location. Good selection of food. I went for a burger which was juicy and flavourful. Chips were crispy. Desert was perfect. Overall excellent restaurant. Plenty of parking & toilets. Staff very friendly

Lovely place seen on social media and rarely they live up to a description. But it did, very friendly staff, we arrived just before lunch but they allowed us to order early from that menu. Food was excellent and I doubt you’d go home hungry from it. Well priced too. Well done

Bank Holiday. Place was super busy but squeezed us in. Food was faultless (even under so much pressure.. Tasty, fresh ingredients. Have to mention the scallop started, IT WAS OUTSTANDING..Still craving the creamy sauce...Staff always a delight 😊

My partner and I called into Knags on Fri as it had been a while. I must say we loved everything about our visit. The staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. The food was simply beautiful. We had starters and mains but had to skip dessert as we were stuffed. We will definitely be back soon

Ordered chicken & ribs combo.. half rack of BBQ ribs set on top of skinny fries. 2 large chicken gougons with onion rings and coleslaw. Was looking forward to this but very disappointed with what I received, the Ribs were the only thing I enjoyed but still had to ask for extra portion of the sauce as there was very little. The onion rings were overcooked, the batter was extremely hard. The same can be said for the chicken gougons. The batter was extremely thick and hard it was difficult to cut . The chicken was tough and all you could taste was the oil they were cooked in. I had one bite of the 1st one and left it , tried the second and it was even worse. It was As if they had been reheated in the fryer again.As for the coleslaw you could tell it had been sitting out for a while as it had turned yellow. We would normally have desert but given the standard of my main course that someone in your kitchen deemed acceptable, we politely declined. I was asked if everything was okay but rather than cause embarrassment to your waiting staff who did notice by the amount of food left on my plate something wasn't right, I requested the bill and paid and left without a fuss. I didn't believe it would be right to complain during a busy period on a Saturday evening and cause unnecessary embarrassment to your waiting staff who are very accommodating. However the food was poor and on that basis I cannot recommend a visit.

Server who sat us not very friendly. The food was disappointing when it first came out it looked lovely however it was tasteless. My friend and I got the honey garlic chicken there was no where near enough sauce it just tasted like chicken goujons on a bed of vegetables. We got 1/2 and 1/2 chips and rice which is a surcharge of £1.50 which I think is ridiculous for the amount of chips you get (maybe 12 max). The cocktails were okay but tasted premade. Overall it seemed to have potential but just fell short and the prices are ridiculous £20 for chicken goujons and chips.

Nice but hard walk from the car park. Could do with a bigger car park though. Very popular spot with great views at the end.

Beautiful scenery both from below (especially at morning during sunrise) and from above. Don't reccomend using google maps if you go from east side, as there is a land of bushes you will have to go through, climb fences and get through couple of dead ends, especially if you are climbing up. First time I've even skipped the pathway up, google were showing me to climb over the concrete wall and go up the path that were visibly rarely used, then climb the spiked fence to the field of cows and afterwards go through dead-end of trees and bushes I got through somehow only to later ram my way through narrow path full of bushes taller than human. Some of theese bushes has thorns and the path is slippery and narrow even most avid hikers and mountaineers, so be ready if you will get there by google accident. I reccomend you go through the right side of the zoo, that google just won't direct you through if you go throughout the east side. But overall, I went up, and left satisfied as a mountaineer and photographer. And keep in mind that right below the cliff from the east side there are a small cave that can be easily missed if you choose the same questionable path I've mentioned at the start. Northern Ireland may be small in size, but people here are nice and friendly and the land itself are full of rare gems you can see only in few places in the world, for example, Giant's Causeway I highly recommend everyone who reads that to visit, and see this rare wonder just about an hour north from the Cavehill by car. (Adding few fast unedited photos from the phone, pro photos will come up later separately).

I really enjoyed this walk. The walk raises about 400 meters but the pathway is very well laid out which made the walk easy and when you reach the top the view makes the walk worth while, it is stunning even on a cloudy day.

A nice place to spend your day. If you have time you have many things to see. You can see a beautiful scenery of whole Belfast city from the peak of the mountain. Very cold and sometimes wind is high. You can get to the peak withing 30 to 45 minutes. There is path to go down from the peak to the lower valley. You can take the bus from the Belfast city and its about 5miles away from the city. If you are going on your own vehicle there are different entrances. This is a place you should definitely visit if you are coming to Belfast.

The cave hill is the only and nearest option for hiking in Belfast. The hike starts from Belfast castle which also is a great place to visit. You can past your cars or bikes here before starting the hike. It passes through dense patch at the beginning and then the hike starts. Meanwhile, you start getting the view of the sea on the right side. There is a cave mid way divides the hike into two ways leading I to the top moist patch called Napoleon's Nose. The left side route directly takes you to the top making it a bit of steep climbing. The other way around is a circular path making a hike a bit simpler but you get nice views along. After reaching the top you can get a complete view of Belfast. During descending, you can either come along same route or there is other way around exactly opposite to the main round. Descending from other way around goes to the upper cave hill road. Either way descending leads to the Belfast castle taking different time.

Cavehill is a small but steep enough hill but once reached has some beautiful scenery .A must do if in Belfast it has some small and longer walks and you won't be disappointed if reach the tops with a view over all of Belfast and Belfast lough.

Easily access to the walks. A little steep at first and can very very slippy and waterlogged in poor weather. Usually decent views over Belfast but not last time I went. Very wet.

We live locally and have been here from time to time. Positives - I like the open space. Level and great for kids to scooter, bike and roller blade while grownups relax with a coffee and chat. The statues dotted around are fun to find and explore. Negatives - it was really dirty and had rubbish everywhere: in the grass bits behind the benches, all over the paved bits (even found a big shard of glass), and along the paths. It did not make me want to bring my kids and dog to the area! Not to mention it smelled like 💩 which must be a local sewage issue. I will give it another try some time soon with the hope that the council will up their game in making it a tidier place and I’d gladly change my review.

A must-visit destination for Narnia enthusiasts, this place is dedicated to the birthplace of the beloved fantasy world. While it features statues of iconic characters, the rest of the premises is quite limited. However, it does make for a pleasant walking trail. Just be cautious of pickpockets, so keep your valuables close.

Adorable quiet park area with great bronze statues paying tribute to characters in ‘The Chronicles of Narnia’. I had fun scouting around and finding all of them! Love the many varied works of CS Lewis and felt honored to have visited this place that honors him.

Nice walk about at CS Lewis square. The sculptures looks amazing and i think there can be a lot more to have the square seem alive and fascinating. But overall, it is a great experience to be here.

A lovely homage to CS Lewis. Really close to the Titanic quarter of Belfast in Newtonards and the City airport. Had a nice eclectic feel to it, there was a fun run passing through and kids using skateboards on the paved areas. The 'Narnia' sculptures are great and full of detail We were staying nearby in an AirBnB and it was nice to have a stroll around.

What a great little park! It was clean, well maintained, and felt very safe. As a lover of the LW&W book series I was thrilled to see spark dedicated to it and CS Lewis. It took us a few minutes to find CS and the wardrobe, since it is set apart from the other statues. For those interested, it is in front of the cute little library there. The rest of them are more in the park proper. There is also a Nero Cafe right there as well, which is great!

Highly recommend checking this place out, especially if you are a fan of The Chronicles of Narnia! There were no other people here when I went; I was able to look at everything without feeling crowded by other people around. The whole area is maintained very well and it is easy to get around and see everything. It's definitely a hidden gem that is well worth visiting.

The Knockagh Monument offers stunning panoramic views over Belfast Lough and the surrounding countryside. It's a peaceful spot, perfect for a quiet walk or some reflection. While there's not much to do, sometimes all we need is to slow down and enjoy the moment. The monument itself is impressive and stands as a touching tribute to those who served. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area and appreciate scenic viewpoints and history.

Incredible views from the Knockagh Monument over Carrickfergus, Belfast and the Estuary. The memorial is dedicated to the fallen from the County of Antrim who fell in the Great War and also in remembrance to those who died in WW2.

Spectacular scenery throughout the approach and at the monument. Its an historic memorial with bird eye view to Carrickfergus, Greenisland, Trooperslane & Jordanstown. Plan a visit on bright sunny day, but remember that its always so windy there, so come prepared. No food or cafe there, just a view point.

There is no doubt this is a must visit on a day with good weather....views to Scotland and the Mourne Mountains are possible. There is parking available and it's worth grabbing a take away coffee on your way there so you can relax and take in the panoramic view.

Very relaxed cafe full of chat. Staff are so friendly and quick to fill your orders. The selection of gluten free options are always amazing and part of what keeps me going back.

The best service I've ever had with an online plant order. I ordered these late Sun night and they arrived from Ireland to Scotland by the Thu morning. I can't get a plant delivery from mainland UK that quick, and it costs me more. My plants are all healthy, and they were very well packaged. I even got a care guide and a wee surprise included. I highly recommend and will definitely buy from them again.

Brilliant place for bigger kids, however I brought my 1 year old and the issue that I had was the cleanliness of the under 3 area.. I understand things get dirty especially with small kids but the dust bunnies were on another level. I think this area is neglected by cleaning staff.. I would give 5 stars all day long if it was a bit cleaner.. staff seem very friendly and reasonably priced.

We where in belfast for our child's 5th birthday she wanted to go bowling when we arrived we walked into the wrong building we where told the bowling was closed down so we payed into the soft play instead our kids had great fun a few problems there was something wet either wee or juice second problem was our child picked up a metal zip in the baby area tie almost cutting her self. And last problem all the zip ties have the hard plastic bit facing into the soft play my baby fell into me knocking me back resulting in me having a cut and burise on my head. When we left we seen the "closed down" bowling open so we where also lied to

We had a fantastic time at Funworks. Every thing was very clean and my little girl loved it so much that I had to pay for another hour to play. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the toilets was clean and tidy. We will definitely be back again.

We booked the hen party gin tasting experience for a group of girls in June. Unfortunately, the address on the website and Google are different, so we ended up in the wrong place. We eventually made our way to the correct location (after spending £90 on taxis that we didn’t need to). The experience itself was good. We made a bottle of gin for the bride and all signed the label, but unfortunately we never received this bottle. It was meant to be sent to the bride but she or I never received it. We did receive a few bottles as a goodwill gesture for the address mix up, which was nice of the owner.

GIN SCHOOL A ‘STAR ‘ Fabulous experience ! Took my Auntie for her 70th birthday she got to make her own bottle of Gin using botanicals creating her own birthday recipe, (which the school can recreate for you if you love it ) The hosts Rob and Jo were amazing; full of fun facts and great craic as well as making fab cocktails and serving up great gins. Really good value for money for a bespoke special event. Highly recommend and I would certainly go again.

This was so much fun!! Jo is the best of craic and kept us informed while making us laugh. You learn about gin and distilling, a bit about the history of gin while also being furnished with fantastic drinks. Jo and Robert made it an experience to remember.

Got dad a shared experience for father's day and him and mum thought it was absolutely fantastic, very informative evening, lots of gin tasting and their own bottle of gin made with their own unique blend of botanicals to bring home, highly recommended for any gin lovers.

It is a great place to stop by on your way to the shore and the park nearby. The museum only opened in 2012, the admission is free. I highly recommend it as part of your weekend go-out in Belfast. I will be visiting again.

Really good conferencing suite for 10 to 14 people. Great history, dropped a star as there is only a single toilet and car parking is limited.

Fascinating history of King William 3rd and building still standing

This is a wee gem of a place. The information about the Mill is interesting and there are frequently changing exhibitions in the adjacent gallery. Tea, coffee and food is available from Yarns Bistro in the same building. Parking is free with spaces normally available. The landscaped square is pleasant and sheltered, so good to sit and while away a few minutes when the weather is dry.

The Mill is a beautiful example of what can be done with our Industrial heritage. Great theatre,restaurant and museum.

Great place for a relaxing stroll or to take the dog. It's hard to believe your in the middle of Monkstown as it is so peaceful. If you follow the path it then takes you into Glen Park also which has a beautiful viaduct. Perfect for prams.

I entered this wood on a Sunday afternoon from the Monkstown area but found it to be creepy, empty of people, unloved and very uninviting. I didn't find any of the nice areas pictured but maybe I didn't walk far enough through. Not the kind of place for families or females on their own. Suitable for dog walks if you're happy enough to walk through the wood.

A little gem hidden in the middle of suburban sprawl. You can get right down to Jordanstown and the shore. From there on round to Hazelbank and from there the whole way to Groomsport via the costal path, passing through Belfast, Holywood and Bangor.

Two courses of up to 18 holes each. Took the 36 hole course. Was good fun and the kids enjoyed it. Came on a day that wasn’t so busy so took our time and had a great couple of hours. The courses are clean, fun and quirky. Some little caddies/trolleys available for your stuff. It’s in a small shopping centre in a retail park. There’s a throwing axe course in the same centre I have my eyes on. There’s place serves drinks and some bar food too but didn’t have time in the day to sample. Worth a visit if you’re in Belfast with kids (or with friends).

Played here on our visit you Belfast, it was ok, we played the hardest course out of the 2, it was still very easy with a couple of hardish holes, visually is very nice, but far too easy, also no alcohol is allowed whilst playing and the toilets if you need are outside the venue which feels a bit odd, decent space filler if you have some time but if you looking for adventure maybe try a different mini golf venue.

Visited with my husband & family as a treat after a long car journey in the rain, so we were looking forward to a fun session, but were all left disappointed. The room was OK, if rather dated, but still we entered looking forward to the course. The special effects entertained our 7 year old, but the spiders were the only original element I saw and lots of the static animals had seen better days. The actual golf holes were VERY dull, easy & unimaginative. There were virtually no exciting elements involved in the putting and each one was the same. We joked with the employee who welcomed us that they had a copycat company in Newcastle, but it turned out that the other place was just a far superior experience :-/ From reading a few other reviews, it seems like our positive was that the site was quiet and we didn't have to queue (5.30pm on a Monday in the holidays)

Me and my partner went to this place and was greeted with a unwelcoming start. The young girl couldn't give a smile and was very blunt. However we really enjoyed the two courses but at the end I got a hole in one on the last hole meaning you get a coin for a free game. "Buzzer didn't go off" was what the girl said when I went up to receive the coin. Do they do this often with hope people just go on? With going back and forth with the girl she eventually gave me the coin to me. Shame, it's a great course but obviously a fault and also dreadful staff.

Staff super friendly, the atmosphere and golf courses here are fun and very creative with the decorations, but the only things that ruins it here is, it’s over crowded, packed. For each level, there was about 10min wait cause of the big queue which just drags and kills the excitement.. we end up leaving way earlier as we got super bored .. there should definitely be rules on how to play mini golf such as up to 7 shots each person on each level, and if they hit more than 7 the have to give up and write down 7 on their sheet. also making a 2min timer for each player on each round would be good.

Staff very rude my child wanted a bag of aero mint bubbles I was paying by card my daughter is autistic and the lady still wanted us to go to back of que which meant we missed the rest of our movie que was very long to the doors surely staff could of been more understanding. And the sweet popcorn was tasteless. 1 good point is Comfortable seats though.

Wanted to purchase a family ticket, for a gift, and a straight forward experience, just go in and ask for a family ticket, as a gift. £31, for 2 adults and 2 children. Unfortunately I got 2 by mistake, and had to get one refunded, of which again was a straight forward experience. The staff are really friendly, and patient. A family orientated place.

“Very disappointing experience. I went to watch the Minecraft movie and it was honestly the worst cinema visit I’ve had. It was on 12th of April, The staff were unfriendly and didn’t seem interested in helping or maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. On top of that, the place was full of unsupervised teenagers running wild, shouting, and nearly destroying the place. It felt completely out of control. Theatres are great, always clean, and the seats are comfy. Prices for drinks/popcorn/sweets are an absolute disgrace. You need to catch yourselves on and stop being so greedy. Maybe if it was cheaper more people would buy from you and not bring their own in, not rocket science :(

Went to see the new Sinners movie and haven't enjoyed a movie in so long, Brilliant indeed.

Great cinema, nice and very comfortable reclining seats in the VIP areas. Really worth trying out. Online booking for popular showing is recommended. It also saves queueing as you can print you tickets off at the self service booths.

We had JJ s 4th Birthday party there on Saturday. Private large room with bouncy castle included and some scooters, cars, games also. Table, chairs all set up in advance for kids. Hot water boiler provided for teas/coffee plus link to play your own music on mobile. Extra chairs for the parents also. We brought all our own party food and plates, cups etc. Staff come in and clean up all after your 2 hour booking slot. Building very clean and parking area at leisure centre. Definitely recommend for party or events. Thank you to all the staff on duty lovely bunch. We l be back. Marie, Suzanne and JJ

Could not believe this place existed. And BUJ was there making the best music.

If you are looking for a gym in Belfast, I wouldn’t even bother trying this one, the staff are rude and cheeky, they practically don’t give a toss about their job, I bet a bunch of gluesniffers could do better and also be nicer, you can be denied entrance for the most stupid reasons, the gym is underwhelming where there is barely any machines and on a crowded day the only thing you can do is stand there, the changing rooms are pretty much a sewer where the toilets are clogged with both urine and fecal matter and the showers are broken most of the time, the only decent part about this god-forsaken place is the spa area, the steam room is so small that it can only fit up to 6 people and the sauna isn’t even that hot and is also very small. Overall you might as well work out at home because this place is repulsive.

Staff are fantastic and the variety of sweets is great. We did both the candy and chocolate experiences and had a brilliant time. Would definitely recommend as a family trip if you have a sweet tooth.

Absolutely brilliant, exceeded my expections for my grandaughters 7th birthday. All the surprise added extras, chocolate marshmallows, badge making, activity sheets made it the best experience for everyone always something to do. Shout out to the staff who were fantastic and made karleys day so special she is already planning to go back for her party next year, i cant thank you enough. Amazing!

Great experience for kids and adults alike. I brought my two sons to a sweet treat making experience. Claire, Kris and Jazzy Jade made the experience fun for the kids and very welcoming for us all. We will definitely be back.

If you’ve got a sweet tooth, then you need to plan a trip to Aunt Sandra’s Candy Factory east of the city. Operating in the city since 1953, you can discover lots of traditional handmade sweets and even get a chance to make your own at this old-fashioned sweet shop. Candy Shows run every Saturday and Sunday 12 noon and a chocolate workshop runs every Saturday at 2pm. Shows book up fast so pre-book your tickets on their website.

We attended the chocolate workshop that they run on a Saturday with two almost 5 year olds. I wondered if they were too young to engage but they absolutely loved it and chocolate eCLARE was very good with the kids and a great host, think our wee Frankie had a crush. Good clean fun or messy 😁 fun. Not what I expected but really enjoyed it.

We have purchased a 1kg mix bag. It was a bit light, so I checked at home, and it was just 887g. My son was very disappointed I'm not planning to go back. We were thinking about organising a birthday party there now it won't happen as I'm afraid to be ripped off. You have been worn. Update - There are two size bags on display, 500g for £7.5 and 1000g for £12.5.

What a gem of a place!!!! So sad I never knew about it before! When we first walked in we were greated by amazing people. Everyone had a smile and some craic out of them. Then the kids were asked if they wanted to see the honeycomb being made. Well that was just awesome! Honestly I couldn't recommend this place enough. AND THE FUDGE IS Amazing... 😁

Great, local community play park with equipment all inspired by aviation and exploration. My youngest lad absolutely loves going here. There are also picnic benches and toilet facilities, so this is a great place to explore.

This place is safe enough for you to go there alone and there is toilets near the play park and there is a few amazing restaurants and some amazing cafes and an amazing shop and an amazing bar near the park and there is bus stops near the park and there is two parking lots in the park and parking is always easy to Find

What a great park! Amazing plane shaped climbing frame, bike style roundabout, swing and roundabout for wheelchair users, obstacle course type routes, snakes and ladders painted on the ground, great condition. Would say for ages 4 and over. Will definitely be back, hopefully on a dry day unlike the day we went!

Unreal craic this course, well kept, good club house with fully stocked pro shop (beers etc). Also if you are lucky enough to be there when Lucas is working, I promise you, you will not find a better day out in Newtownabbey. The lad is an absolute stud, helped us out setting up, brought us waters and food and kept our belongings away safe during the round. LUCAS YOU ARE THE PEOPLE’S CHAMP!

Good place to go for a bite of lunch. Lots of options but my favourite is the beef stew. Yarns cafe is spacious with comfy seating and good views. Lynette served us and was so friendly and helpful.

Attended the garden plant show which was very well organised. Plenty of free parking and a visitors centre with spotless clean toilets. Within the grounds are beautiful grounds for walking.

Well received by staff at Mossley Mill - just a quick drop in to collect some Planning information and the welcome and assistance was very professional. The building is smart and bright, and it was good to see the successful mix of old and new. Parking is excellent and very convenient to the front door.

This was my second visit to the mill,and this time I brought my sister and brother in law as well as a friend. A perfect afternoon to see the grounds, chimney, fishery,memorial garden and woodland walk

I only sent about 20 minutes at the museum. You can view the digital film archive which was interesting to see. They had some art in the gallery from one artist with paintings for sale. In the museum you can see the history of the mill and a large weaving machine used. There is a bistro in site and menu looks good and not too expensive.

I have found Go Lift Fitness to be the perfect kick start to my health and fitness journey. In particular the coaches Mel and Mandy have been very supportive and encouraging during this 6 wk programme. I have managed to lose a few inches from my belly which was my goal and to become stronger and healthier which I've achieved. I no longer snack late into the evenings which was the mindset shift I really needed to overcome and I can't quite believe that I've managed to beat that habit. I knew that if I upped my activity and stuck as closely as possible to the recipes and diet plan mapped out for me that I'd see results. My end goal was to get back into summer dresses and clothes that no longer fitted me and I'm very pleased to say that I'm well on my way to achieving that. Go lift Fitness is like one big family. Very hilly (surprise surprise), most paths are grassy, but shoes with good traction is recommended. Wonderful views of north Belfast and Belfast Lough. Very peaceful and quiet, I was the only person there. Id say this place gets 1/10th or less the visitors of cave hill.

Great place to go for a walk amazing views of Belfast and Carrick from the front and further over there is views of the mornes and slemish.

A hidden gem. I grew up a couple of miles from here and this was my first visit. A rare piece of Ancient Woodland, owned by the Council and managed by the Woodland Trust.

Not very long route that is around 3km in total. There are car parkings nearby both entrances to the park. You definitely will found the view as very attractive and beautiful. However couple of moments to consider for those who will go: 1. It is better to start your route from car parking before gas station - it will be more logical and correct 2. Exit from the route which is marked as one through residential area was closed, so I have to go over the fence in 1 place🤷 3. Be carefull on the exit slope, it was sleek after rains and with steep slope in a couple places you may start sliding 4. Slopes are steep enough in majority places - so be ready for some work by your legs😃

Ordered from Just eat for a late night dessert with my other half. The nachos were not great not even the sauces. Went for a Ferero cheesecake - absolutely disgusting. My partner had the Resse's "luxury" milkshake - there is nothing luxurious about it. Would not recommend.

Good delivery service - one of the best vegetarian pizzas, children's chicken meal and milkshakes was perfect with no grease. 👍

It's a bit grubby just now, due to the weather, but this is a great park alongside the Sixmile river. There is a new contactless duck feed machine where you can buy a handful of seed to feed the water birds. Great for dog walkers.

Sixmile water park is safe enough for you to go there alone and Sixmile water park have very very very beautiful scenery and wildlife including ducks and geese and swans and the weather is amazing and Sixmile water park is a great place for running walking cycling and Sixmile water park have so much space and exercise equipment and there is new duck feed contantless machine where you can buy a handful of seed to feed the water birds and Sixmile water park have easy access and parking is always easy to find

Lovely flat park, well kept and family friendly. Great Play park within it too. Ducks, swans, birds...lots to see too

Lovely park with a good walk along the river and a duck pond as well. Lots of dog walkers and some dogs off lead.

Lovely place to walk and watch the birds in the pond or in the river at any time of tge year.

Good surfaces to walk round, very popular with dog walkers. Enclosed play park. Duck pond murky looking but has a lot of bird life.
