This is meant to be a Micheln star resultant I spent 720 euro for two people Food was beautifully presented but ok But for me I found it insulting wjenbstag where wearing running shoes and asked me to pass the plates back to me. First went here on a Friday evening. The food was very good, they do great salads. Service was horrible. It was slow. After taking our drinks order was taken, we were left for more than 15mins before a food order was taken. We then waited more than 20mins for our food. Additionally inconsiderate smokers made sitting outside impossible which was a pity because it was a beautiful evening. We tried again purely because of the food, thus time on a Saturday late afternoon. Our server was attentive and polite. Again, the food was great. We chose salads again which are filling and just so tasty. They also have a wide variety of desserts but we didn't indulge this time around. Would certainly come again but not on a Friday (and probably Saturday) evening. The 2nd visit saved them from 2 stars

The food was quite good and with high-quality ingredients. I like that they put a lot of emphasis on sustainability but prices are still reasonable. Service was a bit slow but kind. The drinks were ok. I also like the interior, it creates a cozy feeling.

We went for a lunch time sitting and I enjoyed a very good Deutsche Haus burger, cooked pink as it should be! The kids menu is nice and simple for the fussy ones and the service was great. We will be going back thats for sure 👍🏻

Nice cozy room in a old historical building, 1 minutes away from the cathedral. Not fancy but everything runs smoothly, so I had a pleasant stay. There were some loud sounds around 5/6am in the morning that woke me up multiple times.

Very nice rooms with a not stylish Interieur but I felt really comfortable. The bed was not perfect but still pretty good, since I had a good rest. The location is possible the best thing about it, being inside the center of Paderborn so you can reach everything by foot and the beautiful view of the Paderquellgebiet. The main courses kofta and the paneer dish was tasty as well. But the breads (rotis) were very thick and didn't taste that good. I was looking for something spicy to help get rid of my cold and I found it. I got the vegetable jalfrezi. I did ask for a little extra spice and it came out perfect. I wouldn't normally eat it that spicy but that is exactly what I was looking for tonight. They had a great chai latte as well. And I tried the Kulfi, pistachio cardamom ice cream. Yum.

During my last business trip in Paderborn, my colleagues and I wanted to try something different than German cuisine so we picked Indian. Goa Curry looks nice from outside, there is a big beer garden. Inside you can feel Indian style - kitschy style :) I was twice in Mumbai so I know how tasty is Indian food. As for starter we were thinking about some samosa but then we found out that you can order a mix - mix starter or grilled starter. It's really worth! You can taste all starters packed together. As for drinks there are German beers of course but many congratz for Indian (or better to say UK...) Kingfisher! For main food we ordered mainly chicken tikka masala, naan and some other food which I don't remember. It was good, it was tasty but it wasn't perfect. I was in some Indian restaurants in Poland as well and it was much closer to true Indian than Goa Curry. Probably for someone who wasn't in India, it won't be even recognized. As I said, food was good, food was tasty. Waiter was very friendly, knew English well. Split payment allowed as well as credit cards (even Revolut). Do I recommend? Of course !

Tacos portion was smaller than we expected. But most of them tasted great. Edit after 4 years; In their menu they just have 2 tacos now. It's not ideal as I find it very hard to choose and get the right one for you. My wife picked 2 that she didn't enjoy that much, at past we could get a selection of 5 smaller ones for a similar price.

After couple of days of eating German cuisine, my friends and I wanted to pick something Mexican. We heard good opinions about El Chingon so one evening we went there. Unfortunately there was no place for us but they have couple of tables outside. We ordered tacos and nachos. For tacos you can pick different amounts of delicious tacos and types e.g. I chose 5 tacos with different fillings. You can pick vege tacos, with seafood, chicken, beef, pork, etc. They are small but so good. Portion of nachos was ordered for one person but could be for groups of 3 as well - so big. We ended our stay with two rounds of tequilla. It's served as it should be, so with limon and salt. The only disadvantage of this place are the seats outside. Constantly someone is passing you because of sidewalk or the noisy bus is passing near your back. No problem to pay with cards. No problem to split the receipt. To sum up, worth to visit, worth to eat, worth to drink !

Found this place only because the other eateries had stopped serving food. What a find! The steaks were perfect and full of flavour, the chips were the best I have tried outside of Yorkshire and the green beans with bacon were simple delicious. Fully recommend this restaurant.

This is around about my 100th time at la pampas and usually it is an amazing experience but for what ever reason this time wasn’t the best. I asked for my steak to be medium rare but it came out more medium-well done. My wife’s chicken wasn’t the best either and the waiter completely forgot 2 of our drinks but still put them onto the end bill. All in all not the best experience compared to how I remember. Hopefully it’s just a 1 off

I ate rib-eye steak. It was nice. Frankenheim altbier was very good. Worst appelstrudel I have ever eaten. Waiters do not know english. Please make sure that they understood you well. Ambience is good. But do not expect too much, you are just getting what you paid.

As an English speaker the server was fantastic and welcoming abling me to browse the menu at ease. My meal was a fillet steak served English (no relation) with peppercorn sauce. I was cutting some of the thinnest slices just to prolong the flavor and experience. Happy with my meal I decided to experiment with a snail starter for dessert, while I'm still not welcoming to them as a food source, the cheese cream sauce they were served I could eat all day.

After 13 years, I finally returned and the food is still good! The gratinated potatoes could be creamier, but the lamb was fantastically cooked. Team were great with the kids and brought their meals earlier which really helped. I would thoroughly recommend but the price may put you off.

This is a very unique Indian 🇮🇳 Restaurant (you can see right through to the kitchen where your food is being prepared) and it Caters for your every need. The staff are very friendly and the food excellent not to forget that the price is very fitting. We will be returning here no doubt about that. Thanks you to the Manager for all his help. UPDATE: Yes the name has changed but the owner and staff are still the same happy crappies, always ready to serve, and the meals are just as good if not better than before.

I recently visited Kurkuma, and as someone from India, I was hoping for authentic flavors. Unfortunately, the dishes were very disappointing — the spices were unbalanced, and the food lacked the depth and freshness that define Indian cuisine. It felt like the cook doesn’t truly know how to prepare Indian dishes, and I believe a change in the kitchen or better knowledge of authentic cooking is needed. I left feeling quite let down, especially since this was my first visit.

Quick, friendly service. Great tandoori dishes, naan (cheese, garlic, tomato) and chutneys. Staff had no problem with a large English-speaking group. Located nearby the Schloss Neuhaus, so it's a great way to end a tour. Would return!

I had real doubts I would find genuine and authentic Indian subcontinent food in Germany but the guys here have it in spades. Great service, great portions, nothing is too much trouble and the food is really tasty, prepared well and timely and is hands down the best Punjabi restaurant I’ve been to in Europe. I would encourage any diners to have the food in it’s true form and not adjusted for a European taste. Please support this business, they deserve it! I look forward to coming back soon.

Visited the Paderborner Brauhaus this evening a fantastic experience. Staff friendly, so accommodating and professional. Me and my work colleague had the Double Currywurst which was perfect. Plentiful and well cooked. Plenty of beers and drinks. Overall a great time was had and will definitely go back again.

We really enjoyed the hospitality and food served here. Our waiter was attentive, polite and really friendly. I can say that if you want to eat inside you need to book/reserve ahead. Otherwise you can sit outside on anything free. The rear space is for drinking only.

I have tried a lot of restaurants in Paderborn, and on my way to another restaurant tonight we decided to give this one a try instead. I only wish that I had found this gem earlier. The staff were amazing, attentive, but not overbearing. The food was amazing. Every single member of our table finished every part of our meal. Best steak I have had in Paderborn hands down. Every member of our group wholeheartedly agreed that this was the best meal we have had in Paderborn. Would 100% recommend. Will come back to Paderborn just to come back to this restaurant.

The waitress told us grab a table inside or outside but when we went to an inside table the manager came and started yelling at us that they had nothing available when we could see open tables. We visited this typical German biergarten just because of the garden itself, set near the river Pader, right in the center of the town, opposite the better in terms of food Deutsches Haus. Beer is ordered at a separate 'haus' in the corner of the garden, and food is ordered to a waiter. Food comes really fast, and is therefore not very good. The food was average at best. I had the bruschetta which came out with soggy bread. The staff were polite and served us pretty quickly. Then we were left without drinks for 25 minutes before someone came over to take another drinks order. We ended up buying more drinks and asking for the bill so we could move on. There were plenty of staff just hovering around the bar area not paying much attention to us with empty glasses. The cocktails were nice but a bit on the expensive side.

Food was average, the plates are far too big for the portion size, it felt lost. Lack of meat in the fajita and the chicken burger looked thrown together. However, the waitress was extremely friendly and attentive. We made up for average food with very good cocktails and happy hour is from 2121.

A must ! Totally recommend it!!! We entered randomly because we searched for something to eat at lunch. We saw the big poster on the door that they have a lunch buffet for aprox. 9€. Inside, a very nice waitress surprised us by telling us that our 2 daughters aged 3 and 5 could eat for free !!! They also received crayons(with sharpener) and a small drawing book!! That is genius!!! Our 2 daughters were so busy during lunch that we could eat in peace !!! The food was delicious, we could serve ourselves multiple times! A bit of food for all tastes (vegetarians and meat eaters) plus a nice desert buffet with fresh fruit included!!! This lunch made my day better!! Dear owner, keep it up!!

This is my go to place for cappuccino and Tiramisu. I would say Tiramisu here takes no.1 position in whole Paderborn. I love the ambience of this place, its bit pricey though. Since it’s located centrally it’s accessible easily. Staffs are well mannered and restaurant is hygienic. I strongly recommend this place.

I once gave this restaurant 5 Stars. We went there regularly, the menu outside was small, we thought it was just the day recommendations, there was nothing that we wanted to eat. however once inside I asked a waitress do they still serve the Paderburger menu, she said they only serve what’s on the menu outside. It is still a great restaurant, if you like the new menu but we preferred the old one. And went elsewhere.

A bit overcooked and too thin. I would have preferred if they made it smaller and thicker. The fries and curly fries tasted the same. Boring texture and off the shelf ketchup and mayonnaise. Still better than your average Wurstelbude, but not what I expect from a burger restaurant. The food is nicely presented, but that's secondary to me. One additional thing that threw me off, was the lemon in my cherry juice. Why would you do that? It tastes awful. Ordering on the tablet worked okay. We still had to call the waiter two times for things that weren't available on the tablet. It also has a standardized feel to it. While you have options with most items, they are limited. Way better than Roadhouse, but for burgers I prefer Gaucho. If good but not excellent burgers in a great atmosphere is what you are after, Lockvogel is a great location for you.

On that Tuesday night, when I ate here in a group of five, we would have had a few more rounds of drink if we had been asked occasionally.

As an American in Germany, I was looking for something closer to what I'm used to. The fries and onion rings were delicious, the burgers were just ok. I don't recommend the very mushy veggie burger, especially with the par baked oregano bun. Also they don't take credit cards.

Loved the preparation and the food was tasty and hot. We told them to make it spicy and it was proper spicy and not just chilli spicy. The ambience is romantic and friendly service. I miss the set lunch menu, I think they stop doing it now as the opening hours starts from 4 o'clock in the afternoon. I tried Maki Maki (which is owned by Edoki and just down the street from them) it didn't wow me, but that's just my opinion.

We called in advance and let the staff know we have a small child and guest in a wheelchair. The staff were helpful, friendly and accommodating. Food was terrific and well worth the drive from Detmold. A good atmosphere and toilets were clean. We will definitely be coming back again.

So visited this place with a friend and tried Pastas here. And I really loved it. Pasta Portions are good. Tried White wine and it was good too. Service was prompt. They have indoor and outdoor sittings - we decided to sit outside so cannot say more about indoor ambience. Pricewise it is okay as well. and ordered Tiramisu - it was nice as well.

Look, when we stumbled across this diner on our road trip today, as an American, I was SO excited! I ordered cheese sticks and the hot brownie (we were kind of in a hurry). My family had chocolate cake and cappuccinos. The cheese sticks were pretty close to what I always had in America. But the brownie and chocolate cake were straight out of the freezer. Atmosphere is exciting. I can't speak about the burgers or review them, but this was kind of a bummer. Homemade brownies would really have been something special!

Great atmosphere, amazing staff, carbonara sauce not quite sticky enough to hold the meat.

Hans im Glück in Paderborn offers satisfying burgers and fries, though they may not claim the title of the best. The service, while friendly, leans toward the slower side. Our waitress was amiable, yet subtle attention to something that i am shy to say that could enhance the overall dining experience.

Quite a lot of options regarding the bread, patty and side dishes. Basically you can choose everything. The burgers are acceptable, the sauces that are served are the saviour. The vibe is beautiful!!! The restaurant is pretty much on the expensive side as the quality is good.

Nice place with green gardens and pedestrian area in front, also nice decoration feeling like in a forest. The burgers and fries are good even if a bit too much fat sauce and fries very salted. Prices are reasonable except for the water, 3,5€ for 25cls of still water (14€ a liter !!!) which is really too expensive.

The burgers taste pretty good, and there’s a good selection of vegetarian and vegan options. However, the prices are on the higher side. A single burger isn’t enough to fill you up, and it’s disappointing that fries aren’t included with the burger. Overall, it was okay !

The only place which a lot of vegetarian and vegan options. Delicious burgers, great cocktails. I absolutely love the sweet potato fries. Friendly staff. Cozy place with nice ambiance. Love the dessert too... Just the right amount of sweet with balanced flavours :) My nth visit to this place. Love everything about it. Lunch menu is great. Highly recommend!

I’m gluten free and lactose free person… Ordered burger which was supposed to be gluten free - I got just meat without even bun 🤣 For such a price you could make gluten free buns, it’s not that hard. Also I don’t know about the sauces but got after like one hour stomache ache, so I guess there was somewhere lactose. Big disappointment. The stuff was also asking too many times if the food is good or not, would love to eat in peace and not being disturbed all the time. Floor and tables dirty. The fries were okay. My husband didn’t like the burger either. The overall decor of the place is interesting.

Okay place, i would not recommend it, the food is the best you get in Paderborn. I have tasted better food elsewhere. The place is dirty and the toilets are not clean. The service was okay but still not good enough.

This is probably the best Döner place in Paderborn. The meat tastes amazing and fresh! The fries is still crispy and already have it’s own taste as they put some powder on the fries. Salad also tasted fresh. Adding the sauces of your choice on top makes it complete. The portion is very generous with only a price of 6€

The ambience is good. Personally feel this is the best döner in town! Great value for money. The quantity is more than enough for one heavy meal. Various high quality drinks are also offered. Great location. Usually open till late nights during weekends and holidays! Friendly staff.

Disorganised service, sugary souces, and nothing special at all. The only good thing is the central location but there are much better places around.

Parking ok, service ok, very large venue (although only half a dozen tables occupied), food was plentiful and you wouldn't starve but not the tastiest, in fact quite bland. Would I go there again? Food is amazing. Much better tasting than any other in the area. And you certainly pay for the extra quality too 😅 English language isn't great but good enough. if you're willing to try German even better !

We waited 45 minutes before we were served our food. The restaurant was not full, therefore the disappointment. Staff were friendly. Food is great, but the waiting time was excruciating especially when you are hungry. Will not recommend this restaurant unless you have a lot of time on your hands.

Nice place although if in a large party you will have to wait food lovely although mine was like warm but the place was very busy on a Saturday in the week it might be different

Sehr gutes und authentisches thailändisches Essen. Unbedingt Tisch reservieren. Authentic Thai food. Friendly staff, small but delicious menu, simply a must if you enjoy Thai food. Remember to book a table on the weekends.

They cook with MSG, which is an absolute abomination. And if that weren't bad enough, their Thai food is also kinda "germanised", so it doesn't taste true to its origins anymore: My curry wasn't curry at all but rather a watery soup.

The food was great. We ordered 'Mix Grill Plate', which was quite a filling volume. I wish the steak had a sauce, that'd have been perfect. The price was reasonable. It comes with a bowl of soup, a bowl of salad, steak and pommes. Good deal!!!! I recommend the salad buffet. They were so yummy! The desert was also delicious! The staff was extremely friendly, nice, and helpful! The setting was cosy and beautiful. Comfy chairs. Really good place to eat!

It pains me to give this place 3 stars. But I suppose I came out not hungry .. Firstly. They got my 2 yr old sons order wrong. Brought him out the children's steak. He's 2 !! Why would he eat a steak .. that was barely cooked. Their attitude was shocking for an expensive steak house. My food tasted like the reptile section of a zoo. And smelled like it. Didn't offer any apology or discount for clearly an unhappy meal out. #brokethebankforshit

I love this beautiful place and delicious stakes. I tried from day menu number 7 and from normal menu mix grill teller and number 7 was amazing. For each food you get free soup, mix salat ans dessert.

Unbelievable food and service. I've had some superb steaks in restaurants all around Europe but nothing to compare with the Argentinian steaks in this restaurant. Superb.

It's a self-service restaurant. You order your drinks and bring them to your table, you order your food and get an "alarm" when it's ready and you fetch it yourself, along with the knives and forks. The food is ok, nothing special, it's not restaurant quality. After you've finished you clear your table. Not the best dining experience, won't rush back.

A great local alternative to the usual fast food restaurants, all of the food is cooked fresh and to order. The lady was very kind and weathered my child like German language skills. The only let down out of 6 meals was a slightly over cooked burger, everything else was good.

A tasteful menu which tastes extremely nice, and the price and quantity of the food is fitting. The staff are polite and very attentive. Definitely a place that we will be revisiting.

Nice restaurant with a great selection of dishes available. Choose your food from the menu then pay at the desk. This is good for those who want to get on their way after eating without waiting on staff to give you the bill. Located just off of the B64 and very close to the Südsee and waterski lakes. More than enough parking. Recommended if your looking for a restaurant in that area.

Wow !! Huge portions I had the ribs and had to share them !! Again very friendly staff so polite highly recommended just beware huge portions !!! They do children's meals and cater for vegetarian as well a worthwhile visit !!!

Burgers, Ribs, Chicken and the good old German Haxe, just a few of the delights at this Great location. As Autumn and Winter approaches pop in and try the Deer medallions, not your taste then try steaks, salads,coleslaw. Best time to visit is Monday to Friday lunchtime. Friday and Saturday evenings tend to be fully booked out. Bar available but as with most things Covid these days sitting at the bar having a drink ,not recommended. If you need a change from Brattie and Pommes, gives this place a whirl you might even be surprised.

Haci Baba is a restaurant with Turkish cuisine in Paderborn, Germany. The restaurant is suitable for families, friends and couples. The menu has many dishes, priced from 5€ - 12€. Beer from 3€- 5€ for a glass. The grilled meat at the Haci Baba is delicious and soft. Drinking yogurt is also quite good for our meals. After ordering, the food is available about 10-15 minutes. Our dinner for 5 people around 100€. That’s great. If the waiters were friendlier, it would add more points to the restaurant. Thank you so much!

The food is so tasty and yummy and also the quantity is great! Took me straight to Turkey!!! Everything is super fresh, including the bread and salad and appetizing. Must visit!

Very bad service, we called 3 times to reserve a place but when we went there they had no place and they said we had to wait 30 minutes even tho we called in the morning and we went around 8 in the night and they were so rude to us saying that we reserved in a bad time. And the waitress/waitresses were judging us alot and we were just standing and they said us to move even tho there was so much space to cross and they were shouting at us like we were there enemies or something. I don't recommend anyone to go there, you will get really mistreated and they bring the food really late or they will get your order wrong or most of the times they bring the food cold as if they toke it out of the fridge and served it to you. And when we called they didn't even take reservation name and they said we will know but when we went they didn't believe that we reserved and they kept on asking and asking even tho we said that we called in the morning and want our seat bur they still suspected. Never going there again.

I have been in their restaurant couple of times and was happy. This time I tried ordering food to home. Just called their number from google. They picked up the phone right away and everything was easy. In 30 mins, food was home, well packed. The food i ordered were Döner Überbacken and brocolli Auflauf. First of all, Döner Überbacken was tasty like every time, but there was a burnt/smoke flavour (which is not in usual case). Brocolli Auflauf was average, there were more tomatoes than broccoli 😂. In short, being a non vegetarian i would like to visit here again as the food is tasty and cheap. For vegetarian, there is falafel which is just ok, Auflauf's and Pizza (i haven't tried this). NB: no card payments here (also for delivery)

First visit. The ordered lamb tasted like sheep. The Food poisoning a few hours afterwards as well as the sleepless Night was complementary. Never again.

I just love the way they served me so I am inviting all my Community to visit such a beautiful and friendly Rasturant. The food is also delicious I wish I could give more then 5 stars
