Whatever I tell about this restaurant, I have not told enough. The dishes are very tasty and served well. We were served by Mr. Amir Hosein Dawoodi, he was very professional and friendly. Every time we are in Shiraz, Haft Khan is our first choice. Thank you for the nice and unique experience every time again.

Haftkhan Restaurant in Shiraz used to be a favorite of mine, but my recent visit was really disappointing. The chicken had an unpleasant smell, and the ghormeh sabzi was nothing special—not at all what I expected from a place with such a good reputation. The restaurant itself is nice and has a comfortable atmosphere, but the food quality definitely needs improvement. I’m giving it 2 stars, hoping they can get back to the standards they once had.

I’ve been going to Haft Khan for years, and my family and I especially like to take our non-Shirazi guests there so they can not only enjoy high-quality food but also experience the live music on the basement floor. The last time we went, with our Khorram-Abadi guest, was on September 5, 2025. The food quality was just as good as before and the portions were generous. The only thing I’d rate lower was the live music, as the vocalist didn’t seem very well-trained. I’ll definitely go back for more if the food quality stays this high.

I’ve been to Haftkhan for both breakfast and lunch, and overall, it was a good experience. For lunch, we ordered Ghambar Polo and Kalam Polo—both were tasty and came in large portions. Honestly, each dish was easily enough for two people. For breakfast, I tried the warm dish and pancakes. Everything was fresh and satisfying. The ambience is formal and elegant—perfect for important meetings or family gatherings. The architecture and interior design are truly one of a kind, giving the place a prestigious feel. The service wasn’t quite what I expected. Considering the restaurant’s reputation, I thought the staff would be more attentive and welcoming. It was hard to find someone when we needed something, and even small requests like water or drinks took quite a while. A friendly smile would’ve made a big difference, but sadly, that was missing on both visits. The prices are a bit above average, but given the portion sizes, it’s still reasonable. I recommend here for formal occasions or when I want to enjoy a meal in an uniquely designed restaurant.

A restaurant complex that several people recommended to us. There are several sections to this restaurant with a different focus/theme. The top floor has a view of the surrounding area but the windows are higher up than the tables. The bottom floor serves more traditional (sonati) food on raised platforms (takhts) but with a modern aesthetic. We went for dinner on a Thursday night at about 7:30 pm and left around 9 pm. When we went it wasn’t busy and they quickly seated us. We ordered fresh pomegranate juice which was delicious, gheymeh stew with rice and kalam polo (cabbage rice, we were told it’s a specialty in Shiraz). The gheymeh was delicious and not greasy. The split peas were cooked well. The kalam polo was okay. It had delicious small meatballs in the middle of it. While we were eating there were several live musical performances. The first was a group dressed in colorful traditional clothing who performed the lyrics of a song using sign language. Later there were live singers accompanied by live instruments. The decor was all white and modern looking. The service was good too. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Shiraz especially the bottom floor.

First, I went to the third floor cafe for an amazing ghelyoon experience. The views of the tree-lined mountain from there were top-notch. Then, I went to the basement for the traditional restaurant level. The decor was white all around with amazing, pristine beds to enjoy highly delicious and tasty traditional Persian food.

Parhami Traditional House is a hidden gem in the heart of old Shiraz. This beautifully restored old house, now operating as a restaurant as well, offers an authentic and charming atmosphere that perfectly complements the city’s rich history. The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the exceptional traditional Shirazi cuisine. Every dish was prepared with care, bringing out the true flavors of the region. I enjoyed the experience so much that I returned for a second visit during my stay in Shiraz. The restaurant’s old-fashioned decor and serene ambiance add to its uniqueness. While the traditional setting might not appeal to everyone, I personally loved the nostalgic charm and the peaceful atmosphere. If you’re looking for a place that combines history, culture, and outstanding food, Parhami Traditional House is definitely worth a visit.

The food was delicious and the staff were exceptionally polite and welcoming. We really enjoyed both the meal and the atmosphere. Even though we arrived earlier than our reservation, they kindly let us in, which we really appreciated. While the prices felt a bit on the high side, the overall experience was still worth it—I’d definitely recommend it.

The overall experience was not very special, yet the prices were quite high—as if we were having the best meal in the city. Unfortunately, as a fan of KalamPolo, I was disappointed to find that it lacked both taste and spices. The GhanbarPolo was also quite average. The drinks and yogurt were overpriced considering the small portions. To top it all off, we found it funny that we had to pay before eating—an odd policy for such a supposedly luxurious establishment. It's not like we were planning on running away without paying!

A must-visit in Shiraz! Parhami Traditional House serves the best local dishes like Kalam Polo, Kate Gojeh, and Ghambar Polo—authentic, flavorful, and unforgettable. Their Sharbat-e Ablimoo and Bahar Narenj are incredibly refreshing. What makes it extra special is the hospitality of Soroush and Sara, the lovely couple behind this gem. A perfect blend of taste, tradition, and warmth!

The food was bad. I don't know what they had in the food, my friend and I were thirsty and sick to our stomachs all day. They had good yogurt, but the food is not recommended. I got diarrhea in the evening

They are one or 1st modern cafes in Shiraz .. and this is the 2nd branch.. coffee is so good.. cakes and sweet menu is so good also.. big space and many chairs.. it’s able to set in or out .. Only note : they should keep toilet clean .. because it was horrible.. and no follow up .. definitely females suffering with this toilet!!

I love the cafe, vibes, and of course the coffee. If you want to try high quality tasty coffee in Shiraz, you should definitely go there. Pastry and food is good but not perfect. Overall, it's recommended.

The entrance of the cafe was strange and I didn't think it was a cafe behind the walls. When I entered the cafe, due to the old look of the cafe and the unprofessional paint on the ceiling and walls, I didn't expect good food at all, but the food was really good and healthy. I recommend quinoa salad especially for athletes and people who are on a diet. The quinoa salad was a rich source of protein and was really delicious. The chicken and pesto sandwich was also very delicious. I loved it.

The place is very small, it is mostly outside sitting. Staff is friendly, and the food is well made. Having said that, they really charge a lot considering that they dont have a nice atmosphere, but a mediocre one

I recommend you not to go there without a reservation specially at weekends, otherwise you have to waste a remarkable time for a table. We had a Greek salad and a panini, both were good with fresh ingredients, meanwhile I bothered a lot beacuse of the bad odor which was from the sewage entrance located just near our table as we were sitting outside the cafe (FYI Ferdowsi is a pavement café).

The breakfast tasted great, and the preparation time was reasonable. The music was nice, but the staff’s attitude wasn’t particularly hospitable. Pancakes were listed on the menu, but we were told they had been removed and were no longer available. We ordered the spinach and turkey gondola, which was perfectly portioned for two people. The lemonade tasted like lemon juice syrup with soda, which we enjoyed and found delicious. Another drink we tried was the Red Fresh Iced Tea (lemongrass, lavender, honey, hibiscus, strawberry), which had a pleasant, mellow flavor. Overall, it was a good experience.

Hedayat Cafe is awesome. It's always a good and reliable option for enjoying a great meal and relaxing. Their pizza is excellent. the dough always surprises me. it makes me want to hug it! For breakfast, I highly recommend the Khachapuri.

This place is getting to be like a nostalgia. Now they are beyond being only a cafe and they serve delicious foods. Tried the pizza and pasta, and was quite happy with what we ordered.

I visited Café Hedayat in Shiraz back in December 2024, and it quickly became one of my all-time favorite cafés. The vibe is cozy and aesthetically designed, with dim lighting, comfy sofas, and a calm, intimate feel. It’s also super clean and well-maintained. The staff were incredibly kind and respectful, and even though the place was busy, service was fast and smooth. Just make sure to reserve ahead, especially for brunch! We had the cheese & mushroom frittata, turkey-spinach gondola, and a German pancake with caramelized apples — all were absolutely delicious. Dinner was just as impressive with their Lasagna Bolognese, Margherita pizza and Prosciutto pizza. Everything looked and tasted amazing. With a creative menu, fair prices, and a truly warm atmosphere, Café Hedayat is a place I’ll keep coming back to whenever I’m in Shiraz. Highly recommended!

Service was pretty good, a couple of waiters and the cashier spoke very good English. It was a bit confusing when I first stepped in the restaurant as no one greeted me until I grabbed someone. They have an English menu, and I supposed prices are the same as what locals pay. The waiter presented pictures of the dishes to me on an iPad, and it was pretty helpful. The food was decent, a few pieces of the lamb chops were slightly overcooked, but generally pretty tasty. Rice came with a small piece of butter, it was a really good addition to the dish. Overall, I’d say the food’s a bit dry as it was served without any sauces whatsoever, but it seems like they did it the traditional way, so nothing really to complain about either. It gets pricey if you opt for a “fancier” dish, but generally I think it’s quite decent, other basic kebab dishes were like 3 to 5 million riyals.

It's relatively a good restaurant in the historical centre of Shiraz, right at the entrance of the Vakil mosque. The menu consists of traditional Iranian dishes. The food is decent, though no exceptional. I had mushroom soup and barg kebab. The soup was tasteless, and I needed a lot of salt and pepper to add some flavour. The kebab was fine. The service is OK, but as is the case with many other restaurants I have visited in Shiraz, the attitude of the personnel is rather dry. They have live music on the lower floor. It's slightly overpriced as well.

Not good I'm afraid. I ordered 'Tah Chin (Chicken)' but it was just acceptable. They didn't have 'the local Dough' which is kinda weird, and there was no background music. Not recommended!

It felt as if they were doing me a favor by serving me. They lacked basic courtesy and failed to address my concerns when I raised them. Moreover, the atmosphere of the restaurant was underwhelming. The ambiance was dull and uninviting, which further added to my overall dissatisfaction. I highly advise fellow tourists to avoid Sharze Restaurant during their visit to Shiraz. There are plenty of other dining options available that offer better quality food, attentive service, and a pleasant atmosphere. It's disheartening to see a place with such potential fall short in every aspect. I hope my review serves as a helpful warning to others, allowing them to make more informed choices when it comes to dining in Shiraz.

🍛Food → We ordered Aloo Polo and Ghalyeh Mahi. The Aloo Polo came with rice, meat, and chips. We liked it, but it was just fine overall. The Ghalyeh Mahi had fish with a bad odor, and we didn’t like it. We also ordered Doogh — it was cold, delicious, and served in a large portion. 🧍‍♂️Staff → They were unpleasant and did not take the order quickly. We tried to change our menu just one minute after ordering, but they said we couldn’t, which was disappointing. 🎶Decor and atmosphere → The restaurant has an ancient-style design, and the live music was lovely. However, the lighting was too dim. 🛎Service → They brought our food very quickly, which was nice. But as soon as we finished, they cleared everything without even asking for permission, even though the restaurant wasn’t crowded. That felt rude.

I enjoyed the live music and traditional ambiance, the staff was friendly, and the food was good. However, I was slightly disappointed as I expected the Kalam Polo to be better since that was the main reason for my visit.

I was recommended this place by a couple of taxi drivers. The atmosphere is great and the space is very unique and traditional reminder for lunch, and there was a live music which was fantastic. I tried the Kalam Polo (authentic Shirazi dish) which was very flavourful a nice. I also had the sour beef kebab, which was a bit tough and dry. The price is very reasonable. If you want to have an authentic experience it’s a good place to try.

Usher couldn’t take a joke making it awkward. Salad images in the menu not scale compared to main course dishes making you think it’s larger than what they really are. Food quality acceptable. No live music when I went there but there is a stage for it.

Food: It was very tasteless and cold, and the desserts did not taste good and were long overdue for preparation. Restaurant environment: It is beautiful in terms of traditional design, the space of the hall is very small and the tables are very close to each other and it is very difficult to move around. In this environment with a low ceiling and poor ventilation, hookah is also served, which creates a heavy atmosphere. The environment is very unsanitary. Next to the bathroom, there is a bread oven where hot bread is prepared. The bathroom is also extremely dirty and unsanitary. Staff: They try to add items to orders without the customer's knowledge. The behavior of the staff is very disrespectful, especially some of the salon owners and cashiers who speak to customers with vulgar words and sexual jokes and it is quite obvious that they are under the influence of drugs.

It was a nice experience overall. The food was pretty good, we had a local specialty called Dizi with bread. The bread was freshly made inside the restaurant, it was the best bread we had in Iran. Service was good, they were always around in case we needed help.

Ordered steak and was hoping it looked like one of the review photos. It didn't, but it was still very good. Was a bit disappointed that the listed potato didn't come with the meal because they had run out. Still giving 5 stars because when the bill came I had a brain fade and did a mental calculation that I didn't have enough cash on me (I did, by 7 times over the amount of the bill). They were kind enough to trust me to go back to the hotel and return with enough cash. Given the upscale nature of the place, the dinner was actually very reasonably priced.

It has been a great discovery for us. The meal and drinks are very good and also the people that work’s on it is very kind and nice. If you are in Shiraz we really recommend this place to spend some of your time relaxing with good views.

Terrible service and staff. They missed to communicate our order to the kitchen, after 45 mins of waiting they got our order tracked and after an hour we got our order, they were unapologetic and rude about it too. Plates were all dirty. They brought the order without having the right side dishes. We had to do lots of back and forths to get our basic order delivered.

We had an amazing 1-week stay at Hotel Zandiyeh. Best personnel ever. Very polite and respectful. Room services are great. Everything was perfect. Restaurants was great and served amazing foods. Variety of breakfast options was fabulous. The hotel’s location is perfect and has walking distance to Zandiyeh Complex. I highly recommend this hotel if you are visiting Shiraz.

Had a reservation issue and the staff were extremely unhelpful. Made a reservation for a two beds for two, the hotel was claiming that it was a two beds for one even though my reservation clearly had the names of two guest. They wanted to charge me almost double the amount. I had to leave and find another hotel at midnight. Very bad service and unaccommodating manager.

Excellent Hotel, very friendly and helpful staff, great food and so close and walkable to most historical places, just a few meters away from Arg of Karim Khan or the Boulevard or many other sites. Great food, especially the Kebabs. Recommended.

We had a pleasant stay in this beautiful hotel. Hotel Homa is a great choice for several reasons: -There is a lot of parking place. -The area of hotel is perfect and you can enjoy flowers and plants. -Rooms are quiet and clean. -Staff is super friendly and will help you to have a nice trip. -Breakfast is average but complete. -There is good access to historical and famous places of Shiraz. To sum it up, if you want to have a good stay in 5-star hotel, Homa is a good choice, unless you want to pay more.

I have been used to stay at this hotel for several times. Unfortunstely the quality of breakfast was not same as before. I was there for 2 nights, 10 and 11 March 2024. Other services were reasonable. The lobby is very nice and the staff are polite. The garden is very nice as well.

me and my mom stayed 3 nights here, every one was polite and helping except for some of the restaurant staff whom were asking so many questions like were did you come from and how old are you!!!! they were like trying to flirt with every group of female guests... the location was in a calm part of the city. but far from the historical places. the breakfast was below average to me. but i think its the best hotel in Shiraz you could find... like theres no better choice...

Clean, tidy and COVID-friendly hotel. Kind and nice staff members. Good experience we had. Just one thing, not sure how much hotel can influence, was the very noisy nights, predominantly due to the parties/conferences around the hotel. Overall, we enjoyed our time in this hotel and I thank all the staff.

Good cafe with good food quality and very reasonable prices. Their decoration is original and attractive. A proper place to eat a light meal before or after watching a film at cinema. The staff are polite and welcoming. But they offer average coffee which is not unexpected in the country.

One of the top cafés in Shiraz. I've tried the salad with meat, and some pizzas in the 2nd branch. The taste of their food is really good! Absolutely recommended! Reef'n beef is awesome! Unbelievably delicious!

I would have given a zero but unfortunately it’s not an option. The behavior is utterly offensive. After accepting our order second to the one standing behind us, the cashier managed to take our order in the wrong way. When we told the manager what happened not only did he not apologize but he responded in such rude manner that I have never seen before. So the staff including the manager are so disappointing that it doesn’t even worth to try the food. Don’t bother they either will take your order wrong or not at all and then after 30-40 minutes waiting you will realize that it was for something you didn’t even order and guess what, they don’t even care.

We had some different dishes such as pasta, chicken stroganoff and 2 sandwiches. That pasta was awful and its cream had sour taste. The stroganoff was terrible too, the sandwiches and fries was ok. Totally I will never go there again.

I visited this restaurant during my stay in shiraz per one of my family member recommendation as she mentioned its has the best pizza in town and i shall say it didnt dissapoint at all. Its a classy restaurant with variety of italian pizzas, steak and quite a few other delicious cuisines, excellent decoration in both floor and well trained staff whom are very helpful and polite. I definately recommend this place to everyone, specially tourists who want to taste a very tasteful western dish rather than local ones. Enjoy.

The house was built by Mr Emtiaz, a businessman, as his workplace. Later this house turned into a cafe and was known as Dash Akol cafe. It has been recently renovated and turned into Zarnegar restaurant. Food is excellent, a little expensive And try the drink called Dough in persian or Iran or Ayran as turkish call it. ( a drink based on yogurt)

This place was like stepping into a dream. The ancient Persian house, complete with indoor courtyard, fountains, and roof terrace with a view of the mountains and old city, was tastefully restored. My room had ancient painted tiles in the bathroom and a beautiful 4 poster bed and antique Iranian objects. I liked the location in the heart of the old city where I was able to roam at my leisure and felt very safe despite being alone. I liked the staff, always smiling and gracious, and the food served on the terrace in a covered patio. I highly recommend it if you want to experience authentic Persian heritage and lovely people.

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights and loved our experience there. The hotel is a beautiful traditional house but the rooms (which are also beautiful) offer the comfort of a modern hotel. The staff is extremely friendly. Breakfast is simple but delicious. We also had dinner twice there, food was great (with more options than just the traditional kababs) and inexpensive. Dinner can be taken either in the courtyard or on the rooftop which offers a nice view over the city. After 5 trips to Iran and multiple hotels tested, the House of Elephants is definitely one of the best place I’ve stayed at.

This café is located inside the Grand Hotel of Shiraz. We stopped by for some tea and cake, mostly to relax and enjoy a change of scenery — and it definitely delivered on that. We spent about an hour sitting outside, enjoying a beautiful city view. The vibe was peaceful and the service was friendly and attentive. The breakfast area had large windows that provided a great view of the city. Most tourist attractions required a taxi ride but we could walk to Quran gate and the tomb of Hafez. There were a few nearby restaurants. On the 2nd floor they had an indoor playground which my child took full advantage. One of us got a massage here and were quite happy with the service. The hotel also arranged for a car service to take us for a day tour of Persepolis, Pasargad and Naqshe-Rostam. There were car has air conditioning, which is an absolute must in warm weather. The beds were comfortable. We had dinner one night in the panoramic restaurant and it was okay not overly memorable except for the views of the city especially at night which were amazing. In overall I would recommend this hotel especially if you have young children.

Excellent atmosphere at night. After the visit of the market ( hence extensive walking!), it is nice to sit down, gaze people and have a cup of coffee and tea. With four of us, we tried various cakes and mountain tea. Wonderful place to chill! A must see bathroom!

I’ve been going to Joulep for years, and I keep coming back. The last time I went was on September 6, 2025, and not only was the food quality just as good, but we were also able to sit on the balcony and enjoy the dreamy atmosphere from a fresh perspective. I love this place and will definitely be back again.

The Joulep Bistro overlooks the historical Vakil Mosque (Lawyer Mosque). The surroundings are the nicest you'll see in all of Shiraz. The shops are modern with a Midwestern mountain flare (if you're familiar with the US). They sell Qashqai items there. The bistro itself has amazing music and a great menu of food items. On hotter days, I'd recommend the ab doogh khiar mast. Great for people watching and a must-see when you're in Shiraz.

This is ideally located at one end of central place with an overview of Vakil mosque and hustling bustling place. It's on 2 min walk from Vakil Bath house. The staff is very friendly . The lunch and dinner menue is a bit limited and seems more veg oriented. They have good breakfast options as well. But highlight is their signature drinks and sweats. We tried the tea with Istanbul baklava and it was great. Overall a good experience. They usually have no place so it's a good idea to have reservation pre hand as you come in evening and then come for dinner or lunch. I would recommend for an evening or breakfast.

First I used the vending machine to get a coffee which didn't work. I was refined and ordered a usual coffee. And I was late for my class. She was very friendly and nice but wasted my time and I didn't get a heck of a coffee :/

The service is awful! They kept us waiting for like half an hour just to take our orders and then they took an hour to bring us our orders which were 3 cups of tea and 3 cake slices !! The cake was not fresh and it looked like it was from days ago which they didn't warn us about it! And worst of all when we complained to their manager, they were very rude and not professional at all! There are many good cafes in this beautiful area but Mahooni cafe is not one of them. Don't waste your time and money here!

This place has a contemporary atmosphere. It seems to be aimed at a young and/or tourist audience. There is a piano apparently sometimes with live music. The tea was very good. A nice place to take a break when walking from town to the Quran gate or Hafez tomb.

For a change, in Iran, the pasta was not under- or overcooked and extremely delicious! The "cheese fries" dish is very American (Taco Bell could serve it) and something you have to like: potato chips, chicken or meat, topped with molten cheese and ketchup. Coffees are spectacular and young, hip Iranians come here to sip them uninterrupted in the air conditioning. The decor is nice and relaxing with unobtrusive western music (mainly piano concerto's upstairs and something more active downstairs). Comes also with a western toilet as well as a VIP-lounge for bigger groups.

We ordered a sour drink, they suggested Phoenix and Red Mojito, and the drink that was brought had no taste, they said it had pieces of fruit, which he didn't have. The pasta was very unsalted. Don't bother coming here. Cafe wasn't crowded but we were told we had to wait 30 minutes for our food. It's now one hour later and the waiter has only just confirmed our order again - and also informed me there are no eggs for my omelette (he didn't know an hour ago?). A few angry customers here whose food has never arrived, and some have walked out after waiting 45 min in vain.

We were glad to recieve an English menu card until we discovered the prices on the Farsi language menu card were half of ours. This is a pure tourist trap that is unfair and dishonest. To avoid at all cost if you want your day not to be spoiled after having been stolen. Go away from the historical monuments to find only very honest merchants.

Be carefull with this place. They have two different menus for tourists (in english) and locals(in farsi) with different prices. Of course tourists pay a lot more for the same thing. When we confronted the waitress, she calmly said that they do that on purpose. The best part is that they even tried to charge us more than it was written on the english menu. Better avoid this place since it's a complete fraud.

Street Longue coffee shop is my favorite place to hang and do my works. I really like this place because it has a good ambiance and not too crowded as well. It has a small open area,too, where you can sit and chat with your friends without the dear of Corona. The coffee and pastries that they had were so delicious. The barista was so friendly and pleasant to talk with. One thing that I got fascinated by this place was that they had the most affordable and delicious coffee in town. The location is good too. It is located in a cozy area of a really crowded street.

I have visited this bar two times in the Nowrouz vacation and both times I didn't really like my orders. The first order was Hot chocolate, unfortunately it was too liquid. The second time I ordered two drinks and as the menu was too complicated I don't remember the names, they were delicious but didn't have enough quality as compared to their price

I went to Dakuma with a few friends of mine, and we had a very good time here. The staff were very friendly, and patiently described the food to us.
