Very good value for money. The hotel has a nice, modern design and the rooms are very cozy and clean. The view on the Eiffel Tower is spectacular. The only thing that wasn’t good was the organisation of the breakfast. A lot of things were already empty at 8am and it took the staff very long to refill them. Also there were a lot of tables with dirty dishes that weren’t cleaned up for quite a long time even though there was plenty of staff running around.

We stayed here for one night on a short city trip to Paris. I had stayed here before and enjoyed the experience. Great views of the city from the rooftop bar and restaurant. Cool and relaxed atmosphere, quiet. Located not too far from the metro lines.

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was convenient for exploring the city. Great hotel, room was clean and medium size. We had a partial view to the tower. There is an amazing view from the restaurant eating there is a must. It was 9 minutes walking from the metro station. I found it a great spot for my first Paris visit, as I could take the train to Versailles, metro to downtown and train to Disney. There is a grocery store and some restaurants minutes away walking.

Rooms are small but comfortable. Nice set in shower very easy to use. Staff not too friendly. The breakfast host is very rude blonde!

The reason for my lower rating is because of the customer service. Yes, it’s a 3-star hotel, however, I’ve stayed in shabbier places with better service than here. The issue is the overall processes management seem to have in issue protocol and organisation overall. During my stay, I had broken my toe in my room having stubbed my toe on the very well camouflaged door stopper hidden by the black and white carpet, accompanied by a badly lit room. I get the aesthetic, but not having ample lighting is a hazard. There was also a leak in my room, which was described to me as condensation from my air conditioning. It did not stop at all and it soaked the carpet on the hallway of the room. Whenever I asked for help, bar one time that I asked for ice for my foot, I was told “I cannot help you, sorry” or similar along those lines. What frustrated me the most is that when I asked for help to get a taxi at 5am, I was met with another “Sorry, I cannot help, I don’t have our taxi app log in for the hotel. Try Uber.” I had told the night porter, “I have been trying for 20 mins, I can’t seem to get through, therefore asking you.” When I gave l feedback on how unsatisfactory the customer service was upon dropping my key at the desk, it was met with “It’s not my fault”. I agree, it’s not one person’s fault, it’s the Management’s processes in place to handle issues, complaints, and simple taxi booking services. You need to give your staff more training in issue triage and management, as well as writing down that taxi app log in details somewhere! I stress that rooms were clean, premises were clean, and the bed was comfy. The location was a mere 300m from the Metro (Esplanade de la Defense), near to Westfield Mall and convenient for anyone looking concert goers at the La Defense Arena. The only downfall here what has been said above. A huge shout out to Clement (I may be wrong) at the front desk for being so kind when I asked for ice. He was the only one that asked if I was okay and if he can call emergency services for me. When I told him that the swelling was bad, however, the pain was not as bad as the first day, he was still so kind. An extra shout out to the staff at the restaurant at the 14th floor for supplying me an extra large portion of ice that I was able to use it for a few hours!

Whenever I'm in La Defense I try my best to visit Bistro d'Édouard. Small menu means fresh produce but go early(ish) to avoid items being sold out. It's not super noisy like some of the other nearby bistros so you can talk the whole evening away.

They cannot cook a steak - they cannot deal with mistakes. Had lunch there this afternoon after a friends recommendation. I am not a stranger to Paris and the food culture. Ordered steak frites. I asked for medium rare. The food arrived and the steak and chips were overcooked. Even difficult to cut. When we asked the waiter we essentially had three staff members come up to us to tell us that this is how it is done in Paris... No apologies no corrections. I wish I insisted more. As when the nearby tables got their food we could see how overcooked our frite were. Anyway terrible service. Terrible food.

I’m writing to express my disappointment and frustration with my experience today. I visit this place almost daily, both at morning and sometimes during lunch, just like today. However, during lunch, they forgot to give me fork or spoon for the salad as usual! And when I asked for it, he asked me to pay extra. When I told him I just wanted a regular one, he made a silly remark saying “new era!” and the people around me started laughing. Excuse me, what about your salad that served in a plastic container?! Or he have double standards to treat others?! I’ve always felt comfortable dealing with others here, and they’ve been great “specially the girls and the young man”, even they apologising at times if they were late to my order. This place was overall really nice. The staff were helpful and friendly, which made a great impression. The only issue I experienced was with the coffee cup I received. It had quite a bit of dust around the rim. When I showed it to the staff, he immediately offered to replace it without any hesitation, which I really appreciated. It was handled exactly the way it should be. The second cup also had a few tiny fibers or dust particles, which made me think the surface they place the cups on might be a bit dusty. Other than that, everything about my experience was pleasant and I left satisfied.

Good selection from the general French cuisine, variety of fish, selection of burger, the good old tartares (salmon I had) and of course: pour all down with a red Bordeaux wine. Weekend in Paris and came across this gorgeous place for drinks we ordered a MARGARITA & PORNSTARMARTINI the first image is from Saturday night the cocktails were amazing !! Images 2 & 3 are when we came back Monday for a departing drink ordering the exact same thing and we were left confused and not satisfied. There’s no consistency in the cocktails these are clearly not margarita or pornstar martini, aside from the slight language barrier and potential miscommunication I still do not feel satisfied form this visit. When we were brought the correct drinks the pornstar martini was smothered with passionfruit puree and was so sweet it was almost sickly, as for the margarita which I asked for with a salt rim there was no salt and lumps of ice in the drink. Overall not the best experience.

The dinner food was not good, the pasta we orderd was very watery and bland, the burger was tasteless and the bread took over because it was so thick. The only good thing was the snails but it was also the first time we tried snails so we dont have anything to compare with.

Literally the worst flat white in entire world + when they gave me this full of foam white "thing", I asked "are you sure that it's a flat white" and the guy answered "yes of course espresso and milk don't worry" he may not know (or thing that no-one knows) that with milk espresso people can prepare tens of different coffee... Nice place like so many good 'Boulangers' in France. Sandwiches are pretty big, lots of extras (small salads, meal salads, pastries, viennoisserie, macarons - bien sur. The look and feel differs per store, at Gare du Nord it's really nice.

Visiting from the U.S and wanted to eat at a nice French style restaurant. The was the ONE. I enjoyed the very pleasant environment and excellent staff. The food was absolutely delicious. I had the Duck and my wife had the steak. We enjoyed the vegetable dish for the appetizer. Followed by an excellent dessert! FYI the Chocolate mousse is all you can eat. I was walking around to find a place where to gave dinner. I looked around and bumped into James, one of the staff st Carpe Diem. I told him I fancied a stake and red wine. He found a nice table and chose the wine for me, I ended up finishing the first glass before the stake arrived. The Stake was delicious, lovely handmade French fries with skin on and baguette to accompany the salad. I loved every minute of my short experience and James was lovely. I wish I asked him what wine he got for me 😄

Dommage, on aurait bien aimé que la qualité produit soit un des premiers critères du repreneur, d’autant plus que l’endroit, à mi-chemin avec les habitants, les étudiants et les employés de La Défense, pouvait devenir une très bonne adresse... Mais c’est sans doute oublier le créneau "pas-top-mais-pas-cher" qui a visiblement été préféré par le repreneur, pensant que les étudiants et autres ´déjeuneurs sur le pouce’ préfèrent économiser 50 cts plutôt que d’avoir envie de revenir. Perso, je trouve ça dommage.

She blended it so much it became just milk and coffee. I asked also to add "saveur chocolat" and the African manager passed by, gave me such a dirty look and turned to get employee and said in French "make sure to charge additional for that". It’s a small starbucks but has some seating outside which is great for spring or summer. The problem happens around noon when there is a huge line waiting to be served and if you don’t plan on drinking your coffee inside the coffee shop and instead want to take it with you, it’s really not worth it. It’s better to go across the hall to Pret and getting a coffee to go there.

The food is very good. i think it is very fresh and tasty. Especially the croissant. The service is not as expected at all. Waiters are overworking which make them anxious and nervous and sometimes rude to the guests.

Don't ask me how many chocolate croissants I had during my trip to Paris because I lost count. I seriously think I'm addicted to them because now that I'm back in the states, I'm craving croissants each morning. They are very reasonably prices compared to Paul locations in the US. Each croissant is roughly $2.50 USD.

SCAM. I ordered a baguette pastry yesterday at Paul and was given a bag (which had a chocolate pastry( for 2.50€ and I paid for it. When I received the bag I saw that it wasn't mine so I gave it back to the staff members (there was a woman with short hair working there). They then gave me the right bag and then charged me 5.60€ but didn't give me a refund or the chocolate pastry back. I tried explaining the situation, I don't speak French so I showed them the pastry and then pointed to the one I just gave them back and they shrugged me off and LAUGHED at me. Worst experience in all of Europe what a terrible place.

I was expecting better service. There were two to three different waiters taking my order, one taking care of payment and still another serving our coffees. No wonder they mixed it all and even though I had my receit to show they charged me extra after our break for the sweet piece of pie I had ordered and paid in the first place. Shameful. One star for good coffee, anyway.

Perfection! I probably had one of my best dining experience here at La Defence. I’m not local and some colleagues told me to try the steak here. Initially I felt worried because I was alone and was not too sure if this was gonna be a weird lonely experience. I was wrong. I had an amazing server who introduced me to a good wine, a great peppercorn beef fillet with a French onion soup to start. Darn!!!! Blown away. Do try the St Emilio Grand Cru and Beef fillet with three peppers. Super!!!!!

A bit of classic French food done nicely - all very tasty food, friendly service - the perfect local neighbour restaurant. Foie gras with mulled wine chutney - 😋 I had scallops on orzo and rich jus - delicious. My wife had steak tartare - traditional style, but very good. My son had creamy truffle pasta. Very tasty! My daughter had a massive cheesy truffle croque monsieur - very nice, rich and decadent. Very recommended if in the area at La Defense arena. Staff were attentive and friendly.

Loved the food, I asked for a pavé de maigre with kimchi and the Caesar salad with red wine. At first the waiter was not very welcoming but then they changed to a new one and the experience was really nice.

The worst coffee ever (if we can call it that way) I order a decaf capuccino and what I got was hot milk… very dissapointing. Staff was nice, but the coffee… well NOT COFFEE AT ALL!

I really enjoy going to Cojean when I’m at the office. Their avocado toast is delicious, the Caesar salad is always fresh, and the chocolate mousse is a real treat. The staff is always super friendly and welcoming. Prices are definitely on the higher side, but the quality makes it worth it for an occasional lunch.

This place optically looks inviting, but is a rip off. Prices here are more expensive than Monoprix (right around the corner, same building) — 1,20 euro more for a smaller mango cup than at Monoprix. Cojean also sell lots of items that require utensils but they charge you for them/even a single fork! Lastly, two of my friends, on different occasions got food poising from this place in the last week. Would definitely not recommend.

I love this place, staff is so kind and they speak English, lunch time there is generally a line that goes pretty fast, everything they make is fresh and tastes so good. They have like a healthy theme and i love the fact that you can see the nutritional value of the dishes (calories-protein etc)
