The Ludwigsburg Residential Palace, often referred to as the Versailles of Swabia, is a magnificent Baroque residence that encompasses children's, fashion, and ceramics museums within its opulent walls. Constructed in the early 18th century by Duke Eberhard Ludwig of Wurttemberg, this colossal architectural marvel spans over 452,000 square feet and houses 452 rooms.
Really nice palace, with fairy tail park for children. It’s so big place you need almost 3hours to go through all place. They offer small train for baby, also small boats go through small river. Children must love all activities there.
Denisa P — Google review
Personally, I think this palace is an average place to visit in Stuttgart unless you have the time and haven’t been to any large palaces in Europe, especially in Italy or France. However, it’s an ideal spot for photography because it’s not crowded with tourists. The English tour is only offered once a day, so check the official website for the date and time. The ticket is quite affordable, and the tour lasts about an hour. I opted for the “Duke” tour, which showcased around 10-15 rooms (although the palace has 452 rooms). To be honest, I’ve seen better palaces. So, I would recommend simply going to the garden and taking a leisurely walk in the pleasant weather. Many of the hallways were simply decorated with paintings, and most of the rooms were not particularly impressive. I didn’t even bother taking pictures. The church was interesting, but I couldn’t get inside during the tour. The history section was interesting, as it provided insight into the noble family that ruled over this region. From an art and architecture perspective, I would suggest taking pictures of the palace’s exterior would be enough.
Chin — Google review
We went for the annual pumpkin festival and had an amazing time. The children enjoyed the views and the artistry and adventure were worth the cost. Great time.
Jessica B — Google review
I was here for the pumpkin festival and it was great. The palace gardens are big and you need a lot of time to stroll though them. They also have a fairytale forest, with lots of small houses retelling German fairytales, which is especially nice for kids.
Denny F — Google review
Be aware: 1) visit to the palace only with guide. Minimum 1h 2) tickets to the garden and the visit to the palace are separated. And honestly the garden is beautiful but not worth the 14 euros you pay to see the same thing you can see from a little bit far from the entrance of the garden!
Rodolfo S — Google review
This was a beautiful experience. There are ENGLISH speaking tours, despite what another said in a review. Just ask the front what time the English tour starts. It was quite confusing trying to find the front door for the inside tour. Google maps took me to a side parking lot, directly in front of the building, but the entramce only sold tickets for the garden tour at 28€ per person. The garden tickets are much more than the palace tour tickets. We thought we bought tickets for the tour of the palace and grounds, but the tickets were only for the palace gardens. After walking around for a while in the front of the building and trying to find the palace entrance, we ended up at an exit where a kind staff member offered us a stamp and gave directions. Our tour guide was enthusiastic and full of information. He could answer any question thrown at him! I loved our guide's charisma and humor. The garden is great for children with a fairy garden in the back. The groups for the interior tour were not too large, so you could always hear the guide. The rooms of the palace are spectacular and full of history. I ended up doing a tour in the native tongue since I was on a drive back to my home and did not have time to wait for the English tour. I used the translate app on my phone and the guide filled me and my partner in occasionally to ensure we were up to speed. Overall, this was a fantastic experience. Just be mindful of the parking and palace entrance if your goal is not to visit the gardens, although they are beautiful.
Vanessa F — Google review
One of the more magnificent castles I've visited in Europe! Though it's size is not enormous (rightfully so due to its history) it was wonderfully preserved and the guided tours are 100% worth the price and time. Our guides wrtr lovely and answered everyone's questions. We saw plenty of people taking their wedding photos on site, plenty of families and there were accessible bathrooms across the grounds. Truly worth the trip!!
Moriah — Google review
I liked the palace. Beautiful halls, very chic interior. True, the tour was only in German and there was no alternative. I also visited the ceramics museum. A good collection.

Schloss Favorite in Ludwigsburg is an 18th-century Baroque summer palace with neoclassical interiors, surrounded by expansive parkland. Originally designed as a hunting castle, it now stands as a small country villa offering access to the surrounding countryside. Just a short walk from Residenzschloss, this delicate Rococo palace provides insight into the leisurely pursuits of the nobility. The palace has been transformed into a museum showcasing stunning artwork, furnishings, and architecture.
A luxurious symmetrical building in the Baroque style. Incredibly beautiful. There is also a gorgeous park here, many animals that sometimes come into contact with people
Ancestral S — Google review
The Favorite palace was a really nice place to visit. We couldn't go inside as it was closed but from outside it was beautiful. The surrounding garden was well maintained and had a variety of plants. The building is painted in yellow and on a sunny day, it looks absolutely remarkable.

A beautiful and vibrant castle surrounded by woods and nature. Quiet and peaceful environment. Entrance into the park compound is free. Cycling is not permitted on weekends and public holidays.

Schloss Favorite is a hidden gem in Ludwigsburg! This elegant Baroque summer palace, surrounded by a peaceful park, offers a glimpse into the grandeur of 18th-century court life. The neoclassical interiors are beautifully preserved, and the symmetry of the architecture is stunning. The surrounding Favoritepark is perfect for a relaxing stroll, with well-maintained gardens and occasional wildlife sightings. While the palace itself is not always open, the exterior alone is worth the visit, especially on a sunny day when its yellow façade glows beautifully.
Laurence H — Google review
An interesting hunting lodge in a small deer park. The deer are tame enough to be hand fed on apples but given the size of their antlers I wouldn’t recommend it! The Favorite Castle is pretty but you can’t go inside. There’s a nice view of the Residence Castle from the balcony. Free entry to the park 😃
Rog E — Google review

We recently had the chance to visit the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart, and it was an incredible experience. The moment you walk in, you're surrounded by a stunning display of design, speed, and innovation that reflects the true **triumph of German engineering**. From the earliest Porsche models to cutting-edge concept cars, every exhibit showcases precision, craftsmanship, and a relentless pursuit of performance. The museum's architecture itself is strikingly modern, mirroring the brand’s forward-thinking spirit. We were especially impressed by the motorsport section, which highlights Porsche’s dominance on the track and the technological breakthroughs behind it. Whether you're a lifelong car fan or just curious, the museum offers a deep appreciation for what makes Porsche — and German engineering as a whole — world-renowned. We left inspired and uplifted especially my husband who is cars enthusiast! Definitely must see!
Natasha K — Google review
Visiting this place is a must if you appreciate automobiles and the culture surrounding them. Although it is located a bit outside the city's heart, the experience is worth the travel. Be prepared for a potentially bustling atmosphere, as many people share your interest. To avoid queues and ensure entry, consider purchasing your tickets ahead of your visit. Enjoy the impressive assortment of Porsches on display for you to admire.
Jey A — Google review
Such a cool experience to be able to go here, loved the interactive bits but the story telling could’ve been done better for Ferdinand Porsche’s life. Coming from my time in the Mercedes Benz museum down the road which did their story telling impeccably. Definitely go here though, would highly reccommend if you like looking at high horsepower monsters and multi million euro cars!
Paul M — Google review
Very nice museum with a really big collection of … Porsche’s of course, what else?! It talks about the really fascinating history, the ups, the downs, the successes, the what ever you want to know about this magnificent sports performance vehicles. It’s a must visit in stuttgart!
Claudiu F — Google review
Car enthusiasts will love it. The museum will give you a diving in the history of Germany and automobiles. The visit starts at the visitor center going up to the 8th floor down. There’s parking on the streets nearby and some parking nearby the museum. Parking garage is also available nearby. Tickets may be bought online or in person. It is kids friendly and wheelchair accessible. There’s a souvenir store, a restaurant and more downstairs from the visitor center.
Cassia V — Google review
A must see for car enthusiasts and history lovers. The museum is nicely laid and and takes you through the history of Porsche from the early days to modern day. Go early to avoid crowds. A fantastic experience overall.
Benjamin M — Google review
The Porsche Museum is absolutely incredible and a must-visit for anyone who loves the Porsche brand. The collection is stunning, with so many iconic cars from throughout Porsche’s history displayed in a beautifully curated space. From groundbreaking race cars to legendary road cars, every exhibit highlights the brand’s innovation and engineering excellence. My personal favorites were the Nurburgring record-breaking 919 Evo, which is breathtaking to see up close, and the Carrera GT, a true masterpiece of design and performance. The museum perfectly captures what makes Porsche special, and it’s well worth the trip for any automotive enthusiast.

The Blühendes Barock Gartenschau Ludwigsburg, also known as Ludwigsburg Palace Gardens, is a breathtaking 30-hectare garden surrounding the palace on three sides. The gardens feature themed plantings, beautiful flowers, and picturesque fountains. With 452 rooms in 18 buildings, it's one of Europe's largest original Baroque complexes. Visitors can enjoy various themed exhibitions such as the Pumpkin Exhibition and Sand Sculptures throughout the year.
We paid 14 euro per person(adult). The place was huge and there was many playgrounds and attractions for kids. Literally here's a heaven for children. It roughly takes 2-3 hours to look all around. Highly recommend👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
MALGEUM K — Google review
We spent a lovely afternoon at Blühendes Barock Gartenschau in Ludwigsburg and it honestly felt like a little hidden gem. Entry was 14€ per adult and it was absolutely worth it. The place is huge and beautifully maintained, with stunning trees, birds, flamingos, and even storks wandering around. There were also impressive sand sculptures scattered throughout, which made the whole walk even more interesting. For families, this place is a dream. So many playgrounds and kid-friendly attractions — it's basically heaven for children. The fairytale walk through the garden was magical and so thoughtfully done. It takes about 2 to 3 hours to explore everything at a relaxed pace. There are clean toilets, a restaurant, and plenty of space to sit and take it all in. Highly recommend if you're in the area. We’ll definitely be back!
I. F — Google review
These gardens form a big part of the Residenzschloss estate and make a delightful walk. There is something for everyone, with areas set aside for young children to enjoy and their siblings and parents to relax. It's not cheap, but we had a great afternoon.
David H — Google review
Beautiful grounds and the pumpkin festival was stunning! So many fun exhibits to check out. You can easily spend the whole day here. I highly recommend buying your tickets online, we did and were able to skip the two long lines when we arrived. The grounds are so big it doesn’t feel crowded even on a full day.
Spencer V — Google review
A beautiful palace with a wonderful atmosphere! 🎃 We visited during the annual pumpkin exhibition, and it was both fascinating and educational. The grounds are full of food courts where you can try all kinds of creative pumpkin dishes — we especially loved the candied pumpkin seeds! The only downside is that the entrance and food prices are a bit on the expensive side, but overall it’s definitely worth a visit🧡
Victoriia K — Google review
A must see if you are in town. Between the castle and the garden you can spend the whole day. The museum is a time machine. Do visit!

A stunning place that feels like stepping into another era. The architecture, the gardens, and the sheer scale of it all are breathtaking. Everything is beautifully preserved and full of quiet elegance. It’s one of those places where history doesn’t just sit behind glass — it surrounds you. Truly worth the visit.

Monrepos Lakeside Palace, a baroque mansion and gardens located alongside the serene Monrepos See, offers visitors a tranquil escape from urban life. The neoclassical palace, built in the 1750s, exudes an elegant charm and provides opportunities for leisurely walks, lakeside meals, and serene boat trips. The picturesque grounds feature walking trails, diverse plant species, and a boating lake.
Just a fantastic place to relax on a sunny day. The walk to the palace is great and once you get there, it is so worth it!
Ross H — Google review
Unfortunately, the boating season is already over, but you can still enjoy the architecture and nature, there are still a couple of restaurants that work on the territory, so you can relax and have something to eat
Ancestral S — Google review
Interior of the palace is open only during special events. Seechloss Monrepos is a hunting lodge and summer residence located on the northern edge of Ludwigsburg, set beside a tranquil lake within a large English-style landscape park. It was built for the Dukes of Württemberg in the Neo-Classical style in 1764.
Kent W — Google review
I recently spent a few hours at Monrepos Castle, and it was such a refreshing escape from the city. The moment I entered the park, I was greeted by vast green lawns, towering trees, and the serene calm of nature. It felt like a perfect place to just slow down and breathe. Walking along the paths, I noticed how quiet and peaceful everything was. Birds were chirping softly, and the gentle rustle of leaves made it feel like time had slowed. There are so many spots that are ideal for a picnic or just sitting on a bench with a book, enjoying the calm surroundings. The castle itself adds a subtle charm, but honestly, it’s the natural beauty that steals the show. Spending time here made me realize how refreshing it can be to just disconnect, enjoy a little solitude, and be surrounded by greenery. Truly, a hidden gem for anyone who loves peaceful walks and nature.
Pankaj S — Google review
Lovely place with a beautiful balance of nature and history. The open-air summer concerts are totally recommended, with a possibility of a picnic experience while listening to music. Outside the concert time the entrance is free, for concerts they have student discounts and an Abendkasse.

Monrepos is a lakeside castle in Ludwigsburg, Germany. Although quite distant and almost separated from the Favourite Palace and Ludwigsburg Palace, it is connected to the rest of the park via pedestrian paths. It is one of the two minor palaces of the estate, along with the main one. Very nice to spend the days also suitable for families with children. Pedal and oar boats can be rented. Also interesting is the fact that you can celebrate christening weddings in this wonderful place.

(Translated by Google) Wonderful, the lady at reception was very friendly and very helpful. Another lady gave us a short tour and just like that. Children don't bother us here at all, even if they get louder, not even a dirty look, which is very rare these days. The "LUFFT" exhibition was really very successful, not too much and not too little, all four children of different ages (5-11) were enthusiastic and happily occupied for an hour. It was also very interesting for us adults. The Ludwigsburg Museum is always worth a visit.

If you're planning a visit during the holiday season, make sure to experience the Barock Weihnachtsmarkt Ludwigsburg, one of Germany's most enchanting Christmas markets. Set against the stunning backdrop of Ludwigsburg Residential Palace, this annual event transforms the main square into a festive paradise filled with twinkling lights and beautifully decorated stalls. Visitors can enjoy an array of handcrafted goods while sipping on warm Gluhwein amidst cheerful crowds.
The Barock Weihnachtsmarkt in Ludwigsburg is hands down one of the most charming Christmas markets I've visited. Set against the backdrop of the stunning Ludwigsburg Palace, the market has a unique baroque flair that sets it apart from others. The stalls are beautifully decorated, offering everything from handcrafted ornaments to delicious seasonal treats like roasted chestnuts and mulled wine. The atmosphere feels like stepping into a winter wonderland, especially as the lights twinkle at night and the sounds of holiday music fill the air. I loved wandering around, browsing the cozy stalls, and soaking in the festive vibe. Plus, the palace grounds make for a stunning setting, adding to the whole magical experience.

The Strafvollzugsmuseum Ludwigsburg, also known as the Prison Museum, offers a unique experience by shedding light on historical prison life. Visitors describe it as an interesting and informative place to learn about the past institution. The museum allows visitors to experience what it was like in a barren cell, providing a glimpse into the past prison system. Additionally, visitors appreciate the friendly staff and the option to make donations while entry remains free of charge.
Very interesting furnished museum that illustrates the history of the prison system in Baden-Württemberg from about the 18th century to the 70s of the last century.

(Translated by Google) A truly special museum visit. I was completely alone in the exhibition, which gave the rooms a special atmosphere. The introduction and farewell was given personally by the museum director. The exhibition has been lovingly put together and covers a long period of time. There are prisoner lists that go back to 1779 (who was in prison, why and for how long) and the weekly menu from the Hohenasperg JVA. There is a lot of interesting text information about everyday life in prison and impressive displays. The highlights for me were the guillotines and the finds from the RAF cells. I looked at the exhibition in detail and was in the exhibition, which is spread over two floors, for about 1 1/2 hours. One room was currently being renovated. Admission is free, but of course you should make a donation after your visit :-) PS: I was at the museum on a weekday and, just to be on the safe side, I "registered" the day before. (Original) Ein wirklicher besonderer Museumsbesuch.

We were greeted and bid farewell by the director himself, who clearly enjoys and is fascinated by his work and the museum. We had wonderful and informative conversations, learned a lot, were amazed, laughed, took lots of photos, and will definitely be back. The special exhibition was also impressive and touching. There's no admission charge, but donations are welcome and are readily made when you hear all the other ideas the director has. Simply a fantastic afternoon! (Translated by Google) Cheers to the Ludwigsburg Prison Museum - finally a place where punishment not only hurts, but also educates! Anyone who thinks museums are boring has never been locked up voluntarily. The exhibition is top – informative, well done, with real cells, real stories and real thought. And the best thing: you leave the museum and suddenly realize how much of what you see inside is actually still happening outside. Just with a laptop, a schedule and pressure to perform. More punishment! And more carrots! But please distribute fairly. Not just resocialization for some and the golden handshake for others. Conclusion: If you want to briefly step out of the neoliberal grind and think about freedom, order and the absurdities of our society, you have come to the right place. And don't worry: at the end you can go out again - without any ankle bracelets.

Kürbisausstellung Ludwigsburg is a seasonal event held at the castle grounds, featuring flowerbeds and various attractions. The festival includes sand sculptures and a renowned pumpkin show, making it an exciting experience for visitors. Additionally, the area offers a variety of dining options such as Lemongrass Asiatische Spezialitaten, Kullman's Ludwigsburg, and Brauerei zum Rossknecht.
Great place to spend the day! Lots of pumpkins from all over the world, great food based on pumpkin, shops, nice atmosphere. The service is also great despite the crowds, plenty of seating at the tables outside for everyone. There is a theme every year, 2025 is Kino (Cinema).

While visiting the actual pumpkin exhibit is free, we paid for a ticket for the park grounds. It was very cute and family friendly though understandably full on the weekend. We would definitely have visited early in the year if possible as it was rather cold and windy and there is no cover. The food options were very nice and overall the event was sweet. (definitely could have used better mapping for the event and the park in general as it was a bit confusing to walk around)

Second year in the row that we attended the Ausstellung, and amazed by the amount of pumpkins and the giant statutes. The park where it is held is amazing as well with different kids venues. Definitely suggest to visit if you're near Stuttgart!!! Great times!

I recommend to come early, there was a lot of people. But if you skip the main road in the garden and take the hidden ways you’ll get much faster to your destination. The facility is big and there are a lot of things to see. The price was reasonable

I love going to the annual Pumpkin Festival 🎃 at Ludwigsburg, it's always such a visual delight! The creativity with the pumpkin displays is seriously next level, and I find myself snapping photos constantly. 😄 It's a super entertaining spot, particularly if you have kids; there are so many fun activities to keep them busy. The atmosphere is always buzzing, with crowds enjoying the food stalls and different events. 🎉 It's the perfect autumn day out, and I highly recommend it if you're looking for something fun to do! 🤩

Train station
Ludwigsburg Palace is easily accessible by train, with the S-Bahn or DB train taking you to Ludwigsburg station. From there, a short walk or a bus ride on various routes will get you to the palace. The station offers amenities like shops and eateries, making it convenient for travelers. The city itself is described as beautiful and bustling, with plenty of dining options amidst its hilly terrain.
It is a beautiful city and the train station is more than reasonable. It is also convenient to buy some things when you visit the train station, thanks to the bakery, DM, and other shops located at the station.
Pihu K — Google review
I have to go with a 3 for this particular station. Ludwigsburg is a very nice town which deserves a much better station as a main hub. This station is something like it has everything but almost nothing. The washrooms are almost always closed, pretty dirty elevators, very little wastebins resulting in littering and most importantly, the transfer from 2-3-4 to 1 is pretty difficult in case of short layovers. Positives are a number of shops like Sehne, DM, a kebab shop, Yorma etc. Overall, it needs much improvement.
Piuli C — Google review
Ludwigsburg Bahnhof is average at best and frustrating at worst. It’s functional, sure, but not exactly a place you’d want to spend much time in. The station layout feels a bit outdated and confusing, especially for newcomers. Signage isn’t always clear, and if you’re in a rush, good luck navigating quickly. The platforms are often crowded, especially during rush hours, and the lack of sufficient shelter means you’ll get soaked in the rain or baked in the summer. The elevators and escalators can be unreliable, which is a problem if you’ve got luggage or mobility issues. Inside, the selection of shops and food options is limited. There’s a bakery, a couple of snack spots, and a convenience store — nothing impressive. Cleanliness is hit or miss; some days it’s tolerable, other days the smell near the stairs is just awful. Trains are decently punctual, but delays happen more often than they should. Security presence is minimal, and the place doesn’t feel super safe at night. Overall, it’s a station that does the bare minimum. You get where you need to go, but don’t expect comfort or efficiency. It’s overdue for a serious upgrade.
Sly S — Google review
This station has most of the amenities but most of them need more maintenance and cleanliness. The elevators are dirty. The train station seems very old. Ludwigsburg definitely needs a modern railway station.
N K — Google review
Nice thriving town, plenty going on and clean.
Ken M — Google review
Pretty old and ugly train station. I guess Ludwigsburg deserves a much better, modern and functional train station. I am convinced that the main train station of each city should show what to expect of its city, however in this case this theory doesn't apply. Pity
Wiencke — Google review

(Translated by Google) The Fairy Tale Garden in the Blühendes Barock (Blooming Baroque) is a true institution – for some 50 years it has delighted generations of visitors. And you can feel it: much here has remained just as you remember it from your own childhood. The familiar fairy tale scenes, the little gondolas, the talking figures – all of this has a special nostalgic charm that awakens memories and, for many, constitutes the allure of the Fairy Tale Garden. But this very unchangedness also creates a certain tension. What is, on the one hand, a lovingly preserved tradition, on the other hand, sometimes seems out of step with the times. Some areas could benefit from a careful modernization – not to change its character, but to bring the magic into the present. Technology, design, and interactivity have advanced since then, and you sense that the Fairy Tale Garden's potential has not yet been fully realized. Precisely because the Fairy Tale Garden has accompanied so many people for decades, it would be wonderful if it could continue to evolve – with the same passion, but with a fresh perspective on the present day. Because its fairytale magic deserves to endure for a long time to come.

(Translated by Google) The fairytale houses are showing their age, and even though they've tried to modernize some of them, horror and moralizing are still the main focus. Our children were even afraid to walk through the tunnel in the aviary afterward because they thought something would jump out or something creepy would open. Thanks, Fairytale Park! 😕 "The Star Talers," "The Bremen Town Musicians," and "Rapunzel's Braid" were the only things they actually enjoyed. On top of that, the train costs extra. Seriously? The entrance fee isn't cheap as it is; at least let the kids ride for free. All in all, it's more of a rip-off, and what kind of people want to exploit children's fears?

(Translated by Google) Yesterday, we visited the Fairy Tale Garden in Ludwigsburg as a family again. A beautiful park that brings back many childhood memories for me. My children, ages 4 and 7, had a great time discovering the many fairy tales and participating interactively in some of them. They were so excited that we, as parents, were truly captivated. The short boat tour and the water lily chair that ascends the tower were also highlights. Tickets should be purchased online in advance to save a few euros. One thing I have to criticize, however, was the condition of the women's restrooms near the train station. It smelled quite foul, cobwebs were hanging from the ceiling, and there were many spiders on the ceiling. The magic of the restrooms also left a lot to be desired. Especially when traveling with children, the cleanliness of restrooms is not insignificant. I strongly recommend renovating the restrooms or making them more hygienic, including replacing the toilet seats. I also didn't think it was family-friendly that the train ride had to be paid for separately. The entrance fee should be sufficient for that. This way, children could ride several times without being disappointed on a family day out.

If you don't care about the Fairy Tale Garden, you can certainly relax and stroll. On the negative side: Some things in the Fairy Tale Garden were out of order, and had probably been for some time (Frog Prince...). A children's ice pop costs €3.50. That's not normal anymore. Operating and personnel costs aside, that's extortionate and no longer worth paying with a clear conscience. Even other foodstuffs are far from being available, overpriced, and cause guests to resort to bringing their own food and drinks or avoid the park altogether. Playing with children's hearts at such exorbitant prices is absolutely out of the question. Hohenasperg, a captivating destination in Germany, offers visitors a blend of history and stunning views. While exploring this former prison site, you can enjoy picturesque walks around the grounds with well-maintained paths that are accessible for all ages. The museum on-site provides an intriguing glimpse into the past, though it leans towards a more academic experience with its focus on reading materials rather than interactive displays.
Good place to walk on a morning. There are a lot of parking spaces. You can walk all around the place. They made a path around the buildings. You need to watch out the small children because on the cliff side is only a handrail. The children can easily slip through. In rest a beautifull place with a very nice view of the villages around it. Give it a try.

The museum itself is very small and full of paper documents in several rooms. In case you want to see the prison, it's not included in the museum and I have the feeling that the prison itself is not open to public. But the outside view is great, and very good for a hike.

The place is actually a really nice fortress, we can say there's a nice view too from the top. If the bar is closed there's no way to have a glass of water. The museum it's in German, the man at the desk spoke English to us without saying that NOTHING IS EXPLAINED in English. Breuningerland Ludwigsburg Shopping Mall is a modern, spacious three-story building in the city district of Tamm. With nearly 120 shops, it offers a wide range of shopping options and dining experiences. The mall is easily accessible by car via highways A81 and B27. Visitors can enjoy free parking and convenient family washrooms, making it an ideal destination for families with young children.
In general, it is a typical large shopping center, which has everything for shopping and entertainment. But what pleasantly surprised me is - that it's not stuffy and you can breathe well here! Usually in such shopping centers this is a problem.

We needed to rent on short notice a large car for a few days, so finding the proper vehicle size & type whithin the time period we needed was a real challenge to the Ludwigsburg Branch. We successfully got the right vehicle for the time we needed and at a fair rate :) !!! This was great !! However this was only possible because Mr. Florian (Branch Manager) and his team worked above and beyond, doing all it takes to achieve this. We really appreciate this strong customer focus and good service from the Ludwigsburg branch. Thank you very much.

Car was in good condition. But the lady at sixt Ludwigsburg tricked me giving me wrong information to gain more money. She told me like 5 times : book the car online but don't book insurance online ,it is cheaper if I take it directly at their desk when I come to pick up the car. Then later I found out ,it is costing much more if I had to take insurance at their desk . It was a different guy at the desk then , when I explained to him about this lady tricking me, he immediately reduced the insurance amount another 20 euros but still slightly expensive than what was on the internet. !!

The Emichsburg was built between 1798 and 1802 according to plans by Nikolaus Friedrich von Thouret in the east garden of Ludwigsburg Palace , today's Blooming Baroque, in a medieval style over a former quarry. It is considered the main work in the English garden area and was built according to the ideas of Duke Friedrich II of Württemberg when this garden area was redesigned. It is named after Emicho , the brother of Count Ludwig I , who was mentioned in a document in the 12th century. Today the Emichsburg is used as a Rapunzel tower in the fairy tale garden of the castle park.

(Translated by Google) Nice construction playground for children. We were there as part of the Agenda Diploma and my children were enthusiastic about baking herb bread with herbs they had picked themselves in a stone oven. Very well instructed and with lots of play time in between. Since the playground, which has been run by a club for 40 years, is located outside, children's noises are unlikely to bother residents. Here children can build and play to their heart's content. If you want, you can also buy homemade jam here.

There is even a special day for the younger/new Robi children where they can settle in on the Robi. A very valuable project. Thanks to all contributors. Danke an alle Mitwirkenden.

(Translated by Google) Definitely not bad in summer, but takes some getting used to in winter. There are pallets with nails lying around everywhere, which increases the risk of injury. I also think it's a bit excessive if you have to take properly disposed of pizza boxes home with you when you return your keys. The pay is relatively cheap, but only very relative when you consider that you have to take care of everything yourself. So the use of the garbage cans could be included in the price. Not recommended for a birthday in winter.

But I got the impression that it hasn't been revised in a long time. There is certainly still some work that can be done here. I also lacked information about other victim groups. All in all, I was satisfied and would welcome some changes to the exhibition.
