The Sanctuary of Truth Museum

Mentioned on
26 lists
Museum
Sights & Landmarks
Sanctuary of Truth is a 20-story complex made entirely of hand-hewn wood carvings, still under construction but open for tours. Similar to the Tibetan sand mandala art, this massive teak structure is a blend of architecture and philosophy, depicting lessons from various religions emphasizing respect for elders, choosing company wisely, and treating others well. It serves as a remarkable place for reflection on higher ideals and the impermanence of life.
The Sanctuary of Truth is one of the most unique landmarks you can visit in Pattaya. It’s not just another temple — it’s a massive wooden structure built entirely by hand, filled with intricate carvings that mix Thai, Buddhist, Hindu, and even Khmer influences. What makes it even more special is that it’s still a work in progress, so you’re seeing a living project that continues to evolve. The level of detail in the carvings is incredible — everywhere you look, there’s a story being told through the woodwork. The building sits right on the coast, so the sea breeze and backdrop add to the atmosphere and make it a stunning spot for photos. Guided tours are mandatory, but they’re quite helpful for understanding the meaning behind what you’re seeing. You’ll also be given a hard hat in certain areas since parts of the building are still under construction. That said, there are a few things to keep in mind. The site can get busy, and since tours often run in groups, it sometimes feels a little crowded. The entry fee is on the higher side compared to other attractions in Thailand. Also, some visitors may feel uncomfortable with the elephant rides and animal shows offered on the grounds. If you go, I’d recommend visiting early in the morning or late afternoon to avoid the heat and enjoy softer light for photos. Dress modestly out of respect, and take your time walking through — it’s the kind of place where the details reveal themselves the longer you look. Overall, I’d say the Sanctuary of Truth is absolutely worth visiting. It’s a breathtaking blend of art, culture, and philosophy that leaves you reflecting long after you leave.
Melveen C — Google review
We came from Bangkok to Pattaya and found this place thanks to our driver. The entrance fee was very fair, and the ticket included several activities. You can choose, for example, to join a guided tour with other visitors. The site itself is truly stunning, with everything carved out of wood. It’s a real masterpiece and absolutely worth a visit. You can even rent traditional Thai clothing to take beautiful photos. Unfortunately, we didn’t have much time and couldn’t explore all the activities, but we highly recommend it!
Mirantee B — Google review
A poetry writen through wooden carvings, asembled in a meticulous way so as to be a wonder, a feast to our eyes. Begun in the year 1981, still going on and no one knows when it will be completed. A must visit tourist spot for all travellers while in Pattaya. Not far from the main city centre, a 20 minutes drive from Patong Beach area. Reach early to beat the crowd and the heat. Join the multilanguage tour which span for an hour to understand the concept of creation and an overall idea about the castle. Then take your own time to go through the galleries again, spent ample time to enjoy the carvings, take plenty of photos. Well maintained wash room, a coffee shop for refreshment are available just outside. A short walk outside the complex will give a panoramic view with the sea in the foreground. I really enjoyed the visit and some of the snaps taken there attached.
Bhaskaran R — Google review
Visiting the Sanctuary of Truth felt surreal, the sheer scale of the teak carvings left me quietly amazed. Walking through the halls, seeing artisans chiseled details by hand, gave it a living, breathing energy. The ocean backdrop adds serenity, though the steep entry fee and ongoing restorations were noticeable. Still, for me it was less a tourist stop and more a moment of awe at human skill and devotion. Guided tour available in different languages.
Projat S — Google review
Woo, stunning. The Sanctuary of Truth in Pattaya is an awe-inspiring all-wood structure showcasing intricate carvings that blend Thai, Hindu, Buddhist, and Khmer art. Set beside the sea, it offers a serene yet grand atmosphere. Guided tours explain the deep spiritual symbolism behind the craftsmanship, making it more than just a visual marvel. While the entrance fee is relatively high and some parts remain under construction, the experience is unique and memorable—ideal for those seeking culture and artistry beyond Pattaya’s usual attractions. PAM who she was our english guid was lovely, informative, funny and so kind.
Kambiz R — Google review
Visiting the Sanctuary of Truth was truly an experience. This is a museum which is in the ongoing process of renovation made completely out of wood. There are intricate carvings of Hindu and Buddhist influences and the museum is a pictorial depiction of themes of family love, peace, self fulfilment and many more. Our tour guide, Jaz, was the best- they put in so much energy to the session that everyone was naturally influenced to feel just as perked up. There are multiple activities available other than the site visit there- you can try woodworking with the carpenters who are building pieces outside, or going on a horse ride around the museum, or grab a snack near the river or even dress up in traditional Thai outfits and get your pictures taken. Definitely would be easily able to spend from half a day to a while day here.
Apoorva N — Google review
This place is beautiful! Definitely was more than I expected. The attention to detail was unmatched. There is a lot of walking included. I did see a person with mobility issues so there is a way for wheelchairs to access the premises, I'm just unaware of how that's done. You are required to have covered shoulders and knees as a sign of respect. There are rentals available for men and women to obtain appropriate entry attire. A deposit is left upon receipt of rental, and returned when the articles are returned. I was unfortunately on a time crunch when I attended. I recommend at least 3 hours to receive the full experience of the sanctuary. There are additional activities such as elephant trekking for those interested. Upon my return to Thailand I will be returning to the sanctuary to get experience the 7 truths.

Pattaya Floating Market

Points of Interest & Landmarks
Pattaya Floating Market is a vibrant and popular attraction that offers a unique shopping experience. It combines the charm of traditional Thai floating markets with the convenience of a reconstructed setting, making it safe and easy to navigate. Visitors can explore a wide range of high-quality goods, including clothing, handicrafts, art, and jewelry. The market also features cultural demonstrations and opportunities to dine on delicious Thai cuisine from various regions of the country.
Undoubtedly one of the best in the world. It was really a very delectable experience. The beautiful black gondola-like boat meandering through the narrow canals bordered by endless small shops on either side is an amazing sight, and, of course, an unforgettable experience. It was nice to watch the innumerable small boats serving as little shops selling everything on earth. One thing worth mentioning is the perfect cleanliness of the place. Hats off to the people and the authorities, for keeping such a busy place so neat and clean
Dr G — Google review
Pattaya Floating Market is a vibrant cultural experience with traditional Thai architecture, wooden bridges, and canals. Visitors can explore shops selling local handicrafts, souvenirs, and delicious Thai street food. While some find it a bit commercialized, it's still a great place to spend a few hours exploring and taking photos ¹ ².
Raja M — Google review
Interesting place for tourists but prices are higher compared to other markets. Can bargain a bit. It gets really hot from 10am to 4pm even if it's open space with covered walkways . Some local food stalls too. Can spend around 2 hours. The boat ride is nice but expensive. The water is visibly dirty.
Leotales N — Google review
Pattaya Floating Market is a popular tourist spot, but overall, it’s an mixed experience. The entrance fee is on the higher side compared to what it offers. While the concept of a traditional floating market sounds exciting, the actual arrangement and environment are not as impressive or authentic as expected. The beauty and charm that one might hope for are somewhat lacking. It’s more of a place to check off from a list rather than one to truly enjoy. Worth a short visit if you’re nearby, but not something to go out of your way for.
Shahzad S — Google review
A floating market was something that had always been on my list for some time while visiting Thailand. I had an image of vendors floating from place to place, selling their produce, but my initial reaction to this place, was one of surpirse as i thought it was just an openair marekt on pillars.... It took me some time exploring to discover that thee were small boats, providing food to the visitors, but it didn't really satisfy my expectations of a floating market. That being said, it was an enjoyable time there and i enjoyed making photos, like i always like to do. I booked a boat tour, which brought me to some nice views for making photos. There are plenty of shops to get souvinirs and i did exactly that..... I didn't dare try the grilled crockadile meat and some other exotic foods, but for the die hard, there are some options to try....
Paul P — Google review
I visited Pattaya Floating Market around 5 p.m. and it turned out to be a beautiful experience with lots of aesthetic corners and charming little details perfect for photos. Entry is ticketed but no pre-booking is required—you can simply buy at the gate. The first section has a walkway with Indian and Thai restaurants, and once you cross that, you step into the floating market itself—shops set around the water selling clothes, souvenirs, paintings, and cute charms. Most of the items are a bit overpriced, but the food here is surprisingly cheap and very delicious. Highly recommend trying the ostrich skewers (a must!), chicken & pork gyoza, and the grilled pork skewers—flavorful and pocket-friendly. I also tried a Thai Milk Slurpee (cream cheese cookies flavor—peculiar but tasty once you develop the palate) and a mangosteen popsicle—sweet, tangy, and very unique. You’ll also find lots of photo-worthy corners and good spots to shop for handbags, trinkets, clothes, souvenirs, paintings, etc. There are also boating options inside and you can dress up in traditional Thai outfits for photos. As dusk falls, the market lights up with yellow lanterns, giving the whole place a cozy, magical vibe. It’s very different from the mainstream Pattaya beach scene and definitely worth a visit for a cultural and foodie experience. You can reach here easily via Grab app or a local taxi. One thing to note: the market closes strictly at 7 p.m. sharp. At that point, everything is wrapped up, lights go out, and it suddenly feels quite dark and abandoned with no one escorting visitors out—so plan your visit accordingly. Happy Exploring!
Rushali R — Google review
We visited this place as a part of our city tour package. The place is not very clean. They offered lunch in the package as well but we did not take the lunch there as the place did not look very clean. But the place is a great place to get the cultural exposure to the Thai culture and you can do some shopping here as well
Nirmani S — Google review
Pattaya Floating Market is a charming and vibrant place that offers a unique cultural experience. It’s beautifully designed to reflect traditional Thai architecture, and walking through the wooden bridges and canals really gives you the feeling of being in old-world Thailand. There are plenty of shops and stalls selling local handicrafts, souvenirs, clothes, and delicious Thai street food. The boat ride was a lovely touch – cruising through the canals while seeing the market from the water added an extra layer of charm. There are also live performances and cultural shows throughout the day, which are fun and colorful. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that some parts felt a bit commercialized, with prices higher than usual local markets. It’s also quite busy during peak hours, so coming early is a good idea to avoid crowds and heat. That said, it’s still a great place to spend a few hours exploring, taking photos, and enjoying authentic Thai snacks. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Pattaya and want to experience something traditional and family-friendly. A fun and scenic destination for tourists of all ages!

Nong Nooch Botanical Garden is a sprawling 500-acre attraction that offers a diverse range of experiences. In addition to its themed gardens showcasing Thai culture, it features elephant shows and rides, as well as a variety of dining options. The garden is one of the largest botanical gardens in Southeast Asia and boasts an array of plant species, including orchids, bonsai trees, and cacti. Visitors can also enjoy performances, activities, and even explore a small zoo within the expansive grounds.
The views are stunning. Endless colourful gardens , amazing landscape beautifully maintained areas everywhere. The dinosaurs statues were huge and very realistic. Wonderful botanical garden worth visiting.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Nong Nooch Garden is a beautiful place in Pattaya and really worth the visit. The gardens are huge with so many zones — orchids, cactus, French style, and even dinosaur valley. Everything is well kept and perfect for photos. There are cultural shows, elephant shows, and a sightseeing tram if you don’t want to walk too much. Lots of food options inside too. The ticket price is fair. If you book online on sites like Trip.com, it’s even cheaper. Best to plan at least half a day here because there’s so much to see. Tips: Go early, wear comfy shoes, and bring sun protection. Some people may not like the animal shows, so keep that in mind. Overall, I had a great time — beautiful, relaxing, and very good value. Highly recommend! 🌿✨
Nick K — Google review
Overall park itself was big and beautiful and elephants there were also impressive. Mobility service was also great convenience but.... too much dinosaurs even some are artificially created one... was... not really great. May kids are like this but not for adults tourists. If you feel tired by heat then visit BigC

Well one of the must visit place in Pattaya. You can visit here with your family or friends and spend some quality time. It is away from the main city ,you can book a cab or any group tour. But you can easily get Grab/bolt. This place needs your full day to explore. This place is good for childrens. Tickets should be book in advance.
Abhishek S — Google review
If you are three lover and interested in knowing different varieties of tree plants, flowers, this is the place for you to go. It’s huge categorised in proper manner. Be ready to walk more. Spend time over there or else you can just take a tour from outside (you won’t be able to see much from outside). The elephant show place is also nearby, so if you are planning to go over there, then take little extra time to visit there as well. It can be a day affair.
Megha S — Google review
Breathtaking Gardens*: The garden spans over 600 acres, featuring meticulously landscaped zones, including a French Garden, Animal Sculpture Garden, and Stonehenge replica. - *Dinosaur Valley*: Explore life-sized dinosaur replicas scattered across the grounds, perfect for family photos and sparking kids' imagination. Luxury Car Exhibition*: Marvel at the impressive collection of luxury cars showcasing the owner's passion.
Foody M — Google review
I think Nong Nooch Tropical Garden sounds absolutely spectacular! From what I’ve seen, it’s more than just a garden—it’s an immersive experience with meticulously designed landscapes, themed gardens, and vibrant tropical plants everywhere you look. It seems like the kind of place where you can wander for hours, discovering something new at every turn, and the attention to detail makes it feel both magical and serene. Honestly, it’s the type of garden that makes you appreciate the beauty of nature on a whole new level.
Kanchan V — Google review
For the show in the theater, only the first part of it worth seeing, showing about the traditional Thai provience clothing's and dance. The second part is some old pop song with fancy dancers. Other places of this garden is too big to walk, although you can take the sightseeing mini bus, but only you will see some concrete dino and animal statue. Food inside is good and cheap, no worries.

Underwater World Pattaya

Mentioned on

Aquarium
Nature & Parks
Underwater World Pattaya is the city's sole aquarium, offering a diverse showcase of Thailand's marine life. Despite its smaller size compared to other aquariums, it boasts an impressive array of sea creatures from various underwater environments. Visitors can engage in unique experiences such as feeding koi fish from bottles, encountering sharks and rays up close, and exploring Thailand's largest collection of jellyfish.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Underwater Pattaya is an absolutely amazing experience! 🌊🐠 The atmosphere inside is mesmerizing, and the way everything is presented makes you feel like you are walking through the ocean itself. The variety of marine life is fascinating, from colorful fishes to unique sea creatures, all beautifully displayed. The maintenance is top-notch—clean, well-organized, and perfectly managed, which adds to the comfort of the visit. It’s also very family-friendly and great for kids as they learn and enjoy at the same time. The glass tunnel and large aquariums are breathtaking highlights. Truly, it’s a must-visit attraction in Pattaya that gives you unforgettable memories and a deeper appreciation for the underwater world. 🌟
Rishi — Google review
Not worth the ticket price. There are very few fish overall, and most of the tanks feel quite empty. The underwater tunnel is divided into three zones, but there’s not much to see in any of them. It might be okay for a quick visit if you have limited time, but don't expect too much.
Paleerat W — Google review
The entrance fee for Thai visitors is 250 THB. Inside, it’s actually quite small with only three tunnel sections, mostly featuring sharks and rays. Personally, I didn’t find it very impressive and don’t think it’s worth the ticket price, as there aren’t that many animals to see. The air conditioning wasn’t very cool either. I went on a weekend and it was quite crowded. Since there’s only one entrance and exit, it felt a bit cramped. That said, the stingrays were absolutely adorable. They seemed to instinctively pause and let visitors take photos, which I found really cute and charming. They were definitely my favorite part of the visit.🫶🏻🩵 I’d recommend going on a weekday instead for a better experience.
Cheese C — Google review
Area is definitely smaller than expected, but it's still quite nice to visit and see animals. Not much food but there are a selection of drinks. (Your ticket has certain discounts when purchased. At least for booking.) Queue definitely took quite awhile, I suggest booking before hand as it made the whole procedure much faster in comparison to those who didn't. (Seemed like they needed a passport for identification? Unsure)
Angel — Google review
Great place to visit. Takes about 1 hour to see it all. My favorite are the three tunnels that go under huge tanks. One of them have giants of Siam, incredibly large fish that you can appreciate while feeling immersed in the ocean. I recommend to go to their feedings, it was spectacular to watch. The diver really tries to show give you a good show while feeding the animals.
Vanida A — Google review
Great place to visit. Tourists pay more. A few long glass tunnels so you can see all the sea life. Very well though out. Tanks and ponds too. Be sure to go there if you are in Pattaya. Take the kids No waiting pay cash 600tb when I went. Check Booking.com price my be more expensive than the gate.
Jolyon W — Google review
It was not a bad experience for underwater world but a bit grumpy for very small world. I did not expect high but if they can give more enjoyable things like as more varieties, more special fish that we never seen or to the cold weather when we walked to see the world.
Tanadchai A — Google review
Great underwater glass tunnel aquarium. BE AWARE OF THE DOUBLE PRICING SYSTEM (THERE'S A ENTRY FEE FOR FARANGS AND A LOWER ONE FOR THAI PEOPLE). Example: You're there with three Thais make sure you buy three tickets for Thai Nationals and one for a Foreigner. Once you paid there'll be NO NO NO NO NO Refund.

Walking Street in Pattaya, Thailand is a vibrant and lively promenade that comes alive at night. The surrounding side streets offer even more choices for nightlife enthusiasts. From karaoke bars to sports bars and discotheques, there's something for everyone here.
Lots of fun things to do in this street. It gets more lively after 21:00 or 22:00.

I don't think it's suitable for families, but it's a good place for single people. It's fun. You can have a good time.

My opinion is that the walking street is not suitable for family to visit. There are many bars and clubs located both side of walking street. It is a good place for drinking and fun. Even though there are many food shops located along the main road but prime activities are for adults.

Jomtien Beach, also known as Chom Thian, is a serene 6-km stretch of sand lined with trees and offering various amenities such as loungers, bars, restaurants, and water sports. The beach provides uninterrupted views of Pattaya Bay and the surrounding area. Visitors can explore the hilltop viewpoint which offers panoramic views of Pattaya and Jomtien at any time of the day.
Jomtien Beach is a nice, long beach with a huge promenade that's perfect for a walk. It has a relaxed atmosphere with plenty of sun umbrella areas and food stalls, making it a great place to spend the day. I found it to be especially enjoyable during the day. Just be aware that some sections are currently under construction, so you might need to watch out for that. Also, people tend to do a lot of activities early in the morning, which adds a lively touch to the atmosphere.
UEM — Google review
Visited on the weekend and it wasn’t crowded at all—not surprising though, as the water isn’t very clean. It's okay for a stroll or to relax by the shore, but not ideal for swimming. Also, be careful if you're a tourist—many shopkeepers charge quite high prices, so it’s best to compare or ask locals first. Still, it's a more peaceful alternative to Pattaya Beach.
Kezang D — Google review
I Recommend It’s a nice, quiet spot with hardly any crowds. There are plenty of yummy places to eat, and the beach is clean and super chill. After your meal, you can just stroll around, enjoy the view, and soak up the sea breeze It makes me feel at ease and truly relaxed, like I’m spending quality time with myself.
Rakna 3 — Google review
Jomtien Beach offers a calmer and more relaxed vibe compared to the busier Pattaya Beach. The shoreline is long, clean, and perfect for a quiet stroll, sunbathing, or enjoying the sea breeze. The water is fairly good for swimming, and there are plenty of options for water sports like jet skiing and parasailing. What makes Jomtien stand out is the balance between peaceful spots and lively areas with beachside restaurants, cafés, and bars. Street food stalls and fresh seafood are easily available at very reasonable prices. The beach is also well-connected, making it easy to reach from Pattaya city. Overall, Jomtien Beach is an excellent choice if you’re looking for a more laid-back beach experience while still being close to the action.

Sit back and enjoy the cool sea breeze, watch the sun slowly set. The atmosphere here is more romantic than I thought. Come in the evening, it's not too hot, and the atmosphere is good.

Incredible fun waterpark with stunning garden and double wave pool. Amazing view from the top of the rides surrounding by the mountains. We have so much fun. Must visit!!! I definitely take the kids here again. Service needs to be improved from the ticket counter to information. Someone has stolen the kid glasses from the house we rent and no security check, no CCTV. No one ever walks to cleck but only says nobody has returned it yet.

We had so much fun here. Got our tickets online with a discount. Aside from water activities they also have table tennis and badminton. I love that they have a lot of stalls for food. Definitely a must try when you visit Pattaya. Also there’s free videos for the rides, just tell the operator and they will scan your wristband and you can claim your free videos on a machine and send it to your email.

A great water park, neat and clean. Plenty of places to eat and drink. A wide selection of slides. Towels can be rented for 100 baht. Small lockers large enough for a reasonable-sized bag are free, and larger lockers are available for rent. Unfortunately, it rained almost all day, which is a shame, but in good weather it's worth it. There are discounts in case of rain, but you have to ask for them, hence the lower star rating.
Ed R — Google review
Except the prices, everything’s great. There are many fantistic slides, pools water flows where can make everybody feels exciting. But the only problem of this place is very expensive price of all kind of things which sells inside, not only the entrance, locker fee but also the foods and drinks. They inspect every customer’s bags completely to check and prohibit of bring in own foods at the gate. Only the drinking water is allowed.

We came on a Saturday and really expected to have to queue at many attractions, but that was not the case at all. The park is huge and therefore many people are spread out and the queue times are very reasonable. If you come early you are guaranteed to not have to queue anywhere. The park is absolutely amazing with many attractions available, including multiple thrill rides. Highly recommended!

It’s so much fun and amazing setup for families with kids or friends who want to play existing games or relaxing. Helpful staff and great facilities are always clean and welcoming to everyone to use. This was amazing! We went as a family of six, four children and two adults. It would be hard to say who had the most fun. There are ample food stands, wait times were quick, the water was clean and sparkling, all the staff were lovely. My feet did get a bit sore, but as the website says - take shoes for your own comfort. Highly recommend. We were having so much fun we forgot to reapply sunscreen, don't make our mistake. Would absolutely love to visit again

Mini Siam is a captivating miniature park that showcases scaled-down replicas of famous landmarks and historical buildings from Thailand's rich history as well as iconic sites from around the world. Visitors can marvel at miniatures of renowned cultural sites such as Wat Arun, Ananta Samakhom Throne Hall, and Wat Phra Kaew, alongside European landmarks like the Tower Bridge and the Eiffel Tower. The park offers a unique opportunity to feel like a giant while exploring these intricate models.
A useful tip: buy the train ride ticket along with your entrance ticket. It’s cheaper that way, and the mini train ride is a must-do! It’s a fun, relaxing ride around the park, and honestly, it feels like stepping back into your childhood. Mini Siam is a fantastic place to explore miniature versions of world-famous landmarks and wonders — from the Eiffel Tower to the Statue of Liberty, all in one spot! It’s a great place for both adults and kids to enjoy. I recommend visiting in the evening, when the weather is cooler. Avoid the afternoon if possible — it gets really sunny and hot, which can make it hard to enjoy walking around. Don’t miss this charming attraction — especially the train ride!
Gowtham K — Google review
It’s a relatively large and beautiful place, and the models of famous landmarks are nicely made. However, some of them, like the Statue of Liberty, were painted dark blue instead of white, which looked quite unrealistic. Also, there was no model representing Iran, even though the country has such a rich history and amazing architecture. Considering the large number of Iranian tourists, there definitely should have been a model from Iran to reflect its rich culture.

One of the interesting places to see while in Pattaya. It has miniature forms of various monuments of the world. After buying tickets one can enter and have nice clicks. Kids and even adults can have train ride... There is also a restaurant where one can have eatables. Anyhow there is Mac Donald's outlet just at the entrance with parking...

2 stars for the « historic » point of view, in the sense that it gives you an opportunity to go back in time and see what could have been an interesting place 25-30 years ago. Although the original pieces presented there were probably amazing when freshly installed, the poor maintenance makes this whole site quite sad. We didn’t try the train tour which looks fun because we didn’t have much time. We spent 45 minutes on the site and it was more than enough. Staff was kind, bathrooms were clean, but I’m not sure it was a good idea to paint cannabis leafs in the family bathroom. Nothing against it, and to be honest the whole artwork is nice and creative, but it felt a bit awkward for this type of tourist, family-oriented attraction. Would fit better in a local bar or trendy restaurant. I salute the intention! The price is a bit expensive given the overall experience. At that price I would not recommend visiting. Not worth the detour, but ok if you have some time to spare around.

Visited during rain. No toy train was working. Kept place in good condition. Entry fees are bit high. Ok place to visit.

Very good to see of the mini landmarks about the park, its not very long to see about the park maybe 1 hour. There's no taxis outside for pick up so make sure to have transport for yourself after. Was a good experience though, we had a free kiddies train round the park which was pretty funny to do.

It one of the coolest place visited in Pattaya. You can get to see many monuments at one place. Plan to visit during sun set and continue to see with lighting. Luckily when we went weather was pleasant.

Beach
Pattaya Beach is a bustling and popular destination with a 4 km crescent-shaped coast divided into three zones: north, center, and south. Visitors can enjoy lounging on beach chairs, engaging in water sports like parasailing, or exploring the nearby restaurants and shops.
Pattaya Beach may not be the most pristine or quiet beach, but it’s quite relaxing for a morning walk. The best time for strolling around is early in the morning if you really want to enjoy the beach. The atmosphere is peaceful, the sea view is pleasant, and it’s great for a casual walk or some quiet time by the water.

A lovely spot with sandy shores and inviting waters, Pattaya Beach shines in June when it’s pleasantly uncrowded and peaceful. it could be a bit cleaner during this off-peak time, and the vibrant city lights at night create a beautiful, relaxing view along the coast. Ideal for unwinding evening strolls by the sea with a soothing breeze and calm ambiance.
Mahir H — Google review
it is quite a fine beach but it is such an urban area so it doesn't feel relaxing at all, but it is certainly a good place to watch the sunset and lovely place for a walk.

Pattaya Beach is lively with soft sand, clear water, and lots of water sports. The beach road has cafes, food stalls, and nightlife spots. Good for fun and activities, but can get crowded and noisy. Great for tourists, not ideal for peace lovers.

Nice indoor play place with different attractions. Some attractions are little scary for young kids but some are fun for all ages. Staff are nice and attentive. Would recommend ticket package purchase, great deals!

I have walked around the area many times yet never paid to go into the attractions which appeared to cost B800/person for each one you enter Personally I think that's expensive. Obviously meant for the the tourists, who are supposedly rich with cash to flash I can see and photograph all I want to see for free. I have never seen many people going into the separate attractions or even walking around, but maybe it gets busier at night I find it relaxing and a way to coold down from walking in the sun

There are 8 rides in total. 1. Ripley's Believe It or Not! Odditorium (a fact that you have to prove with your own eyes) I've been here in 2013. At that time, I came with my friends. It was so much fun. There are many photo spots around the area. Just stopping by to take photos is worth it ^^ There are 8 rides to choose from 😊

Great place to have adventure n adrenaline rush… few activities could be scary and may not be suitable for kids or elderly with health conditions… located in pattaya beach road is must visit if you are in Pattaya… experience will be remembered for long time… recommend to buy tickets in advance through tour agents to have lower priced options rather buy at counter… highly recommended activity.

Ripley’s Believe It or Not! in Pattaya, Thailand, offers a bold mix of the bizarre, the spooky, and the spectacular. Located on the third floor of Royal Garden Plaza along Beach Road, it feels like an indoor amusement park with seven distinct zones—making it a great way to escape Pattaya’s intense heat. The Odditorium features over 300 strange and fascinating exhibits, including shrunken heads, human-skin masks, and a massive Titanic replica made from matchsticks. Visitors can choose between 3, 5, or all 7 attractions, which include the Odditorium, a wax museum, a mirror maze, the haunted “Scream in the Dark” and “Haunted Adventure,” a laser maze, and a 9DX/12D Moving Theater. This variety makes the experience engaging and dynamic. Many visitors describe it as fun for a few hours, and staff are praised for their friendly and helpful attitude. Some of the haunted attractions are considered genuinely spooky and well done. While the museum is generally well-maintained, some guests feel it has a slightly dated or retro vibe. Others mention the ticket prices being a bit high for what’s offered. However, the mix of curiosity, entertainment, and air-conditioned comfort makes it a worthwhile stop, especially for families or groups. Booking online in advance is recommended, and it’s best to plan around 2–4 hours for the full experience. Overall, it’s a quirky and fun place to explore, offering something different from typical tourist spots in Pattaya.

Excellent place and great services with friendly staffs. Amazing and unbelievable here. We went to visit the lost pyramid and Wow Wow! Amazing and very interesting, that you must come to visit if you come to Pattaya Thailand.

Fun but pricey – we went as 5 people for 3 attractions and paid almost 7k baht. Overall a good time, but the staff lady today at the laser maze was a bit rude.

The good ol' Ripley's still swinging it in his Museum. It like a travel in time, and suddenly the very old times doesn't seem so far away after all. Well. There are many other attractions rooms: The loud bangs and hefty attempts to scare you is genuine dedication, but the pricetag for one entry is 2099THB, per person!! Thai citizens has 15% off, but you have to show the Thai ID for this and it feels a bit like paying the monthly rent when going in here.. its fun though, and with company you have fun together. But its very expensive, more than usual was the feeling...

Mum Aroi Restaurant - Na Kluea Branch is a popular and affordable seafood restaurant in Pattaya, known for its fresh and high-quality seafood. The restaurant's prime location in the fishing area ensures that diners enjoy the freshest catches at reasonable prices. With about 100 tables, guests can savor their meals while feeling the cool sea breeze and listening to the soothing sound of waves. Additionally, a live band performs every night from 8pm, adding to the vibrant atmosphere.
Big established restaurant by the sea. No beach, but the restaurant is built next to the waters so there’s ample sea breeze and great views of the sea. Orders came pretty fast. Despite the busy atmosphere the staff were attentive enough to top up ice and drinks. Servings are quite generous for the price point. Seafood is fresh and well made. Plenty of parking opposite the establishment. There’s even a bakery with very good cakes within if u have space after…

It's a restaurant for a big group of people. When we got there and ordered, the service was good and promptly. Unfortunately what we ordered, was very salty and strong smell. Overall it was good and some of the dishes were let down.

The seafood here is super fresh! 🐚🦐🦀 Great atmosphere, high-quality ingredients, and tasty dishes — though the flavors might be a bit mild for Thai taste. Food comes out fast at first, but if you order more later, expect some wait time ⏳. I recommend ordering everything at once. We visited during a long holiday and could walk in without a reservation 🙌. Staff were lovely and helped us get a seaside table 🌊. The view was amazing! Highly recommend coming around 5 PM — perfect lighting, cool breeze, and not too hot 🌅. Definitely worth a visit! 🌴✨

Moom Aroi Na Kluea is the best seafood place I found on my trip. The fried fish is so juicy and tasty. The prawns are huge, super fresh, and sweet—like they came straight from the sea. I also tried the spicy shrimp soup, and wow, full of flavor but not too hot. Every dish is simple but really good. The restaurant is right by the beach with a chill vibe. You can sit outside, feel the breeze, watch the sunset, and relax. They have many kinds of cold beer and some nice wines too. Perfect for a fun night with friends or family. The staff are friendly and fast. Prices are quite high for such quality food. I went twice and will come back next time I’m here. If you love seafood, you have to try this place

The food was absolutely delicious. Fresh ingredients have been used and you could taste it in every dish. We were early than the crowd, otherwise couldn’t imagine when they are full house. Even though there was a big fan next to us, we sweated while sitting at the patio, it was quite a warm day, so pick your table wisely if you could. Plenty of parking and staff. We’ll definitely come back if we are in the area.

A brilliant spot for sunset cocktails. Stunning views, delicious drinks, sophisticated ambience, great service, and no nonsense pricing. Happy hour cocktails - 450B for 2. Well satisfied. Kudos to the Hilton for putting net prices on the menu. A refreshing and welcome change. Thank you. Recommend the Sea Breeze for refreshing and the Pina Colada for tropical seaside vibe. This is a Pattaya must visit. Enjoy!

Horizon staff is really fantastic! Manager fulfilled my request to reserve the best seat and also helped to keep my present & serve with the complimentary dessert to surprise my wife for our anniversary. She even decorated the plate which my present was served on, maximum service 👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿 Waitress Nice was also nice to us throughout the whole evening and made our night a pleasant one. Ambience was of course awesome and the view is chef’s kiss. Food was on a smaller portion size but quality is good. The complimentary chocolate cake dessert is fantastic. Cod is also cooked to perfection.

Got lucky to have a DJ playing that night. Loved the black and white visuals playing. They make a solid old fashioned there. You will be paying quiet a bit for food and drink, but its somewhat expected from a 5 star hotel with a view.

Horizon Hilton Bar Pattaya nails the experience where it counts: sweeping views, expertly mixed drinks, and polished, attentive service. It’s a fantastic spot for sunset cocktails or a celebratory night out. The only miss was the food perfectly passable but not memorable. If they elevate the bar bites to match the cocktails and service, this would be a no-brainer five-star. Until then, go for the skyline, stay for the drinks.

The place is truly incredible for Pattaya. Since I was staying at the Hilton, it was very convenient to access. It’s a great spot to have dinner and enjoy a few glasses of wine before heading out to Walking Street. The oysters were absolutely excellent. The only downside is that the service could be improved a bit, as it’s sometimes hard for the staff to see us in the dark. Pattaya definitely needs more places like this.

MAYs Pattaya, part of a well-known Thai restaurant chain, is renowned for its top-notch Thai cuisine served in a warm and inviting atmosphere. The extensive menu offers a variety of options including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free dishes. The restaurant boasts an impressive interior with dark walls adorned with unique paintings and indoor plants. Guests can also enjoy outdoor seating while savoring their meals. While the prices may be slightly higher than expected, the experience and quality of food make it worthwhile.
May’s Restaurant in Pattaya is a true gem! From the moment we stepped in, we were captivated by the sophisticated and elegant decor. The ambiance is warm and inviting, making it the perfect place for a relaxing meal. The service was overall impressive—fast, friendly, and attentive. The staff made us feel welcome, and we appreciated the thoughtful touch of a complimentary refreshing pineapple shot and a delicious starter to begin our meal. However, one waiter took some of our items without checking if we were finished, which was a bit unexpected. Aside from that, the team provided excellent service throughout our visit. Now, the highlight—the food! Each dish was beautifully presented in a unique way, using stunning dishware that enhanced the dining experience. The flavors were rich, well-balanced, and absolutely delicious. Every bite left us wanting more! The attention to detail in both taste and presentation truly sets May’s apart. A special mention goes to their hot teas—they were not just warm but deeply comforting, perfect for the soul. If you're looking for a place in Pattaya that offers a refined yet welcoming atmosphere, outstanding food, and great service, May’s Restaurant is an excellent choice. We’ll definitely be back!

Excellent friendly service, beverages and food. The menu offerings were fantastic and every dish we ordered was masterfully created, not too spicy and a lot of fresh Thai herbs . We ordered 6 items to share and everyone of the dishes was delicious. The was only one small negative and that was a large group who were constantly using their speaker phones which effected the beautiful ambiance. I did finally mention it to a server and she did mention it to them, I wish I had addressed it sooner. Restauranteurs need to address this disrespectful behavior.

Found this place by accident because we were looking for a place with air conditioning and found this gem. The restaurant was beautifully designed and the staff was super friendly. We got so many things on the menu and everything was beautifully placed and equally delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant if you ever go to Pattaya. I was also shocked that the employees could speak Mandarin because they spent two years in Taiwan! We ordered much more than what we should have, but we didn't regret it!
Kaio R — Google review
Great service. Great atmosphere. Great food. Don’t expect low prices. Having said that, the experience and the food is absolutely worth it. Our server was an absolute gem. There is a toilet inside. We did order a roti that was forgotten about however all 4 of us were comped a coconut ice cream instead which was DELICIOUS. We’re usually big market / street food eaters but we wanted a sit down in between day trips. This place would be easy to walk past as it’s tucked away in behind its own little garden. If you go for one sit down meal in Pattaya make it mays! Only lost a star because of the roti, which was not an issue at all but unfortunately doesn’t make it perfect.

The restaurant takes pride in its attention to detail and offers an impressive selection of wines from around the world. This was my second time dining at this restaurant, and once again, it exceeded all expectations. It’s truly one of the most remarkable culinary experiences I’ve ever had. The atmosphere is elegant, the service impeccable, and the food — unforgettable. The duck was perfectly cooked: tender, juicy, with a crisp, flavorful skin. The lobster risotto was rich, creamy, and bursting with freshness, generously topped with lobster. Every dish reflects true craftsmanship and a deep passion for fine cuisine. I’ll definitely keep coming back.

The restaurant is very cozy, and the service is impeccable. The wine pairings were right on spot for the food served. The beef wellington was pure magic, it really melted in your mouth. I think it's probably the best restaurant in Pattaya area. However, it's not a star level restaurant, there are a few details here and there that still can be improved upon. And I find that peculiar, as they have already gone about 80% of the way there, why not take the last few steps as well and put a star on the wall as well?

It had been a while since my last visit to Café des Amis in Pattaya, and I’m pleased to say it’s still absolutely exceptional — possibly even better than before. I’ve never considered myself a foodie or expert on fine dining, but I know quality when I see it — and this place delivers on every level. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between elegant and relaxed, making it ideal for a special occasion or treat. On this visit, I took my girlfriend (a chef herself) and we opted for the 7-course tasting menu. From lobster to steak, foie gras to sushi, every dish was executed to perfection. The ingredients were clearly of the highest quality, the flavours were spot on, and the presentation was flawless. Service throughout the evening was attentive, friendly, and professional — the kind of smooth experience that elevates the entire meal. One thing that really stood out this time was the private conservatory area — a brilliant addition that adds a more intimate touch to the experience. Hats off to the team and management. This was without doubt one of the finest meals I’ve had in Pattaya. If Michelin ever gives the city a look, Café des Amis should be right at the top of the list. Highly recommended — treat yourself. You won’t regret it.

A Masterpiece of Culinary Theatre – Café des Amis, Pattaya Having travelled extensively and dined at some of the world’s most renowned establishments, I can say with conviction that Café des Amis in Pattaya stands among the very finest. The experience here transcends mere dining — it is performance art. The service operates with such precision, grace, and attentiveness that it feels akin to watching a Broadway production unfold before your eyes. The kitchen exhibits extraordinary technical clarity — each dish executed with discipline, artistry, and confidence. The short rib in particular is a triumph: deep, meaty, and luxuriously rich, embodying the very essence of culinary indulgence. The menu itself is a global showcase of the finest ingredients, each plate harmonising texture, flavour, and visual elegance. Owner Blu is a perfectionist in the truest sense — a visionary constantly striving for new heights of excellence. His relentless pursuit of refinement is evident in every detail, from the choreography of the service to the flawless presentation of each course. The newly unveiled conservatory is a spectacular addition — an architectural and sensory enhancement that amplifies an already world-class experience. I have flown from England to Thailand on multiple occasions solely to revisit this remarkable restaurant — a testament to its magnetism. Café des Amis doesn’t just deserve its glowing reputation; it defines what exceptional hospitality should aspire to be.

I was in a large diner party tonight and had a fabulous evening with fine dining. The group's attendies came from Australian, America, England , Thailand, Lao, Japan, and Hongkong . This restaurant was able to satisfy every one. Our orders included; Alaskain king crab, wagyu sushi rolls, lobster bisque soup, Wagyu Steak, duck liver , salads, soups.... Etc. Since our participants varied it was reflected in foods ordered. Wonderful flavors and beautiful presentation made the diner a challenge for our taste buds to keep up. Appetizers started our meal and dessert and after diner liquor helped us finish. Not only was the food excellant, the premise was beautiful and the staff was attentive. This place made us all feel like nobility . If you have read this far then let me tell you, get there early, enjoy a drink at bar ,second to none in this area. Talk to the bar tender ( get an old fashion, irish coffee , Makers Mark. (Or my new favorite ... Ask for Rockland gin. ) If you are lucky the owner be there. His presence makes you feel like trying more dishes , being risky ordering exotic dishes. Todays, experience was worth going back . A+++++ to handle fine dining while being efficient in serving large parties this restaurant was what fine dining

If you're ever in Pattaya and looking for a place that will awaken every taste bud in your body, King Seafood is the spot. I came here with my brother during our short escape from Bangkok, and let me just say this: we didn’t want the night to end. Let me start with the view: right by the ocean, with the iconic “PATTAYA” sign glowing in the background, lights reflecting over the water. You’re not just eating dinner—you’re having an experience. The sea breeze, the calm vibes, the sound of the waves—it’s pure zen mixed with deliciousness. The food? On another level. We ordered a feast and every dish SLAPPED. Golden Fried Shrimp (กุ้งชุบแป้งทอด): Crunchy perfection. Golden, crispy outside, juicy shrimp inside. Served with fresh salad, lemon wedges, and creamy tartar sauce. I had to pause mid-bite just to appreciate the texture. Pad Thai with Shrimp (ผัดไทยกุ้งสด): It hit that perfect balance—sweet, savory, and just the right amount of spice. Huge shrimp, perfectly cooked noodles, and those crunchy peanuts. Pad Kra Pao (ผัดกะเพรา): Bro, the holy grail of Thai stir-fry. Spicy, aromatic, loaded with fresh basil and minced meat. I asked for it "pet mak" (extra spicy) and they delivered. Grilled Lobster (กุ้งมังกรย่าง): This dish deserves a standing ovation. Juicy, meaty, grilled to smoky perfection and served on banana leaves with garlic butter drizzled on top. You could taste the ocean with every bite. And of course, we went all in with chili dips: the nam jim seafood (green sauce) and sweet chili. They complimented every bite, especially the fried shrimp. Fire. Service? Flawless. The staff were super friendly and fast. They checked in on us without being overbearing, and even helped us take a photo with the Pattaya sign in the background. Five-star service with a Thai smile. Atmosphere? Vibes. Laid-back yet festive. Good lighting. Clean tables. Chill music. You can dress up or just rock a casual fit. Whether you're here with family, your girl, or the boys—it's a vibe. Prices? For the quality and the location—worth every baht. You're eating fresh seafood by the ocean in Pattaya with top-tier flavor and presentation. Come on. To sum it up: King Seafood is a must-visit. Food: 10/10 View: 10/10 Service: 10/10 Cleanliness: 10/10 Value for money: 10/10 This wasn’t just dinner. This was a memory. Can’t wait to return!!

One of the best authentic Indian restaurant in Pattaya .My favourite dish is Lamb curry ( i forgot Indian names of the dish ) will come back any times i m down to Pattaya

I ordered bindi and asked for no onions. They put more onions than bindi. They literally gave me only onions with a little bindi inside. I have tried to separate the bindi from the onions but it is not possible as it is all mixed. I don’t understand how this place is highly rated. I lived in India, I know good Indian food, and this ain’t it. The staff were nice though, they let me order take away even though the restaurant had already closed. So I appreciate that. But it was surely not worth 500 baht. All I got were 2 rotis and mostly onions .

We had such a lovely dinner ,everything from the flavours to the presentation was absolutely spot on. We started with Pani Puri .Then came the set menu it was like a mini feast on a plate. Every dish was very nice. The service was friendly, the ambiance was cozy.

A great 2025 Indian Michelin-listed restaurant. We were welcomed with a complimentary sparkling juice, which was a lovely and tasty touch. The food is excellent, with flavors that truly stand out. Prices are reasonable, and the staff is friendly and attentive. Overall, a fantastic dining experience.

Good Indian food. The curries were tasty and appetizers were delicious. The dessert was the star of the show.

Went here as a group of 5 on march 26. Lovely place inside, great ambience. Service staff lovely, professional, attentive and kind. Starter of chicken tikka for sure best I have had in Thailand. Samosa also superb. We all tried each others mains, the lamb maddrassi was first class. In over 20 years in Thailand this is the best Indian I have been to so far. Seriously amazing ... Cannot wait to go back.
David S — Google review
It's an easy 10/10. I review a lot, usually positive unless really bad. Indian by Nature has just blown me away with the quality delivered. Chicken tikka....proper juicy, succulent, tasty chunks... and plenty of them. None of that tough rubbery nonsense. Garlic nan....full of flavour and perfect for the sauce. Tarka dal....probably the best I have had. Thick, creamy and super tasty. Beats the watery versions I have been used to. It's been a few years since I was last in Indian by Nature....that was in the restaurant and was 100%....this takeaway was every bit as good....if not better. I've tried the rest, honestly.... this is the best!

Gone down hill badly the staff are low end at best not on the ball. Had to wait 15 minutes to get the wine I ordered even though I chose it from the wine cellar they had it in their hand and the restaurant was not busy. The chicken corma is worse than baby food, it's supposed to be Michelin worthy but they use horrible metal bowls like you give to your dog. Pretty much zero elegance in the place anymore. Sad to see. Imo all. Staff need changing.

The restaurant is known for its exquisite seafood, poultry, and meat dishes that incorporate exotic flavors and ingredients. Its distinctive appearance resembling a traditional Thai building adds to the overall dining experience.
More or less quiet place within the city center. Space for children. Local Thai dance performance s in the afternoon. Food was good, not fancy but tasty. Big "garden" for seating below trees. The Pattaya beach is very close, only 5min walking.

We had a delicious dinner, cooked with fresh ingredients and bold flavors. Favorites include the tom yum goong, green curry and pad kra pao. The outdoor seating is cozy, service is friendly and there's even a stage with traditional performances.

Maybe we just ordered the wrong dish. The only thing I liked was the fruit shake 🙂‍↕️ nevertheless, the place was amazing, especially at night. They have a dance show that u can enjoy watching while eating.

We hosted a company dinner here and had a pleasant evening. The traditional Thai dancing shows are a really enjoyable part of the visit. Food was average and in some cases too spicy.

Lovely meal - wow ! Full of flavour and large portions too! Everything was on point - the green curry was delicious, was well as the papaya salad and chilli basil pork (next time would have chicken though). Would definitely return! Also some unexpected entertainment/ dancing during the meal.

I saw some really good review from Google, hence I decided to come and witness it myself in Nov 2024. I took the opportunity to go Ripley's Believe It or Not in Royal Garden Plaze which is located opposite of this restaurant. They have obviously large signboard at the junction of the road and you have to walk a little into the lane for the restaurant. This restaurant doesn't just give you very presentable dishes but they come with Thai traditional costume dancing. We ordered 1) deep fried flathead lobster 🦞 with garlic 2) tom yum kong 3) mango salad 4) grilled pork neck and of course thai milk tea!! We enjoyed ourselves with fantastic food and dancing from the ladies.. couldn't ask for more from a restaurant 👏🏻👍🏻
MK L — Google review
Good traditional restaurant with live dance performances of typical dance. It was a nice touch to watch them perform while you eat good Thai food. The service was good and quick and the communication with the waiters was okay as they do speak a bit of English. The decor is good and reminds of old traditional Thai buildings. I would recommend this place for those who want to experience the real and authentic Thai food and cultural experience.

One of the best places in town for an authentic Thai meal. This was recommended by our hotel person and we were not disappointed The place has a very calming look and the food is prepared fresh. The taste of the food was extremely good. All ingredients were also very fresh We ordered for prawns. Red Thai curry and jasmine rice. And all the three dishes were amazing. The REd Thai curry here is a must have. The place serves beer also The service was efficient and the staff was very friendly.

Update September 2025 After a few visits again, everything is the same. Customers come in swim shorts and long arm shirt, wet from morning walk. Other in Tank Shirts on the open buffet...disgusting But the Brunch is still okay, if you like bread. The Myanmar Staff is friendly, just the short hair Thai Girl is a bit rude an arrogant to the other staff, as always. Times are currently hard in Thailand Update 29 February 2024 The Restaurant looks old and in the same Style and Decor since they started. For a Brunch and Customers with Tank T - Shirts its enough, but for a Fine Dinning Restaurant? Anyway, it needs a complete Renovation and a new touch, the owner and his wife should be learning to smile, the Stuff complained its like to work in the Army there. The quality of the Food is still okay, price bargain for what you get. Give them a try and make your own experience. A good Place since many Years for special Events, fine Dining and the super Brunch Buffet. Friendly Staff, big Range of Food and Wine. Carpark behind the Ruen Thai Restaurant.

It is Halal certified and highly rated on TripAdvisor for its authentic dishes prepared by Indian chefs. Established in 1985, Maharani's small yet inviting space provides a pleasant atmosphere to savor their delectable Thalli set and tandoor mixed platter.
The newly renovated Maharani offers a truly delightful dining experience. With its stunning sea view and elegantly designed interior, the ambiance is both relaxing and refined. The food was outstanding—easily on par with the best Indian restaurants in Thailand. We sampled a variety of dishes featuring lamb, chicken, fish, and prawns. The prawn curry, in particular, was exceptional. From appetizers and mains to roti and beverages, everything was of consistently high quality. Service was attentive and friendly throughout. Great location within the hotel and overlooking the beach below. The menu has a good selection of food and is average priced. I enjoyed the food I ordered which was very tasty and nicely spiced. One more thing I should mention is, don’t be fooled by the looks of the size of your dish, in fact, it is a very generous amount and certainly will be more than enough to satisfy the hungriest stomach with some leftover to take home. Wonderful

Excellent food. The staff was amazing as well, special thanks to Khun Praneed for taking excellent care of us. The chef came out to say hi and made sure the food suited our requirements. Amazing ambiance, great location, nice views. Authentic Indian food, good prices and good value for money. Highly recommended!

Not sure why so many positive reviews. Food not very tasty. All the starters were oily. Roti and naan were way too hard. Tandoori platter looked very dry. Jeera rice wasn't flavorful. Paneer butter masala had excessive butter and couldn't take more than 1 spoon.

We were especially impressed by the wonderful service from Ms. Veerawan, who was very friendly and attentive throughout our meal. She made us feel so welcome and comfortable. Very nice and luxurious place. With pool and beach. It's a bit high priced, but not more than expected. You need to spend at least 3000 baht to get bed. But you can have as many people there as you like

Nice pool and staff were all friendly. The Cocktails seems like a ladies drink but they can put more alcohol if you request it. I don’t fancy the DJ’s choice of songs, it’s a bit too old for my liking but overall, i would come back to have a chill afternoon.

My friends and I had a wonderful afternoon in Alexa beach club. Although I was a bit worried, because of the previous reviews, our experience was nothing short of amazing. The DJ was playing really nice music, our waiter was super friendly and attentive and the food was delicious. It’s an absolutely normal practice for the beach clubs to have a minimum spend charge. So don’t believe people who are trashing a good establishment, because they did not make an effort to check the website or call to make a booking. This place has very reasonable prices and it’s really worth visiting.
Farawayquest — Google review
Nice pool bar. Has a minimum spend to get one of the lounge beds/sofa. Cocktails selection was good also. Plays a lot of house music.

Lovely club and pool area, good DJ/drink only down side was the waitress who was managing the front desk as you walk in was very rude when telling us to move off the seating unless we spend b7000. Made us feel very unwelcome just because we weren't a large group spending lots of money but a couple celebrating our anniversary with a few drinks.

Suvarnabhumi Airport

Airport
Domestic airport
Suvarnabhumi International Airport (BKK) is a bustling airport located in the Bangkok area, offering various amenities such as a spa and a playground. The Airport Rail Link provides convenient transportation to and from the city center, with trains departing frequently throughout the day. For travelers with connecting flights or early morning departures, accommodations within the airport are available but can be pricey.
Suvarnabhumi International Airport (Bangkok) is a massive, modern, and well-organized airport — definitely one of the busiest I’ve seen. On arrival, there’s a long walkway that makes it easy to reach the baggage area. Right around baggage claim, you’ll find counters for tourist SIM cards. The popular package of AIS starts at 399 Baht (8 days, 15GB data + calls), and they even set it up in your phone — a great option for instant connectivity before stepping out. The arrival area has plenty of eateries and souvenir shops, so you can grab a bite or pick something up right away. On departure, the first thing I noticed compared to India is that the entrance gates aren’t heavily guarded — you can walk in and out freely. There are 10 entrance gates, with smoking rooms just outside Gates 1 and 2, and a Starbucks right inside Gate 1. The airport is very busy, with long queues at check-in and immigration, so reaching early is highly recommended. Inside, you’ll find endless check-in counters, self-check-in kiosks, lots of food outlets, souvenir stores, clean washrooms, and friendly staff. The infrastructure is huge, sleek, and modern — a proper international experience. Happy travelling!
Rushali R — Google review
I recently traveled through Suvarnabhumi International Airport and had a very smooth experience. I was truly impressed by how well the facilities are managed to ensure everything moves quickly and efficiently. Since I was traveling with an infant, I was initially concerned about the process, but to my surprise, everything was well taken care of. From check-in to security and boarding, the staff and arrangements made the journey comfortable and stress-free. The fast-track facilities and organized flow really stood out. Overall, it was a hassle-free experience, and I appreciate the care and attention given to passengers, especially those traveling with babies. Definitely one of the better international airports I’ve traveled through.
Suraj S — Google review
Tested by millions of visitors every year, accessible by bus, cars and metro. Many options for transport to main touristic destination organised by agencies on ground floor arrivals. Train is most convenient and cheapest way to get to downtown. Cheap food court on ground floor, prices inside airport are 3 to 5 times higher. Otherwise many choices for eating but rather expensive. Immigration check efficient when entering and even more efficient when departing, made by scanner only

Suvarnabhumi Airport – Bangkok (BKK) Modern, efficient, and beautifully designed. 🌏 Suvarnabhumi Airport is one of Asia’s most impressive airports — spacious, clean, and well-organized. The architecture is stunning with high glass ceilings and open spaces, giving a calm and modern feel. ✨ Check-in and security are generally smooth, and the signage is clear in both Thai and English. There are plenty of restaurants, cafés, and duty-free shops available before and after security. ☕🛍️ Transportation to the city is easy — you can take the Airport Rail Link, taxis, or hotel shuttles. It’s about 30–40 minutes to downtown Bangkok. 🚆🚕 💡 Tip: Arrive early for international flights — the airport can get busy during peak hours.
Hashem M — Google review
This is an international airport in Thailand, with facilities, environment, and services that are highly internationalized and first-class. If you arrive early, spend some time visiting the Paragon Mall. You'll find a pleasing array of trendy and high-quality products. It’s highly recommended to take a look around, you’re sure to make some unexpectedly wonderful discoveries. If you’re hungry, head to the food court in any area. You’ll find a wide variety of delicious international foods and cuisines that you’re sure to enjoy.

I recently had a fantastic experience at Suvarnabhumi Airport. Check-in was very quick and the overall flow through the airport was incredibly smooth. I was particularly impressed with the super fast immigration process for e-passport holders of all nationalities. Security was also simple and smooth, which really helped to start my journey stress-free. The amenities were great as well—the airport shuttle and lounge are really good. A truly efficient and pleasant international transit hub
Kiran R — Google review
Suvarnabhumi Airport is very large and beautifully designed with a modern look. It’s clean, well-organized, and easy to navigate even though it’s busy most of the time. There are plenty of shops and restaurants to explore while waiting for your flight, from local snacks to international brands. The facilities are well-maintained, and there are lots of seating areas to relax. Overall, it’s a comfortable and convenient airport that leaves a good impression before or after your trip to Bangkok.
Fatin R — Google review
• Very modern architecture – huge glass terminal, looks premium and international. • Wide variety of food – Thai, Japanese, international brands, cafés… especially good options after immigration. • Great for connecting flights – one of the best transit airports in Asia with many airlines. • Good signage & English everywhere – easier for Indian tourists as well. • Fast immigration most times (compared to India) – organized counters. • Long walking distances – terminals are huge, be ready to walk a lot. • Can be crowded – Bangkok is a top tourist destination, so peak hours are heavy. • Shopping expensive inside the terminal – duty-free isn’t always cheaper than Bangkok city malls. • Baggage arrival sometimes slow during peak hours.

Don Mueang International Airport

International airport
Domestic airport
Don Mueang International Airport, also known as DMK, is one of the two airports serving Bangkok and holds the distinction of being Asia's oldest airport, first opening its doors in 1914. After a period of closure following the opening of Suvarnabhumi Airport, it was renovated and reopened in 2012. The airport is well-connected to the city center through various transportation options such as the Sukhumvit Line and Airport Rail Link.
Great food options & fair prices after security! Was pleasantly surprised by how many food and drink choices there are after passing through immigration at Don Mueang Domestic Airport. From local bites to coffee shops and snacks, there’s something for everyone. And the best part? Prices are pretty much the same as outside—no ridiculous airport markup! 👏 It’s super convenient for grabbing a quick meal or coffee before your flight without feeling like you're getting overcharged. Clean, efficient, and much more traveler-friendly than expected. Perfect for domestic flyers who want a smooth and tasty pre-boarding experience. ✈️
Ellie O — Google review
I like how chill amd relaxed the vibe is at Don Mueang. Despite the number of people going through it it didnt feel cramped nor did it have that stressful rush that most big airports have but it still provides the modern comfort and convenience expected from any big airport. Checking in and dropping our bags was easy, all the staff who assisted us were extremely friendly and easy to interact with. While there were only a few open stores at the predeparture area there were more to choose from near the boarding gates however this becomes fewer again as you go further to the end. I just wish it was more spreadout. The same can be said with the vibe of the terminal. From tje central area including the checkin counters, most of the area feel modern but as you move to the boarding gates the dated look and feel of the terminal becomes more prominent. Despite that, there is plenty of seating for passengers and it still feels comfortable. Great experience going through Don Mueang, very easy to get through and has everything you need.
Maxwell J — Google review
I was honestly amazed by how beautiful Don Mueang Airport is! The place feels so bright, clean, and modern the moment you walk in. It’s super spacious, so even with a lot of people around, it never feels crowded. The lounges and seating areas are really comfortable and give off a luxurious vibe. I also loved how well-organized everything is — from check-in to boarding, it’s smooth and hassle-free. Overall, it’s one of the most elegant and pleasant airports I’ve been to. Great work by thai government

Don Mueang International Airport offers a smooth and efficient travel experience. Immigration is fast, and the terminal is clean, organized, and not too large making it easy to navigate. The facilities are well-maintained and got free drinking water!!, giving a comfortable impression from arrival to departure. For a cheap and quick trip to the city, you can take the A1 or A2 airport bus at the end of terminal, which connects directly to Mo Chit BTS Station and the MRT system. A super convenient and traveler-friendly airport overall!
Anton N — Google review
Terminal 2 on the south side serves domestic departures and arrivals, while Terminal 1 on the north side serves international departures and arrivals. A short corridor connects them, fully lined with seats and ample rest areas. The international departure area has a larger customs area, making it quite crowded. There are many public transportation options to and from the city. The air-conditioned Red Line subway and the non-air-conditioned windowed train are located on the south-most west side of the airport. To get there from Terminal 1 International, you need to go through Terminal 2 Domestic, a 600-700-meter walk. The airport shuttle bus stops outside the International Departures level of Terminal 1, located on the north-most west side of the airport, along the curb. Fares range from 30 to 50 baht, and the elevated express bus is a quick way to get there. 🎬2025.10

Good experience for us: Arriving in the evening with a domestic flight and departing the next morning with an international flight. Hopefully the airport stays open in the night. Some shops close, but many restaurants remain open. Sleeping isn't great if the wait is long, but acceptable for an experienced traveler. Immigration and baggage checks were also smooth and quick. In fact, the airport is really quiet in the evening.

It's a Quiet big airport with lots of eating shopping options.. this airport is even have a free kids playing area..nice ambience staff is helpful n friendly. airport was clean n big.. plenty of sitting area. Note they don't have smoking area inside airport. So if you areca smoker then smoke a cigarette before you reachbthe airport.

I think this airport is always developing to keep pace with international airports. They have improved the restrooms, shops, and also the design and decoration. It look much better than before. I don't recommend driving here because it's quite hard to find a parking spot. Taking a taxi or Grab is much more convenient. The drivers are reliable because I think the taxis are partners of the airport.
