Perfect place with draught beer on the beach ! A great spot right by the beach with perfect draught beer and stunning views. The staff are friendly, and the location couldn’t be better—just steps away from the shore.

I had luch here yesterday with a friend and it was great. We sat out on the sand facing the water and what a great view. Food and service was great. The young lady who served us did a really good job. Highly recommend if you're looking for evening drinks or just a spot for lunch or to chill.

Spent a wonderful couple of hours here with the kids, grazing on various small plates and drinking a few of their namesake lagers. A couple of favourites from the menu were the Pork Bites and Bajan fishcakes. The service was excellent, and they helped me get a taxi when it was time to leave, too. Highly recommend this place - and it goes without saying that the beach is absolutely beautiful!

GREAT location, right on the beach. Service is friendly and efficient. The food is cooked very well and tastes great. Prices are very affordable. There is a DJ with music at a level where you can still converse and a lively late night bar scene. Great place for singles, couples, or families with children young and old.

The Buljol is a must! The Chef here is creative and everything is delicious! 10 stars! Did I mention the view.

This is such a lovely place. I stayed here all day working on my dissertation and it's definitely popular with tourist and families as a lot of different groups came through and one big group was actually there before I came and wasn't gone when I left! The food was really good - I got the buljol, which was super delicious, and a small pizza which was also pretty good. The tomato sauce tasted a bit sweet for me but it's definitely one of the best pizzas I've had here so far (altho most pizza places have been bad so take that as you will.) Prices for food and drinks were very reasonable and the staff were so lovely and attentive. Particularly a waitress with short hair and a bartender who I think had a dreaded ponytail. I didn't catch either of their names but they were both so so nice and friendly. 100% recommend this place. Will definitely be back if I can!

From start to finish the Harbor Lights Show delivered with customer service, entertainment, welcoming atmosphere, and great food! If requested, they can provide transportation from your hotel or villa. Our transportation was on time and the driver was very courteous. Upon entering the venue you are greeted with your first rum punch followed by a souvenirs vender with some reasonably priced goods. Then you are greeted and seated. All drinks, food, beverages are included. Tips are welcome and I would say well deserved. Before the show begins, you can get drinks or some appetizers. The show will provide a few great acts before dinner. I forgot to mention, as you enter, you are asked what kind of meal you would like (jerked chicken, steak, shrimp, fish) and receive a ticket. Mid show you have dinner which was delicious and little after dinner dessert is available. The food was cooked and seasoned well and the drinks were not watered down! The show was a combination of history, a little carnival vibe, that later turned into a party. I am glad we made this choice. I would recommend to anyone!

Harbour lights was a fantastic beach club on boatyard beach. Only a 10 min taxi from the cruise port for $5, the beach club was $35pp for sunbed, umbrella and a snorkeling boat trip to the shipwrecks and to swim with turtles. It was worth the entry fee for the snorkeling trip alone. Sunbed service for drinks and food. The food was really good. Highly recommended for a great day in Barbados

The show was amazing. I had so much fun dancing and singing along. The dancers were very professional and entertaining. The band sounded good and kept the audience engaged. I highly recommend attending. There was plenty of food to choose from but it could have been more flavorful. Dessert was simple but delicious. The ice cream helped cool me off from all the dancing I was doing in my seat. The event ends with a full on dance party. So much fun!! Tip: Guests are asked to arrive at 7. They check you in, give you a welcome drink (rum punch 🥳) and show you to your seat. There are appetizers to enjoy prior to the start of the show around 740. Dinner isn't served until 830. Be prepared to eat late.

Best experience in Barbados for entertainment. Great entertainment showcasing Barbados rich culture and history. The variety of dancing was amazing. I love how much the performers interacted with the guests which adds more memorable moments. The food was absolutely amazing, fresh and my steak was cooked to perfection. Unlimited drinks were very good and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I would do this again on my next visit. I highly recommend Harbour Lights for the entire family.

Fabulous night at the dinner show. Food was very good and served efficiently given the amount of people there. Pre dinner appetisers were welcome to have with your welcome rum punch. Drinks were good too, best pina colada I’ve had all holiday and the rum and tonic was a good measure. Just be mindful that some cocktails are not part of the package but can be purchased for 12 USD. Entertainment was very good, and there is a real party atmosphere. I would definitely recommend an evening out at Harbour Lights.

We were on a cruise and Barbados was one of the ports. We wanted to go to a local beach and found Harbour Lights Beach Club while searching online. Made reservations for a front row reserved seat that included two lounge chairs and umbrella. Paid just a bit more to include turtle snorkeling. We took a taxi from the pier for 5.00. We arrived at Harbour Lights and checked in. It’s a nice beach club with great drink service on the beach. Derek took care of us and provided great service. There was never much of a wait getting our drinks. The beach club has restrooms and showers. The turtle snorkeling was good. We saw colorful fish, a couple stingrays and turtles. Highly recommend. Would definitely return next time we’re in Barbados.

I was a little apprehensive of this place as I'd heard and read that the English lady that owns it is known to be very rude to customers and staff. However, I did not witness this and even had a chat with her. The servers were all very friendly. Visited on BBQ day which was very nice, you pay for a plate, choose fish, chicken or beef all served fresh him the BBQ with lots of salad, potatoes and so on. We arrived fairly early in the day and were rewarded with outstanding beach access, the fallen palm trees forming a small private cove, it was beautiful. Beware of the tide, it comes in very high in this area, and at quite a rate. You will need to move right up high on the banks or your possessions will succumb to the Caribbean.

Best rum punch on the island. Great happy hour for them too. Be sure to get some fish cakes and enjoy the sunset. No frills beach bar with great food and drink. Even got engaged on the beach in front for the sunset. Highly recommend

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! SCAMMERS! We went for happy hour and there was no one there. Ordered rum punch which we were told was on the happy hour menu prior to ordering. They ended up charging us double. We asked for the correct change and they told us that we were crazy. Terrible people. I hope they know what goes around comes around.

We have visited Crystal Waters beach bar twice on our two weeks holiday, early morning for breakfast. It did not disappoint good food at a reasonable price, good friendly service. Thank you. If we return to Barbados we will definitely visit again x

Absolutely shocking service. Walked past the sign on the road with COCKTAILS on it,so decided do pop in for a cocktail. It was happy hour so happy days. Had two drinks and went to pay and were told the rum sours were not on the happy hour list. We were never given a happy hour menu,never told there was exceptions and when we spoke to the owner she said “most people know that”. Besides us not being actual mind readers,she also said “well it’s on the board out there but somebody rubbed it off”. For such a gorgeous location the place was empty,and now I see why. Avoid like the plague unless you are prepared for a grumpy oul wan.

The ambience at this place is ALWAYS a nice vibe...I enjoyed the setting ...the music...the blend of locals and tourist...the drinks etc. If you want to relax or destress Crystal Waters it is. A mature setting where you can truly relax and enjoy yourself. Keep it up guys!!

Great mex place on the corner of the gap. Good location and views. Really nice service, casual dining. Never sure about eating food that's not generally a local dish, but this place knows how to do mex food. All traditional mex dishes, and decently done with fresh ingredients. Service, even though busy was really good. Even without a booking and them being pretty busy, they still managed to squeeze us in. Reasonable prices for good food.

A friend of ours who is a local told us about this spot and we are so glad that she did!!!! The food was very flavorful and well presented. They had options for basically everyone ranging from wings to salads to steaks to tacos. The staff were very helpful and accommodating which is definitely a plus!!!! The food came out quickly, it was piping hot and the price really is not much different than what you would expect at an American restaurant back home. The ONLY issue I had was the size of the wings because they were tiny BUT they were still delicious!!!! They are closed on Mondays and are very popular on the weekends especially; so plan accordingly.

Food and the margaritas were good except for the cheese nachos. The bread pudding and vanilla ice cream was 1000/10.

Wasn't to impressed with the service or the temperature of the foods on my last visit here. 2-1 cocktails is now 2nd cocktails for half price. Clumsy waitress marked my t-shirt with her pen as she went pass me! Back again and again.... love this place as it offers you something different from all the other places. Great Mexican restaurant with good quality food and drinks. Big portions served in a great location at one end of st Lawrence gap. Happy hour is 5-6pm every evening and 10-11pm, also 2 for 1 on a special selected drink every evening till close, Great cocktails. It gets very busy and normally no bookings are taken on partys less then 4 persons so you may have to wait out or the bar if there's space. Fairly priced and worth a visit.

The service a great here, friendly, fast, and attentive. The food is ok. The cheese on the nachos is.. grainy? And somewhat bland. The kids nachos get about half the accoutrements the adult nachos do. The food was very filling. It’s a very open cafe, and they have a lot of fans, but the breeze isn’t great so on hot stagnant days it could be too hot to enjoy a meal.

Cafe Sol is conveniently located at the beginning of the Gap, and offers great service with friendly and attentive staff! It is close to a beautiful space overlooking the sea, and you can get magnificent pictures as the sun sets. It's wonderful to walk up from the restaurant after dinner, past all the other lovely restaurants and bars that the Gap has to offer! We loved the vibe, and of course the food, and will definitely be there again!

Hidden gem on Batts Rock! The staff are great, food delicious and the view is sensational. Prices are high, but worth it for the delicious food. Starters, mains and desserts all worth a try. We visited twice during our stay and enjoyed both times. On Saturday’s they have a DJ which was great fun!

What a delight, my taxi driver suprised us. We simply wanted a really nice dinner and he delivered. No complaints. Dinner right on the beach with ambient lighting. What amazing surprise …we had the 35 minute chicken.. and this was a wonderful experience I’ll never forget.. thanks for having us

We were looking for a place for an early dinner about 4:00 and since QP didn't serve until 5:00 we went here and I was not disappointed friendly beach atmosphere excellent fresh food great vibes

Absolutely love this place. (Note it is closed until October. This is must do if you are over this way in Barbados. We went twice. First time was a walk in at lunch. From the beach. It was quiet and we were accommodated without any issues. The second time was an evening meal that coincided with sunset. Which is a must do if you get the chance. (Do book this time). We went twice which say it all. The food honestly is fantastic. So many options but the fish of the day was choice for me. It has a great drinks menu. The location/setting is superb, but you are on a sandy beach in the elements. So you might encounter flies but they have fly fans to help. So prepare for that. Lastly the staff are great, very attentive and helpful. This is my dream location to eat. I am so happy we discovered this place from a recommendation from our local taxi driver.

This cool, right on the beach bar and restaurant is the perfect place to watch the sunsetting and enjoy a cocktail, food, live music and friendly service. It has a wonderfully relaxed feel. The menu is limited but the food is good if rather secondary to the great location on Batts Rock Beach. La Cabane is the only venue on this beach and has plenty of parking. There are serviced, clean but basic toilet facilities. Book a table if the sunset is your aim but the lighting and atmosphere are great after dark too. It’s a must visit destination.

Kitty and I had an absolutely amazing evening at the Cliff last night! The staff treated us like royalty. The summer 4 course menu was perfect for us and we each shared a glass of red and white. I think the summer menu is a great idea and just brought the meal into our affordability bracket! Thank you so much and we very much hope we can return again in the future! What a beautiful place! Very few places in the world have that special view, the nicest staff and food that tasty! Multiple levels, each with a special view, the short ribs were very tasty and the shrimp curry was amazing! Our waiter was super attentive and you can tell everyone is well trained to complete your experience with the best service. We loved it!

While we were here for drinks mainly, the atmosphere and ambience is unmatched. From the view to the staff, everything is top tier. The limoncello is crafted in house by the bar manager and is delicious. While I can’t attest to the food, I can only imagine it is incredible as well!

The police is super nice and super modern in terms of decor look and feel. The staff are really nice and attentive and very professional to boot. The appetizers are actually quite tasty, the tomato salad is not to be missed it's actually incredible. The sushi was ok, the reported wagyu steak was mediocre at best, it was not very tender and it seemed like a power cut of meat. The bread rolls are ok, the one with the bacon was quite nice. The bill was very high for the quality of food. The decor and the staff make up for it somewhat.

We had high expectations from learning this was supposed to be one of the best restaurants in the Caribbean. During our stay we went to Tides, Champers, Lone Star, Tapas and Primo.All fine dining restaurants. We were celebrating 3 occasions this holiday, so we didn't mind splashing out on fine dining and so didn't district ourselves to cost. The place, ambience, decor, location and service was all 5 star. But unfortunately the food was not and at best 2 stars. Especially when you factor the cost as this was the most expensive restaurant we went to from all the ones mentioned. They served some complimentary entrees which includes lobster balls, salted sticks with fish mayo. All good so far. Choice of bread and butter was very good. Drinks ordered were pretty amazing, although the nin alcoholic ware not so amazing. Starters we ordered a beef tartare, Waldorf salad, and a couple of different sushis. Beef tartare was excellent. Sushi was mediocre at best. Had better sushi in UK local Japanese restaurants. There were 8 pieces so it was generous. But the taste and quality didn't elevate at all. Wasabi had no taste and was dry. No kick or fire to clean the pallet. Waldrof salad was the biggest disappointment with 4 decided small leaves and was barely even a starter! For mains we went with the beef wellington to share , lamb chops and a chicken Kiev. The beef was good and tasty, although I wouldn't say 5 stars. The lamb chops were a little disappointing and didn't have much flavour. He chicken Kiev was undercooked to one half and had to be sent back and really didn't taste of much. They were good enought to. It charge for that. But then two courses at $330 and 3 courses at $380 Bajan dollars was a lot anyway and it just didn't feel worth it. We ordered two deserts, a raspberry cheesecake and a soufflé.l with Bailey's cream. Those were excellent. They did make us feel special and and bought a little anniversary dessert too. And then something to clean the pallet. Os all in all I would have given this place a 3.5 star at best overall. I think if they get the food right with a top chef then this place could be something special.

Everything about this restaurant was 10/10 , a little on the pricy side but worth every penny. Had a lovely meal with my partner and we received exceptional service. The sushi is definitely highly recommended by us.

Ambiance was amazing but the food and pricing do not make sense. When making the reservation I asked if they did a la carte and they confirmed they did. Probably should have reconfirmed what the prices on the menu would be per item but assumed it wouldn’t be that bad for one cacio e Pepe, one mahi mahi and one scallops entree. Ended up paying $350 USD for one app of scallops and two entrees (one cacio e Pepe and one mahi mahi). Food was mediocre ambiance was pretty good but does not justify the odd pricing. When asked how the pricing worked the waitress told us we would be charged one 2 course menu and it would be 280 local/140 USD for the entree. So paid $140 usd for a cacio e pepe? Kind of insane.

Very cozy and purposefully designed space. The service was wonderful, our server Roland was courteous and served us well. The food was delicious, expertly done and delicious fresh nigiri and sushi.

8 of us had an amazing meal last night. There was great selection and it was all delicious. The chefs made some special vegetarian nigiri for the kids. The service was bang on point too.

The service was excellent from the moment my husband and I arrived. The food came VERY quickly and the taste was heavenly! Even the presentation of the food was almost to pretty to eat. I don't have a single negative thing to say about this experience. They only added the cherry to top off a fantastic 30th birthday for me! I will most definitely be returning here!

A great venue with an expensive but cosy feel. The service was friendly but in my opinion could be better. 4 of us were sat on the first floor close to the chefs working the Sushi bar - which was fun to watch. We arrived early (around 18:00hrs) as we were still lagging with UK time difference and the restaurant was empty upstairs. In general the food was VERY delicious with a few exceptions - for me the Ceviche starter was tasteless, which was a real shame as I had some great expectations of this dish based on the menu write-up and the description given by the waitress when requested... and this is the thing. It would have been really good if the waitress had taken a little longer to explain the dishes we were interested in, in a little more detail - especially as we were the only occupied table on the floor at the time. Another example was the Dim Sum basket; we had no idea it was coming with a little bit of everything from dumplings to Bao buns which was fantastic, and again very tasty and the experience could have been enhanced with a simple elaboration on the dish by the waitress at the time. We also ordered the Child Beef, Dynamite Spider Roll, Thai Curry and a kids meal - all very delicious indeed. Along with all this scrumptious food I also ordered a carafe of Diamond Sake and asked to have it served warm - it arrived close to boiling and when I picked it up to pour I had to drop it as it was too hot to handle... I asked the waitress for a napkin so I could pour the sake and explained I had dropped it (and spilt a fair amount of that liquid gold on the table) - I received my napkin along with a warning that the sake was hot! - Better late than never I guess lol. No effort was made to top-up my sake, I guess I could have asked. The Diamond Sake was actually very agreeable considering it had been boiled - I wonder what it might have been like without the over-eager preparation? For the 4 of us (3 adults, 1 kid) the total bill was $603 In summary Nishi serves up delicious food, is a great location with good customer care. It wouldn't take much to make this a 5-star venue (again, in my opinion) with a little more explanation on the dishes and a little more awareness of the customers needs/concerns. We look forward to eating there again soon.

The food is amazing everytime. Even if your not a sushi lover, I'd recommend their other menu options. They also have a live performer on Friday nights and some Saturday nights. I'm telling you she is phenomenal and makes the experience that much better!

So far the best sushi on the island. Service was great and the team there is very attentive. Food was very flavourful. I had the soup and a roll, very filling. I love desert so I took that to go. Must try, it's just so expensive.

Beautiful restaurant with a cute warm vibe! The staff is warm and welcoming; A special thank you to Shamika because she went above and beyond and that girl deserves a raise! (To me good customer service is just as important as the food quality) The food tasted fresh, they had a lot of great selections, I’m a huge fan of the Sichuan ribs it was absolutely delicious and I’m gonna come back to try more of their menu. This is definitely one of my fav restaurants in the area. Highly recommend.

Located on Bay Street, Bridgetown, The Boatyard is the ideal spot for calm waters, white sandy beaches, great food and drinks, along with activities for both kids and adults. If you are staying on the south coast, it is a straightforward drive along the coast to Bridgetown, St. Michael. It is also in close proximity to the cruise ship port making it a great spot to spend a few hours when your ship is docked. The entrance fee includes credit towards food and drinks up to a specific amount. The amenities and activities include snorkeling and rope swings but if you would rather relax, they are plenty of chairs and umbrellas available. This wasn't our first time to the Boatyard and I must say that they have definitely stepped their game up with lunch. Everything that we ordered was 5 star quality. I truly do not think that you can find better fishcakes on the island. You will also have to pay close attention to the signs on the walls - you might just giggle at some of them. Overall it was a great experience and will definitely return on our next trip to Barbados. PROS - Beautiful beaches - Great food selection and quality - Great drinks - Good value for money - Wide range of activities included in entrance fee - Short distance from the cruise ship port CONS - Parking can be dicey depending on the time of day - You may have to wait up to 45 minutes for food depending on the time of day

This is a really nice place. Delicious cocktails, affordable prices, and breathtaking water. The Boatyard Day Pass includes return tokens that you can spend at the bar and restaurant, along with beach chairs and umbrellas, a 45-minute snorkeling tour, and equipment.

The mango daiquiri was so good. I could taste it in my mind long after . My food was great too. Beautiful atmosphere. The money remaining on the ticket can’t buy you a proper meal. They should probably remove that 🤷🏽‍♀️. Loved the place though.

Great time at the boatyard. Spent the entire day with my family of 7 here. Looks like prices went up in the last few months. Atmosphere was great, friendly staff, food was pretty good, drinks were delicious. The kids had a great snorkel adventure and loved the 2 bounce trampolines. Bathrooms were clean I was on crutches and didn’t have any issues getting around.

The Boatyard really worked for us. We found it to be the most organised of the beach clubs we attended. They have towels to rent which we found useful. Great that the boat trip is available and included. Amazing to see the fish and the wreck. Deals on beer at the bar. Good restaurant with nice seating to get away from the sun if you want it. Good toilet facilities that were always being cleaned. Friendly staff and really enjoyed our day here

We went here recently after a holiday to Barbados. We went to Pebble beach at around 6 am to watch the race horses being bathed in the water and then went into Bridgetown to explore the city. Following this we went to the boatyard at around 9:30 am. For 70 Barbadian Dollars per person (around 30 GBP) we thought the price was very worthwhile considering you get 40 Barbadian dollars per person on a card to spend on food and drinks + a trip snorkelling at the shipwrecks in Carlisle Bay. the Bathrooms weren’t the best. In the men’s there was one cubicle and 2 urinals. However you don’t spend much time in them so it’s not an issue. The beach is absolutely beautiful and there were plenty of sun loungers available for all guests. The Snorkelling trip was just incredible. We went about 20-30 mins in the water looking at the fish and the wreck. 2 stingrays and a tarpon showed themselves briefly. Once we got onto the boat a turtle came right up to the guide who was still in the water at the time. The food was absolutely incredible. Coconut shrimp especially was to die for. We had such a great time there we went there twice!

We were walking along the beach, looking for a place to stop for a drink and some food, and this beach club was the last one in the bay, looking like the best option. When we tried to enter from the beach side, we were stopped by staff. We explained that we wanted to come in to eat and drink. To our surprise, the employees refused entry and immediately became aggressive, calling us "dishonest." We were completely confused and repeatedly asked for an explanation, but they only mentioned something about a "band" without elaborating. When we asked how we could enter, their only response was to rudely tell us to go to another restaurant. Only back at our hotel with internet access did we manage to find out that there is apparently an entrance fee to be paid on the street side. What a shame. We would have been happy to pay the fee and enjoy the place, but nobody explained the rules to us. Instead, the staff’s aggressive and frightening behavior ruined the experience. Management needs to train their staff on proper communication and customer service. There is no excuse for calling guests "dishonest" and being aggressive simply for not knowing an uncommunicated entry policy.

Spent very enjoyable afternoons that lead into evenings in this gem of a place. The food hits the spot. The drinks are most refreshing. The location is amazing. Kids were swimming in the bay while the adults were knocking it back making their way through the extensive array of rum cocktail concoctions on offer. Beautiful spot on the island to enjoy gazing into the far distance of the endless blue waters and catch a beautiful sunset just as more cocktails arrive at the table. The staff are a beautiful friendly bunch.

Decent bar by the beach,. Went here for a few drinks in the afternoon before making our way to dinner down the road. Nice atmosphere, lots of tables, great selection of rum cocktails. Food wasn't all that, but it's more of a drinking place than an eatery. We had some nachos and chicken wings and they were ok at best. Good vibe, and there was a wedding going on over on the beach, so a few guests were hanging at the bar.

OMG!! Perfect in every possible manner! Delicious fresh food, including the crunchy salad greens, phenomenal cocktails! The ‘heat wave’ cocktail was very popular in our group! The server actually came to our table after we ordered to ask my choice of cheese-the one and only place in Barbados that this happened! Superb, classy place. The sound of waves crashing, music and laughter… could we ask for more?

Great location on the beach and can highly recommend the rum punch or bucket of beers. The food is ok/good but meets the needs of a value option on the beach. I had the fish cakes, chicken satay, while the children had chicken and chips.

You can't beat the location, your next to the beach, and you have a great view of the Caribbean sea. Day or night, this is the main draw of this location. The actual bar is also well designed, big patio and a pretty approach. Service is good, my hostess and waitress, proactively helped me find the drinks on their online menu. The food is okay, I got fish cakes and fries, but the fish cakes were more dough than fish.

Nice. Better than 4*, so I'm adding a 5. Basic menu. Decent prices. Basic service. Spectacular location! There are several options for food and drinks around Accra Beach, and this one offers a commanding view. Wasn't any problems parking for us. The dolphin "catch" was good; the ceviche was tiny; and our kids were happy (1 chicken sandwich + 1 chicken satay).

Great place to hang out and enjoy the view while enjoying a Banks or two and some food. The place is right next to the beach and you can watch the sunset. Food and drinks reasonably priced compared to some of the other places close by.

A relaxing place to eat and enjoy the beach vibe. We stayed at the Radisson, but ate here a few times.

Very good food at reasonable price. Would give it 5 stars if there was table service. Staff were all friendly and helpfull and were clear on orders being placed at the bar. We were a group of 7 so it took one of us to gather the info to place the order. We had a variety of items and everyone was pleased with the taste and the quality of the food. I will definitely be back.

Fun beach bar located next door to the Radisson. Great roof top seating with drinks and good food. Live music was always very good. Staff were friendly and the vibe is nice. Perfect place to grab a drink if you are staying at the Radisson.

Great spot to watch the sunset. Right on beach, it's easy to get to. They also have live music on a Sunday night. The staff are also great! Would easily return.

We came here three times during our stay, twice for dinner and once for lunch. While I was a bit skeptical after my first meal, the second and third visits definitely changed my mind. The pizza here is the star of the show...the dough is spot on, with that perfect Italian Neapolitan quality. We also tried the daily special fish chowder, which was phenomenal (extra hot with lots of ingredients), and the daily catch on a Greek salad, both were excellent. The ceviche was decent, but the coconut shrimp and crab cakes were a bit disappointing. Overall, the food quality improved with each visit, and the pizza alone is worth coming back for. Glad we gave it another shot

had the most beautiful evening here at the drift ocean lounge with the most welcoming, amazing hosts- our favourite bar in Barbados so far. thank you for having us! will come back tomorrow and highly recommend to everyone visiting Barbados:) much love!!!

Very cute location by the beach, a little “classy” but casual. Food was good, we had the coconut shrimp and the truffle fries which were VERY good, we also had the fish of the day with greek salad, it wasn’t our favourite but that’s just personal opinion because it was swordfish. Also a nice place if you want to grab a drink and pizza. Atmosphere is nice, music isn’t too loud to chit chat either.

We ordered the fish, catch of the day. I’ve never had worse fish in Barbados, it lacked salt and the good ol bajan seasoning it was described as having. 3 of us ordered fish and it was all the same. We also ordered a couple of pizzas in the “wood fired” oven. They were meh. Could have had one from the freezer section and couldn’t tell the difference. It was bland and lacked salt and flavor. We had the a chicken one, but it only had a 3-4 pieces of chicken. My 15 year old daughter loved the plain cheese pizza, so yah. The drinks were pretty good though. Service was slow and had to ask for water multiple times. The view was nice, that’s the only positive. Will not give it a 2nd try.

Mixed views on scarlet, nice interior decor but the food was really slow to arrive and when it did the starter was very bland and the main was over cooked and not very refined. The rum punch had too much lime in it and was incredibly sour. Other people's dishes looked more appealing so maybe it was just a bad one off experience for me.

I always enjoy myself at scarlet. It a very relaxed environment. Tucked away form the rest of the world. The staff is really nice and make you feel as if you are shear a meal among friends. I would keep it a secret but I want them to stay in business for many years.

My last experience at Scarlet was nothing short of stellar. I was a last minute walk in, with no reservation and with about five minutes left before the kitchen closed with my fingers crossed and thinking I would probably be turned away. Naturally, because of the time. To my surprise, I was greeted warmly, given a seat at a freshly cleaned table and served an amazing dinner. I was able to order dinner, a cocktail while I waited and enjoyed my meal without feeling rushed at all. My every need was handled with a genuine smile from every staff member. Special thanks to the staff at Scarlet and the owners Stephan and Sophie Domenge for giving me a truly fantastic dining experience.

Treated like a rock star and loved it. The food was excellent. They accommodated me as a vegan with the meal and it was fabulous. Totally worth every penny.

Love the atmosphere at Scarlet - the food is very good and the martinis are the best. Friendly staff take excellent care of you and the owner is very hands on. A very busy restaurant so make sure to make advanced reservations.

Although only indoor seating is available (air conditioned, of course), this West coast restaurant is a gem! Reasonably priced, great food, and friendly and attentiveness staff. The walls are all red or mirrored, with alternating large photos of Marilyn Monroe and Jackie Kennedy Onassis. Be sure to consider the nightly specials, although if they don't tickle your fancy their mains are always constantly good. My favourite is their Pesto Chicken Pasta, with Calamari to start.

I had read a lot of good things which is why I booked here to celebrate my birthday. Its such a beautiful setting overlooking the ocean. The service was 1st class and we were made to feel very special. The food was absolutely stunning loved every bit. Such a wonderful experience. Loved it 🥰

Another amazing restaurant, where ambience, service, food and views are all what you expect for a fine dining restaurant. Had a lovely 3 course evening meal here. Pre-booked and a table on the sea front. They'd specially prepared printed menus due to our anniversary, and brought out a sparkle and cake at the end as well. Food was exquisite. Lamb shank just melted off the bone as you expect, parents were excellent. Sea bass was divine, and shrimp curry was awesome. They staff were attentive and left us alone as well, to enjoy the evening and weren't rushed. Overall a lovely evening out.

Champers is a gorgeous restaurant that truly delivers on every level. The food was amazing and absolutely lived up to the high standards I’d heard about. The staff were warm, friendly, and made the entire experience even more enjoyable. For the quality and ambiance, I also found the prices to be quite reasonable. We visited for a belated celebration, and I loved the thoughtful touch of their custom menus. It was the cutest surprise and made the evening feel extra special. The food, drinks, and service were all excellent—everything we ordered was delicious and beautifully presented, and the staff was friendly and professional. The only downside is that they get very busy, so it can be tough to get a reservation. But once you’re in, it’s a fantastic dining experience. Highly recommend planning ahead!

Champers is the "over the top" experience but completely worth it for a romantic evening while watching the sunset and sipping on cocktails. Very satisfying experience with thoughtful touches to the many dishes. Stellar service. Usually busy and need reservations early to guarantee a table. You will spend money but leave completely fulfilled.

Champers ranks in our top 5 of all time restaurant experience. We were there for our 39th wedding anniversary,and we were received with great love. Service , food ,and attention to details, was off the chart. If you are in Barbados, it is a must stop. My wife had the Salmon and I the crusted Barracuda...wow! Cannot praise or give a finer endorsement. Champers is just that good.

Wonderful, wonderful service and excellent food. I came here to celebrate the start of my doctorate. They customized the menu to have "congrats Natasha" on it. They brought me a brownie with a celebratory sparkler in it on the house. My water glass was never empty and we were waited on consistently. Of course, my food was impeccable. I took a photo (a bad one) of some salmon that was cut like butter - I never touched my knife - a half eaten photo of my cheesecake because dinner was so good I forgot about my social media posts, and my celebratory brownie. The service in Barbados is typically above average, but my experience here has raised the bar and spoilt me.

We picked this spot as one of two meals we ate away from our all inclusive resort. We were celebrating 2 anniversaries and we wanted something special without breaking the bank. The prices were reasonable. Great presentation. The food was very good. We also got there before sunset and it was spectacular watching it set. Wait staff was very polite and attentive. One of them even retrieved a tweezer and helped remove a stinger after one of us was strangely stung by a bee. It sure it’s 5 star, but feels more than 4. We would definitely go back.

This was an awesome restaurant to go. The views were amazing as we made reservations 30 minutes before arriving. Upon arrival we were greeted with such friendly staff and outdoor seating along the front edge where the ocean meets us. The perfect views for sunsets which unfortunately this evening there were too many clouds and we weren’t able to see it. The staff was kind polite and super friendly our server Keisha was awesome. We had some appetizers and then main food. Our appy’s were ok I had the salmon tartar it was too much pickled and super salty. Not a favourite. Hubby had the tuna carpaccio which was really good. Son had the crispy fried chicken breast with Mac and cheese and it was awesome. He said it was the best chicken breast he’s ever had. I had the braised beef which was incredibly amazing and so tender. The Demi glacé was amazing to say the least. Hubby had the shell fish broil and he was so happy with this dish. I would highly recommend booking in and making a point to go up and check them out. Thanks for the memories.

This is my favorite restaurant on the island! The sunset views are breathtaking, the service is wonderful, and the food is absolutely amazing. I can’t emphasize enough how much we enjoyed our experience. The coconut bread pudding is the best dessert I’ve ever had... its an absolute must try. I’m already looking forward to coming back!

Great seafood restaurant with idyllic views, serving great breakfast, lunch and dinner menus. We visited this restaurant almost every day for breakfast during our stay at Little Good Harbour. Breakfast highlights included the Lox Plate (pictured) and Everything Bagel. As for lunch/dinner, I'd particularly recommend the Catch of the Day, and Shellfish Broil (pictured). Staff are charming and attentive, with restaurant overlooking a beautiful private beach. If you're a seafood fan, book yourselves a table!

We had a fantastic meal and experience here. Our serving staff were excellent, friendly and eager to please our every need. Ian is the manager and he was extremely friendly and personable and wanted to do everything in his power to serve us. We had a great time, with great food and service.

Big fan. Food delicious. There is probably something for everyone on the menu. It isn't an extensive one though - so it is well thought through. Staff is lovely. View is as well. In all honesty, didn't love the first time I went maybe 3 or 4 years ago. Could have been covid experience, but since then, I've been back multiple times and really enjoyed it. Been once this trip and going back next week. Go for pre-dinner cocktails if you can. Have only done dinner but, apparently breakfast and lunch also fabulous. Believe Ian is the manager's name and he's great. The whole team has been warm, to be fair. Recommend!

Reasonable prices, excellent rum Punch and good food. The staff are friendly and approachable but on this day, the service was very slow. A couple nearby just got up and left; they were tired of waiting for someone to take their order.

This was a great place for dinner. The location by the beach was perfect - sound of the crashing waves mixed with the music playing was amazing. The food was well priced and portions were large! You walk in and find your own table. The atmosphere is laid back. We had the fish cakes to start and they were great! Definitely a great place to go for dinner if you’re visiting Barbados.

My sisters, mum and I have just returned to the UK. We visited Surfside and can say that we really enjoyed our visit. Initially, we thought we'd just have a drink but then decided to have dinner. The fishcakes were excellent (nearly as good as our grandma's, lol) and so was the Bajan stew. The 'Half Gallon of rum punch' was not only good value but very good too! We be back on our next visit!

Fantastic fish cakes (I've tried many here). Great fried flying fish and cocktails. A couple of the staff can't be bothered, but most were very nice. Beach chairs and umbrellas available, we loved the beach. Definitely worth it.

The laziest, most miserable, servers that I have ever encountered. I am more upset that an automatic tip of 12% was added to our bill, because they didn't deserve a penny. It was ashame, because the food was quite tasty.

Beautiful place for drinks and food at sunset.

This boutique hotel has within it a beautiful and rustic Spanish style restaurant. This of the staff was very efficient and super quick ( 8mins) within ordering. I had a shrimp salad that was very yummy and left me just replete. I also had a cream drizzled carrot cake that was super tasty. This restaurant offers super view of the beach nearby and is comfortably cooled by the offshore breezes.

We booked dinner here for 17:30 so we could see the sunset. All the food was excellent and so were the drinks. The service was very professional, but still friendly. The location is superb and so are the views. The prices are quite high, but everything was excellent so I guess they're justified. Make sure to book at least a day in advance for dinner, especially if you're going on a weekend.

Hands down one of the best experiences I have had on the island. Was recently here on a day pass. Has a delicious breakfast and then decides to stay for dinner as well. The service was impeccable. I was overwhelmed with how well the staff treated me. The food was absolutely amazing. Definitely my best breakfast on the island so far. And the dinner overlooking the sea at sunset was my best dinner so far as well. They are really running a great place here

I ordered the Luna Benedict, and it was everything I hoped for: two perfectly poached eggs set on toasted salt bread, with golden hash brown potatoes on the side, all draped in velvety hollandaise. What made it stand out was the island twist—local smoked marlin paired with cream cheese, adding a smoky richness that elevated the whole dish. The eggs were absolute perfection, yolks spilling like liquid gold. To sip, I went for a classic virgin piña colada—creamy, refreshing, and tropical without being overly sweet. It was the perfect complement to both the food and the setting. Between the ocean views, the rustic yet inviting atmosphere, and the unforgettable flavors, Café Luna made my first meal in Barbados pretty amazing. 🌊🍳✨

Fresh amazing lobsters just by the beach. It's on the pricier side, but worth it, we came here twice. Can be busy in the evenings, booking recommended. Going for the lobster itself rather than other dishes makes sense here.

Lobster Alive is definitely my favourite restaurant on the island. The lobsters couldn’t be fresher and were grilled to perfection. The live jazz band was amazing. We had a fabulous time dining here and will certainly be back again on our next trip to Barbados!

I was finally able to visit Lobster Alive since I usually visit Barbados when it’s closed. I came in a Tuesday night when it just opened in the evening. It was quiet, but did not matter. The service was impeccable, from the front door to the waitresses to the chef asking me to pick my lobster I was fully taken care of and not hovered over. The lobster Thermidor was fabulous. Lived up to my expectations. Loved the look. Sat on the deck and took in the whole view. Loved the decor and jazz music. No one rushed me and I will definitely return.

Lobster Alive, Barbados – Lovely Beachfront Ambience Before leaving the island, I visited Lobster Alive for a solo lunch. Located on the beachfront, the light, beachy decor perfectly matched the vibe. I was warmly greeted by the front-of-house team and my waiter. In a rush, I managed to enjoy a starter, a rich pasta main, and a glass of wine. The food was nice, though I’d try the lobster next time. The calming ambience, with gentle music and stunning beach views, made it a worthwhile experience. The front-of-house team went the extra mile to help me get a cab and navigate traffic quickly to my destination. While I’d happily return, I’d also feel content if I didn’t. Worth a visit for the atmosphere!

You cannot find a better location (ON THE BEACH!) to eat the best fresh lobster in Barbados! Let them pick one for you or get up and select your own from their enormous lobster pool. You can get an average lobster or you can get a MONSTER!!!! Go for it! This place has been family owned and operated for generations and it can't be beat. The staff is great and the kitchen does it right every time! If you're in Barbados (local or visitor) and you want lobster, you must go to Lobster Alive!!!

I went twice, Very nice beachfront restaurant with an enjoyable atmosphere. A jazz band was playing swing, not my taste but they were very good musicians. The service is very attentive. Particularly, the lobster and creme brulee were delicious. Be aware, it is expensive.

Wonderful spot on the water for an authentic Barbadian meal. It is buffet style and we came at the end of the day during of season so the choices were limited. My wife had the fried marlin with rice and coleslaw, while I had the macaroni pie with rice, gravy, and coleslaw. Everything was delicious. The view is incredible, especially if you come just before sunset and watch a it goes down. The decor is delightful, most of it about the history of the place, area, and Barbados.

My wife and I had embarked on what we believed to be a simple quest for lunch in Speighstown. Instead, it turned into an cruel comedy of errors. One place was closed, the next was open “in spirit only,” and the third had staff on hand but apparently operating under a strict policy of culinary abstinence until a later, unspecified hour. Defeated but not broken, I wandered toward the first sign of life... which happened to be Fisherman’s Pub. Ironically, Google Maps had sworn the place was closed, but there it stood, doors flung open like a small act of mercy. Inside was the kind of establishment I’ve come to trust: no pretense, no tourist gloss, just locals, laughter, and the sweet perfume of frying fish. The fare was served buffet-style: hearty, honest, and priced as though kindness were still legal tender. The staff were cheerful in that unhurried way that suggests they’ve long since made peace with life’s pace. What caught my attention most were the photographs along the wall, yellowed with time and pride, showing faces and festivities from the early 80s. This was no invention for visitors; this was a place that had seen generations come and go, plates filled and emptied, stories told and retold. So while Google may claim it’s closed on Mondays, I assure you it’s very much alive. A little monument to authenticity in a world increasingly run by algorithms that don’t know the smell of a good fish stew.

This restaurant/bar is part of Speightstown's history...being around for 35+years, the owner probably has more tales to tell of Speightstown as he's seen many a transformation over the years...some good or far in between. Good food is always on display everyday of the week as it's enjoyed by both locals and tourists...a definite hangout spot as it can handle a few groups.

Next time you visit Barbados, checkout Fisherman’s Pub. Great outdoor view of the ocean with the sounds of the waves breaking against the rocks. The food was fresh and tasty..

It was my first time having lunch at the Fisherman's Pub. The service was prompt as you can visibly see and call for the food you want. The ability to have dine in or eat out are the options. My company and I chose to eat in. Payments were cash only - thank goodness we did not have our cards only! Also, food was a bit more expensive that what I would have paid for had I eaten in the Bridgetown area.

Stopped here for a few beers and some food. Beautiful location on the waterfront looking out over Speightown pier. Food was good and large portions. Buffet style menu, I had mahi-mahi and macaroni pie which I thoroughly enjoyed. Wife had chicken, rice and peas which was also good. Thoroughly recommend this place.

The food is actually very nice. However, I only gave it 3 stars because we ate during that period between lunch and changing to dinner. So some items or food were little dried out. However, when we saw all the fresh items out for dinner, and the number of local people that were going to eat, it looked fantastic. So my advice would be to visit earlier during the lunch period and earlier during the evening period for dinner, just out of the oven fresh!!

An absolute gem of a place, and so glad we had the opportunity to experience it! We had breakfast, which was great, the service was excellent, and the rum punch is definitely the best we've had, especially with the freshly grated nutmeg on top! It is so easy to find as well as easily accessible. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner too, and can see why the restaurant is as successful as it is! I wish we had more time on the island to go back and experience more of the menu, and of course drink more of their rum punch! All round, amazing! Thank you!

A local deli adjacent to Crane Beach and resort in Barbados, Cutters is a local culinary gem. I had the opportunity to eat at Cutters for Brunch and it didn't disappoint. While the menu is well rounded and has a variety of small plates and entrees, the Cutters are a standout. Made with freshly baked Bakan salt bread and filled with a filling of your choice, Cutters are a staple of the island. I had the fried flying fish cutter and it was a perfect encapsulation of the fresh seafood that is present in Barbados. In an area where it is very tempting for visitors to stay on campus at their hotels, Cutters is a great reason to venture out and enjoy the local dining scene.

The owner, Roger, is super friendly and has a lovely shop. The rum punch IS the best rum punch in Barbados, and you can but it in a gallon jug! The food is great and varied. It’s a dog-friendly restaurant area. The decor inside is really cool with a bunch of paper currency from around the world and instruments on the walls.

What a gym of a place! We had read reviews that said it was a great place for breakfast It’s a great place all around. The atmosphere is fabulous, the corks on the wall are such a cute touch. The rum punch is delicious~ complete with freshly grated nutmeg over each glass.. The breakfast burrito to die for, the omelettesbig and filling two people could absolutely share one, and the pancakes are divine. We loved visiting with LaToya, who was our waitress both times. And. we got the pleasure of watching them making their rum punch, fresh, which they also sell by the bottle. Overall, a great experience and we went back, not once but twice.

Cutters Barbados – Yes, Please! 🌴🍹 Thus far, one of the most refreshing and well-blended Rum Punches on the island—smooth, balanced, and unforgettable. The Cutters sandwich hits every time, and the fish cakes🔥 Well-seasoned, delicious, and served hot and plentiful. Everything here feels like a taste of Barbados done right. So so expensive!! Came here after hearing good reviews about the cutters. To be completely honest I just think it's very bog standard. 77bbds for a Red snapper cutter, 1 beer and a fruit juice. Majorly overpriced for what it is. Rum shops near by do good just as good food for literally half the price. If you have lots of money then this is your place. If not head to a local spot. Support the bajans 👌🏾

If you’re not very hungry and wish to eat local fish! This is a good place to visit. The service is good but it takes time for the food to arrive. Prepaid coz it’s all fresh. The French fries are fresh and made there. I will highly recommend the place but not if you’re very hungry.

We are staying at Turtle View over the road and everyday we were on the beach, we visited JuJu’s. The food is packed with flavour and good value on the island. Over our time here we had the burger and fries, shrimp platter, chicken platter, tuna sandwich, cheese sandwich and cheese and bacon sandwich. My partner especially loved the cheese and bacon and I, the shrimp platter. They also do a STRONG rum punch that will knock your socks off. Plus the milkshakes and iced coffees were a personal favourite! Thank you to Shirkeria for serving us most of the time. The staff were always accommodating helping us with tables where they could. The food was good and it’s a great place to catch sunset. I was skeptical of going there reading all the recent reviews. For perspective - the staff (mostly women) at this beach bar work hard. Please and thank you will go a long way.

This is a grass roots local venue. The meals are prepared using home style cooking techniques and tastes pretty good. Don't be thrown off by the location. The food is good and you're right on the beach with some beautiful photo opportunities at the right time. The entrance is a little obscured, it's a narrow pathway off the road.

Always good. Right on the best beach in Barbados, it's great for a sunset cocktail. Eaten here many times, all food is good, but we had the blackened Barracuda and a side of shrimp totally delicious and perfectly cooked.

Great little beach bar. Service is a bit slow but we found that most places on the island, and it’s hard to complain with your toes in the sand and a beautiful view. Drinks were tasty, fish cakes were decent, good prices. Great place to watch the sun set. It’s hard to find from the road because there’s not really a sign, but just ask a local when you see the Lone Star Restaurant and they’ll show you where the entrance is - it’s down a long narrow flight of stairs between two buildings!

Place looks like taken from a movie or a wedding. In front of the sea. Gorgeous decor and ambiance. They had a DJ with great music. The tuna tartare is the best we've ever had. We devoured it! The poke bowl also the best one likely ever. The coconut mahi mahi and the barracuda were also fantastic. Would love to go back.

Beautiful spot on a gorgeous stretch of beach! The food and drinks were great, and we really enjoyed being able to rent beach chairs and spend the day there. Unfortunately, we did run into some heavy rain during our visit, which put a bit of a damper on things. When the storm rolled in unexpectedly, the staff didn’t seem to move with much urgency and it would be great if Sea Shed had a clearer rain plan in place to help guests feel more comfortable when the weather turns. That said, the setting is absolutely stunning and has so much potential. We would definitely return to give it another try.

The Sea Shed was within walking distance of our villa and we cannot imagine coming to Barbados again and not going there multiple times! The staff are so friendly and the service excellent. We chose to sit on the sofas that are located on the beach to allow our kids to play in the sand and ocean. The setting is absolutely spectacular and the food was amazing. We tried a number of cocktails and dishes (fruit bread and plantain nachos, fish cakes, hamburger) but the absolute standout was the spicy fish cutter. In a month of being in Barbados I think I had 5 of them! Truly a wonderful must visit spot on the island.

What a great location on Mullins Bay. Spent the day on their sun loungers then sunset dinner in the restaurant. Great service on the beach thanks to Dimitri, a super nice guy. He looked after us well. The place has a great vibe and tasty food

My mother and I spent a wonderful week in Barbados, and Sea Shed quickly became one of our favourite spots. The cocktails and wine selection were excellent, and the food was absolutely delightful. A big thank you to all the staff who looked after us so well, and a special thank you to Stefano and Lucas, who truly made us feel special and valued!

The vibes/ atmosphere were really nice. We went there last night and got the chance to see the fire show they have every Sunday. The food was a let down sad to say. I was expecting it to be more. We ordered the tuna tarter which was the only one we liked. The other dishes we ordered were the 10oz lobster tail and it was undercooked, with no seasoning or flavour. Then we ordered the grilled market fish, this was better than the lobster but same very bland. I ordered a blueberry sour and that was so so good. I had two.

We had dinner here and all the food was excellent. The service was very friendly and great location with direct saved access to the beach. Would definitely recommend eating here.

We had to go try this place to see if it was worth it the attention was given. So for 30$ you get an umbrella and a place to sit. In this is a $25 food voucher. The first row by the front beach was open but we were placed in the end, when l asked we were told it was occupied even tho no one was there. By 3.30pm they start picking up chairs and umbrellas basically kicking us out. Still the front row was still empty. Food not much choice and very greasy 😞. Fries soaked in oil. See picture. Drink mixed nicely. This place is more for the quick sit down for people that arrive from cruisers that don't need much. A few blocks away was another place with a similar offer but much better organized.

My 'premium' experience was a complete disaster from start to finish. It began with bad customer service at reception, setting a poor tone for the day. Despite paying for premium, I then endured an unacceptable wait of over an hour while other customers, who appeared to be white, were consistently prioritized. The issues continued on the beach: I had to argue with the beach attendant just to get my chairs set up. To make matters worse, he then proceeded to assist other white individuals before completing my setup. This pattern of service, where I felt overlooked and deprioritized based on race, is deeply concerning and frankly, not cool. To top it all off, there was no coffee available at 10:30 AM, and still none by 11:30 AM, forcing me to leave the premises just to get a basic drink. This entire experience fell far short of premium and was incredibly disappointing

A Perfect Beach Day at Copacabana – Barbados Bliss! We had an amazing time at Copacabana Beach Club in Barbados! The beach was absolutely stunning — crystal-clear waters, soft sand, and vibrant blue skies on a beautiful sunny day. We even spotted turtles swimming nearby, which was such a magical touch. We paid $60 BBD for the premium beachfront oasis, which included comfy lounge chairs, umbrellas, showers, bathrooms, and towels — totally worth it! Food wasn’t included, but they offer food voucher packages, and we loved sampling the delicious local dishes from nearby food trucks. The refreshing coconuts were a highlight — sweet, ice-cold, and perfect for the heat. The vibes were amazing, and we even made a few new friends while hanging with the friendly locals. Truly an unforgettable beach day!

Great beach. Friendly wait staff. Reasonable prices on chairs umbrellas and drinks and food. Easy to walk. Only downfall is all the people asking about snorkeling and jet skies.

Drinks are fairly priced and the beach is the best on the island in my opinion. The people selling boat tours and jet ski rides can be annoying but you will likely find that at most popular beaches in Barbados.

Very friendly and attentive staff. Firstly, the bathrooms are really clean and well kept, that says a lot. Drinks are always strong 🤣 and the beach area is well kept. Grab a chair and relax. Food, if the beef tacos are on the menu... please give them a go

One of the most famous bars in Barbados if not the Caribbean! Fully stocked beachfront location and, late night eats are always available.

Leaving the high way and making your way on the west coast heading to the north there are plenty stops that the more adventurous persons can enjoy the good old Bajan way.

This is an iconic bar in Barbados for a number of reasons. First, it's a quaint watering hole known locally as a rum shop. The very essence of the rum shop experience happens within these walls. It's not a place to ask for a rum and Coke. It's the type of place to buy a bottle of rum, a bottle of Coke and do it yourself! Secondly, friendly, attentive service that couldn't be faulted. Finally, and probably most importantly to some, is the location. This rum shop sits right on the beach and if you like, you can have a seat on the picnic tables outside or on the beachfront deck, a beautiful place to watch the day go by.

Lovely bar where you come very close to locals. Their views and sunsets are famous for, located right in front of the ocean.! Enjoyed and glad we made it 👍👍

This is a great place where you will see a great sunset and enjoy a rum or beer. But this Bar offers only rum Punch and Rum pure. There not offer any Cocktails or Longdrinks. Thats typical for rumshops. Down this bar is a nice beach.

6th April 2023 Update. I had the Vegetarian Arrabbiata Pasta with a nice bottle os Rosé. The pasta sauce was delicious with a nice level of chilli heat. I can honestly say it was the best pasta sauce, that I tried, in the area. Of course I added a little extra Bajan hot sauce. 🥵 Phew! Maybe a little too much. But worth it. 1st April 2023 Had a great Quinoa salad and fries whilst overlooking the beach. Nice Banks beer to wash it down with.

Big recommendation for people staying in Barbados. Visited Skippers on two consecutive nights and the food was 10/10. First night I had the Chicken club, which I personally preferred over the fish sandwich which I had on the second night. That's not to say the fish sandwich was bad in any way, it's just my own preference. Ambience very good, always seems busy and they play some good music, sometimes with a dj. Food and drink is very reasonable for Barbados price and the portion sizes are very good. Waiters are very friendly, however we did feel we had to make ourselves known and weren't approached when entering. Despite this, Skippers deserves a 5 star review.

I come back here every time I visit Barbados. I absolutely love the vibes here, food is tasty, good Happy hour, excellent service and a killer view of the sunset. Will definitely return next time I'm in town again.

Yet again, kitchen issues in that this time, it wasn't open. The bartender was very apologetic but if you're hungry, apologies don't cut it. Don't think I have been there once this year when it hasn't had an issue. It's the beach, so atmosphere isn't much too not like. The music could have been more varied.

Picture perfect beach but facilities and service were just average. Bar area attracted a particular demographic selling their services which could be a bit intimidating and seedy. Food trucks rubbish smell with the heat was quite off putting. Good value offer for chairs and umbrella including a drink.

Along Carlisle beach you have Savvy, smack in the middle. Walk to your left (towards the Hilton) all along the beach and you come to Browns beach and pebble beach where locals gather. Walk to your right and you have Copacabana, walk further down and you come to the Boatyard beach area with a water slide and swinging ropes off the pier. Great stretch of beach. Savvy have a several pop up food stalls. All have something different to offer. We really like the loaded chicken fries from one of the vendors on your left halfway along. It's a Taco place. We also enjoyed the greek wraps from the vendor on the left before the taco place. Music playing along the side. Benches to sit in the middle and around the front bar and all round can. A good atmosphere. Drinks are expensive and if you go to one of the side local beach bars you can pick them up at a much cheaper price

A truly welcomed addition to the Barbados tourism product, Savvy is a clean and well designed beach oasis to visit on your next stop in paradise island Barbados, with loads of cuisine options to choose from in the food square, there is something to satisfy every appetite. If outdoor eating is your kind of vibe, take a seat under one of the many beach umbrella shaded picnic tables or in the cushioned elevated shaded Pavillion that is petfevtto relax in while sheltering from the hot sun and savouring one of the delicious meals.

This is a spot for a lot of tour and excursion pick ups. There are many food trucks available and you can bring your food to the beach to enjoy. Beach chairs and service also available here.

Had a great day at Savvy, we walked in with no reservation and there was no problem getting 3 sun loungers and umbrella. We did the boat trip/snorkel and saw lots of fish, turtles and a stingray, the guys on the boat were great fun and even got me to go down the slide into the water…. Something I never thought I’d do… my daughter was impressed! Loved the music whilst we were on the beach sunbathing/swimming. Great atmosphere! Highly recommend a day here!

The best beach days are the ones spent at Savvy On The Bay. You are spoiled for food choices. A wide variety of food stalls selling everything from Tacos to vegan dishes to shaved ice!!! Rent a beach chair and umbrella and just relax on the beautiful sand until you're ready to take a dip in the crystal blue water. Savvy is the best place to spend a day and it's open 24 hrs.

This place had a nice vibe to it. Beautiful aesthetics. Oddly enough one standout about this lounge was how cold it was lol, which is a good thing. Usual night spots having you leaving sweaty. Drinks were not consistently made the same, so we opted to keep it light. The music was good but a dj would have been better. At the time we arrived it was a premade mix. Overall I had a good time here and would recommend for an upscale night out.

Beautifully decorated. The atmosphere is on point. Drink prices are on the higher side. Would go back again. It’s located in an area with other entertainment options if you choose to explore.

Unfortunately my experience here was not pleasent. The bouncers profile persons by nationality and race and determine whether you will gain entry or not. It's based on the common misguided notion that visitors spend more at the establishment.

If you had enough of the pretentious restaurants and bars in Holetown that are nothing like Barbados, it's time to try this place. It's a lot like an authentic bajan rum shop, right in the middle of Holetown. A rum punch costs 10BBD, tastes great and you'll definitely feel the alcohol in it. Just buy a couple of drinks from the lady, grab a seat and enjoy the relaxed vibes, or have a chat with the locals (human or feline). The steak and other fancy food you might see in the pictures are from the place next door, not here.

Last night on the island so I had the ribeye. Juicy and delicious. Garlic mash and asparagus, both done very well. Best big girl espresso martini, too. Beautiful coffee flavor. I'll be back. Thanks for a wonderful bon voyage.

Great little Karaoke party one evening a week. Nice place to meet local and a good time. Close to other bars and eating establishments. Plenty of Taxi's available. No seating and kind of turns into a street party. So be prepared to stand around and get to know the locals!

The ONLY place in Barbados where we experienced rude service. I had sand on my shoe and used a napkin to clean the sand off my shoe. I sat the napkin on the table, and the lady server came over to scold me and tell me how disgusting it was that I sat the napkin on the table. The tables are outside where dust and dirt blows on them all day, but somehow me sitting a napkin with sand from my shoe is more disgusting than the dirt that blows onto the tables. What's disgusting is the bathrooms!! Clean them.

Great no frills bar, barmaid was very attentive and I did have to do a double-take when 4 beers came to only 16BBD, nearly 8 dollars each 100 yards up the road. Well worth dropping in if you are out and about

Staff were very friendly, the atmosphere of the place is rather spacious and tastefully decorated. We downstairs, by the seaside although I would prefer to be upstairs. The came quickly and had good flavor all around. (Starter): Salt & Pepper Shrimp / (Main): Shrimp Risotto / (Dessert): Apple Crumble w/vanilla ice cream.

Service was off the chains. I must commend them for that. From the moment we arrived . ☯️. Alfredo wasn’t all that and there was one drink that wasn’t all that. The other foods and drinks we had were wonderfully made.

We had an absolutely fabulous time at this restaurant. The food was great. The service was spectacular and the atmosphere was out of this world! Very nice little restaurant with seating upstairs downstairs and out on the boardwalk. I definitely recommend sitting upstairs so you have a great view of the ocean. The sound of the waves while you’re having dinner is fantastic. Kids portions are great, I have a recommend the Cornish hen, Fish of the Day- Barbados style, and the seafood risotto. For dessert, we recommend the tiramisu and lava cake. Everything was delicious! Our waiter was fantastic and extremely attentive. I highly recommend asking for Jaylin as your server. We enjoyed having him thoroughly.

Tapas is a lovely restaurant showcasing the beautiful seas and boardwalk of Barbados. Situated close to the boardwalk enabled a pleasant breeze and background. The food was spectacular and flavors were magnificent. I had the shrimp, calamari and fettuccine Alfredo and would highly recommend it from their diverse menu. Finally, the service was amazing and our waiter brought a pleasant atmosphere and food was served rapidly. Highly recommend!

A beautiful restaurant, with tables near the boardwalk and ocean- if you reserve in time! We sampled the calamari, Greek salad, fish pit and zucchini pasta and can happily recommend! Excellent, attentive service and reasonably priced.

From the moment we arrived, the reception staff were warm and welcoming, setting a positive tone for our visit. We were immediately greeted with a delicious rum punch, a perfect start while waiting for the group to assemble. The tour began with an engaging overview of Mount Gay's history and its significance to Barbados, showcased through a display of vintage bottles and informative panels. Our guide was knowledgeable and passionate, providing detailed explanations and emphasizing the groundbreaking fact that Mount Gay is home to the first female Rum Master in Barbados. This was a particularly fascinating detail, highlighting the distillery's progressive approach and the rich history of rum-making on the island. Following the historical introduction, a short film upstairs further illuminated the rum-making process and the island's history. Then came the tasting! We sampled four distinct rums: Silver, Eclipse, Black Barrel, and XO. Our guide expertly walked us through each one, explaining their unique characteristics and offering tips on how to best appreciate the nuances of flavor. Overall, the experience was highly enjoyable, and our tour guide was exceptional. The only slight drawback was the large group size, which made the experience feel less intimate compared to other rum tours we've taken on the island. However, the quality of the information, the delicious rum, and the welcoming atmosphere made it a worthwhile visit. We'd definitely recommend it for anyone interested in learning more about Mount Gay and the rich history of Barbadian rum, including the impressive story of their pioneering female Rum Master.

I quite liked it and the tour guide had a wealth of knowledge. My only gripe was that he talked a little bit too fast, but that is just me being picky. There was a six minute video on how rum was made, in between the talks, and the best was left till last - the rum tasting😋 Let's just say my head was spinning at the end. Very interesting and entertaining tour! Allow 2.5 hours and be sure to wear a shirt that covers your shoulders and closed toe shoes. Buy your tickets in advance online and have your taxi pick up prearranged. RJ was very knowledgeable and fun - definitely a must do!

My tour at the Mount Gay distillery in St. Lucy was a very informative and fun time. The tour guide Akil was knowledgeable and engaging which made the tour very good. The rum tasting at the end of tour was also good.

Run to Mount Gay Rum Everyone was fantastic. We arrived early, and they allowed us to join an earlier tour. They have cool water and the free included drink is amazingly refreshing. Tour guide was interactive, informative, and funny.

We had a fantastic visit to the Mount Gay Rum Visitor Centre in Barbados. From start to finish, it was a well-run, enjoyable experience, and the rum was excellent—but what really made it special was our host, Larissa. She was knowledgeable, engaging, and had a great sense of humor, making the whole tour both fun and informative. You could tell she was passionate about the history and craft behind Mount Gay, and she made sure everyone felt involved. The tasting session was a real highlight, with plenty of great insights into the different rums and how they’re made. The setting was relaxed and welcoming, and the whole experience felt authentic rather than overly commercial. If you’re in Barbados and even remotely interested in rum, this is well worth a visit

Wow, wow, wow, we absolutely loved it. We only booked 2 days before and had a lovely table 2nd row to the sea. The ambience of the place was great and excellent service throughout, all done naturally and with a smile. We had the tasting menu and it was absolutely delicious. It was simply presented and packed a punch on flavour. Every course was outstanding, so many different flavours with each of the fish courses and the beef was so tender. We had 2 glasses of white and 2 glasses of red and 1 dessert wine and the bill including service charge was BBD635 or £240 which was incredible value. Best meal of the holiday by far.

My dining experience at Paul Owens was lovely...a second visit after five years was due after reading it's reviews and recent hype since the rebranding of the menu and upgrades of the interior I decided to give it a go for my birthday. The food was delicious...especially the beetroot salad and the mille-feuille dessert so delectable, service attentive and timings of food to table was excellent and well paced for quite a busy restaurant. It's oceanside setting makes for an intimate and romantic dinner reservation, with white table linens and decor all set for a fine dining experience. However the menu is quite expensive and not a big difference in options you can get on the west coast at a lower price point. But I do see the comparison between the Cliff and Tides restaurants with its connections to them, so in summary I'll definitely recommend this restaurant if only for an occasional splurge.

We had the tasting Menu which was 7 courses a lot of fish and a meat course to end. Everything was delicious pricey but worth it for a special night! Location fab next to the ocean. Staff were very attentive. Great night and food. Many thanks for looking after us both so well

Beautiful restaurant. Very stylish. Damien the waiter was excellent. Food was pricey but I would give it 4 stars...very good but not amazing. The restaurant and setting bt the beach is what you enjoy more. Cocktails ..again over price for a tiny amount. Had a bottle of Tomasso..you can't go wrong with that . I will return for sure .

A very nice dinner experience. Hubby and I went for our anniversary and we did the tasting menu. Flavours were tantalising! I recommend the scallops and the shrimp curry: 10/10! Staff was very friendly offering to take our pictures before and after meals. No wait time between meals. Only tiny downside was there was a minor leakage from the overhead canopy when the rain fell. Staff quickly moved our table to make us more comfortable. I did note the canopy looked a bit aged in places - maybe can be upgraded? But overall we thoroughly enjoyed!

We had the tasting menu and agree that it was the best meal we have ever had. To experience some many dishes that were unique and delicious…the food was like art. The service was exceptional. Attentive but not fussy. We loved the experience. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

The atmosphere was relaxed and service was friendly, without being over the top. We arrived a little early and the server seated us straight away and offered us the happy hour cocktail menu even though there was only a few minutes left in happy hour! The location is gorgeous and you can hear the waves crashing as you eat. We had the blackened catch of the day and the fish and chips. Both were delicious.

This was a great experience - expensive. The food was good to great, depending on the dish. I got the catch of the day, king fish, and it was cooked to perfection. My wife got the ribs, they were very smoky - if you like that. My wig thought the pina colada was top tier. My kids were less impressed. They liked the food, but didn’t love it - nor finish it.

Back again for a delicious evening. Pleasant evenings dining here. Excellent location open air overlooking the sea at the gap. And when the rain started to fall staff quick released the canopy to cover the area. Food and wine was pretty good here but there was no break between the first and second courses! Literally one after the other. Also on arrival the bottom floor of the restaurant was completely empty and the sign on the reception was turned around so there was no indication it was first floor dialling only! Set menu option. Staff were polite and attentive.

Really friendly and hospitable staff. Always checking to see if you needed anything. The food was nice and the setting was incredible being a waterfront restaurant. Really enjoyed dining here. Was so so quiet which we couldn’t quite understand as it is a lovely restaurant and we would have thought would be more busy!

Our booking coincided with happy hour which was a good bonus. From entering to leaving the restaurant staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. The food was amazing. Fish cakes- best ever., well presented and the sauce was Devine. Cheeky wee garlic veg dish for a starter for the vegetarian. The blackened fish wow, 2 large chunky pieces of well seasoned and cooked fish, rested on top of the most perfect mash with veg and curry sauce around the plate. The pasta was of a large portion and delicious. Too full for dessert but coffee was lovely. The views were excellent. The Pinot Grigio was that good we had 3 glasses each. Highly recommended.

I had hoped for a beachfront table, but it seems you need a reservation for that. Regardless, the waiter and waitress were both attentive and efficient. I really enjoyed the Montes Pinot Noir from Argentina — smooth and perfectly paired with the evening. 🍷

This was our 4th restaurant for dinner on our vacation and it was THE BEST. We met Omar at the door, we didn’t have a reservation but he took amazing care of us and we sat upstairs on the balcony. The service he provided was amazing from start to finish. The rest of the staff was equally kind and helpful. If you have only 1 night to eat out, CK is the place you want to go! Trust me. Tell Omar, I sent you. 💕

Location is great for sitting outside and people watching,but if it rains you're in trouble i had 2 pineapple juices and chicken pasta...service was great but the menu is limited and no garlic bread on the pasta...would i go again....nope

Yesterday we had dinner at this restaurant that was recommended by the hotel since we had visited other restaurants. Upon arrival we were assigned to the rooftop and were served by a waiter named Omar who was a bit rude and I felt he was a bit biased and somewhat discriminatory. He gave us such a grotesque welcome, rushing us and forcing us to order everything at once when we hadn't even looked at the menu. The table they gave us was not in good condition. I asked him to please change it and he said he couldn't, to which I told him that I would leave because I wouldn't be able to eat like that. He then proceeded to fix it. His attitude was so pedantic that all I wanted to do was leave but I didn't because it was my sister's birthday. He didn't throw water on the table without asking permission. His treatment was in very bad taste. Then we decided to ignore him. Every time I asked something he answered me in a bad way and pretended he didn't understand or hear something. The food was delicious... Then he told us that the kitchen closed at 9 pm when no one told us that. I made the reservation, no one warned me and we made the reservation at 8:30. If it weren't for the food, which was delicious, I would have given them one star. At the end of the night, when "Omar," that's the waiter's name, was ready and happy to leave, he approached us and we spoke to him very kindly, but his treatment of us was horrible. Only because him I gave 2 starts

CK did not disappoint! The food was excellent, delicious mouth-watering goodness. I especially enjoyed the breadfruit appetizer and the seafood curry. The braised oxtail starter and the pulled pork with bajan bakes were also very yummy. The cocktails 🍸were next level. I'll definitely be back.

This was a good experience, the restaurant is very open, and I felt very comfortable throughout the meal. The view can be good depending on what seat you get. The food was good. The burger was huge! I could finish it, but I recommend it. My boy liked his ribs - polished clean off the bone, and my wife enjoyed her catch of the day. The price of ok. Parking is limited.

very nice location! We sat right on the edge with the ocean to our side (con: was kind of toasty, sun was right on us) the food came quickly and I was impressed with the quality and tastiness!! I thoroughly enjoyed my meal here :)) I got the avocado toast with smoked salmon and every addition was well seasoned and prepared (the lil tomatoes were really good!!) my partner got the steak and eggs (well seasoned and nicely cooked steak!) and we got french toast to share (maybe a little over ambitious with the room in my stomach) but wow, I will be back here again

This was the best breakfast we had in Barbados (including Cafe Luna)! We were lucky enough to get one of the two tables on the outside patio above the surf on our first visit, but our second visit not on the patio was still well worth it. First off, the coffee is both excellent and hot (lukewarm coffee is a pet peeve of mine). I had the avocado toast which was sumptuous, and my partner had the excellent breakfast flatbread. The portions are ample so come with an appetite!

One of the best views around! Our table was very one of the two tables on the balcony and they are literally on the ocean, if you could jump you would fall in the water lol Great food (we went for breakfast), good service as well! A must go place if you are in Barbados

This place is absolutely amazing! The view, plus the great food you can’t go wrong. They serve the best Rum punch in the city!!!

Lovely breakfast the morning after we landed. Got a table for four quickly enough. Service was relatively fast (by Bajan standards!!). We had the chicken, waffles and syrup - unusual combination for me. It was nicely seasoned, cooked and the portions were satisfactory. The omelette and benny eggs were good. Fishcakes are not what we expect them to be- the person who ordered it was happy with the choice. Smoked fish was unremarkable. Cappuccinos to round off. They obligingly split bill of you ask them

We had a friendly welcome and were served a lovely hot coffee and some ice cold water straight away. As we arrived early (our first morning from the UK so not quite on Bajan time) we managed to get one of the little balcony tables which was great at the view is amazing. We received such attentive and friendly service throughout. The breakfast was tasty and filing. The prices were reasonable and it had a lovely atmosphere. What a great place to stop for breakfast!!

This place was recommended by my Bajan friend. The service was not good. We placed our order and waited for about 40 mins no food, called the waiter over and he claimed there was a mix up. Offered us drinks to make up. Waited another 15mins they brought out only my burger and a fish appetizer, we did not order. . I thought they give my husband this to make up for the bad service. We waited some more and I then asked to speak to the manager. She apologized and offered us two drinks. I was almost finished eating my burger before my husband's fish dinner was brought out. The food was bland. I did not enjoy my burger and my husband's fish was not seasoned, it was not tasty. Our dinner date was not what we expected, I was very disappointed. Maybe it was just a bad night for service, but when you are on vacation you don't need to be stressed.

Took my daughter here for her birthday and it was not good. They were only 3 servers, who were obviously very busy So we had to sit and wait a while to be served and then had to sit and wait for the food to arrive for a long time. The outside seating area is not nice, its too dark and Bushy. No music to help with the atmosphere, so it was just dry and boring. We ordered wings which were like 3 or 4 small pieces cut up smh.

When we arrived we were advised that quite a few items on the menu were not available. We decided to go for the steak and it was very tasty indeed. The chips were exceptional (surprisingly). The soup starter and desert that we wanted were not available. The young waitress was very attentive. We very much enjoyed our meal.

We arrived for an early dinner when no one else was in the restaurant or bar. Word of caution... you enter through the side door. Initially, we thought the place was closed when we saw the lock on the front gate. We were welcomed by a friendly staff and an adorable cat named Jerry! (See pictures) Our server helped us by recommending local beer and menu selections. I had seen a yummy picture of pasta on Google and went to this restaurant with the intention to get the same dish. Found on the menu, I ordered penne pasta with all the vegetables and creamy pesto sauce. To my surprise, there were no mushrooms or corn in my dish even though I had seen them in the picture, on the menu and had ordered them. Despite that, the pasta was good and hit the spot for a weary traveler. My husband ordered a Tuna Wrap but was told it was made with canned tuna so changed his order to the Fish Wrap instead. He proclaimed after one bite that it was 85% lettuce. Not super satisfying. The fries that came with the wrap, however, were seasoned well and pretty outstanding. Considering the friendly service and cute cat, we were happy with our experience.

On Wednesday night the place to be. Really good atmosphere, good food and fantastic live music.

I visited Mojos Wednesday evening to watch the live band. The bar service is very poor as I believe is an every week occurrence, No one seems to know what they are doing and waiting time for a drink is shameful. Too many staff wondering around doing nothing tables on the outside not cleared. Clearly this place is a great venue that needs a good leader. Until that time I would not return as many other people there indicated the same. Sad as the band was fantastic.

I will start off and say that the food was very good. We ordered our drinks and put our order in at the same time. Drinks came in a reasonale time frame. When our Meal came it was in take out containers. They apologized for the mix up. Come on!!!!! The meal should never in a 100 years be presented in TAKE OUT CONTAINERS. Who allows this to happen. Really disappointed. Been coming there for over 10 years. But it is my Last time. It took an experience like that to lose my business. It effected the overall experience for me to vent my dissatisfaction.

We had a lovely evening here. We had a couple of drinks in the bar and listened to some really cool music. The ambience of the bar area is lovely. We then went upstairs to our table, which was equally as nice and ordered a salad to share for a starter and for the first time ever, the kitchen shared the salad on 2 plates which was a really nice touch. We then had the catch of the day and belly pork, bith lovely. The risotto that came with the pork was outstanding. For dessert we had the chocolate pot which was also delicious. The service was excellent and when we left, it was a lovely touch for them to say goodbye and my name. We loved it so much we have booked again for Saturday.

We had such a wonderful evening at The Muse two nights ago. Our table was upstairs and it felt like our own little dining room. Live music all night two talented ladies singing downstairs. All the food was absolutely beautiful great size portions so delicious thank you to the chef. Great drink selection and all cocktails ordered just perfect. Will definitely be back can’t recommend enough and really great price point.

Really great dinner, some of the best food I’ve ever had. Appetizer soup was great, the jerk pork main for my wife and I had the chicken caper meal which is some of the best food I’ve ever had in a restaurant. Finished off with chocolate mousse for dessert. Decor is nice, service was great. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in Barbados.

We had an absolutely fantastic time here! From the ambience and the brilliant cocktails, to the exceptional food, and then the top notch service from an amazing team, we'd thoroughly recommend you to come here! And to top it off, we had a unique dish crafted by Larry which was totally brilliant! Thank you for looking after us and making us feel so welcome... we'll be back for sure!

We didn't have dinner here, just drinks. But the atmosphere was incredibly nice, lovely staff and very clean. They have a piano player and it feels very homely and welcoming. I would definitely go back for dinner to see how the food is

Went here for a birthday. Lovely atmosphere and service. Food was delicious, although small portions, it was worth it.

The atmosphere here is cool, but I prefer beaches with literally white sand, and this was like yellowish color sand beach and Barbados is full of white sand beaches. It's just a matter of taste. I just sat in the bar. Otherwise, it's a pretty place without doubt.

For me this was the best beach as far as water. No sea weed, minimal rocks, lovely water temperature, restaurant with restrooms nearby. Finding a car parking is a bit of a challenge. The sand part is small and narrow but still enough for your towel.

We fell in love with this beach. Lovely but not too busy. Has a range of great restaurants and bars. Watersports. Recommend Adrian's corner.

Large stones in the water. Rude and not friendly people, unless you are at Sea shed or the private club. I will not be back. There are way better beaches on the island than this place. It is also crowded for the amount of beach it has.

Not our vibe, it was crowded, and we were there in the off season. Lots of jet skis and boats in the water.

First time on this beach and to be fair not my favourite.No food hut, just crisps and drinks. Very stoney getting in and out of the sea which is uncomfortable. 2 beds and brolly $40BD which is more than Rockley & beaches near the gap. Water sports look good if that’s what you’re looking for but quite crowded with beds. Don’t think I’ll be back to this one, but many to choose from

Breakfast visit. Was quiet as we we got there not long after they opened. Quick service, great food and good pricing.

Service is 12.5% but every bill the prices kept changing and the staff kept adding additional tips on top of up to 22% without telling you or asking, was happening to both locals and tourists. The card machines don’t show the totals when you pay so tourists beware!!!! Staff aren’t friendly, loads of nicer places to try instead. This bar definitely doesn’t represent the local area!!!!!! Screen options are great tbf, but, they mainly show U.K. football.

Enjoyed my breakfast pancakes were amazing.

Great place to watch sports if your looking for games. They were able to put any games we asked for on the tvs. The food is above average for a sports bar. I tried the fried shrimp and then the roasted half chicken with a Caesar salad and grilled shrimp. My friends food all looked decent as well. If there's a Gane you want to catch while on vacation this seems like the spot to be at. Drinks were nice and strong as well.

A family family sports bar that serves hot fresh food! My fish was lovely fresh with a crispy battery, fries were hot too. There are enough sports screens to amuse every one. The prices were quite reasonable which means we shall definitely be going back.

We went to watch a baseball game and everything was just ok. It was a quiet night so I’m sure if it were busier we would have enjoyed everything a bit more. They had many screens so you were able to watch different events on tv.

We went for lunch here. It's a good little beach bar with a great view over the sea and has access to a small sandy beach also. The service was prompt and attentive and the food was well cooked and tsaty. Worth a visit if you're in Speightstown.

I loved it here. I didn't have food just drinks and I was able to take in the live band. It was magical.

Food was amazing. Catch of the day was Barracuda. Perfectly cooked. We've been all over the island and it was by far the best lunch we had in 2 weeks. Kids ate fries and burgers. Fries was also perfect. Nice little beach with a shower to wash off and great little bar with ice cold beers. Best place we've gone to since being here with the kids.

This little spot is tucked away in an old northern town on the island. Very casual and rustic atmosphere, this beach bar offers really tasty dishes that is authentic to the culture of Bajan cuisine.

A nice hideway and chillspot perfect for a casual lunch. The service from Tonya was wonderful. Saturdays and Sundays around 6pm live music to dance the night away. Would definitely recommend, simply vibes!

Perfect location. The terrace overlooks the beach breaking waves, sometimes with a splash during the high tide. Pleasant music that goes with the beach vibe. Small local pub menu with casual dishes. The food is cooked on the grill with some fried dishes available. Local flavor and spices.

This place is located on the west coast. I recommend that u arrive early before the band starts to make sure u get a table. This place also has the perfect spot to watch a sunset. Food is delicious, service is amazing

A beautiful beach. Nice sand and places to sit if that's your thing. Some days there is more seaweed than others but that just depends on the current at the time. Highlight of this beach for me is the snorkling. There are so many species of fish of the reef and turtles most days once you know where to look. As with anything though on the reef and in the ocean, please remember to not touch them. I saw people walking over the reef during my stay. Just because it is shallow enough to doesn't mean you should.

One of the most beautiful beaches in Barbados. The sand is very soft and white and the water is crystal clear and shallow. There are big waves almost all the time so it’s great for fun times but I wouldn’t recommend it for small children.

A nice little beach with easy access through some open resorts. Not great for shelling, but more than at other beaches.

There's one part of the beach you'll never get bored in the ocean. The waves are great. I was here in January and it was just perfect. The colors all day. Beautiful place. Not very crowded. Too bad some tourists thinking it's normal to leave their beer bottles behind.

Worthing Beach is beautiful. Great waves to play in, lots of turtles, quiet, and the view of the sunset is breathtaking.

Lovely beach, although beach beds a bit random, a bit scruffy. Two little bars, about a pound per beer if you buy 4. Shallow chest high bay, warm water, turtles swim there! Easy walk from The Gap.

This is indeed my happy place. I met a couple who rescued about a dozen baby turtles while I was there. The people are authentic and super friendly.

There was so much stuff in here and they had the t-shirts I needed so that was great. But they had a lot of things that were neat. Small.store but nice for the area and people around. I definitely recommend it!

A bit pricey but they have a wide variety of souvenirs (mugs, stuffed toys, t-shirts, bottles, candles, trays, coasters, etc.) and designs, all of which are very pretty.

Lovely shop with some beautiful local artists work, good selection of different items, I bought a beach bag with a turtle on it, a stunning glass dish with palm trees and a t shirt.

Very busy among all of the shops in this small shopping center since it has very nice tasteful items for gifts. Friendly courteous employees and decent pricing .

More pricey than previous visit

I’ve been to this establishment before, when they didn’t serve food. The decor is pleasant. I think they should consider a smoking area so that when you are eating outside other patrons aren’t spoiling your enjoyment of your food. I ordered the jerk fish which states it comes with one starch, two festivals and a side salad. My food arrived and I had to ask for the festivals and salad. The waitress shrugged her shoulders and told me to ask a man behind the bar 🤷🏽‍♀️.... he looked at me surprised and said he would go to the kitchen. After I was three quarters through my meal the festivals and salad arrived. I was told It was late because the festivals were being fried. Surely all the food should arrive at the same time, just asking a question? Despite this, in my opinion, the food was tasty and hot. The meal was also a reasonable price.

I went here for the food and was very disappointed. The fish and chicken were dry, needed a bit more jerk spice. The menu states you can ask the level of spice you want but the waitress didn't ask us the spice level. A review further down mentioned the fish being dolphin but I asked and they said mahi. What came on my plate was a very dry mahi but it definitely wasn't dolphin. I think this place is a lot better for drinks and relaxing. The decor is nice and maybe the night life here would be better than the food.

Good times at this local bar on a Saturday night! DJ played a variety of dancehall, soca, reggae, and top 40 hits and as the night went on the dance floor was packed... $10BBD cover charge and drinks were reasonably priced; took quite a while to get drinks though.

The live music was great. Getting drinks was a bit slow but this was probably due to the amount of people present. BAE staff could have been a bit more polite. But other than that the atmosphere was awesome.

A bar/ night club located in the popular St. Lawrence gap it is the only place that is banging in the gap. Catering to a young crowd. Admission sometimes is free other times $10us. Drinks are usually reasonable priced with drink specials. No vip or bottle service it isn't an upscale club.

Not much to be said. Great party no matter what night you go. 2 for 1 rum. Live music has great acoustics and party after is great. Lots of people.

The best nightclub in St Lawrence Gap! Incredible local dancers, banging tunes on the dancefloor, great live music, and a mixed crowd so everyone feels welcome :)

A nice place for breakfast, especially on Saturday mornings when EPL is on. The food comes quickly and you can choose between the regular menu or breakfast menu. The staff is helpful even though it's less of them on mornings and the food is good

Waiter told us straight up! You gonna have to wait 45 mins for your food. Seeing that it was Father's day and we didn't make a reservation here or any other places, it wasn't up for debate... the menu was not the best thought in terms of organisation but we managed to find out way around...they have non acholic drink .....it's just that there is no menu for it. When the food did arrive though, it tasted quite nice. I'll have to try the burgers some time. Pros Good temperature, rustic feel, good food,good price, mannerly staff Cons Wait time, menu structure

We had a wonderful time on your sunset catamaran Cruise last week! It was super cool snorkeling above a shipwreck with fish and sea turtles all around. It was probably my favorite part of our whole trip! The dinner buffet was tasty, the music was pumping and the drinks were flowing. Everyone on the trip was having a wonderful time. Watching the sun go down in the distance, getting a little sightseeing in along the coastline and the crew were fantastic. It was one of the best decisions we made for an excursion on our trip. I would certainly recommend everyone to either do the daytime trip, but especially the sunset cruise.

Great time in this cruise! Your staff is remarkable and extremely entertaining. They did a great job with everything from the snorkeling to the delicious lunch. Unfortunately the ocean was too rough for one snorkel stop and the shipwreck and although we were disappointed, we still had a great time. We didn’t see any turtles until the end of the cruise when they went after the lettuce from the salad! We got a great video of Mr Turtle coming up and eating!

My best friend and I had a wonderful time on Tiami last Wednesday. Everyone was so helpful and kind and really made you feel welcomed. Snorkelling was amazing and seeing all of the beautiful fish above the Bajan Queen was a memory I will never forget. We didn’t see too many turtles but just swimming in the turquoise waters was pleasure enough. It was fun sailing to the west coast and, again, swimming in the open, blue waters is such a fantastic feeling. Lunch was delicious and the drinks were flowing. By the time we got back to port, everyone knew each-other’s name and had made plans for the following evening. So much fun. Thank you to everyone.

Absolutely the best day we spent in Barbados! The weather was perfect, the food excellent, the crew were great. The music and The Entertainer, Mr. Shaquan Ward started the best dance party ever! The only problem was it ended too soon; instead of five hours it should be 8!

Very nice experience , all the staff was great and good at entertaining, they always check on you and really take care of you during the excursion. I would especially like to mention Zari ( not sure if the spelling is right, he even told me but I forgot 😂 ) was so helpful with my kids by helping them swimming to the fish/turtle point . Shame we could only see one , but that’s not their fault , I guess is just luck and everyday can be a different scenario under the sea . We had a lovely lunch and plenty of drinks on the catamaran followed by a good dance all together. I would definitely recommend it , these kind of experiences are great even for family with young kids ( we are a family with 5 and 7 years old children ) and great for meeting new people . Lay back and enjoy the Caribbean vibe with this amazing experience!

My wife & I had a great time on the Tiami Sunset Cruise. The staff were great, lots of food, drink & lively music. Added pleasure, I got to swim with a turtle while snorkeling with Christopher (our guide). A great evening prior to becoming a sexagenarian (turning 60)!!!!

Wow what a day. From start to finish the Tiami experience was fantastic. The staff are brilliant and the Food & drink keep flowing. What a great day out. Mondays trip also didnt disappoint either. Such a get day out on the water.
