Persian restaurant
Haft Khan Restaurant, located near Quran Gate in Shiraz, is a luxurious dining spot offering top-quality meals and live music. The restaurant is renowned for its diverse menu, catering to seafood lovers, vegetarians, and those seeking authentic Iranian cuisine. With a pleasant atmosphere and professional staff, Haft Khan provides an unforgettable dining experience. The complex features multiple floors with various restaurants and cafes, making it a popular choice among tourists visiting Iran.
Extraordinary restaurant complex in Shiraz. There are 7 different restaurants in the same building, one on each floor. All very good, with many good options of typical dishes, italian gastronomy. All with good service.
Marco F — Google review
Whatever I tell about this restaurant, I have not told enough. The dishes are very tasty and served well. We were served by Mr. Amir Hosein Dawoodi, he was very professional and friendly. Every time we are in Shiraz, Haft Khan is our first choice. Thank you for the nice and unique experience every time again.
Laleh D — Google review
Haftkhan Restaurant in Shiraz used to be a favorite of mine, but my recent visit was really disappointing. The chicken had an unpleasant smell, and the ghormeh sabzi was nothing special—not at all what I expected from a place with such a good reputation. The restaurant itself is nice and has a comfortable atmosphere, but the food quality definitely needs improvement. I’m giving it 2 stars, hoping they can get back to the standards they once had.
Kasra S — Google review
I’ve been going to Haft Khan for years, and my family and I especially like to take our non-Shirazi guests there so they can not only enjoy high-quality food but also experience the live music on the basement floor. The last time we went, with our Khorram-Abadi guest, was on September 5, 2025. The food quality was just as good as before and the portions were generous. The only thing I’d rate lower was the live music, as the vocalist didn’t seem very well-trained. I’ll definitely go back for more if the food quality stays this high.
Maryam P — Google review
I’ve been to Haftkhan for both breakfast and lunch, and overall, it was a good experience. For lunch, we ordered Ghambar Polo and Kalam Polo—both were tasty and came in large portions. Honestly, each dish was easily enough for two people. For breakfast, I tried the warm dish and pancakes. Everything was fresh and satisfying. The ambience is formal and elegant—perfect for important meetings or family gatherings. The architecture and interior design are truly one of a kind, giving the place a prestigious feel. The service wasn’t quite what I expected. Considering the restaurant’s reputation, I thought the staff would be more attentive and welcoming. It was hard to find someone when we needed something, and even small requests like water or drinks took quite a while. A friendly smile would’ve made a big difference, but sadly, that was missing on both visits. The prices are a bit above average, but given the portion sizes, it’s still reasonable. I recommend here for formal occasions or when I want to enjoy a meal in an uniquely designed restaurant.
Bahar D — Google review
A restaurant complex that several people recommended to us. There are several sections to this restaurant with a different focus/theme. The top floor has a view of the surrounding area but the windows are higher up than the tables. The bottom floor serves more traditional (sonati) food on raised platforms (takhts) but with a modern aesthetic. We went for dinner on a Thursday night at about 7:30 pm and left around 9 pm. When we went it wasn’t busy and they quickly seated us. We ordered fresh pomegranate juice which was delicious, gheymeh stew with rice and kalam polo (cabbage rice, we were told it’s a specialty in Shiraz). The gheymeh was delicious and not greasy. The split peas were cooked well. The kalam polo was okay. It had delicious small meatballs in the middle of it. While we were eating there were several live musical performances. The first was a group dressed in colorful traditional clothing who performed the lyrics of a song using sign language. Later there were live singers accompanied by live instruments. The decor was all white and modern looking. The service was good too. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Shiraz especially the bottom floor.
Zahra H — Google review
First, I went to the third floor cafe for an amazing ghelyoon experience. The views of the tree-lined mountain from there were top-notch. Then, I went to the basement for the traditional restaurant level. The decor was white all around with amazing, pristine beds to enjoy highly delicious and tasty traditional Persian food.

Restaurant
Parhami Traditional House is a historic gem nestled in the old neighborhoods of Shiraz, offering an ideal base for exploring the city's renowned attractions. This charming establishment, which has stood for over two centuries, exudes a cozy and inviting ambiance reminiscent of visiting a beloved relative's home. While it is primarily known as a restaurant, it also offers accommodation in classic Iranian-style rooms surrounding a picturesque courtyard with lush greenery and a central fish pond.
Best meal I’ve had in Iran - everything was fresh and well-seasoned. The Shirazi salad was tangy and refreshing, and the kashk bademjan (eggplant-labneh dip) was incredibly creamy and full of fun toppings. Not to mention the service, which was prompt and cordial.
Ciro V — Google review
Parhami Traditional House is a hidden gem in the heart of old Shiraz. This beautifully restored old house, now operating as a restaurant as well, offers an authentic and charming atmosphere that perfectly complements the city’s rich history. The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the exceptional traditional Shirazi cuisine. Every dish was prepared with care, bringing out the true flavors of the region. I enjoyed the experience so much that I returned for a second visit during my stay in Shiraz. The restaurant’s old-fashioned decor and serene ambiance add to its uniqueness. While the traditional setting might not appeal to everyone, I personally loved the nostalgic charm and the peaceful atmosphere. If you’re looking for a place that combines history, culture, and outstanding food, Parhami Traditional House is definitely worth a visit.
Ray A — Google review
The food was delicious and the staff were exceptionally polite and welcoming. We really enjoyed both the meal and the atmosphere. Even though we arrived earlier than our reservation, they kindly let us in, which we really appreciated. While the prices felt a bit on the high side, the overall experience was still worth it—I’d definitely recommend it.
A A — Google review
The overall experience was not very special, yet the prices were quite high—as if we were having the best meal in the city. Unfortunately, as a fan of KalamPolo, I was disappointed to find that it lacked both taste and spices. The GhanbarPolo was also quite average. The drinks and yogurt were overpriced considering the small portions. To top it all off, we found it funny that we had to pay before eating—an odd policy for such a supposedly luxurious establishment. It's not like we were planning on running away without paying!
Zahra F — Google review
A must-visit in Shiraz! Parhami Traditional House serves the best local dishes like Kalam Polo, Kate Gojeh, and Ghambar Polo—authentic, flavorful, and unforgettable. Their Sharbat-e Ablimoo and Bahar Narenj are incredibly refreshing. What makes it extra special is the hospitality of Soroush and Sara, the lovely couple behind this gem. A perfect blend of taste, tradition, and warmth!
Mahshid F — Google review
The food was bad. I don't know what they had in the food, my friend and I were thirsty and sick to our stomachs all day. They had good yogurt, but the food is not recommended. I got diarrhea in the evening

Nestled in the vibrant heart of downtown Shiraz, Ferdowsi Cafe is a delightful retreat named after the esteemed Persian poet Hakim Abu l-Qasim Ferdowsi. This charming spot offers a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for coffee enthusiasts and food lovers alike. With free WiFi available, patrons can enjoy traditional teas and coffees alongside an array of classic Persian dishes and delectable vegetarian options.
We had a breakfast there, the avocado toast and the burrito were amazing, the tea was also good. I'll give a 9/10 to the Americano coffee. Overall, a nice place to visit and have breakfast.
Hasan N — Google review
They are one or 1st modern cafes in Shiraz .. and this is the 2nd branch.. coffee is so good.. cakes and sweet menu is so good also.. big space and many chairs.. it’s able to set in or out .. Only note : they should keep toilet clean .. because it was horrible.. and no follow up .. definitely females suffering with this toilet!!
Khalifa A — Google review
I love the cafe, vibes, and of course the coffee. If you want to try high quality tasty coffee in Shiraz, you should definitely go there. Pastry and food is good but not perfect. Overall, it's recommended.
Mahboobeh M — Google review
The entrance of the cafe was strange and I didn't think it was a cafe behind the walls. When I entered the cafe, due to the old look of the cafe and the unprofessional paint on the ceiling and walls, I didn't expect good food at all, but the food was really good and healthy. I recommend quinoa salad especially for athletes and people who are on a diet. The quinoa salad was a rich source of protein and was really delicious. The chicken and pesto sandwich was also very delicious. I loved it.
Faranak T — Google review
The place is very small, it is mostly outside sitting. Staff is friendly, and the food is well made. Having said that, they really charge a lot considering that they dont have a nice atmosphere, but a mediocre one

I recommend you not to go there without a reservation specially at weekends, otherwise you have to waste a remarkable time for a table. We had a Greek salad and a panini, both were good with fresh ingredients, meanwhile I bothered a lot beacuse of the bad odor which was from the sewage entrance located just near our table as we were sitting outside the cafe (FYI Ferdowsi is a pavement café).

Cafe Hedayat, named after the renowned Iranian writer Sadeq Hedayat, captures the ambiance of mid-20th-century Parisian intellectual culture. The cafe boasts a light and inviting atmosphere with simple wooden furnishings. It is a popular spot in Shiraz known for its exceptional salads and pasta dishes, making it an ideal choice for a light lunch.
Café Hedayat in Shiraz has a cozy and artistic vibe that makes it a nice spot to relax. I tried their cappuccino, which was smooth and well-balanced. The overall atmosphere is calm, with thoughtful design and a creative touch in the details. It’s a good place for catching up with friends or spending time alone with a book. Service was polite and the ambiance really stood out more than the food or drinks.
Fatima G — Google review
The breakfast tasted great, and the preparation time was reasonable. The music was nice, but the staff’s attitude wasn’t particularly hospitable. Pancakes were listed on the menu, but we were told they had been removed and were no longer available. We ordered the spinach and turkey gondola, which was perfectly portioned for two people. The lemonade tasted like lemon juice syrup with soda, which we enjoyed and found delicious. Another drink we tried was the Red Fresh Iced Tea (lemongrass, lavender, honey, hibiscus, strawberry), which had a pleasant, mellow flavor. Overall, it was a good experience.
Saba F — Google review
Hedayat Cafe is awesome. It's always a good and reliable option for enjoying a great meal and relaxing. Their pizza is excellent. the dough always surprises me. it makes me want to hug it! For breakfast, I highly recommend the Khachapuri.
Anahita E — Google review
This place is getting to be like a nostalgia. Now they are beyond being only a cafe and they serve delicious foods. Tried the pizza and pasta, and was quite happy with what we ordered.
Farnaz — Google review
My favorite place since I was a teenager. Café Hedayat is a true gem in Shiraz! The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and their fresh tea is absolutely amazing — refreshing and full of flavor. The breakfast is delicious and generous, the perfect way to start the day. The owner is incredibly kind and lovely, and the staff are not only professional but also highly educated, which makes the experience even better. A wonderful place to relax, enjoy great food, and feel at home. Highly recommended if you’re visiting Shiraz! Breakfast at Café Hedayat in Shiraz = pure happiness 💛 Fresh tea, amazing breakfast, and the loveliest people 🌿🌸

🍳breakfast is the main We had breakfast and I chose this cafe because it was near to my business meeting based on the rates. 💬 Let's talk about food The bacon 🥓 omelet was nice but the one with vegetables 🍃 wasn't good enough. ☕Also, a cortado and latte were at medium level. 🟢 The atmosphere was warm and lovely 🟢 The staff was polite 🟡 I recommend here to try at least once.
Hosein S — Google review
I visited Café Hedayat in Shiraz back in December 2024, and it quickly became one of my all-time favorite cafés. The vibe is cozy and aesthetically designed, with dim lighting, comfy sofas, and a calm, intimate feel. It’s also super clean and well-maintained. The staff were incredibly kind and respectful, and even though the place was busy, service was fast and smooth. Just make sure to reserve ahead, especially for brunch! We had the cheese & mushroom frittata, turkey-spinach gondola, and a German pancake with caramelized apples — all were absolutely delicious. Dinner was just as impressive with their Lasagna Bolognese, Margherita pizza and Prosciutto pizza. Everything looked and tasted amazing. With a creative menu, fair prices, and a truly warm atmosphere, Café Hedayat is a place I’ll keep coming back to whenever I’m in Shiraz. Highly recommended!

Restaurant
Sharze Restaurant is a well-known traditional eatery located in the historical center of Shiraz, close to Zandiyeh hotel and the Vakil mosque. The restaurant offers a menu featuring traditional Iranian dishes and provides a nostalgic ambiance with live music performances mostly consisting of old classic songs. While some visitors find the food to be decent but not exceptional, others appreciate the practicality and deliciousness of the meals.
If you are in Shiraz and spending a day near Arg and Bazaar Vakil definitely try this traditional restaurant, beautiful decorations, vast options, great dishes with reasonable prices! Delicious! at nights they have live traditional music too if you are interested
Azadeh M — Google review
Service was pretty good, a couple of waiters and the cashier spoke very good English. It was a bit confusing when I first stepped in the restaurant as no one greeted me until I grabbed someone. They have an English menu, and I supposed prices are the same as what locals pay. The waiter presented pictures of the dishes to me on an iPad, and it was pretty helpful. The food was decent, a few pieces of the lamb chops were slightly overcooked, but generally pretty tasty. Rice came with a small piece of butter, it was a really good addition to the dish. Overall, I’d say the food’s a bit dry as it was served without any sauces whatsoever, but it seems like they did it the traditional way, so nothing really to complain about either. It gets pricey if you opt for a “fancier” dish, but generally I think it’s quite decent, other basic kebab dishes were like 3 to 5 million riyals.
Salim F — Google review
It's relatively a good restaurant in the historical centre of Shiraz, right at the entrance of the Vakil mosque. The menu consists of traditional Iranian dishes. The food is decent, though no exceptional. I had mushroom soup and barg kebab. The soup was tasteless, and I needed a lot of salt and pepper to add some flavour. The kebab was fine. The service is OK, but as is the case with many other restaurants I have visited in Shiraz, the attitude of the personnel is rather dry. They have live music on the lower floor. It's slightly overpriced as well.
Reza N — Google review
Not good I'm afraid. I ordered 'Tah Chin (Chicken)' but it was just acceptable. They didn't have 'the local Dough' which is kinda weird, and there was no background music. Not recommended!
Sina S — Google review
A traditional resturant which serves traditional Iranian food. There is a food named Matanjan which is a heritage from Safavid dynasty. The quality and was good. Price is a little bit high

Disappointing Experience - Avoid This Restaurant I recently visited Sharze Restaurant during my trip to Shiraz, and I must say it was a highly disappointing experience. I feel compelled to share my feedback to caution other tourists. First and foremost, the quality of the food was subpar. The dishes I ordered lacked flavor and were poorly executed. It was evident that little care was put into their preparation. The ingredients seemed stale, and the overall presentation was unappetizing. I was truly disappointed with the taste and overall quality of the meals. Additionally, the staff's behavior was far from acceptable. They were consistently rude and inattentive throughout my visit. It felt as if they were doing me a favor by serving me. They lacked basic courtesy and failed to address my concerns when I raised them. Moreover, the atmosphere of the restaurant was underwhelming. The ambiance was dull and uninviting, which further added to my overall dissatisfaction. I highly advise fellow tourists to avoid Sharze Restaurant during their visit to Shiraz. There are plenty of other dining options available that offer better quality food, attentive service, and a pleasant atmosphere. It's disheartening to see a place with such potential fall short in every aspect. I hope my review serves as a helpful warning to others, allowing them to make more informed choices when it comes to dining in Shiraz.

Kateh Mas Restaurant is a popular traditional eatery located in the heart of Shiraz, making it easily accessible from anywhere in the city. The restaurant prides itself on offering an authentic all-Iranian experience, from its decor to its menu and staff attire. Despite being busy most days, the service and food quality are consistently reliable. The atmosphere is designed to transport diners back to the old mansions of the Zendiyeh period, with cool blue tiles adorning the walls.
The interior and decoration were excellent. The service was good, the staff were wonderful and had traditional clothes. The food was of good quality and very delicious. The price was reasonable and the menu varied. The local buttermilk was delicious. The waiting time was short and the food was brought in a few minutes.
Mojtaba S — Google review
🍛Food → We ordered Aloo Polo and Ghalyeh Mahi. The Aloo Polo came with rice, meat, and chips. We liked it, but it was just fine overall. The Ghalyeh Mahi had fish with a bad odor, and we didn’t like it. We also ordered Doogh — it was cold, delicious, and served in a large portion. 🧍‍♂️Staff → They were unpleasant and did not take the order quickly. We tried to change our menu just one minute after ordering, but they said we couldn’t, which was disappointing. 🎶Decor and atmosphere → The restaurant has an ancient-style design, and the live music was lovely. However, the lighting was too dim. 🛎Service → They brought our food very quickly, which was nice. But as soon as we finished, they cleared everything without even asking for permission, even though the restaurant wasn’t crowded. That felt rude.
Zahra V — Google review
I enjoyed the live music and traditional ambiance, the staff was friendly, and the food was good. However, I was slightly disappointed as I expected the Kalam Polo to be better since that was the main reason for my visit.
Nasim M — Google review
I was recommended this place by a couple of taxi drivers. The atmosphere is great and the space is very unique and traditional reminder for lunch, and there was a live music which was fantastic. I tried the Kalam Polo (authentic Shirazi dish) which was very flavourful a nice. I also had the sour beef kebab, which was a bit tough and dry. The price is very reasonable. If you want to have an authentic experience it’s a good place to try.
Pouyan F — Google review
Usher couldn’t take a joke making it awkward. Salad images in the menu not scale compared to main course dishes making you think it’s larger than what they really are. Food quality acceptable. No live music when I went there but there is a stage for it.
Nima — Google review
Food: It was very tasteless and cold, and the desserts did not taste good and were long overdue for preparation. Restaurant environment: It is beautiful in terms of traditional design, the space of the hall is very small and the tables are very close to each other and it is very difficult to move around. In this environment with a low ceiling and poor ventilation, hookah is also served, which creates a heavy atmosphere. The environment is very unsanitary. Next to the bathroom, there is a bread oven where hot bread is prepared. The bathroom is also extremely dirty and unsanitary. Staff: They try to add items to orders without the customer's knowledge. The behavior of the staff is very disrespectful, especially some of the salon owners and cashiers who speak to customers with vulgar words and sexual jokes and it is quite obvious that they are under the influence of drugs.

Ordered steak and was hoping it looked like one of the review photos. It didn't, but it was still very good. Was a bit disappointed that the listed potato didn't come with the meal because they had run out. Still giving 5 stars because when the bill came I had a brain fade and did a mental calculation that I didn't have enough cash on me (I did, by 7 times over the amount of the bill). They were kind enough to trust me to go back to the hotel and return with enough cash. Given the upscale nature of the place, the dinner was actually very reasonably priced.

The restaurant provides a cozy yet refined atmosphere suitable for casual gatherings or special occasions. Guests can expect exemplary service from the moment they arrive.
We've order 1 lamb chunk + 1 soup + 1 plate of rice + 2 tea in first month of 2024 with a price of 875 thousand toman It was delightfully delicious with a spectacular tasting sauce The view was really eye-catching Service was fair but it could be better Generally its a little over price but worth it in my opinion Finally 5 star suits for this restaurant

The food was fresh, delicious, and more than enough for one person. However, for lunch, the dining area lacked a special atmosphere or distinctive décor, and it was not very cool inside. The staff were friendly but did not seem to be professionally trained.

Terrible service and staff. They missed to communicate our order to the kitchen, after 45 mins of waiting they got our order tracked and after an hour we got our order, they were unapologetic and rude about it too. Plates were all dirty. They brought the order without having the right side dishes. We had to do lots of back and forths to get our basic order delivered.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Shandiz Restaurant in Shiraz and was thoroughly impressed by the entire experience. **Ambiance and Atmosphere:** The restaurant exudes a warm and inviting ambiance, blending traditional Persian elements with a modern, elegant touch. The tasteful decor, soft lighting, and comfortable seating create a cozy yet refined atmosphere, perfect for both casual gatherings and special occasions. **Service:** From the moment I arrived, the service was exemplary. The staff were attentive, friendly, and highly knowledgeable about the menu. They went out of their way to ensure that every aspect of the dining experience was enjoyable, providing thoughtful recommendations and accommodating special requests with grace and efficiency. **Cuisine:** The highlight of the evening was, undoubtedly, the food. Shandiz Restaurant is renowned for its expertly prepared kebabs, and they did not disappoint. The **Shishlik**, a specialty of the house, was succulent and perfectly seasoned, showcasing the quality of the meat and the chef’s skill. Each bite was tender and flavorful, with a delightful smoky char that added depth to the dish. The **Barg Kebab** was another standout, beautifully marinated and grilled to perfection. It was juicy, well-seasoned, and paired wonderfully with the fragrant saffron rice. The sides and appetizers, including the **Mast-o Khiar** and the **Shirazi Salad**, were fresh and complemented the main dishes perfectly. **Presentation and Portions:** The presentation of the dishes was both appealing and thoughtful, highlighting the vibrant colors and textures of the ingredients. Portion sizes were generous, providing excellent value for the quality and quantity of food served. **Overall Experience:** My dining experience at Shandiz Restaurant was truly memorable. The combination of exceptional food, attentive service, and a delightful ambiance made for a fantastic evening. Shandiz stands out as a top dining destination in Shiraz, offering a culinary journey that celebrates the richness of Persian cuisine with a contemporary flair. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking an outstanding meal in a sophisticated setting.

Rotten lemon, cold and pre-cooked kebab, bad selection of music, untrained staff and rather high price for the service and food. I Won’t suggest it.

This restaurant is one of the best traditional Iranian restaurants, but the prices of food are very high, the time to prepare food was very fast and hot food served to us, if you are a tourist and need to save more money, I will suggest others restaurants ...

Alto Board Game Cafe is a popular spot in Shiraz, offering a fun and inviting atmosphere for visitors. The staff are known for being incredibly friendly, making the experience enjoyable. While it may take some time to get both breakfast and play games together, the costs are reasonable and not overly expensive. The cafe is recommended mainly for gaming rather than dining. It's an ideal place to spend time with friends, offering a wide variety of board games and delicious food at reasonable prices.
On my first visit to a game cafe, I had a blast with my friends. The staff were incredibly friendly, nice, and patient, making our experience even more enjoyable. However, it took us a while to have both breakfast and play games together. Based on my experience, I recommend going to the cafe solely for gaming and not for a meal. The costs were reasonable and not overly expensive. What I loved most was the atmosphere - it was inviting and fun. Additionally, the food was delicious. I'm eager to return to the cafe and play more games. Trust me, once you start playing, time will fly by!

This hotel is relatively small but cozy, located in the city center. While it doesn't offer very luxurious facilities, it is both comfortable and welcoming. The honeymoon room was clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was OK. I highly recommend trying the traditional bath—it was a great and relaxing experience!

We had an amazing 1-week stay at Hotel Zandiyeh. Best personnel ever. Very polite and respectful. Room services are great. Everything was perfect. Restaurants was great and served amazing foods. Variety of breakfast options was fabulous. The hotel’s location is perfect and has walking distance to Zandiyeh Complex. I highly recommend this hotel if you are visiting Shiraz.

Had a reservation issue and the staff were extremely unhelpful. Made a reservation for a two beds for two, the hotel was claiming that it was a two beds for one even though my reservation clearly had the names of two guest. They wanted to charge me almost double the amount. I had to leave and find another hotel at midnight. Very bad service and unaccommodating manager.

I had a wonderful experience at Homa Hotel Shiraz. The food was absolutely delicious, offering a great mix of traditional Persian dishes and international options, all beautifully presented and full of flavor. The environment was elegant, clean, and very relaxing perfect for both leisure and business stays. What stood out the most was the staff; they were incredibly respectful, attentive, and always ready to help with a warm smile. Their professionalism truly added to the overall pleasant atmosphere. I highly recommend Homa Hotel for anyone visiting Shiraz.

We had a pleasant stay in this beautiful hotel. Hotel Homa is a great choice for several reasons: -There is a lot of parking place. -The area of hotel is perfect and you can enjoy flowers and plants. -Rooms are quiet and clean. -Staff is super friendly and will help you to have a nice trip. -Breakfast is average but complete. -There is good access to historical and famous places of Shiraz. To sum it up, if you want to have a good stay in 5-star hotel, Homa is a good choice, unless you want to pay more.

The ambiance is inviting, with decor that beautifully reflects the local culture while incorporating an industrial style featuring wood and scaffolding elements.

One of the top cafés in Shiraz. I've tried the salad with meat, and some pizzas in the 2nd branch. The taste of their food is really good! Absolutely recommended! Reef'n beef is awesome! Unbelievably delicious!

I would have given a zero but unfortunately it’s not an option. The behavior is utterly offensive. After accepting our order second to the one standing behind us, the cashier managed to take our order in the wrong way. When we told the manager what happened not only did he not apologize but he responded in such rude manner that I have never seen before. So the staff including the manager are so disappointing that it doesn’t even worth to try the food. Don’t bother they either will take your order wrong or not at all and then after 30-40 minutes waiting you will realize that it was for something you didn’t even order and guess what, they don’t even care.

We had some different dishes such as pasta, chicken stroganoff and 2 sandwiches. That pasta was awful and its cream had sour taste. The stroganoff was terrible too, the sandwiches and fries was ok. Totally I will never go there again.

(Translated by Google) It has an attractive environment and decoration suitable for the atmosphere of the city of Aftab. The quality of the fillet pizza was very good and it had a hearty taste. Although the price was relatively high. We also tried the steak salad, which I do not recommend at all. The mojito and margarita drinks were also of very good quality, but compared to the volume, the price was very high. Staff treatment, cleanliness and service delivery. It was worthy of the name Kafe Hedayat.

It had a cute decor. The taste of the food and the service were average. While I was sitting there, I could hear the staff talking to each other, and it wasn’t very pleasant for me. Overall, it wasn’t a bad experience for a one-time visit, but it wasn’t something that would make me want to come back. I had Arrabbiata pasta for lunch. I liked the music that was playing. The volume of all the tracks was balanced, and their style suited the place.

My experience at Abizh Cafe was a mixed bag. I visited with a friend there and we ordered the Greek salad and lasagna. Unfortunately, the Greek salad was disappointing and lacked flavour, but the lasagna was delicious and made up for it. The staff was friendly and polite, which added to the positive aspects of our visit. One standout feature of the cafe was its unique and visually appealing interior design, which created a pleasant atmosphere. Overall, while the food was inconsistent, the service and ambience made the visit enjoyable. برای بار دوم من شیک نوتلا سفارش دادم و واقعا خوشمزه بود For my second visit to Abizh Cafe, I ordered a Nutella shake, and it was truly amazing! Nice place, similar to Tehran downtown cafes with the garden and the bookstore extension. Not at a touristic part of the city but if you do not have anything for an evening might be good to see solace where the locals enjoy. So thought the garden is open air, they do not let you smoke everywhere only a special corner is reserved for smoking.

This cafe is actually a garden on Sattar Khan Street, where there is a beautiful pond, so a beautiful wooden bridge is built over the pond, which doubles the beauty of this cafe. In fact, if you are into cafe photography, this cafe is highly recommended. The cafe's menu includes a variety of coffee-based drinks, and in addition to that, a variety of foods are also served. Also, you can easily find a parking place by going to Cafe Berke. So don't worry about the parking space and visit this cafe with peace and ease.

Loved the place and the garden. it's so beautiful. The pasta is great there, especially the Chicken Alfredo. The coffee was good but could be better and they don't serve drinks such as cola or Pepsi or sprite. only Juice and Coffee! I think it would be better if they serve some other beverages such as cola with dinner. anyway Berke is one of my favorite cafes in Shiraz. the only thing is that you should wear hijab there and you can not let your scarf fall off your head even for a minute! otherwise the staff will warn you about it, I haven't seen this behavior in other cafes in Shiraz for sure. Hope this issue will be solved soon.
Zohreh K — Google review
A lovely garden with a wide vegetation. The food was good and the price was fair. I couldn't stop enjoying the atmosphere; yet it's a bit too crowded that you may have to wait till a table is free. The funny thing is that you have to pay the bill right after ordering or it won't be charged.

Khosha Shiraz Restaurant Garden is one of the top dining spots in Shiraz, offering a beautiful and cozy atmosphere with both indoor and outdoor seating. The restaurant serves a variety of Persian and traditional dishes, known for its quality food and regular service. Guests can enjoy the lively ambiance with live music while indulging in delicious meals. The staff are polite, and the prices are reasonable considering the high food quality.
Greatest food quality with too many tables with different sizes. Price are good with respect to food quality. Try sheep neck (Gardan Goosfand).

The place itself is quite nice and cozy. Most elements resonate with shiraz itself. U can take lots of photos. The staff were friendly. The food was rather ordinary. Dont expect to have great Shirazi cuisines. The tea was teabag and was Aweful for such a place to offer.

We had mixed feelings when we had lunch. The place is cozy. The service is good. The serving staff were sweet. The food was nice. We sat in a kiosk type hut. The manager’s manners were not welcoming. I do not recommend this place for lunch. We came a long distance for a normal experience. But I heard there is music at dinner with a nice atmosphere.

The environment was so beautiful, staff are polite, food quality is 5 of 5 and the prices are relative to it's quality, not unreasonable

Horrible service, waiters are rude and make mistakes in the orders. Food is mediocre and unappealing. Atmosphere is loud and over the top. Waiter refused to seat us in a more comfortable location. Do not recommend for tourists, Baghe Raz is a much better option. Even as I writing this they make a mistake in the takeaway order yet again and keep stating that they can't fulfill the order after it has been confirmed.

The restaurant is far away from regular tourists attractions. Vegi´s please check the menu before visit, I couldn´t find any vegeterian food in the list. Over all good experience.

This place was like stepping into a dream. The ancient Persian house, complete with indoor courtyard, fountains, and roof terrace with a view of the mountains and old city, was tastefully restored. My room had ancient painted tiles in the bathroom and a beautiful 4 poster bed and antique Iranian objects. I liked the location in the heart of the old city where I was able to roam at my leisure and felt very safe despite being alone. I liked the staff, always smiling and gracious, and the food served on the terrace in a covered patio. I highly recommend it if you want to experience authentic Persian heritage and lovely people.

An authentic Shiraz experience in a wonderful, welcoming, and cosy historic house of over 270 years with uniquely positive energy. You feel right at home in both its tastefully decorated rooms from different historic eras as well as in its sanctuary-like garden and 360degree view rooftop, overlooking the mountains and the highlights of the city. This boutique traditional hotel is centrally located in the heart of the old town within walking distance to most tourist attractions. The delicious food is home-made daily and the staff if super friendly. Highly recommended!

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights and loved our experience there. The hotel is a beautiful traditional house but the rooms (which are also beautiful) offer the comfort of a modern hotel. The staff is extremely friendly. Breakfast is simple but delicious. We also had dinner twice there, food was great (with more options than just the traditional kababs) and inexpensive. Dinner can be taken either in the courtyard or on the rooftop which offers a nice view over the city. After 5 trips to Iran and multiple hotels tested, the House of Elephants is definitely one of the best place I’ve stayed at.

Very polite and friendly staff, a pleasant atmosphere, well managed and super clean. We became acquainted with the owner, who speaks fluent English and he made the Shiraz experience extra ordinary. Located in the heart of Shiraz, Shiraz Grand Hotel is a luxurious 5-star establishment offering upscale lodging and top-notch amenities. The hotel features gender-segregated spas, pools, sports facilities, and upmarket restaurants. With 170 rooms spread across 14 floors, this grand hotel provides modern amenities and bilingual staff to ensure guest satisfaction. Its prime location near the Quran Gate and proximity to tourist attractions make it an ideal choice for travelers.
This hotel has been a beacon of light during my stay in Shiraz. It's exquisite with a variety of amenities including a salon with a gorgeous view at a reasonable rate, scrumptious breakfast buffet every morning with some of my favorite Persian, traditional breakfasts and excellent service. There is a car service that you can get at an extra cost which made traveling around the city easy, reliable and safe. The drivers are all educated and very respectful. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Shiraz. You get so much for your money. I will definitely come back the the Shiraz Hotel over and over again.

I celebrated my wife’s birthday at this hotel and it was an absolutely amazing experience. Everything was organized perfectly. The floral design, arranged by the hotel’s in-house florist, was stunning and added a beautiful touch to the celebration. The videography and photography services provided by the hotel’s media team were extremely professional and high-quality — we were truly impressed with the results. The restaurant staff were incredibly kind and respectful. I’d like to give a special thanks to Mr. Zare, the restaurant manager, for his attentive service and warm hospitality. Also, Ms. Somayeh, one of the hostesses, had a very professional and pleasant attitude which made the evening even more enjoyable. Everything exceeded our expectations, and I will definitely return for future special occasions. Highly recommended

This café is located inside the Grand Hotel of Shiraz. We stopped by for some tea and cake, mostly to relax and enjoy a change of scenery — and it definitely delivered on that. We spent about an hour sitting outside, enjoying a beautiful city view. The vibe was peaceful and the service was friendly and attentive. The menu isn’t super diverse, but what they do offer is good quality. If you're looking for a calm spot to chat and unwind with a nice view, this place is definitely worth a visit.
Rahil D — Google review
Unfortunately, our experience at Hotel Shiraz Restaurant was disappointing. We were a large group, and the service was poorly coordinated—everyone’s food arrived at different times, and I received my meal only after the rest of the group had already finished eating. I ordered the shishlik, which was just okay but had a slight smell that made it less enjoyable. I also shared some shrimp with my sister, which was average at best. Considering the quality and experience, the meal ended up costing more than it was worth. Definitely expected better from a hotel restaurant.
Fatima G — Google review
The experience we had at this hotel in overall was great. The staff was always friendly and welcoming. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of foods to eat, including made to order omelets. The breakfast area had large windows that provided a great view of the city. Most tourist attractions required a taxi ride but we could walk to Quran gate and the tomb of Hafez. There were a few nearby restaurants. On the 2nd floor they had an indoor playground which my child took full advantage. One of us got a massage here and were quite happy with the service. The hotel also arranged for a car service to take us for a day tour of Persepolis, Pasargad and Naqshe-Rostam. There were car has air conditioning, which is an absolute must in warm weather. The beds were comfortable. We had dinner one night in the panoramic restaurant and it was okay not overly memorable except for the views of the city especially at night which were amazing. In overall I would recommend this hotel especially if you have young children.

Persepolis Hotel, located near Hafez Junction in Shiraz, offers straightforward accommodations with a casual restaurant, indoor pool, and gym. The hotel is situated close to popular attractions such as Jahan Nama Garden, Hafez's Tomb, and Karim Khan Citadel. While some historical controversy surrounds the site of Persepolis itself, the hotel provides clean and cozy rooms for guests to enjoy during their stay.

If you are looking for a 5 star hotel then this is definitely not the right choice. Generally you can deduct one star from rating of most hotel in Iran but here one is not enough 😅 I arrived late at night and receptionist and other staff were very helpful and friendly. Room, bathroom etc. are old but reasonably clean, room furniture and set-up reminded me of hotels from 30 years ago.
Moh K — Google review
Pros: - Great location, walk distance to Hafez tomb - spacy rooms - helpful staff Cons: - Poor & old facility, bathroom ventilation - Poor breakfast variation, no pancakes, no croissant and no coffee. For a 5 star international hotel you expect to see a proper coffee machine with real coffee beans Still way to go to be a real 5 star international hotel
Mehdi Z — Google review
If you are expecting to stay at a real five-star hotel, do NOT try this one. The service is awful, the staff act like they are doing you a favor, and the rooms are dirty with cockroaches inside. This is a typical two-star hotel with three fake stars attached. Expensive for nothing — just useless money thrown away. In total, TRASH!
Arghavan B — Google review
Hotel is affordable, and stuff is very kind and useful. Building is older but for one two nights its ok. Website said it has gym,but there was one empty room with high humidity and so much warm temperature for work out and one old roten machine.. Iranians r kind, but they should check the hotels in europe about the services like gym. Food was for breakfast good, but the dinner cooked kebab wasnt much good.

It's a small, cozy Café very close to the Afif Abad garden in Shiraz. The Mocha I had was very nice and the service was fine. The cake was relatively stale, and they did not have very many options of pastries, and most of the ones in the menu were unavailable. Still, it was pretty cool.

The taste of the food hasn’t changed over the years and still has the same familiar flavor. Among the cafés around Vakil Bazaar, I think this place offers the best quality. Excellent atmosphere at night. After the visit of the market ( hence extensive walking!), it is nice to sit down, gaze people and have a cup of coffee and tea. With four of us, we tried various cakes and mountain tea. Wonderful place to chill! A must see bathroom!

I’ve been going to Joulep for years, and I keep coming back. The last time I went was on September 6, 2025, and not only was the food quality just as good, but we were also able to sit on the balcony and enjoy the dreamy atmosphere from a fresh perspective. I love this place and will definitely be back again.

The Joulep Bistro overlooks the historical Vakil Mosque (Lawyer Mosque). The surroundings are the nicest you'll see in all of Shiraz. The shops are modern with a Midwestern mountain flare (if you're familiar with the US). They sell Qashqai items there. The bistro itself has amazing music and a great menu of food items. On hotter days, I'd recommend the ab doogh khiar mast. Great for people watching and a must-see when you're in Shiraz.
Nikoo K — Google review
This is ideally located at one end of central place with an overview of Vakil mosque and hustling bustling place. It's on 2 min walk from Vakil Bath house. The staff is very friendly . The lunch and dinner menue is a bit limited and seems more veg oriented. They have good breakfast options as well. But highlight is their signature drinks and sweats. We tried the tea with Istanbul baklava and it was great. Overall a good experience. They usually have no place so it's a good idea to have reservation pre hand as you come in evening and then come for dinner or lunch. I would recommend for an evening or breakfast.

First I used the vending machine to get a coffee which didn't work. I was refined and ordered a usual coffee. The barista said it takes about 15 mins till the coffee maker starts working and I said that I'll wait. But after about 45 mins she still had not even started making the coffee. And I was late for my class. She was very friendly and nice but wasted my time and I didn't get a heck of a coffee :/
Ali G — Google review
The service is awful! They kept us waiting for like half an hour just to take our orders and then they took an hour to bring us our orders which were 3 cups of tea and 3 cake slices !! The cake was not fresh and it looked like it was from days ago which they didn't warn us about it! And worst of all when we complained to their manager, they were very rude and not professional at all! There are many good cafes in this beautiful area but Mahooni cafe is not one of them. Don't waste your time and money here!

This place has a contemporary atmosphere. It seems to be aimed at a young and/or tourist audience. There is a piano apparently sometimes with live music. The tea was very good. A nice place to take a break when walking from town to the Quran gate or Hafez tomb.
Thomas G — Google review
For a change, in Iran, the pasta was not under- or overcooked and extremely delicious! The "cheese fries" dish is very American (Taco Bell could serve it) and something you have to like: potato chips, chicken or meat, topped with molten cheese and ketchup. Coffees are spectacular and young, hip Iranians come here to sip them uninterrupted in the air conditioning. The decor is nice and relaxing with unobtrusive western music (mainly piano concerto's upstairs and something more active downstairs). Comes also with a western toilet as well as a VIP-lounge for bigger groups.

We ordered a sour drink, they suggested Phoenix and Red Mojito, and the drink that was brought had no taste, they said it had pieces of fruit, which he didn't have. The pasta was very unsalted. When I discussed the matter with the Royal Cafe staff, they said that you must not like drinking a thousand times. Saying that we have many customers, we don't have power, don't disturb our work, finally, don't see the drink money and go out!!! To my surprise, from their behavior and attitude, they took the cost of the drink when calculating the food!!!

Don't bother coming here. Cafe wasn't crowded but we were told we had to wait 30 minutes for our food. It's now one hour later and the waiter has only just confirmed our order again - and also informed me there are no eggs for my omelette (he didn't know an hour ago?). A few angry customers here whose food has never arrived, and some have walked out after waiting 45 min in vain.
Su S — Google review
We were glad to recieve an English menu card until we discovered the prices on the Farsi language menu card were half of ours. This is a pure tourist trap that is unfair and dishonest. To avoid at all cost if you want your day not to be spoiled after having been stolen. Go away from the historical monuments to find only very honest merchants.
Nicolas G — Google review
Be carefull with this place. They have two different menus for tourists (in english) and locals(in farsi) with different prices. Of course tourists pay a lot more for the same thing. When we confronted the waitress, she calmly said that they do that on purpose. The best part is that they even tried to charge us more than it was written on the english menu. Better avoid this place since it's a complete fraud.

Arg Cafe is a great place to have a drink and some traditional foods. The staff are really friendly and the atmosphere is really nice. Very nice and comfortable atmosphere with lots of antique things. I like it very much. We ordered pasta alfredo and chicken stroganoff. The pasta tastes good but I think the chicken stroganoff was too salty. But the staff was so nice to make it again. Highly appreciated.

A nice coffee shop with good and friendly design and atmosphere. The ingredients are fresh and good and the taste of foods are good too. We ordered “ tabestoon kootah = short summer” and red mojito which have good test. It is good for middle of day at summer because either the atmosphere has a good temperature and the short summer is so cold and make you feel cool. My take away lunch experience from this restaurant was far from satisfactory. I ordered the 'Mesri Kabab' and was deeply disappointed with the quality of the dish. Not only was the taste poor, but it also led to stomachache afterwards. Considering the substandard quality of food and its negative effects, I would not recommend this place for take away
Hasti D — Google review
The atmosphere has a great vibe, and every part of the design is well thought out and beautiful. The kebab was very tasty—juicy, tender, and without any fatty smell. The grilled fish was well-seasoned and delicious. This is one of those places that maintains its quality and is definitely worth revisiting.
Mahbobe M — Google review
The restaurant had a varied menu, but for seafood, only one type of fish was served in different cooking methods. The appearance of the food was very good, but I was not satisfied with the quality and taste of the food. I think either the ingredients were not of the required quality or the cooking oil and ingredients were of poor quality or not fresh. The restaurant staff were very active and did not have enough time to respond to the customer, and some people were not trained enough to know how to respond. Of course, this may be related to the personality traits of the people who did not accept that they should be completely at the service of the customer and not look down on them.

Slightly European flair, nice place to sit outside, home-baked cakes, freshly ground coffee, café au lait or Turkish coffee. But quality of rice could be better. After asking and confirming and reconfirming for 3 times the food were served wrong at our table! We were 10 people. One of our 2 “Afife Polo” was served different and they didn’t describe why, until we decided to ask and they told “Tahdig” was overcooked and we didn’t serve it. This café has a great vibe that sets it apart from the rest. The ambiance is cozy, inviting, and just the perfect spot to unwind or catch up with friends. Moreover, their coffee was reasonably good. The staff's passion for their craft truly reflects in every cup served. We enjoyed both the atmosphere and the nice coffee. It's definitely become my go-to place for a relaxing and delightful coffee experience.

There staff are really friendly and it has a peaceful place (not in the busy times obviously). They have pretty good cakes and coffee and also there's a cookie named "chocolate and walnut" this tastes like heaven with a latte. If you're looking for a place to have a coffee and rest for a while I recommend you to visit this place but not in the evening because of some schools are closing in the evening and this makes the street so crowded and unpeaceful. This place doesn't have tables that you can sit there it had just some chairs which you can have a seat for a while to drink your coffee.

If you're looking for a cafe that serves amazing ice creams and has a great ambiance, then look no further than Del Fico. This Cafe is an absolute gem, offering unforgettable flavours of ice cream that will leave you craving for more. They also have great selection of cakes and coffee. Highly recommended.

Nice and cozy environment. Friendly smiling staff. They have the best macaroons in Shiraz.the gelatod are great especially apple, melon and Oreo tastes. The red velvet cake is the best I've ever tried. Even in comparison to NYC.

You can have your coffee or other types of drinks in an enjoyable peaceful family-friendly outdoor space at Delfico. The staff are very friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming as well. The variety of drinks, milkshakes and gelatos along with hot drinks including tea and herbal drinks is good enough.
Mahnoosh D — Google review
Honestly speaking I have been there twice and I should admit that this is one of the best cafes I have ever been. They offer the yummiest Italian gelatos and overally a good menu. I liked the arrangement and dishesh. It was a cosy place. waiters were friendly and welcoming. My sister and I went there 3 days ago and we ordered a delfico tea with red velvet cake plus a spagettieis. Everything was quite satisfying. The only negative point that a bit changed my mind about going there was that, the waiters were asking clients to leave if they had stopped eating or drinking plus when the cafe was crowded and I did not like it at all and think this is not polite. They can charge people for services rather than doing this or expand the area.

At Soraya Café, you can guarantee a delectable and high-quality coffee experience. The staff are always accommodating when it comes to making your latte with a lower milk temperature, and their kind demeanor adds to the overall pleasant atmosphere. Additionally, their peanut cookies are exceptional and can be further enhanced by requesting them to be warmed for an indulgent chocolatey delight. This cozy take-away café is not only known for its friendly vibe but also for its reasonable prices.
Be sure you'll have delicious and quality coffee there. I always ask them to make the latte with a low milk temperature, and they always do it with kind behavior. They have some excellent peanut cookies that you will love them. Ask them to warm the cookies a bit so that you can enjoy the melting chocolate.
