I had a very nice steak and salad here. French Fries are not gluten free.

I’d be shocked to find a better steakhouse than this one anywhere near it. Truly excellent service, perfectly cooked meat (had many cuts and they were all equally good), and unpretentious. Don’t miss it if you’re nearby!

This is without a doubt the best steakhouse I have ever eaten at in the entire world! The owner, who was the cook when I ate there, had the reputation of being very fussy, but this paid off in spades in terms of the taste and preparation of the steak dish which I had there. The price, in comparison to other places in the area was a bit high, but was well worth paying. If you enjoy steak, you are well advised to dine here even if you may have to wait in line for a table.

The meal was simple and the atmosphere was very quiet so you could actually have a conversation with your meal partner. You were able to pick the type of steak, the quantity and how wanted it cooked. The steak was nicely done ( medium rare over an open wood fire) and seasoned with salt only; it was fabulous. The servers were attentive and not hovering.

There is a reason if this place is awarded some of the best steak restaurant by a thousand miles. The guy who does the steak has a long history and your steak will be served at the perfect temperature you ask for. 10 tables with fire in the middle of the small rounded hall. Good wine list. Not to be missed.

An outstanding steak and a wonderful experience. The owner, Jeremy, treats everyone like a guest in his home. A member of our party lost her cell phone, and Jeremy went out of his way to aid her. He made multiple phone calls until he had tracked it down in the Uber we had taken out there. The food was delicious, and the experience was even better.

We had the worst female waiter , she confuse orders and took forever to serve us. She was checking her phone when I asked her about having a menu . She was awful.

A large airy dining area with lots of germanic touches that had only a few tables occupied when we visited. Tables are well set apart from each other. There are a wide variety of dishes available, both local and German. We had the Bratwurst with German Potatoes and the Roast Boar with wine sauce, both of which were really excellent. Can't really say the same about the wine selection, which was very limited and not very inspired. Our expensive Cabernet Sauvignon was frankly thin and wan. Service was professional and friendly enough but not exactly warm. We were brought a dessert which we hadn't ordered but which we thought was complimentary. However, it was served to us by mistake, but they still charged us for it, which I thought was a little cheeky since it was their mistake.

The food and service was excellent. The atmosphere is fine dining in a large open space with a lot of separation between the tables. Extensive menu. I went for the German specialties but the fresh salmon with bacon and mushrooms got my attention. Excellent experience.

Already reviewed on trip advisor but basically got uncooked salmon, complained and nothing was done about it. Very poor.

The Club Alemán is no longer in German ownership but its standards have been well maintained. It is still the classiest restaurant in Puerto Montt, a town not renowned for its gourmet cooking. The goulash (made with pork) was exquisite and a welcome change to the local fare. Superb service. The prices probably exclude the tourist on a limited budget but are nevertheless quite reasonable for a treat.

Good sweet-sour pork, prices a bit on the high side, but bearable. Not a bad option for dinner. Quick and attentive service. Comfortable and cozy ambiance.

Well the attention was great for some waitress but I was just about to go because one of them told the table was reserved and I was already sitting there. 6 years ago I gave the following review: "Good food, good prices" Went the other day and wow! it has changed. Prices are outrageous high, everything is 'a la carte'. They think they are a 5 star steakhouse and it is extremely basic and not that good food. For example: they charge 12.900 for "Lomo" then charge another 3.800 for fries and egg, add tip and you are paying more than $20.00 for a not so good piece of meat with fries! Will not go back!!

Simply amazing. The staff is respectful and nice, the food is incredible and they always have some music videos, a good game to watch or good music. Been coming for years and bringing every guests I can to this little piece of heavenly food in the heart of the south. I just love it!

Okay so the pictures on the reviews are of the old location in Puerto Varas. The restaurant has moved to Puerto Montt. There appeared to be street parking, but we parked at an underground garage by the water. The walk up from the car was pretty steep. The food and service however were awesome!

Fabulous little gem hidden on a backstreet a few blocks up from the port. The waiters are really great, and I love the decor. I saw a license from Alaska as soon as I walked in the door, reminding me of home. The ceiling is covered in national flags from a dozen countries. Canada is balanced out politically with a flag from Quebec! 🇨🇦

Nice small restaurant with a daily menu and a nice view. When we were there, they had 3 options each for starter, main and dessert. Except for dessert, there were no vegetarian options. The mussel soup was exceptional, the pasta was good.

Come here for excellent local ingredients and a simple but very tasty menu. Be prepared to first make three choices — one appetizer, one main and one dessert — and then to eat a delicious meal. Total cost: $12000 Chilean pesos per person. We stopped in last minute with a group of 8 and we were lucky they were able to fit us in the small family restaurant. The food was amazing — definitely some of the best we had in all Chile — and filled with local ingredients cooked in fresh ways (e.g. a dessert with slices of a local melon with harina, mussels cooked in a thick sauce that perfectly balanced rich flavor with a touch of spicy heat, a hake soup, and mashed potatoes with mercuen). Our server was super friendly and patient with us as we figured out what wanted, helping us translate the Spanish language menu into something we could all understand (though we did have a couple Spanish speakers in the group, which simplified that part).

The best food you can find in Puerto Montt. The service is amazing. The Salmon and Tuna ceviche is mindblowing and the pastas so many to choose from and they are all good. The Pisco Sours are a must! Could not get enough.

We've been 3 weeks in Chile by now. And Azzurro had probably the best food on the trip so far. I had a white fish that came with a delicious sauce. And we finished the meal with tiramisu and pisco sour. Everything tasted amazing! And the people working there and the owner where really nice and helpful.

Excellent pasta, wine and cocktails; attentive staff and the proprietor was welcoming, friendly and full of good advice. An outstanding choice for a warm, cozy, brilliant meal. We had the Ceviche Azzuro, Champinones Rellenos, Ravioles de Trucha, Gnoccis Jamon Serrano, Lasagna Azzurra, and Pescado Azzurro with pisco sours and a fine carmenere, and some other mixed drinks and there wasn't a miss on the table. The restaurant is cozy and welcoming; highly recommended.

This was one of our favourite meals in South America. We were pleasantly surprised to start our meal with a very small but extremely delicious appetiser of mussels in cream sauce. Then warm bread was brought, which complimented the sauce of the mussels. On the recommendation of the staff we ordered the fish trilogy and the Parisian conger eel. Both were so good, however the eel was very very rich and would have benefited from perhaps a small layer of dauphinois potatoes on the bottom (just my opinion). We finished with a crepe Suzette to share. It was very orangey and a humble suggestion would be to serve this with some vanilla ice cream or cream to soften the sweet citrus a little bit. However overall it was one of the best meals we’ve had on our trip and we wish we could be return again in the future.

Excellently prepared and presented food. A real delight to eat here with all of the family history on the wall too. We had the seafood soup and the hake maestro. Both tasted and looked great. We would eat here every night if we lived here. Lucky Puerto Montt.

This place was one of our favourites from the Carretera Austral trip! It is a homestyle restaurant, where the seafood is utterly phenomenal. The best seafood fettuccine we have had ever, and completely devoured the starter provided by the restaurant.

Go and enjoy great food, friendly service and accommodating staff! Plate portions are generous ! All the seafood was amazingly fresh and delicious. The place has a big 70's vibe to the menu and decor. If you are around here during XMas, don't miss going in to the toilets for a seasonal experience :) love the entire mood in this place, positive ju-ju all around. A great place and might come back on return from Carretera Austral.

We have been to the Italian side of the restaurant (Napulè). We are Italians and even though the taste is a lil different the dishes were really well made and very tasty! Didn't try the pizza but it looked delicious. The pizza oven and the flavours made us feel at home. The best part was the service, the waitress Anna has been very professional, explaining every dish and answering all our questions.
