Convenient spot with pleasant food (Gazpacho del Mar, Paccheri con Tonno and Velvet Polpo as highlights). The service at the bar/reception felt a bit distracted and inattentive. Maybe it was the matter of young staff short-hired for the summer and having their first experience with working at hospitality? We took the bed and it was worth it although costly (50€ for a bed for two). The sand is grey but sandy - no pebbles. The style is somewhere between buddhist and African with quite African-themed pleasant rustic toilets and thatched roofs covering most of the facilities, looking like those you see in Africa or South Asia. Gaya who hosted our „table” at our bed was very nice, focused, super quick and very helpful. Grazie, Gaya! There’s also a regular area with lots of tables and chairs to sit and drink/eat under umbrellas. But the greatest highlight is the sea - the water was a-mazing. Refreshing but not chilly (it was around 2PM, 24th of June 2025, still just before the high season). Singita Miracle Beach in Fregene is a cool and casual+ hangout spot on the Tyrrhenian Sea, perfect for a relaxing seaside experience. One of the best things about it is how gently the seabed slopes -you can walk nearly 50 meters into the water and still only be waist-deep. It’s ideal for wading, playing, or simply soaking in the sea without worrying about sudden drops. The calm, shallow waters make it incredibly inviting and family-friendly. It’s a very convenient beach experience - especially if you have around at least 3 hours before you should check in your luggage at Fiumicino airport!

Singita Miracle Beach has a beautiful setting and a really chill, stylish vibe perfect for a beach day with friends. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere overall is great. That said, be prepared to wait a long time for a table, especially if you arrive in the afternoon. Also, they don’t serve any food until 6 PM, and when it finally comes, the portions are quite small for the price. Still, it’s a cool spot to hang out, enjoy the sunset, and have a drink by the beach. Worth visiting for the experience, just know what to expect.

Was there last night for a birthday party. Amazing sunset background and scenery, unfortunately the service was very slow and we had to go remind the staff to serve food, drinks, cutlery etc. not very attentive… Pizza was very good! Was expecting more variety of drinks for a party, overall great location.

Singita miracle beach, situated on the Beachfront of Fregene, let's see the drinks are tasty, bar snacks are very nice but the vibe during the Sunset and the situation with the Gong beats almost all of the Aperitivo locations in Rome, something to experience if you have a car to move around in Rome. P.S. Police in Rome are aware of the aperitivo people in that area so I absolutely recommend to have a sober driver to drive back, cause they will stop 🛑 you for random checks. Excellent food and refreshing drinks. We spent our first evening in the area dining here and it was so good that we came back the next day to rent a cabana and have lunch. The staff were excellent and helped us when very large "donkey killer" bees decided to hang around our cabana. The sunset on the beach here is a special treat.

Went for some cocktails and food. The atmosphere is amazing and the staff is very kind and helpful. I recommend the 'Starry Night' to beat the summer heat. The owner of this establishment noticed I missed the bus to the station as she was driving by and very kindly offered to take me to the next bus stop so I could catch it.

The place has the happy beach vibes, the staffs, all the staffs are very attentive, cheerful and suggestive. Menu has lists of summer sea food . I believe that reasonably priced. I tried saute di cozze ( not gingery but still okay), strozzapreti pescatora ( very large portion for me , a generous plate) cannolo al pistacchio ( very appealing, the ricotta is too soft but dude! It's delicious 😋) and a calice of Passerina (not my kind of wine but still okay with my food) . I stayed here from 1:00 until 3:45pm. None brothered me 😎😎😎 Meaning you can eat tranquillamente! I had a free coffee ☕. (I ordered once but it's not at the right temperature so I got another one for free 😉) Meaning they are after quality service 🥂🥂🥂 Recommendable for place, food, price, staffs!!!

Wow! These guys mean business at top level! Great raw seafood directly from the sea served on the beach restaurant with a smile and genuine care. The quality of their dishes is just superior. If you’re a tourist - don’t come near this restaurant!!!! Service was terrible, they kept ignoring us and everything took so long. Tables near us that were Italians had an excellent service. Food was mediocre if not bad, they gave us two wrong dishes. super disappointing.

We booked this restaurant for a family event, we have been long term customers for more than 40 years and looked forward to celebrate anoter family occasion here. We were curious of the new menu and were looking forward to try new dishes at one of our favourite locations. We were presented with a smaller menu that was offering expensive and high class dishes none of which was particularly entacing. We ordered one dish from each category on the menu and they were extremely small in oversized dishes, ironic to say the least. The food wasn't innovative, simply acceptable, we would have been able to cook those foods home, way cheaper and with a considerable size for the price tag. Many people commented on the cost, we were not bothered about price, we would be pleased to spent money to eat delightful food in a splendid settings, is just disappointing as this restaurant was for generation a renowned spot for any fish loverers looking to enjoy a great cuisine. The worst part was seeing a picture of the dessert I ordered and realise that there should have been at least 4 of merengues were what I had had one stale crumbled merengue. See picture here. We left hungry and I wish I could have given lower rating. Staff was lovely and polite.

This is an amazing bar next to the sea. Take you shoes off and sit at a table or lay down on the picnic rugs and enjoy some refreshing drinks and snacks with friends as you wait for the sunset, and when the sun finally hides behind the horizon you'll hear the gong characteristic of this place, and everyone goes nuts. What a great atmosphere! Accompanied by really funky music by the local DJ. Highly recommended chill out location about 45 minutes from the center of Rome.

This little fish restaurant has a beautiful decor and great selection of seafood. The service however is very very slow, often not accommodating and forgetful so if you're after tasty fish this is your place, if you value great service however you'll be better off elsewhere

absolutely delicious. Exceptional actually. Am a pssionate cook myself and have come to Il Pioniere for my Birthdays for years now. Sunday was my 60th. The menu offers new takes on classicl recipies. All our choices were a success: antipastas were delicate yet tasty. The calamari frittata was the BEST ever eaten in Italy in 30yrs. Our pastas, were perfectly cooked despite the full restaurant and tiny kitchen, with again ne takes on classical recipies. My birthday cheese cake with lime totally divine.Wine sadly no longer in the caraff and so more expensive was all the same of good quality and perfectly cool. Staff efficient and smiling, despite all the pressure. Asmallwait forourorders to comebutnothing exceptional espeicallyon asunny sunday.WELL DONE Il Pioniere. The service was excellent. We were greeted the moment we came into the place and the air of "a warm spot for locals" was established early. The staff were responsive, very friendly, and were quite happy to go through the menu with us. I imagine this would be a great spot to go for a beer after spending the day visiting sights or the beach. Food came out at a good pace. However, I'm unsure if they were having an off day, or the foods were just not up to our taste, or a change in staff since we went in the off season, but from our experience, the gnocchi with prawns and mushrooms, the capricciosa pizza and the pasta alla gricia all didn't quite hit the mark. Pasta alla gricia was well cooked but the sauce was thick and congealed, and although I appreciate the Romans like their pastas salty, this one was tough to finish. The capricciosa had very interesting ideas with the pizza being split into 4, but they didn't quite mesh well, the dough was too thick but also the middle of the pizza completely lost its structural integrity and fell apart. The seafood gnocchi was very flavourful and had a lot of umami, but I question the choice to have deshelled and beheaded shrimp tails but then re-introduce the heads into the final product. Whilst I'm sure the extra shrimp adds to the flavour, it also makes it look quite unappealing as well as makes the likelihood you have to keep picking their antennae out of your mouth a more common occurance, and one that makes you think of hairs being in your food. The gnocchi was small and uninteresting, but the mushrooms were the standout of the dish. Some of these dishes just have ideas I don't agree with, others had issues with the execution I didn't appreciate. I can completely accept that these were conscious choices by the chef, but they left me feeling quite underwhelmed when considering the worst meal we had in our rome trip. In terms of value for money, it was quite reasonable. Once again, considering how well recieved this place is from other sources, we're more than happy to entertain the idea this was a one off, but when you have limited time on a trip and a limited number of meals you can have, I don't think we wanted to gamble on Lo Spuntino again.

Not a tourist destination at all. We were the only tourists, everyone was Italian. We were shown to a table by a male employee, but there was no cutlery or glasses on the table. Lack of professionalism, like, the employee knew damn well our table was empty. Italian people who came in later were helped right away, while we were just sitting there. After waiting for about 15 minutes, we descided to leave. I would say no service instead of bad service. Maybe good for Italians, but not for foreigns.

This restaurant has good food, but the atmosphere can be ruined by an SOME unhelpful waitress who forgets about your ordered food. Service can be slow and you may not get all of your food, even if other customers who arrived after you do.

We came to this restaurant based on a recommendation, and it truly is a wonderful place! During our vacation, we had dinner here every evening, trying different dishes: starters, bruschetta, pizza, pasta, gnocchi, beef steak, tiramisu, and everything was excellent! I especially want to mention the amazing Aperol Spritz, which we absolutely loved, just the way we like it! The service was also excellent, with a warm and family-like atmosphere. One of our favourite restaurants in and around Rome. The homemade food is fantastic and very well priced, the staff friendly and charming in that beautiful Italian way and the atmosphere is beyond spectacular. As with all real Italian restaurants remember this isn't fast food: you come here to relax and enjoy yourself and not eat and go, so bring a little patience, especially if the restaurant is full (as it does get). The classics are amazing but they have a wonderful selection of specialities that constantly changes. Portions are excellent and absolutely great value for money. It is mostly open air (there are a few shaded areas) so keep it in mind for the weather. And of course summer is usually hot, but we absolutely loved it each time we went. Bookings are recommended, especially in the evening. There's a great area for kids to play. Will be back again and again. Parking is off the street and free.

We had an absolutely stunning stay here in their Garden Suite. The service is perfect, the food was beyond delicious, the spa was simple yet very relaxing. The grounds are beautiful. The entire hotel also smells amazing. The location is great because it’s next to the airport, yet you don’t really hear the planes much. I asked them if they could make a surprise custom birthday cake, and they were so nice to accommodate my request. Their homemade cake was so good! The also packed us breakfast because we had to checkout early. I highly recommend staying here!

Absolute bliss! We had a late afternoon flight out of Rome back to Australia. We picked Santa Lucia Maccarese because of its convenient location to the airport, we are so glad we did. The grounds are gorgeous with a beautiful garden setting with tranquil pool to relax by. The rooms are lovely and the bed was super comfortable. The in-house restaurant is not to be missed with farm to plate menu. All the jams, honey and even the limoncello is made onsite. Such a relaxing place to spend our last night in Italy. A hidden little gem.

Exceptional boutique hotel. 100% worth it! The location is a 20 min drive from the Roma Fiumicino Airport and 10 min drive from Cantro Vento beach club in which beach chairs by the ocean are included for guests of Santa Lucia. The main city area in Rome is about a 40 min drive. Coming from the Suburbs of New York, we felt like a stepped into a peaceful, high end desert spa. The relaxing pool greeted us on our left and a cabana style restaurant near reception. The location is quiet and peaceful in nature. Perfect for anyone looking to get away from the city. Livia did a wonderful job making sure we were taken care of throughout our stay. All the staff were smiling and sweet. The hotel grounds included a spa area with sauna and wood fired tub (we didn’t have time to use these amenities but look forward to returning), a large pool, hot tub, and plenty of swings and seating areas to read, journal, or soak in the peacefulness. We enjoyed the fresh fruit for breakfast and I must say, the espresso/americano was the best I’ve tasted. Nothing like in the USA. The room was clean and beautifully styled. We loved the smell of the soap and hair products. One side note, being that the hotel is in a remote area, the wifi signal is not strong. Over all, 5 stars :) Thank you for having us and we look forward to returning.

Amazing customer service! We had a day at the pool and contact with the resort was first class, beautiful place, garden, pool. Food we thought was bad and of course we were sorry for that, gnocchi and zucchini starter way too salty and bad flavour, chicken and beef also bad taste. A great place to visit but not for eating.

Not worth the money. Overrated. We stayed here for 4 nights, 5 days. BREAKFAST. If food is a big thing to you - expect to have exactly the same breakfast every day. people who works there asking sweet or salty breakfast and you have to tell what you would like the next morning. salty breakfast is some granola with yogurt, fruits (which are not fresh, maybe a watermelon but definitely not melon and nectarine perhaps where sliced into pieces evening before and presented on the plate for people in the morning. also some scramble eggs and some ham. you do not have a choice to have anything else so if you want to stay more then 2 days it definitely getting boring eating the same food. My mum tried sweet breakfast option so it was only 2 sweet cakes which tasted very disappointing. ROOM #8. Our room where we stayed was number 8 which had shower drainage system blocked so all water after showering was staying for hours and not draining, also wardrobe has broken handles, definitely need some maintenance done as this place is still new but feels like it is not looked after well. LOCATION. there is literally nothing around, don't get me wrong, some people coming here from Rome and trying to escape the city life but if you are traveller and came to visit Rome and be close to the sea this place is not for you. They do rent bikes which on the arrival no one told us about only second day when we asked whats the best way to get to the beach (4km away) they advise that they can call taxi or we can rent a bikes which are 10 eu per bike. bikes are old and do not have lights so its dangerous to ride it in the dark be aware of that. STAFF. on the first day July 21st evening was a girl in the reception who couldn't speak in english so after we arrived she just said hi and said "come" means "please follow me to your room" . no introduction to the resort, no wifi, no information provided about absolutely anything. It made as really not welcomed we even wondered to leave this place and find another place to stay. The following day was a different receptionist (might be a little bit older) she was sweet and knew her job well, thanks to her. Also greetings to Indian boy he was lovely and made us feel welcome. POOL. pool is lovely and definitely the best thing about this place. Hopefully this review will help for people who is looking to book accommodation. Won't recommend to my friends and family.

We stayed 1 night here before an early flight out of Rome. I wish we had had more time to enjoy the fantastic pool area and our beautiful room and porch. Really stylish hotel, just a 20 minute drive from Fiumicino Airport. Also close to Fregene beach, so could easily spend several days here. The restaurant had very good food, we just wanted to try everything. Very nice staff too. Stay here, you will not regret it.

Highly recommend - wonderful staff and service, delicious food and wine, clean welcoming accommodation, outside surroundings and salt water swimming pool. Alice and her efficient team were so helpful in organising a large party for English guests staying in all eight rooms for a wedding for several days along with a dinner for 30 guests with the 5 course tasting menu. The attention to detail and the welcome our guests were given was exceptional, and we would all like to return to stay again.

Overpriced, but beautiful place. We left hungry, after paying a big bill of 120€ for 2 persons for a supposedly 1kg fish (catch of the day) - in reality it was a very small amount. Also the desserts were super tiny. The food itself was tasty! The location itself is beautiful directly at the beach, and our waiter was very nice and spoke English and Spanish.

Despite being first guests in, and explaining kids and adults were starving... we were the last people seated and fed in the restaurant which opened at 8pm!! Pizzas were lovely, warm seafood salad was small but tasty, fish and potatoes main was small. Wine was lovely, music loud and staff disinterested. Could not recommend onwards.

Hi, i have arrived here with 6 friends of mine. Terrible experience from the beginning meaning that after i paid for 7 sun beds they told me that they have no umbrella for us, not a single one, every single one was booked and now after 4 hours since im here there at least 10 umbrellas unused! Second, i can not eat at the restaurant because it is fully booked even though there were 7 table free for more than one hour! Completely disrespectful for foreigners even that we have paid also in euro! No one told us that sun beds don’t came with umbrellas and no sign at all! Very poor speaking english for the personnel! I strongly don’t recommend unless you are italian! Find another place to enjoy the sun and eat and enjoy your vacation!

Honestly, not surprised that my friends and I were discriminated by yet another restaurant in Anzio. We resided at the Serpa hotel, and specifically asked our receptionist to make a reservation since the hotel and restaurant are associated. We were seated right away, but it took the staff 20 minutes to say hello, another 10 to take our order, and they did not even bother to bring us bread or water for an hour after being seated. Our meals were all brought out at separate times, make the meal very awkward and the food cold since we waited to eat together. I honestly would never recommend anyone to eat at this restaurant due to the lack of service to tourists.

I don’t normally leave reviews but this restaurant is definitely worth knowing about, the service is great and the food is amazing. We speak very little Italian but the fantastic staff helped all the way through our meal, it was a great night and I would say the best meal I have ever eaten.

We had to leave as we were with a small dog. Initially they allowed us in, we ordered food for 6 people then when the food arrived and the dog became a bit restless the owner of the place shouting at us ordered us to bring it out. We paid the bill and left without finishing the food. The food might be good but the customer service is appalling.

It is a little out of the way but still very close to the airport, and as long as you set up a taxi - it's very convenient. The restaurant also made for a GREAT last meal (and was obviously convenient). We really enjoyed the farm/nature views here!

We did not stay here but had one of our best meals in Italy. The filet was outstanding, the mozzarella was outstanding, and the first to last bite of our tiramisu was fabulous! Highly recommended! Very nice atmosphere as well. A lucky find.

I'm an English truck driver and was working in the area so visited AgriSesto this evening. I do try to speak Italian but I am very limited. As soon as I entered the building everybody was so welcoming and realised I couldn't speak the language so well. Mimo ( I hope that is correct) was my waiter, he spoke to me in very good English ( which I never expect or demand ) brought me a menu in English and took his time to ask what foods and drinks I prefer then asked if he could recommend something. I let him recommend everything and I'm so glad that I did. This restaurant is warm, welcoming and friendly. Every member of staff that I met this evening was the same. The food is outstanding too. A wonderful bunch of people in a beautifully set out place. 5 stars just isn't enough. I highly recommend this place and I promise you I will be back. Just perfect.

This is a 'by the sea' restaurant, out of the tourist areas, therefore it's known by the locals. The menu is not even translated to English, which is great! So you know you're in for an authentic Mediterranean meal. The food is fantastic, together with the service and the amazing tranquil atmosphere. Came here for my last dinner before I left. Service was great given I was the only English speaking person at this restaurant. Very much a locals place. This restaurant is fairly seafood heavy with its pasta and mains and while I didn't get the pizza I debated ordering one to go because of how good it smelled and how massive it was. Only comment is the bruschetta was a little too salty for my taste.

We waited for too much for the second round of dishes; this is not acceptable since the restaurant was almost empty at that time. Bill 6: Il Patio is expensive as the other places in the area.

None … toilets smell and when the ticket had to come they run out of paper !!!!! Well lit, spacious, with proper distancing (none wears mask, i just kept my mask hanging with its lace in case someone will ask 🤭) I noticed that diners are regulars here. The staffs are all polite, very attentive, suggestive and well mannered.Menu is interesting. First, I had frittura di gamberi e calamari ( seemed not soaked in oil), a generous portion but unfortunately the gamberi are a little bit raw and soft while calamari are mixture of salati e sciapi. A very clever preparation I believe. You can set aside salty if you prefer sciapi. 😁Then I had my primo medaglione con capesante e gamberi. Delicately done I believe. It seemed that the chef is an expert to preserve the filling perfectly. A good plate but sad to say that I am not fond of cream. Wine list complements the menu. I tried Grechetto (13% ,,, of Castello di Corbara) Not bad. A good wine to try with a reasonable price. The most interesting part of my dinner is a free taste of their special starters, a fried "thing" with cream of baccalà filling. Very appealing. For the dolce, I tried the semifreddo al pistacchio. Crema di pistacchio with white chocolate and coconut granules on top. È buonissima! I will definitely go back for this dolce. Recommendable for those who would like to try menu with delicate and elegant presentation.

Then with a blink of a few minutes I got that one Bacalau and something else . . . [I look like an Indian maybe and the two young girls serving where from Central asia, so I got what I wanted without sayjng a word]. Nice Manager too, he apologized for confusion. Bill was VERY reasonable for the area. Plus Atmosphere ... groups families, happy people on a Saturday evening ... no one was thinking if Church on Sunday. All having great fun. For me I'd go again and again ... a pinch of salt was missing ... but I asked..

A gorgeous location right on the beach, and I was actually able to get there which I was surprised about due to me being a wheelchair user, but it was a lovely place where we got a soft drink and they sell ice lollies too, which was perfect due to it being so hot but there was a nice covered patio which was perfect protection from the early afternoon sun! The whole town was a lovely find for us as we didn't know anything about the town or area.

Nice place to spend a day on the beach. Rent of one umbrella and 2 sun beds at 39€, which is quite good for the area. It has a huge swimming pool with a deep zone and other swimming pool for kids. The kiosk next to the beach is good quality and not expensive considering where it is. You have a nice restaurant with amazing and fresh plates. Burger temp completely slipped my mind, but the burger arrived slightly less than medium-rare (my ideal temp). A juicy flavor punch that was not gamey nor industrial. Delicious food and superb people. You get to pick your steak that they cut off for you and then cook in the wood-fired oven. The meat is delicious, the sides are delicious, and the owner and wait staff are amazing.
