Villa Comunale di Sorrento is a charming park that resembles a town square and is a popular attraction due to its exotic plantings, seasonal flowers, and large shady trees. The park offers panoramic views of the Bay of Naples, with tourists flocking to capture the endless coastal scenery. Visitors can enjoy sights such as Marina San Francesco, Marina Piccola, Marina Grande, and Mount Vesuvius from the park's railings.
Amazing view of the sea and beaches! We really loved it. You can take a beautiful photo and then walk down to the sea and the beaches. On the way down, you get to enjoy the views of the charming houses in the hills and all the stunning scenery around you. I’ve also added a photo of the sunbed and umbrella prices — not cheap, but pretty much the same as everywhere along the Sorrento coast.

Villa Comunale in Sorrento is a truly fantastic spot that offers some of the best views in the city. It's a great place to just relax and unwind, especially in the evening. We spent some time there watching the sunset, and it was a genuinely calm and soothing experience. The panoramic views of the entire Sorrento coast from the park are simply breathtaking. The way the light hits the water and the cliffs is beautiful, and it makes for a perfect place to just sit on a bench and take it all in. It's a simple pleasure, but a great way to end a day of sightseeing and escape the crowds for a bit.
Pavan N — Google review
A beautiful park with breathtaking views over the Bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius. Peaceful and relaxing, with lovely gardens and benches to sit and enjoy the scenery. A perfect spot for a quiet break in Sorrento.
Shema B — Google review
Beautiful spot with amazing views over the sea and Marina Piccola. well-kept area, perfect to take photos. You can also take the lift down to the beach. Definitely worth a visit while in Sorrento!
F B — Google review
A fantastic public park offering commanding, panoramic views of the Bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius. It's a peaceful spot for a relaxing break. Crucially, the park features a dedicated elevator down to Marina Piccola (the port) and the beachfront, making cliff access quick and easy
Nika K — Google review
Visited the beach below the Villa Comunale the other day and it was wonderful! I paid 15 euros for a chair and changing room, which allowed me to sunbathe and swim in the protected area. I enjoyed food and beverage service and it made for a fantastic afternoon. I even had a visit from a sweet black kitty! I highly recommend it!
Marti M — Google review
We stayed out of the city, in the hills, which was a €50 taxi ride one way, but our views were spectacular. End of October it wasn't busy and the weather was perfect.

Embark on the Amalfi Coast Dream boat tour to explore the stunning Sorrentina Peninsula and Amalfi Coast. This 8-hour bus tour from Sorrento takes you through picturesque villages like Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello, offering breathtaking landscapes along one of the most scenic drives. Customers have praised the excellent customer service of Amalfi Coast Dream for their seamless booking process, timely communication via WhatsApp, and easy cancellation policy.
My husband and I had the most magical day on the Amalfi Coast thanks to the incredible boat tour we took from Sorrento! From the moment we set sail, we knew it was going to be a special experience. Our captain and our first mate, Giuseppe, were not only knowledgeable and professional but also incredibly warm and welcoming, making the entire day feel effortless and enjoyable. The views were absolutely breathtaking – crystal-clear waters, stunning cliffs, and charming coastal villages. Giuseppe took us to the best swimming spots, where we got to dive into the clearest water we've ever seen. The staff was incredibly attentive, always ensuring we had everything we needed, and helped us find a fantastic lunch spot with views that made it even more memorable. This boat day was truly the highlight of our honeymoon. We couldn’t have asked for a better way to experience the Amalfi Coast. If you're thinking about booking a boat tour, don’t hesitate! 10/10, we’d recommend it to anyone looking to make unforgettable memories.

We had the greatest day with our skipper Raffaele. We did the full day private boat rental. We started in Sorrento and then went to Amalfi, Positano, and ended with the best hidden gem lunch in Nerano. By far the best way to see these places is by boat. Raffaele was so knowledgeable in explaining all the sights. Jumping into the Tyrennhian sea and swimming with fish was one of the most memorable parts of our whole trip. We highly recommend!

Incredible is the biggest understatement. We had the best day with Jett today, from the moment we got on the boat until we got off, every part was memorable. He was so kind and knowledgable, he truly gave us the highlight of our trip. Took us to the most beautiful locations, booked a lunch for us, took us to the green grotto and of course, Capri and Positano. I had initially booked with another company and switched to Amalfi coast dream and I am SO happy I did. Top 5 most memorable days we have had! Thank you Jett, we will never forget this day!
Florence Z — Google review
Our captain Jett was amazing!! Such great vibes and let us have free reign with our private experience with Amalfi Dreams. He knew all the spots and made sure we saw everything the coast had to offer and was also super helpful! If you are hesitant about booking an excursion abroad, book with Amalfi Dreams. They talked to me on the phone before I booked and made me feel comfortable that I was getting everything I wanted and the process was seamless! I will definitely book again! Thank you!!
Endya G — Google review
Jett was absolutely fabulous!!! I’ve been in Europe for 2 months and this was MY FAVORITE DAY of the trip!! Please book with them and specifically ask for Jett. He was absolutely incredible!!! He was so thoughtful, thorough, genuine, and kind. Best experience of any tours or experiences we’ve had. He went above and beyond! Cant recommend this company enough and Jett enough!!!

Perfect experience on private boat tour on Amalfi Coast. Whole process went very smoothly and our captain Juani was driving extremely careful, even in bit wavy cobditions, making our day on the water joyful and and relaxing. Juani is also very open to share about the Best places to visit and knows a lot of local insights. Strongly recommend for Amalfi Coast boat rental/tour !

Jett was an amazing captain. He ensured we got the most of our day and curated to exactly what we wanted. He was very knowledgeable of the area and easy going. I would highly recommend getting a tour with him! Plus who doesn’t want a tour guide with a nice Australian accent!

This is a fantastic company. We had the pleasure of Alberto. Such a lovely man. He could not have crammed anymore into our day. We saw Positano & grotta dello smeraldo, which is less busy than blue grotto and just as good. We stopped to do some snorkelling and visited capri. Took a taxi to the chair lift and went up the lift (worth every second) the view was amazing. Kids even loved the super fast crossing from Capri back to Sorrento. He made us feel very welcome. What an amazing guy and a great company.

Basilica Sant'Antonino is a centuries-old church located in Sorrento, Italy. Its Romanesque facade and grand nave with marble pillars and frescoes make it a sight to behold. The basilica's origins date back to the 11th century when it was built on the remains of a 9th-century oratory dedicated to Saint Antonino, the city's patron saint.
Stayed at an Airbnb right in the Square... excellent location to see it all within walking distance to restaurants, beach and ferry..

Quiet church with old paintings. St Antonio is a patron of sailors, fishermen and travelers. There are nice sea and sailoring themes inside. Don't forget to go downstairs near altar to pay visit to st Antonio himself. Must see if you consider traveller yourself. Free entry.
Boa J — Google review
A beautiful church located quite in the city center of Sorrento. If you're visiting Sorrento during the summertime, there are A LOT of weddings that are held in this gorgeous basilica, so that's also a nice addition if you get a chance to take part in one.

You can easyly find it, even though it is not looking like a church at all. This is a hundreds of years old church with a Romanesque facade and a large nave, marble columns and frescoes. I recommend to visit it.

Nestled at the edge of Sorrento, Bagni Regina Giovanna is a captivating destination that combines history with natural beauty. A leisurely 35-40 minute walk leads you to the remnants of an ancient Roman villa, where you'll discover a stunning hidden cove. This secluded spot features a natural archway through which crystal-clear waters flow into a tranquil pool, making it an ideal retreat for those seeking solace away from crowded beaches.
A local who lives in the U.S. now recommend this spot to us. It took a bus and a 15 minute walk, but it was our second best day in Sorrento. It was busy, but not packed. A few tourists but a lot of locals. We felt like locals. We bought sandwiches in town, wine, and made a day of it. Highly recommend! Be respectful and take your trash out.
Zach — Google review
Beautiful spot. About a 15-minute walk from the bus stop. The path is manageable, but the final steps down to the water can be a bit tricky—especially if you're wearing flip-flops. Overall, definitely worth a visit for a refreshing swim in a unique setting.
Giorgos A — Google review
Bagni della Regina Giovanna is an interesting spot with beautiful views and a natural swimming pool carved into the rock. The place itself is picturesque and unique. The best way is to take a bus from Sorrento and then walk about 15 minutes to reach the beach. In the high season, it gets very crowded, which makes it hard to fully enjoy. Worth visiting once for the views and history, but not a place I would rush back to.
Kamil O — Google review
Beautiful swimming spot easily accessible by a the 008 bus (€2 per person) from Sorrento center and then a short 10-15 minute walk down from the bus stop. The walk isn’t strenuous or too inclined, and is manageable in flip flops. Be aware that there isn’t much of a beach but you can find a couple flat rocks to relax on. We found it super crowded with people coming down the stairs but not having anywhere to sit at the bottom, creating a lot of congestion. Maybe it’s better to go earlier in the morning when the masses haven’t arrived. Once you’re in, you can swim through the ancient archway through to the ocean side of the swimming hole. You can do some cliff jumping here; it’s probably about 10 meters high. The day we went there was a lot of surge so some trash was washing through into the ‘beach’ side so we preferred drifting on the ocean side a lot more. Near the cliff jumping spot are a couple leveled places to lie down and sun tan or picnic with a great view of the cliffs of Sorrento! Enjoy and remember to buy some water at the shop at the beginning of the path down to the beach, there aren’t any shops, toilets or facilities down there.
Sam B — Google review
The most gorgeous place I have ever been to, we walked an hour to get there quite a rocky walk but every second was worth it. Strongly recommend, can see fish under the water, very salty water, able to swim under the cove. Beautiful.
Nicola P — Google review
A kind of natural swimming pool with a passage connected to the sea. There are not much space can be used as beach/shore. The rocks can be used for your towels or bags. Kayaking and scuba diving daily tours also visit here, so it is not a hidden gam but worth to go and swim. Thera are walking paths to other rocky beaches around the area. An interesting place to visit and swim. There is bus from Sorrento center. If you go by your own car, there is car park at the beginning of the path to the seaside. Car park can be full if you are late.
Sezin H — Google review
You can take a swim or just hike around. I preferred the sunset. Getting there was easy. If you prefer swimming, make sure you bring all of towels, food, and drinks with you. It was crowded, but a great experience. Heading back to Sorrento was annoying as no taxi was available. Either call a taxi or ride the crowded bus.
Mohammad N — Google review
Really cool spot, calm waters inside the cove then great views outside. Wasn't too busy when we went either. Can imagine I gets busy in summer so choose a quiet time to go

Breathtakingly beautiful. You really need to do the drive. Wait, if you're scared of heights maybe let someone else drive you but still get in the car, bus or whatever and go! It's totally worth it and you'll be happier for doing it. Honestly the pictures I'm posting don't do justice

A lovely marina for boats to Capri and Amalfi. Nice restaurants (recommend Angelo's) and two seperate beach areas down to the right.

We had an absolutely breathtaking day on the water with our captain Carmine! We enjoyed swimming in caves and the open water, a delicious lobster lunch and soaking up the sun with a glass if wine.
Kellie B — Google review
After a stunning day-trip up the Amafi coast this was a view of the sunset over Capri on the way back to Sorrento. A long day but absolutely worth it. On this trip we really only had time to get a flavour of the places visited, my unquestionable favourite being Positano. A day out you'll never forget.

If you hire your own boat and skipper with some friends and family, exploring the Amalfi Coast with your own unique itinerary isn't terribly expensive. Spend a 90-minute stop in Capri, then explore the different colored grottos, swim in the Med and stop for lunch at a small village beachside restaurant

Ristorante Museo Caruso is a sophisticated dining destination located in the heart of Sorrento, Italy. Housed in a 19th-century villa that was once the home of the legendary tenor Enrico Caruso, this restaurant pays homage to his legacy. The elegant dining room adorned with art and vintage photos sets the stage for an exceptional culinary experience.
My husband and I loved this restaurant. The service was exceptional. You are welcomed with a complimentary sparkling wine while you settled in and enjoy the menu. No dirty dish remained on our table and the staff was always keenly watchful and noticed anytime we needed anything. This food was among the best we had in Sorrento. Their unique Caprese salad and the zucchini pasta were amazing and I highly recommend.

Incredible tasting menu paired with nice wine, complimentary glass of Prosecco and limoncello. Amazing service. Worth the price!

We stumbled upon this place one night during our honeymoon in Sorrento and it was the best choice we made. We did the tasting menu and every single thing we were served was incredible. It is such a unique restaurant and there is so much to look at inside, making for great table talk. The service was amazing and we have already recommended this place to others who are travelling to Sorrento. 10/10!
Rachel R — Google review
A "museum" restaurant dedicated to Enrico Caruso. The walls are filled to the brim with memorabilia of the great tenor. Their food selections was great and tasty, if you've overate from trying everything during the day they also apparently have a great selection of tasting menus. I call it more a restaurant with a museum gimmick than a museum with a restaurant, it's not a bad thing however. My family visit was a bit more focused on the food so all I could learn about Enrico Caruso were some small tidbits and quotes written in the menu. Beaides they are playing old recordings of the gret tenor and my god all of them are enjoyable to accompany you during a good meal 10va/10 would recommend.

What a treat! From the moment we walked in the door the service was impecable. Our waiter was so friendly and welcoming and explained the menu so well. The food was so delicious and the wine selection was great! Each course was prepared perfectly. The atmosphere was so relaxed and in addition to making our party feel so welcomed, seeing the restaurant team celebrate the Nona’s birthday next to us and making her feel so special, added to the fun the entire dining room was having. They are the definition of true hospitality. Thank you for such a great evening!

This was by far the best meal we had in Sorrento. Nestled just steps from Tasso Square, Caruso Museo is a true hidden gem- it’s tucked away from the tourist bustle yet right in the heart of town. From start to finish, the experience was flawless. The service was impeccable, attentive without ever being intrusive, and every detail was carefully thought through. Each dish was a work of art, beautifully presented and even more delicious than we could have imagined. The flavors were refined, perfectly balanced, and worthy of its Michelin recognition. The ambiance added to the charm, elegant, intimate, and full of character. If you are looking for an unforgettable dining experience in Sorrento, skip the tourist traps and treat yourself to Caruso Museo. It’s an absolute must-visit and a meal we’ll be talking about for years to come.
Olivia N — Google review
Wonderful! We've been coming to Sorrento for years and have never dined here - the restaurant's name somehow gave us the impression of a touristic place. We couldn't have been more wrong! The ambiance is elegant, the service impeccable, the food amazing and the wine list impressive. We'll definitely be back!
Hannele P — Google review
A wonderful place for a long lingering dinner! I chose this place based upon other reviews here and I was not disappointed one iota! It’s centrally located and actually rather large inside, yet divided into a few intimate dining areas. We shared ours with a few solo diners, but rest assured we outlasted them! We chose the meat tasting menu and it was delicious from start to finish! The photos tell a much better story that I can type… The wine was also excellent. We chose the first bottle based upon the host’s recommendation and we chose a known entity for the second - both were excellent! But they were just two of many hundreds of bottles on their extensive list.

This restaurant, located in Sorrento, specializes in antipasti, pasta and Italian main courses. The food is beautifully prepared and the wine list is extensive. It would make an ideal place to enjoy a relaxed evening out with friends.
Thankful to our Airbnb host (Carmine) for having made a reservation for us here - what a treat! Authentic Sorrento / Amalfi coast cuisine. Surprisingly pizza wasn’t something we ordered- the rest of the menu was more attractive. Beautiful decor, attentive and professional staff, ample seating. We went light with the order this evening - a spaghetti cacio e pepe, a ravioli neri (ravioli made with squid ink, stuffed with seafood and cheese), and a fried cod croquette. Amazing restaurant, mouth watering flavors. Would love to return.

We recently dined here while on an excursion from the cruise port. We only had a limited time while in Sorrento. We sat down without a wait and they served us promptly. I highly recommend getting pizza since this is home of the pizza. You will not be disappointed. Also, limoncello with complementary after your meal. Make sure to eat fast so you have time to do some shopping. Next time we are in Sorrento, we are coming back.
Brianna G — Google review
This is a nice place to eat. The food was tasty but over priced. The hostess was very pleasant but the main manager was not very friendly and a bit grumpy. The rest of the servers were great. The restaurant was beautiful inside and very clean. If you don't mind paying for high prices it's worth visiting.
Jim R — Google review
As they say—always ask the locals where to eat! We would’ve never discovered this amazing spot just by walking around, but thankfully, our hotel staff recommended it and made a reservation for us. To our surprise, the food was absolutely next level—every dish was packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. When we mentioned we’d like to share our dishes, the staff thoughtfully split everything into two portions without us even asking again. It’s those little touches that make a big difference. The seafood platter was a standout—rich in flavor, incredibly fresh, and beautifully presented. Honestly, there wasn’t a single dish we could fault. A special thank you to Francesco, who truly elevated our dining experience with his warmth and attentiveness. This restaurant is a must-visit if you’re looking for incredible food and genuine hospitality.

Excellent meal, pasta dishes perfectly cooked and tasty. Service was very good, prices are little high but well worth it for the quality.

One of the best restaurants we tried during our recent visit to Sorrento. We ordered a pizza & calzone and both were wonderful and plentiful enough to share. Be aware that this is a white tablecloth restaurant though so plan on being a bit dressed up. As an added bonus, the restaurant treats each guest to a shot of limoncello at the end of the meal.
Zack F — Google review
I had the stuffed pizza and caramel chocolate cake. The pizza wasn't really cooked all the way but I was so hungry that I kept quiet. I've learned that if you tell an Italian restaurant that their food wasn't prepared properly that they take great offense to it. I've been in the food industry and I've worked in places that do things to food on the return back to the customer so thats always been a paranoia of mine that someone will do something to my food if I send it back. We had a change of waiters mid meals not by choice but we were okay with it since our original waiter wasn't in a good mood and rushed us through our ordering. Prior to coming here we saw a few pictures on the border of pg rating so I wasn't surprised to see the picture on my place once my pizza was finished. I think if you don't speak their language it makes your experience slightly worse and seems like they didn't care for you the same way.

Ordered gluten free pizza and it was great. Really enjoyed it. My partner order calzone and found that the ingredients were not well spread out inside and it was low on tomato sauce

Without a doubt the most incredible sandwich I have ever eaten in my entire life! 🤩 I ordered through the app and would highly recommend doing this if you're eager to get a sandwich at lunchtime and skip the queues.😌 otherwise the line will take between 30-60 mins.. although it's most definitely worth the wait! The owners are the most fabulous ladies 😍 they burst into song when I went in to collect my sandwich! A lovely surprise on my birthday 🙈😄 This is one place that you cannot miss if visiting Sorrento! I'll dream about this sandwich for a long time to come ❤️

Brest sandwich ever, super fresh and really good ingredients. The owners are very welcoming and you can tell that they love what they do. Also the atmosphere is really cool, you can eat there or take away. Definitely a must visit if you are staying in Sorrento or near.

A small but lovely place! The paninis are absolutely amazing — with different types of bread, options for every taste (including vegan ones), and great ingredients. We’ve eaten here during our trip around Naples, and these were the best sandwiches of the whole trip. You can eat at the counter or on the small tables outside, and they don’t charge the cover fee, which is rare in Italy. The service is fast, the staff is super friendly and always smiling, and the nice music makes the atmosphere perfect. 100% recommended for a quick and delicious meal while visiting Sorrento.

Plain and simple best sandwich ive had in a long time. My wife and i split the Antonio it was excellent. I have two minor complaints 1) sandwich took forever but thats because how busy it is and def worth wait 2) the shop is small To cancel these small complaints Drinks are $5 euro and $6 euro for aperol spritz and limoncello spritz so you can have a nice cheap drink while waiting also the two woman making the sandwiches were so nice and made it fun as they dance and sing along while we Wait it was fun and cute atmosphere

beautiful little sandwich shop, with lots of options.... The girls working are very helpful, cheerful and give the place a special charm. the prices for this kind of product are decent, and definitely great value for money... And a special experience is when the music starts.... we will definitely come back here...

I was only in Sorrento for 3 days and came here 2x - it’s that good. Best sandwich I’ve ever had and I went to all the popular spots in Rome and Florence. #5 was my favorite but you can’t go wrong with any of them. Every single person there walked out saying “that was the best sandwich of my life” - I’m not exaggerating. I’m traveling solo and the ladies made me feel like family. Remembered me and my order when I went back the vibe there is just so positive and upbeat. You cannot miss this place when in Sorrento and you have to go more than once.

Outstanding little restaurant serving the most amazing toasted sandwiches and filled ciabattas. Two lovely ladies own and run this wonderful cafe and one broke into song while making the sandwiches. Such a delightful happy place to have a delicious lunch. The limoncello spritz is to die for 😆

Restaurant
Il Cantuccio is a family-run restaurant in Massa Lubrense, where the F.lli Fontana work passionately to offer a perfect blend of gastronomic quality and traditional flavors. The restaurant boasts an exceptional panoramic view, making it popular among American tourists. Despite a malfunctioning pizza oven on one occasion, the staff's outstanding service and excellent wine recommendations left guests impressed. The terrace offers amazing views while the inside is described as large, historic, and cozy.
DELICIOUS & PERFECT for Sunsets. They are listed as Open 24hrs, but that’s more of a guideline. If there are customers are there, they will stay open. The inside looks like a BEAUTIFUL CAVE/CELLAR and the Service was EXCELLENT. We came for Breakfast once and then for a Sunset Dinner a few days later. Service was just as good. The wine selection and food was very good. They all speak English well and it’s priced reasonably for the quality and service. If we did t explore any other restaurants, we’d be here at least 3-4 times per week. Highly recommend.

We arrived after a nearby farm to table experience and only ordered dessert and coffee. The restaurant was not busy. After 40 minutes they had only served us water, yet the other tables had all received meals. The view was nice, the service was not; the manager offered no explanation or apology- we paid for water and left. This was our only negative dining experience in Italy.

The service and food here was amazing! They have a shuttle that can pick you up and drop off at home. We tried the appetizer sample platter and had one of their fish specials, wow!! Every bite had so much flavor. I highly recommend this spot.

Il Cantuccio is a great place to dine! The food was decent, I’d give it a 4/5 for vegetarian . Seafood lovers will be pleased—there are plenty of options, and the food is apparently top-notch. We went for dinner, but the daytime view would be amazing, so I’d recommend going for lunch. It was my husband’s birthday, and I asked for a small cake with candles. They went above and beyond, surprising us by turning off the lights, playing loud birthday music, and bringing a cake with a sparkling candle! It was such a sweet gesture.

From the food to the service, the experience was amazing. I couldn't recommend enough. We didn't have a single plate we didn't love. I highly recommend. Plus they were very sweet and accommodating to our 1 and 2 year old.

We had booked well in advance because we knew we would be arriving late. The courtesy taxi picked us up promptly and the staff were waiting for us on arrival. The waiter suggested an assortment of food for sharing as it was late and we were all hungry after a long flight. The food was excellent and everyone raved about the meal, including our vegetarian daughter. The service was very quick and staff were friendly. For the standard of the food, the price was very reasonable. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Day 2

Off the beaten path
For day 2, if you don’t mind the extra trek, today covers more off the beaten path places like Azienda Agrituristica "La Masseria". Not quite as popular as Marina Lobra, but still highly rated among many travelers. Accounting for getting around and average time spent, today’s activities could take about 8 hours.

Marina Lobra is a charming village located near the rugged Amalfi Coast, offering daily boat trips to Capri and cliffside towns. The area consists of several hamlets connected by narrow roads winding between ancient farms, olive and lemon groves. Visitors can explore the stradine or sentieri that criss-cross the area, leading to picturesque spots like the monastery of San Francesco and Marina del Cantone.
We had the most incredible day touring Capri, and it was all thanks to our amazing captain, Frank! From the moment we stepped on board, he made us feel welcome, relaxed, and excited for the adventure ahead. Frank was not only professional and knowledgeable but also incredibly fun and personable. He shared great stories about the island, took us to breathtaking spots around Capri (including some hidden gems!), and made sure we had plenty of time to swim, relax, and take in the beauty of the coastline. The boat was comfortable and well-kept, and the whole experience felt personalized and smooth from start to finish. If you're planning a trip to Capri, I can't recommend this tour—and Captain Frank—enough. It was truly the highlight of our trip!

Would have loved to give this place a 5 but it just seems a little unorganized when people get on and off the boat. There needs to be an easier process to get people off and on. People were rushing and shoving each other to get off the boat. The men on the boat were extremely helpful and nice. Just think it be a better experience if it was organized better.
Kimberly G — Google review
Our boat made a brief, five-minute stop at Marina Lobra, and it was a genuinely great experience. The marina is a beautiful, peaceful place. Even in that short time, the charm of the little fishing village was obvious. It felt like a hidden gem, a perfect little slice of coastal life away from the crowds. It's a shame we couldn't stay longer, but the brief glimpse was a memorable highlight.

The team were friendly and really well organised! And was far cheaper booking direct than via our holiday operator. They had a coordinator rushing ahead of the coach, to each hotel, to make sure all passengers were ready, for a seamless pickup Boat was clean and crew helpful and friendly. I was particularly impressed that, in a choppier/rougher area conditions, the captain had opted to leave the forward half of the top deck (around 40 seats incomer lost) free of passengers, to ensure a smoother and safer ride for everyone else. Tour of Capri was informative, and the return journey was at sunset, so offered spectacular photo opportunities. Great job, highly recommend!

Beautiful, peaceful, where the locals go. There are some great sunbathing spots, and some great cafes, bars and restaurants
Stuart A — Google review
Its a tour company specialising in boat tours. They picked us up from the hotel as arranged and took us to the harbour. Its a little outside sorrento and not the most attractive, better from the sea, and it's a working harbour. Tour went really well, Amalfi and Positano, and we were delivered back to out hotel in comfort. So Quite a long day, 11 hours in total but well worth it. One slight warning, the path from the tour company checkpoint to the boat could cause people with walking difficulties a problem. There were a couple on our tour that managed but struggled a little. Just something to be aware of.
K H — Google review
We joined a boat tour to Capri. The guides were cheerful and lively, and they gave us lots of advice on how to get around the island. One tip about this spot: you can sunbathe on the rocks, but swimming is not allowed. To be precise, we saw a few people swimming, but there were signs on the rocks saying "No Swimming." But the scenery was absolutely breathtaking anyway, and there were obviously far fewer tourists compared to the beaches in Sorrento.

We had a fantastic private boat trip to Positano and Li Galli Islands with Marina Lobra which I booked up well in advance with Ivan. The company picked us up from our villa, the boat was ready for us on arrival and we set off from Massa Lubrense to the Amalfi Coast. The scenery is absolutely beautiful. We passed by the Li Galli islands and enjoyed wonderful views of Capri and Vesuvius. Our driver was excellent in fairly windy conditions. We had a fantastic stop in Positano with time for lunch and sightseeing. We then took our time returning with a stop for swimming and lying out in the sunshine. All in all a wonderful trip!

Sights & Landmarks
Azienda Agrituristica "La Masseria" is a family-owned farm that offers an enriching experience through their olive groves and lemon orchards. The hosts are known for their charm and hospitality, providing insightful tours about sustainable farming practices passed down through four generations. Visitors can enjoy a leisurely tour with minimal walking, culminating in a visit to the cellar for wine tasting and a traditional home-cooked meal using fresh farm ingredients.
Amazing tour and food experience. The tour was educational and fun, and the food was outstanding. The farm is family run by the third and fourth generations. They were very accommodating for our party of 8, with ages ranging from 4 to 82, and they have a shuttle service from Sorento, or you can arrange your own transportation from elsewhere. They have farm grown products for sale at the end of the tour and meal, and they can even ship them home for you. You can really tell that the family pours all of their hearts and efforts into what they grow and what they feed you.

Booked the tour/tasting through Get Your Guide that included transportation from Sorrento. Farm tour was with one of the sons of the family, the father also came along with us. A really great time - learned a lot, got to feed the animals, good tasting and nice traditional meal of farm to table food at the end. The family was incredibly sweet and hospitable. Would highly recommend!

Really loved this tour. 100% recommend!!! Fantastic small family farm and business, everyone was really nice and friendly, the tour guides (Raffaelo and Eugenio) were hilarious and made the experience unforgettable. After the tour we got to try food, wine and limoncello grown and prepared on the farm - it was excellent. A great way to support a local business and have a great time as well. At the end there is the opportunity to buy farm produce which we will enjoy at home!

One of our favorite things we did while staying in Sorrento! The family was lovely, gave a wonderful tour, and answered questions. Our teenager even enjoyed the visit. We loved seeing their animals and petting them, seeing what they grow and why, learning about the history of their farm, and the lunch they prepared was delicious. We brought back olive oil and limoncello from their farm, perfect souvenirs that we will absolutely enjoy! Definitely recommend booking a tour and lunch at this farm!

Really great morning exploring the farm. Very interesting to learn about lemons, olives, wine, etc. Very informative and Raffaele was a fantastic host. Knowledgable and funny. A masters in agriculture no less! The food was lovely and my wife purchased way too much stuff after… no idea where it’s all going in the suitcases! This includes a bottle of their delicious red wine.

We spent 4 days in Rome and 3 days in Sorrento, and this trip was one of our favourite experiences. The farm is beautiful, and the family is wonderful. Raffaele, one of the fourth generation sons was welcoming and friendly, and really interesting and informative. The food and drink were delicious, and all from the farm to the table - including the limoncello which could put hairs on your chest! We would definitely recommend a visit!

Cala di Mitigliano is a serene and isolated cove that boasts a petite, pebbly beach and crystal-clear turquoise water. The scenery is awe-inspiring, with dramatic views overlooking the ocean. However, visitors may find it challenging to locate the beach as there are signs indicating an entrance fee. We recommend arriving by car since walking uphill can be arduous, especially for those wearing heels.
Great beach with a cool scenery of rocks and cliffs. Do not stop and park at the gate, keep driving down the hill. At the very bottom is where the path begins and motorcycles park. You can park you car as far up from there as needed depending on how full it is. There is no sand or flat sections of beach but there are lounge chairs so do not be deterred by this. More adventurous less slow beach spot but worth the journey. The stairs down from the parking are not that bad, avoid handrail use to avoid the ants.
Elliott K — Google review
The area Is pretty but unfortunately there's a lot of rubbish left around. The path to it from Mitigliano has been left unkept. It can be dangerous with overgrown vegetation, exposed cliffs and very few places to hold on to. Google map shows a road to it which is now closed by a gate with lock.
Stefania — Google review
Beautiful beach but very rocky. It was €5 to enter the place with a car and €2 on foot. It was a very narrow and bumpy ride down the hill for quite some time so not an easy access one would say. There’s a cave on the side of the beach so that’s a bonus in scenery. You can see capri island during the day.
Jenn L — Google review
Wild, scenic but hardly accessible beach. Not much place to lie down. Waves can be pretty big and kind of dangerous because they can smash you to the rocks when getting out of the water. So not a typical family beach, I recommend it for the adventurous travellers.
Gábor H — Google review
I am not too sure how to get down to the beach by land since the property owner shut the gate (four years ago I hear). Jumping the gate would feel like trespassing… in which case it’s now only accessible to boats.
Charles D — Google review
Amazing place! Beautiful view and great waters. It's not much of a beach, more rocks on rocks. If you have struggle walking i wouldn't come here since you need to walk on rocks. Hard to lay down. But if youre adventurous and want a peace of nature and a beautiful lagoon. Definitely recommend!
Nathalie B — Google review
We got a little confused to find the way to the beach. In my picture, you can see the price to access the beach. I highly recommend you come down with whatever vehicle you have, the walk up was very strenuous for me and my heels. The beach is rocky and narrow, hence not a lot of space for lying down without a sunbed. The local man who rent these out were very friendly and helpful. Rental per item costs 5eur (sunbed or umbrella). On the side, there is a rock where you can jump into the water and a rope nearby to climb up for another jump. Overall, it was a very nice experience: water is clear and the place is secluded so not overcrowded.

What an amazing location for a swim overlooking the Capri island. A little bit difficult to find and to reach, as the road to go down the hill is a bit rocky but it is so worth it! The Baia di Ieranto nature preserve boasts a stunning beach with crystal clear waters teeming with marine life. Visitors can purchase refreshments from vendors who arrive by boat, adding to the beach's welcoming ambiance. The path leading to the beach takes around 15 minutes to traverse, and it is recommended that visitors bring ample water for their journey as dehydration can be a concern.
An absolute gem. Stunning cove with little beach and crystal clear water. We went fairly early in the morning and it was totally empty. Nice hike to get there.

This is an experience we will not forget. From nerano beach this takes well over an hour of intense hiking, each way. We are in shape, healthy and have a 9 year old son who was able to do this. But it was intense on the knees. Once you get there, the view and the jump from the pier was so much fun. Again it’s not difficult or dangerous terrain it’s just a lot of medium difficulty and goes on and on. Not to mention then you have to go back. The cafe/Bar at the top of Nerano serves some of the best food we had including their pasta nerano. We ate breakfast and then had lunch here after our hike. Overall it’s a great adventure and incredible views.
Dennis L — Google review
Amazing path. Not so difficult but make sure to bring good shoes and sunscreen protection. Better to get to Nerano with a scooter and park it near the entrance of the path.

Yael M — Google review
Amazing somewhat secret cove, with a roughly 20 foot diving board you can swim to. Beautiful clear water. About a 50 minute hike in. Bring lots and lots of water. It’s a precipitous climb back. On a hot day the first third on the return will test your mettle. We loved the bay. Definitely a highlight of our southern Italy sojourn.
Alan M — Google review
My favorite beach on point! This is a magical beach! The hike is not long, but has a very steep and tricky section - recommend good footwear and water. The beach is only accessible through this path or by paddling around (no motor boat access). It was quite crowded when we went, but worth it for the views and beautiful water.
Dimitri A — Google review
A short but steep hike to get to the beach, and the same short steep ascent to get back to the car. It was totally worth it. The journey down provides breathtaking views of the coast and you can even see the faraglioni of Capri in the distance. At the destination, we were rewarded with clear blue waters where we could see fish swimming around. There was no space left on the natural beach so we situated ourselves on a man-made platform which worked out even better because it is absolutely clean and without the torture of the sand and pebbles of the beach. In addition, we were close to the edge of the platform where one could jump straight into the sea. Not forbiddingly high, but high enough for a good dose of adrenaline on every jump. Clean, well maintained, and in the afternoon it’s also serviced by a boat-shop where they provided coffee, ice cream, can drinks and snacks. My advise: go early, the earlier the better. Parking spots are limited, and obviously you’ll have a better chance to get a spot on the beach.
Felicia L — Google review
This beach is amazing, the water is really clear and filled with fishes, highly suggested. During the day some guys arrived with a small boat selling water and ice cream, literally like a bar. The path to reach the beach is 15 minutes long. Remember to bring water, really, we thought we had enough but we were wrong, and we discovered how hard it was the way back without water after a day under the sun.

Monastero di San Paolo offers a stunning 360-degree panorama from the top of Belvedere, providing breathtaking views of the Peninsula of Sorrento, Capri, and the Salerno area. The monastery is located about a 15-minute walk from Sant'Agata, up a steep hill. Visitors can explore the main tower for magnificent views and shop for local accessories to support the community.
Only visited for the tower with its amazing views. You need to be careful when you visit as opening times are restricted. Views on a good day are wonderful. There are a lot of steps up to the top but these are modern steps, not like going up an ancient campanile with uneven and well-worn steps. Not at all. These steps are not worn, and are well built.

Visited today (13th July 2024) and had a fab time. Opening times are 10 - 12 in the morning, and 5-7 in the afternoon. To access the viewing platform it is a proper faff, however it is possible. You need to walk right when you reach the top of the path/driveway, then left at the end of the buildings and you will see a set of double yellow doors atop some stairs ( two sets). It may be locked, however we waited around the door until eventually a nun ( who was clearly watching the cameras) to open the door. Not a word of English was spoken so may need good hand gestures, and a donation of some sort was required before she relinquished the key to the tower!
Alex C — Google review
Visited as part of a guided tour on a land train. The monastery was part of the tour, allowing you access to the surrounding gardens to view the amazing views overlooking the bay. Then, a short (70 steps) up onto the monastery roof to a viewing platform to enjoy a 360° view of the surrounding landscape.

Amazing view on the Peninsula of Sorrento, Capri and Salerno area. The sign indicating belvedere on the terrace of the monastery is very consumed so it's easy to miss it. There are only stairs to go up so it's not good for disabled and strollers.

Museo Correale di Terranova is located in the heart of Sorrento, housed within the Palazzo Correale, a historical 18th-century villa. The museum showcases an extensive collection of art and artifacts across three floors and 24 rooms, with additional exhibition space in the attic.
A serene oasis in the heart of lively Sorrento! The Museo Correale di Terranova is wonderfully quiet, with only a few visitors wandering through its elegant halls. The collection of antiques is stunning—a graceful tribute to the legacy of the Medici and Correale families. I highly recommend it for anyone seeking a peaceful escape from the bustling shops, restaurants, and traffic outside.

An excellent private collection given to the town. The archaeological rooms were closed when I visited but very much enjoyed the mainly 19th paintings of Sorrento and Naples and wished it looked more like that now rather than the present day chaos with the traffic and tourists. Some beautiful views from the villa across the Bay of Naples. You'll spend about an hour here.
Chris J — Google review
The grounds are beautiful and the archeological movie is the basement gave me some great perspective on what I was seeing around the town. If you follow the path all the way to the end you end up on a terrace of a very expensive hotel - Grand Hotel Ambasciatori Sorrento ($1,300€/night). Guess that view alone might be worth the $15€ admission each. The art and furniture displays are interesting but after everywhere we have been it's not really comparable to other options in the general area. No pictures of the art, furniture and collectibles displays as they ask that you don't take pictures.
Brian H — Google review
It's okay, it's a nice museum but hard to see the value for money here. 15 euros was quite a lot for very little. I would say that the marquetry on the furniture is amazing and it's good to see the historical furniture on show. The painting exhibition wasn't particularly well lit so we didn't feel that it was a pleasant experience overall.
Stephen K — Google review
Great place to see and learn about the origins of the city. It wont take much time to visit.
Richard R — Google review
You will need time to go through this Museum, which is a short walk from the Town centre. It has a very large collection of paintings, furniture, clocks and ceramics. Sadly there were few translations in English, except in the section on the excavations of Sorrento. However, one member of staff on watch, who spoke English, was really helpful when we came across an exquisite "multipurpose" ladies dressing table. Dore was really knowledgeable and told us so much about this interesting piece of furniture. The Correale has engaging gardens and grounds with pathways leading to a lovely cafe area overlooking the sea, though the cafe was shut when we were there.
Amy — Google review
Fascinating eclectic exhibitions of art and furniture in a fine old building that is now sadly quite neglected, as are the gardens. The entrance charge is quite high in comparison to far better museum/galleries. Nevertheless, an interesting visit providing an insight to the region's history.

Best meal in this area! Great value too! I asked for fresh fish and they brought me 3 choices on a platter to view: Branzino, sea bream and Mediterranean snapper. All looked and smelled fresh. I asked for the sea bream grilled whole, and it was perfect! Crispy skin and juicy interior. The pizza looked great as well. Beautiful setting in the small port. I will come back if I get the chance.

The charming Italian vibe made the whole experience feel authentic and relaxing. Prices were very reasonable for the location. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Sorrento, it’s a lovely spot to enjoy a memorable meal.

This was our families first visit to Massa Lubrense, our first taste of an authentic Italian restaurant experience and Funiculi Funiculi did not disappoint. We ended up eating at this restaurant every day of our stay. We ordered something different every day and the food never disappointed, but best of all was the service. Luigi treated us all like family and made the trip even more memorable. Our dinners became the highlight not just for the food, but for the atmosphere and most of all the people. Everyone was fun, friendly, attentive, and most importantly added to our amazing experience. We cannot wait to visit again.

What a beautiful meal. Fresh fish , flavours were gorgeous and the service was excellent. Price was average for the area but well worth what we paid. The view across the harbour was lovely too. Staff were friendly and welcoming.

This is our second visit to Massa Lubrense and could not wait to eat at this restaurant. Had dinner here four times. The amazing food, the warm hospitality, the postcard view... all so amazing and over the top. The fish, the pasta, the salad, the mixed vegetables, the house wine, the pear ricotta dessert; everything was so wonderful and delicious. Thank you our friends; Fabio, Luigi, Anita and all at Funiculi Funicula. The Howards

Luigi, the host/waiter is kind, funny, and entertaining. We enjoyed a fabulous meal and a wonderful time with a great view. Probably the best sea bass I've ever had. A pizza to go topped off a great night.

I absolutely loved this place! It was my and my sister’s first time in Italy, and we stayed in the area. This was the first restaurant we ate at, and we had such a great experience… we even came back every day of our trip! Great staff and great food. It was such a welcoming environment. I would highly recommend it if you’re in the area! ✨

Nestled in the heart of Massa Lubrense, L'Antico Scantinato is a delightful dining destination that captures the essence of Italian cuisine. This charming eatery may not boast extravagant decor, but it more than compensates with its warm atmosphere and mouthwatering homemade dishes. Each meal bursts with authentic flavors, showcasing the passion of its owner who also crafts his own exquisite wine—an ideal pairing for your culinary experience.
It’s a family affair. Very welcoming and warm hearted. They will make your experience special and one to remember. The uncle made our 3 pizzas while the niece served. They opened a few minutes early for us - as I need to use the toilets. Only if you’re hungry would I have the meat and cheese plate. Price point is fair and I suggest trying the local wine - very full/flavorful with a nice bit of heat at the end. Overall I’d give it 8/10.

This place is a gem in the middle of Massa Lubrense! Francesco was one of the best hosts I’ve had in a while. He made specific recommendations to every one in our table according to the specific dietary restrictions and everything was right on point! The cheese plate, fried anchovies, pasta, pizza and fish were all spectacular!! Highly recommendedb

Had the pleasure of dining here, a charming spot with a breathtaking view. This isn't a fancy place, but what it lacks in frills, it more than makes up for with its delicious food and welcoming atmosphere. The homemade Italian dishes are absolutely delightful, bursting with authentic flavors. One of the highlights of my visit was meeting the owner, who is not only passionate about his food but also makes his own wine. The wine was fantastic, perfectly complementing the meal. The prices are incredibly friendly, making this a perfect spot for anyone looking to enjoy a great meal. If you're looking for a cozy, unpretentious place with amazing food and a stunning view, this the place to go. Highly recommend!

Pizza restaurant
Italian restaurant
Pizzeria da Franco is a beloved spot known for its exceptional pizza and casual ambiance. The venue offers classic pizzas, sandwiches, and beer in a laid-back setting with bench seating. What sets this pizzeria apart is its famous wood-burning oven that cooks pizzas at high temperatures, resulting in thin and crisp crusts. Additionally, the restaurant serves traditional Italian dishes like saltimbocca alongside their signature pizzas.
Excellent pizza you must visit here. Fabulous and best pizza I've had in Sorrento. Reasonably priced, nice environment, quick service, locals use this for deliveries too which speaks volumes about this pizzeria. I highly recommend you try it here. It's a little outside the centre square of Sorrento but well worth a visit. Highly recommend the quattro, 4 different variations of pizza and well worth it. If not, make sure you get one with a tomato base as it tastes superb (i particularly liked the one with a little garlic in!) Try here you won't regret it!

Fantastic Pizzeria in the Heart of Sorrento We had a wonderful experience at Pizzeria da Franco! The food was absolutely delicious – proper wood-fired pizzas and a lovely dessert to end the meal. The atmosphere was buzzing, full of locals and visitors alike, which gave it a great energy. Service was friendly and fun. Even though it was very busy and things took a bit longer, it was completely understandable and worth the wait. Highly recommend if you’re looking for authentic Italian pizza in a relaxed, vibrant setting. We’ll definitely be back!

Yummy pizza! I had the margarita pizza. Relaxed atmosphere and kind service. Wow this place is popular and I went on an off time because the wait can be insane but still waited, great prices snd delicious food so obviously worth it. Seating outside is available. Loud inside.

I recently dined at Franco and it was fantastic! The pizza was perfectly crispy with fresh, flavorful toppings and rich, tangy sauce—truly authentic. The staff was friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. A must-visit for pizza lovers.

Okay... let's define priorities. For me the food and service matter. Francos gave me an incredible thin crust pizza that was crisp and loaded with quality toppings and flavor. It was impressive. Service was mediocre at best and it's a volume based business so I get it. The paper plates and plastic cups and cutlery really just threw me. It didn't make my pizza taste any less amazing but it was just weird and diminished the experience. I'm sure it saves them money vs a dishwasher, etc. BUT... maybe they had to do it because of the giant pizza ovens they have which probably result in their better pizza. I'm guessing those giant ovens hold the heat better and result in that quality pizza. Would I go back there again for an exceptional pizza at a great price... ABSOLUTELY. Will I still whine about the paper plate and plastic cutlery... probably. PS... as per the picture they have charging stations at all the wall booths and free Wifi... which is an added bonus to the pizza.
Brian H — Google review
With a 4.2-star rating and so many glowing reviews calling this place “fantastic,” “excellent,” and “unmissable,” I was expecting a solid Neapolitan-style pizza. What we got was not Neapolitan pizza — not even close. The crust, which should be the star of a true Neapolitan pie — puffy, airy, chewy with a bit of char — was flat and uninspired. It lacked the texture and flavor you'd expect from a properly fermented dough cooked in a high-heat oven. The toppings didn’t help either — underwhelming and far from the fresh, balanced simplicity that defines this style. Maybe we caught them on an off night, or maybe our expectations were too grounded in what you'd get just a short drive away in downtown Naples. Either way, this was a huge letdown. Based on this first (and likely only) experience, I wouldn't recommend it.

Ate here twice on our week in sorrento , pizza was fabulous then for a panini the next visit and it was amazing. We sat outside it’s a bit noisy by the road but inside looks class and it’s so busy . I definitely recommend so well priced .

Recommended by our taxi driver with three grown children also living in Sorrento. Turned out to be an excellent choice. The mixed appetizer dish was enough for four while waiting for our pizzas. Every ingredient was fresh and tasty, which made our pizzas excellent. The dough was thin and flavorful. The price was also reasonable.

Restaurant
Lo Scoglio is an unassuming establishment that offers a restaurant with oceanfront dining and a private beach area. To reach this seaside eatery, one can hire a boat from Positano. The focus of the menu is on fresh, locally-sourced vegetables from the De Simone family's garden, as well as freshly-caught fish and seafood.
The view at Lo Scoglio is absolutely breathtaking — perfect for a relaxing seaside meal. The food is delicious and full of flavor. The restaurant also has a small beach area where you can swim and rent sunbeds, which is a nice touch. However, I wouldn’t highly recommend it for swimming as there are quite a lot of rocks. Still, it’s a beautiful spot to enjoy great food with an amazing view!

A group of 14 of us went to this restaurant tonight And had a very unpleasant experience. It’s the middle of August and high season however, the restaurant was dead. That should’ve been our first indicator of the poor quality service we were about to receive. When we sat down, the waiters put water on our table and didn’t even bother to pour it into our glasses, we had to ask. Following, we had to waive the waiter down to order drinks and our meals. Food came out at different times and the waiter messed up many orders. Several dishes were forgotten. We actually had to cancel things that he forgot and some of our friends who ordered “fresh pasta“ and waited almost an hour for their food. Again, the restaurant was less than half full, there is no excuse. The waiter seemed annoyed when we asked them what was happening with our meals so out of frustration, we asked for our bill and we left.I would not recommend this restaurant as it’s overpriced and the staff are severely incompetent. The view of the Bay is beautiful, but that’s about it.
Alessandra A — Google review
We had to drag staff over just to get service — four waiters hovered around one table while the rest of us were ignored. There weren’t many people in the restaurant, so it was crazy the service was still this bad. At one point I even had to pour wine myself for a table of ten. To make matters worse, staff seemed more interested in being on their phones than serving customers. For the prices charged here, that’s insulting. The food was average. The zucchini pasta was good but not a standout — maybe it’s gone downhill since Tucci’s visit. Everything else was forgettable, desserts included. You’re really just paying for the view. Reading other reviews, it’s clear our experience isn’t unique. Poor service, overpriced food, and indifference to anyone who isn’t a VIP seem to be the norm here.

Review is only for the restaurant as I did not stay in the rooms. View is amazing of the sea. No bad seat at the restaurant as you will have a view anywhere. We got the sea urchin pasta and the seafood pasta. Both were good but the sea urchin pasta was the best of the two. Service was okay…not great but not bad.

The restaurant lived up to the hype! (I was so worried it would be a disappointment.) Food included the best tasting tomatoes my husband and I have ever tasted. The best dessert (a lemon one of course) of our vacation. Amazing pasta and wine. All accompanied by helpful and friendly service. All around 5 star experience. Bravo!

The restaurant is a classic and the food is delicious, particularly the fresh seafood from the saltwater tank. The real gem is the hotel. Small, cute, well-appointed rooms with a stunning view. This is the dream! So rare to find somewhere like this in Italy these days. Can't wait to come back.

Waited 25 minutes to be served upon lunch arrival. Fried zucchini flower starter was soggy. Nerano pasta was very good but much smaller portion than anywhere else and about 10 euros more. The anchovies were heavenly as were the prawns wrapped in lemon leaves the squid salad was average. No doubt that the location is outstanding. Some of the other restaurants in the area made us feel a lot more welcome and served better food.

We had an amazing Kayaking experience. Our guide Luca made the tour entertaining and fun, he showed us some stunning caves and beaches where we could snorkel and see lots of fishes, while also telling us great stories about the legends and myths of the surrounding islands and some gossip about which celebrities visited the port ;) Even though it was my first time kayaking I felt safe and could enjoy it to the fullest. The Kayak was transparent so we could watch the fishes if we looked through it. It was definitely one of the highlights of our Italy trip and we would warmly recommend it to anyone! Luca even collected some mussels which he gave us at the end so that I can add it to my collection :)

My husband and I had the best day with Luca kayaking in Nerano. For those of you are looking for something more active, this adventure is a great choice. It was a perfect mix of paddling, exploring, swimming and even cliff jumping! Luca was very personable, kind, knowledgeable and fun to be around! We even got to hang out with his dad for the day, which was such a treat. 10/10 recommend!

We booked directly on their website and were lucky enough to be the first trip of their year. We went with Chasing Syrens mostly due to their ability to cater to our 6 and 3 year old kids. Luca was an awesome guide, very understanding of our pace with kids, and flexible. He catered the tour and information to our kids and kept them entertained and engaged. The cherry on top was the super stable, wide, and transparent kayaks that really made this unforgettable! Of our many travels and activities with kids, this was honestly one of our favorites. Cannot recommend Chasing Syrens enough!

Rented 2 kayaks for 3 hours for our own tour (2 adults and 2 kids). We pre-booked it and on the day the weather was not ideal. Luca (owner) was very accommodating in letting us go a couple of days later when the sea was calmer. Luca and his wife were lovely, very friendly and helpful, and we had a great time. The location is awesome... so scenic and pretty. Happily recommend and would love to do it again 🙂

A great experience in Nerano. We had so much fun kayaking and swimming. Luca was an amazing guide with a passion for the outdoors and a zest for life. He shared great stories and took us to some truly beautiful locations. If you find yourself near Marina del Cantone you must give this experience a try.
Clark K — Google review
Well, our expectations were high but they were far exceeded! Luca (guide) is so entertaining, knowledgeable and accommodating; we booked the 90 minute tour but spent closer to 2 hours kayaking around the coast, into caves and a to a small beach, all whilst Luca talked to us about the history of surrounding islands and pointed out unique sea life. The kayaks are transparent which made it all the more interesting! The 6 of us that were doing the activity (3 couples who had never met before) ended up being on the same bus to Nerano and Luca allowed us to take as long as we liked having a meal together before we started the activity, even though it was later than planned. He allowed us to go at our own pace and it was just a fantastic experience. I’d recommend this experience to absolutely anyone! Even if you’re not the fittest, it doesn’t matter because you can take it slow and the kayaks are double ones so your partner can do all the rowing for you! Thank you so much to Luca and his lovely wife (who sells the cutest magnets, decorations and artwork made out of painted stones) - we had an unforgettable experience!

Not very easy to reach due to hard road, but finally, stunning view and cold water. (10 to 15 € entry per person, comprensive of one sunbed and umbrella) showers, bar and quick restaurant inside.

Narrow steep road leads to the car park. The view of Capri is beautiful. Parking is free, but sun loungers with umbrellas cost €30 per person., although the narrow beach was closed because of the risk of accidents. The swell is dangerous even at low wind speeds. We were very disappointed because it was a difficult journey and we could not swim in the sea.
Heinz S — Google review
Not at all worth it! We didn't stay. They tried to charge us 30€ per person so 60€ for this literally not even that pretty "beach" that was mostly in the shadow. You couldn't enter without payment. Oh, and with 60€ you got the third row sun beds, no no, very odd place. Also, the road to the beach is super steep and narrow two way street which doesn't actually fit two cars next to each other. I know it's Italy but this was something else. Please save yourself some headaches and don't go.
Ella W — Google review
Rip Off! Stay away. We drove here to enjoy one of our first beach days around Sorrento but were shocked. We were asked for 30€ each for a sunbed in an empty Area, with rocky water. Unbelievable, you do not even need to pay 60€ in total for the touristic and popular beaches in Amalfi or Positiano. So many better beaches around there!!! Stay away, also very unpolite personnel, which laughs in your face when you say it is too expensive for what it is.
Kevin-David L — Google review
Disgusting and Unbelievable!! Shame to the council that allow the only access to the road to be managed privately even if by law is ILLEGAL to restrict access to the beach!!! we drove there for half an hour following the google map directions and we found a closed gate and no one on the gate. Impossible to reach the beach by car and by feet. Don't waste your time they should just remove from the map if is impossible to access it.

It's true, they don't have first courses on the menu, but who cares, the starters are so rich that even the most demanding ones will feel full. Car management is difficult because you have to go down to a certain point - there is no parking. For those who are not practical like me, I recommend going with a good driver. After the car there is a nice downhill stretch to do. Before arriving at the farmhouse - there are little animals to visit - a bit of a sad scene though for those with children... As for the food however, they offer a sort of fixed menu with courses such as: bruschetta, parmigiana with potatoes , taralli with dried tomatoes, sliced meat (with an intense vinegar flavour). All with house wine. Although I personally didn't find the food exciting, it is definitely a location worth visiting. Only flaw: no poss, only cash. Among other things, there were some of us for whom no tax invoice was issued.

Mary's Beach is a charming family restaurant located right on the beach, offering a warm and sweet welcome from Mary herself at the entrance. The interior exudes a happy seaside atmosphere, perfectly complementing its beautiful beach location. The menu features delicious and fresh seafood dishes, with their famous Spaghetti alla Nerano being a standout choice. Run by a jovial mum and her triplets, this restaurant offers an unforgettable dining experience with delectable food and picturesque views of the beach.
Can't fault this place !! food is fantastic, we tried most of the dishes on the menu while staying in Nerano for the week and loved them all. Would honestly pick Mary's over any of the other restaurants in Nerano. Mary is also a great host and made us feel so welcome along with the rest of the staff who were all lovely. It has a nice relaxing feel to it and we found it to be great value for money ! myself and partner will 100% be back. Thank you Mary 😊

Nice family restaurant with good food and excellent service. They had gluten free options for pasta and main course. Very good drinks :)

This was possibly the best non-gelato food I had in Italy. Getting the check at the end of the meal was a bit slow, but the family who owns it were otherwise so nice and accommodating. I had the dumplings stuffed with the best smoked provolone in the universe, the octopus fish balls with honey and lemon, and the smoothest chocolate mousse cake ever. I even went twice (which I rarely do on vacation). Also there were some great cats.

Amazing place, not a tourist trap at all! Food is delicious including homemade dessert, atmosphere at night is very romantic and with a gorgeous beach view. This is a family restaurant with an extremely nice service. Recommend 100% as an Italian.

A rating of 4.6 is not high enough for this wonderful restaurant! The best food we have had anywhere in Nerano over the past week, lovely people, and right on the beach - look for the orange sunshades.

Sometimes restaurants directly on the beach are average at best, purely for tourists - not this one! Mary and her team are superb hosts with excellent service. The food is utterly delicious: home made pastas, fresh fish, and sumptuous desserts home made each day by their pastry chef… AND you get the best views in marina, day and night. We were staying in the area for just 3 nights and chose to eat here twice

Eughenes is a charming family-owned restaurant in the Amalfi Coast that offers an authentic and delightful dining experience. Visitors rave about the delectable antipasto, zucchini pasta, and a variety of mouthwatering desserts such as torta caprese and Baba Al rum. The warm and inviting service adds to the overall appeal of this establishment. Guests appreciate the reasonable prices for high-quality food, making it a must-visit spot for those exploring the region.
We were blown away by the food quality and prices at this great local restaurant. It looks very unassuming from the outside, but we spent 10 days in Italy, and it was easily the best meal we had. Even though my wife and I didn't have a reservation (you should get one), they were accommodating since we were there right at opening. The staff was friendly, everyone else in there was clearly a local, and the food was fresh and delicious. They even threw in free Limoncello shots at the end. Don't let their lack of a website fool you! 10/10 would recommend. Don't miss out if you're in the area!

What a great local gem! Eughenes is one of the last true local spots, and it really shows in both the food and atmosphere. The restaurant itself is smaller in size, so we made a same-day reservation — definitely a good idea, as it quickly filled up with both locals and tourists as the night went on. The food was absolutely delicious, and the ambiance was casual and welcoming, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy an authentic meal. If you’re looking for one of the last genuine local restaurants in the area, this is the place to be!

The ravioli were a true taste of authentic Italian food. The raviolis were fresh and delicate. The sauce is unique and felt homemade. I also tried the Torta Caprese, classic chocolate and almond cake from the island. I would definitely 100% recommend this place. This place should be a 5- star place, trust me that you’ll love it.

Fine dining restaurant
Italian restaurant
Quattro Passi is a restaurant located in Marina del Cantone, offering a refined and varied cuisine with a focus on seafood. The dishes include appetizers like spring rolls filled with red mullet, tomatoes, basil, and capers, as well as cannelloni made of eggplant filled with ricotta and mozzarella. However, some patrons have noted inconsistencies in the preparation of certain dishes such as undercooked pasta.
A well deserved 3 star Michelin restaurant! Incredible cuisine and the service is outstanding. Mr. Antonio took the time to leave the kitchen and personally greet his guests at their table. We loved this restaurant so much that we returned multiple times during our stay. Mr. Antonio continued to personally welcome us with each visit. He is warm and engaging and he made our trip to Nerano very special! The food, view, decor and grounds are absolutely spectacular.

One of the best of the best. Haven’t tried staying in the rooms so this review is only for the restaurant. The Nerano pasta is a must try - gentle yet impactful flavors. Nothing like I’ve ever tried in this world. Every dish was well thought out and brought you through an experience. Thank you chef and team for this beautiful meal.
Liz — Google review
My opinion comes with all the subjectivity it deserves. After all, who am I to judge the hard work of an entire team, a great chef, and a family pouring their heart and soul into Quattro Passi? I’m just a North American chef who’s had the chance to dine in several Michelin-starred restaurants around the world. So yes, my feedback is shaped by my own background, my palate, and my personal expectations. It was a beautiful evening. The meal was elegant and, in my opinion, truly reflected the chef’s Italian roots, memories, and love for local ingredients. Everything was well-executed and carefully prepared. Still… I must admit that, at times, I missed that spark, that emotional “wow” moment that leaves you speechless or moves you in some unexpected way. Maybe I just didn’t fully understand some of the culinary messages…could be. Overall, I tasted good dishes, but very few that I would describe as truly outstanding or memorable. Service was also very good, but I felt that connection between the kitchen and the guests wasn’t always fully there. As a diner, I crave context… stories behind the ingredients, details about the wine pairings, a glimpse into the “why” behind each dish. Unfortunately, I found some inconsistencies: different tables seemed to get different levels of explanation. I even overheard interesting details about dishes I had already eaten, shared with tables that arrived after me. And then… the desserts. Perhaps it was just the offering that night, but I found them surprisingly simple..not bad at all, but definitely not what I would expect from a three Michelin-star experience. I understand that Italian desserts are often more restrained and less elaborate by tradition… but I still hoped for a little extra creativity or technical flair. That being said: I ate well, I drank well, and I had a genuinely nice time. But deep down, I left with a small sense of disappointment, simply because I was hoping for something even more unique and emotionally striking at this level. Again, who am I to judge? This is just one chef’s humble and personal opinion, shaped by taste and life experience.

My wife and I have been fortunate to have dined at many great restaurants throughout the world. Of course we use the Michelin guide to give us an idea of which restaurants one might consider but we also try to have an open mind and we try to be guided by the chef's vision as we embark on this gastronomic journey together. We were of course excited to dine at this exceptional restaurant. The setting is idyllic in Nerano with breath-taking sea views. We arrived early (usually not our style but we wanted to enjoy sunset at this wonderful location) and were greeted warmly. After a minor delay we were then whisked to our beautiful corner table with a wonderful sea view. Salvatore and Antonio introduced themselves and were excellent servers Every course we had was fresh, creative and full of flavor. The wine pairings complemented our meal wonderfully and Kiara the sommelier guided us masterfully through these wonderful wines. Overall we were impressed with this wonderful place and feel it has a well deserved three Michelin stars.

I can confidently say that this restaurant was the best experience I had in Italy. I was treated most warmly by the restaurant with first-class service, which made the experience even more delightful. The interior was majestic, with open windows to enjoy the spectacular weather coming from the sea. The food was sublime. Some highlights for me were: 1. Appetizer, inspired by Quattro Passi's early days as a pizzeria 2. Mullet Wafer: Must-try, my favorite dish. I can't emphasize this dish enough, I'm confident this is the best fish I've ever tasted in my life. 3. Tomato pasta: It looks like any normal tomato pasta, with only noodle and red sauce, but the flavor is out of this world. Really really surprised by the flavor, the richness of the tomato is so dense, it completely dominates. 4. Saffron, rice, chocolate tart: Wonderfully rich flavor, with fun textures coming from the rice grains It's quite difficult to travel there, but I sincerely wish I can enjoy another meal at this place again in the future.

Antonio, the owner, his sons, and staff have created an experience like visiting your long lost Italian family. They’re professional yet warm and welcoming. From the diverse cuisine to the artistic decor, and cozy, elegant atmosphere, all visiting Nerano should not miss this opportunity. After the dinner experience, we went back several days for coffee/pastries along with evening cocktails/wine at the bar. They will even take you to and from the restaurant at your request. A must “do” in Nerano!
Lissa T — Google review
This review is for the restaurant only. One of the few 3 star Michelin restaurants in Italy, it's well deserved when looking at the service, food and decorations. Everything about the experience was fantastic and unique. Small tips: - There is a private parking lots for guests right next to the restaurant. If you're lost, just ask the front desk and they'll point you to where to go. The parking lot is extremely tight though, so watch out for your car. - Speaking of tight, the road to get here is also some of the toughest driving I've done. There aren't too many options to get here easily, so if you're renting a car like us, be mentally prepared. - The restaurant seems to be bookable for a good chunk of the day, but if you want the view, avoid booking in the evening. We made the mistake of taking one of the later evening spots and when we arrived, the entire area was pitch black. Sadly this meant the view was a waste in our dining experience.

It took us close to 2 hours to come from Naples but wow it was worth it. Crazy good views, very friendly and down to earth service and most certainly the best food i have eaten in Italy. The zuccini flowers with ricotta was mind blowing while the lasagne is easily the best i have had. Loved every minute of this amazing experience!

Nestled in the picturesque Marina del Cantone, Framar is a hidden gem that truly embodies traditional Italian charm. Recommended by our boat tour guide, this delightful restaurant exceeded all expectations with its warm and welcoming atmosphere. The culinary highlights included the unforgettable Spaghetti alla Nerano, which was hailed as the best dish of our Italian adventure! We also savored incredible prawns and an intriguing ravioli with orange sauce that left us wanting more.
Our boat tour guide recommended this place and we were not disappointed. This place has a real traditional authentic charm and the staff made us feel so welcome. The Spaghetti alla Nerano was the best we had the whole time we were in Italy, as you’d expect!!, (its better than the one we had at Lo’Scoglio!). We also had the prawns (amazing!!) and a ravioli with orange sauce which was really interesting and still delicious. The restaurant also offers a free boat taxi/shuttle service which is really cool if you visit from the sea! Would definitely visit again!

Lubrense Boats offers a memorable experience to explore the beautiful island of Capri and Anacapri. The company's professional team ensures a relaxed and safe journey with their high-quality and modern equipment. Guests have enjoyed informative, fun, and comfortable boat trips with Italian hosts Fabrizio, Antonio, Rafael, and Antonino.
A definite highlight of our honeymoon, especially because our guides saved our trip from disaster! More on that in a minute. The tour was amazing and the guides are very knowledgeable. I loved being part of a small group (about 10) and we all got to know each other quickly. We got to see all the Capri highlights, including the blue grotto. The grotto fills up very quickly, so our guides rushed to be the first boat that arrived. We were literally racing other boats across the gulf. With expert timing and some skillful navigation, we made it. It was awesome to be some of the first people allowed in for the day. After the blue grotto, we toured around Capri seeing the most famous sights from the sea. The landmarks were beautiful, but our captain's sailing skills were arguably even more impressive--he was able to get us mere feet away from the cliffs, even in chop, holding the boat perfectly still. Then we got to the port of Capri, where we would have a few hours to explore the island on our own. This is when the aforementioned potential disaster struck--as we stepped off the boat, my husband realized he didn't have his wallet. In a few moments of panic we realized he must have left it at the blue grotto--completely across the island. I asked Sharon and our captain if they knew someone we could call, and mentally prepared myself to spend our entire time on the island trying to recover it. Instead, Sharon pulled us back on the boat and before I knew it we were racing back to the blue grotto, no questions asked. When we got there, we were last in a line of boats. The blue grotto staff ignored our radio calls, thinking we were just trying to get their attention to jump the line. We waited five tense minutes with no news. Luckily, our captain was personal friends with one of the staff, who he was able to reach on his personal cell phone. We watched, breathless, as they searched the small boat we had entered the blue grotto in. I swear the entire grotto erupted in cheers when the wallet was held up to the sky. Sharon and our captain were nearly as happy as we were! Then they whisked us back across the island to make sure we still had time to explore Capri. On the way, Sharon explained that on the way back to the blue grotto our captain had already begun contacting friends to figure out our next steps for getting money, identification, etc in case we weren't able to find the wallet. Clearly we were in good hands! I will always be grateful that they so professionally saved our honeymoon from this crisis, and were able to ensure we still got a few hours on Capri. We decompressed at the end of the tour by jumping into the chilly Mediterranean, and Sharon sent us off with some wonderful personalized recommendations. I can't imagine a tour better than this. Professional, experienced crew who knew exactly what to do in a worst case scenario, who also felt like friends by the end of the day and fostered a great atmosphere. A small group on a roomy, comfortable boat. Plenty of time to enjoy everything Capri has to offer. What else do you want from a tour?

Capri Boat Tour From Sorrento We had an incredible boat tour to Capri, and it was one of my favorite days of our trip. Our guide, Michele, was absolutely fantastic—kind, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the area. He made the experience both fun and informative, pointing out beautiful spots and sharing interesting facts along the way. The boat itself was very clean and comfortable, making the journey even more enjoyable . Cruising around the island was such a unique and beautiful way to see Capri. Especially being able to see the blue grotto, our guide made it a seamless experience.

We cannot recommend this enough! We started the morning going to capri. We got there at a perfect time before all the other tourists showed up. We were able to enjoy the lift up to Ana Capri and enjoy the views without a lot of people. We also got to enjoy the shops. We got back to the boat for the most relaxing and beautiful day. Our guides were experts on the water. They guided us through fairly choppy waters and made it so you could barely even feel the chop. They took us to all the different grottos and made sure we had enough time to swim. To top off the entire trip they offered us a free shuttle ride back to our hotel. Best day ever. Thanks Lubrense Boats!

Be sure to head up the alleyway opposite of the gallery entrance. When we visited, there was a Sophia Loren tribute display. The photography and artwork are incredible!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Rafaele Clentano Gallery. I must say, their unique approach to customer service is truly unforgettable! If you’re looking for an experience that leaves you questioning your life choices, this is the place for you. The atmosphere is vibrant, especially when you’re asked to leave unexpectedly! It really adds a thrilling twist to the day. I’m sure the owner is just passionate about maintaining a specific vibe—one that clearly doesn’t include clients. For those seeking a studio that values their customers, you might want to look elsewhere. But if you enjoy a bit of excitement and unpredictability, you might just love it here! Wishing the team all the best in their future endeavors!

Amazing! You have to visit his exhibition in Sorrento. Great photography and the view with the arrangement outside is super great.

An opportunity to see excellent black-and-white photography of everyday Italian people. We also paid €20 for a photoshoot in the Alfa Romeo. From the session we received the digital files for about 50 photos. Emma was an excellent photographer. Recommend a visit, especially if you enjoy photography.

Great place! So much amayzing stories. Art is emotional and deep (and sometimes erotic and romatic)! Need to chat with personal to get information of Rafaele biography and this artwork! Definitly worth to see! Thank you! 🫶

Ristorante Pizzeria Da Michele is a delightful dining spot that offers exceptional food and service. The risotto with lemon was particularly impressive, offering a burst of freshness that left a lasting impression. The tartare made from fresh shrimps was also a standout dish, delivering a symphony of flavors. The limoncello spritz added a delightful twist to the meal, complementing the citrus theme perfectly.
A very nice family run restaurant with a view of the marina and out towards Isola da Ischia. I found the servings were generous and delicious. I started with a charcuterie-style offering of local cold meats (Prosciutto di Parma e Treccia di fior di latte di Massa Lubrense), and then had the linguine with mussels as primi (Linguine con cozze e pecorino). I had intended to have secondi but, even though we had plenty of time and were not rushed, I knew I could not manage another course.... Well, I did squeeze in a dessert! We were staying about 20 minutes walk along the shore, but we asked the restaurant if they would pick us up (6 of us), and they drove us home too. Great service, great atmosphere and great fresh food.

The best meal on the peninsula for the week by far. The Pezzogna al Sale was one of the best fishes I’ve ever eaten. The Pastiera napoletana and Torta caprese al limone were excellent cakes for desert. Amazing sunset view, cool breeze, lovely service, great reasonable wine. Another day we had great pizza, recommend the mortadella and pistachio.

We had a wonderful dinner at Da Michele in Massa Lubrense with our two children. The setting is absolutely stunning – we enjoyed a spectacular sunset while dining, with a view that is simply unforgettable. The food was excellent, the service warm and attentive, and the wine list impressive. Michele, the owner, made the experience even more special by offering us super-delicious figs he had just picked from his trees behind the restaurant – such a personal and authentic touch. Everything about the evening was perfect: great food, great view, great service. Highly recommended!

We had the pizza the first time we went and it was very good. We came back for a large group dinner at the restaurant and were blown away. The service was great. Attentive and patient and lots of suggestions. The atmosphere at sunset was spectacular. The food was absolutely delicious. It’s a pretty varied menu and everything was impressive. We’d come back here often if we were close by. Highly recommend it

What a delicious place!! Best seafood meal I’ve eaten in my life. Ordered the Scialatielli ai frutti di mare and it was just spectacular. The atmosphere was also amazing and the servers incredibly nice. Highly recommend!

We had a great dinner with my son and husband at Michele's restaurant. The food was excellent, the waitress was nice and attentive. The place is lovely, right at the little port. Highly recommended!

Fuoro51 is a trendy winery and restaurant located in the historic center of Sorrento. The contemporary design of the restaurant complements its intriguing menu, which offers dishes with a modern twist. The Sorrentine gnocchi and burrata with anchovies are particularly outstanding. The rustic wine bar boasts an extensive collection of red, white, sparkling, and rose wines from the Campania region. Guests can enjoy their drinks at barrel tables inside or outside in the charming piazza.
I didn’t know what a true 5-star experience was until dining here! The service was outstanding, our server was incredibly polite, helpful, and made us feel so welcome. The entire staff was equally impressive, creating a warm and professional atmosphere. We followed their recommendations for our meal, and every dish was an absolute delight, there were no letdowns here! The outdoor terrace seating was perfect, despite the busy street, it was surprisingly quiet with a fantastic vibe.

Highly recommend! Amazing food, wine and staff. Very flavoursome and a great selection to choose from. We enjoyed this place so much we went twice and was quite easily the best place we ate during our 2 week Italy trip! The staff were also so lovely, gave great recommemdations on wine and food. A must visit for Sorrento! ❤️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A lovely restaurant / wine bar in an alley just off the main avenue of Sorrento Centro. We were able to be seated with no reservation thankfully. Service was great. We loved our meals as well as people watching on a busy Friday evening (Ferreagosto). They even brought out watermelon for us to join in on the celebration. I would definitely return to try more of the menu!

My favourite place we found in Sorrento - so much so we were there 3 times in a week - once for just drinks, once for lunch and once for dinner. Each time was better than the last! The waiters are so friendly, polite and kind - their wine knowledge and professionalism was really perfect. The food speaks for itself and is absolutely delicious. Stand out favourites were the bruschetta and the veal cheek with mash potato - simply stunning. Thank you for such a lovely experience!

Food and wine highlight of our trip! Great, friendly service from Antonio. They have a vast selection of wines and managed to have the wine we found from Ischia which no one else seems to sell (Crateca, Biancolella). The food was soo tasty and took us a while to finally decide what we’d eat as there was great choice, and not what you find everywhere else. We may be back again to try the rest.

Everything was tasty and well presented. Immaculate service. Portions are not big but they are ok if you compare with the price and flavors. Highly recommended plate is the artichoke even though all plates were very nice.

For sure the best restaurant we have been in Sorrento. We got a table on the street but they also have options inside. The service was very polite and attentive. The food was absolutely perfect. The best Carbonara of my life and the guancia di vitella was also tasty and tender. We didn't had a wine on this night but they have a huge wine list.

Marvellous food and wine. The staff are brilliant too. Order the bruchetta, especially the tomato one, best tomatoes I've ever ever had. The truffle pasta is amazing too.

A lovely family run restaurant right by the marina, offering beautiful sunset views. It’s an outdoor spot with a relaxed atmosphere, great food, and good service. Prices were reasonable, and the menu had plenty of choices to suit everyone. Overall, a wonderful dining experience in Sorrento that I’d happily recommend.

Seafood restaurant
Antico Francischiello is a charming restaurant located between Sant'Agata and Massa Lubrense, offering stunning views of olive trees stretching towards the sea. Established in 1909, this eatery has been a beloved spot for lovers of authentic Campanian cuisine across three generations. The ambiance is set by two spacious dining rooms adorned with antique decor, including old chandeliers and mirrored sideboards.
A very characterful traditional Italian restaurant in a beautiful setting overlooking the sea and the island of Capri. Food was really delicious and well presented. Fair value. Very friendly and thorough service. Definitely recommended!

This restaurant is a hidden gem! Have been in Sorrento for a week and eaten at many so called genuine Italian restaurants, nothing comes close to the Antico! The is beyond superb and cooked with such a delicate touch. The menu leaves you spoilt for choice, but whatever you choose it WILL be delicious! The views are spectacular with a panoramic view from Mount Vesuvius through to the Isle of Capri, totally uninterrupted! The sunset is amazing too! The family run Antico leaves you wanting for more, sadly we visited on our last night so will not be able to visit again until we return to Sorrento. But I do not want anyone else to miss the opportunity to experience this wonderful restaurant! Pictures of the late Pavarotti on the wall show how good the reputation of Antico is! We wouldn't have found it without our receptionist Lauren recommending it at Grand Hotel Aminta!

The ravioli was delicious! Beautiful view across to Capri. Very intricately decorated place and had a nicely homely feel. There’s a few parking spaces directly outside which was helpful. Great lunch stop on the way from Naples to Sorrento. Highly recommend.

Ravioli was very good and the seafood risotto too. It’s a must eat in Sorrento. Fried prawns with asparagus was good too. Very friendly and helpful staff. This restaurant is since 1909. With 116 years history run by the 5th generation now. The food is good so is the sunset view.

A Trip Down Memory Lane Dining at this restaurant felt like stepping back into the sixties, capturing the essence of classical Campania ambiance. From the moment we entered, we were taken aback by the stunning decor and spectacular views. On a warm day, the open windows enhanced the overall atmosphere, allowing us to soak in both the sights and sounds of the surroundings. Even before tasting the food, we were thoroughly impressed. The owner personally visited our table to suggest specialties, a list that felt like a second menu. We opted for the shared “family-style” antipasti, and it proved to be an excellent choice. A delightful array of beautifully presented dishes arrived, offering a wide variety that catered to every palate. The spaghetti with lobster was splendid, and the caramelized ravioli with pesto and courgette was equally remarkable. Each dish was prepared with care and showcased the freshness of the ingredients. We learned that the Delizia Limone dessert originated here, so we made sure to leave room for it. We were undeniably glad we did! The Delizia Limone was smooth, moist, fresh, and delightfully light, a dessert I won't soon forget. The staff were professional and friendly, contributing to a thoroughly enjoyable experience only 15 minutes from Sorrento. To top it all off, the Chef kindly drove us back to our hotel, demonstrating exceptional hospitality. This restaurant offers an experience characterized by "Hospitality" with a capital H!

I had delicious Cannelloni, crispy steak medium rare inside and Amalfi style octopus and seafood risotto and they were all very well cooked. I suggest you try the pastas and the pizza. Their dessert selection is very rich and you can choose from many delicious cakes. The interiors are colorful and reflect the authenticity of the restaurant. Even the way they serve your dishes and the dessert. They have a touch of nostalgic glamour.

What an experience! We have had an absolute culinary feast at Francischiello. I ate a lot of pasta in my life (believe me), and this must have been one of the top 3 plates I have ever had. First, the place is absolutely stunning. Recommend you to research the sunset time and come half hour/hour before the sun sets, the views are breathtaking. Our party ordered few starters to share, which were delicious, but honestly, little overpriced. However, the primi and fish plates delivered absolute heaven, and were reasonably priced. Food was stunning - perfectly balanced, very creative and nice presentation. Respecting local ingredients with bit of a modern twist. Sweets too were absolutely amazing - coming in fancy little desert tower cart, which was cool way to display all and choose not only based on written menu, but also on other senses. I especially appreciated that you could taste half portion of all deserts just to test out. My favourite delicia Di Limone delivered fantastic light fresh flavor with bit of sourness and bitterness of Sorrento lemon - just perfect way to balance. Wine and aperitives (limoncello and grappa) write fantastic way to end our culinary experience - we really enjoyed a lot. Lastly, I really liked to walk through the historic part of the restaurant. It is fill of hidden gems and super exciting to see every small detail. All in all, fully recommend the restaurant. I will certainly be coming back whenever in area, it was an absolute heaven.
