Amazing, one of the best tourist offices ever. Answered all our questions. Gave local tips plus advice for our further travels in Corsica.

Very rude and unhelpful. Asked for directions to a book store to buy a book on walking but that seemed not possible. Was given a used copy to look at so I took a picture of the map in the book. Was then screamed at by the woman at the desk that it was not allowed and I was told to leave tourist office.

Nice but unknowing staff. They don't even have timetables for regional buses and trains.

Cosy city beach. Clean water, clean sand. Non smoking beach is a huge plus ! Missing some facilities like a working shower … perfect for kids as it s really close to the center. Parking in front in case you come with a car

Honestly one of the best beaches in Corsica, if you go to the very left of the beach you can find some more solitude from the massive crowd (even tho there’s still gonna be a lot of people. The water is crystal clear, it’s like being in the Carribeans!

Really nice and clean beach, few steps away from the town. Not overcrowded, but more people in the afternoon. If you want to rent a sunbed and umbrella you need to make a reservation the day before at one of the bars. We paid 15€ for one sunbed per day. Payment by card possible.

Nice calm beach. Easy parking near the beach in a charming town with good restaurants and cafes, and an occasional open market. It’s a public non-hidden beach, so sometimes gets crowded. The town is great.

Worth the walk out from ile rousse for amazing views

I suggest to visit this place at the sunset (8pm) because is stunning. Lovely easy walk around 15min on the road by the sea with amazing views. It is a really must see!

Amazing panisland with great views on the town and the sea. Crystal-clear turquoise water and red rocks. Its well worth the short walk up. There is also a rock tower to see.

For me so far the nicest location on whole Corsica. Beautiful colors. The yellow rock with dark blue and turquoise water. Extremely nice and relaxing.

A beautiful location right on the main beach of L’Île-Rousse. Unfortunately, the staff was often inattentive and at times almost rude, and the quality of the food did not justify the high prices. I recommend Tamaris for sunbeds and a freshwater shower, just make sure to book in advance. The atmosphere there was quiet, comfortable, and a bit more affordable than other spots, so I'd go back.

A very nice place on the beach. Beautiful scenery and good selection of drinks. The place has been recently renovated as it does not look anything like on other poctures posted one year ago. No payment by card which may be problematic.

The view is great. The Beach is great. The pasta was really non tasty. The burger not to good but acceptable …the french fries seemed to be left overs .. extremely small. Pizza alright and the salad acceptable but expensive. Most of the staff seems tired and off at the restaurant. The Beach service guy however was really nice and service-mindet. It was to expensive compared to the quality of food. However it was fast but we also ate quite late in the afternoon. I would have chosen next door restaurant - but they where closed. So. I would recommend to be curious somewhere else if you want really good food. I only give the place 3 stars due to the view and beach setting. Otherwise between 1 and 2.

Loved this place! I had such a great ice cream in here, I think this was the passion one. The lemonade was probably one of the best I've had also! Such a vibe, with the sea and beach view, and not on the sun - it was quite good to be inside this restaurant around the evening. Fast service, friendly staff, good deserts!

Excellent pizza bases. Genuinely so. Less great. Caesar salad typically light on chicken, fishiness and sauce. Lots of cheese and overdose on Romaine if that’s your bag.

Great food but only about half of the menu wad actually available. The waiter was very upfront about it before we sat down. The wine by the glass is okay but quantity is lower than the usual. We had Corsican veal and burger.

Apetizers were fine, but not excellent, pasta very good and daily fish average. Deserts also very good. Service was quick and attentive. Price was higher given the quality, but comparable to other restaurants.

Food is very average, for such a price we definitely expected something better then that. Pasta with mussels was just a huge plate of pasta which had almost no taste and few mussels in it. Service was okay though. Just the price which is not matching the quality of plate and nothing special.

We came to have a drink and quick dinner. They rudely asked to leave as this restaurant is suppose to sit for a longer time. The restaurant was practically empty. They did not receive a quick money, and also have a bad review now.

Food quality is good, but I'm just surprised with the small portion of set menu compared to the ala carte menu. Waiter is friendly but not so attentive, especially when I was about to pay, the waiter gave me bill, and later casually walk around, chit chat with colleagues (he saw me waving but ignore).

Trust the reviews- the best place to eat and drink in town! We visited twice in our 10 day stay in Corsica. Food is fabulous, drinks the same, atmosphere makes it a great evening out. Really nice food and good selection of local wines. The waiter recommended us a nice local red from Calvi, which was fantastic and very reasonably priced. The place is at the end of the busy street, in a nice quiet-ish corner and has plenty of tables so we managed to get a table at 8pm without a booking.

Great food and extremely friendly service! We were very happy that the menu differs from most of the other restaurants we found on the northern coast. We enjoyed our Linguine Frutti di Mare and Tuna Japanese style. We can highly recommend this place!

Great service! Overall experience a four. The wine of recommendation earns an extra mentioning. Nice, and calm with a touch of sweet Rosé wine that went well with the fish.

Great food and great service! We’ve been here fo a sneaky afternoon drink (or two) and came back for dinner the next evening. Most likely the best service we had in all of Île Rousse, from waitress/waiter to bartender, owner and furry employee of the year 🐕 The food was delicious and looked fabulous. 10/10, can highly recommend! Absolutely superb food, something different to the standard choice of food served in most of the other restaurants in town. Food at La Bodega is tasty, fresh, quality, lovely, and is a served in a pretty & comfortable setting. Service is also very pleasant. Good value for money and highly recommended.

Absolutely loved our visit. The food was delicious with generous portions and excellent quality throughout. Service was prompt and friendly, and the owner went out of his way to be helpful and supportive. The value for money was outstanding, truly great price-performance ratio. The setting is equally impressive: well-shaded, breezy, and offering a fantastic view. It’s also easily accessible, even with a rollator. Highly recommended for a relaxed and enjoyable meal.

Glorified fastfood "restaurant". Obviously floating on their previous reputation and their favourable location by the sea. How it is possible to ruin crab to such a degree that it tasted cellulose, or tinned dry tasteless mackerel in a heavy tomato paste, is beyond me. Absolutely no seafood taste at all. 3 portion were served, 5 guests all tasted it and agreed it was horrible and was left on the table. We love crab and seafood and have eaten seafood for decades all over Europe, never have we been more disappointed by a Chef's recommendation.

Highly recommended. Very friendly staff (which is not so obvious in Corsica). All the dishes we ordered were fantastic. The interior of the restaurant is superb and the tarrace overlooking the sea is spectacular.

We went twice in this restaurant during our holiday in L'Île-Rousse and our experience was excellent both times, The service was excellent (Leo was grate for suggesting the dishes) and the manager was very attentive. The meal portions are pretty big, so have in consideration when ordering starters. We tried Mussels (Cap Corse dressing), sea bass, linguine Al Fredo, Tuna and Beef, everything was perfect. The Profiterole was enormous (definitely for 2 persons) and delicious, we also have lemon tart for desert. The Cap Corse mussels were our favorite We highly recommend this restaurant, it was our best restaurant experience in L'Île-Rousse

Restaurant has a great location but is severely let down by the quality of food and the service. We ordered the seafood linguine that lacked taste, was not fresh and felt stale. Providing this feedback to the manager was not well received and was extremely rude. It’s a shame!

Disappointing Experience – Poor Service & Quality We had a really disappointing experience at this restaurant. After approaching the waitress and speaking in English, we asked if Italian would be easier. Rather than helping or referring us to a colleague, she responded rudely and continued to serve us with an unwelcoming attitude. We ordered a Caesar salad, a mixed fried seafood platter, and mussels. Despite the restaurant not being busy (it was already 3 PM), we waited over 30 minutes without even being served bread. Things got worse when a French family sat next to us — they were served within 10 minutes. Meanwhile, we finally received our mixed seafood platter, which came with a hair in it. We politely asked for a replacement. Instead of getting a fresh plate, the same cold one was brought back to us shortly after. Frustrated, I went to the entrance and asked to speak with a manager. Only then did they send out an Italian manager who could understand us. To his credit, he apologized and offered to remove the dish from the bill, but by then the experience was already ruined. The food itself wasn’t great either — bland and underwhelming overall. Bottom line: avoid this place. Rude service, long waits, and poor hygiene don’t make it worth your time or money.
