The weather was not the most ideal when I went there but the mist dissipate to form the sea of clouds that everyone went there for. So if you have time, do wait in the cafe. You might end up liking the experience. The different spots are several minute walks away from each other with the rope bed, wedge deck and swing being uphill. Also the staff stationed at the ropebed can help you take group photos. Definitely worth the extra effort to come here.

As Cloud Nine there are more and more facilities, but this one is my favourite because of the view. The others have long queues. Here it's a one-way street and even if there are a lot of people it flows properly. You can see the sea of clouds flowing like a river in the valley below.

One of the most beautiful mountain side views I've ever seen in my life. Also leads to a number of different ski/snowboarding slopes. Cafe and lounge centre is also located here. In the spring time, you are able to access the top of the mountain to see the other side of tomamu mountain. A must see location if you're staying at the hoshino resort or just simply passing through Tomamu. Also, there are resturants and lovely little cafe/ski rental shop at the bottom of the mountain at the chair lift resort centre.

Since we couldn't get a chance to try it in Sapporo due to the always long queue, we decided to have it here. We visited during an odd hour (around 4pm) and there were quite a few empty tables, which made for a peaceful and enjoyable dining experience. Highly recommend for anyone looking to try Hokkaido style soup curry.
