Restaurant
Pizzeria Antula, located in town center, is highly recommended for its top-notch pizzas and budget-friendly meals. This restaurant offers a variety of traditional and Croatian options, including pizzas topped with shrimps or kulen salami. The pizzas here have a fully Italian and homemade taste that is simply outstanding. In addition to their excellent pizza, Pizzeria Antula also serves delicious carbonara with an exceptional flavor.
A very nice pizzeria with funny paintings. Pizza is very good (although the mexican wasn't hot, but that's not an issue, just a remark - if you want it to be hot, you can ask for some hot sauce beforehand!), staff is nice. Of course card payments are accepted. Recommended

Fantastic Pizza and Warm Atmosphere at Pizzeria Antula During our stay in Omiš, we discovered Pizzeria Antula and were pleasantly surprised by the entire experience. The location in the heart of the old town adds charm, and the cozy outdoor seating creates a relaxed, inviting vibe. The pizzas were outstanding — thin, crispy crust with fresh, high-quality ingredients and generous toppings. We especially recommend the Antula Special and the vegetarian option, both full of flavor. Service was fast and incredibly friendly. The staff made us feel welcome and even gave us great tips about the area. Prices were very reasonable, considering the portion sizes and quality. This pizzeria offers not only great food but also a genuinely pleasant dining experience. Whether you're passing through Omiš or staying for a few days, Pizzeria Antula is a must-visit spot for pizza lovers. We will definitely return on our next trip!

You scored big by snagging terrace seats at that bustling pizzeria! It's clear why the place is so popular, given its prime spot on a lively pedestrian street. Various choice of local draft beers tasted really amazing. And with pizzas that looked as good as they tasted, it sounds like this spot definitely lives up to its Google rating.

Food was incredible and very very quick! My family enjoyed some pizza, pasta, and salad and everything was great. The waiter was very fast and friendly. The bolognese pasta was delicious and so flavorful. The margarita pizza was a like cheese pizza and very rich in flavor. An excellent Italian restaurant — probably the best in Omiš, without exaggeration. The portions are large, and the food is served quickly. Friendly service. Payment by card or cash. Highly recommended!
Life G — Google review
The pizzas were tasty, but unfortunately not hot at all when served. By the time I got to the last slice, it was already quite cold. I’m not sure what the reason was, but despite that, the flavor was really good. The atmosphere and surroundings of the place are wonderful – sitting by stone walls in a narrow street feels like a true Croatian pizzeria experience. Not the best pizza of my life, but definitely worth a visit.
Pál S — Google review
Very good pizza, good prices! The inside of the restaurant is really hot at summer, even when the air conditioner was on. I can only recommend this place for someone who wants a quality pizza!

We had to wait for a table a bit but it was worth it. I recommend calzone prosciutto and aperol spritz. Drinks are in good price. Service boxed it for us at the end. Really kind people.

Zipline Croatia in Omis offers a thrilling experience with breathtaking views of canyons and rivers. The professional guides ensure safety and provide clear instructions, making it suitable for all ages and first-timers. The well-maintained equipment and top-notch safety measures contribute to an unforgettable adventure. Participants praise the friendly and empathetic guides who make the experience enjoyable for everyone, even those apprehensive about heights.
An amazing and exhilarating experience with breathtaking views of the surrounding scenery. The staff were friendly and helpful, and some training was given beforehand to learn to break. Each line was explained so you knew the speed and breaking requirements. We were even permitted to go tandem on some of them. Would absolutely recommend this activity!

Great experience, well worth the money. We went for the 5pm tour with three people including my 72-year old mother who has a fear of heights. Booked it via Tripadvisor. Our group altogether was 20 people or so but we had 4 guides (it seems this is unusual and normal group sizes are smaller). There's a short (maybe 10min) walk up to a little introduction station and then the first zipline. It's rocky but totally manageable even for my mum. On the first zipline my mum went with a guide which was very helpful. After that she had no issue doing all the other ziplines by herself. Great views and a really nice experience!

Absolutely amazing experience, Best 3hrs Hiking and Ziplining on 8 different ziplines, English speaking guides are very friendly and helpful, take you through safety, putting on the equipment and the training line. Then off up the mountain to the first Zipline, the longest and the fastest. Stunning views all the way especially when going across the gorge over the river. We turned up on the day but booking online preferably during busier months. Parked in their carpark just up past their office. Toilet available at office too. Very Highly Recommend for the adrenaline rush.

This was the highlight of our week in Croatia. Very friendly, professional and helpful staff made this an unforgettable experience. And we are certainly no adrenaline junkies, a normal family with teenage sons. Beautiful views, really recommend this!

The best adventure I have had! Definitely worth doing it! The crew were so great and helped everyone who needed it, even going tandem for a young lady who ended up loving it. I would highly recommend this trip!! Exhilarating rush. Zipping over canyons & river was Such a rush!!

A fantastic family experience in Omis! If you are looking for something different to do on holiday with spectacular views, I’d highly recommend this place. The guides (2 per group) are experienced and knowledgeable, they made the whole experience fun! You can go in tandem with the guides if the heights are too much for you. Top tips: take a back pack with snacks and water. Bring a clip on camera like a go pro) not a must but you’ll capture some beautiful views). Free parking in Omis for customers (dedicated area) so definitely don’t pay for parking.
Dipti P — Google review
Fantastic. Not cheap but worth the money. If anyone can tell me somewhere else in Europe that offers a better all round ziplining experience I would loved to know where. The guides were great, the scenery is sensational and the ziplining itself was varied, exhilarating and fun.
Simon S — Google review
Really good fun. Quite expensive, but in my opinion very much worth the money. The zipline tour takes 2-3 hours as you cross 8 wires. Some walking is required as you cross semi-rough terrain, but not too much. You travel as a group with 2 guides who make sure that everyone is enjoying themselves safely. Young children, typically cross with a guide while older children and adults travel by themselves. Both hands are generally required to operate the braking mechanism, so if you want to film PoV on the wire you will need a hands free camera. Regardless, exciting and spectacular views over the cetina river gorge.

Restaurant
Restoran PULJIZ is a charming family-run restaurant located in the heart of Omis Old Town, offering authentic Dalmatian specialties such as fresh seafood, a variety of meat dishes from the stone grill, and a wide selection of local wines. The restaurant features a main terrace and an intimate rooftop terrace with views overlooking Stjepan Radic Square. Guests can enjoy delicious meals accompanied by friendly service and are often impressed by the generous portion sizes.
A beautiful restaurant with fantastic food, friendly, smiling, and extremely helpful staff, who always found us a table even without a reservation. The most beautiful part was the upper terrace. The food was fantastic, from seafood, čevapčiči, seafood risotto, to pizza. We visited several times and always had an amazing meal. Card payment is accepted. Excellent !

When we first showed up they asked where we were from and hade a huge menu with different language options which was sick. Me and my freind ordered pizzas and they slapped, they were so good. At the end whenever went to pay they gave us a free shot of a yellow liquor which was amazing (if anyone has a idea of what that is please lmk) the ONLY thing that was off was we went on a Sunday and the church Nextdoor had bell ringing practice or something which was loud😂 but it was super fun and a great place
Bronzeplanet 2 — Google review
Typical Croatian tourist place: all the meats taste the same, you get greasy French fries for all the dishes, prices range 25-40. You get the same refrigirated/frozen fish as in the local supermarkets (3 eur per 300g dorada), but for 30 euros or more. Not worth it. Wait time was long, waiting for the bill took even longer, place is super crowded in the evening and VERY noisy. Expect people close to you smoke cigarettes. All average rankings of Croatian restaurants on google platform must be lowered by 1 star if you come from any country with great food culture (minus 2 stars if you are from Japan :)), then you will get the idea what to expect.
Dmitri Ž — Google review
The food here was fine, but nothing special — certainly not the kind of meal that leaves a lasting impression. The service was also just okay, polite enough but not particularly engaging or attentive. Overall, it felt like an average restaurant experience. There is nothing terribly wrong with the place, but there’s also nothing that makes it stand out. Considering that in Omiš you can find restaurants offering better food and atmosphere for the same or even lower prices, I wouldn’t put this one high on the list. It’s the kind of spot you could try if you’re hungry and nearby, but it’s definitely not a must-visit.

Very nice atmosphere and a very good food! They also have food for the kids and a very good local wine. I really recommend trying this restaurant.
Beatrix S — Google review
Looking for a place for dinner was tricky as not quite in season yet, and we had vegan friends. After looking at a few menus at various restaurants, my friends compromised with ordering a margarita pizza . I ordered a mushroom soup for a starter, which was fresh and delicious, and for main swordfish. My partner wanted the monkfish, but unfortunately, they were sold out, so I opted for the tempura prawns. Our food arrived, and I was really impressed with the portion and tastiness of mine. My partners dish was also a good plateful and tasted fresh. The pizzas were served and looked immense. Unfortunately, there were a couple of flecks of tuna on one of the pizzas, which really upset my friend to a point she stopped eating and said the trust was not there to eat anymore. This was fed back at the end kindly to be careful with the vegetarian pizza. In the future , the rest was requested to be doggy bagged. Looking back at the situation, it should have been highlighted by us that it was important that it was a veggie made pizza and then fed it back sooner rather than later. I did feel guilty about how I was really enjoying my dish but not my friend. Overall, the food was very good. I just think there was a communication issue in this instance
Penny L — Google review
The restaurant was busy and quite loud when we visited. The staff seemed to be stressed, but remained kind and helpful. The food came fast, though it lacked flavor, and smoking is allowed, which I personally didn’t enjoy. Prices are fair, and it works well as a local everyday restaurant rather than a destination if you're looking for a food experience.

Velika plaža

Public beach
Velika plaža is a stunning sandy strip in Croatia, offering a range of activities such as windsurfing, volleyball, and jet-skiing. The beach is lined with bars and backed by rocky peaks, creating a picturesque setting straight out of a movie. Visitors can enjoy crystal-clear waters for swimming and various rental options for boats and tourist activities. Despite being busy during peak season, the beach offers plenty of space even in August. Additionally, it provides accessibility for people with disabilities.
Nicel beach with a great view in either direction with the mountains in back, the open sea in front as well as the island of Brać in the distance. The beach is highly frequented but you'll manage to find a spot for your liking. There are different types of activities provided by locally owned companies or OPC such as Jet skiing, boat rentals, guided boat tours and so on.

Not a bad beach. A minimum of pebbles and stones. This is perhaps the main feature of this beach. Convenient to approach and close to cafes, restaurants, shops. It is sad that there were no places for changing clothes. We were at the end of April.

Velika Plaža in Omiš is a beautiful sandy beach with a stunning backdrop of mountains and the Cetina River nearby. It offers the perfect mix of nature, relaxation, and fun. The shallow, clear waters make it very safe for kids, and ideal for swimming or just cooling off during hot summer days. There are plenty of beach bars, cafes, and activities like paddleboarding or pedal boats. The atmosphere is vibrant yet laid-back — a great place to enjoy both peace and energy. The view of the nearby cliffs and the old town of Omiš adds something truly special. This beach is also very clean and well-maintained. Whether you're looking to sunbathe, take a relaxing walk, or grab a drink with your feet in the sand, Velika Plaža is a must-visit if you're in the Omiš area. Highly recommended!

They've set up sun loungers and umbrellas on the free beach and don't allow anyone to lie down between them, lying that they're paying rent for it 😅😅😅🥹for a public beach 🏝️ They pay rent. We wanted to rent a catamaran from them, but all desire disappeared. And it's not the season now.

Nice and very quite beach! We parked basically in front of it. Camping isn't allowed, only parking the campervans. Very clear water and the beach is a mixture of sand and little rocks. Very pleasant to sit or walk on.

10 eur per an umbrella plus 20 eur per year of sunbeds ... the sand is not see sand, rather that it is a river sand. Clean, but not that ideal. Additional 1.5eur per hour car parking (June 2025). Different to recommend.

Velika Plaža in Omiš is a spacious sandy beach with shallow water, ideal for families with children. The sand is not the softest, but it’s comfortable enough for walking and playing. The sea is generally clean, though you can sometimes find a bit of seaweed, but nothing disturbing. Its central location makes it very easy to reach, and the atmosphere is lively with cafés and restaurants nearby. Overall, a pleasant beach for a relaxed day by the sea.

We thoroughly enjoyed a delightful 2.5-hour lunch at Konoba Kampanel, where we experienced the pleasant ambiance and were well taken care of by the attentive waitstaff. Despite being accompanied by a summer storm over the Adriatic, we found it to be an enjoyable extended dining experience. As my partner explored nearby shops, I was provided with refreshing cold beers throughout our time there.
Really enjoyed the meal here. We got several dishes all of which were great. they served alongside the food was also top notch.

TL;DR food is extremely bad, don’t go there. Longer version: the food served at this restaurant reminded me of the bad meals we would get at the school canteen. Canned tomato soup, frozen spinach, chewy meat, overcooked rice and soup that is nothing but a broth with a few pasta in it is what we got served. My mother did not even eat her dish: the “meat soup” which was the broth with a few pasta in it. The rest of the group barely ate their food. The waiter asked if something was wrong and so we explained what was bad. A “sorry” was offered, but no discount on the bill and cash only. Otherwise service was good, fast and friendly. The restaurant is strategically located on a cute square.

Wery disappointing place. We come here for coffee and desert. Despote they have it in the menu waitress said that they don't do coffee because "its a restauraunt" and suggested to order a coffee in a place near (gregos). After we ordered a coffee from that place she just denied us to order anything from their menu. Not worth at all. Btw this place located near (gregos) has very delicious desert and tasty coffee. And waitress are very nice.

The best seafood platter we had throughout all our time in Croatia, the tuna steak and sea bass were incredible, the salad was flavoursome and fresh.

Loved our 2 1/2 hour lunch at Konoba Kampanel. The summer storm over the Adriatic had a bit to do with our lengthy stay but it was totally enjoyable. The waiter kept me plied with beautiful cold beers while my partner roamed the shops. When she finally joined me we ordered a delicious Smokey bbq seafood plate of muscles, fish, squid and scampi with awesome spinach and potatoes with butter. There was lashings of delicious local olive oil over the meal. I cleaned up my plate with fantastic fresh bread and olive oil and vinegar. The meal was ample for both of us. It got a little hairy as the storm unleashed on the town but the waiters kept us protected from most of the rain and wind.

Restaurant
Milo is a restaurant that offers a generally satisfactory experience. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere relaxed, making it a pleasant spot for drinks outside. The food is described as basic, with nothing particularly special about the meals ordered. However, some highlights include excellent grilled fish and pork dishes, as well as generous portions of seafood platters. The waiters are polite and attentive, with some speaking multiple languages such as German, Hungarian, and Polish.
If you’re visiting Omiš and looking for a great dining experience, Milo Restaurant is an excellent choice. The restaurant offers a diverse menu with fresh seafood and well-prepared meats, all served in a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. We started our meal with the fish soup, and it was truly impressive. Unlike typical fish soups, this one was packed with large chunks of fresh fish, making it incredibly satisfying. The portion was huge—more than enough for two people. For the main course, we tried the fried calamari, which came in an unbelievably large portion. The calamari was crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and perfectly cooked. We also ordered the beefsteak with mushroom sauce and a sirloin steak. The beefsteak, in particular, stood out—it was juicy, tender, and full of flavor, cooked to perfection. To finish the meal, we wanted to try the tiramisu, but unfortunately, it was unavailable. Instead, we had the banana split, which was a decent dessert but nothing extraordinary. If you’re not a big fan of bananas, you can skip it. One of the best aspects of Milo Restaurant is its fantastic service. The staff is attentive, friendly, and always smiling, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. If you’re in Omiš, this is definitely a place worth visiting!

We couldn't decide where to eat, and the waiter came over and spoke to us. We had his recommended dishes, and they were amazing. Really delicious and fresh. The sea bream was flaky and light, grilled skin was crispy and delicious and the spinach side with potato was really nicely seasoned and complimented it so well. We also had the veal medallions with creamy mushroom sauce, which came with a delicious lemon rice. So good. All that and a large beer and a large bottle of water, for €51. We were sitting outside which was nice and cool, and bustling with tourists and locals, which we enjoyed. The waiter was friendly and complimentary, and as I said his recommendations were spot on - fresh, local fish and veal he said was farmed by his uncle. We would recommend!

This restaurant was an absolute surprise: classic décor, people with an incredible vibe, and a dish that left me speechless. I ordered milanesas with fries and, although here they call it pohana piletina i pomfrit (breaded chicken and fries), the flavor was so authentic it instantly took me back to my roots in Argentina. The chefs truly outdid themselves, and the waiter Borna, with his great energy and attention, made the experience even more special. Definitely a place you can’t miss.

We came for lunch, we ordered two starters and main dishes. The portions were so big that we asked to pack the food with us. And the food was excellent (octopus salad , greek salad, pasta bolognese and rissoto with seafruit) and the staff was very nice. I can recomend this restauration to everyone.

We went in because I saw another guest have a plate with octopus and a whole side dish heated on a tray. And we did the right thing. One whole octopus with a lot of delicious side dishes looked amazing together. I thought I would wait a long time, but in 15 minutes all three of us had our food on the table. My wife had tuna with salad and my daughter had chicken schnitzel with fries. I recommend and thank you for the gourmet experience.

My mother and I had a seafood platter here last week. It was amazing to say the least. The restaurant is set down an old cobbled street in Omis with character buildings around. Staff were very friendly and service was great. There are plenty of options on the menu, not just seafood and the servings are large. Definitely recommend if you are in Omis.

Konoba Restoran Ćaća is a popular dining spot in Omis, Croatia, known for its delicious seafood and Mediterranean cuisine. Situated near the river, it offers a fantastic location with riverside views best enjoyed during the day. The restaurant is praised for its great service and outdoor seating, making it an ideal choice for a delightful seafood dinner accompanied by excellent wine.
Excellent food in a beautiful setting, nestled between the Mediterranean charm of Omiš and the Cetina River. The cozy, homely atmosphere on the summer terrace is enhanced by the refreshing breeze from the river. On the recommendation of the friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous staff, we indulged in a seafood feast, starting with pasta with shrimp in buzara sauce, followed by a seafood grill, with the swordfish steak standing out as particularly exceptional. The entire meal was perfectly complemented by a delightful Chardonnay and a homemade jujube liqueur. Highly recommended!
Balic D — Google review
From the moment we arrived, we were treated with complete disrespect by a chubby waiter who used inappropriate language and even started swearing before serving us. It was incredibly unprofessional and made us immediately uncomfortable. We ordered lamb, but what we got was clearly not lamb – it tasted and looked like old mutton, possibly from an animal that died of natural causes. The meat was tough, dry, and simply inedible. To top it all off, we found a human hair on the bread. When we calmly brought this to the waiter’s attention, instead of apologizing, he blamed us, saying it was our own hair, and became increasingly rude and aggressive. Not a single word of apology was offered – just arrogance and bad attitude. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Unacceptable behavior, disgusting food, and a complete lack of professionalism. Avoid at all costs.
Jasmin K — Google review
The waitress was very kind and helpful. There was a soup that unfortunately did not match the description and we did not like it and they removed it from the receipt. Even after that the service was kind and professional. The second courses were great and the cocktail was very tasty.
Bíborka B — Google review
The food was decent, but nothing that really stood out or impressed us. The service was also fine, polite enough, but not particularly warm or attentive. Overall, the experience was quite average — not bad, but not memorable either. It’s the kind of restaurant where you can have a meal and leave satisfied, but without the feeling that you’ve discovered a special place. If you’re looking for something truly outstanding in Omiš, this probably isn’t it, but as a simple, no-frills dining option it does the job.
Łukasz Ł — Google review
Unfortunately, our experience at this restaurant was disappointing. The lamb served was of poor quality, resembling old mutton rather than tender young meat. When we politely pointed out issues with the food and service, we were met with discomfort and no apology—despite suggesting that a simple acknowledgment would have been appropriate. Additionally, a bottle of wine priced around €30 was brought to our table already opened, which raised concerns about both authenticity and quality. On a positive note, the ambiance of the place is truly beautiful and well worth mentioning. However, the overall experience did not meet our expectations.

Every dish is full of flavor and crafted with care. A true symphony of taste. A sincere recommendation – and we’ll definitely be back.

La Plaza Cocktail Bar is located on a pebbly beach near the harbor, providing stunning views of the Adriatic Sea. Guests can enjoy their drinks on a small terrace or in a seating area on the sand under natural shades of trees. The bar offers a laid-back atmosphere with wooden chairs and straw parasols. Visitors appreciate the reasonable prices, comfortable seating, and friendly staff, making it an ideal spot to relax and enjoy a variety of drinks.
Great beach bar with amazing sea views! Prices are fair and the vibe is super chill. Luka, our waiter, was friendly and quick – everything was perfect!

i rarely write negative reviews, but now i have to. rude waiter boy + bad service + poor cocktails = bad experience. get far away from this place. it could be a good idea to have a cold drink here during the summer, but it is not. trust me, and go to the next beach bar.

Nice beach bar with relaxing beanbag seats outside. Staff were friendly and efficient. Cocktails were good and drinks were served quickly. They do ham and cheese toasties until 7pm and ice creams but that's about it. Will definitely go back.

Best bar on the beach, great seating and lovely views, the drinks are reasonably priced, crepes are very nice , didn't eat here apart from crepes, service can be hit and miss, depending who's working. Young man who works here is very efficient, the girls are more interested on going on there phones than serving people.

Horrible staff. Took forever to get their attention. When they finally took our order they didn't have of the drinks on their menu and the waiter didn't even know what a daquiri was. Finally we got a mojito and it's wasn't even mixed and a very thin taste and 9€ which I think to expensive for what you get. Nothing positive to say so don't bother visiting this place.
Erik S — Google review
Don't go there! They steal your money. We asked for two spritz and in one adding prosecco... The normal price was 7.50 each but because we added Prosecco instead of paying 15 euros total we paid 24! Like if we had 3 cocktails! They just take advantage out of tourists. These kind of people should just be avoided!
Valeria C — Google review
Actually a pretty good bar but the new waiter with the glasses just horrible. Rolled his eyes on us after calling him after 10min of ignoring us completely. Got us the wrong drinks but still took the money for the drink we actually wanted. Wouldn’t recommend going there if the waiter with glasses is there

Day 2

Center of town
For day 2, we recommend exploring the center side of town. Start the day off with Galeb Camp, then wind down and take it easy by the time you get to PAINTBALL KLUB PIRATE OMIŠ. All together, your day would be filled with about 7 hours of non-stop fun.

Campground

Restaurant
Galeb Camp is a hidden gem located in Omis, offering a long sandy beach just a short walk from the camp. The beach features young trees providing shade and the option to rent deck chairs and sun shades. Additionally, there's a saltwater pool at the coffee/fast food bar on the beach. The mobile homes at Galeb Camp offer stunning views of the sea and rocks, with options for larger terraces and fully-equipped kitchens.
Friendly staff at the reception, but not so much in the restaurant. We were impressed by two waiters in the restaurant, I think they were Macedonians, and the others were not very interested in good service. As for coming with children, there is an animation team led by Ivan, who made our children's stay absolutely perfect.
Alex R — Google review
We stayed in mobile homes located in the first row by the sea. The location of the homes gets an 8/10. As for the equipment and amenities of the house itself, there’s not much to say – in the kitchen we didn’t even have the most basic things like salt, pepper, sugar, oil, paper towels… In the bathroom, there were 4 rolls of toilet paper for 6 people over 4 days. If you use them up, you have to buy more yourself. Trash won’t be taken out for you, and your room won’t be cleaned, because apparently that comes at an extra charge, even though 45 euros for cleaning was already included in the price of the accommodation. If you want to take out the trash so your apartment doesn’t smell, you’ll have to drag the garbage bags 300 meters to the dumpster and get new bags yourself… Terrible!! Our apartment cost us 350 euros per night, plus a 45-euro cleaning fee, which we are somehow supposed to pay extra. The same goes for towels and bed linen – if you want fresh ones, you’ll have to pay for that too. If you go to the pool that’s part of the campsite and want to sit on a lounge chair – you’ll have to pay for that as well… Considering the price you’re charging for these apartments – which, let’s be honest, is far from cheap – there should at least be basic necessities provided so guests can enjoy their vacation, instead of being charged for every single thing and treated like a service staff for the camp. Needless to say, we won’t be coming back, because at your camp guests don’t feel welcome, even though they’ve paid a high price for their stay. Your goal clearly isn’t for guests to enjoy their time, but to squeeze as much money out of them as possible. Our overall rating for your camp is 2/10 (and that’s only because of the location of the homes). Otherwise, for the service – we would give 0/10.
Vasko V — Google review
We visited this site without a reservation and were able to easily select a suitable, spacious pitch. We really enjoyed this peaceful campsite. There's a small pool right by the beach that's perfect for a quick dip. While the sanitary facilities were older, they were functional and clean. For those seeking peace and quiet, I highly recommend this site.
Donny Q — Google review
Very disappointing experience We stayed in the cheapest area of the campsite (€67), which is actually used as a parking lot for the surrounding bungalows. We were basically camping among cars. In the morning, we even found broken glass around our tent. The public toilets and showers were very dirty. Terrible value for money. This campsite is best avoided.
Jérémie F — Google review
The camp is pretty nice, altough the beach connected to the camp is really bad, they charge unwordly prices for the loungers, or deckchairs or whatever you call it, and because of that they are always empty, bcs why would anyone pay so much for a seat, also the sea bordered by the buoys is really shallow, like at the buoys you are half of your body in the water.
David J — Google review
Stayed over a week last year in August. Good location directly on sandy beach, local supermarket walking distance, and old town Omis. Imfortunately showers were grotty, water not draining, other people's scum left after them, so used own shower in caravan, since we were on serviced pitch. One day we got back to find somebody parked on our pitch! He said that his son was taking surfing lessons and it's free parking! Funny that he was allowed onto campsite, and parked for free on OUR pitch... pitch that we paid for! Major annoyance .
Natalia — Google review
The camp was okay, but the restaurant is a big NO. They charged me extra and promised a refund, but three weeks later I’ve still received nothing. They keep claiming the refund was processed through the bank, which is simply not true. On top of that, they've stopped replying to my emails. Very disappointing experience — I do not recommend this place.
Yas — Google review
On arrival all seemed ok, well that was the good bits out the way. Let's get a few facts straights first, it looks nothing like the photos, the site is not finishes and is having loads of work done, it's very dirty, dusty, noisy, messy. The staff couldn't give a shxt! We had no hot water for 5 days straight and although there was literally 40/50 other cabins available they would not move us. The air con didn't work, the cabins are next to a main road and extremely noisy, I mean 8 ft away from a main Rd. Filthy pools floating scum, bedris in the bottom etc The facilities are useless nothing like as advertised on booking.com. There are not two restaurants just 1. The other is now a store room, the one restaurant they have is advertised as Al a carte it is not it's buffet style like you would have in Spain. Croatia is beautiful but this place camp almissa is a dive so not waste your money here stay somewhere else. Beds are made of bricks, empty pillow, no towels, no pull out bed as advertised. The place is a mess and an absolute waste of money. Ruined our family trip. STAY AWAY GO SOMEWHERE ELSE

Calypso Scuba Diving offers an unforgettable experience for both seasoned divers and beginners alike. Nestled in the stunning coastal town of Omis, this diving school is renowned for its exceptional instructors who are dedicated to ensuring a safe and enjoyable diving journey. Many visitors have shared their transformative experiences, highlighting how the supportive team helped them conquer their fears and truly appreciate the underwater world.
This is the best diving school I’ve ever been to! Tino and Natalia are incredible instructors — they explain everything so clearly and make you feel confident underwater. I spent two weeks here and completed my Open Water SSI certification, plus I even had the chance to take part in marine conservation by helping remove plastic from the ocean. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for both a great time and unforgettable diving experiences. The boat trips were always so much fun, and seeing the shipwrecks was definitely a highlight!

I spent two unforgettable weeks diving with Calypso, and it was truly one of the best experiences of my life. Tino and Natalia are exceptional instructors , patient, encouraging, and always prioritizing your safety underwater. The program strikes the perfect balance between fun and responsibility, with a strong focus on marine conservation and environmental awareness. Every dive was not only exciting but also educational, and I left with a deeper appreciation for the ocean and its ecosystems. I can’t recommend them enough to anyone looking to dive with purpose and passion. Diving has never felt safer than with Tino and Natalia! ❤️

Every year we try and do a dive, we’ve never done a PADI course etc so always do a discovery dive, so we’ve done a few. Things that made this dive standout were the fact we went in off a boat (always good fun but not common - usually we go in from the shore) and the fact that we dived to a ship wreck - never done that before. The instructor and supporting dive team made us feel safe and the equipment was all in good condition, so overall a really positive experience and I would definitely recommend diving with them. Cheers Calypso!

I did 6 cleanup dives with Calypso and loved it. I specifically went to Omis for the marine conservation diving with Tino. He is super experienced and very generous with his knowledge. His diving equipment is excellent and the boat is supper clean. Natalia, the other dive master, is very experienced and caring with divers. Highly recommended.

The diving school left a great impression. We really liked the trainers, they allowed us to move more independently than in previous diving centers. They told us a lot about the area, we got geographical knowledge. We went with our 9-year-old son. This experience left a great impression on him. We will use your services when we return to Camp Almissa again❤️

We did a refresher and a fun dive and had a great experience with Tino and Natalia. We felt save and had two really nice dives around the coast and Brac island. We got a very good check-in at the dive sites and Natalia was greatly calming my wife when she initially had some problems after not diving for a longer time. We can definitely recommend Calypso Scuba Diving! Thank you for the great experience and your support :-)!

Studenac Market is a convenient one-stop destination for grocery shopping and quick errands. It offers a pleasant café bar with a west-facing view, perfect for enjoying the winter sun. The market provides free parking, while nearby paid parking options are available via mobile phone SMS or on-site machines. On Saturdays after 14h and Sundays, parking is free. The store boasts a wide range of amenities and well-stocked shelves, including alcohol and cold beverages.
A nice supermarket with friendly and helpful personal. You will get everything for normal prices what you need. I recommend it!
Jens C — Google review
Hy guys, I really have to share my shopping experience with Studenac Omis. The prices in this supermarket really surprised me. Compared to the Lidl stores in Split pretty much everything in Studenac is at least double as expensive, sometimes Triple. Surely, also plenty of goods are without Price Tags. Why ist that? You have Sometimes around 10 employees running around filling up the shelves but u guys are not able to Put Price Tags on all products? Lots of Price Tags also Show the wrong Prices btw. I Hope the locals in Omis aswell as the tourist would boycot this Studenac Supermarket. I also sincerly hope that one day Lidl comes and destroyes your business completly down in Omis!! Btw, what happens to all of your shamefully made profits? Are the bosses still able to face the mirror before they go to bed at night? Sure I will not put a foot into this shop anymore. Before doing that I will starve for the rest of my holidays. Cheers
Maxx T — Google review
Expensive products, abysmally rude staff (got shouted at twice for politely asking a question!). Bought some grated cheese that was completely mouldy 🤢. Tip - there is an off-licence type shop on the other side of the road (Diskount) that sells wine, beer, spirits etc at almost half the price of this shop! (Way nicer staff too!)
Jackie J — Google review
Certainly the biggest and best supermarket in the area, perhaps the only one of a decent size. On weekends you may find items such as meat and fish poorly stocked but otherwise a good selection of breads, fruit and vegetables. As with most Studenac in Croatia, don’t expect the staff to be anything other than indifferent or rude! Parking is confusing as to whether payment is required or not - that said it’s only one Euro per hour.
Simon J — Google review
All in 1 place. Great for grocery shopping and got fast stops. Caffe bar facing west, nice place for afternoon soak up the sun in winter days. During high season and part of off season this place is also offering a nice buffet offer. In that combination you got a sufficient portion of meal for lower prices. Other than that there is a regular standard restaurant menu card as well as pizzas. The prices are moderate, parking place is secured in the camp, and the views are very beautiful. Outside is also nice kids park

I came to eat during Ultra festival. Portions atrocious, food is cold and reminds me of school. Average wait time for food is 40 minutes although they have the food ready on trays. Only thing good was the beer which they stopped serving on the terrace once Ultra began. Absolute garbage.
Domen Z — Google review
Giving it two stars only because the restaurant is clean and climatized. Regarding the food... one of the worst bolognese I ever tried. It had no taste. Pasta was undercooked. We were told we can take small amount of salad as a side dish free of charge. Then they tried to charge us for that same salad 50kn (for half of tomato) Also, the waiter on the checkout was very loud and unprofessional.

We were there more times and it was worse and worse. I think that price aren't relevant of food which you get. Waiters are slow and without smiling. Price of 3 coffees without cakes or other food was more than 90kn... :/

Fast food restaurant
The food at Fast Food Ketchup exceeded expectations with its surprisingly delicious offerings. Despite being tired and hungry, the customers were not willing to dine at a fancy restaurant and expected greasy comfort food. However, they were pleasantly surprised by the high quality of the pizzas, perfectly baked to perfection, and burgers served on soft and flavorful buns. The only downside was the staff who lacked friendliness.
The food was surprisingly fresh, much better then what you would expect from the look of the exterior. We had a chicken tortilla, chicken Salad and French fries with two drinks and payed less then 10€ each - big amounts of food for little money.

Surprisingly good food. We where tired and hungry and didn't want to go to any fancy restaurant so we thought that this would just be fatty comfort food. The one thing that makes this not a five star revy was the the staff, they might not have been the friendlies, but the food was cheep and really good.

Me and my friend came here after work because we were hungry. It was around 10.45pm and they didn’t wanted to take our orders even though they are working till midnight and there were other people who were waiting their orders and they didn’t came a lot before us, maybe just few minutes. This is not the first time this has happened. I don’t know why are you working till midnight when you won’t take orders almost hour and half before the end of worktime. The “Big Mrma” is better place if you are hungry since they will take your order in 11.59pm and they are also working till midnight, and portion are a lot bigger and food is tastier.

Yesterday (03.08) wanted to order some food, entered the cafe, staff started screaming that i must go out and order outside. Okay, i went outside, waited for 10 minutes till they were preparing and giving order to other people, than when my turn came they just told “we’re closed” in a very rude way without apologizing. Disappointment. Don’t go there. They behave like animals

Fast food restaurant
Fast Food Tasty is a conveniently located fast food joint in the town center, offering delicious and satisfying options. This place caters to various tastes, with cheeseburgers, tortillas, and pizzas on their menu. The service is exceptional, characterized by quickness and helpfulness from the waiter who even jokes around with the kids. Despite having a small restroom space, it is impressively clean. The restaurant is known for its generous portions of high-quality food at reasonable prices.
Had a quick trip to Omis to see what all the fuss was about and whilst we weren’t that overly impressed by the area itself we happened upon Tasty Fast food. Fast food it wasn’t, it could have been at a higher end restaurant, the food was hot, well prepared and plentiful. The waiter was attentive but not overbearing, even congratulated my son for completing the meal he had eaten, kebab on a plate with fries. Well priced and would recommend.

Much more than meets the eye. We were pleasantly surprised by this place. Our expectations were just a quick mediocre lunch, but it turned out to be a really good quality place. Especially the crispy chicken burger was very crispy and good. Worth a stop for the cozy shady outdoor area alone.

I visited Brzogriz in Omis for the first time and I'm pleased that I did. They have an excellent sandwich that is the best I've ever had. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Omis. They also offer delicious pizza at a reasonable price. A large pizza costs around 100 kn and can easily feed two adults and two kids. The quality of their food remains consistent year after year, which is commendable.
I’m here for the first time and I’m glad I came here. I tried a sandwich and it was the best one I ever had. I definetely recommend Brzogriz to everyone who’s visiting Omiš.

Rafting
Adventure sports center
Croatia Rafting offers a thrilling experience for adventure seekers. Dalmatia Getaway is highly recommended for those who prefer to avoid crowds. The well-organized trip is led by professional guides, such as Ivan and Marin, who are not only knowledgeable but also entertaining. The Cetina river provides a beautiful backdrop for this activity, with clear waters and scenic routes. Families with children can also enjoy this experience as it's suitable for beginners and the guides provide clear instructions in English.
Just got back from Rafting. Had a fantastic time! Our guide was fun, professional and entertaining. The rapids are family friendly and the scenery is phenomenal. Would definitely recommend as a day trip from Split!

Nice Rafting experience in Croatia! The people were very nice and helpful, everything was explained very well and we had an amazing time! I think we had luck with our guide, Tony, because he was chill and even offered us a drink of his water bottle.

We had a wonderful day enjoying a day of rafting on the Cetina river. The work of the instructor, in our case it was Toni, was excellent in every way. Very professional and he made the trip enjoyable and fun. 100% recommendable!

I was a little hesitant to book but so glad we did and so glad we chose Croatia rafting. This is a well organised trip which is well worth the money. once you have booked you receive clear instructions via whatsapp regarding the pick up point and details of the trip. We met in Omis at the river side and were driven to the rafting location. We met our guide Josip who gave us basic instructions to get us going once we had been kitted out with a helmet and life vest. there was eight of us on the raft and the instructor. The scenery along the way is stunning, we stopped for swimming and cliff jumping if you wanted to. there is no pressure but its worth doing! the rapids are wild enough to have fun but you feel safe under instruction. I can honestly say I am so glad I didnt miss out on this opportunity! Make sure you wear some beach/sea shoes and leave any loose valuables at your hotel, they will get wet! we were given the option to buy the Gopro footage and photos which is well worth it so no messing about with phones. Take some cash if you think you would like to buy.

This was a fantastic day out for me and my 9 yr old daughter. Our guide Marin was a lot of fun and made sure all of us, especially the younger ones on our boat, had a great time. The rapids were just the right level of exciting for us beginners!!

I had an absolutely amazing time on the Cetina River! The scenery was amazing, the ride was smooth and exciting, and Jure made the whole experience unforgettable and fun. The whole crew were friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what they do. I felt safe and relaxed the entire time, and I’d highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a fun and scenic adventure. Thank you!

We had a very enjoyable time with Ivan on The Cetina River. There were 3 of us, 2 adults and a 13 year so we shared a dinghy with Ivan and a group of 5 Irish girls we had never met before. By the end of the experience we had all got to know each other quite well! The rafting itself was gentle enough not to be scary for our group of complete novices but was enough of a challenge to be quite exciting at times. The scenery is stunning and seeing it from the river was lovely. We had a couple of stops during the 3 hour trip, 1 to swim in the river and have a rest and 1 so the more adventurous members of the group could climb up to a point about 10 metres above the river and jump in. Definitely recommended! Ivan himself was a great guide. He was full of useful information on a wide range of topics and even gave us a recommendation for a restaurant in Omis. We chose to follow his suggestion and were not disappointed!
Simon S — Google review
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Brilliant Day Out! We had an amazing experience with Croatian Rafting from start to finish. Booking through email was completely flawless — quick, friendly communication and everything was clearly explained. They also arranged seamless transfers to and from our hotel, which made the whole day super convenient. The rafting itself was so much fun — our guide was absolutely brilliant and good craic, which made the trip even more enjoyable. We got to swim in the beautiful Cetina River, and for those feeling brave, there was even some rock jumping that added an extra thrill to the adventure. As a family of four (two adults and two teenagers), this was the perfect outing. Everyone had a blast and it was suitable for all ages and abilities. Highly recommended if you're looking for a fun, active day in nature while in Croatia. We’ll definitely be back next time we're here!

Planovo Omis

4.8
(122)
Hiking area
Planovo Omis offers a picturesque and relatively easy hiking trail leading from Planovo to the 14th-15th century Fortica fortress, situated atop a hill 260 meters above Omis. The path winds through the forest before transitioning to a gravel path near the fortress. While not well sign-posted, it provides an unforgettable view of Omis, the sea, and the Cetina River.
If you go by car down to the beachside, there is a viewpoint to all Omis. It’s a wonderful view, breathtaking. I recommend to have a stop and make a lot of photos here. Next time we will definitely stay in Omis to see this landscape more often. In addition some photos of the view
Petr B — Google review
Marked mountain trail which starts from Omis and then goes up the hill near Mirabela fortress and there are several trails on the hill. We climbed with cold northern wind Bura but view from above is very nice.
Tonko L — Google review
This is the picture of 15minutes trail heading to the fortress. What it didn’t tell you is that it took us 15 minutes car ride to middle entry point and 30 minutes walk/hike/trail to arrive at this point in the picture. Casual trailing gear is needed like good sneakers & a bottle of water. That’s all and enjoy the view!
Monika A — Google review
You get out of the car and you climb beautiful long, rich bolted routes. Downside is constant traffic noise and garbage lying around.

Excellent easy climbing. In the shade until 1200 (visited in July).
Mike D — Google review
This is a lovely hiking area up to the top of mountainside to the castle ruins (also marked on google maps separately) but it’s not well sign-posted. One can park in the parking area just next to this map marker (see satellite view) and climb up the harder inward facing (away from the sea) route. To get to the parking lot (chap charged us 20 to park the car) you cross the river (coming from Split) and immediately turn left. Then go through the tunnel and there are a couple of car parks. The first one (seems free) tends to be full. Next one is paid where we parked. It’s steep and has rugged (sometimes rather steep) zagged terrain so not for the faint hearted or those without good shoes. I managed to climb up with my 9 and 11 years old but they were tested and struggled at places. It’s not paved and doesn’t have any rails etc. But the views at the top are well worth the 30-45 min trek. Coming down remember to come down the ‘hard’ path to come back to the car park. The easy path take you to the seaward side of the mountain/hill intimately into the old town of Omis.

The Church of St. Michael the Archangel is the heart of Omiš Old Town and one of its most beautiful landmarks. This 17th-century Baroque church impresses with its elegant façade, bell tower, and rich history. Surrounded by the narrow romantic streets of the old town, it creates a picturesque and peaceful setting, especially in the evening when the square comes alive with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. (Translated by Google) I recommend climbing to the summit; the views are breathtaking. We set off on a via ferrata to Fortice (equipment can be rented at Zipline, which is also where the via ferrata begins), then followed the hiking trail to Kula – there are trail signs and the trail is well-marked. Then, from the summit, return the same way, and as the sign indicates, turn towards Omiš at the end so you don't have to return to Fortice. You can also walk from Omiš to the summit and return the same way. Our total distance was 12 km; from Omiš, it's similar, but without the climb. Apart from the via ferrata, the trail isn't very exposed. Definitely worth it! Zdecydowanie warto!

Restaurant
Cocopazzo wine and dine bar in Omis offers a unique dining experience with three daily tasting menus featuring meat, fish, and vegan dishes paired with exquisite wines. Inspired by the town's pirate tradition, the restaurant serves homestyle Dalmatian classics like octopus goulash and prawns with polenta. Vegan options include tofu and grilled veggies, while non-vegan dishes such as pasta with shrimps, pizza, and burgers are also available.
Wow. What a great place. We went as a large family group for my wife's 50th and they made our evening really special. The food is superb. The service is seamless. Josip was amazing, he did his up most to make sure everything was great. So good. We went back! Try the beef with the carrot puree, one of the best things I've ever eaten.
Paul M — Google review
During our 18-day stay, we visited Cocopazzo seven times, which I think is enough to form a fair opinion. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. Most dishes are bland, lack proper flavor, and feel like they are prepared without much culinary knowledge. The quality of ingredients also seems quite low. For example, while the pizza dough is acceptable, it is topped with a heavy layer of low-quality cheese (or cheese-like product), which makes it taste poor no matter what else is added. The bruschetta is served on a Kaiser roll, the risotto came cold with a soup-like consistency and was topped with thick slices of strange, low-grade cheese. Even the fish dishes were heavily overseasoned with garlic, masking the actual flavor. On the positive side: the location is very good, the place is clean, and the staff are attentive and friendly. They take care of the menus, approach people walking by, and try to invite guests in, which is nice. I noticed the restaurant has quite a good average rating on Google. However, this may be influenced by the fact that many of the guests are Poles, Bosnians, or Czechs, who might not have very high expectations. After days of eating mediocre food in Omiš, they may feel relieved to find something slightly better and therefore leave higher ratings. Still, the overall impression is negative. In Omiš, where many restaurants are just tourist traps with very average food, Cocopazzo might stand slightly above the rest, but that’s not saying much. I would only recommend it if someone is desperate for an option outside the typical tourist spots. If you’re looking for truly good cuisine, this is not the place
Dan J — Google review
Tucked into a cute old town corner, this spot certainly looks the part—cobblestone charm, cozy tables, and a welcoming vibe that draws you right in. Service is lightning fast too; they’ll take your order, your plate, and your money quicker than you can say “check, please.” The staff were genuinely nice, which makes it all the more of a shame that the food didn’t quite rise to the occasion. The starters were a pleasant surprise and set things off on the right foot, but the main dishes stumbled. The seasoning seemed to be on its own holiday: some plates came out so salty they could’ve been pulled straight from the Adriatic, while others were so bland they barely registered. And the salmon? Sadly, cooked so thoroughly it had clearly seen better days. In short: great place for a drink and people-watching in a picture-perfect setting, with promising starters—but the kitchen might need to recalibrate its compass for the mains.

If you want to go out for a drink then I do not recommend this place. I looked forward to visit this bar on my vacation but were rejected after not ordering “food”. If I’m not mistaken, the name of this place is Cocopazzo Wine and Dine BAR - not RESTAURANT. Me and my family wanted to taste some of their cocktails but unfortunately could not. Then we tried to order some food but were told to visit some other pastry… When I looked around, other groups had just drinks ordered. I’m not sure why we were rejected, possibly because our bill would not be as high as they wished. I was surprised by this treatment, the service was ignorant and careless. I often visit high quality restaurants and bars and never once experienced this treatment. I’m very disappointed because the reviews here are great, unfortunately not our experience… It’s a shame because I seriously looked forward to visit this whole summer.

So good dinner! Grilled chicken and breast was amazing! If I could come here again, for sure I would do it. Really recommendet place

The lasagna lacked spices and was only warm on the outside. The cheeseburger was pretty plain with only mayo as sauce, and the bread was dry. But the service was quick and the prices humane.

The burek was quite possibly the worst I had on my trip. It wasn't terrible, just not great... Very chewy pastry and not much filling. The hot chocolate was great though funnily enough.

Very good and fast food, pleasant service. I recommend.

We went to lunch with friends. We waited 30 minutes, and they brought out the dishes one at a time, and the food was cold and tasteless. I ordered a vegetable omelet, and it only had two slices of zucchini. Not recommended at all.

Never again. The worst restaurant experience in my life. We ordered fried squid. What we got was not squid or similar. Flour ring fried in breadcrumbs. No taste. French fries completely cold. It never happened to me that I would not eat a meal in a restaurant. Service slandering customers. Never more!

We ate here two times already and will definitely come back again. Very friendly people and the food is good. They also have takeaway pizza at the front of the restaurant, which is also great.
