We recently visited Madurodam in The Hague, and our entire family had a fantastic time! It was perfect outing for both the adults and kids. This park is more than just miniature models; it's a interactive and educational experience. Our child loved being able to push buttons, make things move, and participate in the various activities throughout the park. It was a brilliant way to see the Netherlands' history and landmarks come to life in a way that engages younger visitors. For the adults, we appreciated the clever use of technology to make the exhibits feel dynamic. It offers a wonderful, bite-sized overview of the country's highlights. If you're looking for an outing that keeps everyone entertained and teaches them something new, Madurodam is a must-see.

I absolutely loved this place. The simulations were so amazing. I lo ed the historic stories told and the entire set up, is genius. A great place for kids but for adults alike. Its so interesting and there is so much to see, time will pass by and you would have spent almost an entire day. The best time to go is from when they open at 10.

It's a fun place to see the highly detailed miniature Dutch, Amsterdam - cityscapes, buildings, architecture, churches, airports, wind farms, wind mills, Canal systems, functional railway track and different trains running around, traffic vehicles moving on the road, ships, boats moving in the water... It was a fun time.. different big bridges recreated where it feels like a small overpass that you walk on, it's a fun get away

Great experience for adults and kids. Plenty of interactive setups to keep the kids engaged and interested, while admiring the great miniature cities. There are also other experiences scattered within the park. Good - clean - interactive and engaging activities - park for kids and adults - impressive miniature landmarks - facilities (toilets, restaurants, playgrounds)

What if a country makes a fascinating structure where the net proceeds 1st were meant for TB hospital and then later, started going towards the various Charities of the Netherlands? An awesome thrill to know indeed, that such a place does exist, leading humanity to it, where their presence collectively and perpetually, helps such charities out. Madurodam, named after George Maduro, a law student from Curacao, who was awarded 'Medal of Knight', (highest medal of Netherlands) for his tremendous valour in fighting Nazi occupation forces and who died later at Dachau concentration camp in 1945. . Madurodam, was opened for public during 1952. It is a miniature park of the 'Hague', Netherlands consisting of 1:25 scale model replicas and miniature versions of famous Dutch landmarks, cities etc. It includes indoor attractions that tell Dutch histories, art & culture, themed areas, some restaurants, and a few stores to get what-you-want including fridge magnets, bottles and smiling back items, getting ready to get picked up. Travelling to Netherlands? Ensure then, that this is added on to your MUST-VISIT place.

Madurodam was my favorite experience during my entire trip to the Netherlands. I loved exploring the miniature versions of Dutch cities and landmarks. It felt like traveling through the whole country in just a few hours. My favorite parts were steering the ships through the canals, controlling the helicopter, and interacting with the fun exhibits like attracting the fishes. The park is very well designed, with so many details that bring Dutch history, architecture, and culture to life. It’s both educational and entertaining, making it a great place for families, couples, or solo travelers. I would recommend it as one of the first stops for tourists visiting the Netherlands. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Parking was a little pricey, but that might just be my perspective as a visitor from abroad. Overall, I would definitely like to return and see it again.

Loved it, what a wonderful piece of art, that Is amazing, every zone has its own beauty, moreover nothing is less but plane ✈️ experience inside it is out standing, a must go place to bring you child here. There is also a shall canteen to have some light snacks and a souvenir shop is also there to bring some gifts. Overall a wonderful experience, but remember you must spare enough time to go there because it needs almost half day to complete it properly if you are a detail lover.

We went here to watch the musical Disney frozen. The environment is very good and the staff is also very kind. There is delicious high tea and coffee during the intermission. The most important thing is that the stage play is very shocking and memorable. It is very close to the beach, and you can go to the beach after watching it. However, the parking fee is too expensive.

Visited many times already enjoying beautiful musicals and hopefully will enjoy many more. Travel by car is absolutely possible however if you can use the public transport it gives you a lot more ease due to parking spots availability. Friendly staff and well looked after theater. Close to the beach, boulevard and a nice shopping area including a wide choice of restaurants that will give you some lovely options to spend your day.

Had enjoyed a show here. Nice facilities. Staff is friendly.

The incredible energy of the dancers, these sensations and emotions, especially coming from the male dancers, cannot be described in words. And this is something you will remember for a long time. Search and enjoy the emotions.

The play is 4/5 I guess it could use some improvements. Staff very organized. Entry and exit procedures very neat and smooth. However, i am rating the theater as a facility. The seats are too bad, condition were ok. But type and style i guess belongs to the 80’s. No much space, for someone to slide in a whole row shall stand to let a person pass. Such efforts made by actors should be rewarded with an up to date theater.

We saw The Lion King on Broadway at this theatre over the weekend. The production was absolutely amazing. High quality sound with live orchestra and singing. The seats are typically theatre seats, no drink holders. The staff are Professional and friendly. Book your show as far in advance as possible to select your seating preference.

On the second day of Christmas, we went to the musical Aïda. What was the cast GOOD and extremely talented. With each song, I got goosebumps! Circustheather itself was very nicely decorated for Christmas. The staff was super friendly and helpful. They also have an arrangement with a few parking garages in the surrounding area. For a fixed price, you can park the car there up till 8 hours after driving in. Which is perfect for lunch before a show or dinner after a show. The seats were comfortable, and the temperature inside was nice. However, during the break, you have only 15 minutes to go to the toilet and grab something to drink/eat. The lines were long, and not everybody who wanted something got the chance because the break flies by so quickly. In other venues, they have an arrangement where drinks are already on a table for everyone to take one, perhaps they do this on purpose so you will buy their own break arrangement..

Very, very impressive. I didn't expect to see such a big variety of fish. Don't hesitate to visit this aquarium. For kids this will be a big waw!

A very small sea life . I spent 20 minutes there. I was disappointed. A dozen or so years ago, there were jellyfish, but now there are none. It's a great attraction for small children. As an adult, I felt somewhat dissatisfied.

Sea Life in Scheveningen was a fun experience. The aquariums were accompanied with interesting information on the inhabitants and the ecosystems they usually live in. My personal highlight was the otter, I could have spent hours watching that little guy groom,take a swim, relax.

Quite interesting for the kids, stylized interior, one can take pictures as souvenirs then printed or as magnets in the souvenir shop at the exit.

A slightly salty review of Sea Life — lots of people, little fish, expensive tickets. I went to sea life as a kid, when you could still hear touch all of the fish. I wanted to take my kid for that same experience, and while they enjoyed it, I did not. The whole set up hasn’t changed since the nineties and feels like it’s straight out of movie set for some B-movie. There are literally vending machines with candy and drinks everywhere sometimes two in one room. The vending machines crowd out the tanks and the fish and in between the bad lightening and poor air circulation, if they put some slot machines in—it would be hard to know if you’re in Sea World or Holland Casino. It was very crowded and the set up was too narrow for the number of people, which really should be capped. They have some nice sections with different types of animals including a small crocodile and and the penguins. But the enclosures are small making it hard to enjoy the experience. The underwater tunnel feels like you’re actually diving, as the air circulation is terrible and it feels like you’re deprived of oxygen walking through it. Some of the windows desperately need a clean, for instance it was near impossible to see the otters because the glass was stained so badly. I like that they did some education on environmentalism here and there and that they contribute to breeding various species. That being said, for a whopping 64-65 euros for two adults and 1 kid, this place really needs to be lifted out of the nineties. If I’m going to be paying Disney prizes I’m going to expect a ride, rather than a school of vending machines and plenty of people rather than fish in the Sea (Life)

It was a great experience with a wide variety of fish and sea creatures. It’s very well presented. A bit small for the ticket price, but still worth a visit.

25€ for a small aquarium is not worth it. Especially when it concerns the wellbeing of the maritime creatures they have. The aquariums were to small for most of them and the penguin had their wings blocked with bracelets of plastic with no need for that.

We had Sunday lunch. Food was delicious, better than I expected, as an Indonesian, I'm very picky with Indonesian food here. I was really surprised that the food was as good as original Indonesian food. Service was wonderful. Very friendly and quick service. I will definitely come back.

An amazing dinner experience. It gas been a while since I liked everything in a restaurant from the food, the service & ambiance. The owner and his wife are delightful and the food is splendid. The location of the restaurant is great as it’s only 4 or 5 kilometres from the centre of The Hague yet it feels like it’s away from the hustle and bustle that busy centre. A truly must tray.

I've been eating here for over 40 years, the food, ambience and staff have always been exceptional, my favourite restaurant in the Hague by some margin and I wholeheartedly recommend anyone to try it.

This is by far the best restaurant in The Hague area, and one of the best I have ever been to. Atmosphere Service And most importantly the quality of the food. Not a single mistake If you get confused on what to order, do like me and let them take care of that :)

Amazing place, beautiful ambience especially the outdoor area. The staff is wonderful, the food tasted great and serving was big. The beef was my favourite Just a bit pricey but totally worth it in my opinion! One of the best in Wassenaar!

Wow, this place is just great. Really super tasty food. I had the moehen goreng, and my mates had nasi goreng, and tofu.

I literally stopped being a vegetarian because of the food in this restaurant. It is so delicious and is absolutely delicious. The reason my favorite food is Indonesian food.

It is an ok place. Self-service. The atmosphere is nice, since you are in the middle of nature. Food is mediocre: pancakes could be better for its price. Dutch people might argue, but I think from a hygienic perspective, I would not like the staff to put the bowl with toppings right away onto the pancake, when they serve the plate.

Very generous portions! It was huuugeeee! You get a lot for the price. We had the hunter's meal and the bread with eggs, both would have fed the both of us. The bacon is salty. The fries were nice. All in all we enjoy our time here after a long hike.

Great place to have a beer and a snack during your beach/dunes day. They have a big menu with pancakes as well.

Great atmosphere, and the location is great. Lack of other alternatives made the service (self-service) quite bad. Crew walking around, yet seemingly doing nothing at all but talk to one another. Tables not cleaned on time. I mean they could at least take some orders instead. The food was good, nice portions, but it is more of a fast food restaurant quality. The meatball is quite salty, and it comes with two slices of bread instead of a bun. I loved the fries. I don't think any of the things we ordered are made fresh (except the salad side dish), but it was ok.

Great place with a good variety of Dutch pancakes, located right in the middle of the dunes. The only drawback is the number of wasps, which can make eating outside a bit stressful

Really nice atmosphere, awesome for the kids. Tasteful food. It was just a little too crowded, but maybe we weren't so lucky by going on a sunny springbreak Sunday.
