My favourite part about that restaurant was their fur babies. They have 3 labrador and 1 golden retriever roaming around in their restaurant. All 4 pets are very friendly and adorable. The view was breathtaking. You get to have a sea view from your table. The owner Neville is a gem of a person who recommended us the best food we could have there. Service was top notch.

The place has a beautiful beach view with a cool breeze, and the overall ambience felt vintage and very pleasant. The food was tasty, especially the Goan special curries, and they also offered a variety of side dishes like breads, which was a nice touch. However, I did feel that the food was a little overpriced, and the service could be improved, as I felt slightly off with the way the staff attended. Still, overall, it was a good experience with great food and a lovely setting.

An absolute oasis of calm just a stone’s throw from the beach — and the best part? They have dogs. 🐾 The place was spotless, serene, and full of wagging tails. There was Chai — who took his sweet time sizing me up — but once he decided I was worthy, he turned into a furry shadow I couldn’t shake off. There were plenty of other dogs too… their names escape me (I blame the post-lunch siesta vibes). Neville, the host, clearly has an eye for the devils in the details — every little touch spoke of care and quiet precision. Service was everything Goa should be — prompt but unhurried, polite without being performative. That perfect susegad balance where no one rushes you, but you never feel forgotten either. Yes, the food leans on the pricier side, but it more than makes up for it with generous portions and knockout flavor. All in all, it was a wonderful afternoon with friends reuniting after twenty-odd years — stories, laughter, and a few dog cuddles later, it felt like no time had passed at all. One of my favourite spots in Goa! The combination of the place, the people, and the food makes it worth visiting every time. The owner is incredibly kind and always has great recommendations. With direct beach access through the restaurant and a quaint, relaxed atmosphere, it’s the perfect spot to unwind with a cocktail and a great meal. I absolutely love this place.

Very good Owner is very nice, athletic and friendly. We spent 10K for 10 members Price are high due to the Caligunte beach ⛱️ which is ok Interesting: " you can do a push up challenge against the owner- if you beat him- you will get a free COCKTAIL 🍸 Which is good, by the why I lost to him at 39 Pushups where he did 45... this is fun Tropical Virgin is my fav favorite Chicken salad is lit Fish and sea food are best Great ambience

And upscale beach restaurant run by Neville and family. I would solely recommend Goan food here as it's the yummiest. I will suggest one to have their lip smacking soulful dishes like vegetable xacuti, steamed fish in banana leaf, goan prawn curry in coconut milk, and their desert serradura. The quantity is well balanced. I just loved the hospitality here. Very friendly and welcoming. One can open the gate of the property and wallah... you'll enter the beach.

Based on great reviews. I thought I'd enjoy a meal here. I ordered the vegetable chowmein. Which wasn't what I call chowmein. It was just boiled noddles with a horrid looking glueky tastless soup on top. After 2 weeks of eating fantastic food in India. This was the worst and biggest disappointment. This is THE shack on Calangute Beach - don’t bother with the rest. We spent a wonderful holiday here over Christmas. Every morning we’d leave our hotel and head to the beach. Aggie is an excellent host. Sun loungers were complimentary and our towels would be set out by the staff every morning in our favourite spot. We would stay all day, dining and drinking and usually spend less than £15 each - including 2 meals and many, many beers. The food was exceptionally good - Aggie even invited us to the kitchen to see dishes prepared. We had a whole variety of Goan cuisine, the highlights being freshly grilled red snapper, and prawn stuffed papads. But there were truly too many meals to mention. On Christmas Day we had a wonderful seafood platter with mudcrab, squid, pomfret, shark. Really wonderful. Coming here was the highlight of our holiday.

It would be true to say that most local beach shacks in this area survive on friendly Goan hospitality, a well stocked bar and varied menu but as blessed as I am to just finish a 3 week stay for Christmas and New Year in Goa on drifting along the beach one day I found these gorgeous people and promptly became a very regular fixture as Aggie and all of his team are quite simply part of the paradise of Calangute, Goa and are firmly placed here after 30 years of trading. What they do, they do really well! I felt like an additional part of the family within days. The chef here is seriously good! Bravo! I can only pay rightful compliments out here on the web for delicious blended spices and flavours of fresh fish, seafood and well balanced Goan curries. The menu is extensive with local specialities and regular favourites and most newly tried dishes I had were personally revisited... I cannot recommend this place enough as a backdrop to your beach day and hope that as the world returns to normal many loyal and new customers will seek you out making 2022 a year of prosperity. You absolutely deserve to thrive and thankyou all for making my long overdue return to Goa such a super time...you have created a 'must come back and soon' as a noted priority!

Superb place to relax and spent a day. There are sunbeds with the perfect view of sea, also its away from the crowd of calangute hence you can enjoy the calmness. The food here is really good especially prawns, crispy chicken, briyani, sandwiches. Lastly its not that expensive even and hence i highly recommend this place. Will surely visit again when in goa.

Aggies Cafe was introduced to me by my friend in 2019 and I came back here in 2021 . It is located on one of the cleaner parts of Calangute beach . The cafe offers high quality food ,chilled drinks and very good service . We sat on the beach shacks to relax and also enjoy the delicious food . Surely had a memorable experience here .

I visit here every year and its always not enough.... I get my own time n safe personal space to be just relax n spend my day watching beautiful sunset... Went here for an official evening out yesyersay night. The restaurant has a great beachfront location—peaceful, though a little away from the main shacks. Food was awesome and the service was equally good, really lived up to the reputation. The only downside was that Tuesday night felt a bit dull with no live music. Adding some entertainment would definitely enhance the vibe and make evenings more lively. Overall, a lovely place for good food, great service, and a nice seaside experience.

The food was just too delicious! We had pork ribs (delicious and properly cooked), chicken cafreal skewers (very good), grilled chicken (chicken was good but mashed potatoes could have been better), prawns and chonak curry with buns and rice. In drinks we had kaju feni with limca it was perfect and whiskey sour with egg (just right) In sweet we had sera dura (delicious and tandout), bebinca (2 of us liked, other found just okay), caramel custard (just right) But the highlight we recommend is CRAB RECHADO….. damn that gravy or masala is to die for. Highly recommended . Just one thing crabs could have been bigger in size and more fresh. But no complaints because of that gravy🤤. Even the gravy of pork ribs were just too delicious. The restaurant they have kept it proper aesthetic. The beach view with karaoke at evening enhances the experience even further. I am definitely visiting again. Excellent restaurant!

Visited for dinner, after seeing the reviews. And was not disappointed at all. Good food and good ambience. Their craft beer too is good. Some idiotic shacks were playing music at very high volume which was disturbing. Toilets etc are clean. Butter garlic lobster should have been more juicy. Everything else was tasty.

Went here on 29th apr😅 just wanted to try so ordered prawns crispy chilli,roti & choclate mousse.it was 970 something including tax.prawns pieces were around 6-7/8 I'm not sure. But the taste m not lying 🤤🤤i still can feel it on my palate 🤩so people who like spicy food with spices it's a must try. Very calm and cozy view. If you go upstairs they have seating arrangements but we preferred to seat outside.washroom were upstairs which was clean.i think it was bit pricy🥲 but the taste was 9/10.

Walking into Souza Lobo after almost 6–7 years felt like stepping into a time capsule — back to the Calangute I remember from the early 2000s. Absolutely loved the experience at Fat Fish Goa! 🐟 The food was outstanding especially the Fish Thali, it’s one of the best I’ve had in Goa. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The ambience has a true Goan vibe, and the staff were super friendly and attentive. Totally worth the little walk to reach here — it’s a hidden gem for seafood lovers! 💙 Highly recommend: Fish Thali, Crab Curry, and Prawns Masala!

One of the best restaurants in North Goa to enjoy the authentic Goan thali. After having some disappointing food experiences in Goa we visited this place with so much hope and it was worth dining here. We had to wait for around 10 to 15 minutes to get the table. We ordered Tawa chicken fry, Garlic butter prawns and Fish thali and everything turned out amazingly tasty. Tawa chicken fry was spicy as required with the perfect crunch, and prawns were cooked perfectly but they were not that hot till they reached my table and Fish thali was heavenly. From fish fry to every other curry everything was soulful and truly satisfying my tummy and soul. Definitely, it's highly recommended and worth the hype. Service can be improved as it was very slow.

Great place for Goan food. Tried Chonok Rawa Fry and Roast Chicken Salad. Portion sizes were generous and the prices were reasonable. The ambience is pleasant and the servers are enthusiastic. A very nice experience. Definitely recommended for a leisurely meal. I was tempted to give it a 5-star rating, but settled on 4, because anything can be improved!

The Experience was amazing at The Fat Fish in Goa! The fish there was absolutely tasty along with the chilli cheken and praws. The atmosphere and ambience is super, with a private dining room and a lot of lights. The service was fast, and the staff was polite. So Every thing here was 5 stars!

My all-time favourite spot in Goa! I’ve never missed eating here on any of my trips. The food is absolutely delicious — the Goan fish thali is authentic and a must-try. Crabs, fish, mussels, and prawns are all fresh and perfectly cooked. You can choose your sauce — my favourites are the butter garlic and lemon butter garlic preparations. The crab sukka is simply yumm, and don’t miss the apple pie with ice cream 👌. To go with it, I usually pick a No.7 wine, a draught beer, or their own Fat Fish Wit beer. It gets quite crowded on weekends, so reach early. Fish thalis are limited, so if you want one, make sure to be there before 2 PM!

The restaurant is good ambience is good little bit costly. There is very little scope for veg of you have veg people. We went on weekend so there was 20 min waiting time. There are two fat fish side by side. First one towards vagator is good. They don't accept gpay or upi. Only cash are card are accepted.

Even it was a Saturday night the place was pretty much empty and also it looked dated from what we last visited 11 years back. This place is particularly famous fpr its breakfast but we decided to give it a try for dinner. The food and service was good. On live music days it must be getting very loud to have an conversation which was not the case during our visit.

We ordered chicken cafreal, pork roast, and ros omlette. Chicken cafreal was good. The pork roast was ok. The pork tasted a bit strong, but we haven't had pork in India before, so maybe that's how it tastes here. Ros omlette was really good too, but I didn't see any chicken in ros omlette. I have had chicken in the ros every time I have had it before. The poiee was soft, fresh and fluffy. The food was better than some of the other places we have tried. The server - Ranjan was very attentive and we had a good service. I would rate the service 5/5 because I have noticed that the servers in most goan restaurants are indifferent to the customers and don't bother paying attention until called.

We chose this place seeing the high ratings on Google, but after visiting, I understood how they got them. They offer discounts or free items if you like their page/share on Instagram. That’s their hack. Now about the food, I’m a big foodie, and so is my family. We try local cuisines everywhere we go. But here, apart from one item, everything was a disaster. • Cinnamon roll: Only saving grace. Soft, fresh, and very good. • Hot chocolate: The hot chocolate we actually ordered was served cold, not even lukewarm. When I asked them to make it hot, they microwaved it, and the glass came back too hot to even hold. • Water: We first asked for water, and they brought mineral water. When we said we don’t want bottled, just regular water, the elderly staff member who was taking order, frowned, raised his eyebrows, and in a rude tone asked, “So you want tap water?” Never in our lives has anyone asked like this when we requested regular drinking water in a restaurant. I said, I don’t know what you mean by that but we need regular drinking water. He later brought two glasses and placed them on the table with a loud thud. • Grilled chicken burger: The chicken patty was thinner than the cucumber slice inside. Tasteless, had to sprinkle salt just to eat it. Attcahed is the pic. • Goan fish curry combo: Curry was okay, but the fried fish had zero salt. Absolutely bland. On top of this, there’s no ambience at all. Very hot, because it’s in open space, looked like parking area converted to restaurant. Except for the cinnamon roll, the food was pathetic. Everything lacked taste and quality. If you genuinely love food, please don’t waste your time or money here. The ratings are misleading, they are built on freebies for Instagram tags, not real food quality.

Café Infantaria is a must-visit spot in Goa! The food is amazing, and their bakery items are truly fresh and delicious. Loved the burger, with fresh bread, great service, a bit pricy place but good quality food. This place has been here for the last 30+ years, run by a Goan and maintained the quality of food. Would definitely go here again. Better to find a parking nearby and walk to this place.

It is a cozy spot with a very aesthetic vibe :-) We tried their Red Sauce Pasta and Lebanese platter, both of which were incredibly flavorful. The pasta was a standout. Their cocktail menu is impressive, and the Lemon Ice is a refreshing must-try. While the portion sizes might be smaller than expected, the quality of the food more than makes up for it.

Great ambience and an interesting menu, but food portions and taste do not match the menu description or the price. Service is slow. The pastas are average. Most shockingly, for a place serving Italian food, they're out of stock for bread.

One of those places that try to act fancy by treating their customers badly, really ruined our night. I had a headache and asked the manager to reduce the volume a little which he denied even though there was almost no one else at the restaurant, They could have easily accommodated us. Service was slow, there were mosquitoes and the risotto I had was as good as I’ve had at any other place. Wouldn’t recommend. Small portions, high prices. Don’t understand why was the vegetarian section so much more expensive than the non veg options, but yeah goes on brand with the bougie attitude.

I especially liked the atmosphere and music. During off-season the place isn't very busy but still very enjoyable if you like it a bit less crowded. I only had a starter but it was plenty, especially with the garlic bread served as a side dish. During elections the bar is closed and you can't get any alcoholic drinks.

We visited this restaurant after going through a few positive reviews. Firstly, I have to mention about the ambience. Looks very posh, very classy, perfect colour combinations. The pricing is a little on the higher side but the presentation was like the MasterChef dishes. No AC, outer seating. A huge let down is the mosquitos because of the natural plants. Each dish has a philosophy behind it and is presented as a reflection of their philosophy. We ordered Pasta (both Alfredo and pink sauce), omelette and garlic bread and Coffeholics anonymous for dessert. Each dish tasted great. No complaints for the price we paid. However, for a restaurant so stunning, the waiters were not that great. They were lost in their own world, and we had to return the dish back to the kitchen. But the singer that day, was awesome and just transported us to a whole new world.

From the outside, Spicy Bella might look like any other Italian restaurant in town. But trust me, the service that you will experience is like no other restaurant. We were in awe by the hospitality provided by Chef Verma. At first, we got confused by the selection of Pastas on the menu. But the chef spent time explaining every little detail about the types of pasta and the sauces it would come with. We ordered almost all the pasta dishes listed in the menu. The service was a tad bit slow, but that is understandable because of the size of our order. The server accidentally bought the wrong order at first, but chef Verma was kind enough to put that on the house. Highly recommended if you are in an around Calangute. Tripadvisor bought me here as it was the highest-rated Italian restaurant in Goa. But when we reached there we saw that their menu was much more extensive. Would love to go back and try other cuisines the chef has to offer.

Myself and my husband returned here this year after finding this golden place last year. I can positively say we were not disappointed. We would go as far to say that this is our favourite restaurant in the world. We were utterly impressed with every single thing during our dining experience. The staff are amazing and so attentive. Nothing is ever too much of an ask for them. Their food is absolutely delicious. The value for money here is next to none. We are here in Goa for one week and whilst visiting on our second night we have already booked to visit again on our last and final night. Ending our holiday with a high as we know it at Amavi. We would recommend this restaurant to anybody who we knew were visiting north Goa. Well done to all staff who work at Amavi by Sumera.

Our whole experience here was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we walked in, everyone was so welcoming and kind. The staff were incredibly patient while answering all our (many) questions about the menu and were always right there when we needed something without ever hovering. The food was absolutely delicious — you can really tell it’s made with care and fresh ingredients. Every dish that came out was even better than the last. The owner came by to check on us, which was such a sweet and personal touch. You could tell she genuinely cared that we were happy and enjoying everything. It’s rare to find a place where both the service and food are this consistently great, but this restaurant nails it. We left so full and happy, already talking about when we’ll be back. Easily a five-star experience all around.

Amavi is a wonderful place to dine, especially for their delicious chicken dishes. Our family loves the mushroom soup, my brother’s favorite is the Goan Chorize Stuffed Chicken Breast and my dad enjoys the Anise & Ginger Chicken Breast. I loved the pasta - they customized it perfectly to my taste keeping in mind I am lactose intolerant. The ambience is great and the staff is attentive, ensuring quick service. The only suggestion would be to improve the parking, as it can be a bit tricky at times.

This restaurant is a definite must visit if you’re staying in north Goa. Beautiful setting with excellent staff and lovely food. Everything we ordered was delicious and cooked to perfection, a fine dining experience without the usual hefty price tag 😁

Wow, an amazing restaurant. The food is exceptional. The staff so friendly, courteous and kind. I can honestly say this is one of the best restaurants I have EVER eaten in. We will return many times on this holiday and on future trips to Goa. As an update we have returned again tonight. We asked for a dish of cauliflower cheese to complement our steak which the chef accommodated. This is an honest review of a fantastic first class restaurant. Thank you Amavi by Sumera. Update: Went to Amavi again after almost 5 years and so glad we did! This place is truly a hidden gem with warm and courteous service and such delicious food! Hands down one of our favourite places to eat when in Goa! Will be coming back again! . . . Had a lovely experience at Amavi! The chef was great and asked us all how we would like our food to be and the service was great too and the food was so well presented and tasty. Amavi offers an amazing dinning experience Goa . The food here is amazing and a real star of the show… The orange peel cocktail is absolutely delicious!! The chicken dishes are a must try. I ate at probably one of the most authentic Goan Cafe Susgado! I had the Calamari Goan Masala, Buff Chilly Fry and Chorizo Pao!! The place has very vintage vibes. The food is absolutely fresh and delicious. My cousins from Bangalore absolutely loved the food too. I highly recommend this place for anyone who wishes to experience Goan food in the city.

My first experience here was Tremendous. The service is fabulous. Special mention for the Pork Roast. I had 3 orders in a single seating, because of how good it was.

I went here based on the high rating but was hugely disappointed. We had the fish n chips and it was really bad. There was hardly any fish in it, it was mostly just batter with a very thin layer of basa fish. The taste was just that of the batter!

We got chicken cafreal and chicken sukkem. Cafreal was the best one I have had so far (this is my 6th time in goa). The chapati was super soft and we had allebelle for dessert which had balanced flavors.

I had a wonderful experience at Sussegado Restaurant. We tried the Cheese Balls, Mushroom Bardez with Parota, Prawns Cafreal with Poe, and the refreshing Mango Bloom Mojito. Every dish was flavorful and perfectly prepared, but the highlight for me was the Prawns Cafreal—the prawns were cooked to perfection with no unwanted smell and a rich, authentic taste. The service was equally impressive. Mr. Katu, Mr. Arif (the manager), and the rest of the staff were extremely friendly, attentive, and helpful, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. Overall, Sussegado is a must-visit for anyone who wants delicious Goan food with warm hospitality. Highly recommended!

U get 5 stars buddy! In the midst of few costly seafood restaurants in candolim, cafe sussegado gives you seafood with reasonable price. Taste is no compromise for seafood category. Believe me, we had rawa fried prawns, crab curry, rice, bibinca icecream all for 1300.... Awesome experience, fast service and genuine taste. Phir se aayega bro!

We were very hungry after a long day on the road in Goa, and we heard of this place being good for seafood and offering vegetarian meals. It was placed on a beach, which was a tourist attraction, but was slightly dirtier than other beaches I’ve visited. The seafood, especially the Goan fish curry and the seafood pasta, was delicious, definitely worth a try. The mushroom pasta and other vegetarian dishes were great. If I had one specific critique, it was that the seating area was a bit too sandy.

Lovely place by the Baga beach with all the hustle buslte!! Cool interior and lots of space 😎 Food is good 👍🏻 Coffee is served in cups and tea is served in mugs! The service was prompt and the servers were able to explain the contents clearly. Washrooms are available however parking can be an issue as the road is narrow and one will have to park on the common beach parking. Using Wheelchair can be a bit tricky as the floor is all sand.

Britto's Restaurant is located at Baga Beach is one of the oldest shack with amazing food and great service and atmosphere. There is no special parking for the restaurant, so you will need to use the Pay & Park service at the Baga Beach. Fish Finger: decent quantity, good taste Baked Crabs: served with french fries and sprouts and corn salad - good for seafood lovers.

Food is simply amazing here. The staff is very polite and courteous. The view of the Baga Beach is very nice. Nice music and not too loud. We tried Fish Fingers, Pork Chilli Fry & Tiger Prawns Platter which was recommended by the Server which we thoroughly enjoyed. The Pull me Up Cake here is a must try and highly recommended as well. Will definitely visit again next time we are in Goa.

A great beach side restraunt with great views. The food has authentic taste and lives up to its price. Fish items are fresh. Kokum was great. Mr Das our waiter a fellow bengali was very welcoming to us and helped elevate our experience at the restraunt.

I tried many dishes here - the pork vindaloo and butter garlic prawns were nice, but everything else felt very average. The food is on the expensive side and honestly not worth the price.

Nice place to visit if you are in this area. They have outdoor seating as well as indoor seating with aircon which seems a must in October heat. All the dishes we tried were very good. The sweet corn soup was nice . The hummus and veg spring rolls were superb. The prawn curry rice was excellent. A very different and great taste . Apple pie was nice . Service was excellent and prompt.

We went here to celebrate my brother's birthday after reading that this place has got that vibe & all but in actuality, it was nothing like that and the overall vibe was very thanda thanda. After consulting with the staff we have ordered Goan chicken fry, Kingfish fry in Goan style and chicken fried rice. The chicken fry was good which was spicy, tangy and served along with Goan Poi. We didn't like the kingfish fry as it was not the fry we expected, we thought it would be served as rava fried. The chicken fried rice was bad, it didn't satisfy our taste buds as it was more on the sweeter side. The main reason to visit here was to get those vibes that were missed and the food was okay okayish.

Went on vacation during a great time (off season), the restaurant was not at its peak hour and we enjoyed the entire meal. Food was pretty good, especially the Goan sausage Poi. I am sure to visit this restaurant whenever I am in Goa next. Can’t tell much about the atmosphere since it was day time, but loved the look of the place.

Since last 3 days was on search for a amazing coffee and some good chocolates. And finally my search ended here at The Chocolate Room, Calangute. Enjoyed a great black coffee and delicious Chocolate. And my friend enjoyed a cappuccino. The service and staff both are really nice. Must visit.

Does not live upto the brand name of Chocolate room. The chocolate seems like synthetic flavour and not an authentic chocolate flavour. We had chocolate brownie which was stale and they replaced it however it lacked taste. The hot chocolate is not very great. Better to skip this place!

We visited this place for dessert after dinner. We tried the Sundae which was very good. It was a true paradise for a chocolate lover. The presentation of the desert too was very nice. What surprised me about the place is that they do not accept credit cards. For a place of this grade it's really not acceptable to not have arrangements to accept payments through credit cards.

Food is good but the walls and ceiling are filthy with mould and rot. This place needs to be shut down and renovated. It’s a health hazard. I had a chocolate cake that I didn’t finish and asked them to parcel it. They wrapped it up for me while I paid, but they didn’t give it to me. I got busy with a phone call and sat there for another 5 minutes while the 2 guys stared at me. When I was leaving I forgot the cake but I said thank you to them and neither one of them reminded me to take my cake. I parked in front of the store and was there for a few more minutes and neither of them had the courtesy to bring it to me. Of course it’s my fault that I forgot, but what’s wrong with these guys that they couldn’t do their job and give it to me? Did they think that was funny? Instead they stood there and stared at me the whole time.

Perfect place to take rest from beach noice and crowd. Rates are minimal. It costed around 750₹ for us. Just cafe is slightly warm.

Well ! Yummy tasty and with lots of options! We went there specially for deserts around 12 am midnight and I had no clue that I’ll be getting confused what to order by looking at so many tempting options they have it. I’m sure all the deserts must be yummy the way they have given description about each deserts and dish at the bottom. Ambience is good, family and young crowd, service is good and offcourse I had the yummiest desert. Will surely visit again to try out new deserts. Best part is this Place is open till 2 am! For our group this restaurant came as blessing in disguise. We were looking for a pizza restaurant serving halaal chicken and luckily we found the best in the town. The show stopper Mateen Bhai welcomed us with great hospitality and suggested his dishes considering our taste buds and trust me everything on the table was lip smacking tasty. We went there twice, once for lunch and then for dinner. We had their pizzas, pastas, starters (Try their chic wings, chic drumstick, chic pocket) you will surely order one more round. Best part is that they use their own homemade spicies so there is a sort of unique taste in every dish. Keep us the good work. Wish I visit you guys often.

Perfect place around Calangute with a perfect vibe and mouth watering snacks. Amongst the hustle of crowded beaches around, this place stands out with its cozy ambiance and delicious food. The interiors were just fantastic. Expect some waiting time as mostly it's crowded, but must have a go if you're looking for a perfect time with your friends and dear ones..

We had the veg pizza. It was super tasty. The owner is very friendly. It was pouring when we reached the restaurant, owner came out himself to show us way to park the car. It was owners birthday that day the staff was celebrating cutting cake. It all had very happy vibes. 😊 Will definitely go here again when I'm in Goa next time.

We tried their Wood fired Margherita Pizza, Barbeque Wings and Red Sauce Pasta alongwith a Pinã Colada and LIIT. The Pizza was super thin and crunchy with cheese being ample but the tomato/marinara sauce could've been a lot better as we could taste uncooked tomatoes. The Barbeque Wings were asked to be made spicy and they did deliver on that. The quantity of the wings was sufficient for one person to gorge on. The pasta was average and had no distinct flavour to it and could have used more sauces and seasoning. The cocktails were nice and coupled with the loud music and dim lighting, they did bring on a slight buzz. They have a pool table (chargeable) and games to play if you want to while some time away. The restaurant has some parking space out front but it can get jumbled and jammed at times. It's a nice joint but has the potential to be a lot better.

Pulled up to this cozy lil' café with the friends for some wood fire Royal Pizza, vibes were on point 🔥👑🍕 Ambiance was chill, perfect spot to kick it and catch up. Was there in June this year. We had gone for a dinner after reading the reviews. Must say it was a marvelous decision to come here. Great atmosphere, very lively and youthful vibes. We ordered veg and chicken pizzas and great drinks to go with it. Simply enjoyed the delicious food sitting for hours together. Every bite was so full of taste and flavour. Had a meal here last Sunday we really enjoyed it and mentioned we'd be back on Friday as it's our wedding anniversary. We went back tonight (Friday), and to our astonishment, our table was filled with rose petals and balloons on the chairs. It was so special. The food, to say the least, was beautiful again. Once finished after the most attentive service we asked for the bill we noticed the staff sorting something out for someone assuming it was for someone else, until chef himself came to us with a fabulous chocolate cake with Happy Anniversary on it! It was a gorgeous chocolate cake! We can not thank the staff enough for an absolutely amazing evening for the anniversary. They made it so special! Thank you to all the staff and chef himself.

Welcomed with such warmth, all the staff were so attentive and friendly. The chef's son is a great host and welcomed us at our table. The food was fantastic and fresh. Would recommend the rum and lemon Prawns starter. Main course portions were very generous, would suggest if choosing the lobster thermidor to share this as it generously comes with 2 sides and salad. During our meal we also had chef Soumyen himself come to our table to see how everything was. All in all we had a fantastic experience and would definitely come again.

The second night in Goa only 50yrds from our hotel. Tucked away in a little back street is this hidden gem of a restaurant. We were walk-ins and didn't book, but we got a table straight away. Lovely and spacious restaurant. Staff couldn't do enough for us. Very attentive. The food was some of the best we've had anywhere. Cocktails and drinks were great. I can highly recommend a trip here for food.

Chef Soumyen's Kitchen in Candolim is an absolute must-visit! At first the reviews seemed too good to be true but from the moment we walked in, the cozy, welcoming vibe of the place made us feel right at home. The food here is simply outstanding. Every dish we tried was bursting with flavour and beautifully presented – you can tell there’s so much care and thought behind each one. The pork chops were cooked to perfection with a delectable spicy sauce that the Chef very kindly made for us, and the desserts? Pure bliss! What really makes this place special is Chef Soumyen himself with whom we had a lovely and heart warming conversation. He always personally checks in with guests, and you can see how much passion he pours into every detail, from the menu to the service. It’s rare to find that kind of dedication these days. His son who greeted us was an absolute delight. The staff is very polite and kind as well and they add another layer of perfection to the already wonderful place. If you’re looking for a dining experience that’s a perfect mix of great food, a lovely atmosphere, and genuine hospitality, this is the place to be. We cannot recommend it enough!!!

Amazing experience from start to finish The personalization and the hospitality truly impressed us a lot. We were a group of 4 and had made a reservation prior to our arrival, upon our arrival we were welcomed by chef himself and his amazing team. One of us was vegan Chef also took care of that pretty well. Easily The Best Restaurant in Goa and it's a hidden gem for sure. Go visit it and definitely don't forget to try their Norwegian Salmon and Rum and Lemon Prawns.

Chill place that's been around forever. I've been going here since my college days. Try their prawns rachedo it's incredible. Golden fry calamari isn't bad either. They usually have some or the other karaoke scene going on if that's your jam. Alcohol is decently priced. Vibe is nice, you can chill on the beach and just enjoy your beer, they screen matches and stuff. The music from the shacks around is a little annoying but it's manageable either way.

Disappointed Experience at St. Antony’s Beach Shack, Baga I’ve been visiting St. Antony’s Beach Shack for years — probably more than 10 times — and always loved its vibe, music, and food. But this visit was truly disappointing. We were a large group of 14 couples who came to enjoy a lively evening with karaoke, but the person handling the karaoke setup was extremely rude and had a terrible attitude. Even though the manager did apologize, the experience left a bad taste and spoiled the mood for everyone. Hospitality and positive vibes are what Goa is all about — unfortunately, that spirit was missing this time. Hope the management takes this feedback seriously and ensures guests are treated with respect.

Went to this place for Dinner Date and we sit on a Beach side sitting. Sound was loud inside the bar so we preferred to sit outside. Most of the outside tables were occupied by the other customers and crowd was good. We started with 2 cocktails and a starter. One was Long Island Iced Tea and the other one was Planters Punch. LIIT was Okaish but Punch was good. We also ordered one veg starter and a seafood starter. Veg was Hara Paneer Tikka and Seafood was Chonak Masala Fry. Hara Paneer tikka was really good, flavourful and freshly prepared served along with Chutney and onion masala rings. First time tried Chonak fish in Goa was prepared in a red tangy masala which was so different and unique. I didn't like the taste atall but somehow managed to finish the fish. Their service was good but they should have to improve the food quality as per they were charging. There was one body massage guy came around our table and asking about foot massage. As my feets were paining I negotiated with him and he started giving me foot massage which was so relaxing for me and I really enjoyed that massage. Overall experience was okey as they are over priced and should improve their food quality.

This shack is right on the beach, you can enjoy live music and some awesome seafood with hukkah. Must visit. Don't miss butter garlic prawns and Kingfish fry, you will love it.

I visited an outlet in Goa called St. Anthony’s, where the server, Neeraj, provided a completely disappointing experience. Despite the bar being empty, the staff seemed too busy to pay attention, and no one was listening at all. I can now understand why Goa's hospitality is declining. Overall, a very disappointing visit.

After suffering from Delhi belly we opted to come here for some “normal” food, we then came back a few other times. The best dish was the pork belly, the worst being the lasagne which bared no resemblance to a lasagne! Service is friendly and the location is marvellous for watching the drama on the roundabout! The food whilst ok is not at the same level as the service or the restaurant decor. The vegetables are cooked to perfection though.

Located at cross roads of Baga Calangute, the restaurant provides multi cuisine options especially Italian and Indian. It has two floors with adequate seating. The bar is located at the ground floor. The food is good and services prompt. Lots of Indians and foreigners can be found in the restaurant especially in the evenings! Parking may be an issue for four wheelers. Overall recommended!

Had the pleasure of dining at Relish 3 times during our stay in Calangute. After our lovely breakfast, we spoke with John and his team about preparing a crab for us the following evening and could not have been happier. The flavours of each dish were excellent, the cocktails and wine were delightful, and the service and atmosphere were second to none. Thank you again for being excellent hosts to John and the staff at Relish. A must try for anyone looking for an outstanding dining experience.

Perfect place for a relaxing and unwinding evening. We went here for dinner on a weekday and were met with lovely service. The ambience is dim and the tables are candle lit. For starters I got the aubergine salad which might have been one of the most delicious dishes I’ve had , it was topped with honey and yogurt and was very light. The prawn curry is very well made, not too spicy and paired with rice and roti, satisfied my hunger. The dish fry was good too!! Served with a generous salad and fries, the crust was a little tough. The pasta was a bit of a letdown, it lacked flavour and richness. The dessert was perfect, a pancake with coconut sugar , “alle belle”. Would go back again just for it!.

It is so refreshing to experience wonderful food , great service and a local vibe that most new restaurants don’t have anymore. The bartender is excellent with the cocktails . He knows his drinks ! The food was impeccable. I ordered the fish tandoori , and it was tender , juicy , full of flavour and came with a nice balance of vegetables ! The beef steak was cooked exactly how I like it . One of the nicest steaks I’ve had in a long time! Thank you relish , I will be back soon !

Buy 2 get 1 beer free offer was a great start to dinner! We ordered the full chicken tikka and butter chicken with butter roti to share between 3 people. This was more than enough food and it all tasted delicious. The servers were attentive and food came out in a timely manner. They also offer shisha for around ₹800 for a single flavour. This went down well after our meal and had a lovely evening overall.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a fantastic experience. The rooms were spacious and well-maintained, with exceptional cleanliness standards that truly lived up to 5-star quality. The cafe had a fantastic atmosphere, and the food was delicious. Baga beach is only 5 minutes walk. Overall, I'd highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

It's a wonderful hotel in wonderful location the rooms are quite big food is good buffet breakfast is limited but they serve it with the full heart. The staff is very cooperative very polite rooms are clean spaces the poolside rooms our fantastic the swimming pool is well kept the water is clean. Wonderful place staying with Family & friends. Beach is just 5 mins walk. Other shops & restaurants are also nearby. The only part needs to Improve is Parking space .... though I didn't face any Issue but it can be Improved. Mr David the Manager is very Humble & ready to help if needed. Looking forward to stay there again.

My stay at De Baga was pathetic. The room was just average. None of the hotel staff knew how to treat customers. Hotel is all about serving the customers amd catering to their needs. But this place had no clue about it. The food at their restaurant was insanely poor. One of the dishes we ordered was too salty and when told to them, they were not even apologetic about it. They did replace the dish but it could have been handled differently. Overall, we had an extremely unpleasant stay and would not recommend this to anybody.

We tried the chicken biryani at the restaurant, finding it to be satisfactory. The flavors were mild, and it differed slightly from the usual biryani we're accustomed to. Additionally, the presence of egg in the dish was notable. The chicken dish I ordered was decent. I also sampled the khus sharbat, which provided a pleasant and refreshing accompaniment. Overall, the dining experience was satisfactory, with ample space and a pleasant ambiance.

Came here as the name quite famous in the state. Ordered Chicken Biryani, Chicken Kebab and a few mocktails. Biryani was okay. Kebab was 10/10. Mocktails had a very commercial syrup-y taste (I know most restaurants do make their mocktails from syrups but the syrup isn't overpower them). Also, liked the extras they give with the food like the pickled Onions and Chutneys. As expected the Ambience did feel royal. Top level cleanliness was maintained from the dining area to the washroom to the lobby. Prices are slightly higher but makes sense looking at the service they offer.

While the food at Delhi Darbaar is undeniably tasty, I have to say that I was disappointed with the prices. Everything on the menu seemed to be quite expensive, and I felt like I was paying a premium just for the atmosphere. Additionally, I was frustrated to find that they were charging more than the MRP on a simple water bottle. While I understand that restaurants need to make a profit, I don't think it's fair to overcharge customers for basic items like water. Overall, while the food was good, I don't think I'll be returning to Delhi Darbaar due to the high prices and questionable pricing practices.

This is a bit of a posh place in Goa. Usually restaurants are just a place to grab a bite this however offers different service. The prices are slightly higher. But service and food is pretty good. Their drinks are quite nice as well. So do visit if you are in Goa.

Achari chicken tikka : 350/- 2/5 ⭐ chicken was not perfectly cooked though ! Chicken bhuna masala w cheese garlic naan : 475/- & 150/- 4/5 ⭐ the combination was great , and flavours and aroma of bhuna chicken was worth trying it ! We also tried their Loaded nachos 4/5 ⭐ And chicken biryani 4/5 ⭐ The one thing everyone talked about which made me personally go there was the dessert that is ;. Chickoo ensemble : 300/- 4.5/5 ⭐ for sure the chickoos didn't disappoint ! Chickoo is anywhich ways my favourite , and added that to a dessert and making it even sweeter would surely never go wrong ! A must try for all chickoo / dessert lovers !

Spice Mantraa is definitely a must try place if you are in candolim or nearby beach area. It is located on the first floor of YU hotel- known for its extraordinary look and cozy ambience. Some of the must try dishes here are Tandoori chicken black sushi roll, smoked Butter chicken, chicken Bhuna, Nawaabi Murg biryani, Sungtaanche Chilli Fry with some amazing cocktails like Beer Mojito and Modified Manhattan. Do visit.

It's truly serves soul food as their promotion says. There is something special about the food, from the very first bite you feel good and satisfied. Jumping into the weekend with a sumptuous mean by Spice Mantraa by YuHotels in Candolim, Goa😍. Felt extremely satisfied after trying some comfort food from a wide variation of cuisine by Spice Mantraa and Noaa Social Dining last weekend - I guess that made my weekend. 👌🏻 For drinks, we opted for the Beer Mojito (loved it) and the Pink Fury. Moving ahead to starters, I was happy with my pick from the Amuse Bouche, Sushi Bar and not to forget the Chicken Vindalho Gyoza (highly recommended)👌🏻. Butter Garlic Naan with Chicken Bhuna was indeed a perfect combo for the main course.😊 Last but not the least, my favourite part (Dessert) was the Chickoo Ensemble which just made my evening and was the highlight of the meal🤩. Reasonable prices, super friendly staff. Ganesh is a legend there. Ask for him there and your food beer will be served without even asking. Had a great experience, i highly recommend this place.

I had candle light dinner in front of the beach. the prices seemed a bit less compared to some of the other beach shack restaurants. Had a little chat with the owner and he seemed like a nice guy. Ordered peanut masala, fish fingers, golden fried prawns, garlic chicken, sea food salad etc all of which were tasty.

This is a great place for tourists wanting a welcoming beach base. Beds and umbrellas on the beach are free, so it's only fair to buy some drinks and food. Prices are very reasonable, with a good menu, and the staff are very customer focussed. Highly recommend the noodle dishes, spring roll side order and Hawaiian salad. On top of all that the music is pretty cool too. Best shack in town!!

Over Hyped. Was informed at the gate that presently the restaurant stands closed in the evening on weekends with only the Club being operational. A peek confirmed that the restaurant space was being utilized for catering to the club goers. Didn't find it worth the money for someone who isn't interested in unlimited drinks and snacks.

I stayed there for 2 nights - one night in sapphire and second in vanilla room. Rooms and service was very good. Only one issue was there in sea view room, the window was covered by protection sheet due to which window was not getting open and that too due to rainy season. Food was awesome. And Location is very good just walk in distance to Baga beach.

Extremely disappointing experience. This place is nowhere close to what it claims to be. The cleanliness is terrible — the property is full of leeches, slugs, and snails roaming around. It feels more like a jungle than a resort. We even found a slug in our bathroom and had to call someone to remove it, which was absolutely unacceptable. The staff’s attitude made things worse. They are extremely arrogant and behave as if they are doing us a favour by letting us stay there. We paid for our stay — it’s not a free service — yet their tone and behaviour were disrespectful. We requested an early breakfast, but the receptionist guy rudely said his shift was over and kept arguing instead of helping. I even mentioned we only needed something simple like bread with butter or jam, but he refused and asked us to check with the next shift. Thankfully, the morning staff was polite and did arrange it, but honestly, we shouldn’t have to beg for what we’ve already paid for. The only positive point is that it’s close to the beach but even that comes with a downside. The shacks stop playing music by 10 PM, and after that, you’ll be disturbed by loud club sounds till 3 AM. The entire property feels damp, especially the rooms and garden area. Overall, this was one of the most uncomfortable stays I’ve ever had. Definitely not worth the money or the trouble Please don't waste your money here.

On top of that, the music from Tito’s Lane is unbearably loud till 4 AM. No soundproofing at all, so forget about sleeping early. Hospitality ❌ Job ✅ The staff is entitled and doing bare minimum jobs. One of the staff members ( the youngest one ) is so focused on his life that he will not entertain anyone. All conversations start with what “you” ( customer ) should’ve done and not “how can I help you?” Customer delight never comes from bare minimum, it comes from taking a step further but these guys won’t…so be cautious when booking this property. Word to the staff - We pay a hell of a lot money to stay and for “you” to help us not the other way around ! And the youngest one - you really need to learn few things about hospitality ! You don’t own anyone, someone will humble you if you don’t make these efforts, kid !

Frequented this place during my stay since it's a great place to unwind with live music. Drinks options plenty to choose from. Tandoor items were extremely good whilst Goan dishes didn't taste authentic. Particularly liked the beef chilli fry, tandoori pomfret, chicken lollipop. Prawns rava/tawa fry is a must try. Goan pork sausage rice and chicken tikka tangdi kebab turned out to be delicious combo.

I am sure we all think this is the chance to serve the best with smile so people remember the experience they have it here today. Let's start about the restaurant dining experience. 1. Owner was dress up like Nandu sabka bandu (Movie Raja babu) that was so unpleasant and trust me exactly look alike. 2. I ordered beer chicken fried and fish raw fry, can you imagine how much time it took 45 minutes. 3. Both dishes was without salt and zero spices, I complain to the waiter that this is the condition. Waiter reply.... they made like this you don't know anything. I requested them to provide mustered sauce or red chilli or green chilli.... answer was NO. After little argument they provided me with Chinese green chilli sauce. 4. India batting finish and we rush to take the bill because we dont wanna continue there waiter was when owner get free he will make the bill and you need to wait. 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️ For owner You have great location and no doubt as a owner you were there but this is the feedback for you and your team how they treating guests. Sorry if I offended you but I also get offended as a customer from your service.

Went here for a couple of dinners. Friendly and efficient service. A bit off the road so not too noisy. Not as spicy as we like, in spite of asking. The veggie dishes were good although the pomfret lacked flavour. Don't take cards. With alcoholic drinks the bills were around 1400.

While we were in the Calungute area searching for a fish thali, my cousin suggested we try Spice Rack Bar, conveniently located on Alfonso Road. Around 7:00 pm, we tried their Special Fish Thali, which was excellent ☺️. It included fish, rice, chapati, bhurji, and papadum along with Limca and pepsi to quench our thirst 🥂 The server also suggested us to try Chicken crispy 🥘which was good! It tasted like any other Chinese food Overall food was good !! 👍🏻

You tend to run of words while describing about the chef and his wonderful recipies. After travelling and working with famous chefs, it is his humble nature of Chef. Leo D'Souza and his team to offer such mouth watering, scrumptious and delicious food to people at such affordable prices. Kudos to the chef and his team for etching such luscious memories of goa. "AFTER SEVEN" is a must visit place in goa to experience world class food and a class apart experience of fine dining. If your lucky enough you get the honors of being served by the chef himself. Do try the house specials mentioned in the menu as each dish has a surprise with it.

The only place where the main attraction is the food you order to your table. There is no distraction like live music or dancing couple or such acts to take away the basics. Food is amazing and the most important attraction.

Very nice meal in a pleasant outdoor setting. The wood-fired pizzas are delicious, the crust especially good! The staff were really attentive, especially when the town lost power several times. My little boy was in the washroom and they came racing over with a lamp, very thoughtful! Use Google maps to get you there as it's somewhat out of the way but well sign-posted too. Definitely recommend!

Great place. Quite hidden from the main road as it is down a small lane next to a chapel. Taxi drivers tell people that it is closed and take them to the sister restaurant as they can make more money. Don't believe them. Food is excellent (we had pizza from their wood fired oven), the owner is lovely and personally served us. Prices are very reasonable and a refreshing change to some expensive hotels in the area.

Went for breakfast, ordered Poached Egg on Toast & Masala Omelette on Toast. Poached Egg was done in a container, definitely not how you poach an egg in a saucepan. The Masala Omelette had zero spice to it, more of a onion and tomato omelette, probably the worst one we have ever had. The toast was dry and tasted like cardboard, no butter served. Cold coffees were average to say the least. And we paid around 800 Rs for the experience, no wonder the place was so quiet.. won't be back!

We went to breakfast this morning I ordered poached egg and toast midium and my partner she had full english breakfast.poched egg was super exactly like we cooked at home .we enjoyed lot we are here for two week definitely go nirvana again 😄

Visited many restaurants and hotels recently in goa, but have to say this is the best of all of which I have visited, had a very very good experience and food here in Anand Sagar. We went in the morning for breakfast, the breakfast was puri bhaji and masala dosa , good in taste well served and hygiene was fully maintained. Service was very good 👍, waiters are very responsive and helpful in selecting dishes from menu. Cleanliness was maintained very well. Orders were accepted with a great smile and humble attitude, which was the best part of visiting this restaurant. We also had dinner in anand sagar the same day, have to say this restaurant serves every dish very well in taste and quantity. Rates are very much reasonable and affordable. You can eat good dishes in very affordable prices and quantity was also very good. I suggest every veg lover to visit this hotel once while visiting goa. Great👍

I visited this place for breakfast located on the Baga Calangute Road it was quite easy to spot it. The place was packed when we entered however after five minutes wait, We got a table outside. We ordered Rava Masala Dosa and Puri Bhaji along with Tea. Rava Masala Dosa was bit soggy on outer side and seems like they had put bit of turmeric in the batter but taste was still good. Right amount of potato mash masala inside was perfect in taste. Puri Bhaji had 3pcs of poori along with Bhaji(Not green potato mash bhaji) and chutney. Taste was good and we finished the pooris in boo time. Overall had a good experience here. Food Taste was good, They have parking space as well but it's very limited. Service is quick. Recommended for a quick breakfast.

There is outstanding and there is world class. These guys are the real deal. Meat is slow cooked, which is fantastic, and they always (operative word) have a working tandoor for cooked meat which is available less than you think in Goa! Lamb korma and lamb biryani (together, shared between) is a must here. An impressive thing is also the versatility, they did pasta and meatballs (which were self made), curry and steak very well. Very good and non disruptive digestively, which is crucial. No chance of Delhi belly here! Decent wine. This isn’t a cheeky endorsement; they really are world class. One of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to, anywhere. I’ve always pined for places which do food that good, I’ll never miss the chance to recommend one that does.

Fire n Ice is the best restaurant in Baga. The staff are AMAZING, the food is delicious, the menu is diverse, and they even make gluten-free meals on request! Many westerners enjoy eating here and often make it a daily routine because of the great service, food, and atmosphere.

Don’t normally post restaurant reviews but myself , hubby and two friends went to Fire and Ice on CSM road last night… which we have used many times in the past 9 years. Food is always excellent, service brilliant and having eaten surf and turf (with a lobster tail!) on many occasions including 1 week ago where it cost 1100 rupees , was shocked (hubby nearly had a heart attack!!!!) to get charged 7000 rupees for 2 of the same meals!!!!! When we questioned the manager he said that’s the price!!!! Bearing in mind the dearest steak was 690 rupees!!! Shame but we won’t be eating there again 😣😔

We have visited there and has fish fry, chicken tikka pizza, creamy caramel accompanied with 2 drinks. The food is good, but the live music was horrible, don't know who was the singer on Jan 31 , 2025 eve, but he was pathetic , can't engage any of his audiences and his choice of songs were also pathetic! However the ambience is good , it is located near Vaddi of Candolim.

Beauty of this restaurant is it attracts lots of guests to be served and enjoy live music 🎶 The ambience was awesome and made drinks served totally satisfied. But coming to food, beef shashlik was really wonderful with the salad portion and potato. Later pork vindaloo along with boiled rice failed completely as the vindaloo tasted very sourish and couldn't be able to finish it. Service was a bit slow but overall a great evening to be present for dinner 🍽️

Fun restaurant/bar with reasonable prices, great atmosphere and lovely staff. The bathroom got a 9/10 which is a fabulous score for India. We went there a few times with friends and also just as a couple. Very relaxed.

The place has a very vibrant vibe. The staff is so nice and welcoming they will even help you choose some local beverage and the food over here is so nice they even have jain food available and even the jain food was veryy tasty and must try manchurian and kaju feni. If you are lucky u can find tiana over there she is daughter of the owner the kid is so sweet and full of life. And hookah is also very nice and they use coconut coal so the flavour is more enhanced

What can I say about this place, this is one of the best place I love to spend my time when in Goa. Beautiful shack at Candolim beach where you can just relax and enjoy the peaceful beach with lip smacking food. This shack even has toys setup such as slide, hammock etc so even my kid enjoys here a lot. Food is amazing, drinks cocktails are worth trying and mostly the owners. I have never experienced hospitality like this anywhere in Goa. They even offer bbq in the evening with candle light dinner.

Very nice little place. It has a very good feel to it. It's a family run place. We walked in on Christmas eve and the family had to go to Church, still they made sure the chef stayed back to attend to us. The food was very good both veg and non-veg. Good place to spend time with friends and family over good food and drinks.

This is a real hidden gem of Goa. The food is really delicious and amazing and what surprised me is the budget friendly prices. Unlike other restaurants, they don't charge expensive and still maintain the hygienic, quality and atmosphere of the place. You must visit and have prawns biryani and king fish main course.

Found it way better and classy than the louder and more unnecessary extravagant beach shacks around . They play awesome English music … so if u love it … probably this is the perfect place . Great beach shack, food is excellent and varied . Portions are very generous. We have had several days there. And will have some more before we leave. Plenty of room around sun beds,so not on top of other people. Christmas lunch was great. And we were all impressed with the steak pie new years day.

One of Calangute's original shacks. Family run establishment, trained chef. Warm welcoming owners and staff, friendly and obliging. Clean premises and toilets. Beach view. Wide range of food available, cooked to order using fresh produce. Food presented excellently, clean and flavoursome. Sun beds available. We would highly recommend this lovely beach restaurant.

Some harsh reviews here and in some ways I can understand, the Brits abroad is not for everyone including us. However if you are here for months as a lot of us are some pie and mash occasionally can be quite welcome. The owners are Indian's and doing their best to accommodate us whilst trying to survive a season with a reasonable profit. The portion size is more than adequate and in our experience very tasty. If you are here for a fortnight enjoy your excellent Indian food, if you are here for months and fancy a taste of home give it a try. The beef pie with mash and veg is delicious.

Just today i visited the Domino's outlet in Calangute and while I have always been a loyal Domino's customer my first impression of this visit was disappointing The outlet was quite dirty primarily due to a large tourist family occupying the entire seating area They lacked basic etiquette littered the space and even spilled Sprite on the floor making the place unhygienic Despite this I want to commend the staff at the outlet They were incredibly kind and helpful throughout my visit When I went to place my order at the counter they politely informed me about network issues and suggested placing my order online Their approach was professional and they ensured my order was prepared promptly once it was placed Unfortunately the tourist family left the place in a mess However a staff member promptly cleaned up as much as he could showing great humility and dedication This effort deserves huge appreciation When my order was ready I asked for extra oregano and the staff went above and beyond by providing plenty of it with a smile Their positive attitude truly stood out in an otherwise disappointing atmosphere As much as I love Domino's I was unable to click pictures of the outlet during this visit as I didn’t want to showcase the unhygienic state caused by inconsiderate customers I urge Domino's to continue maintaining such excellent staff and encourage all visitors to respect the space by using the dustbins provided A clean and pleasant environment benefits everyone and ensures customers can enjoy their meals comfortably Kudos to the Calangute Domino's team for their patience kindness and commitment to their work👍🏻🫶🏻I hope future visitors keep the space as clean as they found it❤️

One of the worst dominos pizza outlet I have ever visited.. golden delight cheese burst pizza I ordered and there was no cheese filling paid 404 for regular yet check in the pics what i received.compare to other dominos pizza it was always ready to eat more but here I felt I'll never ever eat dominos pizza again you should concentrate improving it..

We had our life’s worst experience of pizza over here. We have ordered 6in 1 pizza that too 2 orders and they have made us to order online because they don’t have staff who can take orders like that but we had accepted that too but after that, they had served us half cooked pizza in very bad condition. Disappointed as hell,If you guys are tired and want to have food please don’t visit this place.

I'll cut to the chase the staff were new it seems, when asked about difference between the food types no one had any idea also the service took more than half an hour the order was give ln after I approached them. The pizza was not up to the domino's quality I had a farm house pizza it was okayish the zingy parcel was under cooked and the chicken pops was okayish I drove a long way to find domino's but didn't meet our expectations this branch needs improvement .

I'm not really a pizza person but my friends suggested we go here and I had decided to have pasta instead but I ended up eating pizza which was quite good. I have a huge grievance though, we visit the Calangute branch and were very disappointed with the ambience. The floor were all dirty with stains and dry waste on the floor, the tables were not clean as well. There was one table available which was just near the washroom which was stinking and next to it was a garbage bag of waste. A man came n swept the dry waste off the floor but the stains were still there. We felt so disgusted that we felt like not eating there but then another table which is at the entrance became available so we shifted there. The pizza's were really yummy and I loved the pasta too, we later ordered peri peri wings too but the quality and quantity was poor. Ordering was also very easy we ordered via physical mode once and the second time we ordered online as takeaway, the latter was faster and more efficient. The staff was nice and out orders didn't take long to come. Overall we loved the food.

Restaurant is not clean and tidy. Preparing person is not wearing gloves. Mosquitoes are quite in number in restaurant.

The female staff member was very rude and unhelpful due to her ego. When we asked to place an order, she initially stated that the store had stock available for takeaway. However, when we requested to dine in, she suddenly claimed that they didn't take orders for that. Despite repeated requests, she refused to take our order. This experience was very disappointing, especially for fans of Domino's. Action needs to be taken to address this issue.

We had Chicken Pizza. They prepare it upon order. Freshly baked. Patience was rewarded and the pizza was really yummy. Parking available near the road side. A gelato shop is also available near this shop only where u could get 5 scoops of different flavoured gelato for 250/-. Recommended.

Great place for italian food! No complaints about anything else but just one thing. The tiramisu which was provided as the dessert option with zomato dining was not upto the mark and completely unedible. Apart from the dessert, rest everything else was flawless especially the ravioli!

The food is absolutely delicious and the ambience is such that you would not like to leave this place, especially the seating arrangement outside. The paneer tikka pizza was just amazing! The ravioli was so soft with right flavours that I had them twice! Churros in dessert were just the best! Overall a must must visit place, if you are looking for good italian cuisines.

Had an excellent dining experience! The white sauce pasta was absolutely awesome – rich in flavor, perfectly cooked, and beautifully presented. The staff were courteous, attentive, warm, and welcoming. To top it all off, the tiramisu was simply amazing – creamy, perfectly balanced with espresso, and finished with a delicate dusting of cocoa. It was the perfect end to a fantastic meal. Highly recommend this place for anyone craving delicious Italian food with great service. Will definitely be coming back!

I visited Piccola Roma last night for dinner and had a mixed experience. 🍕 Del Porto Pizza (Seafood) – The flavor was good with basil, mozzarella, and tomato sauce, but the toppings felt very minimal. For example, one slice of pizza had just a single prawn, which was disappointing. Taste-wise, it was fine, but I’ve had better pizzas elsewhere. 🍝 Bolognese Fettuccine – This was the biggest letdown. The pasta tasted bland, the texture was sticky (more like flat rice noodles than proper fettuccine), and it came with a piece of plain toasted bread without any butter or garlic. We really had to force ourselves to finish it. 🥤 Drinks – Prices for drinks were on the higher side, so we stuck to a Diet Coke and a ginger ale. 🍩 Churros with Chocolate Sauce – Crispy on the outside, but not soft inside (possibly because they’re eggless). The chocolate sauce was nice, but one churro piece was over-fried and too crunchy. ✨ Ambience – Beautiful setup with low lighting and a cozy vibe. Definitely a strong point of the place. ⚖️ Overall Rating: 3/5 Great ambience, but the food didn’t live up to expectations. With better attention to preparation and portioning, this place could be much better.

A good choice for lunch on the beach. Visited twice during our 5 day stay in the area. Large Kingfisher beer only 180 rupees. The service is good although they didn't understand that we like spicy food so on both visits needed the green chilli sauce. Paid less than 1000 rupees for a couple of alcoholic drinks and one dish of food each. Recommended

The shack is located on the Calangute beach. The owner is very co operative. We spent some time here and will never forget this shack. Pocket friendly too!

I've never had such a terrible grilled fish. Fish was over cooked and it became hard and chewy. When asked about it to the staff they tried to justify that grilled fish will be like that. And the other items ordered were also bland. Had to add salt myself to make it eatable. Worst place for seafood.

On day of September,I searched for a good Muslim restaurant, hoping to find a good dish, but ended up with the worst experience. And the staff there didn't even seem to realize what they were serving. Goa's worst seafood serving restaurant, the restaurant that cheats the most they charged 550 rupees for a small prawn dish, In which there are only 6-7 small pcs, I ordered prawn chilli and the restaurant served Indian style gravy mix prawns. How exciting

We ordered Mac & Cheese and some pasta with tomato sauce. The food had literally no taste. We also ordered spring rolls which were looking like they were drenched in water. I don't recommend eating here.

Very old hotel in Calangute, Famous for Desi food at a reasonable price, We had ordered Alif special chicken gravy, The quantity and quality was very good, But the staff and service was very slow and not cooperative, located in Calangute street beside Aflatoon hotel, Parking available only for 2 wheelers not for four wheelers, Accepts cash and online payments. Location is easily accessible on Google maps.

We recently tried the restaurant Latest Recipe at Le Meredian , Calangute Goa, and had a truly wonderful experience. A big part of that was thanks to our servers, Rajat Shubhra and Mutsolu. Rajat was extremely well-versed with every detail of the menu and guided us perfectly through the new dishes. His dynamic nature and vast experience really stood out and made the dining experience smooth and enjoyable. Mutsolu greeted us with a warm smile and was incredibly gracious throughout our visit. Her warmth and hospitality added a very personal touch to our evening and they both made us feel genuinely welcome. Together, they created the perfect balance of professionalism and friendliness. Alookathiroll:This is something we had on arrival late afternoon.This was light and scrumptious with marinated red onions.The potatoes were medium-spiced and the roll as per request was made in whole-wheat flour. Who says goan thali cant be vegetarian. Goan Thali:This we had in the evening.They hv a goan chef who knows the local food stupendously well.U will be more than pleased to place an order for this.Do so on prior request. Moong ross:Ross means goancurry.This Made with yellow dal,onion,greenchilli,wholeredchilli.Medium-spicy with tang from tamarind ball which adds a perfect balance. Veg caldin:Delicious,made with freshly grated coconut.The greenchilli with gingergarlic give it the mild spiced flavours.The medley of vegetables work beautifully. Mushroom xacuti:Best taste with button mushrooms.It has goan blend of spices.The coconut,whole coriander,whole redchillies,peopercorns,tamarind pulp more or less are a staple in any goan curry preparation. Tambdi bhaji:Red amarnath.Comfort dish.Home-style cooking.Very healthy goan preparation.This has flavours of fresh coconut,garlic cloves,greenchillies. Dal varan:Appease lord ganesha with this they say.Simple but full on flavour.This has greenchilli,cumin,curryleaves and coconut which is roasted together lightly then added to the dal.Comfort! Goanrice:Ur full on with whole spice flavourings of cinnamon,clove,cardomon & coconut milk.Betcha u didnt know tht! Poi:This is baked inhouse goan bread.Soft and thin as vaccum air.Dunk in ur curries and lap it up Vegriosis:Very authentic portugese dish.Made with plain flour,clarified butter which is cooked on hot flame then kneaded into dough,with stuffing of choice.Fried till golden brown.Crisp goodness! Dodol:Dessert for vegetarians. Mediterrnean Roll:This had Spinach hummus roll:This had boiled spinach with hummus,artichoke and feta cheese.Superbly tasty! Pesto roll:This had an aromatic pesto sauce with a medley of veggies. Mexcian roll:This had hint of garlic with clred bell-peppers,onions,sriacha.Extremely tasty! North Indian Thali:This too will be available on prior request. Kaddu ki sabzi:This is comfort.Allahabadi style. Dal makhani:The restaurant style finger-licking good. Veg kadai:Another regular restaurant style with medley of veggies in tomato puree and blend of tumeric and chilli powder. Latest Recipe in located on the first floor of Le Meidien in Goa. We had our breakfast here during our stay at Le Meridien. First day we did have our some issues, but full credits to Saurabh Bhatnagar, the director of F& B at Le Meridien. His management of the place is absolutely brilliant. He ensured that all minor issues were sorted there and then, and everything from there on was just absolutely brilliant. His entire team infact deserves to be applauded. Highly recommend to try this place for their good food as much as their brilliance in customer service.

Had our breakfast here while staying in la meridien in goa.. food was good but service was poor.. not enough staff to cater to the patrons visiting for breakfast making it chaotic.

Hi went to the kindman restaurant last night I was looking forward to the roast dinner I ordered a bottle of red wine it goes with roast beef sorry we only have white I said there’s a wine shop across the road 2 minutes in fact sorry can’t do it they must have a lot of custermer to turn me away I’m here for 4 month

I along with my gang were here for dinner. The name” Punjabi “ pulled us to this restaurant We ordered paneer handi, egg curry, chicken biryani , daal fry, butter roti and cheeze balls. To our disappointment, we found that there is nothing punjabi in the taste of the food. Except egg curry everything else was not up to the mark. The taste was really bad Please do not visit this restaurant if you really care about how your food tastes

We had a good experience during our first visit, which made us return the same day at night. However, the second visit was disappointing. The waiter was rude, the food wasn’t cooked properly, and the prawns masala fry — made with very small baby prawns — was overpriced at ₹850 for just 10 pieces. When we brought this up, the staff was unwilling to accept the feedback. Overall, it turned into a bad experience. Not recommended due to poor service and attitude.

Worst place to eat in Goa. I ordered veg Biryani and they served me it with small bone pieces of idk what was that.and when we complained about it ,the service staff and manager were so rude to answer. Poor food quality and poor management. 🤮🤮

Its located at Calangute Baga beach road on Calangute beach main entrance. There was variety available and food taste was good. Portion size is decent. We had taken food parcels. Not so high standard upkeep but rates are high as compared to infrastructure.

Seating is comfortable and the place is well ventilated. It remains open till late in the night which is ideal for those mid - night cravings. All items are reasonably priced. The staff is friendly and willingly accommodates any special requests. Service may be delayed during peak rush hour times.
