It's the first mall I visited after coming to Germany. It is really a great place. You can find all the required outlets at a single location. You need to have a good amount of time on your hand while visiting this place, as its really spread across the place.

Awesome place. You get to buy almost everything. Can call it as a mall. From Apotheke to Aldi to Kaufland, everything is available here. And of course lot of eateries including Nordsee, cafeteria, backerai etc etc

I went to see an Indian movie called Aavesham with my homies. It was screened at kino3 which was very small . The sound was decent, but the screen was like, super small. The place was clean and everything looked well maintained. It'd be great if they showed international movies in bigger screens though.

Best Cinema I've been to. Friendly staff, comfortable waiting area downstairs, and huge, well-padded, electrically adjustable seats with wide double arm rests (double seats available), plus excellent audio and sound quality. What I WILL criticise is the practice of keeping the door open during previews and especially during the credits, which allows noise from outside in and detracts from the experience.

Nearly empty, so almost like a private screening. No lift from ground floor; "you should arrange that with the sales office in advance" - what a stupid policy. Won't be returning as stairs don't work for me or many others. Poor management.

Their website doesn't always show up the right seats to buy. Or they are inverted, so the back seats give you one in the front line. Nice seats though, clean and nice rooms

AWESOME. You can see a water source and even drink from the water or put your feet in it. Good place for a picnic. You can go in a park next to the water source if you want. Would definitely recommend to check out since a lot of kids these days never saw a real water source and how the water comes out of the ground.

Beautiful place for hanging out with family or friends. Not so far from city centre. And there's restaurants nearby if you want to have lunch or dinner with this beautiful view.

Saint Liborius Cathedral in Paderborn was founded in the 8th century, but the present building dates mainly from the 13th century. In the crypt, one of the largest in Germany, the relics of St Liborius are kept. The church was restored with Baroque additions after the Thirty Years' War, during the reign of Prince-Bishop Dietrich Adolf, and also had to be rebuilt after the bombings of the Second World War. These later additions and reconstructions did not fundamentally alter the overall appearance of the building

The history here was incredible! We couldn’t believe the feeling of antiquity inside this place with a date of 850 AD for a beginning. The three rabbits with three ears between them was an intriguing icon.

The mesmerising cathedral has been the site of a church since Charlemagne founded a bishopric at this very location in the 8th century. As we see it now, Paderborn Cathedral’s architecture is both Romanesque and Gothic and was completed relatively quickly during the 13th century. The powerful 93-metre western tower is Paderborn’s most famous image. Despite sustaining war damage that destroyed the Medieval stained glass, the cathedral is rich with decoration and fittings. Seek out the Paradise Portal on the southern arm of the western nave. This entrance is from the beginning of the 1200s and abounds with French-style statues that include one of the earliest images of a standing Mary in Germany. Also look out for the Pietà, sculpted in Hesse in 1360, an alabaster relief of the Three Kings from around that time, and the Gothic 15th-century Margarethenaltar.

This is a beautiful cathedral. The Stations of the Cross are beautifully unique and a must see,. You can feel the history and peace in and around this holy landmark. It is worth a walk through and around.

A good place for shopping in the heart of paderborn. If you get hungry, you have a big choice of eateries. You can have a buffet at a very reasonable price or just grab a bite.

Nice cozy room in a old historical building, 1 minutes away from the cathedral. Not fancy but everything runs smoothly, so I had a pleasant stay. There were some loud sounds around 5/6am in the morning that woke me up multiple times.

Very nice rooms with a not stylish Interieur but I felt really comfortable. The bed was not perfect but still pretty good, since I had a good rest. The location is possible the best thing about it, being inside the center of Paderborn so you can reach everything by foot and the beautiful view of the Paderquellgebiet. Very cheap burgers and the food is completely fast food. Literally dump the frozen nuggets in the oil right in front of you. Customer service was not that great, the servers were very grumpy and impatient.

During Libori 2013 we got some coupons for Kochlöffel as they were having some kind of deal - buy 4 burgers for a price of three, or something of that kind. Couple of days after we went there to take advantage of these coupons. Burgers were actually old... just reheated. Completely dry, hard rolls, and dark and shrunken burgers. Just like someone would re-heat them in microwave. I do not recommend this place. Even with coupons.

Not everyone wants to play ball whether intending to or not! Staff were friendly and helpful throughout. Lots of parking although almost full when I visited (October ) so I can imagine it being difficult during the summer Cost Euro12 to swim for 2 hours.

Hotel is nice and the pool is a fun place to come with kids. Sauna area has a pleasant outside space and some nice saunas, but is also way too busy to be able to relax. During the day on Sunday the number of people present was about twice more than the capacity of the place. No lockers, people leaving their bags everywhere. Some parts of the sauna area seem to not have been renovated since the 80s. Overall, nice spa but really needs some crowd management.

I've been going here since I was a kid (and I'm 35) It's a great place to come for a last minute day out with the kids. Its also had an upgrade since I last went. There is 2 water slides, very fast with lights in....whirl pool, outside pool, Jacuzzis, water fountains which you can play on, diving boards as well. They also do a restaurant that sells what you would expect from a German shop, Expensive though. But a bowl of pommes with mayo is a must half way through any swimming day in Germany.....we payed 33 Euros for 3 hours. Which is plenty of time.

This is probably the best Döner place in Paderborn. The meat tastes amazing and fresh! The fries is still crispy and already have it’s own taste as they put some powder on the fries. Salad also tasted fresh. Adding the sauces of your choice on top makes it complete. The portion is very generous with only a price of 6€

Im staying at best western hotel and im taking the dinner each night in this place, due to their best food and great quality of services. The waiters are the best because they know hot to recommend the food and the chefs are the best because they are doing the best dishes for their guests. I would come to this place even if I have to drive a long distance.

The food served was aimed at an upmarket clientele but failed to deliver. It looked it like the food wanted to be something it simply wasn't. Staff asked us how the food was but did not seem to care after it was calmly explained to here what portions of the 4 course meal were great and which weren't. A shame really. The atmosphere was really nice inside and outside. Staff was also very friendly and helpful. Overall an average experience.

We loved the look of the restaurant. The service started off good but as soon as I explained that my wife was put on a strict gluten free diet because of her health issue with gluten, I seen the lady serving us change her facial expressions at once to a very impatient, angry look!! From then on we had been rushed and ignored. And my wife was left not knowing what she could safely eat on the menu!! We just had drinks and left. This was a great day out with the kids! They were, obviously, obsessed by the computergames they were able to play on the different gens of consoles that were on display. The museum is pretty large and you can easily spend 3 hours or more in there. The entrance is on the ground floor but the gross of the museum is on the first and second floor. It's very interactive and great for every age to visit. The first floor is mostly fixed on the realy old ways of communication and writings. The second floor is more and more coming to the present and is mostly pointing at the age of computing. Definitely not expensive! We've payed just 20 euros for the family ticket and entered with 4 (incl 2 kids). Also, there is loads of free parking space in front t of the museum. Day well spend!

Great museum, it's huge! Wow, the amount of stuff they have on show is unbelievable. And there's even stuff they can either demonstrate or that you can actually try yourself. Very impressive.

Very nice place to spend a few hours. Here , there is a mix of history and entertainment. Kids can play computer games on several places, but some controllers are broken or simply lacks basic tutorial. Although there are some English explanations, most of it are written in German. Taking a guided tour is strongly recommend. Hearing those stories makes sense to understand how technology has become part of our daily live.

A very intressting place to visite. I have to say, if you are a stunden then visite this Museum, because it's so cheap and very Interesting even for kids. I am myself a big fan of art and photography, so for me it was a memorable experience ✨️. I paid only 2 Euro for my ticket as a stunden, but a normal ticket kost 8 Euro. About parking i am not sure but with the bus, it is very easy to reach the location. There are many markets in the near and also many food shops and rasturant.

It was founded in 1853 as a kind of repository for liturgical works that no had a place in the diocese’s churches. In 1975 the museum moved into a new building, conceived to resemble a treasure box and built on the southwest corner of the cathedral tower. Lovers of medieval art won’t know where to begin; the Romanesque Imad Madonna from the 1050s is one of the oldest depictions of Mary in western art, together with manuscripts, paintings on wood and canvas, and an invaluable portable altar by the 12th-century goldsmith Roger of Helmarshausen.

I didn't visit the museum but did go to the café. The café is quite nice but service is incredibly slow so, if you are not prepared to spend an hour there whilst having 1 coffee and a cake then go elsewhere. If you have the time, and it's not too busy, then either sitting outside or viewing passers by from inside its a good venue. The coffee was ok and the cake selection was ok too.

Die kleine Tasche meiner Frau durfte nicht mit reingekommen werden, aber viele andere Besucher durften ihre großen Taschen mit hinein nehmen. Die anderen Museen in Paderborn haben wesentlich mehr zu bieten. Meinetwegen kann das Gebäude abgerissen werden, dann hat man auch wieder einen schöneren Blick auf den Dom! :-)

Had an absolutely delicious 3-course meal at this wonderful diner in Paderborn. My husband and daughter are coeliacs, but there was a huge selection of gluten-free options and everything cooked separately from the non-gluten free dishes. The diner was modern and comfortable, with really cool decorations and great background music. The service was phenomenal, with friendly helpful staff, who looked after us perfectly. Will definitely be going back on our next trip to Paderborn.

If you are in the area and fancy a steak then you have to come to Gaucho. The beef in here is amazing, all washed down with a large beer, perfect. Returned in Jun 23, exceptional again.

One of the best rib eye steaks ive had in a long time. Higher doneness is recommended in Germany when it comes to meats fyi!

Found this place only because the other eateries had stopped serving food. What a find! The steaks were perfect and full of flavour, the chips were the best I have tried outside of Yorkshire and the green beans with bacon were simple delicious. Fully recommend this restaurant.
