There's a good number of parking lots, and the whole facility is curated and well maintained. Menu 6: We used to go to the "C'era una volta" mainly for enjoying a delicious steak, and in my opinion, it is the best place to eat meat in town. One thing I can't tolerate, though, is the outdated list of wines. It's a matter of fact, the wine contributes to the overall meat experience, and we asked for three wine types that were on the list but not in the cellar. This careless together with the not perfect crunchy "puparuli cruschi" is unforgivable. The meat, as usual, was delicious and we enjoyed it a lot. Service 5: All the workers who interacted with us were courteous and helpful. Unfortunately, they suggested a wine that didn't match the expectations due to the outdated wine list, and we had to change it after the first bottle. Probably the most memorable meal on our Road Trip around the south of Italy. We were there on a Saturday evening and had an early dinner (local people eat later). We hadn't booked but we should have as the place filled up quickly. They found us a table and the food drink and atmosphere were just perfect. The pizza looked awesome and there was a steady stream of them leaving the restaurant. I had a pork dish and my wife vegetarian - both were great. The house wine was ridiculously inexpensive and pretty good. Very Highly recommended. Lovely place with great people.

We just wanted to have pasta for dinner and it was very tasty. It lived up to our expectations. The atmosphere in the brasserie was very nice and the service was very friendly. We would definitely recommend it.

A lovely meal with a legendary cyclist! The food was well prepared and tasty and the owner comes and talks about his cycling achievements. Very impressive and cute local place.

My partner and I visited on the way to Matera. We were greeted by Mimmo who was very lovely and welcoming. As we can’t speak Italian, his nephew Fabio took care of our order. Fabio spoke excellent English and gave great guidance in terms of meals to choose from and the menu. We had the bruschetta as a starter - the tomatoes were delicious and sweet. For the main we had strascinati with breadcrumbs and peppers and orecchiette with spicy sausage. They were both simple home style meals that were well priced with good portion sizes (pictures you see are halved portions as they split them between my partner and I) and had really nice flavor. We had a really enjoyable and authentic dining experience along with the best and most welcoming service we’ve received in Italy from Fabio and Mimmo!

This is amazing restsurant I coincidently found on my way to Matera. Great food and unique local recipe that I've never experienced during Italy trip. Looking forward to visit again:)

Amazing local authentic food and good choice of wine. Stopped for a quick lunch with a friend and was stuck there eating for a couple of hours - everything was so delicious and the prices are very reasonable! Loved the breaded pasta and the cod with lentil purée. And the tiramisu was to die for! Excellent service and nice staff. I was also lucky to meet personally Mimmo il Ciclista himself :)! even took a photo of him. Definitely recommend for lunch or dinner stop and also as a local attraction.

We had a warm welcome and the best experience in this family restaurant, and received the best advice regarding the choice of dishes. Lovely little Japanese restaurant. The staff was very friendly and the waiter spoke very good English. We had miso soup, vegetable tempura and a mixed sashimi nigiri sushi 🍣 and roll platter. The waiter was so happy to hear that we enjoyed the meal as my wife is from Japan. Everything was very fresh, properly done and well presented.
