Shopping mall with several floors. Many shops, restaurants, cinema. There is a parking in the underground part of the building. A modern shopping and entertainment center with a very interesting exterior and interior. Excellent location. All standard stores of famous brands are located in the center

Mall Plovdiv has lots of great shops, plenty of the well known brands plus a couple of uniquely Bulgarian brands of which I made a couple of purchases. Coming from Ireland it seems unusual that in some stores the staff literally follow you around the store but you get used to it after a while. Plenty of fast food choices on the top floor as well as a multiscreen cinema.

Nice Mall. Has a few shops over 2 floors and a food court and cinema on the 3rd. Air conditioning was good as we visited here on a hot day of July.

Mall Plovdiv is a modern shopping and entertaining center within walking distance of the Old Town in Plovdiv. It has all the small contemporary shops and more than half of them are unique for the city and in the region. On offer a large variety of international and national brands. The food court offers the usual mix of well known fast food restaurants, but there is also a restaurant and a book shop with a café, both of them have terraces with panoramic views. It does have a modern and cheap multiplex cinema. The movies are in the original format, and in 3D or 4DX. Paid parking is available underground and on ground level with easy access. You can use free WI-FI, ATM, WC, baby changing rooms and a Reception desk for information.

It is a preferred shopping mall where I can find clothing and technology opportunities. The dining area is clean and there is a wide variety of food.

Nice clean mall, free indoor parking for one hour, then just 2 lev per hour. Not a huge mall but two levels. Good coffee at the central coffee shop. Good restrooms. Have fun!

Nice mall, massage chairs, shops, but a lot of the staff is not meant to work with people. Angry reactions when you walk into a shop while the staff is on the phone. The foodcourt had two cafe stands, one is very busy the other one has a grumpy girl working there, beeing rude when she thought i would make her work, but i walked away when i noticed her attitude. There is a big Texas Chicken Sign on the outside of the mall, but inside at the spot where its meant to be is just a small disappointing "Chicken Guy" stall. The Billa cashier Lady was lovely.

It's one of my favourite shops in Bulgaria. The material of the clothes is amazing. Super good deals frequently. This is the dress I bought for my daughter 😍

An ok shopping mall but the staff in the shops not accommodating or friendly. Seems like they don't want you in there unless you buy and they have no patience if you change your mind. Definitely a different shopping experience than home in Ireland.

I think this will be an interesting shopping place to visit. We checked it in at the beginning of the day and most of the shops we're still closed. You will find here a lot of local produce of cloths, shoes, even leather. Next time.i am in Plovdiv, I will definitely do part of my shopping here. Remember the parking will be difficult as this is in the heart of the city and is within the paid blue or green zone.

Great place for shopping. There is also all kind of food toilets and a casion even a shop for second hand clothes selling by the kilo. There is disabled access elevator and escalato and stairs a security guard and cameras.

Nice shopping center. Being told it’s the largest in Plovdiv. It was a total of 3 floors for shopper. One side of the third floor has the food court, with about 10 different eating options. It’s was a good respite from the souring heat in the month of July 2023, where we were seeing approx 37 degree centigrade temperatures. Recommended…!

Great mall, everything you might need you will most definitely find there. The space of the mall itself is structured really good. Variety of stores, rich food court and my personal favourite, huge covered parking which is free. There’s always something new happening, a new space or a new store opening which is great considering that even now there’s literally everything. From various brand stores such as Zara, H&M, Cropp to Desizo Monni, Massimo, Teodor and many more to IKEA, few beauty saloons and pharmacies. The only thing that’s missing currently is a cinema but I am sure this will happen at some point.

What kind of a place is this, what kind of staff is this? There is a man who is two meters tall and he never greets customers, and there is a woman with him and these two people working in this place, I have no words to say. I will never recommend it to my friend or go there myself again. The staff is super bad. I tried to buy a few items and the man turned his face away. He is rude. I pay twice the salary you receive to the 8 workers who work for me every month.

Plovdiv has now access to more mainstream retail brands thanks to this mall. Could do with better coffee and desert options, maybe a more premium brand than Starbucks. It is a dynamic mall with plenty of annual changes, might get better with time.

Place is quiet big with a lot to do under one roof. Shopping , kids entartaiment or just a meal with famous brands, all is here. Worth it to be visit it and enjoy youself.

mall is fine, big enough and there are stores of known brands. parking system is terrible, I couldn’t find my registiration number and I saw that many other people had issues with finding their number.

Excellent atmosphere, I really liked the tractor/sewing machine decoration. The food was good, we got exactly what was expected, the plating was excellent. The only minor complaint was a very hot chili pepper in the traditional meat roll. I understand it should be there as a side but the baking of the pepper made the grilled potato very spicy. Our waitress remedied this superbly. I did not appreciate the sexist comment from the male waiter, but will leave the points for the waitress excellent service

Food was tasty and nicely plated. Interior is very nice. The food was served fast. Even though they state there are a lot of vegan options in reality — not that many. My friend was struggling to find smth for herself. Weird that you can’t just replace side dish. We had one person lactose intolerant and we could only remove mashed potatoes and order baked separately. Fig salad was delicious!

We love the city but we have never tried this amazing restaurant! We are happy about our choice: the food was very delicious, the mix of tastes and the original menu are a big plus. The service was impeccable and it was very cozy and pleasant. Highly recommend it! :)

Nice venue, the staff is very polite, professional and helpful. We went for dinner on a Friday night with our young baby without a reservation and we were very pleased with the service. The food is very good, traditional food with a modern twist. The waiter who served us suggested to us what to eat and what drink to have with it. We will come back next time in the city.

We had 4 people who had a wonderful experience, all served by Dean who was very attentive and welcoming. He was the most impressive server I’ve had so far in all restaurants and I’ve been around the world. Please give him a raise. The food was absolutely delicious. I hate mushrooms and the mushroom pasta was so good! Honestly I would come back every day if I could. Very cute and eclectic atmosphere as well.

I love the food and the service at this place. Really 5 star. Bulgaria is always a hit and miss with customer service but the staff at Happy always delivers at 100%. The menu is also always updated for every season so we never get bored. Good job. Definitely will be back again.

I love the new place, definitely better than the old one, it’s bigger and the interior is more stylish. We went on Saturday night and there were a lot of people so the service was a little bit slower than usual. I’ve noticed that the portions are getting smaller every year. I ate the turkey steak with grilled vegetables and most of the vegetables were mainly mushrooms and only one peace of paprika and one peace of eggplant, and the sauce was more than necessary but overall it was tasty.

Happy is always a really good bet for a nice experience and decent food. This particular restaurant has lots of space and a nice outside area with trees. The service was helpful and friendly. We really like the sushi but there is always way too much cream cheese.

An absolutely trashy place, ZERO stars for food, service and overall atmosphere. First thing first : the place wasn't clean, there was a napkin and used utensils under the table. We were a party of a few. I ordered for drinks 2 bottles of beer and one of them was WARM! I mentioned it to the server and he responded "I got them from the same cooler" Really? Didn't sugest to exchange the warm beer for a cold one. I had a Pepperoni Quessdilla. It was spicy hot, way too hot. You couldn't taste any flavor, no cheddar, no mozzarella, no cream cheese, no flat bread, but hot. Hot but not like a spicy tortilla. Hot in a flavorless and a very cheap way. We got fish and chips as well, which was an average at best. French fries: horrible. And so on and so far... At some point someone from the staff stopped by our table to ask how is the food. I said awful and she started to giggle like I said best joke she had for the day. A bit later another staff member behaving like a bouncer stopped by and stated "I was told you don't like the food"...with lots of attitude. It is a shame the monument is not lit at night. Good or bad, the history is a history and we should not forget it, but learn from it. As for the monument - it is a monumental piece of socialist era artwork. The park is very beautiful and peaceful, and worth the time spent there.

Very easy climb with great views throughout the journey,and of coure, the immaculate panoramic view from the peak. The monument is very emblematic and the surrounding trees and plants really elevate the area. Highly recommend taking this small hike in the center of Plovdiv.

Very nice Monument and park.You can see the monument from city center but i advice you to climb and to see the monument and the view of the oldest European city Plovdiv.The meaning of the monument maybe not rhat much good but still its part of the city and i believe it shoul be kept.

Though I am not fan of Red Army, I have to say this is a great spot to have spectacular views of beautiful Plovdiv. I visited it on an evening of March 2025.

If you are a wine lover or if you want to discover the diversity of Bulgarian wines, you need absolutely go to this place :) The selection are do carefully with a lot of beautiful wines and some amazing bottles of local variety: Mavrud, Melnik 55, Rubin :) Wine by glass is possible too ! It stays almost hidden in a small, steep street but at the same time positioned in the very center of Plovdiv. Has outdoor seating even in the winter.

Wonderful place. Nice to combine a relaxing evening sipping regional varieties with an education. Staff are very evangelical about what they serve. Laid back atmosphere, prices decent and layout to suit everyone ...even the single people who might prefer to watch the action propped at a bar. Just off the beaten paths of the main tourist trails so never too crowded.

After we had lunch we wanted something sweet and to hide from sun near central square and this was perfect location and place. Very good selection of ice creams and sweets. Place is very nicely decorated and air conditioned so we had nice break before resuming our exploration of the city.

Wow, I was happily 😊 surprised by the great cappuccino! After reading a couple bad reviews, weren't sure about going in, but wound up loving this place! I even got a second coffee. I had the Freddo cappuccino, and my friend had the double ice cream espresso. The ambiance was comfortable and upbeat with indoor and outdoor seating. We didn't try any of the cakes, but they looked great. Highly recommend.

Have been there many times! Brownie with Belgium chocolate is my favourite cake and you won’t regret if you try it. Coffee is very good, ice cream as well. It’s self service. Edit: Hot chocolate is thick and very tasty , also recently tried Cheesecake with Belgium chocolate that is good.

The place is located in the centre of Plovdiv, therefore it is a bit more expensive. It has a calmer atmosphere, than other places and over all it is a nice location for a coffee and cake.

I have previously read reviews of this place, and I wasn't super impressed. Today, I decided to give this place a try with low expectations, but ended up having an amazing time! The food tasted great, and the margarita was bigger and better than imagined! The service is top notch, everyone is super nice! The tequila shots are just 2.80 BGN, that's almost what I would pay for the whole bottle anyway 👌🙂 Perfect 5/5. I have absolutely nothing to complain about!

This is a very good Mexican restaurant with amazing environment decorated in Mexican style . When you enter the restaurant you notice the Mexican smell of good food radiating in the air . From the first moment you enter you want to have a drink ,relax , and start eating the amazing food they offer . They have a big collection of enchiladas , quesadilias, salads , tacos , and other traditional Mexican foods . The stuff is really amazing welcoming and very warm and they make you have a very good experience in total . The best moment is when the food arrives and you get to taste this new experimce of Mexican . It has another vibe in it . The chef obviously knows what is doing and has a very good sense of taste . I have been going there for 5 years now and never had an issue with the restaurant even when ordering . It’s a 5 star restaurant for sure . Just go and try it and you will remember my words . Best

Guests caught me unprepared and decided to order, since I live 3-4 min from the restaurant and thought it would be fast. Order was marked as delivered after 30minutes, but did not arrive for hour and twenty. Spoke with the restaurant twice and the guy was rude. The food was cold upon arrival. Won’t order or visit again. Such a disappointment.

One of the best places to eat when in Plovdiv! Sombrero offers a variety of delicious Mexican food with vegetarian friendly options. The portions are big enough for pretty reasonable prices and the staff is so kind!

Awesome place, had halal chicken and lamb. And tasted amazing too with large portions. Service was quick and everything with a smile, they also had a kids menu which was a treat

The food was simply delicious and the lady who served us was one of the most polite and nice people ever. The dish that I liked was available with lamb only, but the restaurant agreed to make a chicken version for me, which I really appreciated. We are definitely coming back.

After 4 days in the mountain, this is exactly what we needed to energise ourselves.! The portions were sufficient and price was relatively above average but we didn’t mind. Tasty but small portions if you're used to a UK Indian. Don't expect any pickles with your poppadoms and the yogurt dip with the bhargees is tasteless. One nice waitress, the other - not so much.

All dishes were cooked quickly. Waitress asked about spicy level. I guess medium is the best. Meat is tender, rice is full of flavour. Healthy and tasty food, polite and friendly service. Soup was delicious and had healing influence on my stomach. I felt so light and full of energy after this. Maybe it's Indian magic ) A little advice: please remove plates with defects and it's better to hide them on the kitchen instead of letting them gather the dust.

Excellent food!! I was craving for Indian food for a while, and my husband (Bulgarian) tried Indian food for the first time. We loved it. We had the chicken tikka marsala, it was delicious. Right level of spices. Went very well with the rice and cheese naan. The mango lassi was also very good. So were the vegetable samosas. The place itself is very cozy. The waiter is extremely polite and friendly, he speaks English very well which was a plus for the whole experience. Extremely recommended! We will certainly be back soon :)

Enjoyed a great lunch here. We had the Plovdiv salad and a prosccutio pizza, both were really good. Service was good and it was really nice to sit outside in a more relaxed area, it's a street off the pedestrianised area so a bit quieter. We'll definitely be back to try some more of the menu.

One of mine, and my friends' favorite places to eat in Plovdiv.

We went to Sombrero 2 for lunch today (14/06/23). It was our first time there. It was very quiet and we eventually had the place to ourselves, which we love. The waiter we had (Kocmo?) was very attentive and polite, a good representative for the restaurant. The vegetarian meals we ordered were excellent, freshly made to order and full of flavour! The cocktails (traditional Margaritas) were strong, tasty and good value for money, just right! We will be back, and we would recommend this restaurant very highly! Keep up the good work!

The food was delicious and the portions are quite a challenge. I’d say it’s a bit pricey however you get a lot food for the price. The sangria was really nice, I recommend the place!

It was very quiet when we visited late on a Tuesday night. We arrived 10 mins before the kitchen closed at 10pm. We ordered and the service was prompt, the food was good, staff were efficient and it was a nice quiet atmosphere. There is a big menu selection and they do great salads. On my second visit, we placed our order and the waitress obviously did not write down the order correctly as they never brought my main course. No apology or anything, just asked if we wanted the bill.

Very nice view from the terrace. However, the food is overpriced for its quality. The sushi came with canned tuna instead of salmon which is a total disaster for a sushi. The sweet potato fries and the fried squid came warm-ish but definitely not hot. The service is a bit slow.

I make my own pasta from scratch at home. Also, I make my own sauces. The pasta, both the wholegrain and white, was heavy hard and coarse textured. I make silky textured pasta, but this was clumpy and hard. Not enough tomato sauce for pasta. I had pasta with a bit of tomato sauce on top. The pasta in the bottom of the box, had over an inch of plain hot water on the bottom. This was from the pasta not being drained enough. Next box had enough of the anchovy sauce, however taste was bland. Poor ingredients. Could taste anchovy, but no taste of olives, nor capers. Disappointing. Also prices are not transparent, and everything is charged as extra without being informed. The brown pasta was more expensive, but I was not informed until I went to pay

To be real. The last time i was here it was between 2008 and 2009. I like how between all these years the ice cream sundaes have always stayed good, probably the sole reason the place has never stopped being full. This is an great market. I was here on Sunday and about half the booths were operating around noon. There were nuts, spices, fruits, vegetables and even bags of herbal tea picked by a vendor. Great views of Plovdiv all the way up including across to Alosha. A very winding trail up.. all cobbled laid by young people as the books will tell. Some very good short cuts across some of the huge bends. Some atvlower part lead to dead ends. Cobbles were a bit slippery from water runoff after a few days heavy rain... more than ordinary trainers recommended. The empty swimming pool is still at the top.

Youth Hill is the tallest of the famous five hills of Plovdiv. On the top is a strange combination of an old swimming pool and old communications towers. The walk up the hill and other things make this worthwhile site, but first a word of caution. The swimming pool is empty, deep, and not fenced off. So, watch you children don’t get to close or curious. The walk to the top of the hill is on a long winding cobblestone road with a fairly easy grade for walking or biking. We walked and it took about 30 minutes. The views are beautiful and in spring flowering trees are everywhere. The hill can be approached from several directions. Use Google Maps to find the one you want. For young children under 10 there is a Children’s Railroad that is a lot of fun. Parents can take a 15 minute ride part way up the hill and enjoy a view of the city from this little narrow gauge railway. From the end you can ride back or continue up the hill. There is parking on the West side of the hill where the railroad begins. Have fun!

Don’t expect something special. It’s an ordinary park to stroll around. There are some benches where you can have some rest and drink a coffee. By the way there are only a few places where you can buy it. There is a space for kids but it’s not so big as it could be. There is a train, mostly for kids, nothing special for adults. Moving on the train is much interesting rather than the panoramic where it stops. Fountains are empty. Pathways are not so flat. IMHO you could spend a couple of hours there, not a whole day. BTW there are only a few parking spaces!!!

It's an amazing natural park on the western part of the city. Its nature is amazing with old trees and wide green areas. Perfect for hiking. The panaromic view of Plovdiv from the top of the hill is mind-blowing. Watching the sunset from top is also soul feeding experience. There is children railway at the bottom taking the kids around the Youth Hill on its 4 wagons train.

This place has everything! Almost. There are some excellent and very helpful people working here and some unbelievably grumpy til workers who did not like my full trolly of shopping!? I was shopping for 4 which amounted to quite a lot and you'd think that would be welcomed, but two female til attendants had a real issue with it! Thank goodness for the security guard! He was very helpful and made me feel like a welcome customer. He did his job well as a security guard (checking that my bags were empty before I filled them) and then saved the day as well! Thanks to him and some other helpful, friendly staff (and all the goodies for sale of course) I will shop here as often as I can.
