I don’t know, I’ve been there a few times, it was either empty or were a few old dudes sitting at the bar smoking, so it was just lame and it stank. Apparently there’s live music but when I went at 11pm on a Friday it wasn’t happening. The fact that they smoke cigarettes inside is gross 😕

Some of the reviewers said racism that could be true because they asked me if I was Russian. But as an American I got treated well with no issues.

You go through two very tight security points at the entrance. They look inside your bag. Their aim is to check your money. If there are 10 girls inside, there are 40-50 boys😂The DJ plays only good songs.

One of my favourite places to go out in Bishkek. It has live music every night then also a dance floor and electronic music at the back. A good place to meet expats and locals. Drinks are reasonably priced with beers for 130som. ($1.50usd) Open really late until 4 or 5 am also. Definitely worth going to for a good night out

Good place for a friends' night out. Located at the center. It's divided into a club music area and a live music area. Overcrowded during friday/Saturdays. Popular among locals and foreigners as well. Prices are a bit higher than average.

Nicely hidden, which made it difficult to find. Decent craft beers but nothing mindblowing. Can’t speak for the food as we didn’t try. They only take cash, which is a little annoying.

What a funky hidden outdoor bar! My partner and I visited this restaurant several times while in Bishkek and enjoyed the different platters they serve, as well as some of the lighter beers. The outdoor seating area is really nice, the toilets are semi-clean and the staff is attentive, although pretty slow most of the time. As with every restaurant in Kyrgyzstan, you cannot expect the meals to be served in the right order, but the staff here did it pretty well. As for the menu, there’s a nice mix between Mexican and Thai style dishes, and the ones we tried were delicious! Loved the vegetarian and vegan dishes as well. Prices are definitely on the steep side, so be sure to expect at least €15-20 for a meal + drink(s). One of the nicest breweries in town, worth 4/5 stars for me.

Thoroughly enjoyed the beer and atmosphere at Save The Ales. The DIPA was something special. Very crushable for a strong beer. Lots of flavour and not overly bitter. Would come back for this beer alone! Unique place with lots of character, loved the beer garden!

Terrace on the 12th floor with a panoramic view of the city. Mostly for couples or groups celebrating some like birthday.

Security and staff are very racist, they told us it was full but we could see at least 20 tables empty. We took a reservation the next day through our hotel receptionist and when we went there, they again denied but after realising that a local made the booking for us, disappointed they later let us in. We only went there for the view and to order a few drinks but were denied the preferred table. Again this is at 6pm and and the restaurant had only three tables occupied. Do go only if you want to feel the warmth of a walk-in freezer.

Garbage place with rude door keeper. He always says the place is closed even when i have reservations . the management alowes bussy . they cheat in the bill and put extra stuff you did not order them. i will never go there again

Cocktails were solid for Bishkek, definitely on the sweet side. The view was nice. I don't recommend the food. Food seem to be premade and then reheated. Cheese plate was not good; it seemed like some cheese had gone bad or was precut and saved in the fridge, and so cheese had dried out and tasted off. The cheese and pistacho covered grapes were really good though. Next time I will just get a plate of those and drinks. Servers were very attentive.

Awesome views, good variety of drinks, dancing area does not bother those who’re chatting. Dress code. Pricey. There’s a separate section of karaoke bar on the 7th floor.

Music not bad, nice selections of drinks, a bit overpriced tho imho. People tend to get drunk and misbehave a lot so dont hang around until the end if you want to avoid unnecessary conflicts. Entrance fee is 500 kgs, tequila shot is around 300+, a decent whiskey is around 700.

This is the place to be in Bishkek. One of the best nightclubs in the city. The entrance is inconspicuous, inside you will be greeted by security at the gate, they have “dress code” and the fee to go in is 450 SOM after 21:00. The club itself is very modern and has great ambiance, sound system is amazing. You have the main bar and a satellite bar so it’s not hard to order a drink. They actually have a sitting are with the tables and you can order from a rich selection of dishes, it’s common in Bishkek to serve food all night. Dancing area is not that big but fits the overall club size. Live band performs on stage, it was a good one when I was there. Lively, full of young people, good service at the bar, it’s easy to see that the staff was carefully selected. Definitely more on the pricy side for Bishkek. Hendricks Tonic runs at 500 SOM including the 15% service charge. Good place if you value quality and expect selection of the audience.

Biggest, cleanest and most well-known square in all of Kyrgyzstan I guess. Lot of space, guard of honor under big flagpole, nes statue of hero Manas. If you are in Bishkek, this is your number 1 stop!

Located in the center of the capital, it is the place where holidays are held and history is made. The state flag of Kyrgyzstan, 10 × 15 meters in size, is fluttering above the square on a 45-meter flagpole There is also a bronze monument to Manas the Magnanimous, the hero of the famous Kyrgyz epic. Behind it is the National History Museum. On the right hand is the "White House", built in 1985, which had been the official residence of the President of Kyrgyzstan for many years. Under the square is a huge underground bunker, which was built in Soviet times for the leadership of the republic. Exhibitions are held there from time to time. Fountains are flowing and flowers are blooming on the square. If you look at the flowerbeds from a bird's eye view, you can see traditional Kyrgyz ornaments they form. A pleasant place to visit and certainly not to be missed if you're in Bishkek.

This is the kind of place that makes very happy an average foodie like me. I just had the super delicious Lunch set A, which is varied and generous in size. Especial mention to the chicken breast and tokkochi. The caramel milkshake was also really good, perfect balance of chocolate and caramel (and I am a big fan of milkshakes). I could not resist trying also the honey cake, which was also wonderful. Very kind and attentive service and quite cool casual atmosphere. Having lived 7 years in New York, I could see this place rivalring with the bests of this kind. I will definetely come back to try more dishes, and wish long life to this place, to keep making happy more people like me!

Came here for a late lunch after exploring Bishkek’s centre. Friendly service, unique menu and great flavours. I had the katsu burrito which was amazing! Not sure if this place is affiliated with Chicken Star in Almaty but hey! Equally good. Thumbs up for the teokbokki, thumbs down for the cauliflower steak. Level 3 Korean spicy fried chicken was good. We got the half portion which we felt was enough for two. Level 5 was CRAZY SPICY. That’s a lot coming from two Southeast Asians. We were sweating and tearing and cursing. Not for the faint hearted. English menu was helpful. Staff is friendly and kind, even gave milk to my chilli-sweating partner.

Great korean home made food. Loves the spicy korean wings, kimbap and beer. We sat looking out at the boulevard outside :) perfect weather too!

KFC upgraded. This place serves some really good korean fried chicken and korean food. First, the tteokbokki. Now this wasn’t really authentic tteokbokki, but rather their version of a contemporary rice cake dish. The Chicken Star version was closer to an Indonesian Gado Gado — coming with vegetables and a spicy peanut sauce that went well with the rice cake. Next, the fried chicken. You get a choice of whole cut chickens or the chicken breast (and others). We tried the 2 spiciest levels, and both were great. Be warned, however, that the spiciest level is indeed SPICY. It’s the same as the double-spicy budak. Upon successful “completion” of the spiciest level, the staff will reward you with some alternative milk cocktail that soothes your tongue. Lastly was the grilled cauliflower. This was a bummer. Honestly a little too hard and undercooked. Beer was good too. All in all, a great place.

This was the first restaurant that I visited while in Bishkek and if it’s a sign of what is to come with other places in the city then I’ll be very impressed. From the moment I walked in the girls were super friendly & spoke English very well. I went for the classic friend chicken, home cut fries & a local beer all where great. I have to say the Korean spicy sauce was awesome. This place is super international & everything can be found in English, you can also come here just for a coffee too.

After a week travelling in Kyrgyzstan, this place was great to have finally a good IPA. Really nice music, big selection of beers (mostly Russian) but the drafts are from Bishkek. The only minus, the employee there, seemed like she did not want to work and made our visit quite quick

It is located in the building where FixedPrice is, just FYI since there’s no sign. They have two floors, dancing, karaoke and beer starting at 199 kgs. The service is a bit slow, but overall an okay experience. They also might not let you in if they don’t like you 🤷‍♀️ This is mostly for large groups of people who book tables in advance, as a solo person I wouldn’t go again.

We went here to watch a Euro Cup match. There were plenty of screens and, to our surprise, the food was exceptional. However, it was difficult to find the München Pub. It is located in a dodgy looking building on the second floor. The draft beer was lousy. Eventually we had to change to bottled beer. Something you should improve, if you pride yourself to be a German beer bar ;) There were plenty of staff members, but they looked bored and were mostly busy talking to each other. Too bad, as the place has potential.

There is no sign and the pub is located on the last two floors of the building. They look at your clothes and face before deciding to let you in or deny access. Looks like a good idea to throw some money and have fun

They dont let you in if you are not white skin. We are tourist from dubai . The worst pub I ever went in Kyrgyzstan.. don’t recommend . The lady sitting at the reception tells that the cctv camera don’t allow people as they are not permitted but if you are a white skin .. no camera .. don’t recommend and the worst experience I ever had ..

One of the worst experiences I have ever had. Staff were unfriendly and didnt want to make our orders eventhough we were well willing to pay for it. Hores were walking in all the time and the situation was very sketchy. Once we received the food for 1 person a guy started singing with very loud music. I can repeat again this is the worst place possible do not visit!! They hate tourist eventhough you are white, they just hate everyone. They try to get you away. Dont go!!

Best club in city center, they have karaoke downstairs and live music on the weekend upstairs. Steaks are just average.

It's a nice relaxing bar area if you just want to sit alone and think. I never used the upstairs or the karaoke rooms. But the food was great. And the staff. Especially "kana" was very welcoming and helpful.

We came to try this place seeing the rating as 4+. However, we had to leave the place as soon as we entered due to the language barrier. I was surprised to see that a bar in the city didn't have any staff who spoke English to cater to the tourists.

Came to Live Bar for a drink and absolutely love the vibe! The music is great and there is a lounge area or karaoke bar depending on what you'd like to do. Our server, Ynah was great and very attentive. Will come back for sure!

This place is racist to brown people. My friend and I are visiting from New York, and they would not let us in, claiming we did not fit the dress code. But When our white friend came to check on the situation, the hosts changed their attitude and let us all in. This means it was never about the dress code in the first place. The place went - south big time! Lots of smoke, unbreathable there. Service -10, slow, with attitude. You have to pay 15% SVC, for attitude. Manager there - Akmal, no resolution whatsoever to the givencies. I used to go there lots of time. After the last visit never-ever again. An average check of $80 per person, (table of two- 2.5 hours) we had to pour own drinks, had to constantly call for service. Used to be the place- when was under myaram group and kaynar. Now - total useless management.

Nice place to hang out with friends. Food is average. They have nice drinks. Also if u don’t like shisha u need to consider that most of the people smoke there. So keep that in mind.

The place is very big and it would be nice if they have a section without shishas. I asked for a bowl and it was tiny and very expensive. Service was very slow. A big disappointment

Very decent kids area both inside and outside. The food is good but quite pricey. 2 areas for smokers and non-smokers are in a good distance. In summer when they open the outside bar and tables the service is low, food can be served cold. They have a loyalty program both themselves and with the Bishkek Women’s International Club. Eggplant salad is my favorite here - crispy fried eggplants in oriental souce!

We were here for beer and some meals in the evening. We wanted to taste local beer, we had two types, one better other one was nothing special, so I switched to belgian beer. It is maybe Bishkeks tradition to serve tap beer without foam, but whatever... The soup and dishes were tasty, rib eye steak was medium as I wanted. The negroni wasn't the original recipe, but was OK. I can really recommend.

Large patio with many tables, beer prices are alright, gets pretty busy in the evenings, sometimes they show sports and they have a large amount of sprinklers for those hot nights. Is it fun? Not really, and the crowd in general is 40+ Do I enjoy watching old, drunk, sweaty men yell and tell their degenerate stories? Not so much

A perfect place to unwind after a day's work or sightseeing in case you're a tourist. Over the 4 days we were holidaying in Kyrgyzstan, we ended up 4 times at this institution of great beer and food. The Pinta Dark Beer (4.2%) was our personal favorite. The house lager and wheat ales are very good too. Food wise, large menu with typical pub grub and local specialities too. The beef kebab and grilled trout were our favorites. The service is absolutely fantastic and be rest assured you'll be well taken care of. Wooden chairs n benches with wooden tables in an open beer garden setup wuth a good selection of music is an atmosphere which only you can dream of.... and in Pinta!

Cats are lovely, staff are polite and kind, steak is juicy. About the draft beer in the pub, I’d prefer Czech beer to Pinta beer.

Great place for football, beer, and terrace. Service is quite good. The bathroom is down the stairs so not disability friendly. I'm not interested in football but the EC match Finland against Russia was playing on the big screen so obviously some other guests were excited. We had salami (pepperoni) pizza with a Greek salad. Next time I'll probably get the mushroom pasta which sounded vegetarian. Wheat beer from Urban great as always. I'd go back here

Great food for a good price, and the view is amazing. They had live music but after a while they switched to a playlist and put some inappropriate loud Spanish regaton on, this is the reason I am not giving 5 stars.

A high class gourmet restaurant with a nice and wide variety of very creative pan Asian cuisine! Every dish I tried over my one week stay at the hotel had an unexpected and outstanding taste. The staff is very attentive and some also speak a bit of English. The discrete jazzy life music adds to a wonderful rooftop atmosphere.

The Chef is engaging AND makes the best food. He brought out a complimentary spicy sushi for me because ‘I love spicy’. The view is stellar. Food is delightful. Has cocktails, beer and wine. A must visit in Bishkek. It is in the Sheraton Hotel, which is also lovely, but that’s for a different review. Sorry for the bad picture, but that was taken at the time of writing review.

Service was ok, view amazing and the athmosphere great. But.... Must say that we expected more from a Sheraton restaurant. We spent 40-70€ per person (no alcohol). Scampis were overcooked, tea and lemonade had a really light taste, didn't even distinguish the different flavours. Edamames were mushy and swimming in Sriracha sauce (picture in the menu looked totally different...). Sushi, salad and desserts were good. This pricey (for Kyrgyzstan) restaurant should definitely have some standards in the food. Everything took quite a long time, for example, we waited 40min for the desserts and one of our members waited a while after othes got their food to even get her appetizers. We also had to ask more light to our table as it was really dark and we couldn't see the food on the table. In short: average food, high-end waiting times. Maybe it would be a good time for some directors to have a visit.

I visited IWA during my tour to Bishkek on 1st September 2025 The atmosphere is honestly very good with the backdrop of Bishkek city centre. Unfortunately the food was just below average, except the sushi rolls, all other dishes are barely up to a 5-star hotel standard. The steak which charged us 2,000 KGS was not great... the side dishes were even more disappointing given the price... The point that pissed me off the most was their service. Their machine couldn’t take payment from my credit card, they never wanted to change their approach (e.g., changing their machine) instead they just stood there for trial and error, they even wanted us to settle the KGS10,000 bill in cash... All in all, I was very disappointed by IWA, a so called top restaurant in a 5-star hotel in the prime location of Bishkek. I believe they can do better than this.

I had planned to enjoy a nice dinner with my son and take in the beautiful view, but when I was informed about this policy, I walked out. Extremely classy establishment. We arrived as the only customers. I believe there was some language barrier as we are not staying at the hotel but a minimum spend was required or a deposit was to be paid? Either way none of this mattered as we were eventually sat down as per our request of seating choices. Very nice views of Bishkek. Probably the best? You are greeted by all staff, kind people all-round. Ordering from a tablet which is slightly different but part of the experience. There is an English option. Our drinks and snacks are very good and all timed perfectly. Presentation and attention to detail is very good. As expected. The staff let you go about your day without any distractions, until you are ready. Nothing is too much trouble nor will you be left without exemplary service. We paid and left, our first English receipt. Some issue with Mastercard as we experienced previously but we had Visa as a backup. Very much recommended.

The best place to meet new cool people and alot of people who can communicate in english. Plus the music is great too. And the administration is good too.

Brewpub in the east of Bishkek, a bit out of the action really. Nicely done out with a big copper brewkit (single vessel) behind the bar, I'd say they definitely brew here as there's a fermenting room you can see which has tanks and lists of what's in them, looks legit to me. Beer was totally OK but a touch safe and dull (very German!) and, although small glasses were shown on the menu, we were told they "weren't available"... likely story. Anyway, I'd not make the special effort to come here, but if you're a beer ticking completist (like me) then you may as well get a Yandex here, it's definitely one to boast about, although the beers at Brewsters, Pivo and Save the Ales are better.

I recently visited Suzie Wong, and it was a terrible experience from start to finish. The front security staff were incredibly rude, making the entrance process unpleasant. Once inside, the food was a huge disappointment, it was overpriced and not tasty at all. They require a deposit of 8,000 soms for each table, which seems unreasonable considering the poor quality of the food. The music was another letdown; they played outdated, old-school tracks, which didn't create a lively or enjoyable atmosphere. Two years ago, the music was much better, but this time, the entire experience was just bad. I won’t be coming back. Stay away from this place! 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

One of the best things about this night club is that they they turn away Indian and Pakistani men to stop the beautiful woman that come to this club, being harassed by sleazy men. Suzie Wong is one of the best restaurant and night club with a lot different spaces, VIP places and a big dancefloor. There are many entertainment show. The prices are enough high, so it's recommended for wealthy people, and not with small funds

Worst worst worst experience.. Indians/Pakistanis dont waste your time and money on this place. They wont let you enter in and believe me my group was looking most classy even then the camera dint read us to be well dressed or dint like our ethnicity or whatever. And they wouldn't even reply why you're not allowed in and obviously they dont understand english!!!!!

Food is pretty good. Prices are really high (by Kyrgyzstan standards). I understand there's live music every night or so, the band when I was there was pretty good. The neighborhood is very upscale so it's totally safe at night. A good place to unwind with friends in a rather laid back ambiance.

Really disappointed with this pub... Offered free beer for the birthday but resulted we should spend 400 soms per guest to get the free beers. We didn't take the offer as it didn't made sense seeing the price of beers in the pub. However, the waitress brang to our table a big plate of food, costing 1200 soms, saying we ordered it, while we had always refused to spend money on food. At the end, she gave a free cheesecake for the birthday boy but it resulted she made us pay for it at the end when we didn't even ask. Really disappointed

The best cherry beer I've ever had was in Blonder Pub! And it was brewed right there, they have their own brewery! Food is delicious and the atmosphere is very calming and inviting! Highly recommended!

really cool bar, we were there to watch a rock band who were great! The cocktails are amazing and they have a really good range of non alcoholic cocktails and lemonades. The food is amazing, especially their naan with cheese and garlic. We also had the paneer tandoori which was also delicious. Some really creative drinks on the menu - definitely order the brain explosion. The owners are lovely, really interesting people. And there is a cat!

Really nice bar hidden in the north part of the city. They serve a lot of different drinks for a good price, I had a great Negroni. Next to this they also got some food options, really enjoyed the afghan curry! The bar itself has a great ambiance and is decorated in a relaxed and fun manner. After three weeks in Bishkek, and visiting my fair share of bars, I had best night here. It was the Diwali Indian celebration of light, everyone was beautiful in their best Indian dress and the dance floor was bounding all night!

This place has all the makings of an amazing little gem. Great ambience and solid wine selection. The beers were lacking though, they were out of all the beer on tap except for one choice. The service for us was mixed. One of the hosts was really nice but our waiter was aloof and made us feel unwelcome. Side note (nothing to do with rating, more of an FYI), our foreign credit cards did not work (asked for a PIN), we were able to pay with a debit card but make sure you bring enough cash.

This place is incredibly cool! Staff was very nice and every recommendation was amazing. I wanted to try more, but those little shots do hit you, so I have to come back tomorrow. I had been wanting to go for days, but I was too tired. I am so glad I made it! Try the Portuguese cherry ginjinha, which is sour cherry with cinnamon, and the seasonal liquers. The Cafe Corretto was also great. Great coffee with great whiskey, so perfect. The Escolar sandwiches were great and filling! Smoked fish. You know it's good when you have to talk yourself out of ordering more drinks and food :) I'll be back.

Really enjoyed our time here. Kamila was really kind and generous to us. Came here to get a pint to relax from our tiring day and to hide from the rain. It was definitely worth it. They have infused spirits which is worth a try and the ipa was good as well.

The drinks were very good and the bartender (Aliya) was excellent! We had some small snacks (lebneh and baba ganoush) to keep us “sober” which were freshly made and also tasty. The different types of negroni were delicious, especially the mezcal negroni! The only thing that requires improvement is the music which should be more modern and a bit louder.

I tried 4 of infused vodkas, which you can get as a shot or as a cocktail. Blue Berry Fields cocktail was divine! Good consistency in the cocktail between the 2 visits. Most cocktails are priced between 355 som to 425 som - which is extremely resonable. Good food - tried the BLT Sandwich and Chicken Schnitzel. Even though the indoor area was full and people were standing outside, service was prompt 😊

I really like this place. Been a couple.of times for coffee and today for the amazing Strawberry lemonade. It's strawberry season right now. It was delicious and very refreshing. Recommend. Food looks good and I saw many people eating.

A really nice place with a selection of international wines, coffee and a great food menu. They have really cool wine machines, so you can buy as much or as little of each wine that you wish to sample. This makes for a really fun night out trying different wines, as you desire. The owners were kind enough to let the customers try really delicious Dutch goats cheese produced locally in Bishkek. You can order delicious burgers and shashlik from the Pinta Pub next door. The staff are polite and professional and the crowd is a friendly mix of locals and internationals.

Nice burgers and the small one was large enough for us. However the order for wedges was stupidly small. All in all though, a good lunch spot. Prices are low by Western standards, but medium by local.

Very good burgers with smell of grill, nice fries. The kids area could be better but I’m glad it’s there. They offer lunch sets with soups and salad. Orders are made at the cashier desk, however staff is friendly enough to take additional orders at table.

I wrote a review earlier, but wanted to revise it. I come to Bishkek monthly and always make a stop at the Burger House! And of course I recommend the restaurant to fellow travelers. I was amazed to learn recently, that the mustard that is offered, was hand selected and created specifically for Burger House. It is very similar to French's mustard in the US. The burgers are great! But in regards to the Chili Hotdog, let's talk 😁. I have a couple of ideas on how to improve this and make it more authentic. The customer service is terrific, even when something goes wrong (like a fire in the kitchen). The location is perfect as well! I hope everyone will try this place, at least once! I think you will return, again and again!

One of the favorite places of our little son, who loves BH burgers. Plus the place a nice kids' friendly play zone. Process for burgers here a bit pricey because of freshly made, and I think it's worth it. So I guess if you miss a good burger, it would be a good place to go.

Went here a few months ago. Great selection of food and non-alocholic drinks if you don't want beer or vodka. This is the smaller venue--it had moved locations. Service is slow (but that is pretty much everywhere in Bishkek) and staff is friendly. There is a non-smoking section but that does not get as much staff attention.

We tried several items from the menu, but unfortunately, none of them were particularly memorable. Additionally, the service was disappointing. The staff seemed disorganized and inattentive, which affected the overall experience. In summary, while Oblaka offers a stunning view, the food and service need significant improvement to match the level of the restaurant's location. I hope they address these issues because the potential for a fantastic dining experience is certainly there.

For sure it’s not a place for vegetarians. Shisha is good with fairly diverse selection of tobacco and flavors. The prices are relatively high for Bishkek, but much cheaper if you come from Western Europe or USA.

The staff here are quite friendly and this seems like a nice enough place to visit. While I understand Mexican food isn't really something you'd expect to find in Central Asia, this has a 5 star rating so I thought I'd give it a try. I ordered the taco platter that includes every taco option - chicken and zucchini; cheese and iceberg lettuce; and shredded beef and bean. None of the ingredients in any of these tacos are even remotely Mexican except perhaps the chicken. They also served things I'd never see at a Mexican restaurant like sides of sweet and sour sauce, bbq sauce, pistachios, and some sort of ranch dressing. The tacos themselves were tolerable if I ignored the fact they aren't at all Mexican but even then they were pretty dull. I don't mind that I went here as it can be fun to try things that make no sense (Mexican food in Kzyrzkystan) but this is not worthy of a 5 star rating. If you're after a reasonably priced meal with friendly staff that is worthy of a laugh but tolerable enough to make a meal, then sure go ahead. But if you want real Mexican food or even just a great meal that's not Mexican, this is not the place.
