Sunset Point in Kasauli is a popular destination for nature lovers and couples seeking romantic views. Located near the Kasauli Club, this lookout offers breathtaking vistas of the sun setting behind the majestic Himalayan mountains. Visitors can also enjoy sunrise views from this point, making it an ideal spot to start the day. The area surrounding Sunset Point is known for its misty wooded peaks and tranquil valleys, providing a serene atmosphere for quiet walks and photography opportunities.
A beautiful experience, and actually magical which will leave you confused whether it's dawn or dusk. A easy walk about 30 mins to one hour, but you won't feel the pinch. As the walk is through beautiful ancient british era bungalows and trees, and flowers blooming. Just near sunset point is a small cafe. I didn't like cafe much as it was filled with plastic (selling items). The walk was beautiful and so was the timing. It felt like looking at a sea with mountains, and the sun dipping. We were there for an hour until the sun finally went in. Beware of the monkeys, don't feed them please. Don't try to shoo them either, just walk your path and they would be fine. Please don't litter this beautiful place, the army takes in a lot of effort to keep it open to the rest of country. We should respect that.

I've been visiting Kasauli Sunset Point regularly over the past 15 years — around 15 to 20 times — and it never loses its charm. This spot holds a special place in my heart for its peaceful and calming atmosphere. The serenity here is unmatched, especially on quiet weekdays when you can truly absorb the beauty of nature without distractions. The view during sunset is breathtaking, and if you’re lucky to catch it on a cloudy day, the place turns magical — almost surreal. The best time to visit is from September to December, when the weather is pleasant and the skies are clear. Tip: Try to avoid weekends (Saturday & Sunday), as the place tends to get crowded with tourists from nearby states. On such days, the peaceful charm fades and the area feels more like a regular park rather than a serene hill station. If you're someone who appreciates quiet moments and scenic beauty, make sure to plan your visit during weekdays. Kasauli Sunset Point is truly a gem — a peaceful escape that deserves to be treated with care and respect.
Amit K — Google review
One of the most beautiful sunset views I’ve ever seen—peaceful hills, glowing skies, and a calm vibe that’s hard to describe. It's nature’s therapy. I visited on a weekend and found it a bit crowded, so try going on a weekday for a quieter experience. There are two small eateries nearby for chai and snacks—simple but perfect. ✨ Tips: – Arrive 20–30 mins before sunset for the best spot – Wear a light jacket (it gets breezy) – Avoid weekends if you prefer less crowd – Carry your camera—every angle is a wallpaper
Nitin S — Google review
A peaceful spot offering beautiful valley views, especially during sunset. Located 3 km from Mall Road - 2 km by taxi and 1 km walk required. The area is well-maintained by the Air Force and a small play area. Arrive 20-30 minutes early as the sunset happens quickly.
T R — Google review
The place has a really nice atmosphere and peaceful vibes. It’s surrounded by natural beauty and is known for its amazing sunset view. Unfortunately, I couldn’t see the sunset properly because the weather was bad that day. Still, it felt refreshing to visit — definitely worth coming back on a clear day!
Tanmoy P — Google review
A Golden Farewell at Sunset Point, Kasauli Sunset Point in Kasauli truly lives up to its name, offering a spectacular view as the sun dips below the horizon, painting the sky in vibrant hues of orange, pink, and purple. It's a must-visit for anyone in Kasauli seeking a tranquil and picturesque experience. Getting there is quite easy. You can enjoy a pleasant walk from the main parking area, which is a great way to take in the serene surroundings. Alternatively, taxis are readily available to drop you closer to the viewpoint, making it accessible for everyone. The sunset itself is the main draw here, and it's absolutely mesmerizing. The panoramic views of the valleys and distant peaks make for a stunning backdrop, perfect for photography or simply soaking in the natural beauty. A crucial tip: Don't bother visiting on a cloudy day! The entire purpose of the point is to witness the sunset, and if the sky is overcast, you'll be left disappointed. Plan your visit for a clear evening to ensure you get the full experience. Be prepared when you go, as there are no shops or vendors at Sunset Point. Remember to carry your own water bottles and any snacks you might need to stay hydrated and energized while you enjoy the view. Overall, a highly recommended spot for a beautiful end to your day in Kasauli!
Varun K — Google review
Nice point to view nature and deep valley , must go ahead till the end, there is a rain shelter, go further behind it and see the magic, although rainy days are best to see but if you're before peak afternoon you can still enjoy the pleasant views
Ojas P — Google review
If you're in Kasauli, you simply can't miss this. Watching the sunset from this point is a breathtaking experience. Seeing the sun dip behind the hills and paint the whole sky in shades of orange, pink, and red is just magical. It's the perfect way to end the day. The atmosphere is incredibly peaceful, with a cool breeze and a panoramic view of the valleys below. It makes you feel so calm and connected to nature. Whether you're a tourist or a local, making your way here for the evening is 100% worth it. It’s the highlight of Kasauli!

Churches & Cathedrals
When exploring Kasauli, a visit to Christ Church is a must for travelers seeking a blend of heritage and spirituality. This historic church dates back to the British rule and showcases architectural splendor with stained-glass windows and a clock tower. Located near Mall road, it offers a tranquil environment that provides insight into the region's colonial past and spiritual heritage. The church's serene ambiance makes it an essential stop for cultural enrichment in any Kasauli itinerary.
It is one of the most mesmerizing, peaceful, and spiritual places I have ever been to. Because it is placed nearby the market or parking stand you can easily go there by foot. This parking space (50 Rs. for two wheeler) is for all tourists as vehicles from other places are not allowed in that area. Only taxis can go towards the sunset point and Gill Beet Trail. The church is surrounded by tall deodar trees, feels like a serene oasis. It's stunning example of Gothic architecture, with its stained glass windows beautifully shows the scenes of Jesus Christ and Mother Mary.  The wooden interiors and sloping roof give it an enchanting, old-world charm. A number of tourists come to visit this Church especially on weekends. Even if you are not religious, you will find yourself drawn to its beauty and serenity and it is truly magical. The church is well-maintained, clean, and has a rich history that you can learn about from the friendly people there. Officially, the photography is not allowed inside, you can capture some gorgeous pictures outside as the church framed by the lush surroundings. At this church, you can experience the glimpse of history, beauty, and spirituality together. It is must visit placed in Kasauli.

An old style British era church reminds you of an epic journey to a place stationed somewhere in memories. The architecture of the church is very nice and you can spend some quiet time with God here. Inside the atmosphere is very nice and peaceful. Now this church attracts many tourists and it is just a few meters away from new parking Kasuali.

Christ Church, Kasauli – A Peaceful Hilltop Retreat with a Touch of History Nestled in the serene hills of Kasauli, Christ Church is a beautiful and calming place to visit, especially if you're someone who enjoys peaceful environments and colonial charm. Located at the heart of this quaint hill station, the church stands as a quiet reminder of British-era architecture, with its stunning Gothic design, stained-glass windows, and tall pine trees surrounding it. The church is not just a religious spot but also a perfect place for travelers seeking tranquility. The calmness of the area, the cool breeze, and the scenic views make it ideal for reflection, photography, or simply sitting and soaking in the peace. Being one of the oldest churches in Himachal Pradesh (built in 1853), it carries historical significance too. What makes it special: Situated in a picturesque hill station, surrounded by lush greenery and colonial-era buildings. Offers a calm and peaceful atmosphere, away from the chaos of city life. Great spot for history lovers, architecture enthusiasts, and nature seekers. Just a short walk from Mall Road, making it accessible for all. One downside to keep in mind is the presence of monkeys in the area. While they generally don’t bother visitors if left alone, it's advisable not to carry food openly or engage with them. Pro tips: Visit during early morning or late afternoon for the best experience. Avoid feeding or teasing monkeys. Carry a camera – the church and its surroundings are truly photogenic. Whether you're in Kasauli for a weekend getaway or just passing through, Christ Church is definitely worth a visit for its timeless charm and peaceful vibes.

On a recent visit to Kasauli, I had the pleasure of visiting Christ Church, and it was a truly serene and memorable experience. We went on a Saturday morning, and to our delight, there was no wait, allowing us to enter and explore at our own pace. The church itself is a beautiful example of neo-Gothic architecture, with a peaceful and timeless atmosphere. Inside, the stunning stained-glass windows depicting Christ, Mother Mary, and St. Francis and St. John are the main attraction. The vibrant colors and intricate details are breathtaking, especially when the light streams through them. It's the kind of artistry that makes you want to sit and contemplate for a while. A unique and touching part of the visit was the opportunity to buy candles for prayer. You simply sit inside the church, and a caretaker comes around to offer candles. There's something deeply personal and humbling about lighting a candle in such a historic and spiritual space. It’s a simple act that adds a layer of personal reflection to the visit. The overall feeling is one of tranquility and calm. It’s a place to escape the hustle and bustle, to find a moment of peace, and to appreciate the history and architecture. The lack of crowds on a Saturday was a major plus, making the experience even more intimate. Whether you are a history buff, a spiritual seeker, or just looking for a quiet place to sit and think, Christ Church is a must-visit in Kasauli.

A truly serene and beautiful spot in Kasauli! This old British-era church, with its stunning Gothic architecture and peaceful atmosphere, offers a perfect escape for quiet reflection. Surrounded by tall deodar trees and close to the market and parking, it’s easily accessible. The stained glass windows and wooden interiors add a magical charm. A must-visit for history lovers and anyone seeking tranquility!

A historic Neo-Gothic church built in 1853, located on Mall Road. Features stunning glass windows imported from England and beautiful architecture set among pine trees. The location offers peaceful valley views with natural pine fragrance. Mostly open on weekends for tourists.

The Christ Church Kasauli situated close to the bus stand, was constructed by the the British family who founded the town of Kasauli itself. The church is a magnificent structure built in the shape of a cross. Set amidst a grove of chestnut and fir trees, the church offers quiet and tranquil atmosphere. Earlier the church was known by the name of Anglican Church. In the year 1970, the church was brought under the aegis of the CNI (Churches of North India). It is currently managed by the diocese of Amritsar. The Christ Church is the prime building in the centre of the heritage area of Kasauli town and as one enters the main town, this is the first building which comes to view. This church was previously an Anglican church and was founded in the year 1844,😇🙏
Reena — Google review
A very beautiful church built in 1800s by the Britishers. Marvellous architecture, very similar to other churches established by the Britishers in various hill stations across India. The church is open from morning till a little post sunset. The church has guards ensuring one doesn't litter it and create nuisance. There is a washroom and parking nearby. The church is very close to the basement parking at kasauli i.e. the moment you enter the hill station fee barrier. A must go, once you are here.

Aye I'm on vacation A must to visit point in Kasauli which is just 2.5 hours drive from Chandigarh. The newly made highway between Kalka, Parwanoo and Solan is very well maintained especially during night drive. But as you enter Kasauli and heading towards the Sunrise Point, the road built quality is quite poor. But the awesome weather and chill winds will excide you the most. One is pushed to bring his Crush to this place to enjoy the happiest moment.

Beautiful scenic view from this place known as Sunrise Point. If you're nature lover and want peace then you must visit this place. Around 1.5Km away from Kasauli Mall /Bus Stand. 20-25Mins walking from mall road with beautiful natural view throughout the walking. Though you can drive your own vehicle upto this point but parking is riskier and may cost you upto Rs 2500 fine if found your vehicle parked unattended.

Our recent walk along Gilbert Trail in Kasauli was an excellent experience, and I can't recommend it enough. The trail offers a perfect blend of natural serenity and stunning vistas. The highlight for me was the sheer beauty of the surroundings. The air was filled with the sound of rain, which created a truly enchanting atmosphere. The trail is a showcase of different varieties of flora and fauna, with lush greenery and towering pine trees creating a captivating backdrop. We spotted several different kinds of birds, and the air was filled with their calls, making the walk even more enchanting. The views from the trail are absolutely breathtaking. We were lucky enough to visit on a day when the clouds were putting on a show, offering us fleeting glimpses of the magnificent mountains. The misty atmosphere and the ever-changing views created a truly magical and memorable experience. The trail itself is a relatively easy walk, making it accessible for people of all ages to enjoy the natural beauty without a strenuous trek. Overall, the Gilbert Trail is a must-visit for nature lovers and anyone seeking a peaceful escape. It's an excellent way to connect with the local ecosystem and soak in the majestic views of the Himalayas. We left feeling refreshed and inspired by the natural wonders we witnessed.

Great peaceful trail or a trek. It's on the same road further ahead of sunset point. While walk to sunset point is on a road, for Gilbert trail one has to take a right from the same road further 600-700 meters ahead.Full trail is 8-10 kms around the mountains and is a rocky path. Not recommended for elderly and need to be careful with small kids. The walk is in peaceful surroundings and views are good.

Manki Point, also known as Sanjeevni Hanuman Temple, is a small Hindu temple located on a hilltop in Kasauli. The temple is dedicated to Lord Hanuman and is home to many monkeys. Visitors can enjoy sweeping views of the surrounding area from the top of the hill. The temple was recently reopened after being closed due to Covid-19 restrictions. Visitors are not allowed to bring cameras or phones and must deposit all bags at the check point before proceeding on foot.
A visit to Hanuman Ji temple is truly rewarding! Be prepared for a hard trek and a long walk with many stairs — it’s definitely challenging. But once you reach the top, the peaceful atmosphere and beautiful views make it all worth it.”

Everything A grade, only to reach there especially for elderly is bit difficult. As vehicles are not allowed and got to walk steep road for 4 to 5 km is difficult . Govt should start e rickshaws for public.
Rakesh K — Google review
This is the highest point of Kasauli. Took a cab all the way up to the air force sub station. From there it was a 30 min climb (would have been much faster if I was alone). It is just a lot of stairs but they are nicely paved and well maintained. Senior citizens and even 70+ year olds also come up if they take a lot of rest in between (there are places to sit and rest). The temple at the top has a peaceful vibe. There are monkeys here and you'll be instructed to not carry food in your hand. If you have the "prasadam" from the temple, carry them in your pockets. This is also known as the Monkey point or Manki point. Our cab driver told us "Manki" is not a spelling error but refers to the hindi word "mann ki" (something related to heart/soul) but not sure about it's authenticity. The main downside of visiting this place is that it is close to the air force station and all electronic devices are prohibited - meaning no photography at all. Most of the pics you see here on this pin are actually from different places in Kasauli (added erroneously ...smh). Some pictures of the temple can be taken from a km away from the Gilbert Trail if you zoom in. There is a paid locker where you submit your bags and devices and go for the hike.
Maharshi R — Google review
Temple is located at 6500 feets. 300 steps to climb. Only taxis are allowed from Mall Road Car Parking or you trek for an hour. Mountain views are awesome. It is believed that during Lord Hanumans flight from himalayas bringing Sanjeevani booti his left foot was rested on this hill and hence the importance of this place. Mobiles, photography etc strictly prohibited 🚫 in this area.
CA. G — Google review
Its a beautiful temple located on mountain top of kasauli. The visiting time is till 4pm all around the year and 1-2 is lunch time. There is no Entry fee. Taxi service is available from mall road to manki point for 200-250 rupees per person but I would highly recommend to cover the beautiful trail on foot as you get to enjoy the beautiful path. Its is hardly 3-4 kms and an easy trail. If you are lucky enough you get to see the valley covered with beautiful flowers specially during monsoon (mid July- September end). Or you can choose the small path going via sunset point which connects to manki point in between and is about 1-1.5kms and slightly steep. Phones, smart watches and bags are not allowed inside the temple area as it is a Cantt area and you can submit your belongings by paying some charges. Carry cash as you will be needing it for buying food/water inside the temple premises. After entering the cantt area, temple is half kilometer on top with 282 stairs. You can enjoy the view from top. Beware of monkeys if carrying food items.
Pratiksha N — Google review
the Sanjeevani Hanuman Temple is a must visit place in kasauli. Located atop a mountain, the temple is accessible only by foot. Be aware that it's situated within an Air Force station, meaning no mobile phones or electronic devices are allowed inside. A paid locker facility is available to store your belongings before you proceed. Security checks are mandatory before entering the temple area. Please note that many Google Maps photos for this location are inaccurate due to the no-phone policy; they often depict other Kasauli locations. Despite these restrictions, the temple itself has a wonderful, peaceful atmosphere and is definitely worth the trek. One important tip: monkeys are abundant, so don't carry food items or other stuff in your hànd and it's advisable to visit in a group.

Its cant area photography is not allowed , but the place is awesome My recommendation travel to temple by walking ,its different experience but not in summer And beware with monkeys No need to buy ticket in advance , just check the lunch timing for entry

Amazing experience, slightly tiring as you have to climb your way and it’s steep. You get a beautiful view of Kasauli from the top, as it’s the highest point there and certainly hold high religious value and gives peace. A must visit place, if you are in Kasauli. No entry fee, no electronic gadget or cameras allowed but they have a paid counter to deposit your belongings safely.

Cafe Shubhmita is a popular spot in the heart of Kasauli, offering both indoor and outdoor seating. The cafe boasts an extensive menu featuring a variety of dishes such as pizzas, burgers, sandwiches, shakes, and desserts. Visitors can expect a relaxed atmosphere to enjoy quality time with loved ones. Despite some minor drawbacks like unavailable items and slightly higher prices, the overall experience at Cafe Shubhmita is highly praised for its delicious food and pleasant ambience.
While enjoying the scenic beauty and charming market of Kasauli hills, I, along with Dr. Bahadur Singh, his son Jorawar Singh, and Architect Gurjot Singh, came across Cafe Shubhmita. The ambiance of the café was warm and inviting, decorated with framed newspaper cuttings from British times and many other interesting pieces that give it a nostalgic charm. We ordered Maggi, coffee, tea, brownie cake, and Himachali siddu – everything was delicious and full of flavor. It was a delightful experience to relax here and enjoy good food with such a beautiful view. Overall, Cafe Shubhmita is a cozy spot to unwind, taste local flavors, and soak in the vibe of Kasauli. A must-visit if you are in the area!

The food is great, location is good as is its ambience. Must visit if you are in Kasauli. Name of the cafe is also really creative. 🤓 Some of the food items were unavailable, which can be improved and the prices are also a bit high. Overall it was a great experience.

We visited Café Shubhmita in the Kasauli Cantonment area and had a great time. It’s a wonderful spot with a peaceful ambience and a scenic location, perfect for relaxing over a meal. The food was delicious — we enjoyed pizza, pasta, iced tea, and coffee, all of which were really good. I was hoping for a cup of adrak wali chai, but unfortunately, it wasn’t available. One suggestion would be to have a proper washroom facility, which was missing. Also, be mindful of the monkeys in the area. Despite that, it’s a lovely café worth visiting for its vibe and food quality.

Cafe Shubhmita is a small, quaint cafe just a few minutes up the Mall Road. We ordered a Plain Maggi, Bubblegum Mojito, Cold Coffee and Siddu. The drinks were decent. Portions were enough for 2 people. Their pricing is justified for the food and service they offer. The Siddu is definitely a must-try. One of the best that I have had in Himachal over the years.

Food was awesome. Everything we ordered was served fresh and was good in taste, quality and quantity. Prices are genuine. Ambience was good and comfy. It is calm and compose with lite music in the background. Shubham is a great host, he was very friendly. Definitely worth a visit, would love to come again on my next trip to kasauli ❤️.

Located at a relatively less crowded Upper Mall road with great vibe. Excellent hospitality by the owner. Tried their Fresh Farm Pizza which exceeded my expectations. A gem of a cafe in Kasauli, great for an evening date or just friends' hangout.

Very beautiful. Very comfortable. At a very good location. It is just above the Christ Church Kasauli at a walking distance. Beautiful ambience, interiors, and very airy. It is a beautiful experience sitting there and eating. Food quality is good but they do not have much variety in food, there are only very few dishes. But it a must place to go for a quick bite. Prices are very reasonable.

Was blown away with the two visits we had over a course of two days. Amigos hit each box on food, presentation, ambience but there was a teeny tiny issue we noticed. The location is not disabled friendly, so elders may find it tough to access restaurant as there is no handrail or ramp. I know it is a big ask in the hills, but would love for more people to experience the magic of the pine groved best eatery around. Another thing may be a slightly earlier opening for breakfast! Will definitely revisit and recommend highly!

Charming Cafe Stop in Kasauli – A Hidden Gem with Scenic Views We discovered this delightful little cafe by chance while heading to our hotel in Kasauli. Though it has limited seating—both indoor and outdoor—the setting is cozy and inviting. There's ample parking, which is a big plus in the hills. We tried the mezze sampler and garden pizza, paired with some refreshing fresh lime drinks. The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavourful, and thoughtfully presented. While the prices are on the higher side, the quality and taste make it worthwhile. What truly sets this place apart is the stunning valley view, especially if you manage to grab an outdoor table. It’s a peaceful and scenic spot—perfect for a relaxed lunch. Definitely a must-visit if you’re in Kasauli!

The garlic bread at Amigos, Kasauli, is crisp and buttery with a nice punch of garlic, making it a perfect starter. The spaghetti is cooked well, with a homely flavor and balanced seasoning, offering a comforting meal in the hills.

Dochi - Pizzeria & Coffee House is a hidden gem located near Kasauli, offering authentic wood-fired pizzas and a cozy coffee house experience. The staff is known for their helpful recommendations and outstanding service, while the cafe provides exceptional views of the valley. The warm and friendly hosts create an inviting atmosphere, making it a great place to hang out. With carefully selected menu items, including gluten-free options, this pizzeria offers fresh and delicious pizzas baked in front of you.
Pizza is delicious. Their Half and Half option is great. You get to taste two pizzas at once. Pricing a bit higher I must say. But this place at Village Dochi is a must must must go and try type of place. If it's raining a bit please tread carefully because road to the village is not made per se. But also rainy weather makes visit to the place more soothing
Narender C — Google review
Tucked away on a misty bend in Kasauli, Dochi becomes something special when the skies turn grey. On a rainy afternoon, it wasn’t just a pit stop, it felt like a pause from the world, made richer by the scent of fresh dough rising and firewood crackling in the background. The pizza that arrived was a perfect visual, split right down the middle, half stacked with spicy pepperoni and the other layered with chicken, feta, and a tangle of rocket leaves. The pepperoni side was bold and satisfying, its edges slightly crisped, giving each bite a smoky, spicy edge. On the flip side, the chicken feta combo brought a softer contrast-Creamy and slightly tangy from the cheese, with the rocket adding a fresh bitterness that balanced everything out. The crust was thin, wood-fired, and just chewy enough to make each mouthful linger. There’s something unforgettable about biting into that pizza while the rain hummed steadily on the rooftop and fog curled around the pine trees outside. At Dochi, it wasn’t just about the food, though the pizza alone would have totally been worth the visit. It was the atmosphere, the weather, the moment — everything folding together into a quiet, delicious memory. If you ever find yourself in Kasauli on a rainy day, this is the place to sit still and savor it. Happy eating.

Absolutely loved our experience at Dochi Pizza in Kasauli! The wood-fired pizzas were spot on — thin, crispy base with just the right amount of cheese and toppings. The ambience is peaceful and blends beautifully with the surrounding nature — you really feel tucked away from the usual tourist chaos. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and everything from service to food quality was top-notch. If you're in or around Kasauli, don’t miss this gem. Worth every bite!

To reach there is a big challenge and you need a off roaders 😀. But you will be rewarded with the great food. Best authentic Neapolitan pizzas, Good salads and coffee. I will definitely go there again and again.

Absolutely incredible! The flavors were spot on, and the dough in particular was just outstanding—perfect texture and taste. I loved the way Doci Pizza blends pahadi essence with modern fusion, making every bite feel unique yet comforting. The service was quick, and the staff were genuinely polite and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Prices were also quite reasonable, which is impressive considering how expensive things usually get in the mountains. Honestly, the only “downside” of serving food this good is that there’s always a line of cars outside—clearly everyone wants a taste! If you’re in the area, this place is a must-visit. 🍕✨

Loved the mushroom pizza! Even the hot chocolate! Must try when you visit Kasauli! Best part they offer half n half so you can try 2 pizzas at once! Absolutely delicious! 🤤

For me, who is obsessed with the technique and time behind the art of making neapolitan pizzas, Dochi takes the top position. Have been going to the OG place in dochi village since it opened and never ever we came disappointed. The consistency with their product is machine like. Our go to pizza is a 50-50 with classic margarita and pepperoni with truffle oil and their calzones with hot honey. Barista scene is also good there. Unpopular opinion: Dochi is better than Da Susy. (Dont come at me) ;)

Dharampur Haveli is a popular restaurant located in Solan, Himachal Pradesh. It offers a variety of cuisines including Chinese, fast food, Indian, and Italian. The haveli has received positive reviews for its diverse menu and pleasant ambiance. Visitors can enjoy delicious meals while experiencing the cultural charm of the region. With its convenient location and favorable feedback from guests, Dharampur Haveli is a must-visit dining destination for those exploring the area.
Haveli Dharampur is a great place to stop on the Shimla highway! The food is delicious, especially the dal makhni and paneer dishes. The restaurant is clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated with a traditional touch. Staff are polite and service is quick even when it’s busy. A perfect spot for families and travellers — highly recommended!

Visited Dharampur Haveli for lunch and had a great experience. The food was fresh, tasty, and beautifully presented. Hygiene standards were well maintained, and the place felt clean and welcoming. The staff was courteous and helpful, which made the lunch even more enjoyable. The only minor issue was a slight delay in service, probably due to the lunchtime rush – but overall, totally worth it. Will surely come back again!

Disappointing experience at Haveli! I needed to use the washroom, but when I asked, the staff told me I couldn't use theirs. Not sure what the policy is, but it seems unfriendly. Maybe consider revising your policy to accommodate customers' basic needs? Until then, might not be the best spot for a relaxing meal."

Over hyped and no concern for customer. It is fine if you are with a group. For a solo they don’t care. No thali or small portion option for a single person. You have to take huge portions and then waste. Manager is rude.

Recently tried this place while my trip to kasauli..it is located right on the shimla highway, so it is easy to locate..initially when we entered the restaurant it was all empty, there were no guests except us.so i was skeptical about the food they will serve, whether it would be fresh or not..to be on a safer side we decided to go with veg and ordered chilli gobhi and dal makhni along with some breads.when the food came to our surprise it was fresh and delicious.Special shout out to dal makhni which was served in a special pot which had a candle under it which was keeping it hot.. food and service was 10 on 10..highly recommended

Kasauli Brewery and Distillery, also known as Solan brewery, is one of the oldest breweries in India. I stayed there yesterday! We were two couples and we rented the lily cottage. It was the best stay of my life till date in terms of location of the property, scenic view and greenery of the property. Charges were nominal, i booked on the spot and not via any online portal. Food was okay, it takes time, but i think its fine. Toilet, room etc everything was fine and cleaned like it should be! Thank you, Amandeep and Randeep, for making our stay so memorable. We especially appreciate how thoughtfully you kept West End room for us. The uninterrupted view of the pine trees made it feel as if we were staying in a forest! Also, the open area in front of the room became an excellent playground for Munnu, our pet, who thoroughly enjoyed exploring the place. Thank you, Johnny and Ganesh, for your hospitality and superb service! Just a couple of suggestions, airing out the rooms before new guests arrive would make the room smell fresher and a couple of higher tables in the room might make dining in more comfortable. That apart, thanks once again for a lovely stay! Also, it was an absolute pleasure to meet Amandeep and Randeepji, it's so rare for hosts to check up on guests, much much appreciated! The view from the club is absolutely mesmerizing, offering panoramic views of the surrounding valleys and forests. The crisp hill air, the rustling of leaves, and the picturesque scenery create a peaceful environment that encourages relaxation. Kasauli Club is perfect for those looking to enjoy nature walks, unwind in a tranquil setting, or simply sit back and take in the stunning views from the verandah. Accommodation at Kasauli Club is comfortable and cozy. The rooms are well-appointed with essential amenities, offering a homely atmosphere. While the rooms may not be as luxurious as those found in modern hotels, they retain a rustic charm that complements the surroundings. Some rooms provide spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and valleys, adding to the overall experience. The furnishings are simple yet elegant, with large windows that let in plenty of natural light. The club also offers a variety of recreational activities for guests to enjoy. There is a well-stocked library for book lovers, and the club has a spacious lounge area for socializing or simply relaxing with a drink. Outdoor activities such as nature walks, treks, and birdwatching are popular here due to the club’s proximity to the forested hills. The club also features a bar and a restaurant, where guests can enjoy a selection of local and international cuisine. The food is simple but well-prepared, and the cozy ambiance of the dining area makes for a relaxed dining experience. One of the highlights of Kasauli Club is the sense of community it fosters. The club has a loyal membership, and many guests return year after year, creating a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The staff is polite, attentive, and always ready to cater to guests’ needs, contributing to the overall positive experience. However, Kasauli Club may not be the best choice for those seeking high-end luxury or contemporary amenities. Its old-world charm and rustic setting may not appeal to everyone, particularly those used to more modern, upscale hotels. Additionally, as it is a members-only club, access might be limited for non-members, though guests can often be invited by existing members. In conclusion, Kasauli Club is a perfect destination for those looking to experience the charm of colonial-era hill stations, surrounded by nature and tranquility. Its blend of history, simplicity, and scenic beauty makes it an ideal retreat for those who wish to relax, enjoy outdoor activities, or immerse themselves in the natural surroundings. Whether you’re a nature enthusiast, history buff, or someone looking for a peaceful getaway, Kasauli Club offers a unique and memorable experience.

A very British style club with great continental food variety. You have to be a member here to visit and avail the facilities. The road uphill is pretty narrow and steep and there’s traffic congestion at many places. But spending time at the club is totally worth the drive

During our visit to Kasauli we were fortunate to dine at the Kasauli Club, an old Club established in 1880 in the scenic hills of the historical town of Himachal Pradesh. Primarily for the members and maintained largely by the local cantonment, they provide rooms for stay at varying costs for members and others. Their Dining Hall serves delicious and varying authentic meals at nominal cost. Their continental meals are awesome. They have a decent bar where a visitor can enjoy a pleasant evening. The view from the Club Lawn of the hills and sunset is breathtaking. The building is of old vintage and a pleasure to walk around to admire the historical artefacts. The staff are very courteous, knowledgeable and helpful. The Club Manager Mr. Pinku went out of the way to personally drop us at our Stay at the Garden House. Would love to visit again.

1. Highly highly recommended. Excellent place and excellent service. 2. Be sure to carry one set of compliant clothes to use the bar in the evening. 3. Recommended without reservation. Almost perfect. 4. If you're going to stay here, I recommend the Snow View rooms.

Nestled in the heart of Kasauli's Heritage Market, Mom's Kitchen is a cozy and clean cafe known for its delicious home-cooked food. The place is popular for its hot parathas and momos, offering a taste that feels just like home. Despite being small, it's a great spot to hang out with friends. The Indo-Chinese cuisine here is particularly famous, with dishes like Paneer Steam Momos and Spring Rolls receiving high praise for their freshness and flavor.
"Mom's Kitchen" in Kasauli's Heritage Market is a hidden gem that exceeded my expectations in every way! The owner's warmth and humility are infectious, making you feel like you're dining with family. The tea is divine, and the Siddu, freshly steamed to perfection, is a must-try. The prices are reasonable, and the service is top-notch. What truly sets them apart is the personalized attention to repeat customers, making you feel like a part of their extended family. If you're looking for authentic Himachali flavors and exceptional hospitality, look no further than Mom's Kitchen. Highly recommended! *Best aspects:* - Exceptional hospitality - Delicious Siddu and tea - Reasonable prices - Personalized service for repeat customers *A must-visit for:* - Authentic Himachali cuisine - Warm and welcoming atmosphere - Freshly prepared local dishes

Tried this restaurant based on its high ratings, but honestly, it was a big letdown. When I asked for recommendations, the lady at the counter suggested the most expensive dishes—Chicken Lollipop and Butter Garlic Chicken Momos. I went with Butter Garlic momos and also tried the Kurkure Momos, but none of them tasted good. There's no flavour of garlic in butter garlic momos. Both the momos were bland and completely lacked flavor. I also ordered a hot coffee (₹100), which was equally disappointing. It didn’t even taste like proper coffee. To be honest, you’d get a better coffee by using an instant sachet with hot water. Lemon soda was also disappointing. Overall, the food was not worth the price or the hype. I wouldn’t recommend this place—it’s just not worth it. The rates are really high as per the food standards!!

Rating for Taste/Quality/Portion out 5 each Had - Siddu (2/2/5): I could experience the sand particle while chewing and filling tasted not so good. - Noodles (5/5/5): Excellent in quality as all vegitables tasted really fresh and taste was amazing. - Chicken momos (3/5/4) - Taste could have been a lot better and quantity should have been 8 instead of just 6 pieces.

Loved the Veg Butter Garlic Momos at Mom's Kitchen, Kasauli – super tasty and full of flavour. The Veg Thukpa was delicious too. Definitely worth a visit!

A very nice eatery in the Kasauli Heritage market. The owners are very humble and friendly. We tried their kurkure momos, which were very tasty, but their local dish Kurkez was a winner. It was delicious. Fresh lime soda was also very refreshing and tasty. Do try it while in Kasauli

Though we didn't order a lot, the quality of the food left such a mark on me and my friends. Their Thukpa is truly a comfort to the soul. And the owner truly seemed like the sweetest people. Awesome food spot!!!

Chandel's Zaika In Kasauli

Chandel's Zaika in Kasauli is a top eatery known for its excellence in tandoori and gravy dishes. The interior and ambience are splendid, offering a nice view of Kasauli from the rooftop and balcony. The owner is polite and professional, ensuring a clean washroom for visitors.
I had dinner at Zaika last night and it was a lovely experience. The Kadhai Chicken was mouthwatering, and the portion size was generous. But what made it extra special was the staff — polite, professional, and so welcoming. It's rare to find such great service along with top-notch food.

Spent almost 2500 for dinner and get delivered at AIR BNB, NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL. 4 out of 5 Snacks are burnt badly. I have attached picture of well done chicken , mushroom and water dipped paneer. Afgani paneer doesn’t have any sort of marination. Amritsari macchi is like we are having a bread pakore.
Gurkaran S — Google review
Tried Zaika for the first time and I was genuinely impressed. The curries were flavorful, the spices were well balanced, and the portions were generous. It’s the kind of place you’ll keep craving again and again.

Worst place to order takeout Ordered 3 items Peri peri French fries Tandoori chicken Chicken seekh kebab Peri peri fries weren’t peri peri not even salted forget peri peri masala pic attached Tandoori chicken was tasteless and a boiled one with no masala only outer coating and that too burnt wherein had been very specific to not burn it Chicken seekh kebab again a burnt one with no taste no masala not even lemon squeezed and burnt taste was so bad and it smelled really bad Won’t recommend it for anyone who wants a takeout and am sure mostly it runs on takeout I am not sure what they deliver for dine in but overall a really bad experience Edited the review because of reply I got from the OWNER; I must appreciate the audacity of owner instead of accepting his mistake which I clearly pointed out with pictures. He says he doesn’t care about an unsatisfied customer or negative reviews. Which shows he is least bothered about what his customers say and to top it he is least bothered about the quality of food he delivers. Kudos to this person who runs this joint this place is NOT at all RECOMMENDED. And if at all God Forbid anyone is to visit this place for a take out, PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU CHECK THE QUALITY AND TASTE OF FOOD BEFORE LEAVING THE RESTAURANT ELSE 1. YOU WILL HAVE A BAD FOOD WHICH AM SURE HE DOES ALL THE TIME BASED THE GENUINE COMMENTS FROM USERS 2. THIS MAN WILL NOT ACCEPT HIS MISTAKE BUT WILL BLAME YOU FOR VISITING HIS JOINT Now I can relate with others who have flagged this restaurant.

Zaika serves some of the most delicious food I’ve had in a while. The Kadhai chicken was delicious and rich, and the naan was perfectly soft and crisp at the same time. Every bite was satisfying and full of authentic flavor.

Excellent food. Probably the only decently priced yummy food in Kasauli. Butter Chickenwas good Chicken Curry was amazing Lacha parantha were soft, even when repeated. Noodles, dal makhni and Shahi Paneer were amazing too. If they had some seating with a view. This could have been the best place as it is already on a turn. And seating with view is possible.
