Breakfast restaurant
American restaurant
Coffee shop
Gilchrist Restaurant is a long-standing eatery located in downtown Atlantic City, offering classic American breakfast and lunch since 1946. The cozy and welcoming atmosphere, reminiscent of traditional diners, makes it a popular spot for families. Known for its delicious home fries, hotcakes, French toast, crispy bacon, and eggs prepared to your liking with a side of grits. Locals highly recommend the signature blueberry hotcakes as the best in town.
Everything was wonderful. Loved the location. Came for lunch right by the aquarium in town. Very clean and felt like home. Ate lunch outside beautiful day for it. Would visit again when at the casinos. Or boat cruise. Only thing I didn’t like was the fish and chips were very greasy for like taste but everything else was on point.
Chris M — Google review
Big disappointment. The waiter did not bring us what we asked for and forgot about it. The food was so unpleasant and blend, we could not even finish it. French toast was saggy and not pleasant to eat. We also had to wait to be seated for 30 min. I think this place is “an emperor with no clothes”. The only great thing about this place was its location right on the water. That’s all. This place needs to step up their game! We would not come back.
Kosta R — Google review
The breakfast food was good, with nice portions, and they know how to make a perfect over-easy egg nice and white, waitresses were nice but to get everything we needed we had to flag 3 different ones down and the cashier for refills. Nice little place right on the water. Prices were slightly higher but we were on the water and close to casinos!
JOSEPH Z — Google review
Great Breakfast restaurant to drop by if you are in Atlantic city area. Coffee was fresh, French toast was just right, not too greasy, and the omelet was deliscious too.
Renee K — Google review
Pulled up for Sunday breakfast after catching a fire review on IG—and trust, it lived up to the hype. Place was packed, but we waited less than 10 minutes. Vibes were right, and the service? On point. Friendly, quick, and all smiles. She went with the spinach omelette—fresh, flavorful, zero notes. I skipped the signature blueberry pancakes and kept it classic with the buttermilk stack. No regrets—fluffy, buttery, and straight-up perfect. This spot knows what it’s doing. Definitely in the brunch rotation now the next time I'm in Atlantic City. (Apologize for the lighting on the video, my settings were incorrect).

ACs hidden BREAKFAST gem! love this breakfast spot by the marina. The food, service, and atmosphere is perfect! There is a wait and it's always busy. just means its really good.
J D — Google review
I've always enjoyed the other Gilchrist restaurants and wanted to try this one. The fact that it is on the water is just awesome. It's so relaxing. In typical Gilchrist style, the food is always delicious.
Annie B — Google review
Food was good and we would go again. High quality ingredients, no, but it was good home style food. The best part was the outdoor seating. The service was quick.

Restaurant
Kelsey's Atlantic City is a classy soul-food restaurant owned by Kelsey and Kimberly Jackson. The upscale eatery offers elevated versions of traditional comfort-food dishes and hosts live music on the weekends, creating a vibrant atmosphere for guests to enjoy. The restaurant is known for its soul food brunch buffet, where patrons can indulge in shrimp and grits while vibing to 90s R&B or other tunes spun by the DJ.
Amazing! Justin server was a joy. Whiting and shrimp combo, and the Fried Wings needed just a hair more seasoning compared to the fish and shrimp. Greens were a must have, yams are soooooo goooood. Sweeeeet with a hint of vanilla, baked Mac and Cheese prepared with sharp cheddar versus a creamy mild cheese sauce. Defiantly get the cornbread. You won’t be disappointed. We were there when there was live music. What a treat.

This place is a tough sell. I made a reservation weeks in advance. I accidentally canceled it. They don’t answer the phone only voice mails, I sent a email, sent a text. To no avail. Went there when they opened at 10AM. Young lady said still come back at 4PM my group of 4 should be fine. That was a lie. Was in line at 3:40PM. There is no place I want to eat at that I will wait longer than 15 minutes. But this was my wife’s birthday and she wanted to attend before the concert. We stood in line until 5:40PM. Then had to sit at the bar. None of us drink alcohol. This poor attitude by the staff has to come from the top. Word of mouth is huge for a restaurant, especially in a town with so many other options. You would think they would want to make sure your experience is pleasant. Now once we walked in, it was empty tables everywhere. I couldn’t believe it. I was so disappointed. Food was okay, didn’t knock my socks off and certainly wasn’t worth a 2+ hour wait. It did come pretty quickly. We didn’t take up a lot of time because you could see people still standing in line through the glass. We are considerate people even if the management is not. This place is a hard pass for my family next time in AC. Just expected better treatment especially from my own. I wish they would do better, start by answering the phone!

We really wanted to enjoy the brunch, but unfortunately we were disappointed. The red velvet and sweet potato waffles are good; you get 2 pieces per plate (they are not on the buffet tables; the server brings them). The mac and cheese wasn't good at all. It was oily and the cheese used was separating - not a good flavor. The pot roast had good flavor but was a bit tough. The shrimp & sauce for the the shrimp n grits was good. The grits were a bit runny. For the price ($45+ per person) I would suggest having more selections available. The music was great. Not much other ambience in the restaurant during brunch.
Bryn P — Google review
Kelsey's in Atlantic City is a fantastic spot for a Sunday brunch! We rolled in around 11 AM and were seated immediately – no wait at all. The buffet was $46 and honestly, it was totally worth it. Our waitress was super attentive and kept checking on us, which was a nice touch. While the selection wasn't huge, with about 12 different trays of food, everything they offered was really good. My personal favorites were the Grits with shrimp gravy, the savory Lobster Cakes, and the perfectly spiced Spicy catfish. The Jerk Chicken was also incredibly flavorful and a definite highlight. They also have an omelet and pancake station where you can get your eggs cooked exactly how you like them. To top it all off, the DJ really set a great vibe for the whole place. I thoroughly enjoyed both the food and the atmosphere!
Enzo T — Google review
We went here for brunch on Saturday first time coming here for brunch it was $46.00 per person. At first I thought that seems a little high for brunch but when we got inside the atmosphere far as the DJ playing some good songs had the customers dancing and singing. It wasn't your typical type of brunch. The food that they had for brunch was a really good mix everything that I got I enjoyed. I really like that you can order your fish and they would bring it out to you nice and hot they had to cook making omelettes and pancakes right on the spot. Definitely will come back for brunch again.

My Husband and I had a FANTASTIC TIME here. It was our first time and upon entering the vibes were IMMACULATE. Our waiter’s name was Scott and he was SO AWESOME!! Super personable, super professional, and super kind. My Hubby and I came on a Wednesday to celebrate our anniversary and we were not disappointed. This place is everything and the food was DELICIOUS! I can’t wait to come back. We also had our picture taken, edited and framed in a cute little 5x7 frame and we were super happy with it. It was just a wonderful experience. Support this business.
Anisa B — Google review
I came here craving some soul food and had passed by the other day and wanted to come back. I got a seat pretty quick at the bar. The menu is a scan code for your phone that was pretty cool. I got a sweet tea and the fish and shrimp platter with Mac and cheese and black eyes w rice. The black eyes were great with just enough salt and shreds of pork in it. The shrimp were great, nice seasoning and the white fish was good. They did a good job on removing almost all the bones. Now anyone that has read my post when it comes to Mac and cheese, they know I am a critic. This Mac and cheese was a disappointment. It had no cheese sauce and was more like scrambled eggs, either they curdled it or to much flour but bartender said they dont use a rue. Needless to say it was very dry. I added a pic of it. Bartender was super nice and the music was great.
Fewx J — Google review
Everything about this place is overrated, food was okay but the service was terrible. Even with the temperature outside being above 100F they made us stand in the sun, when asked if we can move to the shade, they didn’t let us. When entered we saw there was plenty of space to fit everyone in the queue and more. I wouldn’t say they have the best seafood I have ever eaten. The crab cakes were smelly and the shrimp too. Fish Tacos were the only good ones from the menu

If you find yourself in Atlantic City and craving a delightful breakfast, look no further than Lenox Cafe. Just a short stroll from the Boardwalk, this charming diner offers an inviting atmosphere that feels like home. Here, you can indulge in classic American breakfast favorites such as crispy hash browns and fluffy French toast dusted with powdered sugar.
Visiting from NY, Googled nearby breakfast eateries. This came up. I was excited to go try some home cooked meals from the menu that I saw. I arrived and it looked like a hole in the wall. It is a hole in the wall but wonderful hole-in-the-wall! The food is as if you're in someone's kitchen and their cooking you the best Southern meals. Small place, clean and always busy. I will come back.

My food Was AMAZING! Customer service was great! I ordered Guava Juice, Pancakes, eggs scrambled with cheddar cheese, home fries, turkey bacon & turkey sausage! I believe it was called the Gut Buster meal! The cook is literally a master at work! I will be back tomorrow & every time I come to AC! Thank you💕

We stopped by for breakfast. And have to rate 5 stars for shrimp & grits. Do not judge a book by its cover, just because outside looking of the restaurant but fantastic foods.. Very simple inside. Owners are very nice. Good foods as local recommended.

A friend and I was looking for somewhere good to go and get Breakfast and we was told LENOX CAFE is the Place. Oh yes it was, the atmosphere was warm friendly and the breakfast was awesome we had grits and chicken and waffles we was so full throughout day. And you get great portion you won't be able to finish it all.😊❤

Lenox Cafe was not very busy the morning I came in, but it should be. This small quaint cafe has perfectly prepared breakfast classics in a casual and welcoming environment. The prices are fair with sandwiches ranging around five and larger plates towards ten. There is counter-side seating with the open kitchen right across as well as a few booths and tables. I have not experienced lunch or the new fresh juices although I plan to.

Found this place years ago and since then whenever I am down here in Atlantic City I make sure to stop by for breakfast before heading back home. GREAT Breakfast!!

Located in the Marina District, Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa is a luxurious property that offers a wide range of amenities. The casino area is spacious and less smoky compared to others in the city, while the rooms are described as spacious and luxurious. The hotel's opulent spa, Tocarre, provides a serene retreat with an Italian-themed setting and a variety of global treatments. Additionally, guests can enjoy around-the-world dining options at the hotel's restaurants.
We arrived around 2 PM, checked in, and were able to get our room right away. Parking was easy—we used the self-parking garage, and by scanning the QR code on the wall and entering our stay information, we could come and go freely during our visit. Since we had kids with us, we didn’t try the casino, but the casino floor had a Starbucks, a bakery, and other spots where people seemed to grab a quick breakfast in the morning. The outdoor pool is for guests 21+, so with our two young children we used the indoor pool instead, which was perfect for kids to play in. The fitness center was spacious and well-equipped, which was a nice bonus. Overall, this was a fantastic resort for both relaxation and enjoying Atlantic City. We loved being able to see the ocean and still have all the amenities of a top-notch hotel. Highly recommend for families and couples alike.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a remarkable hotel that provided an exceptional experience focused on relaxation and rejuvenation. After several years of considerable stress and fatigue, this hotel offered the perfect escape. The ambiance was incredibly inviting, creating a serene environment that allowed me to unwind fully. The soothing sounds of the ocean added to the overall tranquility, enhancing my stay significantly. The combination of a peaceful atmosphere and stunning surroundings truly revitalized my spirit. I am immensely grateful for the positive impact this experience had on my well-being. The attentive staff and the quality of service further contributed to making my stay memorable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a restorative getaway that prioritizes relaxation and rejuvenation. It’s a destination that truly delivers on its promise of tranquility and comfort.
Valeria G — Google review
The lobby of the hotel is pretty. I liked the fact that the cleaners always made sure to keep the common areas clean. The Starbucks on site is great. They claimed they upgraded my room but it was a standard room. The hotel is very pricey for us hear the neighbor in the rooms next door talking. Parking is $10 per day. The indoor pool was okay and all restaurants on site were super pricey.
Shanice F — Google review
The room was excellent Except for cobwebs on the sealing, bed was very cosy and comfortable, The hotel was very clean. The refrigerator was small & wasn’t cooling.. The hand blown glass chandeliers were amazing. The staff was friendly, The lighting in the room is very dark so bring your own light for putting on make-up.. overall The experience was great! But the hotel can improve on the rooms.
Sonia W — Google review
Casino is still lovely, with some new refurbishments, carpet and such. Hotel and casino is very clean with Modern games, plenty of table games and slot options. Food at buffett is spectacular along with some good eats at restaurants. Food court has some fast food type options. Not as nice as in its hayday but still our choice When we come in from Florida. Clientele is much more casual these days used to be such a hip spot to go now just a spot to go. Overall kinda meh.
Matthew K — Google review
Alright, let’s keep it real. I stayed at the Borgata thinking, “I’m a Platinum member, this is gonna be fancy.” Spoiler alert: it wasn’t. If this hotel were a person, it’d be the type that brags about being “exclusive” but shows up to brunch in sweatpants. So, I walk in expecting an upgrade, some VIP sparkle, maybe a free breakfast croissant or something. Nope. Nada. Apparently, Platinum means “you get what everyone else gets, but you get to be disappointed about it in a shinier card.” The room looked like it time-traveled straight from 2008. The bathroom door was so poorly installed it got stuck halfway like it was trying to escape the place too. No water in the room, no bathrobes either. I had to call twice and wait an hour for those robes, which at that point felt like waiting for a miracle. The pool area? Actually pretty nice. Until they tell you it closes at 7pm. Because apparently, this hotel thinks people come to Atlantic City to tuck in early and reflect on life choices. Staff were nice enough, but in that “I’m-being-nice-because-it’s-my-job” way. No warmth, no extra effort—just polite autopilot. And the kicker: almost $400 a night. For that price, I expected at least a door that closes, water that appears without a quest, and maybe a robe delivery faster than a pizza. Final thoughts: 2 out of 5 stars. It’s not terrible, but it’s definitely not worth the price or the Platinum hype. I’ll give them credit for the pool—but that’s about it. Next time, I’ll spend my $400 somewhere that remembers what “hospitality” means.
Vladyslav T — Google review
The king size room was decent. No water in rooms, only for purchase in the vending machine (which wasn't working btw) Fridge in the room did not work. They charge added tax (about $50) when you leave a $300 deposit for a room. The pool and hot tub were out of service while the staff just watched as we walked and tried to open the door that was locked. We had to literally ask for them to tell us it was out of service.. anyway. The food was very tasty and the place was clean. They do not provide toothpaste so bring your own.
Naomi A — Google review
Can’t find a better casino. They exude quality and excellent service. I even won $200 from $10 FreePlay on the first spin! Great location. Excellent restaurants, coffee shops, and boutiques. Gourmet dining if you wish. Right next to the marina. Not a far drive from downtown Atlantic City. Close to the boardwalk and other attractions. It is easy to get to your location. I will keep coming back for more.

Restaurant
Nestled within the vibrant Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa, the Borgata Buffet stands as a culinary gem in Atlantic City, offering an impressive array of dishes that cater to every palate. This buffet operates across three shifts—breakfast, lunch, and dinner—ensuring there's always something delicious waiting for you. Guests can indulge in a delightful mix of American comfort food, fresh seafood, Asian specialties like sushi and lo mein, along with expertly carved meats that include mouthwatering beef brisket.
Borgata Buffet is located inside the Borgata Hotel Casino. Dinner buffet is from 4pm to 9pm for $42.99 per person - gratuity not included- we went on a Saturday. They have great variety of food. I’m not super picky and I find that I actually liked most if not all of what they served in the buffet menu. For dessert, i really liked the plain cheesecake. Service can be better, our server seemed really busy with other tables with bigger groups. He still managed to check in on us and remove the used plates on our table but not as frequently. Still giving it a 5 star overall and would still recommend because we really liked the food.
Cris — Google review
A little bit Disappointed. While their selection is outstanding, so much food, much of it was bland. Highlights were the fresh carving station, the clams, and shrimp. I was sad about the fried chicken. Definitely need to add gravy or hot sauce. Desserts were good and plenty of choices as well. Soups were ok. Service is outstanding and you can definitely get your money worth by eating as much as you want.

This is our go to choice for dinner when we visit. We came on a Monday around 5pm.I suggest coming waiting to come to dinner until at least 4:30 if not 5 if you can because when they first open at 4 there’s already a line that builds before they even open and will cause you to have to wait a bit. When we came at exactly 5 we were able to walk up and there wasn’t a line at all! They service was great as always the server was very attentive with drinks and provided any condiments that’s we needed. The food selection is pretty wide and have some stand outs like their Prime rib which is very tender but lacked seasoning and their steak which was very well seasoned and had a variety of temperatures to choose from. They had a good of seafood as well such a mussels, clams and multiple types of shrimp. Tons of dinner sides like their delicious Mac and cheese, colllard greens, French fries, green beans and so much more. I highly recommend if they have it when you come to try their ribs, they are FALL OFF THE BONE TENDER! Then make sure you leave room for their GIANT selection of desserts! You have to try the gelato and if you happen to see the pineapple upside down cake grab it quick before it’s gone! That cake was so moist and so much flavor I wish I had room for anything slice. I promise you’ll find something for everyone here and leave more than satisfied! The only negative I can say is that I wish they kept the food replenished more often. But other than that no complaints and will always be our favorite dinner spot.

$91 for two people. Crowded but man that line was moving fast we waited about 10 mins. Staff were friendly and helpful. The food was good and a nice amount of options. The sweet tea is the best 😂

Not bad value for the price. It wasn't as big as I remember it but still a decent selection. Not a bad price for what you get. Waitress was nice.

The MGM Borgata is the most upscale casino & resort in Atlantic City. It has 5 restaurants serving up quality steaks. 🥇🥇 Therefore it is no surprise that the buffet is also a grand slam offering many quality options. I dine here often and my only complaint is the length of the line. But you can skip it if your buddy has a Platinum or Noir card 😅😅. Bring your appetite and save room for dessert 🧁. Go for the gelato Don’t forget to sneak out some mini pastries for the kids 😊😊 ✨✨BTW: if you can spot me at the buffet or baccarat table. I’ll get you complimentary entry into Amphora lounge. The food is 1 level up & free alcohol includes McCallan 12. 👍👍 HINT: look for an athletic cyclist that’s a bit flamboyant 😉😉 1/2/25 The beef brisket is outstanding! 8/29/25 Smoked salmon 🥇🥇

With buffets becoming a thing of the past, it’s nice to see one still operating. So much to choose from! Highlights are the cheese blintz, smoked brisket, mac ‘n cheese, and excellent bacon! The hand-scooped gelato (I had the chocolate) - made the meal; so creamy and delicious!

Nestled in a cozy corner of Atlantic City, Maria's Luncheonette is the perfect spot for those craving hearty American comfort food any time of day. This charming eatery boasts a nostalgic vibe with its classic black and white tiled floors, reminiscent of traditional diners. Whether you roll in at dawn or after an adventurous night out, Maria’s has got you covered with an all-day breakfast menu that features generous portions.
This was our go-to breakfast place while we were at Atlantic City. The food here is delicious and very affordable. I ordered the Maria’s Belgian Waffle delight for both days I was here and it was out of the world. I love sweet breakfast when on vacation and this checks all the boxes - fresh fruits, ice cream, waffle and whipped cream combined to perfection. My husband ate the salty ones like omelette, potatoes, french toast etc and they were all equally delicious. Highly recommend when in Atlantic City!

After bringing in the new year with my family my parents and I decided to get breakfast before heading home. We found Maria’s Luncheonette and decided to dine in. When we got there we could tell that the business was definitely booming for this restaurant. We had to wait a little over twenty minutes to be seated at the counter. It was busy and crowded with people filling all the tables and DoorDash orders coming in and out. It was a nice atmosphere with friendly customer service and delicious smelling food. The breakfast I got was good but nothing too special. It came to hot and ready to eat. The only thing I didn’t like was that my grits weren’t the best. If you’re looking for a decent sized meal for a decent price, I would recommend.

First time here after hearing rave reviews and my experience was ok. We were seated quickly but it took a while to order and get my food. The site is very busy. Staff are pleasant though. R stars for the wait and over all experience. The cost was reasonable and yes I would olive them another try. Not far from my hotel.

Walked into Maria’s Luncheonette and Baaaam! This place was packed, buzzing, and smelled like heaven. The staff was all amazing, but special shoutout to Joseline, my waitress. She was so kind, so smiley, she made our morning even better. The food? I almost swallowed my tongue. Fluffy eggs, huge omelets, crispy bacon, perfect pancakes- every bite was pure happiness on a plate. I remember it and want to eat again! No frills, just amazing diner vibes, stuff, and food. Five stars. Full belly. Big smile. I’m definitely coming back.

Came for breakfast for 2. Good italian sausage omelet and steak and eggs. Friendly and decent service. Good assortment of hot sauce. No frills type of place, always good to come back to.

Maria’s is a classic local mom-and-pop diner that’s earned its place in the neighborhood. Service was fine, though a bit slow to start after self-seating. The food, while plentiful, was bland and forgettable, the savory options lacked flavor. On the flip side, the sweet baked goods looked great and seemed to be the main draw. Prices were fair and the place stayed busy during our Saturday visit. Worth supporting for its local roots, but the kitchen could use a bit more spark.

While staying in AC, I came here for breakfast one morning. The place was packed and the service was great! I was able to score a table without a wait. There was lots of carry-out business going on during my stay. The food is typical diner fare for breakfast. The prices were really nice. The venue is typical (for a “row house” type diner) and spacious. They have lots of hot sauce options!! I tried a side dish of their corned beef hash (which is the typical “Hormel” style) done extra crispy and it came out perfect! Next up was the plain bagel with egg, cheese, & beef sausage breakfast sandwich, which was excellent and very fresh & tasty!!! Like I mentioned, service was great too… she kept an eye on my needs and they topped off coffee as needed. I can see why the reviews are so good… this place is definitely worth visiting!

The food was good. We had the Complete Breakfast and it's a lot of food. I had the eggs over easy while my kids had theirs scrambled. Both were cooked very well. It came with a stack of pancakes and they were fluffy and delicious as well. This place is highly recommended.

Nestled in the heart of New Jersey, Brittany's Cafe is a delightful little gem that serves up classic diner-style breakfast and lunch fare in a warm and inviting atmosphere. This cozy eatery is perfect for those looking to indulge in familiar favorites like fluffy pancakes, hearty breakfast sandwiches, and an array of customizable omelets. For something special, don’t miss their unique twist on Belgian waffles—imagine them topped with cinnamon, fresh fruit, whipped cream, or even ice cream!
Brittany’s has a very mom and pop vibe, which is what we were looking for after a night out. Our server Cristina was amazing, she made sure we had everything we needed. The food came out super quick and the portion sizes were great. Prices were very reasonable compared to the breakfast places in the resorts. Definitely recommend! Note: The place is relatively small so will be a little cramped for parties of more than 4. (:

Food was average, nothing special. My potatoes were cold. Not sure I'd come back. Our waitress was in training, no problem there - she was nice but the one training her not so much. Its very loud inside (think hibachi place) the place is very small and cramped. Everyone had to keep squeezing by and bumping my chair when they walked by. There are nicer places in the area I'd return to over this one but wanted to give it a try since the reviews were decent. I can now cross it off my list.

I never expected much, but the yogurt with granola and fruit came in a bigger portion than I thought. That easily enough for two people. The omelet and potatoes were decent too. I walked in without a reservation before when I called they hung up quickly and just told me to come in so your best bet is to walk in and hope for availability!

Really good food!!! The table by the window is our favorite, outdoor seating when it’s warm up. Love the French toast and breakfast sandwiches but the chicken cheese steak is our go to!!!

This is a great little spot in Atlantic City. It is 2 blocks from the beach and the outdoor eating was nice for a cool summer morning/afternoon. The portions were worth every bite. My dish came out a little cold but it was worth the price. The service was amazing. Very attentive and accommodating. Since I wasn't a usual traveler to AC, the server answered a lot of history questions and was great with small talk. I would check it out again.

Hands down, a great place to eat! The meatball sub was delicious. Loved that there was extra sauce for dipping. I personally loved the breakfast quesadilla with the verde sauce. Will be coming back! Highly recommended!

Christine was fantastic. We had a party of 7 and got sat immediately. The food was spectacular and the service was top notch. I ordered the breakfast quesadilla with hot Italian sausage and that was the best meal I had all weekend while visiting Atlantic City. 10/10 would recommend. Food was amazing, service was amazing, drinks stayed full and we could not be happier. Thank you Christine!

Our waitress was very friendly and attentive, wonderful service. I ordered the mexican omelet which was very delicious. Home fries were seasoned perfectly and the hot sauce on top made them even better. Side of bacon was nice and crispy. The toast was toasted a bit too much for my liking, but besides that all the food was cooked well. I would go back for the service alone.

Harrah's Resort Atlantic City is a high-rise property offering casual accommodations and a bustling casino. The resort features an 86,000-gallon water park with lush tropical plants, hot tubs, VIP cabanas, and an elevated deck/bar. Guests can enjoy lobster rolls and boozy slushies under the UV-absorbent glass roof. Florentinos restaurant offers an energetic exhibition kitchen and a beautiful wine bar. The resort also boasts a casino, spa, and ongoing shows for entertainment.
First time visiting. We stayed in the newly renovated section, waterfront tower, and it was very very nice. Room was spacious, up to date, clean and the bed was comfortable. I also liked the fact we had a nice view and our own thermostat. Cleaning crew was always accommodating each morning giving us clean towels. The restaurants at the hotel are a bit limited but good. During our stay we attended a pool party which was a fun time. Overall great experience and would visit again. I suggest checking in on the tablets they have vs waiting for an employee at the front desk if you want to save yourself time. We arrived on a Thursday so check in took less than 5 minutes however expect a line on the weekends. Casino for those who gamble has many options as well. Lastly parking was only $10 for our entire stay which I was very surprised about. Thanks again!

The hotel's perspective is undeniably impressive, offering a serene and awe-inspiring landscape that captivates the senses. The hotel itself is exceptional, boasting a lavish bathroom that provides ample space and practical amenities. The room is extremely comfortable, featuring a plush bed and soft linens that ensure a restful and rejuvenating sleep. Overall, the hotel is a paradigm of sophistication, with its elegant decor and luxurious atmosphere rendering it the ideal destination for those seeking a relaxing and indulgent retreat. The hotel's prime location and exceptional service only add to its allure, making it a genuinely unforgettable experience. The pool and hot tub are amazing, featuring one hot tub and one huge pool, with breathtaking scenery. It's like a globe around the pool with a beautiful sun ray 🌴🏨👏💆‍♀️🏊‍♀️

Harrahs is near Borgata and MGM and walkable if 1/2 mile isn’t too far for you. Our room in the Coastal Tower was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the shower was great set up with drop down bench. The closet needs to be taller and enclosed, however. It works for one night but if staying multiple nights, it wouldn’t have been ample for storage of clothing. I wanted to give 5 stars but elevators took forever at checkout. A kind employee directed us to a less crowded elevator in another wing which had no lines. The worst was exited the parking garage. Since everyone is checking out at the same time, something needs to be done to move cars out faster. Since the room key gives free exit, more than one employee standing at the gate, with the gate open, collecting room keys at checkout time until at least 12:30pm, would speed up the process. At the minimum, 3 employees at each gate helping to open the gate is a must.
Lori M — Google review
We chose Harrah’s mainly because the pool looked amazing in the photos — but nowhere does it say that the beautiful “main” pool is 21+ only. We came with kids expecting to enjoy that one, only to find out at the entrance that children aren’t allowed. That was a huge disappointment and something that should absolutely be made clear on the website and booking sites. There is a family pool, but it’s honestly quite small. The chlorine smell is so strong it burns your eyes, and the water was freezing cold. The deepest part is only about 3 ft 6 in, so don’t expect much swimming space. If you’re traveling with family for the pool, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere — most guests we saw left quickly once they realized what it was like. Pool hours are another issue: 10 AM to 6 PM on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday — and completely closed during weekdays. Even then, don’t expect them to open on time. I called ahead and was told 10 AM, but when I arrived, staff said 10:30, then 11:30, blaming “management coming in late.” It seems they just open whenever they feel like it. We stayed in the Laguna Tower, and to be fair, the room itself was clean and seemed recently renovated. But overall, Harrah’s is very much a casino-first property, and it really shows. For families, the lack of clear information and unreliable service made this stay far more frustrating than relaxing.
CIH — Google review
Harrah’s is a reasonably priced casino hotel with plenty to enjoy for all people. Harrah’s has a very large complete casino space, arcade, spa, decent fitness center, and mall area with a wide range of stores and restaurants. Everything looked fairly modern and nicely decorated. There’s a large pool area with a glass dome, but it costs $20 to use, which is ridiculous. As for the hotel room itself, it was about average and had all the basics one would need for a clean and comfortable stay. Most rooms have great views of the marina. For a Friday night in September, a one night stay was only $72 + fees. Overall, this is the place to stay if you want a fun casino hotel experience for a reasonable price.

⭐ Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City – Extremely Disappointing Stay I stayed at Harrah’s Resort in Atlantic City recently, and my experience was far below expectations. I booked two non-smoking rooms that were supposed to be next to each other, but they ended up being down the hall. One of the rooms (Room 912) smelled heavily of cigarette smoke, even though it was listed as non-smoking. As someone with asthma, this was unacceptable — it’s one thing to be in a public area where people smoke, but it’s another to have to sleep in a room that smells like an ashtray. The pool area, which cost $24 plus tax per person, was also disappointing. My husband had to kill a large waterbug that was walking toward our section, and about three feet away, there was another dead waterbug that stayed there for the full three hours we were there. No staff came by to clean the area at any point — we had to report it ourselves. On top of that, the lobby floor between the conference and spa section leading toward the Gelato area had a strong smell of vomit that lingered throughout our stay. It was unpleasant and unprofessional for such a well-known hotel. Good thing I only stayed for three days, because the lack of cleanliness and attention to detail made it very difficult to enjoy the visit. Between the poor room conditions, unsanitary pool area, and unpleasant odors, this was an extremely disappointing experience. I won’t be returning and hope management takes immediate steps to improve conditions
Marybeth R — Google review
I almost never leave negative reviews, but this experience was so disappointing that I feel management needs to know. The level of unprofessionalism and indifference I experienced from the security staff — especially from their manager, Kyler (if that’s even his real name) — was absolutely unacceptable. It was my birthday week, and my ID had just expired on my birthday. I had already renewed it and received a valid temporary ID. When I explained this, instead of understanding or offering help, I was told I needed to get it printed. I was sent in circles between check-in, guest services, and the business center — only to find out the business center was closed because it was Sunday. After walking around for 45 minutes just trying to print my temporary ID so I could access the pool, not one person cared enough to help. I completely understand that printing may not be a standard service, but true customer service is about empathy, effort, and problem-solving. None of that was present here. To make matters worse, when I tried to calmly explain my situation again, Kyler told me I was “blaming everyone else for my problems” and that I should “just get a new ID.” The dismissive tone, lack of accountability, and total disregard for guests were shocking. This experience ruined what should have been a simple and enjoyable part of my birthday week. Management should be outraged by the way guests are treated. No one should ever be made to feel like an inconvenience for asking for basic help.
Ebony R — Google review
When I arrived at the hotel, I inspected the bathroom and was disappointed to find that the toilet was dirty and stained. Cleanliness is very important to me, and I always ensure that bathrooms are sanitized when I travel; however, it should be the hotel’s responsibility to maintain these standards. I hope the management will improve their cleaning practices.

Diner
Johnny Rockets is an international chain that offers a retro dining experience reminiscent of 1950s diners. The themed restaurant serves classic American favorites such as hamburgers, hot dogs, and Philly cheese steaks, along with French fries, salads, milkshakes, malts, and super floats. The ambiance features toe-tapping music and swirly straws to complete the 50s-diner feel. Additionally, they offer special Rocket Kids Meals that are popular with children.
It is a nice place to go to after a long day. You have service that is nice and even funny with the little thing they gave us in the image. The place is also quite fast with delivering the food, I've been to other places that don't even have that many people, but are still way slower than this place was. Overall, the food was great! I ate absolutely everything and had no problems whatsoever. Definitely would recommend.

The food here was decent, but a few things missed the mark. The burger, which I ordered medium, came out well done, which took away some of the juiciness. The fries were disappointingly scarce.. I definitely could have used more on the plate. On the bright side, the shake was absolutely amazing, thick, creamy, and full of flavor. The service was efficient, and the food arrived in good time, which was a plus. Overall, it was an okay experience, but with a few small tweaks, it could have been much better.
Takyashilah S — Google review
Burgers were dry and not hot off of the flat top. Service was fast so it’s not like they sat waiting for pick up. Onion rings and fries were average at best. Milkshakes were no better than any fast food restaurant. Bill was $56 for two doubles, two milkshakes , fries and onion rings. The restaurant wasn’t very clean nor was it vibrant. Seems like it needs a refresh. Not going back anytime soon.

Stopped here for dinner on our vacation and was extremely impressed. The prices were decent! Under $30 including tip for two people. It was my girlfriend’s birthday and they gave her a free sundae! That was also really good. I got a burger and fries, she got a wrap. Both were good portions and delicious! I ate that burger so quick it was freakin incredible. Service was awesome, the waiter was so nice! Definitely a family friendly location. Will definitely be stopping here more than once when we visit next year!!
Jamie U — Google review
My friends and I came here for dinner on the second night of our visit. I frequented one of these establishments a lot in my childhood, so we were excited to revisit the burgers we grew up with! The overall experience was okay, with some room for improvement. I think the experience was limited because they were short staffed, but I will get into that later. We ordered our food and were clear about the order. We wanted bacon cheese fries for the table as an appetizer along with drinks, and we wanted our burgers with a side of fries served after that as main courses. This was broken down so that the order of our meal made sense, however this was completely botched. We were served our side of fries, and bacon cheese fries before we got our drinks. I do not want to see my plain side of fries unless it is served next to my burger. I did not want to PAY for a separate side of fries either, but that is beside the point. Since I was, I expected it to come out in the order we requested. We were thinking what is going on here because we did not even receive our drinks yet? I sat in front of these hot fries for over ten minutes as they cooled down before I had to flag down the server to get us our drinks we already ordered. Our server was running around left and right as if he was working out, so out of respect I am going to leave his name out of this because it is not fully his fault. You may be thinking why did you not ask for the drinks when the fries came? This is because a different worker served us our fries and we felt weird asking him for the drinks. As a customer, I am not eating french fries without my drink and I want to see my appetizer FIRST, before my main courses. This brings me to my next con, just throw the fries in there with a burger meal. I understand this is a vacation spot and things will be a little more expensive, but their serving of fries is not that big and the restaurant would not lose a ton of money adding this to a meal deal; might even bring in more customers. I would understand if this place served a mountain of fries like 5 guys, but this was a normal puddle size. The portion was not BAD, but it screams “include me with the burger this cost is very little”. I did enjoy the burger even though it was cooked a little above my liking, that said it did the job. We ordered them medium, but figured at a place like this they all come out the same way. This place also gives free soda refills which we greatly appreciated. Given the amount of time we waited for our drinks, this plus came in clutch. We enjoyed our food, but the experience was a little bit weird because of the delays and missteps. Not sure if I would come back as the boardwalk is filled with a ton of spots, but not a bad choice if you are craving burgers. One suggestion is to not have just one server do too much. It was clear this guy was all over the place and as I said before, not entirely his fault. This might be a better takeout experience, but if you are around and want to sit down for a burger you may need to wait a little bit.
Dave R — Google review
Walked from the Tropicana hotel and waited several minutes by the place order window with zero acknowledgement from staff even though multiple employees saw me (especially the male cashier who seemed to make a point of ignoring me) and I was the only one in line. Left and gave my business to anyone else

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City is a massive resort featuring luxurious rooms and suites, an array of dining options, shops, and a vibrant nightclub. The property exudes the lively atmosphere of a Vegas party with its rock memorabilia and stunning art pieces.
I personally had a great time. Unfortunately I didn't win anything. The staff were great, polite and very helpful. Our room was stunning and clean. I understand not all rooms have been updated. There were some questionable characters that were able to get access to places they shouldn't, but I never felt unsafe. I personally had a good time.

I recently stayed at the Hard Rock Atlantic City and overall had a great experience! The hotel itself has a vibrant energy and plenty of amenities to enjoy. While the property could use a bit of TLC in some areas, the staff more than made up for it with their warm and helpful attitude throughout my stay. The rooms have everything you need for a comfortable visit, though they are starting to show some signs of age and could benefit from a refresh. The surrounding area isn't the best and doesn't always feel the safest, but once inside the hotel, it feels secure and inviting. If you're looking for a fun place to stay with great service and a lively atmosphere, the Hard Rock AC is a solid choice.

Hard Rock is OK..... Was better. Ocean is at this time is way better on every level. Don't get me wrong it's a good place still. Just look at the Check in progress....... Why is the check in desks by the front doors when only like 5% of people staying at the hotel use it. 95% of people come in the car that they park in the garage. So once you park you have to walk some 1000 feet and 2 to 3 levels down past the elevators for the room to the front doors, check in to then walk right back where you just came from half way from the garage. Horrible set up..... Can tell you one thing...... Ocean is nothing like that.

Always a fun time. Lots of rock and roll memorabilia to look at all around the casino. Restaurants are good overall. Many different types of food to pick from. Slots are not bad. They need to get some new ones in. A few old school ones would be fun too. Table games are always expensive no matter the time of day.

Fiesta Buffet is a contemporary buffet restaurant located at a vast resort hotel. It offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner with classic dishes. The buffet has been newly redesigned and is known for its colorful and well-stocked offerings. Breakfast is served from 8:00 AM to 11:30 AM, followed by lunch until 2 PM, and dinner from 4 PM to 9:00 PM. Visitors have praised the delicious and fresh food as well as the friendly and attentive staff.
We loved it! We were here for Saturday brunch, yes it is not so cheap, 81$ for three of us but we spent 2 hours here and you may say had our breakfast and lunch :)) Food is good, tasty, plenty of choice, you can find everything here from meat to sweets. Pastry assortment wasthw biggest one. I recommend!

This was a delicious Buffet the food was really tasty everything was hot and fresh. All of the staff were really friendly and attentive the buffet was clean. While they did not have the largest selection everything that they had was fresh and delicious The Carving Station was absolutely amazing. I wasn't too pleased with the selection of desserts but it is a buffet so what can I ask for. we went for dinner and paid $31.95 per person on a Sunday night.

I hadn't been here in a very long time. Sunday, seated quickly. Place was pretty packed. Not much of a variety. Arrived around 4:30 which is about 30 mins. after they start dinner service. Host came with our fountain drinks pretty fast. Lets see mashed potatoes were buttery but gravy was overly salty. Yellow rice was bland, tasted liked boxed rice. Carving station had prime beef, ribs, roast beef, steak, pork chops. Porkchops were dry and bland The ribs were drenched in too much bbq sauce and roast beef also bland. Ate baby clams, mostly empty shells. Very small dessert station. Honestly I would rather pay more and get better food and larger variety such as the buffet at Caesars casino.

Yes. Yes. Yes. This was the place for a couple or large group. The place is spacious and staff was friendly and very attentive. The food was superb and one of the chefs (head chef?) occasionally came out to speak with guests and watch people enjoying the atmosphere I suppose. Whatever he was doing, I felt comfortable and welcome. Unlimited non alcoholic drinks are included with your buffet entry and this includes coffee. Prices do change depending on the time of day/service offered but still very affordable. Prices start at 20 per person for breakfast or brunch during the week and about 30 for lunch or dinner. Weekends will raise the cost slightly. I believe breakfast and brunch on weekends were no more than 10 dollars more than the weekday price. I definitely recommend this place. Above all, most times wherever you're seated, you get great views of the boardwalk and beach and the occasional wave in the Ocean. It's all very wonderful. I can't wait to go back.
Esthela ( — Google review
This is a good buffet. I only had breakfast here, but all the food was real and actually not bad. The premade eggs were a bit bland, but there is a station to make any kind of eggs or omelettes you'd like, which I did not try, but I assume is better since it's freshly cooked real eggs. Other than that everything tasted pretty good and the service was fine. We also had a decent view at our table of the boardwalk. Oh and the chocolate peanut butter cake tasted great (yes I ate some for breakfast).
Luke M — Google review
Wasn't bad but wasn't worth $30 a person plus additional money for alcoholic beverages (mimosas). My husband and I went for brunch. We didn't eat more than one plate, the food was okay. The staff were very polite.
Danielle B — Google review
Standard breakfast buffet. They have all the usuals (scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, bread, etc) then they have cooler stuff like monkey bread, blintzes, biscuit and sausage, hash, an egg station, and the ice cream machine works in the morning! (Yes, there were kids and adults having ice cream for breakfast.) There’s also a meet carving station with the driest steak of your life, and some salty ham. This place needs more vegetables for breakfast. The only veggies I got was in the custom omelet and some pepper strips from the corned beef hash. Also comes with all the coffee you want and a boardwalk view. (Wish you could see the ocean though) Overall, a solid 4/5 experience.

Next month will be my 4th time staying at Tropicana and I am hating the fact that there isn't no where good to eat at. I have also notice that you all gutted the restaurant out of the decor chairs and tables. The Fiesta Buffet was the BEST I sure do miss this place like seriously. You all should take into consideration and bring the Fiesta Buffet back. Listen to your customers as for we want you all to come back this restaurant was the best for Tropicana a good profitable money maker. The crab legs were on point shrimps were good as well as the fried chicken baked potatoes broccoli with gravy. Deserts were delicious as well so why not bring it back the reviews don't lie when the food was good both breakfast and dinner. No other buffet in Atlantic City out did Tropicana's Fiesta Buffet. PLEASE RECONSIDER!!! THIS GOES OUT TO CAESARS MANAGEMENT AND TROPICANA. THANKS... MISSING THE BUFFET SO MUCH😢

Whether it’s their perfectly seasoned gyros, burguers or pancakes, every bite is a flavor explosion! And the best part? The prices are as friendly as the staff. You get incredible quality without breaking the bank—a true win-win! So, if you’re in Atlantic City and want a breakfast that hits all the right notes, make a beeline for Billy's Gyro and Souvlaki. Trust me, your taste buds will thank you, and you’ll be dreaming of your next visit long after you’ve left!

My experience is limited and also was my first time, but I can say without a doubt that I was served one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've ever had in my life. A smoked sausage, egg and cheese on an English Muffin and a coffee. Amazing. I wish I had brought two. I was the only one in there and ordered to take out, but the staff was friendly, engaging and made sure I was good to go. The next time I will eat in and try other offerings, but this is now my official breakfast sandwich spot if I'm staying at Caesars (or Trop with a little further walk). Can't wait. And they serve liquor to go too. PLUS!

We had an excellent breakfast heree while staying at Ocean casino. Definitely worth the walk down. The omelet was delicious, the coffe was good and the waitresses were awesome. When we come back to AC we'll definitely return for breakfast at Bill's

Was looking for a restaurant that could fulfill my desire for breakfast & my husband's desire for seafood. My breakfast consisted of French toast, turkey bacon, and eggs with cheese. My husband got the ultimate seafood platter. I LOVED all aspects of my food. I tasted his fried fish and thought it was good. He felt that his meal was okay.....rated 3/5. Looking at the menu makes me want to return to try other options. Was taken off by the paper plates, but the good food made me not care as much.

My family came here for lunch and breakfast and both times were absolutely delicious. Service is top tier. Food came out so quick and I would give this place a 10 star bravo!!!

A friend recommended this place. I wasn't impressed. I don't like Gyro's but he loved it and ordered extra white sauce to go on it. I got a burger. Not the best burgers. I can't really say I enjoyed my visit. It was right on the boardwalk. I think the place has been around for a long time and people just go to see all the dollar bills taped all over the walls and chairs

Hidden gem of the boardwalk. Love the customer service and atmosphere. My only 3 visits were during the off-season(winter/spring) so the foot traffic was low. Tight quarters. Bottles available to purchase. Would recommend for Adults. Hot chocolate was amazing. All-Day breakfast. Everything we tried was amazing.

Perry's Cafe & Deli is a charming, family-owned diner that takes you back to the nostalgic vibes of a classic 70s eatery. With its retro decor and an inviting atmosphere, this spot serves up hearty American breakfast and lunch favorites that are sure to satisfy your cravings. From fluffy three-egg omelets to mouthwatering French toast and corned beef hash, every dish is crafted with care.
Cozy little diner style spot with on street parking in the area. Good food and service at a good price point. Didn't wait long for seating or food to arrive. Great breakfast option if you are staying in the area.

Perry's Cafe & Deli is a family-run diner located on Pacific Ave. They are open every day from 7AM - 3PM. After looking over the menu, I found myself torn between breakfast and lunch. There were so many tempting options to choose from! I went with the 7 oz sirloin steak and eggs. It was decent, but nothing special. The steak was cooked medium instead of medium rare, and it lacked seasoning. My friend ordered the hot jumbo biscuit with homemade sausage gravy and the pastrami Reuben, both excellent picks. The gravy was some of the best I've had, and the pastrami on the Reuben was tender and full of flavor. Our server may not have been the most personable, but she was prompt and made sure we were well taken care of. Pickup and delivery are both available.

I had the cheesesteak omelette. the home fries were chunky but so good. The stuffed french toast I was able to try a piece of was really good. Affordable pricing.

Perry’s Café is a true Atlantic City gem! I had the crab omelette and scrapple, and it was one of the best breakfasts I’ve had in a long time. The omelette was fluffy, loaded with fresh crab, and seasoned perfectly—every bite was delicious. The scrapple was cooked just right, crispy on the outside and tender inside, exactly how it should be. The service was fast and friendly, and the atmosphere had that classic, cozy diner feel that makes you feel right at home. It’s the kind of place you want to come back to again and again. If you’re in Atlantic City and looking for a hearty, flavorful breakfast, Perry’s Café is the spot. Five stars all the way!

If you're on the hunt for a buffet experience that truly satisfies, look no further than Fresh Harvest Buffet at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City. This spacious dining venue offers an impressive array of culinary delights, featuring live-action cooking and carving stations that elevate your meal to a whole new level. From succulent seafood options to mouthwatering brick oven pizzas and delightful dim sum, there's something for every palate.
Decided on this for dinner at the last minute. $42.99 for a buffet dinner that included soft drinks was reasonable. We arrived at 5pm, were seated without a wait, and our server was prompt to provide service and bring our drinks. She was also quick to clear the table and keep our glasses full. There was plenty to choose from, but the standout was the brisket. It was tasty and melted in your mouth. There were plenty of tasty desserts, including sugar-free options. Our menu did not include seafood, but there were prawns and oysters. Would definitely go back
Samantha M — Google review
I had a great experience overall. The line was super long, which should tell you something about how popular this place is! The cost is $59.99 per person—I personally think $40 would have been more reasonable, but it was still a good experience. The food was well-kept, and I appreciated how quickly spills and messes were cleaned up. I ate until I was full, so no complaints there!
Miasia S — Google review
This buffet is located inside the Hard Rock Casino, and our family stopped in for lunch during our visit. The atmosphere was clean and relaxed, and we were seated quickly. The lunch selection leaned more toward lighter Asian-inspired dishes — think simple stir-fried veggies, rice, and noodle options. While everything was fresh, it did feel a little underwhelming in terms of variety and flavor. They also had pizza and pasta, which the kids enjoyed, but nothing particularly stood out. The dessert section offered several options, including soft serve ice cream. I tried the coconut flavor, but it wasn’t really for me — the texture and taste felt a bit off. Overall, the ice cream was just okay, definitely not the highlight of the meal. What did stand out, though, was the service. Our waitress was very attentive and kind. She checked on us often and made sure our drinks were always filled and that we had everything we needed. We were curious about how the dinner menu might compare, hoping it would have more variety or heartier options, but we didn’t get a chance to try it. If we return, I’d be willing to give the dinner buffet a shot and see if it offers a stronger experience.
Margaret M — Google review
I was really looking forward to Fresh Harvest Buffet after hearing about the wide variety of food options. Unfortunately, as someone who primarily eats meat, I was very disappointed. The brisket had a strange, almost fishy taste, and both the prime rib and turkey legs were extremely dry. The meat section felt like a major letdown. On the bright side, the desserts and sides looked fantastic (even though I didn’t try them), and the service and atmosphere were top-notch — easily 5/5 in those areas. Sadly, the food itself was a big miss for me, and I left pretty disappointed overall.

My husband and I went to lunch here both days that we stayed. It was delicious and the employees are on the ball. Our server,Milton was kind, caring and professional!
Denise R — Google review
DO NOT COME!! Food left out all day, temperatures inconsistent. And we were lucky enough to have a little friend in our food. Manager told us “well our food is fresh so I don’t know what to tell you” as if we had placed the bug in our food. Proceeded to hand us a free buffet when we come back!! (Never) For $42 a person you could at least warm up the food a little bit more! You could definitely afford a bug trap or two as well! Only benefit to going was that our server was incredibly apologetic and kind.
Morgan — Google review
One a recent trip to Atlantic City, we decided to research buffets in AC, and found the Fresh Harvest Buffet at the Hard Rock Casino to be the highest rated. So, we decided to visit on a Sunday, and got there at opening, and we're seated in about 10 minutes. We paid $42.99 per person for the buffet. Our server, Andrea, was amazing and took care of us while we were there. She did a top notch job and deserves a raise! The buffet had a large range a cuisine, from prime rib and beef brisket, Italian, Chinese, a salad bar, and a raw bar. The prime rib and brisket were great and cooked perfectly. The raw bar was also amazing, with oysters and clams, and cooked shrimp...as much as you can eat! The Italian was great! Pasta, Eggplant Rollatini, pizza, and a few other dishes. The desert bar...phenomenal! The drawback to the food was the Chinese. The typical fare: General Tsos, Crab Rangoon, etc. It was low quality. But, I didn't come to this buffet for Chinese, so it didn't detract from the experience. Overall, we highly recommend this buffet. And, afterwards, enjoy the ambiance of the Hard Rock and take in the man artifacts they have to offer.
Todd T — Google review
Very disappointing. Most food was warm not hot. Carving station had only turkey no carved beef. Shrimp very small. Veggies and mashed potatoes were good. For $42.99 not worth it. Desserts were good. They have really cut down.

I had dental procedure and was limited to soups, broths and soft foods. This place had just what I needed to get me through the day. I had the soup every day (sometimes 2x) for the days I stayed, and I’ll tell you, they were all delicious! The service was also great. There is a woman cashier, Flor, who is very friendly and kind. Every time she saw me she had a nice smile and was ready to serve me. Thank you, Flor. The only thing I can say that need improvement are the prices for certain for - $7 for a plain croissant and $3 for a small thing of apple sauce (you can get a pack of 4 for practically the same amount) are bit too high. Other than that, I wouldn’t hesitate to come here again. Next time I will be able to try the rest of their foods.
Ako S — Google review
Poor service and rude employees. Their comp system always seems to be down as well. Food is so so. Many of their pastries and ready made items are definitely old and stale. It sat there long enough for the juices to be seeping out. Lines are usually long and moves slow. I guess they know you're stuck here in the casino. If you want to eat you have limited choices. You will spend your money there regardless of service and food quality.
J H — Google review
Very poor experience, order simple breakfast, bacon egg whites on a roll, oatmeal, and 2 coffees. Messed up order first croissant, noticed so went back to register to correct, host said we ordered the croissant, then changed it. Then it can without the bacon. Had to go back again then it finally came and was not very good and a pile of mess. Will not eat here again. And the roll was a little stale. The oat meal was fine. Have that if you get anything.

Diner located in Borgata. The pastrami with Swiss was excellent. It was served hot fresh from the grill. There were many dishes served hot from the grill. There are some prepared items such as sides and deserts. This is a great place to grab a bite in the casino.

They had turkey+swiss melt with some lettuce that looked and tasted way better than what they have now. Not sure why they removed the original hot pressed one but this one is okay I guess
Tekla T — Google review
My wife and I came here because we wanted something light in comparison to the buffet. What we got was two seasonless sandwiches after waiting 25mins and the costs was virtually the same as the buffet, give or take ten bucks. This place should only be frequented when everywhere else is closed, late at night.
Saracen F — Google review
If you had a bad weekend at the table and want to add to the pain this is the place to be! Waited 30 minutes for my food after 20 minutes on line to order (chicken and cheese quesadilla and bacon grilled cheese) they forgot the meat in both! Truthfully brutal if I could rate it a 0 star I would.

Hot Bagels & More is a delightful daytime eatery that goes beyond just serving bagels. This bustling spot features an extensive menu filled with breakfast favorites like French toast, pancakes, and omelets, alongside a variety of lunch options including sandwiches, burgers, and quesadillas. Known for their New York-style bagels, the establishment excels in crafting mouthwatering breakfast sandwiches that elevate your morning meal experience.
Free parking in a big open outdoor lot, bagels are $1.80 as a base. $3.85 with cream cheese. This place gives you more cream cheese than in your wildest dreams. It’s pretty amazing bc some bagel places will barely give you more than 1/5 of an inch of cream cheeses. The bagel has a lot of flavor and is a bit dense but it’s a great meal when you are hungry bc of the substantial amount of cream cheese. They also sell tubs of cream cheese (Philadelphia cream cheese $5.49 or house blends like vege cream cheese $8 ish) by itself waiting for you in the fridge. I would prefer a chewy and fluffy thick puffy bagel but bc the cream cheese was amazing I give this place 5 stars.

I'm obsessed with this quaint breakfast spot! It's my go-to for a delicious, no-frills morning meal that never disappoints. The bagel sandwiches are a game-changer - I've tried countless combinations, and each one is a flavorful masterpiece. But what truly sets this place apart is the exceptional service. The staff is consistently warm, friendly, and attentive, making every visit feel like a welcoming experience. I love experimenting with their menu, and my latest discovery is the incredible LOX Sandwich. I devoured it so quickly, I didn't even have a chance to snap a photo before it was gone! If you're looking for a reliable breakfast joint with amazing eats and top-notch service, look no further.
Sal I — Google review
First of all, I want to say the majority of the food was good. I had placed the breakfast order online to pick up just within 20 - 30 minutes. I got the food promptly within that timeframe. Unfortunately, the kitchen forgot to add the avocado, I ordered for 2.50$ more. It goes with the garlic bagel with bacon. I will provide an image of the bagel with the bacon and a copy of my receipt. The other issue was the home fries for my father’s egg platter were undercooked. Overall, it is solely on this restaurant to prepare the food as ordered. It’s disappointing to not get what’s being order right. It’s possible the kitchen could not recognize the term written on the receipt using the acronym AVO for avocado. As a restaurant owner myself, I understand mistakes can happen but unless customers provide feedback, mistakes go unnoticed.

The food was good—not groundbreaking, but definitely enjoyable and satisfying. If you're in Ventnor and looking for a quick, casual breakfast spot, this place is worth checking out. The French toast was perfectly cooked with just the right amount of sweetness, and the breakfast burrito was flavorful and filling. Both dishes were fresh and well-prepared. Keep in mind, the seating is limited, so there may be wait times on weekends. Overall, a solid local spot for a tasty breakfast on the go!

Favorite brunch spot in Ventnor by far! I keep coming back and getting the caramel banana french toast and the pistachio latte. We went for breakfast with our 16 month old baby and absolutely loved the food. Service was great , wait time was very short about 5-10 min. This place is amazing. The bananas fosters french toast might be the best sweet breakfast I've ever had. The restaurant is light, airy and pretty, and the service is great. Our server Stacey was the best. 10/10, can't wait to come back.

After the pool, we decided to try Harper’s for brunch. When we first arrived, we were told no bathing suits were allowed, which was fine—we agreed to come back. I do wish they had taken our names to hold a spot, though, because when we returned there was about a 30-minute wait. Once seated, service was quick—our server came over right away. I ordered a cocktail (can’t remember the name), but it tasted like straight juice with no hint of alcohol. I gave it another try with a different drink, but it was the same, so I stopped after two and ended up getting a proper drink elsewhere afterward. For food, I ordered Chicken and Waffles. Unfortunately, it was disappointing. The waffles were dense and cold, the chicken lacked seasoning, and while the deep-fried onions on top were an interesting touch, they didn’t make up for the overall lack of flavor. Prices were reasonable, but with so many other brunch options in Atlantic City, I’d definitely try somewhere else next time.

Tropicana Atlantic City is a Cuban-inspired property located on the Boardwalk. It features a casino, an indoor shopping atrium, theaters, and various dining options. The hotel offers 2,047 rooms and suites along with a 200,000 square-foot entertainment complex. Guests can enjoy two pools, an IMAX Theater, comedy club, and a spa without having to leave the resort.
We stayed in a premium suite with an excellent window view of the ocean. The downside was upon entering the room it had a smell of like wet carpet in a nonsmoking room whereas my daughters room was a jr suite upon entering her room it actually smelled very fresh for a smoking room. Smelled better than ours. We are use to housekeeping automatically cleaning and refreshing towels coffee etc daily. I had to call 1st morning as we had no wash clothes in bathroom we took showers using hand towels for wash clothes 👎. We only had 1 and a half rolls of toilet paper. We learned when we called for wash clothes that they don't refresh nothing unless you request it yet I'm pretty sure we were charged a fee for it. Our daughter's room was again a jr suite in smoking. She had wash clothes a full length mirror and a huge shower with full bench. She too had an ocean view but not quite as nice as our premium room. The premium room was spacious with 2 tv's one facing the king bed which was behind a wall hidden from a living room type area. It also had a large table which was nice for 4 of us to play cards. It only had 2 chairs but we utilized the desk chair and a living room chair so it worked out. For a premium suite size was right but decor was basic, as for the bed best part was the pillows, bed was kinda hard. Didn't have a luxury vibe.

The conceirge desk for checking in was not what I expected. Betsey the Service Manager is a disgrace. While checking in she told the whole area how much my bill was. Then she accused me of freezing their financial system as I was trying to pay. I was livid because how is that my fault. I was also told that I had to pay a deposit fee. I am a rewards card member so I am entitled to things other patrons are not entitled to. They asked if i want to upgrade but can't check in early. Was lied to twice saying that to check in you have to pay a fee of $15 then $17. So which is it????? Then they tried giving me a room that I did not register for and it was almost like pulling teeth out of a lions mouth dealing with these folks. Then they tried making my stay unbearable so that I would leave. The ac was on. Tom Quinn the Maintenance Supervisor was suppose to put in a request to have this corrected but he did not so I waited an hour not knowing no request was put in. I had to wait an additional hour. Then someone altered my television from analog to digital the 1st night. The water was being tampered with as well from cold to hot to hot. Did all this so I would leave. I stayed because no one gets to treat me this way and think they will get away with this. I am sure this not their 1st time doing this that Mr. Quinn said I was complaining about being cold. I heard him in the hallway. He felt very comfortable with doing this. My 1st vacation stay here and this is how guest are treated like DAY OLD TRASH and won't be my last. During which time I was COMPLAINING ABOUT BEING COLD. They finally brought me a blanket and claimed something was backed up. Liars. I was very sick for a whole day and still trying to recover. The racism is THICK HERE and you can smell the stinch through funky stank smoke air. According to Jasmin, i was told if i go to another room it is an upgrade, which i is not. As you can see these trifling folks is in the business of lying. Just know i will be returning.

We stayed in a premium room in the Havana Tower and had a pleasant stay. The bed was comfortable, room clean and quiet, and the views were incredible. We like the location of the Havana tower for being close to parking and all the shops/restaurants in the Quarter. Not too far from the Casino, however, it is a bit of a schlep to get down to the boardwalk or the pool. The Tropicana has tons of dining and shopping options and lots of slot machines to choose from. Ventilation in the casino could be better and it can definitely get crowded. The pools are quite small, however, the ocean is right there. We enjoyed our short trip to Tropicana and would definitely stay in the Havana Tower again.
DWF — Google review
We stayed at the Tropicana on 10/3 for a concert. I was NEVER recommend this hotel to anyone. We stayed in the Chelsea tower. Our room was outdated. It looked like it was from the 80s with dirt under the tables in the room from the 80s dirt in the vents. And AC barely worked. Not to mention an insect problem. I was bite by something while sleeping in my bed in the night. I will attach a photo taken in the hotel room of the bite when I woken up to my arm burning with the bite at 4:30 in the morning.

Tropicana is a great casino still thriving in Atlantic City. No it’s not the “newest” “nicest” hotel however it’s got a lot of stuff to do within the resort and located right on the boardwalk for a great price. I also walked around every casino during my week trip in the height of tourist season and Tropicana by far had the most people inside the casino gambling. I don’t even know how some of the other casinos are still alive because nothing was quite like Tropicana. My room was updated and clean. However if you don’t like cigarette smoke, don’t come here. Although other casinos allow smoking I didn’t smell it much inside them, which could just be from a general lack of people at other casinos but just know smoking is allowed and very prevalent. I had a non smoking room and didn’t smell any smoke in my room. I also didn’t smell any weed to my surprise anywhere in the hotel. My only complaint and I don’t know how this hasn’t been addressed yet is the lack of signage helping people find their towers. It’s probably the most confusing resort because of its size and lack of signage I have ever been too. Once I figured it out it was fine but it was extremely difficult to find North tower and you don’t see one sign for a half mile into the resort for it if you check in by Havana. You also need more signs pointing to elevators on room floors. Either way I’ll be back again soon!

No daily cleaning unless you request it. Parking lot is filthy. Room tv channels limited. Bathroom was okay and bed was okay. Checking in took too long. Ask for upgrade to the Havana tower if you go. Guests cannot check out on machine before 9am. So be prepared!

We stayed in the South Tower. The room was recently renovated and very clean! The casino had a lot to offer and, since my husband and I were away for my birthday, we didn’t want to be around a lot of kids, so the distance from the boardwalk amusements and other casinos made it great for that. The adult only pool helped, too. We would definitely stay there again.

Have stayed at the trop a few times. They sometimes do a bad job of handling late night noise complaints. Weve run into this issue enough times where we wont stay here anymore. As in drunk idiots partying in their rooms at 2AM, and security does nothing about it after being contacted. The casino is nice with plenty of gaming, and a mall to walk through. They also have a nice variety of food options from quick and affordable to higher end choices. We stop into the Trop each time we pass through AC, but is not a choice for staying on the boardwalk. Better to choose Ocean or even just the Claridge. Off season (winter) is probably passable since the place is dead at that time.

Nestled in the charming Margate City, Bocca Coal Fired Bistro is a contemporary restaurant and lounge that effortlessly blends casual bar fare with upscale Italian cuisine. This vibrant spot is perfect for any occasion, whether you're craving a hearty burger or an elegant seafood dish. The menu boasts an array of delicious options, including their standout pork sandwich that packs just the right amount of flavor.
Awesome spot half way between AC and OCNJ. Delicious pizza - Regular and cauliflower crust available. Try the Brussel spouts - wow soooooooo good! We come here often and service is always friendly and fast. Food is fresh and hot. Nice atmosphere and cool vibe. Menu print is small so bring readers if you got ‘em :) parking is tough during busy times.

The food here is delicious and the service is always friendly & on point. Fun atmosphere and great bar. The new menu is full of tasty options, from the appetizers, to the pizzas and dinners - you really can't go wrong. I love to get a pizza and an order of steamers, and then dip the pizza crust in the clam broth. Can't forget the Thai tail tenders either. Whether you’re popping in to catch the game, hear some live music, or just grab a quick bite, Bocca won’t disappoint.

I don’t usually do reviews but I just really needed to say something. The food here is straight up not good. We ordered wings which came out bone dry with barely ang meat on them. I did order the sauce on the side but I didn’t think that would affect the wing. We both ordered two steak frites, which took a while to come out (we ordered it medium, not sure how long it takes to cook, so no complaints.) When it did come out it smelled odd, almost tangy. I’ve had steak frites before and this was nothing like it. I understand all restaurants cook differently but this smell was just wrong. Now the taste, the only good thing about this dish was the fries. The vegetables it came with tasted like burnt plastic, I couldn’t even swallow it. The meat had little to no flavor. The only thing I tasted was the char from the grill. I had to dump salt and pepper all over our steaks to make them at least edible. However, the FOH was very nice. As we were getting our entrees it started getting busy so we weren’t able to say anything. Just be careful with what you’re ordering.

Met family here for dinner before a show, great variety of food I thought. Chicken parm, Margherita pizza, was really good! Maybe pricey, but maybe not for this area, we aren't from here. Service was great! Also noticed they have specials. So check that out. Thank you!

Update July 2023 Still a great spot. Everything is delicious. They have a lot of different choices on the menu, so there is something for everyone. ------- (We got take out so I think some things would be better in the restaurant) First of all, for 4 people they got the ENTIRE order correct down to the condiments. The crab clusters were cooked to perfection. The french fries were excellent as were the waffle fries. The salmon was tasty but the "wilted spinach" was very well cooked on lots of garlic and capers. It was not what I was expecting given the name, but it was ok. I think most people like it that way but I prefer it fresh, bright green and wilted. The burger was great. Applewood bacon and cheddar. We were glad they had a few vegan-friendly options. Definitely will go back. Great to have such a great neighborhood spot.

Had a great night at Bocca. My son was there to play jazz music on Saturday night so we met some friends for dinner. It was busy so we sat at the bar. (I don't usually sit at the bar), but our bartender/server Rachael was awesome. She was attentive and our food came out fast, hot and tasty. They scored a new chef who has a lot of experience around town and the new menu items look super appealing. We had two pizza's and a few appitizers. As always, we love seeing Pete the manager.

Went with a large group, and the wait staff and food were excellent. We got a variety of food and it was all great. Service was attentive and the server caught an error in our order before we even mentioned it. Drinks were good too!

Was far from good. Thank God for ketchup!! Ordered a cheesesteak and friend got salmon. Even the drinks were far from tasty. French fries were nicely fried though
