I went to Porsche Museum back in August (sorry for the late review 😅) and I have to say; it’s a car enthusiasts dream and as one myself: I genuinely enjoyed it especially the history of how Porsche became one of the most iconic cars of Germany. I couldn’t contain my excitement seeing all 911s and other models evolving over the years. However it can be quite busy during the midday and the queues can vary, but I highly recommend you should book tickets ahead of time.
HaloDaNoob — Google review
We recently had the chance to visit the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart, and it was an incredible experience. The moment you walk in, you're surrounded by a stunning display of design, speed, and innovation that reflects the true **triumph of German engineering**. From the earliest Porsche models to cutting-edge concept cars, every exhibit showcases precision, craftsmanship, and a relentless pursuit of performance. The museum's architecture itself is strikingly modern, mirroring the brand’s forward-thinking spirit. We were especially impressed by the motorsport section, which highlights Porsche’s dominance on the track and the technological breakthroughs behind it. Whether you're a lifelong car fan or just curious, the museum offers a deep appreciation for what makes Porsche — and German engineering as a whole — world-renowned. We left inspired and uplifted especially my husband who is cars enthusiast! Definitely must see!
Natasha K — Google review
Visiting this place is a must if you appreciate automobiles and the culture surrounding them. Although it is located a bit outside the city's heart, the experience is worth the travel. Be prepared for a potentially bustling atmosphere, as many people share your interest. To avoid queues and ensure entry, consider purchasing your tickets ahead of your visit. Enjoy the impressive assortment of Porsches on display for you to admire.
Jey A — Google review
This is a very nice museum. Lots of Porsche history is shown, special versions and good explanations via a mobile device with headset. I must admit that i only used it at the beginning, because some explanations are giving allot of info.you can also walk by and read the text.
René V — Google review
Great experience, from arrival in a motorhome and being given directions to park, then a nice walk through the site. Easy access to the entrance, with polite staff and audio equipment for translation. Plenty of visitors, but not crowded. A gentle walk around the displays, plenty of time to view, read or listen to the audio. Many vehicles on show. We hadn't pre-booked and arrived after lunchtime. Good value for money, definitely worth visiting.
E H — Google review
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Porsche Museum is an absolute dream for car lovers! The exhibits are stunning, showcasing the brand’s history, design, and engineering in an engaging way. I could spend hours admiring the cars and displays. The only downside was the gift shop—it was insanely busy, with a line stretching out the front door. Still, the overall experience was incredible, and I’d do it again a million times over.
Roy M — Google review
Me and my partner visited the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart and absolutely loved it. The building itself is stunning, and the exhibits inside are just as impressive. We were blown away by the range of cars—from classic models to legendary race cars. The layout made it easy to explore, and the audio guide added great background without being overwhelming. We spent a couple of hours there but could’ve stayed longer. The staff were super friendly. If you’re even slightly into cars, this place is a must-see!

Kürbisausstellung Ludwigsburg is a seasonal event held at the castle grounds, featuring flowerbeds and various attractions. The festival includes sand sculptures and a renowned pumpkin show, making it an exciting experience for visitors. Additionally, the area offers a variety of dining options such as Lemongrass Asiatische Spezialitaten, Kullman's Ludwigsburg, and Brauerei zum Rossknecht.
Great place to spend the day! Lots of pumpkins from all over the world, great food based on pumpkin, shops, nice atmosphere. The service is also great despite the crowds, plenty of seating at the tables outside for everyone. There is a theme every year, 2025 is Kino (Cinema).
Mircea — Google review
While visiting the actual pumpkin exhibit is free, we paid for a ticket for the park grounds. It was very cute and family friendly though understandably full on the weekend. We would definitely have visited early in the year if possible as it was rather cold and windy and there is no cover. The food options were very nice and overall the event was sweet. (definitely could have used better mapping for the event and the park in general as it was a bit confusing to walk around)
Moriah — Google review
Second year in the row that we attended the Ausstellung, and amazed by the amount of pumpkins and the giant statutes. The park where it is held is amazing as well with different kids venues. Definitely suggest to visit if you're near Stuttgart!!! Great times!
Jakob H — Google review
The Pumpkin Festival was SUPER COOL! Beautiful background with the palace, cute pumpkin store, loved the food options. If you have little kids (we don’t but we walked through), the kids play area was really neat (and they had goats to pet!).
Chi C — Google review
I recommend to come early, there was a lot of people. But if you skip the main road in the garden and take the hidden ways you’ll get much faster to your destination. The facility is big and there are a lot of things to see. The price was reasonable
Natasha — Google review
I love going to the annual Pumpkin Festival 🎃 at Ludwigsburg, it's always such a visual delight! The creativity with the pumpkin displays is seriously next level, and I find myself snapping photos constantly. 😄 It's a super entertaining spot, particularly if you have kids; there are so many fun activities to keep them busy. The atmosphere is always buzzing, with crowds enjoying the food stalls and different events. 🎉 It's the perfect autumn day out, and I highly recommend it if you're looking for something fun to do! 🤩
Gyan.R J — Google review
It was ok for children. Interesting part was the biggest pumpkin was more than 800kg. You can find different taste of pumpkin seeds, old, etc. I have to tell that there were less pumpkin art than my expectation. It should be visited once in a life time

Shopping mall
MARSTALL Ludwigsburg is a modern, two-level shopping complex housing 70 stores and eateries. It's conveniently located near the train station, Marstall, and the palace, making it easily accessible on foot. The mall offers a variety of amenities such as grocery stores, electronics shops, and sports equipment outlets. Visitors can also enjoy a food court with diverse dining options and even massage chairs for relaxation. While the mall is spacious during weekdays, it tends to get crowded on weekends.
Good mall nearby. Have a lot of options
Akshu S — Google review
A good size shopping mall. During the week the mall is not crowded. But at weekends, there are too many people. What missing is a good, caffe with cakes and patisserie. There are 2 in the ground floor but they are on the way. It is like s pit stop not like for caffee enjoyers. What also interesting is, the toilet is 50cent. I find it ackward in a shopping mall in a modern city.
Aysegül F — Google review
One of the oldest multi purpose buildings in Ludwigsburg. It has restaurants, shopping, banks, gym, kindergarten school and residences. A convenient place to spend the day shopping.

The WilhelmGalerie shopping mall is conveniently located within a short walking distance of the Marktplatz town centre. It offers a variety of fashion and footwear stores, casual eateries, a supermarket, and more. The mall houses well-known shops like Muller and H+M, as well as smaller establishments. Additionally, there is an on-site parking facility available on the top floor and roof. Although the parking fees have recently increased slightly, they remain reasonably priced for a town centre location.
Great place for all your shopping needs in central Ludwigsburg!

Located in centre of Ludwigsburg . Great shopping for buying dresses and school materials
Krishna N — Google review
Busy shopping center. Every shop I visited, folks were happy to assist me. My German is not very good but it seemed that there was always somebody whose English was a bit better than my German. So a fun shopping experience. The dining here was informal, with many choices available. Not many ATMS and those that are here are specific to the bank that is located in the Galerie. In other words, you would need to be a customer to access. But, all shops and restaurants accept Amex, MC, and Visa. Just make sure to contact your CC company to verify that there are no glitches before you travel.

A typical downtown shopping center, meaning quite small and quite crowded. There are the most important shops for me, sport, food, electronics, pharmacy. And a food court! A good one, with local specialties.

Shopping complex within very short walking distance of the Marktplatz town centre. It has a number of different shops (Müller, H+M, and some smaller ones) as well as a supermarket (Rewe) and a bakery. On site parking is available on the top floor and roof and even though it's gone up in price recently it is still relatively reasonable for town centre.

The food here is pretty good, especially for the price. There where a lot of soybeans in my fried noodles for my taste but my girlfriend liked it so it depends on wether you like the soybeans in that capacity or not. But still it was really tasty. They have nice spicy sauce and delicious lychee juice. All in all pretty good.

Restaurant
Kullman's Diner Ludwigsburg is a German chain restaurant known for its American-style diner food. The restaurant offers a family-friendly atmosphere, lunch specials, and continuous hot meals. One of the most popular dishes on the menu is the Appetizer Sampler, featuring a variety of items served in an edible corn tortilla basket. Visitors have praised the great ambience reminiscent of the USA and highlighted the friendly and courteous service.
I used to came in this American restaurant when I’m in Ludwigsburg. Always the right choice. Premises: I do really like steak and burgers, so that, it’s the right place. Steak cooked properly, great meat always available. Burgers are the best in Ludwigsburg (personal opinion). Last time I’ve been here, I went for the brownie dessert: OMG astonishing!
Ivan B — Google review
It was really cool! Food came very quickly it's impressive even tho restaurant was full They have very nice fries and they offer two full bottles of Mayo and Ketchup 🥹. They have home made iced tea I got Maracuja and it was delicious!! Burgers were also very good. I recommend it🥰 It was 41€ for two people. Very fair honestly
Asma J — Google review
As an american, i was disappointed. The service was far to be desired, as I’ve worked in restaurants in the US as well as in Germany. The wings that were supposedly buffalo had not a hint of buffalo flavor, the ranch didn’t taste like anything and the burgers were just so bad, after two bites i couldn’t eat it anymore. The atmosphere was nice but the food was overpriced for the quality. So sad, because i was really looking forward to American food in Germany.
Denise G — Google review
It has been our regular place for a while now. Me and my husband visit here often. We really like the food, especially the sweet potato fry and the Pulled pork burger. Still we keep exploring different options. The portion sizes were pretty decent. I find their cocktails not that good though. Service could be better. They seem a bit reluctant and casual in serving the customers which can be a down side eventually.
Piuli C — Google review
Food variations are great. Portion sizes are for small men or regular women, luckily upgradings are possible! Beef burger was unfortunately well done. Maybe it can be ordered differently? I would give it a second try.
Marco D — Google review
Just an OK diner. The wings were ok,nothing special, just deep fried and not seasoned, nachos were actually the kind you buy in the snack section of the supermarket. Ranch dressing was not ranch, it was a dressed up salad dressing that Germans put on side salads. Schnitzel was cooked perfect, I think this would be a safe bet if you order food here. Wait staff was ok. This is not a place I would go back to eat at again. We only came here because we wanted wings, only American diner I have been to in Stuttgart and definitely won't return. Anyway, why go to an America diner in Germany with high expectations if you are an American.
La C — Google review
I’m totally disappointed about their attention, I felt full disrespect from the waitress, she twisted her eyes to us when we mispronounced sth. I felt unsafe. The Food was still good but I can’t give u a good feedback when we received this kind of manner.
Laura B — Google review
Yesterday after Spa we decided to have lunch there, it was delicious. We ordered Philly cheese with wedge potatoes on a brioche bun, it was fabulous. The meat was super tender and juicy, the potatoes crispy, veggies very made perfectly. And also bbq spare ribs that come with french fries and coleslaw on the side. The ribs were amazingly tender and were falling of the bone. I’m not a fan of pork in general but these ribs were so yummy and didn’t had this strong pork taste to them which I loved. The coleslaw was delicious and the fries nice and crunchy. The sauce that it came with was to die for. I could eat with a spoon. They also give you there own ketchup and mayonnaise. I tried the ketchup it’s not sour but nice and mild and has a light sweet taste to it. My boyfriend had there dark beer, reminded is of Genese beer 🤤 and I had Miranda, taste of my childhood. We would totally recommend this restaurant. The stuff was very friendly. We will definitely come back again.

Ygrec in Ludwigsburg is a nice Greek place. Excellent food, big collection of wine and nice people. Vegetarian's also can enjoy various options between Pasta or Greek style pasta or veggies or feta (which I really liked). They have house likour! You won't be disappointed!

It’s a nice place in summer as well as in winter! The atmosphere is great and feels nice & family run. Tho service was sloppy and simply not professional. The daily menu wasn’t offered or explained, just upon request. Wine wasn’t served properly (pls don’t put that bottle on my glas and please remove the plastic properly before serving!) the break baskets and glasses were stained, didn’t really feel very routined everything, they might have had a bad day but well.. Fish might be great tho the steak was of rather simple quality, vegetarian dishes were uninspired. My criticism is just as this place is a proper restaurant with a decent pricing for what I personally would expect a higher level of service and quality.
Julius W — Google review
Food is good, but service is horrible. Waiters are just waiting for their shift to end, if they are lazy, you can wait 20-30 minutes till anyone notices you are there. And they are only open for 3 hours for lunch. How is that even possible? The food is good, but not worth this service and attitude.

The place is huge and beautifully maintained, with stunning trees, birds, flamingos, and even storks wandering around. There were also impressive sand sculptures scattered throughout, which made the whole walk even more interesting. For families, this place is a dream. So many playgrounds and kid-friendly attractions — it's basically heaven for children. The fairytale walk through the garden was magical and so thoughtfully done. It takes about 2 to 3 hours to explore everything at a relaxed pace. There are clean toilets, a restaurant, and plenty of space to sit and take it all in. Highly recommend if you're in the area. We’ll definitely be back!

These gardens form a big part of the Residenzschloss estate and make a delightful walk. There is something for everyone, with areas set aside for young children to enjoy and their siblings and parents to relax. It's not cheap, but we had a great afternoon.

Beautiful grounds and the pumpkin festival was stunning! So many fun exhibits to check out. You can easily spend the whole day here. I highly recommend buying your tickets online, we did and were able to skip the two long lines when we arrived. The grounds are so big it doesn’t feel crowded even on a full day.

A beautiful palace with a wonderful atmosphere! 🎃 We visited during the annual pumpkin exhibition, and it was both fascinating and educational. The grounds are full of food courts where you can try all kinds of creative pumpkin dishes — we especially loved the candied pumpkin seeds! The only downside is that the entrance and food prices are a bit on the expensive side, but overall it’s definitely worth a visit🧡

Welcoming staff and an amazing place specially to take visitors. The activities are very nice and organized, we were able to see a sand art exhibition.

A must see if you are in town. Between the castle and the garden you can spend the whole day. The museum is a time machine. Do visit!

A stunning place that feels like stepping into another era. The architecture, the gardens, and the sheer scale of it all are breathtaking. Everything is beautifully preserved and full of quiet elegance. It’s one of those places where history doesn’t just sit behind glass — it surrounds you. Truly worth the visit.

From table tennis and slacklining to a large climbing playground, there's something for everyone. The park also offers ample space for sunbathing, picnicking, and relaxation with its prime location opposite the Blooming Baroque.
We left Marstall mall to take a stroll and discover the lovely area around it . We walked all the way to the ferris wheel , it was fun and there was an offer of prices as a combo of ride ticket and admission ticket to other attractions nearby. Overall the park is lovely and well kept and the whole area is full of nice shops, cafes and restaurants.

(Translated by Google) Wonderful, the lady at reception was very friendly and very helpful. Another lady gave us a short tour and just like that. Children don't bother us here at all, even if they get louder, not even a dirty look, which is very rare these days. The "LUFFT" exhibition was really very successful, not too much and not too little, all four children of different ages (5-11) were enthusiastic and happily occupied for an hour. It was also very interesting for us adults. The Ludwigsburg Museum is always worth a visit.

Pizza restaurant
Star Pizza Ludwigsburg offers a decent selection of food, including pizza, Chinese dishes, and burgers. While the quality is not exceptional, it is acceptable for casual dining. Some customers find the takeout option more affordable than dining in. The menu includes good pizza and chicken wings. Despite mixed reviews, those living nearby may find it convenient to visit regularly. The restaurant also seems accommodating in addressing customer concerns and offering solutions when needed.

I live like right next door so I can't say anything about the delivery, as I always pick it up myself. The quality is okay. I mean, it's pizza. It's no high cuisine, but it's acceptable. The chinese food I ordered once was alright, a bit heavy on the sauce though. The burgers are about McDonalds level, but less expensive. If you live nearby, it's good enough to go regularly. I definitely don't think it deserves all these 1 star reviews, but I've never had to get delivery so perhaps I'm not one to judge.

German restaurant
Nestled in the charming town of Ludwigsburg, Württemberger Hof offers a delightful dining experience that beautifully blends tradition with modern flair. This stylish Swabian restaurant boasts high ceilings and an elegant terrace, making it a perfect spot for enjoying exquisite wild game dishes sourced from their own hunts. Guests can indulge in a variety of German and European cuisine, all crafted to elevate your culinary journey. While the prices may lean towards the higher side, generous portions ensure you leave satisfied.
We organised a family event for around 15 people here, and a baby. We got a private room and a big table for our party. The dishes were excellent (German/Swabian cuisine) and the portions were quite big (the restaurant packed leftovers for a few guests; I personally ate everything and loved both the quality and quantity of the food). We had a salad, a soup, a main dish among 3 choices, and a dessert. We will most definetely come back to eat there. The service was fantastic, the waiters were very organised. We had a meeting with the manager a month before our event to define the menu (we even got to personalise some dishes) and the seating plan. We gave the staff individual named gifts for the guests and the staff placed them on the table according to a seating plan that we provided. The manager spontaneously suggested we translate the menus in our mothertongue for the guests. The whole staff paid great attention to detail before and during our event and we couldn't be more thankful. I also wanted to point out that this is an ideal location to host events with a baby: the staff brought toys for a baby guest and being in a closed room allowed the parents to have piece of mind when the baby was roaming around. Every single detail worked out perfectly and we are very happy that we chose Württemberger Hof for our event.

With nearly 120 shops, it offers a wide range of shopping options and dining experiences. The mall is easily accessible by car via highways A81 and B27. Monrepos Lakeside Palace, a baroque mansion and gardens located alongside the serene Monrepos See, offers visitors a tranquil escape from urban life. The neoclassical palace, built in the 1750s, exudes an elegant charm and provides opportunities for leisurely walks, lakeside meals, and serene boat trips. The picturesque grounds feature walking trails, diverse plant species, and a boating lake.

Seechloss Monrepos is a hunting lodge and summer residence located on the northern edge of Ludwigsburg, set beside a tranquil lake within a large English-style landscape park. It was built for the Dukes of Württemberg in the Neo-Classical style in 1764.

I recently spent a few hours at Monrepos Castle, and it was such a refreshing escape from the city. The moment I entered the park, I was greeted by vast green lawns, towering trees, and the serene calm of nature. It felt like a perfect place to just slow down and breathe. Walking along the paths, I noticed how quiet and peaceful everything was. Birds were chirping softly, and the gentle rustle of leaves made it feel like time had slowed. There are so many spots that are ideal for a picnic or just sitting on a bench with a book, enjoying the calm surroundings. The castle itself adds a subtle charm, but honestly, it’s the natural beauty that steals the show. Spending time here made me realize how refreshing it can be to just disconnect, enjoy a little solitude, and be surrounded by greenery. Truly, a hidden gem for anyone who loves peaceful walks and nature.

Monrepos is a lakeside castle in Ludwigsburg, Germany. Although quite distant and almost separated from the Favourite Palace and Ludwigsburg Palace, it is connected to the rest of the park via pedestrian paths. The neoclassical interiors are beautifully preserved, and the symmetry of the architecture is stunning. While the palace itself is not always open, the exterior alone is worth the visit, especially on a sunny day when its yellow façade glows beautifully.

The Emichsburg, constructed between 1798 and 1802 based on Nikolaus Friedrich von Thouret's designs, stands in the east garden of Ludwigsburg Palace, now known as Blooming Baroque. Built atop an old quarry using a medieval architectural style, this structure is regarded as the principal attraction within the English garden section. The Emichsburg was built between 1798 and 1802 according to plans by Nikolaus Friedrich von Thouret in the east garden of Ludwigsburg Palace , today's Blooming Baroque, in a medieval style over a former quarry. It is considered the main work in the English garden area and was built according to the ideas of Duke Friedrich II of Württemberg when this garden area was redesigned. It is named after Emicho , the brother of Count Ludwig I , who was mentioned in a document in the 12th century. Today the Emichsburg is used as a Rapunzel tower in the fairy tale garden of the castle park.

The Strafvollzugsmuseum Ludwigsburg, also known as the Prison Museum, offers a unique experience by shedding light on historical prison life. (Translated by Google) A truly special museum visit. I was completely alone in the exhibition, which gave the rooms a special atmosphere. The introduction and farewell was given personally by the museum director. The exhibition has been lovingly put together and covers a long period of time. There are prisoner lists that go back to 1779 (who was in prison, why and for how long) and the weekly menu from the Hohenasperg JVA. There is a lot of interesting text information about everyday life in prison and impressive displays. The highlights for me were the guillotines and the finds from the RAF cells. I looked at the exhibition in detail and was in the exhibition, which is spread over two floors, for about 1 1/2 hours. One room was currently being renovated. Admission is free, but of course you should make a donation after your visit :-) PS: I was at the museum on a weekday and, just to be on the safe side, I "registered" the day before. (Original) Ein wirklicher besonderer Museumsbesuch.

(Translated by Google) We had a worthwhile visit to the Prison Museum yesterday. We were greeted and bid farewell by the director himself, who clearly enjoys and is fascinated by his work and the museum. We had wonderful and informative conversations, learned a lot, were amazed, laughed, took lots of photos, and will definitely be back. The special exhibition was also impressive and touching. There's no admission charge, but donations are welcome and are readily made when you hear all the other ideas the director has. Simply a fantastic afternoon!

(Translated by Google) Cheers to the Ludwigsburg Prison Museum - finally a place where punishment not only hurts, but also educates! Anyone who thinks museums are boring has never been locked up voluntarily. The exhibition is top – informative, well done, with real cells, real stories and real thought. And the best thing: you leave the museum and suddenly realize how much of what you see inside is actually still happening outside. Just with a laptop, a schedule and pressure to perform. More punishment! And more carrots! But please distribute fairly. Not just resocialization for some and the golden handshake for others. Conclusion: If you want to briefly step out of the neoliberal grind and think about freedom, order and the absurdities of our society, you have come to the right place. And don't worry: at the end you can go out again - without any ankle bracelets.

Intermezzo, the charming Italian eatery situated in Breuningerland Ludwigsburg, consistently delivers impeccable Spaghetti Parmigiano and delectable Pizza Fungi. While it's worth noting that the latter may occasionally possess a hole at its base, this can be attributed to the thin and authentic Italian dough which mirrors the originality of an Italian pizza. With a rating of 10/10, Intermezzo comes highly recommended for those seeking an exceptional dining experience.
Absolutely great restaurant. Great food. Great atmosphere. The old gentlemen waiters are very sweet and nice.

Spaghetti Parmigiano was perfect like always when I eat here although the Pizza Fungi had a hole at the bottom it’s understandable because the dough is thin like paper and that is how an original Italian Pizza should be so 10/10 would recommend + the Coffee is also worth trying

I would say one of the best beergardens in Ludwigsburg to chill in the summertime. Food is very tasty and service is good. Personally I m suprised / dissapointed because of a ridiculous situation. From 21:10 we wanted to order one last drink but nevertheless we tried to visualize that several times they did not react. 20 minutes later after catching one of the waitress they said they would close at 22:00 and there is no more probability to order even if it was their fail. Hmmmm.... more than 20 minutes for a small beer? I woild take 2 and even then its no timeconflict ;) I must unfortunately cancel 1 star because of that. Sry... I am sure you can do it better,

The Ludwigsburg Residential Palace, often referred to as the Versailles of Swabia, is a magnificent Baroque residence that encompasses children's, fashion, and ceramics museums within its opulent walls. Constructed in the early 18th century by Duke Eberhard Ludwig of Wurttemberg, this colossal architectural marvel spans over 452,000 square feet and houses 452 rooms.
Really nice palace, with fairy tail park for children. It’s so big place you need almost 3hours to go through all place. They offer small train for baby, also small boats go through small river. Children must love all activities there.
Denisa P — Google review
Personally, I think this palace is an average place to visit in Stuttgart unless you have the time and haven’t been to any large palaces in Europe, especially in Italy or France. However, it’s an ideal spot for photography because it’s not crowded with tourists. The English tour is only offered once a day, so check the official website for the date and time. The ticket is quite affordable, and the tour lasts about an hour. I opted for the “Duke” tour, which showcased around 10-15 rooms (although the palace has 452 rooms). To be honest, I’ve seen better palaces. So, I would recommend simply going to the garden and taking a leisurely walk in the pleasant weather. Many of the hallways were simply decorated with paintings, and most of the rooms were not particularly impressive. I didn’t even bother taking pictures. The church was interesting, but I couldn’t get inside during the tour. The history section was interesting, as it provided insight into the noble family that ruled over this region. From an art and architecture perspective, I would suggest taking pictures of the palace’s exterior would be enough.
Chin — Google review
Ludwigsburg Residential Palace is an absolute gem! The stunning Baroque architecture, beautifully preserved interiors, and expansive gardens make it a must-visit. The gardens, especially the Blühendes Barock, are breathtaking—perfect for a relaxing stroll. The ticket prices are reasonable, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Whether you're a history enthusiast or just looking for a picturesque day out, this palace delivers an unforgettable experience.

We went for the annual pumpkin festival and had an amazing time. The children enjoyed the views and the artistry and adventure were worth the cost. Great time.
Jessica B — Google review
I was here for the pumpkin festival and it was great. The palace gardens are big and you need a lot of time to stroll though them. They also have a fairytale forest, with lots of small houses retelling German fairytales, which is especially nice for kids.
Denny F — Google review
Be aware: 1) visit to the palace only with guide. Minimum 1h 2) tickets to the garden and the visit to the palace are separated. And honestly the garden is beautiful but not worth the 14 euros you pay to see the same thing you can see from a little bit far from the entrance of the garden!
Rodolfo S — Google review
This was a beautiful experience. There are ENGLISH speaking tours, despite what another said in a review. Just ask the front what time the English tour starts. It was quite confusing trying to find the front door for the inside tour. Google maps took me to a side parking lot, directly in front of the building, but the entramce only sold tickets for the garden tour at 28€ per person. The garden tickets are much more than the palace tour tickets. We thought we bought tickets for the tour of the palace and grounds, but the tickets were only for the palace gardens. After walking around for a while in the front of the building and trying to find the palace entrance, we ended up at an exit where a kind staff member offered us a stamp and gave directions. Our tour guide was enthusiastic and full of information. He could answer any question thrown at him! I loved our guide's charisma and humor. The garden is great for children with a fairy garden in the back. The groups for the interior tour were not too large, so you could always hear the guide. The rooms of the palace are spectacular and full of history. I ended up doing a tour in the native tongue since I was on a drive back to my home and did not have time to wait for the English tour. I used the translate app on my phone and the guide filled me and my partner in occasionally to ensure we were up to speed. Overall, this was a fantastic experience. Just be mindful of the parking and palace entrance if your goal is not to visit the gardens, although they are beautiful.
Vanessa F — Google review
One of the more magnificent castles I've visited in Europe! Though it's size is not enormous (rightfully so due to its history) it was wonderfully preserved and the guided tours are 100% worth the price and time. Our guides wrtr lovely and answered everyone's questions. We saw plenty of people taking their wedding photos on site, plenty of families and there were accessible bathrooms across the grounds. Truly worth the trip!!

Märchengarten im Blühenden Barock is a picturesque park featuring enchanting buildings inspired by fairy tales, such as Rapunzel's tower and Red Riding Hood's house. Throughout the year, the palace gardens host various activities and exhibitions both indoors and outdoors. The Märchengarten, or Fairytale Garden, offers dedicated houses for different stories and numerous engaging activities for children. Visitors can enjoy seasonal displays like the Autumn expo with pumpkin exhibits and the Spring expo showcasing vibrant flowers.
The gardens at the palace are amazing, there are always activities or expos happening, inside and outside of the gardens, so makes sense to go at different times of the year. Tickets upfront are not needed. I especially love the Autumn expo with the pumpkins displays and the Spring expo with the flower displays :D! For children there is the Märchengarten / Fairytale garden, where all stories get their own house and there are many activities to keep the little ones busy the whole day.

We visited the gardens and found this delightful section with animatronic displays of fairy tales. Even if you aren’t a kid they are well done. There is also a free boat ride which is for big and small kids. And a train although there is a small charge for that. Cafe as well. Included in the gardens ticket price 😀

This is one the most beautiful gardens I have visited this year! The place has many activities that is welcoming to all family members and friends. Best thing is, there is literally eating joints within the park... It's super easy to access the area and learnt more about the abiotic ecosystems! Your kids will forever remember the beautiful fables such as the legendary Ali Baba and the forty thieves among others!

bought tickets in advance online and did not have to stand in line . A large territory , flowers , various gardens and fountains , fairy - tale houses with characters from different fairy tales , Rapunzel Tower - everything attracts children very much . There is a cafe on site , several attractions . There was a very long queue for the train and boats , waiting for more than an hour . Now there is an exhibition of pumpkins , various pumpkin figures all over the park , especially at the bottom at the foot of Rapunzel Castle

This place is a secret gems of Ludwigsburg. I had a short business trip. And I went there twice!! The lamb. The steak… they are in the top 5 of the world. And I have been to many places.

True Italian owner, true Italian meals. We had a very great time. Was rarely eating so good and tasty as in this restaurant. 100% recommendable to anyone who loves Italian meals, and to those who want to try it. Owner and cook were coming to the table to care personally about the guests, an attitude very rarely seen in the last time.

The portions are big. Tip: Try any of the specialties with truffle!

This is a charming place to wind down after a stressful week and enjoy the evening with friends or family. It’s in fact one of these unique places where the cook comes to your table from the nearby kitchen to answer your questions and give you recommendations… We had a great family reunion in this lovely, family owned restaurant and can’t wait to enjoy the calm and friendly atmosphere again. Thank you very much for the nice evening in your restaurant.

It is small and food is nice, for that 4/5. The day I was there it was full and the kitchen couldn’t keep up. 0/5. Would definitely recommend it but in a more slow day.
