Paralia Emplisi is a picturesque stony beach located in a secluded bay with clear waters, making it popular for snorkeling. It's just a short drive or taxi ride from Fiskardo and offers amenities such as a spa and fitness center. While there may be better beaches to spend an entire day at, Paralia Emplisi is perfect for a quick trip. Anchoring of ships is not allowed, creating a peaceful atmosphere for those arriving on foot.
Super nice! Water very clear and clean. There is parking and quite a lot of shade if you want it but very busy though. No toilets but changing cabin

Easy to access huge car park area and beautiful turquoise sea. The best beach so far. There is a little canteen to buy some drinks or snacks. They are smiling and products aren’t too expensive, affordable.

Super nice! Water very clear and clean. There is park and quite a lot of shade if you want it. Very busy though - some beaches nearby were similar with fewer people if you are looking for a quieter spot
Iz — Google review
It's a very nice, beautiful beach with white pebbles. The road leading to it is pleasant and convenient, and there are plenty of parking spaces. You can also enjoy diving if the conditions are right, as long as there aren't any big waves that make the water very hazy.
Tzvetan G — Google review
From the moment you arrive, you're greeted by breathtaking natural beauty. The crystal-clear turquoise waters are incredibly inviting, perfect for swimming and snorkeling, with an abundance of fish to spot just a few feet from the shore. The pebbled beach is meticulously clean, and while comfortable for lounging, water shoes are a good idea for easy entry into the sea. The surrounding lush greenery and dramatic cliffs provide a stunning backdrop, making every view feel like a postcard. There's a small, charming beachside cantina that serves refreshing drinks and snacks, which is incredibly convenient. The staff were friendly and the service was prompt. The facilities are basic but well-maintained, blending seamlessly with the natural environment.

Another stunning pebble beach ⛱️ 💙 Stunning and such a lovely place to sit, enjoy the sun, i did not go in for a swim but it is aperently lovey.
Scottieboyuk — Google review
It is a beach with round stones located in a small bay, bordered by a natural amphitheater of rock slabs, with many pine trees that offer natural shade, the water full of fish is also here with shades of an unreal blue. The mountains in the background are on the neighboring island of Ithaca located 2 km away

Thai restaurant
Lord Falcon is a Thai restaurant located in Kefalonia, offering delicious Thai and Asian cuisine. The restaurant is known for its lovely food and excellent service, set in a beautiful location. It has received positive reviews for its delightful dining experience. If you're looking to enjoy Thai cuisine with a charming ambiance, Lord Falcon is worth considering during your visit to Kefalonia.
Wonderful dining experience at Lord Falcon in Fiskardo! The Thai food was full of authentic flavors and beautifully presented. We enjoyed every dish, and the atmosphere was relaxed yet stylish. The service was attentive, and the staff was friendly. Highly recommend Lord Falcon for anyone craving delicious Thai cuisine in Kefalonia!

Nice break from Greek food. Cute garden area. I was eating solo and the staff were friendly and I felt comfortable. Good portion sizes. Decent cocktail list!
Phoebe W — Google review
So nice to have Thai for a change after being in Greece for 4 months. Warm atmosphere trees and lights dining outside. Service was friendly and quick. Having travelled to Thailand numerous times, the food is pretty good at this restaurant just need a bit more chilli’s but we were fine with that. Chicken wings, pork ribs and curry puff were great. As was the lamb Mussaman, chicken red curry and the pork mince with the fried egg. Highly recommended.

Completely understand all of the five star reviews! We are both vegetarian and ordered the green Thai curry, mango salad and pad Thai. Amazing depth of flavour to the food and lovely servers! Will be coming back for sure :)

Absolutely loved our meal here, the Thai salads and spring roles a particular favourite. The vibe and location set back from the busyness of the port is absolutely lovely as well - highly recommend.

Exceptional Service, on top of you, at all times, replaces clean silverware, napkins. Generous. Food was very good, we were seated in the beautiful garden. Food came out quick, everything was full of flavor and well prepared. Prices were very well reasonable.
Limit L — Google review
This is the only Thai restaurant on the island and this place is far North of Kefalonia - worth the drive if you have a craving for really good Thai food. We mango and papaya salad (minus the fish sauce), tom yum soup, chicken pad thai and drunken noodles, yellow curry, massamum curry and egg fried rice (side dish that could feed a family of 5). Everything was spot on - tasted just like NYC Thai food. We ordered so much that we had small amount of leftover to bring back to our rental place in Skala. It was worth the drive for my family. It is a dangerous drive up north (very curvy and hilly road) just to get Thai food. The food was delicious and worth bragging about. 2 things I wishes they did: - wished there was more curry sauce for the massumum curry. I'm used to having bowl full of curry sauce to drown my rice with since I had leftovers with my egg fried rice. - wished they can open another restaurant in Argostoli (epi center). They would even have more business out in Agrostoli. Your food is as great as NYC Thai food. My kids loved your pad thai and drunken noodle (pad see wa). We should have ordered more to go and have for the next couple of days while we were on that island. Now that were in Zakynthos, there's no thai food here and we have to wait a couple of days till we get home to eat more thai food. Lord Falcon - open more restaurants . Make a franchise between Kefalonia and Zakynthos. You would make great business.

Restaurant
Angler fish restaurant
Located in the picturesque village of Fiskardo, Vasso's Restaurant has been serving authentic Greek and Kefalonian cuisine since 1988. Situated along the waterfront, this traditional family restaurant offers a charming setting with views of the historic architecture and bustling harbor. The menu features a wide variety of local dishes such as grilled octopus, saganaki shrimp, and fresh lobster.
We ordered lobster pasta (linguini) which we enjoyed a lot , service was very good and as expected for price to pay. For dessert we had pannacota,
Makis S — Google review
The waiter's were just not attentive. Waited long to order and to receive food. The kicker was we asked for cheese for our pasta and it had no taste. So, I asked the waiter what kind of cheese it was and he said mozzarella. Not only that, he followed up with "Yes, that is the cheese that is put on pasta." I burst out laughing. My dad said "You won't give us Greek cheese because it's too expensive, huh?" He laughed and agreed. The gaul to charge their prices and not only give you mozzarella but then lie to you that that is the shredded cheese of choice for pasta dishes. Laughable. Everyone liked their food but I wasn't impressed with mine. Black pasta with seafood.
Nicole G — Google review
I was really not impressed with this restaurant in regards to the food. The location is beautiful, the restaurant itself quite posh, but the food was meh. I ordered a salad, it was very big but no taste whatsoever. Take into regard it is on the pricey side.
Irina D — Google review
If you’re looking for genuine Greek hospitality, warmth, and kindness – this is NOT the place. The owners of Vaso restaurant are shockingly rude, arrogant, and unprofessional. Their behavior is the complete opposite of what Greece is known for: f It is truly embarrassing that such people are allowed to represent Greek hospitality in one of our most beautiful islands. The way they treat guests is not only unfriendly but downright hostile, leaving visitors with a bitter impression of Fiscardo and Greece as a whole. No one who respects themselves should ever step foot in this restaurant. There are so many wonderful places in Kefalonia where you will be treated with warmth and respect, and where your holiday memories will be enhanced rather than ruined, like it was ruined for my family and friends.
Youli P — Google review
We arrived at noon, it was simply horrible. The fish we ordered was not fresh and absolutely inedible. We left everything for the cats. The tomato salad was terrible, it did not justify such an expensive price for such poor quality food. A very big disappointment.
כוכבה מ — Google review
I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. The owners were extremely rude and made me feel unwelcome from the moment I arrived. The service was careless, and the overall atmosphere was unpleasant. With so many better options around, I would not recommend this place at all.
K G — Google review
The restaurant has nice settings although right in the busiest corner of town. We can see that they try to elevate the dishes to be more special but the eel apertizer and char grilled sea bass were quite dissapointing. The seafood spagetti was the most traditional dish and also the best. Price is quite expensive and service got pretty hectic when there was a lot of guests.
Minh L — Google review
Wow.. what an exceptional dining experience. We came on the recommendation from Tassos Dousis from Ekonis and we were truly blown away. The entrees, especially the White Bait and Tarama, the Main dishes of Lobster Pasta was absolutely incredible. It is a must if you’re going to dine here. Service was lovely, attentive, friendly and helpful. Highly recommend visiting if you’re in Kefalonia. It is worth the drive to Fiskardo.

Roulas Grill House is a waterfront restaurant located in the traditional village of Fiscardo on the Ionian island of Kefalonia. Established in 1972, it offers a charming ambiance with its distinctive floral motif and calming white neutral colors. The menu features fresh seafood such as calamari and grilled prawns, which are described as delicious and clearly fresh. However, some patrons noted that the portions could be larger. The restaurant also offers delicious and affordable wine to complement the meal.
An excellent place to have lunch in the middle of the port. The food was very tasty, big portions, served very fast. We were 7 people and we paid around 160 euros. I really recomand this restaurant!
Cristian B — Google review
Waiter was very rude, refused to take order for a coffee saying everyone is busy no time to make coffee, although he would had time as we were sitting there for lunch, coffee was mentioned at the beginning together with the food. Food was good, but the service has ruined the mood. Please change your waiter, he does more damage for the restaurant than good, he is a lazy one that has nothing to do with serving food and customer care.
Szocska A — Google review
Being in such a tourist hotspot I really wasn't expecting all that much....but Roulas really was very good. We'd booked an early table (6pm) the previous afternoon. The menu looked good! They reserved us a table right on the water's edge. We both really enjoyed what we'd ordered... my wife knows a lot about fish and she was singing their praises!...service was excellent and by 7pm the place was packed. Try to book beforehand if you can (and want/ to eat here - I think is probably best.
Mark E — Google review
Everything was nice. The service could have been a bit more extroverted, but still it was fine. Food is more a 4.5/5 star and the ambiente was a typical restaurant environment at a small harbor. The Tzatziki has to be pointed out. Its a taste thing if you like it or not but in my opinion it was very good. I would wish them to have in mind that some people come by the big tourist boats which stay there for 1h and not everybody can afford to wait >30min in total for food serving etc. The waiting time is fine but for "boat tourists" pretty less. Also for bigger groups (4+) the tables and place is not a fit
RaresBares — Google review
Amazing food. Grilled meats and the lamb made on the spit are exceptional. The star of the night was the prawn saganaki. Only warning is that the portions are huge so be careful not to overorder. Lovely staff too. Highly recommend getting a reservation as it's always full. We wanted to go there another night but they were unfortunately full.
Geetika S — Google review
Consistently good food and excellent service. One of the more affordable and less pretentious spots in Fiscardo royals salad is excellent. The octopus, swordfish and fried cod entrees were excellent and authentic.
Jim K — Google review
The grilled prawns were excellent, fresh and very meaty deliciously prepared . Staff at the end of the season are visibly tired and sick of tourists, verging on contemptuous.
Paula G — Google review
I was initially skeptical, as this restaurant looked to me like a big touristic place, where no attention is given to the quality of food. I was happy to be wrong, the grilled octopus I ordered was the best I have ever had, maybe the best seafood dish I’ve ever eaten. I would definitely recommend it!

We had a fabulous lunch here today. Initially we sat by the entrance, but a waterside table became available after we had ordered, and the staff very kindly moved us before anyone else took the table. Fiskardo Beach, nestled in the charming village of Fiskardo, is a delightful spot that offers a unique blend of natural beauty and local culture. Located just a short stroll from the heart of this picturesque fishing village, it serves as an ideal base for exploring nearby attractions like Paralia Foki and Emplisi Beach. While the beach itself may be modest in size, its proximity to vibrant taverns and shops along the promenade creates a lively atmosphere perfect for leisurely afternoons.
Amazing place. I was in the middle of the May and it wasn' t crowded yet and weather was really nice. I can't imagine how full is that place in the summer time

This beach is not for swimming. It's a place to drop small boats and yachts into the water. Some people still go in for a quick swim but the water is not the best here.. The town is overcrowded with the tourists brought by daily crocuses... Everything is overpriced.
Jeka M — Google review
Scenic views mostly yachts n restaurants...been there, seen it, done it! Don't really need to go back a lot nicer places on Kefalonia.
Travelling G — Google review
It is surrounded on one side by a very rugged coast full of cypress trees and on the other side by old ruins. However, the most interesting feature is the presence of a cave located along the right coast looking at the sea from the beach. It can be reached either by swimming or by following a small path on the coast. Fiskardo was not destroyed during the 1953 Ionian Earthquake (also known as the Great Kefalonia Earthquake). While most of Kefalonia lay in ruins, Fiskardo's buildings were spared the wrath of the cataclysmic earthquake. It is one of the few villages where you can see historic Venetian-style homes. There are a couple of bakeries to be found in Fiskardo selling fresh bread daily. There are plenty of lovely boutique shops to browse in Fiskardo selling clothes, jewellery, shoes, bags, hats and souvenirs. Near to Elis Restaurant is a little shop selling Greek produce which is worth a visit.
Petra — Google review
Fiskardo harbour and area is lovely but the beach itself here is very small in length and width and right next to the promenade and restaurants. So compared to all the other wonderful beaches on Kefalonia this is not the best. However the general area is great to wander around with a lovely relaxed vibe with lots of boats and people coming and going off the boats. Great for relaxed people watching! We visited in late May and whilst the rest of the island was quiet there were a lot of boats and generally Fiskardo (and Assos) were busier than other places.

The Lighthouse Trail Head, also known as Fiskardo Lighthouse Trail, is a small yet stunning circular route leading to Cape Fiskardo where the Venetian Lighthouse stands. The coastal path offers magnificent views of the beautiful settlement of Fiskardo across the shore. This walk provides a picturesque view of Ithaca and is relatively easy despite being unpaved and slightly rocky.
A Short trail along the opposite side of Fiskardo, take some good walking shoes and enjoy the lovely panoramic views of the town, you will get to the old Victorian lighthouse using the signpost along the trail, then heading up to the newer light house then further up the trail is the remains of an old collapsed church.

Smashing spot for a coffee and a sanger (sandwich). The coffee is excellent and the foods good too, relatively simple but very tasty and cost effective. They have plenty of comfortable shaded chairs and sofas, there's normally a breeze and your right on the harbours edge next to the yachts. The interior is air-conditioned if you need to cool off.

Horrible service, waited in a queue for nothing, tried to order, they ignored everything and said to go outside and wait to order, nobody approached us for more than 10-15 minutes. We were on cruise and didn’t have an hour to wait for them to make a coffee.

The food was delicious. Fish was perfectly cooked. Nice extra touches with olive oil and olives. The wine was also really good. Pudding was Devine! Atmosphere was nice although I am always keen on some music but trickier in outside spaces. The lovely gentleman who I presume was the sommelier gave us a really wonderful break down of the wine and I believe he took great pride in this. I would recommend as a treat as it’s higher on the price side that some of the other restaurants here but it’s really worth it if you are a foodie. And the setting is lovely by the water.

Greek restaurant
Lagoudera is a charming restaurant that offers a quieter and more affordable dining experience compared to the establishments along the waterfront. The menu features delicious options such as meatballs, cheese pies, and moussaka. While some dishes like the meat pie were found to be a bit dry, the mains are reasonably priced at around 8 and typically come with fries, while starters range from 3-5.
We went twice, because we enjoyed the first time and it's much quieter and cheaper than the restaurants on the front which have the same kind of food. I would especially recommend the meat balls and cheese pies! Mousakka was also yummy, but the meat pie was too dry. Mains are mostly around €8 and seem to always come with fries; starters are around €3-5. Staff were very friendly, but you need to communicate slowly because they don't speak fluent English (which is ok, it's Greece after all!)

as all the restaurants in this town, over expensive due to extremely rich tourists. food was good. service was good but eveeything in this town is more British/american than greek. nice town but destroyed by rich tourists. if you want some really greek service/experience go to small town. per example Poros.

Very slow and rude service.. it's like they are forced to work... We ordered the food took an 1hour and 30min and when it finally arrived we were informed that one of the dishes was not available and we had to order something else!!! Quality of food bad asweel, veal chops chewy, lamb chops uncooked. At least Fry's were goor :) A very good example were you should not let the cheap prices misguided you!

We were here out of the season, in October, so we didn't expect excellence. Restaurant was pleasant, food was good, waiter was also good. So no complains, but also nothing special.

I don’t agree with some of the other reviews. The staff was really friendly and the service at a normal pace. The food was delicious, we stayed with the basics salads, fried cheese, souflaki and gyros pita. Everything was really nice and very reasonable priced. So definitely a recommendation from our end!

Classic tourists trap. Fast food style and taste awful, way over price for what you get! On top of it, THEY MADE YOU A BILL THAT DOES NOT ADD UP TO THE TOTAL AMOUNT. Double check the bill, especially the amount at the end. They claim they made a mistake but apparently not just to us for the night.

Gyros were very good, service was nice. Kinda got over charged for the meal. Said 3.80 but when we got our bill, it read 6 euro....we were still satisfied with our meal! Got water, bread and watermelon.

We ordered fried calamari and stuffed calamari, both ended up being fresh, tasty and well prepared. Pita bread was excellent. Food prices were decent, but drinks here are a bit overpriced. The service was faster than expected although it was a busy evening and the staff was nice.

Restaurant
Elli's is a charming Greek taverna located in the picturesque fishing village of Fiscardo. It has gained a reputation as one of Kefalonia's top restaurants, offering a diverse menu of delectable seafood and meat dishes. The restaurant's waterfront tables provide stunning views of the Ionian Sea and lush pine trees, creating a relaxing atmosphere for savoring their exciting flavors such as red snapper filet, grilled swordfish, and lobster.
a wonderful restaurant with very fresh food. we were absolutely delighted with everything we ordered, especially the squid. great service (they asked us if we were ready for the main course and only then brought it), grated cheese was served separately with the pasta, clean toilets with a very cute toilet for a child, a wonderful view. I wish you only prosperity, we will come back to you a thousand times. thank you very much! we wish you good luck

Ellis is my favourite restaurant in Fiskardo. The menu is full of fresh, delicious options – the lamb was exceptionally tender and full of flavour, and the pasta was equally delicious. Service is warm and welcoming, making it a place you want to return to every visit.

Very big menu, a bit fro everyone. Grilled Halloumi with honey fog honey was so good! Bread and dips were awesome. Gluten free bread was an awesome option, Moussaka was decent, carbonara was ok. Short spaghetti? Weird pancetta/bacon. Prices were okay and you can feel that they're used to catering to tourists more than repeat locals.

GLUTEN FREE items, clearly marked, and they were very knowledgeable about gluten. Everything was delicious! Would highly recommend the duck appetizer. Hope to be back someday!

I think this was my favorite restaurant out of the ones we checked out during our stay in Kefalonia. The overall experience was great for me and I enjoyed the food. The lamb was tender and well seasoned and the baklava was amazing, I liked it a lot. The main course portions are just right for one person, the desserts could be easily shared between two as they are quite big and sweet.

Came here for the moussaka and it did not disappoint. Hands down the best I've tasted in Greece. The service was good and the food was overall great.

Rotten crab claw and bad seafood, none of them are fresh, a lot are freezed over month. They did replace rotten crab claw with the prawn. Will not recommend

We choose Moussaka, and Friskado Salad both were excellent. Loving setting looking out on to the bay. Staff were great too what's not too like.
