Moosi Maharani Ki Chhatri is a historical cenotaph in Alwar, built by Maharaja Vinay Singh in the 19th century to honor his wife, Moosi Maharani. The structure showcases remarkable Rajput art and architecture with detailed carvings and paintings on marble and sandstone. Visitors can explore small exhibits in the humble museum within the former palace.
Very beautiful location. This was build as a memorial for the Queen. It is located near the alwar museum. You can view the whole Alwar city from here.

Not great upkeep by the state but it's a vibrant space used by locals, playing praying feeding and making it worthwhile. As with many similar settings, there are temples and local fauna (we saw many deer from the hills and fish in the tank and camels as it's rajasthan, and stray dogs and cows being venerated). Some local temple fairs were expected to enliven the ghat road to Bala Qila and we saw preparations underway for a small carousel and giant wheel etc. I say, it's worth your time to visit.

The place is historic and architectural. The approach of the fort is good but the stairs to go up the fort is too steep. The view from the fort is scenic but the fort has nothing much to see.
Shreyan R — Google review
Good Architecture, with a background of green mountains. But not maintained at all. Even the entrance is so dirty, you may prefer to go back.
Anshika T — Google review
Good photographic place. Nothing much as such. There were too many bee hives and hence, too many bees around.. additionally the pond was not clean. It was dirty. Overall it was okish clean place. The guide asked for 200 and came to 100 rupees for the museum and mosi rani.. but didn't't provide much info.
Shweta T — Google review
It's a great place of historical significance and part of Alwar heritage however it is not well maintained. The place is filled with garbage, people can be seen littering around with plastic waste all around. The pond structure itself is full of plastic waste with algae growing up. The structure itself is located at a height and has a great skyline view of the city. I hope the Rajasthan tourism takes some steps to save this structure. And we also found a Nilgai looking for food in plastic waste during our visit.
Mukesh K — Google review
Chhatriyas are well maintained near Sagar Lake. City palace is not worthy of spending time. No cleanliness. Few government offices occupy the palace space. No proper signages.
Sunita S — Google review
It's a historical buildings made in the memory of the queen Moosi.its surrounding buildings has museum and old palace, some of the building is being used as govt. offices/departments. It has a pool also, which looks beautiful from the monument. You can see ancient temple nearby. I was amazed to see some kind of deer (nilgai) living in the vicinity.

Sights & Landmarks
Alwar City Palace, also known as Vinay Vilas Mahal, is a majestic former palace complex that serves as a landmark in the city of Alwar. Built by Raja Bakhtayar Singh in the 17th century, it now houses government offices and the City Museum on its upper floors. The museum displays a rich collection of artifacts from the royal era, including coins, arms and weapons, sculptures, paintings, and manuscripts.
The City Palace, Alwar is one of the finest heritage landmarks that beautifully showcases the grandeur of Rajput and Mughal architecture. Situated right at the foothills of the Aravalli range, the palace has a regal charm and an old-world elegance that transports you back in time. The palace complex is vast, with beautifully carved gates, marble pavilions, large courtyards, and intricate arches that reflect the craftsmanship of the bygone era. It also houses government offices specifically the District court. These carved arches, courtyards, grand entrance and marble work all reflect the charm of this place. Inside the palace, there’s a museum that houses an impressive collection of rare manuscripts, old royal armory, swords, shields, paintings, sculptures, and historical artifacts. For history lovers, the museum itself is a treasure trove that gives deep insight into the cultural richness and royal legacy of Alwar. The palace premises are peaceful and less crowded compared to many other tourist spots, which makes it easier to explore at your own pace While some parts of the palace show signs of aging and could use more maintenance, the overall experience remains enriching and memorable. After visiting the City palace, nearby spots like Sagar Lake and Moosi Maharani ki Chhatri are worth visiting together to complete the experience.

Disappointed to see... Alwar City palace instead of being beautiful and grand architecture.. encroached by various government offices, court, lawyers and other district administration offices. Very less is left for tourists with no proper maintenance... Signages ... Drinking water facilities. A fade board of museum is seen leads to the top of museum. Museum is must to watch having a vast collection of ancient historical scriptures and ammunition .

The City Palace of Alwar, also known as Vinay Vilas Mahal, stands as a testament to the region's rich history and architectural grandeur. Built by Raja Bakhtawar Singh in 1793, it's a captivating blend of Rajput and Mughal architectural styles. Here's a glimpse: Architectural Splendor: The palace showcases intricate frescoes, delicate mirror work, and elegant arches. It features a fusion of Mughal, Rajput, and European influences, evident in its ornate balconies and spacious courtyards. The Sheesh Mahal, or hall of mirrors, displays exquisite glasswork. Historical Significance: It served as the royal residence and a seat of governance. The palace houses a museum with a rich collection of artifacts, including weaponry, manuscripts, and miniature paintings. The museum also houses many historical weapons, and manuscripts from various historical era's. Present Day: Parts of the palace are now used for government offices, and the upper floors are a museum. While the palace retains its historical charm, some areas show signs of age, with wear and tear due to the constant passing of time, and the sheer size of the complex making total upkeep difficult. Despite any signs of age, the City Palace remains a significant cultural landmark, offering visitors a glimpse into the opulent lifestyle of Rajasthan's royal past.

Located within the city of Alwar, Rajasthan. It is part of a complex housing the palace, the Alwar museum and Moosi maharani ki chattri. Also.know as the Vinay Vilas Palace. Which the palace is currently being used by the Government as an office space, there is a move now to vacate the palace.and convert it into a heritage resort property. The palace was.originall built in 1793 by Raja Bhaktwar Singh. It has a.combination of both Rajasthani and Mughal themes. There are beautiful murals and paintings on the walls and ceilings which are wortb observing. The palace has 15 large and 51 small towers surrounding it and overlooks the slopes of the Aravalli.mountains. Combing the visit to the Palace with a vist to the Museum which is on the top.floor of the palace and the Moosi Maharani ki Chattri next to the palace. Paid parking is available outside the palace. Gets a bit crowded on weekends.

Alwar City Palace (Vinay Vilas) is a stunning blend of Rajput and Mughal architecture. The grand halls, beautiful courtyards, and intricate artwork make it a visual delight. A must-visit for history lovers and anyone wanting to experience the royal heritage of Alwar. The palace museum offers fascinating insights into the city’s past, and the peaceful surroundings make it perfect for a relaxed visit.

Must visit for Rajasthan lovers. Untouched original historical beauty of a Rajasthan palace, which is still not commercialized and artificialized as a Heritage Hotel
Nipanjan G — Google review
As expected, it's such a beautiful place , you won't feel visiting any palace at first as it turned into a court from the front but as you enter it , u will be amazed to see the structure, it's literally a palace than a museum , u can see the Darbar (place where the king use to sit and take the Darbar ) . I visited the museum first due to the closing timing . The fair for the museum is affordable for the common middle class too , and for the foreigners, I felt it a bit more but a place to definitely visit . The most beautiful thing was the Darbar for me as it was a big palace where u can actually see how the people of that time used to travel to the top , with different pattern of ramp , the secrets door that gonna excite u that what it could u , it's a place where u can actually feel those things . A must recommend place . 😌

The City Palace complex is very beautiful and there are plans to build a balcony along it. There is a big field behind the gate. There is Krishna temple in this ground. Just behind this is Musi Rani's Chhatri and other places of interest. In the morning, when the first rays of the sun fall on the main gate of the City Palace complex, its shade is worth seeing. Its condition is pathetic in recent times. This entire building is occupied by government offices, mainly that of the District Magistrate and the Superintendent of Alwar Police. It was built by Raja Bakhtawar Singh in 1793. Tourists cannot live without praising its beauty. There is also a museum on the top floor of this building. A fee has to be paid to visit the museum. It is divided into three halls. In the first hall, royal costumes and clay toys are kept, the main attraction of this hall is the bicycle of Maharaj Jai Singh. Every thing here is beautifully decorated. In the second hall, there are pictures of many famous kings of Central Asia. Pictures from Taimur to Aurangzeb are displayed in this hall. Munitions are displayed in the third hall. The main attraction of this hall is the swords of Akbar and Jahangir. There is a sheath here in which two swords can be kept together, this is a special sight for the tourists. Time to visit the museum is 10 am to 5 pm, closed on Friday

Bala Fort, also known as Alwar Fort, is an ancient stronghold with a masonry facade, 66 towers, and 6 large gates. It was constructed in 1550 on a hill by Hasan Khan Mewati. The fort stands over 300 meters above the ground and spans 5 kilometers from north to south and 1.6 kilometers from east to west.
We can reach Bala fort by our own car with an entry rate of 50/- and 10/- per person. The 7 km road to kila is awesome. Keep it 30 km fast on the road. No honking. No halting. No getting out of the car until you reach the fort. Beautiful fort and palace.

You can save your time and skin (from scorching heat), money, fuel if you skip this place. Someone suggested that it is more beautiful than the Alwar museum. Because of world heritage day, there were no tickets anywhere. However these people still charged for parking as well as per person cost. They strictly asked us to not carry single plastic items like Kurkure/coca cola etc as it's not allowed. When we visited the fort, they have not maintained it and chips packet were there on the stairs. Also, there is no shade in this fort. It's plain and no architecture. Simple white walls. The only good part was a temple which was good. Another good thing was the view from a corner of the fort. However, it is under construction and looking at the condition, the ceiling may fall any time.

Bala Quila or Alwar Fort is a stunning 15th-century fort nestled in the Aravalli Hills, offering breathtaking views of Alwar city. With its massive gates, Mughal-Rajput architecture, and peaceful surroundings, it’s a delight for history lovers and photographers alike. The fort itself is huge and filled with stories of Rajputana valor and Mughal influence. It is spread over a massive area of around 5 km, with six majestic gates and numerous watchtowers. The architecture reflects a blend of Rajputana strength and Mughal elegance, with beautifully carved arches, massive gateways, and strategic bastions. Walking through its ruins, you can almost imagine the tales of kings, battles, and royal life that once echoed within its walls. It's grand gates, watchtowers, and walls stand as a testament to its strategic importance in history. Though some parts are in ruins, it only adds to the feeling of stepping back in time. The fort also houses a museum with old guns, swords, and artifacts that reflect its royal past. One of the highlights is the peaceful atmosphere—you don’t find heavy crowds here like at other tourist spots, making it perfect for those who love exploring heritage in a quiet, relaxed way. If you are a history buff, nature lover, or simply someone who enjoys panoramic views, Bala Fort is a must-visit. What makes the visit truly special is the location. The drive up to the fort is through dense green forest, part of the Sariska Tiger Reserve region, making it scenic and adventurous. You could see wildlife in this area. This scenic drive through greenery adds to the charm. Once at the top, the view of Alwar city is breathtaking, especially at sunrise and sunset when the golden light spreads over the Aravalli. Tip: Carry water, wear comfortable shoes, and try visiting early in the morning or evening for the best experience. A true hidden gem of Rajasthan that deserves much more attention—if you are in or around Alwar, Bala Fort is a must-visit!
Pragya K — Google review
A small museum building with a large courtyard on the precipice, is the setting you can expect. Nothing is unusual or novel but the drive up the hill is pleasant with the sight of parts of the fort wall or some ruined structure here and there dotting along... Worth the trouble in the context of this small town with not much to see otherwise if you are on a long weekend.
K C — Google review
While the fort in itself is nice, some parts are not well-maintained, specially some ceilings and walls, and appear as if they'll disintegrate at any time. The problem, as in most places is the attitude of the ticketing staff and the security. Apparently there is a jeep safari and the cost is prohibitive for a single person. Many people do not visit, and I too was warned by well-wishers where I was staying that it would be better not to visit. However having gone all the way to Alwar, I felt that I might later regret missing this visit. There were hardly any visitors, & I was told to pay the full amount for a jeep if I was interested in going alone, or wait till more people came. I decided to wait for a while, but for at least half an hour no one turned up. Then two visitors in a private vehicle, were kind enough to accommodate me, so for ₹10 only I was fortunate enough to visit the fort and a couple of serene temples inside the complex. So unless you have your own private vehicle, visiting this place is a tedious and costly process, and requires careful planning. The fort & it's precincts are well-maintained, I didn't see any litter inside, though some do manage to sneak in some packages snacks and water bottles and throw them here and there.

While returning from Jaipur on 21st October 2025, we decided to take a detour and visit bala Quila in Alwar. It was a good distance of around 50 km from Mumbai expressway through rural area of Rajsthan. We reached at the entry gate at 3.30 pm and to our disappointment, there was a board on entry gate mentioning that approach road to the fort from entry gates was damaged somewhere (in between) so no one was allowed to visit the fort. A person standing there (looked like dalal) said that he was the ticket selling person. He said that you can't go to the fort and he offered us a Jungle safari for Rs.7400 which was a real scam type thing. Another person told us that road is damaged since last 8 months and there was no idea when it will be repaired and open for public. In sheer disappointment, we just visited moosi maharani ki chatri (5 minute drive from fort entry gate) and returned to Delhi. So anyone planning to visit Bala quila, do check first the latest update and then go there. Posting some picture of moosi maharni ki chatri.
ANIL M — Google review
Bala Quila, also known as Alwar Fort, is a massive hilltop fort overlooking the city of Alwar. The drive up the hill itself is scenic, surrounded by the Aravalli hills and greenery. Once you reach the fort, the views of the entire city and surrounding valley are absolutely breathtaking – definitely the highlight of the visit. The fort has a long history, and you can still see ancient gates, walls, and old palaces inside. However, much of the structure is in ruins and not properly maintained. Foreign visitors may find the site less polished compared to forts in Jaipur or Udaipur, but it feels raw and authentic, almost untouched. ⚠️ Practical Tips: Entry fee is minimal (₹50 / less than $1). Best to hire a local guide if you want the historical details, since there aren’t many boards with information. Carry water, wear comfortable shoes, and avoid visiting late evening as it gets deserted. You may need a permit from the Forest Office at the base (check before going).

✅Well maintained Park. ✅Best in the Town. ✅Family environment There are lots of tall trees to minimise the effect of the harsh sunrays. There are some swings for kids and other enjoyable activities in the playing area. Swings are well maintained. It makes for a lovely picnic spot with walking paths in the greenery and few eateries just outside the gates. ✅Open Air Gym for Male and Female. Totally Recommend👍

Enjoyed visiting Company Garden after two decades among the heart of the city - Alwar. Main attraction called "Shimla" is still there but with some modifications. Original fountains are not working but it's coming out from additionally fitted water pipes and nozzles all around. Pairs of Palm trees on each gate are missing. Otherwise overall garden is clean and well maintained. Ancient Lamp Posts shows the rich history of the garden. Enjoyed photography all around with a fun filled picnic.

Bhangarh Fort

Fortress
Sights & Landmarks
Bhangarh Fort is a historic complex with the remains of Hindu temples, royal palaces, and tombs. Located about 90 km from Jaipur, it is maintained by the Archaeological Survey of India and the state government. Despite its reputation as one of India's most haunted places, visitors have found it to be a well-constructed and beautifully designed fort. The interior buildings are poorly maintained in some areas, but guides are available to explain the fort's history.
A must visit place while visiting Jaipur. Bhangarh Fort is an absolutely beautiful and mesmerizing place to visit! The fort is surrounded by hills on three sides, offering stunning open views and fresh, clean air all around. The area is very neat and well-maintained. On the way to the fort, there’s an old abandoned market about 300 meters long, the ancient ruins give a glimpse into history. The path is lined with huge old banyan trees whose vines touch the ground and form new roots, which looks magical. Inside and around the fort, there are several ancient temples, monkeys, and even peacocks roaming freely. The views from the fort are breathtaking, especially in the morning or late afternoon. Some inner chambers have a strong smell because of bats hanging from the ceilings, so it’s hard to go inside. Overall, Bhangarh Fort is peaceful, scenic, and full of history. Definitely worth visiting if you love heritage and nature.
GAURAV K — Google review
Bhangarh Fort is a fascinating historical site with incredible architecture and stories that take you back in time. The fort complex is vast, with ample parking available, and local Hindi-speaking guides at the entrance make the visit more engaging with their tales of history and folklore. The entry ticket for Indian guests is very reasonable at just ₹25. While the fort’s upkeep could be better—with limited maintenance, no clean washrooms, and monkeys freely roaming around—the charm of the ruins and the atmosphere more than make up for it. A must-visit for history and heritage lovers.

★★Description★★ Bhangarh Fort, located in the Alwar district of Rajasthan, is widely known as the "Most Haunted Place in India". Constructed in the 17th century by Raja Madho Singh, the fort once stood as a thriving town with palaces, temples, and a bustling marketplace, all showcasing a blend of Rajput and Mughal architecture. However, its prosperity was short-lived, with its ruins now shrouded in chilling local legends, most famously involving a sorcerer's curse on the beautiful Princess Ratnavati and an ascetic, Guru Balu Nath, whose condition about the fort's shadow was violated. The Archaeological Survey of India has legally prohibited entry into the fort premises after sunset and before sunrise due to its infamous reputation. Despite the eerie atmosphere and desolate nature of the ruins, Bhangarh remains a significant historical site and a major attraction for thrill-seekers and paranormal enthusiasts. ★★★ After visit, I think this wonderful place is one of the best forts in Rajasthan in case of ambiance. ★ No haunted activity is there. All forts of Rajasthan are closed at 6:30 PM (Plus minus 30 minutes for sun light). Inside this fort few number of leopards are found after sunset ( Source local people and Shop owner). Entry fees 25 rupees for Indian.(Cash Payment) Online Payment 20 rupees. A must visit palce in Rajasthan.
SAIKAT M — Google review
Firstly, visit the place before sunset or reach not later than 4 in the evening because the guard will suggest doing it quickly. By the time I reached there, it was closed (5 o'clock in the evening), so I just conversed with the guards; they were very friendly, and there was a Hanuman temple at the entrance. The whole vibe was different. I was very excited to be there, and my sister was feeling low at the same time.
Chitrak T — Google review
(A must-see for history buffs and thrill-seekers alike) I'd heard the legends for years: Bhangarh, India's most haunted fort, forbidden after sunset. Naturally, my curiosity got the better of me, and I had to see it for myself during a recent trip to Rajasthan. It was an experience I won't soon forget. The Drive and Arrival: The journey itself sets the tone. As we approached the fort, the surrounding landscape became increasingly desolate. We drove past the ruins of what used to be a bustling town—crumbling havelis and empty marketplaces line the road, giving you a real sense of a lost city. It was eerily quiet, save for the occasional monkey scampering across the path. Exploring the Ruins: Once inside, the scale of the place is impressive. It's not a typical hilltop fort; instead, it's nestled in the foothills of the Aravalli range, which gives it a unique, secluded feel. I spent hours wandering through the ancient stone pathways. The architecture is a beautiful blend of Rajput and Mughal styles, with intricately carved temples like the Gopinath and Someshwar Temples still somewhat intact. The main palace is mostly in ruins, but climbing to the top offered a breathtaking panoramic view of the entire complex and the surrounding hills. It's a photographer's paradise during the day. The "Haunted" Vibe: Did I see a ghost? No. Did I feel an unusual chill or hear crying children? Also no. However, there's an undeniable heaviness to the atmosphere, a profound stillness that makes you wonder about the tragic history. The official ASI (Archaeological Survey of India) sign explicitly warning against entry after sunset and before sunrise certainly adds to the mystique, making the ghost stories feel a little more real than they might otherwise. I decided not to hire a guide, but in hindsight, I wish I had; while the ruins are impressive, a local guide's dramatic retelling of the Princess Ratnavati and the cursed tantric stories would have enhanced the experience even more. My Verdict: Bhangarh Fort is absolutely worth a visit. It's not a spooky fright-fest during the day, but a genuinely beautiful and historically fascinating archaeological site. Go for the history, the architecture, and the incredible photo opportunities. Just be sure to time your visit right – I was out of there well before the sun started to dip below the horizon!

What an adventurous trip to Bhangarh Fort! The place is full of mystery and charm. Walking through the old ruins, temples, and palaces feels like stepping back in time. The stories of it being “haunted” add an extra thrill — you actually get goosebumps exploring the silent corners! The backdrop of Aravalli hills makes it even more beautiful, and the view from the fort is just amazing. Perfect spot for history lovers, adventure seekers, and even those who enjoy a little spooky fun. Tip: Go with friends or family, carry snacks and water, and don’t forget your camera — every corner is picture-perfect!
Sitaram D — Google review
It was good to visit over there and diving into the history of Bhangarh fort. While going to the top there was a small area which was stinging too much due to the presence of bats. Good to go during October - April. Nature beauty is there and pics also come ausmn. If it is raining then do go in rubber slippers because you will confront the water coming from the nearby water falls.

Too much public now a days , so doesn’t looks like that much haunted as we felt previously 😃 over all great mythological story and a must visit place in your itinerary. Do hire a guide here it’s quite reasonable here hardly 100-200 rupee and they are the one who added some flavour to felt the ghosts 🎭 Route is quite ok and easily approachable👍

Horrible experience at Citrus cafe last night. We went there to celebrate our anniversary and it turned out a big mistake. The starters served were burnt and extremely cold. The food was tasteless and there were hardly any options in the buffet to eat. It was not worth it. I am extremely disappointed as one can never expect this from a big hotel group. I am definately not going to visit again and recommend to others.

Lip smacking delicious food and great interiors. Service is the best I've seen in Alwar. Bit costlier than your average restaurant. Cappuccino is very good. (They have CCD machine). I think 50 rs service charge is okay given their brilliant service which is missing in most restaurants in Alwar. P.s. They also have a diverse oriental (asian) menu. (Kung pao chicken etc)

Rajasthani restaurant
Vegetarian restaurant
Nestled in the heart of Alwar, Prem Pavitra Bhojnalya has been a beloved dining destination since 1957. This iconic pure vegetarian restaurant specializes in North Indian cuisine, offering a delightful array of dishes that evoke the warmth of home-cooked meals. Signature favorites include dahi bada, dal fry, matar paneer, and chana masala—each crafted without onion or garlic yet bursting with flavor.
Located near the old bus stand in the city of Alwar, Rajasthan. One of the oldest veg restarant in Alway serving some authentic rajasthani dishes as also north indian cuisines. The missi roti and phulkas in ghee were amazing. We also had Besan ke ghatte and ladhi pakoda which were delicious. We topped it with gulab jamuns. Gets crowded during peak lunch and dinner hours, though the service is fast. They have a newer outlet in Alwar which serves the same food but also ast food itemx such as pizzas, chaat etc The pricing is value for mo ey and would definetly recommend having a meal here.

I visited the original Prem Pavitra restaurant in Alwar and had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious and offered a great selection of basic yet tasty dishes. The restaurant has ample seating and is quite popular, attracting many visitors. While there is parking available, it's more of a roadside arrangement. The staff were very helpful, attentive, and courteous. I've attached their menu for you to check out before visiting. Thank you for the great experience! 🌸 Do follow me for more authentic reviews. Nice place if you are a vegetarian and even those who don't eat onion and garlic. They prepare food without these items even the taste is very different and nice... specially you will feel the flavour of pure ghee in vegetable and other items including the rotis. Also the rotis are cooked in a wood oven so it brings a different taste when it's prepared spreading ghee. You may also like the green chillies which seems to be their speciality as most of the people were asking for it.

Food is good a bit on the expensive side but it's taste good. There dosa is best. If you sit inside and order they charge more. Like if you are outside and ordering a dosa it will be for 100 bucks and the same dish inside will be for 150 bucks. There panipuri is good. And you can try pavbhaji . Its self service place. The staff is okay . Good for chat and fastfood go there with your family.

Terrible terrible pizza. First they did not add any pizza sauce, when we complained, they cut open the pizza, added some low quality ketchup and served the same pizza. Try any such items at your own risk. One of the worst pizzas in Alwar. A BIG NOOOO!

Taste wise Ok-Ok. Not much great and not bad. Service wise it is poor. Cost is on very high side comparing to food/service. Also expensive as compared to other restaurants of the Alwar city. Location wise it is just near cross point mall. Parking also available. You can also get dosa, idli, pav bhaji and other fast food there.

The Food Republic by Inderlok had set a new standards when it opened. The service staff and ambience is good but the quality of food disappointed me last 3 times I went there in the past year. To me, the taste of the food will always have far more importance than the ambience. If you want to go to a place to click good photos, then sure do go there. It is much overrated restaurant in the city NOW.

The food here was absolutely delightful! Every dish was bursting with flavors and prepared with great attention to detail. The ingredients felt fresh and the portions were generous. From appetizers to desserts, everything tasted well-balanced and satisfying. Highly recommend trying their signature dishes—they’re worth every bite. The ambience of the place was warm, inviting, and aesthetically pleasing. The décor blended modern elements with a cozy charm, making it perfect for both casual dining and special occasions. The lighting was just right—soft and comfortable—and the background music created a relaxed vibe without being too loud. I had best birthday celebration here with a yum yum brownie!!!

A big disappointment on our decision, the food was below average and they costing like any fine dining restaurant. They are just serving street vendor's food and i can get better food in my place like delhi or gurgaon. If this is the best place for alwar guys then they are definitely missing the actual taste or its just they are happy with the interior and all. For continental food I'll definitely not going to recommend. We ordered many things all are average but real story is about Pizza 🍕 They are actually serving pizza 🍕 made-up of ready to use base from market...come on man you are a famous restaurant why are you doing this why would anyone eat it. The good part is the guy was cooperative he understood the issue and removed it from our bill. But i still say the food is comparable to any delhi gurgaon 2 star 🌟 restaurant literally. Alwar people you need to wake up in terms of taste 😒

The taste, the aroma, the blend... Food is just not food here. When you talk about food, Inderlok-Classic serves with best in Alwar. Polite staff, humble Manager - Mr. Vikram and great cooks had never let this banner down. The only reason of not giving 5-Stars is, they actually are not able to manage the parties in the down halls on their service part. I'm stating on the behalf of my personal experience. Jaipur International Airport, located in the capital of Rajasthan, offers a delightful experience for food enthusiasts and admirers of architectural beauty. The airport provides essential amenities for travelers and features a smooth check-in process and efficient security procedures. While it lacks an announcement system, the airport's well-maintained facilities and easy-to-navigate layout make it a convenient travel hub.
It is a compact airport, I call it because as soon as security is done you are near a gate. I was in domestic terminal. It is nicely maintained and very clean. I found all amenities an airport should have, thus many things are well fitted in a compact place. The video I am posting is during rain.

In last 20 years Jaipur Airport totally changed .. superb High class building structure.. grand reception.. heavy traffic of flight ✈️ s Now every service heavily costly.. very few stocks in custom cleared Dollars shop.. rates of canteen and parking drastically augmented. Getting your baggage through conveyor system is painful.. anybody can pick any item, no checking and awareness..no one to look after. Boarding pass staff taking too much time in compare to other cities Airports, say Indore, Lucknow, Bhopal etc. Atmosphere is charming and pleasant gives some satisfaction.
Kanti A — Google review
Walking into Jaipur Airport felt surprisingly pleasant……it’s clean, well-lit, and easy to navigate. Security checks were organized, and the staff were polite……though the queues can get a bit long during peak hours. Plenty of seating in the waiting area……but food options felt limited and overpriced. Wi-Fi works fine for quick browsing, and restrooms were clean, which is always a relief. Overall……not a huge airport, but it has a warm, welcoming vibe that matches the city’s charm. Just get there a little early if you’re traveling at busy times.

Jaipur airport is maintained by Adani group, the size of the airport is Small compared to other international airports. The maintenance is okay, at lower gates there is no enough space for passengers to stroll after their security check. It is better to carry food from outside of necessary, there are only 1 or 2 shops. Toilets available and well maintained
Teja I — Google review
When I arrived at Jaipur International Airport (JAI) — or as locals still fondly call it, Sanganer Airport — I instantly felt that blend of modern efficiency and Rajasthani warmth. It’s the main gateway to Rajasthan, and for many travelers like me, it’s where the Pink City adventure begins. ✈️ A Bit of Background Interestingly, the airport’s story goes all the way back to World War II, when it was just a military airbase. It officially opened for commercial flights in 1949, and later achieved international airport status in 2005. Today, it’s managed by the Adani Group, who took over operations in 2021, and you can see that modernization effort in how the place runs. There are two main passenger terminals — Terminal 1 for international flights and Terminal 2 for domestic (and some international) services. The newer terminal is bright, air-conditioned, and equipped with all the essentials: lounges with Wi-Fi, duty-free shops, dining outlets, and even currency exchange counters. I also liked how the airport maintains its “Silent Airport” concept — minimal announcements and more digital screens, which keeps the atmosphere calm. Flight connections are great. You can easily hop to all major Indian cities — Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Kolkata — and even abroad to Dubai, Sharjah, Muscat, and Bangkok. Airlines like IndiGo, Air India, SpiceJet, Vistara, and Air India Express operate regularly here. The airport is expanding further, with plans to add 15,000 square meters to Terminal 2 — meaning more check-in counters, self-baggage drop options, and boarding gates. It’s a good sign of how fast Jaipur’s travel scene is growing. Overall, Jaipur International Airport feels efficient yet welcoming — a comfortable start or end to any Rajasthan trip. While I didn’t come across a lot of detailed passenger reviews during my research, the experience on the ground was smooth, organized, and true to the city’s reputation for hospitality.

I commend the exemplary ecological initiatives undertaken at this airport. The meticulous waste management protocols, encompassing robust recycling and composting systems, demonstrably minimize environmental impact. Furthermore, the incorporation of water conservation strategies, including rainwater harvesting and efficient irrigation, reflects a laudable commitment to sustainability. The proactive utilization of renewable energy sources and the evident emphasis on minimizing carbon emissions are equally commendable. These concerted efforts to mitigate pollution and preserve biodiversity establish a benchmark for other airports to emulate.

Terminal 1 is International Airport. Terminal 2 is domestic airport. We had gone to drop a relative to T2 and there were few changes. Earlier the cars could drop passengers at the departure and arrival gates. But now they have stopped this. For cars they have a separate parking where the passengers can deboard from their vehicles and have to walk to the gates. Trolleys are available here to make this walk easy. So if you are travelling after a long time to this airport, be ready for this.

Jaipur International Airport (JAI), located in Sanganer about 10 km from the city centre, receives generally positive reviews for cleanliness, efficiency, and architecture, though some travelers note certain shortcomings in facilities and management .Facilities and CleanlinessPassengers frequently describe the airport as modern, spacious, and clean. The terminals, redesigned to reflect Rajasthani architecture, are appreciated for their aesthetic appeal and comfortable seating . Reviews highlight reliable sanitation in most areas and organized passenger handling; however, older complaints about unclean washrooms and pigeons inside terminals suggest occasional lapses in maintenance .
