White House Subs, a long-standing chain, is a must-visit spot in Atlantic City for its iconic stacked subs. Established in 1946, this casual eatery on Arctic Avenue has gained worldwide fame for its mouthwatering hoagies. The signature sub, packed with Italian meats and provolone, is a crowd favorite.
If you go to Atlantic City and do not stop here for a cheese steak or a hoagie, well…you’re just insane. Take my advice and all the other reviewers advice and go. Wait in line - because there will be one - and order one of everything. Just kidding, order your fave and savor the history of the world’s most perfect sandwich. Bread is fresh, stuffed nicely and accompanied with peppers. Service is excellent.

When you walk into this place it’s like stepping back in time. The atmosphere is perfect. Guys at their stations making sandwiches to perfection. The cheesesteak had an amazing taste. The relish added a nice touch. The turkey sandwich was more than you can eat and was equally delicious. This is a must stop place if you are hungry in the area.
John B — Google review
Great 1960s Mom and Pops feel with new energy. Nostalgic memorabilia to enjoy with pictures of entertainers, artists, politicians and other public figures from several eras which are very charming. I felt great being there.
Gino N — Google review
Got the half-size Italian sub. Held off on the hot peppers. Bread was good. Cold cuts and cheese was an ample portion. Maybe next time I will try the special to Amp up the amount of meat. Service was good. Ate at one of booths. Most folks were getting orders to go. Waitress service if you sit in a booth. Otherwise order at the counter towards the back.
Kurt W — Google review
I was looking for local spots here in AC, something with old world charm for lunch and I stumbled on the absolute largest and best sub I’ve had in forever. They are not kidding about the size of the whole thing, and the waitress even warned me. This is a great location if you’re with your buddies searching for some delicious affordable food, and the best thing about it is I won’t have to eat for 2 days! Will be back!

Heartbroken. Every summer,as long as i could remember, I enjoyed White House Subs. Never minded waiting in line to eat in. You could smell the onions wafting through the air. Didn't mind having to navigate past waiting crowds to pick up take-out. I knew my reward was waiting. I raised two sons who enjoyed the same. I moved to Florida several years ago and nothing could compare. I am here for a visit. We placed a large order for a party. As I unwrapped each one they just didn't look the same. Where was that reverse stuffing that kept the lettuce, tomato and onion from falling out and kept the roll from getting soggy? The lettuce was on the roll, limp and made the roll soggy. Obviously not the consistant, artistic pride executed by every sandwich maker no matter how busy they were. It's true...." nothing stays the same"
Andrea R — Google review
I ordered the chicken cheesteak, very tasty and juicy, tender and love those peppers that come in the tiny cup. The people that work there are very nice friendly/ pleasant. Clean environment.
Rebecca P — Google review
I originally walked in to get a soda but when I saw those subs I had to get one. And then I sent my friends to get one when after they saw mines. And then I went back to get another one. And now I can't stop thinking about getting another one. Love This Place

Mexican restaurant
Pancho's Mexican Taqueria is a humble yet noteworthy stop for classic Mexican dishes, particularly their housemade tortilla tacos. Despite being located next to the popular White House Subs, this spot stands out with its tender beef tacos and cozy atmosphere. The restaurant gained attention after receiving praise from chef David Chang in Lucky Peach magazine, drawing in locals and tourists alike.
Let us start by saying that if you are looking for a fancy restaurant this is not the place However the food is extremely tasteful and they cook it right in front of you, They even make the Tortillas on the spot as you order reason why you have to know that waiting is part of the experience We ordered Sopes al Pastor & tacos de Carnitas needless to say that we LOVED them paired with 2 super cold Victoria Mexican Beer. They also have Huataches, Fajitas, Burritos, Quesadillas and more to choose from. The ladies who cooked our food are from Oaxaca and they were very Friendly Definitely recommended For more tips on trips, food and Bars follow us on our Social Media and YouTube as AVENTURASCONLOSPAIZ

The food was definitely authentic and a "hole-in-a-wall" vibe. Don't expect a red carpet with customer service or food prep time. The ladies handling the food do not use gloves and this is concerning.
Gerry P — Google review
Awesome authentic Mexican cuisine! I’ve been to White House a bunch of times as a kid and as an adult and just recently stopped into Panchos. Small cozy spot with a bar to sit at, they have a good selection of Mexican lagers with Modelo, Corona, and Pacifico. Food was excellent, I tried a steak burrito and chips and salsa.
Joe M — Google review
This is a hidden gem! It’s about a block from the Puma store, between a row of shops, one can miss this easily! It’s popular so you might have to wait a minute for a table. The food comes out quick and hot! My friend got steak tacos and I got mole enchiladas! Both tasted great and were hot temp wise! The staff was friendly and the place is clean. The only reason I gave them 4/5 stars is because they charge for chips and salsa!
Samuel H — Google review
Exquisito translates to exquisite which doesn’t really make sense, but everything at Pancho’s is exquisito. I had the double chicken tacos and others in my group tried the steak. Every plate delivered. Authentic, reasonably priced, and genuinely delicious. A must-stop when you’re in AC.
Wilfredo F — Google review
Excellent food and generous portions. They are consistently busy with takeout, so be prepared for a wait. The kitchen is in full view of the dining area so you see the process which was cool.
Aaron R — Google review
I've been to this spot a few times usually the food is spot on. However on my most recent visit not so good. The tacos were dry and the chicken was overcooked.
M C — Google review
I was super excited to eat here because when I seen they made tortillas in house fresh I figured it was going to be amazing but it was just okay. The food is handled without gloves which wouldn't be an issue if the person handling the register and other things wasn't also handling the food. The tacos are pretty dry and tortillas as well. The burrito was pretty good and large quantity but nothing special.

Tony's Baltimore Grill is a divey old-school pizza restaurant with delicious Italian comfort food. The staff is excellent and the juke boxes are a nice touch. The only downside is that the food isn't very fancy, but it's definitely worth a visit for classic pies and comfort foods at an affordable price.
What a great experience. Sometimes you gotta go back to the basics. The food and staff were great, the service was awesome. Kate was a great server. Will be back again and again. AND the hostess was adorable. She seated me in the back corner where, as a solo guest, I felt just right. The career staff shows it by making everyone feel welcome.
The T — Google review
I haven't been here in 15 years. I finally had a chance to stop when I was visiting family in NJ. It hasn't changed, and I love it that way. Tony's can be somewhat polarizing in reviews, but I am one of the people who still loves this place. The bread was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The mushroom and sausage pizza was exactly how I remembered it. Very hot, very fresh, and tasty. The staff was great and attentive. I'll be back next year with one of my annual visits.
Barbara G — Google review
This place is a great old school joint! Came highly recommended by a friend so we checked it out. From the atmosphere to the service to the food, everything was great. A little loud, but in a good way; place was hopping for a weeknight. If you’re in AC looking for classic, no frills Italian, check out Tony’s Baltimore Grill. Good food, good prices and a fun lively vibe.
Jennifer A — Google review
Had to check it out while in the area. Wasn't disappointed either. Great pizza, meatballs, sauce, bread. Scallops looked good. I'd say the food in general is solid and homemade. Beer was good, cold, served right. Also prices are very reasonable. Our server was very nice. The area it's in is a little rough, but I'd say worth going during the day. I can see why it's still going 100 years later.
Joey F — Google review
I stopped in and had the turkey club — it was decent, but nothing particularly memorable. The ingredients were fresh and it hit the spot for a quick bite, but flavor-wise, it felt a bit on the safe side. That said, the rest of the menu looked a lot more exciting, and I get the sense that there are some real standouts I probably missed. I was just in the mood for a classic sandwich, but next time I’d definitely be curious to try one of their more unique dishes. The service and atmosphere were great, so I’ll definitely be back to explore more of the menu.
Willy — Google review
It has old pizzaria vibe. I loved seeing the jukebox as part of the decoration in the restaurant. Food was ok and service was just ok.
Mian C — Google review
Old School Pizza Joint! A hidden gem- but not really because Everyone knows about it! Interesting to say, I liked the clams casino pizza, although odd for a pizza but heck it was good! Definitely check them out. It get SUPER busy at some times, so except a bit of a wait but worth it.
Kevin E — Google review
I’m always down for a dive bar, and I appreciate a dive bar with a happy hour. The atmosphere is definitely vintage. Their happy hour drinks were all a cute nine ounce pours, and the bartender was kind enough to tell us when it would make a better deal to get a pint. Service was a tad slow. It seemed like the bartender was manning both the bar, tables, and getting the place set up for the day. He was friendly, but it took a few minutes before he came over to us. Food was alright. We had a mozzarella stick, meatballs, and some fried shrimp. Meatballs and mozzarella stick were fine. The shrimp I was not a fan of due to have a crunchy texture. The crunch tasted more like the shells were left on rather than the batter being crisp. Overall, I enjoyed myself. I would probably just stick to drinks next time.

Coffee shop
Gilchrist Restaurant is a long-standing eatery located in downtown Atlantic City, offering classic American breakfast and lunch since 1946. The cozy and welcoming atmosphere, reminiscent of traditional diners, makes it a popular spot for families. Known for its delicious home fries, hotcakes, French toast, crispy bacon, and eggs prepared to your liking with a side of grits. Locals highly recommend the signature blueberry hotcakes as the best in town.
Everything was wonderful. Loved the location. Came for lunch right by the aquarium in town. Very clean and felt like home. Ate lunch outside beautiful day for it. Would visit again when at the casinos. Or boat cruise. Only thing I didn’t like was the fish and chips were very greasy for like taste but everything else was on point.
Chris M — Google review
Big disappointment. The waiter did not bring us what we asked for and forgot about it. The food was so unpleasant and blend, we could not even finish it. French toast was saggy and not pleasant to eat. We also had to wait to be seated for 30 min. I think this place is “an emperor with no clothes”. The only great thing about this place was its location right on the water. That’s all. This place needs to step up their game! We would not come back.
Kosta R — Google review
The breakfast food was good, with nice portions, and they know how to make a perfect over-easy egg nice and white, waitresses were nice but to get everything we needed we had to flag 3 different ones down and the cashier for refills. Nice little place right on the water. Prices were slightly higher but we were on the water and close to casinos!
JOSEPH Z — Google review
Great Breakfast restaurant to drop by if you are in Atlantic city area. Coffee was fresh, French toast was just right, not too greasy, and the omelet was deliscious too.
Renee K — Google review
Pulled up for Sunday breakfast after catching a fire review on IG—and trust, it lived up to the hype. Place was packed, but we waited less than 10 minutes. Vibes were right, and the service? On point. Friendly, quick, and all smiles. She went with the spinach omelette—fresh, flavorful, zero notes. I skipped the signature blueberry pancakes and kept it classic with the buttermilk stack. No regrets—fluffy, buttery, and straight-up perfect. This spot knows what it’s doing. Definitely in the brunch rotation now the next time I'm in Atlantic City. (Apologize for the lighting on the video, my settings were incorrect).

ACs hidden BREAKFAST gem! love this breakfast spot by the marina. The food, service, and atmosphere is perfect! There is a wait and it's always busy. just means its really good.

I've always enjoyed the other Gilchrist restaurants and wanted to try this one. The fact that it is on the water is just awesome. It's so relaxing. In typical Gilchrist style, the food is always delicious.

Restaurant
Cafe 2825 is a charming Italian restaurant in Atlantic City, known for its intimate atmosphere and authentic cuisine. Since 1986, this cozy eatery has been serving up classic Italian dishes like eggplant rollatini, veal chop Parmigiana, and a variety of housemade pastas. The menu features Neapolitan and Sicilian appetizers, with standout tableside experiences including the preparation of fresh burrata by owner Joe Lautato.
We had dinner at Cafe 2825 and everything was amazing from start to finish. The service was top-notch—our server was friendly and helpful. The homemade mozzarella and tableside Caesar salad were delicious! They have a good wine list and some nice cocktails. The atmosphere of the restaurant is warm, and cozy, and has a real classic feel. It’s a small place, but that just adds to the charm. Overall, I would highly recommend Cafe 2825. If you’re in Atlantic City and want a great meal with great service, this is the place to go. I’ll definitely be back.
Ted P — Google review
OMG ! If you’re lucky enough to get a seat in this restaurant you won’t be disappointed. Don’t skip on the table-side service. We had the fresh made mozzarella - yes it’s to die for. And we followed that up with q Locatelli cheese wheel table-side pasta service. Add in a Sunday gravy entree and life is good.
Matt R — Google review
I felt like I was back in time eating in Italy! This beautiful restaurant is a must go to! Make a reservation well in advance (leave a message on the machine and someone will call you back). Get at least one tableside service, it is worth it! We had the tableside Caesar salad (they make it in front of you). I ordered the lobster marinara for dinner. It was fabulous! This restaurant is a place you go to if you LOVE food. It is simply delicious! And the owners care. They will come out and check on you. The restaurant is small, so you MUST make a reservation. I did see a big group go to the back, so they can accommodate if you book in advance.

Food off the hook Ginny the maitre d/owner, was friendly & more than helpful. Service & drinks were the best! If you go you know $$$ I will return every year, if I can get a reservation.

Superb spot in AC! I’m originally from the north east but live down south now. On a recent trip home I was craving that authentic Sunday gravy dinner my grandmom used to make. This place nailed it and made my childhood memories a reality. The table side experiences are where it’s at. Fresh mozzarella and Cacio e Pepe is heaven. Main dishes were just perfection! Service is five star. I will be back! It’s hard to get into but worth the patience.
Rebecca R — Google review
Amazing service! My husband and I came here for our anniversary and are very glad we did. The attention to detail is amazing, and you can tell the family is passionate about their service. All of the food was delicious. Overall an enjoyable experience. They have a parking lot on Brighton Ave, just up the road which is nice. Not a far walk at all.

The best Italian diner in South Jersey the food and atmosphere and amazing and you will enjoy your meal I guarantee it.
Anthony M — Google review
Everyone we know that has been here loves it. Maybe we went on an off night for them. Unfortunately, the hostess set the tone. Her displeasure over us not having a reservation on a Tuesday was very evident. There were more tables available than there were occupied when we arrived. There were still several available when we left as well. So, I didn't quite get the attitude. Honestly, I was ready to walk out with her attitude. I was encouraged to stay since we heard so many good things from others. Luckily, we had a much more pleasant server. We ordered the pasta sampler. It was good. I was surprised that they had a small up-charge for each of the 3 choices. I don't recall seeing that mentioned on the menu & we weren't notified that there would be one when we ordered. Not all of our choices had protein. So, not sure what that was about. I just wanted to leave at that point and wasn't going to prolong things to bother complaining. I'll say that their weekly classics menu sounds delicious along with the rest of their menu. I just wish we had a better experience. Especially since we were there celebrating a birthday.

Have eaten here twice. Excellent! Pics are only from 2nd visit. Pizza here is great. The eggplant app we had both times, everyone loves it. My son had a filet that he loved. Cocktails are very good. Cacio de pepe is not on the menu, but they made it for my son's birthday. Can't beat that! I really enjoyed teh Spaghettini Neri, I had that both times. Wife loved the carbonara.

Girasole has always been one of the best Italian restaurants in the area. We have eaten there a few times years ago, but because they didn't have parking, it was difficult to patronize. Now that there is FREE PARKING very close, we have been eating there much more frequently. The food and drinks are amazing. The service is fast, polite and professional. The atmosphere is wonderful. It is not inexpensive, but they have a wonderful Happy Hour menu that is very reasonably priced. I highly recommend.

I've said for 20yrs I want my last meal to be veal parm on the bone from Tremontis in Delray. Well Girasole just changed my last wish!! Fantastic food! Fantastic service!! Great atmosphere!! How I've been coming to AC for 30yrs and never even heard of it is very sad. We will become regulars
JAMES M — Google review
The food was excellent. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. Our table was next to the pizza oven and a heater so it was a bit warm, other than that we had a wonderful time
G — Google review
The food was uniformly excellent. Outdoor seating was extremely uncomfortable due to blinding sunlight and tight seating. Service was good aside from one glitch. The waiter passed a full drink across the table rather than walking around and handing it to the recipient, resulting in massive spillage. On the whole, this is a lovely restaurant that needs a little more polish.

Steak house
Council Oak Steaks & Seafood is a contemporary and upscale dining venue located in the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Atlantic City. It offers a sophisticated atmosphere with a focus on elevated seafood and meat dishes, as well as an array of desserts and cocktails. The restaurant prides itself on ocean-to-table dining, featuring cold seafood selections such as various types of oysters, crab cakes, wood-fired shrimp, clams oreganata, and more.
I’ve always considered the Council Oak Steakhouse at the Hard Rock Hollywood, Florida, to be the best — until now! During my recent stay at the Hard Rock in Atlantic City, I had the chance to dine at their Council Oak Steakhouse, and I couldn’t be more impressed. The food was absolutely outstanding, and the entire experience was exceptional from start to finish. Everything from the ambiance to the service exceeded my expectations. By far the best dining experience I’ve ever had — I couldn’t have been more pleased!
Misty R — Google review
Council Oak Steak and Seafood in Atlantic City offers a fantastic buffet breakfast, perfect for starting the day. The spread includes fresh sushi and prawns, offering a light yet delicious start. The fluffy omelette with charred asparagus, crispy potatoes, and tender artichokes is a hearty option for those looking to indulge in something savoury. For a sweet ending, there's a tempting selection of fresh fruits and desserts, providing a satisfying and well-rounded breakfast experience. Paired with a classic Bloody Mary, it’s an ideal way to enjoy a leisurely morning!
Jarosław Z — Google review
Council Oak Steaks & Seafood is located inside the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. They are open Sun - Thu 5PM - 10PM, Fri 5PM - 12AM, and Sat 4PM - 12AM. Reservations required. My friends and I stopped in for the first time last Wednesday, and the experience was thoroughly enjoyable from start to finish. We began with the crispy calamari and shrimp, as well as the wagyu meatballs. The calamari offered a unique twist, but sometimes basic is better. Enjoyable overall, though I've had better in Atlantic City. The meatballs were exceptionally tender and full of flavor. Next, I tried the New England Clam Chowder, topped with crispy pancetta and oyster crackers. It was easily the best clam chowder I've ever had. For dinner we split the 22 oz bone-in ribeye, 10 oz filet mignon, lobster mac & cheese, and au gratin potatoes. Both steaks were expertly cooked, and the sides complimented them perfectly. My only complaint is that the ribeye arrived lukewarm rather than hot. We ended with the tiramisu; light, silky, and delicious. The presentation was original and added a nice touch to a classic dessert. Service was solid. Our server was attentive and helpful with the menu, and the manager stopped by to check on us.

Council Oak was a very nice experience but be prepared to pay top dollar. The service was excellent and so was the food. We had the dry aged prime rib special, surf & turf, and scallops. The steak was delicious, the lobster was the best I’ve ever tasted. However the (4) scallops were disappointing. They had a smoky flavor to them and were seared only on one side, and the pea 🫛 puree was nothing to write home about (Just smashed peas). I personally like my scallops seared on both sides not one side gelatinous. The sides were large enough for 2 people. We had the special jersey corn w jalapeño & feta cheese. This was tasty and the baked potato was supersized (the largest I’ve ever seen). The sides were about $13 each. Everything is À la cart. This was a great experience but for the cost; you can do better somewhere else. We also ordered the colossal crab meat appetizer which they delivered after they put our entrées down on the table, so the waiter suggested we just put it on our steak. This a side note the chairs at the table were very heavy and difficult to move but super comfortable. I could see this being an issue for an older person trying to get in and out of during dinner.

We had a good experience here from the time we sat down to the time we left. We weren't rushed nor did it take an unreasonable time between the courses. The wait staff were very attentive, polite and check up regularly. I had a filet and it was cooked to my liking. Drinks were strong. Kids enjoyed the deserts as well. It's in AC so of course everything is a bit expensive as expected. I think it was worth it.

We had an amazing dinner at Council Oak Steaks & Seafood, Atlantic City ! 🥩🦞🍤 The filet mignon, shrimp scampi, and lobster were absolutely delicious — perfectly cooked and full of flavor. 😋 From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly attentive and friendly. A special thank you to our server Victor, who made my birthday dinner extra special with his warm service and great attitude. 🎉 Thank you to the whole team — we’ll definitely be back and highly recommend this restaurant! 💫

The restaurant itself is beautiful. Excellent use of space, the tables are far apart and not on top of each other. The tables along the windows have a nice view of the boardwalk. We had a good view of the ferris wheel. The table bread was cut into 4 small rolls, and was reminiscent of a warm, buttered pretzel. We ordered appetizers: Burrata and prosciutto and Wagyu meatballs. Both were excellent. The meatballs melted in my mouth, and the salad couldn't have been better. My only thing with the meatballs, a little too much garlic. For our meals: 10oz A5 Wagyu and the specialty, Grilled Salmon. This particular cut off Wagyu was a little too fatty for me, but my wife LOVED it! And get salmon was marvelous, an easy 10 in her book. Both sides: the baked potato and broccolini were both fantastic. Would easily order both again. Our waitress Victoria and our assistant Jhon were both knowledgeable and fast with service. Overall, a great first experience at this location. Will definitely come back again.

Worst steak I’ve ever had in my life. $75 steak but feels like $10 grocery market steak. I was shocked to taste burnt ends and a rubbery middle for my medium rare Prime New York strip. Restaurant Depot appetizers and terra chips for their beef tartare….worst food I’ve had in a while. Food runners had an attitude even worse than I could imagine. Server was doing a great job though ….

LandShark Bar & Grill in Atlantic City is a lively boardwalk spot that serves up classic American fare like burgers, foot-long hot dogs, and fried shrimp. The bar offers multiple levels of indoor and outdoor spaces, creating a fun and inviting atmosphere for visitors to enjoy. Families can appreciate the kid-friendly menu featuring childhood favorites like popcorn shrimp and hot dogs, while adults can savor frozen margaritas in peace.
This grill bar is located right on the boardwalk, right on the beach, with an open terrace and access to the ocean. The bar is very large, they immediately found a place for us. There is also a store with the bar's logo on the goods. The service is excellent. I ordered a crab cake, it was delicious, moderately spicy, tender with boiled green beans and French fries for a side dish. We also tried lime pie and banana pudding, they were not bad. I highly recommend this bar, a great place.

Experience was nice. Was seated and ordered within minutes. Ordered Fish & Chips and a Rum Runner. Fish & Chips were flavorful. The portion of chips seemed small. More fries were needed. The Rum Runner was suttle. It was frozen and good. The atmosphere was good. There are televisions available to watch sports. Jeremiah, server, was polite. He showed patience and checked in often. He did not rush during the ordering process.

The food took two hours kitchen must have been backed up? But besides that everything was nice. Right on the beach, can get a little loud but that’s okay. Food was good, and tasted nice, but is expensive. Fries could use some work tho. The chicken Caribbean salad with the mango ranch dressing—I think was just plain ranch.

I've seen this place so many times and thought it looked pretty nice. I got the fish tacos, it was ok. The fish and chips were very very good and flavorful. The atmosphere is nice, love the beach close by. The service needs improvement, my drink came after I ate my meal. I don't know if the waitress was frantic but she spent her time talking to others while I could see my drinks at the bar.

Below average bar food. Pretty much everything is fried. Had to chase our server ALL THE TIME for our drinks, foods and even the bill. Terrible service!! Be careful with the hidden fees for credit cards. No one ever mentioned it.

The boardwalk location & the beach view is the best thing about Landshark. The food is just average but way over priced for the small portions of fried bar food. The music was really good & the waiter was good & attentive. We probably won't return.

I’m on the Atlantic City boardwalk enjoying the airshow, with crowds gathered on the deck. There’s a restaurant here charging $75 just to sit at their tables, while you can watch the same show for free just five feet away. I’d happily patronize this place, buy some drinks, and enjoy the show for a few hours, but they’re gouging customers by capitalizing on a free event. To make matters worse, their umbrellas are partially blocking the view. This is a terrible business move—you’re driving away customers like me who would’ve spent money at your bar. Rethink this for the next airshow, because this is the most ridiculous setup I’ve ever seen. Update. Look at the money ( photos ) they are losing.

LandShark (part of the Margaritaville franchise) comes with ocean views as well as indoor and outdoor seating. We had wanted to sit outside but the live singer was far too loud for us to enjoy dinner conversation. When asked if we could adjust our reservation, supervisor Jason greeted us and found a perfect outdoor table for us away from the noise. Jason also left us in the capable hands of Alexandru. He was both kind and quick. My grilled salmon was absolutely perfect, which was superior to Margaritaville right across the boardwalk. My girlfriend loved her crispy chicken sandwich. However, my Perfect Margarita was not as good as Margaritaville. Even so, we enjoyed the food and quality service, and we got a chance to thank Jason for his help. We also sang Alexandru's praises.

Italian restaurant
Angelo's Fairmount Tavern is a historic Italian restaurant that has been serving authentic Mancuso family recipes since 1935. Located in Atlantic City, it is known for its generous portions of classic Italian dishes and a diverse wine list. The cozy atmosphere and welcoming staff make diners feel at home, while the walls adorned with sports memorabilia add to the old-school charm. Despite being an affordable option, the quality of food and service is top-notch.
This place was amazing! Food was not only delicious but affordable and with big portions. Family restaurant with patrons coming here for 60 years. The house wine was perfect with our meal. This was by far the best part of our trip to AC!

A great old school Italian spot for dinner. We had the chicken Anthony and the eggplant parm. We also had the artichoke and spinach app and the key lime pie for dessert. Everything was delicious and the place feels so nostalgic. Especially for an Italian American from northern NJ. Loved it and when I'm down South Jersey again will definitely come here.

One of my favorite restaurants in NJ . Atlantic City's famous Italian restaurant, it started business in 1935, - a 90-years old historic great restaurant history. Comparing to other restaurants in Atlantic City, the prices are reasonable. The portions are generous and the food is delicious. Our waitress is very attentive even found out a slice of tomato was accidentally dropped in to my boyfriend’s soda before we released while serving salad and replaced it . Great Service. Thumbs up. 👍 The restaurant is filled with valuable historical photos, especially boxing photos ( at our dining area ) and more historical photos. It’s a great place for family gatherings. Reservations are recommended for groups of more than 10 people. I recommended to arrive early or late to avoid peak meal times long waiting on weekends and holidays as reservations are not accepted for groups of less than 10 people . My only suggestion is the salad that comes with the meal; the dressing tend to be too much . If you prefer light meal like me, remember to tell your server salad dressing separately.

Old school italian restaurant. Historic place with alot of memorabilia hanging throughout. Honestly wasn't as good as I had anticipated. Antipasto was OK, some meats and cheeses on a bed of greens. Chicken parm was large, however cutlets were thick and smothered in sauce which made them pasty. Linguine with spinach and artichokes, garlic and oil. The spinach was frozen, the artichokes from a jar. Garlic was diced from a jar. These should be cut fresh. Side salads were bagged salads. For the iconic status of the restaurant it was disappointing as we expected more from the quality. It was a decent meal, decent price, just under performed.

Enjoyed a big portion of stuffed rigatoni with meat sauce and some great colleagues at a work event on 6/7/25. Our server was solid and as good as they come. Kelsey's Atlantic City is a classy soul-food restaurant owned by Kelsey and Kimberly Jackson. The upscale eatery offers elevated versions of traditional comfort-food dishes and hosts live music on the weekends, creating a vibrant atmosphere for guests to enjoy. The restaurant is known for its soul food brunch buffet, where patrons can indulge in shrimp and grits while vibing to 90s R&B or other tunes spun by the DJ.
Amazing! Justin server was a joy. Whiting and shrimp combo, and the Fried Wings needed just a hair more seasoning compared to the fish and shrimp. Greens were a must have, yams are soooooo goooood. Sweeeeet with a hint of vanilla, baked Mac and Cheese prepared with sharp cheddar versus a creamy mild cheese sauce. Defiantly get the cornbread. You won’t be disappointed. We were there when there was live music. What a treat.

This place is a tough sell. I made a reservation weeks in advance. I accidentally canceled it. They don’t answer the phone only voice mails, I sent a email, sent a text. To no avail. Went there when they opened at 10AM. Young lady said still come back at 4PM my group of 4 should be fine. That was a lie. Was in line at 3:40PM. There is no place I want to eat at that I will wait longer than 15 minutes. But this was my wife’s birthday and she wanted to attend before the concert. We stood in line until 5:40PM. Then had to sit at the bar. None of us drink alcohol. This poor attitude by the staff has to come from the top. Word of mouth is huge for a restaurant, especially in a town with so many other options. You would think they would want to make sure your experience is pleasant. Now once we walked in, it was empty tables everywhere. I couldn’t believe it. I was so disappointed. Food was okay, didn’t knock my socks off and certainly wasn’t worth a 2+ hour wait. It did come pretty quickly. We didn’t take up a lot of time because you could see people still standing in line through the glass. We are considerate people even if the management is not. This place is a hard pass for my family next time in AC. Just expected better treatment especially from my own. I wish they would do better, start by answering the phone!

We really wanted to enjoy the brunch, but unfortunately we were disappointed. The red velvet and sweet potato waffles are good; you get 2 pieces per plate (they are not on the buffet tables; the server brings them). The mac and cheese wasn't good at all. It was oily and the cheese used was separating - not a good flavor. The pot roast had good flavor but was a bit tough. The shrimp & sauce for the the shrimp n grits was good. The grits were a bit runny. For the price ($45+ per person) I would suggest having more selections available. The music was great. Not much other ambience in the restaurant during brunch.

Kelsey's in Atlantic City is a fantastic spot for a Sunday brunch! We rolled in around 11 AM and were seated immediately – no wait at all. The buffet was $46 and honestly, it was totally worth it. Our waitress was super attentive and kept checking on us, which was a nice touch. While the selection wasn't huge, with about 12 different trays of food, everything they offered was really good. My personal favorites were the Grits with shrimp gravy, the savory Lobster Cakes, and the perfectly spiced Spicy catfish. The Jerk Chicken was also incredibly flavorful and a definite highlight. They also have an omelet and pancake station where you can get your eggs cooked exactly how you like them. To top it all off, the DJ really set a great vibe for the whole place. I thoroughly enjoyed both the food and the atmosphere!

We went here for brunch on Saturday first time coming here for brunch it was $46.00 per person. At first I thought that seems a little high for brunch but when we got inside the atmosphere far as the DJ playing some good songs had the customers dancing and singing. It wasn't your typical type of brunch. The food that they had for brunch was a really good mix everything that I got I enjoyed. I really like that you can order your fish and they would bring it out to you nice and hot they had to cook making omelettes and pancakes right on the spot. Definitely will come back for brunch again.

My Husband and I had a FANTASTIC TIME here. It was our first time and upon entering the vibes were IMMACULATE. Our waiter’s name was Scott and he was SO AWESOME!! Super personable, super professional, and super kind. My Hubby and I came on a Wednesday to celebrate our anniversary and we were not disappointed. This place is everything and the food was DELICIOUS! I can’t wait to come back. We also had our picture taken, edited and framed in a cute little 5x7 frame and we were super happy with it. It was just a wonderful experience. Support this business.

I came here craving some soul food and had passed by the other day and wanted to come back. I got a seat pretty quick at the bar. The menu is a scan code for your phone that was pretty cool. I got a sweet tea and the fish and shrimp platter with Mac and cheese and black eyes w rice. The black eyes were great with just enough salt and shreds of pork in it. The shrimp were great, nice seasoning and the white fish was good. They did a good job on removing almost all the bones. Now anyone that has read my post when it comes to Mac and cheese, they know I am a critic. This Mac and cheese was a disappointment. It had no cheese sauce and was more like scrambled eggs, either they curdled it or to much flour but bartender said they dont use a rue. Needless to say it was very dry. I added a pic of it. Bartender was super nice and the music was great.
Fewx J — Google review
Everything about this place is overrated, food was okay but the service was terrible. Even with the temperature outside being above 100F they made us stand in the sun, when asked if we can move to the shade, they didn’t let us. When entered we saw there was plenty of space to fit everyone in the queue and more. I wouldn’t say they have the best seafood I have ever eaten. The crab cakes were smelly and the shrimp too. Fish Tacos were the only good ones from the menu

Tony Boloney's in Atlantic City is a lively and trendy spot known for its creatively named pizzas, subs, and other snacks with innovative topping options. The restaurant offers an array of unique pizza styles, including a General Tso's chicken pie, a burrata-topped slice option, and even a taco pie adorned with full tacos around its circumference. Despite the Instagram-worthy gimmicks, Tony Boloney's prioritizes taste above all else.
So after years of following and wanting to try we decided to take a trip to beautiful Hoboken to try Toney’s and it was far from a disappointment the gentleman was very pleasant he gave me the history of the establishment and also was nice enough to let us try a few slices on the house.Didn’t have to but it was amazing and the slices was bussing!!!. We also grabbed the sandwiches the trex and the beef patty sandwich(chef kiss).. it was so great if I can give 10 stars I truly will,, much love from south jersey

Food is tasty. Got an 18" pizza, Caesar salad, 2 subs, and mozzarella stick sampler. Reasonable priced for AC (more expensive because it's AC). Easy to order online. The gimmick is the food names and funny sayings for certain things. Some of them the random food ingredients, like Fritos, on top of our chicken sub didn't add to the enhancement and prob would have been fine without it. The pizza and 1 of the subs were slightly burnt.

Tony Boloney’s in Atlantic City is an absolute gem! I ordered the Lobster Trap and it completely blew me away. The portion was generous, the lobster was fresh and perfectly cooked, and the flavors were rich, creamy, and decadent without being over the top. Every bite felt like the perfect balance of indulgence and comfort food. The vibe of the place is fun and welcoming, and the staff was super friendly, making the whole experience even better. I can honestly say the Lobster Trap is one of the best things I’ve eaten in Atlantic City, and I’ll definitely be coming back to try more of their wild creations. If you’re visiting AC, do yourself a favor and make Tony Boloney’s a stop—you won’t regret it!

I tried the Shit Face Chicken and the Swine Fighter, and both were seriously good! The flavors were bold, cheesy, and packed with toppings. You can tell they use quality ingredients and get creative with their combinations. I also love how each signature pizza has a funny and unique name — it adds to the whole experience. Definitely a must-try spot if you’re looking for something different and full of flavor!

The food was ok. I won't go back. Area is sketchy. Watched some guys pull up their truck full of junk and off load it to a dumpster not theirs. Place has no air conditioning. Tables were super sticky. I just wanted to eat and leave. My husband did like his sandwich. My lemon wings were like chicken picatta. I ate 2 and tossed the rest. The cheese sticks were ok, but cheese was wet. I ordered a slice of cheese pizza, said slice AC..but never got it. I was told we didn't order one. Not a great date experience.

Nestled in a cozy corner of Atlantic City, Maria's Luncheonette is the perfect spot for those craving hearty American comfort food any time of day. This charming eatery boasts a nostalgic vibe with its classic black and white tiled floors, reminiscent of traditional diners. Whether you roll in at dawn or after an adventurous night out, Maria’s has got you covered with an all-day breakfast menu that features generous portions.
This was our go-to breakfast place while we were at Atlantic City. The food here is delicious and very affordable. I ordered the Maria’s Belgian Waffle delight for both days I was here and it was out of the world. I love sweet breakfast when on vacation and this checks all the boxes - fresh fruits, ice cream, waffle and whipped cream combined to perfection. My husband ate the salty ones like omelette, potatoes, french toast etc and they were all equally delicious. Highly recommend when in Atlantic City!

After bringing in the new year with my family my parents and I decided to get breakfast before heading home. We found Maria’s Luncheonette and decided to dine in. When we got there we could tell that the business was definitely booming for this restaurant. We had to wait a little over twenty minutes to be seated at the counter. It was busy and crowded with people filling all the tables and DoorDash orders coming in and out. It was a nice atmosphere with friendly customer service and delicious smelling food. The breakfast I got was good but nothing too special. It came to hot and ready to eat. The only thing I didn’t like was that my grits weren’t the best. If you’re looking for a decent sized meal for a decent price, I would recommend.

Walked into Maria’s Luncheonette and Baaaam! This place was packed, buzzing, and smelled like heaven. The staff was all amazing, but special shoutout to Joseline, my waitress. She was so kind, so smiley, she made our morning even better. The food? I almost swallowed my tongue. Fluffy eggs, huge omelets, crispy bacon, perfect pancakes- every bite was pure happiness on a plate. I remember it and want to eat again! No frills, just amazing diner vibes, stuff, and food. Five stars. Full belly. Big smile. I’m definitely coming back.

Maria’s is a classic local mom-and-pop diner that’s earned its place in the neighborhood. Service was fine, though a bit slow to start after self-seating. The food, while plentiful, was bland and forgettable, the savory options lacked flavor. On the flip side, the sweet baked goods looked great and seemed to be the main draw. Prices were fair and the place stayed busy during our Saturday visit. Worth supporting for its local roots, but the kitchen could use a bit more spark.

While staying in AC, I came here for breakfast one morning. The place was packed and the service was great! I was able to score a table without a wait. There was lots of carry-out business going on during my stay. The food is typical diner fare for breakfast. The prices were really nice. The venue is typical (for a “row house” type diner) and spacious. They have lots of hot sauce options!! I tried a side dish of their corned beef hash (which is the typical “Hormel” style) done extra crispy and it came out perfect! Next up was the plain bagel with egg, cheese, & beef sausage breakfast sandwich, which was excellent and very fresh & tasty!!! Like I mentioned, service was great too… she kept an eye on my needs and they topped off coffee as needed. I can see why the reviews are so good… this place is definitely worth visiting!

We went on a Wednesday at lunch. The drinks were terrible and overpriced. I had to ask twice to have the puddles on the bar wiped up at our seats. The beer taps are disgustingly filthy. The sushi is $25 a roll and was comparable to something you can get at a convenience store. The server forgot to put in my wife’s salad and then when she put it in it came out 20 minutes later and and it was the wrong order. Everything is served on paper plates with cafeteria style plastic silverware wraps. This is cafeteria food at gourmet prices. The servers were indifferent toward anything they messed up which was both the drinks and food.
Raymond P — Google review
Well now I know why this place has a 3.8 rating. I used to come to the deck all the time by boat when I was a kid. Came back for the first time in years for the crab leg special. I asked for the strawberry lemonade without the vanilla. I got the drink, tasted vanilla, waitress said she made it herself and there was none in it. She brought over the strawberry mix for me to taste which tasted totally fine without any hint of vanilla. Didn’t drink the drink and said that it wasn’t good and it was not removed from our bill. Mind you the drink was 30 bucks for 32 ounces and I was excited for it on my last night of summer vacay. As for food, my mom enjoyed her coconut shrimp and my aunt enjoyed the wings. The crab legs were good but lukewarm and by the time I was done cracking with my plastic utensils it was freezing. Supposedly by law they can’t give you a real fork? The fries were overly seasoned with old bay and rock hard. I told all of this to the waitress and nothing was done to try and reconcile the situation. After I complained, the waitress (Madison/Maddy) was so rude. She tossed the bill down and basically ran away from the table. No “let me have the bartender make you another drink”, “have a good night”, “thank you for coming” nothing but rude silence. I’d also like to point out the place was empty! She should not be working with customers. I took the bill up to the bar to have the drink removed. Thank you to the bartenders who were very kind, took care of the bill and removed the drink. I will not be returning to this establishment.

I’ve had some fun times dancing, drinking and watching bands here. It’s a great venue for music. This past time was in late May with a full moon. The band Steal The Sky was playing (great band) with the moon rising over the stage on a perfect night to be outdoors. You can sit at the bar or the elevated deck so people dancing doesn’t block your view of the band. Two bars makes it easy to get a drink. Servers are also available if you sit at one of the tables. We have not had dinner there but the food looks good and it is one of the few places you can have a real meal while listening to good live music. If you like live music and have not seen Steal The Sky, check for the next time they are playing on The Deck or at one of the other casinos. But nothing beats this venue on a nice night.

Restaurant
Wonder Bar is a local favorite offering American pub fare and drinks in a lively space with an outdoor deck overlooking the water. It's known for its delicious bar foods, great service, and football Sunday deals during the season. The laid-back waterfront bar and grill provides stunning sunset views, a tiki bar, and a diverse menu including salads, seafood appetizers, traditional bar bites, burgers, pizza, sandwiches, and a kids' menu.
The food was very good. We had chicken fajitas and little neck steamers. The atmosphere was cool. They have an outside deck that boats can pull up too. They also had some live music when I was there. There is an inside restaurant with a bar. The male bartender was very nice and attentive to us. We would definitely return here. They also have a parking lot which is good cause anywhere at the beach is limited.

My partner and I each got burgers. They were bland. Mine was okay until I bit into the veggies and they tasted like fish .. like they were prepared where raw fish may have been. His was bland so he salted it and still meh. Clam strips, bland. Fries were the best tasting thing we got. Servers were all very nice. Outdoor seating on the patio was nice, and I enjoyed the music being early 2000s! Wouldn’t probably eat here again only due to flavor of food. Everything else was great!

I enjoyed an order of hot wings but they weren't very hot. Big bucket of blue cheese and a lot of celery. The service was pretty good other than you had to order at the bar from a server. You got your drinks from the bartender. Pretty slow for Tuesday night but if you get there early for happy hour there's some great deals

I don’t know what this guys deal was. I think he either was lazy or racist or both who knows. But did not even bother to look/check our ids because we had a couple of us from neighboring closed states such as Pennsylvania and Virginia. Said and assumed that they would all be fake and when asked for a scanner to check he said word for word “I am the scanner” like buddy can’t even do his job. One person in our group had their passport and when I said on the side “I don’t have my passport on me” he looks at me and said “well your buddy did” in a condescending tone as if everyone in the entire globe brings around their passport everywhere. Anyways, place was dead, if you go there and see a gigantic whale ask him again if the bar requires two forms of id to get in and ask for him to scan your id with his eyes very closely.

They've been going through transitional periods... I get it. You get it. We all get it. However, as of late, the kids are trying! Not much leadership other than their manager, who, for me is amazing. Lately their newer hires are actually customer service forward, but also, just... friendly. I've always come here, but as of late, compared to the others, the kids here... are actually on it.WITH A SMILE. Food on point. Don't sleep on WB

A definite go to. Try to get there while the outside is open in the summer. The inside is just as good. Nice and roomy, good food, food staff. Highly recommended

If you want good seafood by the water this IS NOT the move. Restaurant on the water serving frozen fish. Fish and chips isn’t fresh and gross 🤮. Crab bisque was good. Service was great but atmosphere and food is like a dirty bar where you shouldn’t be eating. **This is a waste of a restaurant.** Another menu item is listed as “fresh cod” but the other fish is some kind of frozen pre fried tilapia. It was brown like the skin side 🤮 $600 for a stomach ache

Only been there twice, but it was sunset both times, we had a great table on the waterway and it was just great. The food was very fresh, and the staff was kind and nice. Great local joint.

A restaurant with a chic interior and atmosphere, the beauty of the interior is very impressive, a very romantic and atmospheric place, as if you were in a fairy tale. I wanted to visit this place since the time I knew we were going to Atlantic City. Trying Afghan cuisine was on my list since I have never tried it. We went for their brunch on a Sunday afternoon. Disclaimer they do not serve any main course items for lunch hours too. The ambiance was beautiful and picturesque. The staff was super sweet. We ordered bolani which was ok ish but the chutney was delicious, chole puri - chole were delicious and puri was crispy but yum, the third thing we ordered was an omelette that tasted yum too. They even served fresh juice. We had pomegranate and orange juice. The ambiance was so good and birds were chirping and it felt like we were sitting in a courtyard of someone’s home.

Tennessee Avenue Beer Hall is a lively spot that offers a casual American dining experience, an impressive selection of craft beers, and the option for outdoor dining. It has become a central part of the music scene in the Orange Loop area, hosting cover bands and occasional original acts, including performances by renowned artists like Eliot Lewis. The venue features a small stage adorned with unique artwork indoors and boasts an expansive outdoor space for al fresco entertainment.
We finally confirmed what everyone has said about the place! It awesome! The food was great and the service as well! We tried a variety of their appetizers as well some of the entrées. Nothing disappointed! The Mussels were great, and you have to try their Prime Rib Cheesesteaks! My wife and sister-in-law loved the Crab Cake Sliders! When they brought out the orders, everything was hot. It doesn't sit cooling off in the back because they didn't bring it out in a timely manner! (That's a pet peeve of mine!) They don't offer desserts because they recommend going next door at "Bar 32". They specialized in chocolate infused everything from drinks to desserts! It was a great dinner made especially nice because of the service! They were very attentive throughout it all! Check it out! It won't disappoint!

Came on over to enjoy a great beer. I had walked here from about 10 blocks away and just want to give fair warning that there is a slim window of safety in this neighborhood. So stay close to the boardwalk. Now on to the food. I had a fiddlehead beer which was nice. Ordered the fruits di Mar plate with white wine garlic sauce. It was a bit heavy on the mussels and about half were sandy. Quite a few broken shell pieces in the noodles. Noodles were perfectly cooked and I drank down all the delicious sauce at the end. At the end I got the boot and fruit bucket drink to take next door to the cigar bar. It has about 4 shots of whiskey in it. It was yummy. Bartender was a cool guy.

If you find yourself in Atlantic City and want a spot that’s fun, laid back, and all about good vibes, the Tennessee Avenue Beer Hall is the place to go. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance—casual enough that you feel comfortable the second you walk in, but lively enough to make it feel like you’re part of something special. The food is way beyond what you’d expect from a typical beer hall. Every dish feels thoughtfully made, and you can tell they put real effort into both flavor and presentation. It’s the kind of menu where you’ll want to branch out and try something new, but also where the classics are so well done that you’ll keep coming back to them. The staff really tie the whole experience together. Everyone I interacted with was upbeat, attentive, and seemed genuinely happy to be there—something you don’t always find. They make you feel like more than just another customer. And of course, the beer selection is unmatched. Whether you’re into local brews, unique crafts, or just want a perfectly poured pint of something familiar, they’ve got it covered. It’s easily one of the most impressive tap lists you’ll find in the area. One beer I’d recommend is the “I really Love NJ” it was very good. Like a lager, but a little lighter and it had great flavor. Overall, Tennessee Avenue Beer Hall isn’t just a place to grab a drink—it’s an experience that makes Atlantic City feel a little more like home. There were also plenty of TVs to watch the game.

I spent enough time in here on my first visit to try 4 NJ beers. The food I saw looked decent. I opted out since I was grabbing a pizza from the place right next door. Service was solid. Love the beer keg urinals.

Tennessee Avenue Beer Hall is a laid-back gastropub located on Tennessee Avenue in Atlantic City, just steps from the boardwalk. It’s open Sunday and Tuesday through Thursday, 11:30 AM – 10 PM, and Friday and Saturday, 11:30 AM – 11 PM. My friends and I were looking for a spot to grab dinner and drinks. I remembered this place had a great outdoor seating area with a fireplace, so it seemed like the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the evening. We decided to order a variety of dishes and share, including the OG sweet soy wings, OG barbecue wings, traditional red bar pie, and the Tennessee Avenue hot chicken sandwich. Everything was decent, good, but nothing really stood out. The drinks were similar, enjoyable, but a little watered down. Overall, the food and drinks were mediocre, but the spot itself is pretty cool. They even feature live music every Saturday and Sunday.

Dinner last night for my birthday was my first experience at this establishment. And it did not disappoint! The drinks were made well and tasted great. We ordered the house made chips & dip, sampler, empanadas, fish & chips, and crab cake sliders. The dip for the chips is addicting....I mean we seriously just couldn't stop picking at it. The empanadas (not pictured) were delightful. The pork was moist, fried just right, and very flavorful. Fish & chips were a good portion and tasted great. My friend ordered the sliders and said they were great but she ended up taking off the top piece of bread because the bread to crab ratio was too uneven. But the fresh tomatoes on them were perfect. Our waitress Kristina D was on top of her game from start to finish. Very attentive but not overbearing. She was a perfect mixture of funny and personable! We had the pleasure of meeting the owner and he seems to be doing great things with the place!!! I will most definitely be returning!! We'll be there in a week to be exact for a dinner pairing menu with Champagne. Oh and to top it off they sell art from local artists and all the proceeds go directly to them!!!

I had the pulled pork sandwich and and the Chilli tot yummy! Small place in AC that everyone should visit if you're in the city. They had a lot of tap drinks to choose from!

First of all, I liked this place because it's not overly commercialized. It has a real Hometown bar feel. Every one of the staff members I met were really kind and attentive, treating you like they really cared about your experience. The food was tasty and well worth the money And the bartender made sure to fill the beer glasses completely. I realized it was karaoke night as the DJ set up his equipment. The singing and camaraderie made the night even more special. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a Great, Safe, Exciting Time!

Perched on the 23rd floor of The Claridge, The VÜE Rooftop Bar & Lounge is a delightful escape in Atlantic City. This chic venue offers an impressive selection of cocktails, including the refreshing Garden State Spritz, perfect for sipping as you soak in breathtaking sunset views or watch the vibrant lights of Steel Pier's ferris wheel at night.
The place is very nice. The staff are awesome. They are very friendly, engaging and down to earth. I would recommend this location. I orderd long island ice tea, BBQ wings, chicken quesadilla and loaded nachos. Happy hour is from 4pm-7pm. Thursday is karaoke at 7pm and Friday night is old school night.

Best kept secret in AC! Happy hour is a great deal and the view is awesome. Brian, the bartender is a true professional and serves up a mean Old Fashion! Nacho's were a nice snack. I can't wait to go back!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An Unforgettable Experience Thanks to an Incredible Bartender! From the moment I sat down at the bar, I knew I was in good hands. The bartender was nothing short of amazing—warm, welcoming, and incredibly skilled at his craft. He created a vibrant and friendly atmosphere that made the entire experience unforgettable. His attention to detail, creativity with cocktails, and genuine passion for hospitality truly stood out. It felt less like ordering a drink and more like being hosted by a close friend . Every sip was a delight, and every interaction was thoughtful and engaging. This kind of service is rare, and it’s clear that he loves what he does. Huge kudos 😘💋to Him for turning a casual night out into something really special I’ll definitely be back—and bringing friends!🤪😀😌

Very good experience! We came for happy hour. The house drink was a cranberry vodka and it was good! I had the green shot and it was refreshing. The views are beautiful. The only negative is that there were a couple customers on the rooftop smoking and spitting which was pretty nasty.

GREAT! GREAT! Jerry is an awesome bartender and a pleasure to talk with...staff is helpful and friendly. The hotel has a nostalgic feel with a spooky-ish trill. If you or your party is staying at Caesars, you can walk through Bally's and get there. The food is great, Honey Sriracha chicken wings are the go to. We visited in the late afternoon. We will be going back for sure

One of the best views on the strip, excellent food, and great prices. Alex, the bartender killing it with top notch service on top of that. I recommend the wings.

Probably much cooler on a nice day when you go outside. Food and drinks were okay. Service was outstanding. Loved the history of the building, hopefully they will continue to restore it to its Guilded Age glory.

Went for happy hour. It’s a good idea to get there early. Then again it was raining that day so we weren’t able to go outside and enjoy the view. The wings was really good. Think I had some kind of Korean style sauce and it was so good. The nachos was also good. Drinks are reasonable and our bartender was nice. I ordered a martini by accident instead of a cosmo, which is what I wanted. I tried to drink it but couldn’t, was too strong for me. He saw I was not enjoying it and asked me about it. I told him I meant to order a cosmo instead and he changed it out for me no problem. Overall I would recommend here for anyone in the area to visit for happy hour.

We stopped in here for brunch on Sunday in April after spending the night in AC. I found it on Google maps when looking for a brunch or lunch spot and their menu looked good. We sat at one of the bars. We waited a few minutes for a bartender to greet us and provide menus. There is a dining section behind this bar and they must have been busy because he was cranking out drinks. We ordered a couple drinks and our meals - an omelet and a salad with a side of biscuits. The food was served pretty quickly. The taste and flavor was good. Someone else at the bar ordered chicken and waffles and it looked like enough food for 3-4 people to share. The atmosphere was casual and easy going. Prices were comparable to similar places we have been but lower than I was expecting being in AC anyway. They have a nice outdoor space but it was crazy windy the day we were here so we didn’t sit outside. We had an overall enjoyable experience.

The best privately owned restaurant in Atlantic City with something for everyone. The atmosphere is wonderful - it is simultaneously family friendly and perfect for a chic date night. The cocktails are meticulously crafted by expert bartenders - Brian and Manny are a dynamic duo, both knowledgeable mixologists and excellent conversationalists. Meredith is not only also an expert bartender, but a certified sommelier and her Wednesday Wine nights are not to be missed. Our server, Seth, was quick to greet us, take orders, and make us feel right at home. He is thorough and efficient, answering questions and guiding us to the perfect selections based on our needs and tastes. He made us feel right at home. Now the important part: the food! I highly recommend the brussels - best I’ve had anywhere. The raw seafood is also to die for! My go to meals usually involve the steak or salmon options - but I am always sure to try the special of the night. Chef Michael Brennan is a culinary genius. An added nice touch is that he comes out frequently to chat with guests and get feedback. Brunch is also always a good idea at Cardinal. This is one of the few spots in Atlantic City that checks all of the boxes consistently.

I've had many experiences with cardinal since their inception in ventnor and now AC. The food is incredible and so is the service. I had one 4 star experience but they have since completely changed my mind. I had a birthday party there last weekend and I can't express how great they did. Sage the coordinator was communicative and so helpful. They made an adorable drink menu and set up for me. Our bartender (I'm so bad at names) was on point. Speedy and helpful with drink suggestions while still serving the regular restaurant as well as our event. They made me feel so special for my bday. I am a forever customer after this.

Caesars Atlantic City is a hotel and casino with an Ancient Roman theme, offering casual rooms, lively dining options, bars, shops, and concerts. The Qua Baths & Spa at Caesars Atlantic City provides a rejuvenating experience with the Restorative Therapy Ritual that includes essential oil therapy and rhythmic massage. The hotel boasts various amenities such as a rooftop pool, gym, and Roman baths in the spa.
A recent excursion with tickets in hand for boardwalk hall prompted my booking at Ceasars, mostly due to the close proximity to the venue, but also because I fulfilled a promise by my late grandmother of the pleasure of the Ceasars experience & treatment. I pulled up for their convenient valet option and exchanged my key & tip for my ticket to keep for retrieval while a bellhop took my luggage and coat in exchange for my retrieval ticket & tip to hold while I proceeded for my requested early check in. The entry is absolutely grand! Separate lines are available for Ceasars rewards members, Check in was fast and easy, although the magnificence of the lobby with statue of Ceasar & the Gordon Ramsey restaurants were very extravagant. Whoever built this place was over the freaking top with the attention to detail! My room was exquisite! The shower was nice and hot. My room service and restaurant visit and spa day were above any bar I could have set for a memorable experience! I'd definitely go back, if at least for a spa day and early dinner. I dont gamble, but the casino was all kinds of lights and action if that is what draws you in. Highly recommend their Qua spa experience and Roman baths. My entire stay was filled with exceptional service.
Storm W — Google review
The room was good. The only thing I didn't like was our room windows faced the interior so we couldn't let the shade up. I encountered a few nice people but I asked for directions from a lady at the check-in desk and she didn't listen to what I was asking her, got a little snippy when I told her the info she gave wasn't what I was asking for, and then she gave me incomplete directions so I felt like I was on a wild goose chase. We ordered food to the room and I ended of the main items was left off the delivery with no way to call the restaurant and tell them. We had to call housekeeping twice to get washcloths delivered although there were 4 maids with full carts right outside our door. Housekeeping never came and by the time they did it was too late and we had improvised. When housekeeping finally delivered the items, there was everything in the bag BUT not washcloths. We didn't need the other items, just washcloths. Most of the waitresses on the casino floor seemed very unhappy and miserable as there were no smiles at all. I did however encounter a pleasant waitress the next morning when I ordered my coffee. The location seemed to be okay. I was only there one night so I didn't go outside of the hotel but it seemed like there were other casinos that appeared to be close. I probably wouldn't stay there again based on my experience.

First tine in AC @ Caesars. Beds are super comfy. Casino is decent. Some younger dealers/staff were upbeat making things fun, others not so much. Overall trip was exciting and I'm greatful for the opportunity. Loved the Cafe on level 2, delicious baked goods, coffee and subs. I loved taking with the employees there. All of then were so polite and nice.
Tania R — Google review
Location is right on the boardwalk, which is great. The service on the floor for drinks is almost non-existent. Don't expect offers of drinks despite gambling for many hours and days at the slots. They seem to cater to the tables, not slots. The bartenders at the main bar are great. But no service from the servers on the casino floor, so disappointing. The casino bathrooms have been consistently filthy. The rooms are fine in the Centurion Tower. The view is great. Ceasars just needs to work on floor service and cleanliness of bathrooms. The Ramsay pub is always good for any meal. Visit the 'Hook' show and the Horse pub, they are so friendly, and the show is amazing. We've had Superfrico pizza, it's delicious.
D D — Google review
This has to be the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The place looks good on the outside, but the rooms are absolutely disgusting! First we accidentally booked a smoking room when we made the reservations online and they would not change it when we checked in and realized our mistake, but that wasn’t even the bad part. The room was appalling. There was dirt, dust, crust and hair all throughout the room. It was obvious that a vacuum was not passed over the rug and surfaces weren’t even wiped down. We started to clean up ourselves and stopped as we noticed all the areas that needed to be cleaned. Eventually we called the front desk to complain and they sent someone up who actually did some cleaning, but the front desk refused to give us the name for the head of housekeeping. Apparently it is well known that the rooms are not cleaned properly and “the head” is friendly with the housekeeping staff and does not get on them about cleaning or lack there of. Do not stay here as expensive as it is, pay for another hotel like the HardRock, Oceans, or Resorts. Avoid Caesar’s AC hotel at all costs. If I could give negative stars I would.

It's been a while since I stayed at this gem . It's classy and not over the top.the lobby is elegant with the cesars statues. Now this casino is a survivor ! The nearby trump hotel and casino no longer exist which was a favorite of mine and another favorite was the show boat which I believe no longer has a casino . The hells kitchen restaurant I spent two of my birthdays at was great. There is also the ceasars casino online game .I play this game nearly every day on Facebook. And with the new toga awards there are some stuff you can purchase with credits that's good. Now some of my complaints with the casinos has been the lack of birthday comps which I used to receive from this casino and many others on the board walk .I won't lump ceasars with them because I have not ask lately.
DWAYNE W — Google review
Honestly very disappointing. Stayed on a Friday night in early October. The hard rock and borgata were both sold out so we decided to try ceasers palace. The ceasers in las vegas is very nice and this is not at all up to that standard. The rooms smelled like cigarette smoke covered with very heavy perfume. other than the smell the room was fine and seemed clean .Elevators smelt damp, and moldy. There were water leaking from the ceiling in alot of areas around the casino. Most of the slot machines were very old and the drinks were extremely slow (even when tipping well). Had a slot machine steal our ticket and took OVER 45 MINUTES to get anyone to help us. Had to repeatedly ask staff members who just informed me that it would "take a while" luckily was able to finally flag someone down to help. Most of the staff members I interacted with had a idgaf attitude but not all of them. There were some really good staff members who seems like the actually cared and were polite but not many. Food options: extremely limited, over priced or close really early. The location isn't the best in my opinion (only because all the other casino/hotels are a far walk away.) I stayed at the hard rock 2 weekends ago and I would highly recommend staying there instrad. Cheaper, more updated, friendlier staff, better slots and casino vibes.
Sean M — Google review
We enjoyed our stay and overall had a pleasant experience. The hotel is in a great location with plenty of dining options, shops, and of course the casino all within walking distance. A couple of downsides — our room only faced the main hallway, so there was no natural light, and the pool was a letdown. The website listed it as available, but it came with extra charges ($20 for bar seating or $80 for a lounge chair per person, per day), and the pool itself was tiny — really only fitting about 5–6 people. Still, for a short getaway, it’s a decent spot.

They have a balcony and seats inside where you can look out to see the ocean. No soup or salad is included you must purchase those separately. We will definitely recommend this restaurant in Resorts Casino in AC.

This place was wonderful. We sat outside with a great view of the beach. The service was top notch! The food was delicious, as were the cocktails! The dessert wasn’t great but everything else was fantastic! I Highly recommend this restaurant if you’re down by Resorts or Ocean casinos!

My boyfriend and I came here the other day. Although we had a miscommunication and almost ended up leaving, the staff really made sure we were taken care of. Thank you so much Steve and staff for a wonderful experience. The food was phenomenal, they even accommodated him by making something that wasn't on the menu and he is STILL talking about how good it was. We will definitely be back 💜

This is for the Happy Hour upfront at Cielo Wine Bar which is the bar area at the front of Capriccio Restaurant (which is big.) Great Happy Hour cocktail deals at $8 each . I got the Lavender Margarita which was pretty and tasty. And the Prosecco Mojito which was really refreshing though not that strong. My friend had the Espresso Martini which he really liked and said it was smooth (and it comes In a frosted glass .) He also had the Manhattan which was a serious drink . Very strong. From the bites menu we got the Fries and the Grilled Focaccia both of which were $7 i believe. They were fantastic. Great flavor on the Fries by themselves though i asked for ketchup and the Grilled Focaccia comes with a warm marinara sauce to dip in .Light crispy and tasty and we liked this so much we got a 2nd order .I also got the Langosta which is tasty ravioli with a blush sauce and some lobster for $14 . Get this .Happy Hour plates are a bit smaller but get a couple of them each and it's a light meal ( which it was for us on our first night in Resorts . ) This is on the Dining level floor and you have to take an elevator to get there . Also we got there a little before 5 on Sunday and there was no problem getting a seat at the bar (since HH is only available in the bar area or the hightops .) My friend also got the Tuna on Crispy Rice bites , which aren't big but he liked that . I would say get the ravioli. The bartender and other staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Definitely check out this great spot for Happy Hour specials.

We went here for my sister's birthday dinner. I booked a reservation since we didn't want to wait til a table is open. The interior is beautiful. The bread was very good. As well as the food was very delicious and we have a great time. The waiter was extremely funny and made it a pleasant experience.

Friday night in Atlantic City and the last place we wanted to eat was a casino. After a little research, we decided on Capriccio. Wow...we were in heaven. Paid parking (is there ANY free parking in anotherwise dead AC?) The shades are down, which initially made us think not-open. The reviews were so excellent that we trudged over anyhow, and glad we did. Superior service. The BEST food - and as italian as can be. You will not be disappointed.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Our waiter Bryan was absolutely amazing! Friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. He checked in with us at just the right times without ever being overbearing, and his recommendations were spot on. It really made the whole dining experience so enjoyable. He had a great personality and was very personable. Definitely one of the best servers I’ve had in a long time!

With its sleek art deco design and 1920s theme, the hotel exudes a unique charm that transports visitors to a bygone era.
Resorts AC has nice rooms and available tables at the casino. It's an old crowd but definitely not and old hotel. Restaurants are very good and it's on the boardwalk with a short walk to other BW hotels. Rooms are very affordable and clean. I'd stay here again and look for rooms here over others for the price. We had a great stay.

My friend stayed overnight two nights and seemed happy with her accommodations. I came down to take her to dinner and gamble. Winter hours promotions very disappointing. 7:00pm on the dot they close. I made it the first night to get cards, was hoping to get match for my players card from another casino, yes but had to earn 85pts first and come back another day for match. Unfortunately arrived at 7pm the next night. They were leaving told come back yet another night. I asked games manager James who really did wish to help for a host, no host on call available. I’ve played many Casinos in many states in this country and in others and on cruises so I feel my opinion carries weight. Resorts fall short. Maybe 9pm would be more reasonable or keep early hours but have one host available till 2:00am to service your players. It is a Casino, isn’t?

Checked in and made the trek to my room. Key didn’t work. Went all the way back down to desk and given another room. We originally reserved a roll in shower room (ADA) but ended up with a huge tub. We were not going back down to change rooms again. Thankful shower had a handle mode. Upon showering we noticed mold on shower curtain. Room needed a good cleaning!! Plus a blanket on bed. Additionally there’s NO table top to place things on in the bathroom. Accessible room. Location was great. Can go right over to hard rock through walkway. Boo bar was very festive. Workers were nice.

I recently stayed at Resorts Casino Hotel in Atlantic City from October 31 to November 1, and it was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I’ve ever had. When my friends and I returned to our room early Saturday morning, we found a pair of men’s boxers in our bathroom that did not belong to anyone in our group. The bathroom itself didn’t appear to have been properly cleaned before our arrival, which was already unsettling. When I brought this up to the housekeeping manager at checkout, her response was shockingly unprofessional. Instead of apologizing or showing any concern, she told me, “You get what you pay for,” and suggested I should have reported it sooner. That comment alone was unacceptable and showed a total lack of care for guests. I later contacted hotel management directly, and while they did respond, their solution was to offer a $40 food credit, later increased to $50, for a future visit. Considering the seriousness of the hygiene issue and the staff’s attitude, that gesture felt dismissive. I also called the hotel before booking to confirm that our room with two beds could accommodate three guests, and a staff member told me, “We don’t count people.” Yet, when I followed up, management tried to justify their limited compensation by claiming we didn’t pay for a third guest — which contradicts their own staff’s instructions. Every attempt to resolve this situation has been met with excuses instead of accountability. What could have been a simple apology and fair resolution turned into a frustrating back-and-forth that left me feeling dismissed, unheard, and frankly, disgusted by the lack of professionalism. I will not be returning to this hotel, and I strongly encourage upper management or HR to review how this case was handled. Guests deserve better than being lied to, blamed, and brushed off after raising a valid concern about hygiene and staff behavior

⭐⭐☆☆☆ “Seagull 10/10, Room 2/10” My recent stay at Resorts Casino in Atlantic City was… well, let’s just say the seagull outside my window had a better experience than I did. Let’s start with the positives: The view was great. The seagull was adorable. Feeding said seagull from my window was genuinely the highlight of the trip. Now for the rest: The room was dated, dirty, and smelled like it had a long history. There were multiple water stains on the ceiling, a mysterious tube dripping some kind of liquid down my window, and a general “we stopped caring years ago” vibe. We were given a handicapped-accessible room (which we didn’t request), and it really didn’t work for our needs. The closet light didn’t work, there were barely any outlets (apparently we’re supposed to charge all our devices one at a time?), and the TV wasn’t even smart — just old-school cable. The bathroom had no vanity, so we had to get creative and use the ironing board as a makeshift counter for our toiletries. Overall, the room felt neglected — like it was once beautiful in the 1980s and just never recovered. If you want a good laugh, book a stay for the view, bring your own extension cord, and prepare to bond with the local seagulls. Otherwise… maybe look elsewhere unless “vintage disappointment” is your thing.

Mediocre at best. The moment you walk in you're practically gassed with cigarette smoke. I literally had chest pain making my way to the check in. 🚬 It was sooo bad. The entire hotel smells like grandma's house and ash trays. Even the non-smoking floors. It's just so unpleasant to the point of sickening. They desperately need to improve the ventaltion and update the rooms and carpeting. There were gnats in the toilet and though out the room. The bedding didn't smell fresh. We had a one night stay so no point to complain. The staff were friendly but I would not book here again but if you're on a budget and don't mind the smell of smoke this is your place. 🥴

Diner
Johnny Rockets is an international chain that offers a retro dining experience reminiscent of 1950s diners. The themed restaurant serves classic American favorites such as hamburgers, hot dogs, and Philly cheese steaks, along with French fries, salads, milkshakes, malts, and super floats. The ambiance features toe-tapping music and swirly straws to complete the 50s-diner feel. Additionally, they offer special Rocket Kids Meals that are popular with children.
It is a nice place to go to after a long day. You have service that is nice and even funny with the little thing they gave us in the image. The place is also quite fast with delivering the food, I've been to other places that don't even have that many people, but are still way slower than this place was. Overall, the food was great! I ate absolutely everything and had no problems whatsoever. Definitely would recommend.
Myron E — Google review
The food here was decent, but a few things missed the mark. The burger, which I ordered medium, came out well done, which took away some of the juiciness. The fries were disappointingly scarce.. I definitely could have used more on the plate. On the bright side, the shake was absolutely amazing, thick, creamy, and full of flavor. The service was efficient, and the food arrived in good time, which was a plus. Overall, it was an okay experience, but with a few small tweaks, it could have been much better.
Takyashilah S — Google review
Burgers were dry and not hot off of the flat top. Service was fast so it’s not like they sat waiting for pick up. Onion rings and fries were average at best. Milkshakes were no better than any fast food restaurant. Bill was $56 for two doubles, two milkshakes , fries and onion rings. The restaurant wasn’t very clean nor was it vibrant. Seems like it needs a refresh. Not going back anytime soon.

Stopped here for dinner on our vacation and was extremely impressed. The prices were decent! Under $30 including tip for two people. It was my girlfriend’s birthday and they gave her a free sundae! That was also really good. I got a burger and fries, she got a wrap. Both were good portions and delicious! I ate that burger so quick it was freakin incredible. Service was awesome, the waiter was so nice! Definitely a family friendly location. Will definitely be stopping here more than once when we visit next year!!
Jamie U — Google review
My friends and I came here for dinner on the second night of our visit. I frequented one of these establishments a lot in my childhood, so we were excited to revisit the burgers we grew up with! The overall experience was okay, with some room for improvement. I think the experience was limited because they were short staffed, but I will get into that later. We ordered our food and were clear about the order. We wanted bacon cheese fries for the table as an appetizer along with drinks, and we wanted our burgers with a side of fries served after that as main courses. This was broken down so that the order of our meal made sense, however this was completely botched. We were served our side of fries, and bacon cheese fries before we got our drinks. I do not want to see my plain side of fries unless it is served next to my burger. I did not want to PAY for a separate side of fries either, but that is beside the point. Since I was, I expected it to come out in the order we requested. We were thinking what is going on here because we did not even receive our drinks yet? I sat in front of these hot fries for over ten minutes as they cooled down before I had to flag down the server to get us our drinks we already ordered. Our server was running around left and right as if he was working out, so out of respect I am going to leave his name out of this because it is not fully his fault. You may be thinking why did you not ask for the drinks when the fries came? This is because a different worker served us our fries and we felt weird asking him for the drinks. As a customer, I am not eating french fries without my drink and I want to see my appetizer FIRST, before my main courses. This brings me to my next con, just throw the fries in there with a burger meal. I understand this is a vacation spot and things will be a little more expensive, but their serving of fries is not that big and the restaurant would not lose a ton of money adding this to a meal deal; might even bring in more customers. I would understand if this place served a mountain of fries like 5 guys, but this was a normal puddle size. The portion was not BAD, but it screams “include me with the burger this cost is very little”. I did enjoy the burger even though it was cooked a little above my liking, that said it did the job. We ordered them medium, but figured at a place like this they all come out the same way. This place also gives free soda refills which we greatly appreciated. Given the amount of time we waited for our drinks, this plus came in clutch. We enjoyed our food, but the experience was a little bit weird because of the delays and missteps. Not sure if I would come back as the boardwalk is filled with a ton of spots, but not a bad choice if you are craving burgers. One suggestion is to not have just one server do too much. It was clear this guy was all over the place and as I said before, not entirely his fault. This might be a better takeout experience, but if you are around and want to sit down for a burger you may need to wait a little bit.

Walked from the Tropicana hotel and waited several minutes by the place order window with zero acknowledgement from staff even though multiple employees saw me (especially the male cashier who seemed to make a point of ignoring me) and I was the only one in line. Left and gave my business to anyone else

The waiter is rude , moves very fast, Skippy should be skipped, I had to ask the manager to get my togarashi seasoning for my fries , they didnt have lobster bau buns .He spilled water on my 2000 dollar purse, then gave me the chemical table wipes to use for my hands. It used to very nice here. I will never dine here again. The silverware is filthy. I feel rushed . Very put off . The food is swimming in oil, no flavor. Awful experience all together. Eastwind is a Chinese American restaurant located in the Resorts hotel and casino. It has potential and just knowing the area of Atlantic City, it’s not really for the foodies for the few times I’ve been. But this place is quick it’s easy and straight forward. It’s going to get you full, and satisfied I believe but don’t expect any extravagant dishes you haven’t seen before from your down the block Chinese spot. Anyways, everything is served family style so if you’re into sharing that’s on you! Every main dish can be served for 2-4 people depending on how much you want to consume! It’s rightfully portion but I still feel prices are a little steep for what it is. On the other hand, get the beef chow fun I recommend the general Tso chicken and the fried rice! And I always get a hot sake to keep it going.

A decent restaurant inside a casino which serves fare Chinese food. Simple and straight menu. We ordered chicken pad thai & shrimp fried rice. The portions are really huge can be shared between 2-3 depending how hungry you are. The food was good & had lot of meat. Though service can be improved was a bit slow. Overall it was fare deal.

Absolutely DELICIOUS food and BEAUTIFUL ambiance in a small, intimate, warm setting!! The service was swift, polite, and immersive. The appetizers were a little pricy but well worth it in taste though portioning is smaller than I would like, but we could share amongst the 4 of us. I ordered a carafe of sake at an impressive and super affordable $8. The presentation was gorgeous!! The plating was gorgeous, clean, and picture worthy!

Back Bay Ale House is a cozy bar and restaurant located in Gardners Basin, Atlantic City. It's a hidden gem known to locals for its laid-back atmosphere and stunning views of the back bay and marina-area casinos. The indoor/outdoor space exudes a fun Key West vibe, offering mason jar drinks and a full pub menu. With almost 20 years of outdoor dining experience, it's a favorite spot for seafood specials and an impressive selection of beers.
We were waiting for a table but ended up sitting and dining at the inside bar. I want to start out by saying that the bar staff is WONDERFUL. So attentive and fun to chat with. Down to earth. The food was great and the drinks were better. Had a fun time with the “sundown shot” and enjoyed it enough to ask them to make it into a drink. So unfortunately I don’t know what to ask for next time, but I really enjoyed it! My first drink was a raspberry mojito and that was FANTASTIC. Cheers to Back Bay Ale House for a fun filled dining experience at their indoor bar 😊😊😊

The food and vibes were excellent here! We came here for dinner as a group of 9, and though they technically are able to accommodate large groups, we weren't seated until at least 40 minutes after requesting a table (they initially estimated 20 minutes). Additionally, food came out very slow and scattered. But the dishes were excellent and we didn't have any trouble once the food arrived! The atmosphere was also fantastic as we were out by the water and were able to watch the sun set as we dined. The photos in this post are not all the dishes, but I feel personally that the Seafood Sampler Platter could have had a little more on the plate. For the price that it was, I was expecting a little more. But it tasted great regardless. And the cucumber salad on the side was delicious! Would love to come back here another time, but with a much smaller group!

I love this place. I've been here a couple of times and sat at the bar. The last time I was here I just had gotten off of the Atlantic City Cruise Line Dolphin tour. I found a seat at the bar. The bartenders are very nice and give great service. I ordered a burger and it came out exactly how I asked it to be prepared. Something about being near the water just makes me feel so much more relaxed and this cute spot is right next to the water period and you can see the boats coming in and out as you enjoy your food and beverage.

Whether it’s their perfectly seasoned gyros, burguers or pancakes, every bite is a flavor explosion! And the best part? The prices are as friendly as the staff. My experience is limited and also was my first time, but I can say without a doubt that I was served one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've ever had in my life. A smoked sausage, egg and cheese on an English Muffin and a coffee. Amazing. I wish I had brought two. I was the only one in there and ordered to take out, but the staff was friendly, engaging and made sure I was good to go. The next time I will eat in and try other offerings, but this is now my official breakfast sandwich spot if I'm staying at Caesars (or Trop with a little further walk). Can't wait. And they serve liquor to go too. PLUS!

Was looking for a restaurant that could fulfill my desire for breakfast & my husband's desire for seafood. My breakfast consisted of French toast, turkey bacon, and eggs with cheese. My husband got the ultimate seafood platter. I LOVED all aspects of my food. I tasted his fried fish and thought it was good. He felt that his meal was okay.....rated 3/5. Looking at the menu makes me want to return to try other options. Was taken off by the paper plates, but the good food made me not care as much.

A friend recommended this place. I wasn't impressed. I don't like Gyro's but he loved it and ordered extra white sauce to go on it. I got a burger. Not the best burgers. I can't really say I enjoyed my visit. It was right on the boardwalk. I think the place has been around for a long time and people just go to see all the dollar bills taped all over the walls and chairs

Perry's Cafe & Deli is a family-run diner located on Pacific Ave. They are open every day from 7AM - 3PM. After looking over the menu, I found myself torn between breakfast and lunch. There were so many tempting options to choose from! I went with the 7 oz sirloin steak and eggs. It was decent, but nothing special. The steak was cooked medium instead of medium rare, and it lacked seasoning. My friend ordered the hot jumbo biscuit with homemade sausage gravy and the pastrami Reuben, both excellent picks. The gravy was some of the best I've had, and the pastrami on the Reuben was tender and full of flavor. Our server may not have been the most personable, but she was prompt and made sure we were well taken care of. Pickup and delivery are both available.

Perry’s Café is a true Atlantic City gem! I had the crab omelette and scrapple, and it was one of the best breakfasts I’ve had in a long time. The omelette was fluffy, loaded with fresh crab, and seasoned perfectly—every bite was delicious. The scrapple was cooked just right, crispy on the outside and tender inside, exactly how it should be. The service was fast and friendly, and the atmosphere had that classic, cozy diner feel that makes you feel right at home. It’s the kind of place you want to come back to again and again. If you’re in Atlantic City and looking for a hearty, flavorful breakfast, Perry’s Café is the spot. Five stars all the way!

Restaurant
Nestled on a tranquil side street away from the hustle of Bloomfield Avenue, Angeloni's Club Madrid is a delightful homage to classic Italian dining. This charming establishment, inspired by the original Club Madrid from the 1920s in Philadelphia, boasts an inviting atmosphere reminiscent of 1980s lounges. With its vintage tile decor and unique ceiling made from repurposed casino globes, it feels like stepping into a nostalgic time capsule.
What an amazing experience! This place was like walking into a time capsule. The staff, the food, the atmosphere was such a wonderful experience. The whipped ricotta was one of the best I’ve ever had. Seafood specials dish was nothing less than a feast for royalty, fresh, tasty and delicious. Raviolis were seasonally delectable and so was my sisters pasta. This place is a true gem to Atlantic City and I will certainly be back. Oh! The cocktails were all delicious and the house wine was perfect for the table. I believe the GM here greeted us at the end of the night and gifted us tiramisu 100/10 I HIGHLY recommend 😌

Everything was amazing. Cannot wait to go back! It was everything I hoped it would be. Moody, delicious. The staff was except and so accommodating. The whole place is so romantic and dark. We loved it so much. We had clams casinos and calamari for starters Then I had the 8oz cacio e Pepe and my husband had the steak with potatoes and creamed spinach. That was the best creamed spinach I've here had in my life. And I never thought I would say that.

Vibes are immaculate! Also, great Italian food well prepared along with creative appetizers and very attentive service. Very well decorated and Instagram worthy. Worth a visit whenever you are in AC… don’t forget to try a cocktail or three from their unique selection.

My first time in Atlantic City and I really thought there’s no way I ever need to come to this town again for anything except then we came here to Angelonis and now I must come back. The atmosphere is my favorite of any eatery ever- the vibe the decor the mirror ceilings, the lighting is perfect, the records and the velvet and the powdered soap.. all of it! The drink menu was lovely, I had the girl dinner complete with gummy worms. The food was literally the best Italian I’ve ever had. The sauce on the eggplant is something I will not soon forget- so fresh and flavorful and I will come back to Atlantic City for that alone. The mozzarella-OMG. The chicken cutlet hell yes. The meatballs oh yea. That pesto with pistachio I stuffed my face I’m telling you it was so good. This is a must visit type of place and I’ll tell everyone I know about it anytime AC comes up in conversation.

A Late-Night Gem with Retro Vibes & Unforgettable Flavors! My partner and I stumbled upon this place during a late-night craving in Atlantic City, and wow—I’m obsessed. From the moment we walked in around 10:30 PM on a Saturday, the retro 70s/80s decor & music transported us to another era. The vibe was electric, thanks to a DJ spinning throwback tunes that matched the aesthetic perfectly. We started with drinks, and I was thrilled they could craft a -passionfruit martini &mocktail*—it was divine, served with a cute little shooter of Sprite (such a classy touch!). For appetizers, the crabcake (with butter and arugula) and meatballs were both delicious, but the real star was the rib tip pappardelle. The beef was melt-in-your-mouth tender, the homemade noodles were perfection, and the rich sauce had us savoring every bite. We took tiramisu to go, and it might be the best I’ve had in years. Shoutout to our server, who was an absolute doll—attentive, warm, and added to the fantastic experience. This place is nostalgic, fun, and serves food worth raving about. We also got two beautiful post cards to take home when the check came. If I could teleport this restaurant to my hometown, I would. 10/10—will be telling everyone to go!

Not only was the food and atmosphere absolutely amazing, but the staff went above and beyond when our reservation didn’t actually go through. They accommodated us right away with warmth and professionalism, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Great service on top of a wonderful meal—I’ll definitely be back!

Stopped at this place on a whim last weekend and it was so awesome. Walking in is like stepping back into some swanky 1970s bar. The decor 10/10. The bartender was friendly and offered suggestions as well as answered questions we had about the drinks. I started off with a hibiscus margarita. Very floral, very tasty. We ordered the little bit of everything tapas, a fun little mix of things to nibble on including warm olives, chicharones, and pub cheese. My friend and I also split 5 clams casino---I would skip these, just too small for my taste but everything in genera was awesome. I finished off with the Kathy Burke, a cocktail made from housemade vodka. It's got hints of salami, cherry peppers, vinegar. Sounds weird, tastes good. Don't miss this place it was awesome.

Stop lying this is some of the worst food I’ve ever had. At least it was consistently bad from start to finish. It’s a shame this place really has a good location . I thought the motif is cool but damn the food is bad. Spaghetti with chicken UGH crispy eggplant Malians?.. ok ish Warm olive was ok but the pickle veggies were weak and the focaccia with famous Madrid sauce? Food is terrible

Applebee's Grill + Bar is a casual dining spot offering hearty American cuisine in a relaxed environment. Situated in a tourist area with visible police presence, it provides a safe and convenient dining option. Visitors can also explore nearby attractions like Bass Pro Shops for outdoor gear. The restaurant boasts great service and an energetic atmosphere, although some patrons have experienced inconsistencies in steak temperatures.
Stopped in before heading to the Mary j Blige concert. This was a great experience. I’ve been to many Applebees but this one is AC has to be the best one thus far. Our Bar tender Rich P was awesome. The place was packed but Rich made sure everyone was attended to. We had the Happy Hour Margarita and Hot Honey Boneless wings. 10/10. Thanks Rich P for making us feel at home. We appreciate good service. I would give it 20 stars if I could!!!!

Lovely place in AC to chill and eat. Plenty of seating options. Service is prompt and mail meal sizes are decent. Try the steaks, they are at juicy and tasty. Pastas are great too. Much better food offering compared to what’s available at the boardwalk. 4 stars, will be back again soon.

This American restaurant really impressed me. The burger was delicious – juicy meat, fresh ingredients, and a perfectly baked bun made it a real treat. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, which made the visit even more enjoyable. It’s no surprise that the place is so popular – it attracts a lot of people. If you’re looking for great American food in a pleasant atmosphere, this spot is definitely worth a visit!

I had such a great experience at Applebee’s thanks to Shanna! She was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. My drink was always full, my food came out hot and delicious, and she checked in just the right amount without being overbearing. It’s rare to get service this genuine and welcoming these days — Shanna really made my visit feel special. I’ll definitely be coming back and asking for her again. Highly recommend Applebee’s if you’re lucky enough to have Shanna as your server! 🍎🍔🍹

had an amazing dining experience at Applebee’s thanks to Shanna! From the moment we were seated, she greeted us with a warm smile and positive energy that instantly made us feel welcome. She was incredibly attentive, making sure our drinks stayed full and that everything arrived just the way we ordered. The food was fresh, flavorful, and served hot — but what truly stood out was Shanna’s genuine care and professionalism. She checked in at the perfect times, offered great menu suggestions, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed. It’s rare to find service this exceptional. Shanna turned an ordinary dinner into a memorable experience, and I’ll definitely be returning to Applebee’s because of her! Highly recommend asking for Shanna if you want top-notch service and a great dining atmosphere. 🍽️👏

The food here is decent. I loved the mashed potatoes. I wanted my steak well done which part of it was and another part definitely was not. The wings were not good and the drinks are very watered down but decent. It’s Applebees so I didn’t expected amazing food. There is also no Broocoli for the next few months which was a complete bummer for me and my man. My waitress also didn’t mention the half off appetizers even though we came in after 9pm. Lucky on the app when you sign up you get a free app so I used it. It was a decent experience

Sack O' Subs is a beloved family-owned establishment that has become a staple in the Atlantic City area, known for its delicious array of both hot and cold submarine sandwiches, as well as fresh salads. This local gem prides itself on using high-quality ingredients to create generous portions that leave customers satisfied. Many patrons appreciate the friendly service and efficient atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for a quick bite or casual dining experience.
I haven’t been to Atlantic City in years and forgot that February was the “off-season”, and many places were closed for the season. I was searching for a deli, and found this place empty over Presidents’ Day weekend. There were two young ladies working… We asked them if we were in the “right place”? They assured us that we were, and asked us what we wished to order. We decided to dine in. The lentil soup was amazing and the cold sandwiches were overflowing with meat… I was directed to a fountain drink as they offered refills. We couldn’t finish our food and took enough home for two more meals.

We're happy to have Sacko's back! The remodel looks great. Nice new menu that includes dinner items. Sandwich was excellent, spaghetti and meatballs were decent. The 4 stars is because we requested onion rings with our order at least 3 times and when we got home we didn't have them. We didn't pay for them but we were extremely disappointed. With that small hiccup, they are worth the trip.

My favorite place for hoagies, just don’t get it when you spend $12.00 for a sandwich you get hot peppers free but $1.00 for five slices of a pickle!! They should give you at least one tiny container free and maybe charge $.25 or $.50 each after, just saying!!!!

This place was pretty good. Bread tasted fresh and we tried a few different kinds. Nothing really stood out, but it's great for a beach side sandwich shop! We would order from here again

Sack O KNOWS how to make delicious subs, hoagies, chicken tenders and fries. The bread they use for the subs and hoagies is just perfect with any menu selection. I love the variety of vegetarian choices on their menu. I had their grilled roast pepper & portobello mushroom sub as well as their vegetarian sub with broccoli, spinach, roasted peppers & mushrooms. They will cater to ingredients you want to add or remove (in my case cheese and onions). The food is excellent and so satisfying every time I’ve eaten there with the family.

The only thing that was good from this place was the bread. The lunchmeat was sliced to thick and my daughter got an upset stomach after eating half her tuna hoagie.

Kuro is a Japanese restaurant in Atlantic City that serves up some of the best food in the city. The menu perfectly balances the flavors of Japan, and the service is wonderful. If you're looking for an awesome dining experience, Kuro is definitely worth checking out.
My boyfriend took me here for my birthday, and I have to say I had the best experience. Katrina was our server, and she went above and beyond all expectations. She was kind, funny, charismatic and just an overall joy. The sushi was incredible, the crispy tuna was almost to die for, and the drinks were.... amazing. Like wow, my least favorite thing is when a high end restaurant tries to label something that tastes like rubbing alcohol as liquor, this place... does the exact opposite. The peach orange blossom, was really killer. The open style of the kitchen was really awesome too. I cancelled my dinner reservations for next week at another restaurant and plan on coming back here! Thank you Kuro!

We had an absolutely AMAZING time. From the beginning to the very end everything was perfect. Tommy was our server. He was cheerful, energetic and was very attentive. The manager, Sam, came over and made sure everything was to our liking, which of course it was. The sushi chef, Desmond, sent out an amazing variety of things to try. Everything was beautiful. The attention to detail, the atmosphere. All of it made a memorable dining experience. We cant wait to come back! Thank you Tommy!

I had an incredible dining experience at Kuro Sushi inside the Hard Rock Casino in Atlantic City! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was elegant yet inviting — the perfect mix of modern sophistication and warm hospitality. The food was exceptional — every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with fresh, authentic flavor. The sushi was some of the best I’ve ever had, and the attention to detail in each roll showed true craftsmanship. A huge shoutout to Sean and Simei, our servers, who made the night unforgettable. They were friendly, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. Their timing, recommendations, and professionalism took our dining experience to the next level. They truly made us feel like valued guests.

Kuro exceeded all expectations! From start to finish, the meal was fantastic. The lobster dumplings are an absolute must-try, bursting with flavor. The wagyu donburi was outstanding—my new go-to comfort dish. We ended with the matcha cheesecake brownie, which was the perfect sweet finish. Service was quick, and our server Lauren offered spot-on recommendations. 10/10—can’t wait to return!

I must admit, I didnt go for the food but in search of a specialty drink made, or so I heard. A wagyu reduced tallow infused old fashioned. My friends and I were on a quest. After some inquires we were asked to visit Kuro. There is small bar in the back, barely. In the midst of kitchen action we met the wizard of concoctions named Alexis. This was the first time I was thanked for asking for a drink. The fashioned he said would take an hour to prepare. In that hour we were treated like friends visiting him at work. Alexis prepared and created cocktails for us. He showed us a color changing exlir. He explained the science of his magic and what preparations were involved in his creations. We were captivated by his enthusiasm and skills. And lastly, we were delighted by the old fashioned. Thank you Hard Rock. Thank you Kuro. Thank you Alexis. It's was a beautiful and unique expirence my friends and I will not soon forget. We will be back for the food of course. Kanpai!

Unfortunately this was one of the worst meals I have had in quite some time. The whole dining experience was mediocre and frankly disappointing. The nigiri all tasted the same— salmon, tuna, and yellowtail should all taste different but if I was blindfolded I could not have told them apart. The sushi rolls were underwhelming in flavor and small in size. Drinks were just average. The spicy edamame was the only good item we ordered. Given the price tag, the portions were abysmal. It felt like a knife in the back to pay $300+ for this not-so-luxury dining experience when we could have just gone to a local family run sushi joint and gotten significantly better rolls.

This was our second time here. We are very impressed. The service was good and the food was great. We ordered the Wagyu tacos, which are a must. They are small, but they are definitely worth it. The Seabass was the best Seabass I’ve ever had. My husband, love the mushroom and rice with an egg on top. He said it was great. The beef skewers were also very good as well. The only thing that we weren’t too much of a fan of was the chicken appetizer, the chicken was a weird texture. Lastly, the chicken dumplings and the sushi were very good as well
Kerri W — Google review
We had an incredible dinner at Kuro inside the Hard Rock in Atlantic City. From start to finish, everything was outstanding. We sat at the sushi bar, which I highly recommend—watching the chefs work added so much to the experience. Our server, Eric, was amazing—friendly, professional, and gave excellent recommendations. He made us feel truly taken care of. The Lobster Dumplings were absolutely phenomenal—tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. One of the best dishes I've ever had. To top it off, the sushi chef surprised us with a special, off-menu bite: crispy rice topped with tenderloin. It was a perfect mix of texture and flavor—crunchy, savory, and unforgettable. Kuro is a must-visit spot in Atlantic City. Incredible food, top-tier service, and a great atmosphere. Can’t wait to return!

Tony Luke's is a fast-casual sandwich franchise that specializes in serving Philadelphia-style cheesesteaks and various other types of subs. Along with burgers and fries, they offer counter-service to customers. Located at the Tropicana showroom, this eatery was visited after an R.O.C event. The wings pleasantly surprised patrons, as they were prepared exactly to their liking without even needing to request a crispy skin.
Great location next to boardwalk and you can have unexpected friends as well but food delicious and service was quick and professional.

Made stop here after R.O.C. event at the Tropicana showroom. I was surprised by the wings. They were made just the way I prefer, and I didn't even ask to have them to make the skin crunchy. The cheesesteak and fries were good also, and I would definitely go back. 👍
Eric P — Google review
Tony Luke’s hours are never accurate on their website or the Tropicana website. They’re rarely open late at all. I went on a Friday and they were closed by 10. When I did make it when they were open the workers were incredibly rude. One guy belittled the cashier multiple times in a five minute span who was clearly trying his best. Sad service.

If I could give 0 stars, I definitely would. Monday night I grabbed a plain cheesesteak, just cheese and meat, and chicken tenders and fries for my little one about 45 minutes to sunset. I waited about 40 minutes for my order when there was no one else waiting. When I got my order, the cheesesteak had absolutely no flavor other than a dirty flat top and the meat was cook to the point where it was just considerer to be cook. It was absolutely disgusting and I will NEVER be returning to any Tony Luke's. Another note is while I was waiting for my order, 4 or 5 people came up to order but the order taker was too busy on his phone so they walked away.

We ordered a pizza & Cheese steak Broccoli montbello from the Tropicana location. What supposed to be broccoli look like spinach; did not taste anything like broccoli. When taken back to address the issue they wanted to argue the vegetables instead of acknowledging and taking accountability to their mistake. I would say just get a basic cheesesteak if you want to get exactly what you order. Side note the pizza was delicious.

Not a very good experience for a Labor Day afternoon lunch while walking the boardwalk. Garbage overflowing, garbage all over the floor, homeless sleeping on one of the tables, and of all iconic things to order on the menu, they did not have roast pork sandwiches which is exactly why we walked there.

This place is a joke. It's completely unorganized. The staff is ridiculous. More importantly the cheesesteaks are tough, soggy and awful. I have to say the roast pork wasn't too bad but it was cold.

The bang bang shrimp was super addictive!!! It’s a hole-in-the-wall/dive bar feel. Food is mainly bar food. They were out of scallops when we went on a Saturday which was disappointing. I had the boneless wings which were okay. There are quite a few sauce options to choose from. We also got the onion rings in Jack Daniels bbq sauce. Sauce was a little too sweet. Beer was cheap. Overall, a fun and good value for a quick bite and a drink.

It's a good place to watch the game whatever team you're rooting for. The staff is friendly & they even had a free basket of cheer raffle. We had the She-Crab Soup & Wings. They serve the whole wings so when you buy 13 you're getting 26. The soup was creamy & hot but the Beer could be colder.

Seafood market
Lunch restaurant
Barbera Seafood Market is a popular seafood market that offers fresh, quality seafood at an affordable price. It's perfect for anyone looking for a quick meal or something special to take home.
This place was recommended to me by co-workers so I decided to give it a try for lunch today. I ordered the Sea Bass sandwich with tartar sauce and hush puppies on the side. My total was $7 and change. I sat down and picked up the sandwich once, and it never hit the table again. The fish was so flaky and tender and fresh, and the tartar sauce tasted homemade, all on a brioche bun. I had to order another one to-go, for dinner. It's a literal entire piece of fish, cut in half and stacked. The prices are amazing, especially for the quality and quantity, and the employees are sweet and welcoming. Needless to say, I'll be back here every trip I make to Atlantic City from now on.

While I was in Atlantic City, New Jersey, I thought of trying their Seafood. I went to Barbera Seafood Market. I made the right choice going there. I ordered their Combo with Crab Cake, Fried Flounder, Shrimp and Scallop. The price is just right as I enjoyed their delicious Fresh Seafoods. I love Crab Cakes, so I ordered an extra on the side. So yummy.
Dana T — Google review
We came across this hidden gem while searching for fresh fried seafood in Atlantic city. I use the adjective "hidden" because the place is not located near the boardwalk, beach or other tourist attractions. It is an unimpressive looking joint selling fresh seafood - both raw and cooked - mostly to locals stopping by to grab a quick lunch. At first sight, the run-of-the-mill appearance may make you second guess whether this is an ideal place for a seafood lunch. But don't let the location and appearance fool you. The place is run by three supremely efficient, hard working, friendly and amiable individuals - Jean, Dominic and Santino. Jean, who mostly runs the front of the house operations, took our order and promptly returned with the food. Despite being on her feet continuously, she was always smiling, attentive and caring - exhibiting a warmth that makes you feel good and welcomed. The fried seafood platters we ordered were flounder, crab cakes, shrimp and smelt. Sauteed versions were also available, but we let our craving for guilty pleasures rule the roost. Each platter contained golden, crispy french fries seasoned appropriately with salt and paprika with a side of coleslaw. The flounder was beautifully cooked. Crispy on the outside, with a nice, flaky interior. My wife, who just had a crabcake appetizer at Gordon Ramsay's Hell's kitchen the night before, took a bite of the crabcake and exclaimed, "Wow, this is arguably the best crabcake I've tasted in my entire life! Berbera has beaten Hell's kitchen hands down!" Coming from an ardent Gordon Ramsay fan, such an accolade indeed means a lot. And it was well deserved - the crab cakes were not big in size, but were masterfully executed, characterized by their golden brown exteriors with the rich taste of crabmeat enthralling your tastebuds. The smelt simply blew us away. As we bit into the cruncy little battered beauties, the satisfaction was profound. The texture, the flavor, the freshness, the seasoning - everything was spot on. Pleasure swooped in. Glory ushered in. We couldn't resist ordering two more boxes of those fried beauties. For the next few minutes, none of us spoke. Only the high frequency crackling sound simultaneously emanating from four mouths prevailed. Thank you Jean, Dominic and Santino for the amazing experience! You deserve more attention, more fame, more recognition within and beyond Atlantic city.

This hidden gem on the Jersey Shore is a must-visit for foodies. We’ve been to AC countless times, and each time, we’re blown away by their exceptional fried fish sandwiches. The fried shrimp and scallops are cooked to perfection, and the food always arrives hot and delicious. The friendly staff and excellent service make it a great place to dine in. There’s a small area to sit, so we often eat there on the way in and out of AC. Despite living in a commercial fishing community with many similar restaurants, we find Barbara’s Seafood to be the best we’ve had.

An old school Italian fish market in the Ducktown section of AC, Barbera Seafood Market does not disappoint. We arrived at 2pm for a late lunch and it was quite busy. Lots of locals enjoy eating here because of the friendly hospitality and fresh fish. We enjoyed a fried scallops platter and a sautéed flounder platter. We also got a side of hush puppies. All was delicious and well priced. We took our order to go. They do have seating inside the market, but it is very small and fills up during the lunch hours. Stop by this fish market for a memorable meal next time you are in Ducktown.

Nice, family owned market. Supporting small local businesses. In the ducktown neighborhood of Atlantic City. Fresh raw and cooked seafood. Great service, the food was freshly prepared to order and it was delicious (I ordered fried and sautéed seafood combination platters). The prices were very reasonable and fair. On the Shenanigator Scale, this is definitely worth the detour if you're in the area. Parking will be difficult to find, but worth it. I will definitely be returning and a new AC favorite to frequent when I'm in the area. 5⭐

We’ve eaten here twice since our stay in AC. The seafood is fresh and delicious! We ordered the seafood combo both visits and ate there. We were delighted with the selection and quality of our food because it made to order. The staff is very friendly and so are the locals who come in for their fish sandwiches! Lastly, we met the owner and his son who were super kind and the prices you can’t beat them.

When you walk in the door your get smacked in the face with the smell of fish. So you know it’s going to be a good meal. Best 5 dollar fish sandwich in town.

Mrs. Fields is a mall-based chain known for its delicious cookies, brownies, and personalized cookie cakes. One of its locations at the Tropicana Resort and Casino offers separately packaged gluten-free chocolate chip cookies, making it a perfect spot for a late-night treat. The store is open 24/7, making it convenient for those craving a snack at any hour. Customers can also enjoy tea, coffee, fountain drinks, and ICEEs.
They're one of the only places open 24/7 which is a perfect for anyone who wants a late (or early) snack. They sell cookies, tea and coffee, fountain drinks, and ICEEs too. I had a chocolate chip cookie and boyyyy was it great! You can also use your Caesars membership card to print coupons from the kiosks and every day that I checked they had a 10% off your entire purchase at Mrs. Field's which I used twice. They even sell breakfast food which I unfortunately did not get to try because I didn't notice their sign until the very last day I was at Tropicana, but I would definitely try it on my next visit. From what I remember, the prices aren't that great for the breakfast items, but everywhere in Tropicana has inflated prices for sandwiches and things like that. At least here you can use the 10% coupon when available and there's no extra charge for using your credit card.

I inquired about buying ice cream sandwiches. 1 milk chocolate chip cookie in the display case and I was told it was only one. But then the guy behind counter remembered they made more. I bought 2. Almost 30 bucks. I thanked him and took the bags and went straight to my hotel room which is in the Tropicana. When I opened those bags I can’t describe the disappointment. Both sandwiches completely a mess. The cookies warm. Anyone with common sense knows you don’t use warm cookies to make ICE CREAM sandwiches. . What a mess.

I recently visited your store with my husband, and unfortunately, our experience was disappointing due to poor customer service. The young woman at the front, who had box braids, appeared to be having a bad day. While I was simply standing beside my husband as he made a purchase, she ignored him completely and instead turned to me with an attitude, asking, “Do you have anything to say to me?”—which came off as confrontational and unprofessional. As a fellow Black woman, it’s upsetting to witness this kind of behavior, especially knowing how hard many of us work to represent ourselves well in the workplace. This kind of conduct reflects poorly not only on the individual but also on the business as a whole. If a cashier is dealing with personal issues, they should not bring that negativity into the workplace—it affects the customer experience and risks driving away business. To make matters worse, the drink she prepared for my husband was poorly made and lacked any effort. For a popular cookie brand, I expected better. I hope management addresses this and ensures all staff are trained to deliver respectful, quality service regardless of their personal mood.

The workers in this store are horrible. Terrible customer service. Wanted 60 nibblers was told if they ran out they would have to make more so I said make more so I can get my 60. They stood there and stared at me like they did not speak English. The amount of money we spend gambling in Tropicana you would think they would hire competent workers and people that act like they don’t understand English. Tried to contact manager but was not available. Lost my business for good.

I had gone the night after weighing in for a fight and was disappointed. Chris, the manager, reached out to me to remedy the situation and I was very pleased. The staff was nice on both my visits, and the cookies were much better the next time I came back. Thank you, Chris!

The workers were laughing and being condescending. Kept asking me to repeat myself even though I was speaking loudly and clearly. Didn’t say anything just walked away after I paid.

I’ve been coming here for years & order every holiday. I’m 9months pregnant & was craving a sugar cookie, This worker was unbelievably rude, he had a note on the door “I’ll be right back” I waited by the door as he sat on his phone I was assuming he was on break , after 25 mins I knocked to ask if they’re open he looked at me and yelled very loudly WERE CLOSED stop standing there.

Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard is a popular counter-serve chain known for its delicious Italian ices and frozen custards, along with a variety of other cold treats. Located on the Atlantic City Boardwalk, this spot offers a clean and inviting atmosphere with friendly service. Visitors can expect reasonable prices and an array of amazing flavors. The quality of their products stands out, especially due to the generous shavings of fruit in their flavored ice.
I love Rita's and I love that they have this location here on the boardwalk which is great especially when you want a cold sweet treat on a hot summer day by the beach. The staff was very friendly and the service was very quick and efficient too, highly recommend!

Tried Rita's decades ago when I was here and fell in love. Then we got one in San Francisco Bay area and I was happy but it just wasnt the same. So i was happy to be back and get some authentic Rita's.

The service was really good here. I had the Gelato (blue raspberry and strawberry-watermelon with vanilla custard.) Perfect Combo and great treat to have on the boardwalk.

I went there @12 june 26 2025. Enjoy the product and the service. I decided to return the next day @4:00-4:15 and the cashier with the rag on her head was snotty to say the least. Her customer service skills are in toilet. I can only imagine her off the clock and her co-worker thought she was funny. Smh. I walked the boardwalk from Ocean Casino in the rain only to regret my efforts. They left such a nasty taste in my mouth, I couldn't enjoy my Gelati. It only takes one time for me to be over a business/ person, I definitely wont waste my time again.

Nestled in the heart of New Jersey, Brittany's Cafe is a delightful little gem that serves up classic diner-style breakfast and lunch fare in a warm and inviting atmosphere. This cozy eatery is perfect for those looking to indulge in familiar favorites like fluffy pancakes, hearty breakfast sandwiches, and an array of customizable omelets. For something special, don’t miss their unique twist on Belgian waffles—imagine them topped with cinnamon, fresh fruit, whipped cream, or even ice cream!
Brittany’s has a very mom and pop vibe, which is what we were looking for after a night out. Our server Cristina was amazing, she made sure we had everything we needed. The food came out super quick and the portion sizes were great. Prices were very reasonable compared to the breakfast places in the resorts. Definitely recommend! Note: The place is relatively small so will be a little cramped for parties of more than 4. (:

Food was average, nothing special. My potatoes were cold. Not sure I'd come back. Our waitress was in training, no problem there - she was nice but the one training her not so much. Its very loud inside (think hibachi place) the place is very small and cramped. Everyone had to keep squeezing by and bumping my chair when they walked by. There are nicer places in the area I'd return to over this one but wanted to give it a try since the reviews were decent. I can now cross it off my list.

I never expected much, but the yogurt with granola and fruit came in a bigger portion than I thought. That easily enough for two people. The omelet and potatoes were decent too. I walked in without a reservation before when I called they hung up quickly and just told me to come in so your best bet is to walk in and hope for availability!

Really good food!!! The table by the window is our favorite, outdoor seating when it’s warm up. Love the French toast and breakfast sandwiches but the chicken cheese steak is our go to!!!

This is a great little spot in Atlantic City. It is 2 blocks from the beach and the outdoor eating was nice for a cool summer morning/afternoon. The portions were worth every bite. My dish came out a little cold but it was worth the price. The service was amazing. Very attentive and accommodating. Since I wasn't a usual traveler to AC, the server answered a lot of history questions and was great with small talk. I would check it out again.

Christine was fantastic. We had a party of 7 and got sat immediately. The food was spectacular and the service was top notch. I ordered the breakfast quesadilla with hot Italian sausage and that was the best meal I had all weekend while visiting Atlantic City. 10/10 would recommend. Food was amazing, service was amazing, drinks stayed full and we could not be happier. Thank you Christine!

Our waitress was very friendly and attentive, wonderful service. I ordered the mexican omelet which was very delicious. Home fries were seasoned perfectly and the hot sauce on top made them even better. Side of bacon was nice and crispy. The toast was toasted a bit too much for my liking, but besides that all the food was cooked well. I would go back for the service alone.

Pizza restaurant
Famiglia Pizza has recently gained a new manager, Gia, who has been receiving rave reviews for her exceptional customer service. Customers have praised her for promptly rectifying any order errors and going above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. The food at Famiglia Pizza has also garnered high praise, with recommendations for the delicious Alfredo and side salad.
I visited Famous Famiglia today to order pasta with meatballs today. It was probably the worst pasta dish I had ever gotten from a pizza place before. The pasta was well over cooked to the point is was a soggy mess in the dish. The meatballs lacked any taste at all and were water logged as well, presumably from the pasta that they shared the dish with. The sauce was runny and the dish was lacked any eye appeal because the noodles were so over cooked. It is located right on the casino floor, so it is very loud there. I will say the man behind the counter was very nice and went out of his way to help me because the girl at the register appeared to be a new hire.
K. P — Google review
Pizza was overly greasy without any distinct flavor. Garlic knots were very good. Seating was available at the time but only 9 tables available total. 8$ for one slice of pizza and 4 small knots was a little steep for what you get. The wall of fame is interesting.
Brian L — Google review
I recently visited this Famous Famiglia and had a disappointing experience. While the pizza was affordable and tasted okay, the cleanliness and food safety standards were severely lacking. We ordered two pizzas, and unfortunately, someone in my party found a metal object that looked like a washer or part of a bracelet in their pizza. My friend was lucky not to break a tooth, as he discovered the object while chewing. This incident was gross and unacceptable. Given this experience, I cannot recommend this place. Skip this place for your own safety.

Unsanitary, no gloves and 1 utensil for all pizza handling. When I communicated a food allergy, they said if I didn’t like the food handling, then I should eat at home. Staff was RUDE!! Famiglia located in Resorts Casino in AC

The food is good but the customer service and courtesy is a hot mess and not to mention the cleanliness ! First of all no one at the establishment wears gloves and no hair nets ! That’s just nasty, ! The cashiers and the people in the front don’t care about u having a happy experience. The chef does not wash their hands especially the pizza chef . He literally will cross contaminate everything without washing his hands or wearing gloves in between orders. The manager (the black guy ) is a mess and he is not professional. I told him about the chef not washing his hands and he gave me a bogus narcissistic excuse saying “he got a lot of pizzas “ instead of apologizing. The one girl with the long red pony tail hair swung on the uncooked pizza dough and he still put it in the oven without trashing it . Just a horrible place I don’t care about the food tasting good that’s not enough for me . I like integrity and cleanliness !!!! Please purchase at your own risk .
Lee F — Google review
Horrible Experience!!! Purchase at your own risk!! We sat in the dinning area for about 30 minutes, watched them several times prepare pizza using meat, touching other things around the kitchen but never washed their hands! One of the ladies have a long reddish ponytail, I watched her hair fly across the uncooked pizza then the other staff member put the pizza in the oven! We couldn’t take it!!!! We went to say something about them washing their hands and the Manager said, he got a lot of pizzas, what do you expect! He doesn’t have time to go wash his hands!!!! And didn’t care about us mentioning that they needed to was their hands for the safety of all customers!!!! Sad!!!!!! FOOD SAFETY FIRST OVER ORDERS!!!!!!!!! NO cross contamination!!

Sad day drove up from Virginia to get what use to be the best biscottis. When I saw them and said oh wow you changed the recipe they said no just the size. So I fell for it and bought 6. The search for good coffee in Atlantic City led me here (there are not many options). Unfortunately the search continues. Standard 1st wave Italian coffee served to meet the 2nd wave market. Their bakery products are worth coming for, especially the Chocolate Lava cake!

Guests can enjoy a fitness center, game room with billiards and basketball, as well as access to nearby attractions like Steel Pier and Absecon Lighthouse.
I brought my four children and two foster children for the long Columbus Day weekend. I had heard some pretty bad things but I couldn't beat the price and decided to give it a shot. We had an amazing experience. The girls that worked at the front desk were extremely friendly and helpful. Our rooms were spotless and no bugs in sight. They did have to close the water park for one day due to the weather but they had no problem giving me a refund and compensating us with some game cards. As for games being broken, any game I came across that didn't work correctly. I let someone know and they immediately fixed it. And also reimbursed us for any issues with any games. Every staff member we came in contact with were friendly and provided us with a great experience. Overall, my children and I had a great time and can't wait to go back.
Britteney M — Google review
My recent stay at the Showboat Atlantic City was a letdown. First, the cleanliness was a major issue. The hallway on our floor was visibly dirty, and there was a constant, strong smell of marijuana. The room itself had a few maintenance problems, including only one working sink. The air conditioning was also a big disappointment; it was set to a cool temperature but never dropped below 70 degrees. We also had trouble with basic amenities. There was no coffee pot or hairdryer in the room. When we asked housekeeping about a hairdryer, they told us to call the front desk. I called the front desk at least ten times from the room phone and my cell phone, but no one ever answered. Finally, the security was questionable. The key card was supposed to be required to access our floor from the elevator, but this feature didn't work at all, which felt like a significant safety lapse. Overall, it was convenient place for us to stay for the night after a concert, but definitely would not stay here again.
Melissa H — Google review
My family went to Showboat for the Columbus Day weekend. Overall the property is dark and is in need of some serious renovations. The check in process was ok, but you have to pay for parking on a phone app rather than being able to pay at hotel desk. The room was very dated. The water in the bathroom wasn’t hot. Also the hotel advertised that rooms are cleaned daily however no one came to clean our room. We tried to contact front desk and couldn’t get anyone. While we were there someone was running around our floor in the middle of the night drunk. The next morning we found the guy sleeping at the elevator. Security wasn’t monitoring the floor. While this is a supposed to be a family friendly venue. I would suggest to parents like myself to monitor your kids and don’t let them roam especially at night on their own. The water park was literally the best part of our trip. But I would suggest sleeping at another property.
Winston J — Google review
I only booked because they are pet friendly, that was the only reason. This hotel is definitely dated. I myself, do not enjoy family friendly spaces, my kids are adults. Again pet friendly was the reason for booking here. It is set up as a kids playland. Everything is dated. The restaurant providing the music for boardwalk was lacking diversity in the music it played. So the entertainment was wack. But hey family friendly so u get what you get. The overall vibe just wasn't there. We spent our time visiting and enjoying other venues on the boardwalk. Even with them being pet friendly, I won't book here again. I would pay a petsitter and stay elsewhere. Good spots if u have kids. No so good if you are an adult and like an adult environment/entertainment.
Brandi B — Google review
Group of us stayed here recently. Place was quiet. Off season I assume as it was very quiet. Had some really cool features like an indoor mini golf course and indoor go kart track. Plenty to see and do. Located right on the boardwalk.
Joe C — Google review
Outdated. Conversion to an arcade from a casino is strange. Way too many crane machines that are impossible to win. Most floor's ice machines were out of order. Overpriced buffet and buffet staff were not pleasant. Rest of staff and security were polite and friendly. Room was adequate. Reasonable room prices, but at what cost. Amenities not worth it. Wife and I did our best to overlook the shortcomings and still enjoyed our stay, but this hotel needs a huge renovation.
Bad W — Google review
Interesting experience at what was once a lovely themed hotel. It's definitely become quite dilapidated over the years. Rugs are taped down, tiles cracked everywhere, elevators have stickers over the buttons to denote the "new" floor its going to (for example, floor 5 used to house the pool, pre-waterpark, I assume. Now there is just a sticker for Floor 5 Guest Rooms stuck on the button. It's missing on several elevators. The parking garage elevators are similarly fuzzy on the directions). The arcade/bowling/go karts/skating/mini golf is a nice touch instead of a casino, except it was all being closed off around 11:30pm - so that means it's not available for late night activity or sitting at the bar. The water park was nice but limited activities. Worth even the discounted price? Ehh... Typical pricing of an ocean front venue, we can say that. Overall, very sad and disappointed to see the whole place in such disrepair. This used to be a beautiful resort! The interior mimics the city outside of the resorts and casinos - not glitzy and clean and pristine. The perk was the price; while other locations were booked solid and cost just as much for a regular king or 2 queen room, we had a massive ocean front apartment with 2 full baths, a huge bedroom, a living room and a kitchen/bar, plus a very large wrap around balcony. The room was clean in general but small details were overlooked. There was a corner of a wall that had a large hole in it, the edges of the curtains were dirty, the sliding doors were a challenge to open, close, lock and unlock, the balcony was a trip hazard everywhere, and we had to request a hairdryer (they brought it quickly which was great but is that not normal for it to just be there already??). The sheets and pillows were clean but did not smell fresh or particularly neutral, if that makes sense. The AC never quite seemed to reach temperature, but it wasn't awful - it was in the high 60s outside but humid, so thankfully it wasn't 90° out! The kiosks were open for coffee and snacks but we didn't walk by any open restaurants except for their cafe at the front which was not a sit down restaurant. Bottom line: you can save a lot on your room here as compared to other locations in AC but don't expect to be wowed. Reminds me of Riviera in Vegas when they were limping to the end. "It's better than sleeping on the sidewalk!" seemed to be their slogan.

During my weekend stay, elevators were malfunctioning. People waited for elevators for 45 minutes to an hour - just to get to the lobby. Seniors were trying to get downstairs with walkers and canes. My husband and I walked from the 12th floor to the main floor with our large bags. We were happy we weren’t on a higher floor. Management was oblivious to the situation or just didn’t care. Once we got downstairs, I informed the manager. She was clueless. Hotel guests were left to manage the situation alone. The room we stayed in had no microwave no coffee machine, no blanket on the bed, only 2 hangers, and poor lighting. The hotel bar sucked. We will not stay at showboat again. The staff were really nice and friendly. My experience is not a reflection on them. The hotel has poor management.

A Perfect Stay with Classic Charm and Laughter! I absolutely loved my stay at Claridge! The location couldn’t be better—right in the heart of AC, making it super convenient to get around. The vintage, old-school vibes give the place so much character and charm—it felt like stepping into a stylish time capsule in the best way. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and check-in and check-out were a breeze. One of the highlights was catching the comedy show during my stay—such a fun experience that made the trip even more memorable. Pros- cost efficient, location was great close to shops, boardwalk and beach The rooftop bar had a nice atmosphere and good music Bed was comfortable and the room was a nice size. The view was good of the ocean and beach minus the windows that were dirty. When we requested our sheets changed, they did so. Cons- only had 1 to 2 elevators working which the first dept had to show up and let people out 1 day and another day a few previous to our stay. Long wait times for elevator. Long wait time to check in. The shower wasn't really clean as there was stuff left behind as well on the nightstand that wasn't wiped down. The pool is definitely not as big as the photos seem. Our water took about 7 -10 minutes to warm up and even then was not hot. No bathroom ventilation. Parking is $25/day. So after tax we added an extra $79.98 to our stay because of this. There's a resort fee that we paid which is fine but I could do without the extra $100 hold on my card.

Great hotel location in Atlantic City! The location was right near the beach which was nice. Although, you do have to pay for parking. Only a few things I would critique… Check-in is INSANELY long no matter what time of day you are checking in. I’m not sure what takes so long, as it is a simple check-in process. We waited in line for nearly an hour before getting to our room, and any time we walked in the lobby the line was just as long. Second, the elevators are HORRIBLE. They have several elevators and yet you still have to wait almost 20 minutes to get in one. I ended up having to walk down flights of stairs just to check-out in time because the elevators would not go down. Also be careful because these are very old and will dip on you while riding. Other than that, the price was decent and the room was wonderful! No complaints about the rest of the stay!
Ashley F — Google review
We just came back from staying 2 nights in this hotel. It was absolute hell from the second I checked in. We had the least friendly staff member- who barely said a word to us as we signed a bunch of different screens, and signed, without being told what was happening (we booked 2 rooms). Handed us our keys without saying a word about the pool being closed down and unusable; to the elevator leading to the rooftop restaurant undergoing maintenance from the upper floors..then sending us up at 9:30 with a group of 3 children so that we could be yelled at the second we stepped off the elevator into the restaurant! I went back to the front desk to talk with the employee and she was disgustingly rude to me, argued with me; and just plain old did not care what so ever. We felt completely unwelcome, frustrated, and let down. Then to top it off, our rooms were disgusting. The previous guest left his ID in my bed.. along with pubic hair!! They obviously didn’t clean my bed. I slept 2 days on top of all of the covers because I was so disgusted. We felt completely defeated. The hallways were disgusting, the guests on our floor were loud and obnoxious at all hours off the night. Don’t even get me started on the parking attendants being completely unhelpful and rude when we were trying to make sure my handicapped, veteran father could get his luggage out before parking. Not one single person in that building cared we were guests there. We didn’t get welcomed once. Departure was no different, the employee took a phone call while checking us out, covered the mouth of the phone and told us we were all set… we had to request a receipt and for him to explain to us the holds on the room and process of it being refunded. Never once did anyone take the time to talk to us about anything. I would never ever stay here again, and I will make sure to warn everyone all my friends and family to stay away when they visit Atlantic City.

Terrible Experience – Do Not Stay Here This was by far the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. When we checked into our room, we immediately discovered clothing under the sheets, cups and bottles under the bed, and the entire room was filthy. The smell was horrible, the carpet was sticky, and many things in the room were broken. Even opening the door was a struggle. To make things worse, we booked this hotel specifically because it had a pool. At check-in, we were told the pool was under maintenance but would be ready the next day. That turned out to be completely untrue – the pool never opened. It felt like they just wanted to keep us there while hiding the truth. The elevators were also in terrible shape – not working properly, dirty, and filled with a horrible smell. Right next to the parking elevator we saw several homeless people, which made us feel unsafe. The parking area itself was filthy and had the same awful smell. The staff member we dealt with was not professional or helpful at all. Between the nasty room, the lies about the pool, and the lack of basic cleanliness, we couldn’t stay any longer and had to leave after just one night. Save yourself the stress and money – do not book this hotel.

I was there Saturday 23rd of August Pros: hotel manager was lovely and she deserves a raise for her devoted nature to the company! Restaurants are very nice and affordable The pool was just for adults after certain hours; kids needed adults to swim Arcade was cool Inside the elevators are very nice Air conditioning works great how I found out was annoying. Cons: Valet was too high and the parking garage was well 25, I feel like if I’m spending all that money to stay there then 1 parking pass should come with the room… at least one. *There was mold all through the hallways and it smelled like the older community is their target clientele.(you’ll see what I mean if you stay there not saying the mold is why the decor is stuck in the 50s) *The rooms don’t have microwaves….… how do you have a refrigerator and restaurant but no microwave is beyond me. Their outlets are outdated they have the old USB lamps and they charge VERY slow. The shower heads are outdated and calcified. The vending machines were ancient (Hopefully the ice machine didn’t have mold in it it was good ice though) Walls were super super thin… I mean your can hear a full conversation next door. Last but not least the windows don’t budge an inch so no listening to the waves while you sleep…. You guys should have a limit to how much you can open instead of caging people in the room.

I recently stayed at the Claridge Hotel and had a great experience overall with my family. While the rooms are not modern, this is something to be expected from a historic property. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was accommodating. I especially want to highlight Leavander's 22 Southern Cuisine catering service. Chef Craig and his team did an outstanding job. The food was delicious and the service was incredibly professional, attentive, and welcoming. I truly appreciated his dedication and service to what he loves to do. Thanks for making our banquet and breakfast amazing, Food Is Love.

You get what you pay for. It’s a much better price than other hotels in the area. It's very close to the boardwalk and has a great rooftop bar. The room phone doesn't work, front desk line always long and slow, and elevators are slow and ineffective! I had to wait 20 mins once because I just couldn't get on. Good for short trip but not more then a weekend.

Visitors appreciate the friendly and knowledgeable staff who provide excellent service without making them feel rushed, creating a cozy atmosphere. The menu features delicious food at reasonable prices, including special salad options and affordable cocktails. Customers also praise the attentive waitstaff for their fast and great customer service.
First time I have visited a Ruby Tuesday. Our waiter was great. Older guy...but very friendly and very knowledgeable about everything in the menu. Gave us a few suggestions. Made us feel very welcome. My husband and I loved the atmosphere, cozy place. May be because it was a weekday and not crowded. Did not feel pressured to leave by the waiter as it was raining "cats and dogs". Food was great and plenty. We loved the steak!.

My family and I went to this restaurant and right off the bat could tell this place was not that good. The staff at the front seemed disorganized but we eventually got seated. The waiter was an older man who was awkward and seemed to be drunk and very forgetful at times. My moms utensils were dirty and there was something on the inside of my glass of water. The bathrooms were dirty and there was water all over the floor. The food took long to come even though the restaurant was not packed. The food arrived and everything seemed to be going well but then my cousin literally found a piece of plastic wrapper in her chicken!! We told the waiter and he mumbled “not again”. I was very turned off by seeing this and I did not enjoy my meal. The manager however replaced my cousins meal and paid for her food. I would not recommend coming here

Loved this place, food is delicious, they had a nice special salad , choice of a meat(platter of beef, fish or chicken) and a side, plus desert only for 13$. Also their cocktails are cheap and taste good. It’s my third time here for 1 year, I enjoy it every time I come here. Prices do not bite for sure!

The waiter was excellent. We had a very good meal. The croutons weren't as fresh as another Rubys and we asked the waiter who informed us they are only like that first thing when they are put out. He knew how good they could be though!

We were there two days during our stay in the area. The first day we had a good lunch, the food was great and the service nice, we paid 130 bucks for 4 persons, including the tip. The second day we just wanted to have some beers, and we were totally ignored by the staff. Conclusion is that they don't pay attention unless they expect a good tip.

Can't leave a review on the food because while waiting to be seated a MOUSE ran by in the restaurant so my party of 2, along with 2 other parties walked out. Informed the host and she said okay like she's seen a mouse in the restaurant before-- this all happened on June 16, 2018 around 8 pm

As a long time resorts customer I have 1 go to restaurant and that's Ruby's diner. The food is awesome . They serve breakfast brunch lunch and dinner to perfection.thr fries are crisp the burgers juicy the shakes are spot on good. Also unlimited refills on your soda purchase. It's right in the food court and seconds away from all the slots and tables games you could play.

The cashier Naury/Naurys had such an unpleasant demeanor that I didn’t know that the order number printed on the receipt is not the order number they call. They call the number that they scribble on the receipt. I sat there for 30 mins waiting for a cheese burger . Mind you I sat right in front of the place. There weren’t a lot of customers, so I’m sure they knew who ordered what. Every time a woman called out number 16, while I am thinking I am number five, we make eye contact. After waiting for 30 minutes I got up and told that I have been waiting for 30 minutes for my burger. I Show them my receipt and unfortunately, I was waiting and listening for the wrong number. My food was already wrapped up in a to go bag. I also noticed that the chef was coughing a lot and was not wearing a mask. If you KNOW it’s my food, just wave me over…or if the cashier with the nasty attitude would have told me the actual number on they would have been calling that would have been helpful too. It wasn’t just me, another man was waiting and confused by this as well. He was looking at the register printed order # as well. My lukewarm burger was cool though , but service was trash 🗑️ Burger, fries, and water was about $19

So they are racist & And they discriminated me because I don't EAT PORK . When I asked him to clean the grill and change their gloves, food, health, safety wise trust examination they told me they would not serve me. You told me to leave and And refuse my money for me. Getting some food for me and my kids because we do not eat pork so they discriminated me because I don't eat PORK !! Do Not giving them no business or No service !! I come here every week or maybe other every week at least three times in a month. Treat it like this because of my eating because I don't eat pork they should be thrown out. The hotel health department should be there because they have cross-determination. They don't care. They don't change their gloves. The food is just nasty

The menu online is a total lie. This place is something to eat inside of a casino. It’s not an authentic diner. Milkshakes look nothing as displayed, and the taste reflects it. Several people’s orders were wrong. First and Last time visiting.

Ordered delivery, but it came piping hot since they’re close by. Patty Melt? Perfection. Cheesy, onions grilled to perfection, buttery grilled rye bread..Nirvana. Can’t speak for the chicken tenders since I didn’t try them, but they look great. But the fries. Three orders of their shoestring potatoes, every last one undercooked. Pale, pale cream colored and floppy, not even close to crisped. Crispy shoestrings would have made this a fab meal.

After a crazy night of partying in Atlantic City, I woke up yearning for a spinach omelette but couldn't find breakfast spot open at 4pm. Finding this spot was a blessing!!! Omg I have to say that this is by far one of the best turkey burgers I've ever had! 🍔 Tender and juicy, thick and large patty, and the bun toasted to perfection! Great service and atmosphere. I actually just stumbled upon this place as I was strolling along the boardwalk playing tourist. Their whole menu looks amazing! I will come back here the next time I'm in town for sure! I definitely recommend if you want some local flavor! 😋

I’m writing this review about PHILLY STEAKS AND SUBS. It is currently 8am … long before this restaurant opens, and even longer since it closed last night. The meat is still sitting out in the display, uncovered, from yesterday’s shift. This is a food safety hazard. ☢️ shut this place down. Don’t eat here if you don’t want to have your trip to AC ruined with food poisoning.

I am writing this review in response to the review from 3 weeks ago where someone is claiming that Philly Steaks and Subs has left their meat out all night long😂😂😂. I took my own picture and just wanted to let everyone know the case is full of assorted nuts. No meat is ever in the nut case 🤪🤪🤪. No meat was harmed during the creation of this review 😂😂😂. Also I showed the employees the last review claiming that they need to shut this place down immediately. They all shook their heads 🤪🤪🤪

The Wine Bar is a hidden gem located downstairs in the Borgata Hotel Casino The atmosphere is intimate, warm and inviting. The back walls are lined with wine bottles. The service is friendly and attentive, and the wine list is extensive. The wine list 🍷 is one of the best in Atlantic City. There are wines from all over the world, and the staff is very knowledgeable about the different selections. They are happy to make recommendations based on your taste preferences. If you are a lover of vintage wines we recommend you stop by the Wine Bar🍷

The Wine Bar has a cool and relaxed vibe. We ordered cocktails from the Wine Bar and a frozen drink from the Daiquiri Bar that’s connected. Had the seven seas drink from the Wine Bar listed on the board for $17 and it tasted good. Warm bread and Italian dipping oil was nice. The appetizer with the calamari, shrimp, potatoes, & zucchini was delicious. The calamari was tender and had a nice crispy, seasoned coating as well as the other items on the platter. The meatball appetizer was one of my favorite things. I loved the marinara which tasted like it had been simmering with fresh vegetables. The meatball was big enough to be shared. It was tender and juicy. The atmosphere was fun and light. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Jesus’, with the management team at the Wine Bar is very friendly and engaging with the customers. He checked several times to make sure we had everything we needed. There’s a DJ on Saturday nights and wow he is good!! There is a nice size dance floor. If you’re in the area, try it!!

The service was okay but food was horrible. Tasteless and bland food. Spaghetti was over cooked. Porkchops were under season to tasteless. Like someone just threw it into water and did a quick fry on only one side of the porkchops. Gnocchi was too doughy and the rigatoni seem like it was over worked if it was made in house. Overall bad experience. The only thing that came out of this place that my group and I liked was the dry meats and cheeses. Save your money and go elsewhere

The chicken Parm and spaghetti special for $18.49 at the Italian place in the corner was lousy. Fortunately it was comp'd so I didn't pay for it, but the chicken just had no flavor at all. It wasn't old and the portion size was fine, it was just bland. Wouldn't recommend. The cheese steak combo for $25 is a lot better at the cheese steak eatery.

Waited 20 minutes for a dine in order at 520pm on 12/29. As I waited for my order for 20 minutes. I watched the manager, an older spanish man with a mustache literally bare hand touch people's ready to eat fries and pack them into the carton with his bare hands before giving it to the guest. I asked for a refund and left. Absolutely disgusting, I did tell the manager he needs to wear gloves when touching ready to eat food.

Lots of angry hungry people waiting for their breakfast. People are asking for their money back or walking out. One con of the mobile app is that you can’t cancel your order or get an easy refund. You are stuck if you walk in and it is mess. And it is a mess this morning. 20 minute wait. Also not helpful is the pick up display is not working so it a guess whether your order is in the system. People did point out that the drive though orders were moving. We have been here several times over the years and today is an anomaly.

The establishment is known for its high-quality food and has been hailed as serving some of the best pizza in New Jersey. I came here one day out of curiosity since i walk the ave a lot. Its very cozy on the inside, traditional pizzaria with aspects of an Italian restaurant. I placed my order and waited. I had a Meatball Parm Sub. It didnt take long and i grabbed my order and sat down, really taking in the atmosphere. It was nice, and very clean. Theres plenty of seating as well. The meatball parm sub was fresh and warm. The meatballs were perfectly cooked, the tomato gravy was perfectly seasoned, not too acidic, not too sweet, and the cheese was evenly destributed and melted perfectly on it. The roll also had a nice toast on it. Overall 10/10

I will NEVER order here again! I ordered 2 pizzas for delivery. During the ordering process, the person taking the order kept saying "hold on" and I'd then hear her talking to someone else. So i had to repeat my order 3 times. I knew this would not go well. Pizzas arrive. Box bottom is warm, so I'm thinking 'maybe ok.' I open the one and instead of extra cheese and extra sauce, I get a pizza with extra sausage! Except it was an order that was not supposed to have any meat! I called back. Same person answers and says 'ok, we'll send another." I say ok. 5 mins later, she calls back and says "give the delivery driver the wrong pizza." Hmm. I call back and say I'll keep it (a friend will take it) and what's the charge for the correct pizza - the one with Xtra cheese Xtra sauce. She tells me, I say ok. I call back twice to see when that pizza might get here. 1st time I'm told "he'll be there soon." The 2nd time I ask whereabouts of said pizza and I'm told "oh, he left awhile ago." After ANOTHER 15 mins, the pizza arrives. It's cold. And I foolishly paid for it. But think about it .. they could have sent this "wrong pizza" to another person! Would you want to be that person? I'm pretty sure it's a health code violation - recycling someone else's food! No. NEVER AGAIN! This was my first and last time with this place!

Dunkin' is a well-established chain known for its iconic breakfast offerings and an array of coffee beverages. Customers often find themselves ordering multiple drinks, although they have noted that the staff does not consistently provide drink holders. Despite this, many patrons appreciate the quality of the food, particularly praising the freshness of their menu items.
On December 13, 2024, at 3:16 A.M., I told the staff that I wanted (1) a drink with less ice and (2) a sandwich with extra sausage. He gave me (1) a drink with either regular or too much ice, and (2) a sandwich with nothing additional. Later, I told the staff that he had gotten both orders wrong. He replied: 1. “You ordered extra bacon.” 2. He also didn’t say anything about the ice, as I clearly pointed out that the drink had too much ice and the evidence was presented. Even though I presented the evidence about the ice, he continued to argue loudly, insisting that I was wrong. 3. He also claimed that I ordered extra bacon, but the bacon was not extra.

I had a taste for a cinnamon raisin bagel with cream cheese on the side and this is what i received (see picture). l am questioning if this is really a Dunkin' Donuts bagel it looks like a store bought bagel, first of all it was not fresh, it was also burnt and brick hard, therefore, I did not eat it. I requested it lightly toasted, my husband went to get it for me so he did not look to see what was in the bag. I will advise all customers to check your food before you leave this Dunkin' Donuts on 1133 Boardwalk in Atlantic City. I would not recommend this location.

My family was on vacation at the resort oceans in NJ. On the last day we were going to get dunking before our road trip home. We went to the Dunkin located in the resort, but decided we were going to get on the road after seeing how long the line was and that the prices were more expensive. We got to the other Dunkin about 10 minutes away and I put in a mobile order but accidentally had this location selected. We had already checked out of the hotel and would’ve had to pay to get back in so I figured I’d just call them. Two weeks later, I’ve been calling them every other day and no answer EVERYDAY. I called the resort but because the Dunkin is individually owned they cannot do anything about it. It’s ridiculous that 1 I cannot cancel my order 2 I didn’t get an automatic refund or call after my order wasn’t picked up FOR HOURS 3 this place hasn’t called me back nor answered their phone for TWO ENTIRE WEEKS. All I want is a refund.

After finally trying today the honey chicken pizza I was very disappointed the dough is without flavor the chicken was OK But considering the service I will never go back this is not my first time trying to eat there rude employees have made me leave multiple times. The absolute worst employees in Atlantic City especially the one in the photos.

Absolute worst place to EAT in Ballys ( and all of AC ) Went there late night in Mid August and ordered 2 slices and a Jamaican beef patty. There was definately something wrong with the beef patty as 2 hrs later I was violently sick with food poisoning. Funny I went there there 2 days later the morning of checkout and complained with the women who works there she refused to take blame for anything and said maybe it was food I ate somewhere else that made me sick. I said NO it was your beef patty she then said I eat them all the time and I never get sick. Told me she would contact the owner / manager at the other NJ location and I would hear back from them but here we are a month later and I have heard nothing and I am sure unless I call to follow up I probably never will. I also spoke to a front desk manager at ( of Ballys ) and told him what happen and Ballys said they rent the spot from us there is NOTHING we can do. That's nonsense ... if your guests to your hotel / casino are getting sick eating there then there is surely something you can do about it. I got sick Weds Night at 2am and was sick in bed all day thursday violently vomiting the entire day thursday which ruined our stay as me and my friend spent the entire day with me sick in the hotel room. Needless to say I will be following up with MANAGEMENT for both this place and Ballys.

It took forever for my pepperoni pizza to come out. Not to mention the prices on the website aren't right I spent $37 and some change for a pizza that makes my stomach hurt as soon as I take a bite. 7-Eleven has better pizza than them.
Morgan M — Google review
The hotel itself is pretty trashy, it was dirty in the dining area so we didn't eat there, pizza was 5.9/10, decent if you need a quick bite which we did

Was hard to find but well worth the search. Pizza and dessert were great. Try the strawberry lemonade.

Pizza was good. Service was lousy and rude. Atmosphere was dirty and tables were not clean. Wouldn’t recommend.

Pin-Up Pizza is a popular spot for delicious pizza and wings. Visitors rave about the fantastic pepperoni slices, making it a must-visit for pizza lovers. The barbecue wings are also highly recommended, offering a tasty complement to the main attraction. While some found the pizza to be just okay, many first-time visitors express their intention to return, indicating an overall positive experience at Pin-Up Pizza.
Ordered 3 different slices and mozzarella sticks. Sicilian Pepperoni Buffalo chicken Mozzarella sticks had good flavor, but the cheese wasn’t fully melted so it wasn’t that good. The Sicilian slice was very dry, needed more sauce and cheese. The Buffalo chicken was the worst one and was the driest. The chicken had the flavor but was over cooked for sure. The pepperoni slice was my favorite as it wasn’t dry and it tasted good. I saw some of the pies they sold and they were HUGE, for $35. I’d probably order either plain or the pepperoni pie to make it worth it. At $7 a slice, it should have some top notch ingredients. A $2 slice taste better than these unfortunately. Service was quick, waited less than 5 minutes for my order.

Figured I'd try it again since the menu revamp. Ordered the garlic knots... Huge and dry. Garlic tasted like plastic. The chicken Parm had zero flavor. Pasta was mushy and chicken was too thick with flavorless breadcrumbs. Overpriced for basic crap food. Better food with better prices on the Ave in the mom and pop shops.

Ordered a slice of slice of pizza and a bottle of water for almost $15. The pizza was literally raw when I got it. I asked the person behind the counter to put it back in the oven and he proceeded to put it in for 20 seconds and then slide it back to me. I am sitting here with a piece of raw dough and rubbery tasteless cheese. Tried to eat as much as I could since I’m out $15 but this is as much as I can handle without throwing up. If you are craving pizza in AC, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

The prices are ridiculous but understand that is a resort. The mozzarella sticks, the cheese didn't even stretch but the taste with the dipping marinara sauce was the BOMB,,,so tasty and is coming from a home chef my self. The chicken BBQ pizza, I don't know is I was hungry, drunk or starving but it was DELICIOUS...LOL...

Me and my boyfriend never had such bad pizza. He's from New York and I am from New Jersey. We couldn't even eat this if we were drunk. I wish we were! It is 3:30 in the afternoon! I would give this place 0 stars if u could. Because what really gets me is I am a former smoker and as I bit a piece of the crust and it tasted like ashtray. I am utterly sick to my stomach. I have a nasty taste in my mouth and I can not get rid of. The pie itself was a cheese pie. Wasn't cooked fully. Cheese overload with sauce.. oh what where was the sauce. I am highly disappointed since this was my first day in A.C. ever!! Stay away unless you like doughy pizza mixed with a hint of ashtray.

Ordered 2 pep slices around 6:15-6:30 on a Monday evening. Selection was sparse. Poor quality. Service was quick, staff was pleasant, but food was more than a disappointment.

Pizza restaurant
Joe Rock Cafe is a pizza eatery located in Atlantic City that prides itself on serving authentic and genuine meals made from high-quality ingredients. They not only provide real beef options but also offer nutritious alternatives like salads and salad-based meals. With an emphasis on health-conscious choices, this establishment ensures that customers can enjoy both flavorful pizzas and healthy options at their convenient location in Atlantic City.
Located in the Atlantic City Boardwalk near the casino strip, this cafe is more of an Italian style serving pizza spaghetti meatballs, garlic bread, etc. They do have french fries and funnel cake to meet the boardwalk needs. The ambiance of the restaurant is good with nicely allocated seating, clearly laid out menus, good display of that pizza, restaurant doesn't have a restroom inside but they have an ATM machine for usage. We ordered pizza slices( vegetarian and chicken) and then spaghetti with meatballs. Then we also ordered funnel cake. The stuff is not friendly. I seem to know interest you're talking to customers, or I'm not sure if it's just us. The food is good for Boardwalk expectations. I like the vegetarian pizza and then the funnel cake. My friend said that spaghetti and the meatballs tasted very good. If you like the food, you don't care about the service you get, this should be a place for you!!!

Decided on our trip to AC to stop here Sunday morning for breakfast and realized it was the worst breakfast I think I’ve had. Worst part is, it was literally $70 for 4 people!! Could have had a better breakfast at Dennys for a cheaper price honestly. Not sure how their Lunch/Dinner food might be but I would not suggest their breakfast ever.
CJ M — Google review
Other than outdoor seating overlooking the ocean, there is nothing good at this place. The breakfast is wayyy overpriced and taste like ughhhh. The omelet is dry and when u ask if they have tap water, they give and charge you bottle water. Anyway no toilet for customer. And you can see flies all over the foods as well.
Allo C — Google review
Stopped in for breakfast but absolutely no meats were available to add to omelette or sandwiches, told that French fries were the only option for “home fries”. Extremely overpriced. Pancakes were dry, syrup looked like it had water added to it. Eggs and French fries were decent.
Tracey P — Google review
The food tastes stale and old. Chicken flavorless and the pizza tasted like rubbers. It needs to new management or the owners don’t really care about the customer experience. Don’t come here.
Will R — Google review
Prices were pretty much inline with the rest of the overpriced places along the boardwalk. Chicken quesadilla was really good and my son liked his wings and fries. Burger was rated as mediocre by my husband. My youngest seemed to like the pizza.
Mandi W — Google review
Flies on everything pre-made so didn't order any of that. Staff barely understood English. Chicken quesadilla was the most disgusting quesadilla I've ever had. They don't give refunds. Onion rings and hot dogs were good. Definitely NOT worth the money.

Stopped here for a brunch like meal before heading to aquarium before departure, after eating here never made it to the aquarium because I got so sick. The whole 3 1/2 hour car ride home I was dying of severe stomach pain, had to use a Taco Bell bathroom in central Philly it was so bad! When I finished my fish and chips I showed my girlfriend the grease pilled at the bottom of the plate 🤢 not a napkin in sight. We went the end of August and I’m still having stomach issues! Do not eat at this place. Also not a napkin in sight good luck finding one!
