The restaurant has a view to the sea. The service is very quick and kind. And the food—— Wow!!! So fresh, delicious , tasty and great. We enjoyed so much that we forgot to take pictures of the most of the dishes we ate. We have only few. Great value for money.

Exceptional seafood and big portions! I ordered squids - they were so well prepared. Tomato salad was great too. So was tzatziki. Other people at my table ordered also sea bass and it was extraordinary. Highly recommend.

The food is very disent. My accurate marking would be 3,5. It is not a four or a five because the squids, shrimps, octopus etc were not fresh. everything was very tasty and quality seemed good though. Very well located in central road. They offered us fruits at the end. Prices are ok to expensive. Not too expensive though. It is a nice local fish taverna. I would go again.

The food is grade A and the service is friendly and swift. They have fresh catch of the day as well as other favorites and they finish your meal with watermelon platter and mastic drinks. This is the type of restaurant where you order 7-8 different dishes and share with family & friends, the calamari is great, greens, tzatziki sauce, grilled octopus, shrimp, and good ouzo and all the side dishes. Very clean, bathrooms are good and at nighttime the road is pedestrian so no worries about parking!

This place had a lot of positive reviews, and every evening we saw the place crowded. We decided to try the place as well, and I have to say that the experience was amazing. Service was fast and polite. They didn't ask for a tip, where as some places the waitering staff can be a bit aggressive about it. For me it is deal-breaker when deciding whether to tip or not. The staff also gave us a free fruit dessert, which was a delight. Then the food. We ordered shrimps saganaki, some bread with Tzatziki, and a Sea bass for main. The shrimp were juicy, and the sauce complimented the seafood really nicely. Tomato-based sauce gave nice hint of sweetness to the seafood. Sadly, I was too eager to eat them that I didn't take a picture... Tzatziki has been the best I had while I have been in Greece, definately try it! It had nice freshness at the beginning, followed by a strong garlic. Really delicious! And the fish. The best fish I've had. Grilled to perfection, the fish was juicy and had some added flavour from the grill. Fish had this really nice citrus and parsley flavour as well. Overall, really nice experience. Will go again the next time I'm here.

We have dinner here twice during our vacation in Athens. Use google map can find this place. Nice BBQ food with excellent presentation (see pic). Comfortable place and reasonable price. Day 1, the food is great. However, Day 2 we ordered 1kg of steak (beef), the quality is not good and cutting too thin and over cooked. All meat juice is gone and we do think we are eating tree skin ... haha. Sorry I forgotten to take pictures of the steak because it’s really below standard.

At the outskirts of the little village of Marathon it offers great tastes and generous portions. The service was quick but at the time we visited there wasn't many customers to attend to. I would suggest the titular souvlaki in pork which will feed easily two and maybe three people. The fries need a little refinement as to how oily they are but they are crispy. The panacotta at the end is a nice touch.

The food here is amazing and the staff are so kind. I would say this is an upscale casual restaurant and they have the most succulent lamb and beef ever. At the end of dinner, we asked for a dessert menu, and our waitress told us that there isn't one, because the restaurant provides a free dessert for all patrons. I assume the dessert is good. My kids loved the dessert so much that they stole mine, and I never got to try it. The owner also shared this amazing liquor that tastes like roses with us. I wish I know where to buy it, because it is good! I highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the area. You won't be disappointed. The restaurant location is a bit weird. We had to drive down an alley and almost thought we got lost before finding the parking lot for the restaurant. This also is another testament to the food here. With their weird location, the restaurant still managed to thrive because the food is great.

Best restaurant in Greece. Family run and all generations work hard to make it the best. Phenomenal food and a beautiful garden with tables and chairs under the olive trees. The portions are generous (the country sausage is amazing) and they all delicious. We didn’t have the souvlaki but it looked magnificent.

This place is fantastic! The food is terrific, the people are super friendly, and it’s a beautiful restaurant. The tzatziki is very fresh and bright, the chicken souvlaki for 2 was delicious and served on a vertical skewer stand! The ending of a sweet pot of goodness and a perfect Cretian liquor - was absolutely perfect. Thank you. Make a trip out to this place - it will be worth it 🙏👍

While spending a day at the beach, we stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant! The food was incredible — we tried the recommended pork souvlaki and a chicken one, both juicy, tender, and full of flavour. (My personally favourite one was the chicken but the votes were 50/50 on our table) Despite being busy, the service was friendly and efficient. Great value for money and truly welcoming with delicious food.

We had a great meal! The location is at the edge of the village, at first, we thought we were lost… but then we arrived at a spacious and nice restaurant. Good service and amazing food. Everything is served generously. At the end of the meal we got homemade liqueur and delicious little cakes. We enjoyed it so much. Thank you!

I think, one of the best restaurants in the area of Nea Makri, recommended by my local friends. We ordered grilled dishes and were very pleased. The service was excellent and the staff were very polite. At the end, the restaurant treated us to limoncello. Highly recommended

Absolutely loved this place. Old tavern part with more modern tiki style bar, dart board, TOP attentive service by all waiters. Food was phenomenal, steak was huge, flavours are incredible, lovely cocktails and local drinks to finish. Loved it so much we returned for a second night and we're not disappointed .

O Chondros truly lives up to its promise – and I mean that in the best way possible. The dishes we tried – cheese balls, zucchini, sausage from Istanbul, and the house salad – were all fantastic. The atmosphere perfectly matches the place, with a beautiful view of the sea. You leave the restaurant with a good, pleasantly satisfied feeling, never a bad one. Definitely worth a visit – the food here is refreshingly different.

Service service service... Our waitress had a beautiful smile from start to the end, food was served in a timely manner, she constantly checked if everything was OK, it really helps you to enjoy your time in the restaurant. Food was excellent. Highly recommend this place.

Special shout out to bartender Sandy for making our visit a most memorable experience! Great bar, excellent ambiance. Sandy made my wife the best Aperol Spritz she’s ever had and he also tuned me in to some mixology tricks and rules for perfect cocktails. The Negroni he made was a Mastika Negroni which was out of this world amazing!!

We have visited this beautiful restaurant 4 times now, each time the service is excellent, very attentive. Last time we went 2 days ago, I had the Alchemy Burger (next door also is a restaurant), the food as incredible, they are shared as two restaurants. My partner and I had Zuchini Fritters and Saganaki for starters alongside the Greek Salad, it was all beautifully cooked. Really tastey and came very quick. At the end of meal we were given a complimentary lemon sorbet shot, I said I loved them to the waitors, they came back and gave us another one each. Fair prices, great sea view and a lovely calm environment. I would highly recommend if you are fussy like me.. I look at reviews for place I go to.

Very easy to miss, excellent experience. All the food was delicious , fresh, high quality , prepared in a timely manner and generous portion. Our sever Alex mad excellent recommendations and made our experience memorable. Whole staff was welcoming and accommodating. Definitely a must try, will going back again before we leave.

Server/host Alex was amazing. Great person to be around and was very helpful and charismatic. Food tasted really good. Got the pizza which was delicious and reasonably priced. Would definitely go back here.

Amazing pizza! Arugula, Parmesan, Prosciutto, and Mushrooms. By far the best pizza I’ve ever had. Personally, I haven’t tasted a better one. A great place for food, coffee, and meetings. Soft music, extremely polite staff. I highly recommend it!

Felt like visiting friends, not a restaurant! Such a cozy, warm place — we instantly felt at home. Super friendly people, relaxed vibe, and amazing food. We had the tzatziki — absolutely delicious! They even shared their secret recipe with us Tip: don’t skip the garlic bread. It’s the perfect combo. Then came the pork tomahawk... wow. Huge piece of meat, juicy and perfectly grilled — ideal for a very hungry man! And to finish it all — homemade meloncello. Light, fresh, and sooo good. Highly recommend this place. Tasty, fun, and full of good energy

It is a restaurant very close to Marathon lake highly recommended for meat lovers. It has a lot of quality meats and you will have a hard time to choose. If you plan to go to the beach first and then dine there, it is recommended to go to the restaurant before, just to see the available meats and make a reservation. Besides the meats, the beetroot salad is very tasty. There are tables in a large inner room, but also in the courtyard, but without a view of the lake or the sea. There is a large parking lot opposite the restaurant.

This is my second visit to this restaurant located on Marathon Hill. The food here is absolutely delicious.

We visited Argentina for lunch, a steakhouse we’ve known for many years but hadn’t been to in quite some time. The place has been renovated since our last visit and now has a more upscale look, creating a pleasant first impression. Upon arrival, a few minutes before 14:00, we asked for a table for four (3 adults and a toddler). The hostess informed us that grilling takes about an hour and mentioned that for future visits we can call ahead so the kitchen can start preparing the steaks in advance. We appreciated the information and decided to stay. Our waiter took our order promptly informing us that grilling will take 40-60 minutes. We ordered appetizers, drinks, and three steaks. Drinks and appetizers arrived within five minutes, which was excellent. Everything up to that point ran smoothly. However, after finishing our appetizers, the wait for the main dishes became unexpectedly long. By 15:35 (about 90 minutes later), we still hadn’t received our steaks. We asked for an update, and the waiter apologized, explaining there was a delay due to the restaurant being busy. Ten minutes later, there was still no progress, and we asked again; we received another apology but no clear estimate. By 16:05, over two hours after we had ordered, we decided to leave. The staff apologized once more and offered to cover the meal we had already had, which was a kind gesture, but by that point, we couldn’t wait any longer. During our visit, we noticed that while the restaurant was somewhat busy, it wasn’t at full capacity, and several tables around us were served and finished their meals in the meantime. Overall, the service was polite and the staff tried to handle the situation courteously, but the waiting time for our main dishes was excessive and ultimately made it impossible for us to enjoy the meal as planned. It’s a pity, as the restaurant has a strong reputation and a lovely atmosphere, but this experience was disappointing.

I was just telling my son about eating fantastic steak here in the early 90s, ordered by the kilo and roasted over a wood fire in grill baskets, and checked Google maps to see if it still exists and Ω Θεέ μου it does! Planning a return trip soon.

Location : It is quite a drive from Athens, but the restaurant's location is very nice. A quick visit to the dam will produce a lot of nice pre-lunch selfies... Services : The staff is very helpful and polite and service is always fast. A good idea would be to make a reservation and order any meat ahead so that it's ready when you arrive (they grill their meat for almost an hour before serving). Food quality : Food quality is superb. The meat is excellent and grilled very nicely. I would definitely recommend the small pies with cheese and beef (didn't try with chicken). Pricing : Pricing is a bit steep but not too high. I'd say the food quality is worth the money you pay.

I give them 1000000/10 why? Maybe because i love meat and they have the best in athens. Or maybe the staff is amazing the atmosphere and everything was amazing. For me like this restaurant i prefer to change the seating chairs because you are going from athens to marathonas to have a nice dinner or lunch but you need to rest from a 1 hour driving on chairs must be comfortable otherwise its my favourite place. And highly highly recommended

Nice tavern in a beautiful area. Has it's own parking. Worth waiting an hour/ hour and a half for your steak. Everything we tried was really tasty. Excellent fried eggplant and zucchini which stayed crispy for over an hour. Fried potato chips ought to be eaten quickly though. Friendly staff, asking if you're vaccinated, wearing masks, bringing your bill where everything is shown properly. An overall really pleasant Sunday afternoon, enjoying good food at a better than average family tavern. Go taste the steak!!!!!

This restaurant holds a special place in our hearts, our parents used to come here, and now we know why. The food was absolutely delicious: fresh fish, perfectly cooked vegetables, and the fried zucchini were especially amazing! The service was excellent, and the owner was incredibly kind, taking the time to share the history of the restaurant with us. A warm, welcoming place with truly delicious Greek food. We’ll definitely be back!

I had a fantastic experience at Fishermen! The local Greek cuisine featured unique and delicious dishes, truly a must-visit for food lovers. The restaurant is also wheelchair accessible, complete with a well-maintained WC.

In general, a good experience. Taking into account that it was a holiday, the restaurant was packed, service was above average, the plates came mostly in time, no mistakes were made. The food was good and tasty, but not exciting. An honest, ordinary fish tavern that is well organized. Nothing more, nothing less.

I was recommended this place by a local gentleman. After arriving and being seated, there was water on the table. I ordered some bread and olives, as well as some tzatziki. I also had calamari. I was a little wary of the calamari as the menu stated it was frozen, not fresh, as one might have expected at a seafood restaurant. I needn't have worried; it was super. The bread was fresh, the tzatziki was excellent, the calamari was perfectly cooked, and the beer I had was cold and refreshing. The seat I chose was just in the shade but with an amazing vista to enjoy, with the sea lapping gently on the shore, just a short distance away. The service was great, and I would definitely recommend it to others if you're in the area.

Great beachside restaurant. The food was excellent and properly cooked. The views are very good around the bay. The chap here knows how to cook octopus 🐙 properly without it getting tough.

Best restaurant in Nea Makri by far. The food is excellent. Before this place I wasn't a fan of Pizzas but here they are special. They also do amazing pasta dishes as well as tasty salads and appetizers. Excellent level of service, friendly family place, decent wine and reasonable prices. Easy parking outside the place and away from the over crowded seafront which is full of bad quality overpriced places. Highly recommended.

Hidden away behind the Platia in Nea Makri this place in awesome. Proper Italian food, excellent pasta and amazing wood fired pizza. Its a nice change from mostly greek cuisine in the area. Highly recommended

Decent Italian food. Polite waitress and good service. The ingredients are not top quality but that does not affect the taste. Nice quite terrace. There were quite a few mosquitoes and the fact that there was an anti-mosquito incense burning did make it an enjoyable meal.

Great authentic Italian cuisine. Food is just mouthwatering. Pizza dough is thin and crispy as it should be. Must try Prosciutto cotto funghi pizza!! Just delicious.

The view of the sea is amazing, the food well cooked and variety of mezedes. The 3 stars because of the delay in order. The indoor personnel could be a bit smiley!!! Also a small error in the bill. In general, it was a good experience.

The restaurant location is amazing : we ate literally 3 meters from the rolling waves. Staff is friendly and they have a nice choice of grilled fish.

Very average place. Service was not very nice. My boyfriend ordered grilled sardines and they were not so good. My mussels were okay. Of course they brought us the bread for which they charge later, but it was very dry and not tasty, like it was cut a long time ago. The location is great though, right on the sea

Restaurant it is situated exactly by the beach, offering you a very nive view. In fact akrogiali in Greek means near the sea. I have been several times, the food is always good quality and for good prices. The fish it is a bit too expensive. You can pay by card too. Easy to find parking place too exactly in front of the restaurant.

We visited this restaurant during our holiday in Greece, attracted by the good reviews and the charming location. Unfortunately, the experience was far from enjoyable. As soon as we sat down, several stray cats approached our table. At first, it might have seemed picturesque, but very quickly the situation got out of hand: the cats literally jumped on us and ate directly from the children’s plates. We understand that in Greece the presence of cats in outdoor restaurants is quite common, but in this case there was absolutely no management from the staff. No alternative or solution was offered, and in the end we were unable to eat. The bill was canceled only when we asked not to pay for what the children hadn't eaten. There are many restaurants in Italy with cats, but it has absolutely never happened that cats climb onto the tables and eat directly from the diners' plates. Not paying the bill doesn't make up for the terrible experience and the traumatic event the children went through. We all love animals, but the presence of animals at the table is absolutely unhygienic. At this point, since everything is so normal for the restaurant owners, I deduce that the presence of animals is constant, even in the kitchen during food preparation. In fact, all the animals appeared from inside the restaurant when the dishes were delivered. A terrible experience, and I wouldn't recommend this restaurant unless you want to eat with cats.

What me attented at first was the scent of the happiness of great food. It looked like a typical Greek restaurant with Greek customers. While sitting there I submerged myself in the banter of the family love and playing children at the restaurant tables. There were no problems only solutions and glutenfree was no issue. I was served a king sized steak which I ate with gusto. I recommend.

I love this place! I've been here twice but I have to go back many more times so that I can try everything! I love the fact that there's a variety of options containing blue cheese, which is my favourite but hard to find in restaurants. I'm obsessed with how successful the chef gives his genuinely comfort food a unique twist, reminding you of your grandma's cooking but elevated! The staff is lovely and kind and the atmosphere is welcoming, inspired by the English country, with fresh flowers in jugs/vases and a warm fireplace. Such a great variety of desserts as well-my favourite is the bitter chocolate pudding also containing alcohol which you can definitely feel in your palate. I wouldn't say it's pricey given what you get, so don't let the three-euro (€€€) sign mislead you. It's fairly priced given what you get and in comparison to other places where I've paid way more and left hungry by the end of the meal. Definitely recommend!!!

*Disappointing Dining Experience – Poor Service & Coordination** Our recent visit was extremely frustrating. Right from the entrance, the staff rushed us to sit down without reason, repeatedly interrupting our meeting. The service was inattentive throughout—no dedicated waiter was assigned to our party of 30, leaving us constantly trying to flag someone down. The food service was uncoordinated, with main dishes arriving **30 minutes apart**, making it impossible for our group to dine together. For a large reservation, the lack of organization and care was unacceptable. We expected better, especially for a group event. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this place for gatherings due to the poor management and service.

Garden area was very pleasant. Dogs are allowed. Food, on the whole was ok, but nothing special. Cod was well cooked, but the cabbage and carrot salad was bland. The service wasn't great. The waiter forget a simple request for vinegar, so I had to ask another waiter.. They gave us 1 bottle of water between 8 people, so we had to ask for another bottle. And at the end of the meal we were charged for 4 bottles of water. It's expensive for what they are serving which is average to good quality food. But I've had much better, for less.

I went there for my niece birthday party . The whole set up wasn’t organized at all .The food had no taste the service forgot us every time . A very bad experience not recommend.

We started with the preserved beef, fried potatoes, and the presidential salad. The preserved beef was outstanding, slow-cooked for hours until it melts in your mouth, with a spicy sauce that complemented it perfectly. The fries were fresh, crispy, and well-seasoned, while the salad was nothing special. For mains, we tried the chicken souvlaki, the Yiaourtlou kebab, and the Kasarli kebab. The Kasarli kebab was the star, absolutely delicious till the last bite. All the grills were fresh, flavorful, and served in generous portions. The service was great too. A recommended spot for anyone craving quality Greek souvlaki and grilled meats.

This is by far the best greek restaurant I've been to. 90% of the customers were Greek which shows how good it is. The food was delicious and the portions were HUGE so order only a few dishes and share them.

We had a late lunch here before entering the National Park nearby. The waiter was really fast and also a good English speaker. He helped us choose traditional food and fulfilled some other special requests.

Excellent and friendly service. The place was extremely busy, however, the service was very quick and the food was absolutely delicious. We especially enjoyed the beef and chicken kebobs - their restaurant’s signature dish. We had a wonderful experience and look forward to going back again soon. The only place in the area with delicious and clearly marked vegan options. The beyond meat main was fantastic and looked just like the meat plates. The falafel tahini pitta, roast peppers and the smoked aubergine dip were all great too! All food was good value, and the staff very friendly!

There are several good tavernas in the small town of Nea Makri but The President is the best by a long way. The staff are friendly and attentive, and they remember you if you've been in before. We had dinner here three times in our week long holiday. Food is just outstanding, best Greek food I've tasted. The Shish Pork is to die for as are the Kebabs. Don't make the mistake we did and order The Presidents Meal if there are only two of you. It's enormous!! The Vice Presidents Meal is way more than enough for two at half the size and gives you a perfect variety of skewer meats. The drinks menu is very good and a small bottle of ouzo to share after a meal is a must. Prices are really great value too. The restaurant itself is very nice, clean and bright with plenty of tables so even when it was busy we always got a table. Loved this place and couldn't fault it

Food was good and tasty while the portions were good size, prices are also nice. It is a self service, we had to figure that out and while we were looking to the menu one waiter told us and then it was confirmed. The view is also nice, if you are hungry and want to eat decent and something tasty it's a lovely spot

It used to be such a great place, with amazing food. Not any more. The pita with kalamaki was cold and probably made in the morning. For 3.80 euros I would expect home made not supermarket bought kalamakia. The beer was stale and hot. Not going there again.

We ordered two Gyros pitas chicken souvlaki, and two Cokes—13 euros total for really good food. The cashier was a bit unfriendly and uninterested, but the server who brought the food was very friendly. Had to get the drinks myself.

The service was superb. The location excellent and the view beautiful. Living in the US and being used to maple syrup and waffles only for breakfast, I was not impressed but my guest was, having Nutella on her waffle. It’s popular in Greece.

A bit different here to your local taverna. You find your table then go into the main building to order and pay for your food and drink. You carry your own drinks back to the table, then the waiter will bring your food. Drinks are cheap - €2.40 for a 500ml beer, €2.50 for 500ml wine. A plate of gyros meat is €9.40 and is plenty for a normal human. And it is tasty. Both pork and chicken are excellent (they do a mixed plate, which I had) and come with either a tzatziki (pork) or a hollandaise (chicken) sauce (you get both with the mixed plate). Bit of a kerfuffle if you like lots of cold beer but, otherwise a great place to eat. Apologies for the photo - I was very hungry and forgot to photo the food before consuming. As you can see there is nothing left!

Nice choice for Asian cuisine. The place was super busy on Sunday around 13:00 We were two persons one had the buffet and the other one had à la cart. Was a bit slow on service but it was super busy. I will go again

Quite a nice find in Nea Makri. Not very spicy, but they will bring you a side of chilli. Good service and clean venue. Enjoyed and will return.

A European version of Chinese food, but many things are fried. The sushi in buffet doesn’t have fresh fish, rather cooked, didn’t like it. The ingredients they use in buffet are generally not so good, taste greasy. It’s overall ok but a bit overpriced.

Loved the food and the stuff’s kindness. We had surprisingly good steamed dumplings, prawns with vegs , rice and salad with sweet and sour sauce. They treated us with fried ice cream.

We ordered take away, 2 main courses, beef and pork, plus steamed rice. Service was quick (at around 4pm). Prices were only just ok. Actual food was very average. LOTS of sliced capsicum: I can only assume it's in season and therefore cheap. Beef was very tough. Nowhere near as good as the same dishes we have eaten in Vietnam. I can only think that food has been adapted to Greek taste somehow.

Authentic Asian cuisine in a relaxed setting. Having compared menus with other asian restaurants in the Attica area, we picked Vietnam Restaurant after perusing the menu and location. The staff were very friendly (to kids as well), the food was authentic-especially the 'hot' dishes (mongolian beef)- the chef didn't tone down the level of spice but it could be spicier. Would like to see pork buns on the menu though and more oriental decor indoors for full-on asian effect. Really nice experience. Children loved it. Totally recommend.

Friendly and great atmosphere. Food was brilliant. Only issue is they don't tell you how big the portions are. Watch out for that.

The seafood was excellent, well cooked, and fresh! If you have a to choose between fried or grilled calamari, go with the grilled, you'll thank me later. The saganaki had a light and not to thick crust, so that you could enjoy the main ingredient, cheese! The fresh fish was delish and meaty. The staff is welcoming and hospitable.

One of the prettiest gardens in Nea Makri covered by an outstanding grape arbor and a view of the sea! Nea Galini is a fish tavern with great specialties such as barley with shrimps (kritharoto me garides), clams with cheese (midia saganaki), kalamarakia of course and grilled octopus. The stews are home made by the owner’s mother Vivy, such as mousakas and imam. Meat dishes are also available. In the summer months the streets surrounding the Nea Galini tavern are pedestrianized, but there is private parking available for customers. Open from 12:00-00:00

Food was misleading. Ordered the fish soup and it was just a vegetable soup. No great or accurate taste and bad service. Asked for a receipt and tried to cheat me by only giving me the order paper. Only positive might be their fresh grilled fish but didn’t try them. Their salad was ok. Gave them 2 chances , not going back for sure. They don’t make the traditional recipes for somethings but problem is they do not inform you in advance.

Delfini Beach and Restaurant was an amazing surprise! The food was excellent – fresh, flavorful, and beautifully served. The service was outstanding – the staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. And the cocktails? Absolutely perfect – balanced, refreshing, and delicious. We are happy and returning customers for many many years now. From going to the beach to eating lunch or dinner everything is always amazing and we never change it. The best experience though was last week when with the help of Petros and the amazing stuff of Delfini we had the most amazing dinner at the beach. Everything was beyond awesome, the food was excellent and the ambiance of eating near the sea was breathtaking. Definitely recommend!!!

We visited the beach bar twice in two days as it was perfect for our family. The beach beds were comfy and close to the sea. Waiter service was spot on and not pushy at all. We had some fantastic food from the restaurant, fresh and extremely tasty. Not over priced and great value for money. Very chilled and not too busy.

Love the beach, the ocean and the food at this beach club. Family owned business, they go aout of their way to make sure you have a great experience. Try their biftekia, home made and the best I've ever had. And their salads are quite different and delicious.

This family-run resto at a great beach location was really a highlight of our trip here in this part of northern Athens (Dikastiká) dotted with villas. The vibe is very modern and the staff takes EXCELLENT care of you from the beach area to the restaurant service. Not exactly sure what the negative reviews were about but Petros and his family treated my partner, our three girls and our nanny with A++ care. The fresh grilled fish at the restaurant is a particular bright spot. While a bit higher priced than other restaurants in the area, it’s well deserved for the quality service they provide. Really the place to be if spending any time here in the Marathonas/Schinias area.

I finally got my octopus in Greece, and it was worth the wait. As many say here the octopus is excellent, well they aren’t wrong. Tender and delicious are not two words I often use when describing a massive tentacle, but then again here it is. All the other fare of a traditional Greek taverna as well

The location is great, directly on the water. Unfortunately I had one of the worst risottos ever. Made with parboiled rice, which doesn't absorb water very well, it was basically boiled rice with a mussels sauce. I think the mussels were fresh, but the risotto was miserable.

I would dare to say, the best restaurant in the area! I have eaten few days here and here are some photos of the food, the fish is exeptional!

The food was reasonable, but the "main courses" did not justify the price and the service was poor. The owner was antipathetic and the waitress tried her best, but they could not cope with the number of visitors (even to get the bill we had to call the waitress 3 times), and finally to pay with Apple Pay we had to go up the stairs to the restaurant (and I am a disabled woman). Bottom line, the price did not justify the value

A very nice traditional tavern. The food while not bad, it doesn't offer any surprises either good nor bad. The service is ok and the people are very polite. The atmosphere is what one would expect from a traditional seafood tavern next to the sea in Greece and the space is arranged neatly a d with a welcoming vibe. Overall it is a very good choice for lunch or dinner.

Great seafront taverna specialising in fish. As is usual in Greece, you can choose your fish from the chiller and decide what quantity you want. an absolutely perfect setting right by the water. The waiter was very reserved initially but became friendly when we started speaking some Greek.

Very good quality of food, service could be faster. Not equal treatment of customers - only some receive sweets on the house. And yes, they ask at the beginning if you pay cash or card, and the reason is unknown...

Stopped by for a quick bite and the restaurant is spacious and beautiful. The service was quick by Greek standards and the food although weird by American standards was hot and well seasoned. We ordered the "hamburger" which when it came out was a hamburger patty covered in tomatoes and the sliced bread on the side. The patty itself wasn't very good, probably frozen at some time, but the tomatoes were amazing and the dish was satisfying. The employees were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely return.

My family and me have an amazing time here, again and again. Food is good and rightfully priced, the overall atmosphere and service is 10/10. These are the type of places we should be promoting more.

Christos Tavern is a tradition for our family, we go there every year that we come to Greece. The owner is very warm with us and the staff knows very well their job. All their plates are wonderful and the greek traditional decoration is our favorite. We love this place!

Every time I come to Greece with my husbant we go Christos Tavern, their meat is fresh and soft, and their apetizer delicious. We really enjoy eating there while it has also nice decoration and owns a parking outside, something very important in Athens with this traffic.It is our favorite tavern in Athens!

This is the ultimate all day hotspot. I’ve had their coffee before my dip in the water at the beach across the street. The Freddo cappuccino was excellent, their beer is cold and refreshing, plentiful and the variety is fantastic! From the food menu, after my swim I had the Lucas special burger and it was just amazing, juicy and full of flavor. The aioli was excellent and complemented the accompanying potatoes. The staff is very knowledgeable and professional, always attentive, but at the same time not overwhelming.

Wow! Best meal we had in Greece in 10 days. The food was outstanding. Clean place. Great service. Courteous staff. The beef was so tender. The desert was Devine.

A group of us (6) had the very good fortune to dine in Lucas a few weeks ago & the food was delicious & there was lots of it , it was so good we went back the following evening & we were treated like Royals, we met the owner & he had better English than we had & was very generous, giving us desserts to share as we had declined the liquor shots the evening before very generous of him. I eat two nights in the Taverna Gorgona! The food is fresh and delicious. I loved fried small Squid, Greek salad, fried sardines, eggplant salad, fried zucchini. The 0.5 liter local white wine is light and perfect for the seafood. The servers are very friendly, respectful and very welcoming. They offered us a complimentary dessert of homemade Greek yogurt.

After arriving in Athens this morning, we made our way to Nea Makri for one night before we visit our first island. We had this beautiful taverna across from our hotel. The service was excellent, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was very relaxing. I forgot to take photos of everything that we ate. We had Kalamari, Salad, fried zucchini chips, a nice piece of Pork Steak which was so tenderly cooked it went down well. We had a Fava dip which is made from peas which went down well with the beautiful bread. A great start to our holiday in Greece.

We, 4 adults, had lunch with greek salad, fried zockiny, eggplant salad, grilled sardines, pork stake and shrimp pasta for 2 persons. All in all with water and 0,5L home made wine 80 euros. Great value for money! Very recommended.

AVOID this restaurant at all costs. This was a truly awful experience. The restaurant was filthy, with flies and mosquitoes everywhere. We were bitten by something, which left our skin red and itchy. When we politely asked to change tables, the staff was initially unwilling. After we insisted, they reluctantly moved us, but one staff member dismissively said, "everywhere is the same." The food was also extremely disappointing. The portions were tiny. The grilled octopus was highly burnt, horrible. I have attached a picture of flies walking on our table as proof of the unhygienic conditions.

We had a lovely evening meal for two here last night. Starters and main were delicious, especially the fried zucchini, shrimp risotto and pork chop! The special homemade dessert was amazing too! Food and drinks very reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend this place!

We had the best time and food at Avra Beautiful views and the loveliest staff. The owner, Effy (Efthimia) was unstoppable, and beyond the food we ordered, she offered us ice cream, the most beautiful yoghurt with stewued quince and a plate of juicy Rock melon and Watermelon 🍉 😋 what an amazing spot and the friendliest people ❤️

Delicious grilled meats! Charming atmosphere for a hearty meal with fresh salads and amazing selections for souvlaki, sausage and other grilled delights. We would definitely visit again!

We had the chicken souvlaki along with some house wine, and it was absolutely delicious. We enjoyed it so much that we came back a second time during our stay. The owner is incredibly friendly and passionate about sharing stories and insights about Greek food, which made the experience even more special. Tip: if you arrive a little earlier in the evening, you’ll have the chance for a nice chat before it gets busy. Definitely a spot I’d highly recommend if you’re in the area!

wow, i had never had such a tasty pork in my life. usually i dont eat pork but this was outstanding. it was good quality, perfectly grilled, tasteful and also tender. the side dishes are also excellent. the owner is attentive, nice, knowledgeable. the place is quiet, it has a great mediterranean atmosphere. just because of this restaurant i feel sorry to leave athens.

A good place to eat with a very large menu to choose from. We had brunch and evening meals here several times. Staff were really attentive and friendly even during busier times. We mostly ordered crepes and omelettes and they were great and plentiful. I asked for a change to one of the fillings in an omelette and it wasn't any trouble at all. The iced vanilla coffee was amazing and refreshing on hotter days.

The owners are fantastic and beyond accommodating, such a lovely family. Service was amazing, accommodated for our large group better than any restaurant around, food is fresh and tasty. Can’t say enough great things!

Delicious pizza and quick service. 2 pizzas, cocktail, garlic bread and a cola for around €38

Argentine style steaks grilled masterfully to perfection by the chef and his team. The rump steaks ordered was the chef’s choice for our table and was rustic inch-thick cuts with satisfying chew. Honorable mention goes to the accompanying spicy sauces and beef burger patties, with the required crunch from the crust and bursting with flavour from top grade mince. Looking forward to my next visit to try a fattier cut, rare. The high quality meats and grill skills means that the taverna gets busy, so reserve a table.

The journey coming to this place is amazing as it is near the Athens dam with an amazing view. There is plenty enough space for carpark opposite the resto. They also allow pets inside (my favorite thing about Greece ❤️) They have an alfresco dining experience as the view is amazing.

Amazing Argentian restaurant. The meat is really well cooked. The quality is great. The stuff is really friendly and the service is fast. It was the 1st time we tried Argentinian food and we really enjoyed. We will visit Matambre again for sure some time. Totally recommended 👌. Ps. Try the traditional pies. You'll remember us.

My husband and I went on a Saturday evening with the kids. Since its close to the lake, we thought of it as an excursion. The place is located on a high hill, with beautiful view. The staff was friendly and served us quickly (though there were few customers inside). On entrance they asked us for covid certificates. We ordered a beef stake for two, a sausage and a tagliata. The meat was very good but the fried potatoes were slightly overcooked and left a "burnt" aftertaste. Other than that, the place was nice but the windows (and their frames) could use a renovation since they seemed used. The prices are logical. Paid 70€ as family. Overall, a positive experience. Will certainly go again.

We stopped for lunch, and ordered the large house salad, portion of grilled meat with roast potatoes, 1/2 litre of wine, water and two espressos, all for €21! Fantastic value, incredible flavours and with an outstanding panoramic view of mountains, sea and sky. Hosts were most amiable.

This restaurant is truly excellent—such a pleasant place with the sea just a few meters away. The atmosphere is relaxing and welcoming. The service is spectacular; the staff are always attentive and ready to guide you through the typical local dishes, making every dinner a unique experience. We had an amazing evening. Service, food and atmosphere were the Greece we’ve always dreamed about. The small bay is so calm and beautiful. Everything was simple, fresh and just perfect. I highly recommend this spot!!!

We really enjoyed our meal here. The staff were lovely and the food equally as good! It’s situated in a beautiful setting looking out to sea, and we found it to be relatively quiet for a Friday evening. The only downside (which is obvs at no fault to the restaurant)- we ordered the sea bass, which was delicious, but there were so many wasps that began to swarm around us it sort of spoiled that part of the meal.

The restaurant has a good vibe, by the sea where locals frequent. People can plunge into the sea for a dip also. The dishes we had were good. My grilled octopus was a little over done, but the others in our party were happy. Simple food with focus on the main ingredient

Excellent and exceptional food made from fresh ingredients. Nothing like regular restaurants. We ate here twice during our trip - this was the best meal of the trip. Only 2 small minuses - restrooms require a litlle renovation and all the tables are smoking area. If no one next to You smokes, then it’s fine, cuz it’s all outdoors, but they should at least make a non smoking zone.

Slow cooked pork belly and cheese pie drizzled with honey were our favourites. Pork cutlets were nicely grilled and oven baked aubergine with cheese was also beautifully cooked and tasty. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere makes it worth visiting.

Great family run restaurant where the waiter knew exactly what he was serving and recommended the best dishes. The veal with spaghetti was certainly the best I ever had, the pork neck from my wife was also excellent. The simple Greek salad was a treat with the best tomatoes and cucumber. And at a good price. The daily specials are indeed very special, these people know how to spoil their customers.

Great food great service. 15 of of on family vacation had a great time. As a chef I asked to see kitchen and ended up coming in next day to make moussaka and Greek rice awesome. And spot less kitchen.

Atmosphere is very peaceful nice location, service was good, staff was nice and friendly. Food was below average, the fries were soggy, the feta cheese pie with honey was alright, still tasty, and the meat tasted fine. Not too bad but not the best.

Customer service was good and they helped us with the menu. Atmosphere was nice, place clean and from the tv you could watch football. Portions were well sized and tasty from Greek cuisine to beef stakes. Beef stakes took quite a long time to make and meanwhile the rest of our table had already finished their meals. Would have been better if the staff told us that the stakes will take a long time to make. Overall a really good place in the area and would visit again.

I looked everywhere in Nea Makri to find the traditional accidentally vegan Greek dishes I kept hearing about and finally found them here. We had giant bean stew (gigantes), two types of vegan stuffed peppers and vegetables (one of the fillings was sweeter and had raisins, the other was the traditional rice filling ), dolmades and olives. All food was incredible, would definitely recommend.

Honest, cozy and family friendly place! Traditional Greek tavern with friendly people serving with a big smile! You have to try grilled "zygouri" (ribs from middle aged lamb which is amazing), handmade french fries and the fresh green salad with white grilled cheese, all accompanied with the house red wine!! It really worth a ride until there!!

You will be surprised by the 5 stars, I am not very easy with this mark. What can possibly have a taverna in the village of Grammatiko that deserves top mark? HONESTY and HOME TASTE. You will be greeted with a smile, served with politeness and enjoy the well cooked food. All this at a modest cost. If you are in the vicinity, go for it..

I have been to this fantastic restaurant many times everytime I visit Greece and Neya Makri from around 2016.. this place has one of the best seafood I have ever had and variety.. the taste is always great (dummer and winter)... the staff are super nice and friendly.. the wine is also great... perfect location in front of the sea... highly recommended.

We caught the tail end of a busy session for them. We waited 40 mins to get our order taken, they were very apologetic. However the excellent food and wine came out quickly. Thoroughly enjoyed everything we had and very good value. The grilled prawns were especially amazing.

We ate here on our last night of holidaying in Marathon, a short walk from our hotel. The service was great and they couldn’t do enough for us. My wife has a gluten intolerance and they worked around that perfectly. Attentive throughout the evening and glad we managed to drop on this restaurant. The food was amazing and fresh. Seated by the beach as the tide came in made it a fitting end to our holiday. Thank you.

We visited on a Sunday around lunchtime- it was a medium busy time, yet no one acknowledged us, no one came to pick up the dirty plates from previous customers on the table, and obviously no one came to take our order. We tried to get their attention several times but they turned their eyes away. We stayed for 20' and then left. We visited another lovely tavern further down the road and had a wonderful meal. Bad attitude, unlikely we'll be back.

Best Seaside restaurant. The food is fantastic, the portions are generous and moderate prices makes it having dinner while watching the full Moon Rising over the sea, pricelless.

Some of the food was mediocre. Sardines delicious as were the chips!! Red mullet below average. Tomatoes tasted like cucumbers, but cabbage salad was good.

Had a reservation on a busy Sunday, 3 adults and 2 children..No host, we found our table ourselves. Bread was served 40' later (I had to go in and say that I've been waiting with two hungry children for 20'), couple of the dishes we ordered were never served yet charged - once and even two times.. What a disappointment..

Definitely going on my list as one of the most highly recommended places in Athens! Great atmosphere too and friendly staff, you'll feel right at home and have a lovely evening for sure.

Since 1975, it is impressive that this family business remains active exactly the same on same location for ages! I had the chance to see Mr. Andreas after so many years and recalled the traditional snails 🐌 recipe, Greek hime made stew and traditional roasted lamb. Such dishes are still there since 1980s!

A value for money option, that serves greek food. Tip, avoid days and hours where there might be a peak of visitors, as you might not be served in a timely manner.

The food was great. The atmosphere and design were exactly what you should expect of it, in a good way. The service was a bit slow but all in all a good experience.

Our family of 7 (plus infant) ate so well here. Service was excellent. Our waiter was kind and hospitable. The meal was memorable. Tummies and souls filled.

I've been visiting this place for more than a decade. It has excellent quality of products and the price is right. Since it offers many mezedes/starters that come fried it is really important that they don't sit heavy on the stomach and they don't smell at all (I think they also use their own home grown oil for that reason). The quantity in many products is intended for two people. If you happen to visit in winter their "kotsi" is unforgettable but order in advance because it is one of those greek foods that takes time to prepare. It is also open for coffee and dessert like Greek delicacy "loukoumades". The coffee is not amazing compared to a regular coffee shop (to be fair nobody in the area offers excellent coffee) but the morning or evening view opposite the sea and the tranquility make up for it. If you want affordable amazing treats for your belly do not miss out on this little gem.

First of all we would like to thank Cafe Del Mar Meze for the lovely lunch, it was just amazing. We had some local appetizers and this beautiful tasty fish, food quality was great, service and staff were excellent.

Great choice not only for coffee, but to eat too in Marathon. The portions are generous, the food delicious and the vfm ratio is quite high. You also get a first-row view to the sea and the beach is right across the road.

MAKRIA. What a mess! We were waiting for 20’ to order. When we ordered the waiter told us that both dishes were unavailable. It took another 15’ for us to decide. We ordered again. The first dish arrived after 20’ and then the waitress told us that they run out of sardines. We had to stay with the one dish and the salad. So we ordered some extra bread. After 10’ they told us that they run out of bread too! Amazingly unprofessional. Best part maybe, the hairy young waiter who knew the mess and kept apologizing. 1hour plus of total mess. AVOID!

We walked up and down the street to find the same two menus at every restaurant but this one. This restaurant has a unique menu, good selection of local beers, quick turnaround, and good service. If you like different seafood and pasta this is a great option, and it has some other options for picky eaters.

Very nice place with good food. Super helpful Chef. I was sick and had to leave the restaurant allthough it was so nice. The Chef took his car and drove my wife to a pharmacy and to our hotel. The medicin helped very good, so I was able to fly home next day.

Location is absolutely scenic and romantic. Great service. Food is good, varied and tasty. Portions are huge and filling. We ordered the Penne, which was under cooked although we had asked for it to be well cooked. Rest of the dishes were very good.

As soon as walking into the restaurant we were welcomed with a very friendly atmosphere. They automatically serviced us to cater for us language wise as they knew straight away we are English. They provided us with an English menu, food was lovely tasting and this is coming from a fussy eater. Portion sizes are great and fair with price. Beautiful view if sitting outside. We had a lovely conversation with our Waitress who took great interest in us as well as us taking interest in them. Out of all restaurants and countries I have visited, politest and most friendly country as well as stunning history attractions. It's worth every second spent here. Thank you for a beautiful meal and service.

This a place with history of good food and beautiful environment by the sea. I think people can swim there during the day. It used to be a traditional (seafood mostly) Greek tavern, for many years. For the past few years it has transformed into a wooden deck restaurant, with more particular but still tasty dishes. I loved the potato salad with octopus and the Athenian salad with the fish of the day. Dishes full of flavor that make you feel full despite the fact they are just appetizers. I went there in beachwear but there were people dressed for the night. The ambience is warm and pleasant, the stuff is very polite and the service is fast and professional.

A chaos in the kitchen and in the service. The food was brought very slowly. They mixed up all the bills. The receipts are in Greek, so you can’t check if they’re scamming you or not. It’s extremely overpriced for the quality. They brought the seafood, and only after we finished eating did they bring the lemon. We definitely do not recommend this place.

It was mid August, we visited for lunch and he restaurant was empty. We asked if they had fresh fish apart from the starters etc. They said they had. We had to wait for at least one and a half hour for the fish and for sure it was out of the freezer. Very disappointing experience because we used to visit very often the restaurant but then we found out that the owner has changed.

It's a café by the shore of N. Makri, Attica. Coffee is excellent, especially Greek coffee if you prefer it, which you can enjoy watching the sea. And the inner space is great too, especially on winter time. You can imagine why. You can have a coffee, a drink, a snack or something relaxing and watching the sea.

Love this place! The only one open for breakfast on a Thursday morning. Awesome waiter and the view & atmosphere was not at all bad, and hardly anyone around. The coffee was amazing & breakfast was tasty. Did not expect this to be the place it was but will definitely come back.

Came here because it looked like a nice place to eat at, the decor can’t be faulted but the food was bad. Ordered a steak medium rare but came out well done and fatty. Chips were also super bland. No service so wasn’t asked once if the food was okay, only at the end when we decided to just leave and hand over the money. Food service slow for a place that was quiet and we was the only table who ordered food so a steak isn’t hard to cook if yore a good chef. Shame coz if the food was nice we would be back!

We have been to many greek taverns within the last two weeks and this one was the best so far. Superb fried zucchini and eggplant salad (don't ask how much garlic there 😜). The french fries were the best in Greece, wow. So crispy we haven't got them anywhere. And there was the grilled meat. 🤩🙃.We actually didn't want some because we had some every day the last few days. But we ordered some lamp chops and as the waiter was a good salesman some grilled chicken. 😊. Luckily we did it because the meat was awesome tasty and perfectly grilled. Well done 👍. Great team. Very fair priced and every cent worth.

A Bit More Detailed We had such a fantastic dinner! The entire meal was a delight, and the meat sausages from the grill were a definite highlight—perfectly cooked and so flavorful. We also really enjoyed the eggplant salad. The restaurant itself is beautiful, with lovely flowers that add to the wonderful atmosphere. On top of everything, the service was outstanding—very friendly and attentive. This is a must-visit for anyone who loves great Greek food!

I cannot recommend this restaurant enough! It is situated in the non-touristy Schinias area and the food is very authentic and inexpensive, not to mention the generous portions. Both Dimitry and Katherine are excellent waiters. This family-ran restaurant is my favorite in all of Greece!

Awesome grill house in Nea Pendeli, its Souvlaki and gyros are amazing. The Souvlaki which basically is chicken or pork meat is so soft, tasty, clean and well grilled. The gyros likewise. Both styles are highly recommended! They make great french fries as well! Service is fast and friendly. There are a few tables outside but you may feel a bit squished since the pavement is narrow and space is limited. Of course take away and delivery service are also available if you prefer to eat at your home. If you are in the area you definitely need to have a tasty break at “Plateia”, it’s worth it big time!

The worst pita souvlaki I've ever had in my life (and I'm Greek, so I've had lots of them)! I was shocked by the low quality! Pita was super hard and the meat and potatoes were probably cooked the previous day and just warmed up when served to us. Don't bother at all!

The food here is excellent! I especially enjoyed the fried anchovies. There’s more than just fish on the menu, including tasty meat skewers and Armenian specialties. The service is friendly; the waiter makes an effort to speak English, even if it’s not perfect. The only drawback is that the atmosphere feels a little run-down.

Possibly the best & most authentic Greek cooking I've tasted in Attica! Great varied menu & includes options for "small salads" which is a refreshing change for solo diners who want to have more than one course. Delicious grilled squid & amazing grilled potatoes in olive oil & fresh herbs. Service was top class and included mosquito spray bottle on arrival (just in case), hot hand towels after main course and complimentary dessert! Good wine served by the glass or bottle in proper wine glasses, white linen table cloths. Top quality food & service at very very reasonable prices. 💯 percent recommend this understated, friendly restaurant. Thanks for a lovely last evening at the end of my holiday in Greece!

A great taverna right next to LA Costa bar. The owner Artem is originally from Armenia. He has Armenian hospitality in his blood. Artem is a very warm and friendly person. The atmosfere here is great. At 7 pm on a Tuesday, it was not very crowded. Here, you can try something interesting, like seafood musaka, which is apparently common in Nothern Greece. Seeously, you should try it. It would not be Armenian-Greek restaurant without some Armenian food. They have real Armenian shashlik, which is similar to sulvaki, but it stands on its own. Very reccomended. Their homemade yogurt and gelo desert was amazing. Everything is not just tasty. It is also presented beautifully. If I were again in Nea Makri, it would be my go-to restaurant.

I’m coming to this place every summer since almost more than two decades. The place is very nice, the kitchens prepares lovely meals and the service is up to the standard with very kind and welcoming personnel. However over the years the cost of the sun beds became almost ridiculous. 10€ for a set of sun beds also during the week days is unreasonable especially considering the nearby beach bars competition in marathonas beach and Skinias bay that offer better seaside at comparable if not lower costs.

I was there yesterday with my girlfriend. We enjoyed grilled sardines, tzatziki, and a very tasty gilthead sea bream. The food was delicious, the service really friendly, and the atmosphere was great. The waitress even let me choose the fish and later filleted it at the table. Also, the waves were crashing right next to us, which felt very romantic. When the sun went down and the lights lit up the water, it got even more beautiful.

It was an absolute great discovery and a pleasant surprize for us! Amazing food! Think of eating traditional Greek cousine with an elegant twist. Not experimental but soft little touches like fig and onion pickes over fava below a very softly cooked octopus, or a tarama salata with a very original texture and taste. Soft ambient music, sitting right over the sea, cool breeze and perfect service makes your average lunch into a romantic feast. We love food and Greek food has a special place for us; Greece in general has quite a high standard of dining BUT this restaurant is something else. In terms of pricing it's an average Athens retaurant price, but with much higher taste experience and service. If you ever come nearby don't miss the chance to stop by. We are (were) returning customers. Although we had had some unpleasant experiences before, we believed it was due to lack of efficiency. And we really liked the location. This Sunday, March 16, we made a reservation for 4pm .We were there at 4. 15. We had been given a table away from sunlight and fresh air so we had to wait twenty minutes before we were seated with a bottle of water and a basket of bread for 9 people. After several attempts to place an order and after being told not to have an attitude, we managed to place an order at 5.30. At 6 pm precisely, they brought one of the salads and dumped it on the table. We told them we were leaving. They were upset. We were astounded at the extent of their total indifference and their abysmal rudeness

This place unfortunately is one of those olaces where profit is the only goal - the service was slow, rude and not caring towards customers - the food was below average and the seating area not tidy and seems to have a side yard which is off limits and “in the forest” where it was unsafe and full of debris, mosquitos and flies. The also heavily charged the bill, 70€ more “claiming it was a mistake” and they didn’t even apologise and continued with petty jokes. Not recorded at all - a sincerely awful experience

Lovely restaurant by the sea. Excellent service, very polite- the owner is also the chef. An amazing fireplace in the inside area and a beautiful Seaview. A great option for the summer as well as it is suited exactly in front of the Marathon beach. The menu has sea plates and the fishes are fresh from the sea - we recommend you to ask the waiter to have a look at the available variety of the day so you may peek the exact size and type of wish you want. As far as parking is concerned you will find easily in the near streets.

All meat was burned and dry as well as octopus.Too much garlic in tzatziki. My advise if you come here - take fish or mixed seafood. Really good ice cream

Outstanding fish and seafood taverna. No thrills, but fish and service were perfect. Sitting just by the beach and enjoying the calmness of the evening sea added to the atmosphere.

Very nice taverna. Decent prices. Great view! Recommend shrimp saganaki and fried eggplants:)
