Great view, easy to access, free parking with very quick shuttle bus to the top. Not much walking required for elderly and easy access with pram except for very top of Cristo. I went early and there was hardly anyone there but I think later on there's more of a party vibe happening and the restaurants open. Worth visiting as a tourist.

Better you book online to avoid waiting ( you will be charged same amount wether online or at the kiosk )) (+) Location in the heart of the city ( the capital ) There is service mini bus free of charge to take you between the Caudan Waterfront opposite the museum to the aquarium if you are not reaching there by car . Good for kids and there are some activities for kids (-) No guiding Not much to see , i expected to see more due to the price , the location and since we are on an island this means endless marine life variety however what i saw was basic . For me malaysian aquariam was far better . Quite small ( you can finish it in 30 mins ) Only 1 restaurent No value for money Items at the gift shop are overpriced .

There were some amazing species in the aquarium which was nice, however it’s a bit small for the animals. The penguins showed signs of stress. There were about 10 axolotls in a very small aquarium, 2 capybaras with barely any room on land or to swim. I enjoyed the bird room, they looked like they were having fun. They have a great variety of species but truly need to make some of their exhibitions larger to accommodate to the animals needs. Every other aquarium I’ve been to has had rules about speaking quietly and not tapping on the aquarium glass, but this one did not. I think it’s something that would make the experience so much better. Overall I think they have great potential to expand, just need to improve some aspects.

It’s a very nice aquarium. Small but very nice. Some of the tanks are a bit too small for the size of the fish inside, which is kind of sad. For the size of the building on the outside, I was expecting a much bigger place. We loved the bird space and the otters were adorable. They have a store in the end, and of course, everything is very expensive. We didn’t pay much to get in, but definitely spent way to much to get out!

we are International visitors from Europe who came here in July 2025, and despite the website and various forums promising at least HALF price for children between 5 and 12, my wife paid for herself and our 6 year old daughter TWO Adult tickets!! She only saw this after payment was done! This basically RUINS the entire experience, especially since the staff did not make ANY effort to speak English or at least Spanish. (Btw, the staff at the souvenir shop, ALL OF A SUDDEN, spoke fluent English, even Russian and German was spoken! So like the other reviews, this place is out TO MAKE MONEY and abuse especially unknowing tourists from outside of Brazil. AVOID!!)

Gosh there really aren't words to describe the views you get from up top of the mountain. It is "the" spot to take the mot beautiful panoramic pictures of Balnéario Camboriú. The city itself is beautiful but the views from up there are out of this world. I'm so glad I did it.

What started off as a walk from my hotel to the nearby beach quickly turn into an exploration of the area that eventually lead me hiking up this steep winding road until I reached it's peak, the 360 view was AMAZING!!

Morro do careca (bald mountain) is a perfect place for paragliding, to view beautiful landscapes including Atlantic Ocean, Praia Brava (Angry Beach) and Balneario Camboriu. If you like challenge, climb the bald mountain on foot! On the top, you have water, AÇAI (Amazing Brazilian fruit, similar to an ice cream, very refreshing). I really recommend it! Have a good one mate!

One of the few official nude beaches. The bay and beach are very beautiful and always worth a trip, however, a lot of gawkers and other folks off the main beach. But if you stay close to the campsite and the lifeguard tower you can really enjoy.

I was there in two seasons and I loved this nude beach. The sea is strong but people naked are nice.

A small but well-organized zoological park. Loved the very natural landscaping that made the tour feel like I was 'searching through the Jungle' for the rare animals. Above average were the very informative museums. I especially enjoy the Anthropology dioramic displays on the Laranjerais excavation that discovered many remains of those who originally populated the region. We bought tickets and ended up giving them away because the line wound around three sides of the building. We weren’t going to the amusement parks or connecting to beaches and didn’t have time to wait in line for two hours, for a ride up just to enjoy the view. The huge winding-switchback queue wasn’t visible until past the point of ticket purchase — not their fault that it’s popular but a little transparency about wait time would be helpful before the point of ticket sale.
