With two visits under my belt, I can attest to the quality of their food, particularly their delectable Turkish dishes. The reasonable prices make it a standout choice as compared to other restaurants in the area. Additionally, its proximity to Myra Antik Kenti makes it a convenient stop for tourists. The friendly staff and speedy service contribute to its popularity among locals.
The place with moderately-priced menu, wonderful food, but above all - wonderful people. We were treated like dear friends and received unique gastronomic experience!

Had the chance to enjoy lunch here during my organized trip. Not sure of the lunch price, but options included grilled chicken or doner beef, or pide to choose. As you can see in the photo, the plate was generously filled with a mix—Adana, bulgur, vegetables—plus shared tomato salad and spicy peppers. Great food, fast service, and a delicious dessert at the end.
One of the best meals we have so far in a 14-day-trip in Turkey. Food was great and the portion was REALLY large at a humble price.

Great place to stop by and return to when you travel by car. Prices are high enough, but fish is fresh and well-cooked, great version of finely cut vegetable salad.
You can also feed the fish and there are turtles in the lagoon.
Food quality doesn’t change during the course of years, we will definitely return here again when next drive-by happens:)

We had a wonderful experience at this cozy seaside restaurant. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with the calming sound of waves in the background adding a magical touch.
We ordered the sea bass, and it was absolutely delicious — perfectly cooked, fresh, and full of flavor. The service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Also here you can see big sea turtle 😉

The highlight of the meal was undoubtedly the super fresh and delicious Blue Crab, which was prepared to perfection. The sea bass was also outstanding, cooked just right and bursting with flavor.
One of the unique and delightful aspects of this restaurant is the opportunity to feed fish and caretta caretta (loggerhead sea turtles) with the leftover parts of your meal. It adds an extra layer of enjoyment to the dining experience, making it not just a meal, but an interactive and memorable outing.
The ambiance was charming, the staff were friendly and attentive, and the overall experience was simply top-notch. I highly recommend Blue Crab to anyone looking for a fresh seafood feast and a touch of nature.

It's a complete rip off. Avoid at any cost. We went there because my son wanted to taste the blue crab, and restaurant appeared to be the most established one in the neighborhood. Unfortunately, both the food and the experience was a complete letdown. Portions are basically half the portions you will find in city center Demre with double the prices. Experience bit was also complete disappointment, as the food was presented as if it is a small unprofessional restaurant in a small local town. When I highlighted my disappointment with the portion and the presentation, waiters acted completely indifferent as if what I said didn't matter, and I had to pay for the food I didn't even touch. If you are looking for good seafood with an experience that would eclipse this many times over, I recommend köşk restaurant in Finike. You will get much better food (with many tasty side dish in an exotic and unique restaurant premises) basically half the price.
I highly recommend this restaurant for an amazing fresh fish dishes! The seabass we had was a perfection, the atmosphere is great right next to the lagoon, which was such a great break from driving, and the prices are more than fair (450 TL for the grilled fish).

The best Turkish restaurant I've ever dined in. The food is really really delicious. We had a minced egg pide and a pilav rice with döner. The combination of the minced meat and the scrambled egg was outstanding. The meat was very tender and delicious, and the rice was fresh and tasty. I also had a fresh orange juice and it was marvelous. I'm so happy to have discovered such an amazing place in this small town. Thank you for giving me one of the best dining experiences of my life.

This restaurant was not too expensive and they served nice side dip dishes. I knocked off one star as they include service charge, and we gave extra as tip and they didn't say anything. We got the aubergine kebab thinking it was vegetarian but be warned it comes with meat! It was tasty though.

Avoid. Expensive for what we had. Small menu but we though everything would be well made. It was not. Tiny overcooked fish, chips OK but horrible ketchup over them which we didn't ask for. Prawns tasted OK but greasy, no bread for us because we are tourists. Other tables had baskets of bread. Waiter brought it at the end when we pointed this out but we had had enough of the place by then. Worst meal we have had in Turkey.

Nice restaurant maşallah. Their grilled cipura is highly recommended. The grilled crabs were 35 TL for 2 pieces. It was delicious but the flesh was very little. Great for snacking. Salads were also very good. Of course, the view is amazing. Endless seaview.

Very unique place. the town and the sceneries are amazing. We came by our boat. Docked to the little pier. You do not pay for the pier( you should eat there) If you wish to get electricity and water those are extra( around 400-500,tl - june 2025)very reasonable prices. Dont forget go around the little town and climb the castle.
we ordered salad and fish and they brought complementary 2 mezes. Everything was delicious. The fish was simple, fresh and great. we had also their local dessert whic was also very good. Romantic and delicious dinner at Roma restaurant. It was the only restaurant open at this time of year so we didn't expect too much but our expectations were easily exceeded! We ordered grilled sea bass, a salad and fries. Tea and baklava were offered free of charge. Everything was outstanding, service fast and very friendly. The price was very reasonable. Great place, we arrived with a boat to their dock, they give you roap and help you tie. They give you water, electricity and wifi (which is good only if you are close to the restaurant) in return - eat and drink in their place, must have supper, breakfast and lunch are bonus :)

The lady can take laundry (without drying). The village is nice, the climb to the castle is easy and worth the view. Nice beaches. It was the first restaurant we found open near Myra Ruins. We wanted to eat local and the food was delicious, even if we couldn't understand very well, because the owner/cook didn't speak english. But if you want an authentic turkish food experience I recoomend it! Really nice and clean place!

Notably friendly service from the owner who even gave a child a real crystal as a gift.
Very nice place with a charming view. We were here in early November - the water is incredibly warm and there are no people at all. The restaurant is very cozy, with character, there is a good pleasant atmosphere. This is still the best place I've ever been to the beaches of Turkey. I HIGHLY recommend!

Very cool place! The food was honestly superb. I feel that the prices were pretty similar to New York City so maybe a bit high for Demre. But then again, the place is beautiful and it is right on the beach. The sand is literally right next to the patio. So overall, a beautiful spot on a serene beach and I definitely recommend it.
Rather isolated little beach cafe, deserted in June. Dirty gravel road. Nothing but a few folks and their dogs. Atmosphere is all beach, sand, surf, sun, old wood. Quiet, waves crashing. Sand is a bit messy. Lounges are old wood,uncomfortable.
Music is definitely a plus for this place. Not too loud, western, soulful. Springsteen. Makes you want to sit longer and soak up peace in this world. Everything thing will be ok.
WC is an outhouse. Service was a tad grumpy the day we visited.

Great music and atmosphere. Loved hearing mix of 70s psychedelics rock, jazz and electronic music. Beautiful beach. The food was good as well. We ordered fish, a burger and pasta for a child. Pasta and fish came with some vegetables and grilled cheesy mushrooms. The fish was especially delicious. The owner was nice to us, even gave our child a real crystal as a present. Yes, there are wild dogs on the beach, but they are everywhere here. Some were very friendly and wanted to be pet. Others didn’t care about us, but quarrelled among themselves. The restaurant’s cat joined us at the table immediately, but we love animals so we didn’t mind and shared some food. I’d happily comeback to this magical place.

Great place. Soo much fun. It’s a strange mix Pirates , kiwi Aussie and all sorts of other stuff. Your boat skipper may well take you there.
We planned on coming here and 1 day before called the owner. I told him that 11 people are coming for 1 night. He was texting me all evening asking us what kind of dinner we would like etc. I loved that and I was looking forward to spending the night at Smugglers Inn.
We got there and oh my! I felt just like at home right away. They showed us around, took us on the boat to swim in the cave, cooked delicious dinner with grilled chicken, fish, salads and so much more...disco in the evening with a great music.
The plan was to go to leave the next morning and guess what- we didn't. We just didn't want to leave.
They made us delicious breakfast, took us swimming again, entertained us with the ridding on the mattress, haha that was so much fun.
In the evening we had an amazing dinner with seafood.
Overall, this is a must visit stop,I highly recommend it and can't wait to visit again!!!

I visited a small restaurant called Uzun Ali'nin yeri while exploring Turkey on a rented bicycle. The place was managed by Hassan and his mother, who were doing an excellent job. Hassan spoke English fluently and had a warm smile that reflected his kind-hearted nature. He graciously allowed me to visit his kitchen and answered my occasional curious questions with enthusiasm.

I often visit this place as I feel very welcomed here. Uzun Ali’s son Arif abi is a person of a gem. He makes sure that the delicious food served to you is accompanied by a joyful conversation. Fish, meze and breakfast are stellar. The way they serve the breakfast is in Istanbul standards, if not better. Plus there’s quality filtered coffee which is rather difficult to find in Demre (you can even opt for mocha pot). Lastly, you can comfortably visit this place during winter as there’s a wood burning stove.

We made a quick stop at ETCİ ABAY restaurant for breakfast before catching our flight. Fortunately, we were promptly served and the food was incredibly delicious. The butter was exceptional.
