You will need to pay $100Rs to sit there (which are consumables), or you can order right away. You can stay for 3 hours. We ordered their famous fish dish, and it was okay—nothing special. It was a baked fish with some tomato-based sauce and cheese on top. For us, the place was really overpriced and not worth it. The staff was super friendly, and it was nice to access their restrooms as well as an outdoor rinse place. Overall, I don’t think the restaurant food quality matches the prices.

We had only one night in Porto and we had a hard choice between 3 restaurants recommended to us and chose Peixe na Telha. We ordered a big grilled fish (see a picture). It was the worst taste of fish I've ever eaten. I had to spit some fish back from my mouth because it tasted horrible. The vegetables were tasteless, potatoe wedges were full of fried oil. Was dissapointing especially knowing the price. The place is overrated. Waiters couldn't explain how the food was done and were telling whatever answer. Worst overall experience in the 2 weeks vacation in North East.

Was recommended the fish, which I ordered with sauce - I enjoyed it, although I felt it could have a touch less salt. That said, they did recommend the version without sauce first.
