Best mall for shopping in Paderborn. There are many other brands such as: dm, Aldi, Wirs, Voss, Adler, Blumen Risse…etc. Free parking. Thank you!

Absolutely YES YES YES.. The first time, my wife and I visited the Sudring Shopping Centre, and we were both extremely impressed.

Good shopping experience, the roof seems need care.
Farshad A — Google review
Much the same as every other shopping centre with the slight advantage of being under one roof. All the usual stuff, convenient and clean. 👍
Andrew O — Google review
A big mall in Paderborn. Having around 40 shops. Nice place for shopping .
Kandasamy M — Google review
It's the first mall I visited after coming to Germany. It is really a great place. You can find all the required outlets at a single location. You need to have a good amount of time on your hand while visiting this place, as its really spread across the place.
Sarthak C — Google review
Awesome place. You get to buy almost everything. Can call it as a mall. From Apotheke to Aldi to Kaufland, everything is available here. And of course lot of eateries including Nordsee, cafeteria, backerai etc etc

Cineplex Paderborn

Movie theater
Cineplex Paderborn is a popular movie theater that has been entertaining audiences since 1999. With four floors, it offers a top-notch cinematic experience in the heart of Paderborn. While some visitors found certain screening rooms to be smaller than expected, they appreciated the cleanliness and maintenance of the facilities. The sound systems were praised for their quality, and the comfortable seating received positive feedback.
Will be my favorite cinema forever 🥹 enough space between the chairs. Good view from every seat, a lot of comfort because of the chairs. Went there a lot but this time to say goodbye to Liam Payne and they made sure he is part of us while watching the movie
Ada G — Google review
I went to see an Indian movie called Aavesham with my homies. It was screened at kino3 which was very small . The sound was decent, but the screen was like, super small. The place was clean and everything looked well maintained. It'd be great if they showed international movies in bigger screens though.
Harikrishanan V — Google review
Best Cinema I've been to. Friendly staff, comfortable waiting area downstairs, and huge, well-padded, electrically adjustable seats with wide double arm rests (double seats available), plus excellent audio and sound quality. What I WILL criticise is the practice of keeping the door open during previews and especially during the credits, which allows noise from outside in and detracts from the experience.
François H — Google review
Nearly empty, so almost like a private screening. No lift from ground floor; "you should arrange that with the sales office in advance" - what a stupid policy. Won't be returning as stairs don't work for me or many others. Poor management.
TheLastBaron W — Google review
Very clean and comfortable theater. Staffs are friendly. Just think that movie Tickets are a bit pricey. It’s in the middle of the Paderborn walking and shopping street. Good location. Park the underground garage is convenient
Qiaoling Y — Google review
Very clean and nice cinema theatre. As per the size of the Kino Screen, the tickets are bit pricey. Too less seats in the Kino Hall. I wish they had more seats and not too much close to the screen. Sound systems are excellent. Overall it's good.
Vishu B — Google review
Their website doesn't always show up the right seats to buy. Or they are inverted, so the back seats give you one in the front line. Nice seats though, clean and nice rooms
SemTK — Google review
Modern, clean and spacious place - best deals are the sneack preview promos - there are also english projections for some of the films. Bars on every floor and the choice is good.

State park
Park
Paderquellen is a charming city park located in downtown Paderborn, featuring a spring water pool with illuminated footpaths and lush lawns. The Paderquellen are a unique attraction as they emerge directly in the heart of the city, offering visitors the opportunity to take a tranquil stroll along the Paderwiesen and witness the beauty of the springs. Visitors can even drink from or dip their feet into the water source, making it an ideal spot for picnics.
One of the chillest places for a weekend stroll. Lovely for a picnic as well or simply to hang around with the friendliest of ducks to be found! Amazing!

AWESOME. You can see a water source and even drink from the water or put your feet in it. Good place for a picnic. You can go in a park next to the water source if you want. Would definitely recommend to check out since a lot of kids these days never saw a real water source and how the water comes out of the ground.

Discover the awe-inspiring Paderborner Dom, also known as Paderborn Cathedral, located in the heart of Paderborn, Germany. This magnificent 13th-century structure is dedicated to Saint Mary, Saint Liborius, and Saint Kilian and boasts one of the largest crypts in Germany. The cathedral's architecture combines Romanesque and Gothic styles and features a striking 93-meter western tower.
It is very sad that this cathedral was completely destroyed in 1945. It is located in the city center and is a 10-minute walk from the station.

Philip V — Google review
Beautiful church, a nice quiet spot to get away from the heat.
Daphne — Google review
Saint Liborius Cathedral in Paderborn was founded in the 8th century, but the present building dates mainly from the 13th century. In the crypt, one of the largest in Germany, the relics of St Liborius are kept. The church was restored with Baroque additions after the Thirty Years' War, during the reign of Prince-Bishop Dietrich Adolf, and also had to be rebuilt after the bombings of the Second World War. These later additions and reconstructions did not fundamentally alter the overall appearance of the building
Ro M — Google review
The history here was incredible! We couldn’t believe the feeling of antiquity inside this place with a date of 850 AD for a beginning. The three rabbits with three ears between them was an intriguing icon.
Neal O — Google review
Beautiful place. This Dom is located at the centre of the city. The Cathedral is a house of God and not a museum. Guided tours are also available.
Soamya S — Google review
The mesmerising cathedral has been the site of a church since Charlemagne founded a bishopric at this very location in the 8th century. As we see it now, Paderborn Cathedral’s architecture is both Romanesque and Gothic and was completed relatively quickly during the 13th century. The powerful 93-metre western tower is Paderborn’s most famous image. Despite sustaining war damage that destroyed the Medieval stained glass, the cathedral is rich with decoration and fittings. Seek out the Paradise Portal on the southern arm of the western nave. This entrance is from the beginning of the 1200s and abounds with French-style statues that include one of the earliest images of a standing Mary in Germany. Also look out for the Pietà, sculpted in Hesse in 1360, an alabaster relief of the Three Kings from around that time, and the Gothic 15th-century Margarethenaltar.

With their commitment to customer satisfaction, Kochlöffel ensures that every bite of their chicken leaves you craving for more. The restaurant excels at providing a remarkable dining experience by offering succulent and flavorsome fowl dishes.
I just ate there today and I have to say it's a very good snack bar, I've tested the 🍗 box with fries and a burger and soda and it was really good, the waitresses were very nice and my order was prepared quickly ^^
Théoslame — Google review
Very cheap burgers and the food is completely fast food. Literally dump the frozen nuggets in the oil right in front of you. Customer service was not that great, the servers were very grumpy and impatient.
Haley E — Google review
During Libori 2013 we got some coupons for Kochlöffel as they were having some kind of deal - buy 4 burgers for a price of three, or something of that kind. Couple of days after we went there to take advantage of these coupons. Burgers were actually old... just reheated. Completely dry, hard rolls, and dark and shrunken burgers. Just like someone would re-heat them in microwave. I do not recommend this place. Even with coupons.

The restaurant offers a warm and inviting atmosphere that is suitable for families. The location of the establishment adds to its allure, providing an amazing view that enhances the overall dining experience. The food was great, and the atmosphere and view is amazing as the restaurant is located in a very special location, however, we all felt that the service was a little lacking in organisation, for example the steaks were served long before the sauces and the side dishes were, which can almost ruin a meal. Nestled between Paderborn and Munster-Land, not far from Bielefeld, Westfalen-Therme is a haven for relaxation and wellness. This thermal bath offers a variety of pools, including leisure, swimming, and children's pools with different sizes and temperatures. The facility has undergone upgrades over the years, now featuring two water slides with lights, whirlpools, Jacuzzis, water fountains for playtime, and diving boards.
We paid 27 euro for 4 hours For pool Sauna and jacuzzi I wasn’t sure about sauna but it turned out to be the best part I find the salt feet 🦶 service interesting and my recommend part is sauna aroma Lovely It was worth every cent Still after 4 hours I haven’t seen the outside There were more to explore but already was closing time.
Sahar — Google review
Facilities on offer are ok, there were just far too many people let in. Queues to get in, queues to get out even. Not enough lockers available, not enough changing rooms, of course nowhere near enough deckchairs, not enough room to sit in the jacuzzis, queues for the slides, queues to order food, the list goes on. Was basically extremely stressful & a bit unpleasant. Could have been nice if half so many people were there.
A F — Google review
A nice pool area, especially for kids, the slides are great too. The restaurant inside by the pool is below average, do not recommend, food is bland and quite pricey for what you get. The restaurant in the spa area is 5/5 a stark contrast to the one in the pool area. Lockers and changing rooms have seen better days and could use some renovations. The whole spa area, especially outside is outstanding. Multiple saunas to choose from. Overall a very good experience.
Steven M — Google review
Great facilities, with indoor and outdoor pools Very popular spa pool with lots to do for children (fountains, water jets, ball games etc. Jacuzzi pools for up to eight people and also ledges that offer a similar kind of water massage (maybe water beds are a better way to describe there) Large cafe' adjacent to the pool was very useful and a good place to take a quick"time out" from the very busy pool area This is my only criticism, there should be a "quiet" area of the pool for older patrons to get away from the noisier parts if the wish to. Not everyone wants to play ball whether intending to or not! Staff were friendly and helpful throughout. Lots of parking although almost full when I visited (October ) so I can imagine it being difficult during the summer Cost Euro12 to swim for 2 hours.
Peter H — Google review
Hotel is nice and the pool is a fun place to come with kids. Sauna area has a pleasant outside space and some nice saunas, but is also way too busy to be able to relax. During the day on Sunday the number of people present was about twice more than the capacity of the place. No lockers, people leaving their bags everywhere. Some parts of the sauna area seem to not have been renovated since the 80s. Overall, nice spa but really needs some crowd management.
Kristina M — Google review
I've been going here since I was a kid (and I'm 35) It's a great place to come for a last minute day out with the kids. Its also had an upgrade since I last went. There is 2 water slides, very fast with lights in....whirl pool, outside pool, Jacuzzis, water fountains which you can play on, diving boards as well. They also do a restaurant that sells what you would expect from a German shop, Expensive though. But a bowl of pommes with mayo is a must half way through any swimming day in Germany.....we payed 33 Euros for 3 hours. Which is plenty of time.
David C — Google review

Beautiful gardens. Well maintained with many different themes and information, also interactive exhibitions highlight for me is of course the British weekend. ! It's well worth a visit all year round as you will always find something different to see. Play parks and areas for children and good wheel chair ♿️ access.

Beautiful gardens and amazing sand sculptures. Playgrounds look fantastic. Shame we had to pay full entry price on a Monday when kiosks and cafe were closed.

We had a very enjoyable day out. The entry fee is very reasonable, but the prices inside, perhaps not so much. But the park offers plenty of interest and entertainment, especially for children.

Great Döner. Large portions at good taste. Fresh and well seasoned. Love the vegetables mixed into the Döner plate.

Okay place, i would not recommend it, the food is the best you get in Paderborn. I have tasted better food elsewhere. The place is dirty and the toilets are not clean. The service was okay but still not good enough.
Juud M — Google review
This is probably the best Döner place in Paderborn. The meat tastes amazing and fresh! The fries is still crispy and already have it’s own taste as they put some powder on the fries. Salad also tasted fresh. Adding the sauces of your choice on top makes it complete. The portion is very generous with only a price of 6€

Im staying at best western hotel and im taking the dinner each night in this place, due to their best food and great quality of services. The waiters are the best because they know hot to recommend the food and the chefs are the best because they are doing the best dishes for their guests. I would come to this place even if I have to drive a long distance.
Victor.C — Google review
The food served was aimed at an upmarket clientele but failed to deliver. It looked it like the food wanted to be something it simply wasn't. Staff asked us how the food was but did not seem to care after it was calmly explained to here what portions of the 4 course meal were great and which weren't. A shame really. The atmosphere was really nice inside and outside. Staff was also very friendly and helpful. Overall an average experience.
Steven M — Google review
We loved the look of the restaurant. The service started off good but as soon as I explained that my wife was put on a strict gluten free diet because of her health issue with gluten, I seen the lady serving us change her facial expressions at once to a very impatient, angry look!! From then on we had been rushed and ignored. And my wife was left not knowing what she could safely eat on the menu!! We just had drinks and left. I would not recommend this place to someone with special dietary needs. As long as you order something they don't have to take special care with, they will be happy. 🤔

Nestled in the heart of Paderborn, the Heinz Nixdorf MuseumsForum stands as a testament to the evolution of information and communication technology over an impressive span of 5,000 years. As the largest computer museum globally, it showcases a remarkable collection of over 2,000 exhibits that trace humanity's journey from ancient Mesopotamian writing systems to cutting-edge advancements like artificial intelligence and robotics.
This museum is great and large. I really like this. Everyone should come and visit. I like the machine that can see the energy of my whole body the most. My knowledge has been expanded, 8€ for per person to enter the gate. Thank you so much! ❤️

This was a great day out with the kids! They were, obviously, obsessed by the computergames they were able to play on the different gens of consoles that were on display. The museum is pretty large and you can easily spend 3 hours or more in there. The entrance is on the ground floor but the gross of the museum is on the first and second floor. It's very interactive and great for every age to visit. The first floor is mostly fixed on the realy old ways of communication and writings. The second floor is more and more coming to the present and is mostly pointing at the age of computing. Definitely not expensive! We've payed just 20 euros for the family ticket and entered with 4 (incl 2 kids). Also, there is loads of free parking space in front t of the museum. Day well spend!

Very cool computer museum! There are a lot of games and machines that you can try! Thanks for the great and interesting experience!

loved it allot!!! there's free parking outside, the food at the cafe was amazing and the prices were so cheap. The museum was fascinating for the young and old. Definitely plan about 4 hours on this because you can explore soo much. Perfect for learning and enjoying old and new technology!! Def. recommend!
Darja — Google review
Very nice place to spend a few hours. Here , there is a mix of history and entertainment. Kids can play computer games on several places, but some controllers are broken or simply lacks basic tutorial. Although there are some English explanations, most of it are written in German. Taking a guided tour is strongly recommend. Hearing those stories makes sense to understand how technology has become part of our daily live.

German restaurant
The German House Restaurant in Paderborn is a highly recommended establishment known for its charming decor, impressive selection of draft beers, and delectable cuisine. The Gypsy schnitzel, a traditional dish reminiscent of Munich, surpassed expectations with its exceptional taste. Situated in the heart of the city, this centrally located restaurant allows convenient access to various attractions.
Fantastic food with very friendly staff who were very attentive and professional. Food was amazing and it's no surprise that most people book tables to prevent being disappointed. There were empty tables but the atmosphere is a vibrant one. Well worth the visit, relatively inexpensive but top draw German style menu. The meal I had was called "Schnitzel Scheiterhaufen" which is basically pork schnitzel, mushroom, broccoli, peas, roasted potatoes and a beautiful hollandaise sauce. Not to be missed.

Authentic Gernan atmosphere, extremely fast beer service, friendly staff and convenient location. Chicken meals are probably not the strongest part of the place, although those who ate schnitzel were happy

I liked this restaurant for the decorations, the good beer on tap and the good cuisine. I tied the Gypsy schnitzel - a dish I tried before in Munich, but here it was much better. Would return to this restaurant if I stay in Paderborn again. The restaurant is in the center, in a walking distance to all major cities in this city. A possible problem could be that the kitchen closes early enough - at 21:50 we were told to order fast, if we want to be served ...

The Diözesanmuseum Paderborn is a treasure trove for anyone fascinated by Christian art, showcasing an impressive array of sacred works spanning from the 10th to the 20th century. Established in 1853, it holds the title of being the oldest diocesan museum in the German-speaking world.

A very intressting place to visite. I have to say, if you are a stunden then visite this Museum, because it's so cheap and very Interesting even for kids. I am myself a big fan of art and photography, so for me it was a memorable experience ✨️. I paid only 2 Euro for my ticket as a stunden, but a normal ticket kost 8 Euro. About parking i am not sure but with the bus, it is very easy to reach the location. There are many markets in the near and also many food shops and rasturant.
Marish R — Google review
With an incredible variety of sacred art from the 900s to the 1900s, Paderborn’s diocesan museum is the oldest in the German speaking world. It was founded in 1853 as a kind of repository for liturgical works that no had a place in the diocese’s churches. In 1975 the museum moved into a new building, conceived to resemble a treasure box and built on the southwest corner of the cathedral tower. Lovers of medieval art won’t know where to begin; the Romanesque Imad Madonna from the 1050s is one of the oldest depictions of Mary in western art, together with manuscripts, paintings on wood and canvas, and an invaluable portable altar by the 12th-century goldsmith Roger of Helmarshausen.
Sumiethraa S — Google review

I didn't visit the museum but did go to the café. The café is quite nice but service is incredibly slow so, if you are not prepared to spend an hour there whilst having 1 coffee and a cake then go elsewhere. If you have the time, and it's not too busy, then either sitting outside or viewing passers by from inside its a good venue. The coffee was ok and the cake selection was ok too.

(Translated by Google) We visited the museum during Museum Night. If I had paid admission, I'd be annoyed now. As it is, it was mostly just a waste of time. Some of the exhibits in the basement are interesting, but everything else is just junk! Some of it is probably meant to be art—I say it can go! There was also a performance by three women dancing with scarves. The other visitors found this strange, too. There was also a joker standing at the entrance who arbitrarily locked visitors' bags and backpacks. My wife's small bag wasn't allowed in, but many other visitors were allowed to bring their large bags in. The other museums in Paderborn have much more to offer. As far as I'm concerned, the building can be demolished; then you'll have a nicer view of the cathedral again! :-)

In any case, this place will be targeted and tried out. There is already a lot of joy and it makes for a lot of fun. (Original) Die gegenüberliegende Minigolfbahn entsteht gerade in neuem Antlitz.

(Translated by Google) Restaurants in a beautiful setting for walking or hiking, good parking, and a nearby playground, forest running trail, and interesting climbing park. You can observe ducks, geese, swans, moorhens, and herons, especially beautiful in spring with their young. These animals also cross Dubelohstraße from time to time...so please drive carefully...

(Translated by Google) We were walking by the fishponds today and wanted some tea and a piece of cake, so we went to the Café Restaurant Zu den Fischteiche. What we were served, however, wasn't even worthy of a bakery with a stand-up café. 100ml of hot water with a teapot, peppermint tea bags, and a sachet of sugar for €3.20. A slice of traybaked apple pie garnished with unwanted chocolate sauce cost €4.10. If we had at least been asked when paying if everything was okay, I would have given this review a 2-star rating. This was the first and last time for us, with such completely exorbitant prices in relation to the quantity and quality, and the lack of concern for customer satisfaction.
