Rajiv Gandhi Regional Museum of Natural History – A Nature Lover’s Learning Hub Located in Sawai Madhopur, just a short drive from Ranthambore National Park, this museum is dedicated to showcasing India’s rich biodiversity, forests, and wildlife conservation efforts. Spread across multiple galleries, it offers a mix of life-size animal models, dioramas, and interactive displays that bring natural history to life. The museum covers themes like desert ecology, the Himalayan ecosystem, wetlands, and endangered species, with special sections on Rajasthan’s wildlife. The exhibits are designed to be both educational and visually engaging, making them appealing for school groups, families, and researchers alike. One highlight is the replica of Ranthambore’s forest environment, which gives visitors a close look at the flora and fauna of the region without stepping into the jungle. There are also informative panels on conservation challenges and success stories in India. The premises are clean, peaceful, and surrounded by greenery, with friendly staff to guide visitors. Entry is free, and photography is usually allowed in most sections. Since it’s less crowded than typical tourist spots, it offers a calm, unhurried experience. 📍 Location: Ramsinghpura, Sawai Madhopur 🕒 Timings: 10 AM – 6 PM (Closed on Mondays) 💰 Entry Fee: Free ⭐ Rating: 4.6/5 Best For: Students, nature enthusiasts, wildlife photographers, and anyone visiting Ranthambore.

Wonderful place, slightly difficult to navigate to. On the way we thought that we are on wrong road but later the building appeared as a standalone monument. The organization is very good and informative. Must visit place with kids who take interest in any kind of exhibits.

Good museum with a variety of exhibits and v informative . Well maintained . Staff is well trained , friendly .
Leena P — Google review
Honestly speaking, this place exceeded my expectations by every means. Its a clean museum with well maintained gardens. No tickets required. Taxidermy displays are well maintained. Dioramas are well done. Charts of water cycle, water conservation, birds and food groups are interesting to children. Washrooms are basic and clean. Clean drinking water available for refilling your bottles. Its a good place to bring your young family members and you can easily spend very information-packed 2-3 hours with your family. It opens at 10 am and parking inside the complex is free. Google map location is little off placed so use your common sense or just ask anyone in the village.
Punit — Google review
Free! Located 5-6 km from main road, this museum of natural history have many exhibits specially on the theme environment ( animals, posters, exhibits, etc). Staff is polite and encourage you to write the feedback after visiting it. There is separate hall for ranthambore, rajasthan culture, millets, etc. it is a good place to bring kids and make them learn.

Chauth Mata Mandir

Mentioned on
5 lists
Hindu temple
Nestled on a hilltop in Rajasthan, India, the Chauth Mata Temple is a centuries-old white marble structure with intricate carvings and traditional Rajasthani architecture. Dedicated to Goddess Chauth Mata, it offers stunning views of the town and serves as a hub of vibrant celebrations during festivals like Navratri. Pilgrims climb a series of steps to seek blessings at this revered site of worship, built by Maharaja Bhim Singh.
Chauth ka barwara is a chauth mata temple is probably the only one of this kind. Temple is situated at the hill and there are two many steps which might cause bit of discomfort for patients having heart/BP/Ashthama disease and for elderly people. Temple is well managed by trust and its neat and clean.

I visited Chouth Mata Temple in May 2023, I was only a foreigner here. My Indian friend who grew up in the area bought me to visit the temple. This temple is very beautiful and you will see many devotees doing their ritual on the way up the stairs. You can see they are very happy. Good time to visit is in morning or late afternoon or evening so it is not too hot. The steps going up to the temple is quite far but the area has roof so you won't be too hot. You will see many new wedding couples come here to pray respect. I recommen to visit if you are in the area.

Amreshwar Mahadev Temple

Mentioned on
5 lists
Hindu temple
Amreshwar Mahadev Temple in Sawai Madhopur is a serene and ancient religious site dedicated to Lord Shiva. Nestled amidst natural caves and a picturesque waterfall, the temple offers a tranquil setting for spiritual contemplation and meditation. The journey to seek blessings at this 1200-year-old temple is an adventure in itself, with its scenic surroundings and thrilling path.
The temple is 1-2 Km inside the forest. The vehicle is to be parked at the base of the hill and from there is climbing the stairs. The climb is easy as the stairs are not steep. There are lot of monkeys around but they are herm less and mind their own business. At the time of the day we were the only visitors at the temple. The experience was spiritual and we felt blessed. Even though the waterfall was dry the surroundings were beautiful. I would highly recommend a visit.
Ashesh B — Google review
It's beautiful place with breathtaking view during monsoon season but dangerous to Becoz the steps are very slippery water continued to flow on stairs and waterfall is also there but for olders people I would not recommend it and if you want to visit go on your own risk with good slippers or crocs and please carry some extra clothes if you wish to enjoy or take bath in waterfall but their is no washroom or room to change now it's upto you to decide what you want to do. If you want to reach the temple you have to cross the waterfall area which is very slippery after crossing the waterfall you have to climb the stairs and then you will reach the temple .

Amareshwar Mahadev Temple & Waterfall – A Hidden Spiritual & Natural Gem in Sawai Madhopur 🌿 I recently visited Amareshwar Mahadev Temple, and I must say—this is truly a hidden gem that blends spirituality, nature, and a peaceful vibe far from the crowd. It’s located just 6–7 km from Sawai Madhopur town and around 3 km from the main Ranthambore National Park gate, yet feels like a different world altogether! You have to travel through a forest patch for about 1 km (you can walk or drive if the road is good). The way itself is filled with lush greenery, especially during the monsoon, and we even saw some peacocks and monkeys along the way. The natural atmosphere makes the journey feel like a short trek through nature. The temple is more than 1,000 years old, and it’s built inside a cave. What’s magical is the natural water dripping continuously from the rocks onto the Shivling—called "Jal Abhishek." It gives a divine and calming experience. The energy there is peaceful, and you really feel connected with nature and spirituality at the same time. 🌊 The biggest highlight? The waterfall! During the monsoon season, a beautiful 40–45 feet waterfall flows down the rocks right beside the temple, creating a soothing sound and cool mist. There’s also a natural pond (kund) formed by the water where people often bathe or dip their feet. There are separate bathing areas for men and women. 🌸 On Mahashivratri, the entire area turns into a spiritual festival with lots of devotees, a fair (mela), and cultural celebrations like jagran (nighttime prayers). If you're around that time, don't miss it! 🦚 Wildlife lovers will also enjoy the calm environment. It’s close to Ranthambore, so chances of spotting birds, langurs, deer, and peacocks are high. It’s perfect for families, couples, pilgrims, or even solo travelers who want a peaceful break. ⚠️ A few things to keep in mind: Wear good shoes and carry water. Mobile network is weak in the forest stretch. Avoid weekends if you don’t like crowds. Please respect the bathing areas and keep the surroundings clean.

Nice and cool place. Temple is under a rock accessible by walk. One need to park own vehicles at the main road and take the jeeps to the temple. The jeep is available for 100 rs for one side. From the drop point of jeep it is around 500 meters climb on the hill. Very nice view of the mountains and there is a waterfalls.

The Ranthambore School Of Art Society

The Ranthambore School of Art Society, located near the Ranthambore National Park in Sawai Madhopur, is known for its talented students who specialize in painting tigers to promote wildlife in India. The best time to visit this cultural center is during the winter months when the weather is pleasant for exploring. Nearby attractions include historical ruins like Kalandar Fort and tranquil water bodies such as Padam Talab & Malik Talao.
Tiger/wildlife art is present all over the place in Ranthambore but what sets this place apart is you get to interact with the artists and interns that are actually in charge of creating the art. Also they seem to use sturdier canvas than what was on display in most other places. The charm of hearing the stories behind each painting adds a personal touch that was missing in other exhibits in Ranthambore. Also this is an NGO. We bought two pieces. Highly recommended.
Tushar P — Google review
A must visit if you are visiting Ranthambore. The artists create life like paintings..met one artist named Rajesh Saini... the place left us speechless
Malini — Google review
Please note this place can also ship and send u the canvas u desire and takes orders for paintings of animals and accept online payment too, all definitely worth any amount of money... Now for the review of the place... A small space.. but so full of soul. For people coming to connect with nature here.. and with animals... This place provides u portraits that allow u to peer into the lives and souls of these animals... Like a photo but so much more it appears... Probably because of all the work that goes into recreating a photo. But that effort in the viewers mind translates to a emotional bond with those animals. Lovely people too and overall a very wholesome experience from the most unexpected of places.
Sriram V — Google review
Sure shot way of tiger sighting in Ranthambore. No guessing for what is Ranthambore all about. Yes – tigers. This time we saw tigers of a different variety. Not in the jungle, but on canvas, dexterously hand painted by the students of the Ranthambore School of Art. Ranthambore School of Art is an art school, exhibition and gallery all in a small single story house. This is off Sawai Madhopur on Ranthambore Road. While we had heard about this place, given the very little publicity they do, locals were not very aware of this place. It was per chance, while driving on the Ranthambore Road, we came across a modest signage which led to this institution of the truest sense. We walked in and saw painters sitting in front of large canvasses with menacing big cats looking back at them. It is a totally different issue that these tigers were brought to existence by these artists who were blessed with photographic precision. One could identify single strands of hair in some of these paintings. Ranthambore School of Art is more than 20 years old. During our visit, we met Mr. Ram Sahay who is one of the founder members of this organisation. He was extremely forthcoming and shared interesting details. As with everything Ranthambore, the artwork here was geared towards wildlife. In fact, the institution was established with the aim to protect tigers. Students come here to learn as well as senior artists sit here and create paintings some of which are on sale. They showed us huge canvasses as well as small painted postcards. Given the life-like paintings, it was difficult to believe that these were results of a wood and hair brush and not any digital medium. In addition to tigers, birds and other wildlife, the artists also paint diverse subjects. We loved the painting of Jesus in all his compassionate glory. Incidentally, there was no effort on part of the art school to make a sale. This made us very comfortable. In addition to painting, the artists from here routinely hold workshops in schools, museum and nearby villages to create awareness about the tiger. While jungle safari is the primary activity, a visit to the Ranthambore School of Art is an offbeat activity in Ranthambore. One doesn’t need to be art aficionado to appreciate the sincere work here. We believe a good piece of work has a universal language, it breaks boundaries. Ranthambore School of Art does just that are we are humbled to have an opportunity of witnessing this first hand.
Delhi D — Google review

This place is a classic example of how a tourist place can be neglected and spoilt.. The premise also have the office for ranthambhor forest sanctuary. One needs to confirm the booking and get the jeep / canter from here Nice and big property, where in many small stores have been put up demonstrating local artifacts for sale. However, except few eating joints, and 2-3 stores, everything other store closed... No Toilets, Improperly maintained site and stores. Did not find it secure for females This place seriously needs attention and revamped to make it a better place for tourists

We visited this place with lots of hopes. Since the name suggested its a handicraft village , we had expected to see local art and craft. But other two food stalls and two small shops there was nothing else. From the architecture of this place, I could tell that it was made to showcase local art to all the people who come to book safari. But I guess it got neglected over time.

The place is nice to shop for handicrafts. But I visited recently during the pandemic time and in the evening. So most of the shops were closed. The place is located near the Ranthambore Tiger sanctuary and the Ganesh temple so you can easily visit this place if you are planning for any of the above mentioned places.

The open-air Gypsy vehicles, designed for six passengers, allow you to explore various park zones while capturing stunning photographs of diverse wildlife and rare bird species.
It was a memorable experience. It is also a place in budget. I would advise to go with a group of 15 to 20 members. if you're lucky you can get a vivid sight of the tiger. But the other animals are assured. Note: please plan your trip from noon, as you will get to spend more time in the wild.

The Trinetra Ganesh Temple is situated inside a fortress that is centuries-old, and it is notable for housing the complete family of Lord Ganesha. The temple can be accessed through a beautiful road that passes through a forest reserve, offering breathtaking views along the way and from the fort. To fully appreciate the enchanting stories behind both the fort and temples on premise, it's advisable to hire a guide.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Divine Experience Amidst Nature and History The Trinetra Ganesh Temple, nestled within the majestic Ranthambore Fort, is a spiritual haven that blends divinity with the beauty of nature and history. As soon as you enter, you are enveloped by a deep sense of peace and reverence. The temple, dedicated to Lord Ganesha with three eyes (Trinetra), has an ancient charm that makes it truly unique. What makes the visit even more special is the journey to reach the temple—set high on a hilltop within Ranthambore Fort, surrounded by lush greenery and wildlife. The panoramic views of the forests below and the soothing sounds of nature make this more than just a religious visit. It’s a perfect blend of spiritual tranquility and natural beauty. One of the most unique features of this temple is the daily ritual where devotees from around the world send letters to Lord Ganesha seeking blessings for their weddings, businesses, and personal milestones. It’s humbling to see the faith people place in this sacred space. Whether you’re visiting for a spiritual purpose or simply exploring the rich cultural heritage of Rajasthan, the Trinetra Ganesh Temple is a must-visit. It’s a place where faith, history, and nature come together in perfect harmony. Truly a blessed experience! I hope this captures the essence you are looking for!

We went on a safari in Zone 2 of Ranthambore during the monsoon season, and the weather added a dramatic and beautiful atmosphere to the forest. Despite the rain, we were incredibly lucky to spot three tigers, which was an unforgettable experience and made the trip worthwhile. The natural beauty and thrill of the jungle were truly remarkable. However, the experience was dampened by the behavior of our guide and driver. Unfortunately, they were rude and unprofessional, and to our surprise, they asked for extra money at the end of the safari, which left us feeling uncomfortable. It’s disappointing when such a special experience is marred by a lack of courtesy and transparency. Overall, the wildlife and setting were outstanding, but the service and conduct of the staff need serious improvement. I’d recommend the safari for nature and wildlife lovers but advise being cautious and clear about expectations beforehand

**Historical Significance:** The Trinetra Ganesh Temple is one of the oldest temples in Rajasthan, dating back to 1299. Its history is intertwined with the fort itself, making it a culturally significant site. * **Unique Enshrinement:** The temple is famous for housing the entire family of Lord Ganesha, with the main statue itself having three eyes (Trinetra). This unique feature makes the temple a pilgrimage destination for devotees of Ganesha. * **Fort Views:** Being located within the fort walls, the temple offers scenic views of the surrounding landscape. You might even be able to see parts of Ranthambore National Park. **Accessibility:** The temple requires climbing stairs, which may be difficult for visitors with knee problems or limited mobility. * **Limited Information:** There might be limited information boards or guided tours available at the temple itself. Consider hiring a guide for the fort to learn more about the temple's history and significance. **Overall:** The Trinetra Ganesh Temple is a worthwhile stop for visitors interested in history, religion, or simply exploring the entirety of Ranthambore Fort. If you're comfortable navigating stairs, the unique idol and historical connection make this temple a special place to visit. **Additional Tips:** * Dress modestly, as is customary when visiting Hindu temples. * Small donations are appreciated but not mandatory. * Photography is usually allowed, but be respectful of worshippers and ask permission if unsure. * Combine your visit to the temple with exploring the Ranthambore Fort for a well-rounded historical and cultural experience.

Ganesh temple located at the top of a hill inside the world heritage Ranthambore fort There are many steps to the temple along the fort, so though the journey is scenic, it can be challenging for elderly. Also, you can get a guide as there are many of them offering their services. The place is surrounded by beautiful scenery overlooking the Ranthambore tiger reserve and mountains and valleys. The temple is simple and modest. You'll find ample of small shops, cafes and sellers of offerings and garlands as is the norm outside all Indian temples. Beware of the monkeys though as they can be pretty aggressive at times

Trinetra Ganesh Temple in Ranthambore fort is a remarkable place that holds a fascinating history. This temple, which is approximately 724 years old, houses a unique Ganesha statue that isn't man-made but a natural creation that emerged from the rock itself. The sight of this ancient statue is awe-inspiring and instills a sense of divine connection. Legend has it that Lord Ganesha revealed himself to a sage who meditated at this very spot, thus giving birth to the Trinetra Ganesh Temple. Over the centuries, the temple has become a sacred destination for devotees seeking blessings and fulfilling their heartfelt wishes. However, visitors are advised not to trek during peak hours of the daytime, especially in summer, due to scorching temperatures. It's essential to stay hydrated and take necessary precautions to avoid any health issues during the journey. Make sure to reach temple before 4 pm as there is no entry after 4pm. When planning your visit, make sure to carry enough cash, as the temple's location might result in no network coverage, and online transactions are not possible once you reach the temple premises. In conclusion, Trinetra Ganesh Temple in Ranthambore is a place of spiritual significance with a mesmerizing natural Ganesha statue that leaves a lasting impression on its visitors. Devotees are sure to find solace and fulfillment in their prayers if offered with a pure heart and sincerity. A visit to this sacred site is a unique and spiritually enriching experience, but proper planning and timing are essential to make the most of the journey.

This is a divine experience. Darshan is so calming and peaceful. It’s a little long walk along the fort to reach here but it’s worth the walk. There are monkeys here so be a bit careful with flowers and food/ Prasad. There is long queue during key days else it isn’t too crowded. Maintained well.

We tried Rajasthani dish Dal-bati-churma & Dum aloo tikkad, it was delicious. As per request, we got really good taste non-spicy food. Price is also decent & staff behaviour is very helpful. A little improvement is required on visibilty of restaurant from outside & ambience inside it. Overall experience was good, one must give a try if interested in Rajasthan's traditional dishes.

The place is near Siddhi Vinayak hotel. It is a small restaurant. The food is decent. The service is horrible. There is only 1 person who takes the order. You Will have to wait even to give order during peak time. The person initially mentioned everything is available. When we asked for poori bhaji it was not available. We asked for tea - not available. Half of the items were not available so we ordered their daal bati thali. It took around half an hour for them to serve the food. We had finished half of the food when we saw that on the other table poori bhaji, coffee and tea was also served which was not available 30 mins back. When we questioned him he informed that it would take time so he mentioned not available. The staff is not customer oriented as we saw them arguing with other customer as well.

Food was super awesome. We enjoyed the food in front of the restaurant at GF only. At the front side the juice parlour is super good they have too many varieties and all are wonderful. We had tried so many types of juice and shakes over there. Then on the right side the 1st restaurant was also good they have fresh food and very quick services. I was happy to be there for 3 days..

This is the only place in Sawai Madhopur where you can find different type of food under one roof. It is actually a non-AC food court with very limited seats. The price of food is genuine and decent quality of food is maintained. We had one lunch, one evening tea, and two dinners there. We opted for rooftop AC small restaurant which was offering the food at 15% to 20% higher rate. But considering the non-AC food court with limited sitting capacity, we did not mind paying the premium for getting service on the table in AC environment.

The Oberoi Vanyavilas Wildlife Resort, Ranthambore

Bar
The Oberoi Vanyavilas Wildlife Resort in Ranthambore offers a luxurious and intimate retreat near the borders of Ranthambore National Park. The resort's elegant rooms are housed in stylish tents that evoke the opulence of royal caravans, surrounded by lush greenery and the picturesque Aravalli ranges. Guests can indulge in diverse dining options, including Rajasthani classics, pan-Indian dishes, and continental cuisine at the all-day restaurant.
This place is the epitome of luxury and excellent service. Every possible need was anticipated, any possible request was accommodated and the staff go above and beyond to ensure you have a luxurious experience. We travel quite frequently and stay in similar facilities all over the world but have never had an experience like this - we actually felt like visiting royalty. Every single staff member knew our children’s names and greeted them as such from the moment we entered and during any interaction. Every staff member seemed to know the specifics of every item of our itinerary and were lying in wait to assist with anything we need and to bid us farewell, packed snacks for the trip and to greet us upon arrival. They even took the time to find out which animals we saw as we returned and immediately upon arrival asked the children about how they saw tigers and bears during that safari. The welcome and all the bonus little extras particularly for the children every single day were magnificent (I won’t share details so to not spoil the surprise). The general manager Ratna truly seems to care deeply about every guest’s experience and seemed to be the driving force behind such excellent service. Every other 5 star hotel in the world takes a backseat to this place.

An Enchanting Getaway at The Oberoi Vanyavilas – A Stay Beyond Expectations From the moment we arrived at The Oberoi Vanyavilas, we knew we were in for something truly special. The check-in process was seamless — warm smiles, refreshing drinks, and the feeling of stepping into a world where luxury and nature coexist in perfect harmony. Our room was nothing short of breathtaking. Nestled amidst lush greenery, the luxurious tent was a perfect blend of comfort and elegance. Every amenity had been thoughtfully curated — from the fragrant essential oils to the weather-appropriate scarves and refreshments. It was evident that great attention had been paid to even the smallest details, making us feel pampered from the very beginning. A special mention must go to Ms. Ratna Malhotra, the gracious manager, whose warmth and hospitality made our stay all the more memorable. She made us feel truly special — as if we were guests in a cherished home rather than just visitors. Her presence was calm, kind, and genuinely caring. The entire staff at Vanyavilas deserves applause. Each member we interacted with was humble, courteous, and always ready to assist with a smile. Whether it was arranging a personalized meal, remembering our preferences, or simply checking in on us at the right moments, they consistently went above and beyond to make us feel valued and at ease. Evenings were magical — with lantern-lit pathways, gentle music by the bonfire, and the sounds of nature all around. Dining was a delight: the food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Their chef curated dishes with love, accommodating our tastes effortlessly. The Oberoi Vanyavilas doesn’t just offer a luxurious stay — it offers a soulful experience. It’s not just about impeccable service, but about how the place and its people make you feel. And in our case, we left with our hearts full and a promise to return.

A Magical 40th Birthday Celebration at The Oberoi Vanyavilas, Ranthambhore I planned a surprise trip to celebrate my husband's 40th birthday, and choosing The Oberoi Vanyavilas was the best decision I could have made. From the moment we arrived, every detail was thoughtfully orchestrated to make this milestone unforgettable. The candlelight dinner with a personalized menu was the highlight of our celebration — it truly blew my husband away. The staff made us feel like family, always greeting us by name and going above and beyond with every interaction. Special thanks to Ms. Ratna Malhotra, the incredible General Manager, whose warmth and attention to detail elevated our entire stay. She is, without doubt, the crown jewel of the property. The property itself is stunning — luxurious, tranquil, and beautifully designed with a deep respect for nature. It was heartening to see the commitment to sustainability, with the entire resort being plastic-free. As parents of a toddler, that kind of environmental consciousness means a lot. Our 3-year-old daughter had the time of her life! She was welcomed with open arms and kept engaged throughout our stay. We particularly loved the Cub Club – a space where learning about nature and conservation was fun and hands-on. We didn’t want to miss a single class! She now talks about animals, trees, and tigers like a little naturalist. They even helped us find a trustworthy babysitter at the last minute when our daughter was jet-lagged, allowing us to enjoy some quiet time while knowing she was in safe, caring hands. That kind of thoughtfulness is rare and meant the world to us. One of the most soul-soothing parts of our stay was the walk with the senior naturalist. It was a divine experience – peaceful, immersive, and deeply informative. We came away with a whole new appreciation for the flora and fauna around us. Walking through the property felt like stepping into a calm, living symphony – the sights, the sounds, the serenity were all cathartic. The spa was a haven of rejuvenation, and the food... simply put, it was out of this world. Every meal was an experience. The ambience across the property was flawless — refined yet rooted in nature. And then came the safaris — what an adventure! We spotted tigers, birds, monkeys, deer, and more. Our guide and driver were not only knowledgeable but truly passionate about wildlife and conservation, which made the entire experience even more meaningful. This trip was filled with thoughtful touches — from the birthday cake, customized experiences, naturalist walk, spa sessions, safaris, to even a photo shoot. Every moment was curated with care and love. A heartfelt thank you to Ratna, Sandhya, Dhwani, Kipa, Jayitta, and Akaash – your warmth and hospitality made this vacation extraordinary. My husband and daughter both say this was the best family vacation ever. And I couldn’t agree more. The memories we created at Oberoi Vanyavilas are priceless, and we often find ourselves flipping through our photos just to relive it all. We can’t wait to return. My toddler keeps asking me when we're going back — and honestly, so do I. There is simply no place like it in the world.
Kanika M — Google review
Absolute stunner, lovely people and amazing environment. Vanyavillas quietly blends in with nature, calming and away from chaos. Though i think safari via them is quite overpriced.
Visha C — Google review
Is it possible to give them 6 stars? An extra for perfection. We have never seen better service in our lives. We were expecting top notch Oberoi service but everyone, literally everyone at the Oberoi Vanyavilas exceeded our wildest imaginations. They are not only friendly but can anticipate your needs before you. We feel the hotel has such high standards because it's led very aptly by the wonderful General Manager who welcomes every guest personally and she checked in on us everyday. Kudos! The food was another highlight. We were amazed at the extensive menu and not one item was not excellent. The staff at the dining rooms were all excellent. The crew at the bar was extremely lovely too. We wish we could have stayed much longer than 3 nights. Vanyavilas is possibly the BEST hotel we have ever stayed in, and it is the staff that makes it number 1 in the world. Situated on the busy stretch of Ranthambore national Park's entrance. Visitors must remember that in India wildlife resorts and lodges are located outside the parks, unlike in Africa. I wish indian bureaucracy would let go of their mindset and allow hotels like Vanyavilas to be inside the parks, making them serene and truly exquisite.

Fateh's Cafe in Ranthambore is a remarkable and distinct gem. Situated conveniently on the highway, it offers a superb atmosphere. The proprietors have tastefully preserved and showcased Fateh Singh's personal belongings, which adds to its charm. The cuisine is exceptional; I sampled the delicious dahi kebab and roti pe boti, both of which were outstanding!

Fateh’s is more than just a boutique stay and café—it’s a living tribute to the legacy of the legendary Fateh Singh Rathore, one of India’s most celebrated tiger conservationists. Every corner of this property reflects the warmth, vision, and spirit of the man it’s named after, thoughtfully preserved and carried forward by his family. The café is, without a doubt, one of the best culinary experiences you’ll find in Ranthambore. Whether you’re stopping by for a hearty breakfast before a safari or settling in for a relaxed evening meal, the menu is a delightful blend of local flavors and global favourites. Each dish is prepared with care and served with warmth, making you feel like an honoured guest in someone’s home. What truly elevates the experience is the hospitality. We were attended to by Girish Arya, an exceptionally smart and seasoned member of the staff. His attentiveness, knowledge of the menu, and calm, professional demeanor made our visit even more memorable. It’s rare to come across such genuine service that feels personal yet impeccably professional. If you’re in Ranthambore, Fateh’s isn’t just a recommendation—it’s a must-visit. Whether for a night’s stay or a soulful meal, you’ll walk away with more than just memories—you’ll carry a sense of connection to a remarkable legacy.

I recently visited [ FATEH’S CAFE ] and had an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by how inviting and tastefully designed the place was — soft lighting, cozy seating, charming décor, and just the right amount of background music to feel relaxed but not distracted. The atmosphere feels both elegant and warm, perfect for a casual meet‑up or a relaxing solo visit. • What truly was of this café apart, though, was the hospitality managed very carefully by staff’s & specially too “ Manisha “ for being very polite & good service , it was beautifully well managed ❤️ 💯 •The staff were attentive, friendly, and genuinely interested in making the experience memorable. Requests were handled with grace — they accommodated my preferences without making them seem like a bother. Every service interaction, from welcoming me in to checking in mid‑meal and the thoughtful farewell, felt personal and genuine.❤️

Great quaint cafe-style restaurant just out of Sawai Madhopur town and close to the Ranthambore Park. Probably the best modern food options in the Ranthambore Park area for tourists wanting to step out of their resorts for a bite. The Rajasthani options are also tasty. Good basic bakery and excellent coffee both within the Cafe and at the NBC kiosk outside it.

Very horrible experience, made us wait 25 minutes (even though seats were available), we went to a cafe on the same property and ordered milk shakes, because we were hungry. As the shake was ready, the guy at the entrance called us, so we 'take away' the shakes, but at the entrance the guy told us we can't carry the shakes inside. It was very rude as we purchased them from the same prop... But anyway, we had to throw away the shakes hoping to have good food. Unfortunately food was very bad. Chilly potato was very bad, felt like it was already eaten. Chilly chicken didn't feel like chicken at all. Unprofessional behaviour at the entrance. [Update] we went back to our hotel, enjoyed the folk night and had good food. Fateh's cafe, This place isn't worth it.

We had seen good reviews of Fateh’s Cafe and decided to come here for dinner. The place has a wonderful and welcoming vibe, with a very friendly staff. Our server Girish was very patient with us and our special requests, made sure everything we requested was met. The food was absolutely amazing! We had the dahi kebabs and malai chicken tikka as appetisers. For the main course we tried the Jungly Maas, Lal Maas and Keema baati. Everything was so tasteful, Chef Ashwin is running a beautiful kitchen! DO NOT leave without trying the Keema baati! Would definitely be recommending this cafe to everybody who plans to visit, will surely be coming back again too!

Jaipur International Airport, located in the capital of Rajasthan, offers a delightful experience for food enthusiasts and admirers of architectural beauty. The airport provides essential amenities for travelers and features a smooth check-in process and efficient security procedures. While it lacks an announcement system, the airport's well-maintained facilities and easy-to-navigate layout make it a convenient travel hub.
It is a compact airport, I call it because as soon as security is done you are near a gate. I was in domestic terminal. It is nicely maintained and very clean. I found all amenities an airport should have, thus many things are well fitted in a compact place. The video I am posting is during rain.

In last 20 years Jaipur Airport totally changed .. superb High class building structure.. grand reception.. heavy traffic of flight ✈️ s Now every service heavily costly.. very few stocks in custom cleared Dollars shop.. rates of canteen and parking drastically augmented. Getting your baggage through conveyor system is painful.. anybody can pick any item, no checking and awareness..no one to look after. Boarding pass staff taking too much time in compare to other cities Airports, say Indore, Lucknow, Bhopal etc. Atmosphere is charming and pleasant gives some satisfaction.

Walking into Jaipur Airport felt surprisingly pleasant……it’s clean, well-lit, and easy to navigate. Security checks were organized, and the staff were polite……though the queues can get a bit long during peak hours. Plenty of seating in the waiting area……but food options felt limited and overpriced. Wi-Fi works fine for quick browsing, and restrooms were clean, which is always a relief. Overall……not a huge airport, but it has a warm, welcoming vibe that matches the city’s charm. Just get there a little early if you’re traveling at busy times.

Jaipur airport is maintained by Adani group, the size of the airport is Small compared to other international airports. The maintenance is okay, at lower gates there is no enough space for passengers to stroll after their security check. It is better to carry food from outside of necessary, there are only 1 or 2 shops. Toilets available and well maintained

When I arrived at Jaipur International Airport (JAI) — or as locals still fondly call it, Sanganer Airport — I instantly felt that blend of modern efficiency and Rajasthani warmth. It’s the main gateway to Rajasthan, and for many travelers like me, it’s where the Pink City adventure begins. ✈️ A Bit of Background Interestingly, the airport’s story goes all the way back to World War II, when it was just a military airbase. It officially opened for commercial flights in 1949, and later achieved international airport status in 2005. Today, it’s managed by the Adani Group, who took over operations in 2021, and you can see that modernization effort in how the place runs. There are two main passenger terminals — Terminal 1 for international flights and Terminal 2 for domestic (and some international) services. The newer terminal is bright, air-conditioned, and equipped with all the essentials: lounges with Wi-Fi, duty-free shops, dining outlets, and even currency exchange counters. I also liked how the airport maintains its “Silent Airport” concept — minimal announcements and more digital screens, which keeps the atmosphere calm. Flight connections are great. You can easily hop to all major Indian cities — Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Kolkata — and even abroad to Dubai, Sharjah, Muscat, and Bangkok. Airlines like IndiGo, Air India, SpiceJet, Vistara, and Air India Express operate regularly here. The airport is expanding further, with plans to add 15,000 square meters to Terminal 2 — meaning more check-in counters, self-baggage drop options, and boarding gates. It’s a good sign of how fast Jaipur’s travel scene is growing. Overall, Jaipur International Airport feels efficient yet welcoming — a comfortable start or end to any Rajasthan trip. While I didn’t come across a lot of detailed passenger reviews during my research, the experience on the ground was smooth, organized, and true to the city’s reputation for hospitality.

Its a good small decent place , the security checks take lots of time to verify and then let you pass through, since its a tourist place there should be some pace of security check on the entrence part, the check in went smoothly and they do have a small showcase of what not to carry with size and quantity so that is actually good.

Terminal 1 is International Airport. Terminal 2 is domestic airport. We had gone to drop a relative to T2 and there were few changes. Earlier the cars could drop passengers at the departure and arrival gates. But now they have stopped this. For cars they have a separate parking where the passengers can deboard from their vehicles and have to walk to the gates. Trolleys are available here to make this walk easy. So if you are travelling after a long time to this airport, be ready for this.

Outside Jaipur International Airport, I faced serious harassment from several auto rickshaw drivers. Many of them force passengers to take their rides and demand fares several times higher than what ride apps charge. One driver kept troubling me until I gave him some money just to get him to leave. It’s really very troubling. many auto drivers do this, and it makes the experience feel unsafe and unpleasant. Authorities should definitely take strict action. The airport itself is good, but there are very limited hotel options and only small restrooms inside.
