Steel Pier is an amusement park situated on a pier extending over the Atlantic Ocean. It offers a variety of rides, a midway, and food vendors. The pier has a rich history as an entertainment destination featuring dances, musical performances, carnival rides, and novelty acts. Notably, it was known for the daring diving horse attraction that ran from the 1920s to the 70s. Additionally, Steel Pier boasts three boardwalk bars with refreshing cocktails and scenic views of the ocean.
I took my kids here over Memorial Day weekend, and to my surprise, it wasn’t very crowded. We first visited one evening after dinner but didn’t go on any rides. We returned the next day during the daytime and purchased $88 worth of tickets. Be sure to pay attention to the ticket deals—some come with discounts. One of our tickets included a free ride on the wheel with the purchase of two, and another offered a free popcorn or cotton candy with a purchase. Unfortunately, we didn’t use all our tickets since my daughter wanted someone to join her on the rides, and none of us are as adventurous as she is. The kiddie rides mostly cost 4 tickets, while others range from 6 to 8. Rides like the Ferris wheel, helicopter ride, and slingshot have separate pricing. There are also many fun games for both kids and adults, with the chance to win big or small prizes. While we didn’t try any of the food spots, I did buy popcorn and received a free cotton candy, which we enjoyed we had dinner inside the casino. Overall, we had a great time—and being right by the beach made it even better. What more could you ask for?

An iconic spot to visit if you're an out of town visitor. My family and I enjoyed the sights and a few rides. Everything looks prettier at sunset when the rides are lit up. Prices are as to be expected for a high tourist area.
Jessica J — Google review
Classic arcade park fun. The wheel is worth the price. 2 full spins. Sunset views were spectacular. The helicopter ride is quick and limited to 2 people. It was great. Games are pricey as is the food. Just enjoy the smiles on your family's faces. Check for times. 5th visit to AC and finally here when it was open.
S B — Google review
3,5 stars if it was possible. not the most beautiful pier. there is very few spots to have a view on the shore. all the space is occupied with attractions. the city should improve the beauty of the general public space. there is enough money to building horrible casinos so there should be money to enhance the boardwalk and the pier. the giant wheel might be enjoyable. the attractions looks fun. the helicopter tour with the heliport at the end of the pier seams tour be very odd and dangerous. the helicopter flys very closed to the pier and the people. we all know this kind of helicopter tour is dangerous as the maintenance is usualy not as good as the maintenance done for helicopter used for real work.
Pierrick C — Google review
I had the opportunity to walk through this amusement park. It had a great mix of stuff. Price wise it was a little more expensive then a fair. The coolest thing was the helicopter ride that will fly you around the city or up and down the beach. It's a really quick ride, maybe 5 min for $75 beach flight but if you have never been in a helicopter to worth it.
Fewx J — Google review
The last night of our stay we went to the pier. Our party included multiple adults, teenagers, toddlers, and my elderly mother. We all had a great time! Wasn't too crowded, the lines were short, and the rides were a lot of fun.
Jaime C — Google review
Great place to be with family and kids... has a 2 bars to join yourself while kids can join rides and have fun.. if you ever come to Atlantic city the boardwalk is a must come.

Great place for the family with helicopter rides, ferris wheel, bumper cars, roller coasters and many other attractions for kids. Fun place to hang out for a day or night

Absecon Lighthouse, the tallest lighthouse in New Jersey, offers visitors a chance to climb its 228 steps for sweeping views of Atlantic City. The site underwent restoration in the late 1990s and early 2000s, with funding from various organizations. Visitors can explore the two-acre property, visit the Keepers Cottage museum and gift shop, and experience the thrill of ascending to the top of this historic landmark.
It was a nice experience coming here. If it’s too high to make it all the way up in one shot for you, there are six landings where you can take a break. It was a nice view up top. Small though. Definitely tight spacing overall. Probably really pretty at night. Lighthouse keeper is friendly. When you make it up there, he gives you a little card congratulating you for making it which is so cute. It wasn’t too bad going up for me but when going back down, my legs felt jiggly. I can see the height through the little holes in the stairs. The little gift shop downstairs is pretty neat too. Wasn’t too pricey to go up. $10 adults and $5 kids. There’s definitely a lot of history here. Feels like a little museum.
Kelly C — Google review
5 Stars – A Must-Visit Historic Gem! Climbing the 228 steps to the top of the Absecon Lighthouse is absolutely worth it! The 360-degree view from the top is breathtaking and gives you a unique perspective of Atlantic City and the coastline. The lighthouse is well-maintained, and the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. There’s a small museum and a charming gift shop at the base, which add to the experience. Parking is limited to about 10–12 spaces, but we had no trouble finding a spot. At just $10, it’s a great value for a bit of local history, exercise, and unforgettable views. Highly recommended!
Deepnath D — Google review
Absolutely amazing visit. The kindest friendliest most knowledgeable staff. Dan at the top is awesome. He knows so much about lighthouses and how they work and very patient with teaching the kids. Great views and a great time and i can't wait to stop back
Thomas M — Google review
Even if you are local or from NJ/tri-state area, I highly recommend visiting this lighthouse. 3rd tallest in the US (I learned that there). The attendant downstairs could not have been nicer and more personable. Pace yourself and the climb up is not too bad, the climb down was more challenging as I was getting dizzy. The view from the top-breathtaking!
Leslie P — Google review
I visited on a Thursday. Dan, the volunteer lighthouse guide shared a wealth of information. He was quite knowledgeable, having visited many lighthouses up and down the East Coast. I enjoyed looking at and discussing the photographs he has taken over the years. 5️⃣ landings until you reach the 🔝 228 steps is not so bad. Catch your breath at each landing as you peruse the posted information and take a look out the windows. Each window offers a different view of Atlantic City.

Spent a couple of days in AC and our first stop was Absecon Lighthouse. Nice property, loved the garden, the historic museum, and getting exercise while climbing to the top. Got some nice pics too!
Elizabeth H — Google review
Absecon Lighthouse was really cool to check out and climb up. The view from the top gives you great views of the casinos and beach.

It was a small, charming lighthouse area with free parking nearby. There’s also a cozy little shop—very welcoming and nice to browse. A peaceful and pleasant stop!

Aquarium
Nature & Parks
Located in the Ocean Life Center complex at Gardners Basin, the Atlantic City Aquarium is a popular attraction showcasing over 100 marine animals and fish. Visitors can enjoy interactive exhibits, including a tropical shark touch tank and the Mid-Atlantic Coastal Zone featuring local organisms like horseshoe crabs and sea urchins. The aquarium also houses seahorses, moon jellies, moray eels, and Terrapins.
Atlantic City Aquarium – A Charming Comeback! Visited on May 16, 2025 After being closed for five long years, the Atlantic City Aquarium has finally reopened its doors – and what a delightful return it is! While the renovation is still in progress (with the second floor under construction), the first floor is fully open and offers a small but charming selection of exhibits. The aquarium may be modest in size, but it’s packed with personality and perfect for a short, relaxing visit. The marine life on display is well cared for, and the atmosphere is clean, bright, and welcoming. It’s a great spot for families with young kids or anyone looking to enjoy a peaceful hour or two by the water. One of the highlights is the incredible view from the third floor – a beautiful panorama of the beach that’s worth the visit alone. Currently, they’re offering a generous 50% discount on admission: just $6 for adults and $3 for children, which makes it not only enjoyable but also extremely budget-friendly. Plus, there’s plenty of free parking, which is always a huge bonus in Atlantic City. All in all, the Atlantic City Aquarium is making a great comeback, and we can’t wait to see it fully restored. It’s a sweet little gem that’s definitely worth supporting!
Deepnath D — Google review
The aquarium was really nice for the size and price. The second floor is still empty as they're waiting for more animals to arrive, but it was still a cool experience. I especially enjoyed being able to touch the horseshoe crabs and even the small sharks. They also had seahorses and jellyfish, which were fascinating to see up close. My only wish is that there were more information signs or descriptions about the animals, since it would have made the visit even more educational.
Alyssa G — Google review
We visited last week. The aquarium's second floor is closed for renovations, so the exhibits are limited right now. The loggerhead sea turtle was the star of the visit Great views from the upper floor. This would be a nice place in warmer weather to spend time outdoors.
Michele — Google review
My child loved the touch a shark area. The turtle, crab and lobster were great to see. They had a nice variety for only the first floor having sea creatures yet. We tried the photo booth, which was cute and fun. Behind the aquarium it is nice to see the area with the boats. We spent a good 40 mins total and it was a nice stop for the kids.
Suzanne L — Google review
The place has so much potential, but honestly, they have the whole 2nd floor empty and not much happening downstairs. We drove 30 min to get there and see like 10 species (including crabs and jellyfishes). Not worth the trip or the $6 they charge.
Luca S — Google review
This is nice looking forward to when it is completely open. Right now it's only part open just one floor. I really enjoyed watching my little cuz enjoy it
Ginger J — Google review
My wife and I took our grandsons (ages 4 and 5) to this aquarium. It was small and obviously not fully open (the 2nd floor was empty), but my grands enjoyed it a lot and would have stayed for hours touching the sharks, rays, and horseshoe crabs. The fish and other sea life on display were fun to watch and so beautiful.
Dan M — Google review
It would be a 5 star but it was not fully operational. Only the 1st floor was open to the public everything else was under construction. Tickets were half price to make up for the inconvenience. The customer service was excellent and the touch tank and other limited exhibits were great. This is great for small children.

If you're looking for a quirky adventure in Atlantic City, make sure to stop by Ripley's Believe It or Not! This fascinating museum is home to an array of kitschy oddities that will leave you both amazed and entertained. With over 400 unique exhibits, including shrunken human heads and rare animal skeletons, there's something for everyone to marvel at. The eclectic collection features everything from a lock of George Washington's hair to a stunning 27-room miniature castle carved from wood.
I first stopped by this Ripley's 6 years ago and made my return visit this past holiday weekend. I absolutely love the exhibits at this location. Some of them are so outlandish that you can't help but laugh. They have some exhibits that are interactive and fun for kids and adults. If you truly like all things bizarre or unbelievable like I do, then this museum is definitely up your alley. I would also recommend checking out the one in New York City, but unfortunately that location has since closed.
Lisa S — Google review
We found it to be very entertaining, and there's a lot to see. We spent about an hour inside but you can easily spend two or more hours in there. A lot of the displays are pretty cheesy, but pretty much everything is interesting if not downright incredible. Honestly it was more interesting than most museums. Definitely worth the twenty-ish bucks for a ticket if you've never been.
Joseph W — Google review
Went to the museum in October 2022 and loved it! So much to see! $22 to get in and well worth it. Even moving quick it takes 40 or so minutes. So many cool pieces! Check it out!!!

I’ve always enjoyed going to Ripley’s for over a decade and I’m saddened to hear it will be closing at the end of the year. This place has a wide spectrum of oddities and exhibits including shrunken heads, recreations of crazy injuries, a life-sized statue of the tallest man, a piece of the Berlin Wall, giant sculptures made of everyday materials, an original bust of Abraham Lincoln, and plenty of other informative exhibits and bizarre information. This is a fun educational experience for people of all ages who have a fascination for the odd. It’s truly a gem on the AC Boardwalk and something I recommend to everyone. I will miss Ripley’s!
Frenite — Google review
A fun place to visit! Some of the exhibits were redundant, others could have used a little more light. Some stuff really wasn't suitable for young children. It was interesting. I'm not sure if some of the stuff was exaggerated, played up a little " for the show". It was very well maintained. The staff was pleasant, friendly and professional!
Lisa G — Google review
It was quite an interesting place to visit.. I highly enjoyed it. I do suggest that they do some updating to the facility. Or expand it somehow to show some form of modernization. I felt like I was walking thru the past most of the time. Again. It was a great experience but seems like it needs more. I used to work a block away from the Ripley's in Time square NY which is much newer than this one so this may be why it felt like it needs an update.
Sunny R — Google review
Ripley's is closing effective January 2023, so I would be remissed if I didn't send it off. This museum was amazing. It's a very cheap entry fee to see a lifetime curation of customs and oddities from around the world. Ripley's is famous for it's building facade and can't be missed from the Boardwalk. It's in the central pier area. Buy a ticket and bring some quarters. Have some fun before it's gone.
VS J — Google review
Since this was my first visit to this Ripley’s it was quiet refreshing to see new items, artifacts, and facts as opposed to the Times Square Ripley’s. Price wise it was extremely cheap! $35 got me admission for two, 2 souvenir books, AND a game entry for two at the laser game found at the end of the tour. The entire walkthrough including reading almost every fact available was about an hour for me and my partner, it was very interesting and we were the only ones inside at the time so we kind of had the entire space to ourselves! Personally I love Ripley’s because of all the cool facts that Mr. Ripley himself gathered to share with us all! 5/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Miniature golf course
Atlantic City Miniature Golf is a charming 18-hole course located on the North Beach end of the Atlantic City Boardwalk. This family-owned mini-golf location has been in operation for over twenty years and offers a simple, grassy course with low stone walls and small trees. It's a lovely spot for families to enjoy some outdoor fun while taking in the beautiful landscaping. The course is well-designed, making good use of space to create 18 unique and enjoyable greens.
Very nice game of golf, the course seemed to be well maintained and brought a good challenge. Only pitfall is there seems to be a homeless camp behind where people kept asking for handouts. All in all it was fun and we enjoyed ourselves playing.
Miss A — Google review
Nice detour from the beach. Very fun course. As many say, not exactly challenging, but definitely a fun time. Really good for kids. Fun decorations with statues of kids, giant golf balls, and water features. I took my young kids when it opened on a weekday and we shared the course with one other group. Looked busy later in the day and on weekends.

Sugar Factory in Atlantic City, located inside the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, is a paradise for dessert lovers. The restaurant and candy store offers an extensive menu of over-the-top sundaes and insane milkshakes that come with pyrotechnics and pumped-in music. It's a kid-friendly space with a fun vibe where both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are served with sugary garnishes like candy necklaces, licorice rope, lollipops, and more.
Crystal, the manager was AMAZING! She gave her expertise and recommendations on The Sugar Factory's menu selection. She worked the section she was serving with grace and a beautiful smile. Their chicken Parmesan entrée was huge, enough for four people. So, if you're worried about portion sizes The Sugar Factory doe not miss! We have truly enjoyed ourselves. The ambiance, food and service was exceptional and a must try!
Delilah H — Google review
Everything is really expensive and the food isn't great. Unless you want fancy drinks that steam at $50! The desserts are great. Skip dinner is not worth it. 4 people 4 meals, 2 sodas and two desserts $170 with tip. The grilled cheese was horrible. My kids didn't even finish it and they eat everything. The pasta dishes with chicken was okay minus the stems from the herbs in there. If you want to have a conversation with anyone don't go here. It's so loud. You can't hear yourself think. They play rap music really loud. Our waiter was very nice and attentive. I would not go here again. Such a waste of money
Melissa W — Google review
Idea, 5 stars. Execution, 1 star. First of all, I know I sound like a boomer here, but jfc the music is absolutely BLARING at an uncomfortable volume. I understand that they're trying to create a sound barrier between the restaurant and casino but dang. We had to shout across the table to talk! There's no clear place for the hostess stand - 3 entrances, 3 places that appear to be stands and not a soul at any of them. We asked servers who were working nearby where they'd like us to wait and finally ended up at the middle stand. It seemed like the staff was just *done* for the night - I get it, trying to not fault them for the end of a long day, but the overall experience feels like it really depends on a little panache, you know? The menu is wildly overpriced, but clever and extravagant options, great seasonal themed stuff, but for the price, I'd hope the service would be a little more attentive/enthusiastic. Again, I'm empathetic to them being at the end of a long day but still. We ordered the chicken parm for 2 (yes we played it safe) and while it was good, the sauce was quite acidic. They brought out the sauce and melted mozzarella in a separate pan and poured it on at the table, which was a nice touch. We did not have any special serving utensils but managed to get it done without making a mess with our fork and knives. The fry basket is massive (a plus, for the price) but the fries were barely warm. The giant pretzel was good, but nothing extraordinary outside of the size. The milkshake was really good though, even though we didn't get one of the super crazy ones! We spent a good chunk of change for just 2 people despite not getting drinks. On a side note, the celebrity fascination all over the restaurant is weird. The Kardashians staring down at me while I'm trying to eat was unnerving. If you want a crazy extravagant milkshake or cocktail/mocktail (loved seeing them a few dollars cheaper without alcohol) and rainbow sliders, this is a fun experience. It's not somewhere I'd rush back to, but I would definitely try something a little more "exciting" next time, just for giggles.

I stopped in for dinner at this restaurant! When we arrived we found parking on the street nearby. We walked into a Halloween themed place and we were greeted and sat. We were served by Chris and he was great! And the Manager Dianie was great too! We ordered: Toxic Zombie (vodka) Swamp Monster Loaded Fries Bat Wings My Bloody Sliders Skull Island Sundae I loved the sliders and and sundae was great but a lot lol. All in all a god experience!

This review covers our initial visit on day one of our vacation as well as dinner on our last evening. Inside, the atmosphere is right off the casino floor. It is fun and the music is low enough for people to have a conversation. Plus, their seats are phenomenal. Outside, the music is blasting and if you want to speak to the people you are with, request going inside. On our first night, Chris took care of us. He brought my girlfriend their amazing Watermelon Burst Martini. When I asked if their Traditional Margarita was not sweet, he assured me it was definitely true to the original. Chris nailed it because that was the best margarita I ever had in all of my sixty years. The salmon and burger were great. On our second trip, we went indoors and Joey took care of us. My girlfriend got her Watermelon Burst again and I asked for a gin martini. It was strange that Joey did not ask what gin I wanted but I got the sense that he knew exactly what he was doing. Soon, I had an exceptional Bombay Sapphire martini with a twist. We wanted to eat light, so we ordered their artichoke dip and their rainbow sliders for some last night in AC fun. I have never seen such a fantastic amount of tasty dip with assorted tortilla chips. It was a meal of its own. The sliders were tasty but I think I have had enough food dye for a lifetime. From our five-day stay in AC, Sugar Factory clearly had the best bartending. Many thanks to Joey and Chris for taking care of us so well!

The cafe is located in the Hard Rock Hotel - Casino, on the first floor, you can enter from the promenade from the street. The cafe is beautiful, the interior is stunning, there is a shop of sweets and desserts. The service is excellent. Inside the cafe there is a photographer walking around and offering to take a photo together, the photo is given out before you finish your lunch, according to my observations. We ordered tomato soup, it is simply a masterpiece, it is worth ordering. I ordered an omelette, it was also very tasty, and a four cheese sandwich, it was also a masterpiece. You should definitely try the watermelon cocktail with a presentation, it comes with watermelon jelly candies, children love it very much. I 100% recommend visiting this cafe

We are never disappointed at The Sugar Factory in Atlantic City. My mom LOVES the tomato bisque soup. I had the French onion soup and chicken parm sliders (with vodka sauce. Yummy!). How have I never seen these on the menu before? Erica was a very attentive server and took excellent care of us. The only difficult thing about coming here is deciding what to have. It’s ALL so delicious!

This location had great music and our brunch was amazing. Very filling. Erica was our server, she was great, attentive and always checking in on us making sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely come back.

Experience the beauty of Atlantic City from a unique perspective with Atlantic City Cruises Inc. Enjoy a tranquil sunset cruise through the marinas and back bays of the Atlantic Ocean, taking in stunning views of the cityscape as day turns into night. Onboard the Cruisn 1, a licensed vessel with panoramic windows and comfortable seating, you can watch Bottlenose dolphins and other marine wildlife up close.
Best way to see Atlantic City! Another great dolphin cruise thanks to Atlantic City Cruises Inc.! The crew was fantastic. very friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable and attentive. we got to see several dolphins, as well as beautiful beaches and Atlantic City from the ocean. The boat was comfortable and very safe. Prices are reasonable and if you're a dolphin lover like we are, this cruise does not dissappoint! Highly recommend it!

Great cruise, loved the commentary, very informative. The captain made sure we had a smooth ride and adjusted the course with the weather. Very nice view of the skyline and if you’re lucky, the dolphins. Definitely worth it!
Dacina C — Google review
The cruise was great. Everything was smooth and done at a timely matter. They left the dock exactly when it starts and arrive on time. The ride was super smooth and they showed us nice sceneries. They also gave us historical background at each area they took us too. Very nice, I recommend.

Every time we stay in Atlantic City, we go on a cruise with Atlantic City Cruises. We've taken all of the different cruises, and we've enjoyed them all. On July 18, we did the 11am Skyline Tour. Captain/Owner Jeff and his crew are very friendly and professional. They have a full bar, but my husband and I enjoyed the $5 mimosa special. We even saw lots of dolphins 🐬 as we headed out into the ocean. We had a great time, and we'll be back!

We had a wonderful time on the 2-hour dolphin-watching cruise with Atlantic City Cruises! I went with my husband, and it was such a relaxing and enjoyable experience from start to finish. The crew was friendly and knowledgeable, and the boat was spacious and comfortable. We were lucky to spot quite a few dolphins swimming —not too far from the boat! It was magical to see them in their natural environment. Whether you're visiting AC or live nearby, I highly recommend this cruise for a fun and memorable outing on the water.

We had a great time. This was booked as a last minute thing. Booking was easy to navigate compared to other sites I have used. The crew was amazing so sweet and the drinks were NOT watered down at all which was a pleasant surprise. The DJ was great engaged with the passengers. I can say that the vibe on the 2nd fl was great that day. We danced like no one was watching and everyone just joined in. Overall great experience and will book again.

What a wonderful excursion! Captain and first mate were fantastic. Loved hearing the history of AC - even saw a couple dolphins! Great value for the hour tour

It was a WINDY day and the captain handled it like a champ!! kept us entertained while searching for dolphins!! it was AMAZING when we finally saw them. what beautiful creatures!! some got boat sick so take something beforehand if you have an issue with that. you’re probably gonna get crazy wet if your standing on the front of the boat, but it’s sooooo worth the view and the fun!! definitely a must do!! we made such great family memories

Seated quickly. Atmosphere is awesome. Got the nachos for an appetizer but I was all I needed, huge portion. Wife got the shrimp platter. High quality food. Our Waiter (Mo) was friendly and attentive. The food was pretty good and overall the service was great....after you make it past the host. They told us that strollers weren't allowed and we should have known to bring our car seat.....not sure where to find that information. All and all the visit was good. And to top it all off, to offer a free picture only to up sale pictures in a cheap frame.

There are truly no words to capture how amazing our experience was at the Rainforest Café! From the moment you walk in, you’re instantly transported into a lush jungle—complete with mesmerizing sounds, lifelike animations, and breathtaking décor that makes you feel like you’ve stepped into a real rainforest. The food was an absolute 10/10 (actually, more like 1000/10) — delicious and totally worth the price. What really made the experience unforgettable, though, was the exceptional customer service. Our server, Kelsey, was the sweetest and most attentive person ever. Thank you, Kelsey, for making our visit even more special and going above and beyond! If you’re thinking about visiting, don’t hesitate — it’s worth every minute. And make sure to check out the adorable gift shop by the entrance before you leave!

We had the best dinner date at the Rainforest Cafe last night. Our server was Moe and he was amazing . Very sweet and helpful. We both loved our food and couldn’t finish it so packed it up for to go. Last time we went there it was on my birthday and I had the Bombay Chicken & Shrimp and I hope next time I’ll take that. Their foods are always delicious! And I love the whole environment! Will be back soon! 5 star to Moe!!!

We were seated almost immediately and the food exceeded expectations! I figured because of the themed aspect of it, that the food wouldn't be amazing but it was delicious!! Korean Fried Chicken Lettuce Wraps were PHENOMENAL. The pieces of lettuce were tiny so we just mostly ate the dish with forks, but it was the perfect size for 2 adults to share. Has a kick to it!! Drinks were good, and most of them come with a souvenir cup to take home. Got the Crispy Chicken Bruschetta for an entree and it was large enough to bring home leftovers! Chicken was great, crispy on the outside but juicy on the inside. All the food was hot, didn't take long despite how busy it was, and our server Michael was very attentive and did a great job. Got the Volcano cake for our friend as it was his birthday, and it was enough for all 6 of us to have plenty of dessert. Would come back!! I'd recommend Rainforest Cafe for a couple date, group date, and to bring the family! Kids especially would love this place.

5 star all the way!! The waiter Michael was on point. Made some recommendations and they were phenomenal!! The chicken in both dishes were so moist and tender!! Well well well, this was my first Time here and my waitress THERESA was a Breathe of Fresh Air 😀. She was professional and kind. Very informative with the dishes and drink menu. Now regarding the rewards program it was a must to sign up. There are so many other places I frequent that I realized I'm losing money by not being a member. Video arcade
Lucky Snake Arcade & Sports Bar at Showboat is a massive 85,000-square-foot entertainment hub that offers a wide array of attractions for visitors of all ages. From classic carnival games like Ramp-Roll-A-Ball and Whac-A-Mole to popular video games, pinball machines, and virtual reality rides, there's something for everyone. The arcade also features mini-golf and a thrilling go-kart raceway where you can reach speeds of up to 25 miles per hour.
Huge arcade with a lot to do for kids. There is go-karts, bowling, mini golf, and a lot of games, from the newest stuff to old-school classics. It’s a great place to hang out for a few hours, especially if you’re with family. A few games weren’t working, but most of it was running and there’s more than enough to keep everyone busy. Definitely worth checking out if you’re at Showboat.
Berl S — Google review
I'm glad I purchased a Groupon to for the Go-Kart Racing. If I would have paid full price for this activity I would be even more upset. Let's start at the beginning. I've never been to an activity that was so unorganized. There was a line for both to purchase tickets or to redeem the Groupon. I had my Groupon and stood in line for over 30 minutes. The staff were really friend and helpful which is the only reason why I even gave it one star. The Groupon does not include the head gear needed and is $6 each. Once you purchase your tickets or your Groupon is redeemed they print out a paper with your name on it. Afterwards there is a huge unorganized crowd waiting at the gate to start racing. Again there is not organization, no line, no ropes to keep people in order nothing. There's a mix of people waiting to hear their names to race and spectators. You would think they would have a monitor or better system for people to view their names and the order they would race in. But no you have to listen carefully for the staff to call your name in an extremely crowded arcade. It took over an hour and half for our names to be called. Someone even had a time slot reservation in which was not honored. They also had to wait amongst the crowd. Once we finally got to the cars to race although I could barely call it a race they kept slowing down our cars. We paid for 7 laps but I can't even say we did more than 4 laps. My daughter was so fed up she didn't even want to visit the arcade afterwards. If you purchase the Arcade Card from Groupon as well it's a timed card as soon as you swipe it the time starts. You also don't earn points for prizes and the card it only valid at certain machines. I would NEVER participate in the Go Karts again. Hopefully they will create a ore organized system. I walked around and viewed the skating rink and mini golf I wouldn't recommend unless you little ones with you. I don't think teenagers would enjoy it.

Large arcade because it occupies most of the lobby floor of the old Showboat casino. They have many cranes, shooters, skeeball, pinball, etc. About 3/4 ticket games and the rest arcade games. They do have mini golf, go kart track, and various other things, as well as a prize counter. Not a bad arcade if you're already on the boardwalk. If you're not staying there or walking from somewhere nearby, self parking is $25. Some games did not work and no one around to fix it give credits. The place is somewhat run down, carpets taped, AC problems, etc. The employees I spoke to were nice.
Joey F — Google review
I had a blast tonight. Michele was a kind employee at the arcade and made my night. There's a game for everybody and every age. Just go and have fun as a family.
Ruchelle W — Google review
It's hard to understand that this casino is said to be super kid friendly, yet you can tell that it's been left in the late 70s. The interior design is so ugly, stale and dingy, not to mention the air quality is not great for kids at all. It's very evident that the owners simply lined the walls with claw machines and occasionally tossed a new arcade game in the mix. A lot of giant space was closed off with gates. It was decorated for Christmas when we visited in mid May and the bathroom attendant stood on her phone drinking coffee, clearly annoyed that I asked for a paper toilet cover in a place that I should have received a Hep B shot before entering. It's really just a skanky Dave & Busters with an indoor water park.
Dana N — Google review
Great games, fun atmosphere and perfect location for kids and fairly reasonably priced considering how expensive everything is in AC. However THE SMELL! The place smells like a musty old basement that hasn’t been cleaned in 50 years. The casino years really took its toll. The carpets are horrible and chances are, where the smell is coming from. We enjoyed our time playing games but really struggled to stay longer because of the smell. I guess this may not bother others but it does make it unpleasant to stay there long term. I then question my health and what I’m actually breathing in. Possibly mold? Getting a pass is definitely worth it and let’s you play quite a few games, but why would you want to if the place smells like that? If they can get that under control I would give them more stars. Unfortunately the smell is just that off putting.
J — Google review
The place is big. But that’s about it. A lot of the games kept stealing our credits. Few games took credits twice for one game. And those damn go kart prices are insane. $40 per race per person is highway robbery. There are better go kart places. The boardwalk one is better

Atlantic City Beach is a wide stretch of soft, camel-hued sands that impresses visitors with its cleanliness and ample space for spreading out. The beach offers various activities such as body boarding, boogie boarding, and wave jumping for kids, while adults can enjoy leisurely walks along the flat terrain near the water or relax in beach chairs.
While our visit was in March, not in the summer months it was still wonderful weather for the time of year with sunshine ☀️. The beach is beautiful and very large. If you enjoy walking along the water , you can easily walk endlessly. There are plenty of sea shells 🐚 all along the beach. The boardwalk with food options and shops as well as Ferris wheel would be enjoyable in the summer.

Nice wide beach, plenty of space to chill and enjoy the waves. Access via boardwalk, you can see plenty of shells in the sand, beach is mostly clean, only a few trash items observed over 100+m distance. 3 stars, will be back to see the sunrise.

Cool, active, at times choppy water. Beautiful scenery. Located steps away from the boardwalk. Something to definately experience.
Perry K — Google review
The beach was okay overall. The vibe on the boardwalk was really fun, lots of energy, music, and food. But chair and umbrella rentals were very expensive, which was a downside. Also, there were very few outdoor showers, so it wasn’t easy to rinse off the sand. Still, it’s a decent spot for a few hours if you’re already in the area.

I had an amazing time this oast weekend here. The beach was clean, the people were friendly, I found an awesome church called the crossroads to worship our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at. Bally's Atlantic City Hotel & Casino offers beachside accommodations with two casinos and nightly entertainment, as well as a variety of international dining options. The property features different room styles, including traditional and contemporary interiors in the main building, bright and airy rooms in the Claridge Tower, spacious and environmentally friendly Garden Tower rooms, art deco Bally's Tower rooms, and newly renovated boutique-style Ruby Rooms.
I saw a lot of reviews that were negative and understood how to make this experience better with the help of speaking with the front desk representative prior to booking and staying: STAY IN THE BALLYS TOWER. DO NOT STAY IN THE DENNIS TOWER. THOSE ROOMS ARE OLD AND DATED. BALLYS IS THE RENOVATED TOWER!!! The rooms were modern and the bathroom was beautiful. No issues with anything. I only stayed 1 night to attend the John Legend concert at Ocean Casino. I don’t have much feedback regarding the restaurants or casino area in there, but the concern mainly seems to be about rooms. The difference is night and day. I hope this helps!!

My first time staying at a Bally's. Overall I enjoyed my stay. I think the location is great. Everything that u would want or need is pretty close. The people at the hotel from the front desk, to security, to housekeeping. Very kind and helpful. The rooms were cool, but very small and dated. However they did some renovations to the bally tower and those rooms seem pretty nice. They are still renovating so I the side I stayed was not that nice. However once I got in to the room and seen it had a tube I had to request to be put in a room with a standing shower. As I just had knees surgery and could not get in and out of the tube. They did switch my room for no additional charge and that room was very nice. So I would go back and recommend people try it. Just be prepared if you use to 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐ ⭐ hotel this ain't it. More like. 3-4

Back in my college days, I spent more than a fair share of time here, often to the detriment of my wallet, but never without a story to tell. Now, years later and with a stronger bankroll, I find myself revisiting with a different perspective. From a leisure standpoint, the experience still holds its charm. The pit bosses are attentive and accommodating, ensuring the tables run smoothly and guests feel looked after. It’s not the flashiest venue by any means, but it delivers exactly what one expects: straightforward gaming and a comfortable environment. If you’re looking for a quick session on the East Coast, this remains a dependable stop. Not perfect, but reliable, an establishment that understands its role and caters to it well.

Stayed in the Balley's Tower with the sea view/boardwalk view in mid-week in early October. Still good weather and stuff to see/do on the boardwalk, but not everything was open. Older rooms (fraying carpet at the edges, dripping water faucets), but very clean and well laid out/spacious. Good water pressure and temperature control. Hot water smelled slightly of burning, so maybe time to upgrade to boiler? Solid 3 star hotel experience.
Amanda T — Google review
Enjoyed our stay here at Ballys, hotel itself is ok but could use some improvement with answering guest needs, stayed here 3 days and needed towels and trash picked up, no one answers phones, so you have to go downstairs to front desk and still just hope and pray you get what you need. Lots of smoking inside hotel casino area so I stayed away from there, had my lil one so did not like that at all. location is great…we did have nice view and direct access to a beautiful beach, very walkable with food, drinks and several venues for shopping. Walked up and down the boardwalk very fun.
Mrs J — Google review
I usually never leave a review, however this was a very different trip. So many things went wrong. But the biggest problem I have is I stayed at Ballys the 19-22nd and on the very first night my car was broken into. The person stole 3 pairs of shoes totalling $1000, my NOCO Car jumpbox which was another $400 and my Beats studio3 headphones. Its not as important but they also stole my weed and papers (i dont really care about that). I realized in the morning and reported it straight to security. Their was no sense of urgency or care regarding it. It was like a shrug on the shoulders. Of course they will do their “report” and get back to me. I was pissed that morning because I knew that nobody cared except me because its my stuff. But I went on with my day and said it wont ruin the trip. Well I returned to the hotel and at 6:30pm me and my gf was in the car someone tried to yank as hard as they could on my door to get inside. couldnt see me inside because of my tinted windows and windshield). And when he realized he couldnt get in he moved on to the next car and the next one. Tugging on any door that would let him in. This is less than 24 hours from the original incident, so this time Im even more pissed as I went to security because its like wtff. And AGAIN no sense of urgency. And, Still they can’t do anything. Now Im usually easy going and tell myself its all materialistic as long as im safe thats all that matters so I tried talking to the staff about what could be done to make this right. Again this is the second time in less than 24 hours, I was told they wouldnt reimburse or offer anything complementary or anything, not that they couldnt but they wouldnt. At the very least not a complementary night, or complementary valet parking or nothing at all. I don’t know if its because Im a little younger, but they treated me as if it was all my fault with no hospitality and I am staying under their roof as a guest. Its been days since, and I havent heard any update or anything not even “the investigation came up short” or anything to even let me know they tried. Ive never felt so disappointed, angry, and unsafe while staying at a hotel. I WILL NEVER COME BACK TO BALLYS, AND WILL RECOMMEND EVERYONE TO STEER VERY CLEAR AWAY FROM BALLYS.

Rooms are dark and back to the 70's requested a wheelchair accessible room but you can't even turn around in wheelchair very small and not accessible! Then we went the restaurant on the 6th floor and they weren't accommodating at all for a wheelchair user and someone who is on a blended diet, after they tried to put us in a booth that wouldn't work for us they put us in the dining area that was closed and forgot about us I ordered a beer and a water and after a half hour still didn't get it, them someone else came over to take a drink order and have bread and didn't see that person again, so after about an hour of nothing and still waiting for a beer got up and left. Then we went to the food court area to at least get a sandwich, got a "homemade meatball sandwich" it was horrible and right out of a box and cold. Also the whole hotel casino area is very dark and no signs to let you know how to get to an elevator. Don't recommend to go to this place never again! Just horrible
Robert N — Google review
I had know idea that Bally's rooms could be so horrible. We were directed to Dennis Tower that should be called the Horror Towers. The room smelled so bad that I couldn't breathe. I changed my room and they made a closet out of a room that is how small the room was.. I would not invite my worst foe to stay at this hotel. Everything was very dirty. Never again.

The Quarter at Tropicana is a charming Old Havana-themed shopping center located in the heart of Atlantic City. It offers high-end shops, restaurants, and glitzy nightclubs, making it a must-visit destination for travelers. The Tropicana Casino, which has been standing since 1919 but was fully opened in 1981, is home to this vibrant quarter.
This place was awesome and it had a lot of really great restaurants in it. I wish they offered a little bit more for shopping... But For Food/ Atmosphere this place is a complete 5 and a great place for you to take your family to visit in Atlantic City. Definitely worth going in for nightlife... Three floors of really interesting shops and places to get awesome things. The restaurants are the true gem.

Our first visit to the Imax theatre inside The Quarter. Almost impossible to find. They give a boardwalk address and there’s nothing there. Via GPS for The Quarter we thought we would have to take our bicycles into the parking garage to get there. After asking directions three times, “See that little group of people…” (on Pacific Ave outside a stealthy storefront) we finally found it! 20 minutes late. They have Imax banners on the boardwalk to try to increase their very small audience. I suggest adding a What’s Showing sign with show times and a good link for where the heck the theatre is.

Located in Atlantic City, New Jersey, the Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall is a historic performance center that has been hosting various events since its opening in 1929. This iconic landmark was once the largest building in the world and is home to the world's largest pipe organ with over 33,000 pipes and 1000 keys. The venue hosts major concerts, sporting events, and shows including the Miss America Pageant.
Went to see Patti LaBelle, Chaka Khan, Stephanie Mills and Gladys Knight at boardwalk hall. Easy to find, parking wasn't a problem, entry and seating was no problem. We had a great time and would definitely go again

I don't think there is a bad seat in the house for listening to a concert. Unfortunately when others stood for songs it really made it difficult to see the stage from my seat near the right corner of the theater. Monitors helped but sometimes even the view of them were blocked. However if you have ever been to a large concert venue, this place is a great change. Not sure about parking since I stayed in Atlantic City and walked the boardwalk to & from motel. So much nicer than fighting traffic in large venues. Defitely looking forward to more shows.

Acoustics here were not good at all for opening act, Caylee Hammock, at Stevie Nicks concert, but that girl had a big voice! I definitely want to check her out otherwise! I just couldn't understand most of what she was singing! However, Stevie sounded phenomenal! Like most venues, seats were very cramped & you feel like you are encroaching on your neighbor. Extremely difficult to navigate around after concert, everyone bottlenecks out of main entry instead of using side exits to help clear facility. I only noted a single merchant table, which was ridiculously crammed with disorderly lines, and folks waiting in line took over an entire area by a food court that made navigating around difficult. Security /event services were a heavy presence, and police station is located on premises. Medical services rendered assistance to a concert goer that had sustained injury right at her chair and environmental services swiftly & efficiently cleared all biohazardous waste. I didn't eat or drink anything here, but they sell the usual alcoholic beverages folks get toasted on to enjoy their favorite band. I did not need to use the ladies' room, so I could not attest or review those factors, but lines for restrooms were significant both before and after the concert. It was easier to grab a bootleg t shirt from a vendor on boardwalk than grab legit merchandise inside the venue. Depending on who the artist is, I would probably buy tickets directly from this venue again. Seats just over 10,000 with a lot of standing during concert. I stayed at Ceasars and you could see the dome from my room. It was literally a 5 minute walk down the boardwalk and very convenient

Jersey is always has a pleasant breeze that just kisses your skin. It’s the sort of place that makes you want to kiss your lover on the hand. I had not been to Jersey for a while before crossing the bridge to see Lil. Wayne in concert, but it is always as nice as I remembered it. The staff at the venue were professional and efficient. You walk in, place your items on the conveyor belt, and move along. There wasn’t any sort of hold up because they got people in and through. Once we got our cocktails and waters, we chatted with a few people, and then were shown our seats. The show started on time, with Wayne coming out and receiving a standing ovation. It made him smile. The lighting was ok. Lots of dimmed red and silver lights with a smoky overcast. The sound system made up for the lightning. Incredible system. Show ended and the boardwalk was flooded. I’ll definitely be back!

Excellent venue for the Stevie Nicks concert last night! Staff were friendly and organized and the venue was clean and easy to get in and out. Awesome time seeing Stevie Nicks at Boardwalk Hall!
Michael K — Google review
Venue was nice. A little confusing navigating to our seats but the concert was great!! It would have been nice to have an exit row at the end instead of a gate so people don't have to keep moving everyone in the whole row to get out.

Nicely run venue right not too far from the Tropicana. Came here to see lil Wayne. Every seat in the house is a good seat at arenas like this one! They also have concession stands for food and drinks.

The Boardwalk Tram Service in Atlantic City is a convenient and affordable way for first-time visitors to explore the iconic Atlantic City Boardwalk. With a hop-on-hop-off service available at a reasonable rate, it's an ideal option for families with young children or older travelers. The tram service offers stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean as it travels from Ocean Casino Resort to Tropicana, making it an enjoyable and informative experience.
It's great but you need to more because it's hard to get one because they are full Need to ride later at night we went to a show that finished at 11 we had to drive and pay for parking
Leatrice H — Google review
We got on at 6:30, being told it ran until 10:00. At 9:30 we waited outside The Steel Pier. EVERY tram that went by said out of service. None of them would let us on. I'm not sure when 9:30 became 10:00 but perhaps your drivers should say last run is at 9:30 not 10. NOT ONE tram came by after 930 that was not out of service! We took the tram because we were unable to walk the distance. It took us an hour and a half with many stops to make it back.
Barb L — Google review
Its worth the day pass IF you plan on going from one end of boardwalk to other. Summer it can take waiting for 4,5,6 trams to go by before you can catch a ride. Wish they would start earlier like 9am. Drivers have always been very kind, some are better than others. Never had a bad one though.
R B — Google review
The concept is fantastic, and during the day, our group of four really enjoyed covering ground with the trams on our day pass. But toward the end of the day, we were disappointed. We saw eight trams heading south, yet none going north as we walked 1.3 miles from Boardwalk Hall to past Hard Rock before finally catching one. Thankfully, we were able to make the walk — but not everyone can. Paying $46 for a service we couldn’t depend on when we needed it most was frustrating. We truly hope to see more balanced tram coverage so everyone can enjoy the experience as intended.
Brown F — Google review
My experience with the tram service was extremely disappointing, particularly due to one rude and disrespectful driver. I had to use the tram three separate times and encountered the same individual each time. Beyond the trams being infrequent or consistently full, this driver's attitude was nasty every single time. On one occasion, he almost didn't stop to let us board; my husband had to stand practically in front of the vehicle to get his attention. This level of unprofessionalism and disregard for passengers made for a truly terrible service and experience.

Worst ever 3 people in my party walked from Tropicana to Caesars for dinner at Gordon Ramsay. Due to my handicap I decided to pay the ,$13 for all day rides. Worst decision ever. My party walked and is seated waited over 40 minutes and I don't even get on the trolley uet

THE TRAM SCAM. I bought 2 all day tix. I was told they run till 10. At 9 I couldn't get one back to the Hard Roc from Tropicana.. They were passing me with signs that said "Out of Service".
Bill D — Google review
We had a few good drivers who made the ride experience awesome. A lady driver was like a tour guide giving us info on the different businesses & historical info about places & eateries & events....wish all the drivers did this, but they need a microphone that is tapped into the speakers so everyone can here clearly no matter where you sit. A man driver was like a comedian but also gave us your guide info.....this was a fun ride. One man driver had the music blasting & another one had nasty music playing, neither of them cared about the customers.....it was all about them. We will still ride the tram when we are there but will just be more picky about which tram we get on.

The New Jersey Korean War Memorial, unveiled in 2000, pays tribute to the courage and sacrifice of New Jersey's soldiers during the Korean War. Situated at Brighton Park near the Boardwalk, it features a striking black granite wall with an eternal flame as a symbol of remembrance for those who perished or went missing. The memorial also includes bronze figures depicting poignant war scenes and a 12-foot tall Mourning Soldier statue holding fallen comrades' dog tags.
I loved visiting the New Jersey Korean War Memorial. It’s a deeply moving tribute, featuring stories of Congressional Medal of Honor recipients from New Jersey. These personal accounts of bravery and sacrifice are truly inspiring, reminding us of the courage displayed during the Korean War. The memorial itself is beautifully designed, with thoughtful details that honor the memory of the fallen and those who served. It’s a meaningful place for reflection and gratitude, and I highly recommend taking the time to visit. If you’re ever in the area, it’s well worth experiencing this important piece of history.
Praneet R — Google review
As many times I have walked on ATLANTIC CITY BOARDWALK I’ve never encountered this Memorial . As I’m getting older I’m craving the History and to find such a piece of history tucked away to the side is very exciting and knowledgeable. Freedom is not free Its beautifully inscribed on the wall with the names of fallen soldiers from the war. Faces of the Congressional Medal of Honor men on the wall. Very beautiful indeed!!!
Chrystal T — Google review
Public memorial to those who served and died during the Korean War with statue, relief, and polished black granite reflective name wall reminiscent of the DC Vietnam War Memorial. The most outstanding piece were the absolutely incredible stories of the Medal of Honor recipients- most of whom were posthumously awarded. “After receiving near fatal wounds, he grabbed the two grenades thrown into their trench, charged the two enemy soldiers and tackled them, killing the enemy and saving the lives of his fellow soldiers.” Jaw-droppingly heroic.
John A — Google review
This memorial in Atlantic City is breathtaking. It was a rainy evening when i visited. Appropriate. I spent time in Korea while a soldier, and the place left an indelible mark on my person. The rain in monsoon season, of course, but the people won my heart. The places, the food, the music. All of it. I adore Korea. My time there was not without its challenges, of course, as the northern government can make things interesting, but nothing ever diminshed the bond that I have with my Korean friends. The war hasn't ever ended there. An armistice, or cease fire, is in place. So, as are the memories and deep pain of those Americans that fought there alongside their ROK brothers in that war that started so many years ago, the conflict is still very real today. And for the people of Korea. "같이 갑시다"
Shelly — Google review
While strolling on AC boardwalk, I saw this. The Korean Conflict, 1950-1953, the nation's only undeclared war, claimed more than 36,000 American lives. Approximately 7,600 service personnel remain unaccounted for. It was created to ensure that future generations remember and honor the pride and dedication of those who served, the legacy they continued, and the freedom they preserved. Memorial featuring bronze figures of heroic proportions, representing the servicemen and women who fought in Korea. The most memorable is the 12-foot high "Mourning Soldier" who is clutching several dog tags and remembering his lost comrades. Also represented are a soldier and nurse helping a wounded soldier and two battlefield reliefs behind sheets of water cascading into reflecting pools. Beneath an eternal flame is a wall bearing the names of all New Jersey service members killed or missing in action, as well as a wall honoring the five New Jersey servicemen who were awarded the Medal of Honor for heroism in Korea.

Title: "A Profound and Poignant Tribute - The New Jersey Korean War Memorial" ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Last weekend, I had the chance to visit the New Jersey Korean War Memorial in Atlantic City, a powerful homage to the brave New Jerseyans who served in the Korean War. A testament to the sacrifices of 191,000 men and women, the memorial, majestically located at the intersection of Park Place and the Boardwalk, overwhelms you with solemn respect and reverence. The bronze figures, particularly the 12-foot "Mourning Soldier," are emotionally impactful. They stand tall, representing the heroism and valiance of the servicemen and women who fought in Korea. The soldier clutching dog tags, his eyes seeming lost in fallen comrades' memories, silently narrates stories of sacrifice and camaraderie, echoing the brutality of war and the human strength that withstands it. Flickering above a wall inscribed with the names of those killed or missing in action, the eternal flame feels almost like a heartbeat - a constant, gentle reminder of lives lost and heroes born. The additional wall honoring the five Medal of Honor recipients from New Jersey further instills a sense of awe and pride. Despite the extensive renovation in 2021, the addition of the Wall of Remembrance and improvements in accessibility have only enhanced the memorial's essence. The Wall of Remembrance, bearing the names of all New Jerseyans who served in the Korean War, ties together these courageous individuals' shared history and legacy. The preservation and maintenance efforts are commendable, ensuring the memorial stands strong as a beacon of respect and remembrance. The New Jersey Korean War Memorial is open daily and offers free entry, making this significant history accessible. This monumental tribute encapsulates the spirit of those who gave their all in fighting for freedom and democracy. It is a place where the past meets the present, ensuring that the sacrifices of many will never be forgotten. A visit here is a profound experience that gives you a deeper appreciation of the cost of the liberties we enjoy today. This memorial is a moving and dignified tribute deserving of a full five-star review. It stands not only as a symbol of past sacrifices but as an enduring reminder of courage and resilience - a place of reflection, respect, and remembrance.

Overall, the man being carried was very profound. The piece moves you, especially veterans. But the fountain isn't running and there's trash, and construction cones. The park was full of rifraf and the fountain wasn't maintained.

One of the coolest spots in Atlantic City, this iconic place is picture worthy and very attractive but most importantly it's a reflection point for us to reflect upon. To pay tribute to the heros of our dearest nation. I'm definitely back to the New Jersey Korean Memorial when next I visit Atlantic City for sure.

Island Waterpark is a family-friendly destination located on the North Beach end of the Atlantic City Boardwalk. It offers a variety of rides, games, and attractions for visitors of all ages. From classic Boardwalk treats like funnel cake to an observation wheel with stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean, there's something for everyone to enjoy. The waterpark features numerous water slides, a kids' cove, and a 3-foot pool, as well as lounge areas and party rooms.
Everything is awesome and fun. Lots to do for Both adults and children young and old. They have bars set up throughout even in the pool area. Several tube rides and slides. There's an arcade room a lazy river and much much more.
Toya ( — Google review
I thoroughly enjoyed myself! For the majority of this visit I stayed at the Bliss pool which is for 21 and over. It was very nice and relaxing in that area. I feel like they have a small choice of waterslides but they were still fun. There's also a giant arcade in the facility. The water was a little cool but not too bad. I got there at opening around 12:00. By the time I left at closing it was quite packed in the kids pools and things. But the adult side was just right with the amount of people. Food and drink prices are overpriced as to be expected.
Iman D — Google review
The place is clean and accessing the whole park is easy because it is relatively small. There are only a handful of waterslides and they are all very beginner slides. The lazy river is nice and they have a "boogie board" wave simulator. There is an adult section which is basically a bar in a pool. Enter at a later time to save money. This park could use more features or attractions for the cost, but it's worth checking out if you visit AC!

Took at 3hr drive from NY to visit this place… Parking: $30 onsite and $25 in a lot across the street. Atmosphere; very warm, very clean 👏🏾👏🏾 staff were polite, and most seemed like they actually love their jobs(no attitudes). Love the waterfall at the entrance 😍 the place was sorta empty when we got there around 12, but people started to come in after 2, and it still wasn’t too crowded. Plenty of seating areas and private cabanas, if you’re into that. They also have an adults only section for a little more $$$ Rides: maybe about six in total, and the lazy river. My boys enjoyed themselves, especially in the surf ride, they gave it 10/10. Food: worst part about this place, no flavor whatsoever(options and prices added in pics)…drinks could’ve been better, but weren’t as bad as the food. The food is on the pricey side, so I would suggest you eat before going, because outside food isn’t allowed inside, and they hand search your bags to make sure of it 😆 they do allow bottled water, so that’s a plus. Overall, it was a good experience, I would definitely take the boys back, just wouldn’t purchase their food.
Anna J — Google review
Park is great for kids, the best feature is the pool with bar for the parents to enjoy drinks just in the water... had a great time. But I'll say drinks are too pricey $35 for a mangonada with tequila... that's absurd!
AA — Google review
We were gifted free tickets (paid for by my employer) and the cost for the actual tickets are reasonable compared to other indoor waterparks. However, parking is $30 for the day, felt like a lot to park. Enter through the lobby and go straight under a surf board sign for Island Waterpark ticket admissions to exchange online tickets for wristbands. Then proceed to the waterpark. It wasn't overwhelmingly busy on a wknd in Sept. Found a table to put down our belongings and felt safe without paying for a locker. Longest line was 15 mins and most were 5 or less. Fastest lazy river ever. Lots of lifeguards supervising the pool but still watch your children. A few kids just ran up the stairs to the front of every line without a caregiver in sight. An adult only pool with a bar. Wish there was a hot tub. Family pool is small, no wave pool. Surf wave runner experience with a long line but fun to watch others. Food was overpriced. $9 for 1 slice of pizza or $30/whole pizza and you couldn't buy cheese pizza by the slice which was odd. Boardwalk fries weren't great. A Gatorade was $5/bottle. We opted to go to dinner afterwards. Slides were a lot of fun. Water was warmer but eventually chilly if you weren't submerged. Bathrooms were clean. Wish they had a bench or at least a towel/bag hook in the dressing rooms. Bathrooms/changing rooms were not accessible, felt for one family trying to navigate even getting in to the bathroom. While many waterparks are all families with young kids, there were couples without kids, adult friend groups, and a large range of ages and diverse backgrounds. While there are improvemts I would recommend, we had a safe, fun time.
Laura G — Google review
Expensive, but if you get there when it opens at 11 am, you can make the most of it. They do have a "twilight" discount that starts at 4 pm to make it more cost friendly. We went on a July Sunday, not crowded, got there around 12 pm and left about 4 pm. I suggest they reconsider their toddler pricing structure because there's only 3 things children with heights of 36" range to under 42" can do. When at 42", they can do a few more things. Many children 3 & 4 years old aren't 42" yet, and should not be charged a ticket (only under 3 years old get in free, and 3 years and up are same price as adult ticket, unless you're a senior citizen). Staff was friendly. The arcade has tons of stuff and they're in process of adding more.
Joann S — Google review
Came here for my nephew birthday last weekend and honestly wasn’t tooo bad, was a lil nervous from the reviews but my nephew, son and family enjoyed themselves. We definitely purchased our tickets on site cas iykyk 🤐 there’s parking on site both self and valet (which we used) there is a distance from the front desk and the entrance of Waterpark so be mindful especially if have small children, or elderly. No wait time and bag search is required before entry which no food, snacks are allowed (except water bottles), there’s a decent amount of lounge chairs and lockers for items, a few snack and bar stations throughout, not a lot of rides and definitely short staffed, 1 shower station and 2 dressing rooms which I can only imagine the wait time if place is really, reallly crowded. Overall my family had fun and would return I just couldn’t get over the 💩 smell that was near the kiddy pool to the far right!! Otherwise not bad for a fun day out with family.

Went here randomly while down in AC to see Seinfeld’s standup at the Borgata and am so happy we did. We loved all the different types of art and met one of the artists who was just amazing at explaining the different artists who were showcased and their works. We ended up spending a couple hours there and could’ve spent longer but they were closing. If you’re in the area and looking for something to do other then gambling whole in AC definitely stop by to this Stockton College run business. You can purchase many of their works as well!

Tropicana Casino, located on the Boardwalk in Atlantic City, offers a variety of appealing amenities including a Broadway-style theater and an IMAX cinema. The casino is complemented by a comedy club for entertainment. Additionally, the hotel's proximity to the beach and its wide range of food options make it a popular choice for visitors. While some guests have noted that the parking garage may need improvement, others appreciate its central location near shops and eateries on the boardwalk.
Great experience, except for the sports book. Every table was reserved on Sunday. Did not like that , my wife and I had to go to a different hotel to watch football in their sportsbook. Otherwise, great service, great food choices and great casino

Upgraded to a "newly renovated" room. The staff was friendly and helpful BUT that's where it ends. The room was very disappointing. The carpet was wet, the small refrigerator did not work, we brought our own toiletries - thank goodness. They did give us towels and a bar of soap. If this is what you call a premium room, I would beg to differ. Forget room service! I don't mind paying more for it, but a $10 added delivery fee is just a bit much. Overall, I have to say, this was one experience I will not repeat. Not happy!
Margaret A — Google review
I first stayed at the Tropicana years ago with my children, but this year I returned with my husband—and I don’t know why I ever stayed anywhere else! Tropicana truly has everything you could want in one place, making it the perfect Atlantic City getaway. The room was standard but comfortable, with a beautiful ocean view. The bed was cozy, though I did notice a couple of hairs in the bathtub, which wasn’t great. Housekeeping could have done better, but overall the room served its purpose. The real highlight of Tropicana is the endless variety of shops, restaurants, and entertainment. From Starbucks to unique underground stores, there’s plenty of shopping without ever leaving the hotel. They also have multiple restaurants—including Hooters, my personal favorite—and even nightclubs if you’re looking for nightlife. You can literally spend your entire trip here without stepping outside. The casino wasn’t my best experience—the first slot machine I tried was faulty and customer service wasn’t very helpful. I took it as a sign not to gamble (which I usually don’t anyway). That didn’t take away from the overall trip, though, since there’s so much more to enjoy. While I didn’t use the pool this time, it looked beautiful and inviting. Between the restaurants, shops, nightlife, and ocean views, Tropicana makes it easy to relax, have fun, and create memories. Overall, aside from a few small issues, I had a great stay and would definitely come back again. Tropicana gives you the full Atlantic City experience under one roof!

Room was a little run down and a lot of noise from other guests and housekeeping yelling and slamming doors. The smell of cigarette smoking some how infiltrated my room. The bathroom was nice. Some of the pillows were really nice and firm and not like the ordinary squishy ones at most hotels. The gym access shuts down at 9PM, that was disappointing. Lots of shopping and dining options. I played slots and never received my drink. I was waiting for it to be delivered but had cashed out while waiting and you learn as you go. The staff was decent.
J L — Google review
My first time ever staying at the Tropicana, and it started off on a bad foot. Though the room was tidy, some air freshener would've helped. After checking into my room, I had to kill a roach in the bathroom. I called the front desk, who then transferred me to a department that didn't pick up. Staying in the Havana tower, the desk over there isn't manned most of the time, and you have to go all the way to the South tower to address any issues. When I was finally able to, the clerk was apologetic and accommodating. She switched my room to an ocean view, and gave me a $50 credit towards any restaurant in the hotel. Aside from that, it's in a great location, with things to do without really leaving the hotel. Considering what happened, I'm still open for another stay in the future.

Our stay was comfortable. This was my second stay at this hotel. The best part is its location which is right next to the beach and broad walk. Some part of the room was not wiped or cleaned. I can see the dust. The food we had was also good which is sometimes hard at a casino hotel. The self parking was easy and convenient. We got $5 voucher too.

I had mixed feelings about this place. The suite we had was very nice. Location is great since it's right on the boardwalk. There's plenty to do in and around the hotel. We were really annoyed that they had the 5th floor button in the elevator showing as the Pool. When we got there, we were told it was closed. They should've put up a sign or not show the pool option. There was a shortage of soap and they only had 1 remote for the 3 tvs we had. We had a hard time reaching room service as well. Overall, I would still recommend this place. But not set high expectations

My family of 3 is staying here as part of a group while attending a SportzFarm football tournament 3/27-3/30. Took about 1 hour to check in, the line was extremely long. No online checkout available. Although we booked a stay for 4 days, and participated in all activities (water park, race track and arcade) hotel still charges a $25 fee per day for parking. Warning: if you do not pay you will wake up to a $60 fee. Our hotel room had 1 working outlet, an extension cord was provided. (Which is a fire hazard!) Two towels were provided. (FYI No towels are provided at the waterpark.) The carpet was gross!! The elevators rattle and shake. The hotel is very outdated overall. Rooms are cleaned after a 3 day stay. Hotel offers waterpark, race track, arcade, miniature golfing and skating. It is child oriented. Having only two restaurants did not provide enough food choice, my family had to step out for all meals. There are several vending machines throughout with chips and drinks BUT they are overpriced and unfortunately did not even work! No pool or laundry available I do not recommend staying here, stay at a better hotel and just come here for the activities.

The worst! I would never stay here again. Check in took over an hour because there were only 2 people working. Our room was filthy. Stains all over rugs, bathroom wasn’t cleaned, no soap, not even a new roll of toilet paper. Pillows on the bed were small couch pillows with a pillow case thrown on. Don’t bother trying to call front desk or house keeping because no one will answer. If your for the park plan to stand in like for hours to even get in.

Great spot for sunrise & sunset pics.

The Atlantic City Boardwalk is a historic and iconic oceanfront promenade that has been a popular destination since 1870. It offers stunning views of the ocean and is lined with a diverse selection of shops and restaurants. Visitors can enjoy leisurely strolls, shopping, dining, and soaking in the coastal atmosphere. Additionally, there are various accommodations available near the boardwalk, ranging from cozy cottages to hotels with balconies offering a coastal-inspired ambiance.
We had a family vacation, 10 of us. It was our first time here ever. We didn't have a hard time getting into restaurants and not a noticeable wait. Family members were vegan, so our eating choices were scaled down. But the restaurants we chose were great. The water was scary. Riptides every where. Swimming was not a beach option. The lifeguards were very attentive. We swam at our inside pool resort. The boardwalk was not greatly crowded and very clean and well policed. It was a very nice experience.

The Atlantic City Boardwalk is a classic slice of American seaside culture. Stretching for miles along the beautiful Atlantic Ocean, it’s the perfect blend of nostalgia and energy. Whether you’re here for the casinos, live entertainment, shopping, or just a peaceful oceanfront stroll, the boardwalk has something for everyone. The views are stunning—especially at sunrise or sunset—and the salty ocean breeze makes every walk feel refreshing. You’ll find plenty of places to grab delicious food, from classic boardwalk fries and funnel cakes to upscale dining. Street performers, souvenir shops, arcades, and the iconic rolling chairs add to the charm. It’s both family-friendly and lively enough for a night out. If you’re visiting Atlantic City, the boardwalk is an absolute must—equal parts history, fun, and relaxation by the sea.

Suitable for all age groups.. They said it’s Las Vegas of Eastern. Slightly yes.. Had a pleasant time here on Saturday evening with a variety of options to explore. Vibrant Casinos, delicious food, pleasant and wide beach, shopping, board walk, amusement park, memorial park etc. Transport service from one end to the other at affordable prices. Street parking is a bit difficult to get but if you get it’s affordable. We can extend our bookings as per the requirement. Definitely a great place to take your kids, teens, friends and your parents.

This is a wonderful spot for watching the sunrise. Walking along the boardwalk, where you can take in the ocean view, the shops, and the backdrop of the casino buildings, can also be a great experience.

Great for a family getaway or romantic date. You can stay several nights or just for a day trip. There are plenty of restaurants and food. There's a water park, arcade with a race track for kids, and plenty of entertainment for adults. You can enter any casino to play in or the beach. Definitely a must do in the summer

We visited the boardwalk, Ceasars Hotel and Hard Rock Hotel- were we had deliciousice-cream. It's to your advantage to go during the week because the beach is nice and quiet and so is the boardwalk. By 6pm, people start coming out to the boardwalk for drinks, shop and walk ,avoiding the sun. At Ceasars we went to the shops and found quite a few items at unbelievable prizes. Excellent quality. Save money doing some Christmas shopping, even my grandson bought a few items. Pictures below. This is the time to check the boutiques for good bargains. The Hotel is beautiful and quiet. At nice is cool and romantic.

We had a great family trip to the Atlantic City Boardwalk! The atmosphere was lively and fun, with plenty of shops, restaurants, and entertainment options. The beach was beautiful and perfect for relaxing, although the waves were a bit rough, so swimming was a bit challenging. Overall, a fun and memorable experience for the whole family!

The boardwalk itself is excellent. One side there are beaches and the other side shops. There is also transport on the boardwalk with $5 per a ride or $13 for multiple rides. The only downside - air was filled with weed smell everywhere.

Bass Pro Shops is a well-known chain with large, wilderness-themed stores offering a wide array of hunting, fishing, and outdoor gear. One of its attractions is a massive 13,000-gallon tank filled with local fish native to the Atlantic City region. The store also features murals depicting wildlife and natural scenes from the area.
This place is amazing for my first fishing pole here! Place is huge and beautiful. Very clean. Had to visit twice to get a good view of the store. Cant wait for the closer store in my area of nj. Would come every visit. Staff was very nice and informational. Lady at sunglasses was very charming. Had a great visit. Everything is beautiful. Even the details of the crosswalk with fish outlined.

Well run and organized. If you’re looking for the kind of items that are sold at a Bass Pro Shop, you’ll be happy here. Parking is easy and they validate for you at checkout. Parking is free for an hour with purchase or 4 hours with a $30 purchase. Conveniently located near the outlets in AC. The waterfall and fish tank are great for kids.

If you like fishing and boating like i doi, this is the place to go. Honestly, the prices are pretty good. Plus if you buy $30 worth of stuff u park free for 4 hours - just enough time to lose $ at Caesars next door...of course they have the big fish tank....nice to see

It's a really cool store if you're an outdoorsman. There's a ton of fishing gear. I felt the hunting apparel was a little slim pickings but the store is still pretty cool especially gor a dad on father's day.

Wow!!! Crazy large retail store in the middle of AC, New Jersey... Went with a friend to buy a shotgun, staff There is very knowledgeable and helped us out a great deal, he went through the whole process and then he couldn't get into the background check for some unknown reason, it all worked out, Shout Outs to Joe, Allie and Vinnie in the firearm's department, very helpful , also Sharmain@ "the club" was super helpful and Pleasant

The first time I stepped into Bass Pro Shops was in Florida, it reminded me of another similar store I visited in another State - Cabela's. The layout of all goods it carries... hmmm... Anyway, it's another heaven for outdoor activity enthusiasts. It covers almost every category of outdoors activities... I can't think NJ has this kind of Outdoors goods hypermart... Wow is the word for the NJ Outdoors enthusiasts paradise!! It's located in the south part of New Jersey.... Wonderful!

This Bass Pro Shop location is about 40 minutes from us but we never mind making the drive even if it's just to pick up one item. The parking is free as long as you have a valid receipt from a purchase made there that day. We love the wide selection of everything from clothing, camping gear, fishing rods, hunting rifles and so much more. They even have a small selection of off road vehicles and boats. My kids like what the childrens department offers and I like the shoe section where my husband and I can get Hey Dudes. We have also made it our tradition to come see Santa here and love the North Pole set up they make. Of course, the large tank filled with local fish is always a focus of our visit. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable and the lines for making purchases always move swiftly because of how many cashiers they employee.

Always a fun adventure to visit this store! We come here for my daughter whom enjoys the selection of stuffed animals. But we all enjoy perusing the store and looking at all the different things! The fish tank is cool to see too and sometimes they have postings to watch them feed !

IT'SUGAR Atlantic City is a vibrant candy store located on the Boardwalk across from Caesars Palace. It offers an extensive selection of classic and oversized candies, as well as apparel, accessories, and novelty gifts. Visitors can indulge in a wide variety of candies, including unique and imaginative options. The 'Make Your Own Mix' section allows customers to create their own personalized blend of candies by choosing from a diverse range and paying by weight.
Went here while on vacation! Candy in the picture was $53 my girlfriend and I each got one. It’s awesome because you can pick whatever you want and blend however you like. They have an abundance of options. They also have some retro candy and the viral candy which is nice! They have something for every audience. Wasn’t too crowded, service was good, in and out fast and back out on the boardwalk quickly!

There are so MANY different things to choose from, what an amazing collection. However, most of the stuff is ridiculously overpriced. Now, there are some rare things here that might be worth getting because it's hard to find anywhere else. So I got some steak flavored chips 👍

We came here for a dessert date and quite enjoyed it. Our waitress was nice, though it took a while to get our desserts. The banana foster crepe was nice, not too sweet and the vanilla custard inside was light. The milkshake was crazy big and exactly what it was branded as. The drinks were strong and tasted good. I enjoyed the desserts I had here and I’d like to come back to try more of their menu.

They have more candy than you can ever ask for. It's a kid's dream. Even an adult can find a candy from their childhood or something that they would really enjoy. I feel like the "Make Your Own Mix" section where you can choose a variety of different candy and pay by weight was a great option. As of April 2023, the prices are $4.24 for 1/4 pound, $8.48 for 1/2 pound, and $16.96 for one pound. ~$17 for a pound of candy might sound crazy, but you probably shouldn't be eating a pound of candy anyways unless you're sharing and if that's the case, then it's not so bad. Plus, a benefit of choosing your own candy is you get to take exactly what you want and how much you want which is a sure win for me and others who just want to try a bit of a few different candies and not just get bags of one particular candy that you might get sick of after a few days. I would recommend this place to anyone.
Jonathan S — Google review
They have all of the old flavors and a huge selection of candies. You are going to pay a pretty penny but maybe you can use some of your winnings from the casino to finance this candy.

It's an escape room center with four different rooms, each with its own challenges. Recommended for kids 13 and older, it's a fun way to spend an hour together.
Me and my friends visited AC escape and did the boardwalk experience. I can’t tell you how amazingly immersive it was. This was truly an escape room like NO OTHER! The sound effects and lighting changes really added the perfect extra layer to the escape room. All of the puzzles were the perfect amount of challenge, and it brought us closer together. We escaped with a little bit of time left and we were so excited, we jumped for joy for the rest of the night, and had an amazing dinner at carmines. We will certainly be back so very soon to do every single room. Thank you to the amazing staff at AC Escape!
Gabriella P — Google review
We did Escape AC for my daughter's 12th birthday. We had 12 girls and they had a blast. The ages varied from 9-13 and they were able to solve almost all puzzles. They literally needed like 2 more minutes to escape to solve the last one. They did the Boardwalk room, it was challenging but very well thought through and not too difficult. If you ever get stuck the game master will point you to the right direction. The girls could not wait to go back and do another one. Definitely recommend
Tatiana V — Google review
We had an excellent time with Escape AC - Escape Rooms! Big shout out to our game master Zach! My wife and I have done over 100 escape experiences, and these were some really fun rooms! We were there at the beginning of August, and we started out with Casino Cage. This room is designed for a group that will start split up into different areas and work together to rejoin each other and then finish the room together. Since it was just the two of us, we had a slightly modified experience where we both got to be in the same area and Zach gave us the info the other team would have. The room was well done with interesting and fun puzzles and good theming. We immediately wanted to do another, and Zach recommended the Poker Room for the two of us. This room was trickier for just 2 people with a LOT of puzzles to solve, and we managed to just squeak our way out. We left, grabbed some friends, and came back in the evening to run The Boardwalk as well! This room definitely needed more than just 2 people, as there were some physical puzzles and coordinated activities that would've eaten up too much time if we didn't have other people to work on other parts at the same time. Even with Zach's expert help, we didn't quite make it out of The Boardwalk, but that misinterpretation was really on us fixating on a solution rather than looking at everything. Overall, a lot of fun, great puzzles and good cluing, and things were well themed. If you're in Atlantic City, definitely check out Escape AC - Escape Rooms over the other options in town!

Central Pier Arcade & Speedway in Atlantic City is a fun stop for families and anyone looking for a quick thrill outside of the casinos. The go-karts are lively and exciting, giving you the rush of racing around the track, while the arcade adds a playful, nostalgic vibe. A single ride costs $18, and if you’re bringing a child, kids can ride along with a parent for $25—a nice option for families. Although the rides are short and a bit pricey, the overall experience is entertaining and adds something different to an Atlantic City trip, especially if you’re visiting with kids or just want to mix in some lighthearted fun by the boardwalk.

Bought this experience as a birthday present for my boyfriend, and he and I had an absolute blast! The driver of the boat was able to read the personalities and energies of each of the participants, and made sure that he dunked the people in the ocean who really wanted to be dunked lol. There was great music on the boat and the energy was awesome. Highly highly recommend!

Had an amazing time. I get very sick with motion, including kiddie rides. Even with nervous apprehension knowing I would get I'll, the guys on the boat did a great job in sending us up into the sky and movements of the parachute during our session, it was much appreciated. I did not get sick, had an absolute blast, and would do it again in a heartbeat. As you can see by my reaction in one of the photos the initial thrust of being propelled into the sky tickle the stomach a bit but that was the only moment throughout the entire process. Lol

A must TODO thing while you are in AC. Staff is great and very friendly. We were running late by a few minutes and they called us to confirm we are on our way and held the boat for us. Thanks to our 2 fellow parties for being patient as well. Very good view of AC from the sail, we felt safe all the time. Wearing glasses is fine just don't wear a hat on the sail, you will lose it. Check-in takes place in a yellow shed. We parked next to the aquarium. From there, just walk next to the water on the path in about 100 meters. Parking is free.

The facility includes a pro shop and clean locker rooms and bathrooms.
Had our 2 daughters birthday party today at the rink! There was a little bit of a hiccup which Greg worked through and accommodated us so much! Everyone had a smile on their face and loved the party! Thank you so much Greg—we appreciate everything you did for our party!

It was $24 for me and my sister and it was SO worth it, but the schedule timing is crazy. Who is going ice skating at 12:30pm on a Tuesday in March? Or like 9am on a Friday in April? And get this, most of time, it's inaccurate. And on top of ALL of that, the vending machines do not work. On the bright side, they do have skating aids which are really helpful for people who don't know how to skate or ar too scared to. Other than the timing, I do recommend going to the ice rink.

Great place to kill a few hours doing something you can't do many places anymore. Seriously, ice rinks are few and far between these days. It's a little pricey but parking is free & ample and open skate isn't busy so you can almost have the ice to yourself. It was $34 for me and my kid and that included skates. It was her first time and they offered a walker to help. She had a blast.

I barely write bad reviews but. Their schedule online is WRONG. They never answer the phone. We traveled 30mins. we get inside to try and skate on my daughter’s birthday. The outside of the casino and self parking look a little shady but once you go inside to check in is ok. Check in process was fast and our room was very clean. I normally stay at Oceans but can’t lie the room was Nice. Didn’t even have to use my own Lysol like other places lol. To be honest food is pricey for basics. Casino floor was quite, oddly didn’t see much gambling compared to Oceans, Ceasers, etc. Wasn’t too much to do for a family with kids so respectfully might be our last time coming. No restaurants in the area or walkable stores, located far from Boardwalk but you can also catch the Jitney van. Hope my review helps, overall a good stay!

We originally booked the coastal room but got a free upgrade for my wife's birthday. Hotel room is nice and big. Wife and I loved the mattress and food options. Very nice design. What we didn't like was the noises. There's pretty much no sound insulation so we heard people talking all around and every single toilet flush from left, right and above our room. Everything else is what you'd expect at a casino. Smokey, pensioners gambling away their retirement staying at the same machine for hours. The usual overall it's decent.

I went there to play with my little cousin the employees are very rude. I got something from redemption and it was broken when I opened it and they tried to refuse to give me a new one even though I spent around $50 and then had 447 tickets and they wouldn’t give me my tickets or a new one until we had to get nasty. Otherwise fun but extremely overpriced.

Convention center
Conference & Convention Centers
The Atlantic City Convention Center is a premier venue for hosting various events, offering over 500,000 square feet of open space and five exhibit halls. Adjacent to the Sheraton Hotel, it provides convenience and ample accommodation options. The center's calendar should be checked before planning a visit to Atlantic City. Additionally, nearby accommodations such as Econo Lodge Beach And Boardwalk offer convenient access to the convention center and other attractions in the area.
I had a fantastic experience at the Atlantic City Convention Center! The venue is spacious, well-maintained, and easily accessible, making it a perfect spot for events of all sizes. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, ensuring that everything ran smoothly from start to finish. The variety of facilities available, including meeting rooms and exhibition halls, is impressive. Additionally, the location is convenient, with plenty of nearby dining and entertainment options. I highly recommend this venue for anyone looking to host or attend events in a vibrant setting!
Mike R — Google review
As a vendor, freight elevator access should be easier, and vendor parking should be closer (or at least have a loading zone with an attendant). It'll be great for the venue to offer parking incentives for vendors as well since $20/car add up quickly. Overall the space is well lit and offer a variety of amenities. The rest is the responsibility of the organizer.

We had an awesome time working at the Atlantic City Convention Center! Our team at Magical Memories Entertainment brought out our 360 photo booth and the whole setup went super smooth. The space is huge and really well laid out, so it gave us plenty of room to create a great experience for guests without feeling cramped or rushed. The staff was seriously top notch: super helpful, on point, and really easy to work with. From loading in to setup and everything in between, they were right there making sure we had what we needed. That kind of support really helps us focus on giving people the best experience possible. The energy in the venue was great; tons of foot traffic, good lighting, and the overall vibe just made it easy for folks to jump in and have fun with the booth. It was the perfect spot for our kind of interactive activation. Big thanks to the crew at the Atlantic City Convention Center for helping make the event such a success. We’d definitely recommend this venue to anyone looking to host a big, high-energy event. Excited to come back soon!

Convention Center is easy to get to with plenty of parking. Very clean with friendly staff. A good amount of restaurant and shopping choices in the immediate area. Guest Wi-Fi was very intermittent and unreliable during both days of my visit.

Place is very big. Went to NJPN conference, june 13 2025.....there was also another event going on, Kameha con......several people dressed up as animated characters......very weird
Robert C — Google review
Decently sized Convention Center wish more cons happened here. Very convenient because the train station is attached to it which is New Jersey Transit.
Vincent M — Google review
Parking arrangement is absolutely outrageous. There's a security guard someplace. Limited curb ramps so the roller luggage has to be lifted at every curb or find a curb ramp. This is not a baby crying. This is my back is hurting and at this time can not lift the bag on and off the curb without pain, that's why there are ramps! Next the doors into the building does not have assist built in and the doors are heavy, again my back is a problem. At night the lighting is low and you have to really look to see the security guard sitting behind the desk. This convention center is connected to the NJ Transit metro and the homeless are always there without security making their rounds. To be fair I was only there to park for stays (6 and counting) recently. But I have attended a couple conventions in the past and nothing jumps out as anything special. See photos. Respectfully
Richard D — Google review
Conveniently situated by the highway and train station with plenty of nearby parking and food options. I have attended fencing tournaments all over the world, and this is one of the best setups I have ever seen.

Casino
Tropicana Atlantic City is a Cuban-inspired property located on the Boardwalk. It features a casino, an indoor shopping atrium, theaters, and various dining options. The hotel offers 2,047 rooms and suites along with a 200,000 square-foot entertainment complex. Guests can enjoy two pools, an IMAX Theater, comedy club, and a spa without having to leave the resort.
We stayed in a premium suite with an excellent window view of the ocean. The downside was upon entering the room it had a smell of like wet carpet in a nonsmoking room whereas my daughters room was a jr suite upon entering her room it actually smelled very fresh for a smoking room. Smelled better than ours. We are use to housekeeping automatically cleaning and refreshing towels coffee etc daily. I had to call 1st morning as we had no wash clothes in bathroom we took showers using hand towels for wash clothes 👎. We only had 1 and a half rolls of toilet paper. We learned when we called for wash clothes that they don't refresh nothing unless you request it yet I'm pretty sure we were charged a fee for it. Our daughter's room was again a jr suite in smoking. She had wash clothes a full length mirror and a huge shower with full bench. She too had an ocean view but not quite as nice as our premium room. The premium room was spacious with 2 tv's one facing the king bed which was behind a wall hidden from a living room type area. It also had a large table which was nice for 4 of us to play cards. It only had 2 chairs but we utilized the desk chair and a living room chair so it worked out. For a premium suite size was right but decor was basic, as for the bed best part was the pillows, bed was kinda hard. Didn't have a luxury vibe.

The conceirge desk for checking in was not what I expected. Betsey the Service Manager is a disgrace. While checking in she told the whole area how much my bill was. Then she accused me of freezing their financial system as I was trying to pay. I was livid because how is that my fault. I was also told that I had to pay a deposit fee. I am a rewards card member so I am entitled to things other patrons are not entitled to. They asked if i want to upgrade but can't check in early. Was lied to twice saying that to check in you have to pay a fee of $15 then $17. So which is it????? Then they tried giving me a room that I did not register for and it was almost like pulling teeth out of a lions mouth dealing with these folks. Then they tried making my stay unbearable so that I would leave. The ac was on. Tom Quinn the Maintenance Supervisor was suppose to put in a request to have this corrected but he did not so I waited an hour not knowing no request was put in. I had to wait an additional hour. Then someone altered my television from analog to digital the 1st night. The water was being tampered with as well from cold to hot to hot. Did all this so I would leave. I stayed because no one gets to treat me this way and think they will get away with this. I am sure this not their 1st time doing this that Mr. Quinn said I was complaining about being cold. I heard him in the hallway. He felt very comfortable with doing this. My 1st vacation stay here and this is how guest are treated like DAY OLD TRASH and won't be my last. During which time I was COMPLAINING ABOUT BEING COLD. They finally brought me a blanket and claimed something was backed up. Liars. I was very sick for a whole day and still trying to recover. The racism is THICK HERE and you can smell the stinch through funky stank smoke air. According to Jasmin, i was told if i go to another room it is an upgrade, which i is not. As you can see these trifling folks is in the business of lying. Just know i will be returning.

We stayed in a premium room in the Havana Tower and had a pleasant stay. The bed was comfortable, room clean and quiet, and the views were incredible. We like the location of the Havana tower for being close to parking and all the shops/restaurants in the Quarter. Not too far from the Casino, however, it is a bit of a schlep to get down to the boardwalk or the pool. The Tropicana has tons of dining and shopping options and lots of slot machines to choose from. Ventilation in the casino could be better and it can definitely get crowded. The pools are quite small, however, the ocean is right there. We enjoyed our short trip to Tropicana and would definitely stay in the Havana Tower again.
DWF — Google review
We stayed at the Tropicana on 10/3 for a concert. I was NEVER recommend this hotel to anyone. We stayed in the Chelsea tower. Our room was outdated. It looked like it was from the 80s with dirt under the tables in the room from the 80s dirt in the vents. And AC barely worked. Not to mention an insect problem. I was bite by something while sleeping in my bed in the night. I will attach a photo taken in the hotel room of the bite when I woken up to my arm burning with the bite at 4:30 in the morning.
Seanna W — Google review
Tropicana is a great casino still thriving in Atlantic City. No it’s not the “newest” “nicest” hotel however it’s got a lot of stuff to do within the resort and located right on the boardwalk for a great price. I also walked around every casino during my week trip in the height of tourist season and Tropicana by far had the most people inside the casino gambling. I don’t even know how some of the other casinos are still alive because nothing was quite like Tropicana. My room was updated and clean. However if you don’t like cigarette smoke, don’t come here. Although other casinos allow smoking I didn’t smell it much inside them, which could just be from a general lack of people at other casinos but just know smoking is allowed and very prevalent. I had a non smoking room and didn’t smell any smoke in my room. I also didn’t smell any weed to my surprise anywhere in the hotel. My only complaint and I don’t know how this hasn’t been addressed yet is the lack of signage helping people find their towers. It’s probably the most confusing resort because of its size and lack of signage I have ever been too. Once I figured it out it was fine but it was extremely difficult to find North tower and you don’t see one sign for a half mile into the resort for it if you check in by Havana. You also need more signs pointing to elevators on room floors. Either way I’ll be back again soon!
Adam K — Google review
No daily cleaning unless you request it. Parking lot is filthy. Room tv channels limited. Bathroom was okay and bed was okay. Checking in took too long. Ask for upgrade to the Havana tower if you go. Guests cannot check out on machine before 9am. So be prepared!
Wilkin S — Google review
We stayed in the South Tower. The room was recently renovated and very clean! The casino had a lot to offer and, since my husband and I were away for my birthday, we didn’t want to be around a lot of kids, so the distance from the boardwalk amusements and other casinos made it great for that. The adult only pool helped, too. We would definitely stay there again.
Jacqueline B — Google review
Have stayed at the trop a few times. They sometimes do a bad job of handling late night noise complaints. Weve run into this issue enough times where we wont stay here anymore. As in drunk idiots partying in their rooms at 2AM, and security does nothing about it after being contacted. The casino is nice with plenty of gaming, and a mall to walk through. They also have a nice variety of food options from quick and affordable to higher end choices. We stop into the Trop each time we pass through AC, but is not a choice for staying on the boardwalk. Better to choose Ocean or even just the Claridge. Off season (winter) is probably passable since the place is dead at that time.

My child loved the touch a shark area. The turtle, crab and lobster were great to see. They had a nice variety for only the first floor having sea creatures yet. We tried the photo booth, which was cute and fun. Behind the aquarium it is nice to see the area with the boats. We spent a good 40 mins total and it was a nice stop for the kids.
Suzanne L — Google review
This is nice looking forward to when it is completely open. Right now it's only part open just one floor. I really enjoyed watching my little cuz enjoy it
Ginger J — Google review
The place has so much potential, but honestly, they have the whole 2nd floor empty and not much happening downstairs. We drove 30 min to get there and see like 10 species (including crabs and jellyfishes). Not worth the trip or the $6 they charge.
Luca S — Google review
Anita W — Google review
Very quaint aquarium, 1st floor only at this time. Small but beautiful displays. Mostly species of local fish, turtles, seahorses, crabs ,jellyfish, horseshoe crabs etc. Nice for smaller humans and escorts.
