Its a really nice place, it was colder than the usual places in SP. The security was also really nice to let us take a photo with him.

Nice place to visit. Destination for a lot of tour buses, so it was pretty busy when we were there. Lots of shops selling the usual tourist fare. The water was pretty and interesting. We did not find any actual trails to hike, which would have been nice and would have gotten us away from the crowds. There is parking but it was pretty full when we were there.

The short ride in electrical train from the station to the portal is not worth. The long ride is nice, but you need to book in advance.

Visited the park in mid-late August on a weekday morning and it was almost just us walking on the gorgeous trails. Well preserved, relaxing place to walk in nature. I can’t see how it would be enjoyable if it were full of people. So best to plan accordingly!
