Restaurant
Hangar Cafe is a unique and captivating eatery that offers global cuisine in a spacious setting with scenic lake views. The cafe stands out for its distinctive airplane theme, incorporating decommissioned planes, humvees, and helicopters as eye-catching decorations. It's not uncommon to spot popular fictional characters like the Hulk and Iron Man on the premises, adding to the cafe's appeal.
This place is amazing, a must visit. Such a relating vibe, the waterfalls and setting is beautiful, they have a great selection of drinks, food and sweet treats. The staff are so helpful and friendly too! One of the best cafes in Thailand!
Lauren C — Google review
The entrance is nice with the old jet and army vehicles, inside it’s just 2 sala and some floor seating tables with cushions on a wooden deck next to the artificial “lake”. Food tastes good especially considering the low prices charged. I kind of felt that it’s getting neglected by owners, plenty of maintenance to be done.
Bjorn B — Google review
This cafe is very unique with planes and other war type vehicles. Love the atmosphere since you got nature mixed with old war vehicles. The food and drinks at this cafe is also very reasonable priced. We did cafe hopping all day so we weren’t that hungry but did order some dessert and drinks.
Iahc C — Google review
Stylish Setting, Room for Improvement Hangar Cafe offers a captivating design and theme, creating a unique and cozy atmosphere. However, the food could be improved, and the temperature inside was a bit uncomfortable. With some adjustments, it has the potential to be a top spot for both ambiance and cuisine.
Monica’s T — Google review
The place looks great, it's clean, surrounded by trees, and beautiful emerald water. There are 2 floors, the dining on the second floor is kinda small. The staff and service are nice. They have various types of food, drinks and desserts. However, they taste too sweet even for the sweet tooth like me. The price is quite high. The airplane, the car, and all the settings are kinda cool. The parking space is adequate.
王家英 — Google review
A unique place for a coffee shop. They included something out of the ordinary shops. It looks small on the outside, but, no it’s not! The sound of the man-made waterfalls is calming. It makes you wander and be lost in time. I like those colorful bean bags. They make you sit more, take more, and order more. Their coffee and tea are great. Finger foods are well served. Go and see it for yourself!
Christine A — Google review
Nice cafe with seats wrapped around a man-made lake and waterfall. The food and drinks are good and it has a relaxing atmosphere. It’s good for spending an afternoon with friends.
Miguel G — Google review
Great place to hang out with friends. Cheaper beverages but cool old and junk war machines to take pictures with. My boyfriend loved the place and I will definitely go back with him.

Kung Ob Phu Khao Fai

Mentioned on

Fusion restaurant
Kung Ob Phu Khao Fai is a must-visit Thai restaurant that truly stands out for its unique "volcano BBQ river prawns." This dish features seasoned prawns placed on a metal tray, topped with a striking volcano-shaped cover that creates an impressive display of flames as they cook. Diners can enjoy the succulent prawns dipped in a zesty lime garlic sauce, which adds an extra layer of flavor.
The volcano prawns really taste good 👍👍 THB800 for 1kg of L-size river prawns, about 10s per kg. Steamed fish with lemon 👍
Woh C — Google review
Very delicious I taste and super reasonable price too.

Great food. The shrimp with garlic was the highlight. I would come back just for it. It's almost gone by the time I took the picture
Sagita S — Google review
Love this place. This Thai food restaurant is famous for its "the volcano BBQ river prawns", if I'm using the right words. Basically, they put the seasoned prawn on a metal tray, put a metal "volcano looking" cover on top and cook it somehow. You can see flames shooting out of the top of the volcano. We ordered 3 trays of the prawns, everyone loved it! You can dip the prawns into a lime garlic sauce (they called it seafood sauce) excellent!. Just writing about this makes my mouth water. Other dishes were great too. It's too bad that I forgot to take any picture. The price was a bit on a high side, but compare to the quality of the food I say OK, once in a while kind of meal.
John S — Google review
I don't usually eat prawns, otherwise I ate one dish quickly here!
Naohiko H — Google review
The dishes are delicious (pig and the green vegetables are too salty) I waited too long for the dishes and I was full, and 3 dishes were not served! What a coincidence that 3 dishes appeared immediately when it was time to check out!

Dropped by on my way to Ratchaburi. It wasn’t crowded and the service was excellent. The orders came within 5 minutes. The food taste wasn’t so bad.

Niagara N Garden

Mentioned on

$$$$affordable
Cafe
Restaurant
Niagara N Garden is a massive restaurant and cafe sprawling over 40 rai, featuring extravagant decor including the country's largest fake waterfall and an actual Lockheed L-1011 airplane housing the Pour Over Lab cafe. Divided into two parts, the restaurant offers Thai and Western menus in a red brick and glass building, while the cafe zone inside the airplane frame serves drinks and desserts. The theme changes with various festivals, making it a hotspot for photo enthusiasts.
About an hour's drive out from where I live in Bangkok, but this place is a pretty cool cafe to come to check out. They serve up a wide variety of food along with specialty drinks and coffees. What makes this place truly shine is how amazingly well it’s set up. Lots of outdoor as well indoor sitting with comfortable sofas to sit at. Along with the cool cafe that is inside the airplane that you can walk up to. What captivated me so much about this place is that there is just so much to explore here. Checking out the wide variety of airplanes on the grounds as well as seeing the incredible artwork along the buildings, and the neat-looking waterfall set up. Can take lots of pictures here, and even get a cool photo opportunity within the airplane, and at the tail of it well. The base building is the main restaurant, and from since you can climb up the stairs to the second-floor cafe which houses the cafe. The food was good, but nothing that truly popped out for me. The spinach & cheese were quite delicious, but the consistency was a little more liquified than my personal preferences. The same goes for the small salad that came with it, the salad itself tasted delicious. But the lettuce wasn't cut enough to eat comfortably without struggling too much. The pasta was tasty as well, the portion size itself wasn’t too bad, and the flavor was good overall very nice presentation. The Salted Carmel Frappe was amazing, it was perfectly crafted in the cool measuring glass, and so refreshing to have while relaxing in the old cod pit section of the old airplane. No need to worry about parking, there is plenty of space, and easy to access the main building. The service was amazing, everyone was super polite and took care of whatever need we had. The restrooms were extremely nice and air-conditioned. The only true negative point is the pasta dish had a small chip on it, I know this can be a picky preference for some people.
Curtis — Google review
Great atmosphere! It was really exciting to see the big airplane. Sitting in the aisle seat and sipping coffee felt like being in a sky café. The coffee had a standard taste—nothing special—but considering the themed concept, the slightly high price felt reasonable.
Rattanasa — Google review
Is a very amazing restaurant & cafe... Restaurant is located in a huge land n with a huge parking area... Anyone who luv to take photos n selfie than I believe this is a nice place to take photos... There's afew big n small planes around the area plus a army boat park in the pond behind the restaurant... Restaurant have a huge range of food n drinks in their menu to choose.... Believe is a night spot for customers to relax with friends n family... Price is reasonable n affordable... Their food service is fast..n food is delicious 😋... Great Place to come on weekends n evening time...
Ricky H — Google review
Apart from barely any outside shades, no parasols, the restaurant looked dreary and the plane exhibition was just looking sad. There is a stall outside selling cheap toys. Go on a day that the air market is open as well, that might give a better overall experience. Good parking service and plenty of space. They provided a window cover for the sun.
Erwin ( — Google review
Very large area with old airplanes on the grounds. Food was varied (lots of choices in the menu) and tasty. From Thai food to steaks, everything tasted good. When visiting Nakhon Pathom it is worth popping in for a meal.
R J — Google review
An airplane theme restaurant and cafe with a man-made waterfall as a backdrop. There are two connected zones. A cafe zone for drinks and desserts locates inside an airplane frame. A restaurant zone offers Thai and western menu is in a red brick and glass building and provides a stair access to the cafe. Services and bills for the two zones are separated. This is probably to hinder restaurant patrons from occupying spaces in a cafe zone. A main draw to this place is definitely an airplane but there is also a small frigade in a lake in front of the waterfall. Toilet is clean with air-conditioned. Parking is plentiful. In summary, the restaurant is a good stop for food and coffee and photos.
Sukid P — Google review
came here because it has a lot of reviews on google and was completely disappointed. do not recommend this place at all. everything we ordered that was from the airplane cafe fridge smelled of durian, our blueberry cheesecake was so bad we couldnt finish it at all. the hot coffee was ok, everything else smoothie and peach tea was below average, ordered 5 things and costed over 600baht they have a new cafe downstairs witha nice atmosphere but they don't let you sit there unless you order pasta. which is stupid, because the airplane cafe upstairs is filled with noisy kids
K Z — Google review
Old planes graveyard kind of theme. Very well maintained and great atmosphere. Lots of choice for coffee and food. Tried their salmon spaghetti white sauce.. delicious

A little cafe that serves good cups of coffee and Bingsu. My iced-americano was very good. I also enjoyed their Strawberry Bingsu. the sauce is thick and flavorful. The cake here is not my favorite. The atmosphere is calm and good for a short break. Reasonable price and good vibes of the staff.

Coffee shop
Art cafe
Yuan Bao Bun&Bev is a newly opened cafe located in an old shophouse from the era of King Rama VII, featuring a classic and homey design inspired by Chinese aesthetics. The cafe offers a variety of impressive food and drinks, including Sichuan Wontons with customizable spice levels and unique coffee options like Menu Shakerato and Es-Yen. The spacious interior is decorated in a Chinese style, and the staff provides excellent recommendations.
Good coffee in an old style aka vintage Chinese oriented house. The shop has vast parking space behind the building with shades from big trees (be careful to park when it’s raining) We tried just their fizzy American which was really nice, too bad we just had lunch prior to the visit so there isn’t enough room for dessert or snacks but we would love to revisit.

We felt so lucky to find this place in Nakhon Pathom. The place is very stylish with a wonderful traditional colour scheme. The service is friendly & the staff were helpful. The food is great, definitely try the Chinese pastries if you can. There is also a vegan option of oat milk for drinks, the cappuccino and the Matcha latte were excellent!

The shop is decorated in a spacious, Chinese style. The staff recommends menus well. You can choose medium or dark roast coffee bean. Menu Shakerato:Shake Americano helps increase the body. Es-Yen:At this cafe, es-yen is made unlike other cafe,It looks like a latte. The taste is quite mild.

And if you come, don't miss the Sichuan Wontons (Boiled dumplings tossed in a savory sauce made from soy sauce, chili oil, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and garlic.) you can choose the level of spicy. The taste is so gooddddd.🤩🥟 The parking is available behind the cafe.

Suvarnabhumi Airport

Airport
Domestic airport
Suvarnabhumi International Airport (BKK) is a bustling airport located in the Bangkok area, offering various amenities such as a spa and a playground. The Airport Rail Link provides convenient transportation to and from the city center, with trains departing frequently throughout the day. For travelers with connecting flights or early morning departures, accommodations within the airport are available but can be pricey.
Suvarnabhumi International Airport (Bangkok) is a massive, modern, and well-organized airport — definitely one of the busiest I’ve seen. On arrival, there’s a long walkway that makes it easy to reach the baggage area. Right around baggage claim, you’ll find counters for tourist SIM cards. The popular package of AIS starts at 399 Baht (8 days, 15GB data + calls), and they even set it up in your phone — a great option for instant connectivity before stepping out. The arrival area has plenty of eateries and souvenir shops, so you can grab a bite or pick something up right away. On departure, the first thing I noticed compared to India is that the entrance gates aren’t heavily guarded — you can walk in and out freely. There are 10 entrance gates, with smoking rooms just outside Gates 1 and 2, and a Starbucks right inside Gate 1. The airport is very busy, with long queues at check-in and immigration, so reaching early is highly recommended. Inside, you’ll find endless check-in counters, self-check-in kiosks, lots of food outlets, souvenir stores, clean washrooms, and friendly staff. The infrastructure is huge, sleek, and modern — a proper international experience. Happy travelling!
Rushali R — Google review
I recently traveled through Suvarnabhumi International Airport and had a very smooth experience. I was truly impressed by how well the facilities are managed to ensure everything moves quickly and efficiently. Since I was traveling with an infant, I was initially concerned about the process, but to my surprise, everything was well taken care of. From check-in to security and boarding, the staff and arrangements made the journey comfortable and stress-free. The fast-track facilities and organized flow really stood out. Overall, it was a hassle-free experience, and I appreciate the care and attention given to passengers, especially those traveling with babies. Definitely one of the better international airports I’ve traveled through.
Suraj S — Google review
Tested by millions of visitors every year, accessible by bus, cars and metro. Many options for transport to main touristic destination organised by agencies on ground floor arrivals. Train is most convenient and cheapest way to get to downtown. Cheap food court on ground floor, prices inside airport are 3 to 5 times higher. Otherwise many choices for eating but rather expensive. Immigration check efficient when entering and even more efficient when departing, made by scanner only
Soko ( — Google review
Suvarnabhumi Airport – Bangkok (BKK) Modern, efficient, and beautifully designed. 🌏 Suvarnabhumi Airport is one of Asia’s most impressive airports — spacious, clean, and well-organized. The architecture is stunning with high glass ceilings and open spaces, giving a calm and modern feel. ✨ Check-in and security are generally smooth, and the signage is clear in both Thai and English. There are plenty of restaurants, cafés, and duty-free shops available before and after security. ☕🛍️ Transportation to the city is easy — you can take the Airport Rail Link, taxis, or hotel shuttles. It’s about 30–40 minutes to downtown Bangkok. 🚆🚕 💡 Tip: Arrive early for international flights — the airport can get busy during peak hours.
Hashem M — Google review
This is an international airport in Thailand, with facilities, environment, and services that are highly internationalized and first-class. If you arrive early, spend some time visiting the Paragon Mall. You'll find a pleasing array of trendy and high-quality products. It’s highly recommended to take a look around, you’re sure to make some unexpectedly wonderful discoveries. If you’re hungry, head to the food court in any area. You’ll find a wide variety of delicious international foods and cuisines that you’re sure to enjoy.

I recently had a fantastic experience at Suvarnabhumi Airport. Check-in was very quick and the overall flow through the airport was incredibly smooth. I was particularly impressed with the super fast immigration process for e-passport holders of all nationalities. Security was also simple and smooth, which really helped to start my journey stress-free. The amenities were great as well—the airport shuttle and lounge are really good. A truly efficient and pleasant international transit hub
Kiran R — Google review
Suvarnabhumi Airport is very large and beautifully designed with a modern look. It’s clean, well-organized, and easy to navigate even though it’s busy most of the time. There are plenty of shops and restaurants to explore while waiting for your flight, from local snacks to international brands. The facilities are well-maintained, and there are lots of seating areas to relax. Overall, it’s a comfortable and convenient airport that leaves a good impression before or after your trip to Bangkok.
Fatin R — Google review
• Very modern architecture – huge glass terminal, looks premium and international. • Wide variety of food – Thai, Japanese, international brands, cafés… especially good options after immigration. • Great for connecting flights – one of the best transit airports in Asia with many airlines. • Good signage & English everywhere – easier for Indian tourists as well. • Fast immigration most times (compared to India) – organized counters. • Long walking distances – terminals are huge, be ready to walk a lot. • Can be crowded – Bangkok is a top tourist destination, so peak hours are heavy. • Shopping expensive inside the terminal – duty-free isn’t always cheaper than Bangkok city malls. • Baggage arrival sometimes slow during peak hours.

Don Mueang International Airport

International airport
Domestic airport
Don Mueang International Airport, also known as DMK, is one of the two airports serving Bangkok and holds the distinction of being Asia's oldest airport, first opening its doors in 1914. After a period of closure following the opening of Suvarnabhumi Airport, it was renovated and reopened in 2012. The airport is well-connected to the city center through various transportation options such as the Sukhumvit Line and Airport Rail Link.
Great food options & fair prices after security! Was pleasantly surprised by how many food and drink choices there are after passing through immigration at Don Mueang Domestic Airport. From local bites to coffee shops and snacks, there’s something for everyone. And the best part? Prices are pretty much the same as outside—no ridiculous airport markup! 👏 It’s super convenient for grabbing a quick meal or coffee before your flight without feeling like you're getting overcharged. Clean, efficient, and much more traveler-friendly than expected. Perfect for domestic flyers who want a smooth and tasty pre-boarding experience. ✈️
Ellie O — Google review
I like how chill amd relaxed the vibe is at Don Mueang. Despite the number of people going through it it didnt feel cramped nor did it have that stressful rush that most big airports have but it still provides the modern comfort and convenience expected from any big airport. Checking in and dropping our bags was easy, all the staff who assisted us were extremely friendly and easy to interact with. While there were only a few open stores at the predeparture area there were more to choose from near the boarding gates however this becomes fewer again as you go further to the end. I just wish it was more spreadout. The same can be said with the vibe of the terminal. From tje central area including the checkin counters, most of the area feel modern but as you move to the boarding gates the dated look and feel of the terminal becomes more prominent. Despite that, there is plenty of seating for passengers and it still feels comfortable. Great experience going through Don Mueang, very easy to get through and has everything you need.

I was honestly amazed by how beautiful Don Mueang Airport is! The place feels so bright, clean, and modern the moment you walk in. It’s super spacious, so even with a lot of people around, it never feels crowded. The lounges and seating areas are really comfortable and give off a luxurious vibe. I also loved how well-organized everything is — from check-in to boarding, it’s smooth and hassle-free. Overall, it’s one of the most elegant and pleasant airports I’ve been to. Great work by thai government

Don Mueang International Airport offers a smooth and efficient travel experience. Immigration is fast, and the terminal is clean, organized, and not too large making it easy to navigate. The facilities are well-maintained and got free drinking water!!, giving a comfortable impression from arrival to departure. For a cheap and quick trip to the city, you can take the A1 or A2 airport bus at the end of terminal, which connects directly to Mo Chit BTS Station and the MRT system. A super convenient and traveler-friendly airport overall!

Terminal 2 on the south side serves domestic departures and arrivals, while Terminal 1 on the north side serves international departures and arrivals. A short corridor connects them, fully lined with seats and ample rest areas. The international departure area has a larger customs area, making it quite crowded. There are many public transportation options to and from the city. The air-conditioned Red Line subway and the non-air-conditioned windowed train are located on the south-most west side of the airport. To get there from Terminal 1 International, you need to go through Terminal 2 Domestic, a 600-700-meter walk. The airport shuttle bus stops outside the International Departures level of Terminal 1, located on the north-most west side of the airport, along the curb. Fares range from 30 to 50 baht, and the elevated express bus is a quick way to get there. 🎬2025.10

Good experience for us: Arriving in the evening with a domestic flight and departing the next morning with an international flight. Hopefully the airport stays open in the night. Some shops close, but many restaurants remain open. Sleeping isn't great if the wait is long, but acceptable for an experienced traveler. Immigration and baggage checks were also smooth and quick. In fact, the airport is really quiet in the evening.

It's a Quiet big airport with lots of eating shopping options.. this airport is even have a free kids playing area..nice ambience staff is helpful n friendly. airport was clean n big.. plenty of sitting area. Note they don't have smoking area inside airport. So if you areca smoker then smoke a cigarette before you reachbthe airport.

I think this airport is always developing to keep pace with international airports. They have improved the restrooms, shops, and also the design and decoration. It look much better than before. I don't recommend driving here because it's quite hard to find a parking spot. Taking a taxi or Grab is much more convenient. The drivers are reliable because I think the taxis are partners of the airport.
