Restaurant
Located in Killington, VT, Choices Restaurant & Rotisserie has been a beloved dining spot for over 35 years. The restaurant offers an extensive menu featuring diverse options such as fresh pasta, seafood, rotisserie meats, and homemade burgers. Guests can also enjoy flame-roasted prime rib on weekends and holidays. The casual yet upscale eatery is family-friendly and features a charming old-school wrap-around bar where patrons can grab a beer or snack.
Still a great place. Original owner has passed on, but the new owners are keeping pretty true to the original vision. Food, bar and service are top shelf without being over the top in price. Everything was excellent!

Overall a good dinner! Neptune seafood ravioli was very good and nicely seasoned. Rotisserie chicken was good with crispy skin, tender meat, and wonderful sauce. The escargots were bland and could have benefited from more garlic and salt. Dan was super accommodating and attentive at the bar. Overall, a good food experience.
P N — Google review
Very friendly people.. we went without reservation so we ended up sitting at the bar. It seems lots of local folks come here. Food and drinks are really good.
Chayanis H — Google review
Our service was poor, our 4-top watched a table of 8 who ordered 15 minutes after we did be served entres while we were still waiting. My date and I both ordered medium rare filet. His was MR. Mine was well done. I requested no starch and received double veggies. I had two more carrots on my plate than he had. My wine with dinner was served after dinner. I was very disappointed. The waiter could t tell me anything about the wine I was ordering. I have had more positive experiences there in the past and was surprised at the inconsistency.
Kathi C — Google review
We dined here on our family vacation and this is definitely one of my favorite spots in Killington! The food was incredible. My sister and I had the shrimp and scallops Neptune & it was great. Matt was our server and he extremely helpful and friendly! If you want excellent food and service, choices is the spot for you!
Stephanie V — Google review
One of the best spots on the mountain. Great food, service, and vibes. The spanakopita, escargot, prime rib, and everything else we tried were on point. Vermont is full of food disappointments but not Choices!
James A — Google review
We were seated quickly. No wait. Service was very slow even though the restaurant was not very busy. Food was enjoyable, but not worth the price.

Loved it here! Stopped by on a recent vacation, wasn’t sure what to expect.. was so happy! Everyone who worked there was so friendly and efficient. The food was DELICIOUS! Will definitely be back when we’re in the area!

The Foundry at Summit Pond is a charming rustic dining lodge in Killington, Vermont that has been serving visitors since 1938. It offers classic American cuisine and features a bar area where guests can enjoy live entertainment. The restaurant provides a cozy atmosphere for patrons to savor dishes like the house burger, buttermilk mixed-berry pancakes, leg of lamb, and a shrimp, scallop and scallion omelet.
We celebrated our 1 year anniversary dinner here, I asked them to seat us in a quiet location and they sat us in a little corner away from all the chaos. The drinks were delicious, the food was amazing, the service was pretty good. Our server was very nice and tried her best to be accommodating despite having a 12 person party and 2 other tables sat a few minutes after us. We highly recommend the brusheta and the street corn!! The chicken marsala (GF version) was very good but a little on the sweet side for me... this is my usual dinner meal to order when we go out so I was a little surprised by the sweetness but it was good. My husband liked his risotto, it was flavorful and filling.

Wife and I got carry out, as we just got into town. We had bacon wrapped dates, chicken marmalade, and porcini mushroom ravioli. The atmosphere was beautiful, grounds were picturesque, and staff was friendly. Food was very good and we enjoyed it. We would love to come back and dine in ! Edit - 10.23.25 Wife and I did come back for dinner ! We got bread with maple butter, pork chop, and a filet. All of it was excellent ! Defintely come in and eat !

Passed by many times, only regret is that I hadn't stopped in sooner. The Chicken Marsala was phenomenal, highly recommended. After dinner you can have drinks at the bar or the rocking chairs overlooking the pond as catfish, turtles and ducks pass by. Theres live music Thursday -Monday and dining inside and out. A must stop place.

I've been here twice. The first time we went for lunch. Food was excellent. The service is good if a little slow considering we were one of 3 tables. Considering the first visit we returned another time for dinner. This time we had drink with out food. Again, the good was good and the service was a bit slow. But the DRINKS. We ordered 5 drinks 6 OUNCE DRINKS. These 5 drinks cost a little over $120 . Tequila and soda with lime came with a $2 charge to muddle a single lime. $460 for 4 adults total. Someone managing this place must have visited Manhattan and decided their prices should reflect that.
Paul M — Google review
My boyfriend and I celebrated our anniversary at the Foundry last night and it was so spectacular. We were a little nervous because our reservation was for 7:30 and there was a line out the door that didn’t move for a good 10 minutes and we heard the hostess telling people an hour and a half wait, but we didn’t have to wait at all, as soon as we checked in at the host table, we were brought to our table and promptly greeted by our server, Chad. Chad was fantastic, very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, we were never waiting on him once. We ordered the burrata caprese to start which was phenomenal. I got the pesto gnocchi which was great and the portion was very large. My boyfriend got the mushroom ravioli which he LOVED. I don’t know the next time we’ll be back in Killington, but this is a must stop and would recommend to anyone visiting the area.
Maggie L — Google review
Excellent food with a good variety of choices. Our party ordered a wide variety and everybody enjoyed their meal. The decor was very nice and an excellent atmosphere. We were a bit upset to find out that they would not accept individual bills and we had to pay with a maximum of 6 credit cards. I've never heard that before.
Wihse S — Google review
Ample parking space, quick services, Dark view pond with a wind mill rolling, good destination wedding venue.

So loud. Don’t plan on having a conversation. Live music is too loud. Great for a bar. Not a restaurant. Ordered 2 steaks. Both overcooked. Duck wings were fabulous. Lamb chops not so much. Overcooked and tough. Beer wasn’t cold.

Tapas restaurant
The Garlic is an upscale-casual Italian restaurant and martini bar located in Killington, Vermont. The restaurant offers a variety of Italian tapas and entrees in a cozy atmosphere with hanging socks of garlic cloves and a mountain of candles welcoming guests at the entrance. The bar area provides happy hour offers with 50% off the tapas menu, making it a popular choice for visitors. However, some caution is advised regarding potential pricing discrepancies on discounted items.
This place is phenomenal. The sangria and martinis are great, the bar area is really a nice spot to hangout. They bring you this bread and garlic spread that you mix in olive oil, vinegar and salt and pepper and it's quite good. I had the garlic crusted rack of lamb and it was so good. The potatoes that came with the lamb were also super good, charred and delicious. The waitstaff is great and knowledgeable, told us a little history of the place. My girlfriend had the prosciutto tortellini and the garlic muscles. Both were great. Honestly one of the better dinners we've had here on our trip. Would highly recommend checking this place out.
Matt S — Google review
Absolutely incredible meal! Our waiter, Anthony, was fantastic—attentive, friendly, and gave spot-on recommendations. We had the seafood pasta, Alfredo with meatballs, and the lamb appetizer. Everything was outstanding. The seafood pasta had a subtle, perfectly balanced flavor that complemented the seafood perfectly, even without any cheese or cream. Portions were generous, and the food was so good I didn’t even stop to take pictures. Highly recommend!

I traveled all the way from Virginia to spend a weekend in Vermont and decided to stop by Garlic Restaurant — and I’m so glad I did! I was very surprised by the quality of the food and the excellent service. The staff was wonderful, and I had my meal at the bar where Dave took great care of me. His happiness and humor made the experience even better. Highly recommend!
Aline R — Google review
Garlic has the best food in the area! They open at 5 and that’s why there is usually a line as soon as they open. I recommend getting there as soon as they open to avoid a long wait. I could eat just the bread & garlic they serve & I’d be happy. The drinks are good & have been consistent. I’ve had the shrimp tapas, meatball sliders, & a few other tapas; all of them have been good. This time we all tried a few different pasta dishes & they were good as well. If I lived closer I would definitely come back here more often.
Eva J — Google review
Before you read my review below , I want you to consider the difficulty to running an establishment like this 365 days at this location is quite challenging. I would normally give it a 4 stars, but considering the location and its competitors, a solid 5 stars is a must. I’ve stayed at an Airbnb near Killington a few times for skiing, and to say the restaurant scene here is “average” would be generous. Last time, while driving past this restaurant with its massive garlic statue and a line of people waiting outside, I knew I had to give it a try. The next day, I found out it operates on a first-come, first-served basis, which explains the early line. If you’re not a fan of waiting, don’t worry—it’s worth it. The Garlic has a charming, cozy atmosphere, with decor that makes it feel like a rustic farmhouse in winter, creating a warm and inviting experience. Service is friendly and efficient, and the food is consistently great. While the pasta was a bit underwhelming—not bad, just not particularly exciting—the veal and steaks were cooked to perfection. The eggplant Parmesan looked surprisingly light and fresh, the wine selection was solid, and the dessert was simply delightful. Did I mentioned the garlic spread bread? This restaurant has completely changed my perception of dining in this area, and I’ll definitely be coming back for more.
Mark L — Google review
Wow where do I begin! My first time in Vermont and this was my first stop the first night I tried the warm bread with a whole garlic that had parm cheese on it and let me tell you TO DIE FOR! Than I had chicken parm with vodka sauce and that was the most delicious meal I have ever had !!! Now I came back two days later and tried some tapas. I had the Deep fried lasagna bites w/ vodka sauce and they were delicious I also had the shrimp scampi in cilantro lime sauce and I’m literally in heaven! I highly recommend this restaurant without a doubt and next time I am in Vermont I will be coming back!
Amanda S — Google review
We had mussels and the grant salad for appetizers. Best mussels I’ve ever had. Rack of lamb for entree. Outstanding. The fresh baked French bread, oil, and garlic, outstanding. Exceptional service. The atmosphere was great too.

Cozy place. For European taste buds, there could be more garlic in the meals - nothing close to a Tapas Bar or Portuguese place.. Very attentive and friendly staff. Prices on website are clearly outdated..

The Lookout Tavern in Killington, VT is a popular sports-centric haunt offering pub grub and happy hours. It features a seasonal roof deck, pool, and pinball for entertainment. Housed in Killington's first ski lodge, it has an energetic apres ski atmosphere with peanut shell-covered floors. The restaurant offers upscale bar food and heavy-handed cocktails around its iconic U-shaped bar. The Lookout Tavern also provides a free shuttle service for convenience.
Definitely a must-visit spot in Killington! The food was fantastic, and the selection of local draft beers was impressive. Outside, you can play cornhole, relax on the patio, or, if you’re lucky, grab a seat upstairs by the ledge for stunning mountain views.

The food and drinks were great! Only negative was it took 10 minutes to be greeted despite sitting at the bar on a slower day. Plenty of bar, restaurant, and outdoor seating. The Tavern Turkey and Veggie Burger were both delicious—massive portion sizes. Bathrooms were clean and there was plenty of parking. Right down the road from the Killington Ski Resort.
Tim B — Google review
The Lookout is one of our access road go to’s. We loved Bobby RIP. The food has always been reliably good and they’ve just updated the menu. Korean wings were yummy and my husband enjoyed his Maple Burner burger. We prefer the upper deck, kids love the downstairs arcade games. They’ve just repaved the outdoor seating area - well behaved pups can bring their people there. Christine is always genuinely welcoming. 🙏

The jumbo wings were really good. Their burger was ok but not my favorite. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The view from the roof top deck was really nice

Everything I had was delicious. Starting with the Brussel Sprouts just the right amount of sauce for great flavor. I had the Chicken and Waffles and was pleasantly surprised at how good the waffles were and the syrup was light and maple flavor was smooth. The chicken was moist and tender.

This place was lovely! They had Cornhole boards set up outside, and the atmosphere inside was eclectic and fun. The service, food, and beverages were all top-notch. Highly recommend if you're within an hour radius, but come early, they close at 9.

The food is America style and they have good selection of local brewed beers happy hour from 3-5 (5$ off chicken wings) spend for 1 person included drink about 20$

After many trips to Killington, Vermont, and hearing about The Lookout Tavern, I was always skeptical about trying it. I assumed it might be a typical tourist trap, especially after seeing their polished video commercial in the New England Ski Journal a few years ago. However, today I finally decided to give it a try with my daughters and niece, and I have to say—I’m so glad we did! At first glance, the place looks tiny, which only added to my initial doubts. But from the moment we walked in, the staff was pleasant, attentive, and we were seated quickly. The service was prompt, and the staff made us feel welcome right away. Now, onto the food—outstanding! We ordered classic tavern fare: burgers, sandwiches, wraps, and chicken wings. Nothing fancy, but everything was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. The atmosphere was lively and fun, making for a fantastic dining experience. And despite being a popular spot, the prices were surprisingly reasonable. Overall, I was extremely impressed and super delighted. This is definitely a place I’ll be going back to the next time I’m in Killington—which happens about ten times a season. It’s totally worth a visit for great food, friendly service, and a vibrant atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Casey's Caboose is a one-of-a-kind restaurant located in Killington, Vermont. Set within a historic 35-ton railroad snowplow car from the early 1900s, this unique eatery offers a nostalgic experience reminiscent of the era of steam locomotives. The interior features an elevated observation deck and large windows providing picturesque views of Killington.
We go to Caboose every time we come to Killington because we love their food and atmosphere and people working there. Last night we sat at the bar and ordered onion soup, French dip and burger and couple of drinks. End everything was delicious! Also had a nice chat with bartender. Very pleasant evening :)
Natalia S — Google review
I came here my second day in Vermont and was excited since it was highly recommended. I ordered an all American burger with a little pink and it was practically raw! I also ordered the Mac and cheese with pulled pork and it was not a good combination at all. The pulled pork has a very strong flavor to it and does not pair well with the Mac and cheese but alone the Mac was delicious!
Amanda S — Google review
We got onion rings for an appetizer. Light, crispy batter..and the onion did not come out when bitten through. This is very important! The fish and chips were great. My wife's burger was cooked perfect. Generous portions! The bartender is as advertized; very cordial. The waitress was great.
Randy K — Google review
Waited over 20 minutes to be seated. After 10 minutes of waiting, a man told us they had plenty of tables, but he had to find staff to seat us. Pesto primavera pasta had no flavor at all. Some acid would have helped immensely, but the waitress never brought lemon wedges after asking for them. French onion soup was too salty. Very noisy restaurant!
Joelle — Google review
Settled on Caseys Caboose for a lunch with my husband and daughter. We are glad that we did. We sat in the bar area. Our waitress was also the bartender. I was in the mood fir Sangria but it wasn’t on the menu. The waitress offered to make some for ne. It was very good. My husband and daughter both enjoyed the wing very much. Teriyaki chicken sandwich was okay, not much flavor, defensively needed more seasoning in the marinade. Chicken parm sandwich was good and the burger was very tasty, cooked perfectly. Had the feel of the local watering hole. Good vibes. We will definitely be back.
Buby D — Google review
We were seated and waited for our waitress to come over or acknowledge us, but instead she was too busy talking with customers about her life and her daughter in college in PA. No one should have to wait for over 20 minutes, so we walked out. Don’t waste your time with this business. We went elsewhere and had great service at Charity’s.
Debra S — Google review
My recent visit to Casey's Caboose was absolutely delightful! From start to finish, everything was top-notch. Our waitress was truly outstanding – incredibly attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. She made us feel so welcome and enhanced our entire dining experience. And let's talk about the food! Every dish we ordered was simply delicious. Cooked to perfection, flavorful, and clearly made with quality ingredients. To top it all off, the drinks were expertly crafted and hit the spot. Whether you're looking for a refreshing cocktail or a perfectly poured beer, they've got you covered. Casey's Caboose offers a wonderful atmosphere with exceptional service, fantastic food, and great drinks. Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area! We can't wait to go back.

The only reason I take away a star for atmosphere was the need for being able to hear everyone at my table. The musician was unplugged. He was so talented and pleasant to listen to. But with tight quarters, it was hard to hear the people I was trying to speak with. I loved the overall experience. Not trying to be a Karen. The musician was a plus, overall. It was just hard to hear important conversation.

Live music venue
Wobbly Barn is a renowned après-ski steakhouse, nightclub, and live music venue that has been a winter favorite since 1963. The restaurant is famous for its distinguished dining experience and unique ambiance created from pieces of barns collected across New England. It offers the finest beef, chops, seafood, and a world-famous soup, salad, and fresh bread bar. The celebrated nightclub hosts the best live entertainment and parties on the mountain.
This is one of the famous establishments in Killington. The Wobbly Barn is a nightclub and steakhouse, which is a unique combination, to say the least! Our food tonight was outstanding, we actually couldn't believe how good it was. The service at the bar was great as well. We couldn't recommend the Wobbly Barn highly enough for an amazing dining experience!
A R — Google review
This is an awesome sit down dinner place. It's a little pricy and owned by Killington. It apparently turns into a night club after hours but we didn't stay for that. We both had the steak and scallops which was awesome. The wait staff was fast and did a great job explaining the menu. We also had the duck poutine which was honestly the best thing we ate, and the steak and scallops were great. I am from Wisconsin and this place sort of felt like a Wisconsin supper club. It's definitely worth checking out, but be prepared for a larger bill at the end of the dinner. Oh and they had a great selection of wine and other specialty cocktails. Would highly recommend checking it out.
Matt S — Google review
A must in your ski trip! We have been coming here from over 7 years to end our ski day with a nice dinner. -No reservations are accepted. -Expect high wait times (40mins to 1.5hr) depending on busy season and around busy dinner times in the evening. Tip: The later you go the more you wait so go earlier if you can. They will not accept if one of your party member shows up and asks for a table: the entire party needs to be present. Once seated the food comes very quickly and service is excellent. Food is fantastic. They didn’t change the menu from all these years so pretty much they have been consistent. Appetizers: French onion soup - very good, we haven’t had it better then here anywhere else! Octopus appetizer with humus and garnish of vegetables is a must try if you like seafood. Very tender not chewy and seasoning/sauces are amazingly delicious. All salads are great and filling. Entrees: If you like fish then Halibut is very popular and cooked to extremely perfection. Very delicate and flavorful. Duck and chicken are also very good. Desserts: Have been having their signature creme brûlée - very rich and a shareable nice portion good for two. Chocolate cake with ice cream is also great. Wines and cocktails are great. We ordered a bottle of wine which was about $48. Pricing: A bit on the higher price range but quality and service is exceptional. Plan $80-$100 per person. We were over $360 for 3 of us.

Meh mediocre experience. There are not a lot of options in killington. We went at a little bit before six pm in a Saturday, had to wait twenty minutes for two people, the cocktails (hot toddy and Manhattan) were mediocre and not well made. My friend had salmon and green beans and said the green beans were hard and salmon was ok, that is was the least favorite meal of our ski weekend, I had the octopus appetizer which was greasy and heavy and disappointing. The scallop appetizer was on the spot and very good. Would only go back bc there are no other options available not out of choice but necessity
K. K — Google review
I've been skiing killington for years and I always thought wobbly barn was just a bar. To my surprise it was not! The octopus appatizer is a MUST have!! The Surf and turn entre was meh. Two people at my table ordered steak and it was cooked exically how the wanted. Ive been to many restaurants and work in a customer survice based industry. Our waitress sharon is what customer service is about! I would give her 12 out of 10 if I could.

Love the food here! Recommend Squash Soup, Octopus, Scallops and Pork Belly, Steak. View is also good, pine tree and snow.
Emma J — Google review
Food is okay but overpriced. Should've gone to Casey's which has cheaper steak. Ordered ribeye, NY strip, and Prime Rib. It's decent but only come with a potato or rice. Everything else is add-on. Appetizers are better but portion is small given the price. Recommend: French onion soup, Grilled octopus, Brocolli and Cauliflower with Brie (side item), and Brussel Sprouts with almonds (side item). Service is friendly until they start to get busy after 7pm.
C C — Google review
Dinner was good. Service was prompt and the salad bar looked delicious, although none of us partook. The prime rib was good as well as the poke bowl and the brussel sprouts side dish. On a side note the nightclub side of things is fun as well. Good sound system and the band was good. Not too loud where you feel like your ears will bleed. Fun place to visit for your vacation up here.

iPie Pizzeria is a casual spot with vibrant decor that offers hand-tossed pizzas made from fresh, seasonal ingredients. Whether you choose to dine in, take out, or have it delivered, they provide great value and a variety of options including gluten-free choices. The pizzeria also serves up savory wings and flavorful salads. Despite its small indoor seating area, iPie Pizzeria provides an inviting atmosphere for enjoying their thin and crunchy crust pizzas topped with high-quality ingredients.
I recently visited iPie on July 7, and I must say it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was family-friendly and fun, making it the perfect spot for both casual gatherings and special occasions. The food was absolutely delicious! The supreme pizza was bursting with flavor, perfectly balanced with fresh toppings and a crispy crust. The garlic knots were equally irresistible—soft, buttery, and seasoned just right. The service was top-notch as well. The counter staff was incredibly helpful, making sure our orders were correct and offering great recommendations with a friendly smile. Overall, iPie is a fantastic pizzeria that delivers on taste, service, and ambiance. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a memorable pizza experience!

RIYA P — Google review
Wife and I decided to try iPie after some hiking, as a carry out option so we could get the tired pup home. We went with a Greek salad, veggie pizza, and three pepper / sausage. We are from a predominantly Italian immigrant area back home where pizza is plentiful and excellent, so always on guard away from home. Staff was friendly and helpful upon pick up. Interior dining option for those who may need it looked nice with outdoor patio seating available. Salad was good and full of veggies. Thin crust pizza was prepared well. Its hard to compete with those from back home but both were solid contenders. If you are in the area and are looking for pizza, id definitely give iPie a shot ! We would come again next we are in the area.

Order 5 pizzas and 5 orders of wing on the 4th of July, they we ready as we arrived as request. they did a great job. pizza was good 7.9 had all the makings of a great pie, but was little underwhelming on flavor. the wings where about a 7.1 a bit chewy and Sauces were lackluster, expect the jerk which was a 7.4.

This place is AMAZING!!! Best pizza in Vermont, hands down!!! Classic thin crust, perfect proportions of sauce and cheese, cooked to bubbling perfection. It's not even overpriced like the rest of Killington. Fast service (even though they are always busy), friendly staff, nice drink selection, great atmosphere with tables, booths and a lounge upstairs - They even have an area with toys for kids to play. I loved their plain pie, the Supreme, and the Chicken Pesto pie. I highly recommend this place!

Awesome pizza, personnel, and atmosphere. Worker behind the counter was extremely friendly. They sell pizza by the slice for about $5 a slice give or take. Thin crispy crust that is to die for and not overloaded with options. Highly recommended.

Nestled within The Inn at Long Trail in Killington, McGrath's Irish Pub is a charming establishment that has been welcoming guests since 1938. This cozy pub captures the essence of traditional Irish hospitality, making it a perfect spot for families and friends alike. With its inviting atmosphere, it's an ideal retreat for hikers and locals looking to unwind after a day of adventure.
The best Guinness on this continent. No exaggeration..they know how to pour a Guinness. The food is great too - We love the onion soup, twice baked Irish spuds, reuben, Guinness stew, apple crisp, salads especially. The owner Murray is the best, as are his staff. This is a must visit. Every chance you get.

A gem in the Vermont Green Mountains Traditional Irish cuisine in a comfortable pub setting No music the afternoon we visited but it must be raucous when in session

Hiked the trail.. Next to the restaurant in mid October 20 25 and then came in for the most amazing surprise.. This place is an angel stop for hikers and incredible staff and food. We will definitely be back.!!! A must stop ..! The chicken pot pie and the beef stew off the chart🙌🏻🙌🏻

Best Shepherd’s pie I’ve ever had! French onion soup was also great, and so was the bread! We went here on St Paddy’s weekend after a day at Killington and it did not disappoint. The Guinness is delicious and the staff is friendly.

Hands down the best Irish pub in New England. The atmosphere, food, drink, staff, and music leave nothing to be desired. Always happy to be here.

Chicken sandwich was just okay. Served with chips or coleslaw only…thinking with such little options that the chips would be homemade however they were not. They were definitely poured from a Ruffles bag, but hey…atleast they had ridges right? Nothing special at all and wouldn’t write home. Mandolin player made a nice atmosphere though.

How anyone could rate anything other than 5 stars on this place is beyond me! The food was awesome the service was prompt and cheerful and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The Irish soda bread with raisins would be dangerous if they sold by the loaf - I would eat in the car on the way home. It is worth the drive any time!

Drop it like it's hot burger was soooo good! Beautiful night so we ate outside & our server was great! He was also so sweet to my dog, brought him a bowl of water and some bacon. Kids had fun playing some games inside while we finished our drinks. Would definitely recommend this place!

Food and drinks were fine in that bar, even doh my cocktail was pretty week for the price . Worst part is service - first security guy didn’t want to let us in questioning my friends ID (my friend is 32 btw and looks exactly as his ID photo) but it’s not a big deal. After we got seated our waitress approached about 5 minutes later and never offered a menu. After I mentioned that we don’t have a menu she silently took it from Neighbours table and gave it to us with rude attitude. Whatever reason for that behavior is - it is not my issue to deal....

No am I not a local, not a former employee. We stopped in with high hopes assuming the bad reviews weren’t real. Atmosphere was mehhh, we went thinking there would be games and fun things to do. Doesn’t feel very welcoming. Nachos did not taste right, table of 5 couldn’t finish a small portion, overcooked cheesesteaks on hotdog rolls sized buns? Overcooked burger, wraps with old tasting, dried out chicken. They were nice enough to remove a wrap from our bill(reason for the 4 star service) but we all left hungry. This place was not busy, 1 other table, a band setting up inside. They automatically included 20% tip on the bill which was unbelievable. Most our tables food went to trash unfortunately. TouristTrap

The bakery also provides to-go lunch options for visitors exploring the area. The menu features items like buttermilk mixed-berry pancakes, a house burger, leg of lamb, and a shrimp, scallop and scallion omelet.
Love this place! We were visiting the area and looking for a quick breakfast before our hike. Sunup was perfect—delicious pastries, excellent service, and a casual and friendly atmosphere.

The best pastries and sandwiches ever. Coffee could use some improvement. Very lovely staff and cute ambiance. Come in early or be ready to get on the line and wait, but it’s totally worth it. We got the apple cider donuts, raspberry danish, avocado egg sandwich and my husband got a BLT.

The chocolate espresso bread pudding - basically a moist, decadent muffin - was out of this world. So was the special breakfast sandwich of the day, which was in an unbelievably soft biscuit. Sunrise wrap was also delish! Clearly a gem of Killington.

The best sausage egg & cheese everrr. The biscuits are delish & so are the baked goods. Maple latte is a must. Yum!

The service we received was quite frankly unacceptable. The woman at the cash register spoke to us like we were children, not paying customers. I understand we came in a big group, but the abrasive and rude attitude we received within moments of walking in was completely uncalled for. The only person that didn’t give us an attitude was the lady in the back, hard at work making everyone’s orders. We were looking forward to coming here because of the positive reviews, and while the sandwiches were pretty good, the service was disappointing. I wish we had received the same service as the other people leaving positive reviews.

This is a cozy little place with super nice staff! The coffee is great, and the food is decent. They've got sandwiches and bagels that are good for a quick start on your day. But what you really want to try are their muffins. We had the blueberry muffin and every piece of it was pure bliss!

Great food. Organic, fresh, You must get the Vermont cuban sandwich Should be added as the top sandwich.also had the smoke salmon with chive cream cheese! Soo good. The Rivershed Killington in Nashville is a restaurant that caters to everyone's tastes, offering an array of menu options influenced by the city's food, music, and culture. The talented chefs, Nevin Perry, Tom Spencer, and Jon Jones, have curated a diverse selection of dishes including burgers, tacos, barbecue, and craft beer. Additionally, the venue provides stages where both local and touring musicians can showcase their talents in a unique and comfortable setting.
Absolutely rockin nachos. Best we have had in a while. Layered and packed with flavor. Add some pulled pork or other protein and then add some of the delicious BBQ sauces. Besides that, the bar was great to sit at and relax, great views out the window, and super clean everywhere. Great selection of draft beers. Service was very friendly and on top of it. Will come back every time we are in town.

Great hospitality, we came twice on the weekend once for the spartan burgers and once for the barbecue. We share the plate with two protein - great rice, great baked beans and fantastic brisket. Everybody was very nice and kind and they had great recommendations for new customers. Overall 5/5 experience. Greetings from the tall Germans 🤗
Lara — Google review
We watched Peppinos become Rivershed and have enjoyed seeing the success of the new restaurant. The bar area can be noisy if full so we tend to go at quieter/off-peak times. The dining room to the side is less atmospheric but easier for families. The deck is great in the summer. The pretzel & sausage is the perfect Apres-ski snack, and the cocktail offerings are pretty sweet too!
Als A — Google review
Massive portions, wide selection and great tap list. Worth a stop to fill up after a day of skiing. We had the SW eggrolls (pic is halfway through, there's 4-halves) as an app. Crispy, beany, and good sauce. Wife had the salmon tacos (top pick of them all tonight) They're loaded, and the salmon was moist yet crispy like we make in our air fryer at home. I had the Nashville sandwich, thick, hot, and saucy, but maybe a little bready. Ski town prices but tons of good food. Christine was fantastic.
Austin S — Google review
The 3 types of sausages served with the pretzel were so good! The pretzel itself was a little dry, didn't care for it, but it was okay with the dipping sauces. The tatertots with cheese curds were a highlight. Beers were a bit pricey. Great spot to grab food after a day on the mountain.
Maria D — Google review
Great restaurant nearby many attractions in Killington! We had blackened salmon and it was delicious and made to perfection! The apartment fries bowl was incredible and definitely worth a try! My husband had one protein combo with shrimps and Spanish rice, the food was beyond delicious and perfectly seasoned. Kids meal was as delicious as the main course for us and portions were very filling. Highly recommended and will definitely stop by should I be in town.
Ghada — Google review
Great value, great food! Service and drinks were great too! Cant wait to go back. Fried pickles (we inhaled them before the pic - good portion), Rueben 🤤, Mac & cheese - so creamy!
Nicole B — Google review
We decided to stop in here to eat, because it was close to the resort. The wait was short, the waitress was really nice and attentive, she was also really compassionate with my little. The ordering to table delivery was timely, and they had musical bingo live to keep us occupied. The atmosphere is relaxed and is enough where you can catch a vibe. There is a bar for you to unwine if you're interested, but they do have mocktails if you want the fancy without the alcohol. Vegan options aren't available, but their are limited vegetarian options.

The Killington Grand Resort Hotel is a laid-back retreat featuring a health club, pool, and spa. The hotel offers a free shuttle to Killington Road for easy access to local attractions. While the on-site restaurant, Prestons, has stylish decor and an eclectic menu, it falls short in terms of food quality and service. However, the resort's convenient location at the heart of Killington makes it an ideal choice for visitors looking to enjoy the area's offerings.
The hotel was beautiful and in a wonderful location. The staff made the experience. Clinton checked us in and was very warm, welcoming and helpful. He was also very helpful when we discovered our room did not have a microwave and we were counting on that for a pre-race breakfast! Then, Ocean (I think was her name) in the cafe was wonderful and made us the most delicious coffees. The rooms were cozy and clean. We had Preston's for dinner both nights. We definitely wouldn't mind coming back and bringing the kids!

The location is beautiful and the hotel staff is wonderful! Clinton at the front desk is truly one of a kind! The hotel itself isn’t wonderful and I hear they will be doing upgrades soon. The pool turned our bathing suits and hair green so be aware of that!

The trip has been great. The room has a small kitchen, the air conditioning has been loud. We were placed at the end of the hotel with a view of a service road and trash dumpster. The service staff has been quite nice and amenities are great. If it weren't for the a/c and the room view this would have been 5☆.

Nice experience. A lil pricey but food is really good. I liked my pumpkin wheat ale during fall, and enjoyed my rock and roll sushi. My mum took the shrimp teriyaki and liked it too. The Mai tai was good, but not the best I've had. The ambience was good, and the fire pit in the patio area was cozy. Some parts of the restaurant were a little dim (going down from the stage area) and could use more lighting.

Visit #1 Went last year on vacation the atmosphere was wonderful inside and the food is excellent. I ordered the fish bowl drink, tempura, and sushi platter. Everything exceeded my expectations, and they even accommodated me for my white fish allergy. So the next time I go back to VT I will definitely stop in! Visit #2 Unfortunately I’m going to have to bump it down a star after eating there last weekend. My family member was served water from a glass that still had dish soap in it and the staff didn’t seem to care too much. Also we were served our food and weren’t even given tupperware to eat it. Food once again was great (octopus salad was especially remarkable), but because of those two blunders, it wasn’t as good of an experience as the first time.

Charity's 1887 Saloon, located in Killington, VT, is a bustling and cozy establishment known for its historical charm and welcoming ambiance. The centerpiece of the saloon is an exquisite bar crafted in France and shipped to the location in 1887, adding to its appeal with cherry wood and Italian marble accents. The saloon offers a full bar with a wide selection of drinks, including microbrews on tap and specialty beers. It also features multiple TVs for sports enthusiasts.
I came for lunch yesterday and liked it so much I came for lunch today. Service was outstanding. Food was yummy. I had garden salad, chicken wings, and chicken tacos the next day. Beer selection is really good too. I love the atmosphere. And the music is amazing!!!!!

Ordered only for take out. Professionally friendly staff - nice atmosphere. Food - chicken wings: the worst I‘ve ever had.. dry, barely any sauce on it - even any airport shack does it better to my personal experience. The blue cheese sauce was - my deduction- apparently made from a powder .. no real cheese or blue cheese in it just a sad thing. I could not come back here for food..
Christian O — Google review
is bar was actually made in France by an Italian immigrant, so there is a ton of admirable history that goes along with it. On the menu: salads, burgers, tacos and entrees. When we were there, the Smashburger tacos looked interesting. Tacos look like the real deal here: with 3 proteins including carnitas, chicken and shrimp. Yum. The salads looked ample and smelled fresh. Note: I reviewed Charity's 10 months ago at Jenny Blanco Tours Season 4 Episode 10. See all of the footage there!
Jenny T — Google review
We were in the area after the Spartan Race and needed to grab an early dinner. This seemed to be the only one open that had standard American fare. There was a group of hungry Spartans with me and the menu was vast enough to pique everyone's taste buds. I loved the old style look of this place; it really looked like an old saloon from the 1800s but it was built in 1971. However, the bar was from France and shipped to the US in 1887, hence the name. The parking lot was spacious. There was an outdoor patio that looked great to dine in. On the front lawn, there was a game of Cornhole. Our server was great. The food came out quick. I had the fried chicken over mash potatoes and gravy; wow, a very delectable dinner. Overall, we had a good time with good food.

Food was good. No refills for a soda? A charge to use your credit card. And little service. We felt like the waitress was rushing to be done with us. If service was better and extra charges were known, it would have been a better experience.

Great spot on our Killington trip! You can find great variety in the menu. Food was quality and the atmosphere is great. Plenty of seating and a packed bar midweek in the summer. Great bear list with local options. My only complaint is the service was a little slow but they may have limited staff in the summer months.
Alexandra G — Google review
I had a wonderful experience at Charity's thanks to our lovely waiter. She was an absolute joy. So cheerful and enthusiastic. And my smash burger and sweet potato fries were scrumptious. I honestly had anxiety when I was down to the last few bites. It was hard to let go. Enter, a warm brownie a la mode with lots of whip cream. Yum!! Thanks for a wonderful dinner. I can't wait to return.. alfresco!

Domenic's Pizzeria is an upscale pizza restaurant in the Killington area, offering a warm and inviting atmosphere with scenic views. They specialize in hand-tossed pizzas and traditional Italian dishes. Customers rave about the deliciousness of their pizza, wings, and spaghetti. The husband particularly enjoyed the 18-inch Pepperoni pizza, ordering it twice due to its amazing taste. The garlic parmesan wings were also a hit, perfectly cooked with a crunchy skin and flavorful meat.
We got the pesto tomato and the veggie pizzas and both were excellent! Pizzas were done quickly and a reasonable price. Hit perfectly after a day of skiing

The wings were very good, we had traditional with garlic ranch. The pizza was pretty good as well. Service was great and the place is a nice little spot. Ended up costing around $78 for a large pizza and wings, an alcohol beverage and a soda for two people, which seemed reasonable for a ski town. That total is after tax and tip. Overall if you're looking for a good pizza place I'd recommend it
Matt S — Google review
As someone who’s lactose intolerant, it’s always exciting to find a pizza spot that offers non-dairy cheese as an option. As soon as I saw it on the menu, I knew I had to try it. My husband and I split a meat pizza, going half and half with non-dairy and mozzarella cheese. The atmosphere was super chill, and the service was great. I’d definitely recommend it!
Jasmine G — Google review
Pizza was very good. We got Buffalo chicken (not very spicy so it was perfect!!!!), and white pizza. Wings were just your generic wings so average. Can’t go wrong. Garlic bread was also good ( felt like it was fried but I think it just had a lot of oil, which is cool for me), ceasar salad was good. Wasn’t expecting a whole piece of anchovy though.

Had a Speciality Pizza Sausage, spinach, and banana peppers. Very Good. Thin crispy crust. We also had a Veggie Pizza with Vegan cheese. Also very good.

First time in Killington area and weren't sure about where to eat. Tried Domenic's and we weren't disappointed. The pizza, wings, and spaghetti were sooo good! My husband loved their pizza so much, he ordered the same 18 inch Pepperoni pizza twice. I went with garlic parmesan wings the first time and they were also very good! They were cooked just the way I like. Crunchy skin, meaty, and tasted great! Second time, I ordered the full size spaghetti with 5 meatballs. Also very good! I got two meals out of the full serving and the left over tasted even better. Meatballs were good sizes and very good as well. Hope they don't change anything... Planning to go again next winter.

We ordered some boxes for pickup and realized we forgot a cheese the second we got in the car. When we came in they whipped up a fresh cheese pizza immediately and let us sit at a table to eat our current pizza while we waited. Didn't ask, just gave us seats, plates, and some waters. Some of the best service ive gotten in a minute and the best part was it all felt so genuine. Shoutout to Jason and the woman behind the counter (i never got her name but has Owner energy) for this experience!

Smallish restaurant with friendly service and great food! We had wings and a chicken slider for apps, and they were delish. The House Veggie pizza was amazing, smothered with fresh veggies and some of the freshest tasting cheese we've had on a pizza. Not only was our server Mike friendly and attentive, other staff from the restaurant also stopped by to check in us and say Merry Christmas. One of the highlights of our ski trip thus far. Will definitely be back next year!

It offers a great view of Snowshed and has a heated outdoor pool. The restaurant bar is the perfect place to gather with family members for drinks, although dessert may not be available until 5pm. The bartender, Kat, is known for her excellent service and skill in mixing great drinks.
Muscles was just amazing. We didn’t expect that the code with the rice noodles it’s a soup. Is there Asian style very interesting to try not sure if I want to order that again.

Enjoy the delicious salmon dinner here during the building best practices conference. The Cat salmon was cooked perfectly, the food was very flavorful. The bourbon smashed cocktail was also full of flavor with fresh blueberries and mint. The waitress got our food quickly and was friendly. All around a great experience!

The food was excellent. We ate here two nights in a row during our stay at the lodge. Ordered burgers on the first night and ordered the New York Steak the second. Both were cooked to perfection. My only complaint was the time it took to get our food. The first night we arrived right after open and waited a good deal of time on our burgers while others that came in after us received their food. The second night we arrived an hour before closing. I think it had been hectic and again the server apologized for our wait, but I think the kitchen was really behind and I was really getting hangry after a long day racing.

We dined at Preston's on our last visit to Killington and had what was the most amazing charcuterie board of all time! We returned tonight over MLK weekend and arrived to a two hour wait for a seat, so we unfortunately went somewhere else this time. I'll say that Preston's is one of our favorite restaurants in Killington. The food and atmosphere here are both great!

French onion soup was quite good. The bread and cheese had a nice browning to it and you could pass your spoon through it easily. Broth was very sherry forward which I loved. The airplane was surprisingly moist! I really dug it. They also had a roasted octopus special. It was sort of a spectacle then something we wanted to finish. A lot of suction cups on it.

Awesome stop into the restaurant bar for a drink with group of family members. Arrived at the restaurant looking for drinks and dessert. We were told good on drinks but no dessert until 5pm. After a round of drinks we were told that the bartender would get us dessert. Thanks Kat! She was a joy and took care of all of us. Be sure to see her when you are next at Preston’s. Great view of Snowshed and the heated outdoor pool. Great drinks mixed by Kat. Thanks again. We will be back for sure when there is snow on the ground in 6 months.

We ate here twice during our 4 night stay here. Everything we had was amazing. The baby kale & arugula salad, angus burger, bistro wedges, and roasted Salmon were amazing. Everything was a bit pricey for us, but it’s truly a “get what you pay for” situation. Worth it.

The Birch Ridge Inn is a charming inn and restaurant located in Killington, Vermont, nestled in the picturesque Green Mountains. The inn offers cozy rooms, some with fireplaces, and a laid-back lounge for guests to unwind. Situated less than a mile from the Killington Ski and Golf Resort, it provides refined bed and breakfast lodging with 10 individually decorated guest rooms. Guests can enjoy a fabulous full country breakfast before exploring the region's numerous restaurants, bars, and shopping options.
Our 3-generation family had a reunion here, and we rented the entire inn for a week. It was a wonderful facility for our group! Large cozy and comfortable common spaces, a large commercial kitchen, beautiful outdoor spaces including lovely lights, and tables and chairs for all of us to enjoy hanging out or eating meals outdoors. The owner continues to upgrade this inn, and recently added a wonderful fire pit that we thoroughly enjoyed, with comfy chairs around it. They were very responsive to any questions or concerns and addressed everything immediately. We hope to be able to stay here again in the future!

My husband and I were guests a few years ago for a nice little staycation. It was Christmas time and surprisingly the hotel was pretty quiet. The place has a nice little bar (feels almost like a living room rather than what you normally think a bar looks like) where the owners stayed and bartended for us, (even though it was late and we were the only ones there) in a beautiful gathering area with couches and a gorgeous floor to ceiling decorated tree. They treated us like family. It was a cozy setting, everything was clean and comfortable, and we had everything we needed. We would love to make it up again that way soon. *response to “new management”: wow it’s no longer an inn where the regular person can just rent a nice cozy room with a mom and pop vibe. The website boasts its for “your group or family to take over The Whole ski lodge”. And you can hire your own staff to “take over the kitchen too!” The rooms are renovated to be modern instead of cottage cozy. Who needs a whole ski lodge for 28 people?? Oh, the upper echelon of rich tourists. Guess we’re never staying here again. The Killington Vacation Rentals ruined it. Thanks for replying to my review. It’s really too bad what you did to the place. Taking away your stars.

We very much enjoyed our stay at this quaint family run location and both Bill and Mary made us feel very welcome. Rooms were nice and clean, and the common areas were very cozy with a roaring fire during the cold winter nights. The location was perfect, less than a mile from Killington and only a few miles from Pico mountain. The on-site restaurant was excellent with world-class food. Update: came back in 2022 still wonderful here although now they are only doing dinner Thursday through Sunday. Breakfast still served homemade each day!

Lovely Inn with really nice hosts. My husband and I ate dinner there both nights of our stay because the food is outstanding. We really enjoyed hanging out in the great room chatting with both visitors and locals. Our queen room was very clean and spacious. It was nice being able to open up the windows in our bedroom at night and turn on the fan in the room to circulate the fresh cool mountain air that allowed us to sleep very well. Overall I highly recommend this Inn.

We’ll definitely be coming back. This is a true bed and breakfast experience. Bill and Mary have created a warm, inviting, well appointed and extremely comfortable place that feels like home away from home. Food is excellent. Don’t hesitate to spend your time here, be it for a stay or just for dinner. Can’t go wrong!

When we arrived we were greeted by Bill. He  is very helpful and friendly and walks you to your room and goes over everything. He gives you recommendations for restaurants to go to. They serve dinner Thursday Through Sunday, very convenient for those days where you dont feel like driving and having some nice drinks. Breakfast is included (8 to 930 weekdays 730 to930 on weekends). The rooms have a thermostat so you can set the temperature. Very clean rooms and the bathroom is immaculate.  I judge a place by how clean the bathrooms are and this is a 10 out of 10. They really do a great job at the inn. Amazing place will definitely come back!

Went here for a romantic ski weekend with my boyfriend. The inn is beautiful and makes you feel at home in its design. The owners Mary and Bill are attentive, very friendly, and make you feel comfortable right away. I felt like we had known them for years. They know the area well and had great recommendations regarding things to do. We enjoyed eating in the restaurant at the inn and having drinks in the cozy bar. The food was delicious! I highly recommend staying here and plan to come back.

We’ve been going to Killington for about six years stayed in several different B&B. Birch is by far the best one. Bill and Mary are great hosts and Mary’s baking goods in the breakfast are delicious. If you manage to save some for later in the day, they make great snacks between rides. Rooms varies in sizes, amenities and prices. Some have fireplaces some have not, but that will be clear when you make the reservation. The lounge is very comfortable and great for an evening glass of wine. They also took several measures to make the stay safe during COVID times, if I recall the order correctly, whenever a guest leaves they apply an ultra violet light, then they clean, then they apply the light again. Strong recommend this place.

Amazing local breakfast spot. Got there right at open and the place quickly filled up with locals. Prices were great for the amount of food. The French toast is the best I've ever had!

I’ve been here before and have always had great service/great food. This time was a little bit different. We were seated fast but then waited 10-15 minutes before flagging someone down to find our server. Food was pretty good. My friend asked about the special/local hot sauce they had on the counter, and we were told it was a $3 up charge just to use it for our food. That’s ridiculous. I understand they are selling the hot sauce but $3 for a few squirts – no.
Su M — Google review
While this was my second time as a patron, this time with my whole family, the experience started off on the wrong footing. Whatever the reason, the lady handling the hosting, order taking, and cashing out, did not even bother to come by the entrance where we and a few other parties were waiting for at least 20 minutes. I mind you, there wasn't even a "hello" or "hi there is a 20 minute wait", not to mention, no eye contact or any acknowledgement that we were there. While we waited we observed a whole section of the dinner being completely empty and not utilized. Also as she seemed to continue to take orders from the bar, there was a line of customers building up to check out. Eventually we got seated. We waited at least another 10 minutes before we could even get water or tea. A few minutes later we finally ordered and the food came out in a reasonable time. As far as the food quality goes, there wasn't anything worth bragging about. The cook did his job seemingly composed and with appropriate timelines. The two bus boys who were also handling some tea and beverage order taking and delivery seemed nice and able to probably fulfill other duties. It appeared as if they were seasonal foreign labor and that they somehow did not have permission to do so from someone running the operation. Overall, I think this place has the potential to be a 4-5 star place if the human experience/bottleneck can be resolved. I still recommend this breakfast over hotel fare if you have at least one hour to spare!

We came here every morning of our vacation. I like everything we ordered. It was reasonably priced and the portion sizes were large. It all tasted fantastic. I can't say I had a favorite dish, but I recommend trying the pancakes, French toast, breakfast sandwich, and corn beef hash. Definitely try the maple syrup and Vermont Voodoo hot sauce! They kept our coffee mugs full and brought the food out quickly. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Killington, VT. I can't wait to visit the area again and eat here every morning.

We came here on a Saturday & Sunday. It did take a while to get seated and for our orders to be taken but that’s because it was so busy, and rightfully so! The food was absolutely delicious and the staff is very kind and patient. We got The Beast, The special French toast with vanilla cream cheese and chocolate chips, and the home fries are the best I’ve ever had. The bacon was also delicious and crispy every time!

Baja Burrito Co. is a relaxed spot where you either resonate with the atmosphere or you don't. It's a fantastic destination to hang out and unwind with your buddies, enjoying some beverages and experiencing the ambiance that resembles being in Vermont. The cuisine is delightful, and the overall aesthetic of the place adds an extra layer of enjoyment.
The food was amazing, the salsa was the best thing ever, my burrito was so hot I couldn't touch it for 5 minutes. You just have to come here if you're in town!

The energy was not very Mexican. We walked in and said Happy New Year and the server looked at us like we had 10 heads. We sat down and we ordered our drinks. My sisters so called sprite tasted like watered down seltzer. My mom’s sangria, she said it tasted like mop water. My dad was so excited to get the baked wings, he asked if he could have them well done and a bit crunchy, he said it comes one way and everyone likes them. I ordered the tacos (thank god we left) and my sister got the same thing and asked for steak, he said beef and she said no steak and said very obnoxiously said yeah beef. You can’t hang up Mexican decorations and have white guy’s serving. There was 1 server who was also the host. Our chips were stale and the flavor was like they poured a bag of salt on it, and the salsa was just chopped up tomatoes. We told the guy before we left that we were leaving, he charged us $25 for chips and salsa, and 4 drinks. SAVE YOURSELF AND NEVER GO. Oh and it is so bad I’m 10 years old and writing a review.

Tried to call several times For take out at 4pm. No one answers. Got there and few clients, atmosphere bland. Bar tender defensive when asked if there phone was working. Ordered taco salad. Didn't get any cheese on it, a small amount Salsa. 3 small tacho chips. No cream cheese.. dressing was tasty, but not worth $14.. killington locals and visitors deserve better food & service. This place a many other restaurants in Killi , just don't care.. ashame for such a great ski resort.

Service was fast, but the food was only okay. Got the fish tacos and a house margarita. Tacos were very strong and fishy; the margarita had very cheap tasting tequila and was very light on the lime. However the atmosphere was fun and upbeat and the server was friendly and kind.

Walked in and as we looked around we could sense de DEAD athmosphere and it was time to RUN! As the stale chips and the chopped tomatoes came out as a pretend salsa we knew we had to leave. The sodas arrived shortly and completely flat no flavor. It was really really terrible!! My sangria tasted like mop water!! They are an insult to Killington. Thankfully we decided to leave before the food came out. Pls do yourself a favor and run away. Much better BOARDS HEAD SANDWICHES at the local market. There is if you are out of options of a seat down dinner.Good Luck!!

The bartender was very upset that we had a cup of diet coke. The waiter told us come on dude it's the end of the season when I asked for 2 different drafts they didn't have. You can't put Mexican decorations up and have a bunch of white dudes cooking and serving food. Sorry not authentic and very mediocre.

Visiting from out of state and just went to the closest Mexican place and well Bryan the bartender/server was awesome but I hate to say it the food was actually pretty bad. I would 100% just drive 15min further for something else like yea we could barely finish our plates after pouring tons of salt on the entrees. The drinks were flavorless and weak too.

Nestled in the picturesque landscape of Killington, Vermont, the Ledgewood Yurt stands out as a truly unique dining experience. Accessible via the K-1 Express Gondola or through a charming snowcat-drawn sleigh ride, this ski-in-ski-out gem serves up mouth-watering dishes that highlight local ingredients.
Excellent unexpectedly classy spot that you *must* visit, and come hungry! We expected a camping yurt, not what we found. Be sure to look at both sides of the menu, we almost missed it and a few others said they thought it was only soups and salads... but it's a full kitchen with top notch food and a wonderful wine and beer selection, including mulled wine that was amazing and exactly what we needed after snow shoeing there. (you can also ski in!)

You really can’t go wrong with stopping in to just have a drink on the deck, or make use of their clean facility, or have a meal inside. Great staff, great bartender, David. Food was excellent. I have tried practically every meal. Today was lobster bisque, one of the best I ever had, and the special - Jerk beef sliders. Ambience is great inside with a wood burning stove to keep you warm. Shared benches, European like allowing conversations with others. To think they are hauling everything up there everyday and then back, including the dirty dishes, is amazing. All by snow mobiles pulling sleds. Robbie was great on getting us seated. Aspen and Lydia are attentive and fun waitresses. Chef Mama is so great and consistent. On Saturdays, the line starts early.

Wow, what a disappointment. We went for dinner pre-pandemic and what an amazing experience. We just went back for lunch last week and 8 of us had one of the worst meals we've had in a long, long time. Sunrise Bar & Grill is a hidden gem located at the base of the Sunrise Triple Chair near Bear Mountain Base Lodge in Killington. The staff is friendly and accommodating, creating a relaxing atmosphere complemented by live piano music. The food is delicious, reasonably priced, and there are options like the pasta bar that add an interactive element to dining.
We’re so excited that this hidden gem just reopened for the season! We’ve already dined there twice. I had the salmon dinner, (which was outstanding) along with a delicious spinach salad which was large enough to share as an appetizer. The clam chowder rivaled those from top Boston restaurants, and my kids raved about the crispy chicken sandwich. The pasta bar is always a hit with my youngest and did not disappoint! Looking forward to our next visit!

Sunrise Bar offers a charming and peaceful retreat from the bustling main areas of Killington Resort. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot for a relaxing midday break during your ski adventures. Food Experience: I tried the New England Clam Chowder and their signature Grilled Cheese Toasts, and both were exceptional. The dishes were fresh, warm, and full of flavor, providing the perfect comfort food to recharge on a cold day. Service: The service stood out for its kindness and understanding. I had an issue with my international credit card, but Hilary, the owner, went above and beyond by allowing me to settle the payment later from my hotel. Her generosity and trust made the experience even more memorable. Overall: Sunrise Bar is a hidden gem, offering great food, a relaxed atmosphere, and exceptional service. If you're looking for a quieter dining spot with a personal touch, this is the place to visit. Highly recommend it for a delightful and stress-free lunch break!

Killington's best hidden gem. Ski on/off lunch which is better and cheaper than anything other options on the mountain. You can even get your lunch served. Also one of few places where you can reserve a table for dinner. Like lunch, dinner is high quality, and both food and drinks are at much better prices than on the Access Road. Highly recommended!!

I came here for dinner and had a fantastic time, the pasta is incredibly well prepared, and quickly at that. It is a bit awkward though when everyone who hasn't ordered pasta hasn't gotten their food by the time you finish eating. But overall this is a great place to dine, its also surprisingly cheap for being at a ski resort.

The restaurant is known for its in-house prepared meats, which are smoked for up to 12 hours, resulting in tender and flavorful dishes. Wow I am so glad that I stopped into this restaurant when I was going down the road. The meal I had was so good. It was called the slammer. It was a sandwich with BBQ pulled pork layered with coleslaw and pepper jack cheese, heated until melted. Served open-faced on a homemade roll with baked beans, potato chips and pickle. The restaurant had so many different old items to look at inside. The music playing was from the olden days around the 50s. Was just a great place to stop and have a meal. If I come back to Vermont I will make sure I stop back here for a meal.

We ordered "back behind sampler" steak with house salad, clam chowder soup. Food is very good except salty clam chowder soup. Also service was too slow and poor. Had to wait for 20 mins to be seated, 20 mins to get menu and 20 mins to check out. There is a long line of waiting but no hostess to take care of Customers. Come here If you have a lot time to kill.

Ended up here after one of the main places was full and was actually glad we did. Food was delicious. Fall of the bone ribs. Brisket was great. I don't really like baked beans and I ate those too. All of us had left overs. Service was good. I did not have room for desert but finished that also. Inside the restaurant is very cool. Will be going back next trip to Vermont.

Pretty good BBQ and really cool, retro dining room. Very nice staff, but the bathrooms weren't far from a port-a-potty. Good thing the food made up for that.

I can't believe I found this spot while driving by in the mountains. I was so hungry so when I saw the BBQ sign I immediately turned around. Can't believe how heavenly the food was here. Hannah was my server and she was super kewl! Ask for her, she makes you feel soooo welcome. The food and service here is tops!

Good bbq for the region. Pulled pork was decent. Ruben sandwich was good. Pulled pork nachos were the best part. Macaroni and cheese balls were inconsistent as some were large and the smaller ones were burned a little.

Slow, slow, slow service doesn't even begin to describe this establishment. Slow to take our order, even slower to at least bring us our beverages, appetizer took awhile, and then finally our food. The food was very good. We kept things moving when we received our bill so we didn't get passed by and then we were out if there! Not like it was that busy, don't know how they do it during a big season rush, but we won't go back, to many other choices.

Yama Ramen is the perfect place to warm up with a delicious bowl of ramen on a chilly day. Their menu features enticing options like the miso spicy ramen and kimchi curry ramen, both bursting with flavorful ingredients. In addition to their delectable ramen offerings, they also serve an array of Bao Buns including Magic Mushroom Bao, Bao Chicka Bao, and Chashu Pork Bao.
I just got back from Japan last month, and this was my first ramen since the trip. My expectations weren’t super high for a ski town, and I was totally surprised by how great the food was. The curry ramen, miso ramen, and tonkotsu ramen were all excellent. For appetizers, the bao buns were unreal as were the spring rolls. 10/10 food, lovely outdoor ambiance (we sat outside in the summer), and wonderful service! My parents loved the complimentary tea. And we all loved meeting the owner and hearing her story. This is a gem of a restaurant in Killington and a must-go for any weekend trip!

This place ROCKS! Sometimes in ski towns, restaurants think they can serve mediocre food due to the lack of options... that is not the case here. Yama Ramen is serving up some tasty ramen. Stellar views, wonderful service and delicious food. Chuckie would be proud! We got the summer roll, banh mi and tonkotsu ramen. If you get ANY of those, get the Stowe Cider. Never had anything like it and it paired perfectly.

We were greeted immediately by extremely helpful and friendly staff. Gave us their recommendations as well. Great Ramen! The broth alone is amazing. I had the coco curry and loved every bit but could not possibly eat it all, thank goodness for to-go bowls. The spring rolls were very good as well. Ate more than I should have and brought home the rest. A fantastic find.

Charming place and much needed after a day of mtn biking. I love the way you ordered at the window and then the food was brought out. Had the Tonkotsu and it was perfect. The broth was a perfect flavor, and the other ingredients were all balanced. The miso and curry ramen were also a good choice, since i got to taste test both from my friends. Dont forget the plum sake. Felt healed after our experience

Easy to order, super friendly staff, and incredible ramen. They were packed when we arrived but still managed to take care of everyone quickly and with a smile. The food was top-notch, easily some of the best I’ve had in Killington. Awesome local spot that deserves the love!

Peppino's is a cozy Italian restaurant known for its classic meat, seafood, and pasta dishes. The owner recently sold the building to Kara Tondorf, who plans to renovate and bring her Massachusetts restaurant to town. Visitors rave about the attentive service from the bartenders and waitstaff, as well as the delicious food. Some find the prices reasonable for the quality of food and service provided.
An awesome Killington bar/restaurant. Very friendly staff and down-to-earth atmosphere. Drinks were delicious, and if you come before 5 there are half priced apps, which is a great deal. Dinner entrees are in the 20-30 range, no bad, and were filling. And upgrade to the caesar - they do it right with anchovies on top. But it is the personality of this place that really shines - would love to go back

Stopped by in mid-October for dinner. The meatball parmigiana appetizer is fantastic! The veal scarpariello was good, too! Cost-wise, a tad expensive for what was served. I'm not sure what the other reviewers are complaining about re: the interior--yeah it's kinda old, but it looks like a ski lodge. It's fine. Matt, the waiter, was attentive and helpful (pleased with the staff's service from the hostess, to the waiting).
Eric B — Google review
Always a must stop on our Vermont trip! Food is impeccable, service staff always pleasant and on their game.

Wow! That's how I describe this place. I had dinner at the bar. Tha bartenders service was amazing. The nicest guy I have ever met. He knew exactly what wines were best to pair with each item of food I ordered. The food was incredible. I ordered the steak and it was by far the biggest and best steak I have ever had. The price is totally not worth it, for them. As a customer you couldn't be happier with the prices. If you are anywhere within driving distance of here I highly recommend you come. As a matter of fact I'm coming back here tomorrow and the next day God willing.

Baked pasta was actually burnt. A char on a piece of meat is one thing but blacked pasta and burnt flour is a horrible taste. In the cooks defense it looked like there was a hot spot in the oven. Regardless the dish should've never left the kitchen. Meatballs are just awful. Completely dense, no fluff, not airy or light at all. Pretty sure just baked and not even seared first. I really hope it was frozen. Anyone that tastes a meatball like that and puts it on a menu should be ashamed. Just to top it off no espresso bean in the buca to finish the meal and the hostess greeted us saying the restaurant was second generation Italian. Salads were excellent and my wife's shrimp Luigi was actually very good. Service was excellent as well. Jeff was great

Classic Italian in a cozy and quaint old building. Super friendly waitress was accommodating and nice to our young children, they weren't busy on a Monday night so easy done. There are other Italian options in town, this one is recommended for a quieter, more traditional meal.
Andrew P — Google review
Best Italian food in the area! Excellent service, great bartenders too. Consistantly delicious food, honest and fresh. My favorites are the steak with garlic rub, and the ziti with vodka sauce. Really hard to choose though. I love Italian food. Convenient for take out too.
Neve W — Google review
the restaurant is a little bit dated in our opinion, food was ok but really nothing special at all, the best before date from the beer was 2 months in the past ( we didn't even hear a sorry or any compensation for that). The table beneath us had to pack their food in the doggy bag by their own (normally this should be done properly by the restaurant/kitchen). All in all also too pricy.

Ignore the limited negative reviews; Waterwheel Trading Post in Killington is consistently friendly and well-maintained. Their grab-and-go food is exceptional, especially their renowned breakfast sandwiches. This place stands out among other fuel stops in the area, making it a top choice for a quick bite or refueling. Like many traditional Vermont stores, it possesses charm without compromising cleanliness or tidiness.
We were spending a long weekend in the area and passed this place a couple/few times. Once the Camaro needed gasoline, I made it a point to stop here, just because I love the look and vibe of it. The people here are nice. It’s a good place to get gas, snacks, or perhaps some other kinds of Provisions. I believe they have lottery tickets here as well, if you feel lucky.

I have driven by here dozens of times and always thought how I would stop in one of these days. Well, I finally stopped in today and I can't wait to come back and try out all the delicious food they have. It smelled SOOOOO amazing when I went in there today and I can't wait to try all their sandwiches. I also enjoyed hanging out on the swing by the pond and water wheel.

Great gas station and rest stop in Killington!! Super friendly, clean bathroom, beautiful rest area with pond, various seating/picnic options, freshly prepared food, waterwheel, and flowers. 🌸 A great place to stop for families or weary travelers!
P K — Google review
Extremely Dirty bathroom was as far as I could venture. Loud gangsta music blaring from the back room which was a little strange but to each their own. The shop looked quaint and interesting, may well be a fun place to grab a sandwich, but the initial experience did not inspire great confidence. We got gas, braved the nasty bathroom, and moved on.
Denis C — Google review
Don't listen to the few negative reviews on here. Waterwheel Trading post is always friendly, clean, and the grab and go food is always done well. World famous breakfast sandwiches. I wont stop anywhere else in Killington for fuel or a quick bite. Like many old Vermont stores, it has some character, but character doesn't mean dirty or unkempt. Check this place out!
Steve T — Google review
Has the BEST breakfast sandwiches in all of Killington, thats including the restaurants. Also the convenience store has lots of snacks you can't find in other places. The whole 2 staff, Debbie & the owner very sweet. They also make deli sandwiches. Since it seems Killington has a shortage of breakfast places this is a great place to go to get calories before skiing or if you need a satisfying breakfast the Water Wheel is where I'd go. I personally have a liking for eggs (anyway you want them), I switch between the bacon & sausage the bacon has an awsome smoked applewood taste, homefry & cheese on fresh ciabatta roll. It's not your typical breakfast sandwich. In addition there's deli sandwiches, the basics lots of locals & very close to Rt.4 gondola so food does not hang around long. Also a whole array of to go cosmetics. Toothpaste, toothbrushes, aspirin, Pepto-Bismol, you get the idea.

If you're skiing at Killington you should go to the top and get lunch at the peak lodge. Great views of the green mountains. The food is ok but expensive since it's resort food. But it's worth stopping for a drink and taking in the views. There's a food court and a full bar.

The food is decent but the views are great! It’s worth a stop even if it’s just for a drink. The burger & fries are decent. Prices are to be expected for this type of location, not cheap, but I do not come here for a meal. A snack & a drink suffices while relaxing & taking in the view.

Nestled at the base of the iconic Superstar trail, the Roaring Brook Umbrella Bar is a must-visit destination for anyone looking to unwind after a day on the slopes. The real perk of this bar is the view of skiers coming down the really steep black diamond trail (I think it's Superstar)... and sometimes, watching the folks who are watching the skiers is it's own amusement. Sip your beer, warm your hands by a fireplace, and enjoy the show.

Very disappointing experience - we came with a large party (10+) and were told initially that it would be a 10 minute wait (this was around 7:45pm) by a older guy (in his 40s-50s with curly blonde hair). We kept asking multiple times for updates, and we were told over and over that it’d be only 10 more minutes. Eventually, they told us the kitchen was too backed up and they could no longer serve us (which ended up being around 8:45). Unfortunately, most restaurants in the area close at 9pm, which made it near impossible to adjust our plans after waiting for so long. Honestly didn’t seem like too bad of a place but the service could use tremendous work.

Rosemary's Restaurant, an inviting American eatery, offers a delightful and nourishing morning meal. Guests can indulge in a comforting Irish country Inn experience, complete with a delectable and satisfying breakfast. The menu boasts freshly baked Irish soda bread paired with luscious maple syrup, creating an unforgettable culinary delight. This charming establishment guarantees a memorable dining experience that should not be overlooked.
I loved the soda bread! We dined in the main dining area and arrived at 7:30 PM, two dishes from the menu were unavailable, but the items we ordered were still delicious. We had Boss Pig Wings, Guinness Stout Stew, and Maple Cream Brûlée. The portions were large, and we ended up taking quite a bit home.

What a terrible management team. They take everything worthy off of the main dinner menu, only for it to be available next door in the pub. When asked why it can’t be served in the main dining room, the excuse was so ridiculous, they should be ashamed for making it up. We ended up moving to the pub. Felt bad for the servers not getting the tips.

Seems like a really neat place. It is beautiful inside. The band was awesome. But the food was pretty terrible. I cant beleive it is always this bad. The Guiness Stew was seriously worse than Dinty Moore. The beef cubes were hard and tasteless. Stew was pretty tasteless in general. I wonder if they ran out and had to quick make more. The only excuse in an think of. I don't know how to make beef that tough unless they cooked it fast and threw it in. Anyway, go to this place, but try some of the other food.

Killington Distillery - Still on the Mountain is a small batch craft distillery and cocktail bar located at the top of the Mountain Road, part of the newly renovated Mountain Inn. It's Killington's only distillery, offering a variety of spirits including Maple Casket Bourbon and gin. The friendly staff are enthusiastic about their enterprise and offer tastings to help you explore their selection. The ambiance is great with good food, drinks, and a long list of beers available in cans.
We are staying at the Mountain Inn and stopped by the Killington Distillery within this resort for an after dinner drink and some dessert. Both were fantastic, and so was the service. They even had live music to listen to after a long day of skiing. This is a very cool place!

This place could be great. Music and vibe was cool. Then several errors with the food order. Burger was inedible. Desserts for takeout could have been the best part, but got back to our room to find the food was thrown in the boxes. I never leave a bad review, but management has to be aware and not care.

We came here after a Spartan OCR event. There was a singer doing good live covers of popular old songs. We sat on the other side of the wall and were not blasted by the vocals. It was enjoyable. I had two cocktails which went down very easy. They certainly were not heavy on alcohol but hard to say if they were low on alcohol. The portion size was good in my chicken and rice. It was loaded up with sauce. The chicken and vegetable were juicy, which made the rice noticeably dry.

She gave us recommendations for things to do and see. She was friendly, helpful, and had a great energy. We ate here 3 times on our trip it was THAT DELICIOUS!
Andrea D — Google review
Very cute spot, loved the atmosphere, but that was the best part. Service started off decent, but then when it got busy, we got a little forgot about. Nothing too crazy, but we were definitely were left waiting for refills and dessert. We each got a cocktail, an entree, an Old Fashioned flight and shared dessert. I'm a big bourbon person, so should have known better in ordering, but I wanted to try. It seemed like a very young bourbon and therefore, very harsh. I tried it in the flight and in a specialty cocktail thinking that would make it better...it didn't. The maple bourbon selection in the flight was better and the rye was decent, but I 100% wouldn't get another bourbon drink there. As for food, my friend got the fig & goat cheese flatbread that she shared and I got the forager sandwich. Both seemed like they would be mouthwatering delicious, but we were both left wanting more, as neither was very flavorful. They weren't bad, just not anything to order again or tell others to try. Aside from the bourbon, the most disappointing thing was the dessert we tried. It had maple (syrup?) on top of ice cream on top of a brownie. Again...for lack of a better term, it was too vanilla as in plain. Unless you scooped only the syrup on the spoon, you barely tasted it. I wanted to love this place, but left feeling disappointed. If I lived closer, I'd be willing to try again and try all new things, but alas, I don't.

This place has phenomenal views and extremely friendly bartenders. You have to try the hot cider with rum (they like to add a lot of rum). NEVER DISAPPOINTS. EVER. These are by far the best Bloody Mary I've ever had. It's gotten to the point where I don't even order bloodys anywhere else because they never even come close. Lodge gets wicked crowded making it a mob scene around lunch and almost no quick grab and go options. Bloody Mary's make up for that though.

Two Beer Limit. Just a heads up, if the person that rings you up remembers your face, you are only allowed to purchase 2 alcoholic beverages at a time. Even if you deliver those two said beverages to your table and return to purchase more, you will not be allowed. Someone else in your party will have to buy their own beer. I understand it may be the law but when you can see 3 people sitting at a table and one person is purchasing for that table then it seems clear that not just one person is consuming all three drinks. Silly rule. Always good to have a lodge at the top for refreshments.

Amazing view, good food/drinks and friendly staff. Conveniently located right at the top of the K-1 Gondola at Killington Ski/Snowboard Mountain Resort. Taco X is a hidden gem that beautifully combines the love for outdoor adventures, skiing, and mouthwatering cuisine. Nestled less than a mile from Killington Resort, this unique taco spot offers an unforgettable dining experience with its tantalizing fish tacos and house-made hot sauce that will leave you craving more. As a passionate taco lover from Florida, I can confidently say these are some of the best fish tacos I've ever tasted!
Visited twice. Each time the food was excellent. Had the baja fish tacos last time and they were amazing. The fish was crispy and the slaw was fresh. The pineapple salsa hot sauce was a great addition. Burritos are super stuffed and fresh. The Strawberry margarita was delicious. Pre -COVID, you could get your own toppings at the topping bar. Now they add them for you so have that in mind when ordering.

As a Floridian taco enthusiast, I had the best fish tacos I've ever had here. And the house made hot sauce?!?! I wish I could just take this restaurant back to FL with me. They were short staffed when our group of 6 were here, but I can assure that the food is well worth the wait. We had some great conversations with the owner and you can really tell he is a great guy and cares about his business. Next time I end up in killington this restaurant will be at least half the reason why. :)

YUM! If you're craving good food and drinks on a cold winter day, then definitely stop at Taco X. Our server was so nice and the food was really good. I had the chicken enchiladas and my husband had a beef burrito. I couldn't finish my food, but it was great as leftovers, too.
A S — Google review
So I've never left a bad review on Google before. I ordered their tacos which come with three tacos and you can mix and match. I ordered 2 sweet potato and black bean tacos and 1 cauliflower taco. Not only did the order take an hour and ten minutes, they gave me 6 sweet potato tacos with no black beans and no cheese, literally sweet potato hash browns and lettuce in the shell, oh and they were cold. My friend ordered a carnitas burrito... They gave her carne asada. Oh and the margaritas, I'm pretty sure the sour mix was colored water. Oh, they have a cool logo so that's nice.
Allison L — Google review
The service was some of the best, very attentive and fast... The portions were generous and the drinks were lovely. Mondays are $5 margaritas and you get a free refill!

Didn’t have the best experience here. Took our waiter ten minutes just to get us menus. Also, I’m not from VT so I didn’t know how un-authentic Mexican food is here. Definitely don’t order the “queso” - its straight up melted velveeta cheese. Couldn’t believe they didn’t even doctor it up! Like throw some peppers/spices in there or something to break up that horrific yellow color. However, the tacos were surprising decent. The way the chef laid the tortillas out on the plate made 0 sense though. You couldn’t pick them up without everything falling out.
Colin G — Google review
Planning my trip, I intended on stopping at taco X, and man I was not let down. Super friendly staff, down to earth people. Food was some of the best quality, freshest ingredients and a chef who isn’t afraid to cook with love. Local beer too, which was not a disappointment. If it wasn’t for 300 miles in the way, I’d be back every month

Unique taco spot less than one mile from killington resort and walking distance from many hotels. Tacos were tasty and the margaritas were good. There is a topping bar to add toppings to your tacos. Waitress was very friendly. Nice spot to check out if you visit killington.

Restaurant
Nestled in the heart of Killington, Hops on the Hill is a delightful dining destination that promises an unforgettable experience. With its warm and welcoming atmosphere, this restaurant stands out for its exceptional service and friendly staff who greet you with genuine smiles. During a recent visit on a bustling Friday evening, I witnessed firsthand how accommodating they are; despite being fully booked, they managed to find us a table after another reservation was canceled—talk about luck!
TLDR. 100/5 stars. Absolutely delicious. Absolutely best staff, best service. Visited on the last day of mid-winter break in February on a Friday. Make reservations, especially during blackout dates/weekends. When we arrived, the restaurant was fully reserved for the night and they had no availabilities. We decided we could go somewhere else, and we were halfway out the door when the hostess shouted to us and we turned around to see her running towards us to tell us that, in fact, a reservation had been canceled! We happily walked into the restaurant and sat upstairs on the second floor balcony next to a large beer storage container. Immediately, we were told that they had touch-free menus, accessible through a QR Code on the table. Then, an older gentleman, of whom we presumed was the owner, approached us, greeted us warmly, and asked us if we were visiting for the first time. We replied yes, and he introduced himself and the restaurant. We then placed our orders. Here's what we ordered. For drinks, I had a water. We were having a hard time picking a beer off the menu, so the gentleman gladly introduced the draft beers and then proceeded to bring us three half-filled beer cups with three different types of beer in each cup for us to try, for free. Unfortunately, I don't remember exactly what beer we ended up choosing, but I do remember one of them was "Fiddlehead" and another was "Switchback [Ale].” All three beers were all awesome, but we eventually settled on one. Appetizers: we had the "Peppercorn Encrusted Tuna" and "Bone-In Wings.” The tuna was definitely peppery, a little much for me, but nothing too bad. The bone-in wings. MAN. Tender, juicy. We got the Maple Sriracha sauce. ABSOLUTELY delicious; not too sweet, not too spicy. Came with celery and upon request both ranch and blue cheese dip. For entrées, I had to choose between the "Buildable Tri-Blend Burger" and the "Hops Burger.” I ended up going with "Hops Burger,” and I had no regrets whatsoever. The burger was big, juicy, flavorful, a perfect medium-rare temperature as I requested, and delicious. We also got the "Fish Tacos,” which were delicious, and the "Mad Tom" Flatbread. The latter was quite sweet, more like a dessert, but delicious nonetheless. The tacos and the burger each came with a huge heaping of tater tots and a pickle. The entire time, the staff attended to us and were cheerful and bright. I felt very welcome, cared for, and of course well-fed. Overall? We will return to this charm of a restaurant every time we visit Killington in the future, for as long as it exists, and for as long as we exist. Will definitely recommend this restaurant to my friends and relatives. Thank you for the delicious food and absolutely wonderful staff. Thank you for raising my expectations bar so high, in the best way possible.

This was our first time visiting this place and we loved it. Glad that it’s dog friendly. They provided a huge bucket of water for our dog and he had enough space to lie down. The food was excellent and the Bloody Mary I had was one of the best ones.

Absolutely fantastic Gem hidden at the base of Killington. The food is excellent. Chef Abby is super creative and blends simple ingredients into mouthfuls of enjoyment. The beer selection is on point, better than alot of other restaurants in the area. A MUST STOP WHILE HERE! The food is only second to the wonderful service provided by the staff. With excellent summer views, I can only imagine how great this is in the winter. Can't wait to return!

Off the bat the young server we had was incredible...Took great care of every accomodations we requested. The food LOOKS good but taste was lackluster in flavor. Had an app of BAO. The BAO was the best out of the entire meal. Ordered a cheese burger med rare, come out med well to well done. And egg was sunny side up not fried. Chicken sandwich came out a little under done.

There is just NO way I can explain what an amazing time I had at this restaurant tonight. First, let me say..: we were greeted with the happiest faces. One right after another the moment we stepped inside. We were a pain and changed tables 3 times. Once at a booth, then by a window and finally at the bar. I was a little obsessed with catching the sunset, which was PERFECT (see photo) no one seemed annoyed or upset but rather accommodating. I so appreciate this. I had my heart set on seeing that sunset. We started with drinks. Amazing selection! They have it all. We even got a delicious dark beer with doughnuts! What a fun treat! (See photo) food. OUTSTANDING! I can’t even explain how excited I am we finally got to try this place. We are so used to the normal food in rutland (which is great but I suck at cooking so we eat out a lot) and this was such a beautiful change of pace. The duck Bao was out of this world and perfectly done. We also had the grilled flank sandwich and general tsos chicken sandwich. AMAZING. Honestly, some of the best food I’ve had in this area EVER!!! Please don’t hesitate to come and order several things to try. We ordered and shared bc we couldn’t wait to try everything! My final review.. easily the BEST service we’ve had in months. We felt like family. Invited and wanted. In this current time I feel like employees are stressed and overworked but you couldn’t tell here. Everyone made us feel so welcomed. The food and drinks were just such a huge bonus. I don’t write a lot of reviews but this place deserved 5 stars and much more! Bravo to everyone. We can’t wait to come back! What a gem!

Five stars isn’t enough. This place completely blew away my expectations. Be prepared for some of the finest IPAs Vermont has to offer, the best maple syrup and some of the best food on the mountain. I started with the peppercorn encrusted tuna, I was blown away. Their meat for their burgers on top of their cheese is just out of this world. Reasonably priced and everything is worth every penny. If you want one the BEST pub experiences in your life, I highly recommend this place. Sat by the window which offered an Incredible view of the mountain. If distance wasn’t in the way, I’d be coming back time and time again.

So I am editing this review since the owner really took our initial feedback seriously and we gave them another chance (no incentive); with positive outcome. In these post-covid times many businesses don't care about customer service but here it's not the case. The food was extremely good (both times) and tasty/spicy (if you like bland don't go there). The beer selection is great and not the usual boring standard choices. I'm positive our feedback improved the customer experience.

We were staying at an Airbnb at the Mountain Green while skiing at Killington and we discovered this excellent place. We checked it out due to its proximity and we were not disappointed! Everything we had was great! We ate there several times. The Vermont Grilled Cheese was out of this world, as were the Pulled Chicken Tacos. The Tomato Basil Soup was excellent. The Kale Salad and Chicken Wings are an outstanding choice as well. The beer selection was great and they have a good variety. In addition, the service was fast and friendly, we enjoyed chatting with the owner. In short, this place is a winner and there was nothing about it that came up short. Would visit again without hesitation!

Dream Maker Bakers is an exceptional wedding bakery that delivers awe-inspiring cakes tailored to each client's desires. Their creations not only look stunning but also satisfy the taste buds, prompting guests to indulge in seconds. The quality and artistry of their products ensure a delightful experience on your big day. Additionally, they offer a diverse range of options, including individual sandwiches for bridal showers and delectable pastries that cater to everyone's preferences.
We were passing through, minding our own business, when we spotted Dream Maker Baker. At first, I didn’t pay much attention to it, but then I noticed that it is the home turf of the makers of… The World’s Largest Whoopie Pie! I quickly spun the car around and went back (literally). It was a good move. Besides a bacon, 2 eggs, and cheese breakfast sandwich, I got a Fluffernutter Whoopie Pie! That was consumed hours later with some delicious milk at a picnic table in a lovely park. It was probably the Worlds Best Whoopie Pie! I had a coffee with the breakfast sandwich. It was a combo of the Artisan Light Blend and Vanilla Caramel- also quite tasty! The staff was nice, everything was great. I’m glad we stopped there that day. It’s too bad, this place is so far from Home. If you’re in the area, I definitely recommend stopping here and getting a fluffernutter Whoopie pie. Mmm, Whoopi Pie. D’oh, I should have bought two when I was there.

I've been working for killington for three years. And it's the first time. I have eaten a good sandwich, the best donuts, the service. It is the first time that I do not feel discriminated against. and the price is excellent. And I give it a ten out of ten and I will go weekly from today

Dream Maker Bakers hit the nail on the head. Our wedding cake was delicious and beautiful. We wanted an array of small options and went with a small cake, matching cupcakes, and a bunch of little shooters, cheesecakes, and cannolis. Everything was picturesque with a flavor to match.

Stopped in for breakfast, bought some pastries as well but haven’t eaten them yet. Breakfast biscuit was huge and very delicious! Breakfast burrito was just okay but I’ve found it’s not easy finding a great breakfast burrito, would definitely get a biscuit the next time. Excited to try pastries and the cakes, overall definitely worth the stop!

Perfect wedding cake = achieved! We had a vision, sent a few photos with our online order, and received an email to confirm everything in advance of the big day. It was the perfect set-up, coming from out of state to get married in Vermont. And the final product was even better than we could have imagined! Not only did it look beautiful and match what we were going for exactly, it was delicious, too, every layer (they were all different - we couldn’t choose, they all sounded amazing)! Thank you Dream Maker Bakers, we are so very lucky to have found you!! ❤️

I can’t recommend Dream Maker Bakers enough! They provided the desserts for our wedding day and everyone raved about our dessert bar (we had some leftovers and every single thing was gone by the next day!) I gave them our color scheme and a few other details and they set everything up beautifully. Very professional and incredibly delicious treats. I also tell everyone to stop by their store and order the mountain man breakfast sandwich. Its hands down the best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had! You can’t go wrong with anything on their menu.

Nestled in the picturesque town of Pittsfield, Vermont, Summit Lodge offers a cozy mountain retreat with a range of amenities. The lodge features two pools, tennis courts, and complimentary shuttle service for guests. Its dining options are a highlight, serving up delectable breakfast dishes like Eggs Benedict and chocolate chip pancakes with ice cream. The Saints Pub provides a warm and historic ambiance for dinner during the winter season.
My son and I had an amazing stay at the Summit lodge. The hosts were incredibly accommodating and attentive. The place is a treasure, real mountain lodge with a giant fireplace and a cozy Irish pub with well worn booths and festive spirit. Very special and made for a memorable ski weekend.
Mark R — Google review
This is not a 4.4 place. If you want to sleep, then the Summit is not the place. --Noise: The walls are so paper thin that you can hear noises all around outside your room, like people talking in their own rooms, doors slamming, people walking, all actions at the toilet (lids & seats closing, flushing, exhaust fan, etc.). The floorboards are so bad that each step is a loud groaning noise. Footsteps in the hallway and rooms sound like people are wearing concrete boots. To top it off there was a yelping dog that would not quit from 11:30 PM to 2 AM. It was impossible to get a good night's rest. --Room: It's a tiny space, big enough to hold a bed and not much room to walk around it. Although the room is clean, it looks and feels dirty because it needs a good renovation. It is way beyond "rustic". The carpeting is dingy, there are dents & scratches throughout, visible patches on a wall. The bathroom is so small that there is only a half sink. The toilet is scarred up on the lid and seat; it should be changed as an easy fix. The toiletries were not appealing with a horrible perfume; I chose to use my own toiletries instead. But the tub area was nicely tiled. The windows leaked and need to be replaced. This room was not pleasant. --The hotel itself needs a serious facelift throughout. It is dingy, dirty-looking. The one bright spot was a beautiful stone wood-burning fireplace that spanned a wall. I fail to understand how the Summit could be rated anything but 1-star. I won't be staying here again.

Took almost 25 minutes just to get someone to the desk to check us in. Sign said to press button on a phone for help. Pressed 4 times with no reply. Had to wander back into the restaurant to ask a waiter to find someone. Turns out there was someone 10 feet away from the phone standing in the kitchen listening to us pressing the phone and they just ignored it. Rooms are pretty bare bones and the linens had stains including the robes. but the facility itself is pretty damn cool. Sucks cause its a great location and the pools and such seemed like their pretty cool when heated(which i did not expect to be on during off season so that was ok.)

we didn’t stay just joined family that was staying there. the indoor hot-tub was worth every penny . kids big and small had a ball in it! out door pool also . it was heated. Bar in a nice downstairs location . we enjoyed sitting by fireplace and talking ! Rustic and charming are do words that do a great job describing it !

We stayed at the lodge from 12/22/24 - 12/27/24. Great place. Close to slopes, shopping and dining. Very charming, quiet at night, clean. Friendly staff, great restaurant and morning breakfast. Loved the outdoor pool, hot tub and romantic fireplace. They're already booked for Christmas week 2025. Hoping someone cancels.😊

The Summit Lodge in Killington offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere from the moment you step inside. The vibrant energy of the building is perfectly matched by the hospitality of the owner, staff, and fellow guests. O'Dwyer's Pub serves outstanding food and drinks that delight your taste buds without stretching your budget. I highly recommend this establishment year-round— for it's cleanliness and there’s always something to celebrate and enjoy at the Summit Lodge, no matter the season.

My husband and I enjoyed our time at Summit Lodge. The employees and the owner of the resort were very welcoming and helpful. The rooms were quaint, could use a mini fridge/microwave, and storage space in the bathroom. Fortunately we were there in the winter so put our coolers on the terrace. Walls are thin but the beds were comfortable. The lodge itself is amazing! A ton of places to relax, enjoy the outdoor pool, hot tub, a game of pool or darts, and lots of other games to play around the place. I would love to book a large group to come up in the winter. This place was very family friendly and gave you the rustic, lodge feel! One thing to remember is the pub is not open Mon - Wed so after a long day on the mountain you may want to stop on your way back or get something delivered. The day we did get to go to the pub we had a great time and enjoyed the food and drinks!! Thank you for a wonderful vacation and we hope to see you again!!

We had an amazing weekend at the Summit Lodge. Our original trip was Thursday night - Sunday morning checkout. We enjoyed our stay so much we ended up staying Sunday night as well! The hot tub was clean and large, and we loved the outdoor plunge pool. A huge highlight for us was the pub which offered delicious entrees and great service. The staff was incredible kind and accommodating. Overall perfect weekend getaway for a couple - we will definitely be coming back.

Pizza restaurant
Previously known as Outback Pizza, Mary Lou's in Killington, Vermont has become renowned for its delectable pizzas and cozy atmosphere. It is considered the best pizza spot in the area, even by a New Jersey native like myself. Visiting this establishment with my family was like taking a trip down memory lane. The food and overall experience were truly exceptional. One nostalgic touch that caught my attention was the presence of Shirley Temple on their menu, reminding me of my childhood days.
We went in with no expectations and were blown away by the ambiance. The live fire in the middle of the space spreads an aroma of smoke and coziness, and the band playing music was on point. And then the pizza - cooked to perfection in the wood oven, topped with pepperoni, red onion, and ricotta. Drizzled with Mary Lou’s hot honey and we were in Lou Lou heaven. These are high-level slices. Bravo!
Simon R — Google review
The food is tasty (if a little burnt and small) the service is friendly if a little slammed (we were told they are normally slow on Fridays) and the atmosphere was very relaxed. We would definitely return.

I had a white pizza pie of the day with onions, garlic, ricotta, tomato and balsamic drizzle. It was delicious! This was my first place to dine while on my first Killington vacation. I love the chill, eclectic vibe and all the staff were so nice - all the servers, staff, and even what appeared to be the cook all checked on me and asked if everything was good. I would recommend.
Amy B — Google review
I used to come here after every ski sesh when it was outback pizza. Fast forward to 10/10/2022 Mary Lou’s deserves the title of best pizza in Vermont ( I’m allowed to say being from New Jersey). I came here with my family and it was a trip down memory lane! It was an amazing experience here with the food and atmosphere! the fact that they advertise a Shirley temple on the menu brought back my childhood, 10/10 the onlyyyyyyyy thing it needs to bring back is the popcorn machine. Glad to see the koala is still on that tree after 20 years!
Brandyn — Google review
Pizza was good but very expensive for what it is. $28 for a 14" meat lovers!? They did have a gluten free pizza option so that was great for my wife with celiac but that was really expensive too. Be sure to ask prices on the drinks because they aren't on the menu. They mark those up a lot as well. I get that it's going out at Killington but it was $160 for two pizzas and a few drinks for 2 adults and a 4 year old Fun atmosphere especially when they have live music.
Chad G — Google review
Mary Lou's is a special place. The atmosphere and service is impeccable. The pizza is even better. I have not come across a thinner stretched dough since I visited Italy. The balance of flavors is done to perfection. If in Killington they are a must to enjoy some of the best pizza you will ever have!
Peter J — Google review
Came to Marylou’s for Apriski and loved this place. I come from NYC and this wood fired pizza is one of the best tasting pizzas I’ve had. We had the bbq chicken and pepperoni with xtra cheese. Both fantastic. We even had leftovers and warmed up next day which was even better! Will definitely be back on my next ski run in killington
Helen A — Google review
We just tried Mary Lou’s for the first time and let me tell you….. it’s all in the crust! Kevin and Courtney are crushing it. We went on a Tuesday night live music was excellent. Space was warm and inviting. Great folks with big smiles greeting at the door. We had The meatballs and salad to start. The meatballs were so good we ordered a second round! The Margarita pizza was perfect! As I said before it’s all in the crust and theirs was pretty damn near perfect. No charring from the wood fired pizza oven and the topping were just enough. Did I mention the crust? We all enjoyed our beverages and the crown to cap off the meal was old school ice cream sandwiches for dessert. What a great surprise. See you guys again real soon!
