The Killington Adventure Center is a thrilling hub for a variety of adrenaline-pumping activities, making it an ideal destination for families and thrill-seekers alike. One of its main attractions is the Beast Coaster, a 4,800-foot roller coaster that winds through lush greenery, offering breathtaking views of the surroundings. Additionally, visitors can explore hiking trails leading to Killington Peak.
Enjoyed our time here last weekend! We only did the mountain coaster but it was a lot of fun. Unfortunately, my phone flew out of my pocket halfway through the ride, but the staff were chill about letting me look for it. Definitely recommend securing your phone as this coaster picks up tremendous speed! The zip lines looked a little lame but the dirt biking trail was huge. Pretty pricey but it’s worth visiting for a few hours.

I do not recommend this place for a family trip. There are some fun things for the kids, but we encountered a few problems. The main attraction is the Near Mountain coaster. Unfortunately, when we were there, we only got to go on twice before they closed it for several hours due to maintenance issues. They will offer no refund, discount nor any rain check for this. When I went into the snack bar to buy two Gatorades the cost was $18.15. It was over nine dollars per Gatorade. The food prices are exorbitant. If you come here, I recommend you go to one of the local restaurants or bring your own food.
Tom G — Google review
I went there first thing they opened. I got the adventure ticket bundle so I can try everything and zip line for my first time. Soaring Eagle and Coaster was definitely my top favorite. The Skye rope coarse is ok, just scary to look down and just see maze and cement. Took a break to get food and beverage, it was outrageous prices. Cost me $11 for fountain drink (no free refill) and Doritos. Lastly I did zip lining. The teaching and everything was excellent. I was 3rd person out of the group and they explained before about the brake box that slows you down at the end, well mine unfortunately broke and my whole body slammed to the end of the line and bounced me back. I did end up with upper body ache and 2 baseball size bruise on my leg from hitting the end of the pole. The associate was so shocked that it happened because of how hard it hit me did ask me if I’m okay just shocked from it. Not my ideal for first time zip lining.

Bought the all day adventure pass that included everything! Started out with the gondola ride and then hiked the J trail loop which had magnificent scenery! Then did the soaring eagle and then the maze and then the high ropes obstacle course and then the mountain coaster and then the zip line which went over the very large pond. All employees and guests were very nice and helpful! Had lunch in snowshed lodge. Day went by too fast and doesn’t it always when u are having a lot of fun! Mountain biking trails are fun! 😃

We were in the area and saw the signs for the place, the park is so cool and activities are so adventurous yet kids friendly! Unfortunately we went one hour before closing time so got a ticket for one activity only! The park is definitely on my list for next visit!

We went for a vacation to Carrington and this is a must see attraction for kids in any age.. great location and lots and lots of activities for kids.. We were told that this place is very famous for mountain biking, but we could not do it because it was so expensive.. It takes a lot of time to buy tickets and also finish all the formalities. I think it is worth to get the tickets in advance. .. tickets costed about $76 per person which I think was a bit expensive but some rides were fun.. everything inside was expensive food drink, and snack snacks.. The tickets also included a gondola ride, which was fun .. gondola ride alone costed about $35 and I’m not sure if it is worth that money.. we just love the mountain coaster.. initially we thought it was a slow ride, but on the way down, it was really nerve-wrecking . Kids loved it and went for another round… the issue is every ride takes at least 30 minutes of wait time.. zip line was good, but you had to walk along way and also climb lots of steps .. will be really difficult for old people and also people with knee pains. We actually like the eagle eye coaster again with the wait time of 20 to 25 minutes… kids also like the maze and rope adventure.. overall it was a good 5-6 hours of fun, but I still feel it was a bit expensive. 4 stars.
Raj S — Google review
Only giving two stars because the bathrooms at the top of the Gondola were clean and parking was easy. However, everything else was overpriced and not great. Two adults we spent maybe 45 minutes here - and primarily did some of the easier trails. The 'cashier' at the window was useless to explain things to us, the bathrooms at the adventure center were disgusting and had a toilet over flowing (it was 10am and they supposedly just opened). The mountain coaster was fun, but we were only able to ride it once because of all the children cutting in line and screaming they wanted on before anyone else. The soaring eagle seemed really cool, but the attendant buckled us in, and raised us up then announced she couldn't get the ride to work properly so told us to come back later. We definitely did not feel safe to just 'come back later'. The ropes course looked kind of fun, but again children were cutting the line and running everywhere without employees saying anything or parents stopping it from happening. None of the food places were open and when I asked Employees when they opened, no one was able to give me an answer besides 'soon'. Im not sure what that means when its lunch time at noon and nothing is open for food? Gondola was fine. However, when I asked Employees at the adventure center where it was, I was told initially we could walk. When looking for it, I asked another employee where to even walk to, and he told us to just drive because it 'would be quite a hike to walk there'. We didnt have kids with us, but some of the kids things they did have were not working or broken, as we overheard a number of parents complaining or telling their children they couldn't play because things were broken. We didnt attempt the zipline as I was told I couldn't have my side pouch, and had to give it to the employees. My pouch contained medical items and personal belongings that I dont feel comfortable handing to a teenager to keep an eye on. Overall, we would have had more fun just going on a hike or a bike ride instead 🤷‍♀️
Cheyenne R — Google review
This is what $320 + tax gets you at the Killington Adventure Center: a small playground and an even smaller bike loop. Complete JOKE with several attractions closed for maintenance and the others closed for a wedding - with ZERO notice when you purchase tickets. We waited through a line for the Mountain Coaster so that the EMPLOYEES could take turns going on the ride themselves (pictured), just for them to only let half of our group go and close it before the other half could. They lied about having a military discount - which we also didn’t find out until after we bought tickets. Their solution for all of this? A $10 “Brighten Your Day” voucher. We had to talk to 3 different people and wait through a line twice just to get the tickets refunded. I will never return and would NEVER recommend this complete trainwreck to anyone unless I wanted to ruin their vacation as well.

Hiking area
Killington Resort is a popular destination offering 155 trails and 21 lifts across 6 peaks, providing a vast ski area with a vertical drop of 3,050 feet. Beyond skiing and snowboarding, the resort offers year-round activities such as hiking and mountain biking when the snow melts. Known as "The Beast," Killington is famous for its long ski season, making it a hotspot in winter and the "King of Spring" for New England Park Rats.
Killington is a great ski resort in central Vermont, with plenty of terrain and amazing mountain operations. There are multiple peaks to explore that have everything from groomers to glades and mogul runs. The lodges are conveniently placed all around the resort, making for plenty of places to stop in. The lifts are mostly modern and fast, with only a few old, slow, fixed grip lifts. Overall, it's a great mountain to spend some time at. Highly recommended!
Lucas ル — Google review
We enjoyed our time here. Trails were nicely groomed. A little hard to get from peak to peak. Really have to plan ahead. But still had a great time and some fantastic runs. Peak to creek was very fun!
Bethany S — Google review
We get a pretty rad crew up to Killington every year to rip up the mountain bike trails. It never disappoints. We can't wait until next year. And, having the US Open pro downhill race going on was a plus!!
Howard C — Google review
Did the gondola scenic ride, it was a gorgeous view from the top during the fall. The view isn't really on the gondola, but when you get to the top and walk to the viewpoint. It's a quick stop that's worth the view!
Alyssa C — Google review
Awesome mountain in central VT! With so many peaks and chairlift pods it feels like there’s unlimited terrain and areas to explore. Definitely feels like the closest thing the NE has to Colorado or Utah. I also love how the different areas change throughout the day, so it feels like a new trail each time.
Julia S — Google review
I have only been here 3 times all for Spartan Races. I love it, will be back next year. But also want to come for Mountain biking and maybe try skiing or snowboarding one-day.
John F — Google review
Skiing here was incredible. Went in November for the Women’s World Cup and got two feet of snow. Even the Fitz & the Tantrums were there. One of the best skiing days of my life.
Noah B — Google review
Loved my time skiing at Killington. It was my first time, and everything went smoothly starting from rental to dining at the food court to having beers at the long trail pub. The views on top of the slopes is breathtaking! Though it was really cold, it was totally worth it. I loved how they had multiple green trails and easy to get on and off the lifts. Will def be back again!

Snowshed Lodge is an ideal starting point for beginners with a selection of ski schools and well-groomed beginner-friendly cruisers. The lodge offers access to runs via quad and also features the Woodward Mountain Park for those feeling more adventurous. Visitors can relax at the cute yellow-coated umbrella cabana space with an outdoor deck, enjoying bar snacks and signature cocktails.
Excellent experience at Killington! Best place to put on Equipment, leave belongings, get food, meet friends and get a drink. BTW the musician upstairs was the best music I have heard all week. We enjoyed listening to him Friday evening.

I went to the Bike Park and had an amazing experience. Lots of trails to pick from including cross country, technical, and those with more jumps and berms. The rentals are also kept in very good condition and the staff was very kind in making sure we were comfortable with the bike and safety equipment, of which I used their shoes and full face helmet. The only downside was that the food was very expensive for frozen food.
Sufian I — Google review
It is one of the older lodges at Killington with several sitting areas, enough room for larger crowds.. It also has a rental, Potter Bros ski and ride shop and a Killington shop for rental and shopping.. It is my favorite lodge with great access to the mountain and amenities
Meltem B — Google review
The Snowshed Lodge was a great place for me to sit and work while my daughters were skiing. I enjoyed the views. The top floor setup reminds me of a cafeteria, but it worked for me. The biggest surprise came on Friday when there was live music in the adjacent pub. Dan Brown is one of the most amazing solo music musicians I have ever heard! He played such a great songs and I couldn’t help but sing along! Awesome! Look for him wherever you can see him perform! I have a short video clip attached.

I recently went skiing in Killington and had a great experience overall. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, making our trip even more enjoyable. The mountains themselves were truly amazing - there was plenty of snow and a great variety of runs to choose from. The views from the top of the mountain were breathtaking, and we spent hours skiing and exploring the slopes. However, there was one super minor issue that we encountered during our visit - the lifts did not have footrests. This made it quite difficult for us to rest our legs while we were riding up the mountain, and by the end of the day, we were definitely feeling the toll it had taken on our bodies. Overall, I would highly recommend skiing at Killington. The friendly staff and incredible mountain scenery make it a great destination for skiers of all levels. The only thing to keep in mind is that the lifts do not have footrests, so you may want to take some extra precautions to avoid leg fatigue. Despite this small issue, I had a fantastic skiing experience at Killington and would definitely go back again.

Functional, but dated lodge. A great meeting spot for groups of varying ability because it is that the base of green circle trails. The food is decent albeit expensive as expected. The chili was excellent and I was pleasantly surprised with the jalapenos!
Arthur L — Google review
This was an absolute great first time experience in skiing. The "learn how to ski" instructors were extremely friendly and helpful and after three mornings were able to take to the slopes with confidence. Truly amazing experience and would highly recommend Snowshed.

The K-1 Lodge is one of the three base lodges at the resort, offering a range of amenities and services. Visitors can seek assistance from friendly staff at the kiosks for guidance on navigating the area. The lodge features a cozy fireplace, free baggage storage, a bar, and a coffee station. Its food court offers diverse dining options including oven pizza, grill items, deli sandwiches, salads, and nachos.
Exceeds all expectations. Clean and spacious, crowded on busy long weekends. Staff is helpful but lines can be long wait. They have 2-3 reps to help at the service desk. Self check scanners for checking your RFID card for the information are available at the lodge and faster if you need to check quickly if tickets are loaded. Parking lots are always busy and full on weekends. If someone is dropping you off then you can take the car up to the steps at loading unloading zone: be mindful of the buses and other vehicles; lots of skiers walking and kids running. K1 Gondola will take you to Killington peak. It’s a nice long run combination of Greens and blues. Jamaican lodge has good food for lunch/snack stop. K-1 Lodge has restrooms and tables chairs but always taken and busy on weekends as usual. We come here every year and it’s always nice. Accessible parking and entrance for special needs also is available.
Tina G — Google review
It’s a huge lodge, couple floors. The day I went it was packed, not a seat inside. Thanks for the extra seating outside and the fireplaces. Surprisingly, the chow line moved quick - even an expedited line for chicken tenders and fries. Overall great vibe. Loved the jams too.
Nate B — Google review
The summer scenic gondola ride was so fun! We’re from Texas so it was really neat to see the ski run in summer. We hiked around a little at the top and grabbed a snack at the food truck. Overall really cool experience!
Amanda B — Google review
This was our first visit to the K-1 Lodge since it was rebuilt a few years ago. Killington did a fantastic job with the design of their main lodge at the resort. K-1 is as nice as the lodges at Lincoln Peak in Sugarbush and Spruce Peak in Stowe, which set the standard for east coast ski lodges. Bravo Killington!
A R — Google review
The K-1 Lodge is a modern, striking base lodge that really represents Killington as a resort. There is a very conveniently configured food court, a sit-down pub, extensive seating area, lift ticket pickup, guest services, gift shop, restrooms, and much more. The decor inside is stunning, and the architecture of the outside is beautiful as well. The lodge js also cleverly located next to the K-1 Gondola, making for a great place to take a break or eat. Highly recommended!
Lucas ル — Google review
I had a great time in the lodge before ascending to the killington peak. I had a lovely time sipping an adult hot chocolate around the outdoor fire.

All around great place to spend time. Great place to relax, the foods good and they have mountain bike trails all over the place. Lifts for bikes and skiers. One way or another you can ride the trails year round up here . If you can try to visit in the peak of leaf peeping season. At peak it's one of the most beautiful places on the face of the earth. Def worth a visit!!!

Snowmobile Vermont offers 1-hour and 2-hour tours starting at $119 per person, with a kid-friendly option available. It is recommended to book in advance as tours tend to sell out. The team is accommodating when it comes to rescheduling due to weather conditions. Visitors from Florida had an amazing time on the two-hour tour, describing it as the best vacation activity ever.
Surprised my husband for our 18th Wedding Anniversary with a 2 hour snowmobile tour. He said it was one of the greatest gifts I could have ever gotten him. Super fun experience for any level of rider. My wife has never drove a snowmobile before and was able to do the 1 hour tour with no problem. It’s a great way to get on the mountain and explore if you have any people in your family or group of friends who don’t ski. Highly recommend them!!

From start to finish, Eli made our snowmobile tour an unforgettable experience that combined excitement, education, and pure fun. Eli’s expertise and passion for snowmobiling were evident from the moment we arrived. His patience and ability to explain things clearly made a big difference, especially for some in our group who were new to snowmobiling. Once on the trails, Eli’s skill as a guide truly shone. The lodge provides quick access to the mountain via gondola, although parking can fill up fast on busy days. Bummed this gondola is closing up at the end of the season. Curious to see what replaces it, otherwise peak to creek will be tough to navigate!

I use Skyeship Base Lodge exclusively when skiing Killington. I ride Skyeship Gondola from Skyeship Base Area to the top of Stage 2, spend the day skiing up on the mountain and when I'm ready to call it a day I ski 🟢Great Eastern all the way down to Skyeship Base, take my skis off & get in the car. It's perfect for skiers who are there to do nothing but ski. When Skyeship Stage 1 is closed, I get dropped off at Bear Mountain Base in the morning and picked up at Skyeship Base in the afternoon. If 🟢Great Eastern isn't open to Skyeship Base, I get picked up at Bear.

We met a bartender at the new bar, his name was Joe. He made us feel very welcome, almost like it cheers feeling where you could just sit and relax and not feel rushed. I imagine if it gets super crowded it would be a little more intense, but it wasn't crowded that day and we felt relaxed and very welcome because of the bartender Joe. Highly recommend a visit here!

GO HERE! This mountain is amazing. So many trails to carve here. The food is good, staff is friendly, the guides are super helpful. I'm a boarder and they advised I avoid juggernaut as it looks great on the map but it's really all flat and I'd be pushing most of the way. The terrain parks are great and there are lots of sasquatch statues to take a look at.

Killington Bike Park, also known as "the beast of the east," is a premier destination for mountain bikers. With three lifts servicing different areas, including beginner and intermediate trails at Snowshed, it's an ideal place for progression.
Best bike park ever ! We had a blast during our 2-day bike trip to Killington. I highly recommend Blue Magic and Jump Start if like to jump and Black Magic if you are a freeride fan ! The jumps are so intuitive with the speed of the trails. Will comeback every year !!

Edit--over weekend at Massanutten Bike Park (where E-bikes aren't looked down upon) see pictures of Alpim carriers used, pay extra attention to the weight rating picture and my E-bike weight on Park bike scale. Killington needs to reevaluate their E-bike policy and not discriminate against any bike just because it's an "E-bike". Get with the times Killington. Recently over July 4th weekend, after traveling 1000 miles to reach Killington, we had 2 major problems with the resort. 1) Killington Website showed the premier trail "Black Magic" as open and it was in fact closed, still being worked on a month after park opening. Super disappointing that there is no transparency on their website. 2) K-1 Gondola lift turned us away for ebikes even though our ebikes are 39-43 lbs, the same or comparable weight as Downhill bikes that are ALLOWED. Bike carriers on K-1 are Alpim brand rated to 66lbs yet the resort discriminates against ebikes for no apparent reason. I confirmed that ebikes (or any 2-wheeled vehicle) weighing under 66lbs are fine on these carriers directly with Alpim in France. "Our (Bi Clip and Bi Basic bike) carriers can carry any 2-wheeled vehicle weighing less than 66 pounds. if your electric bike weighs 60 pounds, it's OK Best regards Sylvie ANTHOINE Picture is from Bike Carrier's website to confirm Killington uses the same brand and model yet does not take the time to understand that a "normal bike" vs. "ebike" does not matter! Weight restriction is stated, why not follow manufacturer technical specs?? We felt slighted on 2 fronts by the resort, Guest Services told us that "no ebike weighs less than a normal bike", but that is simply not true, DH bikes and many ebikes are well above 40lbs, most e mountain bikes top out at 55lbs, ours at most 43lbs, this makes NO SENSE! Killington mis-represents their trail status online and discriminates against ebikes, both policies are not only ignorant to reality but also dishonest and we invested a lot of time and money to go there only to see this blatant mis-management of park features, trail status and equipment.

If the place is fully open, it may be good. This was not our experience. One lift was broken. The other lift had all the go od trails closed. We did not feel they provided the experience we paid for. When we asked for some kind of refund they offered us a credit for another potentially crappy day. Thanks but no thanks. When a business fails to provide the services you paid for you would expect some kind of compensation.

Awesome. Best flow trails ever. Procession from jump start, blue magic, black magic. 40 table tops a lap on blue and black magic. Maybe 10 on jump start. Black magic is comparable to whistler A line but in way better shape and no lines.

Highly recommended. I have been mountain biking for about 3 years but this was my first time ever doing downhill. It was wild! We had a great day exploring all the trails. There’s a nice variety of trails like technical single tracks to wider freestyle tracks with nice berms and great jumps. Killington does a great job with this! I would love to come back and do it again
Rex A — Google review
Website consistently over reports which trails are opened. Not opening the gondola mid week is lame. Left pretty disappointed in the park, compared to its reputation.
Kyle M — Google review
Killington Bike Park, also known as "the beast of the east," is the premier bike park for New England downhill mountain biking. The park has been crafted by the same trail designers (Gravity Logic) as Whistler Bike Park in British Columbia, Canada. There are three lifts servicing three different areas of the bike park. Snowshed offers a number of beginner and intermediate trails with a dedicated focus on progression features. Ramshead offers a combination of intermediate and advanced jump trails, big flowy high speed berms, and fast technical terrain. The K-1 Gondola offers service to the Killington Summit and gives way to stunning views and a variety of trails for all skill levels to enjoy. What separates Killington from other New England bike parks, like Thunder Mountain and Highland Bike Park, is the proximity to quality lodging and nightlife. If you're planning a multiday trip, then this is an ideal spot to spend a few days.

Terrible experience at Killington. Snowshed lift was closed with mechanical issues, and thats where all the easier trails are. Ramshead side is open but all the good trails are closed. There were 10 year olds crying on the blue trails because there were no smooth green trails for them to ride. Rode 30 minutes, tried to get a refund and no dice. I'll never spend a dime at Killington in summer or winter again.

If you're looking for a cozy and convenient place to stay while enjoying the slopes, Pinnacle Condos is an excellent choice. Nestled near the Killington Grand Hotel, these condos offer easy access to outdoor adventures and are equipped with full kitchens, making meal prep a breeze. Guests have enjoyed their stays here during events like the Spartan Race due to its proximity and value. While some units may show signs of aging, they remain clean and comfortable.
Best place to stay and maintenance guys are so nice and helpful as well! Pool and tub are perfect!
Rayanne V — Google review
I guess they're probably ok during the winter months, but nothing seems to be geared toward summer visitors who may be here for various reasons. Mattresses are generally noisy and uncomfortable (the couch felt better, but that's not how things should be). No AC. We had so many issues. The spa and lounge are closed in summer. Honestly, our stay kinda sucked.
Andrew M — Google review
Google maps list these units as having air condition, they do not have air conditioning. The TV was an absolute nightmare to figure out how to work and one of them didn't work. My family and I have stayed out a lot of different places and typically we don't complain but this place just had so many little annoying things. Every time we had to open the door we had to body check it. For what we paid it wasn't a bad deal but I don't think we'll stay here again.
Leon C — Google review
The unit was fairly nice but that was about it. The kitchen contained a ridiculously small amount of cooking/eating utensils. The staff would sometimes drop off towels but never collect the dirty ones, leaving a pile of about 30 dirty towels by the end of the week. They advertised a hot tub when it wasn't even working majority of the time. Lastly, a small rip in the couch (which was there when we arrived) was deemed as "property damage" and we got charged $200 for it. With no way to prove that the rip was already there, we had to just stomach the absurd fine. Very unprofessional.
Travis M — Google review
Nice place, good price. It was clean but our condo was due for a "refresh". Not bad...basic signs of aging, paint could be done and decor a little dated. I would stay again.
Kirk B — Google review
Spent two nights here for this year's Spartan Race. With a larger group, this was a great value that was very close to the event. No A/C and the weather was on the warm side but otherwise a great stay.
Dan M — Google review
We stayed in F block and had no problems. The condo was warm, the water was hot and the shuttles to the mountain came on time as advertised. No complaints from me!
Kevin L — Google review
Very good location in relation to the slopes. The kitchen had all of the pots and pans we needed and there is a full size refrigerator.

Whether you're a vegetarian craving delicious veggie wraps and an array of pasta options or a meat enthusiast eager to savor herb-marinated sirloin and juicy burgers, this eatery has something for everyone. It's the perfect spot to satisfy your cravings after a day of adventure!
On a clear day the view is unbeatable. Food has greatly improved over the past few years in the canteen. The bar is fabulous- the Bloody is expensive with the trimmings but makes for a great spicy light lunch! 🙂Treat yourself & you won’t be disappointed.

If you're skiing at Killington you should go to the top and get lunch at the peak lodge. Great views of the green mountains. The food is ok but expensive since it's resort food. But it's worth stopping for a drink and taking in the views. There's a food court and a full bar.
Matt S — Google review
The food is decent but the views are great! It’s worth a stop even if it’s just for a drink. The burger & fries are decent. Prices are to be expected for this type of location, not cheap, but I do not come here for a meal. A snack & a drink suffices while relaxing & taking in the view.

Waffle Cabin is a beloved spot at the base areas, where the sweet scent of warm waffles fills the mountain air. Visitors, especially kids, rave about these irresistible treats. The waffles are coated in pearl sugar and can be topped with decadent melted chocolate. Many have fond memories of indulging in these delicious waffles and express a strong desire to return for more.
Absolutely incredible waffles. I'm sure this is the nostalgia talking, but this waffle house has a special little place in my heart. The waffles are delicious, they are coated in pearl sugar and you can even get them with decadent melted chocolate over them. I barely get to come up to this mountain anymore, but when I do, I get these waffles. If you told me I had to kill a man to get these waffles, I would happily oblige.

Park
Gifford Woods State Park, nestled at the base of Killington and Pico peaks in Vermont, is renowned for its old-growth hardwood tree stands. The park offers a variety of hiking trails suitable for all levels, including access to the Appalachian Trail. Visitors can enjoy camping, picnicking, and fishing within the park's 113 acres of protected northern hardwood forest. The campground provides various accommodation options and amenities such as running water, restrooms, showers, and recreational facilities.
Great campground with lots of trails and a beautiful pond across the street. The sites are well kept, like most state parks, and you can find some that are secluded. The App Trail runs through the campground, so there's lots of foot traffic. The lean-tos here are better than most I've seen. Most have room enough for tens and maybe a camper for a larger group. If you don't like road noise, avoid the lower loop sites. Rt 100 is right there. This is my go-to local campground and I'm happy to have it in my backyard. Oh, and the showers are super hot. Be careful!
Dale C — Google review
This campground was built by the civilian conservation core way around the 1930s and is still in pristine condition . Very clean, the park staff were helpful and friendly. There are no electric sites and water is available at a fill station not at each site. But the sites are clean and well separated. People with large campers over 30 feet will have a problem potentially. Excellent Mountain bike trails and is short drive to Killington.
Aaron S — Google review
We camped here Labor Day weekend and our spot was nice and private with woods surrounding most of our site. Not too buggy and the water spigot and bathroom were close by. The lean to was spacious and a great structure to have with our two dogs. Will come back again!
Mandy M — Google review
Beautiful park and excellent camping facilities. Easy access to the Appalachian Trail and a bunch of other trails. I wish they had some rv sites with electric connections.
Marie T — Google review
Absolutely amazing place to camp. The sites are well spread out giving you plenty of privacy. Right next to the Appalachian Trail and mountain bike trails. We drove about 15 minutes to the Green Mountain trails - HIGHLY recommend for mtb. There is a little deli for breakfast/lunch sandwiches less than 3 minutes up the road, also has lots snacks and drinks. There are also a few restaurants up the road. The facilities on site were amazing and clean and very well cared for. The shower was a major plus with very good water pressure - great after a long day outside! Very friendly and helpful staff as well. We will definitely be coming back here.

Joe J — Google review
Beautiful State Park. Quietest campground I have ever spent time in! Sites are large and spread out enough for privacy. Bathrooms might be a bit of a walk for some, and no dishwashing stations (really the only down side)
Pati K — Google review
We camp along the Mill river in the Appalachian mountains every year. We are able to get showers at Gifford woods. (10 min for $1) Also hiking trails on site & a very centralized spot for many others. If you are looking for a different camping experience then ours, they offer tent & cabin sites (fee)
