Lublin in 5 days

If you only have 5 days to spend in Lublin, we’ve narrowed down the top places you should check out to get the best experience of your time here.
Lublin offers a well-preserved Old Town with colorful townhouses, cobbled streets and landmarks like the Kraków Gate and Crown Tribunal that reflect its medieval and Renaissance heritage. The 14th‑century Lublin Castle, with its striking Holy Trinity Chapel and Byzantine‑Ruthenian frescoes, highlights the city’s role as a historic crossroads between East and West. As a major center of Jewish history and culture in Poland, it also invites reflection through sites such as the former Majdanek concentration camp museum nearby. Today, Lublin pairs its layered past with a lively calendar of festivals, student energy, and a growing café and arts scene.
With favorites like Basiowe Słodyczko Cukiernia|Torty Lublin|Słodki Stół, Między Słowami, and Galeria Olimp, we’ll make sure you don’t miss out on all the must sees. We even included some of our favorite food spots around the area, like Domino's Pizza and Hades Szeroka Restauracja so you can get the best taste of Lublin while you’re here. To see our full list of food recommendations, check out our best restaurants post. If you're traveling on a budget, you can check out our cheap eats post.

The Felicity Lublin shopping mall is a two-story, enclosed complex with an abundance of parking spaces. It hosts numerous renowned stores, features a diverse food court selection and houses a cinema. Although some may find the mall to be too sizable, it is an ideal destination for those looking to shop for top-notch brands offering discounted prices. Located outside of the city center, the mall is still worth visiting due to its broad array of shops available.
Lovley shopping centre is not very big if, like me, you prefer smaller and not too crowded places, everything under one roof, cinema, restaurants, shops, coffee, ice cream, free parking
Rabih D — Google review
I like this shopping centre. It has many shops, places to eat, drink and rest. Good parking and clean toilet facilities. A little outside of the city, but that's no problem for my part.
Mats M — Google review
If you’re in a campervan or motorhome, do NOT approach from aleja Wincentego Witosa. There is a 2.4m height barrier on the one-way slip road from the dual carriageway which leads to an underground car park. We didn’t see any warning signs until we were already committed to the slip road with no way to go back. The open-air car park is from Pancerniaków.
Helen R — Google review
Got everything I wanted the smyk toy store here is very big the free underground car park was very large plenty spaces
Joefindus — Google review
It was an awesome mall for discounted shopping, also have the auchan inside it. All big brands outlets can be found there.far from the center but worth to visit.
Syed A — Google review
Pretty big shopping mall with lots of different stores to choose from.

Has all the brands, not really in the city center

A decent shopping center with everything you need. Well, at least for everything we needed. We were in Lublin for just a few days, and visited Atrium Felicity twice, and that says alot...

The State Museum of Majdanek is a memorial museum located on the site of a WWII concentration camp. It houses buildings, photographs, and personal effects from that era. The exhibits are available in English as well and offer an educational experience about the atrocities committed during that time. It takes around four hours to visit the entire museum, so it's best to plan for a sunny day as it can get cold and windy in winters.
A fantastic trip out from the centre of Lublin. Very interesting site to visit. Lots of information in 3 languages boards to read around the entire exhibition. Lots of walking involved to take in the entire place . Gas chamber, barracks etc all very harrowing to see. With free entry
Andrea B — Google review
An interesting place to visit, for all the wrong reasons I accept. I feel like everyone should see the conditions people were kept in, with the quotes dotted around often added extra significance.
Andrew W — Google review
An incredible place. Take a 3 hour guided tour to get the full horrific story of this concentration camp. So sad but amazing to see and hear the stories. You cannot imagine what it must have been like. The most shocking part for me was seeing the 430,000 shoes of those that died there.
Martin C — Google review
I was truly moved and saddened that this could happen so close to populated areas and no one came to help ir protest everyday
Ibironke G — Google review
A very powerful and emotional place. Majdanek is preserved with great respect - a heartbreaking reminder of history that should never be forgotten.
Liudmyla Z — Google review
A sad place but a fundamental visit to understand more about this dark moment of our history. The museum is very well preserved and organized. The entrance is free but I would recommend to buy something from the bookstore, to contribute with the conservation. If possible, go on a weekday by morning, it opens 9am and the visit will be not crowded, so you can explore everything in your pace.
Ricardo R — Google review
This is a eye watering place to visit due to the horrendous reasons behind it being there. We entered through the main gate and into the reception, we were then shown on a map whats what and how far it it’s to walk round it , I believe it was 4.6km . Hard to imagine just how hard it must have been but the whole place gives you somewhat of a view into the conditions . The stories you read on the wall again make your heart miss a beat , very very sad place to visit but a must if history and a real look into it is on your to do list.
John-Anthony F — Google review
Plenty of parking and easy to get to. There is a small car park charge but other then that access to the site is free. Be prepared for a fair amount of walking as the camp is fairly large but there are two further mini car parks on the museum site which would cut down the walk.

Aqua Lublin

Water park
Public swimming pool
Aqua Lublin is a modern aquatic center offering a variety of facilities for the whole family. It features an Olympic-sized pool, saunas with colored lights and music, whirlpool baths, indoor swimming areas, and water play zones. The center also has outdoor pools and rest areas, as well as an outdoor hot tub. Visitors can enjoy two indoor slides and a small dry sauna in the shower area.
Amazing swimming pool that's 50meters and can be divided into 2x25m to accommodate more people. It's also quite deep more than 4m which is why I wouldn't recommend it for people who can't swim. It's so deep actually that when you enter you can gaze on the swimmers through large windows from below. The only downside I could find is the changing room typical for Aqua parks where you have changing rooms in the middle and the lockers further, so you have to carry all your belongings between those. Haven't visited the saunas which have additional fees when using Multisport, but I heard they are quite good so maybe next time.
Maciej P — Google review
Quite a big complex that includes several swimming pools, those just for fun with warm water and deep pools for sport swimming. There is a pool outside, too. Also there are cafes inside. And the complex has a gym and a ice skating ring. Large parking is available and it’s possible to get a discount for it if you register your car number inside at the reception. There are also special discounts for specific time of visit. But! It seems that cleaning isn’t a strong point for this place, especially the parts/tiles of the pool near the glass window (where the circle is) and such. You can see the same garbage there and dust any time you come, which is not very pleasant for sure.
Anya N — Google review
I visited this place at around 14.00 08 March 2024. One of my expectations was to have an opportunity to use olympic pool. As it is shown on the picture it was claimed to be available. In reality all tracks were reserved by different groups and I wasn't able to use the pool. In my view, someone should be responsible for providing up to date information for the customers or to keep tracks available for common use if they announce so. The place is far from being cheaper than others and this incompetence is undoubtedly annoying. Don't recommend. I will never visit again.
Александр Л — Google review
It is a really good place and the pool is so professional but the warming up pool is too small only 5 lanes and a little bit shallow from one side
Dr. L — Google review
Amazing aquapark with plenty of activities for whole family and 50m Olympic swimming pool. Sauna is also great 👍
Maciej M — Google review
We had very good time there. Water is heated so it's nice in the outdoor areas. We went there with kids and it was super fun.
Milosz M — Google review
Great place , the best swimming pool in Poland maybe even in Europe , great customer service , staff friendly

Nice aquapark, they have couple external pools and internal ones. Top class olimpic pool to train, space for babies and slides. There is also SPA and saunarium. They should have bigger hot tubes and some more water attractions.

Lublin Castle

4.6
(19969)
Museum
Lublin Castle, situated in the heart of Lublin, Poland, is a 12th-century fortress-turned-museum that offers a captivating experience for visitors. Initially founded as a wooden structure by High Duke Casimir II the Just, it was later fortified with stone walls and a circular keep. The castle's rich history includes serving as a royal residence, prison, and military fortress.
Visiting Zamek w Lublinie was an unforgettable experience that beautifully combined rich history, unique architecture, and a profound sense of cultural heritage. The building itself is visually striking—its elegant neo-Gothic façade, complete with turrets and arched windows, makes it one of the most iconic landmarks in Lublin. The castle's light-colored exterior and symmetrical structure create an inviting yet majestic atmosphere that draws you in from the moment you arrive. Inside, the castle houses the Lublin Museum, which showcases a wide range of exhibits reflecting the region’s historical and artistic legacy. One of the most fascinating aspects of this site is its layered history: originally established as a stronghold in the Middle Ages, it has served various roles over centuries—including a royal residence, prison, and now a cultural institution. What adds even more depth to the visit is the outdoor information board, which clearly explains the significance of the Castle Hill, the Union of Lublin, and the architectural transformations the site has undergone. It also outlines various cultural trails that pass through this location, making it an excellent starting point for exploring the broader historical context of Lublin. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the city—whether you're a history buff, architecture enthusiast, or simply looking for a meaningful stop in Lublin.
Misha S — Google review
Excellent exhibitions, including history related to living in Lublin area throughout the centuries, big numismatic collection, and very interesting temporary art exhibition dedicated to women's art from 1850 - 1950 plus exhibition of art of Tamara Lempicka. Highly recommended.
Urszula S — Google review
Make sure to download the "Muzeum Narodowego w Lublinie" app and inside the app a 300MB audio guide (if you download it at the Castle it will take up to an hour to finish). Otherwise the visit will feel a bit wasted. So far the least interesting castle in Poland. Half of the space is dedicated to paintings and the castle itself looks to be rebuilt and lacks it's medieval feel.
Stundzia A — Google review
Beautiful castle with artefacts, paintings. Provides a great history of Lublin 300 - 500BC and how people lived. There was a beaitiful chapel with inages forom 600 years ago and two art exhibitions.
Barbara J — Google review
I’d give this place a 5/5 if I weren’t comparing it with Wawel or Prague’s castle. For 40zl, you get access to all of the permanent collections, the keep, and BEST of all, the incredible chapel. I came for this spot specifically, which honestly blew me away. A gorgeous and truly impressive example of Byzantine-Ruthenian artwork, dating back to the 15th century. I could spend hours in there. I’d love to come back for a detailed tour. I also greatly enjoyed the small exhibit of Russian icons, which were wonderfully displayed.
Chrissy M — Google review
Worth visiting the tower. Go to the very top for scenic views of city.
Chetan P — Google review
The castle has turned into a very good, rather big museum. So take your time and don't hurry. Expect to be approx 2 hours in the museum. And yes, buy also the ticket for the chapel (one the highlights in Lublin), that is UNESCO list! Different rooms/ galleries with different styles. Galleries with Lublin area history, icons, highlights of Polish painters, coins.

(Translated by Google) I ordered two pizzas from this restaurant for home delivery. Initially, delivery took 1.5 hours, despite the scheduled delivery time being much shorter, and the delivery location being close to my house. After a long hour-long wait, I called the location to inquire about the pizza, and the delivery person said the driver was on his way. This seemed untrue, as my journey certainly wouldn't have taken 30 minutes. The receipt I received wasn't printed until the hour I called. After receiving the pizza, everything seemed good at first, but after trying it, it was cold. I thought that was the end of my disappointments, but my pizza contained a WLOS (Wolf's Eye Disease), which I've attached below. Despite the good food, I don't recommend this restaurant for many reasons.

(Translated by Google) It's been a long time since we were so disappointed with our visit to Basiowy Słodyczko. There are advertisements everywhere, you hear about it all the time, what bonuses it offers, miracles, wreaths and sky-high prices - basically, it's like a premium segment. But unfortunately - only in appearance. The taste doesn't taste good at all. Basically, you pay to take a photo with a great-looking "cake" and possibly pink decor - that's it. Appearance and price do not match taste. Ocho... I'm changing the rating from 3 to two :), I just saw how the owners threaten those who leave negative opinions with some "consequences", and so that it doesn't disappear, it's worth having a screenshot :) Not nice Not nice, we do not recommend it There are rumors in the confectionery industry that Slodyczko is closing - well, I guess there is nothing to regret, especially if someone has already "taken" this place. Already posted this review for "Chapter one" but they are the same restaurant with 2 menus" After an extremely positive experience 4 years ago with 3 phenomenally executed savory dishes and a mediocre dessert I decided to try it again. Lemon soup was really bad except for 2 greatly seasoned mini dumplings filled with chicken. I bet pickle soup (which is a Polish staple food) in most cheap restaurants is better. I didn't finish it and I don't think I should have been charged for it. Pasta with morels, spinach and cream was pretty good but a simple dish I could have made myself with similar results in 20 minutes without much skill. Crème brulee with strawberries was very good except that all vanilla seeds were found at the bottom of the dish. Rhubarb lemonade was good but not exceptional. Waiter was extremely attentive and professional although the former was to some extent a matter of me being the only diner present. A thing that bothered me is that pleasant background music was lagging due to an unknown malfunction which was immersion breaking. They should also get rid of the prefabricated panels that are supposed to look like bricks on an arch.

Excellent restaurant. Great atmosphere, delicious food and very helpful and pleasant stuff. Great place for dates but also for family dinners. There is great kids menu for children. Delicious food and this is the most important isn't it :) Once a great cook give simple advice about restaurant choices. If there is too many items on the menu , how they can be fresh ? And same is here , short menu. But really great items even ice-coffee or a soup is prepared with attention to details and perfection.

We had our wedding dinner here, everything went according to plan (except the air conditioning). Food is very good, burgers solid. Everything about this place is just that - solid. You definitely won't be disappointed, but I'm not sure if it'll be something that'll stick out in your memory. If I could, I'd give it 4.5/5 stars, but, to me, it's just missing that something. Like most places around the rynek.

Day 2

Northeast side of town
For day 2, we recommend exploring the northeast side side of town. Start the day off with Lithuanian Square, then wind down and take it easy by the time you get to Plac Po Farze. All together, your day would be filled with about 7 hours of non-stop fun.

This place has significantly changed since my time at the Uni, and I have to honestly admit that it had changed for the better, much better, in fact. Nowadays, it appears to be a lovely spot, right in the city centre and yet away from noise and traffic. I quite enjoyed my little stoll down the memory lane at Lithuanian Sq. in Lublin.

Quite a popular park in the central part of Lublin. It has a small fountain, a playground, a stage for different performances and a cafe for peacocks. You can also see peacocks wandering around. At the main entrance you can also get some ice cream in summer time. The park has many benches, but because of the birds it’s not possible to use quite a few of them :) For unknown reasons the paths in the park can switch from cobblestone to asphalt or dirt road. You can be walking one way and the asphalt will suddenly stop and you’ll end up on small gravel path… All in all many people come here to spend some time
Anya N — Google review
The young peacocks are already walking around the runway. So much fun. The Bosco ice cream has lost its flavor, which is a shame.

The Cracow Gate, also known as Brama Krakowska, is a significant Gothic-style landmark in Lublin, Poland. Constructed in the 14th century, it stands as a symbol of the city and connects the City Centre with the Old Town. This historic gate was part of the royal route from Cracow to Vilnius and has served various purposes over time, including defense, fire observation tower, and residence for the clock-master.
Beautiful historic place in the town centre. Definitely worth a visit 👍
Eric P — Google review
As night falls on Lublin, the Brama Krakowska becomes more than just a city gate—it becomes a glowing portal through time. Lit from below and crowned with a timeless clock, the tower stands with quiet strength at the edge of the Old Town, its brick walls bearing witness to centuries of history. I watched as small groups of people walked beneath its archway, silhouettes passing through golden light, as if stepping between eras. The air was still, and the only sound was footsteps on cobblestones. It’s easy to imagine merchants, guards, and townsfolk doing the same hundreds of years ago. Originally part of the medieval city walls, Brama Krakowska was not just a gate but a symbol of protection and connection, linking Lublin with Kraków. Today, it still connects—past with present, and locals with visitors. The contrast between the vibrant nightlife just steps away and the calm majesty of the gate makes the moment feel both alive and timeless. Even without knowing the full story, you feel the significance. It invites you not just to walk through, but to pause, look up, and remember that every brick was placed with purpose—and every passage through it is part of an ongoing story.

Jewish restaurant
Mandragora Jewish restaurant is a charming two-level townhouse restaurant located in the heart of Lublin's old town. The cozy venue offers a terrace and traditional Jewish decor, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The menu features a variety of Ashkenazi kosher dishes, including fish, soups, meat dishes, and desserts.
Tucked away in the heart of Lublin’s Old Town, Mandragora Żydowska Restauracja feels like stepping into a warm, intimate corner of history. The delicate lace tablecloths, antique-style furniture, and soft lighting create a sense of being welcomed into someone’s home rather than a restaurant. What makes this place truly special is how it blends atmosphere with meaning. As you sit surrounded by books like The Lost World of Polish Jews and guides to Jewish landmarks, it becomes clear that this isn’t just a culinary experience—it’s also a quiet tribute to a culture once so vibrant in this city. The ambiance invites reflection, while the flavors bring comfort. The dishes are rich and full of character—from the creamy, traditional beef in horseradish sauce to the beautifully roasted meat with orange glaze and aromatic herbs. Each plate is presented with care, accompanied by fresh bread or perfectly matched garnishes. Paired with a glass of white wine, the meal becomes a slow, soulful journey. Mandragora is more than just food; it’s storytelling through cuisine. It allows you to taste the legacy of Jewish life in Poland, not as a museum piece, but as something living, warm, and heartfelt. A rare and beautiful experience that lingers far beyond the final bite.

An overall amazing experience. A Lublin local in Warsaw told me that if I ever saw a Jewish restaurant in Lublin that I must eat there and it did not disappoint! The food was delicious and reminded me of Kosher restaurants in the USA. I am glad that what we have in the US is authentic. The service was so good and attentive. I felt like I was in a flashback eating here. Definitely recommend.

This is a restaurant that gave me two new experiences. First, it allowed me to experience goose food for the first time. Second, I ordered a cold drink for the first time, but it allowed me to experience a lukewarm drink without ice. When you order, be sure to ask if there is ice in the cold drink.

The food was amazing!✨️ We ordered: salt beef (fantastic! you have to ordet it if you're here), fried liver with button mushrooms in wine and honey (if you like liver you'll love this), carp fillet made seasoned with Israeli mix of herbs (carp has a specific taste so it may not be 100% for everyone but if you like it you'll like this one), tartar (amazing, very fresh) and lastly grilled chicken breast with potatoes and salad (10/10). The vibe is amazing, the place is very pleasant and they also sell delicious bread there you can take home. If you are in Lublin and you're looking for a place yo eat go there wou won't be diasspointed🫶🏻✨️

Great restaurant, not only for the food but also we learned quite a lot about jewish culture thanks to the menu and the little notes there. Felt very authentic and welcoming. Food was super good and the atmosphere especially in the courtyard was so cosy. We had dinner there and I think spent almost 2 hours. The service was attentive at first, but eventually became more random (eg they forgot our dessert and didn’t come to offer new drinks when old ones were finished).

Disappointing experience. Lower lvl was loud from distorted concert upstairs only alternative was a outside/patio. Crepes with haring appetizer were excellent except for being oversalted. Latte was about 45 degree Celsius. Duck dish had many flaws main one everything lacking salt which was especially bad combined with sweet flavors everything also lacked complexity, luckily there were a few unplucked thyme stems for decoration. Worth exploring if you have the money and thyme (I'm Funny) but I wouldn't recommend if you want to be confident you will get a good meal.

first time I came it would’ve been a 5 out of 5 however they have managed to change their source recipe for the steaks… blue cheese sauce, within a week time. that is a 4 out of 5. Too milky, no taste of blue cheese. Peppercorn sauce still amazing.

Wouldn’t recommend going here. Steaks were overcooked and very salty. It was expensive to every other place around and the staff weren’t very attentive although nice when they came over. The only upside is the cocktails were good.

Edit: I tried the steaks twice, but on a Monday. If you know you know. First was a ribeye that genuinely was delicious. Second was a tbone which, I gotta say was quite good too. However, when ordering a level of doneness with a bone-in steak, it’s always going to come out rarer near the bone. I ordered rare and it was arguably blue rare. Also it wasn’t well seasoned; an expensive steak shouldn’t need a sauce. Overall I’m modifying the review to 3/5. The ribs and wings aren’t good, but definitely steaks are. Service is excellent and attentive, but the food sucks. Flavor, preparation, doneness, etc. I tried the lemon spicy wings and ribs, but was very disappointed. Wings weren’t crispy and the sauce was burnt, where is even was on the meat. The ribs were thick, not properly trimmed, and pretty much prepared like normal polish recipes do, not steakhouse ribs. Based off that, I wouldn’t try the steaks there.

I can’t even find the words to begin to describe. I had my birthday dinner here and it was absolutely stunning. Food 10/10 , Drinks 10/10 and as for the service 1000/10. We had the honor of being servered by Christian and when I tell you he was such an experience, literally the best waiter I have ever experienced. He took care of us like we’re celebrities and filled our table with so much love and care. In my eyes truly the employee of the month 🔥 it doesn’t get better than him. Truly grateful for the experience and we will be back again and again and again❤️

Delicious crepes and coffee. The mascarpone and fresh berries crepe was excellent, I think I had it three times in the one week I spent in Lublin this summer. The berries literally tasted like they were picked from a bush in the field that morning. Good value too. Only issue was the service. A couple times I had to walk up and talk to the workers in the kitchen to make sure they knew we were there, even though we were only 3 meters away from them. But that is somewhat normal in Poland. Didn't stop is from coming back though!

I’m not a fan of an Irish bar outside Ireland, normally avoiding them at all costs. However, we’d tried most other pubs in the town and wanted a pint and a toilet. Restauracja Lublin Kardamon is a stylish and elegant eatery located in the heart of the city, inside a historic tenement building. The restaurant boasts a unique interior design with warm, chocolatey tones dominating the main hall and intimate booths as well as a VIP room for private gatherings. It's known for its traditional Polish cuisine and excellent customer service.
What a great little place across from the Grand Lublin Hotel. Tastefully decorated with proper flatware and linen this is a warm and inviting space. Our server Daria is a real darling and knowledgeable about the food and wine on offer. After some so so meals in Zamosc we were very happy sit down to a couple of back to back lunches that really made our stay in Lublin special. The perch ( sandaz) was pefectly cooked, the duck pirogi delicious and the venison lovely..The roast duck I had on our second lunch was a BIG portion of bird that ate beautifully with the nice Primitivo Daria suggested. Sadly my wife thought that the catfish wasn't as nice as the perch: a bit over sauced and lacking the nice skin crunch of the sandaz she enjoyed so much the day before... If you want to splurge order a bottle of the La Trucha albariño for something really special: Especially on a hot summers day...... For dessert the raspberry tiramisu was out of this world: The best we have ever eaten... we thought much better than the traditional chocolate standard..... We will certainly be back the next tie we are in town and highly recommend !

Once, it was great, but recently we were very disappointed. This is a 'medium' steak for 110 PLN, and it was like a rock. We also received dirty glasses, and when we asked for a replacement, the wine we paid for never came back to us. We weren’t even given a chance to taste the wine before it was poured for everyone. The dish that was supposed to come with asparagus had broccoli instead, and the dish that should have had broccoli came with sugar snap peas—nobody informed us or asked about these changes. People sometimes have allergies; you can't just switch things without mentioning it. The only vegan option on the menu was unavailable, and no substitute was offered. The tiramisu was very poor. We were the only people in the restaurant, and it felt like no one cared at all, despite it being Saturday evening.
Justyna C — Google review
Really a big disappointment. The restaurant “Kardamon” wants to brand themselves as fine dining place. Unfortunately it’s quite far from that aim. Water is served in the cheapest IKEA jug. Food is mediocre. The menu available on the website is different from the one presented to the guests in the restaurant. Is the update of the website so hard and time consuming? Really? Further, the cauliflower steak was over salted and mediocre. Definitely not worth the price. The tagliatelle with mashroom sauce did not include any fresh mashrooms. The mashrooms used came from a jar. Quite a low quality for a place wanting to present themselves as sophisticated. Unfortunately the pork tenderloin was served with green beans instead of asparagus as noted in the menu. We’re in the middle of the asparagus season now. So why? Why would you make such a substitution now? However, something that was the cherry on the top of this disappointing visit was shattered glass on the table cloth. That’s dangerous and irresponsible. If something was broken earlier on this table cloth, it should be taken away and replaced. Tiramisu had no taste of coffee. It was served in a lovely way though. Another thing is the tap in the bathroom. It could use a replacement. Great potential wasted.

Very nice place in the centre of Lublin. We were lucky to get a table without reservation. Friendly stuff, perfect meal. Hot sea food soup was just excellent. Unfortunately, wine cart was too short and also they didn't have xo cognac. Otherwise, highly recommended

Probably the best place in Lublin so far 👍🏻😊... VERY friendly staff and the highest service-levels (taking coat, pouring wine etc.).. excellent english. Very extensive wine-card with quite a bit to choose from. We were offered different wine tastings before choosing. Had VERY good carpaccio as a starter. Tenderloin as main course, also good. Cheesecake for dessert 👍🏻 Beautiful atmosphere and place. You probably need to reserve a table 😊

Nice cosy place, within walking distance from old town. Price is very correct, food very decent and service was very good. The only bottle of wine I ordered was not available. The one which was available was good enough. Good call. Cons: why the hell chefs need to put truffle everywhere? The beef carpaccio was tasting...truffle. the mash potatoes was tasting...truffle. My wife had a dish which was too pepper according her, despite her putting too much pepper usually.

Tasty food, a bit expensive for Lublin but served well and portions are decent (as opposed to other reviews).
Vsevolod R — Google review
I booked to place to have a nice dinner with my wife and my mother. First of all they were not able to find our reservation ( reservation was made over Google and got a confirmation SMS an hour earlier) and ask us to sit at a separate room with a huge table for 10 people sitting set up. Moreover I assume that the room we sat was not being used for a while since there was dirt on the floor and spider nets were hanging. The most disturbing point was that there were pieces of broken glass on the table. When I informed the waitress/host she nodded her head and even did not apologize the issue. I found the food mediocre. I really hope them to fix all these points.

Galeria Olimp is a well-established mall in Lublin, offering a wide range of retail shops, boutiques, eateries, and entertainment options. The modern shopping center spans two floors and features a variety of clothing and fashion stores. One of the oldest shopping centre in Lublin. It has three wings, multi levels and planty small inside shops. You can find there also food corner, soft play and cinema. A lot of parking spaces, where first three hours are for free. Next to the main building, there is a McDonald's and petrol station. Good public transport links and close to main speedway.

This modern shopping centre has a variety of clothes and fashion shops mixed in with several places to eat. Set over two floors, the size of the Europa is a great positive as this creates an excellent shopping experience. We visited during Christmas and were thrilled to see the huge and bright Christmas decorations decked throughout the high ceilings and walls. The centrepiece tree was stunning.

Shopping
SKENDE Shopping is a prominent feature of the mall, offering affordable and freshly made food as well as a range of other goods. While there is limited competition, the quality of their offerings remains high. Additionally, there is an outdoor area dedicated to children's play activities, which alone makes it worth visiting. Another store within the complex is TKMax, known for its diverse selection of products.
Quite a lovely shopping mall. It's a little difficult to find how to get there with the winding road but after that you have a big parking place with multiple floors and all the stores you'd need.

Huge place, IKEA included. Seating, play for kids.
Mats M — Google review
Ikea is the major component of the mall. Good coffee and inexpensive- fresh food. Not much competition but they are good as well. Outside complex for children to play worth to drive just for that”, TKMax for a cornucopia of goods. Yeah, sometimes the prices might shock you. Post Office, Biedronka, and a shopping on one level mostly. Place to park underground too.

Nothing special just got some stuff from the ikea. Not busy in the evening.

To be honest I should give 4 stars but I decided to give it 5 just because of best ice cones - the best of the best. Plus for: big parking in front and at the back, good location, easy navigation around the galery. Minus for tough navigation around IKEA even especially when you try to access only the small appliances.

The Centre for Culture in Lublin, also known as the Voivodeship Culture Centre, focuses on providing cultural and art education to children and teenagers. Additionally, it serves as a coordination hub for assisting war refugees. Visitors can explore various art exhibitions, musical concerts, and photo exhibitions while enjoying the modern facilities such as a cafe and an indoor yard. The center offers free events including exhibitions, meetings, cinema screenings, and houses a bookshop.
Must go in Lublin. Amazing place with lots of information and art events. Also the cafe is exceptional space to rest and have a chill drink. Highly recommended!
Magda Z — Google review
The Centre for Culture in Lublin is a truly impressive and inspiring place that blends historical architecture with vibrant cultural energy. The building itself is stunning—an elegant and beautifully preserved structure with a classic European design. The red-tiled roof and cream-colored facade make it stand out, and the ornate arch with a statue near the entrance adds a refined artistic touch. It’s clear that the exterior alone holds great historical value, and walking up to it feels like stepping into a different era. Inside, the center hosts a wide range of events, exhibitions, performances, and workshops that cater to all ages and interests. Whether you're into theater, film, music, or contemporary art, there’s always something exciting going on. The staff are welcoming and knowledgeable, and the overall atmosphere is both professional and creatively stimulating. Located in the heart of Lublin, it’s easily accessible and surrounded by other points of interest, making it a perfect stop during a day of exploring the city. I highly recommend visiting, not only for the rich cultural experiences but also to appreciate the historical charm of the building itself. It’s a cornerstone of Lublin’s cultural life and an essential visit for any traveler or local resident.

St. John the Baptist Cathedral, Lublin, was established in the latter half of the 16th century and boasts a baroque inner decor adorned with frescoes.
The most famous cathedral in Lublin) It is located in the centre if the city. Its design attracts visually and is impossible to ignore. The typical Baroque building attracts attention to the column and the tower. The church looks majestic inside. It has a rich artistic interior decoration which seems to be too pompous. There are some old relics and paintings of famous artists of the 17-18th centuries. It is a must visit place for tourists!

Very typical church structure and beautiful church. It has very big area and inside the church is adorable. Very high building and we can see all around the old city from top of the building. Inside the church is Very calm and peaceful. we can have mind relax by sitting inside the church. It is open for people who need to go inside and pray. There are many beautiful paintings inside the church and it is reflects traditional paintings.

Beautiful, but by reading the information boards you can feel you are not welcome there if you are in a cohabitation relationship. For all of you not participating in religion classes at school, don't even think to ask for confirmation or a wedding there. Building very well renovated. To be honest a but too much, especially when you leave the building to look around at all of falling apart blocks of flats, detached houses that seem to be occupied. Visas, American Express, and MasterCard accepted for donations. Plus for accepting donations for the good purpose. The payment terminal has an option in English also. The mass is broadcast online.

Train station
Lublin Główny, the main train station in Lublin, Poland, is conveniently located just a short walk from the Old Town and many of the city's top attractions. The nearby bus station, Lublin PKS, provides easy access to key destinations as well. Despite being a small station, it functions efficiently with trains running on schedule and ample seating for travelers. Clean restrooms and food options like a kebab stand are available near the entrance.
A peaceful, functional and clean station. No issues getting trains here. Note toilets charge here so use the free ones at the bus station nearby instead.
Vin C — Google review
Lublin Główny train station is functional but leaves room for improvement. The station building itself is fairly clean and modern-looking, with some nice design elements like the central sculpture pictured. However, the overall experience could be more welcoming. While the waiting area is decent, it can feel a bit cold and impersonal, and the seating is limited during busy hours. Information displays are present, but not always easy to follow, especially for non-Polish speakers. It would be helpful to have more multilingual signage or staff available for assistance. The ticket machines work fine, but not all of them accept card payments, which can be inconvenient for travelers. There are a few small shops and kiosks, but food and drink options are minimal, and the surroundings outside the station are not particularly inviting. Public transport connections exist but are not very clearly marked. In summary, Lublin Główny serves its purpose as the main train station in the city, but it feels more like a transit point than a gateway to the city. With better services, clearer information, and a more traveler-friendly atmosphere, it could offer a much better experience for both locals and tourists.
Misha S — Google review
Peaceful and small functioning station Connected to all main cities Not big rush Easily accessible Just beside Lublin new bus stand and easy transport all over the time
Ravi C — Google review
A small yet functioning station in the southern region of Poland. The trains left and arrived on schedule. There were plenty of seats available for travellers, clean restrooms, and a kebab stand near the entrance for those who were hungry. Sadly, on Christmas Eve at night, some buses were not operating. Thus, be ready to wait ten to fifteen minutes to order a bolt. A plus is that bus 160 makes it possible to see the charmingly cute old town as it is not too far away. PS there is a zabka, post office and bank in proximity for one’s convenience.
Tendeso M — Google review
Ridiculous is that if you wanna use lift to skip walking on stairs, you have to anyway go downstairs by stairs because there is no lift that takes you straight from the bottom floor! Bang out of order. Imagine alone with 3yo daughter, a lot of luggage, buggy and carrying on stairs. It’s central station in big city, not small village…. Wake up and sort it out as it’s one of the most important units while you travelling
Mateusz W — Google review

Munchies Lublin is a unique establishment that offers fast food with an uncompromising focus on quality. This vibrant spot, founded by a group of avid travelers who wanted to share their experiences, was born out of their dissatisfaction with high-end dining. Munchies specializes in street food-inspired dishes, providing guests with a diverse and flavorful menu. Despite its limited selection, each item is exceptionally tasty as they are prepared using slow-food techniques but served quickly.
I have never been to the restaurant but I have ordered delivery. The food is actually great for cravings and very tasty. The burgers and Fries are Good But the Korean Chicken… WOW! The best in Lublin.. I am from Asia and have been missing this Asian Taste 💕 The food is just amazing ! Definitely recommend ❤️

Very well seasoned pulled pork accompanied by the super soft brioche, toasted with a little bit of butter, fresh veggies ( + super crunchy reddish slices ) and unique sauce. Super tasty! Food very tasty had the vegan burger as well as the chicken udon. However from ordering till getting food took 30 minutes while there was no one else in th3 restaurant other than uber drivers collecting deliveries. Friend ordered ten minutes after me and also waited 35 minutes for a beef burger. When staff was asked about the wait was rudely told that there was other orders being made whilst no one else was in the restaurant sitting down. I could have slaughtered the cow. Made the fire myself, fried it and grown the vegetables myself before the waitress got off of her phone to tell the cook i ordered.

I got a poutine pulled pork which was decent but expensive, as was the lemonade I bought too. The poutine was surprisingly not hot, it was just warm, there was a distinct lack of gravy and perhaps it was too busy with the tomatoes. If I was ever in Lublin again I'd probably give them another try just because their online pics look so much better than what I tasted. Also, some outdoor tables would've been a nice option but alas.

Restaurant
Nestled in the heart of Lublin, Chapter One by Piotr Kwiatosz is a culinary gem that opens its doors primarily on weekends. This fine dining establishment boasts an intimate atmosphere within its charming vaulted chamber, where guests can indulge in a frequently updated menu crafted from top-notch local ingredients. Renowned chef Piotr Kwiatosz showcases his talent through bold and innovative dishes, such as mushroom soup with chocolate and beetroot sorbet paired with spruce oil.
Even in a city and area rich in good restaurants, Chapter One is a cut above. Perhaps more expensive than other local restaurants, you are never in doubt over the quality of the cuisine and accompanying wine. The service was attentive but not intrusive and the overall atmosphere of the restaurant was a pleasure. If I ever visit Lublin again I will be sure to return to Chapter One.

After an extremely positive experience 4 years ago with 3 phenomenally executed savory dishes and a mediocre dessert I decided to try it again.
Strangely R — Google review
Disappointed. Encouraged by positive reviews, I visited the restaurant on a Saturday afternoon. We waited over an hour for our order, and the food was only served after we reminded the staff 40 minutes in. During that time, other guests had already received their meals, eaten, paid, and left. No one informed us about the delay, nor did we receive any apology. The "cepeliny" were miniature in size, with barely any meat filling. The additions of cherry tomatoes and greasy, bitter-tasting mushrooms only worsened the dish. The romaine salad looked like it came straight from a supermarket bag – unwashed and not very fresh. There was only a trace amount of chicken. Considering the restaurant’s reputation and pricing – I do not recommend it.

Very nice restaurant with elegantly presented dishes. Menu is intriguing but maybe not wildly interesting. I lacked the wow effect a bit. Don't know, maybe was expecting a touch more... Still, value for what you get is excellent, staff is extremely friendly, Polish choice of red wine very pleasant. Interior seems more cosy than the exterior. I would certainly come back here again...

I was so excited when I went there. And yes, dishes were delicious and looked good. But not everything was as good as I would expect. The crew was pleasant and really tried to do their best but they were not trained. They were not able to provide details about wines they have in menu. As the card is not overcrowded, the owner of the place should become true leader and develop the team in the way they satisfy demanding clients. I understand that whole industry had hard times but I guess some people will demand more from the top-notch restaurant. I was served by 2 waiters and one was not aware what I ordered with another one. So again, a bit lack of experience and coordination. The last disadvantage - I went there to taste something new. I expected testing menu promoted on the restaurant website. Unfortunately, it was not available and I heard that „maybe it will return in September”. Taking into account it is one of more expensive restaurants in Lublin, I felt a bit disappointed. Despite many times I go back to restaurants to taste more positions from the menu, I have mixed feelings about the Chapter One. I expected something special, charming, top-notch food and service. And yes, I got delicious food but wasn’t able to order what I went for, the crew was pleasant but not prepared for more demanding clients. For premium price I expect premium service and atmosphere. Here I didn’t get it.

Tasting menu. I often say that if one wants to be truly impressed with a restaurant, they need to go through the vegan tasting menu. In Lublin I wouldn't trust many restaurant with vegan food, but in Chapter One I had hope and they didn't disappoint! Brilliant combinations, taste pairing. Two of my favourite dishes were an appetizer of Portobello mushroom with teriyaki sauce, kale, red pepper - genius taste pairing, to me as a non-vegan resembled barbequed pork ribs; another one from the main course - Oyster mushroom on sauerkraut with tomato sauce: to put it simply - impressive! That sauerkraut deserves applauses Another thing to mention is wine pairing. Professionally picked wines paired perfect with each dish accordingly. A nice show of a wide wine collection Last but not least, pleasant service with fluent English and great knowledge of wines, helpful throughout the night, and very attentive Thank you!

Angelos is a popular local custom in Lublin. I appreciate the delicious pizza, mozzo stix, and chicken boxes they offer! It's worth mentioning that their second establishment is also worth visiting. The pizza itself is exceptional, and the employees are accommodating and kind. Additionally, their fried chicken surpasses the quality of KFC.
One of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. You can tell it’s made with passion & care. Also, huge plus for the halal chicken option! You’ve got a forever customer now. The cheese tastes high quality, toppings are very generous & everything else is perfect. The prices are so reasonable relative to their sizes. A must try in general. I’m sure they have an option for everyone. My personal favorite toppings are corn, jalapeños & chicken!

In house restaurant is great! Service and host is great! Food is usually really good too! But… Delivery needs work…food came an hour late (discrepancy between Uber Eats time and when order arrived) and received the wrong order and without the extra paid for sauce as well. If one waits a long time, at least have the order correct. Salad, was great as usual!!A 5-star place into 3 star…but since a long time customer an extra star, hoping this was just a fluke.

Good service. The pizza was decent, they have a lot of variety, but the problem was that their pizza likes to fall apart. It doesn't hold the ingredients on the crust, everything usually falls off. Their fried chicken has caused food poisoning for myself and my friend at different times.

So I called them and they said I have to wait another 20 minutes after almost 2 and half hour that I was waiting for food. So I have to wait almost 3 hours for just 15 chicken wings and 1 coke

The mall is adjacent to the Center for the Meeting of Cultures and features modern architecture juxtaposed against remnants of an unfinished communist-era theater. Visitors can also admire graffiti dedicated to the Jewish old town's history near the entrance.
Lublin Plaza Shopping Center is a fantastic place for shopping, dining, and relaxing in the heart of Lublin. From the moment you step inside, you can feel the vibrant yet comfortable atmosphere that makes this mall such a great destination for both locals and tourists. The mall features a wide variety of popular international and local brands. Stores like H&M, Reserved, Sephora, TK Maxx, New Balance, Mango, and Empik are all conveniently located, offering something for every kind of shopper—whether you’re looking for fashion, cosmetics, sportswear, books, or lifestyle products. Everything is easy to find, and the layout is clear and pleasant to navigate. One of the highlights was the delightful dessert selection I came across at the pastry stand inside. The cakes and pastries on display were visually stunning and tasted even better. I tried the strawberry brûlée and raspberry cheesecake (sernik z malinami), which were both rich in flavor and beautifully presented. Prices were very reasonable considering the quality. The mall is also well-maintained, clean, and has a modern look. It’s perfect for a relaxed afternoon with friends, some quick shopping, or a sweet treat on the go. I will definitely return whenever I’m in Lublin again. Highly recommended!

Not too big , but still have some good Franchises and outlets. Quite decent sitting area. Needs to improve the quantity of outlets.

It’s a nice mall just behind and across from the old town. Brands you’d expect. Check out the graffiti by the old town path entrance dedicated to the history of the Jewish old town, which was once nearby. That’s the major cultural point of interest.

It is a pretty weird place, it is modern, nice, not to crowded, not too many stores but but the food court is like kinda not from there but some other poor plaza from a different country, the food quality is so so..not to many restaurants, definitely not for vegetarians, the only fine place worth visiting is Costa Coffee, beatlutiful with a nice atmosphere and delicious coffee as usually

Not a Safe Place for Children! We visited the shopping center on August 17th and went to the food court, where our 3-year-old played at the playground located right next to it. Unfortunately, the equipment is in very poor condition—the plywood is chipping off—and our child came out with cuts on his hands. This playground is unsafe for kids, and I strongly urge management to repair it before more children get hurt.

Excellent shopping mall. Many shops to choose from. A nice food court with a diversity of food offerings. Public transit is close by, a short walk from whichever bus you take will take you 10/15 minutes

A modern shopping mall near KUL and Marie Curie universities. All the expected clothing, accessory, electronics, etc. shops, reasonable prices and of course a nice food court.

Convent
The Dominican Abbey, also known as the Dominican Basilica and Monastery, is a must-see attraction in Lublin. This grand building, located at the end of an alley in the Old Town, is one of the oldest structures in the city. Although it was initially founded in the 14th century and later ruined in 1575, extensive renovations have transformed it into a stunning example of Baroque architecture.
One of the oldest building in Lublin) It was founded in the first half of 14th century but, unfortunately, the church was ruined in 1575. The next several years was devoted to the renovation of the building. It became a good example of Baroque. The church looks much more better inside than outside. Every painting and sculpture are executed very skillfully. The church interior amazes by its balance of the grace and majesty. Must seen!

Thai restaurant
Thai Story is a contemporary restaurant in Lublin that serves up a variety of traditional Thai dishes such as curries, stir-fries, and seafood specialties. The restaurant offers a cozy atmosphere with ambient music and friendly staff. Customers have praised the delicious flavors of the food, including crunchy vegetables and juicy meat. While some have mentioned longer waiting times for their orders, many still highly recommend Thai Story for its excellent menu and authentic taste of Thailand.
I was a bit unsure about this place until I saw two boxes of Chang beer on the shelf, then I knew there was no doubt they knew what they are doing. The Pad Ka Prow with beef was great. Paired with awesome Vodka it helps with the heat. Good and spicy as you would expect in Thailand. The staff even understood basic Thai greetings! A fun atmosphere with good music to enjoy your meal. The Thai basil is fresh and adds the nice touch to any dish.
Buzz H — Google review
The food was delicious as always. But it was very hot inside so we weren't comfortable especially eating spicy food. We were in a group of 5 plus a child and upon receiving the check I noticed that they already included a 10% service tax which we weren't informed about. I think many people may have missed it and left a tip on top of it which just doesn't sit right with us. I think we should have been informed beforehand.
Patrycja G — Google review
I don't have much experience with Thai cuisine, but it was very tasty. It was spicy but still edible and you can recognize other tastes. For people that can't use chopsticks there is cutlery on the table so that's a huge plus. The passion fruit lemonade was very rich in taste. I would recommend 🗿

As you can see from all the pictures I took (just in the past year) I go to this restaurant quite often. I am Thai and as a Thai living in Poland. I miss Thai Food a Lot! I have to say This is not the best place for Thai food in Lublin. I have been to this place a couple of times and many times I was not as happy as I would’ve like to be after visiting a Thai restaurant. For people who work in a Thai restaurant it was very weird they did not know what “Prick Nam Pla” was even though it was served with some Menu’s. I asked for it and 3 times they brought the wrong thing even though I showed them pictures. Last time I was there I ordered one dish but got 2 dishes (One of them that I didn’t order) after I told the lady who served it that I didn’t order it she didn’t take it back nor apologized but she just said “we already made it”in a tone I was not really happy to hear like it was my fault and walked away… And So surprise surprise.. of course I had food left over and I ask to put them in a box. They charged me 7 zl for the box and bag…. I ended up paying so much for a meal I did not order and the boxes to take it home… I will not be going back for a while. That was one of the worst experiences ever. I didn’t give them 1 star because I guess it depends on the day what type of service you get but the Food is still decent and good The 2 stars are all taken away because of the service. However, If you decide to go there I do recommend: - Red Curry Chicken - Pad Kra Pow - Kai Pad Med Ma Muang And Thai lemon tea The Milk tea is not as good.
Emilyn T — Google review
The menu offers a wide selection of Thai dishes, catering well to different tastes. The appetizers were flavorful and perfect for sharing, setting a great tone for the meal. Main dishes were well-prepared, with a spice level suited to European preferences—mild but still rich in authentic flavor. Presentation was also a highlight, with food served on elegant plates that added to the overall dining experience. A solid choice for those looking to enjoy approachable Thai cuisine in a pleasant setting.
Tijs — Google review
The food looks appealing! Nice quiet place to eat and nice staff. But not the taste we are looking for as we have had this type of food in Canada. Not what I am expecting as a pregnancy craving. Sorry but food is not as we expected from where we came from.

Fabulous! I did not expect to taste Thai flavours in Lublin. Following my friend’s advice visited this evening and we were not disappointed at all. A simple but cosy interior, great chill out ambient music, friendly and helpful staff. But the real king of the night was the food. Divine!!! Great flavour, crunchy vegetables and delicate and juicy meat. We have ordered 5 different dishes including chicken, beef and we shared so I could taste them all. And they were really really good. If you are looking for great atmosphere and delicious Thai food in the heart of Lublin definitely put ‘Thai Story’ on your bucket list! We’ll definitely come back 👍

Bistro
Breakfast restaurant
Nestled in the heart of Lublin, Cafe Mari is a charming spot that invites you to indulge in leisurely breakfasts and delightful dinners with friends or family. The menu boasts an impressive selection of breakfast options, catering to both sweet and savory palates. One standout dish is their shakshuka, bursting with flavors and spices that transport your taste buds straight to heaven!
Cafe Mari offers a perfect combination of culinary artistry, warm service, and cozy ambiance. From the moment I stepped inside, I was welcomed by the inviting atmosphere—a blend of modern design and artistic charm, with exposed brick walls and thoughtful photography decorating the space. The food selection is truly impressive. I tried the Śniadanie Angielskie (English breakfast), which was hearty and perfectly balanced: crispy bacon, grilled sausages, fried eggs with a rich yolk, mushrooms, and a delicious tomato-bean sauce. The portion size was generous, and everything was seasoned to perfection. Their dessert display is a masterpiece of temptation. From classic Tiramisu to Red Velvet and Oreo tart, every cake looked handcrafted and fresh. I was especially impressed by the variety of tartlets and cheesecakes, which added a gourmet touch. Their open sandwiches were another highlight—visually stunning and packed with flavor, particularly the one with egg paste (kanapka z pastą jajeczną) and the smoked salmon option. It’s clear the café puts a lot of love into presentation and freshness. Service was friendly and efficient. Despite being a busy morning, the staff remained attentive, smiling, and quick to serve. The interior seating is comfortable and ideal for both casual meals and quiet work sessions. In short, Cafe Mari is a gem—perfect for breakfast, brunch, or dessert. Highly recommended for anyone in search of high-quality food in a welcoming, stylish setting.

Insomnia, a notable eatery in Lublin, is highly recommended for its delectable cuisine and warm, efficient service. Situated in a picturesque setting that evokes an ethereal ambiance, this restaurant offers a diverse range of mouth-watering seafood options. Patrons will be delighted by the array of scrumptious dishes on offer at Insomnia. The atmosphere is inviting and the staff are exceedingly friendly, ensuring that each guest has an exceptional dining experience.
This is a great restaurant to check out if you’re in the area! The food is delicious and the staff are very friendly and efficient. The environment is picturesque and almost seems like something dream-like. We happened to stop by while they were hosting a birthday party in one of the rooms, and even though we sat right next to the room, it wasn’t a nuisance at all. If we hadn’t been able to see the birthday balloons, we wouldn’t have even known there was a party! I definitely recommend stopping here for your next dinner!
Kyra S — Google review
This seafood restaurant is renowned for its stunning decor reminiscent of a coastal paradise. Upon entering, I was immediately captivated by the charming maritime-themed ambiance, complete with nautical accents. However, my enchantment quickly faded upon sampling the cuisine. Despite the restaurant's picturesque setting, the food left much to be desired. The dishes, though visually appealing, lacked flavor and depth, rendering them disappointingly bland. Additionally, the exorbitant prices seemed unjustified given the lackluster quality of the fare. One of my companions experienced bad gastrointestinal distress after consuming the clams (she was the only one who ate the clams), casting a shadow over the dining experience. The incident not only marred our evening but also raised concerns about the restaurant's food freshness. In conclusion, while this dining experience may excel in aesthetic charm, its culinary offerings fall far short of expectations. With unremarkable dishes, inflated prices, and questionable food freshness, I cannot in good conscience recommend this establishment to discerning seafood enthusiasts.

The owner, who my family know well by now, is really friendly, communicative and helpful. So are all other staff. Nothing is ever too much trouble. I can't recommend this place enough. It was recommended to us by a local in the break of a conference at KUL, and I don't regret it at all. The decoration is very cozy and pretty, and even though a tad bit cheesy for my personal taste, it really fits the atmosphere. The food was extremely well prepared, and aesthetic, and the taste was nothing to complain about either. The price of the menu was very reasonable for the quality of the food. Definitely will return next time I am around, and will try something á la carte.

Armenia - Kuchnia Kaukaska is an excellent restaurant offering affordable prices and generous portions. Customers have praised the incredible taste of their dishes, such as the chaczapuri, Armenian kebab, and khachlama. The beverages available, including beer and Georgian pear lemonade, are both delicious and refreshing. The attentive service provided by the waitress has also been highly regarded.
Very good food, all fresh, great service and lovely atmosphere. We had Adżib sandal, Tolma, Garni jaraj i Lamadżu with amazing Armenian wines, tea and coffee, Pachlava for dessert. Big portions, we needed to pack part as take away. Highly recommend restaurant. Will be back for sure.

Superb find in the main square of Lublin. We usually avoid main squares for food but this is excellent. We got the tasting platter for two people. The kebabs were particularly excellent. Highly recommend!
Anthony G — Google review
The points are basically for “pahlava”. This desert was good. The meat- no: too dry and combination of other things on the plate wasn’t the best, in my opinion. I had to order an extra sauce, but it didn’t save the situation much. The restaurant itself is in the cellar and it has a small terrace. So, going inside isn’t an option for people with disabilities (too many stairs). The service was rather slow, too. If I return, it will be only for pahlava.

I had dinner here with my boss on a work trip and we loved the experience of trying the delicious Armenian food for the first time. Big portions, very reasonable prices, fast service and our waiter was an extremely polite young Polish man (sadly didn’t catch his name) who lived in the UK for 15 years and spoke perfect British English. He even gave us information and tips for our visit to Lublin. Very much recommended!

Service was superb, unfortunately the food we ordered did not measure up to the high prices we paid for it. Chaczapuri Adżarskie with egg was disappointing. I had it before, and it is supposed to be a boat of deliciousness, cheesy, swimming with butter and liquid egg yolk. There was no visible butter to speak of , and the egg was... well... VERY well done. ( to the consistency of a rubber shoe sole) We both ordered main courses with sheep meat, as it's one of our favorite protein, and not so easy found nowadays. We confirmed with the server that it was available. Unfortunately there was no sheep present in both of our meals. Not even lamb. My brother's 45 zloty dish had beef in it, and my sheep chinkali was full of mystery meat, so heavily seasoned with herbs , that it was indistinguishable . When we mentioned the meat origin issue to our server, he said that he repeatedly made sure that we were served what we ordered. Alas, sheep meat it was not, sadly. Sigh, poor lad, he was really trying. The food was OK, but just ok, definitely not worth a 149 zloty bill.

The Old Town Market Square

Historical landmark
The Old Town Market Square in Lublin has a rich history dating back almost 700 years. After a fire in 1575, the wooden buildings were replaced with impressive brick townhouses named after their historic owners. The square is known for attracting painters and sculptors, giving Kazimierz its unique character. Visitors can admire the parish church above the square and beautifully decorated facades of tenement houses. The area offers cafes, restaurants, small museums, and interesting sculptures to explore.
Lublin has a breathtaking old town with narrow, winding streets that hold secrets from the Middle Ages. Strolling around the market square feels like a walk back in time, when Lublin was a bustling city on the crossroads between Central and Eastern Europe. Lublin's eclectic mix of cultures and traditions is cemented in its opulent town houses and numerous plazas. I was very impressed by how clean, lively, and safe Lublin is. I'm already planning a trip back to this charming city.

A classic old town square of a small European town, like the ones in ghent, brugge. Well preserved vivid embroidered houses, shouldn’t miss. Quite smooth to find by following the main road.

Great experience for anyone who loves food and loves cultural experiences! Learn to bake a traditional Lublin bread with a rich history and take the bread home to share with family and friends or just eat it yourself because it's SO GOOD!
Alonso R — Google review
Really nice! Go here to learn about the history of Cebularza and to make your own. The people are welcoming and the experience was a lot of fun. A lovely afternoon activity. You'll need to make a reservation. If you've never tried Cebularza, stop what you're doing and go get some!!! It's delicious.
Beth M — Google review
Very fun experience! There was a demonstration with participation from the audience, then everyone made their own mini cebularz (I don’t know how to call this in English!). The staff was great and our 2 year old also had fun. I expected it to be hot inside next to the oven but it felt nice and cool compared to the 30 degrees outside.
Tristan S — Google review
This experience is quite silly. Not a muzeum but a commercial venture to extract money from tourists that don't know better. It like the Croissant museum in Poznań which is entertaining for some adolescents but a waste of time and money. You are better off to watch a couple of YouTube videos if you're serious about making these food items.
Ed D — Google review
The museum staff is very kind and welcoming. The story about their onion bread is unique on its own and it is also presented on a very unique way. And the bread is delicious. You should try it, too!
Erik V — Google review
I backed 2 cebularz during the workshop which was a lot of fun. The instructors were very engaging with the participants and in general gave a very entertaining and interesting show. Thank you!
Tomasz N — Google review
A nice interactive presentation including an overview of the ingredients and hands-on opportunity to make your own cebularz. You will learn when it originated and a few facts about Lublin.
Marzena B — Google review
Small but nice museum. Demonstration is nice but, when I was there, only available in Polish which I don't speak. Therefore 3 stars.

Trybunalska in Lublin's old town is a contemporary eatery that caters to both locals and tourists. It offers a wide variety of cocktails and innovative beers on multiple floors. For beer enthusiasts, Sw. Michal is also worth checking out with its extensive selection of brews on tap at Grodzka 16. Trybunalska boasts an integrated dining experience, allowing visitors to enjoy their meals early in the morning or after exploring the city.
Great place to people watch and see lots of different couples getting married. Wanted to try something different so asked the waitress what she’d recommend, tried matcha for the first time with mango and it was really delicious and beautifully presented. Will definitely be back for this piece of art!

Lovely place with a great location in city centre ,unfortunately the food was disappointing. We had breakfast—avocado toast with eggs (a big letdown) and pancakes (not great either). Sadly, I can't recommend it for food. The coffee was good.
Kateryna K — Google review
We choose this place as only here breakfest is served an early morning. Food and service was excellent. We came back next day for lunch and wasn't disappointed at all. Variaty of dishes is great. Good selection of traditional Polish cousin. Highly recommended!
Anzhela A — Google review
Poor value for money – not worth a second visit. I ordered the English breakfast – it was okay at best, nothing memorable. For 38 PLN in 2025 (around €9), you don’t even get coffee or tea included – you’ll have to pay an extra 16–18 PLN just for a drink. Even more surprising: no condiments or seasoning provided by default. I had to ask separately for ketchup, mustard, salt and pepper. Service was inattentive and slow – the staff seemed completely disengaged unless approached multiple times. Honestly, in most Western European capitals you’d get a complete breakfast with hot drink and extras for this price, with much better service. Here, you pay more and get less. Won’t be coming back – not recommended.
Jakub S — Google review
Good food and good atmosphere. In this place you can find whatever you want, they have coffee, dishes meal, hamburgers, milkshakes, etc. There is also a hotel inside this building. There is a bar too. So this place fits for you for sure. It's small door in old town but inside is a large place and comfortable even in cold days. The prices are very satisfactory valued. I recommend this place in case you visit Lublin.

Not worth 30zl. Tastes like processed cheese, small bits of jalapeno, sauce not any better. Do not recommend. Panierowane Serki.

"Miedzy Slowami" is a hidden gem in Lublin, tucked away on a side street near the main Old Town Square. This cozy cafe offers a good selection of coffees, teas, and delicious desserts. What sets it apart is the presence of a bookstore within the cafe, making it a unique spot to enjoy some quiet time with a book and aromatic tea or indulge in tasty treats like apple pie.
Między Słowami (Between the Words) is a cozy gem with an atmosphere that captivates from the moment you step inside. The delightful scent of books fills the air, creating the perfect backdrop for a relaxing coffee break. The chocolate and coffee were absolutely delicious, and the cake of the day added just the right touch of sweetness. The staff was incredibly friendly, enhancing the experience even more. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a warm, bookish escape!

Fantastic place was recommended to me in the tourist centre. Original coffee recipes very well crafted by a lovely barista. It’s not the cheapest coffee in Lublin.
Дєніс С — Google review
Such a cozy & welcoming atmosphere! They have English menus & are very accommodating. Sadly, didn’t get to order anything but word on the street is that their hot chocolate is great. Seems like the perfect place to study & read.
Areej K — Google review
The perfect cafe for book lovers. They have so many varieties of tea, delicious desserts, and all the books you could possibly want. Plus the atmosphere lends itself to study during the day.

Very nice atmosphere, especially for a date night. The food was delicious. I recommend the Ukranian Borscht, then Duck Dish and leave room for their delicious deserts. Waiter is very helpful with recommendations as well.

Very nice place with unique atmosphere and coffee.

While looking for cafes in Lublin, I came across this one and I liked the idea of offering free to read books to their customers. Their cappuccino was more like a latte, but it came with a nice cinnamon flavour. The place was really cozy and the staff very friendly.

Very nice sitting, delicious coffee and interesting choice of cakes. Smiling and helpful service(you might need help to make a choice, too many too good options available^^). My friends also recommend breakfasts here.

(Translated by Google) Delicious food, nice atmosphere and a very nice waitress :) Always smiling, ready to help. She gave cards and crayons to children when placing orders to keep the youngest customers occupied. Large children's portions, affordable price. I heartily recommend it! (Original) Pyszne jedzenie, fajny klimat i przemiła Pani kelnerka :) Ciągle uśmiechnięta, gotowa do pomocy. Dała kartki i kredki dzieciom przy składaniu zamówienia aby zająć czas najmłodszym klientom. Porcje dziecięce spore, cena przystępna. Polecam serdecznie!

(Translated by Google) Maybe it's good, gourmet cuisine. Coffee whose scent goes with us. Or maybe a lonely tree in a beautiful, modern courtyard. Is the name appropriate to the place? All this and the company of coherent transparency, i.e. poetry over the Muses' inscrutable world. I will come back here. To a place that created good memories... (Original) Może to dobra, wykwintna kuchnia. Kawa, której zapach wychodzi z nami. A może samotne drzewo na pięknym , nowoczesnym dziedzińcu. Nazwa adekwatna do miejsca? To wszystko i towarzystwo spójnej przejrzystosci czyli poezji nad Muzy światem nieodgadnionym. Bedę tutaj wracał. Do miejsca, które stworzyło dobre wspomnienia...
