Cute place to visit every time you are in Jaipur. Right in middle of a buzzing market. Be it day or night 🌙 there is always something to look forward to. In the night you can't get entry in to the Hawa Mahal but you can have a great view of the facade. It will be lit for stunning visual. I visited here after few years. Now it is slightly renovated with fresh paint and tinted glasses. Tip for photographers : Carry a wide angle lens to frame the monument, as the street is narrow to get a full view. Nice place to see when in Jaipur! The geometric architecture is really interesting, and it’s fun to spot the fish and turtles inside 🤣. Not a big thing, but definitely worth a quick stop. You can easily walk there from the Amber Palace — about 15 minutes on foot.

Living areas where you there were semi private areas that provided shade and screens but still allowed wind to blow through to greatly reduce the heat

Such a great place with sophisticated ornaments on the ceiling. At the top of the column, the abacus shows elephants head with water lily at the tip of their trunks. Very beautiful details. The downside was the way they refurbished the space, including the rest of Amber Fort. They add the lighting to be integrated in the surface, however, this means the original surface was damaged in this process. There are ways to add lighting elements while conserving the original details.

Sawai Ram Singh II(1835-80) converted the rear portion of the hall into billiards room. South of Diwani-i am is the interesting Sattais Kacheri(Toshakhana) It is a arched colonnade of 27 pillars which housed the Secretariat from where administration of Amber was carried out.

Went for brunch today. Had good ambience but food was average taste. Liked dal Palawan and sprouts chaat. However bombay sandwich was very bland and idli was average. Be prepared to wait. They have a coupon system. Will give you coupon in ground floor. Then you can go to 2nd floor and wait till called. They had shops in that floor and you can browse them while waiting. That floor also has small eating place. We were offered to eat there after 20 mins. Was told it was either that or wait again for 15-20 mins for the main restaurant. We ended up eating there as were in hurry. Staff was nice and polite. Food was average. Our hotel had recommended this place. It has variety of food to choose from.

Tapri is one of the famous cafes in Jaipur, but I am often disappointed when I visit overhyped places like this. The chai is average, and while the food looks fancy, it doesn't taste as good as it appears. I'm not sure what the service is like on normal days, but on busy days, it falls below expectations. Additionally, I question how enjoyable the open terrace can be in Jaipur's weather throughout the year.

One can go once just to try but why chats are so highly price I didn’t understand even a cup of chai is 280 rupees? I mean why? We ordered bombay sandwich which was quite good but the mushroom panini is full of black pepper which completely over powered the taste of the mushroom and other vegetables. LOVELY atmosphere. Just walked over the place and went inside looking for a good bar round the town. DJ was great, as he started Bollywood songs from 10:30 onwards, the crowd got engaged really well. The food was top notch with some incredible authentic taste.

The BEST PLACE. If you want to make your trip or dinner memorable then must visit this. This place made our trip to jaipur very memorable, we had our dinner and drinks for 2 days consecutively and we had our best time, there was DJ , which also very good. The person who was serving/ helping was very kind and helped us out in every was possible. The food and drinks are great in taste. You can dance near you table as there no saperate stage for it and there's no age barrier for enter or dancing. The atmosphere is also great, no one will mis behave or anything. We sat on the beautiful terrace and the staff were the highlight of the evening. We had a good chat with the Manager Jitish whose service was excellent. Kalyan and Lakhan were also fantastic. We came to Forresta from the Jawa Mahal area specifically for good beer but also got a DJ playing UK 00s hits, great food and a green garden with amazing fairy lights. The atmosphere was great because we were there just before Diwali.

We stopped by for a beer and ended up spending the entire night here instead, thanks to Dheeraj. Beer, cocktails and food were amazing. Dheeraj’s hospitality was outstanding and we went ahead with his recommendations for cocktails and food and were not disappointed. The vibe of this place is amazing post 8.30 pm — it gets packed! Special mention to the DJ who played the most amazing music and easily transitioned from old English retro music to upbeat Bollywood, punjabi and English music — the place felt completely different post 9.30-10 pm and we just didn’t feel like leaving. We had the most amazing time here and would highly recommend this to everyone to stop by at least once during their visit to Jaipur.

Extremely disappointed with the service. We ordered four dishes, one for each of us and they arrived 20–30 minutes apart, so we ended up eating one at a time instead of together. The noodles were cold and tasted like they’d been cooked in old oil. We’ve been coming here for years, but this was by far the worst experience we’ve had.

I’ve been coming to White Sage for almost a decade now, and it has always held a special place for me. Which is why my recent visit felt really underwhelming. We ordered the Basil Pesto Flatbread, but it came topped with lettuce instead of arugula—without being informed about the change. The Giant Ravioli turned out to be mini ones, which felt misleading. Even the Ragi Nachos had very little topping and barely any cheese, leaving them quite dry. On top of this, the portion sizes have reduced while prices have increased, which makes the experience feel less worth it. Over the years, White Sage has always stood out for its consistency and quality, so it was surprising and disappointing to see this dip. I truly hope the team takes this feedback constructively and brings back the food and service that made White Sage such a reliable favorite.

We went there for dinner after reading all the reviews and hype about this restaurant. The space itself was beautiful with warm and cozy vibes. The servers were attentive, though we had to ask them to serve the dish or change the plates in between. What did not sit right with us was the food. For such an extensive menu, the only thing I found ok was the hibiscus cooler. We ordered sev puri tacos, we could taste the bad oil in the puris, there was nothing good about it and it tasted worse than the actual Sev puris. The som tam salad was a big let down, the dressing was watery, lots of peanuts and a strong flavour of lemon grass did not allow us to taste anything else. We then ordered the hot and sweet dumplings, the filling seemed to be very starchy. We yet wanted to try the dessert and ordered the bubbling kulfi. Other than the molecular gastronomy behind it, there was nothing to write home about, except for the mango sauce, the blueberry, chocolate or caramel sauce did not do any justice to the kulfi popcorns. Overall it was a let down from the food point of view and I won’t recommend if you are going for the food.

Very nice restaurant with a wide menu selection from Indian to international dishes. Their take is gourmet. You can eat at the cafe or restaurant the menu is the same. You have the option to eat outside or inside, in both cases the decor is unique. Very very very very very slow service. From walking in to being seated to ordering our food to food prep for more than 40 minutes I was shocked at the slowness of the place. It was not busy about three tables had under 10 guests. There is really no excuse that could help me understand how a starter and pizza took almost an hour! The atmosphere is beautiful and elegant. The servers were polite and professional. The cost is astronomical…maybe they charge by the minute? 200 rupees for a bottle of water and we were charged even though we never opened it! If you’re going be ready to wait and pay for the time!

We went to celebrate my husband's birthday and it was definitely a right choice. The ambience, the food, the service and the music everything was awesome. Mr. Dashrath was our assigned service provider and he was the best. He made us feel like home. Thank you. The place is magical and I will definitely visit again and again 😊

The food is atrocious and the service is thoroughly underwhelming, but the place is pretty. We assumed the interior designer is also the chef because nothing else can explain the amateur hour nonsense we were served. Whoever died and left this palace to the proprietors would be appalled at what their kitchen is being misused for. I was left wondering if this restaurant is an elaborate social experiment to see how much money white people will willingly hand over as reparations for colonialism. Each and every item we ordered was consistently awful, except for our lemonade and only because they forget to actually give it to us. This was largely indicative of the service quality also since the staff was disinterested in waiting on anyone. Can't blame them though, because I'd be depressed too if I had to eat this food every day. Our jal mahal kadhai vegetables tasted like capcisum salad and nothing else. The Lal maas was a crime against the memory of the goat that went into it. Old, overcooked meat, no spice, not enough salt, even the garlic was an afterthought. Our butter roti was stiff, served cold and had a tiny dab of butter smeared on it. This travesty of a meal set me back by 3800. If you have 3800 to spare, I beg you to burn it for warmth and you'll walk away with a better value for the money than spending it at this tragic joke of a restaurant.

The experience started well with a flavorful soup, but it all went downhill from there. On the manager Rohit’s recommendation, we ordered the Paneer Kankar Kebab (vegetarian). Unfortunately, it was served cold and tasted quite ordinary. The garlic bread that followed was one of the worst I’ve ever had. Our appetite was gone by then, but we still decided to try the mutton biryani another ow average dish served with dirty dhaba-style raita. The only redeeming part of the evening was the ambience, the location which truly felt 5-star. The food, however, deserves -1 star. To make matters worse, Manager Rohit deceitfully took my phone under the pretext of taking a payment screenshot and used it to give the restaurant a fake 5-star rating😭😭😭. Prices are sky-high for the quality offered. Overall, a very disappointing experience👎🏻

Dining here is nothing short of a royal experience. The restaurant perfectly lives up to its regal setting, with an ambience that reflects the grandeur and intricacy of Rajputana heritage. From the décor to the overall atmosphere, everything feels majestic and truly special. The staff were extremely cooperative and friendly, ensuring smooth service throughout our visit. While the prices are on the higher side, the combination of authentic flavors, attentive service, and the palace-like ambience makes it absolutely worth it.

We visited 1135AD at the Amer Fort today and it was good. The restaurant is located on the floor above the Amber Palace ticket counters and can be accessed through a side access route. We made a booking online and reserved a seat. The menu is full of traditional North Indian food but the pricing was on the very high end of the scale. I went for the mutton dum biriyani while my wife went for vegetarian biriyani along with tandoori prawn starters. We paid INR5000+ for the dishes however felt that it's low value for money. The service was great and the location was brilliant.

The location seems to be a major disappointment, and it's so unfortunate that it didn't meet our expectations because we were really looking forward to it. Driving outside the city for 30 minutes through narrow lanes which seem no less than haunted only to have a frustrating experience. The access to the place is beyond reach if you are coming for dinner. Zero lights inside or outside the fort which makes it so difficult to walk up the steep slopes.Pitch dark and super scary environment when you walk down after dinner. No proper parking with an added risk of life because of the crowd around. So much inconvenience specially when you are with small kids. Absolutely not worth it. I would rate this place as a zero because it is highly overrated hopeless and can leave you really depressed with the kind of ambience around with nothing positive to be considered for. The food is very average and too expensive and definitely not worth risking your life. No royal experience at all like they say. I would say it is below average. Serving in silverware or huge sofas doesn't define royalty. It is really far from that. Don't go by the pictures anywhere on social media. Because it's very misleading. They don't have any candlelight dinners. It is only for special events in the private hall. No wonder that area is really beautiful but i don't think you can risk your life to go up there just for a few pictures. Also, it is not even accessible for casual dinners. You can easily find better dining experiences in the city than especially coming all the way to the fort. I am thankful I came back alive after walking in the dark with two small kids thinking anybody could easily rob me or stab me. Never coming back. This place is definitely not worth a penny.

Amazing experience at 1135 AD. First, i was a little scared to go to this place as it had mixed reviews but my experience was phenomenal. We tried lal mans, a speciality of rajasthan, a mocktail and dudhiya roti. It was amazing. 😍👍👌 Recommended.

Best restaurant in jaipur amber. Excellent food service and ambience. Located inside premisies of amber palace. Gives you feel of being in the teal palace settings and enjoying the food. Staff dressed in traditional attire. Must visit.

Omg, a stranger recommended this place when we were in Jaipur and we thought we were scammed, cause it was 11 and no one was there! But slowly people started dining there and we felt at ease There’s live music here, staff is nice, AC, washrooms clean and the best part, food is great, quantity is a bit less but the taste is nice. Loved the food and it was the best part! Interior is nice n glammed!

Very poor food quality and adds service tax in the name of gst , doesn’t even have the gst no. On the bill people who don’t know that paying service tax is not compulsory are being fooled or probably a 100 rs of amount is taken as service tax which isn’t ethical . However food was not worth the prices . Even if you think of having an authentic Rajasthani meal anyone would be disappointed having that Short point list- * high priced dishes * poor food quality * food is not freshly cooked and not even served hot *garlic naan is also high priced *and thali is also not worth the price and has poor an limit for servings!

Worst experience dint like the food at all. It was very very expensive. The price was 2 to 3 times the normal price but the taste was below average. They charged Rs.850 for Rajasthani non veg thali, but not worth it. The mutton in it was rubbery and dint like the chicken. Would never recommend this to anyone. Totally disappointed. Waste of money.

Superb food. We stopped by in our way back from Ameer Fort. The restaurant seemed very popular, and indeed, we soon discovered why. The vegetarian fare was excellent - the dal was very tasty and hot, dum aloo amazing and paneer tikka delightful. Non-veg was also great - tried the Rajwada Special Chicken, amazing, and the Mutton Rogan Josh, also very flavorful. Service was extremely attentive and polite. I highly recommend Royal Rajwada!

During my trip to Jaipur on August 17, 2025, I visited a restaurant and ordered a non-vegetarian meal costing approximately Rs. 850; however, the chicken served to me was spoiled and emitted a strong foul odor, which I immediately brought to the supervisor’s attention. He confirmed that the food was indeed bad and hurried to the kitchen, which made me realize that not all five-star-rated restaurants maintain proper quality standards, as some rely on self-written reviews to mislead customers. To make matters worse, instead of addressing the issue seriously, the restaurant owner attempted to negotiate with me by offering complimentary cold drinks, but I refused and informed him that I would share this experience publicly on social media. Therefore, I strongly advise others not to visit this restaurant or waste money on its non-vegetarian dishes.

Australian tourist review - Nice homely restaurant with good food and a variety of Indian and western vegetarian dishes although lacking a little flavour. We got the vegetable & cheese maggi, vegetable and pesto sandwich - all of which were not bad but nothing extraordinary. We also got the pesto dosa, which was extremely sizeable and again not bad. The highlight was the dessert chocolate dosa which was delicious! The mango lassi and chocolate shake were also very good. Overall a nice location for a casual vegetarian bite (does not serve meat) at reasonable prices.

This popular café is located close to Amber Fort, and has seating both indoors and in a sunny verandah outside. We visited on a winter afternoon, so the verandah was appealing, while the interiors seemed a little closed and claustrophobic. Inside, the seating is a mishmash of styles, with ornate chairs and tables, framed pictures on the walls, and a largeish (for a restaurant) library of books. There are toilets, which are fairly clean, though a bit wet. The menu at Kokum offers various types of cuisine, ranging from Mediterranean (including pizza and pasta), to sandwiches, wraps, dosas, uttapams, idlis, North Indian/Rajasthani dishes (including thalis), and much more: there’s pretty much something for everybody here. We ordered a bajre ki roti with onion/potato/paneer, served with bathue ka raita and garlic chutney; our daughter ordered a plain idli. Everythign was delicious, though the bajre ki roti (two thick, ghee-soaked rotis) were so rich and heavy, we had to give up our idea of having a dessert and ended up only ordering coffee. Overall, a good place. It’s comfortable, laidback, and the food we ate was not just good but also fairly affordable (we paid Rs 1200 for our meal).

Lovely ambience. The menu provides a good choice. Loved the preparation and presentation style. The hosts, staff and particularly the Founders (Proprietors) Madam & Sir were so welcoming with their very hospitable nature and looked personally in attending, to ensure the guests get served the best way. One could feel the warmth & taste for excellence in everything and unique presentation. Mint water on each table also came across as a unique idea. One is thankful for the courteous hospitality. Location is an added attraction as it is located opposite the Amer Fort parking.

Absolutely must try this hidden gem! The food is so full of flavour and really high standard. Very close to the Amber fort and the step well. Relaxing, peaceful vibe. Surrounded by beautiful ancient architecture and hills. 110% recommend the thali, dosas and falafel wrap. We ate here a few times during our stay!

The hotel looks marvelous and has one the most elegant looking foyer of any 5 star hotel I have ever seen. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said about their multi cuisine restaurant. The food was quite bad and the same goes for the service. And price was too high for the kind of food that was served. Being a Taj hotel, they should do much better.

Shamiana at Taj Amer offers a fine dining experience with a blend of global and Indian flavors, set against a luxurious and elegant ambiance. Our visit included a mix of appetizers, continental flavors, and traditional Indian dishes, and while some dishes stood out, a few had room for improvement. Appetizers: We started with Vietnamese Paper Rolls, which came in a serving of four. Light, fresh, and flavorful, they made for a great starter. The balance of textures and taste was spot on, making it a refreshing way to begin the meal. Continental Selection: The Mediterranean Panini had a well-seasoned and flavorful dressing, but the bread was quite tough, making it a little difficult to enjoy. However, the Malfatti—traditional Italian parmesan cheese dumplings made from spinach and ricotta—was absolutely delightful. The melt-in-the-mouth texture and rich, creamy flavors made it the highlight of our continental picks. Highly recommended! Main Course: For the Indian mains, we opted for Paneer Pyaz Mirch, Dal Tadka, and Garlic Naan. The Paneer was absolutely mouth-watering, with a rich, well-balanced gravy and fresh ingredients. Unfortunately, the Dal Tadka did not live up to expectations, as it lacked the depth of flavor one would hope for in a classic comfort dish. The Garlic Naan was soft and delicious when served hot, but as it cooled, it became tough and difficult to break. Dessert: They have great options for dessert. We had coconut panna cotta and hazelnut chocolate torte. Both the items had great taste. Overall Experience: The ambiance of Shamiana is sophisticated, and the service is attentive, reflecting the Taj’s standard of hospitality. While some dishes truly impressed us, a few elements-like the texture of the panini bread, the dal’s flavor, and the naan’s consistency-could be improved. Must-Try Recommendations: Malfatti, Paneer Pyaz Mirch and the desserts stand out as clear winners! A refined dining experience with a few minor setbacks, but certainly worth a visit, especially for the ambiance and signature dishes.

So I visited this very recently & visited their landmark north indian restaurant. Looks wise it was decent, good looking but let's come to food. I ordered a Dal Tadka yellow dal, a Paneer Papad sabzi & some chilli parathas. The Paneer papad sabzi was sooooo good. Chilli parathas felt so authentic & wonderful. I mean, you know dining with Taj is never ever ever a disappointment. Outstanding dinner! Hospitality? Is it even a question with Taj. NEVER! TOP AS ALWAYS.

In last 20 years Jaipur Airport totally changed .. superb High class building structure.. grand reception.. heavy traffic of flight ✈️ s Now every service heavily costly.. very few stocks in custom cleared Dollars shop.. rates of canteen and parking drastically augmented. Getting your baggage through conveyor system is painful.. anybody can pick any item, no checking and awareness..no one to look after. Boarding pass staff taking too much time in compare to other cities Airports, say Indore, Lucknow, Bhopal etc. Atmosphere is charming and pleasant gives some satisfaction.

Walking into Jaipur Airport felt surprisingly pleasant……it’s clean, well-lit, and easy to navigate. Security checks were organized, and the staff were polite……though the queues can get a bit long during peak hours. Plenty of seating in the waiting area……but food options felt limited and overpriced. Wi-Fi works fine for quick browsing, and restrooms were clean, which is always a relief. Overall……not a huge airport, but it has a warm, welcoming vibe that matches the city’s charm. Just get there a little early if you’re traveling at busy times.

Jaipur airport is maintained by Adani group, the size of the airport is Small compared to other international airports. The maintenance is okay, at lower gates there is no enough space for passengers to stroll after their security check. It is better to carry food from outside of necessary, there are only 1 or 2 shops. Toilets available and well maintained

Terminal 1 is International Airport. Terminal 2 is domestic airport. We had gone to drop a relative to T2 and there were few changes. Earlier the cars could drop passengers at the departure and arrival gates. But now they have stopped this. For cars they have a separate parking where the passengers can deboard from their vehicles and have to walk to the gates. Trolleys are available here to make this walk easy. So if you are travelling after a long time to this airport, be ready for this.
