Worst Subway around the "manager" Amber is the worst all she does is argue and tell you how wrong you are. Anytime we bring something up you get nothing but attitude and eye rolling. She said stop coming to my location i look at your complaints and we're not going to change anything. I wish she would be held responsible but probably won't happen.

I’m from out of town and just looking for a bite to eat. Stopped in and immediately thought the place looked really clean. The three employees all greeted me. They all (two young men and one young lady) were friendly, courteous and attentive to their jobs. At a Subway back home, two employees (male and female) got into a fight right in front of me! No such problems here from my viewpoint. Keep up the good work guys and gal!

Ms. Lucera/Lucia is very rude and absolutely shouldn't have a job if she continues to treat customers rudely. I walked in tonight to get a wrap for dinner. Opon checkout, she was VERY snotty and rude to me. I explained that Joplin always used my coupons for the wrap, and it wasn't an issue. She said very rudely and snotty, "Well, we're not Joplin." LOL! Yeah? Well, clearly..... I explained that her attitude wasn't necessary. She then thought it was funny, started laughing, and just continued on.... Next time, I'm pretty sure it will not hurt you to treat your customers with a little bit of kindness. If not, maybe you should find a different job. Just a thought. God bless you, good luck!

Management is very rude and has no customer service skills whatsoever. And the employee actually spit in my food I checked. By the looks of the reviews I’m not the only person who has had issues at this location. Definitely not going back

Walked in after a long day of work. We were hungry and needed to use the bathroom. The bathroom door was locked and the workers refused to open it because they were scheduled to close in a few minutes. I guess I should suggest an edit to change their business hours to show they close at 9:24 instead of 9:30.

Both a steakhouse and an American-style buffet restaurant, it's a wonderful spot for meat-lovers and family gatherings. The steaks are good, not great, but good. Might be a bit chewy (ordered medium-rare) but the juice and the flavors were there. A good range of options for the buffet, from fried chicken to meatloaf, to spaghetti and meatballs just to name a few. The dessert bar is definitely the highlight. So many great treats! Staff was helpful and welcoming. Highly recommended for locals and out-of-towners alike!

I was recently recommended to try Sirloin Stockade in Carthage, MO, so after running some errands nearby, I decided to stop in and check it out. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted and only had a short wait in line to pay. The buffet was $13.99 and looked pretty good from what I could see from the register. After getting seated, I headed straight for the buffet. It happened to be Seafood Friday, so there were plenty of options like shrimp, clam strips, fish, and clam chowder. I tried a little bit of the vast choices available—roast beef, pea salad, seafood salad, broccoli with cheese sauce, and a small cup of clam chowder. Overall, most of the food was good. The seafood salad really stood out as my favorite, fresh and flavorful. The only letdown was the clam chowder—it was thin and light on clams. A big shoutout to Nicole, though—her friendly and attentive service definitely made the visit even better. I’d go back again, especially on a Friday for the seafood options. Grub Score 7.0/10.0

An older brand that hasn't really changed much. The buffet choices are mostly the same as what I remembered from maybe 20 yrs ago last time I was at a Sirloin Stockade. Which is maybe a good thing, it was the middle of the afternoon and the place was full of mostly elderly folks who one might assume will like things just how they are! The food was fresh and all the pans were being replenished as needed. That's important at a buffet in the middle of the day. What I did notice was a general lack of salt in the dishes I tried. Everything had to be slightly seasoned at the table. I've no problem with that and possibly part of the lure for the older crowd. The restaurant was clean and well staffed, with some friendly waitresses. Restrooms were clean and there is plenty of free parking. Handicap access inside and out.

Welp, when I'm wrong, I'm gonna fess up. And I was almost wrong about Sirloin Stockade in Carthage, the key word being ALMOST. Here's my story... A co-worker and I were looking for a good lunch spot in Carthage when the Hillbilly saw "Tue. & Wed steak on our buffet" on Sirloin Stockade's sign. We whipped on to the VERY crowded parking lot and went in with visions of sirloins on our brains. But, after paying for the buffet, there were no steaks out. Hmm. Come to find out, (as the sign CLEARLY STATES) it was after 3 pm. Duh, dude, read the sign. So, once the HB got over his confusion, he hit the buffet with a newfound purpose. The buffet might have been smaller than some, but it was the BEST buffet of any kind I've had all year! The roast beef was great, the hot rolls were light and buttery, but the desserts... oh my! The Apple Cobbler was almost as good as Mom's! After speaking to Nicole, our server, (who was AWESOME by the way) we found out that this is one of only seven remaining Sirloin Stockades in the U.S. Kinda sad news, but this one ain't going nowhere, because the food, the service, and the selection is keeping them in business for sure!

Was a lot of loud talking. Steak was cooked perfect. They even honored my request for no black pepper due to a food allergy. Highly recommend.

Absolutely delicious! We've been to the location in Rolla and thought it was okay. Heard this location was better and it definitely is! Melt in your mouth brisket, flavorful meatloaf, baked potatoes brought to the table, cinnamon butter for the rolls, delicious apple cobbler, and a really great salad bar. They also have a fish-topped rice dish that was super unique and delicious. I'd give it 10 stars if I could!

it was busy. had a bus of people utilizing the rest rooms almost the whole time. and some of the veggies was cold. but overall it was really good. we made it a point to stop there this trip. its been a few years since we first went there. the restroom definitely left alot to be desired.

Wanted to go for a while to the Lucky J. They were busy for Friday night dinner. We had some Buffalo chicken dip for an appetizer. It was ok, it did have some spice. I ordered the house steak, baked potato, and baked beans. It was ok as well. Debbie ordered teriyaki kabobs, fries, and onion rings. She said the teriyaki was good. It was just okay. No hurry to go back.

Another awesome steak. If they had butter and not margarine for my baked potato it would have been 5 stars. Settled for suzies. No doubt the BEST ribeye around! Cooked perfectly again.

This place is very unique. The food was amazing and the service was fantastic. The fried mushrooms were awesome, and the onion rings were easily the best I've ever eaten. The house steak with the bourbon glaze was truly delicious. The mac and cheese was super cheesy, creamy, and absolutely delicious. The cinnamon apples were very good and just enough sweet for a nice dessert. The chicken fried steak was great, and the gravy was amazing. The overall atmosphere was super friendly. The place is a little bit of the main road, but if you're looking for a truly amazing steak, this is the spot. It's definitely worth a stop. If we're going back through the area, we'll be without a doubt making a stop here again.

My burger was the 6 shooter and it was life, it had spinach architecture dip along with two or three slices of bacon and was one of the best burgers I've ever had😋 and our server Larissa was awesome😀

This is my favorite Steakhouse in the world. The cheese curds are impeccable, ghe beef is local and fresh, the staff is friendly and service is speedy. I'd bring anyone here, anytime.

Decent grub, good service, and unique atmosphere. It was a little loud but what you'd expect on a busy Saturday before father's day. Cool to sit and see the arena but the glass was so fogged you couldn't really see much.

It’s like an old times 50 diner nice and relaxing. Service is good. My eggs was perfect. Nice brown hashbrowns. The biscuits and gravy was awesome. Great gravy definitely worth the stop.

Waitress was so nice and checked on us several times. The food portions were very big as well. We will definitely be going back! Update: Went back today! The food, service, and employees are great! 9/3/2025 update: We had fried mushrooms with ranch for appetizer, very good and was a large portion. We each had a cheeseburger combo and got Suzie Q's and onion rings so we could share. The cheeseburgers are amazing and the sides were fried to golden perfection!

Got the Farmers omelette and it was out lightning fast. Do you know how hard it is at chain restaurants to get them to make your hashbrowns crispy?! Iggy’s cook crispied up my hashbrowns perfectly. You couldn’t have gotten them better anywhere else. Omelette and everything else was done well. Staff was also very friendly and once again…good job cook! Rare for me to haul a load through these parts, but I’m definitely stopping again if I’m hauling a load through these parts.

My dinner was good ( chicken tender salad) but I hope to explore other menu items soon. The hamburger steak I saw on another table looked great so I definitely will check that out. The Diner was clean and inviting. Both waitresses were polite and friendly. Less than $20 for a decent meal in a nice, clean, friendly place. *****

The food was pretty good, but our waitress forgot to come take our order, which we weren’t upset about. Things happen. Then I got my hash browns and they were super dried out, stale, and tasted like old fryer oil. But she happily replaced them, so I wasn’t upset. Then my husband ordered a milkshake for dessert, and we waited 20 minutes for it, while the waitress stood at the front, eating and talking to her friends that were at the bar. We never did get our milkshake. We eventually gave up, paid, and left, and she never noticed.

I met my friend for breakfast and we ended up taking up this corner booth for over two hours. I haven't seen her in mumble-mumble years so we had a lot of catching up to do and on a Sunday morning, our waitress didn't mind that we sat here this long. The place wasn't all that busy. I chose the Mexican Skillet with my eggs poached. They were perfect, laid right on top with just the right amount of yolk to spill out onto the mixed hash. And oh boy, the jalapenos were HOT today. Quite a few of them and spicy enough that after a bit I was setting them to the side. Delicious! Coffee was great, food was great, service was great. Five stars.

There was a fly in my drink, which really ruined the meal for me. On top of that, the whole place feels completely different now—very Americanized, and the food quality has gone way down. My brother worked here briefly (a long time ago) and mentioned it wasn’t very clean behind the scenes, and honestly, I believe it. The place just doesn’t feel sanitary anymore.

Absolutely outstanding Mexican restaurant in Carthage. Exceeded all expectations. Order: Chorizo Queso Dip Appetizer Burrito Habanero Burrito Puerto Quesa Birria To start things off we were overwhelmed by the menu. So many wonderful choices that sounded delicious. We asked our server Lalo for some guidance and he came through in a big way. Very patiently and enthusiasticly explained how many of the dishes were prepared. Helped us so much with our order. The Chorizo Queso started us off and was excellent. The flavor and texture the sausage added to the cheese was wonderful. Both of the burritos we ordered were unique and flavorful. The Quesa Birria was wonderful. In particular the consomé had such fresh onion and cilantro. The only weak spot for me were the refried beans. Good texture but a bit weak in flavor. I'd like if they had more spices and a taste that could stand on its own. My wife wasn't a fan of the table hot space, thinking it tasted a bit too much of tomato paste and oregano (or some other traditionally Italian spice). I know, mostly small nit picks but it shows how great the rest of the meal was. We'll totally come back if we make it back to Carthage. Thanks again Lalo! 🙂

Wow! Great place. I picked it for a business dinner. From the outside, it looked like a quiet, cozy place to discuss business. Boy, was I wrong. The place was booming. Wait, staff rushing happily from table to table taking care of their guests. The food was amazing, and the place had a great vibe. I didn't get a lot of business done, but I will be back with my family every time I'm in the area. Would definitely recommend it.

Seems like quite a different menu from the normal Mexican places. The staff were great! The food was very good and hot! I recommend this place to anyone.

This little gem on Route 66 is amazing! The staff is incredible and actually make you want to be there. The food is served with generous portions. If you leave here hungry it is your own fault! The seating area is kind of cramped and in close proximity to everyone as the building is small. Want table side guacamole? Yes they have that. Need a mixed drink or an amazing margarita then look to further!!

This place rates a big meh. The food was OK and the interior of the restaurant is quite attractive. The service was excellent. But the food wasn’t good enough to justify the price. Truly big city prices for very routine food.

We had the hamburger hot plate and chicken fried steak hot plate. Both were very good! The potatoes and white gravy were both done right! Our server was exactly what you would expect in a family diner, friendly and attentive. We will be back!

Stopped in for dinner during our one night in Carthage. Pretty quiet for dinner, but really enjoyed the food in this old-school diner. Meatloaf with mashed potatoes and peas was one of the specials so I had to get it. Awesome comfort food. Great meatloaf and gravy. The meal wasn't heavy at all. We also ordered beef barley soup. So good on a chilly night. Super clean inside and the friendly service. The prices are beyond reasonable.

Wonder staff and a remarkable team. I just can’t wait until 29 celebrating my 66 birthday. Bringing home a butt load of his Fried Chicken it’s delicious. It’s a great and affordable place to have dinner with the entire family. I have never been disappointed in anyway!

Was skeptical about the breakfast but seeing great reviews on Google. So we showed up on Saturday morning on our way to Kansas City and we had a great breakfast. She had the scramble. I had the biscuits and gravy and everything was superb.

My opinion. Drive to a different town for this food. Service was great, but the food ahead, absolutely no flavor. I felt like the steak options was like I was eating state with veggies with no reason seasoning. ON ALL OF THEM. SOY SAUCE COULDN'T EVEN MAKE THE FRIED RICE TASTE GOOD. LIKE I SAID NICE PLACE NICE PEOPLE GREAT SERVICE BUT NO FLAVOR.

Honestly the most depressing chinese buffet I've ever been to. I hope you like soy sauce if you visit because that's the only way you're getting ANY flavor on your food. And took over 10 minutes and halfway through our plates before even having someone come take our drink order. The ice cream was the best part of the whole meal.

Ice cream was the best part of the meal. The buffet selection was so small you needed a microscope to see it. Also, if I wanted fried chicken or meatloaf, I would have gone elsewhere. The service was good at least. As others have said, expensive for what you get. Decor is a mix of 90s taco bell and funeral home.

I have had better Chinese food from the freezer section at Walmart. They have no selection & we had too wait 10 mins for them to make more food on the buffet. Restaurant only had maybe 20 people inside. I like to support small business but I definitely do not recommend this place, stay away & don't waste your money like us.

My partner and I dined in this week. The food has always been somewhat hit or miss but this experience was awful! We found a rock in our food and pulled it out after taking maybe 5 bites between the both of us. When we finally got attention from our server after waiting 10 minutes (and I promise this is not an exaggeration) for the servers to stop standing around at the host stand talking and come check in she took it back to the kitchen and returned our checks with one drink taken off and “God Bless” written across the top. A little ridiculous if you ask me considering there was a rock in our food and we didn’t eat even a quarter of it. When we took our check to the front to pay we requested to have more if not the entire check voided because we didn’t eat our food and ended up still paying for one persons buffet. My partner and I aren’t the type to argue so we just left but we definitely won’t be returning. Paying $15 for food that could potentially harm us and the staff acting like it’s not a big deal is more than alarming. If we were to have had our child with us and that been on a toddlers plate there would’ve been legal action taken.

For dinner every New Year, our family has Chinese food. It was a tradition started a few years back and each year we try a new place. This year we tried Bamboo Garden and one thing i noticed immediately was the prices. Adult buffet is $9.99, children under 10 are $4.99. I then noticed how small the buffet was. If you are used to large Chinese buffet places, then you will be disappointed at the select here, but if you are value quality over quantity then this is the place for you. I mainly ate the general chicken and though it was done well. I tried the white rice, fried rice, deep fried shrimp, potatoes, egg drop soup, egg rolls and crab rangoon. Everything was cooked well and I had no complaints with how the food was prepared. The kids had a couple bowls of soft serve ice cream after their dinner as that was the only dessert available. The Pancake Hut, a long time (since 1979) Route 66 staple is exactly what you'd expect from a place named the Pancake Hut--great diner food, breakfast served all day, and of course, great BIG pancakes. I had the Hut Special, a generous meal with two big, fluffy pancakes, bacon, eggs, and coffee. Food was great, service was polite and prompt. The atmosphere is what the sign out front says...no frills, just good food. Of course they do have one thrill (see the pictures). Overall, a great stop on a route 66 Trip through Missouri.

Maybe our favorite stop on our way into Carthage from Kansas, we make a point to stop at least once on our way. A perfect quaint griddle, lots of character perfect portions and some of the friendliest folks I've yet met in the show me state. It's worth getting up early to come in for the best omelets this side of the Mississippi. Club sandwich isn't nothing to sneeze at either.

Route 66 vintage and down to earth atmosphere with simple, good home like cooking - excellent service. We try to come here everytime we visit Carthage or are going through. Its a local favorite

Eat here! It is the best breakfast on the 66! The coffee is fresh, the cook is amazing and the waitress is the best!!! We ate here while staying at Boots Court and we will be back. The Hut Special was wonderful and very affordable.

I was on a motorcycle trip and ran across this place. The waitress was really nice and the food was delicious. Very fairly priced.

Nice clean place. The smell draws you in. The food we got wasn't the greatest unfortunately. I had the brisket sandwich which was dry as a bone. The wife got wing dings which were solid as a rock. The bright spot was the cheddar bites which were about as good as you could get. Hot fresh and stretchy. Staff was very friendly.

Plenty of room inside, portions are great and pricing is AMAZING!!! THE HAVE THE MEATS (from wings to brisket to bologna)

I can't recommend the pulled pork and sliced chicken enough! They are so flavorful that no sauce is needed. The potato salad is very creamy with a great flavor. The workers are incredibly friendly and regularly checking to see how you are doing. I will be back, for sure.

I was starving so I was looking for a decent fast food restaurant which I don't normally eat because I try to stay away from deep fried and all that. I was very very very very very very excited to see this drive-thru! I got the delicious turkey sandwich! I love smoked turkey! It was fantastic! I will definitely be back! I love supporting local businesses. Healthier choices. Really glad I found this place!

First off, the service here was terrific. They were nice to us staying in the parking lot. The restaurant was well maintained and the food was great. The sandwich was a little small, but it for the price.

First time there today. Saturday at lunch and they were out of ribs. The wings are the same as the ones Walmart serves in their deli. Fast food. We will not be going back.

Usually good but this time I got chicken wings and was very disappointed. The menu stated they were "Jumbo" wings and what I got, I consider to be Small or even extra Small. I also don't consider 20 wings to actually be "20 wing sections" that would actually equal 10 whole wings. $31.00 for 20 "wing sections" and two large orders of fried okra and a small tip included. Not at all worth it in my opinion. Won't buy wings again! I admit the pics look ok and taste was good but not worth the price at all.

The closest restaurant near where I live. I have been here lots of times, mostly just to grab a margarita and chips and cheese dip. However, last time I came it was not the best experience. On a positive note, the service is always great, fast, and attentive. For the negatives, the restaurant had an odd, sewage like odor (maybe it was just an off day with the pipes /water?) and their cheese dip was so thick it was hot to eat and the texture was not pleasant. I ordered the same dish I order at most Mexican restaurants around town, chicken fajita nachos, and there are much better places to get this dish in Carthage.

The service was outstanding. The food was great. They had a special on margaritas 2 for 5 bucks and they were great better than somevI have paid much for. The price of the meal with drinks was very affordable. The only thing I didnt care for was the salsa, it tasted like he had sugar in it. But that wasn't a deal breaker . I would recommend this place and if I get back to Carthage Mo. again I will definitely return . A+++

We looked at the menu and went with the buffet. Why order when you can make exactly what you want? The buffet had it all and I filled my plate with lots of goodies that were downright scrumptious! Too many choices to do justice but I’ll call out the cake dessert that was moist and made perfectly, the enchiladas, & the chipotle chicken mix that I put on top of a couple different things. Service was fast, she gave us refills when we were running low, & she brought the guacamole quickly (the salsa and the guacamole were both great). This was a wonderful meal and that’s not something I say about a lot of buffets. Try it, you’ll like it!

Ate here a few years ago during the buffet era, was not a fan. Had a pitcher of margaritas recently with friends but skipped the food. Today we had lunch and I enjoyed my meal. The restaurant was clean, the service was good, and I enjoyed my food. I would eat here again. Also, Molcajete wasn't on the menu but it was on the specials board!

Best thing, right next to Precious Moments and the piano man. I tip him to play Louie Armstrong 'la vie en rose' and 'what a wonderful world' while we ate, enjoyed our Italian lunch and chat. Awesome waitress, checking on us all the time too. Owner even greeted us on our way out. Can't beat all this.

The food did come out hot ...... apparently the A/C doesn't work ? Nothing like eating dinner and having sweat beading on your forehead in August ! Our waitress forgot us twice , not really that busy but hey it happens.... the large lady sitting behind me smelled of urine ... the food was ok and i did not get diarrhea so thats a plus .

This is a repeat visit to Taste of Italy. The waitress did not suggest anything or tell us about the specials, however all the staff were very friendly and we were checked on often throughout our meal. Their soft bread rolls were served to us immediately with marinara sauce, very yummy. We also got some pesto dipping oil, too and it was very good. My dining companion and I both ordered dishes with chicken and pasta. I ordered Chicken Murphy. I'm not sure how the chicken was prepared, it was covered in the sauce, but it did not have much flavor. It did not appear to be seared either. I think that would have taken the dish up a notch. The sauce was very good though and overall, I enjoyed my meal very much.

Best Italian food in the area!! The staff is wonderful, and the chef truly cares about the food and your enjoyment. Also be sure to save room for dessert!

The marinara sauce was absolutely horrible. I had the tomato basil soup that was really thin and tasteless. My wife had the pasta chicken some cream sauce. That was just okay. Our bill was 28 dollars. They charge 2% for using your debit card. Which is against Missouri law. Only if you use your credit card they can charge..

I have eaten here several times, but it was my first time to get the pizza. They offer traditional style as well as some more unique kinds. Our waitress was terrific and recommended the Alfredo pizza, and it was delicious!! The crust looked a little dark, but it was really good with a little bit of crispness and a nice flavor. The owner even came out to talk with us! I look forward to trying more of their delicious pizza.

We have always had great dinning experience at taste of Italy. Chef Aleks does a great job. Nice portions and always taste great. Gets 5 stars even though he is a chiefs fan.😁

I ordered the Frito pie and it was great. We going out about this place from the Maple Leaf Bicycle Ride. It hit the spot after our ride.

Im not sure where people who love this place usually eat but I dont think they get out much. Sandwiches are way over priced for what you get and the amount of times the microwave goes off is concerning. The sandwiches should be offered to be toasted, I was a little shocked to be served a floppy $11 sandwich which btw they got 2 of them wrong but it was just missing added items. This place is for the boomers with little cherwing involveds, just go somewhere else

I went it to try a malt and ordered a small chocolate malt. I was greeted, and the gal that made my shake was friendly. The chocolate malt was ok. I will come back and try a sandwich or one of the desserts in the dessert case as the chocolate chip scones look amazing. Best part of the Carthage Deli is the atmosphere and memorabilia. So many vintage signs and pictures that you feel like you are in the 50's/60's. I recommend giving the Carthage Deli a try.

Great place. Very good coffee and ice cream. Great decor and very friendly staff. Large portions and good quality. We had a cappuccino shake that was divine. Only improvement would be wifi for patrons and a sign on US66 for us travelers.

Tuna salad is awful I mean it tastes like it was tuna and mayonnaise it was a way high priced place it was so darn hot I couldn't believe it and the prices were outrageous. I've been in deli's before I've worked in deli's before and I wouldn't classifiy that as a deli It's nothing more than a sandwich making shop I was just shocked My mother was wondering about it So that's just oh it's so good I thought okay I'll give her a try Surprise it wasn't she didn't like her as either I don't know it's just the Carthage sandwich flip shop In my advice just walk on by I'm not trying to remove everything gross I mean it was just I couldn't believe there's no salads there's no jack man I thought maybe from some coleslaw some fruit nothing but potato chips and God awful tune a minute sandwich with a little bit of onions and way too much on your sexually anyway just keep walking man there's funny but you don't go to square Sorry that bad that's the truth I wouldn't suggest it to I mean are you at the Georgia services chips Who the hell wants chips You going to jelly that you know a real fluffy good sandwich It was with potato salad or macaroni salad and stuff like that They didn't have nothing but potato chips I couldn't believe it I was like I just looked at my bed like man okay I'll just try this I didn't like it I won't suggest it to anybody just keep walking I hate to be rude but it's true because they're jelly isn't horrible It's a standard flip shop only They have nothing I think my treatment selling service for 12 freaking dollars everybody whole freaking tuning for A little bit more than that. Again oh yes and we got one napping per person lol To me an experience restaurant to a person that does not qualify for a deli status I would just call it the Sanders flip shop because that's about all they do that flip your expensive sandwich and a bag of potato chips or whatever you want flavored by big deal So it's looking for a daily experience don't go there. We had an incredible lunch and experience at the dinner. I got the French dip and turkey pesto. They were both amazing. I also got a toasted marshmallow iced coffee and brownie fudge sundae. They were also deliscious. We’ll definitely be going back.

Always our favorite breakfast and coffee place when we are in Carthage. The loaded country biscuit and cinnamon toast are our favorite. Great sandwiches for lunch. The ice cream treats are incredible!

Place was great, my waiter was hilarious and very lively! He had a pocket full of jokes and shenanigans. I ordered the huevos rancheros with a side of carnitas (the side was huge) it was cooked to perfection, the right charing, super tender and juicy. Will go back when im in Carthage again thanks guys I appreciate it!!

We had a huge crowd of at least 30 people, including kids, after a family funeral. But, even with this many people, the service was amazing, and the orders came out correct as far as I know. The food and drinks are always spot on! Tell 'em Wade sent you.

I ate here with my daughter and her two girls, aged 2 and 4. The server was patient with the small girls (thank you). All of our food was good. Mainstream fare. Enchiladas, tacos, and so on. The unexpected highlight of our meal was the awesome guacamole. Perhaps the best guac. I have eaten and I came from the North Mexican state of Texas. The table service was great even though we ordered no alcohol ( I am a reformed alcoholic). Prices were reasonable. Great food, good service, pleasant atmosphere, and fair prices = five stars.

Our first visit here. Our server was Martin Jr. He was excellent and fast and highly recommend. The food was great and fast and the guacamole was very good. The prices were reasonable. When back in Carthage we will visit this place again!

Me & my husband frequent this location about once a week. A majority of the time we get decent service and decent food. Most of the time it’s them forgetting to not include something on the plate, or sometimes the food won’t be good. Tonight I’m extremely disappointed, we choose this restaurant time and time again because we love their queso. They have raised their prices over the past year, and we continue to support. However, I will not support charging $9 for this queso and it literally being 2% cheese 98% water. So disappointed and will find somewhere else in town to go for awhile.

Love that they treat your children like family. Food is good too. Service is great.

If you like the taste of Soy this is the place for you!! Fried rice is literally white rice covered in soy, Lo mien is exactly the same taste, no additional flavors here! -portions are odd, the sesame chicken came in a big portion but had to barrow rice for the small portion Nothing about this place tastes like a Chinese restaurant Would NOT recommend, unless you just want to taste Soy.. then I’d just recommend buying soy to save money

I went there to go pick up an order, and the lady was very rude to me and she was trying to grab the food out of my hand, even though she handed it to me and it was already paid for and then she gave me a really disgusting look after I said That it was paid for be careful when you go here. Customer service is very poor. I will find out the name of the woman that was behind the counter, and I will re-edit this post.

Okay, so I ordered from them on DoorDash, got the Hunan chicken and Kung Pao chicken and paid $16. For that price, the amount of chicken was really low. This was our first time trying the place too. Not sure if dining in makes a difference, but I was pretty disappointed. The taste was okayish but definitely nothing special.

Everytime I order it's nothing less than amazing. There so nice and polite. And as always quick delivery times with friendly delivery drivers. Best chinese in joplin hands down.

I have been wanting Chinese for awhile now and decided to try this place. WOW, what a disappointment! First, an order of cashew chicken and crab rangoon cost $17.95. I did like how The chicken came separate from the sauce. Typically cashew chicken has green onions and cashews, this only had cashews. The chicken was like jerky, dried out, tough, not edible. The "crab" rangoon was a runny, nasty, cream cheese filled thing. No crab was found after dissecting two of them. Just a runny mess. Will certainly not be back here.

I have eaten at this Orient-Express a few times here and there never really had a complaint the order I received today absolutely disgusting. The rice is very pasty and gummy. The chicken is I don’t even know how to describe it. Some parts of the chicken are so dry that I can’t even chew, the sesame sauce seems a little overcooked? Crab Rangoons were at least somewhat ok A total disappointment and not normally how my food from there has been or I never would have wasted a $20

Physical contamination. Just bit into 2 small black rocks in my order of General. Immediately called restaurant. Had to repeatedly ask to speak to owner myself after the worker kept relaying information between the two of us. No solution other than me bringing the food back to them was offered. NO APOLOGY. They refused to send a delivery driver. They would not take my information over the phone when I told them I needed to make a dental appointment to check to see if a tooth had been chipped or cracked. Once back at the restaurant the owner says he found more rocks in the dried red pepper flakes. HE DIDN'T SEEM SURPRISED. Appears they are willing to use unsafe food suppliers in order to cut costs. The red pepper flakes are only there because they cut corners and eliminated the full chilis from their original recipe!

I love Taco Town. I usually get the taco salad, which is filled to the brim and delicious. The staff are always super friendly and they've never messed up my order. They've recently remodeled the building and it is nice and up to date. This is an iconic part of Carthage and will be here for many years to come.

Terrible taco salad. Mostly lettuce and chips which the salt from the chips got over everything. Also they don't offer chicken here? Almost walked out from that alone. Tried the beef version and it wasn't great. Spent $8 and I'm still hungry. Oh, and they didn't have tomatoes eiand they didn't have tomatoes either!!

I did not leave any stars. I do not believe they deserve any after my experience. The young bald kid was very rude. I will never will be back because of him specifically. He threw my drink at my and then I physically saw him tell the cooks something when they were making MY food. I did not trust it so I requested a refund.

I have driven by this place for years and only tried it recently. The outside of the restaurant might make one think that it's less than excellent, but that would be a wrong assumption. Inside you find a nice ambiance and very clean kitchen with friendly attentive employees. The food is just simply excellent. The bean dip is outrageously good. It has now become a staple in our meal rotations. I've had the taco burger, bean burrito, and combo burrito. They all are excellent. Don't let the impression from the outside fool you. You should give this place a try!

Chille sauce was sweet! If your chille isn't savory you should warn the customer! Nasty I ate it because I was hungry but I could have ordered something else! I ordered a water because of medical reasons not because I was being cheap! I got the smallest cup! I wouldn't be back!

There is oatmeal in the meat as filler when I ordered the taco pack. Not impressed as this used to be my favorite place to go!

This was by far the worst experience I have ever had at this store. The fish was like beef jerky. The smell alone was not good. My entire order was just as bad or worse. It is hard to find help in todays time. I am happy I was even served at all. My order took quite a long time to make so it should have been fresh. Please take time out to make sure your product is better for your customers.

Our visit was great! The service was excellent, more than just your usual fast food service, they chatted with us for a moment and were very friendly, everybody smiled. The food came out quickly and was delicious. I'm not a huge fan of the "new" hush-puppy, but there's nothing the people in this store can do about that. Overall, we rang the bell, twice!

Just went through the drive thru around 6:00 this evening. Worst meal I have ever had there! It was obvious the food had been setting under warming lights for hours. The fish was rubbery and the fries were extremely soggy. Their fish filets are obviously smaller and half the thickness as they once were. The coleslaw was still good though. I can understand that because ofshortages, portions decrease. But 9the quality was awful.

This LJS has always been a good store. Interactive people behind counter, ample portions, fresh, delicious food. They try hard to make their very old, outdated restrooms appear clean and tender to, but let's face it, the whole building is getting old. Go here. Wash your hands and eat some good, fresh seafood. 😋

The highlight of my visit is how the cashier went out of her way to find the best item combination I wanted at the best price. The food was hot and prepared in a timely fashion. The shrimp were large and the fish was thick, we enjoyed our meal.

Everytime I go there not during lunch or dinner time. The fish is gross. Either not all the fish was covered in batter or it just plain taste old. Not to mention it's 45 miles away from my home so I go to joplin every other week that's when I eat there. Might just have to start going to sonic next door next time.

I’ve always loved it here and never had an issue. Today though I placed an order over the phone, and I guess they didn’t realize I could hear the other workers in the back ground. They were complaining and then one of them yelled very loudly, GODDAMN, while I told her my order. My order was decent size but it wasn’t anything crazy at all. Not professional, and not to mention they are making sales off of this, and it’s there job. As someone who works in the food industry, I have to say I would be extremely upset with my employees if they behaved this way over an order.

The cashier that was working the drive thru window on 6/30/25 was the rudest person I have ever met. I waited in the window for 20 minutes to where I had to knock at the window. She answered the window and responded with, I am busy and am the only one here. How can I help you? It took her 2 seconds for her to take my money and gave me the food that I ordered. She needs to be fired because I will make sure that everyone that I run into will know not to order food there.

Food is hands down the best chinese food in my opinion. We literally drive over an hour away to eat here once a week. The food is always made fresh to order.Always nice and hot and I feel like they have the best lo mein i've ever had and their honey chicken is really good.I love there crab ragoons. I also bet there's a lot more that's good on their menu but these are our favorites so far. I recommend this place to everyone!!!

Got takeout from here- great flavors and so cheap!! Not sure if anywhere around can beat this place. I got crab Rangoon and egg rolls as a surprise.

I've catered party trays and usually grab lunch here. It's not out of the park, the best chinese food you'll ever eat but for what is worth and it's location, definitely not a bad place to grab a quick lunch or a party tray if needed.

I’ve never been less happy to be eating Chinese food. The beef lo mein was made with spaghetti noodles. Everything had about 30% the amount of flavor it should. If you’re looking for good authentic Chinese food, this is not the place. It’s edible, but it has the strange side effect of just making me sad.

I got beef and broccoli and most of the liquid was in the bag when I got it and worse part is that I burnt my leg bc the bag had a hole in it and the liquid poured out on leg when sitting down in car. No napkins, no forks or fortune cookie. Ate 1/4 of it and had to go and get some silvidene for my burnt leg at Walmart.

Have to say, I'm rather disappointed how my order went today. I eat here once every week or so and never have had much issues but along with a poor order I notice something I think is new. So, I got a couple of meals, smash burger and footlong coney. After getting to the window I found out the gal rang me up for a dbl cheeseburger instead of a coney. I ran with it since I was sick and didn't feel like dealing with the issue. Once I got home 5 minutes later I pulled out the smallest lil burger I've seen in a while along with mozzarella sticks that weren't melted and smelled as if they were cooked in bad oil. The smash burger looked boiled for some reason and after half of it and a couple mozzarella sticks I find myself blowing out my internals on the toilet. I spent 30$ on this meal, I suspect the burger size is a corporate issue but the sanitation is definitely a local issue right now. I don't think I'll be back to this location for a few months until whoever is dropping the ball there is rotated out. Suggestion: McDonald's has never given me an issue and Arby's has a good 4 for 10 sandwich deal so try either of them instead until Sonic can get their act together.

Ordered two hotdogs and both came literally inedible. They were hard to a point you couldn’t bite through them. Also got tator tots and they tasted like old gross oil. Spent $20 on an entire meal we were unable to eat. Do better.

Horrible serving. First I ordered my drinks and they said WHATTT whenever I asked for an OCEAN WATER. I thought they knew what an ocean water was but apparently not. So then I say it again, and then she said WHATTTTT again. And then I changed my mind and got a root beer instead. Then, my girlfriends CRANBERRY LIMADE, WHICH ID ASSUME THEY HAVE LESS ORDERS OF THAN OCEAN WATERS, COMES OUT WAY BEFORE MY ROOT BEER. But here's the worst part, THEY GAVE HER THE WRONG DRINK. wow. So then she comes out FINALLY with my root beer and her correct drink, and then she asks to take the other wrong drink, (which already has a straw in it by the way) so we gave it to her, and then she grabbed it and gave it back to us. What? But 2 stars for an extra drink

First off I drive through this Sonic every morning and get a lemonade. Always have great service. I went through there about 4:45 today and bought a bag of ice. On one of my visits they didn't offer an add on so the girl gave me a $2 coupon. When I went to pay for my ice I handed the young man the coupon and some change. He looked at me kinda funny. That's when the manager came to the window and said " Did you pull this coupon off of our menu" I said excuse me? She said these aren't coupons they go on our menus. I said well idk what to tell u that's what your employee gave me. Then she proceeds to ask me what was the employees name. Ok... so idk I was supposed to remember every drive thru persons name. So, basically she told me I took a $2 coupon off their menu!! They need to be careful on what they're accusing people of. I know it doesn't sound like a big deal but she was definitely in the wrong and very hateful. She didn't even care that she was rude. Sorry Sonic I don't need to steal your $2 coupon

I gave you one more try after several goofs in the past. But guys, come on. I ordered ranch for my jalapeño bites, got honey mustard. And my bites don't seem to be over done. So I am guess you cooked them in old oil. I know because I worked for KFC and when.oil got old it made chicken dark. You charge a bit for them.bites. maybe we should do better.

No one came on order mic after 5 minutes, so I pulled up to window…another 5 minute wait, even though 2 workers looked at me. 3rd worker then waited on me! My tater tots were cold and I was only Customer on the lot! Another car pulled up to order- no one took order so they pulled out and into stall and the left as no one answered them! Lots of laughing, giggling and talking going on! I’ve been a customer at this Sonic over 30 years…totally pathetic!!

Let me start off by saying, WOW!! Took my girlfriend out here for dinner, and it was fantastic! We both ordered the top sirloin, medium rare. It was cooked to PERFECTION!! BEST STEAK I'VE EVER HAD!! The chef, Bo, is an incredible chef. Everything we had was on point. If you have never been here before, I would recommend it. On top of the food being great, the wait staff is super friendly. Our waitress checked on us frequently, making sure we had everything we needed. The owner, Payam, even came out to greet us multiple times, ensuring everything was to our liking. Definitely a must-try! I should add, the prices are reasonable, and the portion sizes are good too. The steak we had was thick and juicy, just like it should be. Worth the drive out there to eat in such an exceptional restaurant! 10/10!

What a very pleasant surprise. Right here in our backyard, Kascade Steakhouse is a hidden gem. Tried the Mediterranean platter. Cabbage rolls and a gyro along with a Greek salad. Its located in the old Carthage Country Club and still very well preserved. Highly recommend trying and worth the short drive to Carthage, Mo if you live nearby.

I wish I would have taken pictures! This was our first time eating here and I wasn't sure what to expect. I was beyond impressed and I'm pretty particular about my dining experience. It was a Friday during lent and I am on a low carb diet so my expectations were pretty high and I was hungry. Our waitress was fantastic. The owner did a perfect job of table touching and making everyone feel welcome. I didn't feel pestered and yet didn't want for anything. Our food took longer than fast food to make, but it was OBVIOUS when it came out that was because the attention to detail was SUPERB. My husband had the beer battered catfish that was flaky delicious and HUGE. I had the Salmon that was cooked to perfection and was actually the advertised size of 8oz (if not more!). We both had asparagus and it was so yummy. If I had one suggestion it would be that they add a sugar free low carb dressing of some kind. I must say that I had the salad anyway with no dressing and while a few more tomatoes would have been nice the greens were SO fresh and tasty I gobbled them up without a care that there wasn't any dressing. More proof? The table next to us had a young boy that wanted them to keep bringing him more lettuce and sliced tomatoes for his buger! All of the staff were incredible and brought him at least 3 plates of 'extras'. It warmed my heart to see a child eating so healthy and the staff encouraging it. Plus the food MUST have been good, that little child weighed no more than 40lbs and ate his burger like an adult. Kids are picky so you KNOW that means it was good! Some may say the decor is dated, but I actually enjoyed it very much. Everyone is always spending loads of money to modernize, but I think playing up the decor to make it look older would not only be more cost effective I think it would be an excellent venue to dress up and go out to. I absolutely loved everything about this place and I plan to be back many more times.

We decided to try Kascade Steakhouse when we were staying in Carthage, Mo. The food was AMAZING! Three of us had the Peppered Flounder and one had the Beer Battered Catfish. We were all very pleased with our main entrees and our sides. For dessert we had a lemon bar....and my goodness, these bars were absolutely delicious! In addition to the wonderful food, the atmosphere and service was FANTASTIC! We will definitely be back!

The food was great, the service was good and the atmosphere was nice. Great place to go when you just want to relax and have a nice meal. The tables aren't close together so you don't feel crammed in like you do in most steak houses. There were three of us. One had a steak, one shrimp alfredo and the other chicken tenders. All three meals were very good.

One of the worst dining experiences my family has had in a very long time. Poorly cooked food across the board especially for the price. Management disagreed and without discussing with me, complained about us loud enough to our waitress that we could hear from another room. Never once did he come out and talk with us. Instead, he sent the waitress out. We won't be back and wouldn't suggest others to go under this manager.

We recently had a golf tournament dinner at Kascade so spent a lot of time there planning and getting organized. Our committee tried everything including pizza, appetizers, prime rib. Everything was delicious. The staff was so accommodating and handled 150+ guests with ease and a Mexican Style Buffet that was fantastic. We will definitely use their venue and services in the future and our family plans to put it on our regular list of places to eat. Well worth the short drive from Carl Junction.

Nothing but immature kids running this place in the evening. Waited 20 minutes for cold stale food. There was no one in the drive thru or inside & 4 people working. I could hear them talking & laughing the whole time I waited for my food. No reason for it to have taken that long. I checked my food before leaving & I was upset because it was not fresh at all after waiting that long. I thought well whatever I don’t want to wait even longer so I just went home. When getting home to eat my burger was hard & stale & cold. Fries & nuggets were stale & cold. I tried going up there & getting a refund & explained they never gave me my receipt. The manager told me there was nothing he could do. I asked if he could look up my receipt with the time I was there or by my card & he told me no. I also know the kid at the register could recognize me & could’ve just said yes she was here just 30 minutes ago. The manager then proceeded to laugh in my face with the other kids that work there. How miserable do you have to be to treat someone like that. Especially to someone who had not ate all day & received horrible food & service. Not to mention, the car outside that was honking & trying to get the attention of the kids inside working. Immature. Disrespectful. Higher than a kite kids working. Just rude & gross.

Food was great but this is what I got for fries. My husband’s was full but not the second one.

On the night of 10-5-25, I went through their drive through. I pulled up to the speaker and sat there for 5 min with no answer from the speaker. Workers. I pulled around to the window and there was no one in there. I decided to come back about 15 min later to experience the same thing except the kid I'm the drive through told me I had to go back around to the speaker. I then sat there for another 5 min waiting for an answer. All I ordered was a small frosty. It took them 10 min to make that. The kid and the crew inside looked very very high. And then after I was handed my frosty, I had to get the attention of them again because the crew member didn't give me back my card. Very terrible service. No place should have workers inside of it working while clearly high.

The food was fresh that I ordered for breakfast I have no complaints about the service the service was great. The reason why I gave them four stars instead of five was because they need to update their dining room area it is felt dirty to me!

I ordered 3 breakfast sandwiches in the drive thru, 2 without cheese, and all 3 were not correct despite the screen showing my correct order. 1 was the wrong sandwich, and the other 2 both had cheese, but one was missing the egg, and the other was missing the meat. The lady at the window just stared creepily at me and only spoke to tell me how much I owed. I went back a few days later for breakfast, and my sandwich was correct but was barely on the biscuit and was very messy to eat. A different girl at the window acted put out that she had to be there, handed me my card back and then my food, with the only word of, "here".

The manager is a jerk to the employees. Listening to him micromanage, be condescending and sarcastic to the young girls working (who were very friendly and doing a great job) was upsetting. The food was good and the cashier was sweet.

I for see this Wendy's going out of business soon. I'm a life long fan of Wendy's! Every time I decide to eat there the burgers and bacon are ALWAYS over cooked the fries and nuggets are ALWAYS cold. I say about half the time I have to take my meal back up there because they made it wrong. The restaurant it's self is so old and out dated, it stinks. If you look around back in the kitchen it will scare you. The employee will lock the door before closing hour. They they also won't answer the drive at night either, because the employees are busy smoking their weed vapes in the bathrooms. I give this store no stars on anything! I won't dine in with store it gross. This store is in a small town and all item could and should be cooked to order. Nothing should be sitting in this store there is not enough business at any day or time. Your employees are being lazy. I had to pit a star or I couldn't post this. I give them 0 stars.

We enjoy the pizza. The crust has a nice flavor and they always make our pizzas the way we order them. If you want to eat in the restaurant, there isn't much room for dine-in.

I placed a carry out order online, five days (Monday) before my Mother's memorial service, at the Domino's location in Carthage, Missouri. She had requested a happy party and not a mournful funeral before she died. I set the pick up time for 4pm on October 5th. I called in a couple days later and asked if I could add another pizza to the order and change the pick up time to 3:30pm. I was told it would not be a problem. I called a little after 3pm on the day of her service to check on the pizzas. I was told 'they are just coming out of the oven.' My husband went to pick them up and they had not started making them. My husband did not leave until 3:50pm. He was told the order did not show up on their screen. This made the pizzas and my husband late to my Mother's memorial service. I don't believe anyone did this on purpose but I would like to help so this does not happen to anyone else. Thank you

I’m celebrating 3 years sober today and being lazy so ordered pizza for dinner and my delivery driver was so excited to hear about my recovery. Thanks for having such caring people! She was so sweet.

First off always liked this this place but this sunday i orderd 5 pies there running there 9.99 special any toppings any size max 7 per pie it looked like they skimp on every topping even when aksked for extra just a waste of my almost 70.00 i should have ate some othe place wont be eating pizza here when there is some freaky special!! lesson learned

We eat here at least 2 times a week. Every order is always correct and trays awesome!!! The crew is the best as well!!!

New have liked domino's, the crust is like cardboard. I Got excited about this new New Yorker style pizza. It is nowhere close to NY thin crust pie!! the worker burnt my first pie so he cooked another and added some cinnamon twist for free. Those were not bad.

Paid online driver showed up with pizza and told us it was not paid. Took the driver 10 minutes to get someone at the store to answer. Driver was told that the order was paid for. Still the driver acted like we were lying about it. Driver left spinning gravel out if my driveway.

At what point do you say I just do not care, obviously that is something the staff on 6/21/23 at 9:00pm are at. Do they just want to ruin someone’s evening who tips well and almost never complains. Yet here we are with a crust that looks like it has been sitting out for a year and yet I’m expected to pay $36 dollars with tip and $4 delivery fee and take this trash like I am supposed to be happy that they were nice enough to make it for me. I’m not here trying to cause trouble I just want some accountability for this awful service.

Accidentally ordered from the domino's across the street. Needless to say I called and canceled my order from the pizza hut lobby. Same order same pizzas same chesse sticks $15 cheaper. Thanks again guys. Can't wait for the dinning room to be complete

Waited over an hour and this is 2nd time our pizza has came dry and almost no sauce. The moisture it has is grease from the pepperoni. Our specialty pizza fared a bit better this time but it was my kids asking for pizza and theirs was the one ruined. Delivery drivers are always fast and very friendly at least.

Had to wait to be seated, staff member said she needed to clean a table for us , there were 3 tables occupied with customers when i walked in. Salad bar was either empty or had gross veggies in the container. In stead of verity 1st round out of the oven was all thick crust..25 min later all thin crust. Had to track down some one for water refill for my pregnant daughter. Cashier had her back to me, she was looking at the kitchen and not the dinning room.

Tottally whitnessed a pizza hut employee in cathage making pizza with the bare hands (no gloves) and then touching there nose etc super un sanitary and gross will never order or eat pizza from this store ever

$60 bucks for a pizza and three orders of chicken wings... was trying to give them some business & hubs was wanting the stuffed crust pizza. Good- 1) Food was hot when it was delivered. 2) Delivery driver was super friendly. 3) Wait wasn't too long at 30 minutes. 4) Everything smelled good. Not good- 1) Lemon pepper wings were overly seasoned. 2) Pizza was chewy and flavorless. 3) Spicy garlic wings were in a soup of sauce and extremely messy to eat. We learned our lesson & won't be doing that again.

Order pasta and wings online. I gave them the address added OFFICE and they did not bring silverware. Called and they said we can bring you silverware. Who wants cold food pasta and wings. No napkins either. Come on it is common sense when you order food at your office you need silverware and napkins. Am I suppose to eat pasta with my fingers. Seriously!!!!!!!! The cheese sticks was so hard my daughter broke her tooth. You deserve no stars. Horrible service and food. Now I am going to pay a dang dentist bill. Thanks pizza hut. The pasta was VERY DRY and thr vegetables we hard. When the delivery driver came back, she flopped the food on my desk and walked out. Customer service and food quality has gone down the drain. Remember pizza hut if it wasn't for your customers you would not have a job. Ship up or ship out.

Well ordered a specialty burrito supposedly had double the chicken. Not cheap but was barely enough food to feed a mouse. Contained about a teaspoon of chicken. For almost $6 I would go elsewhere. Sadly most of their other burritos are rice, cheese sauce and a tiny bit of meat in a sauce.

So if anyone gets the new tacobell chalupa, just know they come with 2 o three pieces of steak. Now with this economy its just highway robbery. I was already home when I discovered that each chalupa had 2 pieces of meat in one and 3 in the other. Going back to tacobell just to be told that's how they come and I could get a refund , which is got , would have been nice if I was offered a coupon or a comp meal but I wasn't, so just know its not a mistake, they come with 2 pieces maybe pieces of meat. Wish I could post pictures of my food just so everyone can see the meat pieces are less than a inch in length and paper thin. UPDATE pictures posted for reference.

Got about halfway through my taco and got a fat blob of sour cream. This is not a supreme taco and I absolutely hate sour cream. Maybe they need to learn how to get an order right. They only put it on one side so they probably messed up and didn’t care so went with it.

I went here to eat since i was at the Marian Day celebration and honestly, this is by far the best Taco Bell i have been to. Food came out fresh and quick. Me and my friends had a great time. I will come back again

Every single time I have come here for the last 4 months my food has needed remade, whether it be because of a missing addition or a crunchy chalupa or something else. The service is consistently slow and the staff are lackadaisical in correcting errors or what feel like deliberate sabotage to any ordered items

I love the food, but service is lousy. I want to be greeted by a human being, not a kiosk. I didn't get my drink until the food was ready. The food was slow getting out to me. Tell me why I should go back, if I can't receive a greeting from the staff?

My wife went through the drive through to pick up an order and the in the middle of my wife asking a question to the drive through lady she slams the window shut. The workers here are the absolute rudest people on the planet and don’t care who knows it. Will never be going back again.

I have ordered online for almost a year from this place. I have NEVER needed a code to get my pizza!! I told the boy at the counter that I have my ID that says my name on it. He informed me that I had to have the code. So I had to drive all the way across town to get the code off my phone. By the time a came back the pizza was extremely hard. We come to this place about 3 to 4 times a week, but we will NOT be back!!!! 😠

With the new management in place the food quality has improved soooo much!! Crazy puffs where VERY overdone. We stopped going to Little Caesars a while back because the food quality was not up to par. We have eaten here a few times recently but today was disappointing.

I've been coming here for years and I've always liked their meals, specially the breakfast options. But I've noticed that since a year ago, not sure if they changed cooks or what but the food now tastes commercially made, also, it tastes like Mexican cuisine, don't get me wrong, I love me a Mexican cuisine but if I come to a Guatemalan restaurant, I expect that type of food, specially if I've already tried it in the past; also, i ordered a plate and it was missing items, as in they no longer offered that plate with those items, a menu update would need to be done. The waitress/host/cashier, was very nice. Now, the selection of odds and ends its great, their bread section is not good for my diet. Great selection of bread. Will definitely come back but will be ordering something different.

Delicious pupusas and tacos. Flavor is fresh and the portions are a good size to satisfy all hunger levels. Great to try black beans vs pinto beans. Also there is a grocery store with authentic Guatemalan and El Salvador items. Fun!

When I asked about gluten free options I was handed a card with a list of gluten free options which included apples potatoes chips, lettuce and a handful of other items. The man behind the counter offered a salad but only if I take out the chicken because it's processed meat. But I could have turkey which truth be know it too is probably processed lunch meat. Then I asked about the dressings and he stomped off to go check. We then decided to leave because of his attitude. Hey Mr. I didn't choose this allergy it picked me. I will not apologize to you or anyone else for making better choices for myself.

Tropical smoothie Café is amazing! Every drink I’ve ever gotten is SO refreshing! Not to mention, the employees are always so upbeat and positive. Everyone is greeted with a smile! I mobile order about once a week for lunch during work. I have always loved Tropical Smoothie, because of the real ingredients and customization options. The Carthage location is great. Always friendly, fast, and my order has never been wrong. I had to write a review this time because when I got my mobile order (a Dragonfruit smoothie) an employee had drawn this awesome dragon on my cup. It’s such a small thing but it really made my day! Thank you for brightening my work day.

If you read this, don't take it the wrong way. I never leave bad reviews, I just had to with this. I haven't had BK in years, and with their prices of late didn't think I ever would again. However they purchased the rights to claim "How to train your Dragon". My daughter is a huge fan, and was impressed by the movie so almost had to try the burger with my family of 4. Anyway, over $100 later (1 meal = $20) was missing alot of our order (ice cream, drinks, no sauces) the food was standard mediocre fast food with the price equivalence of a small sit down restaurant steak. I was hoping for better based off the prices. Could be just the Carthage location, but I will not go back.

Must edit this review 4 years ago they received 5 stars from me. In that time they went so far downhill they went below ground. On this most recent visit at 4:50 pm while there were 5 people standing around in the parking lot the place was dead I should have taken that as a sign. Upon entering we ordered 2 whopper meals one with cheese one with no onion. We could see the fries and onion rings were already sitting under the heat lamp for how long would be anyone's guess. The employee handed us our cups went to the machine to fill them only to find out they were out of 90% of products. Employee said yeah that machines been out for awhile and that she could fill our cups behind the counter. While we are waiting for our order another customer entered placed her order was handed a cup and got the same results when she attempted to fill her cup. Finally we receive our order we go to our table picking the cleanest out of the dirty ones. Might mention I did notice the kitchen floor was covered in various kinds of food. Upon opening the wrappers on our whoppers both have onions and neither have cheese we return to the counter where we are offered replacement whoppers meanwhile the only other customer inside returns to the counter as her sandwich is also incorrect. Fries and onion rings still sitting under the heat lamp. As we all return to our tables we conversed with the other customer how poorly this Burger King was and informed her how long those fries and onion rings had been sitting. They were there when we entered and we had been there at least 30 minutes at this point. One of the employees overheard and brought everyone new fries which is great except I had ordered onion rings I didn't say anything because by this time I had opened the second whopper I had been given to find a gray looking piece of meat I wasn't going to eat any of it so no point in asking for new onion rings.I don't know what happened at this burger King but I would highly recommend The health department check this establishment out .Food is sitting around too long and given to customers at room temperature. I will be making a report to the health department meanwhile eat here at your own risk. Pics are of the first whopper out looks like someone sat on it but that's how it was given to me with no cheese and squished.

I don't like to leave bad reviews and I rarely get Burger King, but this is going to be a bad review. My apologies. I had my order delivered. None of the sauces were included in my order, an ice cream was forgotten, and a soda was forgotten. I know the employees don't make the prices, but for the $100 I paid I would expect all of my order to be present. Thank you

The manager Jamie really seems like she has no clue what is going on, or she just doesn’t care about how the state of her store can affect the appeal to customers. I could see bags of buns left opened behind the counter with clear mold growing on them. Food under the fryer and all over the floors 🤢 gross. This has got to be the nastiest Burger King I’ve ever been inside. The walls are black behind counter and in the lobby the tables and counters are sticky, The bathroom was filthy and reeked, there are spilled drinks and trash on the tables, chairs and floor, the parking lot has cigarette butts and trash all over it. the wait times were ridiculous. I couldn’t even eat the food once it was finally handed to me because the place is just disgusting, and my bun felt crusty. I’m truly surprised this place hasn’t been shut down by health inspectors. Then to top it off you have a manager who seems to want to bark orders and complain at everyone instead of what I would say is do her job.

Update: while they have updated the building, the staff clearly does not want to be there. I got my own drink cups from behind the counter, they had no idea what to do with a mobile order, and they ignored people at the counter wanting to place an order. Old gross dirty building with sticky surfaces, a leaking roof, and broken tables taped off. This building really needs to be torn down and rebuilt. It's disgusting. Also, there is no changing table in the men's room.

Why is this place still open? There was NO ONE in line before me, after me, just me and I get told to pull foward? I go through and if I'm not the only one or even if i am the only one, I get pulled forward. And the food is never fresh?? How?? This place just needs shut down.

I ordered an original chicken sandwich. It was perfect the classic unforgettable flavor. They must have a specific protocol they stick to for their food to be so damn smackn everytime I go to the Carthage Burger King on Central Ave. The service was spectacular also. Five Stars all around!!

You're missing out if you do not try this place. Great atmosphere, outstanding service. The food is some of the best. I recommend the fried green beans try them without the sauce they are great either way. The fried mac n cheese bits make sure to order two they are the beat. Everything fried does Not taste greasy. All the other appetizers are great as well. The battered catfish can not be beat. The blacked catfish is good as well. The new philli cheese steak sandwich is amazing. The shrimp étouffée is to die for. You will love this place, and they have karaoke a few nights a week. Lastly, nothing is over $15.00 you can not beat that.

We came here on 4th of July on a whim since many other places were closed. We were pleasantly surprised by the outstanding food, amazing drinks, and great service! They have a kids menu available upon request and the chicken nuggets on that menu are something I could eat all day! Several in our party had the fish which was impeccable with flavor and a great crust! Definitely check this place out!

This is such an amazing boutique BAR! Very pleasing to the eye and smells lovely! Seating is one of the coolest parts of this bar! The owner is precious 💕 Chips and queso…YUM! They have homemade soup too 😋 The owners are originally from Louisiana and the menu gives that aura (GUMBO & BOUDIN BALLS!) The pool tables are still here, as well as numerous dart boards…We will definitely be back ❣️

The service was absolutely amazing. Great friendly atmosphere. The food was delicious. We ordered two pizzas and garlic knots as well as a skillet cookie. Everything came out in a very timely manner. The waitress kept our drinks full and they kept checking to see if we needed anything. We were given a box for leftovers. It was a wonderful experience with extremely tasty food.

This place is awesome. We ordered the 'Uskana Special' which is kind of a build your own pizza. All of the ingredients were top notch, and my wife and I both loved the pizza crust. Light, crispy, not greasy at all. We also ordered the calamari, which was amazing. Great breading, and very tasty. Overall, I highly recommend giving this place a shot.

Tacos are fantastic. The table service needs improving or it would be five stars. But to end on high note. I don't like guacamole at all. But, here, love it. This is the closest taco I've had that compare to any I've had in southern Texas.

Use to love this place until I spent 65 dollars using card and they put in an extra 10 for a tip. Definitely ask for an itemized receipt here folks. Or take your business to a trusted one. The amount of food for price is weak also.

Best Mexican around this area including Springfield. I grew in Southern California eating tons of Mexican this is spot. The tortas are amazing. The verde sauce is excellent. I’m craving it now. Wish they would open one in Springfield, so I don’t have to drive an hour to go there. Just try it

I grew up 10min from Mexico and the torta's at Median's are excellent, mucho bueno if you will. Every time I'm in carthage I try to go here. Best Mexican in southern Missouri better than the shops in Springfield.

Great place to eat if you like authentic Mexican food, I've never had an issue here and the food is always 10/10. I wouldn't recommend groups of more than 10 people because their restaurant is pretty small.

This is the best place to eat in Carthage, hands down. Tacos are solid, carne asada is perfect, and their tortas are like the best thing I've eaten in this state so far.

Our sliders were hard as a rock. Not toasted. We were asked to hand the sandwich maker the used baskets off the trash bin and he put our food on them without washing them first. The man rushed us through the order despite us being the only people in the restaurant ordering. Nothing about this visit was at all pleasant.

Ordered a pizza and they gave me one from walmart!!! They proceded to act normal and not say anything as they unwrapped a frozen pizza already with cheese and sauce on it then they put pepperoni and cheese on top of that then they skipped the veggie part so no veggies for me!!! The pizza taste like a crappy 1 dollar pizza coated in extra cheese! I probably won't poop for a week and my food was gross, thanks subway!!!!

I been buying coffe every single morning and all those times they taste bad , I even try ordering a medium one to see if maybe it would taste better? But they seem to not even make a caramel Ice coffee!!

So we're encouraged and expected to put in our own order at the self service kiosk, but we're no longer allowed to fill our own cups at the self service drink station. Instead, we must wait to be noticed by an employee, and ask to get a refill from them. Not only is the drink station gone, but so it's the ketchup, salt, napkins, there is nothing that can't be gotten with asking for it now.

Ordered quarter pounder with cheese deluxe, and the patty was overcooked and old and did not get all of the ingredients on my burger. Left lettuce and ketchup, and the tomatoes were about the size of a quarter Worst burger ever, especially for the price.

Terrible. There is always something wrong with this specific McDonald’s. Every time we’ve ordered, they’ve either never put patties in our burgers, forget drinks, or completely forget about two meals! Terrible service! Would not recommend going to this McDonalds. If you want good service, go to the one near Lowe’s that’s connected with the Pete’s!

I wish i could give this location 0 stars. we ordered a pizza, got there a little after our pickup time and our pizza was sitting on the prep table not even docked or sauced. The worker was on the phone, and he didn’t change his gloves 1 time while we were there after getting off the phone, making our pizza, and starting another order. Being a kitchen manager at a different gas station, i was disgusted, appalled, and horrified. I would definitely not recommend ordering anything from this kitchen.

Google says they open at 4am. I showed up at 4:45am and still not open. If your not gonna open at 4am you should change it in Google before people drive all the way there.

The 2nd assistant was rude and unfriendly from the moment I entered. He lacked basic customer service skills. The lobby was filthy. Went in for cigarettes and he didn't card me. He grabbed the wrong kind, which I pointed out. He then grabbed the correct ones. Still didn't ask for ID. I could tell he was frustrated. He saw my ID in my hand and asked to see it. I just turned 40 a couple of days ago. He studied my ID and then handed it back to me, said it was expired, and turned to put the cigarettes back. I'm 40 and my ID literally just expired. He did that to be spiteful. I will not be returning.

I really like Casey's, liquid creamer for coffee, pizza is good, their chocolate chocolate chip muffins are awesome! Donuts are pretty good too. I like the new coffee selection with fresh ground coffee. Bathrooms are always clean. Loyalty points system is ok, would like to see if better.

The one we went to in the middle of town, the aisle seemed to be a bit congested and crowded. Everything's fine, it just seems a little claustrophobic. Sometimes, trying to appeal to everybody can be the bit of a loss in itself.

Well this is an update. Went to the store and again pattie the cashier was so rude. The store was in great shape but her customer service is worse then before. The worst part about it is that the management just allows it. Came in for my usual drinks and smokes and pattie greeted everyone but me. Then again I go to buy tobacco and again she carded me and only me. Then she smiled. She obviously knew that I had wrote a bad review for this before. The management seems to think its a joke as well. I wish that maybe something could be done. I really enjoy coming to this store for convienence. Its beginning to not be so convenient.

The food wasn't a bad price but didn't taste good at all. I went with a group of four. Half the food was burnt and what wasn't burnt, tasted awful. The guy was also very rude. He acted like we were a total inconvenience. Every time one of us asked a question he would roll his eyes and act like we're stupid. We've never been to this town before let alone this food truck.

This was the best adobada taco I have had in years! So much flavor and the homemade corn tortillas were lovely - not like the cardboard you get at some places.

Was a first time visitor. The guy was very rude and unfriendly while taking my order. Treated the next two customers poorly as well. Food was ok. Nothing wrong with it. Decent flavor but there are places with as good or better food with friendlier employee's so i will take my business to somewhere else.

The food was extremely fresh. And extremely reasonably priced. The tortillas are even homemade. There's a man cooking on a grill outside while the woman prepares the food inside. The truck is located in the parking lot of Forest Park church. I'm assuming they're church goers. So eating here is a good way to support a local Christian family. Just be sure to bring cash for tip. You can pay with card but there was no option to leave tip. I had to find change in my car.

Delicious tacos, great flavor, value and quantity are awesome for a local establishment. They have a delicious creamy, fresh colada mix. Street corn was amazing! Owner treated us with a smile, very friendly guy, I have high hopes for this business. Definitely have been needing a place around here like this for awhile. PLENTY of seating, some arcade games, great liquor and beer selection including Shiner Bock. Have more liquor options than Hoppers (not the same beer selection as I didn’t see any tap options) but if you’re looking for a relaxed atmosphere with good eats before going out or a nice local place to hang out this is it!

This store is pretty weird, but the cashiers are pretty friendly. They say they only add 10% on top of their cost for each product. If that’s the case then they really need a negotiator for their wholesale purchases. The best thing is their selection of cheeses, which is impressive, good quality and much more selection than walmart. Other than that it kind of sucks.

I had a deeply unsettling experience at this store that left me feeling completely unsafe. A man followed me through the aisles, yelling at me, and despite this being incredibly obvious, none of the staff intervened or even acknowledged the situation. I was left to navigate this harassment on my own while employees stood by and did nothing. Safety of customers should be of upmost importance to employees , and it’s unacceptable for a store to ignore such behavior. I won’t be returning and i will be informing any other young females of this behavior , and I hope management takes serious steps to ensure no one else has to go through this.

This place seems to be going downhill. Used to fill my 5 gallon jugs of water here, but now it tastes off, like chlorine water. I called ahead to see if they had a brand of sausage, which they said they did. Turns out they did not after driving there. So I bought a different brand than I planned on. When I went to cook it that night, it had already gone bad and had a horrible smell. Just not a good place to shop.

Dirty parking lot, derelicts buy tiny single serve bottles of liquor there (a specialty at King Cash) and throw empties everywhere, iffy neighborhood to begin with. Employees mostly seem angry and floor help will not talk to or greet customers. Many empty shelves especially bread. Produce is sometimes not appealing. "Manager special" meats are downright dangerous since old, discolored meat is sometimes coated with red/brown spices to hide condition then slightly reduced in price as "special". 2/17/25 No shopping carts inside. Approached a manager who was rude and said they were busy and ALL carts were inside store with customers (not). She finally begrudgingly stomped outside to get some and found a couple dozen. Eggs were $9 a dozen PLUS %10 at cash register!?! Employees often seem like they hate working there which for an "employee-owned" store is really bad.

Great place to pop in and grab a few things. Prices are comparable to most grocery stores. They have a pretty good deli and a decent meat department. I don't know if I would do all my shopping there, but you could get quite a few things for a pretty good price. The checkout is a different story. It is either not busy and you can go right thru or it's crazy busy and you will be waiting for a while. Over all I like it.

Ridiculous to pay 10% more you prices are not that much better than other stores so the 10% is crazy, no need to store with you anymore….👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽

The person taking my order got it wrong and charged me for the wrong food and gave the wrong stuff I got home and noticed it so I went back and they said they couldn't do anything for me unless I brought the food back even though they would just throw it away. I wanted a refund for the gas I wasted and they said they don't do refunds just correcting the order. I'm not going do waste 3 trips back and forth just because some kid can't hit the right button. Never coming back!

I've been purchasing 3 10 Tuesday special each week and the chicken is half cooked. I brought this to the attention of the manager and said that's how it comes out Chicken and staff are terrible lost the business of 10 elderly customers.

I am sure it was a lot better fresh but by the time I got home it was ok. We live out in the country so eating takeout fresh is impossible. A lot of chicken places taste bland, but KFC has flavor.

This is the worse experience I had from kfc I ordered ahead so I’m not have to wait and when I went there they told me they working on it and I have to wait in parking lot , I wait 30 min and still no news and I was have to go inside and ask about my order , I never had a drive through experience like this, I’m sorry kfc but I’m no longer willing to percuse anything

Absolutely terrible experience at this KFC location in Carthage. I placed an order and waited over 20 minutes in the drive-thru. When I finally went inside to check what was going on, I found out they hadn’t even started on my food yet. The worst part? I was the only customer there. No line, no rush—just pure disorganization or indifference. If they can’t handle one order in 20+ minutes, I’m not sure how they stay in business. Won’t be coming back!!!

Probably the worst place to go get food in town. Youl notice the drive thru is always empty that's bc the service is truly horrible and the food sucks

Almost all the tables where dirty the food wasn’t that great the workers practically will ignore you they hold out in the back and you have to practically yell at them to get service one of the worst kfcs I been to and the sodas weren’t even carbonated

I called to speak to the manager about the breadsticks. The order of ten? They asked what my problem was and that this is a full order of breadsticks. Don’t worry. I don’t have a problem. I can count and don’t need nasty, greasy crap. The manager should also rethink his job. I know you’re probably 17 but get it together.

Tried to use a coupon but they said it was a joplin coupon. I thought a papa John's coupon was good at any of their places. It came in my mailbox. I left with nothing and won't be back !

Very good pizza been a long time since I had, almost 5 years ago. Place was very clean and pizza was on time and very hot.

Best pizza place in the industry!! The management team over achieves on a daily basis, their customer service is impeccable, and the food is always fast fresh and hot

Best Papa Johns I’ve ever been to, and I’m fat so I’ve been to numerous ones obviously. Food always tastes great, always ready when the app says it will be, and the staff is always pleasant and seemingly in a good mood, which in 2023 is pretty impressive.

I ordered 3 pizzas, veggie papa bowl, and a cookie on the Papa John's website. The veggie papa bowl I ordered with no cheese. When they delivered it the bowl had a ton of cheese on it so I called and told them that it had cheese. I was told that not only did I have to select no cheese I have to write no cheese in the instructions. I got a lecture from the employee over the phone and when they delivered the new one they felt the need to give a lecture to my guest that answered the door. The pizza wasn't that good. The service was horrible. Will not be ordering anything from the Webb City MO restaurant again.

The manager at this establisment, Kyle or Carl?, was one of the kindest workers I have ever had the pleasure of ordering food from. His effortless customer service ensured that I will be returning to this Papa Johns for all my pizza needs. Watching him manage his team was inspiring. He did upsell us on the breadsticks, which were driping, swiming, and positively drowning in delicious garlic butter. Gracefully gliding around the kitchen I saw him fulfill many orders at once, practically running the place himself. The pizza was bar none some of the finest I have ever had from a Papa Johns. My sincere compliments to the chef, Carl?

Everytime I eat here I'm in love all over again the two managers in the kitchen jada and Kandi are fantastic and funny to boot. Pizza is on point and even get a show with dough getting thrown in the air. Love this location.

They make a really good pizza. I also like their sub wraps and chicken salad sandwich.

Do not use cash to pay for anything here unless you want the cashier to keep your change. They are rude pushy and the fountain never works properly

12/23/2023 The cook that was working tonight, "young gentleman", made the best pizza that we've gotten from there in a very long time! Was not soggy or burnt. Had very good flavor and the toppings were evenly spread. Excellent!

They called police and kicked me off their property for no reason and without asking me to leave first. Said they would press charges if I came back! All I did was park there two nights, after filling up with gas at their station. I am quiet, keep to myself and clean. I was always polite and the employees were too before even telling me I could park to the side the night before. Never been treated so unfairly before anywhere!

Update from my really poor review before. Since I had a really bad experience with the midnight behind the counter help a couple of weeks ago I had asked management for help in this matter. I don't know if management spoke with this woman or if she is in better mind now but service is completely different. Do much more nice and willing to be kind a considerate and helpful. Thanks Casey's for stepping it up. This is my favorite store.

The Pie Safe’s party room was the perfect setting for our daughter’s first baby shower. The food was so delicious and the tea party style table settings were elegant. Holly was so easy to work with and she went out of her way to make our day so memorable. I highly recommend The Pie Safe for your next small gathering.

The food is great. The chicken pot pie was delicious! The sandwiches and quiche were very good! We have tried 6 different pies. They are great!

5 stars...I'd give 10 if I could. This is our 3rd visit and won't be our last. Be advised, their popular items run out so if you have something specific in mind, such as Chicken Pot Pie, make haste and enjoy. Did I mention the Chicken Pot Pie? Haha Absolutely amazing in every possible way. Wife enjoyed their Tomato Pie...delicious. We tried the Ginger Honey Peach tea...so good we bought a tin for home. This place is well worth the trip to Carthage. Beautiful setting, excellent food cooked to perfection and friendly service.

We just paid for the “Tea party” at $35 a person. It was very disappointing. The amount of food and tea you get for the price was not impressive to say the least. Also, the service was not great at all. I asked for honey with my tea (normal request for tea) and she acted put out. I then asked if I could have some water. She pointed us to the back of the restaurant to tell us where to get it for ourselves. I understand if that is customary for the regular dining experience, but the point to paying the high price for “tea” was to have it feel special. There were plastic cups for water. There were only 2 herbal tea options and you were allowed 1 choice. My friends Tea bag fell apart in the water, so we asked for a strainer to get stuff out or a new cup. She again acted as though we were asking for a free meal or something. I think this has the potential to be fantastic but most certainly left us all wanting. I have gone to Tea several times and can say this was by far the most mediocre experience. The picture attached is what you get for two people. $70 for that.

Beautiful decor, loose leaf teas, and nice sandwiches. I had the chicken salad on toasted croissant and my husband had the roast beef sandwich. I also had a hot tea and we got a cute little apple pie to go. We were just passing through, but I wish I lived closer, so I could go back!

The absolute BEST food around. The mini pies are works of art. Chocolate cream and cherry are the best! The rustic chicken noodles are delicious as well, and the chicken pot pie is a classic. Everything is fresh and homemade. Definitely a good place to bring your mom, sister, or grandma!

Everything we tried was delicious. Would definitely recommend this place. The pecan pie was my favorite.
