Ramayana Water Park is a top destination for families, offering an array of thrilling water slides, wave pools, and attractions suitable for all ages. Located just 10 minutes from Pattaya beach in the picturesque Silver Lake area, this expansive park boasts 21 exhilarating rides, including unique experiences not found elsewhere in Asia. Visitors can enjoy everything from high-speed slides to relaxing in private cabanas while savoring the diverse food offerings.
Incredible fun waterpark with stunning garden and double wave pool. Amazing view from the top of the rides surrounding by the mountains. We have so much fun. Must visit!!! I definitely take the kids here again. Service needs to be improved from the ticket counter to information. Someone has stolen the kid glasses from the house we rent and no security check, no CCTV. No one ever walks to cleck but only says nobody has returned it yet.
Curvy K — Google review
We had so much fun here. Got our tickets online with a discount. Aside from water activities they also have table tennis and badminton. I love that they have a lot of stalls for food. Definitely a must try when you visit Pattaya. Also there’s free videos for the rides, just tell the operator and they will scan your wristband and you can claim your free videos on a machine and send it to your email.
Rachel L — Google review
A great water park, neat and clean. Plenty of places to eat and drink. A wide selection of slides. Towels can be rented for 100 baht. Small lockers large enough for a reasonable-sized bag are free, and larger lockers are available for rent. Unfortunately, it rained almost all day, which is a shame, but in good weather it's worth it. There are discounts in case of rain, but you have to ask for them, hence the lower star rating.
Ed R — Google review
Except the prices, everything’s great. There are many fantistic slides, pools water flows where can make everybody feels exciting. But the only problem of this place is very expensive price of all kind of things which sells inside, not only the entrance, locker fee but also the foods and drinks. They inspect every customer’s bags completely to check and prohibit of bring in own foods at the gate. Only the drinking water is allowed.
Min-Seok O — Google review
We came on a Saturday and really expected to have to queue at many attractions, but that was not the case at all. The park is huge and therefore many people are spread out and the queue times are very reasonable. If you come early you are guaranteed to not have to queue anywhere. The park is absolutely amazing with many attractions available, including multiple thrill rides. Highly recommended!
Fan — Google review
It’s so much fun and amazing setup for families with kids or friends who want to play existing games or relaxing. Helpful staff and great facilities are always clean and welcoming to everyone to use. Anything you need for a perfect day you can find it from shops inside. Sweeping stuff and food or drinks are available for all day long and evening for all ages with different types, sizes or styles.
Jason S — Google review
Great park. Not a lot of people. Great slides for all ages. We had a lot of fun there.
Limor R — Google review
This was amazing! We went as a family of six, four children and two adults. It would be hard to say who had the most fun. There are ample food stands, wait times were quick, the water was clean and sparkling, all the staff were lovely. My feet did get a bit sore, but as the website says - take shoes for your own comfort. Highly recommend. We were having so much fun we forgot to reapply sunscreen, don't make our mistake. Would absolutely love to visit again

Great beach. Better than overcrowded Koh Larn. Lots of food and easy to rent a chair only 40 baht. Clean water for swimming.
Justin W — Google review
Nice, clean, and well maintained beach. They charge 20 THB for car and sometimes 50 for foreigners depending on the mood of the collector, crowded in the weekend
Akshay H — Google review
There is plenty of parking space and many restaurants to choose from. The area is full of trees, making it a nice spot to relax and enjoy food. The sea is beautiful with very clear water, and the beach is clean. Many foreign tourists like to visit here. However, there are not many restrooms, and trash bins are quite hard to find. 19/09/2025

2025-04-30 Nice and clean beach, crowded during holidays and weekend, there are parking, restaurants and toilets. Ticket 20 B / car
Omar T — Google review
The area is a picturesque haven, boasting a clean, soft sandy beach and crystal clear water like you see in the movie. The beach is a great place to spend a day, offering a natural shaded area with pine trees and a great selection of fresh Thai food that is good value for money. You can see coral and specially the sea punching just by walking . Awesome experience and it's a must place to visit when you are in Pattaya or Jomtien.

The views are stunning. Endless colourful gardens , amazing landscape beautifully maintained areas everywhere. The dinosaurs statues were huge and very realistic. Wonderful botanical garden worth visiting.
Venkatasubramanian C — Google review
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Nong Nooch Garden is a beautiful place in Pattaya and really worth the visit. The gardens are huge with so many zones — orchids, cactus, French style, and even dinosaur valley. Everything is well kept and perfect for photos. There are cultural shows, elephant shows, and a sightseeing tram if you don’t want to walk too much. Lots of food options inside too. The ticket price is fair. If you book online on sites like Trip.com, it’s even cheaper. Best to plan at least half a day here because there’s so much to see. Tips: Go early, wear comfy shoes, and bring sun protection. Some people may not like the animal shows, so keep that in mind. Overall, I had a great time — beautiful, relaxing, and very good value. Highly recommend! 🌿✨
Nick K — Google review
Overall park itself was big and beautiful and elephants there were also impressive. Mobility service was also great convenience but.... too much dinosaurs even some are artificially created one... was... not really great. May kids are like this but not for adults tourists. If you feel tired by heat then visit BigC
라선생 — Google review
Well one of the must visit place in Pattaya. You can visit here with your family or friends and spend some quality time. It is away from the main city ,you can book a cab or any group tour. But you can easily get Grab/bolt. This place needs your full day to explore. This place is good for childrens. Tickets should be book in advance.
Abhishek S — Google review
If you are three lover and interested in knowing different varieties of tree plants, flowers, this is the place for you to go. It’s huge categorised in proper manner. Be ready to walk more. Spend time over there or else you can just take a tour from outside (you won’t be able to see much from outside). The elephant show place is also nearby, so if you are planning to go over there, then take little extra time to visit there as well. It can be a day affair.
Megha S — Google review
Breathtaking Gardens*: The garden spans over 600 acres, featuring meticulously landscaped zones, including a French Garden, Animal Sculpture Garden, and Stonehenge replica. - *Dinosaur Valley*: Explore life-sized dinosaur replicas scattered across the grounds, perfect for family photos and sparking kids' imagination. Luxury Car Exhibition*: Marvel at the impressive collection of luxury cars showcasing the owner's passion.
Foody M — Google review
I think Nong Nooch Tropical Garden sounds absolutely spectacular! From what I’ve seen, it’s more than just a garden—it’s an immersive experience with meticulously designed landscapes, themed gardens, and vibrant tropical plants everywhere you look. It seems like the kind of place where you can wander for hours, discovering something new at every turn, and the attention to detail makes it feel both magical and serene. Honestly, it’s the type of garden that makes you appreciate the beauty of nature on a whole new level.
Kanchan V — Google review
For the show in the theater, only the first part of it worth seeing, showing about the traditional Thai provience clothing's and dance. The second part is some old pop song with fancy dancers. Other places of this garden is too big to walk, although you can take the sightseeing mini bus, but only you will see some concrete dino and animal statue. Food inside is good and cheap, no worries.

The Royal Thai Navy Sea Turtle Conservation Center is a family-friendly destination where visitors can observe sea turtles and learn about conservation efforts. Situated in an area with a bustling town market, Nong Nooch Garden, Silverlake Winery, and Buddhist temples, the center offers an educational experience for kids to discover various sea turtle species and the challenges they face in the wild. The facility is free to enter and focuses on protecting endangered sea turtles while providing informative exhibits and materials.
The little sea turtle sanctuary under the taken care of Thai Navy in Sattahip. Thank you for their efforts in doing this. They keep them in various sections before releasing them to the sea when it's the right time. Good view and quite a relaxing place. Worth a visit.
Aom A — Google review
Good place for the kids to see the real Sea Turtle. 5 star for kids. + When you drive into Navy base. You need to give the ID to Navy guards at guard station on left side. You will get it back when depart from the base. + You can set up the map only in walking mode but it will get you their.
Devil P — Google review
Very suitable for family. There is a small fish aquarium with exhibition (which has some English-dubbed videos) and sea turtle pond inside. Here you can observe sea turtle in various ages. There are some scenery points for taking photo, café and souvenir shops. Restaurant is also available in front. You should prepare sunscreen with hats or umbrellas. There are very few English signs here, and no tour guide in English.
Chanakarn O — Google review
This is a great little turtle sanctuary run by the navy. If you've already paid your entrance fee to the navy base, it's free to go in. There is an aquarium and a video presentation as well as tanks in which you can see the turtles at various ages before they're released. There is plenty of parking, toilets too and a little cafe on the beach that is quite nice. We left a donation as it was quite good overall.
Jay T — Google review
While the security was a bit tight to be able to access the premises, however I did enjoy watching the turtles of all sizes, they are so cute!
Gabby P — Google review
Personally I was there so long time ago , they should got some staff to tell the story about sea turtle cycling and give a chance to kids to see it closer. But overall is ok. The kids enjoyed it!
NAMO M — Google review
This is truly a must-visit destination for anyone who adores turtles or any sea creatures! Here, they are treated with such care and attention, which is simply wonderful. Additionally, you have the opportunity to learn more about their fascinating species and natural habits, making your visit both enjoyable and educational.
Tanakorn L — Google review
Great place for all adults and kids. There's also an aquarium for different species of fish. There is a gift shop and a coffee shop on location. Located inside the Thai Navy base, might be a bit difficult to navigate for non-local. Admission is free.

Water & Amusement Parks
Step into the world of your favorite Columbia Pictures movies at Columbia Pictures Aquaverse, a movie-themed amusement park that offers a unique blend of water-based attractions and iconic film experiences. Located just 20 minutes from a luxury hotel in Pattaya, this immersive water park features over 150 attractions inspired by blockbuster hits like Jumanji, Ghostbusters, and Hotel Transylvania.
Had a great day here with my 8 year old. Although she went on a couple of the bigger attractions she had a blast playing in the children’s area and wave pool. Very clean and well maintained place both around the grounds and within the toilet and changing rooms. I purchased tickets online and this allowed a very quick entry. Wasn’t overly busy but still many people around enjoying their time
Mick D — Google review
Visiting Columbia Pictures Aquaverse was such a fun and memorable experience. It’s not just a water park—it’s a whole entertainment world with attractions inspired by famous movies, which makes it extra exciting for both kids and adults. The moment you walk in, you can feel the energy and creativity that went into designing the park. The water rides are thrilling and well-maintained, with a good balance of adrenaline-packed slides and family-friendly options. I especially liked how each zone is themed around popular films, so you really feel like you’re stepping into the movie universe. The pools and lazy rivers are also perfect for relaxing when you need a break from the action. The staff were very friendly and attentive, making sure everyone was safe and enjoying themselves. Safety measures are clearly in place, and lifeguards were always visible, which gave me peace of mind. Food and refreshment options inside the park were also good, with plenty of variety to suit different tastes. Overall, Columbia Pictures Aquaverse is a fantastic destination for a day of fun, whether you’re going with family, friends, or a team outing. It combines excitement, creativity, and comfort, and I would definitely love to visit again.
Nooruddin H — Google review
⚠️ Important Warning for Visitors with Gluten Intolerance or Food Allergies ⚠️ There are absolutely no gluten-free options available inside the park. Before our visit, we contacted the welcome center online a day in advance to clarify this issue. We were assured that it would not be a problem — we could explain our situation upon arrival, and they would allow us to bring in food for our child. Unfortunately, that was not the case. Once at the park, the staff insisted that our child should eat outside, at the entrance area, which was unreasonable. Only after a long discussion did they eventually allow us to bring in the food — but only in transparent plastic bags that they provided. If the park’s policy does not allow outside food, that is understandable, but then there should be a more considerate approach for guests with dietary needs, food allergies, or intolerances. At the very least, one restaurant in the park should offer gluten-free meals. That being said, the park itself is fantastic — great facilities, well maintained, and packed with fun activities. You can easily spend the entire day here without getting bored. Everything ran smoothly for us apart from the food situation. In short: • ⭐ Amazing park and attractions • 🚫 Very disappointing food policy for anyone with gluten intolerance or allergies If you or your family need gluten-free options, be prepared for a challenging experience.
Omer H — Google review
Really great experience, was fortunate to come on a weekday and it was easy to get on all the slides. Had great shows and food. Has cabanas for rent and trip also.
Rusty W — Google review
It was a very great experience. My daughter had an amazing time. The slides are fun and the staff is great. I will say purchase your ticket online. Food is a lil pricey but hey what can you do. For the most part you will have a good time.
Cliff B — Google review
The water park is maintained well with life guards stationed, and the cleanliness is adequate. The variety of slides provides options to the gateways of enjoyment. The wave pool is good. Staff are friendly and courteous. Restaurants have a variety of American, Australian, Thai, and Chinese food. The food and drinks are super expensive. I tried Thai food, which was super salty, so not a value for money, but have no choice as outside food and water are prohibited. Open car parking is available.
Akshay H — Google review
Finally ticked off my bucket list. Incredible waterpark, with lots of things to do and see. The staffs are very helpful and they have a food court inside too but it’s a lil expensive.

Nature & Parks
Khao Chi Chan, also known as Buddha Mountain, is a famous landmark in Na Chom Thian, just 15 km from Pattaya. The highlight of this attraction is the impressive 109-meter-tall golden Buddha laser engraving on a limestone hill. This remarkable site was created to commemorate King Rama IX's 50-year reign and has become a religious and cultural symbol.
Spectacular golden Buddha engraving on a beautiful hill. A tranquil and majestic view. There are also European style restaurants and hotels nearby, making it a great day trip from Pattaya.
Jianing L — Google review
Visit this place on a light rainy day, everything is so pleasant. Fresh air , wide scenery with the stunning golden line of big Buddha on the rocky mountain surface.
Aey A — Google review
A beautiful place to take a photo. A well-maintained small garden in front of the mountain and a pond invite you to linger. The disadvantage is the many tour groups and buses, which can quickly lead to a feeling of overcrowding.

A free to enter sacred garden area dedicated to BUDDHA. the image is carved using laser technology. A site for meditation and relaxation. Located quite deep from main Pattaya City. Do plan your time well if you plan to visit this place. A Chinese temple and BUDDHA worship place is located nearby this site.

📌⛰️🌟 Buddha Mountain, also known as Khao Chi Chan is a hugh limestone mountain near Pattaya with a golden Buddha statue that is 70 meters board and 109 meters tall. A major spiritual and artistic monument with a peachful park surrounding it, it was created in 1996 to commemorate King Bhumibol Aduladej's Golden Jubilee utilizing laser technology and inlaid with gold leaf. A stunning location and many trees that provide shade and are good for relaxing.

📍 Khao Chi Chan (Buddha Mountain) This is one of the must-visit landmarks in Thailand, especially if you’re in Pattaya. The giant gold-etched Buddha image on the mountain is not only impressive, but also sacred for Buddhists. ✨ Peaceful atmosphere, beautiful photo spot, and full of spiritual meaning. 👉 Make sure to dress modestly and respect the place. #KhaoChiChan #BuddhaMountain #PattayaTrip #VannaTravels #SpiritualThailand
Vanna P — Google review
Peaceful and Majestic – A Must-Visit in Pattaya! Visiting Buddha Mountain (Khao Chi Chan) was one of the most memorable and peaceful moments of my trip to Pattaya. This iconic site features a massive Buddha image engraved into the side of a mountain, standing 109 meters tall and 70 meters wide, inlaid with shining gold. It was created in 1996 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of King Bhumibol’s reign. The sheer size and beauty of the carving are absolutely breathtaking. The place is free to enter, very well maintained, and surrounded by peaceful gardens, green landscapes, lotus ponds, and walking paths. It’s a great spot for both sightseeing and spiritual reflection. 🌿 What I loved most: The peaceful atmosphere — even though it’s a tourist spot, it feels calm and respectful. The golden Buddha shines beautifully in the sunlight — perfect for photos and videos. There are shaded areas and benches where you can just sit and relax. The view of the mountain is majestic, especially at sunset. 👟 Tips for visitors: Wear modest clothes out of respect (shoulders and knees covered). Bring water and sunglasses — it can get very hot during midday. Visit early morning or late afternoon for cooler weather and fewer crowds. You can also combine the visit with Silverlake Vineyard, Wat Yansangwararam, or Nong Nooch Garden nearby. 🎥 I also recorded a few short videos during my visit to capture the peaceful energy of the place and the incredible detail of the Buddha carving. It’s a spot that truly feels special. If you're visiting Pattaya, Buddha Mountain is a must-see — whether you're into culture, nature, or just want a quiet break from the beach and city.

It is the most beautiful and clear water around pattaya and Chonburi, the beach is in Military and need to drive to military area with fees 50 bath for Thai and 100 bath for foreigner. Good to visit and pay if you looking for clear water to go in and lay down on the beach. Most of Thai tourists there

Beach is nice and sandy. Plus- free toilets and showers, plenty of place to buy food and drinks. Minus- problems with return to the city cars. Prices is few time more expensive then is trip to the beach. In general- no bad place , nice for escape from busy Pattaya

A fantastic place for a daily trip. Inside the Navi Base is this nice beach, they have toilets, showers, restaurants. Shops with umbrellas, chairs and matts for rent. Great Trees, nice sand beach. The fee is 100 Baht for Foreigners, 50 Baht for Thais.

Nice hidden Gem. Beach is kept clean. Monkeys are not aggressive. They play a reminder every hour or so for everyone to clean up after themselves. Plenty of options for food. Well worth a few hours sitting under a tree.
Uamada K — Google review
Nice clean white sand beach. Well maintained as it's under the Thai army. It's not noisy and pollution here. Good for swimming. There are restaurants and public toilets. The atmosphere is good, not chaotic. Safe for swimming for kids.
ASHIM N — Google review
For visiting Sae Kaew beach, it is recommended to take a local taxi. From Patraya, it is 200-300 baht (September). The taxi driver knows, where to stop to buy an entrance ticket (100 baht/person) and will easily get a permission for driving through the marine military area. Sae Kaew is a relatively clean beach with very good service in the blue restaurant. Eventually, you can see some apes jumping around.
Michal K — Google review
Very nice beach, a lot of waves and wind, clean beach, good food prices, a lot of shades under the tree. Recommend 🩷🩷 very dirty wc without toilet paper or handsoap tho even the paid one :( A lot of wild monkeys, beware. And wild dogs.

Bang Saray Beach, located in Pattaya, is a hidden gem with pristine white sand and a tranquil atmosphere. It's an ideal destination for those seeking solitude and relaxation as it's less crowded compared to other beaches in the area. While not as developed, the picturesque views make it perfect for unwinding and capturing stunning moments. The beach offers palm-shaded areas where visitors can bask in the soothing sound of waves and enjoy the warmth of the sun.
Beautiful beach at sunset. Super long beach and plenty of space. Some street food sellers. Some parking on the road that runs along the beach. Popular with families and couples that come to chill on the beach in the evenings.

Quite a long but narrow beach, for swimming the east end of the beach is better and very quiet. Many nice seafood restaurants along the front.
Miles M — Google review
Lovely beach, clean and not crowded at all. Maybe we were lucky because it’s not peak tourist season. There is also a safe swim area. The street along the beach has quite a lot of restaurants and bars where you can enjoy both Thai and Western cuisine.

Beautiful little place. Beach was nice and clean. Many bars along the opposite side of the road with a view. About 35min bike ride from Pattaya.

A great area not too far from downtown Pattaya. You can bring your own camping chairs and relax under the trees. Has several food options, even smashburgers from a foodcart and also deckchair restaurants. A nice beach with quite clear water. Great view of the Pattaya skyline from there.

Ban Amphur Beach is a serene and uncrowded ocean beach located in a quiet fishing village. The beach offers calm waters for swimming, chair rentals, and a kids' playground. With its beautiful sand, palm trees, and ample parking, it provides a peaceful escape from the bustling beaches of Pattaya. Visitors can enjoy delicious and fresh seafood from the various restaurants in the fishing harbor at reasonable prices due to lower tourism impact.
So quiet and clean. Mostly Thai people. Not many tourists. It’s a really beautiful beach. It has no shade, but there are so restaurants very close to the beach. So much quieter than Jomtien and Pattaya.
Paul P — Google review
A great clean and quiet beach with clean water… better as the beaches in Pattaya…. A short trip with a crab car… sunbed costs 100 baht per day.. food comes from a restaurant nearby but yummy… definitely a great place to relax
Harald M — Google review
Ban Amphur Beach was clean and had a peaceful atmosphere. We only walked for about 10 minutes, but it was a nice stroll. It would have been great to walk on the pier, but overall, it’s a lovely spot to visit!
Kim M — Google review
To be honest, we were having high expectations since we tried to avoid the center of Pattaya and go way down. But I would say that it's not that suitable for swimming as it is not very clean and the water is quite shallow even going further out for hundred meters 😅 At shore side you can find quite a lot of trash, which is such a pity 😞 But if you are just looking to chill and have a nice sea view, then it could still be a choice. There are vendors offering sun beds and chairs with tables which you can rent at 100THB and 20THB for the whole day.
Paul M — Google review
I think this is a hidden gem, a really quiet beach, far away from the tourist area. Ban Amphur is a little fisherman community in Na Jomtien, with some very good seafood restaurants. Ban Amphur Beach is south of the village. When you take Soi Najomtien 30, you turn left at the first crossroad. This alley has beautiful 3D gravity on the walls, a scenic spot. When you drive some futher, you will pass some local restaurants and you will arrive at a kind of plaza at the beach. There are a few street food vendors. I think in the evening locals will sit here and enjoy foods together. At daytime not so many people, none on the beach. A few local sit in the shade, On the pier there are a few women looking for shells in the water. A fisherman is drying his catch. Some school kids on motorbike meeting eachother. What a lovely day.

Very quiet on this day but previous visits proved how popular this beach can be. Stunning views and good food readily available.

Quite good beach. A bit crowded down by the car park. A lot of easy going local food places on the beach and in the village nearby. Easy for me since it's a 1 minute walk from our place lol so it's great for a sunset bbq. If you do visit, please take your rubbish with you. And if you want to be a local hero, then take more rubbish away than what you bring. This way maybe we can keep it reasonable for everyone to enjoy.

Located south of the glitzy tourist destination of Pattaya, this beach is mainly visited by Thai people and therefore the food is more authentic Thai. The beach is not the cleanest but it's a bay and therefore even young children can bathe and swim safely. A fishing harbour adjoins the beach and high-rise buildings can be seen in the distance. The Thai people party here in the night.

Ko Kham

National park
Nature & Parks
Islands
Low-key eco-destination with white sand beaches, coral reef snorkeling & boat excursions.
Koh Kham 2025: A Tranquil Escape for Nature Lovers Koh Kham, a small yet breathtaking island near Sattahip, Chonburi, remains a top destination for those seeking crystal-clear waters, coral reefs, and a peaceful atmosphere. As an eco-tourism site managed by the Royal Thai Navy, the island is well-preserved, making it a perfect spot for snorkeling, kayaking, and relaxing on a white sand beach. This review covers how to get to Koh Kham using public transport, the island experience, and the best cafés and restaurants in the area. ⸻ Getting to Koh Kham from Bangkok by Public Transport Step 1: Bus or Van from Bangkok to Sattahip • I took a bus from Ekkamai Bus Terminal to Sattahip, which took about 3 hours and cost 150-200 THB. • Alternatively, there are minivans from Mo Chit or Ekkamai, which are slightly faster (2.5 hours) but more cramped. Step 2: Taxi or Songthaew to Ban Samae San Pier • From Sattahip Bus Station, I took a songthaew (shared taxi) for about 50 THB to Ban Samae San Pier. • A private taxi costs around 150-200 THB for a more comfortable ride. ⸻ Booking a Trip to Koh Kham Koh Kham is a protected island, meaning visitors must follow strict eco-tourism regulations. You cannot stay overnight, and the number of visitors is limited per day. Ticket & Ferry Information • Price: 300 THB per person (includes boat transfer, environmental fee, snorkeling gear, and kayak rental). • Departure Time: Boats leave between 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM from Ban Samae San Pier. • Return Trip: Visitors must leave the island by 3:30 PM. • Rules: No plastic waste, no fishing, and no stepping on corals. ⸻ Things to Do on Koh Kham 1. Snorkeling in Crystal-Clear Waters • The island offers some of the clearest waters in Thailand, with rich coral reefs and diverse marine life. • I spotted clownfish, parrotfish, and sea urchins while snorkeling near the shore. 2. Relaxing on the White Sand Beach • Koh Kham’s powdery white sand is perfect for sunbathing and relaxing. • Unlike crowded tourist spots, the beach here feels private and peaceful. 3. Kayaking with a View • Free kayaks are available for visitors, allowing you to paddle around the island and explore hidden spots. • The water is calm, making it a fun and easy activity for beginners. 4. Taking Photos at the Iconic Wooden Bridge • One of the most Instagram-worthy spots on Koh Kham is the wooden bridge extending into the turquoise sea. • The view from the bridge is absolutely breathtaking! 5. Hiking to the Viewpoint • A short hike up a small hill offers a panoramic view of the ocean and nearby islands. • It’s a great place to enjoy the sea breeze and capture stunning photos. ⸻ Best Cafés & Restaurants Near Ban Samae San 1. Samaesarn Seafood (ร้านอาหารทะเลแสมสาร) – Best Fresh Seafood • A local favorite offering the freshest seafood, right by the pier. • Must-try dishes: Grilled squid, spicy seafood salad, and Tom Yum Goong. 2. BlueSky Café & Bistro – Cozy Beachside Café • A stylish café with ocean views, perfect for relaxing after your island trip. • Recommended drinks: Coconut smoothie and iced Thai milk tea. 3. Navy House Coffee & Eatery – Unique Military-Themed Café • Located near the Royal Thai Navy base, this café has a unique theme and a relaxing vibe. • Their Thai iced coffee and mango sticky rice are great post-snorkeling treats. ⸻ Final Thoughts: Is Koh Kham Worth Visiting in 2025? Definitely! Koh Kham is one of Thailand’s best-preserved islands, offering a perfect mix of nature, adventure, and tranquility. With strict environmental protection, it remains clean and uncrowded, making it a must-visit for nature lovers.

It's pretty cool but I don't think it's worth 600 baht (foreigner pricing!) and 300 baht for Thai citizens. You would think the money would go to maintain the island to keep it clean but on the southeast beach (not many people go to that beach) there is a ton of garbage that has been washed up on the shore. A quick pick up once a week would all that would be required to make this a much more enjoyable experience. The hike to the viewpoint is pretty cool. There are some steep parts but there are ropes to help you along. You can find the trail starting just south of that SE beach. It's a loop so if you don't want to take the long way counterclockwise just take the first left which is shorter. If you are in the area and want to spend that $$ then try it out. On the beach (which isn't that great) there are some picnic tables you can sit on but otherwise everything costs money, mats, snorkel gear, chairs, tables, etc.

The beach near Bangkok has clean water. It is a military island. The prices of things on the island are not expensive. But I had a problem with a moles or sea lice. I got a bite from it.

The water is crystal clear, the sand is white, you can visit for only half a day, come and relax your mind.

Only one nice beach with many small rocks going to the water. Some nice wooden swings and wooden benches to relax. Only one place to eat with some rice meals, snacks, and fresh fruit and drinks. Better to bring your own food and drinks. They have free toilets there but they are only in one place around where the benches and food are located. There is many Thai military in the area. They are with you on Ko Kham and you might also see other military doing training exercises out in the water in front of the main beach. We saw fighter planes fly over a couple times and drop what looked like fire balls out the back of the plane into the water and then a large ship went into the area. So that was exciting but other than that this is a quiet place to relax with only a few people on the island. There is also snorkling there after noon after the water rises. When I went there was some light rain and strong winds which made the trip over on an old ferry boat very exciting. Since they are many places to hide away from the rain or sun it wasn't a total loss to go there if it is raining. There is also a nice little cave tucked away in front of a small beach that is close to where the boat is docked (See if you can find the hidden treasure 😊).

Clear blue water near Pattaya, you can snorkeling near beach, kayak. All facilities is convenience for visitors. Beware of going there during public holidays, traffic jam + crowded people
Yu T — Google review
Good scenario. Not so many people. It's not a popular island. Have shops that you can buy food and stuffs, you can use bank transfer or cash. There's activity, kayak and snorkelling that you can rent the equipment there.

The restaurant boasts a romantic and peaceful ambience, making it an ideal spot for couples, families, or friends to enjoy. With both indoor and outdoor dining areas, guests can savor over 170 Thai and western dishes while taking in picturesque views of the beach.
Chill vibes by the sea Loved the laid-back atmosphere with a cool, stylish decor. The Thai food was bold, spicy, and full of flavor. Great spot to hang out, enjoy the breeze, and Watch the sunset.

After a long drive touring around Pattaya from Bangkok, Glass House Hobo on Cave Beach is a beautiful place to unwind. The beachfront setting is fantastic — relaxing vibes, great photo spots, and a scenic view that makes it worth a stop, especially if you're looking to chill by the sea with some food and drinks. However, when it comes to value, the prices are noticeably higher than what you'd pay at other local restaurants in Pattaya or even Bangkok. While the food and atmosphere are good, it might not feel quite worth it if you're on a budget. Great for the experience and ambiance, but not the best pick if you're looking for more affordable local eats. Beautiful Spot, but pricey for what you get.

Very interesting menu and the food was excellent. The place is very fancy and well done up. Perfect for a romantic evening right on the beach. Just didn’t like the fact that the staff was in a hurry to close and allowed us one order only while google stated them open till midnight. Other than the service everything was good.
Subhojit S — Google review
I really wanted to give this place 5 stars. However after ordering the short ribs and asking for medium rare (same as the menu image) I got overcooked short ribs. When I asked about it they took it away only to come back later with the same now cold short ribs and the manager telling me that’s how they cook it because of souvide cooking and left me with the now cold food. They didn’t offer to switch it or offer a drink. This is already on top of getting served my food much later than my partner whose food was mostly cold from waiting for mine to come as well. I’m leaving hungry after ordering the most expensive piece of meat on the menu and disappointed. The only bright side is the cocktails are good and my partner enjoyed the vegetarian options which were good. After looking at the bill they didn’t give us any discount or free drinks despite the negative experience.

Glass House Boho in Pattaya offers an unforgettable dining experience! My friend and I were absolutely captivated by the stunning ocean views and the restaurant's beautiful ambiance. It's truly a feast for the eyes before you even get to the food. We made sure to arrive early, and it paid off – the restaurant wasn't too busy, and the service was excellent. Our food certainly delivered! Everything we ordered was top quality. My personal highlight was the Australian Black Angus Striploin, which was cooked to perfection and incredibly delicious. The entire meal, combined with the breathtaking setting, made for a truly memorable evening.

The International Buffet at the 609 Kitchen in Renaissance Hotel Pattaya is a culinary odyssey that leaves one awestruck. From the moment we stepped in, it was clear this was going to be a dining experience to remember. The array of dishes was like a United Nations of flavors, each station offering a new country to explore. From the delicate spices of Asia to the robust tastes of Europe, every bite was a journey around the globe. The ambiance of the restaurant complemented the food perfectly, creating an atmosphere that was both elegant and welcoming. The staff, with their impeccable service and warm smiles, made us feel like royalty. They were attentive without being overbearing, ensuring our plates were never empty and our glasses always full. Biscuit, ever the discerning diner, seemed to approve of the pet-friendly environment, giving it her tail-wag of approval. And Katie, with her eye for detail, noted the thoughtful presentation of each dish, enhancing the overall experience. In conclusion, the International Buffet at the 609 Kitchen is not just a meal; it's a celebration of global cuisine at its finest. I rate this extraordinary experience a perfect 20/20 on the 'Global Gastronomy Scale'. We left with our taste buds tantalized and our hearts full, already dreaming of our next visit.

Preecha Seafood

Asian restaurant
Seafood restaurant
Preecha Seafood is a Thai-style seaside restaurant known for serving some of the most delicious seafood in town. With over 40 years of experience, this local institution offers a casual dining setting, an extensive menu, and affordable prices. The restaurant's signature dishes include chili salt mantis shrimp, baked scallops, and blue crab som tam.
This seaside restaurant is truly a gem. The prices are very fair for the quality, and the seafood—especially the crab and shrimp—is always fresh and generously portioned. It feels worth every baht. Honestly, I hesitate to write too much because it’s already so good that I don’t want even longer lines next time. For me, it’s the best place to eat in the area, and I make sure to dine here every visit.

The restaurant was easy to get to from our hotel, a quick drive to the restaurant with ample parking. We sat down and on the waitress took our orders swiftly. The food came out at a good time with the fish being so soft and fresh. The cockle was tasty and fresh! Would recommend this restaurant for anyone near by! Good price!

This is a seaside seafood restaurant with a casual, open-air setting. While there’s no air conditioning, the refreshing sea breeze keeps it comfortable. The prices are comparable to other seafood restaurants, but what really stands out is the freshness of the seafood. Everything tasted amazing! the view here is beautiful, with a little cool breeze from the sea. the food portions are good compared to the price. the prices are also reasonable, especially since most seaside restaurants charge much more. this place is not expensive at all. the service is amazing—they kept checking if our drinks were running low. it’s a 10/10 for me 💫
Zank E — Google review
Our Thai hosts brought us again to the restaurant for a seafood lunch recently (our last visit was in Oct 2022); the place appeared still to be vibrant and still highly popular with locals as it was quite well patronised. We ordered the steamed prawns, curry crab, manis shrimps, stir-fried curry-powder squid meat, and chilli clams. They were superbly delicious and scrumptious, and highly enjoyable! Staff provided good attentive service to diners. The ambience was quite noisy and disruptive. However, we were truly surprised to learn of the dramatic and drastic price increases for the food ordered, especially since our last visit: quite shocking margins! Perhaps, inflation has finally played a role!

While the prices are on the higher side, the quality of food justifies it. The buffet also receives praise for its tasty offerings like Thai-style grilled pork neck and fresh seafood with flavorful dipping sauces. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and attentive service that matches its beachside setting.

Khun Ball and the other 2 staffs were very attentive. I loved snow fish with miso sauce - succulent and perfect taste. The bread was lovely , though its texture left a little room for improvement. Choice of Pinot Grigio for by-glass was great- very aromatic . I was impressed with limoncello twist : lemon + pandan = east meets west … smooth and soothing blend ..Definitely I’ll come back here!

This is a very nice, fine dining restaurant located in Sattahip. It’s located in the Residence Hotel and overlooks the gulf. Beautiful atmosphere. Great for photos. Has both outside and inside seating and is very spacious. The menu is primarily seafood oriented, but does have other options. Speaking of the menu, the food was delicious and well presented. When you arrive, tell security you’re going to the restaurant and they’ll call for a buggy to come take you there. When you’ve finished they’ll call for a buggy to take you back to your car. I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention the staff. They were very professional and attentive. Kudos all around. So if you are looking for a fine dining restaurant with a great atmosphere, give them a go!

I was hoping for a wider array for the main course options but we enjoyed the food. The happy hour was a great offer. It was very quiet when we ate there on a weekend night. Staff were quick & attentive. Inside decor is nice but sitting outside afterwards in the warm evening air was lovely (despite the mosquitos). The desserts were only OK. It was a bit expensive as it is Western food.

Drifters Beach Cafe is a pizza restaurant located in an excellent spot by the beach. They offer a variety of imported beers and cocktails, creating a pleasant atmosphere with light ambient music and the sound of waves lapping on the shore. Their wood fired pizzas have a thin, crisp base that many enjoy, although some feel they lack the distinct smoky flavor that comes from using wood as fuel. The staff provides friendly service, making it an enjoyable place to visit.
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 The best pizza in town! Absolutely love this place — the taste is truly different from anywhere else. Crispy crust, rich toppings, and every bite is full of flavor. The atmosphere is super chill too — perfect for hanging out with friends or just relaxing with great food. Highly recommend if you’re craving real, quality pizza! It's one of these rare places in the area which has this island vibe. Staff all smiling, great (if not the best) pizzas, cold beer, good music and this unbeatable view.

Perfect place to chill out with a beer and some grub. It's what I'd call a "sandy feet" beach bar. It's literally a few feet from the water and the music helps you chill out almost as well as the cold selection of beers. Not tried the food but everything else about the place is relaxed, friendly and chilled with a bit of hedonism thrown in for good measure. Photos taken in March but the experience is still with me now, so I'm coming back for a few days end of December. Great job to the manager. Edit: I'm back and it's December. This little bar is just as cool and relaxed as I remembered it. All sorts frequent this place which just goes to show its appeal across the board. I had the thin wood fired pizza last night which was very tasty and I took some more up to date photos. The only downside to this place is that they don't open until 11am :-)

Thai food that more than sea food. Praneat: Refined Thai Dining in Na Chom Thian Praneat is a striking Thai restaurant located right on the main road in Na Chom Thian, offering extensive indoor parking. While the surrounding area is dominated by pure seafood joints, Praneat stands out with its diverse menu of meticulously plated Thai dishes, placing it in the mid-to-high price range. They offer well-priced set menus; we enjoyed Set B for 770 Baht. We were first served a welcome drink of sweet and sour pineapple juice that was incredibly refreshing, complete with fine shreds of pineapple to assure you it’s fresh and not boxed. This was served with a unique side of thinly battered and fried Cha-plu leaves. Set Menu Highlights * Som Tum Thai: The papaya strips were large and perfectly crisp. Served alongside two baskets of sticky rice that was soft, had a great texture, and was not mushy. * Tom Saep Moo Orn (Spicy Sour Soup with Young Pork Ribs): This arrived dramatically in a metal bowl heated by fire underneath. It contained a generous amount of tender young pork ribs, and the broth had a perfectly balanced sour kick. * Kai Yang Praneat (Grilled Chicken): The portion was substantial, and the chicken meat was tender. * Lap Ped (Duck Larb): The duck meat was very finely minced (making it hard to discern the texture), but importantly, it had no trace of a gamey duck odor. This restaurant is highly suitable for dining with family or friends, though be mindful that the overall bill can run quite high.

The signature crab curry was indeed well made. Very addictive with rice. Though we were quite blown away with the pomelo shrimp salad. Not only was it well presented, the taste was unique too. Large shrimps with fried coconut and onion shavings, crunchy cashew nuts, with juicy sweet pomelo in tamarind sauce, to be wrapped at your own leisure in betel nut leaves. If you want to try the popular local raw shrimp sashimi, this is well made. The shrimps are sweet and fresh, served with aromatic spicy chilli dip and raw veg. Im not a fan of bitter gourd but the complimentary slices makes an interesting combo.

Undoubtedly the finest pizza in Thailand can be found at La Taverna Bang Saray. Their thin crust is cooked to perfection, topped generously with delicious ingredients. Customers rave about their Caesar Salad, which is also of high quality. The house red wine is reasonably priced and service is efficient. Located in the charming area of Bang Saray, this Italian eatery offers delectable dishes such as spaghetti bolognese and lasagna when they run out of pizza.
This was our favorite dinner in Bang Saray. Our family of 6 started out with a wood fire pepperoni and sausage pizza as an appetizer. The crust was amazing and the sauce fresh. A very nice selection of imported wines from various countries. We had the Chianti and Barbera from Italy which were nice bottles. The pasta was homemade, sauces rich and savory, and lasagna was exceptional. Ended the dinner with cheesecake and Tiramisu. Definitely a must for a wonderful meal and great atmosphere.

A charming Italian restaurant that effortlessly combines cozy ambiance with beautiful decor. Menu is impressively extensive, offering a wide variety of traditional Italian dishes that can cater to all tastes. Proper wood-fired oven. For pizza, the crust was a standout: perfectly baked with a nice crunch, but I found the cheese topping left much to be desired, as it was a bit too soggy for my liking. A crisper top layer would elevate that pie to true perfection. Pasta was cooked al dente and drenched in rich, flavorful sauces that had me savoring each bite. Service was attentive and friendly.

Very nice Italian. Pizza is amazing, really crispy stone baked base, tasty sauce, can't go wrong. Ravioli is home-made, for me, the pasta is too thick, but it all tastes good. Duck in orange sauce is really lovely. The staff are great, always smiling and attentive. There is also a large wine selection. Air-conditioned inside or you can eat outside and watch the pizza chef in action.

An absolute gem in Bang Saray, La Taverna offers an authentic Italian experience with every bite. From the rich, hearty soup to the perfectly crisp garlic bread, every dish — including the vegetarian pizza, pesto pasta, and the heavenly tiramisu and cheesecake — was a delight. The rustic ambience, lightning-fast service, and warm hospitality made the experience even more special. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for true Italian flavors in Pattaya!

We have been to 100s of Italian restaurant and unfortunately this was one of the worst experience we have. We read the reviews before but I'm not sure whether we only had bad experience or in general. The lady at the restaurant wasn't welcoming nature at all. The margarita pizza wasn't tasty at all; the cheese was kind of separated from the pizza base. No one was attainable whether we need anything or not. We need to leave our table twice to ask for ketchup and spoon. The inside atmosphere was very dull.

Great Italian restaurant in the town. Good wine selection. Proper pizza oven. Nice classic Italian food and generous portions. Interior would benefit from a freshen up.

The Beach Restaurant ร้านอาหาร เดอะบีช

$$$$affordable
Restaurant
The Beach Restaurant ร้านอาหาร เดอะบีช offers a serene beachfront setting with palm trees and a laid-back ambiance, perfect for enjoying Thai and Western cuisine while taking in the breathtaking Gulf of Thailand views. While some found the prices to be on the higher side, many appreciated the delicious food, especially highlighting dishes like seafood krapow and chicken wings.
One of the best Thai restaurants we’ve had so far. The ambience is so nice, the food is so good (especially the fresh shrimp), the price is also reasonable. Overall, it was very worth it and will definitely come back again for our next Thai adventure. 😁🌅🫶🏻

We just arrived in Bang Sare, and we decided to try out The Beach Restaurant since it was a short walk from our condo. It's in a great location with amazing views of the gulf. The food was good and the servings were more than generous for the price, but some of the seafood was a bit too salty for our taste. The atmosphere is chill, so it was a prefect place to stop in to after our drive from Bangkok. The staff were friendly, and we'll definitely return to sample more from their menu when we're next in Bang Sare.

We have driven by here on numerous occasions and finally decided to give it a try. It was my girlfriends birthday and 10 of us ate for the first time at this restaurant. The food was delicious, and the portions were plentiful. The staff were perfect. I dropped off a birthday cake and they kept it cold for us. Thank you to the staff for making it a memorable birthday for my girlfriend!!!

This is a little gem. Fantastic restaurant even on a hot day. Plenty of sea breeze and great air quality. Food is excellent and real value for money. Very nice staff as well. Please don't tell to many people. We will be back.

I stayed in Bang Saray for three days and decided to drop by for a late lunch. It’s a great spot to sit back and take in the water views. There were empty tables already reserved along the front of the restaurant, so I ended up sitting with another guest at their table. I ordered the green chicken curry and rice with a Chang beer. The waiter asked re spice level, I said medium but it was very mild. (I don’t mind chilli - just not when it blows my head off haha) The portion size was generous with ample amounts of chicken. I dropped by the following afternoon and had a cold drink and made a table reservation for that evening. When I arrived back I found the table with my name on it, sat down and within a couple of minutes one of the staff attended with the menu. They also provide a separate BBQ order form which you tick off the items you want. I ordered the bbq chicken souvlaki which is served with a salad, two sauces and a roast potato if requested. The meal was delivered in 10 minutes and again the portion size was generous. The chicken was succulent and juicy with peppers and onion on the skewer. The staff were all very friendly and were able to answer my questions in English. The ambiance is very relaxed and chilled, definitely worth a visit or two if you’re in town. It does get quite busy, so I would recommend dropping by before or after peak hours. Heaps of parking available 👍 Great food, great atmosphere, awesome service ✌️

Delicious thai food in a beautiful setting. Only the road is between you and the sea. Tasty curries, spicy salads and nice views at sunset!
JP U — Google review
This is a nice little restaurant with plenty of shade and a good seaview. The food tasted good and we can recommend the seafood krapow and chicken wings too. The price is good too, not expensive. Toilets are okay and plenty of parking next to the restaurant. Took a star off because it took five minutes to find staff to pay the bill. They were all at a table down the back with no one stationed in the restaurant where the customers were. Service should be better but still a good restaurant.
Jay T — Google review
Service is great, food tasty, chairs comfy & views wonderful. Breeze helps too. We thoroughly enjoyed our 1st BBQ dinner here with some live music, also available on every Sat. Jumbo Prawns were awesome & my Chicken Kabobs were quite probably the best I've ever had. Great sunset tonite as well. Very fine spot, we really enjoy coming here. Our daughter was visiting for a week & chose this place twice cuz she likes it so much as do we. Cocktails are tasty & beer is cold. We shall return should the opportunity present itself.

Restaurant
View Mare Beach Front Bar & Restaurant in Pattaya is a unique and remote beachfront eatery that offers a laid-back atmosphere with a peaceful, quiet beach right in front. The restaurant provides an amazing ocean view and is known for its wide selection of real Thai cuisine, particularly seafood. With two open covered terraces facing the sea, it's an idyllic spot to enjoy delicious food and drinks.
We really enjoy the food and the place. Right in front of the beach, with delicious food and friendly staff. You can also walk to the beach and enjoy the beach while they prepare your food. Plenty of parking space.
Ridin D — Google review
The dining experience offers fresh food in a cozy atmosphere. Simple yet flavorful dishes like Stir-Fried Cabbage with Fish Sauce and Spicy Chinese Broccoli with Prawn Salad remind us of meals made in a family kitchen. For those looking to indulge, the Steamed Crab and Steamed Seabass with Lime and Chillies come highly recommended and are a must-try.
Visudhisom R — Google review
The view is really really great, nature does its best and this restaurant is lucky enough to get this place. The food is just barely worth the expensive cost, and the amount of food on every dish is less. If it wasn’t for the nature view, it should’ve been worse. One of the waitress here had bad serving attitude. We ordered a beer and it came out with a strange sour taste, then we asked the waitress to replace it for us. The waitress did not understand much english, and she grown annoyed after we explained a few times. She even stuck to her own thought that she insisted the beer was fine (without any tasting or anything) and insisted us to pay one more time for another beer, and then put both beer at the tray and left us. We didn’t understand how she want with us and the problem was barely solved with the help of the thai people at the other table. Conclusion: ☹️Expensive ☹️Unworthy-of-the-cost food ☹️Bad service 🙂view (nature’s work, not the restaurant)

The food tastes okay, a bit salty for me. The view and atmosphere are really nice, better to come in the evening when it’s cooler. It’s still under construction right now, but overall a good place to chill and have a meal.

Food is ok, staff is friendly, service is ok, view is great with a nice beach in front, restaurant has a nice ambiance. when weather is ok you can see the sunset good, parking is possible but full is full, but all with all if you nearby go and enjoy here

Absolutely fantastic restaurant I thoroughly enjoyed everything I tried which my girlfriend orders we had a fantastic time with great live music from a fantastic trio. A lovely place and well worth a visit

We came across this restaurant by accident through google review and decided to go though the reviews are mixed. The food was excellent. The flavour was strong but balanced. The ingredient was fresh and well cooked. Would come back again for sure.
Akarawin C — Google review
Incredible location, and a perfect spot to eat right on the beach. Feels like paradise. The food was just ok. I should note that this was a company event with a buffet, not the sit down type food so that may have been why. It was an overall great experience however, mostly because of the location and atmosphere. It is extremely relaxing, as soon as you get there. The breeze is nice and views are extraordinary. The staff are very friendly and service is fantastic.

The menu features a variety of Western delights and Thai favorites, catering to diverse palates. The beach club provides an enjoyable experience with poolside lounging, great music, and delicious cocktails and food. It's an ideal spot for both romantic couples and groups of friends looking for a fun day out by the sea.
Very nice and luxurious place. With pool and beach. It's a bit high priced, but not more than expected. You need to spend at least 3000 baht to get bed. But you can have as many people there as you like
Pernille B — Google review
Nice pool and staff were all friendly. The Cocktails seems like a ladies drink but they can put more alcohol if you request it. I don’t fancy the DJ’s choice of songs, it’s a bit too old for my liking but overall, i would come back to have a chill afternoon.
Ivana S — Google review
Perfect for both pool and beach parties. The space is huge and well-organized — we successfully hosted an event with over 500 guests. Highly recommended for large-scale celebrations.

Well maintained Well organised Resort . Huge space Ideal for both Pool Parties and Beach parties. Can accommodate round about 500 approx places . As we were 550 people and was accommodated well .

Great beach, with many benches paid out for our big group to relax, get a complimentary foot massage, nice sunset view followed by cocktail and dinner.
Sandeep V — Google review
My friends and I had a wonderful afternoon in Alexa beach club. Although I was a bit worried, because of the previous reviews, our experience was nothing short of amazing. The DJ was playing really nice music, our waiter was super friendly and attentive and the food was delicious. It’s an absolutely normal practice for the beach clubs to have a minimum spend charge. So don’t believe people who are trashing a good establishment, because they did not make an effort to check the website or call to make a booking. This place has very reasonable prices and it’s really worth visiting.
Farawayquest — Google review
Nice pool bar. Has a minimum spend to get one of the lounge beds/sofa. Cocktails selection was good also. Plays a lot of house music.
Michelle S — Google review
Lovely club and pool area, good DJ/drink only down side was the waitress who was managing the front desk as you walk in was very rude when telling us to move off the seating unless we spend b7000. Made us feel very unwelcome just because we weren't a large group spending lots of money but a couple celebrating our anniversary with a few drinks.

Transportation in Sattahip

Getting around Sattahip can be a little daunting if you’re new here. We can help list some of the major public transportation methods if you don’t want to rely on a car.

Nearby airports

U-Tapao Rayong–Pattaya International Airport

International airport
Airport
U-Tapao–Rayong–Pattaya International Airport is a small and clean airport located away from the city, with strict security checks. The currency exchange office doesn't charge commission, and although rates are not the best, they are acceptable. Clean toilets and a nearby 7-11 store for SIM cards make it convenient for travelers. However, transportation to and from the airport may require planning as public transport options are limited.
The airport is spacious with not so many people as you'd expect in the international airport. Exchange is next to Exit 3, the currency is lower than in the city. To the left from the entrance there's an office of Refund. Also, there's some cafeteria which sells sausages, pastry and drinks at a very reasonable price which is surprising! The WC is clean and smells good)
Alex — Google review
Airport has a lot of potential granted how close it is to Pattaya and Rayong but just a couple of flights per day if that and no real amenities. Granted such low traffic I am surprised to see so many staff, never think I've seen everyone's bag be thoroughly searched after x ray but I guess it's better than them standing around. Hopefully more flights fly out of here, meaning business or food vendors may open.
A8 8 — Google review
The staff is very untrained and they have no idea about s7 rules in other airports (example: BKK). They urgerd everybody use the calibrator even if their fares included free luggage. Even tho, they confused everyone with line queues 2 times, people started to get angry. It's 2 am in a vacation city, people go home to work tomorrow after week being on a beach. Can you please be more soft with rules like other airports?
SoGood T — Google review
Airport size is relatively smaller. Only several shops including a duty free shop are available after check in. No water dispenser, but can buy drinking water bottles at one of the shops. 7-11 is located outside of the airport.
Arina O — Google review
A very nice and clean..small airport located away from the city. You have to take a cab from and to the main city from this airport. There is a 7-11 store right across the main departure building. Also there are few small shops outside the departure building to eat before you fly. Easy check-in process. Strict checking. Even drinking water not allowed
Jitin B — Google review
The worst airport ever! Their luggage scale is rigged, it shows overweight so that they can charge you. Had connecting flight after and my luggage weight was ok. Also they take away power banks, they noted some nonsense power banks limitations ! No food places at the terminal. Terrible!
Sal Y — Google review
Quite possibly the most commercially dead airport I have been to in some time. Which is strange considering this is such a popular destination for tourists from all over the world and there are direct flights coming in here from as far away as Russia and Korea. 99% of shops seem to be closed permanently. And there was only one small sandwich place and one duty-free store open when I was there. On the other hand, the check-in process as well as the immigration and security checks were very efficient. Maybe because they only have one or two planes departing /arriving at any one time.
Lisa C — Google review
Super convenient airport to fly out from / in to. Although located a little future from Pattaya, the check-in / security process goes very quickly and smooth. No stress flying.
