We came on a Wednesday evening around 8pm. We did not have a reservation and were seated without a wait. Everything was delicious and the view at sunset was amazing. We had the lobster with mayo butter, tuna pasta, and lobster pasta.

2 stars because the waiter was polite, friendly, and halpfull. But food is not worth visiting. We came from Rome to Ostia and expected good seafood. But this is what disjointed us. Wife ordered pasta with lobster. Pasta was ok. But lobster or half lobster was trash! over cooked cold and not eatable. I ordered for a second plate of fried seafood, and what came was 3 prawns and calamari. Also, nothing special. Overall, I don't come back.

What can I say. The best food. Incredible service. Amazing location. Honestly one of the best restaurants of my life. Thank you so much.

The food Is PHENOMENAL!!! Honestly some of the best seafood I've had! Spaghetti alle vongole Is my favorite dish and whenever I come to Rome it's the first thing I have, this one in particular was THE BEST I've ever eaten and ive eaten many!!!! We had a starter of Turbot with fried artichokes (Rumbo con Carciofi alla giudia) together with the mix fish starter which from the pics you'll see is just a combination of things they bring e.g Calamari, prawns with Fennel and olives, baccalà, octopus with Roman broccoli, smoked salmon....The list continues..... followed by Spaghetti alle vongole veraci and finally the most incredible Nutella Tiramisu that was made by one of the waitresses there! It was again DELICIOUS!!!! The food is second to none! We went today at lunchtime on a very wet and windy day, the waves crashing behind us in the background and I have to say was actually a nice view to have albeit a bit scary 🤣!!! Overall great experience and will Def be returning in spring/summer months!!!!!! 10/10 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ And it's irrelevant because I would have paid whatever they asked for the quality received but the prices were beyond reasonable!!! A fabulous experience!

Mediocre food, amazing view, lovely service. Dirty wine glasses with lip prints (in corona times!!). Spaghetti vongole seem like they are made with cream/butter rather than the pure way. Slightly unusual, but ok. The starter: like from a can. Good: calamari dish was great.

We were there for a dinner with my girlfriend, as recomendation of one of top 3 restaurants in Ostia. We came at 19:15 without reservation, 15 min before opening. Waiter told us, there is no problem and he will prepare a table for two in 2 min. After 25 mins at 19:40 (10 min after opening) they gave us a table. Waiter was nice, we made order in 10 min, as a starter we asked for fried squid and prawns and as a main course my girlfriend get gnocchi with sea bass and i asked for linguine with lobster. She asked for a limoncello spritz, they made it for her without problem even that they did not have it in menu. After maybe 15 min we get starter. We finished in 10 mins and the waiting begins.. Restaurant started getting busy (we were one of two tables at the beginning) and we sat there with dirty dishes 40 minutes. Everybody walked around us, checking our table with eyes all the time, but nobody cares.. So we decide to put all four plates on top of each other to maximize potential of someone to realize we were done with starter. Finally one of waitresses took our plates when she was passing by with stuff from other tables.. After more than 1 hour of waiting, my girlfriend asked the waiter, if everything is ok with our order and pointed out that we are still waiting over 1h for our course. His reply was just "i will check it" and then he leaves. In between, an another table was served with lobster linguine next to us (they came maybe 40 minutes after us).. Finally, we saw waiter with our meal. First they served food and then they brought cutlery.. Gnochi with sea bass were 2/10, two points just for homemade gnocchi, almost no fish, no taste, no pomodoro.. I get half lobster but without any scissors or lobster tongs.. So i was waiting again.. I started to eat it anyway, i fing a crackling on the claw so i tried to open it with fork and knife, maybe it should be eaten like this in Italy.. Nope, it ended up like i was thought it would.. Dirty table, dirty tshirt, cold linguine.. I asked for tongs, that time i was already upset.. Lobster was good, linguine nothing special, lets say 6/10. We wanted also desserts, but after 2,5h in this restaurant we decided to pay and just leave.. Nobody asked if we are ok, if the food is ok, if we need something.. Nothing.. For a whole time we were there. I was trying to reach our waiter for the bill, which ended up by me going inside to pay. There was nice lady, finally someone asked about our experience. We told her about extreme waiting, lobster etc. She than called our waiter, who just by walking around us said, im sorry, i already told you (no), it was late beacause other table had same pasta (????). We both work in gastronomy for many years and i hate making a scene in restaurant like this, but i think, as a tourist, who most likely never come back, we worth nothing to them and they just dont care. So unless you are not italian, dont go there, its just "view trap" for tourists

service was excellent, we were just there for a late night snack, so we didn’t want to eat much. our waiter made a great recommendation as to what to order (and how to eat it best~). food was also delicious albeit a bit pricey, but for the venue it was worth it! definitely coming back if i’m in the area again :)

Small, niche menu of limited options, but they do an incredible job with these options! The seafood tastes very fresh, the quantities even for the appetizers are relatively good. Be careful because most of the items you see here through customers’ posts are no longer served. The menu is only what’s offered in the QR code menu. Slightly expensive but worth the price if you’re looking for something high quality and a real experience!

Really delicious food, presented beautifully and served well. Very good option for a relaxed lunch or dinner and right next to the beach. Don’t pass by without a try (we loved cheesecake and the street food options are also very good)

Beautiful intimate restraunt which only serves seafood, and they are truly artists. Everything was Beautiful from the delicious food to the great service and drinks. We were very happy to have a romantic dinner here.

Perfect place for dining. If I could rate waiters attitude and service would be 6*. Huge choice of oyster - we had 3 on different kind per person, all of them were very fresh and juicy with different flesh taste. Then we had pasta with lobster for two to share. Went there with a lot of expectations. It was a total mess ... People complaining about the time taking for plates at the cashier, all disordered, dirty ... We still decide to stay. Wait 10’ to be seated. On the way to be seated the waiter tell us that we need to wait 45’ for food ???? The place was already empty at 15:00 ... I believe he didn’t want to work a lot. How come is possible in a place all is raw 45’ for a dish ? Incredible ...

Expensive and disappointing! I went there on the 3rd of January of 2019 at 14h30, the décor was great but the service seemed a bit bad. One of the waiters was constantly leaving us without saying a word or excusing himself when we were ordering. I had tartare tonno (~13€, decent, tasted too much like olive oil and caramelized onions), one great oyster (EACH oyster costs above 4€, which is unthinkable!!) and tataki tonno con crema di zucchine e fiore di zucca (~15€, also very disappointing: nice presentation but the taste was not good or surprising and the waiter told me I'd have crispy tuna on top and soft in the middle, but I was just left with a chewy mess). If you expect to pay a lot for small portions of not that well-prepared dishes, you've come to the right place. If you're looking for something good here, try the oysters but be prepared to pay a lot for it.

I went to Nudi e Crudi for lunch when my tour group stopped briefly in Ostia, in March 2018. The restaurant is a lovely place physically, with very friendly staff, one of whom spoke very good English and helped me get my needs met for my special diet. The red shrimp was delicious, the vegetable salad (including an amazing eggplant noodle) was scrumptious. And the meal only cost 25 Euros, which I think is very reasonable. Not only that, but I was so impressed with the eggplant noodle that I later went online to research how to make it myself! Had I not known it was eggplant, I would've thought it was pasta, that's how well the Nudi e Crudi chef prepared it. Nudi e Crudi is a perfect seaside restaurant and I recommend it to anyone!

An absolute gem by the sea in Ostia! We spent last Sunday here and were blown away - not only by the outstanding food and the breathtaking view but also by the warmth and kindness of the people who run this place. True Italian hospitality at its finest. Highly recommended! We'll be back <3

Michelin concept restaurant. Tiny portions but all we tried tasted really very delicious. The budget you need at least 100€ por person. They don’t speak English and it was very difficult to communicate. Also we had bad experience with the payment. We had to go to the ATM for get cash.

After an amazing day at the seaside. I went with family to eat at this restaurant. Before I even got to the seat I’m being told the menu is missing many items. The menu was presented with no pricing. The owner was very hesitant on upselling his menu and didn’t even let me get a chance to review it. We didn’t get a choice of a first course even though I travelled miles to try to this “spectacular menu”, we settled with 3 main courses. I got red prawn Risotto. I just want to start by saying I am not a fan of liquorice I asked them please do not put this on top of rice. Ignored my request and still added to the dish that gave it a very sweet sweet taste (uno schifo). After telling Marco the owner he got rude and aggressive, I didn’t mention I am a consumer and I have every right to choose what goes and does not go into my food. He seemed very offended even though I asked to remove one item. Regardless of this when the bill came he charges extra for the removal of liquorice (terribile). Never coming here again and any tourist please check this review to help you not fall for this man’s scam.

This is the classical place that would deserve 10 stars, but the scale of reference only has 5. The quality of the food is awsome and it is based on fish that is cooked in a very elegant and refined way. The plates are gourmet choices of the chef and they are accompanied by the explanation of the waiter. The service is great and there is also the metre that will help you to choose the best wine. This is the typical place that in montecarlo or portofino is gonna cost 200 $ per perso but here is definetely cheaper. Reservation is almost mandatory since the seats are limited and do not forget to ask for the plates out of the menu since they work only with fresh fish.

If you like fresh fish, Italian taste and hospitality, this is the place to go. It is a beautiful restaurant in front of the sea. The food is a fusion of traditional and contemporary taste, beautifully presented and freshly made. Creativity and passion for preparing the food meet in every dish. The service is impeccable. The ambience is romantic and clean. For a special night or simply to enjoy and experience excellent food, L' Ostrica Pazza is definitely the place to be. I would highly recommend you to stop by... you won't be disappointed! Excellence meets here with cosiness and family atmosphere.

Great place for lunch and nice private beach with no hastle. The sand is the black volcanic sands, so bring flip flops.

Went one time and ate some "fresh" fish, well it wasn't that fresh. Spent one night on the toilette.

It was the worst ever. First Now one speaks English at all there, the food came cold and it was so bitter that I couldn't eat it. The owner of the Restaurant was yelling the whole time at his worker and above our heads so we couldn't really enjoy the nice view. They took care just of few Tables, were there were friends of the owner and ignor the others completely. I had to order twice and remind them of it another time and the fried food came cold!!! No vegetarian dishes but fried Potatoes and Salad!

Nice and clean place, tho... Entrance is quite expensive. We payed almost 50€ for entrance at the pool. 2 adults and 2 kids. Inside we had to pay extra to hire pool caps. 3€ a piece!! Kids are aloud to enter, but can not: play with any sound, splash, sing or just be kids... mine are very nice but still to loud?! If i tell the pool lady that it's enough about ssssss-ing my kids, she tells me its the rule?! In that case they should make it a "adult" only club and don't let nice people with nice kids pay entrance and then ruin there day by sssss-Ing them... we came 2 days. Had lunch which was very nice. Thank god!

Hi. I was here on August 28th at 7:30 PM. Unfortunately I have to take off one star for the service. The food is great, the place is great, the selection is great. But there was one waiter in a black shirt, with black hair combed back. He was unpleasant and slightly arrogant. When he brought us a hot pizza, he put it in our hand until it almost fell all over me and left immediately. He didn't come to our table at all and didn't take anything away. The lady who runs it or the owner is an absolutely wonderful woman. It's a great shame about the unpleasant service in this establishment.

Service was attentiv, seefood was fresh, pasta was (almost) al dente. Pasta sauce was well flavoured with the seefood. Beer was fine. Italian behaviour was not overwhelming, much more nice for an outlander. I recommend this place.

We ordered fried seafood (1 kg). We were told it comes with some salad and also included small fish. It came with no salad and with no fish. It was calamari anchovies, and a lot of tiny uncleaned and unpeeled shrimp. Instead of enjoying a meal, I spent the evening peeling the shells of this tiny shrimp.

I don't speak any Italian apart from "gracie" and "vino rosso" but the staff know more than enough English. Superb family restaurant. I can thoroughly recommend it if you are in Ostia.

Home style Italian traditional food with delicious flavors. The place has got a very local vibes with attentive, kind and funny staff that will take care of you. The pasta was delicious, portion was more than proper and menu offered a good selection of Italian staples and some fresh sea food. Local atmosphere, combined with tradition and affordable prices. If you don’t speak Italian don’t worry they find a way to cater your needs.

The food was good, but unfortunately the hidden service and bread charges ruined the experience for me. If the restaurant needs to cover higher costs, they could simply increase the prices of the dishes or even charge more for water. But bringing bread we didn't order and adding a service fee that wasn’t mentioned anywhere feels dishonest to me. It came across as a very shady practice.

This is a spot not to be missed when you are in the area. Generous portions of typical Roman faire. The only note is that more care should be paid to desserts! But it is a must go to anyway

Best food experience we had in Italy. Delicious food (everything was great), fresh vegetables, seafood and fish, great Italian family atmosphere, not expensive prices. If you are in Ostia it’s definitely the best choice! Just call and order a table before cause it’s really hard to eat without reservation. But definetely worth it 🧡

Very nice and tasty food, it is best described as a typical Italian restaurant with simple yet big enough menu. The staff is very polite and friendly, they also speak English very good. I would definitely recommend it and come back again.

A very good fish restaurant near Ostia beach. We had two good seafood pasta dishes, a risotto and mixed grilled fish and roasted calamari. All excellent, with house white wine. Great friendly service too. Highly recommend and we'll priced. Would pay triple in London.

We visited with my sister's at lunch time on Sunday. It was very busy, but the waiters were absolutely welcoming and helpful. The food is amazing and affordable. The only thing I would add ... The waiters are doing a great job. Mistakes in this busy situation happen... but the customer shouldn't watch how the ¿manager? is more anxious than the waiters. Otherwise... Great place, well recommended.

One of the best gluten-free pizzas I’ve ever had! If you a bit of spice, order the “Lucifer”. My husband (who is not GF) even agreed that it was ridiculously good. A+++ They also have great GF bread!

Wonderful place! I have spent a few days with my family in Lido di Ostia and visited this restaurant multiple times. The food was excellent, everything available in gluten free version (important for me, one family mamber is celiatik). The boss is really carrying and helping guests with explanations, recommendations and very nice attitude. Great restaurant, my best recommendation! 👍👍👍

Very friendly staff. Absolutely the most delicious pizza I had in Italy. We came for lunch but went back for dinner as well, after we spend all day at the beach. The burger is another fantastic option. Cannot recommend this place enough.

Service was the best part of our experience here. we really felt welcome and would love to come again. I definitely recommend pizza Bomber but spaghetti carbonara were tempting as well. restaurant was spacious and the food was ready without any significant delay. The restaurant is open even during siesta time and has high capacity, so it is a great choice for lunch as well as dinner

Food and atmosphere is good but the service needs improvement, appetizers which are already available on the display came after the main dish, it is a simple timing detail, appetizers could have filled the waiting time but when it came with the main dish one of them has to cool down spoiling the taste, it is really frustrating.

I wanted to share my recent experience at Don Pepe, and sadly, it was very disappointing. The portions have drastically decreased, and the quality of the food has really gone downhill. The fish wasn’t fresh at all, the shrimp were dirty and not cleaned properly, and the paella was quite a letdown – the clams had a plastic-like texture, probably because they were frozen, which is really disheartening since the restaurant is right on the beach. When we asked the floor manager about the smaller portions, he responded with a joke about the plates not getting smaller even if they constantly heat them up. He was really impolite. A table next to ours ordered well-cooked meat because the woman was pregnant, and the same manager tried to argue that the meat was better medium-rare. Now, an hour after finishing our meal, my stomach isn’t feeling great, which confirms my suspicion that the fish was frozen and of low quality. Prices have also increased a lot. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience, and the lack of politeness was really upsetting. I’m never going back there again. Hope your day is going better than mine.

Overall not too bad but some things to look out for. Mixed Paella was good but you have to buy 2 portions just to get 1? So it ends up being €32+ just for that which is a bit steep. Tapas dishes were disappointing. Not much to even say about them, just very meh. Service was also pretty slow considering it wasn't busy at all.

Looked promising, but ended up to be disappointing. The price is high, the quality low. The bread was old, the rice of the paella not cooked well. The portion of the food very small. We ordered the paella, apparently for 2 people but it barley served one... overall not a welcoming place with bad food.

Great place for a fish-based fancy dinner right in front of the docks of the tourist port of Ostia. The owner (or manager, I'm not sure) is very friendly and well mannered, he will also recommend you the best food available and which wine better matches with it. Overall, you can have a great dinner (with fresh - almost alive - fish, wine, dessert, etcetera) for just 70/80€ each. If you consider the quality of food (I live in London, you can only dream about this stuff here) and service (the location is cool too), 70€ are nothing. If it sounds too expensive to you, you should probably go to McDonald's.

We were here for lunch with friends, group of 4 people. Great food, and table with on the small harbour. Excellent service. Recommended. Also, dog friendly.

Excellent experience. The fresh seafood was exquisite, prepared with detailed attention, and the service was friendly and professional. Everything from antipasti to dessert was delicious. The dining atmosphere was also great. There is outdoor seating on a deck at the back of the restaurant facing a picturesque dock.

First night in Ostia di Lido ever and we were longing for really good sea food. Luckily we found this fantastic seafood restaurant in the marina! All the food were really amazing but to find a place this nice when it comes to cook octopus/ calamari is incredible❣️ The desserts is to die for 👏👏👏

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Riz Cafe, and it turned out to be a delightful experience. The cosy ambiance provided a welcoming atmosphere, making it an ideal spot to relax and enjoy a meal. The dishes I ordered were Seafood and Steak each crafted with attention to detail and bursting with flavour. The ingredients tasted fresh, and the presentation was impeccable, adding to the overall dining experience. The service at Riz Cafe was excellence The staff were attentive and courteous, ensuring that all needs were promptly addressed, which greatly enhanced the visit. Overall, I would rate Riz Cafe out of 5 stars. It’s a fantastic place to enjoy delicious food in a comfortable setting. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quality café experience.

Average food and too big servings. The shrimp pasta with lemon was flavored with so much lemon that is was almost uneatable. The white fish pasta was very strange with the fish being mashed into the pasta which gave an unpleasant texture. The sea view was nice. The service was ok. All in all: 2 stars for the food and 4 stars for surroundings and service.

This was a really cool find on the coast of Ostia. We decided to visit for lunch after our morning walk through the ruins of the ancient port. It was a great decision. If anything, for the atmosphere. I really love the interior dining area with all the hanging plants. It was quite lovely. We were greeted as we walked through the terrace to the entryway. I think it had just opened for lunch because there were only a few people seated. We had our pick of tables. The seating arrangement was comfortable. The service was good. It was a little detached, and that's okay. I like to have some interaction with the server, but that's not always possible when you're a tourist in a new place. We chose this restaurant more for the varied menu. Ostia is full of seafood, and my husband is more of a land lover. He ordered the Diavola from the Pinse & Roman Pizza side of the menu. I selected the Paccheri from the Pasta first course side. We shared an appetizer of Fritto Misto while waiting for the meal. We especially loved the fried ascolane olives & supplì (filled with rice, tomato sauce, and mozzarella). These were very tasty. The Paccheri sauce (carbonara) and seafood (mussels, clams, & octopus) was absolutely delicious. The pasta was a little too al dente for me. I think it's preferred that way in some regions. I forgot to ask them to cook it longer. It's a thicker pasta, so I didn't really know. My husband's pizza looked wonderful. He appeared to enjoy it. I'll let him write his own review. I would definitely revisit if ever in Lido di Ostia again. There were so many great options on the menu with affordable prices. It appears to be a popular restaurant. There weren't many seats left indoor or outdoor as we were leaving. The cooler weather in the month of May was perfect. It was a beautiful day!

Not bad. Food was pretty alright. Pizza made fresh. House white wine could have been colder. The atmosphere was nice though. Enjoyed sitting out side and people watching while eating. Good place for groups. Pet friendly as well. The flower sellers that kept coming by were very annoying though.

Good place in town. Staffs are relatively nice, unless it is a super busy time, you might see the missing smiles. Food is dope. The only thing that was unpleasant for me was the sand in Vongole, it is perhaps inevitable but that wasn’t a good texture.

If we’re talking about the ambiance, it’s a nice place, but… We ordered pasta cacio e pepe and pasta pomodoro e basilico. The cacio e pepe was served quite cold, while the pomodoro e basilico was really hot. The pomodoro e basilico was a miss — it tasted almost unseasoned. The cacio e pepe was just okay; I’ve had much better. I’ll definitely choose a different place next time. As for the service… the staff — especially the ladies — seemed more focused on fixing their hair and taking selfies than on attending to guests.

The staff were so inattentive it bordered on us being ignored even we tried to get their attention It took 20 mins to even get our drink order taken. And only as we flagged someone down. The food was ok. In our party we had gnocchi Ragu, pizza, chicken and a pasta dish. The pasta dish was forgotten, and then came out like warm about 15 minutes later, it was pretty bland. The chicken we asked for broccoli and got spinach. The plants were cool. But it was a bit of a flat let down to be honest. They also overcharged us on service too.

Had a lovely meal, with well cooked food at a reasonable price (€120 for 4 people, 2 courses + 1 dessert and drinks). The service was great, friendly and helpful.

Went to this restaurant as our last night in Rome. It had a nice menu and vibe. Food was ok but service was horrible. Was told they couldn’t make any of the cocktails on the menu even though there was a fully stocked bar as soon as you walk in. The waitress was serving friends of hers eating off their plate in the middle of the restaurant. She took away our dinner plates and did not return to ask if we wanted dessert, another drink or coffee. After waiting for 25 minutes with no service, no drinks we got up to leave and waited another 15 minutes at the bar for her to return and we could pay. She was outside of the restaurant, not attentive to her guests at all. And by this time we were the only table there.

An enormous size pizza with yummy flavour! You can have 4 different taste in one pizza. They do also have pizza dessert which is the bomb! Definitely should try it and you'll never regret it.

Il Campione is in a tiny strip mall in a dodgy area of Ostia. Not a great neighborhood, but when we finally located it, the restaurant was full of people and many waited outside in the cold until a table freed up inside. We were visiting and went back twice in 4 days we loved it so much! We tried to walk in the first night we arrived but they were full. The hostess was very kind and asked if we wanted to come back in an hour or make a reservation for the following night (which we did). The pizza was amazing. The best crust we had on our entire trip! In addition, our server was so kind and friendly and patient with us since we didn’t speak Italian. He spoke English and was joking around with our kids- made it a fun experience! My husband, father in law, and I spent the night in Ostia Antica and needed to find a restaurant with gluten free options for my father in law. We are all so happy that we found Zenzero! My father in law was delighted that so many of the menu items were gluten free (or could be adapted to be) and all of us were very pleased with our orders. The restaurant itself feels both whimsical and comfortable, with the dominant vibe seeming to be ‘charming garden party’. Service is courteous and knowledgeable. We wish we lived closer so we could come here much more often!

The food and service were extraordinary. It was a nice area on the veranda. We had lunch outside and it was hot. There was some ocean breeze but was no sufficient for comfort. The parking was difficult, quite far from the restaurant and as elderly with mobility problems, in the heat, I can say we struggled and parking was €4. Will I visit again? Not likely.

We visited the restaurant in our last day in Ostia. We wanted to eat something memorabile and we succeded. We ordered pizza capriciosa and chicken with rucolla and parmegiano. Horrible experience. Ordered bruschetta as a starter did not receive it until after the meal the server suggested takeaway. The bread was burnt toppings were great. For main i ordered a Pizze Rosso while pointing at it on the menu. Food was decent, nothing to write home about except maybe for the spaghete ala putanesca and the fettuccina al ragu bianco di vitella. So far it should have scored a 4 star rating. Service, however, was a let down. Had to ask for extra napkins, tableware was dirty, not even a single smile. Locals were queuing outside, not sure what the hype is all about. P.S. After reading the owner response, written in Italian (nobody seems to speak English here). I’ve asked for napkins because accidentally I’ve spilled some beer cause the tables were uneven. No waiter seemed to care. So I har to ask them for extra napkins. So to sum it all up, decent food, mediocre service, really bad management but tones of entitlement.

This is the best restaurant in Ostia. It's intimate with limited tables. The food is amazing - unparalleled in Ostia. Katarina, our server, is the best we've encountered in Italy - very personable and attentive. We've been here a few times and everything awe ordered was amazing. The ravioli cacia a pepe was heaven on a plate. The pork with balsamic - delicious. The gnocchi Bolognese superb - it's a simple dish executed flawlessly. Bravo!

So happy we came across this gem. I cannot rave about the pesto gnocchi enough!! And our waitress (possibly the owner, I'm not entirely sure) was absolutely amazing and hilarious. You can tell she truly loves her job and interacting with people. We visited this restaurant for dinner, attracted by the offer of homemade pasta, but unfortunately, the experience was underwhelming. The portions were very small – one serving wouldn’t even satisfy a child. The taste wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t special either. The staff was friendly but very slow. Prices felt unnecessarily high for the quality provided. On top of that, the woven chairs were hard and uncomfortable, making it unpleasant to sit for long. Not a place I would return to.

Amazing food. Tagliatelle was a smaller portion but very good. Gnocci pesto was absolutely amazing. Probably top 3 gnocchis in my life. Ravioli was great. Everything was great! Would come back again.

We dropped in on a Saturday afternoon and had one of the most authentic experiences possible. Buffet for a great price, tasty wine and desserts and full of locals. Definitely worth a recommendation and we will visit again!

They were kind enough to arrange a sunlounger just on the seashore. In my view it is one of the best choices in this area. The beach Club is located a ten minutes walk from the train stop Cristoforo Colombo. It is a small beach but well organized. They also have a restaurant and a diner. From a beach nearby I could admire a surfers exhibition. I liked the atmosphere. Exactly what I expected from a day at the Roman coastline.

Not only does this place have outstanding food, the service is the best I can remember. It’s an ideal spot for so many reasons. -They make you feel like family. -Their gluten free pasta is out of this world! -They’re dog friendly. Any time someone goes out of their way to not only allow my pup, but bring him water deserves a gold star. -They have a charging station they can bring to your table! Our server noticed I was using a portable charger and immediately brought us a station so I didn’t need to use my battery there. Everything about this place was perfect. If I’m ever in Ostia, I will absolutely be back!

Wonderful ambient nicely decorated with marine decors. Outdoor and indoor seatings for your preference. Plenty of locals and tourists. Food is exceptional. Only complaint is that we ordered appetizer and our main course and they all came out together compared to local Italian tables. We noticed they brought each dish as soon as one course is completed Hence, appretivi, prima, secondi and so on. I guess they just treat us like dumb tourist which I do not appreciate. Good customer service will be treating all guests the same. They should have brought out our appetizers first and when we're done, removed the plates and then served us our main course. The appetizers were excellent cos nothing can go wrong with caprese salad with fresh ingredients. The main course on the spaghetti seafood pasta was exquisite. Wish they have more sauce. The Neapolitan region are not heavy on red sauce, much lighter sauce,but, there wasn't that much sauce in the bowl. But dry! The salmon was perfectly fine with lemon cream sauce. The baked prawns pasta was flavorful and aldante despite the "baked". The tiramisu was excellent even though so done rated them poorly. The lady fingers were nicely soaked in coffee while the cream is much lighter than most tiramisu. Overall, pleasing Wish they better job presenting our food timely based on our orders- appretivi, prima, secondi and dessert! If you like the info I've shared, please like my posting. Thank you.

From service, to our starter and entre, and finally to our dessert, this place was wonderful. The pizza was thin crust, but the flavors were good. The Creme Brule was amazing and went great with the chocolate gelato. Restating what I said in the beginning, the service was great. Always our spot for a special lunch when in Ostia!! This restaurant overlooks the sea, and the hospitality of the people that work there are matched by the beauty! We seem edto be the only English speaking people there, as everyone spoke Italian, and it was nice to be among the local people. The staff speaks English perfectly, and always treat us family. We visited Moose Bistro last year and had a great experience. That's why we wanted to dine there again. We didn't have a reservation, but we got lucky. The food was good, but not as amazing as last year. The pasta was very salty. The mussels were tasty and can be recommended.

The place is simply bad. The service is terrible. We are foreigners and this is a touristic place but you have to be able to speak Italian to get their attention in the first place. You wait for 40 minutes to order. They act like you are asking for free food. I don't recommend it to anyone. You have a lot of other good options near by.

My go-to for eating fish at Ostia beach. I like that there's a kids' area in the sand with a small swing set - for elem-age kids it lets parents relax in longer conversation at the table while the kids play rather than getting bored.

This place deserves the high grades. Place is spotless. Has great music vibe playing. Service is friendly and helpful. Food was hot, fresh, and so good tasting and reasonably priced. Love this place. If I lived here I'd be here at least once per week.!

Over priced. The bar is nice. Beach has big area covered with gass floor. The chair are comfortable. We paid 50 euro for two person and was told We could not access the pool( pool is for membership only) Shower water is not hot enough . I went lots of paid beach in this area none of them make me feel happy enough.

Overall the food is not bad but it's extremely over-priced for what you get. The food is decent, not exceptional quality though, but the prices are unreasonable compared to the quality. As a data point, 5 onion rings (literally 5) 5 euro. Not even in a Michelin star you would pay such a prices. Same for the sandwiches the average price is 8-9euro. The reason why i am giving a 2 and not a 1 is that the staff are very nice, helpful and friendly. The only nice thing of this place in my view.

Good sandwiches, salads, and burgers made any way you like. Staff were bilingual and friendly. This is a casual spot by the beach where the burgers come on fresh, fluffy ciabatta bread. I just wish they made their own sauces. With such fresh ingredients and quality meats, making their sauces in house would make this place even more special and delicious. I'm not saying the sauces taste bad; they are only average compared to rest of their ingredients.

Too expensive for what it is, paid 41€ for two burgers with chips and two drinks. We got an American burger and a triple burger, both of them were the most average burgers we ever tried, the chips were pretty good but i would not recommend eating a burger here, on pan with McDonald's

What a lovely place. What an amazing food. What a service! We were the only ones at the restaurant on a weekday and all the attention was for us. And the attention it was. The owner cooks and serves the meals himself, advises on drinks, understands you without words. I took clams, fish, pasta, dessert and Prosecco and all was amazing!

What an amazing experience! The last meal that we had in Italy before departing, and honestly my favorite meal of the whole trip... They truly made us feel like we were in a true Italian dining room. for starters we had the fried calamari and shrimp, which was fantastic, followed by two pasta dishes, which were both outstanding. To finish off the meal we had pistachio ice cream and homemade tiramisu, which was just divine. The wine was wonderful as well, a Vermentino. And to top it off, when the owner saw us about to walk home, he drove us to our hotel!! Way beyond our expectations, a must go to if in town. Really really amazing place!

The person I assume is the owner was pushy about me ordering a second dish. Also, when I asked for a glass of wine, they said I had to purchase an entire bottle. I was having lunch and was by myself so I declined. The pasta dish I ordered was average but the salad was just some greens and olive oil and vinegar. I wasn't blown away by this place, and actually the meat in itself was a bit disappointing, the meat was tough and my tagliata with tartufo was too salty, I couldn't finish it. On the other hand, the pinsa with mortadella was excellent and the hamburgers looked very interesting. I wouldn't go back for the meat but I might try the pinsa and the hamburgers. The side of potatoes and the arrosticini were excellent. Dessert was average, a bit too sweet and heavy after all that meat.
