Goslar in 3 days

If you only have 3 days to spend in Goslar, we’ve narrowed down the top places you should check out to get the best experience of your time here.
Goslar is a remarkably well‑preserved medieval town, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its half-timbered houses, narrow lanes, and historic market square. The imposing Imperial Palace (Kaiserpfalz) and many Romanesque churches reflect its past as an important seat of German emperors. Just outside town, the former Rammelsberg ore mine—also UNESCO-listed—offers insight into over 1,000 years of mining history. Goslar is also a convenient gateway to the Harz Mountains, with nearby hiking trails, scenic viewpoints, and seasonal events such as a popular Christmas market.
With favorites like OLYMPIA bei Niko und Ruben, Zinnfiguren-Museum Goslar, and Ali Baba, we’ll make sure you don’t miss out on all the must sees. We even included some of our favorite food spots around the area, like Tim's 5 Tageszeiten and Paulaner Wirtshaus an der Lohmühle so you can get the best taste of Goslar while you’re here. To see our full list of food recommendations, check out our best restaurants post. If you're traveling on a budget, you can check out our cheap eats post.

Market Square in Goslar is a charming and historic town square surrounded by well-preserved buildings, creating a folksy atmosphere. At the heart of the Old Town, the Market Fountain stands as a testament to centuries of history, with its lower bronze basin dating back to the 12th century. The square also features notable landmarks such as the Gothic town hall from the 15th century and the impressive Huldigungssaal.
Absolutely loved this square and the associated atmosphere. Gorgeous buildings and the glockenspiel at 9am is quite cute and entertaining. This town is gorgeous and is an absolute must if in the area.

Goslar is lovely, and this square is a superb example of traditional German townscape. We enjoyed walking around and exploring the wonderful architecture. What a lovely place.

Visited on Walpurgis night and greatly enjoyed the atmosphere, food, cheap beer & entertainment. Beautiful little square where the clock of the Treasure Building has the Glockenspiel- moving figurines with music that tells the story of the Rammelsberg mining industry.
D M — Google review
It's an old market square in Goslar, surrounded by old and impressive buildings, some of which are clad in ornate slatework. There are several cafes and food outlets in the square and nearby, and I'd guess that it gets very busy at times. A good place to take a break, before moving on.

Beautiful authentic German village. Buildings are old but architecturally amazing. You can walk around the narrow paths and observe the true German village culture.

A town that has been true to the History of Germany. I has been preserved in the age old fashioned and should be visited should you wish to see how Germany centuries ago used to look. During the winter is an amazing Winter Market that is truly warm and inviting even when the weather is not. There is a mine close to Goslar that is a few centuries old that offers tours into the depths of the mountains for those brave enough to go underground. There are many shops, restaurants and hotels so plan to spend some time in this beautiful little town for a truly German experience.

Shopping
KaiserPassage is a well-lit retail center featuring a wide range of stores, including popular fashion brands and grocery options, along with eateries. Despite its smaller size compared to other malls, the mall offers diverse shopping opportunities with all the necessary shops typically found in larger establishments. Upon entering, visitors will notice a charming bistro at the entrance and an underground Edeka center.

First thing you notice is the small size of the place in comparison to other "normal-sized" malls, however this doesn't dicrease the diversity of the offer, the place has all the required shops in a mall, a DM, some clothes' stores, a cute tiny Bistro in the entrance, and an Edeka center in the underground.

Restaurant

Cafe
Located in the historic Altstadt on the Marktplatz, Die Butterhanne is a no-frills tavern offering a wide range of traditional Saxon dishes. The old-world charm and streetside tables create a cozy atmosphere for enjoying regional specialties like Harzer wild game and homemade cakes and pies. Visitors can also savor local Gose beer brewed by Brauhaus Goslar next door.
Die Butterhanne, located in Goslar’s historic market square, is renowned for its traditional Harz region cuisine and warm hospitality. Diners can enjoy hearty dishes such as the flavorful meat roll with pickle and the rich deer meat goulash. The blueberry schnitzel offers a unique twist, and the generous desserts are perfect for sharing. Complementing the meals is a selection of quality beers, all served by friendly and attentive staff, ensuring a memorable dining experience. The restaurant’s name, “Die Butterhanne,” pays homage to a legendary figure from Goslar’s folklore. The “Butterhanne” is depicted in the intricate wood carvings of the Brusttuch, a historic building constructed between 1521 and 1526. This carving portrays a maid churning butter with one hand while mischievously lifting her skirt with the other, a gesture believed to mock the devil, symbolizing defiance and humor. Established in 1870, the Brusttuch has operated as a hotel and restaurant, offering guests a medieval ambiance enriched by its unique decor. Today, Die Butterhanne continues this tradition, providing visitors with an authentic taste of Goslar’s culinary and cultural heritage.

Amazing food and staff were very friendly and welcoming. I had the rouladen which was fantastic and so filling! Many people sitting outside in the sun but we chose to be indoors as it was quite hot in the sun for us Aussies! Lovely place and highly recommend.

Stopped in the charming German town of Goslar for a quick break on the drive back to the UK. My meal at Die Butterhanne started with a delightful bowl of Pfifferlingcremesuppe - chanterelle cream soup with fresh chanterelles and a side of baguette. A warming, earthy dish that perfectly set the tone for the journey ahead! The second course was wild boar sausages, served with hearty fried potatoes. The rich, savoury sausages paired beautifully with the crispy potatoes, making for a satisfying and memorable stop.

Lovely atmosphere but mediocre service. Right in the center. The worst part was having a piece of meat on top of my vegetarian flammkuchen which annoyed me so much. One of the waiters apologized for it but this unfortunately does not make up for it. I would not recommend this place to a vegan or vegetarian person. Besides, the options are very limited for them. It is also overpriced for the taste.

(Translated by Google) We found the cinema very enjoyable and I think it is a very good alternative to explaining to the children how mining actually began in the Middle Ages. The effort that went into the decoration and the first area was also very nice. However, you somehow expect a little more from 8D in the actual performance. We also found the wind to be too cold.

(Translated by Google) We went to the 8D cinema today with four children and three adults, and everyone had a great time. We had a few questions beforehand, all of which were answered very kindly over the phone. The staff member who guided us through the program on site was also super nice and very helpful. It may be quite unassuming from the outside, but inside you'll notice the attention to detail. We can wholeheartedly recommend it.

The Zinnfiguren-Museum Goslar is a unique museum located in an old mill, showcasing the rich architectural and social history of the region. It boasts a renowned collection of over 10,000 hand-painted tin figures and dioramas, offering insight into the cultural history of tin figure making spanning over 1000 years. The museum features 30 captivating dioramas depicting fairy tales that appeal to visitors of all ages.
I was pleasantly surprised! The artistic work is excellent, and the English audio tour is very helpful and clear! Bring your own earphones, because they don't have them (otherwise you have to hold the audio device to your ear). You can make your own figurine, which is also very fun for kids (parties). The interactive pieces on display are great to look at and experience. Price: 4 euro P.P. Toilet: Ask the staff. The toilet is in the Goslar Museum across the Tim Museum

It is a popular meeting place at any time of day due to its relaxed atmosphere, excellent breakfast, specialty coffees, stylish snacks, delicious dishes, and legendary cocktail evenings. Situated just 200m from the market square, this modern and friendly brasserie caters to guests of all ages.
We went there with a big group of 13 people without reservation on a Monday and we all got a seat. We ordered burgers, steak and schnitzel. Everyone was happy with their food and it came almost at the same time. There is free mayo ketchup and BBQ sauce which is neat! The portions are okay sized and normal priced. The staff was very friendly and nice Would recommend this place!

Since this would be the third haxen I tried during my prolonged stay in Germany, I’d say I’ve becoming more of umm an ‘haxen-expert’. And in my expertise opinion, this one win so far. It came with a kiddies knoodle with bits of bacon and warm sauerkraut and dark sauces. The knoodle are warm and creamy and chewy but soft. The sauerkraut was really good! It’s sour (or borrowing the influencer term, tangy) and perfect to balance the greasiness of the haxen. The sauce was okay. The haxen is perfectly cooked! Size was perfect, seasoned perfectly, juicy in the middle but crispy outside. The best part ofc the crackling.. it’s crispy and very flavourful. And to be number one in my ‘haxen adventure’ list, ofc it doesn’t have any gamey smell to it. I could only finished half of it and had the half on the to go box. I had it with a delicious cold dunkel which was poured beautifully. The place itself was really pretty. A wooden tavern like place in a small beautiful town that us Goslar. Service was good as well. If it’s not 250km away from where I live, this would prolly be my go to haxen place. But if you’re around Goslar, I def recommend this place!

We ate there today in the afternoon. It's a traditionalplace with lots of classic decorations. And all in an old beautiful house. In the center of goslar. The food is tasty and came pretty fast. The different selection of beer is good too! The Brezel we jad before was nice hot ams crunchy. The staff is nice, spoke good English and was always friendly. The prices are decent too. Not too expensive for the amount and quality you get. Defiantly recommended everyone who visits germany or Goslar specifically to visit this restaurant and eat traditional german food! 👍

Brauhaus Goslar is a traditional brewery housed in a half-timbered building with a cozy medieval interior. Dating back to 995 AD, it is one of Germany's oldest breweries, located next to Die Butterhanne on the market square. Visitors can enjoy Goslars original beer while dining on classic hearty local cuisine.
Very nice setting with good beer and good food. Ordered a pork schnitzel and with some extra beer sauce (incredible sauce) it tasted amazing. The gose is a must try, very mild and not a sour beer like it is in Leipzig (which is also tasty).

There were many guests who came after us and somehow they could get their food much faster than us. In the end waiter dare to explain us it’s because food is being made with “fresh ingredients”.

Some of the best Italian food outside of Italy! Make a reservation and enjoy. The bruscetta here is some of the best I've ever eaten! The pasta is also amazing. Lots of seafood choices. Family run business with great service...but when full, meals can take quite some time to come out. We were there from 7.30pm and didn't eat mains until after 9.30pm. Still a great night, but not for a quick meal. Bravo 👏👏👏

The Imperial Palace of Goslar is a remarkable 11th-century royal complex that served as the residence for German emperors during the Holy Roman Empire. This Romanesque-style palace is one of Germany's largest and best-preserved secular buildings from that era, earning UNESCO World Heritage status. Despite centuries of disrepair, it was reconstructed in 1879 and remains an impressive structure.

The Imperial Palace of Goslar is a remarkable medieval site with a rich history dating back to the 11th century. Inside, the museum showcases artifacts that highlight the Holy Roman Empire’s influence. The Royal Chamber stands out with its beautiful frescoes and impressive medieval décor. I really enjoyed it. We got the audio guides which helped explain a lot. I really liked all the imperial art and the explanations behind the depictions. I have never been very good at art history and the symbolism and all of that and the audio guide explanation was very helpful.

Museum und Ferienwohnungen Burg im Zwinger is a historic museum located in Goslar, Germany. It was established in 1908 to showcase the rich cultural heritage of the region. Housed in a 25-meter-tall defense tower from 1517, the museum offers exhibits of weapons and armor from the Middle Ages, including swords, bows, and crossbows used by soldiers for war and hunting.
Beatifull and really good explainations about the tower itself

This very impressive tower from 1517, a part of the city wall that you cannot miss, houses a museum and a number of holiday homes. The tower is 20 meters high and has walls that are six meters thick. Given its location, in a park on the edge of the old town, a pleasant place to stay.

Christmas market
Goslar Altstadt, located in the Harz Mountains, offers a magical and mystical experience with its well-preserved medieval architecture. The old town reflects the city's prosperous past, particularly during the 15th and 16th centuries when the Rammelsberg mine brought wealth to merchants. Visitors can explore historic sites such as the old mint building on Munzstrasse and Kemenate Rover cultural centre on Frankenberger Strasse, both dating back to this era.
A beautiful town that is highly recommended for a visit.

Points of Interest & Landmarks
Situated in the northeastern part of medieval Goslar, stands "das Breite Tor", a remarkable remnant of the late medieval fortifications. This grand and imposing city gate was both significant and well-fortified, serving as the main gateway to Braunschweig during times of war between Goslar and its neighboring city. The fortified structure included a double gate with accompanying barracks.
We headed over to Goslar after learning of a celebration that was going on with live entertainment. Goslar is a town in Germany's Harz Mountains. It's known for its medieval old town and half-timbered houses. Market Church St. Cosmas and Damian features 13th-century stained-glass windows. The 11th-century Imperial Palace has historic murals. South, Rammelsberg Mountain is home to silver and copper mines more than 1,000 years old. There is also a museum preserves underground waterwheels and a mine railway, which we will check to next time we visit the town. Just like Bad Hazburg the town is quite intimate, the shops and restaurants are situated in one central location, there are several very good restaurants and pubs in town, the shops are very unique and worth checking out. There is a very large and entertaining clock in the middle of town, it beats the typical "cuckoo cuckoo clock" any day. Although the architecture itself is enough of a reason to venture through even the residential area of town, there are many things to see when visiting Goslar. This is a great town with a lot to offer, you won't be disappointed you stopped in for a visit. Cheers!

The building might look small from a distance but is huge standing next to it. Especially the thickness of the walls is impressive. This building truely lets you imagine how it was living here in the middle ages. The gateway is very nice and leads to a beautiful road.

Big, massive, and impressive! In the northeast of medieval Goslar stands "das Breite Tor", an unmissable remnant of the late medieval fortifications. This "Breite Tor" was the most important and best fortified city gate of Goslar, because from here the road to Braunschweig (with which Goslar was at war in the late Middle Ages). The fortification consisted of a double gate with a barracks. Of the outer gate only the Rieslingsturm is still standing, of the inner gate the Brieger Turm and the Breite Tor remain, and on the other side of the street is the Wederhof barracks. The ensemble of "das Breite Tor" is definitely one of the most beautiful and impressive city gates from the late Middle Ages. Well worth a visit!

Uniqe place to visit in Goslar. Its a historic place where you can find an old gate from more than a hundred years ago. Just stroll along this area, its not far from Altstadt and you can find many half timbered houses.

The Mönchehaus Museum Goslar - Verein zur Förderung moderner Kunst e. V. is a cultural gem nestled in the historic old town of Goslar, housed in a charming half-timbered farmhouse dating back to 1528.
Tucked away in the pretty medieval town of Goslar, on the edge of the Harz mountains, is this fantastic gallery. Adorning the walls of its three floors, are dedicated works by the cream of contemporary (post-War) artists, brought together by an internationally-esteemed annual prize, the "Kaiserring", paradoxically all the more coveted for not having a big cash value. The honour of being awarded the famous ring, specially made on each occasion out of gold and aquamarine, is enough. There are works outside, too, including a room in a rough outbuilding of wood and stone, containing a memorably haunting piece by one of the winners, Anselm Kiefer. A captivating and rewarding place to visit.
Christopher T — Google review
Pleasantly surprised by Mönchehaus Museum Goslar. Inside the very traditional city of Goslar the only and yet nice place for contemporary art. Encountered Ansel Kiefer’s work how I like it best, side specific, in a dark intense somewhat creepy basement of a side-building. These 3 installations alone are worth the visit.

Okertalsperre is a man-made dam and lake surrounded by picturesque hiking trails through beech forests. Visitors can enjoy boating and swimming in the artificial lake while taking in the natural beauty of the area. The site offers free parking and a kiosk for snacks and ice cream. While some parts of the area may be overgrown, there are still plenty of nature-rich walking paths to explore away from the water's edge.
Hi all 👋🏻 Cool place, beautiful nature, incredible dam, about 50 metres drop (if I remember correctly) - impressive. There are trails for not difficult and not long hiking to see from the heights. Overall romantic at sunset.
Мария Б — Google review
Nice for a quick stop. Free parking. Nice to walk over the dam. Quite a difference in height on both sides. Weird that there's a pretty nice building on site which looks like once was a restaurant of some kind and now it's closed and they've placed food trucks and portable toilets in front of it. Why not make (re)use of what's already there? Little trail going down was completely overgrown and inaccessible.

Pretty nice trail, pity that a big part of it goes past the highway, but there are some pleasant spots near the water for a little sit down. It's really a walk rather than a hike. We did the whole trail at a leisurely pace with a kid, small baby and a small dog in about two hours, with a break in the middle to enjoy the scenery.

The place is nice, not so romantic but good for a calm dinner. They took really long for our food (one hour). We complain about it and one of the waitress was super disrespectful to me and my wife, in the other hand the other waitress apologized for the problem and also they compensated us with free desserts. The food is not bad, is pretty good and well presented. I would give the place another chance, at the end the food is good.
Nicolas M — Google review
Unfortunately, I had a very poor experience at the restaurant. Very long waiting time, 25 mins just to place an order. Waiters unpolite and even disrespectful. I witnessed a lady trying to get the drinks she had ordered 40 min earlier and the waiter couldn't care less about her complaints, she left frustrated and so did I. Luckily there are other Cafes in the same square with far better service. Will never come back.

The staff at OLYMPIA bei Niko und Ruben was extremely amiable, and the cuisine they served was incredibly delectable. The portions provided were quite generous, accompanied by a delightful sauce. Gustav Adolf Stave Church, located in the old spa resort of Hahnenklee, is a remarkable medieval-style wooden church dating back to 1908. This Nordic-style stave church was constructed from spruce trunks and boasts elaborate carvings, an impressive organ, and a unique four-octave carillon. The interior is as magnificent as its breathtaking exterior, offering visitors a peaceful and beautiful place to explore.
Really unusual to see one of these outside of Norway. Built on the Norwegian style, it's well worth a visit to admire the craftsmanship, and you won't see another unless you go to Norway. It only cost euros to get in, and that's well worth it too. Take your time inside, and soak up the atmosphere...

The World Heritage Rammelsberg ore mines, located in Goslar, is a significant attraction with a history dating back over 1000 years. The site was declared a UNESCO World Heritage in 1992. Visitors can explore the museum housed within the former silver mine, featuring exhibits on history and geology. Guided tours of the 18th-century shafts offer an immersive experience into the mining industry's past.
I had the train tour and the museum. The tour was just in German, but was done in a majestic way. The train is obviously the focal experience of the tour, but also how the life was underground and the tools used is explained wonderfully (also without knowing the language:)). The museum is in 3 buildings, the storage with the history is the main part, and the other 2 is more about the real machines. They all have English explanations.
Marco G — Google review
I took the train/ mine option and greatly enjoyed the ride and temperature change (it was hot outside). Although the tour was in German I was able to infer as it is a very visual and interactive tour. The tour guide was really good. Hard to believe what these workers had to go through to earn a living. Free parking nearby. Great tour,
D M — Google review
An amazing experience I would highly recommend! It's rare to get to walk in the shoes and take the same mine train the miners took back in the day, deep into the depths of this mine and UNESCO World Heritage site. The rest of the museum and exhibitions are also interesting but the mine rail tour is a must!
Aaron R — Google review
Exiting tour of the mines. Good museum part, but unfortunately most of it is in German.
Søren A — Google review
Very impressive! It was for me the first time to visit a mine like this, it feels you go back in time! The groups weren't that big, so you could see a lot of the mine. It was quite cold, so wear warm clothes. The train underground was an amazing experience!
Maud L — Google review
Very deceiving for such an emblematic place. It is still a quite impressive place full of history which is nice to see. I expected more... First of all, there is no tour in English. For a UNESCO world heritage site, you will expect at least one tour in English. For the museum part, it is interesting but everything is disorganised and it is not appealing. Some parts are only in German. I hope one day, this place would be made more accessible for non-german speakers.
___ A — Google review
Recommend booking in advance for English tours.
Colin L — Google review
I recently visited the Rammelsberg Ore Mines with my husband and had an incredible experience. We took the guided tour in English, called the Röder Stollen, led by Mr. Christian Etzrodt. He was super friendly and humorous, making the entire journey interesting and engaging. I really appreciate him going out of the way to add fun to the tour. It was an amazing and adventurous experience, and I highly recommend his tour. The reception staff were also very friendly and helpful (she helped us choose the appropriate tour), as was the lovely lady at the shop. Overall, it was a fantastic visit! We really enjoyed the experience. Oh, yes! Make sure to wear appropriate clothing and shoes. You would need to walk a lot and climb steep steps. Would not recommend this tour to people with claustrophobia, nyctophobia, panic disorder, breathing issues, pregnancy, etc. It is colder and dark and might be a bit slippery. P.S. I personally give bonus points for the "Stimmungsring" at the shop, haha

The Goslarer Museum, located in a 1514 monastery, offers a comprehensive collection of art and objects that document the city's history over a millennium. It is an essential stop for those interested in the cultural and sociological history of Harz and Goslar. The museum features exhibits such as a cabinet of curiosities with coins bearing the Goslar mint stamp from the tenth century and artifacts once housed in Goslar Cathedral.
Interesting museum to see the history of Goslar. Lots of artifacts from long ago. Good way to spend some time.

Museum to see in Goslar. There are some highlights like the model of the town and the eagle on the fountain in the market square, but the remains of the old church and the library is interesting. Explanations just in German, a bit confused but at the reception we're very kind and they store my baggage as well:))

Restaurant
Located high above Goslar on the Steinberg mountain, Steinberg Alm Zum Rösner offers fantastic views over the Harz region. The restaurant has an authentic ski hut ambiance and serves up delicious German cuisine, particularly known for its tasty wild game dishes. While some find the food to be a bit pricey, many visitors consider it a must-visit spot after a short hike in the area.
Excellent place for a weekend trip! Great view over Gosslar.

Mediocre food , high prices , long waits , unfriendly service… it could be awesome- but is not . Nonetheless it is a great location.

Good food, nice looking restaurant at a great location. Perfect place to eat after a long hike.

Excellent view of Goslar Town, variety of beverages, food a bit expensive but delicious. A must if you're up for a short hike
Theodora K — Google review
Great atmosphere, I always take visitors here to enjoy the view, but I find the food sub par and the service takes forever, even by German standards. The only thing I can actually recommend is the currywurst, this is a great dish with a fair portion for the price.

Tasty food, great view, wonderful location, but slow service.

Restaurant
Nestled just a short stroll from the bustling market square, Restaurant Worthmühle is a charming gem that captures the essence of Goslar. This delightful eatery offers an authentic taste of German and regional cuisine, featuring an array of wild specialties that are sure to tantalize your palate. One unique highlight is their Gose beer on tap, a traditional brew hailing from Goslar itself.
I love this place, atmosphere is like you would expect from harz, mysterious, full of old furniture and paintings, and cozy, also food was very good and kind service

Lovely decorated restaurant. Food was good and tasty. Some pieces of meat were a little on the dry side, but not a big deal. Drinks, especially softdrinks, are a bit too expensive in my opinion. The Tartufo classic had nuts on it though it was not specified in the menu. All in all can recommand

Wonderful old quirky building. The food is hearty German fare. Service very good.

Cozy atmosphere and food fairly OK(not fantastic) No internet and staff’s children running around the restaurant was not good.

Very traditional. Good specials. Very fast service, so you’re out in half an hour. Schnitzel wasn’t that good but the special was nice. Like the outdoor seating a lot.
Florian W — Google review
A really nice place! It starts with the quirky old house which forces the restaurant owner to divide the space into several levels and cubicles, which creates a cosy atmosphere - one enjoys being here! The food is good traditional German fare, all ingredients are sourced locally. Add the friendly staff and you have a nice dinner experience.

Just arrived 5 past 21:00 and walked all the way from city center and got the message: kitchen closed 5 minutes ago even if restaurant closes 22:00. This is simply bad customer service. We only wanted to pizza for take-away. Unbelieveable way to serve customers...

Restaurant
Restaurant Ratsstuben is a charming eatery located in the heart of Goslar. The restaurant boasts a lovingly decorated interior with original Bavarian-style decor. It offers a delightful dining experience, combining traditional craftsmanship with historic ambiance. Visitors can expect fantastic food, featuring new and modern recipes that deliver wonderful flavors at fair prices.
Don't let yourself be misled by the looks of the exterior - not that it's that bad, but you wouldn't expect this class of food. We were so much surprised by the quality of the food, the creativity of the menu choices offered and the service (even though the waiter had to cover the entire restaurant on his own). We are definitely coming back!

Give this place a chance. Excellent food (meat and fish) and attentive service. Unfortunately, it is on the pricy side for this region. Vegan and vegetarian options on request.

Restaurant
Nestled in the charming Oberstadt of Goslar, Restaurant Bug A Boo is a delightful spot where you can savor refreshing drinks and indulge in traditional German cuisine. Known for its legendary half chickens, this cozy eatery features a rustic interior and an enchanting beer garden surrounding the Greif-Brunnen, making it an inviting place to relax. The menu boasts a variety of dishes including schnitzels, fresh salads, and seasonal specialties available daily from 5 PM onwards.
Great atmosphere, friendly service and good food. The chicken is what many people come here for, and rightfully so. It's a bit salty, but welcomed flavor, especially when you're pairing it with the chicken and not just eating the skin alone. Last time I went I tried the Jaegerschnitzel, and I will say, that was quite disappointing. The schnitzel wasn't quite crispy enough, the sauce was a under seasoned and didn't have much flavour, and the button mushrooms were small and not sliced (albeit plentiful), which took away from the presentation. I needed to add salt to this sauce, which was a strange juxtaposition to the salty chicken. My friend and I got the fries and croquettes for sides, the fries were mediocre, but the croquettes were good. Overall still 5/5 because you can't beat the atmosphere, and when I go back, which I definitely will, I'll just stick to the chicken.

(Translated by Google) Very delicious food. Waiting times are okay – since everything is freshly made, it's more than acceptable. Above all, the taste is worth it. Minor drawbacks include the high noise level, as well as the infrequent arrival at the table when people arrive for drinks – but again, that was simply because the place was extremely busy. Reservations are highly recommended, as the place is more than deserving of its busyness. (Original) Sehr leckeres Essen.

The price/performance ratio is good. However, it was very warm there, and some fresh air would have been nice. We'd happily go back anytime. (Original) Alles prima. Personal super nett.
