Marine Protected Area Punta Campanella is a renowned natural area offering stunning views, a serene atmosphere, and opportunities for diving, fishing, and tours. It is located at the end of the Sorrentine Peninsula between Punta Campanella and Punta Penna. The area features unspoiled beauty with rocky formations covered in Mediterranean scrub and olive groves.
Breathtakingly beautiful. You really need to do the drive. Wait, if you're scared of heights maybe let someone else drive you but still get in the car, bus or whatever and go! It's totally worth it and you'll be happier for doing it. Honestly the pictures I'm posting don't do justice

A lovely marina for boats to Capri and Amalfi. Nice restaurants (recommend Angelo's) and two seperate beach areas down to the right.

We had an absolutely breathtaking day on the water with our captain Carmine! We enjoyed swimming in caves and the open water, a delicious lobster lunch and soaking up the sun with a glass if wine.

After a stunning day-trip up the Amafi coast this was a view of the sunset over Capri on the way back to Sorrento. A long day but absolutely worth it. On this trip we really only had time to get a flavour of the places visited, my unquestionable favourite being Positano. A day out you'll never forget.

Beautiful natural place where to swim, fish take sun or just take shower into a natural, freezing waterfall!! You can reach this place just by boat but it deserve to be visited!! Don't miss it

If you hire your own boat and skipper with some friends and family, exploring the Amalfi Coast with your own unique itinerary isn't terribly expensive. Spend a 90-minute stop in Capri, then explore the different colored grottos, swim in the Med and stop for lunch at a small village beachside restaurant

Marina Lobra is a charming village located near the rugged Amalfi Coast, offering daily boat trips to Capri and cliffside towns. The area consists of several hamlets connected by narrow roads winding between ancient farms, olive and lemon groves. Visitors can explore the stradine or sentieri that criss-cross the area, leading to picturesque spots like the monastery of San Francesco and Marina del Cantone.
We had the most incredible day touring Capri, and it was all thanks to our amazing captain, Frank! From the moment we stepped on board, he made us feel welcome, relaxed, and excited for the adventure ahead. Frank was not only professional and knowledgeable but also incredibly fun and personable. He shared great stories about the island, took us to breathtaking spots around Capri (including some hidden gems!), and made sure we had plenty of time to swim, relax, and take in the beauty of the coastline. The boat was comfortable and well-kept, and the whole experience felt personalized and smooth from start to finish. If you're planning a trip to Capri, I can't recommend this tour—and Captain Frank—enough. It was truly the highlight of our trip!
Moe F — Google review
Would have loved to give this place a 5 but it just seems a little unorganized when people get on and off the boat. There needs to be an easier process to get people off and on. People were rushing and shoving each other to get off the boat. The men on the boat were extremely helpful and nice. Just think it be a better experience if it was organized better.
Kimberly G — Google review
Our boat made a brief, five-minute stop at Marina Lobra, and it was a genuinely great experience. The marina is a beautiful, peaceful place. Even in that short time, the charm of the little fishing village was obvious. It felt like a hidden gem, a perfect little slice of coastal life away from the crowds. It's a shame we couldn't stay longer, but the brief glimpse was a memorable highlight.
Pavan N — Google review
The team were friendly and really well organised! And was far cheaper booking direct than via our holiday operator. They had a coordinator rushing ahead of the coach, to each hotel, to make sure all passengers were ready, for a seamless pickup Boat was clean and crew helpful and friendly. I was particularly impressed that, in a choppier/rougher area conditions, the captain had opted to leave the forward half of the top deck (around 40 seats incomer lost) free of passengers, to ensure a smoother and safer ride for everyone else. Tour of Capri was informative, and the return journey was at sunset, so offered spectacular photo opportunities. Great job, highly recommend!
Dave B — Google review
Beautiful, peaceful, where the locals go. There are some great sunbathing spots, and some great cafes, bars and restaurants
Stuart A — Google review
Its a tour company specialising in boat tours. They picked us up from the hotel as arranged and took us to the harbour. Its a little outside sorrento and not the most attractive, better from the sea, and it's a working harbour. Tour went really well, Amalfi and Positano, and we were delivered back to out hotel in comfort. So Quite a long day, 11 hours in total but well worth it. One slight warning, the path from the tour company checkpoint to the boat could cause people with walking difficulties a problem. There were a couple on our tour that managed but struggled a little. Just something to be aware of.
K H — Google review
The day we went to Capri (21 Octobre) was rainy and foggy and the sea was rough. It could have been a failure, were it not for our fantastic guide Giovanni, who was determined to keep spirits up and make us discover the beauties of Capri in spite of the wheather! On the way back his singing performance distracted us from the waves pouring over the front of the boat. It was a memorable day! The pickup service functioned well and made us discover the coastline west of Sorrento and the little port of Massa Lubrense.
Sigrun H — Google review
We had a fantastic private boat trip to Positano and Li Galli Islands with Marina Lobra which I booked up well in advance with Ivan. The company picked us up from our villa, the boat was ready for us on arrival and we set off from Massa Lubrense to the Amalfi Coast. The scenery is absolutely beautiful. We passed by the Li Galli islands and enjoyed wonderful views of Capri and Vesuvius. Our driver was excellent in fairly windy conditions. We had a fantastic stop in Positano with time for lunch and sightseeing. We then took our time returning with a stop for swimming and lying out in the sunshine. All in all a wonderful trip!

Sights & Landmarks
Azienda Agrituristica "La Masseria" is a family-owned farm that offers an enriching experience through their olive groves and lemon orchards. The hosts are known for their charm and hospitality, providing insightful tours about sustainable farming practices passed down through four generations. Visitors can enjoy a leisurely tour with minimal walking, culminating in a visit to the cellar for wine tasting and a traditional home-cooked meal using fresh farm ingredients.
Amazing tour and food experience. The tour was educational and fun, and the food was outstanding. The farm is family run by the third and fourth generations. They were very accommodating for our party of 8, with ages ranging from 4 to 82, and they have a shuttle service from Sorento, or you can arrange your own transportation from elsewhere. They have farm grown products for sale at the end of the tour and meal, and they can even ship them home for you. You can really tell that the family pours all of their hearts and efforts into what they grow and what they feed you.
Steve B — Google review
Booked the tour/tasting through Get Your Guide that included transportation from Sorrento. Farm tour was with one of the sons of the family, the father also came along with us. A really great time - learned a lot, got to feed the animals, good tasting and nice traditional meal of farm to table food at the end. The family was incredibly sweet and hospitable. Would highly recommend!

Great terraced working farm set in only 12 acres. The sons have opened up to visits to boost business. Mum and dad still work the farm We had a tour, tasted the wonderful produce and had a delicious lunch cooked by mum. Brilliant few hours, interesting and enjoyable. I wish them well. They deserve it as they work so hard

Really loved this tour. 100% recommend!!! Fantastic small family farm and business, everyone was really nice and friendly, the tour guides (Raffaelo and Eugenio) were hilarious and made the experience unforgettable. After the tour we got to try food, wine and limoncello grown and prepared on the farm - it was excellent. A great way to support a local business and have a great time as well. At the end there is the opportunity to buy farm produce which we will enjoy at home!
Marianabiscoito — Google review
One of our favorite things we did while staying in Sorrento! The family was lovely, gave a wonderful tour, and answered questions. Our teenager even enjoyed the visit. We loved seeing their animals and petting them, seeing what they grow and why, learning about the history of their farm, and the lunch they prepared was delicious. We brought back olive oil and limoncello from their farm, perfect souvenirs that we will absolutely enjoy! Definitely recommend booking a tour and lunch at this farm!
Angela L — Google review
Really great morning exploring the farm. Very interesting to learn about lemons, olives, wine, etc. Very informative and Raffaele was a fantastic host. Knowledgable and funny. A masters in agriculture no less! The food was lovely and my wife purchased way too much stuff after… no idea where it’s all going in the suitcases! This includes a bottle of their delicious red wine.

We spent 4 days in Rome and 3 days in Sorrento, and this trip was one of our favourite experiences. The farm is beautiful, and the family is wonderful. Raffaele, one of the fourth generation sons was welcoming and friendly, and really interesting and informative. The food and drink were delicious, and all from the farm to the table - including the limoncello which could put hairs on your chest! We would definitely recommend a visit!

Nestled at the edge of Sorrento, Bagni Regina Giovanna is a captivating destination that combines history with natural beauty. A leisurely 35-40 minute walk leads you to the remnants of an ancient Roman villa, where you'll discover a stunning hidden cove. This secluded spot features a natural archway through which crystal-clear waters flow into a tranquil pool, making it an ideal retreat for those seeking solace away from crowded beaches.
A local who lives in the U.S. now recommend this spot to us. It took a bus and a 15 minute walk, but it was our second best day in Sorrento. It was busy, but not packed. A few tourists but a lot of locals. We felt like locals. We bought sandwiches in town, wine, and made a day of it. Highly recommend! Be respectful and take your trash out.
Zach — Google review
Beautiful spot. About a 15-minute walk from the bus stop. The path is manageable, but the final steps down to the water can be a bit tricky—especially if you're wearing flip-flops. Overall, definitely worth a visit for a refreshing swim in a unique setting.
Giorgos A — Google review
Bagni della Regina Giovanna is an interesting spot with beautiful views and a natural swimming pool carved into the rock. The place itself is picturesque and unique. The best way is to take a bus from Sorrento and then walk about 15 minutes to reach the beach. In the high season, it gets very crowded, which makes it hard to fully enjoy. Worth visiting once for the views and history, but not a place I would rush back to.
Kamil O — Google review
We loved this little escape from Sorrento! Packed some snacks and spent a good few hours here. A fairly easy walk 40min-ish from town with lots of beautiful scenery and views along the way, you do need to walk along the road for parts though which was a little sketchy at times but added to the adventure. There's some rocks to scramble over at both swimming places and no real beach to put your stuff so pack light.
Annette A — Google review
Beautiful swimming spot easily accessible by a the 008 bus (€2 per person) from Sorrento center and then a short 10-15 minute walk down from the bus stop. The walk isn’t strenuous or too inclined, and is manageable in flip flops. Be aware that there isn’t much of a beach but you can find a couple flat rocks to relax on. We found it super crowded with people coming down the stairs but not having anywhere to sit at the bottom, creating a lot of congestion. Maybe it’s better to go earlier in the morning when the masses haven’t arrived. Once you’re in, you can swim through the ancient archway through to the ocean side of the swimming hole. You can do some cliff jumping here; it’s probably about 10 meters high. The day we went there was a lot of surge so some trash was washing through into the ‘beach’ side so we preferred drifting on the ocean side a lot more. Near the cliff jumping spot are a couple leveled places to lie down and sun tan or picnic with a great view of the cliffs of Sorrento! Enjoy and remember to buy some water at the shop at the beginning of the path down to the beach, there aren’t any shops, toilets or facilities down there.
Sam B — Google review
The most gorgeous place I have ever been to, we walked an hour to get there quite a rocky walk but every second was worth it. Strongly recommend, can see fish under the water, very salty water, able to swim under the cove. Beautiful.
Nicola P — Google review
A kind of natural swimming pool with a passage connected to the sea. There are not much space can be used as beach/shore. The rocks can be used for your towels or bags. Kayaking and scuba diving daily tours also visit here, so it is not a hidden gam but worth to go and swim. Thera are walking paths to other rocky beaches around the area. An interesting place to visit and swim. There is bus from Sorrento center. If you go by your own car, there is car park at the beginning of the path to the seaside. Car park can be full if you are late.
Sezin H — Google review
Wow! What a great place to go for a swim. The walk down is a bit rocky, so bring some good shoes or sturdy sandals (not flip flops). The natural pool with its clear dark turquoise water is stunning. There are alot of rocks around and in the water, so may I suggest swimming shoes if you have. The place can become a little crowded and there is no beach, so you’ll need to leave your personal belongings on the rocks. An opening in the rocks connects the pool to the sea, though the water there can be a bit rough for swimming. A must see!

Villa Comunale di Sorrento is a charming park that resembles a town square and is a popular attraction due to its exotic plantings, seasonal flowers, and large shady trees. The park offers panoramic views of the Bay of Naples, with tourists flocking to capture the endless coastal scenery. Visitors can enjoy sights such as Marina San Francesco, Marina Piccola, Marina Grande, and Mount Vesuvius from the park's railings.
Amazing view of the sea and beaches! We really loved it. You can take a beautiful photo and then walk down to the sea and the beaches. On the way down, you get to enjoy the views of the charming houses in the hills and all the stunning scenery around you. I’ve also added a photo of the sunbed and umbrella prices — not cheap, but pretty much the same as everywhere along the Sorrento coast.

Villa Comunale in Sorrento is a truly fantastic spot that offers some of the best views in the city. It's a great place to just relax and unwind, especially in the evening. We spent some time there watching the sunset, and it was a genuinely calm and soothing experience. The panoramic views of the entire Sorrento coast from the park are simply breathtaking. The way the light hits the water and the cliffs is beautiful, and it makes for a perfect place to just sit on a bench and take it all in. It's a simple pleasure, but a great way to end a day of sightseeing and escape the crowds for a bit.

Museums
Museo Correale di Terranova is located in the heart of Sorrento, housed within the Palazzo Correale, a historical 18th-century villa. The museum showcases an extensive collection of art and artifacts across three floors and 24 rooms, with additional exhibition space in the attic.
A serene oasis in the heart of lively Sorrento! The Museo Correale di Terranova is wonderfully quiet, with only a few visitors wandering through its elegant halls. The collection of antiques is stunning—a graceful tribute to the legacy of the Medici and Correale families. I highly recommend it for anyone seeking a peaceful escape from the bustling shops, restaurants, and traffic outside.
Tarah N — Google review
An excellent private collection given to the town. The archaeological rooms were closed when I visited but very much enjoyed the mainly 19th paintings of Sorrento and Naples and wished it looked more like that now rather than the present day chaos with the traffic and tourists. Some beautiful views from the villa across the Bay of Naples. You'll spend about an hour here.
Chris J — Google review
The grounds are beautiful and the archeological movie is the basement gave me some great perspective on what I was seeing around the town. If you follow the path all the way to the end you end up on a terrace of a very expensive hotel - Grand Hotel Ambasciatori Sorrento ($1,300€/night). Guess that view alone might be worth the $15€ admission each. The art and furniture displays are interesting but after everywhere we have been it's not really comparable to other options in the general area. No pictures of the art, furniture and collectibles displays as they ask that you don't take pictures.
Brian H — Google review
It's okay, it's a nice museum but hard to see the value for money here. 15 euros was quite a lot for very little. I would say that the marquetry on the furniture is amazing and it's good to see the historical furniture on show. The painting exhibition wasn't particularly well lit so we didn't feel that it was a pleasant experience overall.
Stephen K — Google review
Great place to see and learn about the origins of the city. It wont take much time to visit.
Richard R — Google review
You will need time to go through this Museum, which is a short walk from the Town centre. It has a very large collection of paintings, furniture, clocks and ceramics. Sadly there were few translations in English, except in the section on the excavations of Sorrento. However, one member of staff on watch, who spoke English, was really helpful when we came across an exquisite "multipurpose" ladies dressing table. Dore was really knowledgeable and told us so much about this interesting piece of furniture. The Correale has engaging gardens and grounds with pathways leading to a lovely cafe area overlooking the sea, though the cafe was shut when we were there.
Amy — Google review
Fascinating eclectic exhibitions of art and furniture in a fine old building that is now sadly quite neglected, as are the gardens. The entrance charge is quite high in comparison to far better museum/galleries. Nevertheless, an interesting visit providing an insight to the region's history.
Rent M — Google review
Beautiful exhibits detailing the vivid history of the region. For 8 Euros a person, this museum is a must if you're visiting Sorrento. Top it off with a leisurely stroll through their gorgeous garden - you will not regret it!

Immerse yourself in the rich cultural heritage of Sorrento at the Museo Bottega della Tarsia Lignea, located in an 18th-century palace adorned with stunning frescoes. This museum showcases the traditional art of marquetry, a craft dating back to the 14th century and flourishing in the 19th century.
Amazing collection of decorative wood over 3 floors. Shows the skilled woodworking starting from the nineteenth century. Partial frescos on the ceiling of some rooms that you almost miss due to the excellent furniture and paintings. Displays were very informative.
Grant R — Google review
This is a really lovely museum set in a very interesting building in the center of Sorrento. The first little corridor is not very inspiring, but it's easy to get completely immersed in finding out what's in all the little draws in the next three floors. My partner who is an architect was absolutely entranced by the quality of the sketch work and the beautiful and unusual shapes of some of the furniture. It's also really lovely how the museum sets the scene (social, industry, fashion etc.) before moving on to much of the tarsilinear work so that the scenes depicted can be really understood. The woodworking tools were also fascinating, as was the discussion of wood staining. You can easily spend 2 hours here if you take the time to get the most out of it. Well worth a visit.

Visiting Sorrento for the day. The museum’s actual website literally says FREE ENTRY. We get there and a woman refuses to acknowledge the website and insists on charging 10 € per person. We email and try to call the office. Zero response. Very disappointing and even if it were free, I’m not wasting my time.
Yan-Xin L — Google review
Not sure what to make of this museum it’s neither one thing or the other. I was expecting an immersive experience in the art of making fret work and intricate wooden things. There’s a bit in that but it seems to tell more about the history of Sorrento. It’s interesting nonetheless and a bit pricey at €10 each. You’ll learn stuff but not how they make super thin wooden veneer, how they cut it or make things.
Martin W — Google review
If you only have time for one thing in Sorrento visit this museum. The wood work is absolutely beautiful. The detail in mosaics and all sorts of designs is incredible without the use of modern technology. You can find similar wood work in a couple shops around Sorrento but you should really check out the history behind it.

Wonderful museum with four floors of great exhibits. There are many tapestries in Italian and English to help explain the history. There is a set of book and pieces you can buy. Well with the $10 entry.

Well worth a visit when you're in Sorrento. The displays are excellent and the building itself, a 16th century baron's house, is amazing.

A nice little museum if you're interested in marquetry, both ancient and modern, with some truly jaw-dropping exhibits. It's quite warm inside, so not a place to cool down in if it's boiling outside.

Monastero di San Paolo offers a stunning 360-degree panorama from the top of Belvedere, providing breathtaking views of the Peninsula of Sorrento, Capri, and the Salerno area. The monastery is located about a 15-minute walk from Sant'Agata, up a steep hill. Visitors can explore the main tower for magnificent views and shop for local accessories to support the community.
Only visited for the tower with its amazing views. You need to be careful when you visit as opening times are restricted. Views on a good day are wonderful. There are a lot of steps up to the top but these are modern steps, not like going up an ancient campanile with uneven and well-worn steps. Not at all. These steps are not worn, and are well built.

Visited today (13th July 2024) and had a fab time. Opening times are 10 - 12 in the morning, and 5-7 in the afternoon. To access the viewing platform it is a proper faff, however it is possible. You need to walk right when you reach the top of the path/driveway, then left at the end of the buildings and you will see a set of double yellow doors atop some stairs ( two sets). It may be locked, however we waited around the door until eventually a nun ( who was clearly watching the cameras) to open the door. Not a word of English was spoken so may need good hand gestures, and a donation of some sort was required before she relinquished the key to the tower!
Alex C — Google review
Visited as part of a guided tour on a land train. The monastery was part of the tour, allowing you access to the surrounding gardens to view the amazing views overlooking the bay. Then, a short (70 steps) up onto the monastery roof to a viewing platform to enjoy a 360° view of the surrounding landscape.

Quite unknown but very unique place. Here you can go to the main tower, where you can have a magnificent view over both golf's and Capri island... You can also shop some typical accessories helping the local community.

Amazing view on the Peninsula of Sorrento, Capri and Salerno area. The sign indicating belvedere on the terrace of the monastery is very consumed so it's easy to miss it. There are only stairs to go up so it's not good for disabled and strollers.

We visited, as part of a train trip. The views from the top of the Monastero, were absolutely stunning. Not suitable for those with decreased mobility.

Brilliant view from the top of the Belvedere, almost 360 degrees panorama. Even on a cloudy day the view was good. It’s about 15 minutes walk from Sant’Agata, up a fairly steep hill. The opening times vary depending on the time of year. Morning is 1000-1200 year round, afternoon is 1700-1900 in the summer months and 1500-1700 in the winter (1 Oct to 31 Mar).

This 8-hour bus tour from Sorrento takes you through picturesque villages like Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello, offering breathtaking landscapes along one of the most scenic drives. Customers have praised the excellent customer service of Amalfi Coast Dream for their seamless booking process, timely communication via WhatsApp, and easy cancellation policy.
My husband and I had the most magical day on the Amalfi Coast thanks to the incredible boat tour we took from Sorrento! From the moment we set sail, we knew it was going to be a special experience. Our captain and our first mate, Giuseppe, were not only knowledgeable and professional but also incredibly warm and welcoming, making the entire day feel effortless and enjoyable. The views were absolutely breathtaking – crystal-clear waters, stunning cliffs, and charming coastal villages. Giuseppe took us to the best swimming spots, where we got to dive into the clearest water we've ever seen. The staff was incredibly attentive, always ensuring we had everything we needed, and helped us find a fantastic lunch spot with views that made it even more memorable. This boat day was truly the highlight of our honeymoon. We couldn’t have asked for a better way to experience the Amalfi Coast. If you're thinking about booking a boat tour, don’t hesitate! 10/10, we’d recommend it to anyone looking to make unforgettable memories.

We had the greatest day with our skipper Raffaele. We did the full day private boat rental. We started in Sorrento and then went to Amalfi, Positano, and ended with the best hidden gem lunch in Nerano. By far the best way to see these places is by boat. Raffaele was so knowledgeable in explaining all the sights. Jumping into the Tyrennhian sea and swimming with fish was one of the most memorable parts of our whole trip. We highly recommend!

Incredible is the biggest understatement. We had the best day with Jett today, from the moment we got on the boat until we got off, every part was memorable. He was so kind and knowledgable, he truly gave us the highlight of our trip. Took us to the most beautiful locations, booked a lunch for us, took us to the green grotto and of course, Capri and Positano. I had initially booked with another company and switched to Amalfi coast dream and I am SO happy I did. Top 5 most memorable days we have had! Thank you Jett, we will never forget this day!

Our captain Jett was amazing!! Such great vibes and let us have free reign with our private experience with Amalfi Dreams. He knew all the spots and made sure we saw everything the coast had to offer and was also super helpful! If you are hesitant about booking an excursion abroad, book with Amalfi Dreams. They talked to me on the phone before I booked and made me feel comfortable that I was getting everything I wanted and the process was seamless! I will definitely book again! Thank you!!

Perfect experience on private boat tour on Amalfi Coast. Whole process went very smoothly and our captain Juani was driving extremely careful, even in bit wavy cobditions, making our day on the water joyful and and relaxing. Juani is also very open to share about the Best places to visit and knows a lot of local insights. Strongly recommend for Amalfi Coast boat rental/tour !

Jett was an amazing captain. He ensured we got the most of our day and curated to exactly what we wanted. He was very knowledgeable of the area and easy going. I would highly recommend getting a tour with him! Plus who doesn’t want a tour guide with a nice Australian accent!

This is a fantastic company. We had the pleasure of Alberto. Such a lovely man. He could not have crammed anymore into our day. We saw Positano & grotta dello smeraldo, which is less busy than blue grotto and just as good. We stopped to do some snorkelling and visited capri. Took a taxi to the chair lift and went up the lift (worth every second) the view was amazing. Kids even loved the super fast crossing from Capri back to Sorrento. He made us feel very welcome. What an amazing guy and a great company.

Lubrense Boats offers a memorable experience to explore the beautiful island of Capri and Anacapri. The company's professional team ensures a relaxed and safe journey with their high-quality and modern equipment. Guests have enjoyed informative, fun, and comfortable boat trips with Italian hosts Fabrizio, Antonio, Rafael, and Antonino.
A definite highlight of our honeymoon, especially because our guides saved our trip from disaster! More on that in a minute. The tour was amazing and the guides are very knowledgeable. I loved being part of a small group (about 10) and we all got to know each other quickly. We got to see all the Capri highlights, including the blue grotto. The grotto fills up very quickly, so our guides rushed to be the first boat that arrived. We were literally racing other boats across the gulf. With expert timing and some skillful navigation, we made it. It was awesome to be some of the first people allowed in for the day. After the blue grotto, we toured around Capri seeing the most famous sights from the sea. The landmarks were beautiful, but our captain's sailing skills were arguably even more impressive--he was able to get us mere feet away from the cliffs, even in chop, holding the boat perfectly still. Then we got to the port of Capri, where we would have a few hours to explore the island on our own. This is when the aforementioned potential disaster struck--as we stepped off the boat, my husband realized he didn't have his wallet. In a few moments of panic we realized he must have left it at the blue grotto--completely across the island. I asked Sharon and our captain if they knew someone we could call, and mentally prepared myself to spend our entire time on the island trying to recover it. Instead, Sharon pulled us back on the boat and before I knew it we were racing back to the blue grotto, no questions asked. When we got there, we were last in a line of boats. The blue grotto staff ignored our radio calls, thinking we were just trying to get their attention to jump the line. We waited five tense minutes with no news. Luckily, our captain was personal friends with one of the staff, who he was able to reach on his personal cell phone. We watched, breathless, as they searched the small boat we had entered the blue grotto in. I swear the entire grotto erupted in cheers when the wallet was held up to the sky. Sharon and our captain were nearly as happy as we were! Then they whisked us back across the island to make sure we still had time to explore Capri. On the way, Sharon explained that on the way back to the blue grotto our captain had already begun contacting friends to figure out our next steps for getting money, identification, etc in case we weren't able to find the wallet. Clearly we were in good hands! I will always be grateful that they so professionally saved our honeymoon from this crisis, and were able to ensure we still got a few hours on Capri. We decompressed at the end of the tour by jumping into the chilly Mediterranean, and Sharon sent us off with some wonderful personalized recommendations. I can't imagine a tour better than this. Professional, experienced crew who knew exactly what to do in a worst case scenario, who also felt like friends by the end of the day and fostered a great atmosphere. A small group on a roomy, comfortable boat. Plenty of time to enjoy everything Capri has to offer. What else do you want from a tour?

Capri Boat Tour From Sorrento We had an incredible boat tour to Capri, and it was one of my favorite days of our trip. Our guide, Michele, was absolutely fantastic—kind, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the area. He made the experience both fun and informative, pointing out beautiful spots and sharing interesting facts along the way. The boat itself was very clean and comfortable, making the journey even more enjoyable . Cruising around the island was such a unique and beautiful way to see Capri. Especially being able to see the blue grotto, our guide made it a seamless experience.

We had a great day out with Captain Francesco! The ride out to Capri was a little rough, but the Captain made it fun, with excellent music & commentary, views were spectacular. The Island of Capri is beautiful! Make sure to do the chairlift in Anacapri!

We cannot recommend this enough! We started the morning going to capri. We got there at a perfect time before all the other tourists showed up. We were able to enjoy the lift up to Ana Capri and enjoy the views without a lot of people. We also got to enjoy the shops. We got back to the boat for the most relaxing and beautiful day. Our guides were experts on the water. They guided us through fairly choppy waters and made it so you could barely even feel the chop. They took us to all the different grottos and made sure we had enough time to swim. To top off the entire trip they offered us a free shuttle ride back to our hotel. Best day ever. Thanks Lubrense Boats!

The Baia di Ieranto nature preserve boasts a stunning beach with crystal clear waters teeming with marine life. Visitors can purchase refreshments from vendors who arrive by boat, adding to the beach's welcoming ambiance. The path leading to the beach takes around 15 minutes to traverse, and it is recommended that visitors bring ample water for their journey as dehydration can be a concern.
An absolute gem. Stunning cove with little beach and crystal clear water. We went fairly early in the morning and it was totally empty. Nice hike to get there.
Denée B — Google review
This is an experience we will not forget. From nerano beach this takes well over an hour of intense hiking, each way. We are in shape, healthy and have a 9 year old son who was able to do this. But it was intense on the knees. Once you get there, the view and the jump from the pier was so much fun. Again it’s not difficult or dangerous terrain it’s just a lot of medium difficulty and goes on and on. Not to mention then you have to go back. The cafe/Bar at the top of Nerano serves some of the best food we had including their pasta nerano. We ate breakfast and then had lunch here after our hike. Overall it’s a great adventure and incredible views.
Dennis L — Google review
Amazing path. Not so difficult but make sure to bring good shoes and sunscreen protection. Better to get to Nerano with a scooter and park it near the entrance of the path.

Yael M — Google review
Amazing somewhat secret cove, with a roughly 20 foot diving board you can swim to. Beautiful clear water. About a 50 minute hike in. Bring lots and lots of water. It’s a precipitous climb back. On a hot day the first third on the return will test your mettle. We loved the bay. Definitely a highlight of our southern Italy sojourn.
Alan M — Google review
My favorite beach on point! This is a magical beach! The hike is not long, but has a very steep and tricky section - recommend good footwear and water. The beach is only accessible through this path or by paddling around (no motor boat access). It was quite crowded when we went, but worth it for the views and beautiful water.
Dimitri A — Google review
A short but steep hike to get to the beach, and the same short steep ascent to get back to the car. It was totally worth it. The journey down provides breathtaking views of the coast and you can even see the faraglioni of Capri in the distance. At the destination, we were rewarded with clear blue waters where we could see fish swimming around. There was no space left on the natural beach so we situated ourselves on a man-made platform which worked out even better because it is absolutely clean and without the torture of the sand and pebbles of the beach. In addition, we were close to the edge of the platform where one could jump straight into the sea. Not forbiddingly high, but high enough for a good dose of adrenaline on every jump. Clean, well maintained, and in the afternoon it’s also serviced by a boat-shop where they provided coffee, ice cream, can drinks and snacks. My advise: go early, the earlier the better. Parking spots are limited, and obviously you’ll have a better chance to get a spot on the beach.
Felicia L — Google review
This beach is amazing, the water is really clear and filled with fishes, highly suggested. During the day some guys arrived with a small boat selling water and ice cream, literally like a bar. The path to reach the beach is 15 minutes long. Remember to bring water, really, we thought we had enough but we were wrong, and we discovered how hard it was the way back without water after a day under the sun.

Not very easy to reach due to hard road, but finally, stunning view and cold water. (10 to 15 € entry per person, comprensive of one sunbed and umbrella) showers, bar and quick restaurant inside.

Narrow steep road leads to the car park. The view of Capri is beautiful. Parking is free, but sun loungers with umbrellas cost €30 per person., although the narrow beach was closed because of the risk of accidents. The swell is dangerous even at low wind speeds. We were very disappointed because it was a difficult journey and we could not swim in the sea.
Heinz S — Google review
Not at all worth it! We didn't stay. They tried to charge us 30€ per person so 60€ for this literally not even that pretty "beach" that was mostly in the shadow. You couldn't enter without payment. Oh, and with 60€ you got the third row sun beds, no no, very odd place. Also, the road to the beach is super steep and narrow two way street which doesn't actually fit two cars next to each other. I know it's Italy but this was something else. Please save yourself some headaches and don't go.
Ella W — Google review
Rip Off! Stay away. We drove here to enjoy one of our first beach days around Sorrento but were shocked. We were asked for 30€ each for a sunbed in an empty Area, with rocky water. Unbelievable, you do not even need to pay 60€ in total for the touristic and popular beaches in Amalfi or Positiano. So many better beaches around there!!! Stay away, also very unpolite personnel, which laughs in your face when you say it is too expensive for what it is.
Kevin-David L — Google review
Disgusting and Unbelievable!! Shame to the council that allow the only access to the road to be managed privately even if by law is ILLEGAL to restrict access to the beach!!! we drove there for half an hour following the google map directions and we found a closed gate and no one on the gate. Impossible to reach the beach by car and by feet. Don't waste your time they should just remove from the map if is impossible to access it.

We had an amazing Kayaking experience. Our guide Luca made the tour entertaining and fun, he showed us some stunning caves and beaches where we could snorkel and see lots of fishes, while also telling us great stories about the legends and myths of the surrounding islands and some gossip about which celebrities visited the port ;) Even though it was my first time kayaking I felt safe and could enjoy it to the fullest. The Kayak was transparent so we could watch the fishes if we looked through it. It was definitely one of the highlights of our Italy trip and we would warmly recommend it to anyone! Luca even collected some mussels which he gave us at the end so that I can add it to my collection :)

My husband and I had the best day with Luca kayaking in Nerano. For those of you are looking for something more active, this adventure is a great choice. It was a perfect mix of paddling, exploring, swimming and even cliff jumping! Luca was very personable, kind, knowledgeable and fun to be around! We even got to hang out with his dad for the day, which was such a treat. 10/10 recommend!

We booked directly on their website and were lucky enough to be the first trip of their year. We went with Chasing Syrens mostly due to their ability to cater to our 6 and 3 year old kids. Luca was an awesome guide, very understanding of our pace with kids, and flexible. He catered the tour and information to our kids and kept them entertained and engaged. The cherry on top was the super stable, wide, and transparent kayaks that really made this unforgettable! Of our many travels and activities with kids, this was honestly one of our favorites. Cannot recommend Chasing Syrens enough!

Rented 2 kayaks for 3 hours for our own tour (2 adults and 2 kids). We pre-booked it and on the day the weather was not ideal. Luca (owner) was very accommodating in letting us go a couple of days later when the sea was calmer. Luca and his wife were lovely, very friendly and helpful, and we had a great time. The location is awesome... so scenic and pretty. Happily recommend and would love to do it again 🙂

A great experience in Nerano. We had so much fun kayaking and swimming. Luca was an amazing guide with a passion for the outdoors and a zest for life. He shared great stories and took us to some truly beautiful locations. If you find yourself near Marina del Cantone you must give this experience a try.
Clark K — Google review
Well, our expectations were high but they were far exceeded! Luca (guide) is so entertaining, knowledgeable and accommodating; we booked the 90 minute tour but spent closer to 2 hours kayaking around the coast, into caves and a to a small beach, all whilst Luca talked to us about the history of surrounding islands and pointed out unique sea life. The kayaks are transparent which made it all the more interesting! The 6 of us that were doing the activity (3 couples who had never met before) ended up being on the same bus to Nerano and Luca allowed us to take as long as we liked having a meal together before we started the activity, even though it was later than planned. He allowed us to go at our own pace and it was just a fantastic experience. I’d recommend this experience to absolutely anyone! Even if you’re not the fittest, it doesn’t matter because you can take it slow and the kayaks are double ones so your partner can do all the rowing for you! Thank you so much to Luca and his lovely wife (who sells the cutest magnets, decorations and artwork made out of painted stones) - we had an unforgettable experience!

Cala di Mitigliano is a serene and isolated cove that boasts a petite, pebbly beach and crystal-clear turquoise water. The scenery is awe-inspiring, with dramatic views overlooking the ocean. However, visitors may find it challenging to locate the beach as there are signs indicating an entrance fee. We recommend arriving by car since walking uphill can be arduous, especially for those wearing heels.
Great beach with a cool scenery of rocks and cliffs. Do not stop and park at the gate, keep driving down the hill. At the very bottom is where the path begins and motorcycles park. You can park you car as far up from there as needed depending on how full it is. There is no sand or flat sections of beach but there are lounge chairs so do not be deterred by this. More adventurous less slow beach spot but worth the journey. The stairs down from the parking are not that bad, avoid handrail use to avoid the ants.

The area Is pretty but unfortunately there's a lot of rubbish left around. The path to it from Mitigliano has been left unkept. It can be dangerous with overgrown vegetation, exposed cliffs and very few places to hold on to. Google map shows a road to it which is now closed by a gate with lock.
Stefania — Google review
Beautiful beach but very rocky. It was €5 to enter the place with a car and €2 on foot. It was a very narrow and bumpy ride down the hill for quite some time so not an easy access one would say. There’s a cave on the side of the beach so that’s a bonus in scenery. You can see capri island during the day.
Jenn L — Google review
Wild, scenic but hardly accessible beach. Not much place to lie down. Waves can be pretty big and kind of dangerous because they can smash you to the rocks when getting out of the water. So not a typical family beach, I recommend it for the adventurous travellers.
Gábor H — Google review
I am not too sure how to get down to the beach by land since the property owner shut the gate (four years ago I hear). Jumping the gate would feel like trespassing… in which case it’s now only accessible to boats.
Charles D — Google review
Amazing place! Beautiful view and great waters. It's not much of a beach, more rocks on rocks. If you have struggle walking i wouldn't come here since you need to walk on rocks. Hard to lay down. But if youre adventurous and want a peace of nature and a beautiful lagoon. Definitely recommend!
Nathalie B — Google review
We got a little confused to find the way to the beach. In my picture, you can see the price to access the beach. I highly recommend you come down with whatever vehicle you have, the walk up was very strenuous for me and my heels. The beach is rocky and narrow, hence not a lot of space for lying down without a sunbed. The local man who rent these out were very friendly and helpful. Rental per item costs 5eur (sunbed or umbrella). On the side, there is a rock where you can jump into the water and a rope nearby to climb up for another jump. Overall, it was a very nice experience: water is clear and the place is secluded so not overcrowded.

What an amazing location for a swim overlooking the Capri island. A little bit difficult to find and to reach, as the road to go down the hill is a bit rocky but it is so worth it! If you are staying in nerby towns like Massa Lubrense definitely try to go to this location and have a great swim in this beautiful azure water

(Translated by Google) With friends we organized an excursion to Punta Campanella where you have the opportunity to see two gulfs, the Gulf of Naples and Salerno... for dinner we stopped here, a glimpse of paradise, a farm that allowed us to taste products at kilometer 0. All products by Giovanni the owner, a very kind and welcoming person. Once we arrived we freshened up and as an opening we had bruschetta with Molenzane tomatoes and peppers then fiordilatte with tomatoes courgettes aubergines and pumpkin in oil taralli with dried tomatoes and cured meats all produced by them red wine and to conclude the dessert with fennel liqueur limoncello and myrtle everything was delicious and very tasty, we immediately understood that we liked the oil, we spread half the bottle on the bread. At 8.38pm you have the chance to see a spectacular sunset overlooking Capri.

(Translated by Google) Lovely place but the credit goes entirely to nature, the restaurant leaves something to be desired! They don't cook first courses and no children's menu, most of the lunch consists of bruschetta with cherry tomatoes or at most pickles! The sweets and bitters are good.

(Translated by Google) The location is spectacular, a breathtaking view... undoubtedly the most beautiful that the Sorrento peninsula offers. Giovanni, Ilaria Francesca and Chiara made us feel at home. The food is delicious, km or rather metro 0. It's true, they don't have first courses on the menu, but who cares, the starters are so rich that even the most demanding ones will feel full. Then, for those who want to exaggerate, there is always the addition of mixed meat. Not to mention the economic aspect, well below what should be spent. Bravissimi, ci vedetelo presto 🔜

The predominantly limestone promontory is located between the Sorrento coast and the Amalfi coast. This is a particularly suitable area for hiking activities considering the characteristics of the site. (Translated by Google) Stunning location, as if floating on water. At sunset for an aperitif it is a suggestive experience, it seems like you are almost swimming in Capri. Car management is difficult because you have to go down to a certain point - there is no parking. For those who are not practical like me, I recommend going with a good driver. After the car there is a nice downhill stretch to do. Before arriving at the farmhouse - there are little animals to visit - a bit of a sad scene though for those with children... As for the food however, they offer a sort of fixed menu with courses such as: bruschetta, parmigiana with potatoes , taralli with dried tomatoes, sliced meat (with an intense vinegar flavour). All with house wine. Although I personally didn't find the food exciting, it is definitely a location worth visiting. Only flaw: no poss, only cash. Among other things, there were some of us for whom no tax invoice was issued.

Conveniant and easy rental service, excelent boat - made a pleasant day trip to nearby locations Capri, Galli islands and Positano
Christoph K — Google review
Scam! Do not book here! If you take the boat to Capri or Positano they will contrive a police story and demand an additional 150 Euros for a pretended incorrect parking of the boat. The owner of the store is the epitome of an unfriendly and corrupt Italian that you do not want to meet. Please stay away from this provider

I've never had such a bad experience on a beach as on this one. Rude staff, long waiting, awful service. It just ruined my vacation.

The worst service I ever tried was in this lido. Staff and owner are very rude with the clients. Seems they don’t care if they have clients or no. Non recommended

Chiesa di San Costanzo is a gem! It’s a small hike, less than 10 minutes, but totally worth it. Perfect for catching a beautiful sunset, and you can even see Capri in the distance. A peaceful spot with stunning views away from tourists

unbelievable view! best spot for pictures & videos! best day for us here in south Italy thanks to this walk up the summit and its very rewarding view. :)

Spectacular view. A very narrow road all the way up. A few 100 meters on stairs from the road to the Church. A few parking spots on the side of the road 200 meters further along the way than the stairs to the church.

A little structure on top of a very steep mountain that overlooks Sorrento, Naples, and the Island of Capri. You can also go hike and get amazing views of the bay. Well worth the drive and 20 mins hike.
